This Week in Guns, June 9th, 2018

By Chris Covert
Rantburg.com

Rantburg's summary for arms and ammunition:

Pistol ammunition prices were mostly steady. Rifle ammunition prices were mostly steady.

Prices for used pistols were mostly higher. Prices for used rifles were higher.

For the fourth week running used AR-15 prices have averaged out to below $500. Unlike handguns, which show definite continuing strengths in pricing/value, the AR-15 shows very few signs of strength in price/value recovery.

These signs are amazing, especially in view of the efforts of anti Liberty people trying to suppress sales of new AR rifles. Concomitantly, AR ammunition shows zero signs of reaction to anti Second Amendment efforts. You'd think they'd get that one thing right.

#6  The Chinese have a series of infrastructure problems manufacturing the internals of 4th Gen fighters, much less the 5th Gen that they are writing about here. Engines, electronics, RAM coatings all seem to be always "5 years from now".
There seems to be quite a few countries suffering from that disease lately. India, Russia, China, the USA of course, all have major programs that just do not seem to get anywhere.
