A look at Israel’s postwar Gaza options as Hamas attempts to regroup
[IsraelTimes] Israel needs to make hard choices as to who will run the Strip after the war, with few good options to be found.

Diminished but not deterred, Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
is still putting up a fight after seven brutal months of war with Israel, regrouping in some of the hardest-hit areas in northern Gazoo

#3  Fatah rule over Gaza would be a very bad for the Gaza population. It would probably result in a low to sometimes hot conflict between pro Hamas forces and pro Fatah forces, a significant amount of graft, a very slow reconstruction, continued reliance by Gaza on electricity and water from Israel, food from donors and money from the petro States.

That's unfortunate for the Gazans but if they want better governance, they'll have to work it out themselves.

Britain
4 hurt, 1 arrested after Iranian regime supporters clash with opponents in London
[IsraelTimes] Police investigating if additional offenses committed after skirmishes outside event commemorating Raisi

British police say four people were hurt and one was arrested when supporters of Iran’s authorities clashed with anti-government protesters at a London event marking the death of President Ebrahim Raisi.

The Metropolitan Police force said officers were called Friday evening to "reports of disorder" at a venue in the west London area of Wembley, where an event was being held to mark Raisi’s death in a helicopter crash. Protesters had gathered outside the venue and festivities broke out, police said.

The force said one person was arrested on suspicion of violent mostly peaceful disorder. Four people were treated by paramedics for injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Police ordered those gathered to disperse and said Saturday that detectives would examine social media footage and other evidence to see whether more offenses had been committed.

Footage from the scene posted on X shows an argument breaking out between pro-regime men and regime opponents, and one of the men from the pro-regime group is seen yelling curses at the dissidents. Then, a group of men is seen running at and pushing away men holding the flag of the Pahlavi dynasty, which ruled Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
prior to the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Afterward, a skirmish ensues, and the man who had cursed in the beginning of the footage is seen kicking the woman filming after she had fallen to the ground.

Raisi, a pillar of Iran’s hard-line Islamic regime, died alongside the country’s foreign minister and six others in a crash in the country’s mountainous northwest on Sunday. He was interred Thursday at Iran’s holiest Shiite shrine.

Some Iranian expatriates have welcomed Raisi’s death. London is home to a large Iranian community, most of whom left in the years since the country’s Islamic revolution in 1979.

IDF presses ahead with Rafah offensive after World Court’s ambiguous halt order
[IsraelTimes] Officials say ruling allows Israel to continue operations in Gaza’s southernmost city; soldier seriously hurt in northern Strip as IDF battles Hamas across the enclave

Israeli troops on Saturday engaged in festivities with Paleostinian button men across the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. Strip, including Rafah, a day after the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to halt operations in the enclave’s southernmost city that would risk destroying the civilian population.

A statement from the Israel Defense Forces said that a cell in Rafah that shot up troops was killed, and several tunnel shafts were found and destroyed, alongside caches of weapons.

The fighting came after Paleostinian media on Friday evening reported a large Israeli Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
in Rafah’s Shaboura area, one of the neighborhoods located about halfway between the Israeli border and the coast where the IDF began operating against Hamas
..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
earlier in the week.

The IDF operation in Rafah, which it asserts is Hamas’s last major stronghold, has fueled further international criticism of Israel over the war in Gaza, with the ICJ issuing a significant but somewhat ambiguous ruling instructing Israel to stop military activities that could result in the destruction of the civilian population sheltering there.

Israeli officials said they consider the ICJ order to allow room for some operations in Rafah, rejecting interpretations that the court ruling required Israel halt the offensive altogether.

"What they are asking us, is not to commit genocide in Rafah. We did not commit genocide and we will not commit genocide," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s national security adviser, Tzachi Hanegbi, told Channel 12 news.

Asked whether the Rafah offensive would continue, Hanegbi said: "According to international law, we have the right to defend ourselves and the evidence is that the court is not preventing us from continuing to defend ourselves."

The ICJ, which is based in The Hague, did not immediately comment on Hanegbi’s remarks. Hamas also did not immediately comment.

Another Israeli official pointed to the phrasing of the ruling by the ICJ, depicting it as conditional.

"The order in regard to the Rafah operation is not a general order," the official said on condition of anonymity.

FIGHTING IN NORTHERN AND CENTRAL GAZA
Also Saturday, a reservist with the Bislamach Brigade’s 6828th Battalion was seriously maimed during fighting against terror operatives in northern Gaza.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The announcement came after the military said troops operating in northern Gaza’s Jabaliya killed dozens of button men in close-quarters combat and by calling in airstrikes over the past day.

The troops also located and demolished rocket launching sites and buildings used by terror groups, alongside caches of weapons, the IDF said.

Among those killed were operatives who had directed attacks on troops, and a Hamas sniper cell that had shot up soldiers several times in recent days, according to the military.

Meanwhile,
...back at the shattered spaceship, Fffflirgoll the Arcturan slithered stealthily toward the control room, where the humans had barricaded themselves...
in central Gaza, several more operatives were killed in festivities with troops and by tank shelling, the IDF said.

On Friday in central Gaza, the IDF said an airstrike killed the deputy commander of Hamas’s national security force. According to the IDF, Diaa al-Din al-Sharafa was responsible for "managing the mechanism that secures the borders of the Gaza Strip."

"During the war, this mechanism prevented the population from evacuating from combat zones," the IDF said

Israel has vowed to eliminate Hamas following the October 7 terror onslaught that started the war, including its civil authority and members of its political wing.

FURTHER DETAILS ON ’COMPLEX’ IDF OP TO RECOVER HOSTAGES’ BODIES
The military on Saturday released footage and additional details from the operation to recover the bodies of three slain hostages from the northern Gaza Strip late Thursday.

The bodies of Orión Hernández Radoux, 30, Hanan Yablonka, 42, and Michel Nisenbaum, 59, who were all killed on October 7, were located in a tunnel in Jabaliya, the same area where the bodies of another four hostages were recovered a week earlier.

The IDF said troops of the 75th Armored Battalion killed a terror operative who was apparently a lookout over the area where the bodies were held. The soldiers then raided and captured the site.

A short while later, troops of the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit, Shin Bet agents, and special forces of the Military Intelligence Directorate entered the tunnel and located the bodies.

The bodies were extracted from the tunnel in a "complex" overnight operation, the military said.

According to the IDF, the location of the bodies was extracted from intelligence obtained in recent days by the military and Shin Bet.

The intelligence also revealed that the three were kidnapped by Hamas forces of Evil from the Mefalsim area in southern Israel on October 7, and were killed there or a short while later en route to Gaza.

Is there a single public building in all Gaza that has not been taken over by Hamas and its little friends for C&C or a fighting outpost or an entrance to the tunnel system below? At any rate, I’d bet big money that this particular school is not the sole exception.
The Israeli attack targeted a school sheltering displaced people in the neighbourhood, located just south of Jabalia, according to Al Jazeera.

Northern Gaza’s Jabalia camp has been under fierce attack today, pushing more people to flee the area.

offensive, Salwa al-Masri has little hope her plight will be alleviated by a ruling from the UN's top court ordering Israel to halt its offensive in Rafah.

"The massacres are only increasing," she said, as she cooked a meal on an open fire outside a tent in Deir al-Balah.

"They shouldn’t say one thing, while the action is something different," said Masri, who fled her home in northern Gaza earlier in the war. "We want these decisions to be implemented on the ground."

#1  Salwa al-Masri means Salwa the Egyptian. Like most Gazans, she is a descendant of Egyptians who came to Mandate Palestine in 1920es (cf. From Time Immemorial). One of the reasons to a break between Gazan "Palestinians" and West bank "Palestinians" is that the later are descendants of Syrians who came to Mandate Palestine & Jordan in 1920es. They don't even speak mutually comprehensible dialects of Arabic.

'Revolution has begun': IDF soldier who called for rebellion's social media past revealed
[Jpost] The individual, whose name has been censored by Israeli media, is being investigated for calling for mutiny against Israeli defense officials, and has made other controversial statements online.

Ynet has uncovered social media posts made by the masked and armed IDF soldier who called for a rebellion against top defense officials on Sunday.

In the original video where the soldier called for mutiny, the man called out IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. The video has since circulated on social media and instigated public response. The soldier's identity has yet to be released to the public.

