[FOX] A suburban Chicago city has revoked the special permit for an upcoming gay pride parade over security staffing concerns following a spat in which local authorities were told that police officers would not be allowed to march in uniform.
The group running the Aurora Pride Parade had been working with the Aurora Police Department to come up with a safety plan for the privately-run event, but a police spokesperson told Fox Chicago the department couldn't make it work.
The city said organizers had failed to meet the required number of law enforcement officers to secure the event.
"Based on the inability of the Aurora Pride board to retain the number of law enforcement officers required to ensure the public health and welfare of participants and spectators the Aurora Pride Parade (70% of which were already provided by the Aurora Police Department), and on the recommendation from the Aurora Police Department that the parade cannot be held without satisfying these safety requirements, the City of Aurora has issued a Notice of Revocation to Aurora Pride," the city said in a statement.

[IsraelTimes] Amid global tensions with the West over its nuclear activity, Iran’s atomic agency chief announced that it has begun injecting gas into newly installed advanced uranium enrichment centrifuges.
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami, who made the announcement during an interview with Iranian national TV on Thursday, claimed the decision was in line with international regulations.
Eslami did not specify where the centrifuges in question were located. But his announcement came on the same day the UN’s nuclear watchdog reported that Tehran had informed it of its plan to install two new cascades of advanced centrifuges at the underground Natanz nuclear facility that will allow it to rapidly enrich more uranium.
The moves come as countries at an ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency meeting in Vienna voted Wednesday night to censure Iran. The rebuke deals with what the watchdog refers to as Iran’s failure to provide "credible information" over man-made nuclear material found at three undeclared sites in the country.
But even before the vote, Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites.... shut off two devices the IAEA uses to monitor enrichment at Natanz. Then, on Thursday, the IAEA reported that Iran is removing 27 surveillance cameras from nuclear sites around the country, raising the risk of its inspectors being unable to track Tehran’s advances as it enriches uranium closer than ever to weapons-grade levels.
Rafael Mariano Grossi, the IAEA director-general, warned that in three to four weeks, it would be unable to maintain a "continuity of knowledge" about Iran’s program. "This would be a fatal blow" to negotiations over Iran’s tattered nuclear deal with world powers, Grossi said.
Iranian officials also threatened to take more steps amid a years-long crisis.
"In the last 20 years, all the methods, behaviors, psychological operations, sanctions, and resolutions that they have exercised and imposed have been in line with the policy of stopping the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran," Eslami said during Thursday’s interview regarding the IAEA censure.
"It is regrettable that an international institution has been exploited by an illegitimate regime and its reputation has been destroyed," he said, accusing the UN agency of being "hostage to the Zionist regime."
Asked about the decision to disconnect the IAEA monitoring devices, Eslami said: "We kept the cameras in place in accordance with the [nuclear deal] to show our goodwill, but now that false and unacceptable accusations have been made against Tehran, the recent decision was made."
Iran and world powers agreed in 2015 to the nuclear deal, which saw Tehran drastically limit its enrichment of uranium in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions. Talks in Vienna over Iran’s tattered nuclear deal have been stalled since April. Since the deal’s collapse, Iran has been running advanced centrifuges and has a rapidly growing stockpile of enriched uranium.
Nonproliferation experts warn Iran has enriched enough up to 60 percent purity — a short technical step from weapons-grade levels of 90% — to make one nuclear weapon should it decide to do so.
Iran insists its program is for peaceful purposes, though UN experts and Western intelligence agencies say Iran had an organized military nuclear program through 2003.

The date of the event was the one-year anniversary of the attempted arson at the synagogue, which authorities say was perpetrated by a 45-year-old dual citizen of The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... and Germany. He poured gasoline on the facade and set it ablaze. Rapid intervention by neighbors and firefighters prevented the flames from spreading into the building.
The suspect fled Germany and is hiding in Turkey, which is refusing to extradite him.
T-Deutschland said this week’s demonstration may have been intended to celebrate the arson attempt. The local congregation’s rabbi, Shnuer Trebnik, did not rule out the possibility that the neo-Nazi gathering was to celebrate the actions of the Ottoman Turkishrunaway.
"We experience so many absurdities, it’s possible. They might have a common interest," he told T-Deutschland. Far-right forces of Evil are generally hostile both to Jews and to immigrants colonists from Moslem-majority countries.
Police are investigating the incident outside the synagogue.
In 2021, German authorities recorded 3,027 antisemitic incidents, a 29% increase over the 2,351 incidents recorded in 2020, a report by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution said.
As in previous reports, the government report said that the vast majority of incidents were attributable to neo-Nazis.
Leading watchdogs on antisemitism, including the Berlin-based RIAS, have disputed this assertion, which they say is based on faulty methodology in the government’s reports.

