[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Journalist Megyn Kelly revealed on Monday that she had obtained over 1,000 pages of writings left behind by Nashville Covenant School shooter Audrey Hale,
…more fully Audrey Elizabeth Hale, unhappy former student of the Covenant School and wannabe fake boy, who was shot dead by police fourteen minutes after she started massacring students and staff to actualize her learnt hatred of whites, Christians, and all the usuals…
with the never-before-published pages providing "clear insight into the depraved mind of a killer."
On her morning show, Kelly read out portions of the writing, including a passage written in the one of the final pages before the attack that stated, "I have to kill so I can be remembered in the most horrific way possible that no one will ever forget," with Hale signing off under the name Aiden, Hale's preferred male name.
Kelly said the pages, which her team reviewed over the weekend, "detail a deeply disturbed individual planning meticulously over years to carry out a mass shooting and then kill herself. The killer discusses her autism diagnosis, race, and her desire for 'black love' and acceptance, as well as her hatred of her own whiteness."
Many pages had content that was "sexual in nature," including "frustration with her virginity," and also included information about Hale's guns and training with firearms, as well as references to other school shootings.
Kelly said that Hale referred to the Columbine school shooters as "gods," and the words "dark abyss" frequently pop up in the writings, either directly in the writings or in the margins, alongside "an image resembling a radioactive symbol, the logo created by the killer to represent her all-consuming depression and commitment to gaining notoriety via a mass shooting."

We need to stockpile these reports because the search engines are quickly removing them.
I googled "unemployment reports" a couple of days ago, and any of the sites that gave a positive report on them (in favor of Trump) were *gone* or shoved so far down that the average person wouldn't find them. This report will get the same treatment.
[IsraelTimes] Source close to military leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan say he wanted weapons from Israel to beat rival in civil war, but when they weren’t offered, turned to Tehran instead
Israel is concerned that Abraham Accords partner Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... is growing close to Iran, as it looks for assistance amid the civil war that has roiled the country since 2023, the Kan public broadcaster reported Sunday.
Sudan’s military leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan renewed diplomatic ties with Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... in July 2024, after they were severed in 2016. Since then, Kan reported, al-Burhan has received military assistance from Tehran as his army battles the Rapid Support Forces.
The report asserted that al-Burhan turned to Iran after growing disappointed in Israel’s failure to come to his aid with military support as he had envisioned.
While al-Burhan wasn’t looking specifically for assistance from Tehran, a source close to the Sudanese ruler told Kan that "Sudan is forced to cooperate with any party interested in supplying it with weapons.
"There is currently a great opportunity for anyone who wants to help Sudan, publicly and secretly," the source said, adding that the north African country would have expected to receive such assistance from Israel, as it could have led to "a real breakthrough in relations."
But when the help from Jerusalem never materialized, the source said Sudan "was left without assistance and turned to Iran, which seized the opportunity after Sudan’s friends abandoned it."
"For the sake of Sudan’s interests, we would even make a deal with the devil," the source added.
In December last year, Bloomberg reported that Iran was supplying al-Burhan’s forces with drones. Iran has also supplied drones to Russia amid its invasion of Ukraine.
At the end of March, al-Burhan was able to capture the capital, Khartoum.
Sudan’s cooperation with Iran, which is avowed to Israel’s destruction, has worried Jerusalem, Kan reported without citing sources.
US President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons... , then in his first term, announced in October 2020 that Sudan had agreed to normalize ties with Israel, the third Arab state to join the US-brokered deals begun in August of that year.
Economically crippled Sudan is believed to have agreed to normalization chiefly to enable it to be removed from the US list of state sponsors of terror and receive financial aid, and the country’s economic well-being is seen as critical to the deal’s success.
Iran at the time condemned the development, accusing Sudan of "paying a ransom" to get off the terror list.
The deal with Sudan was also to include aid and investment from Israel, particularly in technology and agriculture, along with further debt relief. At the time, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel would send $5 million worth of wheat to Sudan.
However,
you can observe a lot just by watching... ties did not develop much, and by 2023 Sudan descended into civil war.
