Poll shows 54% of US Jews have favorable view of Israeli government, 58% of all Americans support Israel vs Hamas
[IsraelTimes] According to the new Pew poll, a majority of Jewish adults — 54 percent — hold a favorable view of Israel’s government versus 44% with an unfavorable view.

Among all Americans, the poll says 41% have a favorable view and 51% unfavorable.

The survey was conducted last month, but its release comes days after US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer
...Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras and microphones. Schumer has been a professional politician since 1975, when disco was in flower, which is 48.29324 years. Senate minority leader as of 2017...
gave a speech calling on Israel to hold new elections to replace Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, saying he was speaking for "so many mainstream Jewish Americans — a silent majority."

Poll: Most Americans say Israel has valid reasons to fight Hamas; young Americans far less supportive

[IsraelTimes] A majority of Americans — 58 percent — believe that Israel has valid reasons for fighting Hamas, while just under four in ten US adults say Israel’s prosecution of the war has been acceptable, a new survey from the Pew Research Center finds.

The 34% of respondents who say Israel’s conduct in the war is unacceptable is less than the 38% who support how the Jewish state has fought Hamas, while the remaining 26% don’t know.

Just 22% of respondents say Hamas’s reasons for fighting Israel are valid and just 5% of them say the terror group’s October 7 attack was acceptable.

Respondents under 30 years old are significantly more critical of how Israel is fighting than older Americans, with 46% describing it as unacceptable, including 32% who call it completely unacceptable.

These younger respondents are similarly likely to say that Israel (38%) and Hamas (34%) have valid reasons for fighting.

Three in ten Americans (31%) sympathize entirely or mostly with the Israeli people, while 16% sympathize entirely or mostly with the Palestinian people and 26% say they sympathize with both sides equally. Another 18% are unsure where their sympathies lie.

Eight percent of Americans have a favorable view of Hamas, compared to 84% who have an unfavorable view. Twenty-three percent of respondents have a favorable view of the Palestinian Authority.

Twice as many Americans favor the US providing humanitarian aid to Gaza as those who oppose it, 50% vs. 19%.

Thirty-six percent are in favor of the US providing Israel with military aid, while 34% oppose it.

Only 20% want the US to play a major role in diplomatically resolving the conflict, with another 35% supporting a minor role.

Democratic respondents are divided over whether US President Joe Biden is tilting too far toward Israel’s position, with 34% saying he has, compared to 29% who say he’s striking the right balance and 3% who say he’s favoring the Palestinian position too much.

A plurality of Americans (40%) say the best outcome to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be a two-state solution.

Thirty-three percent of Republicans say they support a two-state solution, compared to 38% of Democrats. Support for a single state governed by Israel is up from 18% to 26% among Republicans.

Forty-one percent of respondents say they have a favorable view of the current Israeli government — down from 47% in 2022. The number who expressed “very unfavorable views” has doubled in that same period.

Nearly 13,000 US adults participated in the survey that took place last month. It has a margin of error of 1.5%.

Shocking moment TikTokker tells illegal immigrants how to 'invade' American homes and invoke squatter's rights as provocative video is viewed almost 4million times
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A TikTok influencer is advising his followers on how to 'invade' American homes and invoke squatter's rights, making it difficult for them to be removed from properties.

Leonel Moreno, who goes by @leitooficial_25 online and appears to be a Venezuelan migrant, has told his followers that under US law, 'if a house is not inhabited, we can seize it'.

He is referring to squatter's rights, or adverse possession laws - a common law principle that allows an illegal inhabitant to acquire ownership of a property based on continuous occupation without the legal owner's consent.

Moreno, alleging he has friends who 'have already taken about seven homes', argued the only way for migrants to not live in the streets or be a 'public burden' is to 'seize' and 'invade' abandoned properties.

The now-viral video, which has been viewed almost 4million times, has prompted outrage from many social media users. Some have claimed Moreno is 'promoting terrorism' and are now calling on the FBI and Department of Homeland Security to action.

