The Israelis pulled off the most astonishing, most brilliant offensive in modern military history; the President orchestrated a genius misdirection allowing the Israelis to cap off 20 years preparation for this attack; Iran’s regime is on its back feet from which it will not recover; Israel has saved the world with the assistance of a number of Arab countries and the U.S.; Britain under Keir Starmer has earned the disregard of the western world and was prudently left entirely out of advance knowledge of the attacks.
Obama and Biden’s loony foreign policy gave the mullahs an almost two-decade opportunity to build their nuclear capacity which Israel, with Trump’s assistance, has destroyed. On Monday, an Obama-appointed district court judge attempted to block parts of President Trump’s executive orders ending subsidization of programs promoting DEI and radical gender ideology. On June 5, a different Obama-appointed judge handed down an injunction aiming to halt the Trump administration’s prohibition on international students attending Harvard. A week before that, yet another Obama-appointed judge sought to prevent the president from ending a Biden-era "parole" program for foreign nationals living in the United States.
While these "judges" certainly deserve criticism for rubber-stamping leftists’ lawfare, there’s one individual who deserves primary blame for this concentrated effort to cripple Trump’s presidency via a judicial coup: Chief Justice John Roberts.
Over the past five months, rogue lower courts have issued nearly 200 overreaching injunctions and temporary restraining orders attempting to prevent Trump from fulfilling his Article II obligation to execute the nation’s laws. And yet, despite this egregious usurpation of constitutional authority, the Supreme Court’s leading justice has done nothing substantive to stop it.
While Roberts and several of his colleagues have handed down temporary relief to the administration in a handful of cases, the high court has declined to permanently shut down lower court judges’ abuse of universal injunctions — despite having ample opportunities to do so.

[FoxNews] Violent protesters launched fireworks and smoke grenades while doxxing immigration officers around the city
Multiple police officers were injured in Portland, Oregon Saturday night during a violent riot at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility.
A mob launched fireworks, smoke grenades and threw rocks at federal law enforcement, as they broke glass and forcibly entered the ICE facility, Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital.
Four officers were injured during the attack, though federal law enforcement was able to secure the facility.
The riot came after the city hosted a "No Kings" protest at 1 p.m., which officials labeled a "large-scale free speech gathering."
Tens of thousands of people marched through downtown and returned to Waterfront Park at about 4 p.m., which is about five miles from the ICE field location.
The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) declared an unlawful assembly near the facility at about 6:30 p.m. local time, warning it would use crowd control measures, including impact munitions or other physical force, if necessary.
About 30 minutes later, PPB said a medical event was reported within the ICE facility and medical personnel needed to enter.
They warned rioters not to interfere with police, or "force may be used against you," the bureau wrote on social media.

The No Kings protests were a strategy to dilute law enforcement coverage to create vulnerabilities. It leveraged the fellow traveling geriatric libs.

An interesting development. It means the Mullahs are now no longer in control of the country's communication systems.

