Shi* load of expensive automobiles burning in the Atlantic
[NYP] That’s a lot of burning rubber.

Thousands of Porsches, Audis, and Lamborghinis were marooned on an unmanned burning cargo ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean Thursday.

Crew members of the 650-feet-long Felicity Ace were evacuated from the transport ship to a hotel in the Azores Islands, as the ship was adrift 100 miles away from the Portuguese archipelago, according to the country’s military. None of the 22 sailors were harmed.

The ship was still burning and billowing out clouds of white smoke as a Portugal navy ship inspected whether it was in danger of sinking, officials said.

Felicity Ace was likely too large to be towed to a port in the archipelago, which is more than 900 miles from the European mainland. The ship had been en route to Rhode Island from Germany.

Four Senate Republicans Fail to Show Up for Vote on Amendment Defunding Vaccine Mandates, Ensuring Failure
The Senate voted on Sen. Mike Lee’s (R-UT) amendment to the continuing resolution (CR), which would defund Biden’s remaining vaccine mandates. The measure failed 46-47, with Sens. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Jim Inhofe (R-OK), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Richard Burr (R-NC) failing to show up, depriving Senate Republicans a potential majority to pass the amendment to the CR.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) set the vote threshold to a majority, and it remains possible that he could have set the threshold to 60 if Republicans had enough votes to pass with a majority; however, Democrats broke and voted to defund Biden’s private employer mandate the last time they voted on vaccine mandates. This could have put more pressure on Democrats to support the defunding of Biden’s vaccine mandates.

[ConservativeTreehouse] Trudeau Government Officials Confirm Donors to Crowdfunding Platforms Are Specifically “Designated Targets” for DeBanking, Social Media Posts To Be Used as Evidence

NOTE: before getting to the heart of the biggest headline, I just want to note that when Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland speaks in French, she says things she never repeats in English. The French language Canadian audience hear a much stronger declaration in the framework of government action, including language that says, "The Canadian government, and the heart of Canadian democracy is directly being attacked by foreign groups." Freeland does not say this in English, only in her French delivery.
And I thought our pols were scum.
During her prepared remarks today, a very happy Canadian Finance Minister declared that federal law enforcement (RCMP) has begun working with financial institutions to de-bank Canadian citizens, cancel insurance policies, remove access to credit cards, cancel mortgages and freeze the assets of Canadian citizens. When you watch the segment highlighted below, keep in mind the RCMP is the Canadian equivalent of the FBI.

When asked specifically about Canadian citizens who donated to crowdfunding platforms GiveSendGo and GoFundMe, and whether those people will be targeted under the Emergency Act, Minister Freeland giddily affirmed those people are the actual targets, and the de-banking of those individuals is underway. This includes the seizure of digital currency and crypto-wallets.

In the earlier part of her remarks, Freeland noted that social media posts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) are being used as evidence against the targeted names identified within the donor lists. Tech platforms have provided people to work with Canadian federal officials, as they identify and cross-reference the donor files to their social media identities. WATCH:

Raccoon falls through ceiling into packed LSU dining hall
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A raccoon fell through the ceiling into a packed dining hall at Louisiana State University as students screamed and a cook tried to catch it in a basket.

Freshman Danielle Gipson told The Reveille student newspaper that everyone was standing up and looking around for a raccoon when she went into the 459 Dining Hall for dinner Wednesday.

"I went and still got my food because I thought that it was fake," she said. "The raccoon then ran underneath my table and I immediately got on top of the chair."

One video posted with the article showed the raccoon running between tables, then climbing onto a chair and looking around. Another shows people chasing it with a broom and a stick or perhaps two brooms. Screams are all that can be heard on either.

Gipson says she lost her appetite when friends told her the raccoon had been on top of her bag while she was gone.

"I am just scared that my bag has a disease," she said. "Right now it’s funny to look back at, but at the moment, I was traumatized. My appetite is definitely gone."

Italian shepards of the Dolomites
[Guardian] Alice and Fabio have been nomadic shepherds for almost 10 years, taking their sheep every year from pastures high in the Dolomites to and from the Po valley, a large expanse of agricultural landscape in northern Italy.

Between June and September, they move around various pastures in the Dolomites, but when the weather starts to get cold, they take their flock of about 1,000 to the lowlands.

From the winter months until May they live in a caravan, travelling around the countryside in the provinces of Venezia, Padova and Treviso, looking for harvest leftovers in unused fields.

US stocks take a hit as Ukraine crisis stokes fear
[Aljazeera] United States stocks slid on Thursday, with the S&P 500 marking its biggest daily percentage drop in two weeks, as investors shifted to defensive sectors and safe havens such as bonds and gold while geopolitical tensions between Washington and Russia over Ukraine flared.

After Ukrainian forces and pro-Moscow rebels traded fire in eastern Ukraine, US President Joe Biden said there was every indication Russia was planning to invade in the next few days and was preparing a pretext to justify it.

Canada protests: Police arrest leaders of trucker convoy
[BBC] Police in Ottawa have detained two leaders of the trucker convoy in the Canadian capital as they move to break up the last stronghold of the protests against the nation's Covid rules.

Tamara Lich was arrested on Thursday evening after Chris Barber was held, with both expected to be charged criminally, according to CBC News.

Authorities have already cleared other protests located at border crossings.

It comes days after Canada invoked an emergency law for the first time.

However, officers were not yet moving in force on the remaining demonstrators on Thursday night - although interim Ottawa Police Chief Steve Bell warned earlier that if "they do not peacefully leave, we have plans".

The Emergencies Act invoked by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday imposes bans on public assembly in some areas, among other measures.

If someone can help clarify if wrong, but it was my understanding ratification of emergency measures must be submitted to Parliament.

If so, and they are not, that would make the whole exercise illegal, right? The CBC should be boned for knowingly accepting stolen property. The RCMP - not Mounties, that is reserved for the awe inspiring legends, not gasoline thieves - are kind of following orders currently legal, those two orgs and all else involved could draw a broadside.

The idea of The Trudeau Administration, advisors, and those who went along knowing that there was no intention to ever file for ratification should be on the hook financially, and criminally, sounds right.

Why are French troops leaving Mali, and what will it mean for the region?
[BBC] President Emmanuel Macron has announced he will be pulling French forces out of the West African nation of Mali, where they have been fighting Islamist militants since 2013.

There are 5,000 French troops in Mali and surrounding countries, fighting groups such as al-Qaeda and Islamic State.

But over the past eight years, the French presence has become increasingly unpopular with Mali's government and its public.

