American university red/green Jew hate nexus: 5/25-6/21
Just what Ihappened across while looking for other things — though I’ve been a bit distracted with the Israel-Iran war, so it’s been both neglected and delayed. Sorry.

In the official Harvard 2025 Yearbook, the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust is simply labeled:

“October 2023: War Breaks Out in Gaza.”

As Harvard Chabad notes, this would be the equivalent of describing 9/11 as "War breaks out in Afghanistan."

I urge all employers: if you are going to hire Harvard graduates from 2024-2028, please ask them what they were doing on campus the last two years.

Go through their social media. If they celebrated the abduction of 12 American citizens and the murder of more than 45, perhaps look elsewhere for employees.

If these are America's future leaders, then no wonder America has such a dearth of leadership.

MIT graduation speaker calls for pro-Palestinian activism to stop ‘genocidal Israeli military’
Some people walked out and others booed Thursday when a Massachusetts Institute of Technology commencement speaker accused Israel of trying “to wipe Palestine off of the earth.” Megha Vemuri, (pictured) the graduating class president, used her speech to urge alumni to advocate for the pro-Palestinian cause and demand the university cut ties with the “genocidal Israeli military.”

Her remarks prompted backlash both during the ceremony – with some shouting “shame,” booing, or walking out – as well as afterward online, Fox News reports. Vermuri praised MIT’s undergraduate body and graduate student union for voting to cut ties with the “genocidal Israeli military” last spring, according to a video of her speech posted on X.

Princeton Fails To Enforce Its Rules on Free Speech, Antisemitism.

And this one for CA K-12:
Ethnic studies compromise opens door to broader antisemitism legislation in California
[IsraelTimes] A potential breakthrough arrived in May in California’s years-long debate over ethnic studies, in which Jewish groups fought to ensure that a curriculum mandate would not lead to teachers presenting Jews unfairly or singling out Israel. For the first time, influential lawmakers from several racial and ethnic caucuses offered to help the effort — as long as ethnic studies did not draw exclusive scrutiny. The result is a collaboration between the state legislature’s Jewish Caucus and the chairs of the Black, Latino, and Asian American and Pacific Islander caucuses on a bill to address concerns about antisemitism throughout the state’s education system.

“There was a level of ownership around ethnic studies by folks that are in those ethnic communities, and nervousness that in our desire to prevent antisemitism in that discipline, it looked like it was an attack on ethnic studies, when it wasn’t,” Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur, a member of the Jewish Caucus who is one of the bill’s two primary authors, said in an interview.

“They said, ‘Why don’t we actually focus on antisemitism in all the ways in which it’s appearing in our schools and do a bill that’s more broadly focused on antisemitism,’” Zbur said. “There’s a genuine desire to stand with the Jewish Caucus to remedy what’s happening.”

The compromise comes amid a broad spike in antisemitism globally, widespread concern about antisemitism in K-12 schools, and as some politically progressive educators appear to be promoting criticism of Israel in their classrooms.

It also turned out to be particularly timely. In California, the ethnic studies mandate that was approved in 2021, requiring that all high school students take an ethnic studies course to graduate, was about to take effect this fall. But then, two days after the unveiling of the new bill, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced he would not fund the mandate in next year’s budget, effectively blocking it for now. Newsom, who has expressed support for ethnic studies as a field of study and signed the 2021 law creating the mandate, has not explained his decision to withhold funding, but a spokesperson pointed out the state’s deteriorating financial situation. A $12 billion budget shortfall is expected.
President Trump would ensure the state loses funding on response. Also, the honourable governor of the great state etc. wants to run for president, so he has to tack to the center until he loses to the Republican in 2028.
The money is needed by local school districts for classroom materials as well as teacher staffing and training. Individual school districts have already begun teaching ethnic studies without a state mandate in effect, and they can continue to do so. Jewish groups are scrutinizing schools with ethnic studies offerings and have in some cases sued and filed complaints over alleged discrimination.
Lawfare being a tool that can be used for good as well as evil.
The provisions of the new bill are still being written, but a general outline was approved by the state Assembly’s education committee last week and by the appropriation committee Friday. The bill now heads to the Assembly floor for a second reading and a possible final vote by June 6. It would then go to the state Senate for consideration.

