Top Trump official Waltz: Iran must fully dismantle nuke program, not only curb enrichment
[IsraelTimes] After US special envoy to the Mideast Steve Witkoff said Friday that President Donald Trump, in his letter to Iran’s supreme leader, proposed creating a program to verify that Tehran does not weaponize its nuclear material, US National Security Adviser Mike Waltz clarifies that Washington wants Iran’s nuclear program dismantled completely.

“Full dismantlement,” Waltz tells CBS’s “Face the Nation,” after being asked to clarify the Trump administration’s position. “Iran has to give up its program in a way that the entire world can see.”

“All options are on the table, and it is time for Iran to walk away completely from its desire to have a nuclear weapon,” he adds.

Asked about the recent US strikes against the Houthis, Waltz says they have killed key members of the Yemen rebel group’s leadership.

“We’ve hit their headquarters, we’ve hit communications nodes, weapons factories, and even some of their over-the-water drone production facilities just in the last couple of days,” he says, knocking the previous administration for not responding forcefully enough against the Iran-backed group.

Waltz says the Houthis continue to threaten key shipping lanes through the Red Sea. “The last time one of our destroyers went through the straits there, it was attacked 23 times. Seventy-five percent of our US-flagged shipping now has to go around the southern coast of Africa, rather than going through the Suez Canal.”

“Keeping trade and commerce open is a fundamental aspect of our national security,” he adds.

Netivot man suspected of spying on nuclear research center, Haifa port for Iran
[IsraelTimes] A 65-year-old man was arrested last month on suspicion of spying for Iran, the police and Shin Bet say.

Prosecutors in the Southern District Attorney’s Office say they plan to indict Netivot resident Edward Yusupov tomorrow on charges of contact with agents from an enemy country.

Yusupov allegedly took photos of IDF bases, the Haifa Port, Israel’s nuclear research center in the Negev and other sensitive sites at the behest of an Azerbaijani national whom police suspect is an Iranian agent. He intended to transfer the pictures to his handler, officials allege.

The suspect went so far as to rent an apartment overlooking the Haifa Port for the agent’s “operational needs,” police add.

Police say he received tens of thousands of dollars for the tasks he carried out.

13 Paleos tied up in West Bank, IDF foils arms smugglers

IDF says it foiled arms smuggling attempt in the West Bank

[IsraelTimes] The IDF, along with Israel Police and the Shin Bet, have successfully foiled an arms smuggling attempt in the West Bank, the military says.

IDF surveillance soldiers identified suspects involved in smuggling two hunting rifles in the West Bank village of al-Ras, southeast of Tulkarem, the military says in a statement. Forces then quickly located and confiscated the weapons, transferring them for further investigation by the Shin Bet.

The IDF says its forces arrested 20 wanted individuals, interrogated suspects, and seized multiple weapons during a series of counterterrorism operations in the West Bank.

The IDF stresses that it will continue its efforts to combat terrorism and maintain the safety and security of Israeli citizens.

Israel to discuss taking full military control of Gaza with senior US officials: source
[IsraelTimes] Strategic Affairs Minister Dermer said planning to talk about an IDF takeover of enclave, including running humanitarian aid operations; Netanyahu speaks to Rubio

During a visit to Washington DC this week, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer will discuss with senior US officials a plan for Israeli military control over the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip, an Israeli official told The Times of Israel. The plan will include the IDF distributing aid to the war-torn enclave.

The Prime Minister’s Office declined to comment on the intended content of Dermer’s meetings with US National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and other senior intelligence, defense and diplomatic officials.

The office did say that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone on Sunday with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio
...The diminutive 13-year-old Republican U.S. Senator from Florida, Secretary of State in the second Trump administration...
The two discussed attempts to free hostages from captivity in Gaza, and the resumption of combat in the Strip, said Netanyahu’s office. According to the Israeli readout, Rubio expressed "America’s unequivocal support for Israel and its policies."

As of last week, National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi was also slated to fly to DC, but he will not be making the trip, the PMO said without offering a reason for the change.

Dermer was to take off for Washington later Sunday.

According to the Walla outlet, Dermer was leading a delegation from the National Security Council, IDF, Mosssd
......
, Foreign Ministry and Israel Atomic Energy Agency.

Israel has until now avoided pushing for military rule of the Gaza Strip, but with a new IDF chief of staff and defense minister — not to mention a new president in the White House — Israel’s thinking appears to have changed, The Washington Post reported, citing current and former Israeli officials, as well as others, briefed on the developments.

Last September, Netanyahu asked the IDF to look at taking over aid distribution to prevent Hamas
..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
pilfering supplies but both then-defense minister Yoav Gallant and then-IDF chief of staff Herzl Halevi opposed the idea.

However,
a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package...
by February Israeli officials were telling international aid agencies of plans for humanitarian resources to be screened in "logistic hubs" set up by Israel, some agency officials told the US newspaper.

Amir Avivi, a former deputy commander of the military’s Gaza division, told the Post that previously the campaign in Gaza was held back by rifts among political and military leaders, as well as the Biden administration’s wariness over Gazook civilian casualties. However,
a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package...
changes in Israel’s defense establishment, as well as the Trump administration in Washington, has eased such curbs.

"Now there is new leadership, there is the backup from the US," Avivi said, and noted that Israel is also no longer distracted by conflict with Hezbollah in Leb
...home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade....
. "The plans [for the now-resumed Israeli military campaign against Hamas in Gaza] are decisive. There will be a full-scale attack and they will not stop until Hamas is eradicated completely."

Other unnamed sources said the tactics will include targeting Hamas’s civilian leadership while evacuating women, children and vetted noncombatants to "humanitarian bubbles," then focusing on destroying Hamas members who remain behind.

Israeli officials also told The Washington Post that an invasion and occupation of Gaza would demand up to five IDF divisions, a scale of deployment that could burden the IDF, which is already facing hostility from some reservists over the prospect of an open-ended war.

Other officials contended that just such an invasion is needed to achieve Netanyahu’s war goal of destroying Hamas.

The war began on October 7, 2023, when the Paleostinian terror group Hamas led over 5,000 attackers to invade southern Israel, killing 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and abducting 251 as hostages to the Gaza Strip.

The following day, Iran-backed Hezbollah began attacking along the northern border, igniting a conflict that escalated into an open war that ended with a ceasefire last November, after Israel inflicted heavy damage on the terror group.

Then in January, Israel reached a mediated ceasefire with Hamas. The complex, three-phase plan saw dozens of hostages released during its initial stage but then failed to proceed further amid mutual accusations of violations.

Last week, Israel launched widespread Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s on Gaza, accusing Hamas of refusing to extend the ceasefire framework.

According to the Washington Post, the renewed Israeli offensive was notable in that it also targeted members of Hamas’s civil administration and not just military figures.

In the meantime, Israeli officials said they are waiting to see how negotiations on continuing the ceasefire play out and that no decisions have yet been made on increasing the current offensive or what shape an escalation would take. So far, Israel has largely been striking Gaza from the air, although there have also been some ground maneuvers.

Throughout the war, Netanyahu has faced criticism — including from the previous Biden administration — for not presenting a "day after" plan for Gaza when the war ends. Though various ideas were reportedly under consideration, US President Donald Trump
...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party...
in February offered his vision of clearing Gaza of its residents so that the US could develop the territory as a "riviera."

Though the notion has been rejected outright by the Paleostinians and Arab nations, it has been embraced by Netanyahu and especially by members of his coalition who seek the reestablishment of Israeli settlements in Gaza.

Protesters clash with police in Jerusalem as thousands march against government
[IsraelTimes] As cabinet votes no confidence in Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, thousands march across the capital towards Netanyahu’s private house, where police arrest at least three

Police clashed with protesters near Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence in Jerusalem on Sunday, as thousands marched across the capital to demonstrate against the government’s moves to fire Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar and Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara.

At least three protesters were arrested, according to police.

On Sunday afternoon, thousands of protesters streamed toward Jerusalem’s Azza Road from the direction of the Knesset, many of them carrying tents they planned to set up as part of an overnight protest encampment near Netanyahu’s private residence on the busy street.

Holding Israeli flags and bullhorns, demonstrators blew horns, rolled their eyes, jumped up and down, and hollered poorly rhymed slogans real loud and held pictures of hostages, singing a familiar song from Hanukkah, "Though the night is cold and dark/ In our soul, there lies a spark."

Sunday’s protests took place as the cabinet voted no confidence against Baharav-Miara, unanimously. The vote was the first step in a process to dismiss her, as the government has said she has acted as an arm of the opposition and stands in the way of its policies.

Baharav-Miara, who did not attend the cabinet meeting, said in a letter to the cabinet earlier on Sunday that the effort to fire her was born of the government’s fundamental misunderstanding of her role, and insisted it was her job to tell the government when it was acting unlawfully.

According to Channel 12, police blocked off an additional section of road near Netanyahu’s house, and confiscated equipment from the encampment such as tents, mattresses and chairs.

Later in the afternoon, police clashed with the crowd in front of Netanyahu’s residence, as a number of protesters attempted to break through crowd control barricades.

Police and border coppers were filmed shoving demonstrators away from the two rows of barricades separating them from Netanyahu’s home.

Police said they arrested three protesters during the demonstrations in the capital, and brought the suspects in for questioning.

One demonstrator hit a Border Police officer in the head, according to a law enforcement front man. No serious injuries were reported.

Well over 100,000 people attended protests in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and dozens of other cities across Israel on Saturday night as anger mounted over both the planned removal of the country’s top gatekeepers and the resumption of the war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. Chief rabbi of Orléans assaulted in antisemitic hate crime, French authorities say
[IsraelTimes] Rabbi Arié Engelberg is attacked while walking with son, suffering head injury; teenage suspect is arrested; Macron condemns incident as example of the ‘poison’ of antisemitism

The chief rabbi of Orléans, La Belle France was attacked and assaulted in the city on Saturday evening, in what French President Emanuel Macron described as a shocking example of the "poison" of antisemitism.

Rabbi Arié Engelberg was physically attacked and subjected to antisemitic slurs by an assailant, while walking with his young son in the center of the French city on Saturday evening, according to local media reports. Engelberg was struck on the head and bitten on the shoulder during the attack, a source following the case told AFP.

French authorities are treating the incident as an antisemitic hate crime.

Hebrew media reported that the rabbi, who suffered head injuries, was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition was described as stable but serious.

The suspect was arrested shortly after the assault and transferred to a psychiatric facility, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin confirmed. "I condemn with the greatest firmness the antisemitic attack of the chief rabbi of Orléans," he posted on X. "He has all my support. The suspect was arrested and placed in a psychiatric facility."

Security cabinet approves 13 West Bank ‘neighborhoods’ to become independent settlements
Intransigence has a lost opportunity cost — finally.
[IsraelTimes] Former illegal outposts to get councils, eased funding; Smotrich: An important step on path of ‘de facto sovereignty’; Palestinian Authority, Hamas condemn move

The security cabinet has approved a decision to split off 13 so-called "neighborhoods" of existing West Bank settlements from their "mother settlement," thereby turning them into 13 independent settlements.

Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who advanced the security cabinet’s decision in his additional role as a minister in the Defense Ministry, described the move on Sunday as an important step to the path of "de facto [Israeli] illusory sovereignty" over the West Bank.

The "neighborhoods" in question were built many years, and even decades, ago, as illegal settlement outposts, that is, without formal cabinet approval.