The UK government on Saturday dismissed a Moslemholy man from his role as an official adviser, accusing him of fomenting protests against a new film about the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad.
Alleging "The Lady of Heaven" is blasphemous, Moslem groups protested outside UK movie houses this week, forcing the world’s second-largest cinema chain to cancel all screenings.
Cineworld’s announcement came after Qari Asim, a holy man and lawyer in the northern English city of Leeds, posted on Facebook Monday that the film had "caused much pain and hurt to Moslems."
While noting that his own group had not taken part in protests, and expressing support for freedom of speech, Asim publicized details of one protest in Leeds coming up that evening.
In a letter to Asim, the government said the Facebook post was incompatible with his status as deputy chair of an official working group on anti-Moslem hatred.
Terminating the appointment "with immediate effect," the government said the campaign against the film "has led to street protests which have fomented religious hatred."
"This clear involvement in a campaign to limit free expression is incompatible with the role of a government adviser," it added, alleging the campaign had incited anti-Shiite hatred by Sunnis.
There was no immediate comment from Asim, who also served as an independent advisor to the government on Islamophobia ...the irrational fear that Moslems will act the way they usually do... until his dismissal.

Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar, in a statement, said that 13 FIRs have been filed in the state. 91 people have been arrested in Prayagraj, 71 Saharanpur, 51 in Hathras, 34 in Ambedkarnagar, 34 in Moradabad, 15 in Firozabad, six in Aligarh and two in Jalaun under the stringent National Security Act (NSA).
The Saharanpur cops have already shared clips of teams from the municipal department crushing the homes of the two accused for disrupting peace and social harmony. The clips show the houses of accused Muzammil and Abdul Waqir being razed by the bulldozers claiming that those buildings were illegally constructed, NDTV reported.
"Strictest action will be taken against the anti-social elements involved in the chaotic efforts to spoil the atmosphere in various cities in the past few days," Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a warning said. "There is no place for such anti-social people in a civilised society. No innocent should be harassed, but not a single guilty should be spared," he said on Twitter.

On Friday, people pelted stones at police personnel in Prayagraj and Saharanpur during their protests after Friday prayers in mosques. At least four other cities witnessed similar scenes during the marches that were carried out to protest against the controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad made by now-suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, PTI reported.
In Prayagraj, the mob set on fire a few cycle of violences and carts and also attempted to set ablaze a police vehicle. Police used tear gas and lathis to disperse the protesters and restored peace, police said. One police personnel was injured, they said.
Nupur Sharma was suspended by her party as several Islamic nations denounced her comments on the Prophet during a TV debate.

[Dawn] A Pakistain Army soldier was martyred during an "intense exchange of fire" with Lions of Islam in the Datta Khel area of North Wazoo tribal district, the military's media affairs wing said on Sunday.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the exchange of fire took place between Lions of Islam and Pakistain Army troops during which the latter "fought bravely and effectively engaged the terrorists' location".
However, facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable... Sepoy Shahzaib Imtiaz embraced martyrdom after "having fought gallantly", the ISPR said, adding that he was 25-years-old and a resident of Kotli Sattian.

"Since the start of the year to this day, more than 21 high-profile members of terrorist organizations have been arrested through this coordination and intelligence cooperation between the [Iraqi] counter-terrorism service and the Sulaimani and Erbil counter-terrorism," Sabah al-Numan, spokesperson for the Iraqi CTS told Rudaw’s Rozhan Abubakir.
The services have cooperated together on more than 10 missions this year, according to Numan, adding that the arrestees were captured in the provinces of Sulaimani and Erbil, and were mostly Iraqi nationals.
The spokesperson disagreed with the claim that there has been a spike in ISIS operations in recent months, stating that the Death Eater group has been conducting "small" operations in areas far from the centers of the cities in ways that do not threaten the security of the country "according to our assessment."