The suspect has been located by the IDF and is being interrogated by the IDF Military Police Criminal Investigation Division.

Ynet found that the individual has a history of making inflammatory posts about Gallant and about demonstrators during the 2023 judicial reform protests.

In one Facebook post, the individual posted a picture of Gallant with the caption, "You are not my Defense Minister. Go, and fast. Traitor." This post was made following Gallant's statements that he seeks to prevent continued Israeli military rule over the Gaza Strip.

MASKED SOLDIER SHARED POSTS CRITICIZING PROTESTERS DURING JUDICIAL REFORMS
Last July, during the demonstrations against the proposed judicial reforms by the current government, the individual shared a post reading, "I call on all of you to get off your sofas and televisions and come to Kaplan on Monday, July 17, with one goal: So that the Left will know our strength and the citizens who have endured over six months of demonstrations. The time has arrived for the protests to end at any cost; the revolution has begun."

The individual has also made other posts pertaining to violence against protesters on the Ayalon freeway in Tel Aviv, saying, "When will people wake up and realize that they must be slapped a few times and tied to the side of the road."

The original video gained traction after Yair Netanyahu, the son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, shared the video on his Telegram.

In response to the video, the Prime Minister's Office on Saturday claimed that the prime minister "Has warned many times about the dangers of insubordination and the permissive attitudes towards it."

"The Prime Minister is consistent in his position; he rejects outright any manifestation of insubordination from any side."

'Wish Me Luck' movie trailer
[YouTube] Wiki - Wish Me Luck is a British television drama about the exploits of British women undercover agents during the Second World War. The series was made by London Weekend Television for the ITV network between 17 January 1988 and 25 February 1990 and created by Lavinia Warner and Jill Hyem, who had previously produced and written the BBC women prisoner of war series Tenko. The series was filmed on location in England and France.

Wish Me Luck is similar to Tenko and the 1970s BBC drama Secret Army, in that it deals with strong female characters coping under extreme conditions in wartime. The organisation for which the series' women agents worked, the Outfit, was based on the real-life Special Operations Executive. Season 1 and 2 were based on the exploits of SOE agent Nancy Wake and much of the dialogue was copied from her autobiography The White Mouse.

The series also addressed social issues and divisions under wartime conditions. A great deal of attention was also paid to creating the social context of the operatives, the drama of their work, against the backdrop of an intensely detailed local "colour" in both wartime Britain and France.

"Wish Me Luck (as You Wave Me Goodbye)" is a song made popular during the Second World War by Gracie Fields.

"Wish me Luck as you wave me goodbye."

Muslim Activists Lead 'Abandon Biden' Movement in 9 Swing States
[Breitbart] A national Muslim activist group called “Abandon Biden” is organizing operations in nine swing states to prevent President Joe Biden from winning reelection in November as punishment for his handling of the Israel and Hamas war, according to a report.

Minneapolis-based newspaper the Star Tribune reported Sunday of the group’s efforts to keep Biden from a second term, even if it results in a Trump presidency:

Abdel Salam, 48, is among a group of Muslim activists, including several Minnesotans, who are organizing in nine swing states in opposition to Biden’s re-election. The group’s leaders say they want to politically punish the president for what they describe as enabling mass civilian casualties in Gaza.

Salam, a University of Minnesota human rights professor, ditched the campus in April to help head up the movement.

The group prioritizes punishing Biden over preventing a second Trump presidency, the report indicates. Moreover, Salam told the Tribune a Biden loss over his Israel-Hamas policies would move the needle substantially in making the pro-Palestinian stance the mainstream view of the Democrat Party:

He said he and other Abandon Biden leaders are evaluating third-party candidates and plan to make an endorsement this summer. And if Trump wins because of their work, “the big gift that would come out of punishing the president is that an entire party … becomes a pro-Palestinian party against the occupation and will begin to look for equity much more aggressively than we have in the past,” Abdel Salam said.

The threat to Biden’s reelection bid over frustrations on the left among Muslims, Arab-Americans, young voters, and progressives has been well-documented throughout the election year. More than half a million Democrat primary voters protested Biden’s handling of the war and demanded a ceasefire by casting variations of “uncommitted” votes against him.

The Listen to Michigan campaign, which kicked off the movement, notes the threat to Biden is these voters would stay home in November, barring a major change in his policy. Despite Biden demanding a ceasefire in April from Benjamin Netanyahu and threatening to withhold weapons from Israel, the movement persisted in the Maryland Democrat primary on May 14, and with the November election less than six months away, he is running out of time.

While Maryland is not realistically in play for Republicans, the movement in Michigan and other swing states, where margins between Trump and Biden were tight in 2020, pose extreme danger for Democrats and Biden, especially as polling indicates Trump is already leading in many of these states.

The group’s website, Abandonbiden24.com, notes they are targeting Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Jaylani Hussein, who serves on the national Abandon Biden board with Salam and three others, pointed to Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin as states where the Muslim vote can really influence the state’s electoral outcome.

“Our math right now shows really no pathway for Biden to win,” Hussein contended to the Tribune.

The report follows a recent New York Times/ Siena College poll showing that Trump has made groundbreaking inroads with Muslim and Arab-American voters in swing states. The poll found Trump was winning 57 percent of these voters to Biden’s 25 percent.
And he’s done so despite being openly and strongly pro-Israel. A lesson there, for those willing to learn it.
“Those who say they voted in the 2020 election reported backing Mr. Biden by a similar but opposite margin, 56-35,” Times Chief Political Analyst Nate Cohn reported on May 13. The poll sampled 4,097 registered voters between April 28 and May 9.

[GWP] Navy Commander Confirms DOZENS of Penetration Operations by Foreign Nationals Reported at US Bases Over Last Few Weeks

The US Fleet Forces Commander Admiral Daryl Caudle warned FOX News viewers that there have been an uptick in foreign nationals attempting to penetrate US military bases around the country. These attempted breaches are taking place two to three times a week now.

Journalist Lara Logan reported on attempted breaches at several US bases by Chechens, Jordanians and Chinese.

Admiral Daryl Caudle: “This thing of our military bases getting penetrated by foreign nationals is happening more and more. This is something we see probably two or three times a week, where we’re stopping these folks at the gate.”

He adds that in the Navy alone, the nationals come from various countries and often have passports and papers.

Bill Hemmer: Chechens, Jordanians, some of them just crossed the border. What’s going on?

Admiral Daryl Caudle: Well, this thing of our military bases getting penetrated by foreign nationals is happening more and more. This is something we see probably two or three times a week, where we’re stopping these folks at the gate.

Bill Hemmer: A week?

Admiral Daryl Caudle: A week, at least. And this is just Navy alone, where we’re seeing folks try to come in. And usually the cover story is, I’m a student. I’m here. I’m an enthusiast. I want to see the ships, that type of thing. We have to turn them around. And typically, we get NCIS involved in those, and we get biometrics when possible. But yes, there’s been an uptick in that.

Bill Hemmer: Do they have passports?

Admiral Daryl Caudle: A lot of times, they have passports. They have papers, yes. But they’re in no way, shape, or form, authorized to be on our base. It’s really hard for us to tell the underlying motive for these type of cases.

Bill Hemmer: Wow. That’s – that’s stunning… It’s gotta be a concern.

Admiral Daryl Caudle: It is… This is Russian, a Chinese. It comes from all these different nations. We’re seeing an uptick in it.

Bill Hemmer: In addition to that, there’s been some reporting on this over the last six months. You’re getting two or three drones flying over military bases in America per week.

Admiral Daryl Caudle: There is no question

Bill Hemmer: How do you overcome that?

Admiral Daryl Caudle: Well, we are improving our capabilities to detect that, to defend against that, to make sure that our folks are trained to actually counter that. I do this under my authorities from US Northern Command as the component commander for that. I have great reporting on it. And generally, in general, we mostly just folks with drones that you buy them commercially from Amazon or whatever the case may be. But it’s hard to differentiate between that and a nation state trying to do espionage.

#6  No worries, it won't be referred to as 'Martial Law.' Some other term will be coined. Setting the US Constitution aside would be an early step. Elections will be postponed indefinitely. Controlling freedom of movement and weapons confiscation will likely follow. Rationing of food and fuel might be followed by restrictions on public assembly. The gov't will urgently need food and fuel for the global conflict effort.