Squatter's rights laws exist in all 50 states and have sparked a crisis across the nation. 'Serial squatters' are overtaking homes and helpless families booted out of their houses by crooks are desperately turning to vigilantes to reclaim their homes.

Moreno, who is believed to live in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio with his partner and their infant daughter, has amassed a following of more than 501,000 on TikTok by creating videos targeted at migrants.

The migrant influencer, in a video posted four days ago, is encouraging his followers to take over unoccupied homes.

Moreno, speaking in his native Spanish, told his followers: 'I found out that there is a law that says if a house is not inhabited we can seize it.'

He argued the law applies to 'land invasion' and said he thinks 'that will be my next business, invading abandoned houses'.

After disclosing his next business venture, Moreno prompted the alleged successes that other migrants have had by seizing properties.

'My African friends have told me that they have already taken about seven homes,' he continued. 'You have to look for the return, and the return right now is to invade a house.'

He further argued that squatting is the 'only way we have to not live in the street and not be a public burden'.

Moreno also claimed the law states that if they overtake abandoned homes that have 'deteriorated' or are in 'bad condition', repair and live in them, that they can 'ask for credits' when the properties are sold.

Squatters will often take control of abandoned or unattended homes because they are less likely to be monitored, according to asset protection firm Anderson Business Advisors. But a squatter is not immediately granted the right to adverse possession.

Squatter's rights must be established over a designated timeframe, varying by state and ranging from a period of seven to over 20 years.

Some local authorities require even less time to establish adverse possession.

New York City has a more progressive take on the law and and allows a person can claim squatter's rights after residing in a property for just 30 days.

Under city law, it is also illegal for a landlord or homeowner to change the locks, turn off the utilities or remove the squatter's belongings from the property.

In all states, a property owner must follow a legal eviction process to remove squatters. This process make look different depending on each authority, but typically begins with notifying local law enforcement and filing an eviction lawsuit.

So will there be an arrest of this pile of bio-mass?

Based on past US Supreme Court rulings, any Fed or State Justice Dept. need only prove criminal recklessness with harmful intent, and that such a specific crime did occur, in order to bring charges for an arrest.

NOTE:Also, it "might" open the door for US Civil Tort $$$$$$ actions.

RSF voices rejection of new humanitarian aid route to Darfur
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) rejected a new route announced by Darfur Governor Minni Minawi to deliver humanitarian aid to the war-torn region.

Minawi, in agreement with UN agencies, planned to use a route starting from Port Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
and passing through al-Dabba in northern Sudan, an area controlled by armed forces and allied groups.

However,
there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened...
the RSF dismissed the proposal in a Thursday statement, arguing that Minawi lacked the authority to make such decisions. The RSF claims to have "liberated" Darfur from remnants of the former regime and considers the Juba Peace Agreement no longer valid.

The RSF further accused Minawi of seizing aid shipments and the military of selling relief materials. While pledging cooperation in securing aid within their control, they expressed concern about potential weapon smuggling disguised as humanitarian aid, claiming to have evidence of such attempts.

The paramilitary group emphasized their commitment to working with the UN and relief agencies "under clear and transparent understandings." They oppose using aid for "war agendas" or weapon smuggling.

UN agencies called for urgent humanitarian assistance, saying many Sudanese will face catastrophic food insecurity in the coming months. They point out that 18 million Sudanese people are facing acute food insecurity.

On Wednesday, the Security Council held a meeting to discuss the situation in Sudan. The 15-member body was briefed by Edem Wosornu of the UN Humanitarian Affairs Office, OCHA, Maurizio Martina, the Deputy Director-General of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and Carl Skau, the Deputy Executive Director of the UN World Food Programme (WFP).

"There is currently, according to the information we have from our partners, no direct threat to Eurovision," Malmo Safety Director Per-Erik Ebbestahl tells a news conference. "Given the situation, things could change."

Cultural events across Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
have in recent months been affected by protests and boycotts over the war in Gaza.

Israel this month tweaked its Eurovision submission to exclude lyrics that appeared to refer to the October 7 Hamas attack, after organizers said they would disqualify contestants who did not maintain the non-political spirit of the event.