What is the terrorist threat in Mali and the Sahel region?
Both the Islamic State group and al-Qaeda have decided to focus on the Sahel region of Africa, after suffering setbacks in the Middle East.

The Sahel is a strip of semi-arid land beneath the Sahara Desert that stretches across the continent from east to west. It includes parts of Chad, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso and Mauritania.

They've done all they can to provide some sort of civil order. Unfortunately, teaching goats to play the saxophone is very difficult. Time to leave the bastids to their inherent tribal misery.

If numerous other examples have somehow been overlooked, there remains a valuable teaching point to be found in the French action. That is of course, should anyone in our political establishment care to take note.

#9  Yes, in fact France does loot its former colonies. Why's that a surprise? Are educated people really unaware of this? The French franc still exists. Yes it does. But only in Africa. France takes its colonies' money and sells it back to them. It's a very important part of the French budget and without it France would have a very hard time making ends meet.

Why's it a surprise that the wealthy rip off the helpless and defenseless? After all, they can't help or defend themselves. You think these sharks have an ounce of human kindness in them? No, no they do not. The only possible policy is to treat them like the dirt they are.

Report: Under draft nuke deal, Iran to first cut enrichment to 5%; get $7b in assets
A pointless exercise, but the proposed disposition is revealing.
[IsraelTimes] Outline detailed by Rooters provides for Iran’s release of Western prisoners, subsequent gradual waiving of sanctions.

A draft agreement between Iran
...The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both...
and world powers would involve a phased return to the 2015 nuclear deal, with both sides initially taking interim steps to curb enrichment and lift some sanctions, according to a report Thursday.

The 20-page draft deal would also include the release of Westerners held by Iran, a key US demand, according to Rooters. Former US president Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
abandoned the deal and reimposed sanctions in 2018, leading Iran to resume open enrichment of nuclear material to levels just below weapons-grade.

Officials involved in talks over the last seven months to reinstate the deal say time is running low, though some have indicated optimism that the sides could reach an agreement soon.

Police arrest two more suspects over firebombing of Jewish home in Sheikh Jarrah
[IsraelTimes] Two being questioned by Shin Bet, joining two others arrested earlier in connection with alleged attack in East Jerusalem neighborhood that sparked days of festivities

Two suspects were arrested in connection with the alleged Molotov cocktailing of a Jewish home in the contested East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah last week, police said Thursday.

The suspects join two others arrested earlier this week over the alleged arson attack, which touched off a fresh round of violence in the neighborhood that Israeli leaders have warned could snowball into a larger regional conflagration.

"Following a covert operation, two additional suspects believed to be involved in the serious incident were arrested last night in East Jerusalem," police said in a statement.

The suspects, both in their 20s, were being questioned by the Shin Bet following their arrest. Authorities did not say where they were from.

Police are expected to ask the court to deny bail until the investigation is complete.

Two other suspects were arrested earlier this week, with officers finding eight Molotov cocktails, gloves and a knit cap while searching the home of one of the suspects.

During festivities between Arab and Jewish residents last Friday, a Molotov cocktail was allegedly thrown at a Jewish family home in Sheikh Jarrah, which has been a locus of tensions due to a push by right-wing Israelis to evict Paleostinians from homes they claim belonged to Jewish families before 1948.

No injuries were reported in the fire. However,
a woman is only as old as she admits...
the house was badly damaged and police said an officer was lightly hurt from smoke inhalation after entering the home.

Citing initial findings from the scene that raised suspicion of arson, police said the Jerusalem district commander had ordered a "substantial" increase in police presence in Sheikh Jarrah, also known as the Shimon Hatzaddik neighborhood, including of undercover officers and special forces.

An Arab resident of Sheikh Jarrah and a neighbor of the Jewish family told Hebrew-language news site Ynet that "it didn’t seem like [the suspects] wanted to scare" the Jewish family," but "to actually burn them alive."

In May, the pending evictions of several Paleostinian families from the neighborhood helped fuel festivities in Jerusalem that kicked off an 11-day conflict between Israel and the Gazoo

Hezbollah drone shot down after crossing over northern border — IDF
[IsraelTimes] Israeli forces on Thursday downed a drone that Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...a formerly French, now an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. ...
’s Hezbollah terror group flew over the border, the military said.

The incident occurred a day after Hezbollah chief His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
...The satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...
said his group has been manufacturing military drones in Lebanon and has the technology to turn thousands of missiles in its possession into precision-guided munitions.

A statement from the Israel Defense Forces said air control units tracked the unmanned aircraft "throughout the incident" before shooting it down.

It did not specify how the drone was brought down as it entered Israeli airspace.

"The IDF will continue to operate in order to prevent any attempt to violate Israeli illusory sovereignty," the statement said.

In an image posted on Twitter by Avichay Adraee, the military’s Arabic-language spokesperson, the drone appeared to be a commercially available quadcopter manufactured by Chinese company DJI.

Without citing a source, Army Radio claimed the drone likely belonged to the terror group’s elite Radwan Unit.

A security source said last month that at least some of the drones Hezbollah apparently uses for surveillance purposes were commercially available devices.

There was no immediate statement from Hezbollah nor affiliated media outlets on the drone downing.

Separately, the IDF said Thursday evening that a drone that flew over the border with the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. Strip earlier that day, was downed by troops.

It was not immediately clear what type of drone it was, or how it was brought down in the second incident. The army said the aircraft fell on the Paleostinian side of the fence, in the southern part of the coastal enclave.

At least 74 drones flown by Hezbollah crossed into Israeli territory last year, compared to 94 in 2020 and 54 the year before that, according to the Walla news site. Most of the drones were downed.

Lebanon regularly complains about Israeli surveillance drones invading its airspace, but the IDF maintains that such incursions are necessary to track the activities of the Hezbollah terror group, which the Lebanese government is meant to keep in check.

IDF program to integrate women into cyber units raises $1 million
[Jpost] The IDF 'Mamriot' program, supported by the Zalik Foundation and FIDF, aims to close the gender gap in the Israeli military's cyber units.

A new IDF program providing technological education for teenage girls across Israel has been granted $1 million by Friends of the IDF (FIDF) and the Zalik Foundation.

The IDF program, named 'Mamriot' (taking off), aims to close the gender gap in the Israeli military's cyber units by increasing the talent pool of soldiers and Israeli citizens with scientific and tech-based education.

FIDF, an NGO offering social, educational and cultural programs designed to celebrate and honor Israeli soldiers, and the Zalik Foundation, founded in 2018, have raised the sum to support the integration of young women into IDF cyber units.

