[FoxNews] The historic crisis at the southern border saw millions of illegal immigrants arrive there, with a great many eventually released into the United States as officials struggled to deal with the numbers they were facing.
Illegal immigration has remained a top issue for voters ever since, and that has been highlighted by a number of shocking, high-profile crimes committed by those in the country without authorization.
These are some of the most shocking crimes allegedly committed by illegal immigrants at the height of the border crisis – some of whom entered during the current crisis and some who entered years before, but allegedly committed crimes recently. Long, detailed, starts in 2022.
[PRESSENTERPRISE] A third liquidation attempt against former President Donald Trump ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... was thwarted on Saturday after a Las Vegas man was arrested with weapons and fake passes about a half mile from Trump's campaign rally in Coachella Valley, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said Sunday.
Deputies assigned to Trump's rally said the driver, Vem Miller, rolled up in a black SUV to a checkpoint at the intersection of Avenue 52 and Celebration Drive around 5 p.m. He was found to be in illegal possession of a shotgun, loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
Bianco told the Southern Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, News Group on Sunday that he believes Miller — who he said is a member of a right—leaning anti-government group — planned to kill Trump and that deputies thwarted the plan when Miller presented fake VIP and press passes at a checkpoint.
''They were different enough to cause the deputies alarm,'' Bianco said. ''We probably stopped another liquidation attempt.''
Miller is a registered Republican who holds a master's degree from UCLA, and who ran for state assembly in Nevada in 2022.
Bianco said Miller considers himself a so-called sovereign citizen, a group of people who do not believe they are subject to any government statutes unless they consent to them.
The Sheriff's Department set up what Bianco called a double perimeter that controlled access within a half mile of the rally. Residents were allowed through, but they were watched to make sure they drove to their neighborhoods and not toward the rally.
Miller was caught at one of those checkpoints.
Bianco said that the last he heard, Miller had not made any statements to Sherlocks.
The sheriff said he is in disbelief.
''I thought it's not going to happen in Riverside County. We don't have the same sicko issues and violent mostly peaceful protests like they have in Los Angeles. We're better than that. Go figure.''
Bianco said U.S. Secret Service officials said his department went ''above and beyond'' in their efforts to protect Trump and others who attended the rally.
''I am extremely proud of the mental and physical effort our deputies showed all day,'' said Bianco, who noted high temperatures in the desert area were near 100 degrees.
Bianco also said the FBI is questioning another man after bomb-detecting dogs ''repeatedly'' identified him as possibly dangerous. That man was not allowed in the rally, Bianco said.
Miller was booked at the John J. Benoit Detention Center for possessing a loaded firearm and high-capacity magazine, authorities said. He was released Saturday on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Indio Larson Justice Center on Jan. 2, 2025, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department inmate database.
The Secret Service put out a brief statement saying it was aware of the arrest. ''The incident did not impact protective operations. The Secret Service extends its gratitude to the deputies and local partners who assisted in safeguarding last night's events,'' the agency said.
Only $5000? When Reagan was president a lunatic whose parents lived next door to my parents ... and that son was recently released from a mental institution as "freedom of choice " was so so obvious for the government ... threatened to kill him when he visited Offutt AFB ... was kept locked up for a long time until they just made sure that being locked up until after election was impotant
The Daily Mail has lots of photos of the gentleman with all sorts of Republican luminaries plus a video he made at the Republican National Convention, adding:
According to Sheriff Bianco, he also had multiple passports and drivers licenses with different names in his car.
Deputies noticed that the interior of Miller's vehicle was in 'quite disarray.'
'The vehicle had a an obviously fake license plate, and that prompted further investigation from our deputy into why the person was where... and what he was doing,' said Bianco.
'During that investigation, the deputy eventually found multiple passports with multiple names, multiple driver's license with different names,
…were any of them real, ie. the passports issued by the US State Department, the driver’s licenses issued by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles, or were they all forged?
the vehicle was unregistered,' he went on.
In addition, he said the license plate was 'homemade.'
He was booked at John Benoit Detention Center, made his $10,000 bail – $5,000 for each of two misdemeanors for which he was charged – and as of Sunday was no longer in custody.
So $10,000 bail, not $5,000. For which he probably had to put up 10% if there was a bail bondsman involved to cover the rest, if I understand correctly.

NOW – Sheriff Chad Bianco Slams Reporters Trying to Downplay Trump's 3rd Assassination Attempt