Some of these outposts were retroactively legalized by the government by way of approving building plans for the construction of a new neighborhood for an authorized and legal settlement at the site of the illegal outpost, even when, as in many cases, that outpost was several kilometers from the original settlement.

This was all done at a time when Israel was cautious about the diplomatic consequences of settlement expansion, and therefore built the so-called settlements as "neighborhoods" to disguise the reality of settlement expansion.

The decision to now formally split off the neighborhoods as new settlements allows the government to provide budgets for each of them individually, as opposed to designating money for it through its old mother settlements. They will also all get their own municipal councils.

The new settlements were Alon, Haresha, Kerem Reim, Neriya, Migron, Shvut Rachel, Ovnat, Brosh Habika, Leshem, Nofei Nehemia, Tal Menashe, Ibei Hanahal and Gvaot.

Smotrich charged that the previous situation caused those neighborhoods "great difficulties in their daily management," and that the new step will help them to "advance and develop."

"We are continuing to lead a revolution in the normalization and formalization of settlements," the head of the Religious Zionism party wrote on X. "Instead of hiding and apologizing we are raising the flag, building and settling. This is another important step on the way to de facto [Israeli] illusory sovereignty in Judea and Samaria [the West Bank]."

Smotrich is open in his desire to permanently stymie the establishment of a Paleostinian state and for Israel to annex large swaths of the West Bank and Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks.
The Paleostinian Authority foreign ministry on Sunday condemned the decision to recognize the new settlements as a show of "disregard for international legitimacy and its resolutions."

The ministry also mentioned the ongoing major Israeli military operation in the northern West Bank, saying it was accompanied by "an unprecedented escalation in the confiscation of Paleostinian lands."

The Hamas
..one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,...
terror group also "strongly condemned" the move, as well as Smotrich’s remarks, describing them as proof that settlements were a "racist replacement project."

While the international community considers all settlements illegal, Israel differentiates between settlement homes built and permitted by the Defense Ministry on land owned by the state, and illegal outposts built without the necessary permits, often on private Paleostinian land. In recent years, though, the government has increasingly sought to regulate the wildcat outposts, rather than demolish them.

Earlier this month, the left-wing Peace Now organization reported that a record number of illegal settlement outposts were established in 2024 and the year saw an all-time high for land appropriation.

The organization’s annual review of settlement activity noted that a record 59 illegal outposts, groups of structures not authorized by the government, were set up across the West Bank in 2024, while more land in the territory was declared "state land" — making it available for residential, commercial or agricultural development — than in any year since the Oslo Accords were signed in 1993.

In 2017, Peace Now published a study called "Unraveling the Mechanism Behind Illegal Outposts," detailing the methods through which illegal settlement outposts are established, including through the assistance of local settlement municipal authorities and non-governmental organizations, and the failure of law enforcement agencies to investigate such activity.

Last year, Settlement and National Projects Minister Orit Strock — a politician from Smotrich’s Religious Zionism party — told residents of a newly recognized West Bank settlement that she was delighted by the "miracle period" of settlement expansion ushered in by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.

Fetterman: I fully support partnering with Israel to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities
The Democrats used to be like him, but then they “evolved”.
[IsraelTimes] "I refuse to turn my back on Israel," the senator from Pennsylvania said, adding that many of his fellow Democrats "have lost their way, but I will continue to be that voice in my party."

Over the last several years and particularly since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has felt isolated diplomatically. Perhaps most painful for the Jewish state has been waning support among American Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
, once stalwart defenders of Israel.

A near-lone voice from the left flank of the party has been Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman. A towering giant easily recognized by his hooded sweatshirt attire, Fetterman has stood up for Israel time and again when other members of his party refused to do so.

When it comes to Israel, Fetterman is about as hawkish as it gets, willing to support it in its war efforts against Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and its network of terror proxies, including Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
and Hezbollah.

The senator is on his second trip to Israel in the past year, touring the country, including on a Blackhawk helicopter, meeting families of Israeli hostages as well as those who lost loved ones in the war, and taking in Israeli culture, including what he calls "some of the best food in the world."

This time he came on a mission organized by Relief Resources, an organization dedicated to matching up those in need of mental health care with the best available professional for their personal situation.

Fetterman, who was hosted with his wife, Gisele, on Wednesday by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, sat down on Thursday with a small group of hand-picked journalists in Jerusalem to discuss Israel’s war, his steadfast support for the Jewish state and the U.S.-Israel relationship.

SUPPORT FOR MILITARY ACTION AGAINST IRAN
Fetterman was unequivocal when asked about taking military action to eliminate Iran’s nuclear capabilities. "I don’t think you can really effectively negotiate with that regime," he said, suggesting that using military force is the only option.

Pressed further, Fetterman said, "Oh yeah. Blow it up! Blow it up! I think we should waste what’s left of their nuclear facilities."

When asked directly whether he would support the United States joining Israel in such an operation, he confirmed he would back "partnering with Israel in that way... [with] whatever tools from the U.S., I would fully support that. Yeah, so however you describe that partnership, I fully support it," Fetterman told JNS.

"I support that, and I think there is really a once-in-a-generation opportunity to do that after it’s been demonstrated that Iran lacks the capabilities to really project their threats," he added.

DEMOCRATIC PARTY’S HARSH STANCE ON ISRAEL
Throughout the interview, Fetterman expressed deep disappointment in members of his own party who have distanced themselves from Israel.

"My party has, some of them, chosen to back away from supporting Israel," he said. "I’ve always refused to pander to other factions."

He criticized Democrats who attempt to equivocate on the issue, urging them to "stand with civilization, stand with democracy."

Fetterman went on to suggest that "my party was punished" during the recent elections for failing to be "unapologetically supportive of Israel." He pointed to Michigan, a state with a strong Moslem community and a progressive, Paleostinian-American Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib
...the very first ever Paleostinian-American ever sworn into Congress in 2019. She is a member of The Squad and consistently votes against the U.S. national interest. She's a Dem, naturally, from a safe district you wouldn't want to live in (Michigan's 12th congressional district). She wants the country to be kinda like Gaza only without any Jews for neighbors...
as one of the swing states that voted for Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
"How ironic... Does Representative Tlaib just sit there while she [holds a] paddle and yelling during [Netanyahu’s] joint address, when you helped elect Trump. Do you really actually process this?"

CONDEMNATION OF PALESTINIAN LEADERSHIP AND ’PAY FOR SLAY’
When asked by JNS whether the Paleostinian Authority should be classified as a terrorist organization for continuing its "Pay for Slay" policy—paying Death Eaters who attack Israeli civilians—Fetterman’s response was unfiltered.

"That’s disgusting," he told JNS. "I’ve read interviews where one of them, they’re like, ’Hey, that’s controversial to stop paying people that kill innocent civilians.’ What’s wrong with you?"

He added that in the recent negotiations with Hamas to see the release of hostages taken on Oct. 7, "Israel is forced to release prisoners that killed innocent civilians and they are cheered like heroes. I hope Israel never forgets or forgives. I hope they finish them out later."

He also pointed to Paleostinian society’s glorification of violence. "Look at the optics—when they release hostages, they cheer it like a Steeler game. And cheering even a casket of a child that they beat to death. That’s perverse."

STANCE ON HOSTAGES AND ISRAEL’S MILITARY CAMPAIGN
Fetterman was adamant about prioritizing the return of hostages taken on Oct. 7, criticizing members of his party who have focused on advocating for Paleostinian activists instead.

"There are human beings still in tunnels right now as we speak," he said. "And now Israel was forced back to start the kinds of war back in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
. Well, it’s because... Hamas doesn’t want peace. They don’t want peace because they all understand that what they have left is keeping those poor people in tunnels. And that’s outrageous."

When asked by JNS whether he believes there is a moderate liberal force among Paleostinians that could rule Gaza, Fetterman suggested that the Paleostinian people should reject their present leadership amid an integrated regional approach to peace.

With regard to the future of Gaza, he said, "It’s entirely appropriate to hold a lot of those other countries in the region... hold them accountable too."

"Israel should not be forced to fight [alone] and they deserve the kinds of allyship from a lot of these nations where they should all agree, we all need peace. And so for me, what I would like for Gaza is a place where Paleostinians reject the kinds of leadership that they’ve had for I think 17 or 18 years. And they have to turn their backs on and remove [the Hamas] charter that the front and center is destroying Israel as their organizing principle."

Regarding those trying to spin the story to one of Israeli aggression against an innocent population, Fetterman was adamant. "So that’s part of the lie and part of the distortion in American media," he said.

"They have been there for over 500 days. And yet, we have people in my party preoccupied with an activist at Columbia University? That individual gets his meals, a bed, a lawyer, and due process. The hostages have none of that. None."

Fetterman is one of few Democrats to speak out powerfully against the pro-Hamas protests on university campuses and in support of President Trump’s initiative to withhold federal funding as a result.

"For me, Columbia University was kind of ground zero of that monoculture run amuck and allowed antisemitism to take over," he stated. "And now it’s incredibly politically dangerous as a Democrat to support what President Trump did to punish Columbia with about $400 million, and to withhold those things."

He added that to "allow the mob rule is not free speech, creating tent cities to create that kinds of chaos and terrorize Jewish students." Fetterman said that he "met with Jewish students across the country and they’ve reached out and it’s like, they don’t deserve to live like that."

RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL’S PREMIER
Fetterman maintains a strong relationship with Netanyahu. "I was very supportive of the prime minister. Some people might think he’s the wrong leader, whatever. Hey, if you have a choice and our ally, a Democratic-elected leader, well, I’m definitely going to stand on that side."

He was critical of fellow Democrats, including Sen. Chuck Schumer
...Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras and microphones. Schumer has been a professional politician since 1975, when disco was in flower, which is 49.29771 years. Senate minority leader as of 2017...
, who refused to acknowledge Netanyahu during a joint congressional address. "That’s pathetic," he told JNS. "Basic courtesy is just saying hello, even if you don’t agree politically. But to refuse to shake his hand—it’s just sad."

In their meeting, the prime minister gifted Fetterman a silver beeper, a symbolic nod to Israeli forces’ efforts in eliminating terrorist leaders. Fetterman embraced the gesture. "Oh, I love it. Thank you!" he said.

ADDRESSING ANTISEMITISM AND PROGRESSIVE POLITICS
Fetterman acknowledged that within the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, support for Israel has waned. He linked this shift to the increasing presence of antisemitism in left-wing political movements.

"More and more, being anti-Israel is becoming part of progressive politics," he told JNS. "That’s pathetic."

He was also blunt about the contradictions within certain activist groups. "You have ’Queers for Paleostine,’" he noted. "Well, don’t find out how that would go for you in Gaza."

While many Israelis consider Fetterman a hero for standing up for Israel, the senator said he didn’t want any such distinction. "I push back that or the word ’courage’ being a senator, that’s not courageous for me. I’m just doing a job and it’s like, these are my values," he said.

"I’ve met people where they’ve lost their husbands, two women, they both have eight children. To me, I describe that as courage. Raising eight children after your husband was lost defending Israel. Or children that are able to play on the same sacred space [a soccer field in the Druze village of Majdal Shams] that [12] children were murdered from a rocket. So to me, that’s courage."

STRENGTHENING U.S.-ISRAEL TIES
Fetterman called for strengthened U.S. support for Israel, rejecting any notion that his party should distance itself from the Jewish state.