The conflict stems from a long-standing power struggle over military control and integration. Fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces began in the capital, Khartoum, and quickly spread across the country. International efforts to broker peace since then have largely failed.
The fighting has created one of the world’s worst humanitarian emergencies. Various foreign players — Chad, Egypt, Iran, Libya, Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... and Russia — have picked a side to support. In addition, Saudi Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula, largely made up of sand and oil rigs. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual haj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Formerly dictatorial and steeped in Olde Tyme Religion, deferring to Salafist holy men on all issues, it has now done a 180 and is making a serious effort to modernize, so as not to be left in the sand by its Gulf Arab neighbors. The holy men have been shoved to the background and the nation is now still dictatorial but somewhat rational. That doesn't make them trustworthy, but it's a start... and the United Arab Emirates are also involved, each backing opposing sides.
[ZeroHedge] New satellite imagery captured over the weekend shows the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier entering the Indian Ocean, signaling Washington's escalating military build-up in the region as part of its war on Yemen and ahead of a possible attack on Iran.
The USS Carl Vinson, a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier named in honor of US Congressman Carl Vinson of Georgia, was originally deployed in the western Pacific. It is now the second US aircraft carrier in West Asia, joining the USS Harry S. Truman.
Last week, the US also deployed a fleet of B-2 Bombers to its base in Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Together, the US carriers and bombers greatly expand the US military's ability to launch air and missile strikes on Iran and Yemen.
The satellite imagery and maritime data showed that the USS Carl Vinson and its strike group transited through the Malacca Straits to reach the Indian Ocean.
The US military has been bombing Yemen since March 15, after the country's Ansarallah-led government announced its intention to resume attacks on Israeli-linked vessels in the Red and Arabian Seas in response to Israel's blockade on Gaza.
The US military's bombing campaign in Yemen has cost nearly $1 billion in under three weeks, according to sources speaking with CNN, who said the campaign had caused a limited impact on the Ansarallah-led Yemeni Armed Forces' (YAF) capabilities.
Yemen, a close ally of Iran, first began attacking Israeli-linked ships and targets in Israel in November 2023 in response to Israel's genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
The US military build-up in West Asia intensified after US President Donald Trump threatened Iran on 30 March with bombing and secondary tariffs if Tehran did not come to an agreement with Washington over its nuclear program. “If they don't make a deal, there will be bombing,” Trump said in a telephone interview. “It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.”
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has also issued warnings to Iran. “Secretary Hegseth continues to make clear that, should Iran or its proxies threaten American personnel and interests in the region, the United States will take decisive action to defend our people,” Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement issued Monday.
Iran has made clear it is not willing to enter direct talks over its nuclear program while US officials threaten military action against it.
However, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated Tehran is open to indirect talks via intermediaries in Oman. Araghchi wrote in a post on X, “Diplomatic engagement worked in the past and can still work. But, it should be clear to all that there is – by definition – no such thing as a ‘military option,’ let alone a ‘military solution.’”
Following Trump's threat, Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the Aerospace Division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), directly threatened US bases in West Asia.
“The Americans have around 10 military bases in the region – at least near Iran – and 50,000 troops,” Hajizadeh told Iranian state TV on Monday. “It's like they're sitting in a glass house. And when you're in a glass house, you don't throw stones at others.”

[REGNUM] The US leadership is looking for quick victories in Yemen – but instead it is running into new grounds for criticism. The dust around Signalgate has not yet settled, and Washington has already “distinguished itself” again in the Yemeni direction.
Only recently, a completely unrelated journalist got into a closed chat of high-ranking American officials, where strikes on the Houthis were discussed, among other things. The data from this chat, which was made public, provoked the first serious crisis in the Trump administration. And now, the other day, Washington tried to “sell” a strike on civilians, who were not connected to Ansar Allah, under the guise of a successful operation against the Houthis.
Such carelessness risks having a serious impact on the United States in the long run, significantly weakening its support among the local population when the Houthis have to be dealt with “on the ground.”
