Troop buildup on Somalia’s Hiiraan–Middle Shabelle border sparks fears of fresh clashes
[ShabelleMedia] Somali government troops and allied local militia forces have mobilised along the border between the central regions of Hiiraan and Middle Shabelle, raising fears of renewed fighting with al-Shabaab

bully boys, security sources and residents said Saturday.

The military buildup comes amid heightened tensions following weeks of festivities in the contested area, particularly around the Ceel Hareeri—Aadan Yabaal corridor.

Senior Somali National Army (SNA) officers have arrived in the region to oversee operations aimed at reclaiming territory from the jihadist group, which has recently made territorial gains in parts of Middle Shabelle.

"The forces are preparing for an offensive to push al-Shabaab out of strategic areas," a local security official told Shabelle Radio on condition of anonymity.

The federal government has also delivered new arms and supplies to the Macawiisley, a community militia allied with the SNA, in a bid to strengthen the campaign against the bully boys.

Military activity is said to be concentrated around Ceel Baraf and Aadan Yabaal, areas considered flashpoints in the conflict. Residents fear that a new round of violence could erupt at any moment.

Airstrikes Hit Al-Shabaab Stronghold in southern Somalia

murderous Moslems.

The murderous Moslems, who still dominate central and southern regions, have been subjected to persistent airstrikes in the country over the last few months, with the ground forces encountering the group in several frontlines where the group is a thorn in the flesh.

According to reports, at least two explosions from suspected airstrikes were reported on Friday evening in the vicinity of Basra, an al-Shabaab stronghold between Bal’ad and Afgoye, a resident said, without giving many details.

Before the airstrikes, witnesses said the area was lit with bright flares. It is not clear who staged the airstrikes, but the US Africa Command is known for such missions, but strictly does them in collaboration with the federal government of Somalia.

The airstrikes are important in curtailing the movements of the murderous Moslems, giving the ground forces a technical and logistical advantage in pursuing the murderous Moslems. The US Africa Command always conducts thorough investigations.

Besides the Command, Ottoman Turkish forces have also been instrumental in the fight against al-Shabaab murderous Moslems, helping the ground forces with airstrikes. The Ottoman Turkish drones are used to target al-Shabaab with close coordination from the Gorgor troops.
Several top leaders of the militant group Al-Shabaab were killed in overnight airstrikes carried out by U.S. military drones in parts of southern Somalia, Somali security officials have confirmed.

The strikes targeted areas in Lower Shabelle and Middle Juba regions, including the districts of Sablaale, Haaway, and Kunya Barrow. The operation was conducted using intelligence provided by Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), with close coordination between the Somali government and its international partners, particularly the United States.

Among those killed in the airstrikes were Hussein Fiidow, the head of Al-Shabaab’s political affairs; Abdicaziz Abu Musab, the group’s spokesperson for military operations; the group’s appointed governor for Lower Shabelle; its finance chief; and other senior commanders.

In addition to targeting leadership figures, the airstrikes destroyed an Al-Shabaab training camp, killing more than 100 fighters who were reportedly in training. Vehicles carrying explosives, allegedly intended for attacks in Mogadishu, were also destroyed in the attack.

More than 800 Iraqis leave Rojava’s al-Hol camp
[Rudaw] More than 800 Iraqis left al-Hol in northeast Syria (Rojava) on Saturday as Baghdad continues to repatriate its nationals from the camp for suspected Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) family members and supporters, according to a Kurdish official.

About 10,000 Iraqis remain in the camp after the group of 832 people left on Saturday, Sheikhmous Ahmed, who oversees all internally displaced persons (IDP) and refugee camps in Rojava, told Rudaw.

Thousands of individuals with suspected ISIS ties are being held in al-Hol and Roj camps, which are controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in Rojava’s Hasaka province. al-Hol is the larger of the two camps. As of April, it housed 34,927 people. Of these, 15,681 were Iraqis, 15,861 were Syrians, and 6,385 were foreigners, according to data obtained by Rudaw English from Ahmed.

Iraq has repatriated its nationals in groups, bringing them to al-Jada camp south of djinn-infested Mosul

The repatriation of people affiliated with ISIS is a contentious issue in Iraq, given the heinous human rights

violations and war crimes the group committed when it controlled territory in the north and west from 2014 through 2017. While some tribes and communities have expressed willingness to integrate individuals linked to the group, others argue that reintegration should be limited to family members, particularly those who were not directly involved in severe crimes.

Baghdad has set a goal of repatriating all Iraqi citizens from camps in Rojava by 2027.

The SDF has agreed to hand control of the camp over to the interim Syrian government, which plans to focus on rehabilitation of camp residents.

Arab ministers condemn ‘arrogant’ Israeli decision to ban them from West Bank visit
[IsraelTimes] FMs from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, other Arab states say Jerusalem’s refusal to allow landmark trip to Ramallah reflects government’s ‘disregard for international law’

The foreign ministers of Arab countries who had planned to visit the West Bank over the weekend condemned on Saturday Israel’s decision to block their trip.

The ministers panned "Israel’s decision to ban the delegation’s visit to Ramallah [on Sunday] to meet with the president of the State of Paleostine, the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....>
," the Jordanian foreign ministry said.

Ministers from Saudi Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula, largely made up of sand and oil rigs. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual haj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Formerly dictatorial and steeped in Olde Tyme Religion, deferring to Salafist holy men on all issues, it has now done a 180 and is making a serious effort to modernize, so as not to be left in the sand by its Gulf Arab neighbors. The holy men have been shoved to the background and the nation is now still dictatorial but somewhat rational. That doesn't make them trustworthy, but it's a start...
, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates had been expected to take part alongside The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
, according to the statement.

The joint statement from the ministers said the decision to block the visit "reflects the extent of the Israeli government’s arrogance, its disregard for international law, and its continued illegitimate measures and policies that besiege the brotherly Paleostinian people and their legitimate leadership."

The ministers added that Israel was seeking to perpetuate "the occupation and undermine the chances of achieving a just and comprehensive peace."

Israel decided to block the delegation of Middle Eastern foreign ministers, led by Saudi Arabia’s top diplomat, from making a landmark visit to the West Bank. A senior Israeli official told The Times of Israel that the PA was planning to use the delegation’s visit to "promote the establishment of a Paleostinian state."

"Israel will not cooperate with moves designed to harm it and its security," the Israeli official asserted, claiming that a Paleostinian state would become "a terrorist state in the heart of the Land of Israel."

Since Israel controls the borders of the West Bank, its approval was required for the ministers to enter the territory.

The visit by Prince Faisal bin Farhan was supposed to be the first by a Saudi foreign minister since Israel took over the West Bank in 1967. The ministers were supposed to arrive in Ramallah via helicopters from Jordan, a source familiar with the matter said.

The Israeli entry ban is likely to further strain Israel’s relations with its Arab neighbors, which have already deteriorated significantly since the outbreak of the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. war.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman

...Crown Prince and modernizer of Saudi Arabia as of 2016. The Turks hate him, so he must be all right, despite the occasional brutal murder of Qatar-owned journalists...
personally supported the trip, which was also intended to show support for the embattled PA, according to the Axios news site.

The Israeli decision is likely to further distance efforts to secure a normalization deal between Jerusalem and Riyadh. Israeli officials have claimed that an agreement is possible, downplaying repeated Saudi assertions that it won’t happen absent an Israeli acquiescence to creating a pathway for a future Paleostinian state.

To attack Russian air bases, Ukrainian spies hid drones in wooden sheds
KYIV, June 1 (Reuters) - Ukrainian secret services were able to attack strategic bomber aircraft at Russian air bases on Sunday by hiding explosive-laden drones inside the roofs of wooden sheds, according to a Ukrainian security official and images posted online.

Ukraine's domestic security agency, the SBU, acknowledged that it carried out the operation, codenamed "Spider's Web" and said it had caused considerable damage.

Government Corruption
Dem Rep. Jerrold Nadler's aide detained by DHS agents in Manhattan office
[NY Post] Longtime Democratic Rep. Jerrold Nadler slammed President Trump for "sowing chaos" nationwide after federal agents handcuffed one of his aides inside his lower Manhattan office.

The lawmaker’s verbal tirade came after Department of Homeland Security officers entered the Big Apple office Wednesday and accused his staff of "harboring rioters" in a dramatic confrontation caught on video.

"President Trump and the Department of Homeland Security are sowing chaos in our communities, using intimidating tactics against both citizens and non-citizens in a reckless and dangerous manner," he said in a statement to Politico.

"If this can happen in a Member of Congress’s office, it can happen to anyone — and it is happening."

The video, obtained by Gothamist, showed one agent aggressively restraining a teary-eyed female staffer, while another employee asked for a warrant and blocked a second officer from entering a private section of the congressional office, located in the same Varick Street building as federal immigration court.

"I’m a federal officer, we’re here checking on something," the male agent said to the employee standing in his way, the footage showed.

"We have the right to check. You are harboring rioters in the office," he argued in the heated back-and-forth that ended with the staffer granting him access to the back office.

Nadler said that the "deeply troubling" incident showed a clear violation of legal protocols.

Federal Protective Service officers went to the congressman’s office to conduct a security check after receiving reports that protesters were hiding inside, DHS told The Post in a statement.

"Based on earlier incidents in a nearby facility, FPS officers were concerned about the safety of the federal employees in the office and went to the location to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those present," Homeland Security officials said.

When they arrived, one individual — the woman who was briefly detained — was "verbally confrontational and physically blocked access to the office" after the officers identified themselves and explained why there were there.

"The officers then detained the individual in the hallway for the purpose of completing the security check," DHS said.

A Senator Chris Murphy (Conn) email
Senator Chris Murphy
(D-Connecticut)
sent out this report from the Senate Floor:

Last night in the Senate, something really important happened. Republicans forced us to debate their billionaire bailout budget framework. We started voting at 6 PM because they knew doing it in the dark of night would minimize media coverage. And they do not want the American people to see how blatant their handover of our government to the billionaire class is.

So I want to explain what happened last night and what we did to fight back. The apex of Republicans’ plan to turn over our government to their wealthy cronies is a giant tax cut for billionaires and corporations. And they plan to pay for it with cuts to programs that working people rely on. Popular and necessary programs like Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP, are all being targeted. In order to pass the tax cut, Republicans have to go through a series of procedural steps. Last night, they took the first step which requires them to pass an outline of their plan, but with it, any senator can offer as many amendments as we want. So my Democratic colleagues and I did just that.

Now, we knew that Republicans would largely unanimously oppose them, but we had two objectives here. One, Republicans were forced to put their opinion on record — many for the first time — on the most corrupt parts of Trump and Musk’s agenda. Two, as I’ve been saying, I am going to make every process and procedure as slow and painful as possible for as long as my colleagues choose to ignore the constitutional crisis happening before our eyes.

