Ismatullah Muavia sending terrorists to Afghanistan and Kashmir: Nabil
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The former General Director of the Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security (NDS), Rahmatullah Nabil, claims that the Ismatullah Mauvia, is sending terrorist to Afghanistan and Kashmir to wage war under the guise of Jihad besides hatching plots to assassinate the leaders of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement.

Nabil issued a statement on his official Twitter account, claiming that Muavia has returned to North Waziristan to resume his terrorist related operations.

“Ismatullah Muavia is leading a terrorist group, was based in NorthWaziristan & during the ZarbeAzab oper’s has moved by MI/ISI to Vehari District Punjab. He is moved back to Waziristain& sending terrorist to AFG & Kashmir & planning assassination of PTM leaders & call it Jihad!,” Nabil said.

This comes as Nabil released classified documents to confirm the allegation regarding the support of Pakistan to the Afghan militant groups, specifically the notorious Haqqani terrorist network.

The six documents released by Nabil in mid-July included formal letters by Pakistani military and the military intelligence of the country, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

Nabil had said the Haqqani network not only remained intact from Zarb-e-Azb operations but the Pakistani military shifted the network’s fighters, families, weapons and other equipment to safe places.

He also added that the Afghan and American intelligence agencies were undoubtedly aware of the move and National Directorate of Security has hundreds of classified documents of the Pakistani military regarding its support to Afghan militants.

In the meantime, the Pakistani military officials admitted that some residuals of the notorious Haqqani terrorist network still remain in Pakistan as the Afghan and US officials emphasize that the terror group’s leadership councils are based in the key cities of Pakistan, including Quetta city.

Addressing accusations of harbouring the Haqqani network on the Pakistan side, the Pakistani Military spokesman Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor conceded today that some residual strength may still remain in Pakistan, according to Dawn News.

UAE is funding campaigns to select pro-Haftar candidates for Libya 2018 elections
[Libya Observer] The United Arab Emirates is putting crazy money on the table and for one goal only: funding campaigns for elections candidates in Libya who are pro-Khalifa Haftar
...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all...
, The New Arab reported, citing Libyan sources.

UAE has held many meetings in Cairo, Tunisia, and Amman for the sake of picking the names to run for the elections in Libya with one common thread among all the names, loyalty to Khalifa Haftar, the website reported.

It revealed that the names include former Libya ambassador in the UAE, Area al-Nayed, Libyan ambassador in La Belle France al-Shibani Buhamoud, the nominee of the House of Representatives to head National Oil Corporation in Libya, Edris al-Maghrabi.

This isn't the first time the name Aref al-Nayed is pronounced publicly as regards the upcoming elections in Libya.

In an interview with Egyptian newspaper Youm7 in Dubai last March, al-Nayed said he was preparing an election campaign in cooperation with teamwork of young people to get Libya out of its crisis.

Al-Nayed now owns a Libyan TV channel "Libya's Channel" which is funded by the UAE.

"There are five lists that are being funded by the UAE, each list has four candidates who are loyal to Haftar." The New Arab added.

It also cited the sources as saying that Haftar himself won't run for president of Libya.

Libyan stakeholders, in the presence of al-Nayed, agreed to go for elections on December 10, 2018 in the international conference hosted in Gay Paree by French President Emmanuel Macron on May 29.

Arabia
US mulls expanding military intervention in Yemen
[PRESSTV] The United States is considering a request from the UAE to provide direct support for an attack to seize the Houthi-held port of Hudaydah, a major lifeline for Yemen, officials say.

US officials said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has asked for a prompt assessment of the UAE’s appeal for assistance such as surveillance drone flights to help a Saudi-led coalition capture Hudaydah.

The debate over increasing US support to the UAE and Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
comes amid escalating military operations around the Yemeni port despite UN warnings of catastrophic effects on the impoverished country.

Eighty percent of commercial and humanitarian supplies flow through Hudaydah, a central gateway. Since May 27, forces supported by Saudi Arabia have been closing in on the port, claiming that Yemen’s Ansarullah movement uses it for weapons delivery.