"I refuse to turn my back on Israel," he told JNS, adding that many of his fellow democrats "have lost their way, but I will continue to be that voice in my party."

He said his visit to Israel further solidified his beliefs, describing the nation as a beacon of democracy in a hostile region. "People need to see what they’ve created here," he said. "They don’t deserve to have to constantly defend that way of life. And that’s why we must remain one of Israel’s strongest allies."

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Trump and Bibi Issue an Ultimatum. Iran and Hamas Should Heed It.
[WashingtonFreeBeacon] After more than two weeks of fruitless negotiations for further hostage releases, Israel’s patience ran out. On Tuesday, the Israeli military bombarded Hamas
..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
leaders and positions in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
, and ground forces soon reentered the Hamas-ruled enclave.

Renewed fighting caused consternation for many. The remaining hostages’ friends and family fear for the safety of their loved ones. Israelis of all stripes want their countrymen free from the horrors described by some of the recently released captives. And Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political opponents accuse him of restarting the war to wriggle his way out of the most recent scandal to rock Israeli politics.

Focusing too narrowly on Gaza and Hamas, however, obscures the greater forces at play in the region. Jerusalem is acting like it is gearing up for the final confrontation with Iran, and it is taking Tehran’s pieces off the table in conjunction with the Trump administration.
Focusing too narrowly on Gaza and Hamas, however, obscures the greater forces at play in the region. Jerusalem is acting like it is gearing up for the final confrontation with Iran, and it is taking Tehran’s pieces off the table in conjunction with the Trump administration.

Last week, a letter from President Trump reportedly reached Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...>
. The message: Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
has two months to come to terms with Washington. As National Security Adviser Mike Waltz said this weekend, "Iran has been offered a way out of this." It can either hand over its missile, uranium enrichment, and weaponization programs "in a way that is verifiable, or they can face a whole series of other consequences."

So far, Iran is sticking with its usual tactic—defiance. After Trump announced the letter, Khamenei retorted, "They constantly say, ’We won’t allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.’ If we had wanted to build nuclear weapons, the U.S. wouldn’t have been able to stop us." Starting in December, Iran massively sped up its uranium enrichment program, and according to the ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency, by February, it had a stockpile of nearly weapons-grade uranium that could yield six bombs.

Iran can now get weapons-grade uranium at any time, and it is researching how to speed up the rest of its nuclear program. Toward the end of last year, the intelligence community assessed that the Iranians are working on shortcuts to shrink the time for making a bomb from about a year to only a few months.

The mullahs have crept right up to the edge of nuclear capability before, and previously they have traded parts of their program for diplomatic concessions, such as Obama’s misbegotten 2015 deal. Tehran has retained its enrichment program and its cadres of nuclear scientists so it can create new pawns to sacrifice as needed while moving toward its greater goals.

But over the past year, it has lost a lot of other pieces. Hezbollah, which had functioned as Iran’s strategic reserve in the region, is a shell of itself after Israel annihilated its leadership last fall. Syria used to be one of the Lebanese terrorist group’s primary supply routes, but the new regime in Damascus is clashing with it. Hezbollah rocketed Israel the day after Hamas began the war, but it is issuing only condemnations, not even threats, as the fighting resumes.

The Trump administration is pummeling another of Iran’s proxies, Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
’s Iran's Houthi sock puppets
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him...
s. The Houthis began attacking international shipping in the Red Sea in November 2023, and the Biden administration responded with only pinprick attacks. But last weekend, Trump began a much more damaging bombing campaign. The Houthis have been notoriously hard to dislodge, but if the U.S. military can pin them down and restrict their access to advanced weapons, they will be much weaker.

Hamas is one of the last Iran-backed groups that can seriously threaten Israel, and Netanyahu is hitting it again. This is controversial in Israel. Most of his countrymen seem to want to enact stage two of the ceasefire plan, which would trade all of the remaining hostages for a permanent end to fighting, and then finish off Hamas.

This is highly unrealistic. Hamas's leaders are not very interested "martyring" themselves—in their view, that’s what Gaza’s children are for—and the remaining hostages are their best human shields. Returning the captives would remove the greatest obstacle to Israel finishing off the terrorists. They are not going to do that unless they believe that the only other choice is annihilation. That is the choice Bibi is offering them.

Bibi and Trump both prefer to intimidate with threats rather than risk war, which Carl von Clausewitz called "the province of chance." But they are shrewd judges of power, and with Iran’s empire so weakened, Iran’s most advanced air defenses destroyed in an earlier Israeli air raid, and hard-earned Israeli expertise in tunnel fighting against Iran’s proxies, this is the best chance in decades to take out Iran's bomb.

If Hamas and Iran are wise, they’ll take the deal.

Fifth Column
Trump Administration Weighs Sanctions on Foreign Funders of Pro-Hamas Campus Protests
More sunshine and consequences. And more winning!
[WashingtonFreeBeacon] The effort would target prominent Qatari nationals who have financed groups like Students for Justice in Palestine

The Trump administration is mulling plans to sanction the international funders behind pro-Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
protests, including prominent Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
i nationals who have vast financial holdings inside the United States, current and former U.S. officials familiar with the internal discussions told the Washington Free Beacon.

The effort seeks to build upon President Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
’s January executive order authorizing the deportation of foreign students engaged in often illegal anti-Semitic demonstrations on college campuses across the country. Instead of targeting the protests' participants, it would target their funders. The administration could, for example, slap sanctions on foreign individuals who provide groups like Students for Justice in Paleostine with significant funding. In cases where those individuals enjoy U.S. visas, it could revoke them.

"President Trump has made it a priority to ensure that Jewish students, indeed all students, feel safe and free from harassment on college campuses," one senior U.S. official, who spoke on background to discuss the ongoing deliberations, told the Free Beacon. "To that end, his administration is taking a comprehensive approach, not just looking at the visas and green cards of student instigators, but also, for example, going after the people funding the protests, wherever they may be."

The plans reflect a growing appetite inside the administration to hamstring Hamas's allies in the United States by penalizing their most prolific funders, including several former Qatari officials known to maintain relations with the Iran-backed group. Iranian government actors have also funded anti-Israel protests in the United States, former director of national intelligence Avril Haines revealed last summer.

Some officials within the Biden administration discussed similar plans to cut off foreign funding or the protests, according to a former U.S. diplomat involved in the efforts both then and now, who said the administration shelved the plans so as not to upset Doha's government as it mediated peace talks between Israel and Hamas.

"This was on the menu when I was there, but the previous administration was a bit squeamish about taking extreme measures, like revoking visas," said the diplomat. "But that’s not a problem in this administration, and we’re hearing they’re looking at all options—from sanctions on individuals to the revocation of visas."

"You can't get rid of anti-Semitism on campus without getting rid of the funding, and the funders are Qatar."

The Trump administration has already taken similar action when it comes to America's southern border. In early March, Secretary of State Marco Rubio
...The diminutive 13-year-old Republican U.S. Senator from Florida, Secretary of State in the second Trump administration...
announced visa restrictions on "foreign government officials, including immigration and customs officials, airport and port authority officials, and others believed to be responsible for knowingly facilitating illegal immigration to the United States." Less than two weeks later, Rubio restricted visas for current and former government officials complicit in China’s genocide of the Uyghur minority population.

The latter announcement closely mirrors policy proposals on the table to target current and former foreign officials bankrolling the pro-Hamas movement in America, particularly those from Qatar, which continues to maintain close ties to Hamas and finance its operations.

One of those former officials who has drawn attention is Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, a prominent Qatari businessman and royal family member who served as Doha’s prime minister from 2007 to 2013.

Al Thani, along with former Qatari emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, co-owns the Maybourne Beverly Hills, a luxury hotel that has faced pro-Israel protests in recent months.

The leader of the protests, Beverly Hills-based rabbi Pini Dunner, held meetings in February with Trump administration officials and members of Congress about forwarding plans to target the Al Thanis and other Qataris known to finance Hamas.

"A number of those I spoke to revealed that their visas are being looked into, as well as their ability to conduct business in the United States," Dunner told the Free Beacon. "U.S. politicians are not fools, and they will not allow this country to be made a fool of by these people any longer."

A senior GOP congressional official familiar with the talks confirmed that Republican politicians are crafting parallel plans to target those financing Hamas’s U.S.-based propaganda arms, which include groups like Students for Justice in Paleostine and other campus organizations.

"Trump's Executive Order provides the basis for going after the backers of illegal pro-Hamas protests, and Trump officials are doing exactly that," the official told the Free Beacon. "There are mountains of evidence that Qatar paid for groups committed to halting Israel's campaign against Hamas. Everyone knows where the investigation into illegal protests will end up, and Republicans will look to punish those responsible."

Barack Obama Was Using USAID to Pretend to Send ‘Aid' Overseas But Was Laundering It to Train ‘Rent-a-Riots' Instead
[Gateway] Mike Benz, the founder of the Foundation for Freedom Online, recently joined Joe Rogan on his very popular podcast The Joe Rogan Experience with over 19 million subscribers.

** The entire podcast is here.

The podcast was filmed several weeks ago but a clip from this discussion is making the rounds this week on social media.

During their conversation, Mike Benz shared how Barack Obama was using money to USAID to pretend to send "aid" overseas. In actuality, Obama was laundering the taxpayer dollars and using it to train "rent-a-mobs" instead!
Just a few toys for his boys — remember that he started out as a trainer of the Alinsky method for activists.
This is a huge development but maybe not so surprising considering how Democrats believe they can do anything they please. With other people’s money.

DOJ Explores Criminal Charges Against Ousted USIP Mutineers
[DC] The Department of Justice is exploring potential criminal charges against former U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) officials who attempted to block the Trump administration’s leadership changes at the federally funded think tank Monday, a senior DOJ official told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The official, who requested anonymity, told the DCNF the DOJ is examining whether certain USIP actions — such as the removal and destruction of internal and external door locks — created illegal fire hazards. The official also flagged the widespread distribution of internal flyers instructing USIP staff not to cooperate with incoming Trump administration officials as potentially obstructive conduct. The DCNF was the first to report on USIP’s internal flyer campaign and destruction of door locks.

"Eleven board members were lawfully removed, and remaining board members appointed Kenneth Jackson acting president," Anna Kelly, White House deputy press secretary, previously told the DCNF. "Rogue bureaucrats will not be allowed to hold agencies hostage. The Trump administration will enforce the President’s executive authority and ensure his agencies remain accountable to the American people."

The inquiry — which remains in its early stages, the official emphasized — follows a contentious standoff Monday after former USIP leadership tried to block the installation of Kenneth Jackson, who President Donald Trump appointed as the institute’s new president on March 14. The Trump administration determined the institute had failed to comply with a Feb. 19 executive order requiring federally funded organizations like USIP to scale operations down to their bare statutory minimums, triggering a leadership shakeup the institute attempted to resist.

USIP leadership began preparing for a confrontation weeks before the executive order was issued. A Feb. 6 internal document exclusively obtained by the DCNF outlined plans to deny building access to outside officials and reasserted the institute’s discretion over security systems and facilities. Flyers with the names and photos of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) officials were posted throughout the building, instructing staff to report their presence and avoid conversation.

Hunter Biden associate to receive Trump pardon
[NYPOST] Hunter Biden's beleaguered former business partner, Devon Archer, will receive a full and unconditional pardon, President Trump revealed exclusively to the New York Post.