FAA administrator Steve Dickson will step down midway through his term
Hattip 3dc. NPR’s original headline was Steve Dickson, Trump-appointed FAA head, to resign ..., referring his nomination in 2019. One wonders how much mutual annoyance he and his boss, the famous Buttigieg (or however it’s spelt) experienced from one another before he decided to walk away.
I doubt BootyGig is the problem. He rarely shows up for work
[NPR] The head of the Federal Aviation Administration, who took over the agency as it was reeling from allegations of lax oversight in the aftermath of two Boeing 737 MAX airplane crashes, is stepping down.

FAA Administrator Steve Dickson is a former Air Force and Delta Air Lines pilot who worked his way up to be Delta's senior vice president of flight operations.

He came out of retirement from Delta to head up the FAA, which at the time was under intense scrutiny for certifying Boeing's 737 MAX jetliner, when two of the planes crashed and killed a total of 346 people.

The FAA had approved the new jetliner while knowing little about an automated flight control system that crash Sherlocks blame for playing a significant role in the crashes.

Dickson refused to approve the 737 MAX to fly passengers again until he flew the plane himself, which he did in September of 2020.

Dickson told FAA employees in a letter that he was proud of his tenure, saying, "The agency is in a better place than it was two years ago, and we are positioned for great success."

He said his decision comes with "mixed emotions and a heavy heart."

"Nevertheless, after sometimes long and unavoidable periods of separation from my loved ones during the pandemic, it is time to devote my full time and attention to them. As I wrote in my letter to President Joe Biden
...... 46th president of the U.S., who gives the term geriatric a bad name. He blames Afghans for losing Afghanistan.......

#8  Re: #6

Watch the interview with Hannity. Pompeo said nothing of troops or military action. He talked a lot about weakness. Weakness is an interesting topic. Most people are either weak or strong inherently. Some can learn but usually it is baked in from an early age. Weakness often reveals itself with inappropriate individual acts of strength (overreactions) in an attempt to change the perception about that person.

You can even see it on dogs. We have quite a few at home. Always have for the last 30 years or so. The pack leader is the most calm and sits virtually still while the others tip toe around her. How did that occur? The dogs can sense the vibe with very little action needed by the leader. The lowest on the totem pole will occasionally get into dog fights because his insecurity is so bad.

Joe Biden, Blinken and crew are hopelessly weak. That’s why it is always so dangerous to have a weak person in charge of the military. They are prone to mostly weak actions that lead up to a poorly timed attempt to correct that narrative.

Even this article quote’s the “tough guy” Biden looking Putin in the eyes and saying you have no soul. Putin must be laughing because he know’s it’s fake and just one of many corn pop style stories.

Specifically, Pompeo detailed weakness in the following ways;
1. Pathetic Iranian nuke deal
2. No response to Russia’s shutdown of gas lines in SE US.
3. Approving Nordstrom 2 (which Trump vetoed)
4. Not allowing shipment of US energy to Europe
(By the way all the energy items are huge. As Pompeo put it, we are putting Russian economy on warp speed.)
5. Allowing Iran to ship energy around the world
6. Allowing (under Obama regime) to take Crimea without consequence
7. Showing the whole world what a disastrous retreat and defeat looks like in Afghanistan.
8. Sending in the absolute fool, climate czar Kerry, to be the first to meet with Putin.

None of these items involved Raytheon or military action. You see, when Trump and Pompeo were sitting in the room their counterparts just know they weren’t f*cking around. Like the “pack leader”, they are able to avert most confrontation through strength. Reagan understood this inherently. Almost all leftists can’t even grasp this concept.

#9  BTW, those are the point Pompeo made Hannity’s show. There are obviously tons of other examples. If I do fault Pompeo (and many other republicans, etc.) it’s going overboard to highlight the weakness. It further pushes this weak, incompetent crew to make some major mistakes to correct the narrative. I’m sure they are perplexed why all this is happening in Ukraine. They probably thought they made up for their Afghanistan debacle when they appointed the first transgender admiral 6 weeks later.

Britain
British Conservative Calls for US Collaboration To Stomp Out China Threat
[Free Beacon] Invoking a speech former prime minister Margaret Thatcher gave at the Heritage Foundation 25 years ago, the chairman of the United Kingdom's Conservative Party warned that a united Western alliance will be necessary to confront the Chinese Communist Party.

Oliver Dowden, who assumed the party leadership role last year, said at a speech for the Heritage Foundation on Monday that conservatives across the globe "must find the confidence to mount a vigorous defense of the values of a free society" in the face of growing threats from China. He rooted his argument in the success found by former president Ronald Reagan when he collaborated with Thatcher in the 1980s, helping bring about the end of the Cold War.

"The enemies of the West are finding fresh confidence in their eternal battle against liberty," Dowden said. "So conservatives themselves must find the confidence to mount a vigorous defense of the values of a free society."

Dowden warned of a "tendency of democracies to relax when the worst appears to be over" and said this appears to be happening with the rise of China.

"The idea that Beijing's partial embrace of free markets would automatically lead to greater social and personal political freedoms has proved to be breathtakingly naïve," Dowden said.

To solve the threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party, Dowden pointed to battles his colleagues have already won. Under Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s leadership, the United Kingdom has "taken a tough stance on China’s assault on democracy in Hong Kong and its outrageous abuses in Xinjiang province." Dowden touted his work as digital secretary to ban Huawei—a Chinese telecommunications giant sanctioned by the United States—from Britain’s 5G networks.

Government Corruption
Donald Trump, two of his children, ordered to testify in NY business fraud case
[IsraelTimes] Former US president is alleged to have made fraudulent or misleading valuations of golf courses, skyscrapers and other properties in order to get loans and tax benefits.

Trump’s lawyers told Engoron during the hearing that having him sit for a civil deposition now, while his company is also the subject of a parallel criminal investigation, is an improper attempt to get around a state law barring prosecutors from calling someone to testify before a criminal grand jury without giving them immunity.
Former US president Donald Trump

Here is how I see what will happen.

NOTHING,
until after the Statues of Of Limitations, runs out.
Note: Murder has no limitation.

WHY NOTHING?
My own personal example...Just 2 weeks ago I was hammered hard and accused of infecting and killing others by not being a VAX'er. All by 2, now UBER Pro-VAX'ers, that I have known for over 20+ years and had called friends.

Despite the fact, they knew I was just out of the hospital from C-19/22 and I now had acquired Natural SURVIVOR Immunity meant nothing to them. Getting VAX'd and boosters was all they had in their heads.

BUT!
How the rest of the group reacted mimicked how most of America also handles the facts. They went quiet, despite the official data and numbers staring them in the face.