FORMATION OF THE MISSILEMEN
A new scandal has erupted at the instigation of US President Donald Trump.
The American leader posted a video on social media showing an airstrike on a group of people in the province of Hodeida. Citing data from the Central Command, the Republican stated that the target of the strike was a “missile formation” of the pro-Iranian movement Ansar Allah — the strike was carried out at a time when they were allegedly receiving instructions to attack the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman.
"Oops, no attack from those Houthis! Those Houthis won't be able to sink our ships anymore," Trump wrote with his usual sarcasm.
However, it quickly became clear that the picture was not as rosy as the American president presented it.
The first thing that caught my eye was the peculiar location chosen for the secret meeting. The Houthi "rocket men" preferred to gather not in an underground bunker, but in an open area. Moreover, the participants of the meeting did not react to the appearance of American aircraft in the sky, which is why the dropped munition landed right in the center of their meeting.
The formation itself looked strange - in the shape of an oval - while at military parades and other public events, footage of which is abundant on the Internet, the Houthi formations are no different from European ones.
Soon enough, Houthi officials intervened, explaining to the public that the target of the American raid was a routine tribal gathering to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. Such open-air gatherings are quite common in Yemen, and it is not customary to bring weapons (except for the traditional jambiya belt dagger). Ansar Allah spokesmen were quick to take a jab at Washington, calling attempts to pass off the peaceful gathering as a military council “a lack of quality intelligence.”
The Houthis' statement could well have been taken as an attempt to hide losses, if the information they later voiced (albeit without much publicity) had not been confirmed to the Pentagon by Saudi and Emirati experts - who certainly cannot be accused of loyalty to pro-Iranian forces.
As a result, the US – perhaps without realizing it – gave Ansar Allah a powerful information trump card.
DEAD SOULS
It is worth saying that this is not the first time that the US has been passing off wishful thinking as reality in Yemen, presenting each subsequent raid as the “last hunt” for the top officials of Ansar Allah.
An example of this is the massive strikes on the provinces of Sanaa and Hodeida in mid-March 2025, which allegedly killed the Houthis' "chief missileman." The Pentagon never provided his name or any other identification data. And then they decided to hush up the topic without further comment. In a similar way, the White House reported in early April on the death of "several Houthi leaders" - this information was also not confirmed.
Moreover, for every “field commander” eliminated, there are usually several dozen civilians killed.
Washington ignores collateral damage, considering it inevitable (and, given the goals of the operation, even acceptable), but this approach does not benefit contacts with the local population.
First of all, because not all Yemeni clans living in the territories controlled by Ansar Allah are under their direct influence. The tribe, whose meeting the Americans tried to pass off as a "missile formation", maintained neutrality for a long time, but after the American raid, announced the conclusion of a military alliance with the Houthis and joining their banners.
Other sheikhs are now looking at Washington and its loyal forces with suspicion - no one can guarantee that their fellow tribesmen will not be the next target of American aviation.
Such seemingly insignificant shifts in US perceptions in Yemen could result in a large-scale guerrilla campaign against the anti-Houthi coalition, especially if Washington decides to conduct a ground campaign, which is inevitable, as more and more hawks in Trump’s circle insist.
ISSUE AN INVOICE
Amid the growing scandals, the voices of skeptics – especially from the Democratic wing – are becoming increasingly vocal. Not only in the Senate and Congress, but also in the Pentagon and even the White House, they are declaring that the “Yemen blitzkrieg” that Trump was counting on has failed.
The operation has been protracted and has so far demonstrated very modest results, damaging the image of the American leadership.
Moreover, the cost of the operation is growing by leaps and bounds – according to estimates published by American media, in less than a month the US has spent about $1 billion on the campaign against the Houthis, thereby exhausting its “internal credit” for pacifying Iranian proxies.
This, in turn, will force the Pentagon to ask Congress for additional funding, something the Republican's opponents will not fail to take advantage of.
Moreover, even the use of advanced strike weapons, be it Northrop B-2 Spirit strategic bombers, bunker busters, or other precision-guided munitions, cannot turn the tide in Washington’s favor.
