U.S. appoints Tom Perriello as special envoy for Sudan
Makes me think of Peter, Paul, and Mounds. Looks like he's gonna sing "Puff the Magick Dragon." "Leavin' on a Jet Plane" would be more appropriate.
[SUDANTRIBUNE] U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken announced the appointment of Tom Perriello as the new U.S. Special Envoy for Sudan on February 26, 2024.

In this role, Perriello will lead U.S. efforts to address the ongoing crisis in Sudan, including ending the hostilities, ensuring unhindered humanitarian access, and supporting the Sudanese people’s aspirations for freedom, peace, and justice.

Secretary Blinken emphasized Perriello’s extensive experience in peacebuilding, security, and transitional justice, particularly in Africa, making him well-suited for this critical role.
Yes. We can all remember the ummm... many successes...
Perriello previously served as the U.S. Special Envoy for the Great Lakes and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Special Representative for the second Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review, and as a U.S. Congressman representing Virginia.

“He will work to empower Sudanese civilian leaders and collaborate with partners in Africa, the Middle East, and the international community to forge a united approach to stopping the senseless conflict, preventing further atrocities, and promoting accountability for past crimes,” Blinken stated.
Let us know how that works for yez.
Blinken also expressed gratitude to outgoing U.S. Ambassador to Sudan John Godfrey for his dedicated service, particularly during the current conflict.

On February 23, the U.S. Embassy to Sudan announced that Ambassador John Godfrey had concluded his tenure as the first American Ambassador to Sudan in a quarter century.

Ambassador Daniel Rubinstein will assume the role of Chargé d’Affaires, ad interim for Sudan, while the Department of State’s Bureau of African Affairs continues to support Perriello’s mission, said Blinken.

This appointment signals the U.S. commitment to engaging with Sudan to address the ongoing crisis and pave the way for a peaceful and democratic future for the Sudanese people, he concluded.

Sudanese anti-war leader calls for Ramadan truce, humanitarian aid
[SUDANTRIBUNE] Yasir Arman, a leading figure of the Civil Forces Alliance Tagadum, called for stopping the war in Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
during the holy month of Ramadan, expected to begin on March 10th.

Arman issued a call for a truce on the X platform on Saturday, directed to the commanders of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces.

The UN has warned since late last year that civilians in Sudan’s conflict zones could face severe hunger by next summer, reaching famine-like conditions. Nearly two-thirds of Sudan’s population, or about 30 million people, now require humanitarian assistance due to the conflict’s devastating impact.

"Can we all, civilians and military personnel, hope to stop the war throughout the month of Ramadan and allow civilians freedom of movement and family reunification in the holy month, so that God’s generosity and mercy extend to our people?" Arman stated.

He urged the Sudanese people, the regional and international community, and the United Nations
...an idea whose time has gone...
agencies to amplify his call for a Ramadan ceasefire. He specifically named the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
Peace and Security Council, the UN Security Council, and the League of Arab States.

Furthermore, Arman appealed to neighbouring countries — Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
, Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates — to "exert efforts to stop the war during the holy month of Ramadan and to provide and send humanitarian aid."

Saudi and U.S. efforts failed to bring the Sudanese army and the paramilitary forces to stop the war and allow humanitarian access to civilians trapped in the war-affected areas.

Britain
British rapper Wiley stripped of royal honors over antisemitism
[IsraelTimes] British rapper Wiley has been stripped of a royal honor over his longstanding antisemitism, the BBC reports.

Wiley, known as the "Godfather of Grime," was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire for his services to music in 2017.

However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried...
this has since been revoked, following frequent antisemitic outbursts on social media in recent years, the report says.

The singer, whose real name is Richard Kylea Cowie, was repeatedly banned from social media for sending out a string of antisemitic posts including claims of connections between the Jewish community and the Ku Klux Klan, as well as repeated tropes about Jews and money.

The BBC quotes a cabinet statement saying that Wiley was formally stripped of the title for "bringing the honors system into disrepute."

Fifth Column
State Universities Are Teaching Students To Blow Up Oil Pipelines, Records Show
[WIRE] At least sixteen universities are promoting the book "How to Blow Up A Pipeline," which outlines for readers how to commit eco-terrorism — oftentimes making it required reading, a Daily Wire investigation found.