Arizona governor vetoes bill banning antisemitic teaching, calls it an attack on educators
[IsraelTimes] Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs vetoes a proposal that would have banned teaching antisemitism at the state’s public K-12 schools, universities and colleges and would have exposed educators who violate the new rules to discipline and lawsuits.

The proposal would have prohibited teachers and administrators from teaching or promoting antisemitism or antisemitic actions that create a hostile environment, calling for the genocide of any group, or requiring students to advocate for an antisemitic point of view. It also would have barred public schools from using public money to support the teaching of antisemitism. Educators would have personally been responsible for covering the costs of damages in lawsuits for violating the rules.

Hobbs, a Democrat, says the bill is not about antisemitism but rather about attacking teachers.

UChicago Prof, the Brother of a Convicted Iranian Spy, Says the 'Only Hope for Peace Is the Power and Durability of Iranian Missiles'
Alireza Doostdar is a member of the school's Faculty for Justice in Palestine chapter.

A University of Chicago professor whose brother was convicted of helping the Iranian regime spy on dissidents in the United States is cheering on Iran's missile attacks against Israel.

Alireza Doostdar, an associate professor of Islamic Studies and a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen, wrote in a Tuesday X post, "At this point the best and only hope for peace is the power and durability of Iranian missiles." His statement was in response to a video alleging that an "Iranian hypersonic missile attack" had destroyed an Israeli missile defense system in Tel Aviv.

On the University of Chicago campus, Doostdar is an active member of the Faculty for Justice in Palestine chapter and has supported unauthorized anti-Israel encampments. He was arrested during a "sit-in" protest in November 2023.

Doostdar's brother Ahmadreza, however, has a more extensive record of run-ins with law enforcement. A federal judge sentenced him to 38 months in prison in 2020 for spying on Iranian dissidents in California and Chicago and for monitoring a number of Jewish centers, including a Hillel Center and a Rohr Chabad Center. Doostdar's brother is also a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen.

Reached for comment, Doostdar told the Washington Free Beacon, "Sorry I refuse to speak to fascists. You can put that as my response."

Suspect arrested for planning mass shooting at Texas Jewish community center
Sudden Jihad Syndrome, another paid Iran proxy, Al Qaeda or ISIS? Or a nutter whose schizophrenia/bipolar/externally oriented depression drove him (or more rarely her) to go after a Jewish site? So many possibilities, so little evidence.
[IsraelTimes] Director of San Antonio’s Temple Beth El says FBI told him plot targeted the city’s entire Jewish community; mayor vows to take ‘all necessary steps’ for Jewish safety

A suspect was arrested Thursday who allegedly planned a mass shooting at the Barshop Jewish Community Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The suspect, who was not identified, was located by police in another state and was arrested based on statements made by the suspect while in police custody, according to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus.

In response to the alleged threats, the Barshop JCC was closed Thursday and police presence was increased at Jewish facilities throughout the city, according to police.

“The FBI received information overnight indicating that an individual may have been planning to conduct a mass shooting at a Jewish Cultural Enrichment Center,” the FBI San Antonio Field Office said in a statement. “An individual believed to be associated with this has been located by the FBI in another state and the investigation is continuing to determine the veracity of the threat information.”

Eric Ryniker, the executive director of San Antonio synagogue Temple Beth El, told local news channel KSAT that he had received a call from the FBI early Thursday morning informing him that they were not only “focusing on the JCC but the Jewish community entirely.”

Ryniker told KSAT that his reaction to the call from the FBI was “frustration more than anything” — but not because of how the agency was responding.

“Honestly, frustration more than anything because of how almost routine it is. It’s terrible. It’s tragic. It’s not OK,” Ryniker said. “And yet, this is just part of what we do. We have these protocols in place because we know things like this are going to happen.”

Rhonda Grimm, the president of the National Council of Jewish Women San Antonio, told local television station KENS that they had received a strong show of support.

“We received a great deal of support today, so while tensions are high and there’s anxiety, there’s a very, very strong show of support,” Grimm said.

