Flight From Pakistan Takes 181 Afghans to the Netherlands
[KhaamaPress] The Dutch government announced Wednesday that a group of 181 Afghans had flown to safety following the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
’s takeover of Afghanistan last year. They landed in the Netherlands on a chartered flight from Pakistain, according to Dutch media.

Most of the immigrants colonists who reached on Tuesday evening at an Eindhoven airport in the Netherlands left Afghanistan by entering Pakistain over the land border, where Dutch officials and the International Organization for Migration assisted them in reaching Islamabad.

The Afghans were reportedly unable to leave their country earlier because they lacked appropriate travel papers, according to the Dutch government. They were permitted entry into Pakistain by Pak authorities so they could go on to the Netherlands, according to the Dutch media.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Dutch government expressed its commitment to evacuate "as many eligible people as possible" from Afghanistan who makes it to Pakistain.

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported earlier this month, that it had relocated 1,801 Afghans to the Netherlands from late August 2021 and that another 942 persons were waiting to be transferred, including 766 who still remain in Afghanistan.

After two decades of conflict, the US and coalition forces withdrew from Afghanistan in late August 2021, and the Taliban seized power.

Humanitarian assistance on the ground, evacuations, resettlement of people in need of international protection, and assistance for neighboring nations hosting refugees have all been part of the global response to the situation in Afghanistan.

#1  Meanwhile, Dutch gov't uses 'environmental concerns' to end farming and make room for replacement people. But as you know, it could never happen here.

Is Pak using new names to play old games in J&K?
[OneIndia] Reports suggest that with the pressure mounting on Pakistain to get out of the tainted list, it has instructed terror groups operating in the Valley to not claim attacks.

#1  the Islamic State Hind

Psst... there's no such thing really.

There was an al-hind thingy, with a motley crew. 20 members shouting the tawheed all day long in black scarves, led by a Mehboob Pasha and one Khaja Moideen. Six in ground and fourteen in jug. Forever.

One of their own guys gave them up and asked us to rescue him because the bastards were trying to build a 'jungle base' and forcing metropolitan kids to live without Domino's, mosquito cream, pronhub...

#2  Some of the ISIS jihadi tourists made the same complaints in Syria. But as they were required to turn in their passports upon arrival, all their complaints just got them to the front lines faster.

White House walks back Sullivan’s claim US seeking consulate in East Jerusalem
[IsraelTimes] There has been no change in American policy regarding offices for Paleostinians closed since 2019, front man clarifies after Biden adviser apparently misspeaks.

White House spokesperson John Kirby on Wednesday walked back remarks made by US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, who said earlier that Washington wants the Paleostinians to have a consulate in East Jerusalem.
Same Jake Sullivan that pushed the Russian Dossier. Traitor and political hack
Kirby clarified that there has been no change in US policy regarding the consulate, Rooters reported.

The US is interested in reopening its consulate for Paleostinians in West Jerusalem, which was closed by former US president Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
in 2019.

Sullivan made the remarks to news hounds on Air Force One as it flew US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. An incredibly corrupt version of Jar-Jar Binks, only well into his dotage. The dumbass who abandoned Afghanistan....
to Israel for the start of his Middle East visit.

Asked about the potential of reopening the Jerusalem consulate that served Paleostinians, Sullivan said that it is the US’s position "that we would like a consulate in East Jerusalem, obviously that requires engagement with the Israeli government, that requires engagement with the Paleostinian leadership as well, and we will continue that engagement on this trip."

Sullivan also told news hounds aboard Air Force One that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke recently on the phone with the family of slain Paleostinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.

Blinken invited the family to come to Washington to meet directly with administration officials in order to further discuss her killing, Sullivan said, after relatives of Abu Akleh last week addressed a letter to Biden, slamming his administration’s response to her death and asking to meet Biden during his visit to Israel and the West Bank.

The family expressed "grief, outrage and [a] sense of betrayal," accusing the US of trying to erase Israel’s responsibility for her death.

The US put out a statement earlier this month that said Israel did not intentionally kill Abu Akleh, even though it was likely responsible. Sullivan said the administration is still seeking accountability in the Al Jazeera news hound’s death.

A senior Israeli official acknowledged last week that Abu Akleh’s death will likely "cast a shadow" on Biden’s visit.