A listing of edible pet foods along with tasty recipes will be provided.

For your safety, electronic tracker beacons will be mandated for all privately owned vehicles. If your vehicle was built prior to the mandate, a beacon can be purchased and installed at your nearest Best Buy or Walmart.

A system of permits and rationing stamps will become necessary. A gov't website will be made available for applications. Your application can be entered at any former Dominion polling site by simply showing your voter foto ID.

A Federal Law Enforcement scheme might well be established along FEMA lines. Senior military personnel or 'commissars' could be assigned to assist over-burdened local Law Enforcement agencies. Speedy trials for undefined charges, by juries of your peers may unfortunately, not be possible.

These measures will be transitory and established for our own good. You will be told what media outlet(s) to turn to for additional information and instructions.

"If you see something, say something" via established contact procedures of course.

Much thought and planning will be necessary to establish such control measures. Your personal safety is of the upmost importance.

Sean of the South - Memorial
[Sean of the South] The 94-year-old woman gets a jumpstart on Decoration Day every year. The cemetery gets busy at her little church in Elmore County. She likes to be early to the party.

She has brown-flecked hands. Tissue-paper skin. She arrives at the cemetery accompanied by her grandson. They get there in the morning, before the heat of the day. When fog still hangs above the earth.

Her grandson helps her out of the car. She uses a four-pronged cane to walk. Her grandson carries a box of decorations.

"What was my grandfather like?" the kid asks.

"He was a good man," she says, placing a black-and-white photo on her late husband’s grave. In the photo, a young man is wearing an Air Force uniform.

He was a pilot. He dropped bombs for a living.

"He never got over it," she said. "It haunted him, killing all those people just by mashing a button."

Southerners do not "press" a button. They "mash" it.

"After the war," she went on, "he used to wake up at night sometimes, crying, and I didn’t know what to do but rub his back."

Memorial Day is what most people call it now. But it’s still called Decoration Day in many areas. Especially in the Appalachian portions of West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, north Georgia, northern and central Alabama, north Mississippi. Also, in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, the Rocky Mountain regions of Colorado Utah, and in parts of California.

It all started after the Civil War. Women and children would decorate the graves of fallen soldiers. By World War I’s end, some 120,000 Americans died in combat. By World War II, nearly 420,000 American soldiers were deceased.

In U.S. towns, from coast to coast, families placed framed photographs on graves. Stuffed animals. Little flags. Keepsakes. Notecards.

"I remember when you couldn’t visit a cemetery without seeing photographs everywhere," says the old woman. "They don’t do pictures very much anymore. Now everyone mostly does flags."

Families also put pebbles on tombstones. A practice which started in Biblical times. Likewise, there are lots of pennies on grave markers. If you place a penny on the plot of a loved one, you’re granted one wish.
I wonder what most people wish for.

And flowers. Today, the flower industry experiences few inventory surges—save for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day—like they do on Memorial Day.

You can see all the flowers if you pull over and visit any graveyard, off any two-lane highway. Roses, tulips, lilacs, daffodils, sunflowers, carnations, marigolds, chrysanthemums, and plastic flowers of every color, shape, size, and denomination.

The old woman has selected carnations. White ones.

"Harry doesn’t care if we decorate his grave," she says. "Besides, he didn’t die in combat, and people in heaven don’t care about flowers. It’s me who cares."

But it’s not just her. More than 41 million Americans served in the military over the last century. More than 600,000 have died in service since World War I. Memorial Day is theirs. Not ours.

Which is why the old woman has one thing to say about their memoriam:

"Don’t say ’Happy Memorial Day’ this weekend. It’s not happy. It ain’t about parades and barbecues. It’s about missing someone so badly you can’t breathe."

Have a meaningful Memorial Day.

Billy Price, Former Cincinnati Bengals First Round Pick, Announces Retirement at 29 Due to "Terrifying" Blood Clot
[LI] Billy Price, the former first-round draft pick for the Cincinnati Bengals, has announced his retirement from the National Football League at the age of 29 due to a severe pulmonary embolism, a condition that nearly cost him his life.

Price, who was drafted by the Bengals in the first round in 2018 as a center, revealed that he underwent emergency pulmonary embolism surgery on April 24 to remove a saddle clot that was entering both of his lungs.

Pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood clot gets lodged in an artery in the lungs, blocking blood flow and causing severe health issues, which can be fatal if not treated promptly.

In an emotional Instagram post, Price shared his gratitude for being alive following the harrowing experience. He expressed his appreciation for the opportunities he had to play in some of the most iconic football venues worldwide and to compete alongside talented teammates.

A 13th Oregon County has Voted to Join the Greater Idaho
[LI] The last time I reported on the "Greater Idaho" movement, 12 counties in Oregon had voted to secede from the deep blue state to join their red neighbor, Idaho.

That was last summer.

Now, as the summer of 2024 begins, lucky 13 has just agreed to secede!

The vote is not legislatively binding, and passage of the measure simply means residents are in favor of informing Oregon and federal representatives that they support negotiations to join Idaho.

Government Corruption
Treason of the Intellectuals and Danger From Within
[ET] The U.S. establishment’s capitulation to the global left led to a complete occupation of U.S. institutions and the ultimate corruption of the free world.

"The enemies from within are more dangerous to me than the enemies from the outside," said Republican Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump, at a rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, on May 11, 2024.

At a Springfield, Illinois, event, some 20 years before the American Civil War, Abraham Lincoln delivered a prophetic message to his fellow citizens: "At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."

The speech is said to be the origin of the popular quote wrongly attributed to Lincoln: "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

While these were not Lincoln’s exact words, most Americans understand that the 16th and 45th presidents of the United States were troubled by the same thing—the potential self-destruction of their nation.

History has demonstrated that internal discord can be as dangerous to a sovereign country as a foreign aggressor.

A HISTORY OF BETRAYAL
In 2013, American author Diana West published "American Betrayal: The Secret Assault on Our Nation’s Character." Her book initiated an important debate about the modern history of the American Republic.

Ms. West contended that Nov. 16, 1933, was the beginning of a long assault on the security of U.S. democracy. This was the date when Democrat President Franklin Delano Roosevelt decided to normalize relations with the murderous communist regime known as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. FDR’s fateful decision opened America’s doors to an unprecedented invasion of Marxist militants, communist spies, and domestic fellow-travelers.

Exposing The Klingon Secret Effort To Seize Control Of Social Media
[ZERO] While the CIA is strictly prohibited from spying on or running clandestine operations against American citizens on US soil, a bombshell new "Twitter Files" report reveals that a member of the Board of Trustees of InQtel - the CIA's mission-driving venture capital firm, along with "former" intelligence community (IC) and CIA analysts, were involved in a massive effort in 2021-2022 to take over Twitter's content management system, as Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi and Alex Gutentag report over at Shellenberger's Public (subscribers can check out the extensive 6,800 word report here).

According to "thousands of pages of Twitter Files and documents," these efforts were part of a broader strategy to manage how information is disseminated and consumed on social media under the guise of combating 'misinformation' and foreign propaganda efforts - as this complex of government-linked individuals and organizations has gone to great lengths to suggest that narrative control is a national security issue.

According to the report, the effort also involved;

International-UN-NGOs
'When genocidal terrorists praise ruling, justice was not served'
[IsraelNationalNews] Professor Anne Bayefsky, the Director of the Touro Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust and President of Human Rights Voices, spoke to Arutz Sheva - Israel National News about the International Court of Justice's order that Israel must "must immediately halt its military offensive, and any other action in the Rafah Governorate" which could cause "the physical destruction" of the Palestinian Arabs.

Professor Baysfky stated, "The UN's highest legal body is a political tool of global antisemitism. The presiding judge in this case was ICJ President Nawaf Salam. He is from Lebanon, a country that does not recognize Israel’s right to exist. His name was on the ballot for Lebanese Prime Minister in the two most recent elections. He was his country’s UN ambassador for 10 years up until 2017, serving as President of the Security Council and Vice President of the General Assembly during that time. His social media activities include memes telling Israel 'unhappy birthday to you.' In short, he is a rabid anti-Israel politician that the UN has dressed up as a judge."

"As Salam read out his kangaroo court's decision to the world, what sources did he cite as providing the opinion's factual foundation? The United Nations, of course," she said.

