[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] A gang-affiliated teen accused of kidnapping, stabbing, and disembowling a 14-year-old boy in Washington state has been released on bail. Hayden Scott Lusebrink, 17, of Tulalip, was arrested on December 18 and booked into the Snohomish County Juvenile Detention Center. Judge Jon Scott of the Snohomish County Superior Court set his bail at $300,000, according to court documents obtained by The Post Millennial. The defendant posted bond and was released from custody on December 20, jail records show.
Lusebrink has been charged with first-degree assault, first degree robbery, and first-degree kidnapping. According to a probable cause affidavit, Snohomish County prosecutors said Lusebrink worked with co-accomplice Millorz Canales, 17, of Marysville, to lure the young victim to Lions Park in Everett, a city just north of Seattle, on December 17. The pair allegedly tied the victim to a tree, repeatedly stabbed him, disembowled him, and left him for dead.
After Lusebrink and Canales expeditiously departed at a goodly pace, the 14-year-old victim managed to free himself and escaped to a nearby neighbor's home. The resident called 911 to report that a teen covered in blood arrived on their doorstep. According to court documents, the victim had "traumatic" injuries including multiple stab wounds and was disembowled. The victim told authorities that the two suspects stripped him naked and held him at gunpoint during the attack.

The IDF and Israeli media outlets published stunning new details of one of the most successful nights the Israeli forces have had since the start of the war, with the troops killing 106 Hamas terrorists in the span of around two hours, without losing a single soldier.
"It was the most significant night we remember in the fighting in the northern Gaza Strip," a military source told Army Radio, whose correspondent Doron Kadosh reported the details of the overnight fighting.
The operation followed the end of the siege of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabaliya, where the IDF captured over 240 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists.
On Sunday evening, the Israeli army received intelligence that terrorists planned a large-scale attack on Israeli forces, with the goal of breaking out of the besieged Jabaliya camp, and possibly intending to flee northern Gaza toward the south.
The attack was planned for later that night, to use the darkness and the heavy rain as cover. After receiving the early warning, the Israeli army set up hidden ambushes, in turn using the cover of darkness to hide large forces waiting for the terrorists.

"When this began it was already the third raid into Jabalia. I've actually been to this area twice with the IDF over the last year. The assessment was already that the 'battalions' in this area were dismantled a year ago," Frantzman noted.
"When the IDF returned in October 2024 around 70,000 civilians had to be evacuated and several thousand terrorists were found there, many eliminated or detained. And yet it goes on and on, in just this one area," he added.
According to Army Radio, one of the captured terrorists said he was part of a squad numbering more than 10 terrorists. "This is a Tesla truck, and we know that Elon Musk is working with President-elect Trump, and it’s the Trump Tower," McMahill said when news hounds asked about possible political connections. "So there’s obviously things to be concerned about and it’s something we continue to look at."
The truck explosion came hours after a driver rammed a truck into a crowd in New Orleans’ famed French Quarter early on New Year’s Day, killing at least 15 people before being shot to death by police. That crash was being investigated as a terrorist attack and police believe the driver was not acting alone.
"We are absolutely investigating any connectivity to what happened in New Orleans as well as other attacks that have been occurring around the world," McMahill said. "We aren't ruling anything out."
In a statement, Turo said it was working with authorities.
"We do not believe that either renter involved in the Las Vegas and New Orleans attacks had a criminal background that would have identified them as a security threat," the statement said.
In Las Vegas, witness Ana Bruce, visiting from Brazil, said she heard three explosions.
"The first one where we saw the fire, the second one, I guess, was the battery or something like that, and the third was the big one that smoked the entire area and was the moment when everyone was told to evacuate and stay away," Bruce said.
Her travel companion, Alcides Antunes, showed video he took of flames lapping the sides of the silver-colored vehicle.
The 64-story hotel is just off the Las Vegas Strip and across the street from the Fashion Show Las Vegas shopping mall.
Eric Trump, a son of the president-elect and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, posted about the fire on the social media platform X. He praised the fire department and local law enforcement "for their swift response and professionalism."
Authorities believe fireworks, gas tanks and camping fuel were connected to a detonation system controlled by the driver in the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside a Trump Hotel in Las Vegas Wednesday morning, according to a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.
The vehicle was rented in Colorado and arrived in Las Vegas at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, McMahill said.