Possibly why President Trump said there was no assassination attempt — from the Daily Beast:
The man Southern California authorities arrested outside a Donald Trump rally Sunday for allegedly carrying multiple unregistered firearms contradicted a local sheriff who said he was there to kill the former president, calling the idea “bulls--t” while claiming he is a staunch supporter of Trump.
Vem Miller, a 49-year-old resident of Las Vegas, told a reporter with the Southern California News Group that he was invited personally to Trump’s Coachella Valley rally by the head of Clark County’s Republican Party. He also claimed he was wearing a Trump shirt and a MAGA hat while entering the perimeter via a security checkpoint, when he told the officer working the gate that he had firearms in his car as a courtesy.
“These accusations are complete bull---t,” Miller said. “I’m an artist, I’m the last person that would cause any violence and harm to anybody.”
At a press conference following the arrest on Sunday, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said Miller passed an initial outer perimeter, but was stopped when a deputy noticed an “obviously fake license plate” as he tried to pass a second checkpoint. The sheriff also said it appeared likely that Miller was a “sovereign citizen”—part of a loosely organized anti-government movement.
He was quickly arrested and charged with possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine, the sheriff’s office said in a press release. The arrest happened before the former president arrived at the rally, and “did not impact the safety of former President Trump or attendees of the event,” the release added.
Miller’s license plate was “one that is homemade and indicative of a group of individuals that claim to be sovereign citizens,” Bianco said. The sheriff said the deputies noticed several other “irregularities” with Miller’s car—the interior was in “disarray,” and he was in possession of “multiple” fake passports and fake drivers’ licenses displaying other names.
Miller claimed to be a journalist with VIP access to the rally, Bianco said, but his press pass “didn’t necessarily materialize.”
Bianco also said that Miller’s car wasn’t registered, as sovereign citizens often don’t believe in registering their cars. “We had to go through VIN number,” the sheriff said. “It actually did belong to him, it just was not ever registered.”
Miller was also in possession of several unregistered firearms, including a shotgun and a loaded handgun, as well as a high caliber magazine, the sheriff’s office said. He was booked at the John J. Benoit Detention Center and released on his own recognizance.

The weapons did not seem likely for a ranged assassination attempt. A close in attempt with a VIP ID would have been subject to security search of some sort.

Maybe he just wanted to pull security detail for Trump?
[FoxNews] 'The real sin... was the collaboration between social media, legacy media and the intelligence community,' New York Post journalist Emma-Jo Morris says.
Hunter Biden’s scandalous laptop - falsely dismissed as Russian disinformation – became part of the American lexicon four years ago today, on October 14, 2020, kicking off a years-long scandal with big tech, corporate media and the intelligence community.
"I think that virtually every single mainstream outlet disgraced themselves," former New York Post deputy politics editor Emma-Jo Morris told Fox News Digital.
While at the New York Post, Morris first reported on Hunter Biden’s personal computer, which eventually was dubbed the "laptop from hell" by the paper’s staffers. The infamous laptop was filled with shocking videos and photos of drug use, lewd sex acts, and sensitive business communications. It was exposed by the Post only a few weeks before then-candidate Joe Biden was set to square off against then-President Trump.
In an unprecedented act of uniformed censorship, the bombshell Post report was essentially buried by Big Tech and the mainstream press, silencing an "October surprise" that many feel could have swung the election.
Twitter, claiming the story violated its terms of service on hacked materials, locked the New York Post out of its account for weeks and even blocked users from sharing the story link. MSNBC, CNN, CBS, NPR, Washington Post, The New York Times and a variety of other outlets and social media platforms either pushed the since-debunked "Russian disinformation" narrative or ignored the story altogether.
Morris, who had the lead byline on the initial bombshell report, feels the "multiple scandals" that erupted following her story forever changed the trajectory of tech and media in America.
"It definitely did change… the trajectory of the tech history because first of all, obviously, the most glaring example is that… the trust on Twitter was completely collapsed… it led Elon Musk to buy the platform," Morris said.
"Now that he has acquired Twitter, it's completely changed the ability for censors to operate because he is just not playing ball with them," she continued. "And Twitter is obviously, which was why this was so scandalous during the time of laptop censorship, Twitter is the main feeder for the rest of media."
The Russian disinformation narrative stemmed in part from an open letter penned by 51 former intel officials, several of whom endorsed Joe Biden for president that year, who declared that the laptop had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation." The open letter quickly went viral and was parroted by Biden supporters, including his then-future White House press secretary Jen Psaki, who is now an MSNBC host.
"These people took the word of spies and completely misled the American public, either wittingly or unwittingly. I'm not sure which one is worse," Morris said.
Biden was quick to cite the letter during a 2020 presidential debate when he called claims the laptop was authentic "a bunch of garbage" and only believed by then-President Trump and his allies.
Morris says she got into journalism to help Americans have "some sort of check on power and on tyranny," but the laptop censorship made her realize something critical. She noted the scandal was eye-opening because she realized corporate America has so much clout that tech and media companies were approached by the intelligence community to do their bidding.
"Who was the central focal point of the corruption here? It was corporations. It was Big Tech and corporate media," Morris said.
Morris, now a senior consultant for Beck & Stone, feels there was never real accountability for the people who pushed the bogus narrative that the "laptop from hell" was Russian disinformation even though people following the saga "learned so much" through investigations by journalists and Congress.
"The real sin in all of this was the collaboration between social media, legacy media and the intelligence community," Morris said.
"Nobody apologized, and I don't mean apologized… to their readers and their listeners," Morris continued. "Not a single one."
Morris’ initial Post story centered on a 2015 email from a Ukrainian energy executive to Hunter Biden, thanking him for introducing him to his father, that it had obtained from the hard drive of the laptop. Joe Biden was vice president at the time of the message, and his son then enjoyed a lucrative position on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy firm, raising concerns of an attempted influence-peddling scheme.
The laptop, which was allegedly dropped off at a repair shop in 2019 by its owner and never recovered, was absolutely authentic and has since been not only confirmed by the FBI, but also by the media that previously insisted it was Russian disinformation.
Morris feels The New York Times was the most egregious of the corporate media bad actors, because the Gray Lady dismissed it as "Russian disinformation" until subtly confirming it years later as a throwaway line buried deep in a story about Hunter Biden's taxes.