The book was published in 2021 by Swedish professor Andreas Malm and calls for terrorism and overthrowing capitalism, acknowledging that people will be killed as a result. "Demolish them, burn them, blow them up. Let the capitalists who keep investing in the fire know that their properties will be trashed," the book says.

Now multiple state-funded universities took classes that were nominally on unrelated topics, and contorted them into courses that read just four books, including the pipeline manifesto and a communist manifesto. At the University of California-Berkeley, for example, students of Geography & Interactive Biology were required to read the book. Instructors Jake Kosek and Paul Fine took what was ostensibly a biology course and transformed it into one on "decolonization." The syllabus states that the "class focuses on the scientific practice of modern botanical taxonomy as a colonial formation that conditions our modern relations" and how the names of plants "were often forged to be of service to empire-building."

The lessons across the country suggest that universities’ support for terrorism extends beyond the students supporting Hamas on many campuses. In fact, the book looks to Palestinian terrorists for inspiration, advising that, "As part of the mass resistance in the besieged Gaza Strip in the spring of 2018, Palestinians invented techniques for sending kites and helium-inflated condoms carrying incendiary materials across the wall to burn Israeli property."

GOP AGs press Biden admin to act after reports that 85,000 migrant children are missing, possibly trafficked
[FoxNews] Nearly two-dozen Republican attorneys general are imploring the Biden administration to act following "grim" reports that 85,000 migrant children are missing with "reason to believe" that some are being trafficked.

In a letter sent Monday, Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird, Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch, and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes wrote to Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra and FBI Director Christopher Wray saying that "the United States needs to stop handing over children to ‘probable traffickers.’"

My question always was, how do you know they are parents and not traffickers? Never got an answer.

#2  DNA testing answers the parent part. Observation is necessary for the trafficking piece, as there are a few parents who see their offspring as salable commodities. Both require holding the potential entrants outside the door until determination can be made.

Police rescue woman surrounded by mob in Lahore over blasphemy allegations
[GEO.TV] The Punjab
1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard
2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots....

Police rescued a woman surrounded by a charged mob in the city's Ichhra Bazaar on Sunday on suspicion of blasphemy
...the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence to a deity, or sacred objects, or toward something considered sacred or inviolable. Some religions consider it to be a crime. In Pakistain you can commit blasphemy by looking cross-eyed at a Koran...
after she was seen wearing a printed shirt bearing Arabic script, The News reported on Monday.

The woman was saved by the law enforcers just a few minutes after being encircled and harassed by an angry crowd that wanted to punish her for allegedly wearing a dress that they thought was blasphemous as it adorned "holy verses" as the print.

Being unaware of what was waiting for her, the woman was accompanied by her husband at the Ichhra Bazaar when some people tried to attack her, after which she sought refuge in a nearby shop.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Punjab Police — led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi, who is the sub-divisional police officer at Gulbarg Lahore — arrived at the scene to take the woman into their custody, saving her from the charged crowd.

According to the police, the woman, who declined to be named, said she had no intention to offend anyone’s sentiments. After verifying that it was a misunderstanding and the design on the shirt did not feature holy verses, she was released, police said.

Maryam Nawaz, Pakistain Moslem League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior vice president and chief minister-in-waiting, lauded the efforts of ASP Shehrbano for saving the woman's life and ensuring her protection following the incident.

PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal also appreciated the ASP for performing her duty with responsibility.

"Well done ASP Shehrbano!" the politician said, adding that everyone must save society from religious fanaticism.

A life was saved from being lost at the hands of the mob, the politician said.

On the other hand, Chairman Pakistain Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Ashrafi also strongly condemned the harassment of the woman on the pretext of blasphemy.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Ashrafi wrote: On this occasion, the best efforts of the Ichhra police are commendable. But asking the woman to apologise was unjustified. The harassers should have instead apologised,"

The holy man added that those who harassed the woman in the name of blasphemy should apologise, terming the act "unacceptable".

Israeli UN envoy calls for Guterres resignation over UNRWA role in Oct. 7 massacre

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Barkat: Israel to pursue victory in war regardless of economic impact
[IsraelTimes] Israel is committed to winning the war in Gaza and eliminating Hamas regardless of the economic toll on the country, Economy and Industry Minister Nir Barkat says.

Israel’s $500-billion economy has taken a hit during the more than four-month-old war against Hamas in Gaza, during which thousands of people have left the Israeli workforce and gone to serve in the military.

But Barkat made clear that national security was not only paramount, but also vital for Israel’s economy.

