[ToloNews] A kaboom targeted the vehicle of a religious scholar, Mawllawi Abdul Salam Abid, the Interior Ministry said, adding that Abid and three companions suffered slight injuries.
Eyewitnesses told TOLOnews that the earth-shattering kaboom was due to a magnetic kaboom. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in the Parwan-e-Si area of PD4 of Kabul city.
The Hazeras live in Western Kabul city. If Hazeras, then probably ISIS dunnit.
"The security officials will thoroughly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice," the Interior Ministry said in a tweet.
No group has yet grabbed credit.
Former president Hamid Maybe I'll join the Taliban Karzai ...A product, and probably the sole product, of the Southern Alliance... strongly condemned the attack on Abid and wished him good health.
[ToloNews] A dronezap hit a house just inside Afghanistan’s border with Pakistain, apparently targeting a senior member of the Pak Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... , but the missile failed to explode, Pak Taliban sources said on Thursday.
Unexploded? Not one of ours, then. Have they looked for Chinese or Turkish markings on the case?
One of the Taliban officials said the drone fired a missile at a hujra, or guesthouse on the compound of Maulvi Faqir Mohammad, a big shot of the Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistain movement (TTP).
"It was around 3:30 when a drone suddenly appeared in the sky. We got worried and advised Maulvi Faqir to go to a safe place but he refused and argued it was not possible to hide in the day time," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Around half an hour later, when Faqir Mohammad left his own house to visit the guesthouse, the missile struck.
"He was about 3 meters away from the hujra room when the drone fired a missile and hit the same room. Luckily the missile didn’t explode and he and other people around him remained safe," he said.
Faqir Mohammad is a former deputy leader of the TTP who spent eight years in Afghanistan’s Bagram prison before being released by the Afghan Taliban following their shock overthrow of the Western-backed government in Kabul on Aug. 15.
Released and in a fancy compound with guesthouse. Groovy. Though the only ones shocked are in the Biden administration.
The apparent attempt to kill him in a dronezap came after talks to agree over a permanent ceasefire between the TTP and the Pak government broke down last week after the krazed killer movement refused to extend a 30-day truce.
“Hudna’s over. Let the killing begin!”
Khaama Press’s take on the story:
A spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Bilal Karimi said that Pak forces on Thursday, December 16 fires rockets on the Shaltan district of Kunar province ... which is right down the road from Chitral. Kunar is Haqqani country..... Bilal Karimi said that the rockets were fired on mountains and did not give further information about the casualties.
On the other hand, rumors had it that Pak forces have targeted members of Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP) and have killed a key commander of the Taliban but the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan did not confirm the rumor.
Earlier, it was said that Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s has been carried out in Kunar province but the front man has denied any aerial strike in the province.
In the meantime, local residents have claimed that Pak forces want to take more land of Afghanistan and get even closer to the Kunar River.
It is worth mentioning that rocket shells by Pakistain on Kunar province are not new but the country has often been firing rockets on the province that often lead to financial loss and casualties.
[Garowe] Government-aligned forces in western Tigray have systematically detained thousands of ethnic Tigrayan people, while torturing and killing many in a campaign of violence, according to a report by two major rights groups that further reveals the scale of abuses in war-hit Æthiopia.
In the past few weeks, the report says, Tigrayans in the Amhara region identified by local police and ethnic militia forces called Fano have been routinely rounded up in house-to-house raids. Adults and teenagers over 15 have been detained in overcrowded prisons where scores are tortured and face starvation, it adds.
Women and younger children have been expelled from the three western Tigrayan towns targeted, while many have been killed and tortured, according to witnesses and survivors interviewed in the joint report by Amnesia Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.

[DW] It is believed to be an act of retribution after a small left-wing group vandalized a mosque in Leipzig on Monday. The target was the local office of the Left party.
Unknown assailants threw two sheep heads at the office of a left-wing politician in the East German city of Leipzig on Thursday night, police in the city said.
The perpetrators also set off fireworks and left a note with a message. There was no damage done to the building.
The incident follows an attack on a mosque in the city, allegedly carried out by an extreme left wing group, that sparked outrage locally.
Juliane Nagel, a politician for the Left party in the state of Saxony whose office is in the building that was attacked on Thursday night, told the local Leipziger Zeitung newspaper that: "It's now clear that we've been made responsible for the attack on Monday."
BELIEVED TO BE AN ACT OF DIRE REVENGE
Leipzig police were unable to give details as to who might be behind Thursday's incident, but said that: "Evidence was found at the scene of the crime that suggests a political motivation. For this reason, police state security is taking over for further investigations."
Nagel told the public broadcaster MDR on Friday that pyrotechnics went kaboom! outside the office and that two animal heads were thrown out of a car, as well as a handwritten note that included the word "mosque."
She said on Twitter that she believed it showed her party was being held at fault, at least by the perpetrator, for the vandals' actions: "we are being made responsible for the attack on the mosque, or for not having taken a critical position."
"That's rubbish: We've clearly stated that an attack on a place of prayer and retreat for migrants colonists is wrong!"
MOSQUE WITH OTTOMAN TURKISH TIES
Nagel's criticism of the damage done by an extreme left group at the Leipzig mosque — that left many of the building's windows smashed — was accompanied by a criticism of the mosque's benefactors.
