Afghanistan
Number of Afghan Migrants Returning From Pakistan Surge
[TOLONEWS] Pakistain's implementation of its policy to force Afghan colonists Migrants to return to Afghanistan is on its second day, as the caretaker government's deadline for deporting illegal immigrants colonists'>colonists Migrants from the nation was November 1.

The acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, Khalil Rahman Haqqani, said that twelve committees are now offering assistance in a number of places to families that are returning from Pakistain.

"We expect them not to do this with forceful arrests, demolishing the immigrants colonists'>colonists Migrants' houses and taking their properties, as well as not allowing them to carry out cash of even twenty to fifty thousand," Haqqani noted.

A camp has been created for 5,000 families returning from Pakistain via Torkham, and it is filling up.

Some of the families who have shelters are slowly leaving the camp and are going to their provinces, but there are also families who do not have shelter, and are saying that they are facing challenges.

"We are looking for houses, but we cannot find them. It is our right that they should not charge us rent first, but if they do, they should be reduced fares," Dawlat Khan, a returnee told TOLOnews.

"If someone spends 40 years in an English person's house, he will treat him humanely. But these [Paks] are like Israelis, they have no humanity," said Waliullah, a returnee, to TOLOnews.

Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, Butch cautiously raised his hat over the edge of the horse trough on the end of a stick......
some civil society activists and youth who went to Torkham crossing to welcome the refugees, asked all the citizens to help the refugees in reducing house rents and other expenses.

They also asked international institutions not to remain silent in solving the challenges of the returnees.

Two members UAE-linked factions killed in ambush in Abyan province, Southern Yemen
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Two members of the UAE-backed factions were killed on Thursday in an armed ambush in Abyan
...a governorate of Yemen. The region was a base to the Aden-Abyan Islamic Army terrorist group until it dropped the name and joined al-Qaeda. Its capital is Zinjibar. In March 2011, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula declared the governate an Islamic Emirate after seizing control of the region. The New York Times fastidiously reported that those in control, while Islamic hard boyz, are not in fact al-Qaeda, but something else that looks, tastes, smells, and acts the same. Yemeni government forces launched an effort to re-establish control of the region when President-for-Life Saleh was tossed and the carnage continues...
province, southern Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
Unidentified button men set up an armed ambush during which they targeted a military vehicle of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions with an bomb between the village of Surat al-Mashaykh and al-Baqira, as a result of which an officer in the factions and one of his lover companions were killed.

This came after the killing of two children and a young man when STC’s members opened fire on citizens riding a car last Monday next to al-Hamina station in the al-Jabla area of the district, and then they fled.

Ambushes by pro-Islah Party terrorist elements have targeted STC military vehicles with bombs, during which more than 520 members, including leaders, have been killed or maimed since the announcement of Operation "Siham al-Sharq" on August 21, 2022, until last August.

Jordanian national arrested in Houston allegedly planned attack on Jews
[NY Post] A "radical" Jordanian national living in Texas was allegedly plotting an attack on Houston’s Jewish community before he was arrested on gun charges.
Is there one, besides Kinky Friedman?
Who? According to Wikipedia, 51,000 as of 2016, centered in the Meyerland area, wherever that is.
Kinky is an American Treasure and funnier than hell. Frequently on Don Imus' show. See SteveS's notes in comments
Sohaib Abuayyash, 20, had been studying how to build bombs and posted about his support for killing Jews, federal officials claim.

"He has viewed specific and detailed content posted by radical organizations on the internet, including lessons on how to construct bombs or explosive devices," FBI Director Chris Wray told the Senate Homeland Security Committee, though he declined to identify Abuayyash by name.

"And that defendant has made statements to others that support the killing of individuals of particular religious faiths."

Abuayyash even allegedly made a direct reference in one social media post about an event in Houston for the Jewish community, according to court documents obtained by CNN.

It did not include details about the target and time of the alleged attack.

Abuayyash is behind bars on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by someone with a non-immigrant visa, and US Magistrate Judge Christina Bryan has ruled he should remain detained pending trial.

She wrote in court documents that Abuayyash spoke of committing martyrdom in support of a religious cause and made statements "that he wants to go to Gaza to fight," according to documents also obtained by CBS News.

"He has viewed specific and detailed content posted by radical organizations on the Internet, including lessons on how to construct bombs or explosive devices," she wrote.