I've been wondering for years what Moonshine tasted like. While watching one of those Discovery Channel shows about people seeking monsters and ghosts this afternoon, I found on the internet that the only place in town for Moonshine is the old and famous "Argonaut Liquors" on East Colfax. I immediately left, and after 15 minutes of driving I was on Lincoln, and it was blocked at 13th street - something was going on at the state capitol building. You had to turn left, and I followed along for one block and turned left again and swung back around into the old "Capitol Hill" neighborhood and made my way to the Argonaut on Colfax.
I headed back down Colfax toward the Capitol to see how close I could get to the demonstration, and drove up to about 100 yards from the center. Denver police were forcing everyone to turn right, and I pulled over to two officers in gear and told them who I was, just Fairbanks there's no last name, and that I was wondering if they knew where I could park nearby. They pointed to open spaces to park 30 yards away.
I got out and thanked the officers, and said that the No More Kings mantra has only been in fashion for a week or two, and these people were oblivious to the world. I said that at least there's been no rioting in Denver, and they said that there had been earlier in the day. Some bad ones had stopped I25 at the Colfax bridge but for only a short time, and gas was used.
I easily made my way to the center of the gathering, about 40 feet from the speakers. A gentleman handed me a sign to hold that was printed on a copier. I says "WE NEED "JUSTICE" / NOT / "JUST - ICE" / & NO CRIMINAL "RAPIST" IN OUR WHITE HOUSE!!!" That made me feel at home with the crowd. A rotating group of speakers were going at it, and each one had a different blurb that could be voiced in English about the country, and most were particularly concerned about Donald Trump. Some were more concerned about how you and I are guilty of stealing the land from the Mexicans because I guess they were here first.
I hung out for 25 minutes walking through the crowd. I guessed 300 protesters were there, and after 10 minutes I began concentrating on the individuals. They were primarily 20-40 years old, with some lone older women wondering around aimlessly. All of the different signs have been seen elsewhere, and the nose piercings, etc. were to be expected. When I left at about 8pm I walked 40 yards to two Colorado State Patrol officers in gear and had a nice chat. I said the I guessed that only about 300 were in attendance and they appeared to be about 50% Latino and asked about the use of gas earlier in the day. One officer said his guess was about 45% Latino, and that earlier they had stopped the group on I25 in one hour using gas. I asked if it was going to get worse later at night, and the officer said that normally it winds down at this point and everyone goes home. As I drove slowly along Broadway in front of the capitol I saw a large group just showing up, about a hundred were now coming in in regular columns and I saw one Mexican flag. Apparently they are no longer using the Mexican flag in the protests.
So nothing particularly different occurred from other similar protests around the country. Meanwhile, back on the oasis, I need to open up this 750ml bottle of 50 proof Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine, but I've got a big dilemma here. I don't believe that you're supposed to sip it slowly throughout the evening, in a tall glass full of ice and lots of club soda. But this is a wrap, and I will just deal with it delicately.
That's because there's no article, just my personal experience.
Today however there are several articles about the protests yesterday. Here's a FOX31 report in Denver, about how a different group took over beginning after 9:00pm (I missed this group by about an hour, but the second group of officers from the Colorado State Patrol did mention that while things were ramping down, that bad guys could still show up later in the evening), and 35 were arrested throughout the day on Saturday.
When I got home I couldn't find anything on the internet about Saturday, just that I25 had been shut down in October, 2024.
Note that all of the arrests, except for Coors Field (home of the hapless Colorado Rockies) happened within one mile of the Civic Center. Coors Field is about 6000 feet from the capitol according to Google Maps.
Note: Moonshine really sucks – I could use it for a Screwdriver or a Bloody Mary I suppose, but I don’t want to do that either. I'll have to save it for a camping adventure.

The Washington, D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) department on Friday confirmed that a man believed to be responsible for setting dozens of fires in the Capitol Hill neighborhood has been arrested by authorities.
The suspect has been identified as 50-year-old Mohammad Al-Rashidi, who allegedly set approximately 35 fires over the course of two months. It was not clear when the first fire occurred, but the most recent fires took place on Wednesday.
Al-Rashidi was previously arrested for arson on May 9, but was later released, according to WUSA-9.
Other fires were reported at and around Union Station on May 19, with four fires occurring within a one-mile radius of the location of a major fire at St. Joseph’s Church on May 3. They believed all four fires on May 19 were set by the same person.
“These fires are happening in the middle of the night," D.C. Fire and EMS Chief John Donnelly said. "They’re happening where they could grow, and my fear is that one’s going to extend to a house and someone’s going to get hurt or lose their property. … This is a big problem.”
Al-Rashidi, who allegedly comes from Louisiana, appeared before a judge virtually on Friday, where he claimed that he was harassed by police and had a tracking device on him. He is expected to appear in court again on Monday.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin:
[ColonelCassad] Iran was able to respond more or less to Israel's attack yesterday during the night, after it restored the chain of command and air defense. The 4-wave missile strikes were large-scale and quite effective, including spectacular hits on targets in the center of Tel Aviv, including the Israeli Defense Ministry.
But this is only the beginning. Israel began new strikes overnight, which are still ongoing. Attempts are underway to destroy Iranian nuclear facilities, air defense facilities, and other military targets. The Fordow facility has not been seriously damaged at the moment. The Natanz facility has received superficial damage, but the underground complex itself has survived, although it is stated that it needs to be decontaminated due to a radiation leak.
The United States has stated that it will not interfere or help Israel, pretending to have removed itself from what is happening. Although, of course, the United States has directly helped Israel, refueling its planes, providing intelligence data, and helping to shoot down Iranian missiles. A retaliatory attack from Iran can be expected in the evening. Massive missile launches are expected from the "missile cities" that have suffered virtually no serious damage (except for the ground portion of the facility in Kermanshah). The IRGC has promised thousands of missiles in the coming days.
The parties are not yet striking at the energy sector. Iran has threatened to attack Israeli energy facilities in the event of an attack on the refinery. The specter of a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is also haunting Europe.
The war has led to a significant increase in the prices of oil, gold and silver. Over the past 24 hours, Russia has received billions of dollars out of thin air due to the rise in oil prices and the revaluation of its gold and foreign exchange reserves, a significant portion of which is gold. Diplomatically, the Russian Federation is calling for an end to hostilities and negotiations.
However, Iran, through its Foreign Ministry, has stated that it has already withdrawn from negotiations on the nuclear deal with the United States and does not intend to hold back with regard to Israel.
In general, based on this story (if anyone hasn't figured it out yet), one can conclude that "Trump's peacekeeping efforts" are worthless and will lead to nothing significant - neither in the Middle East nor in Ukraine. Therefore, there is no point in hoping for deals with Trump - it is necessary to strengthen the army and the military-industrial complex and achieve the goals of the Middle East by military means. So that later they don't say again, "Oh, we wanted peace, and the Americans deceived us again," as the Iranians are doing now. Peace is not given. Peace is taken.