Bayefsky noted, "As Israeli Judge ad-hoc Aharon Barak pointed out in his dissent, the majority took uncorroborated UN sources at face value, in itself an affront to legal standards. Not only are UN actors political entities, or selected and governed by political bodies, some of them actually participated in October 7. Their pathological anti-Israel bias is patently obvious, starting with the refusal of the UN Security Council, the UN General Assembly and the UN Human Rights Council to condemn Hamas terrorists and their October 7 atrocities - ever."

"But perhaps the standing of this 'legal' farce is best demonstrated by the reaction of Hamas to the decision. Hamas said: 'We welcome the decision by the World Court' before referring to the Jewish state as the "Zionist enemy" they intend to annihilate. When the fans of a decision that purports to be anti-genocide, are those who are openly committed to genocide, it's a clue that justice has not been served," she said.

"This is the real cycle of violence. Palestinian terrorists murder and rape Jews. They then look to the United Nations for justification, excuses, and cover. The UN - and its World Court - delivers. And Palestinian terrorists promise more of the same. Instead of the rule of law, we are witnessing a return to the state of nature," Bayefsky concluded.

And not just Israel. Ask yourself why [American] WOT was lost?

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Two Hezbollah fighters said killed in alleged Israeli drone strike in Syria
[IsraelTimes] One person, said to have close ties to Iran, killed by bomb placed in vehicle in Damascus suburb; no comment from IDF

An alleged Israeli dronezap in central Syria killed two fighters from Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
’s Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group on Saturday, Lebanese media and a war monitor said.

The Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV didn’t say if there were casualties, but the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor said two Hezbollah members were killed and several others maimed in the dronezap.

"An Israeli drone fired two missiles at a Hezbollah car and truck near the town of Qusayr in Homs province, as they were on their way to al-Dabaa military airport, killing at least two Hezbollah fighters and wounding others," said the Observatory.

It was the third strike against Hezbollah targets in Syria in about a week.

On Monday, Israeli strikes in the Qusayr area, which is close to the Lebanese border, killed eight pro-Iranian fighters, said the Observatory, a Britannia-based monitor with a network of sources in Syria. At least one Hezbollah fighter was among those killed, a source from Hezbollah told AFP at the time.

Another strike, on May 18, targeted "a Hezbollah commander and his lover companion," the Observatory said. It did not report any casualties.

Separately on Saturday, a bomb attached to a car went kaboom! early Saturday in the western part of the Syrian capital that is home to several diplomatic missions, killing one person and causing material damage, state media reported.

Security incidents, including blasts targeting military and civilian vehicles, occur intermittently in the capital of war-ravaged Syria.

Quoting a police official, SANA said "one person was killed when an bomb went kaboom! in their car in the Mazzeh district."

The neighborhood houses the Iranian consulate, destroyed last month in a strike blamed on Israel. The attack at the time killed seven people including two Iranian generals and a member of Hezbollah, and triggered a direct Iranian military assault on Israel for the first time, sparking fears of a regionwide war.

Several Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s have hit the tightly-secured neighborhood over the past months, mostly targeting Iranian officials.

Rami Abdurrahman, who heads the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said the man killed in the earth-shattering kaboom was a Mazzeh resident who carried a card identifying him as a Syrian army officer. Abdurrahman said the dead man had close ties to the Iranians.

Last month, an bomb went off in a car in Mazzeh, an upscale neighborhood of Damascus, without causing any casualties, SANA reported at the time.

Tehran has been sending advisers to Syria since the country’s conflict, which later turned into civil war, began in March 2011 and has killed half a million people. Iran-backed fighters have helped tip the balance of power in favor of Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Despoiler of Deraa...
’s government.

There was no comment from the IDF on either incident.

Since October 8, Hezbollah-led forces have attacked Israeli communities and military posts along the border on a near-daily basis, with the group saying it is doing so to support Gaza amid the war there.

So far, the skirmishes on the border have resulted in 10 civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of 14 IDF soldiers and reservists.

There have also been several attacks from Syria, without any injuries.

Hezbollah has named 313 members who have been killed by Israel during the ongoing skirmishes, mostly in Lebanon, but some also in Syria. In Lebanon, another 61 operatives from other terror groups, a Lebanese soldier, and dozens of civilians have been killed.

The keffiyeh-clad assailants were seen on video pushing him after he tried to make his way through the entrance of the hall and cover what was going on inside.

Footage captured by Higby himself showed demonstrators chanting "neo-Nazi

" as they slowly cornered him back down to the entrance.

"Stop pushing me down the stairs," he pleaded, as they proceeded to do just that.

Higby backed up to evade them, but they refused to retreat and then shoved him out the door. As he fell onto his back, the demonstrators quickly closed the door, chanting the whole time.

The demonstrators joked about him slipping down the stairs and floated the idea of "push[ing] him to the cops" because he was white.

Despite being attacked the first time around, Higby entered Dodd Hall yet again, this time wearing a keffiyeh in an attempt to blend in.

"I was once again beaten, and pushed to the ground, this time into a desk behind me," he wrote in a post on X. "These people are violent mostly peaceful."

In footage of the incident, one occupier told Higby, "You gotta get out of here, bro."

Russian cop wounded during a shootout in St. Petersburg
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] A police officer was wounded during a shootout on Narodnaya Street in St. Petersburg, Telegram channel “112” reported on May 25.

According to him, an unknown person barricaded himself in the apartment and opened fire on the police from there. Now they are trying to detain him.

As reported by IA Regnum, on May 14 in St. Petersburg, a motorist opened fire near the Pionerskaya metro station. As a result of the incident, a man was injured. The cause of the shooting was a traffic dispute. The attacker fled in a black foreign car with Moscow license plates.

On April 26, in St. Petersburg, an armed man was eliminated after wounding a policeman who arrived at one of the apartments on Anglisky Avenue after calling an ambulance. A woman contacted doctors and reported that her 42-year-old son had taken 100 tablets prescribed for epilepsy. In the presence of doctors, the man began to behave inappropriately. The police arrived and helped the doctors and persuaded him to get dressed. Suddenly he grabbed a pistol from his jacket pocket and shot point-blank at one of the law enforcement officers. The second officer returned fire and the man suffered a non-life-threatening bullet wound.

On April 14 in St. Petersburg, a shot was fired at the delivery point of one of the marketplaces. A man who was reprimanded for having a dog with him opened fire from an aerosol pistol towards an employee at the distribution point. No one was injured as a result of the incident. The shooter turned out to be a previously convicted 42-year-old resident of St. Petersburg. He was detained, taken to the police department, and the weapon was confiscated.

Footage taken after the storming of the shooter’s apartment in St. Petersburg has been published
On May 25, the Russian Guard published a video on its Telegram channel made after the storming of an apartment in St. Petersburg, from which a man opened fire on police officers.

“In St. Petersburg, SOBR officers of the Russian Guard neutralized a citizen who had previously opened fire on law enforcement officers and the street, and then barricaded himself in an apartment on Narodnaya Street,” the report says.

The Russian National Guard clarified that they negotiated with the man for several hours, but this did not yield any results. The special forces soldiers decided to storm the apartment where the man had barricaded himself.

As reported by IA Regnum, the shooting on Narodnaya Street in St. Petersburg became known on the afternoon of May 25. It was reported that a police officer was wounded during the shootout. However, later the Ministry of Internal Affairs denied this information.

During the assault, the man who had barricaded himself in the apartment was eliminated. According to the publication “78.ru”, the man is 59 years old, he was born in Chechnya, and previously served a sentence for murder under aggravating circumstances.

Earlier, a man had a conflict with a salesman in a fishing store. Presumably, the reason was a remark about smoking. The man began to threaten the seller, and then returned to the store with a traumatic pistol and shot the seller in the head. The wounded man was hospitalized. After that, law enforcement officers arrived at the shooter’s house; he refused to go out to them and opened fire from the balcony.

Kavkaz-uzel.eu has more details on the shootings:
A native of Chechnya was killed during an apartment storm in St. Petersburg
During the storming of an apartment in St. Petersburg, security forces killed a native of Chechnya, who opened fire on police officers. The head of the Ministry of Press of Chechnya said that Lechi Alkhanov, who shot at the security forces, was mentally ill.