WHY? As we have read, again and again. Likely because of the fear that the social media blow torches would be aimed at them if the engaged in the discussion. Like how REAL Experts opposing the mRNA VAX were portrayed as genocidal villains by MSM, DC, and others with far far less knowledge of the virus.

#7  "others with far far less knowledge of the virus", I have seen this replayed many times. Family children now adults browbeat mothers or fathers, one a well established endocrinologist and a just retired Virologist. Then just retired FP doctor retired after 45 years who believed in natural immunity. All but the last got vaxed to shut up non medical family brow beaters. One called her mother several tines a day from LA to Maryland. Now boosters demanded. Then another doctor who has successfully treated all who came to her with covid (100%) had to close her practice and go Web MD to continue but they still are trying to have her medical license revoked. It is like talking to a Democrat, Biden is the best president we have ever had. Best economy. Seriously this is my real world contacts to many every day.

Bangladesh
Bangladesh Court Grants Teen Bail After 16 Months for Allegedly Insulting Quran
[BenarNews] Bangladesh’s High Court on Thursday ordered the release on bail of a teenager who was in jug for nearly 16 months for allegedly desecrating the Koran via a Facebook post.

Dipti Rani Das, who is from the minority Hindu community, was incarcerated
Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un!
on charges of violating the country’s draconian online security act by allegedly hurting religious sentiment in Moslem-majority Bangladesh.

"She will be released after the order reaches the women and kiddies corrections center in northern Rajshahi district with due process. It may take another week," lawyer Nina Guswami, a director at Ain-O-Salish Kendra (ASK), a human rights
...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you...
organization helping Dipti with legal support, told BenarNews

Dipti, who is now 18, is incarcerated at a women’s correctional center in Rajshahi, which is 247 km (153 miles) from Dhaka, where the High Court is located.

Dipti’s father, Dilip Kumar Das, was overjoyed.

"We could smile today after 16 months; the whole family is awaiting her hug on her release," he told BenarNews.

Police arrested Dipti in October 2020 in northern Dinajpur after a Digital Security Act case was filed over a photo she allegedly posted showing a woman with a Koran placed between her thighs.

Dilip Kumar denied that his daughter had posted anything about Islam’s holy book and said her Facebook account had been hacked.

The teenager was granted bail on Thursday on her sixth attempt. She was denied bail four times by a lower court. On her fifth attempt, the High Court granted her bail but a police officer appealed against her release before the Supreme Court
...the political football known as The Highest Court in the Land, home of penumbrae and emanations...
, which then halted the bail order.

On Thursday, she was granted bail on a fresh petition before the High Court.

Passed in 2018, the Digital Security Act punishes those who produce or distribute content that "hurts religious sentiments or religious values" or "destroys communal harmony, or creates unrest or disorder" with up to 10 years in prison.

It empowers police to make arrests on suspicion and without a warrant. Fourteen of its 20 provisions do not allow for bail, so when those accused are brought before a magistrate, they almost automatically are sent to jail.

In November, human rights watchdog Amnesia Amnesty International urged the Bangladeshi government to release Dipti "and all those detained solely for exercising their right to freedom of expression."

POLICE CLAIM TEEN IS GUILTY
Meanwhile,
...back at the Senate, Odius Sepulcher called for war against the Visigoths...
police said in their chargesheet submitted to the court that their investigation found that Dipti had offended under the Digital Security Act.

"Three allegations brought against her under the Digital Security Act are primarily proved," the police investigation report said.

"She posted a caricature of the Koran .... She intentionally instigated devout Moslems with a view to damaging religious harmony in the country," the police report added.

The case against Dipti has now been transferred to the cyber tribunal in Rangpur for trial.

"A hearing on the chargesheet will be held on March 13," Ruhul Amin Talukder, acting public prosecutor at the Rangpur court, told BenarNews.

Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST), a human rights organization, will provide Dipti legal assistance in the case.

"The case was supposed to be forwarded to a juvenile court. Instead, it has been forwarded to the cyber tribunal," Dilruba Rahman Ankhi, a lawyer at BLAST in Rangpur, told BenarNews.

"The investigation report of police had described Dipti as a ’child involved in the conflict.’ Now the judge of the tribunal will decide in which court the case will be tried."

Crisis looms in Syria camps, jails holding foreign nationals
[Rudaw] It was night when Zakia Kachar heard the sounds of footsteps approach her tent in a detention camp for foreigners affiliated with Islamic State group extremists. With rocks in their hands, the wives of IS fighters had come for her.

She fled with her children to another area of the Roj Camp in northeast Syria. “They wanted to kill me,” she said.

Earlier that day, the dual Serbian-German national had fought back in an altercation with a camp resident disapproving of her wearing makeup. The woman had bitten her, and Kachar slapped her in defense.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Moscow's response on security guarantees
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Mikhail Voskresensky

[RIA Novosti] Moscow conveyed to US Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan the reaction to the US response on security guarantees, the Foreign Ministry said.

"We state that the American side did not give a constructive response to the basic elements of the draft treaty with the United States prepared by the Russian side on security guarantees," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

It is clarified that we are talking about the rejection of further NATO expansion, the withdrawal of the "Bucharest formula" that "Ukraine and Georgia will become members of NATO", and the rejection of the creation of military bases on the territory of states that were previously part of the USSR and are not members alliance, including the use of their infrastructure for conducting any military activity, as well as the return of military capabilities, including strike, and NATO infrastructure to the state of 1997, when the Russia-NATO Founding Act was signed.

"In the absence of the readiness of the American side to agree on firm, legally binding guarantees to ensure our security from the United States and its allies, Russia will be forced to respond, including through the implementation of measures of a military-technical nature," the text follows.

The document emphasizes that there is no "invasion of Ukraine" and is not planned.

"Allegations of 'Russia's responsibility for the escalation' cannot be regarded otherwise than as an attempt to put pressure on and devalue Russia's proposals for security guarantees," the ministry said.

The Foreign Ministry noted that Russian obligations under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum had nothing to do with the intra-Ukrainian conflict, and also recalled that the loss of territorial integrity by the state occurred as a result of internal processes. The text of the document notes that in order to resolve the situation, it is necessary that Kiev comply with the Minsk agreements, and the West should stop pumping weapons into the country and withdraw all its instructors from there.

"The growing military activity of the United States and NATO directly at Russian borders is alarming, while our" red lines "and core security interests, as well as Russia's sovereign right to protect them, are still being ignored," the ministry said.

The document emphasizes that demands to withdraw troops from certain regions on Russian territory are unacceptable and undermine the prospects for reaching real agreements.