So what did we propose? We proposed no tax cuts for anyone who makes a billion dollars a year. We made them vote on whether or not Elon Musk and DOGE should have limitless access to Americans’ personal data. We made them vote on whether to protect IVF and require insurers to cover it. Every single amendment Democrats proposed was shot down. On almost every single amendment, Republicans universally opposed it. Every Republican voted against our proposal to prevent more tax cuts for billionaires. The corruption and theft is happening in the open here.

The whole game for Republicans is taking your money and giving it to the wealthiest corporations and billionaires — even if it means kicking your parents out of a nursing home or turning off Medicaid for the poorest children. They know what they are doing is deeply unpopular. They are offering a tax cut to the most wealthy that is 850 times larger than what they are offering working people. Oh and by the way, any tax cuts for working people are going to be washed out by higher costs for basic necessities, like health care and food. It’s a fundamental injustice.

Thanks to your pressure and support, many of my Democratic colleagues have joined my effort to do everything we can to make sure they cannot destroy democracy and steal your money in the dark of the night. We are being loud about what is happening. I’m going to continue to grind the gears of Congress down as much as possible to make it that much harder and slower to get away with this corruption. That’s why the votes lasted until nearly 5 AM.

This is a five-alarm fire. I don’t think we have two years to plan and fight back. I think we have months. It’s still in our power to stop the destruction of our democracy with mass mobilization and effective opposition from elected officials. So we can’t miss any opportunity to take advantage of opportunities to put Republicans on the record and shine a light on what is happening.

And you have a role to play in this as well. I need you to amplify what’s happening, support the leaders who are fighting for you to make sure they can continue speaking truth to power against Musk and Trump’s billionaire cronies, and show up at rallies and town halls. Use every tool at your disposal to send a message loud and clear about how you expect my colleagues to lead and fight in this moment.

Every best wish,

US Senator Chris Patrick Murphy

7 civilians die in train crash, Russia fingers Ukrainian special services
"Nobody Understood Anything." What is Known About the Train Crash
[RIA] Viktor Zvantsev. In order to get people out of the mangled carriages, rescuers had to cut metal — while emergency services continued to clear the rubble at the site of the passenger train crash in the Bryansk region, two more emergencies on the railway tracks became known.

The first reports that passenger train No. 86 Klimov-Moscow had derailed began to arrive at emergency services in the Bryansk region at around 11 p.m. on May 31. Rescuers and ambulance medics who arrived at the scene of the emergency immediately began providing first aid to the victims.

An operational headquarters was soon set up, where all information is collected, and a hotline was opened for relatives and friends of the victims of the accident. According to local authorities, almost all representatives of the region's emergency services were thrown into eliminating the consequences of the emergency. First of all, searching for and releasing people.

"At first there was confusion, no one understood anything," passengers in the eighth carriage of train No. 86 told RIA Novosti. "Then we saw that the bridge had collapsed. However, we were practically unharmed and immediately began to help each other as best we could. Then emergency services arrived and evacuated us."

Those who received serious injuries were immediately taken to the nearest hospitals. The total number was more than 70 people, including a baby. More than half of them are still in different clinics. Moreover, some were sent to Moscow, where the capital's doctors are providing all possible assistance to people.

The process is controlled by the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko. He reports personally to President Vladimir Putin. The head of state, according to press secretary Dmitry Peskov, also receives information through the FSB and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The passengers were delivered to Moscow by a reserve train on the morning of June 1. Many were met at Kievsky Station by relatives and friends.
Those who arrived were examined by doctors; as a result, 11 people were hospitalized.

SEVEN DEAD
In the first hour of rescue work, the body of a locomotive engineer was pulled out from under the rubble. After some time, the number of dead increased to seven people. Russian Railways promised to pay 2.2 million rubles each to the relatives of these people as compensation.
The department also stated that the train left the tracks due to the collapse of a bridge span on the Ostapovo-Mikhailovsky Rudnik section.

According to preliminary data, when the passenger train passed under the road bridge, its supports collapsed and the entire road surface, along with a Miratorg truck that was traveling at that moment, fell on the train. The locomotive and the first two cars took the brunt of the impact.

Australia asks China to explain 'extraordinary' military build-up
[BBC] Australia's defence minister Richard Marles has called on China to explain why it needs to have "such an extraordinary military build-up".

He said Beijing needs to provide greater transparency and reassurance as it is the "fundamental issue" for the region.

Meanwhile, the Philippines defence minister Gilberto Teodoro Jr has called China "absolutely irresponsible and reckless" in its actions in the South China Sea.

The ministers had separately addressed reporters on the sidelines of an Asian defence summit held in Singapore.

China has yet to respond to either Marles or Teodoro.

Organised by the think tank International Institute for Strategic Studies, the Shangri-la Dialogue has traditionally been anchored by the US and China, which have been jostling for power in the region.

This year China has sent a lower-level delegation and scrapped its speech. In the absence of a strong Chinese presence, the dialogue has been dominated by criticism and questions of Beijing posed by the US and its allies.

On Sunday morning, Marles asserted that "what we have seen from China is the single biggest increase in military capability and build up in conventional sense, by any country since the end of the Second World War".

It is not just the size of the military build-up that concerns other countries, he told reporters.

Stephen Miller - Delisting firearms suppressors: the time is finally right
[American Thinker] Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill (BBB) is limited in scope. It will, if Senate Republicans do not once again earn the title "the stupid party," prevent the biggest tax increase and enable the biggest welfare reform in history. It can’t accomplish everything necessary to save the republic at once, but it can accomplish something Republicans, when they had the power, failed to do over and over again: delist suppressors.

At present, to own a suppressor one must submit to rigorous government vetting and pay a non-transferrable $200 tax. Approval can take up to a year. Suppressor retailers now offer their services handling the paperwork, but suppressors, because their numbers are artificially reduced, commonly retail for around $1000, in many cases much more than the retail price of the guns to which they’ll be affixed. It’s the same process necessary to buy a machine gun. Delisting will remove the tax, intrusive and unnecessary vetting, and enable the free market to substantially lower prices. Americans think that a good thing. Socialists don’t.

Maintaining maximum control over the lives of Americans is baked into the DNA of Democrats. They lied about a vegetable in the White House because they didn’t want Americans to have a choice for president. They’re lying about suppressors too.

Science & Technology
With more evidence that marijuana is harmful, why do Democrats push it so hard?
[American Thinker] Someone I grew up with is a pothead, and all his friends are potheads, so I’ve seen firsthand how destructive it is. I’ve seen how it destroys ambition, discipline, intelligence, and moral fiber. It’s a vile drug, and a new study reveals that, no matter how you ingest it (eating versus smoking), it also destroys the body. That being the case, we must ask why Democrats are so determined to see it legalized across America.

You don’t need to take my anecdotal claims to know just how bad marijuana is for the people who use it. There are endless studies making the same point:

  • Marijuana triggers psychopathy.
  • Long-term use of marijuana destroys motivation and ambition.
  • Marijuana has a damaging effect on adolescent brain development, impairing learning, memory, and impulse control.
  • Smoking or vaping marijuana increases respiratory illnesses.
  • Marijuana use increases the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
  • Marijuana use impairs the immune system’s functions.
  • Marijuana can cause Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome, which leads to violent vomiting episodes.
  • Marijuana can damage female and male fertility.
  • Marijuana heightens mood disorders, anxiety, and suicidality.

There’s also still debate about whether marijuana is a gateway drug to harder drugs, just as the "squares" in the 1960s warned. When I look at my friend and my friend’s friends, I’d say that the anecdotal evidence would say that this one is a "yes."

And just in case that list of horribles wasn’t long enough, there’s now evidence that those who thought they could avoid marijuana’s cardiovascular effects by using edibles instead of inhaling are out of luck. The risk is still there, no matter how you take in your pot:

Tapper: Harvard, Other Schools Have Negative View of Entire West, ‘Theology of Oppressor and Oppressed'
[Breitbart] On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s "Real Time," CNN host Jake Tapper stated that one of the issues with Harvard and other schools is "an academic theology of oppressor and oppressed." And college campuses are home to a view that sees the entirety of Western Civilization with suspicion.

While discussing antisemitism at Harvard, Tapper stated, "One of the things, this is far beyond Harvard, it has to do with an academic theology of oppressor and oppressed. If you only look at the world as oppressor versus oppressed, you then have to choose in a conflict, this group is the oppressor, this group is the oppressed. It’s also why, for example, there have been conflicts on other college campuses where gay students have protested things that are going on in Muslim countries having to do with the LGBTQ community in those countries and the gay students are made to be the oppressor because a lot of them are white. And that’s also what’s going on when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Israelis are made to be the oppressor, the Palestinians the oppressed and on and on and on. And that’s part of what’s going on at Harvard, that theology, that way of looking at the world."

Later, host Bill Maher said that there is an idea on campuses that "all of Western Civilization is suspect." Tapper responded, "Exactly."

IDF scotches women's infantry training after candidates fail to meet fitness standards
[Ynet] Military chief orders revised pilot for next year as IDF halts current female infantry mobility training, following Ground Forces chief's advice; after 6 months, army finds soldiers unlikely to meet required physical and combat fitness benchmarks.

While the findings indicated that the female trainees demonstrated strong professional performance, comparable to that of their male counterparts, their physical and combat fitness levels fell short of the standards required to qualify for the role. The IDF also cited medical data showing potential health risks for the women still in training, particularly in light of the expected increase in physical intensity.

Given the projected ineffectiveness of continuing the current track, the IDF decided to bring the pilot to an early end.

The military emphasized that the program received "extensive command-level attention," with close oversight from medical and fitness personnel, as well as the training staff, to ensure the women had optimal conditions for success in a physically demanding environment. A new pilot will only be launched after lessons are drawn from the current trial experience.

Jasmine Crockett Tries to Explain Democrat Playbook, Spews Out Kamala-Worthy Gibberish Instead
[Red State] If Jasmine Crockett is the new face of the Democrat party, Republicans can sleep easier at night. The incendiary Texas Democrat congresswoman has made numerous headlines in recent months for her increasingly unhinged rhetoric, as she mocked Lone Star Gov. Greg Abbott’s use of a wheelchair (he was partially paralyzed by a falling tree in his 20s), she threatened TX Sen. Ted Cruz, and so much more.

But does she have the goods? Can she be the next leader the flailing Democrats so badly need?

In a word, no. The problem is, she makes no sense. In an interview with FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth posted to YouTube Wednesday, reporter Steven Dial asked her about the Democrat playbook for the midterms and whether the party would focus on discussing "kitchen table issues."

Her answer was all over the place and made her fellow congresscritter, New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, seem like a Mensa hall-of-famer in comparison:

VDH - Harvard, You're Entitled to Nothing (video)
[Daily Signal] Hello, this is Victor Davis Hanson for The Daily Signal. Recently, President Donald Trump has escalated his struggle with Harvard University. Remember what the issues were. Harvard had not really followed the letter of the law according to the 2022 Supreme Court ruling, which it and the University of North Carolina had lost.