Those Cybertrucks are very popular in San Diego County. I see a lot of them on the road. Weird looking things. Mrs. Uluque hates them. Looks like it was built with stealth technology although why you would want a stealthy truck is beyond me.

Something to factor in. I would ask, how good is the auto-nav when it gets off the path, such as a parking lot, or drive through, or baggage unload/valet driveway.

KJP is not suited to situations where she faces tough questions or has to think on her feet. Lib TV or academia are most likely places for her to cash in. They could install her in a Dem district, but she has no ambition that I can discern.

[NYPOST] At least 10 people, including two children, were killed and four others were seriously maimed on Wednesday in a shooting rampage that followed a bar brawl in a western Montenegrin city, officials said. The shooter was on the run.
Police identified the attacker as 45-year-old Aco Martinovic. He killed the owner of the bar in the city of Cetinje, the bar owner's children and his own family members, Interior Minister Danilo Saranovic said at a news conference.
Police dispatched special troops to search for the attacker in Cetinje, located some 30 kilometers (18 miles) northwest of the capital, Podgorica. All the roads in and out of the city have been blocked as police swarmed the streets.
Saranovic described the suspect as dangerous and appealed on the residents to stay indoors.
[IsraelTimes] A gunman who killed at least 10 people in a rampage in a small town in Montenegro died from self-inflicted injuries on Thursday after attempting suicide, the country’s interior minister, Danilo Saranovic, says.
The gunman, identified by police as Aleksandar Martinovic, 45, attempted suicide near his home in the town of Cetinje after being cornered by police.
"When he saw that he was in a hopeless situation, he attempted suicide. He did not succumb to his injuries on the spot, but during the transport to the hospital," Saranovic tells Montenegro’s state broadcaster, RTCG.
Saranovic provides no details on the attempted suicide.
Martinovic was on the run after opening fire on Wednesday afternoon at a restaurant in Cetinje, a small town located 38 km (23.6 miles) west of Podgorica, the Montenegrin capital, where he killed four people.
The shooter then moved on to three other locations, killing at least six more people, including two children, police said. Four other people suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police say Martinovic had a history of illegal weapons possession.
Late on Wednesday, police director Lazar Scepanovic said the suspect was thought to have been drinking heavily before the shooting. Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said there had been a brawl before shots were fired.
Police say the shooting was not thought to be connected to organized crime.

It never got any better, and it climaxed in the shocking display of Obama belittling black men. Because he shared in their race (somewhat), Obama felt they should do as he said. ''You're coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses,'' he told them to their faces with his arms crossed and brow furrowed. ''I've got a problem with that because part of it makes me think — and I'm speaking to men directly now — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren't feeling the idea of having a woman as president.'' Obama literally wagged his finger to tell these grown men, ''That's not acceptable. This shouldn't even be a question.''
If that weren't crazed enough, he then trotted out wife Michelle to further nag male voters. ''So fellas,'' she said at a rally in Michigan, ''before you cast your votes ask yourselves what side of history do you want to be on.'' She said male ''rage'' is what could cost Democrats the election. ''If we don't get this election right,'' she nagged, ''your wife, your daughter, your mother — we as women will become collateral damage to your rage. So are you men prepared to look into the eyes of the women and kiddies you love and tell them that you supported this assault on our safety?'' (Can we get one of those overpaid consultants to advise women in politics that there's nothing frank or authentic about referring to men as ''fellas?'')
Generally speaking, Democrat men have never been accused of being too manly, but it remains a mystery as to who came up with the idea to browbeat them into voting for Kamala. If it was Obama's idea, man has he lost his magic. And if it wasn't his idea, man has he lost his magic.
''Hope and change'' became, ''Do what mommy and daddy said.''
Then Trump won decisively, the first Republican in 20 years to win the popular vote. It's the second time Trump defeated the Obama-backed candidate and the second chance Trump has to reverse the havoc Obama and his legacy have wrought.
Consider that Obama's supreme legislative achievement was a health insurance industry overhaul. The ultimate result has been higher prices and fewer insurance options. Obama supported Crooked Hillary Clinton ...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do... as his successor, discouraging Biden. She was ended by Trump. In 2020, Biden became the Democrat nominee with the eventual support of Obama, only to preside over breakouts of foreign conflict, hyperinflation, rampant crime, and unmitigated chaos at the southern border, none of which was inevitable but in fact instigated by Biden's agenda. Now voters are once again turning to Trump, the man who made his entry into the Obama-era of politics by demanding proof of Obama's birth certificate, which Obama, the sitting president of the United States, responded to by publishing it. Sad!
America is done with him. Obama was 2024's biggest loser.