The president promised Archer the pardon when they met at the NCAA wrestling championships in Philadelphia Saturday night, an encounter arranged by another former Hunter Biden associate-turned-whistleblower, Tony Bobulinski.

''He's getting a full pardon,'' Trump told me Sunday. ''He was screwed by the Bidens. They destroyed him like they tried to destroy a lot of people.

''A full pardon,'' Trump repeated, describing Archer as an ''anti-Biden person'' because of his pivotal role in exposing Biden corruption.

The presidential clemency will end a decade-long ordeal for Archer, who was facing jail time for securities fraud over a bad deal he was involved in with Hunter Biden in 2015.

Suspected terrorist fatally shot in Israel after stabbing soldier and opening fire on passing cars, killing driver
[NYPOST] A suspected terrorist was rubbed out by border police in Israel early Monday after he stabbed an Israeli soldier, stole his rifle and opened fire on passing cars, killing an elderly man.

The crazed killer, 25-year-old Karem Jabarin, crashed a car into a bus stop at the Tishbi Junction on Route 66 near the lower Galilee city of Yokne'am and stabbed a 20-year-old soldier stationed there, according to Israeli authorities.

He then grabbed the soldier's rifle and shot up passing cars as he ran down the highway, killing a 85-year-old man identified as Moshe Horan, of Kibbutz HaZore'a, who was driving by with his 51-year-old son, the Times of Israel reported.

Kash Patel to Cut 'as Many as 1,000 ATF Agents'
[Breitbart] A report from CNN indicates FBI director Kash Patel — who is also ATF acting director — plans to cut “as many as 1,000 ATF agents” and move them to the FBI.

This will represent a cut of roughly one third of the ATF’s current agents.

According to CNN:

The move represents a major cutback of the ATF, an agency that long has been in the crosshairs of gun rights groups that believe its work infringes on Second Amendment rights. The ATF has about 2,600 agents and more than 5,000 employees, a number that has remained largely unchanged for years.

ICE Arrest 31 Illegals at Cockfight in Puerto Rico
[Breitbart] Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 31 illegal aliens at a cockfight in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the agency said in a press release.

ICE added that three of those arrested were charged for criminal activity for organizing the illegal cockfight event, the statement added.

“This operation is part of ongoing enforcement under the Presidential Executive Order, to combat illegal immigration across Puerto Rico. Local enforcement partnerships are key to fulfill our mission of keeping our communities safe,” said ICE Homeland Security Investigations San Juan Special Agent in Charge Rebecca González-Ramos.

ICE is focused on public safety and national security threats. Individuals illegally present in the United States who are encountered during an enforcement operation may be taken into custody and processed for removal as stated by law,” the press release continued.

Former Utah Rep. Mia Love, the first black Republican woman elected to the US House, has died
[NYPOST] Former US Rep. Mia Love, the first Republican black woman elected to Congress, has died, her family announced Sunday night.

She was 49.

“With grateful hearts filled to overflowing for the profound influence of Mia on our lives, we want you to know that she passed away peacefully today,” Love’s family wrote in a statement on X.

Love, who represented Utah's 4th Congressional District from 2015 to 2019, died at her home in Saratoga Springs, about 30 miles outside Salt Lake City.

The former congresswoman had been battling brain cancer and recently underwent immunotherapy as part of a clinical trial at Duke University's brain tumor center before her death.

Love's daughter said earlier this month that her mother's cancer was no longer responding to treatment.

Fifth Column
NYPD sergeant is suspended over 'spying for the Chinese'
[DM] An NYPD sergeant in the detective bureau is under investigation by the FBI for allegedly spying for the Chinese government, sources exclusively tell DailyMail.com.

Zhu Jiang, who serves in a unit that investigates healthcare fraud and has access to highly sensitive information, has been suspended without pay from the department, a police spokesman confirmed.

Jiang, who is Asian, serves out of the Jacob K. Javitz Building at 26 Federal Plaza, which houses the FBI’s New York field office and is a couple blocks away from police headquarters.

He joined the NYPD in 2013 and has previously served in the organized crime investigative division and in various detective squads in Brooklyn, records show. He earned $169,000 last year.

DailyMail.com’s attempts to reach Jiang were not successful.

He was featured in a Chinese language piece in the Epoch Times in 2016 when he was announced as the NYPD’s neighborhood coordinator for Eighth Avenue in Brooklyn after a spate of robberies in the area that targeted people of Chinese ethnicity.

He got the post because he was one of the few NYPD officers who spoke the Fuzhou dialect of Chinese which is prevalent in that area..

Sources tell DailyMail.com that he is being investigated for espionage on behalf of China. One source said Sunday that he has not been charged or taken into custody.

Jiang is the second NYPD officer to be suspected of spying for China in the past 12 months.

Lt. Steven Li was fired in May last year, the New York Post reported.

Li was working in the Internal Affairs Bureau when he put a Chinese official in touch with a woman he knew.

The official, Sun Hoi Ying, was in the United States as part of Operation Fox Hunt, a program to persuade fugitives to return to China.

The woman, identified only as Huang, who was being targeted by the Chinese government for allegedly embezzling money from a state-owned company and buying properties in her homeland with the proceeds.

In the end, the NYPD decided Li was not acting as a Chinese agent but found him guilty of making false statements and failing to report an FBI probe into him.

Time to Call Out Bull$h!t, Gowdy and Patel
The comments pretty much sum it up. Video is a pathetic love fest.
[ConservativeTreehouse] Sunday Talks – Kash Patel Discusses His FBI Mission Priority with Good Friend and Mentor Trey Gowdy
March 24, 2025
FBI Director Kash Patel makes his first television appearance on Fox News to discuss his mission priority within the FBI. Defending the honorable rank and file FBI agents, Kash Patel notes his intention is to focus on the massive increase in violent crime that has come as an outcome of open borders and illegal alien inflows.

Kash Patel has a long relationship with both Trey Gowdy and current CIA Director John Ratcliffe going back to the days when Patel was the lead staffer for Devin Nunes on the House Intelligence Committee, and Gowdy with Ratcliffe were selected to review the FISA application at the center of ‘Russiagate.’

Mr. Gowdy puts the number of honorable FBI officials at 95% and Director Patel agrees, saying he wants to return to the time when he and his family would invite FBI agents for a cup of coffee. Patel then emphasizes he has already addressed the bad actors within the FBI and will continue to hold the internal investigative officers accountable with a zero-tolerance approach.

During the interview Trey Gowdy wants to emphasize how qualified Kash Patel is for this role in the FBI, delivering effusive praise for his mentee and friend, Director Patel. Gowdy calls Kash Patel the ’employee of the month’ for his excellence and brilliance in his first 30-days. WATCH:

Eighty Years of Unconstitutional Wars Required Income Tax & Corrupt Congress
[News With Views] We lost every war in the last eighty years, none of them for the national security of America or with a Constitutionally-required Declaration of War.

A majority of Congress is complicit, corrupt, well-bribed and swimming in the blood of millions of dead innocents and 105,000 of our military. No group in history is more contemptible than a majority of the blood-sucking Congress that have no ethics, morals, honor or redeeming qualities whatsoever.

How can the people tolerate a Congress responsible for unconstitutional wars, death of millions (including your sons and daughters), while impoverishing the people to do so?

It is a damn shame that during the last eighty years, young people served in the military based on false propaganda. Many were killed or disabled for life. I say it is criminal because the wars were unconstitutional without a Declaration of War, and had nothing to do with the security of the United States. The media and establishment propaganda lied and our military died for profit and bribes.

Veterans must be honored for serving to protect the United States, even if it was based on propaganda. People of military age are mostly interested in the opposite sex and accept media and government-sponsored educational and establishment propaganda as fact, and so do their parents. This reality is difficult to accept if you have been maimed for life or lost a child in an unconstitutional no-win war for profit of the Parasitic Super-Rich Ruling Class (PSRRC).

We need the military on United States soil to protect us from Mexican cartels, freeloaders, and criminals crossing our borders and to deport those already here. The military must also protect us from internal Communist and terrorist attacks.

I repeat what is obvious: the United States can’t be invaded,
…huh? What would you call all those illegals thw Biden-Harris administration shipped in, if not an invasion? Perverts, violent criminals, narco gangs, Communist Chinese sspecial forces soldiers, IRGC soldiers, jihadis — and even some legitimate refugees and economic migrants flowed in by the millions, and immediately set about soaking up benefits and causing trouble…
and it can only be defeated in a nuclear war or by Communists and insurgents already here. Enemies just don’t have the ability to get here in quantity to fight a war (oceans). We have no genuine right or benefit to fight wars overseas unless attacked.
So legitimate wars against Communist China, Iran, Hezbollah-linked Latin American narco gangs and Hezbollah, Al Qaeda-linked Latin American narco-gangs and Al Qaeda…
Bring the troops home where we have 20 million illegal invaders that could be a Democrat/Communist force to overthrow our Republic!
Our military can be used at the border, but they aren’t allowed to fight within the national borders, right?
These foreign wars for profit could not have been fought without funding by the income tax and fiat dollars printed by the unconstitutional and private Federal Reserve Bank. We have unconstitutional fiat money because they couldn’t print gold. All of this was made possible by the Great Coup of 1913 ( see my recent articles).

Note: The PSRRC learned from the Civil War that while tariffs and excise taxes funded the government quite well in peacetime, additional fiat money (Greenbacks) were required to fund a war. The income tax provides that funding.

Of course the Military Industrial Complex portion of the Parasitic Super-Rich Ruling Class (PSRRC) ordered and profited from the wars and paid bribes to Congress. The PSRRC consists of the wealthy owners of stock who control and direct corporations to pay minions in the establishment to do their bidding.

Remember that the federal establishment is not a government, so I don’t refer to it as such. It has unlawfully usurped many state functions, but it is still not a government.

President Trump, please obey the Constitution and bring all of our troops home from 150 countries, terminate all foreign aid and care for the veterans as promised. We have no business in NATO; let Europe defend itself. We have no right to project military force unless we are attacked or to combat piracy. In simple terms, our troops should never be in combat in another country since any effective attack on us must be nuclear. Most of what the government tells us about Israel and Ukraine is a damn lie.
What lies has the Trump government pronounced about Israel? For that matter, what lies has the Trump government pronounced about Ukraine? (They can’t be held responsible for the whoppers emitted by the Biden-Harris administration, which lied as it breathed.)
Sorry, that’s the truth.

As is my wont, I have only covered important points of the subject to increase readership and understanding. Please pass this article on to officials and others who could benefit.

Not to mention the Federal government was no where near the Leviathan monstrosity it is today, and there weren't any social programs to fund. What are the unfunded liabilities of the US gum'ment today, a few hundred trillion or so? I forget, but it's up there.

As for taxes, you can thank Thomas "Woodrow" Wilson and his trusty sidekicks for the introduction of a federal income tax and the Federal Reserve Act, both in/around 1913. That enabled a lot of brave Doughboys to find their final resting places in France. (Yes, France...sickening.)

#2  Constitutionally-required Declaration of War

Note well. Jefferson waged war against the Barbary Pirates without a declaration of war. The entire frontier campaigns against the indigenous population was waged without declaration of war. The Philippine operations against those indigenous peoples was done without a declaration of war. The Vera Cruz and Pershing Expeditions in Mexico were done without a declaration of war.