All the 51 “intelligence professionals “ who signed that document should have their security clearances (if any) revoked the day Trump is sworn into office.
#4
Revoke clearances also for that 200 or so intelligence professionals who recently signed on to support Kamala Harris because Trump is icky, and probably a fascist.
[FORBES] Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee ruled state prosecutors lacked the authority to bring one count of filing false documents and one count of conspiring to file false documents against Trump, CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... reported.
Trump's initial 13 charges have now been reduced to eight, which include his racketeering charge, conspiring to impersonate a public officer and conspiring to commit forgery in the first degree.
The election interference case has been slowed by an appeal from Trump and co-defendants challenging Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' role as the leading prosecutor in the case.
Trump lawyer Steve Sadow in a tweet characterized the dropped charges as a win for Trump and his legal team.

The Left knows if Trump is allowed to take office once he is elected (and he will be). They are facing serious Prison time for their numerous felonies. Felonies they themselves have committed in abusing the civil rights of others, treason, voter fraud, and perjury via using LawFare.
[PJ] On Sunday, PJ Media's Scott Pinsker said that there would be a surefire way of telling that Kamala Harris legitimately thinks she's losing the election.
"As long as Kamala Harris believes she’s winning, she’s not going to take any risks. No big gambles, no bold moves," he wrote. He noted several signs of genuine panic from her campaign, and number one was that "Kamala Harris will suddenly open up and do a ton of interviews — including hostile interviews."
Lo and behold, on Monday, Fox News announced that Harris will do a sit-down interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier.
Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris will sit down with Fox News Channel’s chief political anchor Bret Baier for an interview on Wednesday in Pennsylvania.
It will be Harris’ first formal interview ever on Fox News. It will air on the October 16 edition of Baier’s "Special Report" at 6 p.m. ET. Baier will anchor "Special Report" from the battleground state of Pennsylvania that evening.
Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, joined "Fox News Sunday" for the second straight week on Sunday as the Democratic ticket has amped up media appearances in recent weeks.
"Special Report" is regularly among the most-watched programs in cable news, and the popular Common Ground segment featuring political leaders from across the aisle discussing the issues of the day with the goal of finding middle ground has been a hit this election cycle.
Harris has already been increasing the number of interviews she's been having, but they've all been on friendly territory. She's appeared on CNN, MSNBC, "The View", "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", Howard Stern's radio show, "60 Minutes," and a sex podcast called "Call Her Daddy."
[GEO.TV] Mark Cuban, the billionaire investor and owner of the Dallas Mavericks, supports the Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... as he believes Vice President Kamala Harris who got her start in politix between former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's' knees is a "better candidate".
Endorsing Harris against former US president Donald Trump ...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down... , Cuban claimed he "thought a first term by Donald Trump was bad. A second term would be worse".
The ABC's Shark Tank television star has actively backed Harris on social media and in interviews after she became the face of the democratic party.
Cuban used to support Trump's candidacy in 2015 but now he has completely been against the former president.
Over the last few months, Cuban and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been engaged in a verbal dispute as Elon is one of Trump's main supporter and Cuban is vigilantly protecting Harris from accusation made by Trump and Musk fans.
Speaking during an interview with Newsweek, the billionaire revealed another reason why he supports the vice-president. He said: "Kamala is far more stable, open-minded, she has done a great job communicating with business leaders, she is not an ideologue, she takes feedback from Republicans, independents and more."

Are the Dallas Mavericks an NBA team? I never watch NBA games. Seems they do a lot of business in China and they want to keep that gravy train going. But...but...but Kamala says she'll make billionaires pay their fair share. Is Cuban ready to pony up?

Well, certain billionaires (*cough* Elon Musk) will have to pay their "fair share". Others (*cough* Mark Cuban) will be exempted because their motives are pure.

Me, on Harris’s problems w/ working class men of all races on @cnn: “Alot of men think Democrats care more about dudes who want to become women than they do about dudes just wanna be dudes. No amount of hunting cosplay or cringy videos is gonna change it. The bed is made.” pic.twitter.com/X5BW2xJzOj

Spend 3 and a half years demonizing straight working class men and you expect something different? Didn't the recruiting shortfalls forewarn you of this.

This is the game. Currently, if men - more specifically white men, want to regain membership in society, then they can become women. Long term observation of the various sticks and carrots employed by all levels of govt make this case quite clear.

Men also vote less frequently than women historically. I think it will be different this election. It less difficult to be enthusiastic about voting for Trump than it is for Lindsey Graham.
