In early March, I wrote that the conflict in Ukraine was waiting for the inevitable "Syrianization". Not everyone agreed with this, and six months after the start of the NWO, this became obvious.
1. Fronts with bastion cities took shape and stabilized.
2. The enemy is increasingly and systematically falling into purely terrorist methods of warfare.
3. The size of the theater of operations exceeds the available forces of both sides, despite all efforts to build up groupings.
4. The supply of foreign weapons plays a significant role in maintaining the intensity of the conflict when it is impossible to completely block the channels of these supplies.
5. The high proportion of the role of foreign mercenaries and special services in organizing the activities of the enemy.
6. Inevitable provocations in the spirit of the "White Helmets" and playing the WMD card.
7. Complete paralysis of the negotiation process due to the desire of the sponsors of the conflict to achieve their goals at any cost.
8. Terrorist attacks in cities in Russia, committed by terrorists who present territorial claims to Russia.
There is no direct comparison here, Ukraine is Syria at maximum speed. The fighting on its territory will go on for a long time, destroying what is still left of Ukraine.
From an economic point of view, Ukraine, like Syria, is in for a catastrophe. A significant part of its infrastructure will simply be destroyed within the framework of the chosen war format. Systematically, something will be rebuilt only in the territories under the control of the Russian Federation, which Russia considers its own.
It can also be guaranteed that the CTO regime will operate in the liberated territories for a long time, and inside the country terrorist attacks by the Nazis will compete with terrorist attacks by the Islamists.
For Russia, as well as for the United States, this is a war not only for control over territories, but also a struggle for the configuration of the future world order, where the survival of Ukraine as a state is not important, as well as the economic survival of Europe, which is not an actor of ongoing changes, but their victim.
Just as the Syrian war reshaped the entire Middle East, the war in Ukraine will reshape the existing world order. For the Russian Federation, as well as for the United States, this is not a sprint, but a stayer distance, for which one must be prepared (although this cannot be said for the whole society and states yet), as well as for the continuation of hostilities in the winter, spring and summer of 2023.
Let me remind you that Palmyra was taken in March 2016, Aleppo - in December 2016, Deir ez-Zor was released in September 2017. And Idlib has not been taken so far. This is to the frequent question of the pace and whining "why so slow".
As in Syria, in Ukraine we are at war not only with an army of local terrorists. Behind them, as in Syria, stands our main enemy - the United States and its European satellites. Therefore, the conflict turned into a grueling confrontation not only on the streets of Soledar or Marinka, but also on the fields of economic and political battles for the future world order.
The task of the Russian Federation is simple and complex at the same time - to resist this confrontation and achieve its goals. For this, considerable efforts will have to be made by the state and society.
Slackness and underestimation of the threats from our enemies, who are constantly raising the stakes, must be met with an adequate response. It will no longer be possible to return to the departure station or press the stop valve. Having taken on increased obligations and acting as a historically subject country, the Russian Federation simply has no choice but to move forward towards achieving its goals.