[ToloNews] The Islamic Emirate’s security forces in Panjshir province have "tortured" and "unlawfully detained civilians," Human Rights Watch said Friday.
"Taliban ...Arabic for students... security forces in northern Afghanistan's Panjshir province have unlawfully detained and tortured residents accused of association with an opposition gang," said Human Rights Watch.
The report said that security forces detain residents and beat them to glean information about the opposition group, which is "collective punishment."
"Taliban forces in Panjshir province have quickly resorted to beating civilians in their response to fighting against the opposition National Resistance® Front. The Taliban’s longstanding failure to punish those responsible for serious abuses in their ranks puts more civilians at risk," said Patricia Gossman, Associate Asia Director at Human Rights Watch.
"These violations are against human rights ...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty... conventions and separate people from the government," said Aziz Stanekzai, Former Afghan Military.
However, alcohol has never solved anybody's problems. But then, neither has milk... the Islamic Emirate called the report unfounded.
"The allegations of torture and harassment are far from the truth and did not happen in Panjshir province," said Abobakr Sediq, front man for Panjshir’s governor.
Based on the report, a human rights advocate who interviewed several former detainees and a source with direct information about Islamic Emirate detentions spoke to Human Rights Watch about the Panjshir situation.

In recent weeks, about a half-dozen previously unknown "resistance" groups have announced their existence, vowing to fight the Taliban alongside the National Resistance® Front, the only prominent anti-Taliban group.
The new groups have names such as the Afghanistan Freedom Front and the Afghanistan Islamic National & Liberation Movement. But beyond claims made on social media, little is known about their kinetic power.
Researchers who have studied the groups say while they all share the goal of toppling the Taliban’s eight-month-old government, they are hobbled by a lack of unity and coordination.
"It will take some coordination and unity to be able to have a more decisive effect in terms of contesting Taliban governance," said Peter Mills, Afghanistan researcher at the Institute for the Study of War, who recently published a study of anti-Taliban groups.
As a result, the anti-Taliban groups have been unable to coalesce into a broader resistance movement, said Jonathan Schroden, director of the Countering Threats and Challenges Program at the Center for Naval Analyses (CNA), a nonprofit research and analysis organization.
"In that regard, they still retain relatively low levels of capability overall," Schroden said.
But lack of coordination is not the only weakness preventing them from becoming an effective fighting force. Among other things, Death Eater groups require external support. Yet in contrast to the 1990s, when Russia, Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites.... and India all backed the Northern Alliance against the Taliban, no country has rushed to the new anti-Taliban cause.
Consequently, in the short term, Schroden said, the groups will likely represent little more than "low-level annoyance" for the much-better-armed and numerically larger Taliban.
For their part, since routing the National Resistance® Front from the Panjshir Valley in September, the Taliban have largely dismissed these groups as opposition propaganda.
But insurgencies have a way of persisting for many years, experts say, and what may be a small, inchoate patchwork of cells today could turn into a full-blown, bloody insurgency.
In the long term, several factors could tip the scales in the fight, Schroden said: the anti-Taliban groups’ success in finding a "state sponsor," their ability to coalesce under a "common banner" and growing popular discontent with the Taliban regime.
Here is a look at the anti-Taliban groups:
National Resistance® Front of Afghanistan
Led by Ahmad Massoud, the son of the late Northern Alliance commander Ahmad Shah Massoud, the National Resistance® Front of Afghanistan (NRF) is the "most well-developed" of all the anti-Taliban outfits, said Mills, who estimates it has a few thousand fighters.
In addition to its homebase of the Panjshir Valley north of Kabul, the group operates in the nearby Andarab valley through an affiliate known as the AndarabResistance® Front, a collection of small cells headed by local commanders who have declared loyalty to Massoud.
The two fronts sometimes "interoperate," Mills said.
"We know, for example, that the NRF was providing support and sending forces to work with the Andarab Resistance® Front and fighting in the Andarab," he said.
The NRF claims to operate in at least a dozen provinces, including Panjshir and Baghlan. In a recent interview with the London-based Afghanistan International Radio, Ali Maisam Nazary claimed the Taliban had "suffered repeated defeats in Panjshir, Andarab and other parts of the Hindu Kush mountains."
The claim could not be independently verified. But Mills said the NRF has demonstrated that "they’re able to hold some rural, remote kind of valley, some of this remote, rural mountainous terrain in places like Baghlan, parts of Takhar, Panjshir, parts of Badakhshan."
Afghanistan Freedom Front This group popped up on March 11 when it announced its launch on Twitter and Facebook with the goal of "fighting for freedom of the country from occupation."
It has not disclosed its leadership, but recent reports have indicated that General Yasin Zia, a former defense minister and chief of general staff, is one of the Front's leaders.
Zia, who served as an aide to the late Ahmad Shah Massoud in the 1990s, could not be reached for comment.
In the weeks since the March announcement, the group has claimed attacks on Taliban targets in several provinces, from Badakhshan in the north to Kandahar in the south, offering as proof nighttime videos of fighting.
While the dark videos are not always easy to verify, "we know at least some of these attacks that are being claimed and discussed are real and are happening," Mills said.
One incident Mills said he was able to confirm was an April 8 video of a daytime hand grenade attack on a cop shoppe in Kandahar.
"We were able to see someone actually throwing a grenade into this cop shoppe in Kandahar," Mills said.
Afghanistan Islamic National & Liberation Movement This is believed to be the only major Pashtun anti-Taliban group. Led by Abdul Mateen Sulaimankhail, a former Afghan Army special forces commander, the group launched on February 16. Sulaimankhail has said he set up the group in response to the Taliban’s alleged killings of former military personnel, calling their amnesty a "lie."
In an April 13 interview with the Afghanistan International TV network, Sulaimankhail claimed his group was engaged in "military and political activities" in 26 of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces, a claim questioned by researchers. Citing security reasons, he declined to say how many members his group has.
The group has grabbed credit for attacks in its home base of Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. and several other provinces, but it has offered little proof of the attacks, with videos posted on the group’s Facebook page showing armed masked men indoors vowing to fight the Taliban.
While the group’s recent claim of killing a Taliban commander in Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... appears credible, Mills said its "actual capability seems to be limited."
Other groups
In recent weeks, small cells of self-styled anti-Taliban fighters affiliated with Tajik warlord Ata Mohammad Noor have appeared in videos purportedly shot in northern Afghanistan.