A man who shot at police officers in St. Petersburg and barricaded himself in an apartment was killed, the Russian National Guard reported today. “Several hours of negotiations did not produce results, after which the special forces of the Russian Guard stormed the apartment. During the arrest, the suspect offered armed resistance. SOBR officers, in accordance with the law, used service weapons and special means,” the Russian Guard for the Northwestern Federal District reported in its Telegram channel.

The name of the shooter was announced by the head of the Ministry of Press of Chechnya, Akhmed Dudayev. “This is 59-year-old Lechi Alkhanov, who, according to preliminary information, has repeatedly undergone treatment in various medical institutions for mentally ill people. A person with mental disabilities, who, among other things, has other serious illnesses,” he said today in his Telegram channel.

He stressed that “there is no talk of terrorism or extremism here.” “Those who persistently focus on his nationality are provocateurs trying to stir up an interethnic conflict in our country,” Dudayev said.

The head of the representative office of the head of Chechnya in the Northwestern Federal District, Alash Ozdamirov, said that Lechi Alkhanov is known to many Chechens of St. Petersburg and that, in addition to mental illnesses, Alkhanov had cancer and a number of others that “tormented him very much.” Alkhanov’s act could be associated with a progressive illness, Ozdamirov suggested in a video that Akhmed Dudayev posted today on his Telegram channel.

The details of what happened before the storming of the apartment were reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. “On May 25, the police received a report of a conflict with shooting, which was allegedly carried out from a traumatic weapon on Narodnaya Street, 27. A squad of police arrived at the scene, but the attacker managed to escape. The operatives established his identity and found out that he lives in the house No. 5 on the same street. The police arrived at the house, but the man, seeing the law enforcement officers, fired shots in their direction and barricaded himself in the apartment,” says a message on the department’s Telegram channel.

In poll, 70% of New Yorkers say anti-Israel campus protests ‘went too far’
[IsraelTimes] Clear majorities of respondents say they back peaceful pro-Palestinian demonstrations and ‘an immediate ceasefire,’ but 61% feel the protests ‘crossed the line into antisemitism’.

, but say recent campus pro-Paleostinian protests have "crossed the line into antisemitism," according to a poll released on Wednesday.
And that’s where your right to free speech ends at the tip of my nose.
The Siena College poll of nearly 1,200 registered voters in New York state, taken last week, also found that majorities of New Yorkers support a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas

war but believe the "protests went too far" and justified police action in shutting them down.

According to the poll, 72% of respondents "support students with passionate views peacefully demonstrating in support of those suffering in Gaza." Sixty-four percent say they "support an immediate ceasefire."

But 70% say "the protests went too far and I support the police being called in to shut them down." And 61% agreed with the statement, "Demonstrators seem to have forgotten that Hamas started this war by killing 1,200 people and taking over 200 hostages. Now it feels like these demonstrations have crossed the line into antisemitism."

Answers from New York City respondents did not differ significantly from the statewide results. The survey had a margin of error of 3.9%.

A different survey released Wednesday by Quinnipiac University found that 55% of Americans said they opposed "the student protests being held on college and university campuses responding to Israel’s actions in Gaza?" while 36% said they supported the protests. That survey did not ask respondents for more detailed responses about the protests.

Among Jewish respondents, 87% said the protests crossed the line into antisemitism, although the survey polled a relatively small sample size of roughly 130 Jews. A majority of Jews oppose a ceasefire, and Jewish respondents were divided on whether to support students peacefully protesting suffering in Gaza.

A majority or plurality of every political, racial and income group surveyed agreed that the protests had featured antisemitism, although liberal, Black and Latino voters, and those with lower incomes, were more split.

Nearly half of respondents, 48%, supported $26 billion in funding for Israel including $9 billion for humanitarian aid in Gaza, while 33% opposed.

Fresh clashes in El Fasher leave over 100 injured and 22 dead
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The corpse count from Friday’s festivities between the Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
ese army, armed movements, and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has risen to 22, with over 110 injured, according to Ibrahim Abdallah Khater, General Director of Health in North Darfur State.

The majority of victims are women, children, and the elderly from El Fasher neighbourhoods and shelter centres. The South Hospital, a key medical facility serving five Darfur states, is overwhelmed with the influx of patients.

Despite operating around the clock with support from Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and the state, the hospital faces a severe shortage of medicines and equipment due to transportation difficulties from Port Sudan. Approximately 80% of medical supplies are provided by international and national organizations.

Khater reported that the state’s health system is under immense strain. The specialized children’s hospital was rendered inoperable after being occupied and looted by the RSF. A temporary replacement in Babiker Nahar Center was also bombed. The teaching hospital is also caught in the crossfire between the army and RSF.

Only four hospitals—South Hospital, Saudi Hospital, Military Hospital, and Police Hospital—and some health centers remain operational in the state.

The United Nations
...an idea whose time has gone...
Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reports that two weeks of festivities in El Fasher have resulted in 85 deaths and approximately 700 injuries. The city, a historical capital of the Darfur region, has been engulfed in escalating violence since May 10, raising international alarm for the safety of residents and displaced persons.

We're Seeing More Attempts by Foreign Nationals to Penetrate Bases, ‘Two or Three Times a Week'
See also here.
[Breitbart] On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” U.S. Fleet Forces Command Commander Admiral Daryl Caudle stated that attempted penetrations of military bases by foreign nationals “is happening more and more. This is something we see probably two or three times a week, where we’re stopping these folks at the gate” in the Navy alone and the nationals come from all different nations and many times have passports and papers.

Caudle said, “This thing of our military bases getting penetrated by foreign nationals is happening more and more. This is something we see probably two or three times a week, where we’re stopping these folks at the gate.”

Co-host Bill Hemmer then cut in to say, “A week?”

Caudle responded, “A week, at least. And this is just Navy alone, where we’re seeing folks trying to come in.”

Caudle added, “A lot of times they have passports, they have papers, yes. But they’re in no way, shape, or form authorized to be on our base, and it’s really hard for us to tell the underlying motive for these type of cases.”

Caudle further stated, “This is Russian, Chinese. This comes from all these different nations. We’re seeing an uptick in it.”

U.S. condemns RSF siege of El Fasher, warns external backers
[SUDANTRIBUNE] U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, strongly condemned the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) for their siege of El Fasher and warned external backers against continued support to the warring parties.

On Friday, the Security Council held a private meeting to discuss Sudan’s complaint against the United Arab Emirates, which is accused of fuelling the conflict in Sudan and providing weapons and logistics to the paramilitary group.

In a statement released after the meeting, Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield condemned the RSF for their siege on El Fasher and their role in the deteriorating humanitarian situation.

“The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continues to tighten its siege on El Fasher – stoking military escalation, cutting off critical lifelines, and inching closer to launching a large-scale massacre not seen since the conflict began,” she stated.

The U.S. ambassador underscored that Washington has already begun to impose sanctions on the group’s leaders responsible for these military operations.

“The RSF must pull back its forces from El Fasher or face further consequences,” she warned.

UK police arrest 16 anti-Israel protesters at ‘violent’ sit-in at Oxford University
[IsraelTimes] Suspects held for aggravated trespassing; Jewish groups on campus report ‘overwhelming surge in antisemitism’ that ‘has only increased in recent weeks’

British police said they arrested 16 people on suspicion of aggravated trespass at the University of Oxford on Thursday after pro-Paleostinian protesters held a sit-in against Israel at the university vice-chancellor’s office.

The Oxford Action for Paleostine group (OA4P) said university authorities called the police after students began their protest at administration offices, as has happened at other campuses in Britannia, the United States and elsewhere during the conflict in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. between Israel and Hamas
..always the voice of sweet reason...
"Officers attended Wellington Square at Oxford University, at around 8 a.m. this morning following reports that protesters had gained access to a private office within one of the buildings," Thames Valley Police said in a statement.

One of the 16 people arrested was also arrested on suspicion of common assault, police said. No arrests were made at separate protests nearby and elsewhere in the city.

"This was not a peaceful sit-in, but a violent mostly peaceful action that included forcibly overpowering the receptionist," the university said in a statement. "It is clear that a faction of students and faculty claiming to represent OA4P have not been interested in dialogue in good faith," it added.

Footage posted on social media by OA4P showed altercations between officers and students sitting in the road blocking a police van which it said was carrying detainees.

"Let them go," the demonstrators chanted.