“It could be us targeted, it could be another group targeted tomorrow,” Grimm continued. “We all look out for each other.”

IDF published proof of Iran’s hand in Gaza war
[IsraelTimes] On Saturday the IDF published intelligence documents it said were found in a Hamas tunnel underneath the European hospital in southern Gaza — where the terror group’s leader Muhammad Sinwar was killed in a strike last month — revealing how IRGC official Saeed Izadi was working to arm and fund Hamas during the war, on behalf of the Iranian regime.

“Our forces discovered documents clearly indicating that in recent months, the leadership of Hamas’s military wing continued its ties with Saeed Izadi, its Iranian patron who was eliminated overnight,” the IDF said.

Izadi was the IRGC Quds Force’s Palestine Corps chief and was killed in an Israeli strike in western Iran overnight.

“The documents now being released show correspondence between Muhammad Sinwar and Saeed Izadi, detailing the ‘Tufan (Deluge) 1’ plan, under which Izadi advanced the transfer of weapons to Hamas valued at approximately $21 million, and his intention to advance the ‘Tufan 2’ plan, for the transfer of weapons valued at approximately $25 million,” the military said.

The IDF said that these two plans “did not materialize as intended” due to operations of the Intelligence Directorate, Southern Command, and Shin Bet.

“For years, Izadi transferred weapons to support Hamas’s terror activities against the State of Israel and continued to do so in recent months. The documents now being revealed join many others uncovered during the war, attesting to Izadi’s role in funding and arming the Hamas terror organization,” the military added.

Gazans ‘desperately need more aid,’ says humanitarian group backed by US and Israel
[IsraelTimes] US officials say GHF approached the Trump administration to ask for $30 million in order to expand reach across Strip; eight said killed near aid distribution sites Saturday

The Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Humanitarian Foundation, an organization backed by the United States and Israel that began distributing food rations in the Gaza Strip last month, said on Saturday that people in the Paleostinian enclave "desperately need more aid."

The admission by the GHF that it has been unable to meet demand came after severe criticism from other aid groups and near-daily deadly shootings near distribution points.

Gaza’s Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
-run civil defense agency said Saturday that Israeli troops had killed at least 17 people, including eight who were seeking food at the time of the shooting. The IDF told AFP it was "looking into" the deaths that the civil defense agency reported near GHF distribution centres.

In a statement on Saturday, GHF interim executive director John Acree said that the organization was "delivering aid at scale, securely and effectively... But we cannot meet the full scale of need while large parts of Gaza remain closed."

He said the GHF was "working with the government of Israel to honour its commitment and open additional sites in northern Gaza."

"The people of Gaza desperately need more aid and we are ready to partner with other humanitarian groups to expand our reach to those who need help the most," Acree said.

As part of its efforts to expand its reach, the US- and Israel-backed group has asked US President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
’s administration to step in with an initial $30 million, according to three US officials and the organization’s application for the money.

The application, obtained by the News Agency that Dare Not be Named, also offers some of the first financial details about the GHF and its work in the war-torn enclave. That includes a projection of a $150 million monthly budget once the group’s current aid sites fully gear up — an amount equal to $1.8 billion a year.

The group’s funding application was submitted to the US Agency for International Development, according to the US officials, who were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

The application was being processed this week as potentially one of the agency’s last acts before the Republican administration absorbs USAID into the State Department as part of deep cuts in foreign assistance.

Two of the officials said they were told the administration has decided to award the money. They said the processing was moving forward with little of the review and auditing normally required before Washington makes foreign assistance grants to an organization.

In a letter submitted Thursday as part of the application, Gaza Humanitarian Foundation secretary Loik Henderson said his organization "was grateful for the opportunity to partner with you to sustain and scale life-saving operations in Gaza."

Neither the State Department nor Henderson immediately responded to requests for comment Saturday.

In documents supporting its application, the group said it received nearly $119 million for May operations from "other government donors," but gives no details. It expects $38 million from those unspecified government donors for June, in addition to the hoped-for $30 million from the United States.

