Valencia Prime was only 25, but already a fixture on the Philly drag scene, when she collapsed on stage on Sept. 12, according to local reports.
Prime identified as a trans woman and billed herself as "Philadelphia’s Plus Size Dancing Diva." She was performing at Tabu nightclub in Center City while hosting her own live showcase, "Prime Time," when tragedy struck.
"We mourn the loss of a very bright and rising star in the performance community and a person who was always full of life and positivity," the venue posted on Instagram. "We say goodbye to Valencia Prime, but we will not forget the light you brought to the stage."
The Philadelphia medical examiner listed Prime’s cause of death as heart disease and classified the manner of death as natural causes, 6ABC reported.
ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) - Thousands of people attended the second annual Gunna Fest hosted by the Gunna Foundation organizers and the family of Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum rapper and Atlanta native Gunna in College Park on Saturday afternoon.
The festival was held at the old Target parking lot at 5021 Old National Hwy. from noon until 6 p.m. One of the organizers said people were lining up as early as 9 a.m. to attend the event. A portion of Old National Highway was in a traffic jam getting into the parking lot for several miles.
Families enjoyed free food, beverages, rides, games and even some of their favorite cartoon characters including Woody from Toy Story, Lilo from Lilo and Stitch, Spiderman, Batman and a princess.

Gunna, whose real name is Sergio Kitchens, is currently in jail on RICO charges. Prosecutors claim he is a high-ranking member of the YSL street gang.

"We’re happy that this is happening. This is such a much-needed and positive community event. The weather is nice and a lot of people have shown up," said Jasmine Crowe-Houston, one of the organizers. "There were people here lining up at 9 a.m. to attend. There’s great food, great people and fun for the whole family. We’re happy Gunna is doing this in his community where he is from."

[Cigar Aficionado] J.C. Newman’s historic El Reloj Factory, located in the heart of Tampa, has been producing cigars since 1910. But the combination cigar factory and museum has artifacts that are even older than the establishment itself—the company recently acquired a box of 100 perfectly pristine Cuesta-Rey cigars from 1906. The cigars were added to J.C. Newman’s three-floor museum where they will be preserved and displayed for future generations.
Though the cigars are technically still smokeable, after 116 years (many of them spent outside of a humidor) the tobacco’s flavor has surely diminished. The Newman family decided their value was much greater as an exhibit at their growing museum.

[NYP] Russiagate special counsel John Durham is in the homestretch. His grand jury wrapped up work last week, apparently with no new indictments on the horizon. A G Garland is said to anticipate receiving his final report by the end of the year. And Durham is gearing up for his last trial: the prosecution of Igor Danchenko, the principal source for the discredited Steele dossier.
That last one should be grabbing our attention. We now know that the dossier was a Clinton campaign production. It is one of the great dirty tricks in modern political history: The 2016 Democratic presidential campaign colluded with the incumbent Democratic administration’s law-enforcement and intelligence apparatus to portray their partisan opposition, Donald Trump, as a Kremlin mole, then made the smear stick to the point of forcing Trump to govern for over two years under the cloud of a special-counsel investigation.
This enterprise included substantial reliance by the FBI on the bogus Steele dossier in obtaining spying authorization from the (FISC) — on sworn representations that the bureau believed Trump was in a "conspiracy of cooperation" with Vladimir Putin’s anti-American regime.
Danchenko turns out to have been Steele’s principal source for this fever dream. Last year, Durham indicted him on five counts of lying to the FBI. But that’s not the half of it. Last week, in a jaw-dropping court submission, Durham revealed that the FBI signed up Danchenko as an informant and paid him for almost three years — from March 2017 through October 2020. I hope the trial is not in DC.The accused is a Russian, so maybe there's a chance, even in DC.
If you’re keeping score, that would be throughout (a) most of the FISC-authorized surveillance; (b) the Mueller investigation, which somehow failed to detect — or at least to report — that Danchenko misled the bureau; and (c) Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s investigations of the FBI’s misconduct in the Trump investigation — in the reports of which there is no indication that Horowitz was told Danchenko was on the bureau payroll and available to be interviewed.
There’s more. Although Danchenko was the most important source for Steele’s explosive allegations against Trump, the FBI did not interview him prior to using Steele’s dossier in its first two sworn surveillance applications, in October 2016 and January 2017. When the bureau finally got around to questioning Danchenko — because it hadn’t been able to corroborate Steele’s claims despite relying on them in court — it learned that Steele appeared to have exaggerated and possibly fabricated rumors and innuendo about Trump that Danchenko was said to have passed along.
Durham’s investigation indicates that Danchenko lied to the FBI multiple times, falsehoods that should have been easy for the nation’s flagship federal investigative agency to run down. Yet they kept him on board, kept paying him.
But it gets worse. While the bureau used inane, unverified information from Steele and Danchenko to suggest to a court that the president of the United States might be a Russian asset, the FBI had intelligence indicating that Danchenko himself might actually have been a Russian asset.
That was detailed in yet another Durham court filing last week, in the Virginia federal court where Danchenko is soon scheduled to be tried. The prosecutor related that Danchenko was "the subject of an FBI counterintelligence from 2009 to 2011."
[FoxNews] A Las Vegas police officer was captured on body cam footage taking down a suspect with her gun after he shot her, sending her to the ground.
Officer Tierney Tomburo, 24, pulled over a vehicle for a traffic infraction around 1:13 a.m. on September 10 in the 3900 block of University Center Drive.
The vehicle’s three occupants were asked to exit the vehicle and walk to the front of the patrol SUV. The occupants complied until one of them – later identified as 27-year-old Gabriel Charles – fled on foot. Officer Tomburo ran after Charles while another officer detained the other two suspects.
During the foot pursuit, Charles pulled out a handgun and fired at Tomburo, striking her in the hip. In body cam footage released by Las Vegas police, Tomburo can be seen falling to the ground, yet manages to fire four rounds at Charles, striking him in the torso.
Additional officers arrived on scene and transported officer Tomburo to UMC Trauma. Charles was taken into custody and transported to Sunrise Trauma where he succumbed to his injuries, police said. The Clark County coroner said Charles' hometown was not known and his death was ruled a homicide.
A video released by LVMPD two days after the shooting shows officer Tomburo leaving the hospital where her fellow officers were lined up to greet her.
"We appreciated all of the concern and will wishes for Ofc. Tomburo," LVMPD said in a statement.
Tomburo has been employed by Las Vegas police since 2020, the department said. She was placed on administrative leave pending district attorney and departmental reviews of the shooting.

Local sources in northern Afghanistan’s Balkh province confirmed the poisoning at a transportation company’s party, reporting that 27 people were poisoned and 5 died, all of whom were company employees.
According to sources in Balkh province, the guests’ drinks at the party were infected with the poison, and those who were exposed and poisoned suffered severe diarrhea.
Five drivers, all of whom were natives of Faryab, a northern province of Afghanistan, died during the party that took place last night, September 17, among the employees of the transportation company, which included drivers and other staff members.
At this time, no additional information or specific details, nor the means by which the drinks were poisoned, have been made public.
The Taliban local officials have confirmed the veracity of the food poisoning case, however, they have not provided any further information.
Earlier in June, twenty-five people were poisoned during a wedding in Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan after eating contaminated food. The food poisoning victims included 10 children and 15 women.

In the Dairy Industry the "Best By [date]" was often a SWAG (Scientific Wild-Ass Guess) because being exposed to heat could spoil pasteurized dairy milk in hours! Backtracking the Best-Buy Date gave you the Production Date and allowed the Industry to provide the licensing authorities an identifier that they had demanded.