The big difference is that those operated from a concept we inherited from Parliament. The purse strings were controlled by Congress. It could cut off funds if it sought to. It would do that in the 1970 by cutting funding to aid/assist Vietnam after our withdraw.

In 1948, that which would become the Swamp decided to become the World's Policeman, re-initiating the peacetime draft. With it came the costs both in its impact upon the finances of the state and the liberties of the people, as the Swamp turned inward to keep control and power at any cost.

-Land of the Free
Getting Out of Forever Wars
[Tennessee Star] Since the 9/11 attacks, the United States has been mired in "forever wars"—prolonged conflicts with no clear victory, draining trillions of dollars, thousands of lives, and economic vitality. A 2023 Pew poll shows 54% of Americans favor reducing overseas military commitments, with 83% prioritizing domestic needs—a clear call for change.

The U.S. can no longer afford years of military overreach. A pragmatic strategy emphasizing diplomacy, allied burden-sharing, and strategic restraint is essential to protect national interests without exhausting finite resources.

THE OVERWHELMING COST OF WAR
The post-9/11 wars have exacted a staggering toll. Brown University’s Costs of War Project estimates the U.S. has spent $8 trillion—38% of 2020’s GDP—on conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Syria, equating to $24,000 per citizen.

Future interest on this debt could add $2.2 trillion to the national debt by 2050, burdening future generations. Human losses are equally dire: 7,000 service members and 8,000 contractors killed, 55,000 injured, and 940,000 total deaths from direct violence, with 3.6 million more dying indirectly in war zones.

Beyond numbers, the mental health crisis is profound. Veterans and active-duty personnel from these conflicts have died by suicide at four times the rate of combat losses—over 28,000 since 2001, according to 2022 VA data — mainly driven by post-traumatic stress disorder and repeated deployments.

Adding to the exhausting cost of conflict, caring for these veterans will cost $2.2-$2.5 trillion by 2050. These financial and human costs prove the wars’ unsustainability; constrained resources and public concerns require the U.S. to reassess its global security approach.

RETHINKING OVERSEAS COMMITMENTS
The U.S. maintains 750 military facilities across 80 countries, per a 2021 International Institute of Strategic Studies, at an annual cost of $80 billion—$55 billion for bases alone. The Quincy Institute reports that 91% of post-9/11 operations relied on these bases. Yet, they’ve often fueled instability—think of the disorder stemming from Iraq’s insurgency or Afghanistan’s collapse—rather than the security they were supposed to provide. This sprawling footprint, born of Cold War logic, no longer aligns with today’s fiscal environment, demanding a leaner, more practical approach.

A PRAGMATIC PATH FORWARD
Some argue that overseas military bases help deter terrorism, but the evidence suggests otherwise. According to the Cato Institute (2023), the probability of dying in a U.S. terrorist attack is just 1 in 150 million.

Since 9/11, America has experienced nine terrorist attacks, resulting in a total of 44 deaths. In contrast, during the same period, the U.S. military suffered over 7,000 fatalities and 55,000 injuries in Iraq and Afghanistan, raising questions about the purpose of military operations overseas.

The cost alone is staggering. According to a Cato Institute report, a conservative baseline for total overseas basing costs is $80 billion annually, with some estimates reaching $100-$150 billion. This reflects differing indirect expenses, like troop support, highlighting the obscurity of overseas spending.

A 2023 RAND study also found that 30% of bases lack strategic purpose. A 25% reduction, focusing on outdated Cold War sites and unproductive Middle East efforts, would save $15 billion annually.

However, completely withdrawing is unwise; bases in Japan and Germany still deter Russia and China and allow forces to posture when needed. Closing outdated posts in stable regions—like parts of Europe or Asia—frees billions for pressing domestic defense needs.

The use of hard power has become overextended, yielding little success and eventually weighing heavily on the American public. A more effective strategy entails carefully reducing America’s overseas presence, reallocating resources, and reprioritizing homeland defense.

U.S. Army Special Operations Issues Threat Advisory Over Leftist Attacks On Tesla Owners, Vehicles
[Federalist] The U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) reportedly issued a "threat advisory" on Thursday warning of "possible threats" from radical left-wing activists against the command’s Tesla owners.

In screenshots of the alert obtained by Federalist contributor and retired Army ranger John A. Lucas, the USASOC informed service members of increased "concerns" regarding recent attacks against individuals who own Teslas and dealerships that carry the vehicle.

Within the past few months, extreme left-wing anarchists have been waging a rhetorical and physical war against the electric car company to protest its founder Elon Musk’s role in identifying waste, fraud, and abuse throughout the federal government. These acts of left-wing "resistance" have ranged from harassing Tesla owners to outright vandalizing and destroying Tesla vehicles and dealerships.

The Trump Justice Department and FBI have pledged to crack down on what Attorney General Pam Bondi has referred to as incidents of "domestic terrorism." Three individuals were indicted by the DOJ on Thursday for allegedly destroying Tesla properties.

The USASOC advisory noted that while there are currently "[n]o credible threats directed at USASOC personnel or assets ... there is potential as this is an emerging threat." The notice specifically highlighted a new website called "Dogequest," which "has allegedly published personal details of Tesla owners across the United States, sparking concerns over privacy and security."

"Dogequest is an anonymous website that claims to ’empower creative expressions of protest’ by exposing Tesla owners’ personal data. According to 404 Media, the site includes a searchable database of Tesla drivers along with the locations of Tesla dealerships and charging stations," the USASOC notice reads. "The site, which appears in the wake of anti-Elon Musk protests across the country, displays names, addresses, and phone numbers of Tesla owners on an interactive map and uses an image of a Molotov cocktail as its cursor."

Equally notable, however, is the USASOC alert about an allegedly upcoming "Tesla Takedown" day of action.

The warning noted that "[p]rotesters worldwide are preparing for their largest demonstration yet, 500 coordinated actions at Tesla showrooms on March 29 aimed at CEO Elon Musk’s controversial policies." The notice cited remarks from Alice Hu, named as executive director of the left-wing Planet Over Profit, who purportedly disclosed that such demonstrations will take place at the more than 275 Tesla showrooms across America and "hundreds more abroad."

The threat advisory concluded by encouraging USASOC members to "remain on high alert while in public areas, especially in presence of Tesla branded items" and "[c]ontact the proper authorities for threat-related events once you are in a safe location." It also advised "Tesla branded items owners [to] properly secure their property to prevent unwanted damage to their property" and all personnel to remain in a "safe location" on March 29.

Government Corruption
Trump's Intel Agencies Are Trying To Sabotage Him Again. Will Ratcliffe And Patel Stop It?
[Federalist] A New York Times report on Thursday is either fake or people at the FBI or CIA ran to the paper to undermine their boss, though there’s no real reason both can’t be true.

Under the headline, "Intelligence Assessment Said to Contradict Trump on Venezuelan Gang," the Times cited unnamed "officials" claiming that the violent Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang, members of which the White House says are illegally in the U.S., is not in cahoots with the origin nation’s government. It’s an assertion in direct contradiction to the administration, which has justified the expedited removal of many illegal aliens by claiming that the Venezuelan government works with the gang to destabilize America.

The report went on to say intelligence agencies "concluded that the gang, Tren de Aragua, was not directed by Venezuela’s government or committing crimes in the United States on its orders," though it acknowledged that the conclusion was made with only "moderate confidence," rather than high confidence. It also said that the FBI dissented with the opinion, claiming that the gang does in fact have "a connection" to the Venezuelan government.

If it’s true, then once again, the intelligence community is using media leaks to thwart Trump’s agenda. The president is right now in a legal dispute with a D.C. district judge as to whether the administration is illegally applying the Alien Enemies Act, which gives Trump the authority to remove illegal aliens from a "hostile nation" without a formal court hearing. That any intelligence personnel are aligning themselves with "the resistance" again is something CIA Director John Ratcliffe and FBI head Kash Patel are going to need to address immediately.

This is from the same playbook used in Trump’s first term. To cripple his presidency, the intelligence community, the FBI in particular, steadily plied all-too-willing reporters at the Washington Post, CNN, and the Times with information that was either wrong, out of context, or, at minimum, in dispute. It worked to stunning effect, keeping the jittery public on edge every single day of those four years, weakening support for effectively everything Trump did. That shouldn’t happen again.

The president’s authority on all things immigration shouldn’t be something that requires a defense — even the far-left 9th Circuit Court of Appeals appreciates extreme "executive discretion" on the issue — especially from this president’s own intelligence agencies.

Sugar Stores In The Body May Fuel Common Lung Cancer Progression
[Zero] A recent study from researchers at the University of Kentucky has identified glycogen, a stored form of glucose, as a significant factor in the progression of lung adenocarcinoma, a particularly aggressive form of lung cancer.

HIGH FAT AND SUGAR DIET WORSENS CANCER
The findings, recently published in Nature Metabolism, suggest that heightened levels of glycogen are linked with increased lung adenocarcinoma tumor aggressiveness and poorer survival rates.

Researchers tested the effects of glycogen in mice and humans. Researchers increased glycogen levels in mice through dietary changes and gene modification. This dual approach allowed them to examine the effects of glycogen from different angles.

The mice were fed different types of diets to see how they affected their bodies. The diets included water (as a control), high-fructose corn syrup (a type of sugar), corn oil (a fat), and a mix of high-fructose corn syrup and corn oil.

While both corn oil and high-fructose corn syrup increased glycogen levels in the lungs, after two weeks, the mice receiving the mixed diet (high-fructose corn syrup + corn oil) had much higher glycogen levels and longer glycogen chains in their lungs. Both of which was linked to more aggressive lung tumors when the mice were induced to have lung adenocarcinoma.

These findings indicated that "higher glycogen promotes increased tumour progression," the researchers wrote.

In parallel with the dietary models, the team also used genetic mouse models predisposed to accumulate glycogen in the lungs.

By disabling the enzyme responsible for glycogen production, they found that tumors grew much smaller and were less aggressive. This suggests that targeting glycogen production could be a potential strategy for treating lung adenocarcinoma.

"This integrated approach allows the discovery and validation of key metabolic drivers" necessary for improving treatments for lung adenocarcinoma, the researchers wrote. Through these experiments, they were able to demonstrate that disrupting glycogen production resulted in reduced tumor growth in these mice.

Israel said it used precision weaponry to target and kill Ismail Barhoum at Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, referring to him as a "key Hamas terrorist," as the Paleostinian terror group confirmed his death and said he had been undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in a previous strike.

The strike was one of dozens reported across the territory Sunday and into the early morning hours of Monday, with a separate strike in the Khan Younis area reportedly killing a senior Hamas education official. The IDF also indicated it was preparing to expand ground operations, redeploying an armored division that had been stationed on the border with Leb

Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the widening of the offensive in a statement hailing the killing of Barhoum.

He described the Hamas official, a member of the terror group’s political bureau previously involved in financing its activities, as "the new Hamas prime minister in Gaza, who replaced Issam Da’alis, the previous prime minister who was eliminated a few days ago."

He was at least the fourth member of Hamas’s political bureau killed since Tuesday, when Israel resumed airstrikes in the territory after an impasse over continuing a ceasefire. Earlier Sunday, an Israeli airstrike near Khan Younis killed Salah al-Bardawil, another senior member of its political bureau.

Out of the 20 members of Hamas’s political bureau elected in 2021, 11 have been assassinated during the war in Gaza. Seven are either certain or highly likely to be outside the Gaza Strip.