In other words, they were, by court order, to stop giving preference in admissions, in hiring, in promotion, in retention on the basis of race, gender, etc., what we would call DEI. Harvard has been skirting that. And I think the data’s pretty clear how they have and no question that they’ve been doing it.

Second, they have also been getting a lot of money from foreign governments, not always fully accounted for, that is reported to the Department of Education, specifically Communist China and Qatar, over the years.

You could make the argument that there have been, in the past, graduations, dorms that have a racial basis, almost a segregation element to them.

Damning IAEA report spells out Iran’s past secret nuclear activities; PM: Stop Iran now
[IsraelTimes] Findings include 2003 tests of detonator for nuclear bomb; UN watchdog also says Tehran now has enough uranium, if enriched further, for 9 bombs; Netanyahu’s office urges world to ‘act now to stop Iran’

    Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
carried out secret nuclear activities with material not declared to the UN nuclear watchdog at three locations that have long been under investigation, the watchdog said in a wide-ranging, confidential report to member states seen by Rooters.
Oh? So much for adamant CIA and intelligence community claims that Iran is absolutely not continuing its nuclear bomb program. Are we to believe they have been abysmally stupid or merely vicious liars? There is work for the new Trump appointees, clearing out the inadequate and unacceptable on staff, at
The findings in the "comprehensive" ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency report, requested by the agency’s 35-nation Board of Governors in November, pave the way for a push by the United States, Britannia, La Belle France and Germany for the board to declare Iran in violation of its non-proliferation obligations.

A resolution would infuriate Iran and could further complicate nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington.

Using the IAEA report’s findings, the four Western powers plan to submit a draft resolution for the board to adopt at its next meeting the week of June 9, diplomats say. It would be the first time in almost 20 years that Iran has formally been found in non-compliance.

Iran’s foreign ministry rejected the report as "politically motivated" and said Tehran will take "appropriate measures" in response to any effort to take action against the country at the Board of Governors meeting, state media reported, without elaborating.

Tehran, which openly seeks Israel’s destruction, claims it wants to master nuclear technology for peaceful purposes and has long denied accusations by Western powers that it is seeking to develop nuclear weapons. But it has been enriching increasing quantities of uranium to levels that can only be used for nuclear weaponry.

While many of the findings relate to activities dating back decades and have been made before, the IAEA report’s conclusions were more definitive. It summarized developments in recent years and pointed more clearly towards coordinated, secret activities, some of which were relevant to producing nuclear weapons.

It also spelled out that Iran’s cooperation with IAEA continues to be "less than satisfactory" in "a number of respects." The IAEA is still seeking explanations for uranium traces found years ago at two of four sites it has been investigating. Three hosted secret experiments, it found.

The IAEA has concluded that "these three locations, and other possible related locations, were part of an undeclared structured nuclear program carried out by Iran until the early 2000s" and that "some activities used undeclared nuclear material," the report said.

Nuclear material and/or heavily contaminated equipment from that program was stored at the fourth site, Turquzabad, between 2009 and 2018, it said.

The Turquzabad site became known publicly in 2018 after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed it at the United Nations
...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense...
and called it a clandestine nuclear warehouse hidden at a rug-cleaning plant.

Iran denied this, but in 2019, IAEA inspectors detected the presence of manmade uranium particles there.

"The Agency concludes that Iran did not declare nuclear material and nuclear-related activities at three undeclared locations in Iran, specifically, Lavisan-Shian, Varamin, and Turquzabad," the report said.

At Lavisan-Shian in Tehran, a disc made of uranium metal was "used in the production of explosively-driven neutron sources" at least twice in 2003, a process designed to initiate the earth-shattering kaboom in a nuclear weapon, the report said, adding that it was part of "small-scale" tests.

The report is likely to lead to Iran being referred to the UN Security Council, though that would probably happen at a later IAEA board meeting, diplomats said.

More immediately, it is likely to lead to Iran again accelerating or expanding its rapidly advancing program, as it has done after previous rebukes at the board. It could also further complicate talks with the United States aimed at reining in that program.

    ENOUGH FOR NINE BOMBS
A separate IAEA report sent to member states on Saturday said Iran’s stock of uranium enriched to up to 60% purity, close to the roughly 90% of weapons grade, had grown by roughly half to 408.6 kg. That is enough, if enriched further, for nine nuclear weapons, according to an IAEA yardstick.

Approximately 42 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium is theoretically enough to produce one atomic bomb, if enriched further to 90%, according to the watchdog.

The IAEA report raised a stern warning, saying that Iran is now "the only non-nuclear-weapon state to produce such material" — something the agency said was of "serious concern."

There was no immediate comment from Tehran on the new IAEA report.

    NETANYAHU: ACT NOW
In a rare statement on a Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath, Netanyahu’s office said the report showed that Iran’s nuclear program was not peaceful and that Tehran remained determined to complete its nuclear weapons plans.

"The international community must act now to stop Iran," Netanyahu’s office said in a statement, adding that the level of uranium enrichment Iran had reached "exists only in countries actively pursuing nuclear weapons and has no civilian justification whatsoever."

Iiran has maintained its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only, but the IAEA chief, Rafael Mariano Grossi, has previously warned that Tehran has enough uranium enriched to near-weapons-grade levels to make "several" nuclear bombs if it chose to do so.

Iranian officials have increasingly suggested that Tehran could pursue an atomic bomb.

US intelligence agencies assess that Iran has yet to seriously begin a weapons program, but has "undertaken activities that better position it to produce a nuclear device, if it chooses to do so."

    CALL FOR IRANIAN COOPERATION
Grossi said Saturday that he "reiterates his urgent call upon Iran to cooperate fully and effectively" with the IAEA’s years-long investigation into uranium traces discovered at several sites in Iran.

In Saturday’s report, the IAEA said that the "lack of answers and clarifications provided by Iran" has led the agency to conclude that the secret locations, and other possible related locations, were part of an undeclared structured nuclear program carried out by Iran until the early 2000s and that "some activities used undeclared nuclear material."

It specifically noted Tehran’s lack of progress in explaining nuclear material found at undeclared sites.

"In particular, Iran has repeatedly either not answered or not provided technically credible answers to the agency’s questions and has sanitized locations as listed in this report, which has impeded agency verification activities."

    US President Donald Trump
...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party...
has said he told Netanyahu to hold off on a potential strike on Iran’s nuclear sites to give the US administration more time to push for a new deal with Tehran.

The US president said on Friday that he still thinks a deal could be completed in the "not too distant future."

"They don’t want to be blown up. They would rather make a deal," Trump said of Iran. He added, "That would be a great thing that we could have a deal without bombs being dropped all over the Middle East."

On Thursday, senior Iranian officials dismissed speculation about an imminent nuclear deal with the United States, emphasizing that any agreement must fully lift sanctions and allow the country’s nuclear program to continue.

Iran, which avowedly seeks Israel’s destruction, has consistently denied seeking to acquire nuclear weapons. However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
it has been enriching uranium to levels that have no peaceful application, has obstructed international inspectors from checking its nuclear facilities and expanded its ballistic missile capabilities, and its officials have increasingly warned that they could pursue the bomb.

According to the IAEA, Iran is the only country in the world that enriches uranium up to 60%, a level that has no civilian use. That rate is still just below the 90% threshold required for a nuclear weapon, but far above the 3.67% limit set under a 2015 agreement with world powers.

Books by US writer destroyed in Ukraine for 'romanticizing Russia'
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Kharkiv publishing house KSD destroyed 30 thousand copies of the book "The Cruel Prince" by the US writer Sophie Lark, because they saw "romanticization of Russia" in the novel. This was reported on May 31 by the Ukrainian publication "Strana.ua".

"We have decided to destroy the print run of 30,000 copies and terminate the contract for all six books in the series. We acknowledge our mistake in concluding the contract with the author," the statement said.

The publisher reported that Lark had referred to Crimea as Russian and had also claimed that Grigori Rasputin "gave most of Ukraine to the Germans." The writer was also accused of describing Ukraine in a negative light.

The scandal surrounding Lark's works began with a series of publications on social networks. In one of the books, Elena Zelenskaya, who lives in Lviv, dreams of leaving the country and marrying a foreigner. She calls Ukrainian men rude and is outraged that Ukrainian cities "smell like diesel and are generally a complete horror," the publication says.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, an anti-Russian campaign unfolded in Ukraine after the 2014 coup d'état, which also affected books. In 2019, the country banned the circulation of Mikhail Bulgakov's book "The Master and Margarita" because the preface to the novel mentioned Russian cultural figures Yuri Karu, Nikolai Burlyaev, and Valentin Gaft.

That same year, Oliver Stone and Peter Kuznick's book "The Untold History of the United States" was banned in the country. The reason was that the authors presented a point of view on Ukrainian collaborators that did not coincide with the position of the Kiev regime.

In July 2023, public performance of songs and reading of books in Russian were banned in Kiev. In April 2024, all of Bulgakov's books were banned in Ukraine. The Kiev native was called an imperialist and Ukrainophobe.

In August 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed to the systematic attempts by the Ukrainian authorities, supported by the West, to destroy Russian culture and language in the territories under their control. The head of state called such a policy a sure failure.

They meant business: Air Force dropped over 50 munitions in 30 seconds in strike that killed Muhammad Sinwar 2 weeks ago, IDF says
[IsraelTimes] Israeli Air Force fighter jets dropped over 50 munitions in 30 seconds in the strike that eliminated Hamas leader Muhammad Sinwar in southern Gaza on May 13, according to the military.

The strike targeted a tunnel system that ran underneath the European Hospital in Khan Younis. Alongside Sinwar, the strike also killed Muhammad Shabana, commander of the terror group’s Rafah Brigade, and Mahdi Quara, commander of the South Khan Younis Battalion.

According to the IDF, the “precise” missiles hit the underground Hamas command center and tunnel system, killing the senior commanders, without harming the hospital itself.

After Muhammad Sinwar’s death confirmed, Katz warns remaining Hamas leaders: You are next

[IsraelTimes] After the military confirmed the death of Hamas leader Muhammad Sinwar in an airstrike several weeks ago, Defense Minister Israel Katz warns the remaining leaders of the terror group in Gaza and abroad that they are next.

“Now it is official: The murderer Muhammad Sinwar has been eliminated with the Rafah Brigade commander Muhammad Shabana and the wicked gang who were with them under the European Hospital in Gaza, and he was sent to meet his brother at the gates of hell,” Katz says in a statement

Izz al-Din Haddad in Gaza and Khalil al-Hayya abroad, and all their partners in crime, you are next in line,” he adds.

Haddad is Hamas’s Gaza City commander — the de facto most senior official in the Strip — and al-Hayya is a member of Hamas’s leadership council abroad.
Mr. al-Hayya met with the PM of Qatar two weeks ago, in case anyone needs to know figure out where he is now…

Deadly flooding hits Nigeria, thousands displaced
[NYPOST] The corpse count from devastating flooding in a market town in Nigeria's north-central state of Niger rose to at least 151 on Saturday, the local emergency service said, amid efforts to find more victims.

