Video: Special Forces target Taliban cells likely involved in Kabul attacks
One minute video can be seen at the link.
[Khaama Press] The Afghan Special Forces conducted raids on Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
compounds in central Maidan Wardak province to degrade the abilities of the group to conduct attacks in Kabul using their hideouts in the neighboring province.

"8th Special Operations Kandak Commandos, advised by U.S. Special Operations Forces, conducted raids on suspected Taliban compounds in Sayyidabad district, Wardak province, Afghanistan, May 24-25, 2018," the Resolute Support Mission stated in a short statement posted with the video of the Special Forces operation.

The source further adds that "The Taliban uses Wardak’s close proximity to Kabul to plan their high profile attacks; clearing their compounds and seizing their weapons disrupts their ability to carry out attacks on innocent Afghans."

This comes as the murderous Moslem groups are attempting to carry out terrorist related activities in key provinces and cities of the country, including Kabul.

A group of at least ten hard boyz launched a coordinated attack near the Ministry of Ministry of Interior compound at around 12:10 pm local time on Wednesday as they were attempting to storm into the main compound of the ministry.

However,
a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all...
the ministry said the Afghan forces reacted on time and quickly to suppress the attack and managed to eliminate all the hard boyz involved in they manage to enter the compound of the ministry.

According to the ministry of interior the hard boyz managed to reach to the entrance gate of the ministry compound by disguising themselves in military uniforms and using armored vehicles.

US says air strike kills 12 militants in Somalia
[AlAhram] A US air strike in Somalia killed 12 bully boyz from the Shabaab, an al-Qaeda affiliate that launches regular attacks on targets in the African nation, the United States Africa Command said on Friday.

It said US forces conducted the strike on Thursday in conjunction with Somalia's government about 30 miles (48 kilometers) southwest of Mogadishu.

The Shabaab was pushed out of Somalia's capital in 2011, and subsequently from other towns and cities, by soldiers from the African Union

Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).

But the Islamists still hold sway in large parts of the countryside. They launch regular gun and kabooms on government, military and civilian targets in Mogadishu as well as ambushes on military convoys and outposts.

Somali commandos often carry out operations side-by-side with the American forces that train them. Air assaults and missile strikes have increased in recent months.

This was the 11th American strike against the Shabaab since the beginning of the year.

[IsraelTimes] IDF says Paleostinian man rubbed out after trying to run over troops with small tractor in West Bank city; no soldiers injured

Israeli troops thwarted an attempted car-ramming attack Saturday in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, the army said.

The driver of the vehicle tried to run over soldiers stationed on a road leading to the Tomb of the Patriarchs but was rubbed out by troops, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

The army said the Paleostinian assailant first attempted to run over an officer and another soldier with a small tractor.

"The force performed the protocols for stopping a suspicious person, during which the terrorist turned around and continued to drive in order to run over civilians passing by," the IDF said.

"Another soldier standing on the roof of a nearby building identified the threat toward the civilians on the road and shot up the terrorist, from which he was killed," it added.

The army said the attacker was a 35-year-old from the nearby village of Beit Ummar. Paleostinian media named him as Rami Sabarnah.

No soldiers were maimed during the incident, the IDF said.

U.S., French military deployments reach eastern Euphrates: Source
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The U.S.-led Coalition has brought additional military reinforcements to northeast of Syria, in the wake of remarks by the Syrian President threatening the Syrian Democratic Forces, an informed Kurdish source said on Saturday.

Speaking on condition of anonymity to BasNews website, the source said deploying French troops "in Deir az-Zour as well as the air cover by the U.S.-Coalition shows readiness to respond to whatever violation by the region against its allies, the Syrian Democratic Forces."

"La Belle France recently deployed missiles in Deir az-Zour countryside, fearing progress by the regime forces or its militias against eastern Euphrates region, controlled by SDF," he added.

The missiles, according to the source, "were previously used against the locations of the regime or its militias inside Deir az-Zour."

The U.S. State Department previously said it does not seek fighting Syrian or Iranian troops, however, it will use necessary and proportional force to defend the U.S. troops or its partners in war against Islamic State

terrorist group carried out a series of Arclight airstrikes on Syria’s northeastern province of Hasakah.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Saturday that at least 12 people had been killed the previous night as airstrikes and artillery fire by the Western military contingent struck the village of Hidaj, which is located in the southern sector of the province and controlled by ISIS.

The Britannia-based monitor added that the civilians, including two women and their children, belonged to the same family.

The Observatory further noted that the latest deaths brought to "20 the number of civilians killed by the coalition over the past 24 hours east of the Euphrates River."

Eight non-combatants were killed on Thursday, when the US-led coalition bombarded an area in Syria’s eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr.

Local sources told Syria’s official news agency SANA on May 1 that 25 people had been killed in US-led aerial attacks against al-Fadhel village near al-Shaddadi town in the southern part of Hasakah province, located 650 kilometers northeast of the capital Damascus.

The sources added that there were two elderly men among the dear departed, noting that the fatalities mainly consisted of women and kiddies.
