[DailyWire] Attorney General Bill Barr has appointed a U.S. attorney to investigate the origins of the Russia investigation and to determine if the FBI's surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016 was legal. Hold me in contempt, you little shits? How you like these apples?
The Associated Press reported that a source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that Barr "appointed John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to conduct the inquiry."
"The inquiry will focus on whether the government’s methods to collect intelligence relating to the Trump campaign were lawful and appropriate," The AP added. "Durham has previously investigated law enforcement corruption, the destruction of CIA videotapes and the Boston FBI office’s relationship with mobsters." That tiny slamming sound you heard was sphincters in DS and Dem assholes everywhere
In April, a Trump administration official told Fox News that Barr had assembled a team to investigate the origins of the FBI the Obama administration's FBI counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign.
"I am reviewing the conduct of the investigation and trying to get my arms around all the aspects of the counterintelligence investigation that was conducted during the summer of 2016," Barr said during a congressional hearing in April. That last statement, made before congress, was what we politically refer to as a "Veiled Threat" to the congressional dems. You didn't listen. Now the mechanics of government are going to grind right over your failed coup attempt.

Appears AG Barr has selected the right man for the job.
[MAIL] In his remarks on Monday, Rosenstein defended his actions while taking aim at Comey, who recently said that the former deputy attorney general’s soul had been ‘eaten’ by Trump.
‘Now the former director seems to be acting as a partisan pundit, selling books and earning speaking fees while speculating about the strength of my character and the fate of my immortal soul,’ Rosenstein said.
‘I kid you not. That is disappointing.’
Rosenstein delivered his speech to some 1,000 people at the annual Greater Baltimore Committee dinner, according to CNN.
He insisted that his decisions were not driven by partisan politics but by the rule of law.
[FOX] Former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and a top immigration official challenged a previously secret White House plan to arrest thousands of migrant parents and children in nearly a dozen U.S. cities, Fox News confirmed Monday.
The Trump administration wanted to target migrant families that had crossed into the U.S. from Mexico in attempt to show that the U.S. wasn't going to back down on its border stance by detaining and deporting illegal immigrant families, The Washington Post first reported, citing several current and former Homeland Security officials.

Noticed that, AA5839? I get calls all the time that are probably surveys, but I don't answer em. They throw out the answers that don't fit their template anyway.

Seems it was only yesterday that we had a socialist and a Muslim president.
And black. And gay metrosexual. And urban elitist.
[Babylon Bee] WASHINGTON, D.C.‐After a long day in the office Monday, congressional representative Rashida Tlaib reportedly popped a bag of popcorn, settled back into her chair, and watched her favorite heartwarming concentration camp scenes from Steven Spielberg's classic film Schindler's List.
"This scene where this Jewish girl gets shot in cold blood---it just provides me with a really great calming feeling," she said, according to frightened aides, as she leaned back and took in her favorite scene in the movie. "A real, enormous sense of peace and tranquility."
"I mean, of course, because my ancestors provided a place the Jews could settle," she quickly added. "I definitely don't mean the Holocaust itself is calming. But still, when I think about it, I just feel these waves of serenity breaking over me like a summer storm."
Rep. Tlaib then sighed contentedly as she set the film to play the scene in repeat for the next several hours.