Malmo Mayor Katrin Stjernfeldt Jammeh says that while many would visit the city for the competition and related festivities, many would also want to stage protests and express political opinions in connection with the event.

"We stand behind the right of all people to express their democratic views. Then there is also always a risk that someone will use the attention for less peaceful purposes or to disrupt and fight," she tells the news conference.

"I have great confidence in the police’s ability to work for a safe city even when so many different people come to visit," she adds.

The contest is due to take place May 7-11.

Canada to stop selling arms to ''Israel''
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie announced on Tuesday that her country would ban arms sales to the Zionist entity.

This came after the Canadian Parliament voted by 204 votes to 117 in favor of a non-binding proposal to stop arms sales after a long debate.

In a statement to the local newspaper "Toronto Star", Jolie said: "It is a real decision. The original proposal was to suspend arms sales, but that was changed to a complete ban."

The proposal also included a clause calling for support for "the establishment of the State of Paleostine" in coordination with Canada’s international partners.

Canada had previously imposed a temporary suspension on export permits for military goods and technology to Israel.

Bibi skyped with US Senate Republicans Wednesday, Senator Schumer uninterested
In talk to GOP, PM estimates 28,000 have been killed in Gaza — 4,000 fewer than Hamas claims

[IsraelTimes] Speaking virtually to a gathering of Senate Republicans Wednesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he is mindful of the civilian corpse count in Gazoo

, Sen. Josh Hawley tells The New York Times

...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

"He was very mindful of it, he talked about it at some length," says Hawley, adding that Netanyahu insisted that Israel was making every effort to minimize civilian casualties.

Hawley recalls that Netanyahu estimated the corpse count in Gaza to be at roughly 28,000. The latest corpse count from the Hamas

Israel says the IDF has killed at least 13,000 button men in battle in Gaza from Hamas and other terror groups, as well as 1,000 forces of Evil inside Israel on or soon after October 7.

The Republican senator adds that Netanyahu told the politicians that he wasn’t asking for US ground troops to fight Israel’s war. However,

the premier did request financial assistance from Washington, urging the senators to support any bill that includes security assistance for Jerusalem. Such legislation has been held up for months by House Republicans over disagreements with Democrats regarding immigration and Ukraine.

India-Pakistan
Islamabad not seeking armed conflict with Kabul, says defence minister
Of course. They’d much rather the Taliban simply surrender to their manifestly superior force, not to mention Allah’s clear will in this matter.
[GEO.TV] Days after Pakistain hit outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
Pakistain (TTP) targets inside Afghanistan, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Islamabad does not want any "armed conflict" with Kabul.

"Force is the last resort. We do not want to have an armed conflict with Afghanistan," Asif said while speaking to the Voice of America.

The defence minister's remarks come as the neighbouring countries have experienced a spike in their already tense bilateral relations over increasing terrorist attacks by the TTP and other banned outfits, which are based in Afghanistan, inside Pak territory.

On Monday, Pakistain carried out intelligence-based operations (IBOs) targeting TTP's Hafiz Gul Bahadur
...a member of the Madda Khel clan of the Uthmanzai Waziris. Educated in a Deobandi madrassa located in Multan, he is affiliated with the Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) political party. Upon the formation of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in December 2007, he was announced as the group's overall naib amir under Baitullah Mehsud, who was based in South Wazoo, but has largely distanced himself from the TTP due to rivalries with the Mehsuds and disagreements about the TTP's attacks against the Pak state..
Group which is responsible for the March 16 attack in Mir Ali, North Wazoo and multiple other terrorist attacks in the country.

Islamabad's action came following a deadly attack on Pak forces which resulted in the martyrdom of seven soldiers including a lieutenant colonel and captain.

Pakistain has repeatedly called on the Afghan interim government to prevent its soil from being used against Pakistain by TTP and other holy warrior organizations — a claim vehemently denied by Kabul.

'NOT LET TTP START A WAR'
Terming Pakistain's military action inside Afghanistan as a necessary message against increasing cross-border terrorism, the minister called on the Afghan interim regime to "control" the TTP and "not let them start a war" with Pakistain while living in Afghanistan.