[Breitbart] A driver ran down two New Zealand police officers down as they patrolled on foot in the early hours of New Year’s Day, killing one and seriously injuring the other, the country’s police chief said.
The attack jolted a country where the killing of police officers on duty is rare.
The vehicle drove into the officers “at speed” as they performed a routine patrol of a parking lot, before the driver turned and rammed a police car, Police Commissioner Richard Chambers told reporters in the South Island city of Nelson. A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged over the incident shortly after it happened at about 2 a.m. local time.
One of the officers, a woman, died in a local hospital hours later.
The other was in serious condition but was expected to make a full recovery, Chambers said. A third officer who was in the rammed police car received a concussion and two members of the public were hurt, one of them after coming to help the injured officers.
Chambers condemned the “senseless act of an individual who appears to have been determined to cause harm,” although he did not suggest a motive.
“There was, at this stage, no indication that was what about to occur, occurred,” Chambers said.
New Zealand’s Police Minister Mark Mitchell said the officers were “targeted in what I consider a very cowardly attack.”
The attack happened in a downtown area of Nelson – population 55,000 – close to the street where the city’s New Year’s Eve celebrations had concluded two hours before.
Before Wednesday, the last killing of a police officer on duty in New Zealand was in 2020, when an officer was shot by a fleeing driver. 33 other officers have died through criminal acts while on duty since 1890, according to police records.
The woman killed, Senior Sergeant Lyn Fleming, had been an officer for 38 years and was “well-known and hugely respected member of the Nelson community”, Chambers said. She is survived by a spouse and children.
The man charged is due to appear in court on Friday.

[DAILYMAIL.CO.UK] A Georgia state judge has taken his own life inside his courtroom.
The body of Judge Stephen Yekel was discovered inside Effingham County State Court on Tuesday morning. He is believed to have shot himself dead.
Yekel, 74, had recently lost a bid for re-election and was found by a deputy on what would have been his last day on the bench, WSAV reports.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is now probing the horrific incident.
Effingham County Sheriff Jimmy McDuffie said Yekel was discovered around 10am, but it appeared he had shot himself late Monday night or early Tuesday.
Yekel was appointed to the state court in 2022. He had tried to resign from his position, but was prevented from doing so by Governor Brian Kemp.
McDuffie said he understood Yekel had sent a note to the Governor's office regarding the resignation, but did not disclose its contents.
'The Effingham County Board of Commissioners and staff are deeply saddened by the tragic death of Judge Steve Yekel at the Effingham County Courthouse today and we offer our condolences to his family and loved ones,' a statement from the county read.
Father-of-four Yekel was a former assistant district attorney in Chatham County and practicing lawyer with more than 45 years of experience.
He previously held roles as a special agent with the state's Alcohol & Tobacco Tax Unit and was an investigator at the Cobb County District Attorney's Office.
Yekel's resignation letter to Governor Kemp cites his disappointment with low turnout for the election he lost. In the event a judge resigns, a new one would be appointed by the Governor rather than voted in.
Yekel wrote the position is, 'too important to be decided by only 6% of eligible voters'.
But Kemp rejected the resignation request, stating he wishes to maintain, 'respect for the will of the people of Effingham County.'
In May, Yekel's ex-wife Lisa Yekel shared a post on Facebook which outlined several issues reportedly plaguing his re-election campaign.
She dismissed rumors their divorce the year before was due to infidelity and denied that he had asked a police officer not to give him a citation following a car accident.