The Israel Defense Forces said the strike was carried out following "an extensive intelligence-gathering process," and that a "precision munition" was used to mitigate harm to civilians.

The attack was caught on camera by both Al Jazeera and BBC Arabic.

Footage from the scene following the blast showed that the hospital building was largely undamaged in the strike, except for fire blazing in one section off a stairwell.

Paleostinian health officials claimed the attack killed at least five people, and footage on social media appeared to show people extricating bodies and injured people from the rubble.

"The Hamas terrorist organization exploits civilian infrastructure while brutally endangering the Gazook population. The cynical use of an active hospital as a shelter for the planning and executing of murderous terrorist attacks is in direct violation of international law," the IDF statement read.

The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry said the strike hit the surgery department at the hospital, and a Hamas source told AFP that "Barhoum was receiving treatment after sustaining critical injuries in an airstrike targeting his home in Khan Younis at dawn last Tuesday."
Even in Gaza, sometimes a hospital is used like a hoapital.

, which placed sanctions on him last year.

In a separate announcement on Sunday, the IDF and Shin Bet security agency said two senior Hamas military wing commanders had been killed in recent airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.

According to the army, Ahmad Salman ’Awj Shimali, the deputy commander of the Gaza City Brigade, and Jamil Omar Jamil Wadiya, the commander of the brigade’s Shejaiya Battalion, were killed in airstrikes in recent days. The military did not detail where or when they were killed.

According to the IDF, Shimali was "responsible for operations, planning the offensive strategy and building the brigade’s force in preparation for Hamas’s brutal massacre on October 7, [2023]," and during the war, he was responsible for the deployment of the brigade’s force.

Wadiya took over the Shejaiya Battalion after his predecessors were killed in December 2023, according to the army. On December 2, 2023, the IDF killed Shejaiya Battalion commander Wissam Farhat and, a week later, it killed his replacement Emad Qariqa.

"Wadiya was responsible for deploying the battalion’s forces against IDF troops and operated to restore and reorganize the battalion," the military said.

The statement added that Wadiya was also involved in a 2011 anti-tank missile attack on an Israeli school bus driving near the Gaza border. The attack killed 16-year-old Daniel Viflic.

On Monday morning, Gazook media sources reported that overnight strikes had also killed Manar Abu Khater, director of education at the eastern Khan Younis education directorate for the Strip’s Hamas government, among others. A deadly strike was also reported in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza.

MAJOR MOBILIZATION OF TROOPS TO GAZA
Following the killing of Barhoum, Katz said that the ongoing offensive against Hamas was "expanding," vowing that Israel would continue its strikes until the 59 hostages still held by forces of Evil in Gaza are released.

The IDF said Sunday that thousands of troops were preparing to join military operations in Gaza, ramping up the military’s renewed ground offensive against the terror group, which has thus far been carried out with relatively limited forces.

The army’s 36th Division, which spent months in the north and took part in a ground offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon, was redeployed to the Southern Command and had begun preparations for military operations in the Gaza Strip, the IDF said.

Currently, only the IDF’s Gaza Division and 252nd Reserve Division are carrying out operations inside the Gaza Strip. The move would add thousands of more troops to the offensive.

Israel has threatened to expand operations in the Strip as it seeks to pile pressure on Hamas to free hostages still being held in the Strip.

According to a report by Channel 12, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir was pushing to widen the military’s renewed offensive, citing Zamir as telling political officials in recent meetings that "Hamas is stalling for time, it’s a strategy, not a tactic."

"The IDF’s operation hurts [Hamas] and causes some movement, but it doesn’t lead it to release the hostages," Zamir reportedly said. "Therefore, there is no choice, the pressure must be increased."

Despite the resumption of military activity in the Gaza Strip, the IDF Home Front Command on Sunday said it was further easing restrictions on civilians in southern Israel.

Following an assessment, the Home Front Command said it has adjusted the activity scale permitted in the Gaza border communities from "partial activity" to "full activity," meaning there would be no restrictions on schools and workplaces. Over the past week, schools and workplaces were only allowed to open if an adequate bomb shelter could be reached in time.

Gatherings were still limited, however, to 2,000 people in several communities close to the Strip. Gatherings had been capped at 500 indoors and 100 outdoors over the past week.

There have been just two rocket attacks from Gaza since Israel resumed its military campaign. Hamas on Thursday launched three long-range rockets at central Israel, and on Friday it fired two rockets at the southern coastal city of Ashkelon.

NEW BODY FORMED TO ENABLE ’VOLUNTARY’ DEPARTURE OF GAZANS
On Saturday night, the security cabinet approved a suggestion by Katz to establish a new administration in the Defense Ministry tasked with enabling Paleostinians to "voluntarily" leave the Gaza Strip.

In a statement Sunday morning, Katz’s office said the new directorate would work to "prepare for and enable safe and controlled passage of Gaza residents for their voluntary departure to third countries, including securing their movement, establishing movement routes, checking pedestrians at designated crossings in the Gaza Strip, as well as coordinating the provision of infrastructure that will enable passage by land, sea and air to the destination countries."

The head of the directorate will be selected by Katz soon, his office said.

The statement added that the efforts to enable Gazooks who seek to migrate from the Strip to do so are being carried out "subject to Israeli and international law, and in accordance with the vision of US President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
"We are working with all means to implement the US president’s vision, and we will allow any Gaza resident who wants to move to a third state to do so," Katz said.

The military resumed fighting in Gaza last week at the instruction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who vowed that all negotiations for a hostage deal moving forward would be held under fire after Hamas rejected proposals to extend phase one of the previous ceasefire.

Pam Bondi warns Rep. Jasmine Crockett to 'tread carefully' over call for Elon Musk to be 'taken down'
Follow up to the 3/20 Indivisible conference call planning their Tesla Takedown attacks across the country on 3/29.
[FoxNews] Crockett clarified that her calls to action are 'not about violence'

Attorney General Pam Bondi warned Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, to "tread very carefully," days after the Democrat got attention from Trump allies for suggesting Elon Musk should be "taken down."

"She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we are going to fight to protect all the Tesla owners throughout this country," Bondi vowed on this week's "Sunday Morning Futures."

She reiterated her previous pledge that widespread violence against Tesla owners and dealerships — which have seen electric vehicles engulfed in flames and defaced with hostile imagery — will "come to a stop."

Crockett's under-fire remarks came during a nationwide call with the Tesla Takedown movement, a self-described "peaceful protest platform"
…that’s one of those dog whistle thingies by which they mean a “mostly peaceful” Black Bloc Aktion whose rules go back to Stalinist Red Shirts vs Nazi Brown Shirts brawling in the streets of Weimar Germany …
calling for Tesla owners to sell their vehicles and for all to dump their stock in the EV provider.

"On March 29, it’s my birthday," Crockett told the group in reference to an upcoming "Global Day of Action" intended to hit back at the company.

"All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down," she added. "I have learned, as I serve on the DOGE Oversight committee, that there is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money."
So y’all are going to throw lots of money at them? How odd.

Memphis police arrest man after allegedly threatening to ‘butcher' churchgoers with a machete: police
[FoxNews] Zachary Liberto, 30, was charged with Commission Act of Terrorism and is being held on a $200,100 bond

A man was arrested after police say he allegedly threatened to "butcher" church attendees at a Memphis Catholic church.

The Memphis Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that Zachary Liberto, 30, was arrested following a verbal altercation with the priest about defacing the baptismal pool inside the church.

On Friday, officers responded to St. Louis Catholic Church on reports of a complaint from the priest and church's music director about threats made by Liberto.

Officials said Liberto sent an email threatening to cause mass causalities among churchgoers.

The victims also told police that they do not know what caused Liberto to send the email, but said that they both believe he suffers from an unknown mental illness.
And there it is. Good that they arrested him before he acted on the need to kill.
Officials said that both men said that Liberto is also known to have a machete he refers to as "chete" and that he claims to also have a firearm as well, but noted it has never been seen. The victims added that Liberto also stays in a homeless encampment.

This Is Huge in Locating Illegals-The IRS knows all the multiple SSAN filers locations-the Lynchpin clue of illegals working undercover in the US
[CNN] IRS nearing agreement to use its data to help ICE locate undocumented migrants
diCicco...
The IRS is close to finalizing an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security to help locate migrants suspected of being in the US illegally, a person familiar with the matter said, as President Donald Trump continues his hardline deportation push.

The agreement would require Immigration and Customs Enforcement to submit names and addresses of people it suspects of living in the country illegally to the IRS, which the tax agency would then cross-reference and confirm, the person said.

Tax information has generally been closely held within the IRS, and laws prohibit improper disclosure of taxpayer information.
This ignores, of course, things like when IRS contractor Charles Littlejohn deliberately leaked President Trump’s tax returns for the past two decades or so, along with those of 405,000 others to whose “excessive” incomes he objected.
The IRS has encouraged undocumented migrants to file taxes, a process that includes providing the agency with their addresses, employers and earnings.

CNN reported earlier this year that DHS had circulated a draft memo to the IRS that represented a sweeping request for information about suspected undocumented immigrants, including the home addresses of several hundred thousand individuals who paid federal taxes based on their individual taxpayer identification numbers, according to a source with direct knowledge of the document.

Privacy experts say that would be a violation of the strict disclosure laws that the IRS operates under which prohibit the release of tax information by an IRS employee.

The draft the person described Sunday appears to be a narrower version of the earlier draft. Under the current iteration, the IRS would confirm migrants’ addresses rather than provide the information to ICE.

Still, it would amount to a major shift by the agency. Requests would need to be submitted by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem or acting ICE director Todd Lyons, and must include the name and address of the taxpayer, and the date of their removal order, which would allow the IRS to confirm the information.

Two immigrant rights groups in Chicago sued the Treasury Department and IRS earlier this month and asked a judge to block the agency from sharing taxpayers’ identifying information with ICE or DHS, as Trump pushes for more deportations.

The groups claimed federal law “forbids” the IRS from giving this data to immigration authorities, because ICE and DHS aren’t listed as exceptions to the confidentiality rules in the tax code.

Again, we see the Liberals, Democrats, and the DC Swamp using the Federal Judges that they placed on the bench, to block investigations into their Illegal doings.

How about an annual Juridical review of all Federal Judges?

A review that insures ALL JUDGES are following the actual Legal processes and not supporting Political or Personal LawFare?

Because, IF any Judge is not ruling based on the US Constitution, written LAW and its established legal history. That judge should be quickly removed from the bench.

Plus, they should face criminal charges and all cases for that period reviewed for proper due process.

India Smashes Soros Foundation Network
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text supplied by rtechnocom

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin is in italics.

[ColonelCassad] India has begun to smash George Soros's funds while the Democrats are out of power in the US.

Financial intelligence with searches in the office of the Soros Foundation in Bangalore. Officially, they are investigating financial fraud. In fact, they are closing the shop of the “open society”, which financed local NGOs in violation of the law. The Indian Foreign Ministry is already demanding a report from the United States on all USAID projects for 10 years. Washington suddenly “cannot disclose the details” because it “threatens the national interests of the United States”.

The searches quickly showed how Soros’s bug-infested people actively penetrated the media and NPO system in India, representing one of the networks of informal influence of the globalists.

The defeat of USAID opens up the opportunity for many countries to immediately put an end to all structures that received money from USAID and Soros. But this requires political will. The Indians have it.