American officials say the UAE and Saudi Arabia have assured Washington that they won’t attempt to take the Red Sea port until they get support from the US.

"We continue to have a lot of concerns about a Hudaydah operation," said one senior US official, quoted by The Wall Street Journal.

"We are not 100% comfortable that, even if the coalition did launch an attack, that they would be able to do it cleanly and avoid a catastrophic incident," the official added.

i official said on Sunday his country will not be dragged into any conflict with Iran.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Khalid Al Attiyah told an international security conference in Singapore that Qatar has "a lot of differences" with Iran but it does not mean "we go and fuel a war" in the region.

"Is it wise to call the United States and to call Israel to go and fight Iran? ... Whether any third party is trying to push the region or some country in the region to start a war in Iran, this will be very dangerous," he said.

He did not name any party but could be referring to Iran’s rival Soddy Arabia

, which has also led a blockade of Qatar with its Persian Gulf allies since June last year, accusing Doha of supporting snuffies and refusing to cut ties with Tehran.

"Iran is next door. We should call Iran, put all the files on the table and start to discuss to bring peace rather than war," he said in a speech.

Responding to a question whether Qatar’s air bases could be used to launch air strikes on Iran, al-Attiyah said that his country was not a "fan of war" and supported engagement and dialogue.

China-Japan-Koreas
Syria's Assad to Meet Kim in North Korea
[AnNahar] Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Terror of Aleppo ...
said he plans to visit North Korea's leader Kim Pudge Jong-un
...the overweight, pouty-looking hereditary potentate of North Korea. Pudge appears to believe in his own divinity, but has yet to produce any loaves and fishes, so his subjects remain malnourished...
, Pyongyang's state media reported Sunday, potentially becoming the first head of state to meet Kim inside the isolated country.

"I am going to visit the DPRK and meet... Kim Jong-un," Assad said, the North's state-run KCNA news agency reported, using the abbreviated version of the country's official name.

The announcement came as anticipation mounts for a historic nuclear summit between Kim and US President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
in Singapore on June 12, following a whirlwind round of diplomacy.

"The world welcomes the remarkable events in the Korean peninsula brought about recently by the outstanding political calibre and wise leadership of... Kim Jong-un," KCNA cited Assad as saying during a meeting with North Korean Ambassador Mun Jong Nam on Wednesday.

The Syrian president's office refused to comment on the report when contacted by AFP.

Pyongyang and Damascus have maintained warm ties for decades and reportedly shared a military relationship for some years, including during the ongoing Syrian civil war.

Suspicions over chemical weapons trade between Pyongyang and Damascus have been raised in the past by the UN and South Korea.

There were also widespread reports that North Korea helped Syria build a nuclear plant that was destroyed by Israeli bombing in 2007.

Both regimes have been the target of international isolation -- Pyongyang over its banned nuclear programme and Damascus for atrocities committed during the seven-year civil war.

Since coming to power in 2011, Kim has not met another head of state in North Korea. He only made his first overseas trip as leader this year, travelling to China to meet President Xi Jinping, an ally of the reclusive regime.

Pak military concedes that Haqqani Network residuals still remain in Pakistan
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Pak military officials admitted that some residuals of the notorious Haqqani terrorist network still remain in Pakistain as the Afghan and US officials emphasize that the terror group’s leadership councils are based in the key cities of Pakistain, including Quetta city.

he claimed that no ’stable’ network of the Haqqani terrorist network existed in Pakistain.

In the meantime, the Pak military front man emphasized on the repatriation of the Afghan refugees as a prerequisite to act against the terror group, a claim which the Pak officials have repeatedly made under the growing pressures regarding the presence of the Taliban

and Haqqani network leadership councils in the country.

He reiterated that the military desires respectable repatriation of Afghan refugees from Pakistain, "after which the army can target all remaining terrorist networks".

This comes as the Afghan and US officials have long been insisting that the leadership councils of the Taliban and the notorious Haqqani terrorist network are based in Pakistain from where they plan and coordinate deadly attacks in Afghanistan.

"It is not a matter of operation, but a matter of timing. Qandil is no longer a faraway goal for us," Soylu stated.