Later, the US State Department confirmed to RIA Novosti that they had received a letter from Russia as part of a bilateral security dialogue.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Florida's Brightline high-speed passenger trains - with the worst fatality rate in nation - kill one person and seriously injure another in separate accidents less than 12 hours apart
  • Tuesday night's death was the ninth involving Florida's privately owned passenger railroad since it resumed operations in November

  • It's the 57th since Brightline began test runs in 2017, giving it the worst per-mile fatality rate in the nation

  • Investigators found none of the deaths were the railroad's fault, determining that many were suicides or drivers or pedestrians trying to beat the trains

  • The trains travel up to 79mph through densely populated urban and suburban areas along about 70 miles of track between Miami and West Palm Beach

Fifth Column
FBI Chief on China's USA Espionage: It ‘Blew Me Away'… A New Case Every 12 Hours.
[National Pulse] Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Christopher Wray has admitted that the scale of Chinese espionage in the United States "blew [him] away," citing the communist regime as the largest "threat to our ideas, innovation, and economic security."

The news will serve to vindicate "China hawks" who have been warning about Beijing’s malign influence in the West for years, all the while pilloried as "conspiracy theorists" by the corporate media.

Wray — who has served as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director since 2017 — revealed the agency opens a new China-related counter-intelligence case every 12 hours, with over 2,000 such investigations underway.

"This one blew me away. And I’m not the kind of guy that uses words like ’blown away’ easily," he remarked.

"There is no country that presents a broader, more severe threat to our innovation, our ideas, and our economic security than China does," Wray added during the NBC interview. "The scale of their hacking program, and the amount of personal and corporate data that their hackers have stolen, is greater than every other country combined."

The interview follows high-profile cases of Chinese Communist Party spies targeting American politicians and the Department of Justice under the Trump administration launching the "China Initiative," which sought to combat this infiltration. The Biden White House has signaled it may terminate the program, dropping one of its most infamous indictments against Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professor Gang Chen.

"China may be the first country to combine that kind of authoritarian ambition with cutting-edge technical capability. It’s like the surveillance nightmare of East Germany combined with the tech of Silicon Valley," Wray said. Many American social media companies — including Twitter and Facebook — have cozied up to the Chinese Communist Party in recent years, sending executives to conferences in China hosted by foreign influence groups and placing party-linked individuals into advisory roles.

"Fact-checkers" hired by these platforms also received funding from Chinese Communist Party-linked companies.

"There’s just no other country that presents a broader threat to our ideas, innovation, and economic security than China," he reiterated.

Africa Subsaharan
COVID Lockdowns Helped Fulani Murder Law-Abiding Citizens.
[PJMedia] One of the main problems with overly stringent laws is that only some people will follow them, while others will ignore or even exploit them. The result, all too often, is that law-abiding citizens will be put at a disadvantage vis-à-vis law-breakers.

Overly restrictive gun laws offer a prime example: only those who already "play by the rules" will obey such restrictions, whereas criminal elements will naturally ignore them. The result is that those who merely seek to defend themselves may end up being disarmed, whereas those targeting them will be armed.

Unsurprisingly, this topsy-turvy phenomenon is also evident in the "brave new world" ushered in by COVID-19. Not only, as a John Hopkins study recently revealed, have "ill-founded" and draconian lockdowns had "devastating effects" on economies and societies; but in some cases, they have even empowered murderers and disempowered their victims.

This comes out clearly in a recent report titled, "Militia Failed to Obey Covid-19 Lockdown, Killed 24 Christians Observing Government Orders." According to it, a group of Islamic forces of Evil "wielding AK-47s and machetes ... killed twenty-four people, who were observing COVID-19 lockdown orders"—and, as such, were sitting ducks.

The [lockdown] order was issued by the state government. However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them...
this group of Fulani
... a peculiarly brutal tribe of Moslem herdsmen infesting Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and probably other places that are light on law and order and heavy on tribal identity...
gunnies failed to abide by the order and managed to pass through military stations on their way to the Kaura village. The attack, which took place in a Christian village, lasted about thirty minutes.

Such stories can be heard repeatedly in the surrounding villages ... and hundreds of others across Nigeria’s fertile Middle Belt.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a community leader explained how, along with lockdown rules, gun bans are also leading to the exposure and subsequent massacre of Christians:

The government and security agencies have failed us. We don’t know where to go, we don’t know who to believe in. It is the constitutional responsibility of government to protect lives and property, but this government has failed us woefully. People are asking why the government allows herdsmen to move about freely with guns to kill people? Since the government has failed in tackling these killers, we should be allowed to also carry arms like them.

Finally, and perhaps unsurprisingly, "The community leader said the gunnies claimed more lives than the pandemic in his village. ’We can’t farm or go to school. The Fulani gunnies will attack you. We are suffering.’"

To be sure, this is just one of many examples of how COVID measures have been used to discriminate against or persecute Christians throughout the Moslem world.

Iraq
Iraqi forces kill ISIS members in Saladin

Shafaq News/ On Thursday, the Iraqi security forces killed ISIS members east of Saladin Governorate.

A source told Shafaq News Agency that forces from Saladin command raided ISIS hideouts in Wadi Diaba, east of al-Dur district within the Metebije sector.

The Iraqi air forces also struck the hideouts intensively, which killed several SIS members.

In 2017, Iraq declared final victory over ISIS after Iraqi forces drove its last remnants from the country, the militant group captured about a third of Iraq's territory.

The war has had a devastating impact on the areas previously controlled by the militants. About 3.2 million people remain displaced.

Yet, ISIS still has sleeper cells in several Iraqi Governorates.

Recently, the terrorist organization has become more active, as sleeper cells target civilians and security forces, especially in the governorates of Kirkuk, Saladin, and Diyala, known as "the Triangle of Death."

A simple request from Russian government officials
Who knew the Russians had an official sense of humour?

[TASS] Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has jokingly asked American and British media outlets to release a schedule of Russia’s "upcoming invasions" of Ukraine for the current year.

"I’d like to request US and British disinformation: Bloomberg, The New York Times and The Sun media outlets to publish the schedule for our upcoming invasions for the year. I’d like to plan my vacation," the Russian diplomat said on her Telegram channel Wednesday.

The West and Kiev have recently been echoing allegations about Russia’s potential invasion of Ukraine recently. Western media outlets keep enthusiastically announcing "the date of invasion," which has been repeatedly postponed. In particular, according to the Politico newspaper, US President Joe Biden claimed that Russia could allegedly attack Ukraine on February 16. This steady disinformation blitz by the Western media has already resulted in a sharp deterioration of Kiev’s economic situation, with investments and businesses fleeing Ukraine, while the energy prices in Europe are growing. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov castigated these statements as an "empty and groundless" escalation of tensions, emphasizing that Russia posed no threat to anyone.