"We cannot continue like this," he said, adding that Islamabad will be forced to retaliate if the TTP continues its attacks.

Elaborating on the prospects of bilateral trade and prospects of providing an economic corridor to Kabul, owing to the country being landlocked, Asif questioned why Islamabad should entertain such a possibility if the neighbouring country treats it "like an enemy".

As reported by the VOA, around 5,000 to 6,000 TTP fighters reside in Afghanistan after being driven out of Pak territory owing to the military's wide-scale anti-terror operation in erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) along the border with Afghanistan.

Furthermore, United Nations
...boodling on the grand scale...

Pakistan displeased with election-related comments in US Congressional hearing
[GEO.TV] Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch Thursday said while Pakistan values its relationship with the United States, but there were several misunderstandings regarding Pakistan's election laws during the Congressional panel hearing a day earlier.

"In the meeting of the American committee yesterday, there were several misunderstandings regarding Pakistani election laws," the spokesperson said during a FO's weekly press briefing today.

A day earlier, Donald Lu, the US Assistant Secretary of State, appeared as a key witness at a hearing House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee titled ‘Pakistan After the elections: Examining the future of Democracy in Pakistan and the US Pakistan relationship'.

During the hearing, Lu called for an investigation into the electoral fraud claims, saying that the US is closely monitoring the probe into the rigging allegations.
We have our own problems with people rigging elections.
He also mentioned “undue restrictions on freedom of expression, and peaceful assembly” during the February 8 polls.

The US resolution, which will be put to vote on Friday, "will unequivocally support ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at securing an immediate ceasefire in Gaza as part of a hostage deal," Nate Evans, front man for US Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, said in a statement.

The measure "is an opportunity for the Council to speak with one voice to support the diplomacy happening on the ground and pressure Hamas to accept the deal on the table," Evans added.

similarly described the US draft resolution as calling for "an immediate ceasefire tied to the release of hostages."

The resolution marks a further toughening of Washington’s stance toward Israel. Earlier in the five-month-long war, the US was averse to the word ceasefire and vetoed measures that included calls for an immediate ceasefire.

The draft resolution, seen by Rooters, says an "immediate and sustained ceasefire" lasting roughly six weeks would protect civilians and allow for the delivery of humanitarian assistance.

over a ceasefire and emphasizes support for using the period of a truce to intensify efforts in pursuit of "lasting peace."

Since blocking an Algerian draft resolution calling for an "immediate humanitarian ceasefire" in Gaza at the end of February, US officials have been negotiating an alternative text focusing on support for diplomatic efforts on the ground for a six-week truce in exchange for the release of hostages.

Strip and West Bank, though the percentage who believe the terror group’s October 7 onslaught was "correct" is virtually unchanged.

According to the survey, 71% of Paleostinians in Gaza and the West Bank back the October 7 massacres in which in bully boyz killed some 1,200 people and kidnapped 253 others, versus 72% who said so when the organization’s previous poll was published in December.

While the overall figure remained steady, support for atrocities increased from 57% to 71% in Gaza the past three months and dipped from 82% to 71% in the West Bank.

Along with Islamist group itself, respondents gave high marks to the Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar over his conduct in the war, with 61% approving, though this was down some from 69% in December.

Satellite images show 35% of Gaza’s buildings damaged or destroyed, UN says
[IsraelTimes] Satellite images analyzed by the United Nations Satellite Centre show that 35% of the Gaza Strip’s buildings have been damaged or destroyed since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas.

In its assessment, the United Nations Satellite Centre, UNOSAT, used high-resolution satellite images collected on Feb. 29 and compared them with images taken before and after the start of the war.

It found that 35% of all buildings in the Gaza Strip — 88,868 structures — had been damaged or destroyed.

Among these, it identified 31,198 structures as destroyed, 16,908 as severely damaged, and 40,762 as moderately damaged.
Poss difficult to identify hovels.
This represents an increase of nearly 20,000 damaged structures compared to the previous assessment it did based on images taken in January, UNOSAT says.