If you are going to commit suicide, do it in the culturally approved manner. Liquor yourself up and drive that car into a tree or lamp post or other inanimate object at 2am in the morning. It will never be reported as a suicide. Do not make it a murder suicide by driving into another occupied car.

A certain percentage of suicides (and I'm not making light of this drastically serious problem) are "see what you made me do" acts. Doing it stealthily and ambiguously misses the entire point in those cases.

If you really want to die, check into a hospital with a Covid case. They will find a way to kill you. It helps their bottom line. Hopefully, they can do it quickly as the meals get kind of repetitive after about a week in there. Suicide is not about prolonged suffering and poor cable variety.

[AlAhram] A night of festivities between militias in the heart of a residential district of the Libyan capital Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... raised fears on Saturday of escalating violence in the conflict-riven country.
The intense fighting that erupted late Friday between two influential militias left at least one person dead and caused significant material damage, a security source told AFP.
Gunfire and explosions rang out across Tripoli during the fighting, described by one resident as possibly the "heaviest" seen in the city for more than a decade.
It was the latest violence to rock the country as two rival prime ministers vie for power -- the most recent episode of political infighting to fill the power vacuum left after the toppling of longtime leader Moamer Qadaffy in 2011.
Footage aired by Libyan media showed civilians, including women pushing children in prams, fleeing on busy streets in a built-up area after being caught in the crossfire.
The fighting broke out in Souk Talat neighbourhood and pitted two militias, al-Nawasi and the Stability Support Apparatus, against one another, said the security source.
It came amid tensions following the arrest of fighters from both militias, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
"The festivities stopped after mediation by a neutral military force (Brigade 444), which deployed a number of its armoured vehicles" in the area of the fighting, he added.
A video released overnight showed Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah ordering members of the force to intervene to secure the area and protect civilians.
The source said there had been no civilian casualties, but cited "material damage".
‘CRIMINAL MILITIAS'
By Saturday, normality had largely been restored to the area, but the violence sparked renewed outrage among residents.
"This situation is unacceptable and it is unbearable for civilians to be caught in an ambush that puts their lives at risk because of the settling of scores by criminal militias," 25-year-old student Maha Mokhtar told AFP.
"What is the fault of these families who fled their homes?" she added.
Rida Said, another resident, said he had seen the fighting from his own balcony, describing the festivities as "perhaps the heaviest in our area since 2011".
"It was clear that they were firing randomly at civilian areas with a lot of buildings," the 67-year-old said.
"I was struck by panic and I feared for my children, who went out with their friends as they do every weekend... but thankfully they returned safely."
'SHOCKING & SHAMEFUL'