Torrents of predawn rainfall early Thursday unleashed the devastating flood on Mokwa, nearly 236 miles west of Abuja and a major trading and transportation hub where northern Nigerian farmers sell beans, onions and other food to traders from the south.

The spokesperson for the Niger State emergency service, Ibrahim Audu Husseini, confirmed the updated fatality count to The News Agency that Dare Not be Named on Saturday. In addition to the rising corpse count, 11 people were maimed and more than 3,000 people were displaced, the official added.

At least 500 households across three communities were affected by the sudden and intense flood that built rapidly in about five hours, leaving roofs barely visible and surviving residents waist-deep in water, trying to salvage what they could and rescue others.

ADC Hidayatullah Buledi laid to rest after deadly Surab attack
[GEO.TV] Funeral prayers were offered on Saturday in Quetta for Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Hidayatullah Buledi, who was martyred in a terrorist attack at his residence in Surab, Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
Government front man Shahid Rind confirmed on Friday that ADC Buledi was fatally maimed in a shootout with armed gunnies at his home, where his family was also present.

A large number of citizens, along with Commissioner Naseerabad Moeenur Rehman, deputy commissioners, and other officials, attended the funeral.

After the prayers, a Levies contingent paid a formal salute to the fallen officer. Buledi's body had been flown in from Surab to Quetta by helicopter.

The assailants, reportedly in large numbers, looted and torched a local bank and at least six government offices, including official residences.

The Surab cop shoppe and the Levies post were also set ablaze, and four law enforcement vehicles were destroyed.

''This attack was carried out by proxies backed by India,'' Rind alleged, adding that security forces had reached the area and launched a clearance operation.

''The state will thwart all such conspiracies and uphold its authority,'' he said.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a strong condemnation of the attack, describing it as a cowardly act of terrorism targeting innocent civilians, administrative officers, and public property.

UK trade envoy visits Israel despite freeze in talks on free trade agreement
[IsraelTimes] Ian Austin’s trip to Haifa reportedly did not include meetings with Israeli officials, only businesses

The UK’s trade envoy to Israel visited Haifa this week, the British embassy said, despite London cutting off trade talks with Jerusalem in protest of Israeli policies in its war against Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
    in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
The envoy, Ian Austin, was in Haifa visiting a customs scanning center, the local port, the Haifa-Nazareth light rail project, and the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology, the UK Embassy in Israel posted on X.

Austin’s visit came only days after British Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced that the UK would be suspending free trade agreement negotiations with Israel and taking other punitive measures, including the imposition of sanctions on West Bank settlers, in response to Israel’s wartime policies.
Crossed wires, non-communications, or the hope that the entie situation will soon be resolved so he can do his job?
The announcement followed comments by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Tuesday that he was "horrified" by Israel’s expanded ground campaign in Gaza.
Nobody likes Sir Keir anymore. How soon until he is voted out of office?
The UK government defended Austin’s visit, saying that while the free trade agreement talks had been suspended, the UK still seeks to maintain existing business relationships, the Financial Times reported.
Possibly Israel will decide to do unto them back, like President Trump did to China.
"We suspended talks with Israel on a new FTA because it is not possible to advance discussions with a Netanyahu government pursuing such egregious policies in Gaza and the West Bank," a statement said. "Lord Austin is in Israel this week in his capacity as trade envoy to maintain our relationship with Israeli businesses."

According to the Financial Times, Austin was in Israel until Friday and did not hold any meetings with government officials during his stay.

Austin did not provide a comment to the Financial Times.

Austin, a former member of the Labour Party, quit the faction in 2019 during the leadership of anti-Israel politician Jeremy Corbyn, because of what he said was an internal "culture of extremism, antisemitism and intolerance."
And now? Sir Keir took the Labour Party away from Jeremy Corbyn on a platform of Jew-positivity, among other issues, but that pretense has clearly ended.
The UK and Israel began negotiations for a comprehensive free trade agreement to bolster bilateral trade in July 2022, working off a 2019 UK-Israel trade continuity agreement. In July 2024, the UK’s new Labour government announced its intention to resume FTA talks with Israel, making it one of the six FTAs the government committed to restarting.
That was back when Sir Keir loved the Jews and Israel.
Israel sees the UK as its fourth-largest provider of foreign direct investment, with $1.13 billion invested in 2023, according to data shared by the British Embassy in Israel in March.

Alaudinov about NATO's role in the Ukrainian Armed Forces' invasion of the Kursk region
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Maj. Gen. Apti Alaudinov is a Chechen ground forces commander

[Regnum] The North Atlantic Alliance has been preparing an operation by Ukrainian forces to invade the Kursk region for six months. This was reported by the commander of the Akhmat special forces and deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov.

"The NATO bloc's headquarters committee was preparing such a super operation, which in essence had to be guaranteed to be effective. They collected all the resources they had, all types of foreign equipment, and trained fighters," RIA Novosti quotes Alaudinov as saying.

He noted that Ukrainian servicemen were trained in Great Britain and other countries of the alliance, and the captured territories were planned to be used by Kyiv as an advantage in negotiations.

Alaudinov emphasized that Russia won a victory by inflicting a decisive defeat on NATO troops on its territory, where the enemy once again tried to demonstrate its strength, but failed.

Media: Former Foreign Allies Become Threat to Syrian President
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa may be overthrown by foreign Islamists who helped him come to power. This was reported on May 31 by The Washington Post.

The threat comes from the thousands of armed men who helped al-Sharaa overthrow President Bashar al-Assad, many of whom are Islamists from Europe and Central Asia.
Ah. The reporter means the allied jihadi groups, not the government of Turkey.
Al-Sharaa appointed some of them to senior positions in the Defense Ministry, hoping that ordinary soldiers would be able to obtain Syrian citizenship. These plans were thwarted by demands put forward by Washington. The foreigners must leave Syria - under these conditions, US President Donald Trump promised to ease sanctions against the republic.

Some of these radical Sunni Muslims from al-Sharaa's entourage are already causing him problems, the newspaper notes. The blood of hundreds of members of the Alawite religious minority is on their hands. At the same time, the most radical of them are already openly irritated by the fact that their former comrade-in-arms al-Sharaa has still not introduced Sharia law in Syria.

There are currently 5,000 foreign armed Islamists remaining in Syria. Many of them are integrated into local communities, especially in the northwest, and are married to Syrian wives with children who are growing up in Syria.

Scientists reveal consequences of largest solar mass ejection this year
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Scientists have recorded the largest mass ejection on the Sun this year, which could lead to strong magnetic storms. This was reported on May 31 by Sergei Bogachev, head of the solar astronomy laboratory at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

“The power of the emission is inferior to similar events last year in May, which led to storms of level 5, but, tentatively, it could lead to the largest series of magnetic storms this year with peak values up to G4 (the class preceding the highest fifth point),” the specialist explained.

He added that calculations show an exceptionally high plasma speed. According to scientists' forecast, solar matter may approach the Earth late in the evening of June 1.

Bogachev specified that the emission occurred as a result of a strong solar flare of level M8.2, which was recorded at 03:05 Moscow time in active region No. 4100. The scientist explained that it is located in the center of the visible disk of the Sun, practically on the Sun-Earth line.

According to him, this situation excludes the possibility that the ejected material will pass by the Earth.

Turkish authorities order detention of dozens of opposition officials in crackdown
[IsraelTimes] Opposition-run municipalities raided amid widening measures against Istanbul mayor seen as Erdogan’s main political rival

Ottoman Turkish authorities ordered the detention of several opposition party members in Istanbul and raided opposition-run municipalities on Saturday, state media said, part of a widening legal crackdown against the opposition and the city’s placed in durance vile
Drop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages!
    mayor.

Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, who is also President Tayyip Erdogan’s main political rival and leads him in some polls, was placed in durance vile
Drop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages!
in March pending trial over charges of corruption and aiding a terrorist group, all of which he denies.

The arrest of the mayor, from the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), triggered mass protests, economic turmoil, and broad accusations of government influence over the judiciary and anti-democratic applications. The government denies this and says the judiciary is independent.

Since Imamoglu’s arrest, authorities have detained dozens of CHP members, officials from the Istanbul municipality, and other CHP-run municipalities. Access to Imamoglu’s X account was also blocked in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
    ...a NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all....
member, but not the most reliable...

    this month.

On Saturday, the state-owned Anadolu news agency and private broadcaster NTV reported that detention warrants had been issued for 47 people in four separate graft investigations, with 28 of those being detained.

Among those detained was former CHP politician Aykut Erdogdu, the mayors of several districts in Istanbul, senior staff at the Istanbul municipality or institutions tied to it, and the mayors of two districts in the southern province of Adana, according to Anadolu.

It said police also searched the buildings of the Avcilar, Buyukcekmece, Gaziosmanpasa, Seydan, and Ceyhan municipalities, whose mayors were ordered detained as part of the probe.

In response to the new wave of detentions, the CHP called an emergency meeting in Istanbul, NTV reported.

Some Western countries, rights groups, and the CHP have said repeatedly that the operations are anti-democratic and aimed at quashing the opposition’s electoral prospects. Imamoglu and his CHP have said there is no concrete evidence against him.

Opinion polls show that popular support for Imamoglu has risen since his arrest, extending his lead over Erdogan and reinforcing the view that he would be Erdogan’s main rival in the next presidential election, not due until 2028.

    Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
There will be no new Minsk
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[ColonelCassad] Yesterday, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Security Council, Nebenzya, once again indicated that Russia will not agree to a new Minsk (conditional Minsk-3) and a freeze on the LBS.

Because if we agree to this, the ceasefire will be used as an operational pause, during which the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be replenished through forced mobilization, strengthen their current positions, receive additional assistance from NATO and resume hostilities at a convenient moment.

This can easily be done through a series of conventional shelling, as was the case during Minsk-1 and Minsk-2. There are no control mechanisms that could prevent such a scenario. That is why they are offering this to us, and we have consistently refused.

So, at least in words, the lessons of Minsk-1 and Minsk-2 have been learned by the Russian authorities and now the diplomatic position of the Russian Federation is many times tougher than it was during the Minsk agreements.

Now Russia really speaks the language of ultimatums, which is facilitated by the situation on the front - in addition to Donbass, the offensive in Sumy Oblast is successfully developing (today Vodolahy and Alekseyevka were liberated, battles are underway for Yunakovka) plus Syrsky announced today that the Russian Armed Forces have launched an offensive operation in Zaporizhzhya Oblast. Ultimately, if the enemy refuses the rather modest conditions put forward by Russia (minus 4 regions), then by autumn this demand may be transformed into 5 regions. Russian officials talk about this quite openly.

