[REGNUM] On Saturday, the US House of Representatives finally voted to allocate new military aid to Ukraine. The long-awaited amount is impressive - $60.8 billion, and representatives of the Ukrainian Presidential Office hastened to thank the congressmen: after all, this “increases Ukraine’s chances of winning.” However, not by much, since most of the allocated money will be spent by the Americans themselves. Let’s be honest: for six months, the fuss around “aid to Ukraine” has nothing to do with either aid or Ukraine as such. It is simply an excuse to fight over whose side the American military-industrial complex will be on, from which the Democrats received benefits until the end of 2023.
