FBI finally probing ‘super mayor' Tiffany Henyard ‐ who is accused of corruption ‐ as Illinois AG shuts her charity: sources
You wuz DUM. Shoulda stayed below the limelight. See: Marilyn Moseby, Fani Willis, ...
[NYPost] The FBI is probing self-described "super mayor" Tiffany Henyard over mounting accusations of misconduct and misuse of office — as the Illinois Attorney General shut down her charity Tuesday, The Post has learned.

The eccentric mayor — whose face is plastered across billboards in tiny Dolton, Ill. — is accused of spending taxpayer money on lavish an unnecessary trips and forking over one million dollars on a police detail then using them to retaliate against her percieved enemies.

Lawrence Gardner, 57, said he visited an FBI office after Henyard shuttered his trucking business because he refused to renew a $3,500 political contribution.

"The FBI came out and went to talk to me and I gave them all the paperwork that I had,"

The business owner said he made an initial donation to Henyard, but she demanded more.

"I made the payment," he said. "Then every year, she started coming and required the same thing, and we had a problem about that."

When he refused to give her campaign more money, officials claimed he was illegally selling alcohol out of his business and pulled his license, according to Gardner, who said the allegations against him were false.

The FBI told Gardner they received scores of complaints against Henyard "but they were just starting an investigation," he recalled.

"She said we are going to get her," he said, referring to an FBI agent. "It just takes time. We have to make sure we have all our i’s dotted and t’s crossed."

The FBI investigation, first reported by Fox 32, is also using electronic surveillance, the station reported.

Sherry Britton, a vocal Dolton resident, said the FBI paid her a visit last week, but she is remaining tight lipped on their advice.

"I want to see her stopped," Britton told The Post Wednesday. "This has to come to an end. This has to stop, it’s ridiculous."

A spokesperson for Henyard told The Post they are unaware of any investigation, saying: "Mayor Tiffany Henyard and the Village of Dolton have not received any subpoenas and have not been contacted by the FBI or any other law enforcement agency."

Arizona prosecutor slams ‘soft-on-crime' DA Bragg, refuses to send suspect in Soho hotel murder back to NYC
[NY Post] An Arizona prosecutor took a scathing swipe at progressive Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg Wednesday, saying she won’t ship the suspect in a vicious Soho hotel slaying back to the Big Apple because "it’s safer to keep him here."

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said Raad Almansoori, who is sought in the beating death of a Queens mom at a Manhattan hotel earlier this month, will remain behind bars on her turf because of Bragg’s track record handling hardened criminals.

"I know there’s been discussion about New York wanting to extradite this individual," Mitchell said during a press conference. "This is not aimed at the New York Police Department at all. I know they did a hard job and they did a good job. But we will not be agreeing to extradition.

"I’ve instructed my extradition attorneys not to agree to that," she said. "We’re gonna keep him here. These are mandatory prison sentences. Having observed the treatment of violent criminals in the New York area by the Manhattan DA there, Alvin Bragg, I think it’s safer to keep him here.

"And keep him in custody so that he cannot be out doing this to individuals either in our state, county or anywhere in the United States."

Almansoori, 26, is being held without bail in Arizona on charges that he carjacked and stabbed one woman and kidnapped and slashed a McDonald’s employee last week — just days after the NYPD says he beat and strangled Denisse Oleas-Arancibia to death inside Soho 54 Hotel on. Feb. 7.

Oleas-Arancibia, who moved to New York from Ecuador, was reportedly working as an escort when she booked a date with Almansoori, police said. He allegedly got into a dispute with her over how much time paid for, according to authorities.

The accused killer has lived in Texas, Florida and Arizona, where his family still lives, and left a trail of busts and crimes along the way, including an open Florida criminal case for which he’s free on bail.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said this week that the department hoped to extradite the career criminal back to Manhattan to face murder charges in the Soho case.

But that was before Mitchell put the brakes on the plan.

In a statement Wednesday, Bragg spokesperson Emily Tuttle fired back at the Arizona prosecutor.

"It is deeply disturbing that DA Mitchell is playing political games in a murder investigation," Tuttle said. "In Manhattan, we are serious about New Yorkers’ safety, which is why murders are down 24% and shootings are down 38% since D.A. Bragg took office.

"New York’s murder rate is less than half that of Phoenix, Arizona, because of the hard work of the NYPD and all of our law enforcement partners," she added. "It is a slap in the face to them and to the victim in our case to refuse to allow us to seek justice and full accountability for a New Yorker’s death."
Yahoo adds:
Raad Almansoori, the man police said is wanted for beating and strangling a 38-year-old mother to death inside a SoHo hotel room, has an extensive criminal history spanning multiple states, including New York.

The 26-year-old is also connected to multiple crimes in Florida, Arizona and Texas, according to the NYPD. Almansoori has a history of targeting women, some of whom are escorts, police said.