The protesters had been calling for the university to divest from companies with ties to Israel, which is at war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip after the Paleostinian terrorist group’s devastating October 7 onslaught.

"It is evident the administration would rather arrest, silence, and physically assault its own students than confront its enabling of Israel’s genocide in Gaza," the group said on X.

Police said officers had taken "lawful, proportionate and necessary action in the difficult circumstances they faced."

According to a Jewish student at Oxford, there has been a marked rise in antisemitic incidents since the start of the campus protest, including recent swastika graffiti and stickers with images of paragliders such as those used by Hamas along with the slogan "by any means necessary."

"Since October 7th, we have seen an overwhelming surge in antisemitism on campus, and this has only increased in recent weeks," said a statement from the Oxford Jewish Society and Union of Jewish Students.

"Shamefully, our experiences have been denied and invalidated by... motions accusing us of ’weaponizing antisemitism,'" the statement added, referring to resolutions passed by various student bodies at Oxford. "Accusing minority groups of weaponizing their experiences is a stain on our campus community. Jewish students must not be left alone in the fight against antisemitism."

In a statement on Thursday’s unrest, the Oxford Israel Society said that when the campus protest started it "warned that encampments elsewhere had led to violence and antisemitism."

"The demands of these encampment protesters are illegitimate, and must not be surrendered to. The actions of these encampment protesters are illegal, and must not be permitted. The environment that these encampment protesters create is hostile, and must end immediately," the group said.

The case of ex-commander Ivan Popov involved a general who died during the Special Military Operation
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The first defendant in the case of the theft of metal structures, which involves the former commander of the 58th Army of the Russian Armed Forces, Major General Ivan Popov, was another general who died in the special operation zone. Kommersant writes about this on May 25, citing sources.

Popov is charged with fraud on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to investigators, he was involved in the theft of more than 1,700 tons of metal structures worth more than 130 million rubles, which were intended for the construction of defensive fortifications in the Zaporozhye region.

“Meanwhile, according to Kommersant’s sources, initially the materials featured a completely different general, who also participated in the Northern Military District. However, even before the start of a full-fledged investigation, he died and was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Russia,” the publication says.

The investigation believes that this general transferred part of the money allegedly raised from the sale of rolled metal to Popov’s bank card. Based on Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, we are talking about at least 1 million rubles, but only 500 thousand rubles came to Popov’s card. Allegedly, he borrowed and did not steal this amount, the source notes.

Popov's defense pointed out in court that Popov had nothing valuable at home. The investigation objected that the general lost about 30 million rubles on one of the online bookmaking sites, as evidenced by the data on his phone. Popov allegedly received this money as a result of fraud.

The publication notes that Popov is accused of fraud committed by a group of people using military officials' official position. He did not admit the charge.

As Regnum reported, on May 24, the Second Western District Military Court rejected the appeal to transfer Ivanov from the pre-trial detention center to house arrest. Both the defense and the investigation asked for this. The general will remain in custody. The hearing on the complaint was held behind closed doors.

Earlier that same day, Popov failed to appear in court to consider a motion to change the preventive measure. Later, he was taken to the meeting from the pre-trial detention center and led into the hall, accompanied by one guard.

Ivan Popov’s father, in a conversation with the agency, stated that his son was not guilty of anything. Popov Sr. is convinced that ill-wishers deliberately “digged” for the general. He called the current situation a “set-up.”

Popov's colleagues also do not believe the version of the security forces. The soldiers are convinced that the general could not steal from his own people. According to them, he “jumped into the trenches with ordinary privates.”

According to the source, an apartment in Rostov-on-Don worth from 3.5 million to 6.2 million rubles was registered in the name of the arrested major general. He also owns two cars - a Mitsubishi Outlander and a Cruze Chevrolet. In 2020, Popov’s salary was 75,000 rubles.

Popov commanded the 58th Combined Arms Army in 2023. Previously, he was the chief of staff of the 22nd Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces in Crimea and the chief of staff of the 11th Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kaliningrad region.

IAF fighter jets down three drones launched at Israel by Iran-backed Iraqi militia
[IsraelTimes] Two UAVs shot down near southernmost city Eilat; third intercepted in north, causing shrapnel to strike Safed area; no injuries

Three drones launched at Israel by an Iran-backed militia in Iraq were shot down by Israeli fighter jets on Thursday night and early Friday morning, the military said.

The Islamic Resistance® in Iraq — a loose formation of gangs affiliated with the Popular Mobilization Forces, itself a coalition of former paramilitary forces integrated into Iraq’s regular armed forces — has claimed dozens of drone attacks on Israel amid the ongoing war, with the IDF reporting downing many of them. Many of the militia’s claims have been exaggerated, but in one case it managed to hit an Israeli Navy base in Eilat, causing damage.

In one incident, on Thursday night, the Israel Defense Forces said two "suspicious aerial targets" — later confirmed to be drones — that were heading toward Eilat from the "eastern direction" were downed by fighter jets. No sirens sounded, as the suspected drones were downed outside Israeli airspace, according to the IDF.

Shortly after the incident, the militia took credit for the attack, claiming to have launched two drones at a "vital target" in Israel’s southernmost city.

Then in the pre-dawn hours of Friday, the military said that fighter jets shot down another unmanned aircraft approaching northern Israel from the east. The third drone also did not enter Israeli airspace, according to the IDF.

Part of an interceptor missile used to down the drone, impacted in the northern city of Safed, sparking a fire. The IDF said the incident was under investigation. There were no injuries.

Shortly after the IDF said it had downed a third drone, the Islamic Resistance® in Iraq took responsibility, saying it launched a drone at the Haifa port. The Islamic Resistance® in Iraq said the attacks were in support of Gazoo

State Duma called for trial of the NATO Secretary General
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg must be tried for his idea of allowing Ukraine to fire Western weapons into Russian territory. This was stated by First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Alexey Chepa.

According to him, Ukraine’s Western allies will not allow their weapons to be used against military targets on Russian territory.

“No, they won’t allow it. He will have to be tried for proposals that are pushing the world towards disaster,” the deputy said in an interview with Lenta.ru.

As reported by Regnum, on May 25, in an interview with The Economist, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the Kiev regime’s Western allies “the time has come to consider” whether to lift some of the restrictions they have placed on the use of transferred weapons, thereby allowing their use for attacks on Russian territory.

Official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova said that it is useful for participants of the conference in Switzerland on the Ukrainian conflict to know about the call by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to lift restrictions for Kiev on strikes on Russian territory.

Formal “permission” to strikes with American weapons on Russian territory could lead to a serious escalation of the conflict, this is feared by the administration of US President Joseph Biden, which is trying to ensure the escalation of the Ukrainian conflict on a non-military track, senior researcher at INION RAS, political scientist, noted in a conversation with IA Regnum. Americanist Boris Mezhuev.

Zakharova on Stoltenberg’s words about strikes on Russian territory

For a participant in a conference in Switzerland on the Ukrainian conflict, it is useful to know about the call by the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg to lift restrictions for Kiev on strikes on Russian territory. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in the Telegram channel.

Earlier, Stoltenberg said that Kyiv’s Western allies should lift the current restrictions on Ukraine on strikes with their weapons on Russian territory.

“This is useful to know for everyone who is invited to the supposed “peace conference” in Switzerland,” the diplomat commented on the words of the alliance’s secretary general.

As Regnum reported, in an interview with The Economist, Stoltenberg noted that the time had come for the allies of the Kiev regime to consider whether they should lift some of the restrictions they had imposed on the use of transferred weapons. He noted that after the offensive of Russian troops in the Kharkov region, Ukrainians became especially irritated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had to use domestic drones to attack targets on Russian territory. At the same time, the offensive of the Russian army will continue; Ukraine is already experiencing significant difficulties, the secretary general added.

Prior to this, on May 21, Politico wrote that a group of American congressmen from both parties called on the Pentagon to “allow” Ukraine to strike Russian territory with weapons supplied from the United States. The congressmen noted that strikes can be carried out against strategic targets and under certain circumstances.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed on May 24 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already using American and other Western weapons to attack civilian targets in Russia outside the conflict zone.

Especially now, when in the Kharkov region, "There is a lot of fighting going on near the border. Because Ukraine does not have the ability to use these weapons against legitimate military targets on Russian territory, it is very difficult for it to defend itself."