[DailySignal] Many leftists tout Canada’s socialized health care system as something America should emulate, claiming government-run health care is more humane. But it seems Canadian officials are more interested in urging doctors to help patients to kill themselves than to treat them.
America’s neighbor to the north has some of the most permissive euthanasia laws in the world. Canada’s medical assistance in dying laws allow almost anyone who can claim some form of hardship or disability to receive physician-assisted suicide, regardless of how minor those disabilities might be.
In a recently reported horror story from The Associated Press, Alan Nichols, 61, was successfully killed after a quick one month waiting period as he was suffering from hearing loss. Nichols was an otherwise decently healthy guy, but his brother claimed he was railroaded into killing himself.
Nichols’ family said that hospital staff helped him request euthanasia and pushed him to do it, a story that has been repeated many times by other disabled or sick Canadians.
Roger Foley, whose story was also reported by The Associated Press, became so unnerved by his hospital’s health care providers discussing euthanasia as an option that he started to record conversations. Foley has a degenerative brain disorder.
During one reported conversation, the hospital’s director of ethics tried to guilt Foley into thinking about the cost of his hospital stay. The director told Foley it would cost “north of $1,500 a day.”
When Foley asked what long-term treatments were, the director responded, “Roger, this is not my show. My piece of this was to talk to you, [to see] if you had an interest in assisted dying.”
Foley says he had never discussed ending his own life prior to the encounter.
The fact that the ethics director mentioned how much it cost is essential to understanding why Canadian officials seem so hellbent on getting people to kill themselves.
There are a flurry of stories of Canadians choosing to die over living through crushing poverty. The Spectator reported on a woman who chose because she “simply cannot afford to keep on living.”
As the Canadian government pays for health care, it is incentivized to cut costs as much as possible. Based on how eager some hospitals seem to push euthanasia, the government seems to have concluded that it’s cheaper to kill people than to cure them.
That’s ditto for the disabled and mentally ill.
Global News Canada reported that a Canadian military veteran, pursuing treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder and a brain injury, was told, completely unprovoked, that he could receive medical assistance in dying by a Veterans Affairs Canada agent. (Global News did not name the veteran, or the sources for the conversation.)
The man fights for his country, receives injuries in the line of duty, and is told that he can kill himself for his sacrifice. How humane.
While these stories are all disgusting, they lay out perfectly the biggest danger of importing a government-run health care system to the U.S.
When the government decides who gets medical care and when they get care, it also can decide who doesn’t.
With the relatively substandard care that America’s poor and vulnerable get under Medicaid, for example, why would we want to give more power to government bureaucrats over patients’ health care decisions?
Something not often considered in the debate over government health care plays into the country’s current fascination with obliterating gender and sex differences.
Scores of children are being given hormones and treatments that will permanently warp and scar them. What’s to stop some future government-run health care program from destroying a confused child’s body and then encouraging him to kill himself rather than deal with the consequences?
Canada is already beginning to consider allowing so-called mature minors to off themselves if the government determines them competent enough to make the decision.
Dying with Dignity, a pro-euthanasia group, posted a ghoulish blog post on mature minors and medical assistance in dying that urged the government to extend the option to children “at least 12 years of age and capable of making decisions with respect to their health.”
The left already claims children are mature enough to change their sex, so giving 12-year-olds the ability to legally kill themselves seems like the logical next step.
Worse, this push for suicide seems to be having a tangible impact on the number of people taking their own lives.
Canadian federal data shows that 10,064 people died in 2021 by medically-assisted suicide, a massive 32% jump from the year before.

[PJ] Morning Consult has reported five years’ worth of data from over 8.6 million participants that shows a trend of America’s registered voters moving steadily to the ideological right.
"The left is losing the battle for the minds of the American electorate, Morning Consult research shows, with voters decreasingly identifying as liberal in recent years," writes Morning Consult political reporter Eli Yokley. "But that doesn’t mean the country is lurching to the right."
Yokley then makes an effort to pretend the trend isn’t what it looks like: "Instead, an increase in the share of Americans who identify as moderate, or who are uncertain about where exactly they stand on the ideological spectrum, reveals a growing and electorally decisive center that is discontented with either side’s extremes."
Except that the percentage of voters who identify as conservative actually increased slightly, while only those who call themselves liberal decreased. Call me crazy but that just sounds like Democrats are turning away from far-left ideology to become more moderate:
The share of the electorate who identifies as "very liberal," "liberal" or "somewhat liberal" on a seven-point scale has dropped over the past five years, from 34% to 27%, according to extensive annual Morning Consult survey research conducted among more than 8.6 million U.S. voters since 2017.
Meanwhile, "Even as Democratic voters drift toward the middle, the data shows that the Republican Party’s adherents are shifting further to the right — and it’s happening quickly," writes Yokley.
Or to put it another way, the whole country is moving in a rightward direction.
This trend is concurrent with the largest group of people consistently falling into the conservative camp — 39% in 2022, from 38% in 2017. Meanwhile, the liberal cohort has shrunk from a high of 34% in 2017 to a mere 27% as of now. Moderates and folks who don’t know what they are round out the results at 27% five years ago and 35% today.

Yes - and it's fuelled largely by changes within the Sikh community, according to a study by US-based Pew Research Center.
The non-profit think tank studied the data from the latest National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5) - the most comprehensive household survey of health and social indicators by the Indian government, conducted between 2019-2021 - with a special focus on how gender imbalance at birth has been changing within India's major religious groups.
The study says sex ratio at birth (SRB) has been improving for Hindus, Moslems and Christians, but the biggest change seems to be among Sikhs - the group that previously had the greatest gender imbalance.
Experts, however, advise caution while interpreting this data as the survey covers only about 630,000 of India's 300 million households.
"The true picture will be known only after the census which counts the entire population and provides a more accurate account," says researcher and activist muppet Sabu George.
India's well-documented preference for sons has historically led to a very skewed sex ratio in favour of men.
It's rooted in widely-held cultural beliefs that a male child would carry the family name, look after the parents in their old age, and perform the rituals on their death - while daughters would cost them dowries and leave them for their matrimonial homes.
This anti-girl bias, coupled with the easy availability of pre-natal sex screening from the 1970s, has seen tens of millions of female foetuses aborted - a process known as female foeticide.