Europe's threats in general do not make much of an impression. Europe is marked as an enemy that cannot maintain its own red lines. As a result, if earlier they joked about Russia's brown lines with empty threats to respond, now they ridicule the impotence of the European Union, which threatens Russia with terrible punishments and puts forward ultimatums that Russia demonstratively ignores. All this is a consequence of separate negotiations with the US, which allowed Russia to direct the negotiations in a favorable direction and exclude Europe from them (this is also a lesson from Minsk-2, where France and Germany used the "freeze" to prepare for war).

Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin in Istanbul in the first half of June 2. The Russian delegation will be waiting for the Ukrainian delegation in the morning. The US, in turn, is putting pressure on Kiev so that they do not think about jumping out. There will be no representatives of Europe at the negotiations. As I wrote back in 2014, the only negotiations on the merits of Ukraine are possible only with the Americans.

Any negotiations on Ukraine without the US are doomed to failure, since the US can easily torpedo any agreements through Ukraine, but at the same time, if the US considers the agreements beneficial for itself, it can force both Ukraine and Europe to accept these agreements if there is desire and political will. The US has the capacity for coercion.

Therefore, the borders of 1991 and 2022 are no longer remembered - the situation has entered the stage of a separate bargaining between the US and the Russian Federation, which Europe and Ukraine are trying to disrupt.

Biden Got Lost in His Own Closet in the Morning, Senator Hawley Reveals
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Former US President Joe Biden, during his years in power, often could not find his way out of his own wardrobe in the White House in the morning. This was reported by US Senator Josh Hawley, citing information from a Secret Service employee providing security for the American leader.

"He (a Secret Service specialist - Ed.) told me that Biden was getting lost in his own closet in the White House in the mornings. A man wandering around the White House, unable to find his way out of his closet," the senator said on Fox News.
    Elder abuse, straight up.
According to Hawley, the American people were lied to for years about the condition of the head of the White House, which is confirmed by the information that has come to light.

In May, Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again was published. It chronicles Biden's period as the president's mental and physical faculties deteriorated by the day. The book was written by CNN's Jake Tapper and Axios' Alex Thompson.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on May 30, Biden jokingly promised to “ beat to death ” everyone involved in writing a book with examples confirming the decline of his cognitive abilities.

    Government Corruption
'Deepstate has ruined everything.' US court sawed off Trump's tariff baton
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
    by Malek Dudakov

[REGNUM] Donald Trump's trade wars have put the United States on the brink of another split. It will soon be two months since America's so-called "Liberation Day," when the White House announced sweeping tariffs on all countries around the world.

Since then, financial markets have been shaking, and Trump's team has had to back down and sharply adjust its policies. Now, the front line against tariff wars has opened up within America itself.

The current American president's initiatives have once again encountered legal obstacles. American businesses, which suffered from the tariffs, have begun to actively sue the White House.

Trump's opponents consider the very practice of introducing tariffs unilaterally by presidential decrees to be illegal and in violation of the US Constitution. After all, historically, trade regulation is considered the prerogative of Congress, that is, the legislative branch of government.

However, in recent decades, the executive branch in America has taken over many powers from Congress.

For example, in the past, wars could not be started without the go-ahead from legislators. Since Richard Nixon, this has become possible. Now, US presidents can send troops anywhere for a limited period of time without seeking congressional approval. The same applies to the tariff situation.

The White House declared a special trade emergency immediately after Trump's inauguration. The reason for this was the colossal US trade deficit, which in 2024 reached a record $1 trillion.

Then, already within the framework of the emergency regime, Trump’s team began to use special powers to introduce tariffs of tens or sometimes hundreds of percent.

Now, the Court of International Trade in New York has ruled that it is unconstitutional. And the decision was unanimous — even though the court included appointees of Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama, and Trump himself.

This does not close the possibility of introducing higher tariffs permanently. There are other grounds - for example, one can accuse other countries of creating a threat to US national security.

But using other routes will be technically more difficult, it will take more time and reduce the room for maneuver. In addition, you will have to accept the fact that the maximum amount and duration of duties will already be seriously limited.

Right now, White House lawyers are hoping to prevail in an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. It formally has a Republican majority — six conservative justices against three liberals. But even in that scenario, it is far from certain that the Supreme Court will side with Trump.

The fact is that right-wing judges in the US, as a rule, adhere to the concept of so-called "originalism". Its essence lies in the literal interpretation of the American constitution. At the same time, liberal judges like to interpret the country's basic law based on current realities, adjusting it to their views.

In this regard, conservative judges may well strip the White House of its power to impose tariffs and return that privilege back to Congress, as the Founding Fathers originally intended.

This development would be a powerful blow to the Trump team's position, which is already seriously weakened by the current legal battles. After all, any US trading partner now understands that it only takes a little time for the tariffs to be lifted by themselves due to internal discord in America.

For example, in July there were threats to increase tariff pressure on the European Union by introducing duties of up to 50%. Now the implementation of these plans is in question. Similar questions arise regarding the "anti-Chinese" tariffs, which were reduced only for a period of up to 90 days.

And any country will now seek a more advantageous deal with the US, since the tariff baton is no longer hanging over it.

A separate issue is the future of the secondary tariffs on Russia being discussed in the Senate. Hawks are pressing Trump to impose these tariffs, hoping to undermine the negotiating process.

However, the White House retains control over the Republican agenda, which has a majority in both houses of Congress.

This is a far cry from Trump's first term, when John McCain was still alive and neocon hawks were the mainstream of Washington Republicans.

Since then, the party has undergone a major ideological transformation, with MAGA Republicans now in control, many of whom lean toward isolationism.

Hawks, on the other hand, have to adapt to the new realities. As Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a former ardent neocon and now a true foreign policy realist, is doing.

So without Trump's go-ahead, the sanctions bill is unlikely to be put to a vote in Congress. And even if it is passed, the bill does not oblige the White House to immediately introduce new sanctions and tariffs.

There is room for maneuver - it is only necessary to conduct an investigation into the possibility of achieving a ceasefire in Ukraine. And only then make a decision on the implementation of tariffs.

While the realists in Trump's team hope to reach an agreement with Russia, sanctions are not to be expected. The latest statements by hawks like Keith Kellogg, who ruled out the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO, show that even they understand the need to conduct a dialogue with Russia on normal terms.

It would be desirable to extrapolate this experience to negotiations with other countries - not to wave a tariff baton at them, but to conduct a sensible dialogue. And then there is a chance to achieve something worthwhile.

At the same time, the prospects for America's reindustrialization are becoming even more obscure. Some production will indeed be able to be pulled to the US, but there is no point in expecting mass construction of enterprises and factories for the most banal reasons.

There are not enough skilled workers and engineers, the experience and necessary competencies have long been lost, and production in America is too difficult and expensive.

There is one silver lining for Trump in the current tariff wars, however: They could offset the impact of the toughest tariffs, making it less likely that the U.S. economy will slide into another crisis.

The introduction of protective tariffs is not particularly popular among Americans: in surveys, only about a third of the population supports Trump's protectionist policy. But attitudes toward the state of their economy have begun to improve - the pessimism of April and May is beginning to go away.

Trump can ultimately tell his base that he really did try to revolutionize trade. But the judicial deep state has once again thwarted it.

Some tariffs of 10-15% will, of course, remain in force. Import prices will rise slightly, and individual industries inside America will earn money from this.

But a radical break in the US economic development trends that could really lead to an acute crisis will not happen.

The inertia of development in today's America is such that even non-systemic politicians like Trump are unable to overcome it.

    Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Punishment for Two: How the USSR Helped Israel in the Trial of the 'Architect of the Holocaust'
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
    by Denis Davydov

[REGNUM] Shortly before midnight on May 31, 1962, Adolf Eichmann, former head of the "Jewish Department" of the Reich Main Security Office, was executed in Israel on the verdict of a court for crimes against humanity and the Jewish people.

His body was burned, the ashes were scattered over the Mediterranean Sea - so that no trace of the killer would remain. But when he was still alive, caught in Argentina and illegally taken to Israel for investigation and trial, the noise around the person of the "architect of the Holocaust" did not subside. The Soviet press incessantly branded the Israelis, accusing them of the same policy that the Nazis had pursued and of ties with the FRG, where former Nazis also came to power.

The main target of the attack, in particular, was Hans Globke, State Secretary and Director of the Administration of Chancellor Konrad Adenauer, who held the post of legal adviser to the Ministry of the Interior under the Nazi regime.

On June 9, 1960, Komsomolskaya Pravda even published an article about some kind of panic that had gripped official Bonn, where Globke was mentioned for the first time. And later, the emphasis was on the fact that Adenauer was trying to hush up this matter and not give it publicity due to unpleasant circumstances.

Israel is mentioned only in one context: in the last two weeks of June 1960, the UN Security Council discussed at several sessions Argentina's complaint about the violation of its sovereignty during the kidnapping of Eichmann.

The Israeli secret service carried out its special operation without informing anyone. So, when the debates began in the Security Council, this situation was carefully covered by the central press. Pravda, for example, cited lengthy quotes from the speech of the then Israeli Foreign Minister Golda Meir and from the speech of the Soviet representative to the UN Arkady Sobolev.

The newspaper did not limit itself to excerpts from Sobolev's speech about the right of any country to punish Nazi criminals, but harshly criticized Western states, accusing them of harboring former Nazis.

In general, the country of the Soviets had its own concept, and it carefully adhered to it, in every way demonstrating disapproval of any actions of Israel, with which it was at daggers drawn by that time. After all, the Soviet Union, as is known, played a significant role in the Arab-Israeli conflict, supporting and arming the Arabs - right up until the final rupture of diplomatic relations in 1967 after the Six-Day War.

So Eichmann's role in the extermination of the Jews was downplayed in every possible way, the emphasis was on the death of Soviet citizens at the hands of the Nazis, regardless of nationality. And the trial itself was viewed with great skepticism: they were judging the wrong people, the wrong people, etc.

Moreover, the key role of Eichmann in the “final solution to the Jewish question” was already discussed during the Nuremberg Trials in 1946. Now it was necessary to find out whether this “minor boss” was a scapegoat, as he stated during interrogations in Israel.

The USSR did not cease to emphasize its emotional interest in this case, the main figure of which was responsible for the deaths of millions of citizens of the USSR. And in the context of the discussion of the "conspiracy" between Israel and the FRG, the Zionist movement was accused of collaborating with the Nazis for the first time. The magazine "New Time" even expressed surprise: how could a Nazi criminal appear before a court in a country where racial segregation is practiced and the rights of Arabs are violated.

Similar accusations were also made against Western countries, since their citizens are pursuing racist policies against the peoples of Asia and Africa, and are therefore no better than Eichmann.

Accordingly, the Soviet side publicly ignored Israeli requests for information that could help in conducting the process.

"An official request on this matter was submitted to the Soviet Foreign Ministry on June 27, 1960 (preliminary negotiations had first taken place in early June). The Israeli Embassy in Moscow repeated the request in December of the same year. Both requests remained unanswered. The official explanation was that "all the required materials had already been provided during the Nuremberg trials."