He and his administration have lied so brazenly, so preposterously, about so many things, that literally nothing this sick muppet blathers has any credibility now.

They lied about Trump being a Russian agent when in fact Trump was ten times harder on Russia -- and got far better results re restraining Russia -- than any president before or since.
They lied about the Blessed Martyr St George Fentanyl.
They lied about "peaceful protests."
They lied about Afghanistan.
They lied about their spectacular, surreal abandonment of our southern border.
They lied about "temporary" inflation.
They lied about their failed 'vaccine' "stopping the spread by Fall" 2021.
They lied about our history.
They lied about parents as "domestic terrorists," "insurrection," "white s'premacy" in the military, and on and on.
They lied about his worthless, shit bird, doper son Hunter.

This decrepit, corrupt, dessicated old pervert and his freakshow cabinet do nothing but lie, fabricate, sneer, slander, and silence their opposition.

They're lying now.

They neither deserve nor can expect anyone's deference or obedience.

#1  The area around the 'LPR' was also the scene of some various activities during the first half of the 1940's.

'Mass Graves' could be from that time period, also. Perhaps peasants, partisans or collaborators.

Ukraine, Poland and UK agree on accord to combat Russian aggression
That’s nice. Who, exactly, is going to bell the cat, and is it really necessary?
[The Hill] British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss and her counterparts in Poland and Ukraine issued a joint statement on Thursday saying that the three nations would be developing a "trilateral memorandum of co-operation" to support Ukraine and combat Russian aggression amid rising tensions between the two eastern European nations.

"This will demonstrate our commitment to further strengthening the strategic cooperation and engagement between our 3 nations on the highest priority issues in support of Ukraine," the three said.

"We will work together to advance our cooperation, which includes but not limited to co-ordinating support to the International Crimea Platform, increasing our collaboration on cyber security, energy security, and boosting strategic communications to counter disinformation," they added.

The three said that the United Kingdom and Poland stood in solidarity with Ukraine in helping the former Soviet Union defend its independence and sovereignty and would provide Ukraine with support.

The joint statement also offered a thinly veiled rebuke at Russia, without naming the country specifically, for its efforts at trying to dictate whether Ukraine should be a part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

"We reiterate that each European State is free to choose or change its security arrangements, including treaties of alliance, and no State can consider any part of Europe as its sphere of influence," the three said.

The prime ministers of Poland and Ukraine signaled earlier this month that a trilateral cooperation was in the works.

Stanitsa Luhanska came under massive shelling
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
[Korrespondent] Separatist shells hit four houses and damaged two gas pipelines. The fire broke out in one building.

Rescuers of the State Emergency Service on Thursday evening, February 17, checked a number of reports of fires in Stanytsia Luhanska, which arose as a result of shelling. The press service of the department announced the results of the check .

So, as of 23:00 on Magistralnaya Street in one residential building, as a result of shelling, the ceilings of the building were destroyed, glass was broken in eight windows. There were no casualties.

In another house on this street, ceilings and coatings were destroyed, the pediment of the building was partially destroyed, glass was broken in eight windows. Also here, as a result of a projectile hitting the gas pipeline , the roof caught fire on an area of 4 sq.m. There were no casualties.

On Buzkova Street, near a non-residential building, a gas pipeline was interrupted, there is a gas leak (without combustion). Opposite this house in the building, the facade was damaged and the glass in three windows was broken. Also, no one was hurt.

At the same time, information about a fire in another house on Magistralnaya Street and a house on Vatutina Street was not confirmed.

As the commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant-General Oleksandr Pavlyuk, said earlier, the shelling of Stanytsia Luhanska by the separatists continues, although the intensity has decreased.
Lugansk separatists say it was Ukrainian artillery firing shorts

Photos of the kindergarten in Stanytsia confirm that it was fired from the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

[LugInfo] The analysis of photographic materials with the results of the shelling of a kindergarten in Stanytsia Luhanska suggests that the fire on the institution was fired from Ukrainian positions. This was stated by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR Ivan Filiponenko.

He noted that the headquarters of the so-called joint forces operation "has made a fabricated accusation against the People's Militia of the LPR in allegedly shelling a kindergarten in the village of Stanitsa Luganskaya." Filiponenko added that the photographs presented to the public with the results of the shelling "became indisputable evidence of the involvement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this crime."

“Our experts studied the photographic materials in detail and carried out their thorough analysis. The location of the kindergarten building, the angle at which the wall was hit, made it possible to calculate the exact trajectory of the projectile, from which the fire was fired, is located on the territory controlled by the 79th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," a representative of the People's Militia said.

He added that "any sane person will determine that there can be no People's Militia units in that direction by definition."

"All this proves that the farce with the destruction of the kindergarten is a provocation by Kiev in order to destabilize the situation in the Donbass," Filiponenko stressed.

He noted that this "news" was picked up by the Ukrainian propaganda media and "used to divert public attention from the regular violations of the Minsk agreements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the destruction of civilian facilities in the Luhansk Republic."

The head of the People's Militia Department of the LPR, Yan Leshchenko , said that the Ukrainian side publishes staged materials to justify the criminal actions of the Kiev security forces in the zone of the so-called joint forces operation.

Earlier, the Luhansk People's Republic representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had violated the "silence mode" 10 times since the beginning of the day. The areas of Zolote-5, the villages of Sokolniki, Veselenkoe, Nizhne Lozovoye, Lozovoye , Raevka and the urban-type settlement of Donetsk were subjected to shelling . The village of Mykolaivka was fired from 122 mm caliber artillery guns by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of which the gas pipeline was damaged , about 500 subscribers were left without power supply .

Later, the JCCC informed that the Kiev security forces violated the "silence regime" 10 times this afternoon in the area of responsibility of the LPR.

Recall that since the fall of 2014, the participants of the Contact Group for the settlement of the conflict in Donbass have announced more than 20 times that they have reached agreements on observing the “silence regime” in the region. The Kiev security forces repeatedly violated the terms of the truce, including by opening fire from large-caliber guns, mortars and tank guns, which were supposed to be withdrawn in accordance with the Minsk agreements.

The Ukrainian authorities launched a military operation against the Donbass in April 2014. The settlement of the conflict is based on the Set of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, signed on February 12, 2015 in the Belarusian capital by the participants of the Contact Group and agreed with the heads of the countries participating in the Normandy Four (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine). The document, in particular, provides for a ceasefire and the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the line of contact.

