[Ron Paul Institute] Just days after the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, theories are flying from all directions. Many who ridiculed the "conspiracy theories" of conservatives are now suggesting the whole event was a set-up to boost Trump in the polls ahead of the election. Others suggest it was the "deep state" or even foreign actors who organized it.
Former US Navy Seal and founder of Blackwater, Erik Prince, claims that "The fact that [the Secret Service] allowed a rifle armed shooter within 150 yds to a preplanned event is either malice or massive incompetence." He went on to observe that, "unaccountable bloated bureaucracies continue to fail us as Americans," adding that "unserious and unworthy people in positions of authority got us to this near disaster. Merit and execution must be the only deciding factors in hiring and leadership, not the social engineering priority of the day."
Video has emerged showing that for at least two minutes law enforcement knew someone with a gun was on a roof aiming at the former President and no one communicated the need to pull Trump from the stage. You can clearly hear the crowd warning law enforcement that someone was on the roof. Yet he was unhindered until the first shots rang out.
Considering this fact, Erik Prince has a point.
If this is like any previous governmental foul-ups, we can expect hearings, investigations, and commissions that will actually serve to hide the official errors or even malicious intent by some in the government. That’s what government does no matter who is in office: protect itself from actual scrutiny and resist being exposed as incompetent or worse.

malice or massive incompetence
Embrace the power of the word "and". If they weren't malicious the sniper would have been neutralized before he got to the roof top. If they weren't incompetent, Trump would be dead.

The reason we will never know is because there is zero trust in all levels of GIVERnment. So when we are actually told the truth we believe we are being lied to
[Federalist] Nobody wants to hear this because of the implications, but oh well, because it needs to be said: Joe Biden’s security regime deliberately and with malice and forethought created the conditions that led to an attempted assassin shooting Donald Trump in the head. It is by the grace of God that he lived and our nation is not currently in the midst of a violent civil war.
They deliberately starved Trump’s security team of the resources it needed. And they did it repeatedly, over many weeks and months.
With Trump’s security detail understaffed, under-resourced, and stretched to its limits, Biden’s security regime reportedly diverted even more resources to a hastily planned Jill Biden event that just happened to be in the area.
Biden’s security regime then ordered the most obvious assassination perch in the entire area to remain outside the main security perimeter.
Furthermore, Biden’s Secret Service director ordered law enforcement and counter-snipers OFF the roof the assassin used.
If that weren’t enough, Biden’s security regime also refused to block the line of sight from the assassin’s perch to Trump’s location. When law enforcement radioed in a suspicious person using a laser range finder at the building and even took photos of him, nothing was done to detain the assassin.
The assassin was so obviously a threat that bystanders at the event begged law enforcement to stop him, but nothing happened. And even as snipers on the roof near Trump saw a gunman on the other roof, Biden’s security regime refused to have agents immediately surround Trump or remove him from the stage to protect him from being shot.
Given the lies and nonsense from both Biden’s Department of Homeland Security secretary and his Secret Service director, it’s increasingly difficult to believe this was just a series of independent mistakes (Secret Service director Kim Cheatle at one point this week claimed snipers couldn’t be on the roof because it was sloped and they might fall and hurt themselves). In contrast, when you look at the entire picture, what you see better resembles a deliberate plan to make Trump vulnerable but to appear at first glance to be just a couple of innocent mistakes.
And when you add in how little information we’ve been given about the shooter — apparently the only person on Earth not on the internet — you begin to wonder if maybe a group of people at a different three-letter agency might have been working on a parallel track to find and encourage people to take action against Trump at the very same time he was kept vulnerable by Biden’s regime.
We know this happens because the FBI did it with Gretchen Whitmer: It recruited and urged disturbed individuals to buy weapons and put together a plan to kidnap her. In that case, the FBI wanted a story it could use to slime right-wingers. So it created the story itself.

Biden denies security altogether for RFK Jr. Now we see that he deliberately downgrades security for Trump. It's pretty easy to see what's happening. Of course he is malicious. We're just lucky that he is also incompetent.

I think the water tower was the most obvious perch for a shooter. No personnel were there, either.

We have passed the point where all this can be explained by incompetence. I think this was a deliberate attempt to leave gaps for Trump to be assassinated. And I believe certain other parties in the government 'arranged/groomed' this guy for the hit.

Its looking more and more deliberate. You dont have to kill the president, there are plenty of triggered nutcases ready to it for you without contact. All Biden has to do is create a soft environment and wait for the success....