Houthis Claim Rocket Attack on Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport
Shooting off the rocket is their job. It actually hitting where they hoped is Allah’s, should that be his will. Once again it was not. In fact, I think this is the particular missile that only got as far as Saudi Arabia — fortunately the Magic Kingdom has been at war with them since 2015, as I recall, so they can’t become more angry about it.

US military plane collides with several UFOs in the skies over Florida
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] In the airspace over Florida, a military aircraft of the United States of America collided with a swarm of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) that surrounded it. This was reported on March 23 by the portal Ufosightingsdaily.com.
It sounds to me like a drone swarm, but I’m not at all qualified to judge.
Shortly after the incident, an audio recording of a conversation between the pilot and an Eastern Air Defense Sector (EADS) controller appeared on the Internet, who recorded this unusual situation.

The pilot reported seeing several brightly glowing balls, which caused significant interference in the communications system. According to the recording of the conversation, a strange glow also appeared around the plane. A Lockheed AC-130 Spectre aircraft, which, according to the portal, specializes in tracking such events, was sent to the scene to assess the situation.

The US military has not yet given any official comments on the incident. However, the aircraft that collided with the UFO successfully returned to its military base without any damage.

Earlier, on March 17, the airport in the Turkish city of Gaziantep temporarily stopped taking off and accepting planes in the evening due to a glowing UFO. It is noted that radars were unable to determine what kind of object it was, but experts believe that it could have been a drone. After some time, the air harbor resumed operations.

In 2018, a video appeared online showing a US Air Force aircraft observing an unidentified flying object. The declassified recording was made back in 2015 off the US East Coast at an altitude of 7.5 km. US specialists who studied the data were unable to determine the origin of the flying object.

Bakanov said that manned missions to other planets are impossible without Russia

Manned missions to other planets of the Solar System are impossible without Russian expertise. This was stated by the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Bakanov on March 23.

“As you know, missions to other planets are being planned, where without the competence of the Russian Federation it will be impossible to implement them,” Bakanov said in a comment to VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.
"I mean, who else is gonna sabotage the integrity of the ship's walls and sealed environment? That's our specialty!"
According to him, despite all the sanctions, Roscosmos continues to cooperate with the United States on issues of manned space flights.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on March 13, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev announced that the Russian side would soon discuss the prospects for cooperation in space with the American businessman and multi-billionaire Elon Musk.

In addition, Dmitriev clarified that he had previously discussed with Bakanov the idea of possible cooperation between Russia and the United States in the space sector.

On March 15, Dmitriev proposed to Musk to send a joint Russian-US mission to Mars in 2029. According to the head of the RDIF, if the mission to Mars with the humanoid robot Optimus, scheduled for 2026, goes well, no later than 2029 it will be possible to send spaceships with people there.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on February 9 that Russia and the United States continue to work on space, economic issues, energy markets and other areas. According to the head of state, Moscow and Washington have also resumed cooperation in resolving geopolitical problems.

Temperatures in the Moscow region will drop to minus 11 ℃ on the night of March 24
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The air temperature in the Moscow region on the night of March 24 will drop to minus 11 degrees in some places, in Moscow it will be warmer — up to minus 3–5 degrees. This was reported to TASS on March 23 bythe scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.

According to the meteorologist, such weather conditions are due to the fact that the capital is under the influence of an anticyclone, the center of which is close to the region.

He also noted that there would be intense cooling of the underlying surface at night, and promised Muscovites “a very frosty night.”

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on March 23, leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Mikhail Leus reported a new daily record for atmospheric pressure in Moscow. In the morning, it reached 764.2 mm Hg, which is higher than the 1943 figures.

On March 22, Leus said that up to 20% of the monthly precipitation norm could fall in Moscow in the last week of the month. According to him, no rain or snow is expected on Monday, March 24. At night, the air temperature will drop to -1…-3 °C, and during the day the air will warm up to +11…+13 °C.

Vilfand admits that 2025 will be among the top five warmest years in history

The current year, 2025, may go down in history as one of the warmest in history. This was reported by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand.

"There is a possibility that 2025 will be among the top five warmest years. This is due to the fact that recent years have become increasingly warmer under the influence of increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases. Unfortunately, we have not yet managed to stabilize this process," TASS quotes Vilfand as saying.

In addition, the weather is also affected by increased ocean temperatures, which affects the state of the atmosphere: the heat transferred from the oceans contributes to an increase in air temperature, the meteorologist explained.

At the same time, according to the weather forecaster, the period of winter time in Russia may be shortened. However, winter in Russia will definitely be "until the end of this century," Vilfand assured.

Venezuela to resume accepting US deportation flights
[FoxNews] Deportation flights to Venezuela to resume Sunday

Venezuela will resume accepting deportation flights from the US after Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro suspended the flights earlier this month.

Jorge Rodríguez, the president of Venezuela's Assembly and chief negotiator with the U.S. announced the change in policy on Saturday.

"We have agreed with the U.S. government to resume the repatriation of Venezuelan migrants with an initial flight tomorrow, Sunday," Rodriguez said.

He added that the deal with the U.S. secured the "return of our compatriots to their nation with the safeguard of their Human Rights."

Rodriguez referenced the deportation of some Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador in his statement. President Donald Trump's administration has sent some Venezuelan members of the Tren de Aragua gang to the country.

"Migrating is not a crime
...sometimes. Other times it is…
and we will not rest until we achieve the return of all those who require it and until we rescue our brothers kidnapped in El Salvador," Rodríguez said in a statement.

Maduro himself referred to the Venezuelans held in El Salvador as "kidnapped" on Saturday.

In recent weeks, some 350 people were deported to Venezuela, including some 180 who spent up to 16 days at the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The Trump administration said that the Venezuelans sent to Guantanamo are members of Tren de Aragua.

Venezuela had long been a friendly oil-trading partner of the U.S. until Maduro's leftist regime took root following the 1998 and 2000 elections under the rule of the late Hugo Chavez and foreign policy challenges arose.

Government Corruption
Pentagon announces investigation into leaks, which could include polygraph tests
[FoxNews] The Pentagon said its intelligence and law enforcement arms are probing 'recent unauthorized disclosures' of national security information

The Pentagon said it would investigate what it claims are leaks of national security information, saying that the probes could include polygraph tests for employees in the Defense Department.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s chief of staff, Joe Kasper, sent a memo Friday saying that the Pentagon's intelligence and law enforcement arms are probing "recent unauthorized disclosures" of national security information, without offering details about alleged leaks.

"Recent unauthorized disclosures of national security information involving sensitive communications with principals within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) demand immediate and thorough investigation," Kasper wrote.

"If this effort results in information identifying a party responsible for an unauthorized disclosure," then the information "will be referred to the appropriate criminal entity for criminal prosecution," he added.

Kasper's memo said the polygraphs would be used "in accordance with applicable law and policy."

President Donald Trump rejected a report from The New York Times that his senior adviser, Elon Musk, would be briefed on how the U.S. would handle a potential war with China. Musk responded by suggesting that people leaking "maliciously false information" to the media will be identified and prosecuted.

"The New York Times is pure propaganda," Musk said Friday on X. "Also, I look forward to the prosecutions of those at the Pentagon who are leaking maliciously false information to NYT. They will be found."

Investigations into the alleged leaks at the Pentagon come after Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed a move to step up lie-detector tests on employees in an attempt to identify people who may be leaking information to the media about immigration enforcement operations.

The Justice Department also announced an investigation on Friday into what it purported to be "the selective leak of inaccurate, but nevertheless classified, information" from intelligence agencies about a Venezuelan gang called Tren de Aragua, alleged members of which are being targeted by the Trump administration for removal from the U.S.

Leaks from within the federal government happen in every administration across various agencies.

While polygraph exams are typically not admissible in court proceedings because of concerns about their unreliability, they are often used by federal law enforcement agencies and for national security clearances.

The Supreme Court also ruled in 1998 that polygraph tests were inadmissible in military justice proceedings.

United Nations faces unprecedented liquidity crisis following DOGE USAID cuts
[FOXNEWS] President Donald Trump's administration's use of Elon Musk's DOGE to cut USAID spending is having a deep impact on the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), according to internal U.N. emails shared with Fox News Digital.

In an email sent early Friday morning, president of the U.N. Field Staff Union, Milan Victor Dawoh wrote that the USAID funding cut resulted in "approximately $30 million" having been "removed from the extra-budgetary (XB) resources, resulting in a significant reduction in staffing."

Dawoh's email warns that the U.N. "is currently experiencing its worst liquidity crisis since its establishment. The situation is expected to deteriorate further before any improvement occurs."

Dawoh said that UNDSS will lose 100 employees and that its presence will be eliminated in 35 to 45 countries, while noting that "regional hubs" will be established "in the remaining 120 countries where UNDSS will maintain a presence."
The poor darlings.

Britain
UK orders investigation after Heathrow airport shutdown
[FoxNews] Britain's energy ministry, airport order probes into handling of Friday's power outage

Britain's government and London's Heathrow Airport have ordered looks into the handling of a power outage that shuttered Europe's busiest air hub for almost a day as airlines warned of further delays and cancelations.

Britain's energy ministry said on Saturday it had commissioned the National Energy System Operator to carry out an urgent investigation into the outage that raised questions about the resilience of the country's critical infrastructure, Reuters reported.

Police said that after an initial assessment they were not treating the incident as suspicious, although the investigation remains ongoing.
Heathrow said it had tasked an independent board member, former transport minister Ruth Kelly, with undertaking a review of the airport's crisis-management plan and its response to the incident with the aim of boosting resilience.

The airport said on X Sunday that it is "operating a full schedule again today, with over 1,300 flights planned," but airlines are scrambling to make up for lost time.

British Airways, whose main hub is Heathrow, promised a "near-full" schedule for Sunday after chief executive Sean Doyle on Friday warned the "huge impact" would last days.

Major airlines are waiving fare changes for travelers affected by Friday's outage at London Heathrow Airport.

The airport is the world's fifth busiest, according to Reuters. It was scheduled to handle 1,351 flights on Friday involving 291,000 passengers. However, the fire at a nearby electrical substation forced planes to be diverted to other airports and many long-haul flights returned to where they had departed from.

Police said that after an initial assessment they were not treating the incident as suspicious, although the investigation remains ongoing.

London Fire Brigade said its investigations would focus on the electrical distribution equipment. Approximately 70 firefighters and 10 engines responded to the fire just before midnight on Thursday at the electrical substation on Nestles Avenue in Hayes.

#3  Just goes to show how bad UK is, they don't have emergency backup diesel generators.

They had diesel backup not long ago. But as part of the Net Zero scam, they replaced the diesel with biomass (AKA wood chips).

A diesel motor can drive a generator directly, making it essentially "instant on". A handy property for a backup system. With biomass, you need to build a fire and boil enough water to run a turbine. Takes a bit of time. Meanwhile, the radar is out and the controllers are tapping their dead screens and looking for the fuse box. Happy landing!

Russian military secretly entered the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk direction
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Russian fighters secretly entered the rear of the Ukrainian military in the Donetsk direction and took prisoners. This was reported on March 23 by the RT TV channel, citing attack aircraft of the "South" group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces.

It is noted that six soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were killed during the operation. Another four surrendered, but one of them was eliminated by his own people: he came under Ukrainian mortar fire.