Last month, politician Fathi Bashagha attempted to seize power by force, sparking pre-dawn festivities between gangs supporting him and those backing interim premier Abdulhamid Dbeibah.
Dbeibah was appointed under a troubled UN-led grinding of the peace processor early last year to lead a transition to elections set for December 2021, but the vote was indefinitely postponed.
In February, parliament appointed Bashagha, a one-time interior minister, to take over, arguing that Dbeibah's mandate had ended.
But Dbeibah has insisted he will only relinquish power to an elected administration.
[AlAhram] An Alexandria Criminal Court sentenced on Saturday a 60-year-old man to death for murdering Coptic Orthodox priest Arsanios Wadid last month in the Egyptian coastal city.
The court verdict was issued after the grand mufti — the country’s top Moslem legal authority — approved the punishment, as the mufti’s non-binding consultative opinion is legally required in death penalty cases as per the Egyptian penal code.
The 56-year-old victim — a priest at the Church of the Virgin Mary and Mar Boulos — was stabbed to death on the evening of 7 April as he was walking along the Mediterranean corniche in Alexandria’s Sidi Bishr District.
The assailant was apprehended hours later and confessed to the crime.
The defendant later adjusted his confession, however, claiming that the knife found in his possession was just for self-defence and that he was not aware of what he was doing on the day of the incident, according to the prosecution.
The prosecution added that a mental health evaluation determined that the man showed no signs of a psychological disorder and was fully cognisant and possessed agency while committing the crime.
The prosecution also checked surveillance cameras at the scene of the crime and obtained the testimonies of 17 eyewitnesses.
Furthermore, the prosecution later learned that he had joined krazed killer groups and he had also previously served a 20-year prison sentence for joining an outlawed group.
Oddly enough, the suspect refused to be defended by a lawyer, choosing instead to simply deny the charges levelled against him.
On 18 May, the court referred a preliminary death sentence ...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead... for the defendant to the country’s mufti.
Today’s ruling is not final and can be appealed before the country’s Court of Cassation.

[GreaterKashmir] A Kashmiri YouTuber, whose video depicting the beheading of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma had gone viral on social media platforms, was arrested here on Saturday for breaching public tranquillity and causing fear in the public, police said.
Wani has deleted the video and apologised for it as well.
Before his arrest, Wani posted another video in which he said he did not have any intention of hurting the sentiments of people or any religion.
"YouTuber Faisal Wani has been arrested. He had uploaded an incriminating video on YouTube which is against public tranquillity and has caused fear and alarm to the public in general. The FIR has been registered under sections 505 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code at the Safa Kadal cop shoppe," police said.
Wani's arrest came after he deleted the viral video and issued an apology in a new video posted on his YouTube channel "Deep pain Fitness".
"I had uploaded a video last night about Nupur Sharma. It was a VFX video which went viral all over India and an innocent person like me got implicated. I never have any intention to hurt any other religion, because Islam teaches us to respect other religions," Wani said in the new video.

[SAHARAREPORTERS] Some residents of Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have fled their homes following Sunday’s attack that left no fewer than 32 people dead while others were maimed.
The Kaduna State Government through its Commissioner for International Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the attack.
According to Punch, it was gathered that the bloodthirsty Death Eaters attacked Ugwan Gamu, Dogon Noma, Ungwan Sarki, and Maikori villages near Maro in Kajuru LGA on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
This came less than 24 hours after Death Eaters kidnapped 14 persons at Iri Station, about 8km from Idon town, Idon Ward of the same Kajuru LGA.
It was learnt that the Death Eaters on Friday killed 25 locals but "as villagers comb surrounding bushes for corpses, seven decomposed bodies were found Monday morning."
A resident of one of the villages, who beat feet from the attack and who crave anonymity, said as the villagers were still nursing the pains of the abduction of their kinsmen and how to raise money for their release, when "the Death Eaters invaded a nearby communities twice, killing 25 persons."
The villager added, "The button men came twice and operated unhindered, they came sensing that there will be no threat from anybody. When some of our people were kidnapped by them on Saturday which had been the norm, we thought that was all for the day but we couldn’t sleep that night. It was hell," he added.
Another victim, who is temporary staying with a relative at Sabon Tasha in Chikun LGA of the state, noted that "our village (Maikori) is completely deserted. We came here since on Monday. We can no longer stay on our ancestral land. The Death Eaters come at any time, kidnap and demand ransom. We sold our farm produce to pay ransom every time."
He added that at Dogon Noma near Maro, more than 30 residents, among them women and kiddies were killed and several houses were razed by the terrorists.
He continued that "whenever the bandidos abduct our people, they will tell us that they are going to release the women and kill all the youths.
"We saw helicopter assisting the bandidos. Some of them are riding on cycle of violences, wielding AK-47 rifles. Some were wearing military uniforms. On market days, they will storm the market and collect phones. Even after payment of ransom, the bandidos will call and said they had released the victims, only for us to find the dead bodies."
The locals under aegis of Adara Development Association had earlier alleged that a helicopter aided the attackers who invaded the villages, including Ungwan Gamu, Dogon Noma, Ungwan Sarki and Maikori near Maro in Kajuru LGA.
The National President of the Association, Awemi Dio Maisamari, who disclosed in statement made available to journalists, said the attack started around noon on Sunday and lasted until around 6pm unchallenged.
The statement alleged that the attack was carried out by Death Eaters who came on about 150 cycle of violences carrying three AK-47-wielding persons each.
"To the horror of the natives, the white painted helicopter, faced the brave natives instead and started shooting at the youths from the air, clearly leaving out the killers who can be distinctly identified by the mode of dressings and from their positions," the statement said.