Israel has insisted that it has had no part in funding the new Gaza aid operation, although the Kan public broadcaster reported earlier this month that the government had approved the transfer of NIS 700 million (some $280 million) to fund it.

GHF’s operations have been slammed as a "failure" by the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
, while other aid groups have raised concerns about the group’s opaque structure and neutrality amid the war in the Gaza Strip, which has been raging since the Hamas-led massacre in southern Israel on October 7, 2023.

According to figures issued Saturday by the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry, at least 450 people have been killed and nearly 3,500 injured by Israeli fire since GHF began distributing meal boxes in late May.

The figures provided by the Strip’s health authorities cannot be independently verified and do not differentiate between combatants and civilians.

GHF has denied responsibility
Nope. Nope. Wudn't us.
for deaths near its aid points, contradicting statements from witnesses and Gaza rescue services.

It has said that deaths have occurred near UN food convoys.

Earlier this month, the IDF warned Paleostinians not to approach routes leading to GHF sites between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. local time, describing these roads as closed military zones. However,
today is that tomorrow you were thinking about yesterday...
the GHF has indicated it may be open during those hours.

On Monday, the head of aid group Doctors Without Borders, Christopher Lockyear, said that the "imposed system of aid delivery" in Gaza was "not only a failure, but it is dehumanizing and dangerous."

Israel’s military has continued its offensive in Gaza, even as attention has shifted to its ongoing war with Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
since June 13.

The IDF has denied firing on civilians. It says it fired warning shots in several instances, and on a few occasions, fired directly at several suspects who ignored warnings and approached Israeli forces.

Witnesses have told AFP about injuries caused by drones and tank rounds.

Civil defense front man Mahmud Bassal told AFP that three people were killed by gunfire in the southern Gaza Strip, with another five killed in a central area known as the Netzarim Corridor, where thousands of Paleostinians have gathered daily in the hope of receiving rations from a GHF centre.

Earlier this week, the UN’s World Health Organization warned that Gaza’s health system was at a "breaking point," pleading for fuel to be allowed into the territory to keep its remaining hospitals running.

In addition to the reported fire near GHF aid sites, Bassal told AFP that three people were killed on Saturday in a strike on Gaza City, in the enclave’s north, and another was killed in a strike on the southern city of Khan Younis.

Palestinians and Israelis partner to feed thousands of Gazans as food aid fluctuates
A much better idea than going to Uncle Sam again, it seems to me. But what odds that the Gazan suppliers with miraculously stuffed warehouses are actually Hamas, dear Reader? I have dark suspicions….
[IsraelTimes] Arava Institute and Damour buy food from Gazan suppliers, with prices set to rise; organizations set sights on providing water and sewage system components too.

Clarice Feldman: Distilling the Week
By Clarice Feldman

It’s hot, it’s summer, the kids are home, you want to enjoy the break and not wade through hundreds of articles, mostly about ephemera or written by the ill-informed, so I’m going to do it for you. This week I highlight a few reports which I find sound. Because of space constraints and copyright issues, I can’t post them in their entirety but urge you to do so at your leisure. I found these articles which focus on the war, on President Trump’s foreign policy, the pushback from COVID tyranny and the Supreme Court’s ruling on deference to experts, the most significant matters of the week.

Iran and Israel
Spencer Guard accurately described the initial Israel response to aggression against it by Iran:

Imagine if Operation Overlord in World War II began with the elimination of Field Marshal Wilhelm Keitel, Chief of the German High Command; Heinrich Himmler, head of the SS; Field Marshal Erwin Rommel; numerous other senior generals; and the destruction of all of Germany’s air defenses, before a single Allied soldier landed on the beaches of Normandy. That’s not an exaggerated hypothetical. It’s a near-parallel to what Israel just did to Iran.Israel’s war against Iran is still ongoing. But what has already unfolded will be studied for decades.

Israel's current military operation against Iran is officially called Operation Rising Lion, launched on June 13, 2025, with a sweeping and precise preemptive strike. The operation was not just historic. It was transformational. It redefined what shock and awe can look like in the 21st century.

