A bankruptcy hearing for non-payment of council tax involving Roger Hayes, chairman of the 'British Constitution Group,' ended in uproar when his supporters - several hundred of whom had massed outside - stormed Birkenhead County Court and "arrested" Judge Michael Peake.
Protestors from the public gallery charged at Mr Peake to make a civil arrest chanting arrest that judge.
Police scrambled over court benches to control the near riot and one protester shouted seal the court.
As I reported last week, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms sat by and watched as known members of Mexican drug cartels purchased thousands of weapons, approving mass sales of firearms like the AK-47 that were reported by law abiding gun shop owners to the agency.
It is important to remember that the Obama Administation and the Department of Homeland Security have implied that much of the violence in Mexico is to blame on law abiding gun shop owners who "sell to cartel members" and the Second Amendment, yet continued exposure of Operation Gun Runner shows the government approving the sales reported by shop owners to ATF, giving the green light for weapons to flow freely across the border into dangerous hands, resulting in thousands of innocent deaths in Mexico and Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in Arizona earlier this year. ATF sat by and watched as known criminals purchased the weapons they needed to carry out lethal operations with no take downs of cartels as a result, all while using law abiding gun shop owners as a cover.
ATF "let guns walk" into Mexico without informing the Mexican government. Lawmakers in Mexico are now demanding information about the operation. Interview with NRA spokesman at link. Needless to say, the NRA is more than a little pissed. If this is bad as it seems to be, people at the ATF need to be arrested and thrown in jail and whatever politician green lighted this needs impeached and imprisoned.
At 2 p.m. Friday at the White House, Obama will honor the Blackhawks for their 2009-2010 Stanley Cup victory. The president invited the team to Washington, D.C., for a ceremony and a children's street hockey clinic on the South Lawn. Well, what is he supposed to do? The high schools wouldn't have him.
Via the Blaze. Believe it or not, the 90 seconds in the video aren't the dumbest part; go read the blockquote from his extended floor remarks at Ace's site for his unified field theory of how all jobs ultimately flow from the First Amendment. Usually it's the Commerce Clause that's cited when the left wants to justify a power grab towards a command economy, so give JJJ credit for originality at least. Modern day, "Chicken in every pot" speech. Watch the video, if you can suppress your gag reflex.

DV, that's a big "if". Over the years I've heard plenty enough from junior and his daddy to know that I don't wanna listen to any more. But I'm sure it'll be interesting to those who haven't.
Embattled NPR CEO Vivian Schiller resigned Wednesday after a hidden-camera video was released showing a fellow executive criticizing Republicans as "anti-intellectual" and calling the Tea Party "racist."
The resignation caps a tumultuous period for Schiller and comes just two days after she delivered a major speech in Washington outlining her vision for NPR's future. NPR Board of Directors Chairman Dave Edwards, in a statement on NPR's website, said the board accepted Schiller's decision, which is "effective immediately," with regret.
"The Board accepted her resignation with understanding, genuine regret, and great respect for her leadership of NPR these past two years," he said.
The announcement was made one day after a conservative activist released an undercover video showing an NPR senior executive criticizing conservatives. NPR swiftly condemned the comments by Ron Schiller, who is not related to Vivian Schiller. Ron Schiller later apologized and, though he was already planning to leave NPR to join the Aspen Institute, said his resignation as a senior vice president and president of the NPR Foundation would be effective immediately. So long screwy. Defund NPR now!

Unacceptable. It's an institutionalized atmosphere of hate and intolerance. I recommend the solution that the left has jammed down the throats of every other organization and institution. Mandatory education classes, goals for diversity representation in hiring and promoting, and a filing of compliance with such implementations. [Oh, this could be fun]

Fox News On-Line Poll as to whether NPR should continue to recieve federal funding has 93% against federal funding.
I'm sure the left will ignore this poll since their viewers are all nazi racist homophobic bigoted prejudiced gun/religious clingers in flyover territory. Unlike me, of course.

Well, kinda...
WASHINGTON The chairman of NPR's board of directors says the board asked chief executive Vivian Schiller to step down after another executive called the tea party racist.
NPR chairman Dave Edwards said Wednesday that accepting Schiller's resignation was difficult. She stepped down a day after a conservative activist posted a video showing NPR executive Ron Schiller calling tea party Republicans xenophobic and racist.
Vivian Schiller says NPR is facing the most serious threat yet to its congressional funding. She says there's extraordinary pressure on Congress to make cuts and the remarks by Ron Schiller were outrageous and unfortunate at such a critical time.
There's money on the line here, folks. If Vivian can't control her people, she's gotta "pursue other interests"...

I have a muck rake and rake muck. How much muck can a muckraker muck when a muckraker does rake muck?

Watched the whole two hours. What I like best was how they immediately sat down and ordered wine with such devout Moooslims. Then at dessert, Schiller went into a quarter hour rif on how wonderful Madiera was and how it was invented and the pros and cons of the 1948 versus 1930 vintages.