James Biden reveals he THREW OUT a second diamond gifted to Hunter by the Chinese to 'entice' him to do business: The president's brother also admits there was NO loan documentation for $200,000 and $40,000 checks to Joe during impeachment testimony
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • James Biden insisted that his brother had never benefitted or know about his work with CEFC or Americore

  • He went on: 'I never asked my brother to take any official action on behalf of me, my business associates, or anyone else'

  • But he told investigators that Hunter was given a diamond from top officials at Chinese energy company CEFC while his father was vice president

  • James also admitted there there was no loan documentation for the funds he provided his president brother

James Biden ‘contradicted' himself during testimony on brother's involvement in family business: GOP lawmakers

[FoxNews] The president’s brother initially said he was not part of a deal with his nephew Hunter Biden and business associates Rob Walker, Tony Bobulinski, and James Gilliar, according to a source familiar with the interview.

But when presented with an agreement with his signature on it, Biden changed his story, saying he did not recall signing the agreement, the source said.

#2  Wash Post: May 31, 2022 "James Biden took out his iPhone early one morning in September 2017 and tapped a quick message to his nephew Hunter. It was, as usual, filled with typos. It was also, as usual, filled with exclamation points meant to convey his exuberance. “Hunter, we are cut from the same cloth,” James Biden wrote. “… You are a fine and yes, a gentle person. Believe it or not, I know you. Sounds corney, but we both deserve to enjoy the moment. Concentrate on the good in our lives and try to step out of all the bullshit you deal with...” The exchange comes from a copy of a hard drive that Hunter Biden purportedly dropped off...
James and Hunter Biden were in the midst of a lucrative deal with Chinese executives at the time, while Joe Biden was out of public service for the first time in nearly a half-century, having left the vice presidency a few months earlier. Hunter Biden was also wrestling with drug addiction, financial problems and a relationship with his late brother Beau’s widow that had become public. ... Hunter Biden turned to his uncle, at least as much as to his famous father, for emotional support." ...bla bla bla

Chicago Mayor Johnson abruptly ends meeting with newspaper after refusing to speak on the record
[FoxNews] Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson abruptly ended a meeting this week with one of his city's most prominent newspapers after refusing to go on the record.

The Chicago Sun-Times published a blistering report Tuesday about the Democrat's icy relationship with the City Hall press corps, insisting any "honeymoon" he may have had with the media since taking office last year is over.

"The City Hall press corps has turned hostile, openly frustrated with a mayor who is seldom accessible and evasive when he does take questions," the Sun-Times reported. "Newspaper editorials are critical and, at times, disdainful while portraying Johnson as in over his head."

#5  Well, the journalism degree from the colleges was before the colleges came up with the new DEI scam. Journalism is a dying market because its now competing against other information sources. DEI still has the deep pockets of taxpayers and endowments to leech off of. It's been hit too by the overall economic downturn but it metastasizes in the HR departments for commercial entities. So the colleges can still scam another generation or so.

New York City law to let non-citizens vote ruled unconstitutional in appellate court
A win for the good guys of both parties.
[FoxNews] The law been on hold for more than two years after it passed following legal challenges and opposition from many Republicans.

A New York state appeals court has denied an attempt by New York City leaders to implement a law that would let non-citizens vote in local elections.

In a 3-1 ruling issued Wednesday by the Appellate Division for the Second Judicial Department, the body said the law violated the New York Constitution and Municipal Home Rule Law.

It "must be declared null and void," the court said in a 43-page ruling.

The law was passed in December 2021 by the City Council and created a class of "municipal voters," comprising non-citizens who reside in the city for at least 30 days before an election and register or pre-register to vote. Municipal voters would be granted the right to participate in elections for mayor, public advocate, comptroller, borough president and council member.

The law faced legal challenges almost immediately.

It would have applied to some 800,000 new eligible voters in a city of 8.5 million. However, the appellate court said that the clause in the state constitution that says "every citizen shall be entitled to vote…" applies exclusively to U.S. citizens.

"As there is no reference to non-citizens, and thus, an irrefutable inference applies that non-citizens were intended to be excluded from those individuals entitled to vote in elections," the court said.

New York Mayor Eric Adams enacted the law upon taking office in January 2022. It was ruled illegal several months later. The mayor defended the law and appealed a lower ruling against it.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Adams' office and it was not clear if he would appeal Wednesday's ruling.

Many Democrats championed the law, saying it would make the city's politics more inclusive, while Republicans contended it could lead to voter fraud and that Democrats were only looking to pad their numbers.

"Great news! We won in the appellate court and @NYCMayor’s attempt to implement the law to register non-citizens to vote in #NYC elections has been struck down," U.S. Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-New York, posted on X. "This is a big victory in preserving both the integrity of our elections & the voice of American citizens!

Malliotakis, who represents New York's borough of Staten Island, was one of several plaintiffs to sue over the law, along with Borough President Vito Fossella.

"Fortunately, common sense prevails in New York, thanks to the decision reached by the Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department. The New York State Constitution is clear in that only citizens can vote in our local elections. It is simply irresponsible and nonsensical to extend this right to non-citizens. We are pleased that the Appellate court shared this understanding. This is a win for New York citizens and upholds the integrity of our elections," Fossella said.

The New York Immigration Coalition said it was disappointed in the ruling.

Also, it would be an admission that those individuals did in fact commit a crime by crossing the border. The dems have been resisting that admission up to now.