This was not merely a strike. It was a campaign -- a layered, synchronized demonstration of modern operational art, built on deep intelligence, strategic deception, and the innovative fusion of old and new tools of war.

Obama Demands A Ministry Of Truth
[ZERO] Former President Barack Obama is doubling down on his push to curb free speech in America, urging the federal government to tighten its grip on what citizens can say online.

"We want diversity of opinion. We don't want diversity of facts," claimed during an interview this week with historian and author Heather Cox Richardson. "That, I think, is one of the big tasks of social media."

Obama then flat out called for government regulation of social media platforms to curb the amplification of of what he described as "hateful" and "polarizing" public figures, while respecting First Amendment rights, claiming that censorship is essential to addressing business models that purportedly erode public trust.

"By the way, it will require some government, I believe, some government regulatory constraints around some of these business models in a way that's consistent with the First Amendment, but that also says, look, there is a difference between these platforms letting all voices be heard versus a business model that elevates the most hateful voices or the most polarizing voices or the most dangerous, in the sense of inciting violence, voices," the president said. "And that, I think, is going to be a big challenge for all of us that we're going to have to undertake."

Obama then went on to bizarrely compare Russian President Vladimir Putin to former Trump White House aide Steve Bannon, claiming that there common goal is not to convince people of a specific truth but to overwhelm them with so much misinformation—"flood the zone with poop"—that they become cynical and stop believing in anything.

"You have to flood the zone with so much untruth, constantly, that at some point people don't believe anything," Obama said. "So it doesn't matter if a candidate running for office just is constantly, just hypothetically, saying untrue things, or if an elected president claims that he won when he lost and that the system was rigged, but then when he wins, then it isn't rigged, because he won. It doesn't matter if everybody believes it. It just matters if everybody starts kind of throwing up their hands and saying, well, I guess it doesn't matter."

Israeli forces recover bodies of three hostages from Gaza
[NY Post] Israeli forces have recovered the bodies of three hostages which had been held in the Gaza Strip since the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas’ 2023 attack, the military and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday.

The hostages were identified as civilians Ofra Keidar and Yonatan Samerano, and soldier Shay Levinson.

Five Eyes Accused of Surveillance on Trump's 2016 Campaign Under Obama
[Self Reliance Center] The Five Eyes intelligence alliance, comprising the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, is a cooperative network focused on sharing signals intelligence (SIGINT) and other forms ofintelligence to address global security threats. Allegations have surfaced, particularly from sources aligned withformer President Donald Trump, that the Obama administration leveraged this alliance to conduct surveillance onTrump’s 2016 presidential campaign to hinder his electoral success

Background and Allegations

The allegations center on the idea that the Obama administration, particularly through the CIA under Director John Brennan, initiated or encouraged surveillance of Trump’s campaign associates as part of an effort to link them to Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. This narrative, often referred to as "Obamagate" or part of the "Russia Collusion Hoax" by its proponents, suggests that the Five Eyes alliance was used to bypass U.S. legal restrictions on domestic surveillance, allowing foreign intelligence agencies to collect and share information about Trump’s team with U.S. authorities.

Reported Five Eyes Involvement

1. CIA’s Alleged Coordination with Five Eyes:

  • According to reports from investigative journalists Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi, and Alex Gutentag, published in early 2024, sources claim that the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC), specifically the CIA under John Brennan, "illegally mobilized foreign intelligence agencies" within the Five Eyes alliance to target Trump advisors before the official start of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation in July 2016. These sources allege that Brennan identified 26 Trump associates for Five Eyes agencies to "bump" (make contact with) or manipulate to gather intelligence or create suspicious interactions that could justify further investigation.

The operation reportedly began as early as 2015, predating the FBI’s formal probe, and involved foreign intelligence services from the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The goal was to collect intelligence on Trump’s team and share it with U.S. agencies, allegedly to circumvent U.S. laws prohibiting domestic spying without proper authorization.