Texas National Guard troops assigned to Operation Lone Star become the first guard members to unionize while on active duty and organize with Texas State Employees Union
  • National Guard troops in Texas are legally organizing and forming unions while serving on state active duty orders

  • Federal laws prohibiting members of the military from organizing unions 'does not apply to Guard members on state active duty' DoJ lawyers wrote last month

  • The green-light to organize hinges upon the troops’ legal status as state employees rather than military members when they are on state active duty

  • Usually, Guard troops only go on state active duty for short periods of time such as after a disaster or civil disturbance

  • But Texas' National Guard’s Operation Lone Star, includes up to 10,000 members of the Texas Military Department who are mobilized on year-long orders

  • Operation Lone Star was created by Texas Governor Greg Abbott amidst a wave of illegal immigrants from Central America crossing the US-Mexico border

  • It deploys law enforcement in areas human and drug smugglers known to use
They will join the Texas State Employees Union's Military Caucus.

Their unionization comes after a recent filing by the Justice Department that allows for troops with the Guard to join; their first union meeting is scheduled for next week.

A federal law that had previously prohibited members of the military from organizing unions 'does not apply to Guard members on state active duty or in the Inactive National Guard,' DOJ lawyers wrote in a court filing last month.
Do tell. Whose bright idea was it to organize this effort, and what are his connections to the FBI, et al?

5 spontaneous mass graves discovered
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Sledcom] Disregarding international agreements and acts, since April 2014, representatives of the Ukrainian security forces have been constantly shelling the settlements of Donbass, using indiscriminate lethal weapons designed to most effectively destroy people and infrastructure. The consequence of this was not only the destruction of residential buildings and life support facilities, but also the death and injury of thousands of civilians, Russian-speaking groups that do not participate in the military conflict.

The intent to exterminate the inhabitants of Donbass is obvious - the Russian investigation recorded hundreds of such facts, qualifying as the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare. In the course of the investigation of these crimes, data were obtained on spontaneous common unmarked graves, which were forced to be formed outside specially designated places in connection with the ongoing hostilities.

So, in August - October 2021, in the area of the city of Snezhnoye, the town of Slavyanoserbsk, in the area of \u200b\u200bthe residential area Sokogorovka of Pervomaisk, the village of Vidnoye-1 near Lugansk and on the outskirts of the village. Verkhneshevyrevka, Krasnodonsky district, 5 spontaneous mass graves were discovered. Of these, the remains of at least 295 civilians who died as a result of indiscriminate shelling by Ukrainian armed forces in 2014 were exhumed. It is already known that among the remains there are bodies of women of different ages.

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated a criminal case on this fact under Part 1 of Art. 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - ill-treatment of the civilian population, the use of means and methods in an armed conflict prohibited by an international treaty.

The Investigative Committee will continue to take all possible measures to implement the principle of inevitability of punishment for those responsible for committing crimes in Donetsk and Luhansk lands.
Says Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin
PS. The United States officially refuses to consider what is happening in the Donbass a genocide.

Alleged Turkish attack kills Kurdish fisherman in Duhok’s Shiladze
[Rudaw] The dead body of a Kurdish man was discovered on Wednesday while covered in shrapnel outside the town of Shiladze, Duhok province, with his family claiming that he was killed in an alleged Ottoman Turkish attack.

Hussein Haider Piro (52) had left his home on Tuesday morning to go fishing in the village of Sita, which has been largely abandoned out of fear of Ottoman Turkish incursions nearby.

"I was the first who went to the place [the village]. At first, we discovered his vehicle. We checked the car and it was not damaged at all. At around 12:30 am [on Wednesday] we discovered the body. There were many wound signs on his body, all shrapnel signs. When we discovered the body, it was badly hit," Edris Hussein, Hussein's cousin told Rudaw.

Since April, The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
has been carrying out intense security operations, dubbed as Claw-Lightning and Claw-Thunderbolt, targeting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

Several civilians have been killed while scores of villages in Duhok province have been evacuated.

""We kept waiting for him. So when we didn't hear from him, we informed all of them [their relatives], and they went to the spot to look for him. A rocket had hit his chest." Hadiya Shaaban, Hussein's wife said.

Located in northern Duhok province, Shiladze has been on the frontlines of the Turkey-PKK conflict for years. Residents here say they have been neglected by the government.

According to data from local authorities, a total of 353 villages have been abandoned.

US says Russia has added troops at border despite pullback claims; sat. photos released
[The Hill] A senior Biden administration official said Wednesday that Russia has added as many as 7,000 troops at the border with Ukraine, characterizing claims by Moscow that it was withdrawing forces as "false."

"We have now confirmed that in the last several days, Russia has increased its troop presence along the Ukrainian border by as many as 7,000 troops, with some arriving as recently as today," the official told reporters on a call Wednesday evening.

"Every indication we have now is they mean only to publicly offer to talk and make claims about de-escalation while privately mobilizing for war," the official said, adding that the U.S. is receiving indications that Russia could launch a false pretext to justify an invasion of Ukraine "at any moment."

The official said that a false pretext could take multiple forms, including a provocation in the Donbas region of Ukraine, a claim about NATO military activity, or an incursion into Russia’s own territory.

The comments directly challenged Russian statements about pulling back some forces and being willing to engage in diplomacy over the past 24 hours.

Syrian Helicopter Crash-Lands, Leaving 2 Crew Dead

A Syrian military helicopter crash-landed in a rugged mountainous area during a training mission in the country's northwest on Thursday, leaving two of the five crew members dead.

State media quoted an unnamed military official as saying that the helicopter faced technical problems while flying over the coastal province of Latakia and crash-landed in a mountainous area.

The official said two crew members were killed while three survived, and provided no detail on their condition.

A photo of the helicopter released by state news agency SANA showed its charred remains.

Syria's conflict began in March 2011 and has killed nearly half a million people and displaced half the country's pre-war population of 23 million.

Syrian government forces now control much of the country with the help of Russia and Iran, the main backers of President Bashar Assad. U.S. and Turkish troops have a presence in the country's north and east.

Dutch universities halt compliance with request for info on Jewish, Israel ties
But first they complied, making this move slightly less brave thqn it first appears.
[IsraelTimes] 14 publicly funded institutions say query, filed by pro-Paleostinian group under freedom of information law, led to ’distress and a feeling of insecurity’.

Fourteen Dutch universities said they are suspending their compliance with a freedom of information query from a pro-Paleostinian organization regarding their ties with Israeli and Jewish entities.