Police arrest Jewish teen for alleged assault at UCLA anti-Israel encampment
[IsraelTimes] Edan On, 18, allegedly part of a group of counter-protesters who attacked the pro-Palestinian demonstrators, accused of seriously injuring a person with a wooden pole

Nearly a month after counterprotesters attacked a pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel encampment at the University of California, Los Angeles, police have made their first arrest, detaining an 18-year-old who is not a student or affiliated with the school in any way, officials said Friday.

UCLA did not identify the suspect, but online county jail records show that 18-year-old Edan On was arrested by UCLA police at 8:46 a.m. Thursday at a business in Beverly Hills and was jailed on $30,000 bail.
Since when do campus security get to hunt down miscreants off campus, instead of having to hand off the responsibility to the pros?
Last week, CNN identified On as a high school senior from Beverly Hills who was seen in videos wearing a white mask and white hoodie striking a pro-Palestinian demonstrator with a wooden pole during the April 30 attack on the encampment on campus.

Counterprotesters threw traffic cones, released pepper spray and threw live mice into the encampment, setting off fighting that went on for hours before police stepped in, drawing criticism from Muslim students and political leaders. Police said at least 15 people were injured, though pro-Palestinian supporters put the number closer to 25.
Oh, those pro-Palestinian activists — all that college education and they’re still at the 1-2-many stage of counting.
UCLA officials have said the attack involved “a group of instigators.”

“During that violence, one individual was seen on video assaulting encampment occupants with a wooden pole, causing serious injuries to at least one victim,” the university said in its statement Friday, adding that the suspect was booked at the UCLA Police Department for felony assault with a deadly weapon.

On’s mother wrote in Hebrew in a since-delated Facebook post that “Edan went to bully the Palestinian students in the tents at UCLA” and included an image of the person in the white hoodie that was broadcast on local news, CNN reported. The outlet said his mother confirmed to CNN that the man in the video was her son, though she later said he denies being at UCLA.

Neither On nor his mother could be reached by The Associated Press.

On Thursday, UCLA Chancellor Gene Block, who was among leaders of three universities called to testify at a congressional hearing about the wave of campus protests over Israel’s war with Hamas in Gaza, expressed remorse over the school’s handling of the attack on the encampment.

“Tragically, it took several hours for law enforcement to quell the violence,” Block said. “With the benefit of hindsight, we should have been prepared to immediately remove the encampment if and when the safety of our community was put at risk.”

The night after the attack, hundreds of police officers from various agencies poured onto the campus and dismantled the encampment. On Wednesday, the police chief at UCLA was reassigned “pending an examination of our security processes,” according to a statement from the school.

Protesters tried to establish a new encampment at UCLA on Thursday, but they left when ordered to disperse. A crowd of demonstrators marched elsewhere on campus, and a small group later staged a sit-in inside a building before officers cleared them out.

The arrest followed an investigation that included interviews with victims and witnesses as well as reviews of security camera images and publicly available videos from the public and news media.

The statement said university police are investigating all reported acts of violence associated with protest or counterprotest activities since April 25.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Heavy seas batter US Gaza maritime aid mission, says CENTCOM
[GEO.TV] Heavy seas battered the U.S. maritime humanitarian mission to Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
on Saturday, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said, with four vessels serving a floating aid delivery pier breaking free from their moorings.

No injuries were reported and the aid pier remains fully functional, CENTCOM said in a statement, adding that no US personnel would enter Gaza.

Two of the affected vessels were now anchored on the beach near the pier and the other two were beached on the coast of Israel near Ashkelon, CENTCOM said, adding that efforts to recover the vessels were under way with assistance from the Israeli Navy.
The Times of Israel adds:
One of the ships got stuck on a beach at the southern end of Ashdod, and another ship sent to extract the stuck vessel also got beached.

The other two vessels washed up on a beach near the pier, the statement said, adding that efforts to recover the vessels were underway with assistance from the Israeli Navy.
Courtesy of NoMoreBS, more from Red State:
Nothing about this mission has been thought through. An absence of heavy-lift ships on the East Coast meant that small Army ships spent over a month in a trans-Atlantic crossing, roughly going the same speed as Christopher Columbus' fleet. We now know that none of the aid pushed over the pier has reached Gaza civilians. To top it off, our humanitarian mission has come under attack from the people we are trying to help.

Now, the final promise has been broken, that of no "boots on the ground" in Gaza — even if the boots belonged to US military personnel walking away from a shipwreck.

Off they go to their new homes. They cannot live in Gaza. In 10-20 years Gaza will be a showpiece resort of highrises, amusement parks and NO Muslims.

Mulberry "A"
The Mulberry harbour assembled on Omaha Beach at Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer was for use by the American invasion forces. Mulberry "A" (American) was not as securely anchored to the sea bed as Mulberry "B" had been by the British, resulting in such severe damage during the Channel storm of June 19, 1944 that it was considered to be irreparable and its further assembly ceased,[12] It was commanded by Augustus Dayton Clark.

4000 years of documented history of being on the slosh end of a sluice in a shallow sea which means pop up storms this time of year where IIRC rowing vessels would have three anchors was standard procedure to keep them from being blown into to shore.

Legendary US submarine, sunk in 1944, found near the Philippines
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] One of the legendary submarines of the Second World War, the American submarine Harder, was discovered at the bottom of the South China Sea. This was reported by Business Insider with reference to the archaeological department of the US Naval History and Heritage Administration (NHHC).

USS Harder, known for its daring attacks on the Japanese fleet, was sunk on August 24, 1944, off the coast of the Philippines. The crew was commanded by officer Samuel Deeley, who was called the "destroyer killer".

It is noted that only the conning tower on the submarine was damaged, otherwise the ship is intact.

The discovery of the boat at a depth of 1140 m was reported by participants in the Lost 52 project, dedicated to the search for 52 American submarines that sank during the war. The archaeological department explained that it is difficult to identify submarines, but the USS Harder is perfectly preserved. The Lost 52 team collected detailed data using photogrammetry technology and underwater robots.

The Gato-class diesel-electric submarine USS Harder (SS-257) began construction in December 1941. In the spring of 1943, she began combat duty at the Pearl Harbor base. The submarine went on six combat cruises, in one of them she sank three Japanese destroyers, and also destroyed or damaged two more.

The submarine Harder went on its last voyage with another submarine, USS Hake. A team of 79 sailors discovered two Japanese ships in Dasol Bay in the northern Philippines and managed to fire three torpedoes before sinking as a result of enemy depth charges. The USS Hake managed to evade.

At least six submarines were found by members of the Lost 52 project. They said that, out of respect for the families of the sailors, they announce finds only after they are fully confirmed.

As Regnum reported, earlier in the United States they found a “cursed” ship that disappeared along with its crew in 1909 on Lake Superior. The wooden steamer Adella Shores set sail from Whitefish Point and ran into a storm. Its wreckage was found only in 2021. After this, experts studied numerous archival information and confirmed that the same ship had been discovered.

In January 2023, British researchers identified the name of a warship whose wreckage was recovered off the coast of Great Britain in 2019. We are talking about the Dutch ship Klein Hollandia, built in 1656 and sank in 1672 as a result of a battle in the English Channel. Its wreckage was located at a depth of 32 meters near the city of Eastbourne.

#2  ...A grim detail: one of the ships hunting Harder that day was the IJN's Patrol Boat 102.

PB 102 started life as USS Stewart (DD-224), part of the doomed US Asiatic Fleet at the beginning of the war. She had done well but was seriously damaged during the retreat to Java. Stewart was drydocked there for repairs...but the yard crew botched the process, she fell off the blocks, and had to be abandoned. When the Japanese showed up, they couldn't resist the opportunity and repaired/recommissioned her.

Somehow, PB102 survived the war to be recaptured and brought back to the states. She was sunk as a target off San Francisco in 1946.