The Houthis not only maintain high combat capability, continuing to threaten the American fleet in the Red Sea, but also manage to periodically “blind” aerial reconnaissance: the number of MQ-9 reconnaissance drones shot down by Ansar Allah is approaching two dozen.
The Trump administration, apparently, has not yet figured out how to break out of the impasse, and therefore continues to rain threats on Ansar Allah, promising to switch to a “round-the-clock” bombing regime and “raze to the ground” all Houthi fortifications.
However, given the lack of adequate intelligence, even with this approach the US will hardly be able to reach the movement’s leadership.

"The US leadership is looking for quick victories in Yemen – but instead it is running into new grounds for criticism..." That is one way of looking at it. On the other hand if the US does nothing, OR any action at all, there is heckling from the peanut gallery.

The problem does not have a quick solution. Besides nuking Iran, I mean. Iran will continue feeding war stuff to the Houthis who will fire it off as we continue to blow up said stuff & Houthis. It is a process.

[KavkazUzel] Rosobrnadzor has terminated the license of the Imam Shamil Islamic Institute,
…named for the leader of the North Caucasian anti-Russian resistance in the 1800s, the third Imam of the Caucasian Imamate, and Sufi sheikh…
which has been operating in Dagestan since 1994.
The department announced the termination of the institute’s license today.
The license for educational activities issued to the UHPE (DOU) RO "Imam Shamil Islamic Institute" has been terminated in accordance with the law "On licensing certain types of activities", according to a message on the Rosobrnadzor website.
The agency does not provide specific reasons for which it was decided to terminate the license of this educational institution. The aforementioned law provides for a number of grounds for terminating a license, including violations of licensing requirements and the absence of an application for periodic confirmation of the license. Rosobrnadzor has not previously reported warnings to the Imam Shamil Islamic Institute.
The Imam Shamil Islamic Institute is located in Kizilyurt and was established in 1994 on the basis of the Moscow Higher Spiritual Islamic College, founded that same year under the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the European Part of Russia, according to information on the institution's website. The institute had a perpetual license from Rosobrnadzor since 2014 and trained bachelors in the field of "Theology".
The rector of the Imam Shamil Islamic Institute in Kizilyurt, Abdurakhman Shamsudinov, died in May 2020, RIA Dagestan reported. According to the Rusprofile counterparty verification service, since August 2020, the rector has been listed as Shamsudinov Sadam-Khusen Abdurakhmanovich.
There is no information about the institute's current activities in public sources: the class schedule posted on the website has not been updated since 2020, and the last publications on the university's Facebook* and Instagram* pages were published in January and February 2022, respectively.
[IsraelTimes] The Dutch government says it had tightened export controls for all military and “dual use” goods destined for Israel.
All direct exports and the transit of these goods to Israel will be checked to see if they comply with European regulations, and will no longer be covered by general export licenses, the government says in a letter to parliament.
“This is desirable considering the security situation in Israel, the Palestinian territories and the wider region,” foreign minister Caspar Veldkamp and trade minister Reinette Klever write.
“Exporters will still be able to request permits, that will then be checked against European regulations.”
The government says no military goods for Israel had been exported from the Netherlands under a general permit since the start of the war in Gaza that began after Hamas’s October 7, 2023, onslaught.
It said that the general license for the export of “low risk information security goods,” such as routers for network security, was frequently used for export to Israel.
It estimated that between 50 and 100 permits for the export of those goods would now have to be requested on an individual basis.
A Dutch court last year ordered the government to block all exports of F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel over concerns they were being used to violate international law during the war in Gaza. Israel denies violating international law.
They mistakenly believed the equality they experienced on the internet translated to the workplace. Now they know better.
[IsraelTimes] Microsoft tells first employee who interrupted 50th anniversary celebration her actions were designed to ‘gain notoriety’; second protester, who already resigned, sacked right away
Microsoft has fired two employees who interrupted the company’s 50th-anniversary celebration to protest its work supplying artificial intelligence technology to the Israeli military, according to a group representing the workers.