"There's no need to fool yourselves, the imams there are Ottoman Turkish officials, they get their sermons sent over from Istanbul," she had also told the local newspaper Leipziger Volkszeitung in the aftermath.
The mosque belongs to the DITIB network
... the Diyanet İşleri Türk İslam Birliğ department of the Turkish government’s religious department, Turkey’s official religious affairs authority in Germany for the further aggrandizement of Sultan Recep Tayip Erdogan I “the much beloved” in recent years...
which falls under the umbrella of Diyanet, a Ottoman Turkish state-operated religious institution. The organization has been criticized in the past for spreading Ottoman Turkish right-wing nationalism and antisemitism.
The co-chair of the Leipzig migrant advisory board, Francesca Russo, slammed the actions of the small leftist group: "We're shocked that a group of people who claim to be against fascism ...a political system developed in Italy, symbolized by the Roman fasces -- thin reeds, each flimsy in itself but unbreakable when bound into a bundle. Its distinguishing philosophical feature is the Corporate State, which is the alliance of big business and labor with the government in service to the all-powerful State. The word is nowadays thrown around by all sorts of oddballs who have no idea what they're talking about... , oppression and street violence, commit acts of violence themselves."

There is a possible parallel to a religious act, performed during Hajj, which may have bearing here.
Remember: This incident follows an attack on a mosque in the city, allegedly carried out by an extreme left-wing group, that sparked outrage locally. The office attacked is the local office of the Left Party.
Not a fact but rather a conjecture by this poster - Only the revenge seekers know the thought behind their actions.
Further I agree with some of the other statements by the above commenters --- Start getting use to these actions, it could well happen here and people like LA's Attorney George Gascon, will do nothing to stop this kind of lawlessness too.
[IsraelTimes] Group allegedly smashed property in village near Nablus, broke into a home and beat a resident after killing of yeshiva student
A group of holy warrior Israeli settlers assaulted Paleostinians and vandalized property in a West Bank village near Nablus Thursday overnight, Paleostinian media reported Friday, hours after a settler was killed and two others were maimed in a shooting attack.
The reports said dozens of cars were damaged in Qaryut, south of Nablus, and three people were maimed. Assailants broke into the home of one family, smashed furniture and beat one of its inhabitants, Wael Moqbel.
Photos shared on social media showed Moqbel in hospital with intense swelling in his face.
Police said they had received reports of the attack and were investigating the matter.
It seemed likely that the alleged assault was a so-called "price tag" attack following the deadly shooting earlier. Perpetrators claim such attacks are retaliation for Paleostinian violence or government policies seen as hostile to the settler movement.
Recent days have seen a national discussion over settler violence, after Public Security Minister Omer Barlev announced that he had discussed the issue with a visiting American diplomat earlier this week, leading the coalition’s right-wing flank to censure him and defend the settler movement.
Foreign Minister Yair Lapid told an American periodical earlier this month that holy warrior violence is "a stain on Israel."
The past year has seen a substantial increase in violent mostly peaceful attacks by Israeli extremists against Paleostinians.
The fatality from Thursday’s terror shooting was named as Yehudah Dimentman, 25, a father of one from the West Bank settlement of Shavei Shomron. He was a student at the yeshiva, or religious school, in the Homesh outpost in the West Bank, near where the attack took place.
Dimentman and two others were fired on while driving a car as they left Homesh on Thursday night. A military official said the car had been ambushed from the side of the road. The other two passengers sustained light injuries in the attack from broken glass.
Security forces were searching Friday for the perpetrators.
[IsraelTimes] Police say dozens of people rioted, hurled chairs at officers in flashpoint neighborhood
Fresh unrest was reported Friday in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, which has been a flashpoint for demonstrations and rioting in recent months.
Police said dozens of people were rioting and hurling chairs at officers at the scene. A cop was lightly hurt after being hit in the head with one of the chairs and was taken to receive medical care.
Police said they arrested two suspects, one for throwing the chair that hit the policeman and another for making threats.
Sheikh Jarrah, a neighborhood that is a 10-minute train ride away from Jerusalem’s city center, has emerged as a symbolic flashpoint in the Israeli-Paleostinian conflict. Over the past few years, a handful of Jewish nationalists have moved into the mostly Paleostinian neighborhood, mostly through complex eviction cases.
Tensions in the neighborhood have risen in recent months due to long-simmering court battles over dozens of homes in the neighborhood in which Paleostinian families have lived for decades, but which Jewish groups claim legally belong to them.
Many Paleostinians and their supporters see that conflict as part of a larger effort by Israel to expunge their presence from the contested capital. The dispute — along with festivities at the Temple Mount — played a role in the Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede, terror group’s decision to fire a barrage of rockets at Jerusalem in May, sparking a brutal 11-day conflict between Israel and the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Strip.
On Thursday police said prosecutors plan to indict a 14-year-old Paleostinian girl who allegedly stabbed a Jewish woman in Sheikh Jarrah last week.
According to police, the girl planned the morning of the attack to carry out the stabbing, and followed her target — 26-year-old Moriah Cohen — for several minutes before stabbing her in the back in the neighborhood, where they both live.
Cohen — who was with her children at the time of the attack — was treated at the hospital and released the same day.
The past few weeks have seen a rise in Paleostinian terror attacks, with four taking place in Jerusalem alone.