Asked what the risk of a bigger trade deficit and another ratings downgrade might mean for Israel, Barkat tells Reuters: “Look, we’re committed to win the war. We’re going to win the war regardless of anything.”

He says Israel has overcome tougher situations in the past. He adds: “I think when people look at the economy of Israel, they want to make sure, first of all, we’re a secure… country,” during a visit to the United Arab Emirates for a ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization.

Barkat says Israel would borrow in the near-term. This borrowing, compounded with the economic impact of the war, would increase the debt to gross domestic product ratio — a measure of Israel’s ability to repay its debt — from 62% to 70%, he says.

Hours before Hamas attack, IDF noticed dozens of terrorists activating Israeli SIMs
[IsraelTimes] Because such activations had taken place in the past, the development was not seen as a definite red flag; military censor permits detail for publication following media leak

At around midnight before Hamas
...a regional Iranian catspaw,...
’s October 7 onslaught, Israeli intelligence officials identified that dozens of terror operatives in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip had activated Israeli SIM cards in their phones, the Israel Defense Forces acknowledged on Monday,

The massacre in southern Israel was launched hours later, at 6:30 a.m., during which some 3,000 Hamas-led snuffies burst across the border into Israel from Gaza by land, air and sea, killing some 1,200 people and seizing 253 hostages of all ages — mostly civilians — under the cover of a deluge of thousands of rockets fired at Israeli towns and cities.

The IDF censor allowed some details of the SIM cards case to be published after it was reported during a live Channel 14 news broadcast on Sunday, although it did not verify the report, which claimed some 1,000 SIMs were activated simultaneously at midnight.

In a statement Monday, the IDF and Shin Bet security agency said reports that around 1,000 Israeli SIM cards were activated simultaneously in the Gaza Strip hours before the October 7 onslaught were "false and far from reality."

They said that in practice, "several indicative signs accumulated, which included, among other things, the activation of only dozens of SIMs, which were activated in previous events in the past."

"As previously published, on the night of October 7th, indicative signs were received for which situation assessments were conducted and operative decisions were made accordingly," the IDF and Shin Bet said.

"The indicative signs are based on a variety of tools and capabilities, including technological tools whose method of operation cannot be detailed," the statement added.

As the devices with Israeli SIMs had been activated in the past, without anything happening, this led Israeli intelligence officials to believe Hamas could again be carrying out an exercise, and this was not seen as a definitive sign of a planned attack. They decided to continue consultations on the matter throughout the night.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office on Monday initially denied that Netanyahu had been aware that invading Hamas snuffies switched to Israeli SIM cards until Channel 14 on Sunday broadcast the claim that the snuffies activated 1,000 Israeli SIM cards. The PMO later clarified that he hadn’t been aware of that numerical claim until the TV report, but was told, "at the start of the war, ... that the snuffies used dozens of Israeli SIMs."

Further details surrounding the case of the SIM cards were not permitted to be published at this stage. It is believed that Israeli SIM cards enabled the snuffies better communication in southern Israel during the onslaught.

The IDF has said it will investigate all the incidents in the lead-up to the October 7 attack.

It was previously reported that on the night between October 6 and 7, hours before the early morning assault, an email was sent from an IDF base on the Gaza border describing "certain signs coming from Gaza" about an imminent attack. At the same time, the Shin Bet security agency also saw signs that something was up.

At around 1:30 a.m. on October 7, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi’s office manager was updated about this by the Shin Bet, and then by the IDF general in charge of the Southern Command. At around 3:30 a.m., Halevi was awakened. He asked to arrange a telephone consultation in order to hold a situational assessment. That session took place some 90 minutes later.

The IDF’s operations chief arranged his own consultation ahead of Halevi’s, found the same signs of an imminent attack and sought explanations as to whether this was a drill or a strategic operation against Israel set for the coming hours. That consultation concluded that no definitive explanation could be reached, and sought additional intelligence from the IDF’s 8200 signal intelligence unit.

When they held their consultation, Halevi, the head of IDF operations and the Southern Command chief were updated on the signs of an imminent attack. Halevi asked for more information and ordered that the Israel Air Force be updated. He also ordered that the intelligence information be checked — including from a perspective skeptical of the then-prevailing assumption that Hamas was not interested in war.

Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva, the head of the Intelligence Directorate, was not involved in these October 6-7 consultations, as he was on vacation in Eilat. He was updated around 3 a.m. about the worrying signs from Gaza, but took no part in the consultations and wasn’t available by phone for them. Haliva was quoted as later telling those around him that, even if he had participated in the consultations, he would have concluded that it was apparently a drill and dealing with the matter could wait until the morning. "It wouldn’t have changed the final result in any way," he reportedly said.

Israel had multiple sources of information on Hamas’s drills and other preparations for an assault in the weeks ahead of October 7, reportedly including a 2022 Hamas attack plan.

The IDF had long touted its security fence, with cameras, watchtowers and high-tech sensors, as providing security to residents of Gaza border towns. But on October 7, Hamas snuffies knocked chunks of it aside with explosives and bulldozers at multiple locations, then drove right through the gaping holes in jeeps and on cycle of violences, while others sailed over in hang gliders, as drones dropped explosives on observation towers and took out cameras. Amid a simultaneous rocket barrage across southern and central Israel, an estimated 3,000 snuffies stormed into southern Israel and slaughtered soldiers and civilians alike, with some local resistance but the military establishment slow to react.

Last week, The Times of Israel learned that the IDF would begin probing operational failures in the lead-up to the October 7 massacre, after Halevi decided not to wait until after the fighting ends to look into what went wrong.

The probes, set to begin by the end of the month, are aimed at drawing operational conclusions for the military, and will not look into the policies of the politicianship — thus avoiding a fight with government leaders who have insisted that investigations wait until after the end of Israel’s war against Hamas.
More from the Times of Israel:
There were only some 600 IDF soldiers deployed in the Gaza border area when the invading Hamas terrorists burst into Israel, according to initial findings of an IDF investigation into the events of October 7, Channel 12 reports.

The report says the IDF forces were quickly overwhelmed. It notes that the military had recently drilled for a Hamas invasion, but on a much smaller scale. The report says the military had practiced repelling a Hamas assault along two routes. The actual attack took place at 60 different points.

Ex-deputy IDF chief Yair Golan enters Labor party leadership race
How many IDF generals confuse serving Labour with serving the government even when Bibi Netanyahu is the PM?
[IsraelTimes] Former Meretz MK says he wants to unify left-wing camp under a ‘new political framework,’ after incumbent leader Merav Michaeli failed to revitalize once-dominant faction.

Golan, who was a politician for Meretz until the left-wing party failed to clear the electoral threshold in the November 2022 election, threw his hat in the ring a day after Labor announced it would hold the leadership contest to replace Merav Michaeli, as the once-dominant party struggles to revitalize itself.

"We have two tasks: To break down this government as quickly as possible and unify the [left-wing] camp. Unfortunately, Merav Michaeli enforces internal Labor primaries and is opposed to unifying the camp," a statement released on Golan’s behalf read.

Throughout 2023, he was an outspoken critic of the government’s controversial judicial overhaul — which is currently on hold — and was called a left-wing traitor. A former Northern Front and Home Front commander, Golan, 61, now a general in the reserves, was passed over for the position of IDF chief of staff in 2018 after delivering a speech in which he likened processes being seen in Israel to what he said were similar "disturbing processes" that took place in Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
in the run-up to the Holocaust.
Ugh. Yes, the gentleman was reported to have acted heroically on October 7th. But how much did his distaste for his failing party’s political rivals lead him to help promote the idea among Israel’s enemies — and friends, too — that Israel was too divided to properly defend itself?

The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip, bringing in all the needs of the Strip residents with reconstruction,
"We're starvin' in here!"
and ending the siege.
"From the river to the sea! Stop it!"
"The movement did not receive any official information about what happened in Gay Paree," al-Nono said.

He pointed out that "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejects the basic keys to the success of the negotiations
…and rightfully so…
and refuses to recognize the rights of the Paleostinian people."

Al-Nono added that Netanyahu’s primary goal in proceeding with the war is for purely personal and electoral interests and to protect himself.

He affirmed that the American administration is fully involved in supporting the crimes of the occupation, providing cover and weapons to kill Paleostinians, and practicing collective punishment.

When Terrorists leaders start talking about Peace, its clear they have been beaten and need to regroup using Peace terms as the usual process.

Which, as history has repeatedly shown, will be violated within a few years, using a NEW terrorist group name, using the old terrorists agenda.