Sullivan also told news hounds aboard the flight that the Biden administration (aka the Wilmington comorra)
...the pack of self-imagined masterminds of strategy and intrigue at the service of the Biden Crime Family and a grateful nation...
was "heartened" by the recent phone call between Prime Minister Yair Lapid and Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....
The call was the first in years between Israeli and Paleostinian leaders after Lapid’s predecessor, Naftali Bennett, refused to engage with the PA president and former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu did the same for much of his tenure.

Sullivan expressed hope that the recent call will lead to more cooperation between the sides on a path toward a two-state solution. He told news hounds that while Biden is hopeful for Israeli-Paleostinian peace efforts, "he won’t be making formal proposals for the launch of some sort of peace initiative."

Thousands of ex-separatist rebels poised to become Philippine police officers
[BenarNews] More than 7,000 former Moslem separatist rebels are a step closer to being recruited to the national police force that once hunted them in a volatile region of the southern Philippines, after they passed an entrance exam — the basic qualification for recruitment.

For Ryan Saavedra, a former Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) foot soldier who took the test, making the cut brings him closer to his dream of securing a future for his young daughter, who belongs to a new generation that he hopes will no longer live in fear of war.

"Allahu Akbar, our prayer was heard by Allah. I never expected that I would pass the test," said Saavedra, a wiry 36-year-old.

UNSC extends cross-border aid to Syria for six months
[NPASyria] On Tuesday, the UN Security Council approved to extend lifesaving aid deliveries into northwest Syria through Bab al-Hawa border crossing with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
for a further six months.

12 countries voted in favor of the resolution, while the United States, Britannia and La Belle France abstained from voting.

The authorization of aid deliveries through Bab al-Hawa from Turkey, which has been in place since 2014 and does not require backing from Damascus, expired on July 10, due to Russian-Chinese veto.

Two competing resolutions were rejected on Friday. The first one was a one-year-draft, put forward by Ireland and Norway and it was vetoed by Russia. The second was a six-month proposal, presented by Russia, which was only supported by Russia and China.

12 council members voted in favor of the Norway and Ireland draft resolution, while Russia opposed it and China abstained.

Russia’s Deputy U.N. Ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy said Moscow would continue to veto any text other than its own.

Since July 10, 2020, Bab al-Hawa has been the only crossing kept open to UN aid based on the resolution 2533 (2020), while the use of the others was curtailed.

In July 2014, the UN Security Council adopted the Resolution 2165 which authorized the UN to deliver cross-border humanitarian aid to Syria through four crossings al-Ramtha crossing with Jordan, Bab al-Salam, Bab al-Hawa with Turkey, and al Ya’rubiyah (Tel Kocher) with Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), without the consent of the Syrian government.

According to UN data, 14.6 million Syrians rely on humanitarian assistance, the highest ever recorded. Across Syria, 12 million individuals face acute food insecurity — a staggering 51 percent increase since 2019.

#1  Well they used to hide (plus store weapons, vehicles, etc.) unmolested inside Turkey itself, so this is no stretch.

Hundreds arrested across Syria in first half of 2022: monitor
[Rudaw] Hundreds of people have been arbitrarily arrested across Syria in the first six months of 2022, reported a human rights
...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you...
monitor on Wednesday, adding that most of the arrests occurred in areas controlled by Ottoman Turkish-backed forces.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) on Wednesday stated that they had verified a total of 792 cases of arrest, as well as 121 abductions across Syria from early January to late June 2022, adding that they estimate the number of kidnappings to be much higher than what they have been able to document.

Areas under the control of Ottoman Turkish-backed forces arrested a total of 409 people during the first half of 2022, mainly accused of having affiliations with the Kurdish forces or cells of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS), according to the SOHR.

Areas controlled by Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Despoiler of Deraa...
’s regime reported 218 arrests, while areas under the control of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested 150 people, in addition to 15 arrests in areas controlled by Syrian rebel factions.

Syrians rose up against the regime of President Bashir al-Assad in March 2011, leading to a full-scale civil war that has claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of Syrian people and has left millions more in need of humanitarian assistance.

The US State Department in March said at least 2,210 cases of arrest were documented in Syria since 2011, accusing Assad’s regime of being responsible for at least 88 percent of the arrests.

A report from the UN in 2021 addressed human rights violations against prisoners in Syria, stating that no warring parties in the country have respected the rights of the detainees.

"The whereabouts of tens of thousands of those arrested throughout the conflict are still unknown," according to the report.