“The governorates of Khan Younis and Gaza have experienced the most significant rise in damage, with Khan Younis seeing 12,279 additional damaged structures and Gaza experiencing 2,010,” UNOSAT says.

“Khan Younis City has been hit particularly hard, with 6,663 newly destroyed structures.”

Israel launched its military campaign after Hamas’s devastating October 7 onslaught, during which some 3,000 terrorists burst into Israel from Gaza, killing some 1,200 people and seizing 253 hostages, mostly civilians.

Israel spokesman: Israel will enter Rafah even if the entire world stands against it

city, minister stresses ’we’re going to fight until the battle’s won’

Israel will take control of Rafah even if it causes a rift with the United States, a senior Israeli official said on Thursday, describing the Gazook city packed with evacuees as a final Hamas
...the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
bastion harboring a quarter of the terror group’s fighters.

The prospect of tanks and troops storming Rafah worries Washington, which says Israel must have a plan to move more than a million Paleostinians who have sheltered there since being displaced from elsewhere in the Gaza Strip during the five-month-old war.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to ensure civilian evacuation and humanitarian aid — measures that top Israeli aides are due to discuss in the White House in the coming days at the behest of US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. We get to suffer the consequences...
"We’re quite confident that we can do this in a way that would be effective — not only militarily, but also on the humanitarian side. And they have less confidence that we can do it," one of those Israeli envoys, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, told the podcast "Call Me Back with Dan Senor."

Dermer, a former ambassador to the United States, said Israel would hear out American ideas for Rafah, but that the city on Gaza’s border with Egypt would be taken whether or not the allies reach agreement:

"It will happen even if Israel is forced to fight alone. Even if the entire world turns on Israel, including the United States, we’re going to fight until the battle’s won."

As fighting raged in northern Gaza, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken

visited Cairo for talks with Arab officials about a proposed temporary ceasefire. Israel is open to a truce that will allow the release of hostages, but has ruled out ending the war with Hamas still in power.

Dermer said leaving the Iran-backed Islamists standing would invite open-ended attacks against Israel from across the region: "And that’s why the determination to take them out is so strong, even if it leads to a potential breach with the United States."

He and National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi are expected to fly to Washington in the coming days to discuss the continuation of the war on Hamas with Biden administration officials.

Dermer said there were four intact Hamas battalions in Rafah, bolstered by button men who had retreated from other parts of Gaza, amounting to 25% of the group’s prewar strength.

"We’re not going to leave a quarter of them in place," he said. "We’re going into Rafah because we have to... And I think what people don’t understand is that October 7 is an existential moment for Israel."

Netanyahu says it ‘will take some time’ until IDF launches offensive in Rafah
[IsraelTimes] As Israel and US continue talks on southern Gaza city, with top Jerusalem officials set to hear American proposals in Washington, Blinken to hold discussions during visit Friday

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday he would "soon approve plans to evacuate the civilian population" from Rafah ahead of an expected major operation in the southern Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. city.

At the same time, he acknowledged that preparations for the operation "will take some time," as Jerusalem continues its dialogue with Washington, amid intense American concerns over the potential civilian cost in the city that is both Hamas
...not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
’s last major stronghold in the Strip and the last refuge of over a million refugees from other parts of the enclave amid the war.

"While we are preparing to enter Rafah, which will take some time, we continue to operate with all our might," said Netanyahu. "We continue to operate in Khan Younis, in the central [Gaza] camps, for the elimination and capture of senior Hamas officials, as we just did in Shifa Hospital, while eliminating hundreds of terrorists."

Netanyahu made the statement two days after a phone call with US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Old, boring, a plagiarist, fond of hair sniffing and grabbing the protruding parts of women, and not whatcha call brilliant... or is that an act?...
on the state of the war and plans for Rafah. During that call, Biden effectively ruled out support for a major ground offensive in Rafah, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said.

Netanyahu expressed appreciation for Biden’s support for Israel, adding that the president had asked to present US proposals to Jerusalem on humanitarian assistance and other aspects of the war.