    2. GCHQ’s Role and Early Intelligence Sharing:

  • A 2017 report by The Guardian noted that the UK’s Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), a key Five Eyes member, was among the first to detect contacts between Trump’s inner circle and Russian figures in 2015. GCHQ reportedly picked up these interactions as part of routine surveillance of Russian intelligence assets, not as a targeted operation against Trump. Over the next six months, GCHQ shared this electronic intelligence (SIGINT) with U.S. agencies, including the CIA. Other Five Eyes nations, such as Australia, also relayed material, with Australia’s role tied to a tip from diplomat Alexander Downer about Trump aide George Papadopoulos’s comments on Russian-held material damaging to Hillary Clinton.
Sources cited in the 2024 reports claim this sharing was part of a deliberate effort orchestrated by the Obama administration to build a case against Trump’s campaign, though The Guardian emphasized that GCHQ’s actions were incidental and not specifically aimed at Trump.

    3. Australia’s Contribution via Papadopoulos:

  • In May 2016, Australian diplomat Alexander Downer met with Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos in London. Papadopoulos reportedly mentioned that Russia had damaging information on Hillary Clinton. Downer relayed this to Australian intelligence, which shared it with U.S. authorities, contributing to the FBI’s decision to open Crossfire Hurricane. Proponents of the spying narrative argue this was a setup, with Five Eyes allies like Australia acting on U.S. prompting to entrap Papadopoulos and justify surveillance.

    4. Bypassing U.S. Legal Constraints:

  • The allegations suggest that the Obama administration used Five Eyes to conduct surveillance that would be illegal for U.S. agencies to perform without court approval, such as a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant. By having foreign allies collect and share intelligence, the CIA and other U.S. agencies could access information on U.S. citizens (Trump’s associates) without violating domestic laws. This is described as "reverse targeting," where foreign surveillance indirectly collects data on Americans.

  • A 2024 WorldNetDaily article cites sources claiming that this operation was a "grave threat to our nation’s sovereignty" and involved "unprecedented collusion" to influence the 2016 election.

    5. The "Binder" of Declassified Intelligence:

  • Sources referenced in the 2024 reports claim that a 10-inch binder of raw intelligence, ordered declassified by Trump at the end of his first term, contains details about the FBI’s investigation and the broader IC’s surveillance of his campaign, including Five Eyes activities. This binder allegedly holds proof of illegal actions by U.S. and foreign intelligence services. The significance of this binder is highlighted by claims that the FBI’s 2022 Mar-a-Lago raid may have aimed to recover it to protect implicated agencies, both American and foreign.

Secretive Russian-Made Mi-17 Helicopter Makes Unusual Appearance In Tucson
[TWZ] A recent U.S. military urban training exercise involved helicopters of the types used by a shadowy U.S. aviation unit.

Residents of the Tucson, Arizona area were startled earlier this week by a group of helicopters, including at least one Russian-made Mi-17 Hip, making very low nighttime flights as part of what turned out to be a U.S. military exercise. This kind of domestic urban training is not uncommon, especially for U.S. special operations forces, and often comes at least as a surprise to bystanders. However, this instance is notably out of the ordinary in that the helicopters look to belong to a particularly shadowy unit.

Imagery of the helicopters flying over Tucson first began to emerge on social media on the night of June 17-18. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department subsequently confirmed to local media that the helicopters, one of which was an Mi-17 with an overall gray paint scheme, were affiliated with the U.S. military. The grounds of an abandoned school were used as part of the training exercise.

“The only thing I knew was that there was a lot of noise, flash bangs, helicopters, personnel, lights, sirens, that type of stuff,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who was apparently unaware that this week’s exercise was set to occur, told KOLD News 13, a local CBS-affiliated television station yesterday. “From my understanding, we didn’t even train. We were just there to assist the DoD in their training efforts.”

Nanos apologized for the lack of communication with the public and pledged not to let a similar incident happen in the future.
“When he looked into it, he found out his SWAT team facilitated the location with the Department of Defense to use solely for their training weeks ago,” KOLD‘s report added. “I will not blame DoD. I will not blame South Tucson. This was on us. We could easily have said, use our location (elsewhere) at 10 p.m., I don’t understand what the thinking was there.”

Nanos apologized for the lack of communication with the public and pledged not to let a similar incident happen in the future.

TWZ has reached out to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. military for more information.