Microsoft accused one of the workers in a termination letter Monday of misconduct "designed to gain notoriety and cause maximum disruption to this highly anticipated event." Microsoft says the other worker had already announced her resignation, but on Monday it ordered her to leave five days early.
The protests began Friday when Microsoft software engineer Ibtihal Aboussad walked up toward a stage where an executive was announcing new product features and a long-term vision for Microsoft’s AI ambitions.
"You claim that you care about using AI for good but Microsoft sells AI weapons to the Israeli military," Aboussad shouted at Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman. "Fifty-thousand people have died and Microsoft powers this genocide in our region," she said, referencing the corpse count in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. The war erupted when Hamas-led bandidosturbans rampaged through southern Israel, murdering some 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages to Gaza.
The protest forced Suleyman to pause his talk while it was being live-streamed from Microsoft’s campus in Redmond, Washington. Among the participants at the 50th anniversary of Microsoft’s founding were co-founder Bill Gates and former CEO Steve Ballmer.
Microsoft said Suleyman calmly tried to de-escalate the situation. "Thank you for your protest, I hear you," he said. Aboussad continued, shouting that Suleyman and "all of Microsoft" had blood on their hands. She also threw onto the stage a keffiyeh scarf, which has become a symbol of support for Paleostinian people, before being escorted out of the event.
A second protester, Microsoft employee Vaniya Agrawal, interrupted a later part of the event.
Aboussad, based at Microsoft’s Canadian headquarters in Toronto, was invited on Monday to a call with a human resources representative at which she was told she was being fired immediately, according to the advocacy group No Azure for Apartheid, which has protested the sale of Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform to Israel.
An investigation by The News Agency that Dare Not be Named claimed earlier this year that AI models from Microsoft and OpenAI had been used as part of an Israeli military program to select bombing targets during the wars against terror groups in Gaza and Leb ...The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... In its termination letter, Microsoft told Aboussad she could have raised her concerns confidentially to a manager. Instead, it said she made "hostile, unprovoked, and highly inappropriate accusations" against Suleyman and the company and that her "conduct was so aggressive and disruptive that you had to be escorted out of the room by security."
Agrawal had already given her two weeks notice and was preparing to leave the company on April 11, but on Monday a manager emailed that Microsoft "has decided to make your resignation immediately effective today."
It was the most public but not the first protest over Microsoft’s work with Israel. In February, five Microsoft employees were ejected from a meeting with CEO Satya Nadella for protesting the contracts.
"We provide many avenues for all voices to be heard," said a statement from the company Friday. "Importantly, we ask that this be done in a way that does not cause a business disruption. If that happens, we ask participants to relocate. We are committed to ensuring our business practices uphold the highest standards."
Microsoft had declined to say Friday whether it was taking further action, but Aboussad and Agrawal expected it was coming after both lost access to their work accounts shortly after the protest.
Dozens of Google workers were fired last year after internal protests over a contract it also has with the Israeli government. Employee sit-ins at Google offices in New York and Sunnyvale, Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, targeted a $1.2 billion deal known as Project Nimbus providing AI technology to the Israeli government.
The Google workers later filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board in an attempt to get their jobs back.

The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... infrastructure projects to help Paleostinian Lions of Islam build their terror tunnel network.
According to a lawsuit filed on Monday on behalf of American October 7 massacre victims by law firms Osen LLC, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Stein Mitchell Beato & Missner LLP, and Motley Rice LLC, in 2021, Masri allegedly rebuilt the Gaza Industrial Estate (GIE), a 480,000 square meter industrial park that had been established in 1997 with support from USAID, turning it into a hub of Hamas ..one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,... operations including for the terrorist tunnel network, which was used to cross under the border to attack Israelis.