Unofficially, Soviet representatives explained their reluctance to cooperate with Israel by the fact that providing such assistance could deprive the Soviet Union of its glory as a liberating country and help Israel acquire a reputation as a fighter against Nazism,” writes Anatoly Kantorovich in a scientific article for the collection of the Yad Vashem National Memorial.

    And he is wrong.

The documents stored in the SBU branch archive contain a letter signed by the 1st Deputy Chairman of the State Security Committee under the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR Boris Shulzhenko, dated September 19, 1960.

It states that in connection with the preparation of the trial in Israel, “ the Presidium of the Central Committee of the CPSU instructed the State Security Committee […] together with the USSR Prosecutor’s Office and the Main Archival Administration under the Council of Ministers of the USSR to prepare materials incriminating Eichmann in crimes against humanity, for subsequent publication of these materials in the press.”

Judging by the form, the letter was sent to all heads of regional departments of the Ukrainian KGB, who were asked to organize a search for materials and witnesses. And if any were found, "to prepare and submit proposals on the advisability of sending them to Israel to testify in the trial."

Thus, while the official press accused the Israeli government of maintaining economic ties with the FRG, “whose hands are stained with Jewish blood,” mutually beneficial work was being carried out at an unofficial level.

Unfortunately, there is no access to the collected materials yet and no one has done this on purpose, but it is obvious that the understanding of the importance of punishing an inconspicuous bureaucrat who was responsible for the extermination of Jews in the Reich was the same among (seemingly) irreconcilable political opponents.

After all, it was he who herded people into ghettos, formed the trains that went to the extermination camps; he commissioned the development of transportation schedules and train timetables; he, visiting Auschwitz and Majdanek, adjusted the technology of mass murder of people and ensured the full use of the capacity of the gas chambers.

Eichmann was not a natural sadist, he did not personally kill or torture anyone. He was a model bureaucrat, doing his job at his desk and did not feel guilty. And during interrogations he constantly repeated that his area of responsibility ended at the camp gates. Selection for forced labor, murder and burning of corpses were not his area of expertise: "I am not a monster at all. I am a victim of mistakes and errors."

It was precisely that the man who lived quietly in Argentina under the name Ricardo Clemente had participated in the planning of mass extermination from the very beginning that was proven at the trial in Israel. So the retribution that overtook him concerned not only Jews, but people of all nationalities who met their death in the millstones of a huge crime machine.

The fact that the model Nazi was interrogated by Israeli police captain Avner Less, whose father and a dozen of his relatives Eichmann had sent to the gas chambers at Auschwitz, gave this retribution a sense of completeness and finality – as did the fact that the Argentine special operation involved volunteers who had also lost loved ones.

And millions of people who followed the trial had the opportunity to assess the extent of their readiness to carry out the orders of the political regime – the value of this understanding remains relevant to this day.

But then the Eichmann trial set in motion other processes.

In the USSR, public debate about the Babi Yar massacre began after the publication in September 1961 of Yevgeny Yevtushenko's poem of the same name, based on which the composer Dmitry Shostakovich composed a symphony. The poem was translated into 72 languages and made Yevtushenko world famous.

And the state continued its series of open trials of German collaborators: criticizing others, they showed how it should be done - since 1943 there were 19 of them, the rest of the trials were closed. Thus, in 1959-1965, four public trials were held in Krasnodar, in particular, a month and a half after Eichmann's execution, the punishers from the Radom SS command, hiding in different cities of the Union, were convicted (six to death, three to 15 years of imprisonment).

And from October 10 to 24, 1963, the case of nine traitors who served in the notorious SS-10A Sonderkommando was heard. After the Nazis retreated, it was relocated to Belarus, where it was reorganized into a “Caucasian company,” and subsequently carried out punitive activities on the territory of Poland.

According to the verdict of the tribunal, six of the convicted were shot.

Of course, none of these people were as famous as the head of the IV B 4 RSHA department, even if we were talking about such a seasoned beast as the chief of staff of the 118th Schutzmannschaft battalion Grigory Vasyura, who supervised the execution of residents of the Belarusian village of Khatyn. This one, by the way, showed himself by demanding the jubilee Order of the Patriotic War in 1985 as a distinguished veteran.

But the main message that was broadcast outward was a general one: no matter what the current political situation in the world, no one will escape punishment.

The number of people wishing to go on Hajj from Ingushetia has exceeded the number of vouchers
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The cost of the Hajj for pilgrims from Ingushetia in 2025 increased by one hundred dollars due to the rise in the cost of living in Saudi Arabia. This year, 1,441 people from the republic went on a pilgrimage to Mecca, but not everyone who wanted to could get to Mecca.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", the first group of 180 pilgrims departed from the airport in Magas for the Hajj to Saudi Arabia on May 25. 90% of the free Hajj vouchers allocated to Ingushetia by Suleiman Kerimov  were distributed  among the families of the SVO participants. Commentators on the social network emphasized that the families of the fighters who signed the contract in other regions were left without vouchers, while other users believed that priority should have been given to the poor.

Hajj is a pilgrimage to the Muslim holy sites in Mecca, and is one of  the five main pillars of Islam=. Every Muslim who has reached adulthood and has the opportunity to do so is required to perform the hajj at least once in their life. The pilgrimage to Mecca usually takes place at the beginning of the 12th month of the Muslim lunar calendar and ends with the feast of sacrifice,  Eid al-Adha. In addition, there is the so-called "small hajj" - Umrah.

In 2024, the cost of the Hajj for believers from Ingushetia increased by $100 compared to last year. The main reason for the increase was changes in hotel prices in Saudi Arabia,  Adam Merzhoev, a representative of the Hajj Committee of the Republic, told  a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"The cost of the Hajj this year is $5,600 for a direct flight and $4,900 for a combined flight. Last year it was $5,500 and $4,800, respectively," he said.

According to Merzhoev, the increase in prices is connected not only with the increase in hotel prices, but also with changes in logistics and exchange rate fluctuations. "The price-forming factors are hotels, especially in Mecca, as well as transfers and flights," he said.

The quota for Ingushetia was increased this year. Initially, the republic was allocated 1,300 places, but after an appeal to the relevant authorities, an additional 142 places were provided. In total, 1,442 pilgrims from the Republic planned to go to Hajj this year.

"There were more applicants than quota places. We even kept a reserve list, but, unfortunately, we were unable to satisfy all applications," the Committee representative noted.

Of the pilgrims registered to participate in the Hajj, all but one flew out. "One pilgrim died before the flight. May Allah have mercy on him," Merzhoev said. Thus, 1,441 people arrived in Mecca, and 12 staff members-organizers were added to them, the source said.

There are two programs available for pilgrims this year - a direct route and a combined route. The bulk of the pilgrims took a direct flight from Magas Airport. One group of 49 people followed a combined route: from Grozny to Dubai, and then by bus to Saudi Arabia.

"On average, there are 45 people in each group. Each group has a guide-alim who accompanies them from the very beginning, consults, explains the procedure for performing the Hajj and other rituals," said a representative of the Hajj committee.

Supreme Court votes 8-0 to Narrow Scope of Environmental Reviews
[SCOTUSblog] The Supreme Court on Thursday unanimously ruled to limit the scope of environmental review required under a seminal 1970s environmental protection law. The move brought a proposed 88-mile railroad line that would transport crude oil from oilfields in northern Utah to refineries on the Gulf Coast one step closer to production. Environmental groups and a neighboring Colorado county had told the justices that the federal agency that approved the project had failed to consider its broader environmental costs.

In ruling for the railroad, the justices sketched out a relatively narrow role for courts reviewing future decisions under the National Environmental Policy Act, the landmark environmental law at the center of the case. Emphasizing that the “goal of the law is to inform agency decisionmaking, not to paralyze it,” Justice Brett Kavanagh explained that courts should give “substantial deference” to the agency’s determination as to what should be included in the environmental impact statement prepared for a project. “In deciding cases involving the American economy,” Kavanaugh concluded, “courts should strive, where possible, for clarity and predictability.”

Hamas expected to answer US-backed cease-fire proposal with Israel: report
    [NYPOST] Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
responded Saturday to the US cease-fire proposal with a bevy of new conditions, which were swiftly ripped by special envoy Steve Witkoff as ''totally unacceptable.''

The terror group's demands effectively stalled negotiations on the 60-day truce by demanding that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu consider a permanent cease-fire after an initial release of hostages, along with the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
. Hamas also demanded unrestricted humanitarian aid pour into the region.

If a permanent truce is not reached within 60 days, Hamas also wanted to halt the Jewish State from resuming fighting, according to the outlet. And they seemed interested in a longer timeline to conduct hostage and prisoner exchanges with Israel.

''I received the Hamas response to the United States' proposal. It is totally unacceptable and only takes us backward,'' Witkoff posted on X. ''Hamas should accept the framework proposal we put forward as the basis for proximity talks, which we can begin immediately this coming week.''

Without accepting the initial framework, Witkoff — whose plan didn't include a permanent cease-fire or full withdrawal — cautioned that a lasting peace would remain out of reach.

''That is the only way we can close a 60-day ceasefire deal in the coming days in which half of the living hostages and half of those who are deceased will come home to their families and in which we can have — substantive negotiations in good-faith to try to reach a permanent ceasefire,'' he said.

The most recent cease-fire proposal pitched Thursday by Witkoff calls for a 60-day truce as well as the release of the 10 living Israeli hostages and the bodies of 18 deceased captives.

The deal would also prompt the release of 125 Paleostinian Lions of Islam serving life sentences in Israel and 1,111 more from Gaza who have been detained since the war broke out on Oct. 7, 2023, following Hamas' massacre of 1,200 Israelis.

Another 180 bodies of dead Paleostinians in Israel would also be returned under the terms of the proposal.

It marked the second attempt by Witkoff to halt the fighting in Gaza.
The Times of Israel has the play-by-play:
Terror group seeks amendments regarding ‘US guarantees, timing of hostage release, delivery of aid, withdrawal of Israeli forces’; Israel says it sees the edits as a rejection

    Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
on Saturday responded to US special envoy Steve Witkoff’s latest proposal for a hostage and ceasefire deal in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. with amendments and demands, leading the mediator to blast the stance as one that is "totally unacceptable and only takes us backward."

A Hamas official, speaking to the News Agency that Dare Not be Named on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the talks, said proposed amendments focused on "US guarantees, the timing of hostage release, the delivery of aid and the withdrawal of Israeli forces."

A source directly involved in the negotiations told The Times of Israel that Hamas’s response included a demand that would make it more difficult for Israel to resume fighting if talks on a permanent ceasefire are not completed by the end of the 60-day truce. The updated proposal submitted by Hamas envisions the release of the 10 hostages being spread out more throughout the 60-day truce, rather than in two batches on the first and seventh day, as the US offer envisioned. The source said this change was aimed at preventing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from abandoning talks on a permanent ceasefire after the 10 hostages are released or refusing to engage in the talks altogether, as he did during the previous ceasefire in January.