As it turns out, an additional video, seen below, was posted on Instagram on June 17 showing what looks to be the same gray Mi-17 flying together with a trio of Bell 407 helicopters just outside Tucson. There was also a sighting of an identical-looking Hip at Pinal Airpark northwest of Tucson earlier this month.

Whether or not it may have been a factor in the lack of advance notice to the public or to the sheriff about the exercise, the gray Mi-17 seen during the exercise is a dead ringer for Hips tied to a highly secretive U.S. Army element known as the Aviation Technology Office (ATO). Previously known as the Flight Concepts Division (FCD), ATO is headquartered at Felker Army Airfield, which is part of Fort Eustis in Virginia.

In addition to gray-painted examples, ATO-linked Mi-17s have also been seen painted tan and wearing a tan-and-brown camouflage scheme. These helicopters have a distinctive configuration that includes a nose-mounted weather radar, a sensor ball turret under the right side of the cockpit, supplemental armor panels around the front, a large particle separator in front of their engine intakes, and various antennas on the fuselage and tail boom.

    -War on Police-
ICE Agents Now Face 500% Increase in Assaults While Trying to Arrest Illegal Aliens
[Breitbart] Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are now facing a 500 percent increase in assaults as they attempt to locate and arrest illegal aliens living in the United States, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data exclusively obtained by Breitbart News revealed.

“Today, the Department of Homeland Security released new data revealing that ICE law enforcement is now facing a 500% increase in assaults while carrying out enforcement operations,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Breitbart News.

McLaughlin pointed to the recent arrest of Roberto Carlos Munoz, an illegal alien and convicted child sex offender, who dragged an ICE agent 50 yards with his car as he attempted to evade arrest in Bloomington, Minnesota.

“Just this week, an ICE officer was dragged 50 yards by a car while arresting an illegal alien sex offender. Every day the men and women of ICE put their lives on the line to protect and defend the lives of American citizens,” McLaughlin said.

Likewise, McLaughlin called out the Democrats such as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries; Boston, Massachusetts, Mayor Michelle Wu; Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz; and Los Angeles, California, Mayor Karen Bass for their seemingly threatening statements against ICE agents.

While Wu and Walz have compared ICE agents to Nazis, Jeffries made threats against agents by stating he will work to expose their identities.

“Every single ICE agent who is engaged in this aggressive overreach and are trying to hide their identities from the American people will be unsuccessful in doing that … every single one of them, no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes will of course be identified,” Jeffries said weeks ago.

“Make no mistake, Democrat politicians like Hakeem Jeffries, Mayor Wu of Boston, Governor Tim Walz, and Mayor Bass of Los Angeles are contributing to the surge in assaults of our ICE officers through their repeated vilification and demonization of ICE,” McLaughlin said. “From comparisons to the modern-day Nazi gestapo to glorifying rioters, the violent rhetoric of these sanctuary politicians is despicable. This violence against ICE must end.”

Most recently, Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges that she forcibly impeded and interfered with ICE agents as they were trying to arrest an illegal alien at Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey.

Similarly, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York has not ruled out charging New York City Comptroller and Democrat mayoral candidate Brad Lander for allegedly assaulting an ICE agent and interfering with the arrest of an illegal alien.

    -Great Cultural Revolution
Paleo-American wannabe Dem politico in CA wants you to know he hates Jooooos
[ToniAiraksinen] ER doctor says “Do not let Zionists” in spaces like hospitals, professional groups. "People could die" said Physicans Against Antisemitism, the nation's top watchdog group for antisemitism in healthcare.

A Paleostinian-American ER doctor has come under fire by the nation’s largest watchdog group for antisemitism in healthcare after he circulated a number of anti-Zionist and anti-Israel statements on his Instagram.

The physician — Dr. Mohammad Subeh — treats patients at the El Camino Health Mountainview Hospital near the Socialist paradise of San Francisco
...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964...
and appears to be running as a Democrat for local election in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,’s 23rd district, which is anchored in San Bernardino county.

Dr. Subeh caught the attention of Physicians Against Antisemitism (PAA) with one of his recent Instagram posts, where he shared a post saying "don’t let Zionists in your spaces. Don’t make Zionists feel comfortable. Don’t continue business as usual."