"Above ground, the GIE was a showcase for legitimate businesses like Coca-Cola and a variety of light manufacturing companies," the suit stated. "But beneath the surface, Masri and the companies he controls worked with Hamas to construct and conceal an elaborate subterranean attack tunnel network which Hamas used to burrow under the border into Israel, to attack nearby Israeli communities, and to ambush Israeli military personnel. Hamas also used the GIE to probe the border fence and test the IDF's response times and countermeasures in the lead up to the October 7 Attack."
The lawsuit claimed that Masri in May 2022 "personally presided over the signing of a joint venture agreement with Hamas to rebuild parts of the GIE," with Hamas manufacturing division commander and economy minister Abd al-Fattah al-Zari'I, who was killed in an Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... in August for his role in organizing terrorist operations and seizing humanitarian aid, attending the signing representing Hamas.
The plaintiffs were around 200 American victims of the October 7 attack and their family members, including the families of slain hostages Hersh Goldberg-Polin and Itay Chen, and Yechiel Leiter, Israel’s ambassador to the US, whose son was killed in Gaza in November 2023.
The lawsuit did not say that Masri knew about the October 7 attack, but it did assert that he was aware that Hamas was using his properties for military purposes.
The lawsuit said that Masri held longtime animosity toward Israel, including by helping plan the First Intifada. He sought to remake himself as a businessperson after moving to the US and investing in development projects in Palestinian areas, but continued “conspiring with Hamas” to build infrastructure used in the October 7 attack and provided cover for the terror group’s “true violent aims,” the lawsuit said. Masri used his image to solicit investments from US institutions, the World Bank, the United Nations and the European Union, it alleged.
Some of Masri’s development projects appeared to be legitimate, but were also used to build and hide Hamas tunnels, store rockets, host Hamas leaders, train Hamas operatives, and produce electricity for Hamas tunnels, the case said.
The lawsuit focused on the Gaza Industrial Estate, a 480,000-square-meter industrial park across the border from Kibbutz Nahal Oz, one of the hardest-hit communities in the October 7 attack. Masri regularly visited the property after it housed Hamas tunnels and weaponry. Masri’s companies later condemned Israel for striking the properties, despite knowing they were used by Hamas, the lawsuit said.
Masri also oversaw two luxury hotels in Gaza that Hamas, including its late chief Yahya Sinwar, used to host events. The terror group’s tunnels ran underneath, and were connected to, the hotels, the suit said. One of the hotels, the Blue Beach, was allegedly connected by tunnel to a Hamas training facility. The terror group used the hotels as a base of operations and to ambush IDF troops, the lawsuit said.

[ZeroHedge] The days of the Catholic Church receiving billions from U.S. taxpayers appear to be over. Earlier this year, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) cut funding to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). On Monday, the non-governmental organization (NGO)—which has been highly sympathetic to nation-killing policies promoted by the rudderless Democratic Party, including open borders on both the southern and northern fronts—announced that its partnerships with the federal government to provide refugee support services have ended.
AP News reported that the USCCB's move to end its 50 years of partnerships with the federal government to serve refugees comes after USAID slashed funding for refugee resettlement programs.
"As a national effort, we simply cannot sustain the work on our own at current levels or in current form," stated USCCB President Archbishop Timothy Broglio, adding, "We will work to identify alternative means of support for the people the federal government has already admitted to these programs. We ask your prayers for the many staff and refugees impacted."
USCCB does not plan to revive existing federal government agreements for refugee resettlement programs.
The NGO sued the Trump administration earlier this year, claiming the president's order that suspended refugee grants was illegal and asked for millions in what it claimed was owed to Catholic charities. However, a federal judge denied USCCB's request.
In late January, Vice President JD Vance told Margaret Brennan of CBS's Face Nation, "I believe the US Conference of Catholic Bishops — if they're worried about the humanitarian costs of immigration enforcement, let them talk about the children who have been sex trafficked because of the wide open border."
Catholic charities received taxpayer monies through grants from USAID, the Department of Health and Human Services, and other agencies, totaling billions.
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has awarded Philadelphia's al-Aqsa Islamic Society a $5 million grant from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, marking the largest grant under the program awarded to a Moslem organization to date.