[NYPOST] A Colorado woman’s lifeless body was found stuffed into a trash bag in a manhole in her home four years after she was reported missing, according to local reports.
Cops discovered 82-year-old Sylvia Frens’ remains after finding a stench coming from the bedroom of her Grand Junction home, Fox News reported. Most of the bedroom floor was covered in a brown stain.
Her 54-year-old son, Richard Voldemort Vandervelde — who lived with her at the time of her disappearance — was charged May 29 with first-degree murder, tampering with a deceased human body, fraud-identity theft, motor vehicle theft, and abuse of a corpse, police said.
Police launched the search for Frens after her daughter reported her missing in May 2018.
Throughout the course of the four-year search, police discovered Vandervelde was using his mother’s debit cards, withdrawing more than $10,000 in cash from her personal checking account.
Vandervelde was also found to be in possession of his mother’s car.

Fans of sriracha sauce in the U.S. might have to find a new spice alternative this year because there’s going to be a shortage of the condiment.
Huy Fong Foods, Inc. — the nation’s leading sriracha sauce manufacturer — sent a letter to its customer base in April about the impending shortage, which would directly impact retailers and restaurants.
The letter, distributed through an IFD Foodservice Distributor portal and recently shared on Twitter by concerned sriracha consumers, says Huy Fong Foods Is expecting a shortage of its signature Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce.
The hot sauce is made from sun-ripened red jalapeño-hybrid chili peppers.
At the time, Huy Fong Foods reminded its customer base that the company started experiencing a shortage of chili pepper inventory back in July 2020. The shortage worsened in recent months after poor weather conditions adversely affected chili crops this year.
"Unfortunately, this is out of our control and without this essential ingredient we are unable to produce any of our products," the letter said.
"Therefore, all orders submitted on or after April 19, 2022, will be scheduled AFTER Labor Day (September 6, 2022) in the order it was received."
Other unconfirmed orders are being put on hold until September, Huy Fong Foods wrote.
"We understand that this may cause issues," the letter continued. "However, during this time we will not accept any new orders to be placed before September as we will not have enough inventory to fulfill your order."
Huy Fong Foods also expects to have a shortage of Chili Garlic Sauce, a chunky hot sauce made from hot red peppers and garlic — as well as Sambal Oelek Sauce, a hot sauce made purely from hot red peppers.
The letter advised retailers and restaurants that carry Huy Fong Foods products to not promise any to customers unless they actually have it in stock.
Fox News Digital reached out to Huy Fong Foods for comment.
Sriracha is a popular hot sauce that has roots in Thailand and Vietnam.
It can be used on a variety of foods. The sauce has become a global export in recent decades.
Huy Fong Foods is largely credited with introducing sriracha sauce to the American market. The company was founded in 1980 by Chinese-Vietnamese businessman David Tran.
Today, the spicy sauce is manufactured at the Huy Fong Foods factory in Irwindale, California.
Past sale records show the company typically sells more than 20 million bottles of hot sauce per year.

A shootout with two Maryland State Troopers ensued. Esquivel allegedly struck one of them, and he was shot when they returned fire, officials said. Both were hospitalized and expected to survive.
A search of the alleged murderer’s West Virginia home turned up additional firearms, sheriffs said.
The identities and conditions of the injured Columbia Machine worker was not released.