Two senior US officials told The Times of Israel on Tuesday that the US will present alternative plans for how Israel can continue pursuing Hamas without launching a major ground operation in Rafah during an upcoming meeting with a visiting Israeli delegation in Washington.

Netanyahu has said the IDF will evacuate the civilians to areas north of Rafah before beginning the operation and declared Friday that he had approved the military’s plans for the offensive. US officials speaking on condition of anonymity
... for fear of being murdered...
to The Times of Israel in recent weeks increasingly expressed their skepticism that such a large-scale evacuation would be possible.

"The key goals Israel wants to achieve in Rafah can be done by other means," Sullivan asserted Monday.

In his Wednesday statement, Netanyahu said: "As I promised you time and time again — we are determined to achieve absolute victory, and we will achieve it."

More than 1.3 million Paleostinians are estimated to be sheltering in the Rafah area, after the IDF issued evacuation warnings from northern Gaza and other areas in the Strip amid its ground offensive against Hamas. Unable to leave the tiny Paleostinian territory, many are living in makeshift tent camps or overflowing UN-run shelters.

The ground offensive began within a month of the outbreak of the war on October 7, when thousands of Hamas gunnies invaded southern Israel, killing some 1,200 people and taking 253 captives.

Shortly after Netanyahu’s statement, State Department front man Matthew Miller told the press that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken
...71st United States secretary of state and a leading light of the corrupt and inept Biden administration. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under the corrupt and inept Obama administration. will discuss the need to ensure Hamas’s defeat, "including in Rafah," confirming the top American diplomat’s planned Friday visit to Israel.

The US came out against Israel’s plan to launch a major ground invasion in Rafah this week and is instead pushing for a more limited operation in the city and other parts of Gaza targeting Hamas’s military leaders. Washington also seeks to secure the Egypt-Gaza border to prevent continued smuggling, a surge of humanitarian aid through new access points into the enclave, and the promotion of a viable Paleostinian Authority-linked alternative to Hamas rule, US officials told The Times of Israel on Tuesday.

The US aims to discuss these alternative plans with two of Netanyahu’s top aides, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi, on Sunday in Washington, but the issues will ostensibly be on Blinken’s agenda when he arrives in Tel Aviv on Friday.

United States had to abandon laser weapons for the AC-130J aircraft
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The US Air Force has abandoned flight tests of the AC-130J Ghostrider fire support aircraft, armed with a laser cannon. This was reported by The War Zone ( TWZ ) at the US Air Force Special Operations Command.

“The AHEL laser system [a prototype of the Airborne High Energy Laser system] encountered technical problems,” the material says.

It was planned that the plane would take to the skies in January 2024. Lockheed Martin awarded the contract to AHEL in 2019. The document provided for the supply of a laser cannon for the aircraft system and support for efforts to integrate the laser system into the AC-130J. The company also led efforts to integrate the approximately 60-kilowatt system into the AC-130J.

However, in budget documents this was explained by the expected closure of the program in fiscal year 2024.

This weapon also has its drawbacks. Thus, it is unclear how the rays will be affected by difficult weather conditions. In addition, the laser only hits targets within line of sight at a distance of one and a half to five kilometers, the publication noted.
Mile to 3 Miles for us Americanos
As Regnum reported, in January the UK successfully tested the DragonFire long-range laser directed energy weapon. The tests took place at a missile test site in the Hebrides. DragonFire carried out the UK's first high-power laser weapon fire against aerial targets. The British Ministry of Defense showed footage from the tests.

In Russia, not only the Peresvet laser weapon is used in combat, but also the Zadira laser complex. The latter is capable of hitting a target at a distance of up to five kilometers.

I can see the advantage, especially being the quiet part and no muzzle blasts to give away the position, quietly hitting targets. Closer support fire without worry about friendly fire. Detection system for zapping drones? Wonder what the differences in weight are between typical crew and loadout is, and affects on airspeed and range, handling.

Also have to wonder, if it works well enough for some situations, that is is a cover for 'no these don't exist'?