According to WHYY, Shapiro announced the grant at an iftar dinner on March 25 at the organization, telling a few dozen community members that organizations such as al-Aqsa "are more important than ever before" as "we're facing tumult overseas, and we're facing a lot of rising hate here at home."
Shapiro said, "So I'm really proud that we've been able to work together with your leaders here to invest $5 million in making this place an even greater center of activity in the community."
Chairman of the board of al-Aqsa Islamic Society Asif Hussain said that one goal for the funds is to expand the center's school. The group is looking to add classrooms and teachers to meet local demand, and increase attendance from 300 to 3,000.
Hussain said, "The idea is to have an academic center of excellence at school. We have a school that's K-12. It is very, very small and we have more candidates and more students than we have classrooms. So the idea would be to expand the facility and actually develop it into a full-fledged academic program."
Al-Aqsa Academy was established in 1996 and is a private Islamic day and weekend school that blends the standards kindergarten through 12th-grade curriculum with Koran classes, Islamic studies, and Arabic language coursework.
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] The US Supreme Court has paused a lower court judge's ruling that ordered the Trump administration to return by the end of the day Monday a man who had been deported to El Salvador.
Chief Justice John Roberts paused the order from US District Judge Paula Xinis requiring that Kilmar Abrego Garcia be returned to the US. Xinis' order came in response to a lawsuit filed by the man and his family.
"IT IS ORDERED that the April 4, 2025 order of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, case No. 8:25-cv-951, is hereby stayed pending further order of the undersigned or of the Court. It is further ordered that a response to the application be filed on or before Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, by 5 p.m. (EDT)," the order stated.
Xinis ordered that Abrego Garcia be returned to the US by 11:59 pm on Monday after he was deported on March 15 aboard deportation flights to El Salvador. In a filing to the Supreme Court, the DOJ said he was removed to El Salvador through "administrative error," though his removal from the US "was not an error," per Rooters.
Abrego Garcia had received a deportation protection order in 2019. The DOJ said that he was a member of the violent mostly peaceful MS-13 gang and was no longer eligible for such protections. Abrego Garcia's lawyers have denied the allegation that he is a gang member.
Xinis found that the 2019 order was still in place, and wrote in her Sunday decision, "there were no legal grounds whatsoever for his arrest, detention or removal." She said the removal of Abrego Garcia was "wholly lawless."
In a filing to the Supreme Court, the Department of Justice said, "The United States cannot guarantee success in sensitive international negotiations in advance, least of all when a court imposes an absurdly compressed, mandatory deadline that vastly complicates the give-and-take of foreign-relations negotiations."
"The United States does not control the sovereign nation of El Salvador, nor can it compel El Salvador to follow a federal judge's bidding."

"This unacceptable conduct first and foremost dishonors the memory of the victims, and reveals a fundamental misunderstanding of the histories of both the Rwandan and Jewish peoples," continues the Foreign Ministry.
Neguise, a former Likud politician, has served as ambassador to Æthiopia since August 2024. He attended the annual conference, entitled "Commemoration of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda," at the Nelson Mandela Hall at the African Union Headquarters in the country’s capital.

Many commanders have also stepped up their security measures in that time, changing their mobile phones, vehicles, and abodes more frequently, they said.
The US State Department said it continued to urge Baghdad to rein in the militias. "These forces must respond to Iraq’s commander-in-chief and not to Iran," it added.
An American official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, cautioned that there had been instances in the past when the militias had ceased their attacks because of US pressure, and was skeptical that any disarmament would be long-term.
The IRGC declined to comment on this article, while the Iranian and Israeli foreign ministries didn’t respond to queries.

Shahbndar, the Shiite politician, said the Iraqi government had not yet finalized a deal with bully boy leaders, with a disarmament mechanism still under discussion.
Options being considered include turning the groups into political parties and integrating them into the Iraqi armed forces, he added.
While the fate of any disarmament process remains uncertain, the discussions nonetheless mark the first time the militias have been prepared to give ground to longstanding Western pressure to demilitarize.