[FoxNews] A startling image of former President Donald J. Trump surviving an assassination attempt on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, has become an instant cultural sensation.
Moments after a bullet struck his ear and missed a fatal headshot by mere millimeters, the former president and now 2024 GOP presidential nominee rose to his feet with blood streaked across his face and raised his fist in defiant triumph beneath an American flag in front of a blue, cloudless sky.
The scene, framed almost perfectly, was captured by AP photographer Evan Vucci.
Its visceral power drew widespread comparisons to some of the most patriotic images in American history, including Joe Rosenthal’s photograph of Marines raising the flag over Iwo Jima in World War II and Emanuel Leutze’s romanticized painting of "Washington Crossing the Delaware."
"What all these great flag photos or images have in common is artistic composition," Owen Conner, chief curator at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia, told Fox News Digital this week.

He made his career with a photo that will outlast his own life by 100 years. Probably ate at the Marriott breakfast buffet not knowing that his life was about to change.

And as we type, the party apparatchiks are trying to bury it.
[AbleChild] But what we know is that the parents of the would-be assassin have been cooperating with the FBI. However, why have they not been criminally charged? While it may seem too early to have this discussion, one of the most pressing questions is what role the parents of Thomas Matthew Crooks played in providing access to the alleged weapon and whether they provided mental health assistance for their son?
It is not unreasonable to compare other mass killings and the approach the FBI’s investigations take considering its recently released report that completely ignored and excluded any mention of mental health “treatments”- prescribed psychiatric drugs – the shooters have in common. In addition, certainly it is the scope of the FBI investigation that led to the parents of Michigan school shooter, Ethan Crumbley, to be criminally charged, prosecuted, and imprisoned for failure to secure the weapon and failure to provide mental health services. How will it be possible for Crooks’ parents to not face the same charges?
The public is learning through leaked press coverage that the alleged weapon used in the killing of Corey Comperatore and attempted assassination of former President Trump was purchased by the father 6 months ago. It would be foolish to believe that Crooks’ parents were unaware of any mental illness problems or psychiatric drug use as the father is a behavioral health expert and private therapist.
But, within twenty-four hours, the FBI leaked that there are no signs of mental health issues with the alleged shooter. This kind of early leak is typical of multiple mass shootings and where the FBI has been completely wrong, leaving the public to discover years later that mental health drug cocktails were involved. So far, the lack of any information about the shooter’s parents raises concerns about purposeful withholding of familial information. The FBI’s silence on this matter just fuels speculation and distrust.
Finally, it seems odd that the FBI would release a statement that the shooter acted alone so early in the investigation. How can the FBI come to that conclusion when, at the same time, is revealing that it has yet been able to “get into the phone” of the shooter. Everyone knows that personal phones hold enormous amounts of information. It would appear that there is yet much to learn about the would-be assassin, yet the FBI has already decided, within hours of the shooting, that Crooks was the lone participant.
Given the open animosity coming from the Administration, the Justice Department, and the FBI, toward former President Trump (lawfare), it would be foolish to leave law enforcement to its own devices.

Of course they are. It's what the do.
As to parents culpability, it's not about actual culpability. The Crumbley case involved four great kids and an infinity of sadness. The displacement of anger and grief had to go someplace and the parents were Not Like Us. Dysfunctional and ugly, a good target for displacement.
Not so the teacher who didn't check the kid's backpack during the conference when they were trying to get him out of school. That teacher was Like Us and not a target for displacement.
I suspect the Crooks elders are Like Us and thus immune, irrespective of facts.
I knew there'd be "Crumbley Case" proving my point but not so soon.

Why is no one questioning about a cop that is threatened by a man with a rifle and does not alert fellow LEO about it? Especially near a large gathering with a high profile (Trump) speaker? What is wrong with everybody?

[FoxNews] 'When people like Iran want to take you out, that probably means it's good for America, bad for Iran'.
The Department of Homeland Security received intelligence from a human source on an Iranian plot to assassinate former President Trump, Fox News has been told by two federal law enforcement sources. CNN first reported that there has been an increase in Secret Service protection for Trump in recent weeks because of this intelligence. DHS and Secret Service have increasingly been concerned about Trump holding outdoor events, Fox News is told.
The plot doesn't appear to be connected to Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, the gunman who shot Trump during his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, over the weekend, the sources said. Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations denied the allegations, calling them "unsubstantiated and malicious" in a statement to Fox News Digital. Trump directed the January 2020 strike that killed Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the leader of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Forces.