Biden, to Appease Palestinians, Reverses Trump Policy on Legality of Settlements
Of course he did.
[BREITBART] President Joe The Big Guy Biden

Secretary of State Antony Blinken
...71st United States secretary of state and a leading light of the corrupt and inept Biden administration. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under the corrupt and inept Obama administration. He advocated for the 2003 invasion of Iraq while serving as the Democratic staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2002 to 2008. He was a foreign policy advisor for the Biden 2008 presidential campaign. During his tenure in the Obama administration, Blinken helped craft B.O.'s policy on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the nuclear program of Iran. We all saw how well each of those worked. After leaving government service, Blinken moved into the private sector, co-founding WestExec Advisors, a lobbying firm...

during the lame-duck weeks of his administration in 2016.

Trump reversed the Obama policy in 2019.

The decision was likely taken to appease domestic constituencies, including Moslem- and Arab-American voters in swing states like Michigan, who have been unhappy with the Biden administration’s (increasingly doubtful) support for Israel against Hamas
...the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
However it also serves as a reward for Hamas terrorists, who can now claim that by launching a terror attack on October 7 that murdered 1200 people in Israel, and by seizing nearly 250 hostages, it has reversed U.S. support for Israel in Judea and Samaria.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
IAEA warns Iran building up uranium stockpile, still barring senior monitors
[IsraelTimes] Report notes decrease in amount of uranium enriched to 60% purity, a short step from weapon’s grade material, after Tehran diluted some of it in recent weeks

Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
has further increased its total stockpile of uranium, according to a report by the UN nuclear watchdog seen by The News Agency that Dare Not be Named on Monday, and it continues to bar the agency’s most seasoned inspectors from monitoring its nuclear program.

The ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency also said in a second confidential report, distributed to member states, that Tehran made no progress in explaining the presence of manmade uranium particles found at two locations.

The IAEA estimated in its quarterly report that as of February 10, Iran’s total enriched uranium stockpile was at 5,525.5 kilograms (about 12,182 pounds), an increase of 1,038.7 kilograms (2,289 pounds) since the last quarterly report in November 2023.

It also said that according to its assessment, Iran has an estimated 121.5 kilograms (267.8 pounds) of uranium enriched up to 60 percent purity, which represents a decrease of 6.8 kilograms (14.9 pounds) since the last report in November 2023.

The decrease is the result of Iran having diluted some of its 60% enriched uranium in recent weeks with lower-grade material.

According to the IAEA’s definition, around 42 kilograms (92.5 pounds) of uranium enriched to 60% is the amount at which creating one atomic weapon is theoretically possible. The 60% purity is just a short, technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90%.

Between June and November last year, Iran slowed down the enrichment to 3 kilograms (6.6 pounds) per month, but then increased the rate again to 9 kilograms (19.8 pounds) at the end of the year, the IAEA reported.

Eric Brewer, deputy vice president of the Washington-based Nuclear Threat Initiative, told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named that Iran could potentially make several nuclear bombs.

"Iran has enough 60 percent material for roughly three nuclear weapons if further enriched to 90 percent. When you include Iran’s stockpile of 20 percent enriched uranium and 5 percent, it has enough material for several additional bombs," Brewer said.

"Iran would only need a couple of weeks to produce that weapons-grade material, but probably much longer—a year or more—to build an actual bomb it could deliver," he added.

In the second report, the IAEA said Iran’s government has not responded to the nuclear watchdog’s request about the origin and current location of manmade uranium particles found at two locations that Tehran has failed to declare as potential nuclear sites, named Varamin and Turquzabad.

The IAEA has accused Iran of stonewalling such an investigation over the past five years. However,
a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth...
Tehran made some progress by providing "a possible explanation" for the undeclared uranium particles for another location called Marivan in 2023. Western officials have suggested the so-called safeguards probe of the undeclared sites could confirm longstanding suspicions that Iran had a nuclear weapons program up until 2003.

The report also said there was no progress thus far in reinstalling more monitoring equipment, including cameras, removed in June 2022. The IAEA stated their inspectors were allowed to "service the cameras at the workshops in Esfahan, but without providing access to the data recorded by those cameras."

Since June 2022, the only recorded data is that of the cameras at the centrifuge workshop in Isfahan in May 2023 — although Iran has not provided the IAEA with access to this data.

Iran responded to criticism by the US, Britannia, La Belle France, and Germany on those issues by barring several of the IAEA’s most experienced inspectors from monitoring its nuclear program in September 2023.