An Israeli official told The Times of Israel that Hamas had also requested a ceasefire lasting up to seven years.

Witkoff said: "Hamas should accept the framework proposal we put forward as the basis for proximity talks, which we can begin immediately this coming week."

He added: "That is the only way we can close a 60-day ceasefire deal in the coming days, in which half of the living hostages and half of those who are deceased will come home to their families, and in which we can have at the proximity talks substantive negotiations in good faith to try to reach a permanent ceasefire."

The Witkoff proposal stipulates that the parties would have to reach an agreement on the parameters of Israel’s partial withdrawal from Gaza during the 60-day truce. It also provides for further negotiations during the truce on a potential settlement to end the war.

An Israeli official told news hounds on condition of anonymity that Jerusalem was treating Hamas’s response to the proposal as an "effective rejection."

The latest US proposal was sent to Hamas earlier this week after Israel’s lead negotiator, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, signed off on it.

Arab mediators are still working with the group to soften some of the edits it demanded, a source involved in the process told The Times of Israel.

In a statement on Saturday, Hamas said it seeks a permanent ceasefire and a comprehensive Israeli withdrawal from Gaza — demands the Israeli government has largely rejected at this stage — and an ensured flow of aid.

In its own response to Hamas, the Prime Minister’s Office said: "While Israel has agreed to the updated Witkoff framework for the release of our hostages, Hamas continues to cling to its refusal."

Echoing Witkoff’s statement, the PMO said, "It is unacceptable and sets the process back."

"Israel will continue its efforts to bring our hostages home and to defeat Hamas," it said.

Channel 12 reported that Israeli officials involved in talks told families of hostages on Saturday that, if carried out, the Witkoff proposal would ultimately lead to the release of all hostages held by Hamas, and would not be only a partial deal for some of the hostages.

There are currently 58 hostages held in Gaza, including the bodies of at least 35 confirmed dead by the IDF, and 20 hostages who are believed to be alive. There are grave concerns for the well-being of three others, Israeli officials have said.

On Friday, US President Donald Trump
...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down...
had said that mediators were "very close" to reaching a deal between Israel and Hamas. "We’ll let you know about it during the day or maybe tomorrow, and we have a chance of that," Trump told news hounds in the Oval Office.

Asked later Friday if he thought Hamas would accept the proposal, Trump said, "I think they want to — they want to get out of that mess."

Sources familiar with the negotiations told The Times of Israel that Hamas was disappointed with the proposal, since it still gives Israel the option to resume fighting at the end of the temporary truce.

While Netanyahu told hostage families on Thursday that he was principally supportive of the deal on the table, he has yet to bring it before the cabinet to be approved, and several far-right members of his coalition have come out against it.

Defense Minister Israel Katz said Friday that Hamas must agree to the proposal or be destroyed. "The Hamas murderers will now be forced to choose: accept the terms of the ’Witkoff Deal’ for the release of the hostages — or be annihilated," he said.

Israel has repeatedly said that the destruction of the terror group is a key aim of the war.

Negotiations to end nearly 20 months of war in Gaza have so far failed to achieve a breakthrough, with Israel resuming operations in March following a short-lived truce. Conditions on the ground for Gaza’s civilians are dire, with the United Nations
...an organization which on balance has done more bad than good, with the good not done well and the bad done thoroughly...
warning that the entire population is at risk of famine.

According to a copy of Witkoff’s latest proposal, the authenticity of which was confirmed to The Times of Israel by two sources familiar with the negotiations, Hamas would release 10 living Israeli hostages held in Gaza and return the bodies of 18 deceased hostages during a 60-day ceasefire. In return, Israel would release 125 Paleostinian terror convicts serving life sentences, 1,111 Gazooks detained since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, and 180 bodies of Paleostinians currently held by Israel. The IDF would also pull back from some areas where troops are currently deployed; the parameters of the pullback would be finalized "during proximity negotiations."

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar declared on Saturday that Hamas is responsible for the continuation of the war.

"Hamas initiated this war with the 7/10 massacre [and] is responsible for its continuation by refusing to release our hostages and disarm," Sa’ar wrote in an English-language post on X.

"If La Belle France and the UK want to reach a ceasefire, pressure should be put on Hamas that continues to say No, instead of attacking Israel, which says Yes," he added, referring to the increasing criticism from Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
    over the war.

Senior Hamas official insists group didn’t reject Witkoff’s offer, decries ‘complete bias’ toward Israel
[IsraelTimes] Senior Hamas official Basem Naim tells Reuters that the terror group did not reject the ceasefire and hostage deal proposal presented by US special envoy Steve Witkoff.
Technically true — the words “We reject it,” were not spoken. Their counterproposal, however, is insulting.
Instead, he insists, Israel’s response to Witkoff’s proposal was incompatible with what the group agreed on.

He adds that Witkoff’s position toward the terror group is “unfair” and shows “complete bias” toward Israel.

IDF says dozens of strikes hit terror sites across Gaza; Hamas authorities say 60 killed

Strip throughout the weekend, including terror operatives and infrastructure used by Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
, the Israel Defense Forces said.

According to Hamas authorities in Gaza, 60 people were killed and dozens more were maimed in the strikes. The terror group’s figures do not differentiate between civilians and combatants.

The IDF said a dronezap on Friday in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood killed a prominent Hamas operative involved in manufacturing weapons, and in a separate incident on Friday, soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade spotted a cell of four armed operatives and eliminated them. The paratroopers also located and destroyed several bombs that had been planted in their area of operations, the IDF added.

    Meanwhile,
...back at the desert island, Irene was indignant at the thought of doing such a thing without benefit of clergy...
rockets were launched from southern Gaza toward Israel on Saturday, setting off alarms in the border communities of Nirim and Ein Hashlosha, the military said. The rockets landed in open areas near the communities, and no injuries or damages were reported.

On Saturday evening, the IDF reissued a wide evacuation warning for the entire Rafah and Khan Younis area in the southern Strip. It called for Paleostinians residing in areas marked on a map in red to evacuate westward toward the Mawasi area on the coast. The latest order covers much of the same areas previously ordered to evacuate in March and earlier this month.

    A MESSAGE TO GAZANS
On Saturday, the Defense Ministry’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) issued a message to Gazooks after a video posted to social media on Friday showed a Paleostinian in the Strip criticizing Hamas leadership.

"Residents of Gaza, the Hamas leadership has sold you out. This is the same leadership that deceived you. Instead of focusing on caring for the civilian population, it abandoned its people, while big shots abroad indulge in luxury on airplanes, in hotels, and in restaurants," COGAT chief Maj. Gen. Ghassan Alian said in a Facebook post, where he attached an edited version of the social media video with subtitles. The full context of the clip was unclear.

Israel has been attempting to drive a wedge between Hamas and the Paleostinian civilian population in Gaza to weaken the terror group’s hold on the Strip.

On Friday, an Israeli defense official asserted that Hamas’s rule in Gaza was slipping as a new aid distribution system ramped up activities.

    However,
there's more than one way to stuff a chicken...
the new system, which is being run by the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, has been criticized for not sufficiently addressing the population’s nutritional needs and for the chaos that has repeatedly erupted at its distribution points.

Paleostinian media reports on Saturday said over 100 UN World Food Programme trucks loaded with flour were looted in the Khan Younis area. According to the Ynet news site, the flour was only set to be distributed on Sunday. In video footage on social media, gunfire could be heard at the scene, but there were no immediate reports of injuries. A separate incident posted on social media appeared to show a crowd of Gazooks running toward a distribution site to grab boxes of aid.
…someone shouting, “Allahu akhbar,” not exactly the behaviour of grateful recipients of generosity…

A GHF spokesperson downplayed the footage, asserting that the scene was relatively calm and that a certain level of chaos is expected at the current time, due to the hunger levels in Gaza. According to the GHF, its contractors running the site allowed Paleostinians to take boxes themselves, while helping those in need, and the hope is to soon transition to a more orderly process when desperation in Gaza dies down.

    -Lurid Crime Tales-
Florida mom accused of killing son in bid to ''exorcise demons''
[NYPOST] A Florida mother allegedly killed her 6-year-old son during a twisted attempt to ''exorcise demons'' from his body — with police discovering the boy's decaying remains 12 days later.

Police found little Ra'myl Pierre, dead in his bed Friday at the family's Fort Pierce home, after school officials reported the boy had been absent for more than two weeks, the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office said.

Rhonda Paulynice was arrested the same day, authorities said.

The boy's official cause and time of death are pending an autopsy.

''What we did learn in speaking with the mother is she believes she was being told by God to basically exorcise demons out of the child's body,'' Sheriff Richard Del Toro said during a news conference.

''And when the child had stopped moving and basically passed away, at that point she felt that the child had been released from those demons, and was waiting for him to basically come back, at that time.''

The disturbed mother, 41, spent the nearly two weeks before her son's decomposing body was found flooding social media with cryptic and obsessive religious posts, her Facebook showed.

Del Toro said the trouble woman exhibited erratic mood swings, shifting between laughing and crying, as Sherlocks searched the eerie Bedford Drive home.

''Being a parent, being out on a scene like that, seeing a 6-year-old child that was killed for no other reasons other than just someone being purely evil, it's hard,'' he added.

    Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Hamas' cease-fire ''counteroffer'' is a demand for Israel to give up the war
    [NYPOST] Hamas
..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,...
on Saturday announced it had ''responded to'' the latest ceasefire proposal from US envoy Steve Witkoff, apparently seeking assurances that Israel won't simply go back to eliminating it when the 60-day pause is up.

Reality check: The bully boyz are only talking because they're losing, badly — losing whatever support they had from ordinary Gazooks as well as militarily.

Hamas' main hope is to somehow manipulate Team Trump's peace efforts into a license to survive — to somehow have the war end with it intact in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
, still in power and with its sponsors and enablers again resupplying it.

To that end, it aims to leverage President Donald Trump
    ...The Hero of Butler, Pennsylvania...
's hopes to end the bloodshed as well as:

  • Israeli public opinion, include the deep desire to recover the 20 or so still living hostages as well as the remains of the dozens who've died in captivity, plus general war-weariness and partisan opposition to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his coalition

  • Sympathy for its other hostages: Gaza's 2 million civilians. Hamas has never cared a whit for their lives or well-being, except as potential recruits, human shields and reason for an influx of aid that the bully boyz can siphon off for their use. It will happily martyr any or all of them for the cause of destroying Israel — even as it pretends to make concessions in their name to serve its true agenda.

  • Its de facto fifth column all across the West, including the ''tentifada'' fanatics and fools on Columbia and other campuses, and all the politicians and media figures who buy the terrorists' propaganda.

  • The dogged self-deception of the international ''grinding of the peace processor'' veterans, still imagining that a ''two-state solution'' is the key to resolving all the region's conflicts — an ''answer'' that's now a complete fantasy that disregards every development of the last three decades.