The main base of the PKK, designated as a terrorist organization in Turkey, is reportedly located in the Qandil Mountains, an Iraqi mountainous area near the Iranian border.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Yoav Galant: non-lethal weapons cannot stop crowds from breaching border
[IsraelTimes] A top cabinet minister on Monday rejected international criticism of Israel’s open-fire policies along the Gazoo border, saying the comparatively high number of Paleostinian casualties does not reflect the true story.

Speaking to foreign news hounds a day before another expected outburst of violence, Yoav Galant accused Gazoo’s Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, rulers of cynically exploiting their own repressed population to score points against Israel, and urged the world not to "calculate who is right and who is wrong by the numbers of the casualties."

Galant said Israel’s policy has been to aim at demonstrators’ legs and try to minimize casualties. But he said non-lethal means, such as rubber-coated bullets, have proven ineffective at stopping crowds from trying to break through the border fence.
The Islamic terror group has been orchestrating weekly demonstrations along the Israeli border. More than 115 Paleostinians have been killed by Israeli army fire since late March, the majority of them members of terror groups, according to Israel and Gazook sources. Over half were killed on a single day.

"In the Second World War, 7.5 million Germans were killed and only 500,000 British. So who was the aggressor, the Germans or the British?" he asked. "The issue is not the numbers. The issue is who is doing what."

Israel has come under heavy international criticism for shooting some unarmed protesters, with rights groups accusing the military of acting illegally by using deadly force from a distance when soldiers’ lives are not immediately threatened. Hundreds of people have been maimed by live fire.

Galant, a former IDF general who once commanded the Gazoo region and a current member of the inner security cabinet, said Israel’s policy has been to aim at demonstrators’ legs and try to minimize casualties. But he said non-lethal means, such as rubber-coated bullets, have proven ineffective at stopping crowds from trying to break through the border fence.

He acknowledged that "mistakes" happen due to the uneven terrain and crowded demonstrations. Unarmed journalists, paramedics, minors and two women have been among the dead. Protesters often set tires on fire to make it difficult for Israeli snipers to see.

French carmaker PSA to exit Iran over US sanction risk
[IsraelTimes] Maker of Peugeot and Citroen cars says sales to Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
make up less than 1% and company is keen to reenter American market

French automaker PSA said Monday that it would pull out of two joint ventures to sell its cars in Iran to avoid the risk of US sanctions, after Washington withdrew from a key nuclear deal with Tehran.

"The group has begun to suspend its joint venture activities, in order to comply with US law by August 6, 2018," the maker of Peugeot and Citroen cars said in a statement.

European officials have vowed to try to shield their companies working in Iran from the reach of punishing US sanctions that are set to come into effect by November. But with US President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
showing little inclination to spare EU companies, they must decide whether to continue to work in Iran if doing so puts their US operations at risk of huge fines.

PSA, Europe’s second-biggest carmaker, signed deals with two Iranian automakers, Iran Khodro and Saipa, in 2016, after sanctions were lifted following the landmark 2015 accord aimed at preventing Tehran from developing nuclear weapons. It was among several companies that rushed into Iran, hoping to meet pent-up demand in a country that had been squeezed by sanctions for years.

Last year, PSA sold nearly 445,000 vehicles in Iran, making the country one of its biggest markets outside La Belle France.

Although it has been absent from the US market since 1991, the company said in January that it was hoping to launch a car-sharing service in one or two American cities.

But PSA, which also owns the Opel and Vauxhall brands, also noted that Iran sales still make up less than one percent of its total sales, and so exiting the country would not alter its financial guidance.

"With the support of the French government, the Groupe PSA is engaging with the US authorities to consider a waiver," it said.

Yet the CEO of French oil giant Total, who was hoping to launch a major natural gas project in Iran, said last week that the chances of winning exemptions to the US sanctions were "very slim."

Syrian tribes announce 'resistance' against foreign troops, support Assad
[PRESSTV] More than 70 tribes in Syria have reiterated support for Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Horror of Homs...
and announced the creation of a "resistance" front against the American, French, and Ottoman Turkish presence on Syrian soil.