The shift comes at a precarious time for Tehran’s regional "Axis of Resistance®," which it has established at great cost over decades to oppose Israel and US influence, but has seen severely weakened since Paleostinian terror group Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, tipped the Middle East into conflict.

"I walked through the city today and couldn’t find a single place that was open," Fadi Saadi, a shopkeeper in Bethlehem, tells AFP.
Shops, schools, and most public administrative offices are closed across the West Bank.
A coalition of Paleostinian political movements — including rivals Fatah and Hamas — called the strike to protest what they described as "the genocide and the ongoing massacre of our people."
It called for the strike "in all the occupied Paleostinian territories, in the refugee camps... and among those who support our cause."
"We close today because of our families in Gaza, our children in Gaza," Imad Salman, 68, who owns a souvenir shop in Jerusalem’s Old City, says.
"In Jerusalem, in the West Bank, we can’t do anything more than we’re doing here now," he tells AFP.
In East Jerusalem, the usually bustling commercial Salaheddin Street is empty.

[Breitbart] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday he would end tariffs on U.S. goods as President Donald Trump’s reciprocal tariffs are set to take effect on Wednesday.
Netanyahu announced during an Oval Office press conference alongside Trump that Israel will end the “trade deficit with the United States” rapidly.
“I can tell you that I said to the President a very simple thing: We will eliminate the trade deficit with the United States. We intend to do it very quickly,” Netanyahu told reporters.
“We think it’s the right thing to do, and we’re going to also eliminate trade barriers, a variety of trade barriers that have been put up unnecessarily. And I think Israel can serve as a model for many countries who ought to do the same,” he added.
Netanyahu also expressed empathy for Trump’s stance on trade imbalances:
I recognize the position of the United States. It says, ‘You know, we are allowing other countries to put tariffs on us, but we don’t put tariffs on them.’ And, you know, I’m a free trade champion, and free trade has to be fair trade. And I think that’s basically the position that you have put forward, Mr. President.
Netanyahu also noted that he spoke with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Sunday about effecting this change in tariff policy quickly.

[Regnum] Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz accused the Iranian authorities of directly financing the radical Palestinian movement Hamas. This was reported on April 6 by the press service of the Defense Ministry.
Katz said that on April 6 he visited the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) "intelligence unit" created after the conflict escalated on October 7, 2023.
"I was presented with a secret document found in the tunnels of Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip. It proves direct links between Iran and Hamas leaders, as well as Iran's support for Hamas' plan to destroy Israel and the October 7 attack," Katz said.
According to the Israeli Defense Minister, in the document that was found, Hamas demands $500 million from the elite Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, the elite unit of the Iranian Armed Forces) to finance the destruction of Israel. In addition, Katz claims that the head of the Palestinian branch of the IRGC, Saeed Izadi, responded to the request and assured that Iran would continue to invest in Hamas, despite its difficult economic situation. The minister specified that Hamas received the requested funds.
According to Katz, this episode proves that “Iran is the head of the snake.” The head of the Israeli Defense Ministry assured that the country will do everything to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and will continue to strike its “terrorist satellites” until “the Iranian axis of evil collapses.”
Earlier, Regnum reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered Defense Minister Katz to give a tough response to the rocket fire from Gaza. In turn, the head of the Defense Ministry ordered the continuation and expansion of the military operation against Hamas in Gaza.
On April 4, the IDF launched a ground military operation in the Ash-Shujaiya area in the eastern Gaza City in the northern part of the eponymous sector. It was specified that such a decision was made to "expand the security zone."
Earlier, on March 31, the UN accused the Israeli army of killing 15 medical workers and rescuers in the Gaza Strip. They were then buried in a mass grave in southern Gaza, and their ambulances and a UN mission vehicle were covered with sand using a bulldozer. The body of one of the doctors was found with his hands tied.
On April 4, Dmitry Polyansky, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, said that he was shocked by the news of the discovery of mass graves of humanitarian workers in the Gaza Strip. The Russian diplomat emphasized that at least 408 humanitarian workers have died in the Palestinian enclave since October 2023.