  • Arab rulers' inability to simply abandon decades of anti-Israel propaganda even though they (mostly) recognize it no longer serves their most urgent needs.

Israel's current offensive has already taken out hundreds more Hamas fighters and yet another round of leadership, including the last Sinwar. The IDF is poised to take full control of Gaza, clear the final bunkers and tunnels and crush the remaining terror brigades.

And Jerusalem has cut off Hamas' resupply, refusing to allow aid to enter Gaza without firm controls that ensure it goes straight to civilians.

Not allowing the bully boyz to capture it — and to charge civilians for access to any of it — has helped turn the tide of public opinion: Ordinary Gazooks increasingly know the war continues only because Hamas won't surrender or even negotiate a departure of its remaining forces.

Witkoff's latest offer would have Hamas turn over 10 living hostages and a dozen or two bodies, in exchange for 125 bully boyz serving life sentences plus another 1,000-plus jailbirds and a 60-day ceasefire and ongoing talks toward a full peace settlement.

But Hamas knows full well that Netanyahu won't end the war until the bully boyz are all dead, surrendered or expelled from Gaza: He refuses to allow for any possibility of another Oct. 7, and Israeli public opinion so far supports him.

So the terror group's counteroffer is to demand some kind of guarantee that Washington won't let the IDF resume operations when the 60 days are up, as well as the resumption of aid entering under UN or similar auspices, without Israeli controls.

A car plowed into pedestrians on Cours Jean-Jaurès in Grenoble, France
    [PUBLISH.TWITTER]

MSN tells the tale in more detail:
A shocking incident has left four people, including two teenagers, hospitalised after a car ploughed into them following the celebration of Paris Saint-Germain's victory in the Champions League.

The horrifying event unfolded on Saturday, May 31, on Cours Jean-Jaurés in Grenoble, France, when a BMW 1 Series driver, speeding along the central tramway tracks towards Echirolles, attempted a handbrake U-turn at the intersection of Avenue Alsace-Lorraine.
    Idiot.
In the process, he struck down four pedestrians:
    Unexpectedly.
two lads aged 17 and two women, aged 23 and 46, all from the same family. The driver reportedly abandoned his motor and fled the scene, fearing retaliation from the crowd.

However, he handed himself over to the police a few minutes later and was promptly taken into custody. Two women and one of the teenagers sustained critical injuries, while the other teenager is believed to be less severely hurt.

Approximately 30 firefighters and a team from the emergency medical services (SAMU 38) were dispatched to the scene to assist the victims, reports the Mirror. All were treated and transported to the Grenoble Alpes University Hospital for further care.

"A vehicle apparently lost control, hitting four people, two of whom were seriously injured," Grenoble officials told the AfP agency.

Shocking videos of the aftermath showed large crowds of people standing around in horror as the four family members lay stricken on the ground. Others showed panicked PSG supporters running in terror from the incident.

Grenoble police officers faced hostility from groups throwing stones and bottles at them during their intervention. The police had to retaliate with tear gas grenades to push them back.
This early report says nothing about whether the driver is a jihadi or merely a dangerous idiot, but the hostile crowd thingy is very much a mark of Moslem colonists in French “suburb” enclaves. I know nothing about the Cours Jean-Jaurès area in Grenoble, but that’s my guess. Car-b-ques next?
Meanwhile, across France, football supporters have caused chaos for law enforcement, with around 300 arrests in Paris alone as celebrations turned to riots. Scores of vehicles were burned across the capital while crowds through objects and fireworks at police.

Interesting background from the Times of Israel at 9:20 a.m. EDT:
PSG soccer fans unfurl banner urging end to ‘genocide in Gaza’ at Champions League final

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) supporters displayed a banner saying “Stop genocide in Gaza” during the soccer Champions League final on Saturday.

They raised it shortly after Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring in a 5-0 rout of his former side Inter Milan. Some PSG fans also held Palestinian scarves and flags during the game.

PSG fans are known for their anti-Israel stance regarding the war in Gaza. They previously displayed a giant banner saying “Free Palestine” in November during the Champions League match against Atlético Madrid.

The latest banner was likely to lead to disquiet among local German authorities in Munich. Munich’s city hall displays an Israeli flag as well as a Ukrainian one, and German support for Israel is strong for historical reasons.

PSG could also face a fine. UEFA bans the use of gestures, words, objects or any other means to transmit a provocative message that is judged not fit for a sports event, particularly provocative messages that are of a political, ideological, religious or offensive nature.

Financial penalties are typical for a first offense, usually 10,000 euros ($10,700) for a political banner or disturbances.

‘Gaza has won, and Gaza will win’: Arab MK’s speech at anti-war rally draws outrage
[IsraelTimes] Odeh, the leader of the predominantly Arab Hadash-Ta’al Knesset party, said at an anti-war rally in Haifa on Saturday that “Gaza has won, and Gaza will win,” drawing condemnation from the right wing.

“Israel has become a pariah state across the world, among all nations and in the West. After more than 600 days [of war], a majority among both peoples says: ‘If only those days had never happened,'” Odeh told the crowd. “It’s a historic loss to the right-wing ideology that was crushed in Gaza. Gaza won, and Gaza will win.”

    According to Haaretz,
…which for some reason prides itself on being the New York Times of Israel…
about 2,000 people attended the left-wing rally, including representatives from 20 peace organizations.
Or in real numbers, probably somewhere between 200 and 1000. And thus we have achieved the entire point of posting this article.
“The [Benjamin] Netanyahu government has normalized the war, and we will normalize the opposition to it,” he continued. “This demonstration marks a turning point in the struggle to end the war, both in the number of participants
    …ie. not many….
and in the sharpened political messages.”
    …ie. stupid.
Odeh also addressed the weekly anti-government protesters calling for a hostage-ceasefire deal.

Rallies call for hostage deal as Israel, Hamas continue to wrangle over terms

    , as Hamas
..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
delivered its response to a US-backed proposal that Israel has agreed to in principle.

The terror group was seeking changes to the latest American offer, making it unlikely that an agreement between the sides would be imminent.

Earlier in the day, the Kibbutz Movement led a tractor convoy to Tel Aviv to mark the holiday of Shavuot — a festival closely tied to agricultural communities — while calling for the return of the 58 hostages still in the Strip. The convoy ended at Hostages Square outside the Tel Aviv Museum. The movement was deeply impacted by the October 7 attack, in which many kibbutz residents were killed and kidnapped.

The main rally began at 8 p.m. at Hostages Square, organized by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, where relatives of captives and others addressed the crowd. Speakers included Yaniv Yaakov, the brother of Yair Yakaov who was killed on October 7 and whose body is still held by Hamas; Lishay Miran-Lavi, wife of hostage Omri Miran; Rivka Bohbot, wife of hostage Elkana Bohbot; Sharon Alony Cunio, a survivor of Hamas captivity and wife of hostage David Cunio; Alon Nimrodi, father of hostage Tamir Nimrodi; Yehuda Cohen, father of hostage Nimrod Cohen; Shimon Buskila, father of Yarden Buskila who was murdered at the Nova music festival; and Lior Simcha, secretary general of the Kibbutz Movement.

Similar demonstrations were held in Jerusalem, Haifa, Beersheba, Herzliya, and other cities around the country.

The protests come amid renewed diplomatic efforts to secure a hostage release agreement, and days after rallies around the country marked 600 days of captivity for the hostages.

KP CM intervenes after student tortured to death in school
[GEO.TV] Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, on Saturday, took notice of the incident wherein a fifth-grade student allegedly died due to corporal punishment by a private school principal in Jamrud and asked for a detailed report on the matter.

The incident took place during the morning assembly over a minor issue. Police registered the case, and further investigation is ongoing.

    Meanwhile,
...back at the palazzo, Count Guido had escaped from his bonds and overwhelmed his guard using the bludgeon the faithful Filomena had smuggled to him in the loaf of bread...
the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Private School Regulatory Authority has issued directions to all private schools to strictly enforce the ban on corporal punishment within schools.

The CM ordered the authority to conduct an impartial and transparent inquiry and submit a report, stating that if the allegations were proven to be true, the government would take strict action against the culprit.

While condemning the incident, Gandapur said violence against children in educational institutions was a serious crime under the law and those responsible for it deserved no leniency.

He also stressed that effective measures should be taken to prevent such incidents of violence against children in schools, assuring that justice would be provided to the victim's parents.

Through letters, the KP private schools regulatory authority reminded the heads of private schools that corporal punishment is prohibited in private schools, instructing them to ensure implementation of this ban.

Furthermore, it was also mentioned in the letter that those found guilty may face up to six months in jail or a fine of 50,000 rupees.

    -Lurid Crime Tales-
Notorious antisemite Glenn Greenwald has sex video with male prostitute leaked just after he appeared on Tucker Carlson spreading conspiracy theories.
    [X]

The timing here was exquisite. Directly after traitor Greenwald appeared on Tucker Carlson's podcast. on Carlson's show he said Israel + Mossad is spying on America, and controls the CIA and government.

Mossad motto: "It's never a coincidence."

Glenn Greenwald has got to disappear. He is causing active harm and personalities like Tucker Carlson keep platforming his antisemitic conspiracy theories.

He endorsed RT's propaganda and Osama bin Laden's infamous "Letter to America" which was so vile that even Al-Guardian removed it off their website after it started trending in TikTok. No platform for antisemites.

Let's remember who Greenwald's friends are: traitor Snowden, traitor Assange, bin Laden (fine, he's not a traitor), the list of disgusting personalities just goes on and on.

He's such a raging America First patriot that he lives in Brazil. He's a gay man, just like all those gay men who ruined treasured institutions like the Boy Scouts.
He doesn’t seem the Boy Scout type, at least not the camping and things.

#1  ....On the one hand, Greenwald's right: two people in their private lives, indulging in consensual behavior.

On the other hand, Greenwald appears to have never heard the rule: if you are in a position like Mr. Greenwald's, don't do things that you don't want to see on the news.

#3  I am part way through the Tucker video. I have not seen Greenwald say anything inaccurate so far. I don’t intend to watch the other tape. Greenwald seems to believe that that the Israeli uses intelligence ops to influence American policy. I consider myself to be a supporter of Israel, but I certainly don’t support this type of leak. If the Mossad or CIA, for that matter, was pimping out kids as part of Epstein’s operation, I will look for them to be held accountable.

#9  Greenwald fan of Bin Laden? What did I miss?

Anyone else throwing a big F-U over the USS Liberty? What are the odds Epstein's honey pot wasn't Mossad?

#10  Greendale was born Jewish. Antisemite? I guess it can happen but it comes across as self-loathing. Kind of like Americans who hate America.

#11  Mr, Greenwald acknowledged Jewish ethnicity, but appears to have avoided both the faith and the community. Self-hating Jew is the usual description for a Jewish antisemite.