"Four of us came out - that's it, we started to lead them out of the forest plantation, out of their dugout. And their mortar started to fire at us, the cassettes started to fire. One of them died. And three of them - we led them out, brought them to the dugout," said one of the Russian soldiers.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, on March 10, the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov, published his conversation with the fighters before the start of Operation Potok, who crawled several kilometers along a gas pipeline to the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sudzhansky District of the Kursk Region, on his Telegram channel. According to him, the unique operation will be included not only in training manuals for special services, but also in Russian history textbooks.

Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Army General Valery Gerasimov, said on March 12 that Operation Potok (Pipe) came as a complete surprise to the Ukrainian army. During it, over 600 Russian soldiers traveled about 15 km through a pipe and reached deep behind enemy lines.

On March 13, the Akhmat special forces soldiers who took part in Operation Potok told the editor-in-chief of the Regnum news agency, Marina Akhmedova, that some of the soldiers began to hallucinate in the pipe. At the same time, the Russian soldiers supported each other, and it was morally easier for them to go.

On March 17, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that the head of state, Vladimir Putin, had spoken with the participants of Operation Potok. They will be awarded after the relevant presentations by the Russian Defense Ministry, the Kremlin representative added.

New Mexico shooting suspects arrested, charged with murder
Gangs? Illegals? Both?
[FOXNEWS] A third suspect was arrested Sunday morning stemming from Friday night's mass shooting at a park in New Mexico.

An unnamed 17-year-old boy is now in custody following the arrests of two others on Saturday. The trio is accused of committing a mass shooting at Young Park in Las Cruces that left three dead and 15 injured.

Each suspect has been charged with three counts of murder.

Tomas Rivas, 20, and a different 17-year-old boy were arrested on Saturday evening, Las Cruces Police said on Facebook. The victims who died in Friday evening's shooting at Young Park have been identified as 16-year-old Andrew Madrid, 18-year-old Jason Gomez and 19-year-old Dominick Estrada.

Police say Madrid and Gomez died on the scene, while Estrada died after being taken to a hospital.

Fifteen victims, whose ages range between 16 and 36, were injured. Nine are male and six are female, police said, adding that they will not release their names to "protect their privacy." Medical conditions of the surviving victims have not been released.

"This tragedy reminds us that it's going to take all of us to continue to come together to address these senseless acts of violence," Democratic House Speaker Javier Martinez of Albuquerque said Saturday at the conclusion of an annual legislative session, The Associated Press reported.

The shooting took place around 10 p.m. during an unsanctioned car show.

"The investigation so far reveals that there was an altercation between two groups of people and that altercation escalated to gunfire between both groups," Las Cruces Police Chief Jeremy Story told reporters during a press briefing.

Rivas was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond. The juvenile suspect was taken to the juvenile detention facility. Additional charges are pending against the two, police say.

Government Corruption
Trump forces Social Security head to make embarrassing U-turn after threatening shutdown
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The head of the Social Security Administration has been forced into an embarrassing U-turn after he threatened to shut down the agency.

Interim SSA Commissioner Lee Dudek had threatened to shutter the agency over a judge's ruling that barred Elon Musk's DOGE from accessing their data.

He had said that the order may require him to cut off access to all the agency's employees to the information on Thursday.

On Friday, he reversed course after the White House directly intervened and the judge in the class gave him further clarification on the ruling.

Dudek said: 'Today, the Court issued clarifying guidance about the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) related to DOGE employees and DOGE activities at the Social Security Administration (SSA).

'Therefore, I am not shutting down the agency. President Trump supports keeping Social Security offices open and getting the right check to the right person at the right time. SSA employees and their work will continue under the TRO.'

He told The Washington Post that the White House had called him to 'remind me that I was out of line' on Friday.

Judge Ellen Lipton Hollander with the District of Maryland, who issued the order, also said that Dudek's assertions 'were inaccurate'.

She said in the order on Friday: 'Employees of SSA who are not involved with the DOGE Team or in the work of the DOGE Team are not subject to the Order.'

Hollander had issued a two-week temporary restraining order that blocked 'DOGE team members and DOGE affiliates' from accessing any 'personally identifiable information'.

She added that DOGE had 'essentially engaged in a fishing expedition at SSA, in search of a fraud epidemic, based on little more than suspicion.'

The judge added that DOGE 'never identified or articulated even a single reason for which the DOGE team needs unlimited access to SSA's entire record systems'.

If Dudek had moved ahead with effectively closing the agency, millions of Americans would have had their benefit payments halted.

Lee Saunders, president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, said in a statement: 'For almost 90 years, Social Security has never missed a paycheck — but 60 days into this administration, Social Security is now on the brink.

'Acting Commissioner Leland Dudek has proven again that he is in way over his head, compromising the privacy of millions of Americans, shutting down services that senior citizens rely on and planning debilitating layoffs, all in service to Elon Musk’s lies.'

Musk has said that Social Security databases had millions of impossibly aged Americans still on file.

His DOGE team say they discovered millions of people above the age of 120, and even some over 200.

Musk jokingly called the efforts to delete these records a clearing of the 'dead people database.'

The DOGE X account posted this week that the team has over the last two weeks marked as deceased 3.2 million people who were listed over the age of 120.

There are still millions, however, listed as living in that age bracket that the team is working to delete.

The 150-159 age range within the database on March 8 had 1,357,967 people marked as living.

By March 17, the count in that category decreased by 186,415 to a total of 1,171,552.

In that two week time span in March, DOGE was able to mark 3,261,057 people as dead who were previously in the Social Security system records as part of the 'living count' between the ages of 120 and 159.

'More work still to be done,' the cost-cutting group noted.

While the millions of clearly dead people are still in the system as eligible for benefits, that doesn't necessarily mean that money is being distributed to those individuals.

Since President Donald Trump was inaugurated in January, his newly created DOGE has cut billions in government contracts to private industry, thousands of federal jobs and even obliterated whole agencies – like USAID.

Economy
Treasury Secretary reveals GDP numbers that ruled Biden's presidency ‘inaccurate’
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Treasury Secretary has candidly admitted that the GDP numbers that dominated the previous administration's economic approach are not accurate.

Scott Bessent said the Trump administration is focused on what the American public are actually feeling about the money in their pockets than Joe Biden's team.

The former hedge fund boss argued that Biden made a 'mistake' by dismissing the hardships that consumers were actually feeling at grocery stores and gas stations.

When asked point-blank whether he believed that GDP numbers and nonfarm payrolls were accurate on the All-In podcast last week, Bessent replied: 'No. They're subject to big revisions over time.

'I thought one of the big mistakes of the Biden administration was that they went with the numbers and not what the American people were feeling.'

The Treasury Secretary said the economic concerns of the public were dismissed as merely a 'vibe-cession' and that Biden told them, 'you don't know how good you've got it.'

Instead, Bessent said the Trump administration was going to 'have respect for how [the public] feel and then we need to go back and look at what is causing this anxiety.'

In the 2024 election, Americans' highest-rated concern impacting their vote was the U.S. economy and their own personal financial hardships. Gas prices were at an all-time high and grocery bills increased by hundreds of dollars per month.

Since entering office, Trump has touted his team's efforts to bring down the cost of gas and eggs, which surged to never-before-seen prices.

But Americans still don't feel like they are in a better off financial situation and the country is spiraling towards a recession with the markets plummeting in recent weeks in the midst of a tariff war sparked between Trump and multiple U.S. trade partners.

Bessent said in his podcast interview that he's making sure the administration is listening to Americans, and not just what they see on paper.

'I was on Meet the Press yesterday,' he recalled, 'and there was something that said – 'Well, the American people don't believe Donald Trump's doing enough on the economy.' And I told the host, I said, 'You know, the one thing I'm not going to answer is that they don't know what they're talking about.'

'I have to have respect for how they feel, and then we need to go back and look at what is causing this anxiety,' Bessent said, and vowed: 'So that's what that's what we're going to do.'

Podcast co-host Palihapitiya praised Trump's team for having a 'better beat on the fact that this data is not as reliable as other administrations would say they were in order to do whatever it is they wanted to do anyway.'

Bessent agreed with the interviewer, saying that the Trump White House would not use data to justify their actions and instead listen to Americans when they express anxiety or financial hurt.

GDP and non-farm payroll are often two indicators used to assess how the economy is doing. The latter references the change in number of paid workers in all businesses and industries besides farming.

In February, the total U.S. nonfarm payroll rose by 151,000, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. It represents a slight increase from January where they nonfarm payroll rose by 143,000, but is a 1.24 percent improvement from last year's stats.

Additionally, the unemployment rate improved only 0.3 percent with 4.1 percent Americans without a job.

Meanwhile, the GDP figure represents the total monetary value of all goods and services provided within a country's borders over a specific period of time – usually a year.

This is the most commonly-used indicator of a country's economic health.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the U.s. GDP increased by 2.3 percent, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

'The increase in real GDP in the fourth quarter primarily reflected increases in consumer spending and government spending that were partly offset by a decrease in investment,' the government analysis notes. 'Imports, which are a subtraction in the calculation of GDP, decreased.'

An increase in GDP is generally an indication of a thriving and growing economy.

But Bessent notes how Americans claim they aren't feeling that positive impact hit their pocket books.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta has tried to adjust to this and is providing a model with a rolling-update on the GDP that it claims will reflect the real-time changes month-to-month instead of yearly or by quarter.

'Our GDPNow forecasting model provides a 'nowcast' of the official estimate prior to its release by estimating GDP growth using a methodology similar to the one used by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis,' the website notes.

Ever since this feature has been introduced, the GDP has tanked.

But many are skeptical of the so-called 'nowcast' and economists say it is not an accurate representations of the true GDP.

Americans are increasingly spooked as markets and investments continue to tank amid Trump's trade war with multiple partners in Europe as well as Canada and China.

This month, Trump imposed a 25 percent tariff on Canada and Mexico and said it was a response to the countries' refusal to act more aggressively on stopping the fentanyl crisis.

He also claimed that the North American countries take advantage of the U.S. while providing little benefit in return.

Canada has threatened and imposed retaliatory tariffs and the Chinese embassy says it is prepared for a trade war – or war of any kind – with the U.S.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Gaza death toll tops 50,000 as Israel kills 41 more Palestinians in last 24 hours, Israel says 20,000 through January
[X] Prove it, O Hamas spokesman.

Army says dozens of terror operatives killed in Gaza over last few days
[IsraelTimes] The military says dozens of terror operatives have been killed during operations in the Gaza Strip in recent days.

In a statement, the IDF says that troops of the 252nd Reserve Division and Gaza Division have been operating in several areas of Gaza to expand Israel’s buffer zone along the border with the Strip.

Amid the operations, troops have killed dozens of operatives and destroyed terror infrastructure, including rocket launchers, the military says.

The IDF says Israeli Air Force fighter jets, drones and helicopters, as well as Navy vessels, carried out strikes on numerous targets in Gaza, including as support for the ground forces.

Hamas has said that nearly 700 people have been killed by Israel since the military resumed its military activity in Gaza last week. The figure has not been verified and does not differentiate between civilians and combatants.
More numbers from the Times of Israel:
Israel said it had killed some 20,000 combatants in battle as of January and another 1,600 terrorists inside Israel on October 7. Israel has said it seeks to minimize civilian fatalities and stresses that Hamas uses Gaza’s civilians as human shields, fighting from civilian areas including homes, hospitals, schools, and mosques.

Fighting in Gaza resumed last week with a shock Israeli aerial offensive following a two-month ceasefire.