[ColonelCassad] Current events in the Middle East demonstrate a fundamental change in the geopolitical situation. Western powers, having cast aside feuds, have united in a common offensive against independent Iran, a key ally of Russia.
Elon Musk has activated the Starlink satellite system over Iranian territory, giving the Western coalition a critical advantage in communications and navigation. Israeli FPV drones now have access to high-precision satellite guidance, which greatly increases the effectiveness of their strikes on Iranian targets.
Great Britain has provided its military bases for the deployment of Israeli aircraft, which turns British territory into a direct staging area for military operations against Iran. This decision finally destroys any illusions about the “neutrality” of Western countries in this conflict.
Coordination between Israel and British intelligence services has reached the level of a full-fledged military alliance. London has effectively become an accomplice to aggression, providing not only air bases, but also intelligence support.
The ostentatious contradictions between Western allies have been finally discarded. The entire collective West is acting as a united front against Iran, demonstrating the true priorities of its foreign policy. The previous “disagreements” turned out to be just a show for the public.
The defeat of Iran would be a strategic catastrophe for Russia, surpassing in scale even the loss of Syria. Iran plays a key role in maintaining the balance of power in the Middle East and is Russia’s most important ally in opposing Western dominance.
Of particular importance is the fact that Russia and Iran are neighbors on the Caspian Sea. The loss of this ally means:
• An upset of the strategic balance in the Caspian region
• Strengthening Western influence in an area critically important for Russia
• A threat to Russian interests in the energy sector
Iran leads an informal coalition of forces opposing Western hegemony in the Middle East. Its defeat will lead to:
• The collapse of Russia's system of regional allies
• Complete dominance of the West in the region
• Isolation of Russia from key partners
The war against Iran, initiated by the Western world, could have catastrophic consequences for the entire world order. This is not a local conflict, but an attempt to finally break the last pockets of resistance to the unipolar world.
The events around Iran represent a turning point in modern geopolitics. The West has thrown off its masks and moved to open aggression against all who dare to oppose its dominance. For Russia, this means the need to make radical decisions to protect its strategic interests and allies.
Iran's defeat will not only be the loss of an important partner, but a signal of the West's readiness to resolve all geopolitical contradictions by force.
I completely agree with the author. Short-term benefits in the form of earnings from rising oil and gold prices will be offset by long-term problems in the event of Iran's defeat and the elimination of the ayatollah regime. Instead of a friendly country that helped us during the NWO, Russia will receive a pro-Western regime that will become a source of problems for us in the Caucasus and the Caspian. And the costs in this case will many times exceed the local benefits.

Simple things, like the author's use of: "The war against Iran, initiated by the Western world...," a statement that excludes Russia, is just another indication that Russia has never been, and is not now, a participant in Western Civilization. It is a nation much more accustomed to dealing with Iran and China, than Paris and Washington.