The 14 publicly funded institutions, including the University of Amsterdam, the University of Utrecht and the Delft University of Technology, made the announcement Tuesday in a joint statement following an outcry last week over the query by The Rights Forum, which critics say was founded by an antisemite.

The query has led to "distress and a feeling of insecurity. We regret this," read the statement by the Universities of the Netherlands, an umbrella group representing the country’s public universities.

Those institutions have asked for an undisclosed "time extension" in complying with the query, meaning that "currently no further steps are taken to retrieve, collect and/or transmit the information" sought in the query, the statement read.

The universities will "balance" the legal requirements of the freedom of information law that gave the query its legal standing with "other legal frameworks, including those guaranteeing the safety" of university staff, the statement also read.

The universities began gathering the information because the query was certified as what is known in the Netherlands as a WOB request, compliance to which is legally required for public or state-funded organization.

In the request, Gerard Jonkman, director of The Rights Forum, wrote that under the WOB request, he is seeking documents or information on "institutional ties with Israel universities, institutions and businesses and with organizations that propagate support for the State of Israel."

Among the dozens of entities Jonkman listed are Christians for Israel, the Israeli weapons and defense systems producer Elbit, and a right-wing, pro-Israel Dutch-Jewish association.

But the list also includes mainstream Jewish entities from the Netherlands and elsewhere that do not define themselves as Israeli or solely focused on Israel.

Those groups include the Anti-Defamation League, the Central Jewish Board of the Netherlands, the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, B’nai B’rith and even the office of the Dutch government’s own National Coordinator for Fighting Antisemitism, which is headed by Edo Verdonner, who is Jewish.

The Central Jewish Board has called the request antisemitic and urged universities to refuse to comply with it in a statement Tuesday. Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs, the chief rabbi of the Netherlands, also termed the request antisemitic and drew parallels between it and the conduct of Nazi collaborators.

The Rights Forum has not responded to a request for comment by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.

The group was founded by Dries van Agt, a former prime minister of the Netherlands whom the Central Jewish Board has called an antisemite. Van Agt has dismissed this as an attempt to delegitimize his criticisms of Israel.

Van Agt recently accused Israeli settlers of routinely poisoning their Paleostinian neighbors, prompting critics to say he was reviving medieval antisemitic blood libels.

In 2008, he compared Israel to Nazi Germany and spoke at a rally in Rotterdam that featured a televised address by a leader of Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,.

Van Agt has also said that the Jews "should have been given a piece of land" in Germany instead of Israel. In 2017, he praised the Dutch Labour party for being "good for the Paleostinians despite the strong Jewish lobby" in its ranks, according to the Central Jewish Board of the Netherlands. And as the country’s justice minister in the 1970s, he cited his "Aryan" roots in explaining his plan to pardon four Nazi war criminals due to health reasons.

...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) sleeper cells in the eastern province of Deir ez-Zor, killing a "dangerous" member of the group and arresting another.

"The first operation was conducted in the Jazrat al-Milaj, in which our forces managed to neutralize a dangerous terrorist leader called Abu Hamza Shamia who was responsible for planning and committing a terrorist act, on February 10, targeting a post belongs to the Deir Ezzor military council in the al-Zir village, Deir Ezzor eastern countryside, [which] led to the martyrdom of five fighters," the US-allied force said in a statement.

It added that Shamia was "responsible for preparing and planning terrorist acts targeting our fighters and tribal leaders in the region during the past period."

The second operation was also carried out in the same province, arresting Shukri Kamal Khalil who the SDF claims was responsible for the distribution of ammunition and explosives to ISIS fighters in the province. "Large quantities of weapons, ammunition, and narcotics were confiscated," it said.

The new operations come days after the SDF arrested an ISIS financier in Raqqa city. According to the SDF, Mohammed Ahmed Karz admitted to funding and financing ISIS cells in northeast Syria, as well as their families in al-Hol camp.

Checkered Past of FBI Cyber Contractor Who 'Spied' on Trump
[RealClearInvestigations] Long before FBI computer contractor and Clinton operative Rodney L. Joffe allegedly trolled Internet traffic for dirt on President Trump, he mined direct-marketing contact lists for the names and addresses of unwitting Americans to target in a promotional scam involving a grandfather clock.

‘Far-right’ Populist French candidate makes taboo term his mantra
Altered headline mine.
[AlAhram] Two words, taboo for many in La Belle France because they evoke a conspiracy theory embraced by white supremacists, have been haunting the French presidential campaign.

``Great replacement'' rolls off the tongue of presidential candidate Eric Zemmour, an outsider with views to the right of the far-right who has made the term the underpinning of his campaign. But when mainstream conservative presidential candidate Valerie Pecresse pronounced them at her first major rally last weekend, politicians and pundits screamed foul, saying she had crossed a red line.
Overton Window moved.
The ''great replacement'' is the false claim
...for a given value of false that means true, but we won’t admit it...
that the native populations of La Belle France and other Western countries are being overrun by non-white immigrants colonists _ notably Moslems _ who are allegedly supplanting, and one day will erase, Christian civilization and its values.

#1  O Muslims, beware of Zemmours
Who, doubting the future is yours,
Creep deep in your sleep
To replace all those sheep
And drugged underaged infidel poors!

#2  It's not a crazy conspiracy theory. Democrats have straight-up said they're going to replace American voters with illegal aliens and, what was the phrase they used in the Wikileaks, "ensure a permanent Democrat majority".

Government Corruption
Pelosi's Capitol Cops Tried to Sneak Into GOP Congressman's Office Dressed as Construction Workers, Illegally Took Photos of Legislative Documents.
[National Pulse] Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Capitol Police are alleged to have illegally entered the office of Congressman Troy Nehls (R-TX), photographing confidential legislative products and grilling staff, according to reports. The police — now under formal investigation — stand accused of dressing up as construction workers and attempting another entry just two days later.

The stunning, Watergate-style scandal comes after almost a year of warnings that Speaker Pelosi and Democrats in Congress were politicizing the Capitol Police, using them as a Stasi-style enforcement unit against GOP opponents. Reports suggest Capitol Police have built intelligence dossiers on those illegally investigated.

The documents photographed, says Nehls, are "protected by the Speech and Debate clause enshrined in the Constitution, Article 1 Section 6".

Nehls took to Twitter to explain the multiple incidents:

Iranian Plans to Invade Afghanistan in 1998

At 2:49 the narrator bravely points out that the US aided Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda, which directly led to them becoming popular and well-liked throughout the world. Hope Youtube doesn't harm his channel.