An affidavit filed Oct. 19 in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas also says Abuayyash "has been in direct contact with others who share a radical mindset, has been conducting physical training and has trained with weapons to possibly commit an attack.
Update from NBC Houston at 6:00 pm ET
The charges allege Abuayyash was unlawfully in the United States and knowingly possessed a firearm, namely a Canik, model TP9 Elite SC, 9 mm pistol.
It apparently lists at $560, but can easily be found for $400.
Abuayyash was arrested by the FBI on Oct. 19. He remains detained pending further criminal proceedings. He is set to appear for his arraignment Nov. 13 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Yvonne Ho in Houston at 2 p.m.

According to the criminal complaint filed upon his arrest, Abuayyash entered the United States on a nonimmigrant visa, which expired in 2019,
...when our miscreant was 16, so he came either on a student visa or as a tourist — either way, presumably his parents were involved, so to whom did they entrust his care until he reached adulthood next year...
and has allegedly been in direct contact with others who share a radical mindset. The charges further allege he has been conducting physical training and has trained with weapons to possibly commit an attack.

If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in federal prison as well as a possible $250,000 maximum fine.

The FBI is conducting the investigation.
Update from the Fox News liveblog at 9:40 p.m. ET, just to wrap things up in a bow:
Court documents obtained by the TV station say the Jordanian national arrived in the U.S. on June 2, 2016, on a B2 tourism visa
...B-2 is an unlimited entry tourist visa...
and left about two months later.

"Using a Palestine passport, Abuayyash returned to the United States in June 2019. In January 2020, Abuayyash applied for an Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal, which is still pending," FOX 26 stated.
Asylum?
"In August 2023, Abuayyash was approved for an employment authorization in the United States, allowing him to work in the U.S. until August 1, 2025. Abuayyash’s immigration status doesn’t allow him to possess or use firearms or ammunition," the outlet added.

World Health Organization records 218 attacks against Gaza health facilities
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The World Health Organization (WHO) has revealed that it recorded 218 attacks on health facilities in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip.

WHO’s Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said at a presser in Geneva: "So far, the World Health Organization has confirmed 237 attacks on health facilities, including 218 in the Paleostinian territories."

He considered that "attacks on health facilities are "a violation of international humanitarian law."

Tedros added, "Since October 7, orders have been issued to 23 hospitals in Gaza and the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate their patients, even though forced evacuation in these circumstances would threaten the lives of patients."

He also explained that such actions in Gaza result in exposing children and infants to extreme danger. "Asking these patients to move puts them and health workers in a desperate situation, and in most cases, if they are forced to do so, they have nowhere to go."

US warns Israel amid Gaza carnage it doesn't have long before support erodes
[CNN of course] President Joe Biden and his top advisers are warning Israel with growing force that it will become increasingly difficult for it to pursue its military goals in Gaza as global outcry intensifies about the scale of humanitarian suffering there.

Biden, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken — who departed Thursday for Israel with a message on protecting civilian lives — have all explicitly pressed the case in recent private conversations with the Israelis, telling them that eroding support will have dire strategic consequences for Israel Defense Forces operations against Hamas.

Behind the scenes, American officials also believe there is limited time for Israel to try to accomplish its stated objective of taking out Hamas in its current operation before uproar over the humanitarian suffering and civilian casualties — and calls for a ceasefire — reaches a tipping point.

In fact, there is recognition within the administration that that moment may arrive quickly: Some of the president’s close advisers believe that there are only weeks, not months, until rebuffing the pressure on the US government to publicly call for a ceasefire becomes untenable, sources told CNN.

There have been no signs that Israel’s offensive is slowing. The Israeli military said Thursday it is surrounding Gaza City and "deepening" its operations there. CNN witnessed the skies of Northern Gaza illuminated by flares and explosions as the bombardment intensified late Thursday night.

Particularly jarring to Biden and his national security team, two sources familiar with the matter said, were Israeli airstrikes this week that targeted a refugee camp in northern Gaza, resulting in grim scenes of widespread destruction and deaths. The president "didn’t like this at all," one of the sources said.