The heads of the tribes gathered in Dayr Hafer near Aleppo on Saturday for what they called "Syrian tribes against foreign intervention and the American presence on Syrian soil," Agence La Belle France-Presse reported.

They mostly hailed from the Syrian provinces of Hasakah, Aleppo, and Raqqah, reasserting their commitment to the Syrian state, territorial integrity, and flag and pledging to form a joint force to expel foreign troops and bully boys.

"The tribal leaders announced the formation of a popular resistance unit that will fight alongside the Syrian Arab Army in a bid to liberate all Syrian lands and expel all foreign forces in Syria," pan-Arab online newspaper al-Masdar News reported.

The new force, it said, will "make a direct move against" the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and US troops in eastern Syria.

"Given the size of these tribes, they could present a serious problem for the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northern Syria if they receive military assistance from the Syrian Arab Army," the newspaper wrote.

Facebook left harrowing Islamic State videos on site for three years despite claiming to have cracked down on hate content
[DailyMail] Facebook left horrific Islamic State videos on its site for three years, the Daily Mail can reveal.

Despite repeated criticism of the social media giant for failing to protect users, the infamous Cubs Of The Caliphate film posted in March 2015 was one of several that could still be viewed until last week.

Facebook claims to have cracked down on hate content but the video and other sickening IS propaganda was not removed until a detailed complaint from the Mail. Thousands of users have watched the video, which shows a young boy ‐ pictured ‐ shooting dead a teenage hostage.

Other IS material which was on Facebook for over two years includes masked terrorists carrying out mass beheadings of Christians and knifemen warning: ’You will not have safety, even in your dreams, until you embrace Islam.’

A bomb tutorial used by Manchester Arena bomber Salman Abedi was repeatedly uploaded.

Experts fear there is a deliberate attempt to use Facebook to target potential British jihadi recruits. Former UK counter-terrorism chief Sir Ivor Roberts said the failure to take down the videos was ’chilling and inexcusable’.

He called on the Home Secretary to take urgent action and suggested that a major factor is Facebook’s refusal to use technology that prevents extremist videos from being reposted repeatedly.

Despite an avalanche of criticism over its alleged failure to protect users, Facebook has recently trumpeted its ’significant strides’ in finding and removing large amounts of Islamist propaganda. It insists the ’vast majority’ of terrorist propaganda is removed automatically, without the need for someone to report it first.

But last month the Mail found it easy to access a string of horrific videos, including the one in which a boy, aged around ten, executes a 19-year-old Israeli-Arab accused of being a Mossad agent.

A 29-minute video showing the shooting and beheading of Christians by an IS affiliate in Libya had been on Facebook since April 2015.

Sir Ivor, former head of counter-terrorism at the Foreign Office and now an adviser to the Counter Extremism Project, said: ’Facebook’s recent series of apologies and assurances that they will take action to protect their users is clearly fake news.

’The existence of this video on Facebook for three years proves that they are not doing all they can to protect users and prevent them from viewing extremist content.

’This is just one of a large number of videos researchers at the Counter Extremism Project have identified.

’It is well known that IS specifically targets Britain for potential recruits. It is chilling and inexcusable that whatever Facebook is saying publicly, our research shows that extremists in this country can still be radicalised in that way.

’Self-regulation does not work and the UK’s new Home Secretary Sajid Javid must stand strong and impose regulations on these companies.’

Facebook has said new methods were quickly detecting and removing such propaganda.

It removed nearly 1.9million terror-related items in the first three months of this year. But the company, which is worth billions, employs only 200 staff to weed out such material.

A Facebook spokesman said: ’We work aggressively to make Facebook a hostile place for terrorists and to combat extremism on the platform. The videos reported to us by the Daily Mail have been removed.’

#3  'Hate' is a term that is used to manipulate the audience by obfuscating the issues. Here 'hate' is used euphemistically.

The correct term would be something like 'propaganda that is supposed to intimidate on behalf of a totalitarian, theocratic Sunni-Islamic political movement.'