#3  Andrew Jackson May (June 24, 1875 – September 6, 1959) was a Kentucky attorney, an influential New Deal-era politician, and chairman of the House Military Affairs Committee during World War II, famous for his role as chief architect of the Peacetime Selective Service act. May was implicated in the leak of classified naval information, and later an unrelated conviction for bribery. May was a Democratic member of United States House of Representatives from Kentucky during the 72nd to 79th sessions of Congress.
May was responsible for the release of highly confidential military information during World War II known as the May Incident. U.S. submarines had been conducting a successful undersea war against Japanese shipping during World War II, frequently escaping their anti-submarine depth charge attacks. May revealed the deficiencies of Japanese depth-charge tactics in a press conference held in June 1943 on his return from a war zone junket. At this press conference, he revealed the highly sensitive fact that American submarines had a high survival rate because Japanese depth charges were exploding at too shallow a depth. Various press associations sent this leaked news story over their wires and many newspapers published it, including one in Honolulu, Hawaii.
After the news became public, Japanese naval antisubmarine forces began adjusting their depth charges to explode at a greater depth. Vice Admiral Charles A. Lockwood, commander of the U.S. submarine fleet in the Pacific, estimated that May's security breach cost the United States Navy as many as 10 submarines and 800 crewmen killed in action. He said, "I hear Congressman May said the Jap depth charges are not set deep enough. He would be pleased to know that the Japs set them deeper now."

George Floyd chose really badly many times over his life.

It seems since 2008 (Obama - Biden era) that the Black Voter community is wising up and more and more are voting with their eyes open and NOT Democrat.

Because many are now seeing the Democrat Party really just a new, updated vernier version of the pre-1965 (D) for controlling minorities to insecure political control.

Zakharova calls on Poland to name the role of the United States in the terrorist attack on Nord Streams
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Poland, instead of commenting on the conflict in Ukraine, should publish the data it has on US participation in undermining the Nord Streams.Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this on May 25 in an interview with Izvestia.

“It would be better if the Polish Foreign Minister told us what he knows about the bombings of Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 and Washington’s role in this crime,” the diplomat urged.

This is how Zakharova responded to the statements of Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, who in an interview with The Guardian said that the United States allegedly threatened Russia to strike military positions in the special operation zone if Moscow used nuclear weapons in Ukraine.

As Regnum reported, according to Sikorsky, if the ban on the use of nuclear weapons is violated, then several countries, including Japan and South Korea, will become “nuclear.” NATO countries need to “learn to play the game of escalation better” so that Russian President Vladimir Putin can only guess about the alliance’s intentions, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry added.

On April 26, China's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Geng Shuang, said at a meeting of the Security Council of the world organization that the terrorist attack on Nord Stream should be investigated under the auspices of the UN. He called on the relevant countries to actively interact and cooperate with Russia in the joint investigation of the terrorist attack.

According to American journalist Seymour Hersh, the US authorities decided to blow up Nord Stream because they feared Germany would resume gas purchases along this route in winter conditions. US President Joe Biden wanted to be sure that Germany “will not leave the game” and will remain a participant in the confrontation with Russia, the journalist believes.

On April 3, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office appealed to the United States, Germany, France and Cyprus in the case of undermining the Nord Streams. The department expressed the hope that their Western colleagues will consider these materials in good faith and fulfill their obligations to conduct an investigation into the information provided, assist in obtaining evidence and ensure the inevitability of punishment.

Russian President Vladimir Putin in November 2022 called the bombing of Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 an obvious terrorist attack. He also stated that, theoretically, the United States was interested in the explosions at the SP, which, as a result of the terrorist attack, expanded the possibilities for selling liquefied natural gas in Europe.

The Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines were blown up in September 2022. As a result, both SP threads and one of the two SP-2 threads completely failed. The incident occurred in the exclusive economic zones of Sweden and Denmark. The FSB opened a criminal case under the article on international terrorism (Part 1 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Polish Foreign Minister threatens Russia with an American strike over nuclear weapons

After the start of the special operation, the United States threatened Russia with a strike on its positions in Ukraine, which would allegedly be delivered if the Russian military used nuclear weapons, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said in an interview with The Guardian.

“The Americans told the Russians that if you detonate a nuclear weapon, even if it doesn’t kill anyone, we will hit all your targets in Ukraine with conventional weapons,” he said, without specifying who allegedly made the statement.

If the ban on the use of nuclear weapons is violated, Sikorsky said, then several countries, including Japan and South Korea, will immediately become “nuclear.” He also said NATO countries need to "learn to play the escalation game better" so that Russian President Vladimir Putin can only guess at the alliance's intentions.

As reported by IA Regnum, earlier Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergei Ryabkov stated that Russia would move away from the topic of “red lines” and would respond to the West in a mirror manner in matters of nuclear threats.

The diplomat also stated the need to strengthen nuclear deterrence measures due to Western actions. He called exercises to develop skills in the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons one of the necessary steps.

On May 6, the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, on behalf of President Vladimir Putin, began preparations for exercises with missile formations of the Southern Military District, involving aviation and the navy. During the exercises, activities will be held to practice the preparation and use of non-strategic nuclear weapons.

The Ministry of Defense noted that the exercises should support the readiness of personnel and equipment of units for the combat use of non-strategic nuclear weapons to respond and in order to unconditionally ensure the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Russian state in response to provocative statements and threats of individual Western officials against Russia.

UN calls for reopening all land crossings for effective Gaza aid
[GEO.TV] A UN aid worker in Gaza called for reopening all land routes and an end to war for more effective humanitarian response to Palestinians.

Charlie Kirk threatens legal action over Florida Democrat Party 'white supremacist,' 'anti-semite' smears
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] After the Florida Democratic Party labeled Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk a "white supremacist, anti-semite" Kirk threatened legal action against the organization.

The Florida Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
made the accusation in a blurb labeled, "Breaking: Rick Scott accepts endorsement from white-supremacist, anti-semite Charlie Kirk."

After making the accusation against Kirk in reaction to his endorsement of the Florida senator for leader of the Senate GOP, Kirk shared it saying "Who thinks I should sue the Florida Democrat Party?"

Many reacted to the post in shock, saying that Kirk is very pro-Israel and suggesting the label was defamatory.

The blurb further added, "Just one day after formally launching his campaign for Senate Republican Leader, Rick Scott has proudly secured the endorsement of white supremacist and anti-Semite Charlie Kirk." They then said that TPUSA is a "far-right organization 'infested with anti-semitism.'" In contrast with the accusations, TPUSA hosts an annual Young Jewish Leadership Summit and Kirk has been vocal about his support for Israel.

"By courting Kirk and the far-right, Scott is demonstrating just how extreme he really is. Scott cares more about appeasing far-right extremists than serving Floridians," the blurb added.

The organization took a screen shot of Kirk posting the endorsement of Scott after the senator had been on Kirk's show.

"Sen. Rick Scott is a good man. He turned around many businesses. He turned around Florida as governor. He will turn around the US Senate, too," Kirk wrote.

To cite the accusations of antisemitism and white supremacy

...the pernicious doctrine that laws were intended to be obeyed, that society works better when people don't pour shreiking from their places of worship every Friday for a weekend of rioting over insults real or imagined; and that cannibalism, beastiality, incest, murder, theft, rape, and similar activities are bad. A Dead White European (which invalidates his opinion) philosopher once opined that societies thrive when a person's word can be relied upon, and that a society which puts individual happiness first will invariably fail. Strangely enough, other successful societies, such as China, Japan, Korea, and those kinds of places could also be lumped with white supremacist societies, since they push the same values...
, the Florida Democrats linked to a Rolling Stone article that claimed that Roseanne Barr denied the Holocaust. Barr had made a sarcastic comment in a viral clip that was deceptively edited, and taken out of context. She is Jewish herself and has spoken at TPUSA events. The article from the outlet also said TPUSA was antisemitic because Glenn Beck criticized George Soros
...either Ernst Stavro Blofeld or Auric Goldfinger come true...

US House panel grills university heads over deals to end anti-Israel encampments
[IsraelTimes] Presidents of Northwestern and Rutgers insist they didn’t yield to protesters’ demands, as Republican committee head, Virginia Foxx (NC) accuses them ,and UCLA pres, of ‘capitulating to the antisemitic rule breakers’

The presidents of Northwestern and Rutgers universities defended their decisions to end anti-Israel encampments by reaching agreements with the pro-Paleostinian student protesters, claiming during a US House committee hearing on Thursday that they defused the danger without ceding ground to the demonstrators.

"We had to get the encampment down," Northwestern’s Michael Schill said. "The police solution was not going to be available to us to keep people safe, and also may not be the wisest solution as we’ve seen at other campuses across the country."