#16  BREAKING: Netanyahu Rebukes US, Declares No Pause and No Fuel Before Hostages are Released

Benjamin Netanyahu has learned to take Hamas at its word. The United States, and specifically Antony Blinken and Joe Biden, still have not. As Blinken met with the unity government in Jerusalem to push Israel to ‘pause’ operations for aid to flow into northern Gaza, Netanyahu delivered a rather humiliating public rebuke.

If the US wants a pause, then Hamas needs to unconditionally release all the hostages first. Failing that, game on:

n a brief televised statement before the start of Shabbat, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he has told visiting US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that he rejects any temporary halt to the fight against Hamas that does not include “the release of our hostages. He also says Israel “will not enable the entry of fuel to Gaza.”

Netanyahu begins by promising that victory will be “sharp and clear” and will “resonate for generations.”

He says Israel’s enemies aim to destroy the country and will fail. “We won’t stop until victory,” he says, specifying that this means “to destroy Hamas, [and attain the] return of the hostages and the restoration of security for our citizens and children.”

In other word "Don't worry about leftards/muzzies going berserk (78% of Americans support Israel), Joe - worry about nuclear Mesada".

Blinken says Israel can do more to 'minimize civilian casualties' in Gaza
[Washington Examiner] Israel must take a series of "concrete steps ... to minimize civilian casualties" in Gaza, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said amid a growing international outcry over Israel’s conduct in the war against Hamas.
The name "Blinken" has become a verb.
"We will be talking about concrete steps that can and should be taken to minimize harm to men, women, and children in Gaza," Blinken said on Thursday. "When I see a Palestinian child — a boy, a girl — pulled from the rubble of a collapsed building, that hits me in the gut as much as seeing a child from Israel or anywhere else. So this is something that we have an obligation to respond to, and we will."

Blinken is making his third trip to Israel since the Hamas terrorist rampage that ignited the war on Oct. 7 and his first since acknowledging that "humanitarian pauses must be considered" during a Senate appearance this week. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has resisted such demands on the grounds that it would benefit Hamas.

"Our answer is no," Israeli Ambassador Michael Herzog, who leads the Israeli Embassy in Washington, told the Jewish People Policy Institute on Thursday. "They should not approach us on that. ... We are not going to talk about a ceasefire in the middle of the war because that means a victory to Hamas."

Israeli forces bombarded the Gaza Strip for weeks in anticipation of a ground offensive. Their stated goal of eradicating the terrorist organization raises the specter of intense urban warfare, which can take a horrendous toll on civilians in any conflict.

Pity the Gazans are not as enthusiastic about the process as y'all are. It would save a lot of rubble-izing.

Speaking of concrete steps, I saw a photo of a soldier standing in a tunnel. The tunnel was built from a series of concrete arches that appeared to be either cast in place or pre-fab. A lot of building material that could have been used for something useful, like buildings.

Israeli tank commander hailed as hero after Hamas attack is killed in Gaza
[Guardian] An Israeli tank commander who was hailed as a hero for his actions during Hamas’s attack on Be’eri kibbutz, the scene of one of the worst massacres on 7 October, has been killed while commanding his tank battalion in northern Gaza.

Lt Col Salman Habaka, 33, a member of Israel’s Druze minority, had rushed to Be’eri with his troops when news of the Hamas attack broke on the morning of 7 October, bringing two tanks to the kibbutz, which engaged members of the militant Islamist group in houses where they were hiding.

He is the most senior officer to have been killed during the IDF’s ground operation in the Gaza Strip, bringing the Israeli military death toll since the ground invasions started last weekend to 18.

Habaka was among the first Israeli troops to arrive in Israel’s south as the full scope and horror of Hamas’s attack emerged, and later described his part in the fighting in Be’eri in a video interview.

"I arrived in Be’eri to see Brig Gen Barak Hiram and the first thing he asks me is to fire a shell into a house [where Hamas were sheltering]," he said.

Palestinian Health Ministry: 9,159 killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza Strip and West Bank
How many are real people rather than imaginary? How many are casualties rather than actually dead?
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Israeli Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s on the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks.
Strip and army bullets in the West Bank killed 9,159 Paleostinians and maimed more than 24,000 others, today said the Paleostinian Ministry of Health.

It said 9025 people were killed in the Gaza Strip, more than 73 percent of them were children, women, and the elderly since the Israeli aggression started on October 7 and more than 22,000 were maimed, while 134 people were killed and 2100 injured in the West Bank.

It said that 280 people were killed in the past two days.