"Unless stated otherwise, reposts on social media should be taken as agreement with the sentiment of the post" said the PAA in an interview Monday.

With over 90% of Jews endorsing the "Zionist" belief that Israel has a right to exist, Dr. Subeh’s statement is seemingly incompatible with a doctor’s duty to treat people regardless of their race or religion.

We must ask: Dr. Subeh does not want "Zionists in [his] spaces", what is he really saying? Do those spaces include hospitals, where likely spends most of his work week? What would happen if Dr. Subeh was able to infer that a patient was Zionist, such as if they wore a pendant necklace of Israel, a Magen David, or perhaps had an Israeli themed tattoo?

"Imagine if he takes this attitude with a patient wearing a Star of David comes in having a heart attack?" asked Physicians Against Antisemitism in their first post they created about him.

Dr. Subeh has established himself as a media personality, having spoken to news outlets including CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for...
, ABC News and CBS News about his recent medical mission trip to GazooDr. Subeh grew up in Gaza and has participated in anti-Israel protests while wearing a keffiyeh draped around his body, and has also recently shared false information about Israel on his feed, claiming that Israel blocks donations and cash transfers into Gaza because "Israel controls every shekel."

Dr. Subeh did not respond to an inquiry on how he would treat Jewish and Zionist patients. El Camino Health, his employer sent us a statement saying that his hospital is committed to providing compassionate care, high-quality care for all patients. They did not condemn nor endorse his views and did not state they would be investigating.

"Dr. Subeh's personal views are his own and do not reflect the values or practices of El Camino Health."
So long as the good doctor in no way allows his hate-filled heart to guide his medical head, sure. But if even one patient he might suspect of being Zionist or Jewish — people in this country often assume that a German or Slavic patronym is one of them, as conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer discovered to his bemusement, because he wasn’t — is given less than his best, his employer will also be legally liable, now that they are aware of the possibility.
Related: the good doctor’s LinkedIn page: there is much to be proud of there — he is clearly bright, hard-working, and entrepreneurial. If only he did not so assiduously love the vicious.

BBC shelves Gaza documentary over impartiality concerns
[IsraelTimes] Production team had accused Israel of war crimes; broadcaster keeps Irish band Kneecap in Glastonbury Festival despite group voicing support for Hezbollah, Hamas

The BBC said Friday it had decided not to air a documentary about doctors working in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
war, citing concerns over impartiality following public remarks by the production team accusing Israel of war crimes.

The documentary, ’Gaza: Doctors Under Attack,’ was commissioned by the BBC and produced by the independent company Basement Films. It was initially slated for broadcast in February but has not been aired on any BBC platform.

The British public broadcaster said in a statement it was "determined to report all aspects of the conflict in the Middle East impartially and fairly,"
...somebody has a peculiar sense of humour….
and confirmed it had chosen to transfer ownership of the film material back to the production company.

The BBC’s decision to withdraw the documentary was finalized on Thursday, shortly after the remarks were made public.

In a statement, Basement Films said it was "relieved that the BBC will finally allow this film to be released." The company is now expected to distribute the film independently.
Plenty of Jew-haters will be thrilled to pay for the privilege of seeing it.
In its statement, the BBC said it had commissioned the documentary over a year ago but paused the film in April, "having made a decision that we could not broadcast the film while a review into a separate Gaza documentary was ongoing."

In February, the news service was forced to apologize after it emerged that a new documentary titled "Gaza: How To Survive A Warzone" had been narrated by the son of Hamas’s former deputy minister of agriculture.

BBC chair Samir Shah said at the time that the documentary was a "dagger to the heart" of the broadcaster’s impartiality, and vowed that "appropriate action" would be taken.

The BBC said in its Friday statement that broadcasting this latest film "risked creating a perception of partiality that would not meet the high standards that the public rightly expect of the BBC,"
…a very peculiar sense of humour…
adding, "Any film broadcast will not be a BBC film."

Prior to the announcement of the decision, Basement Films founder Ben de Pear said on Thursday while speaking at the Sheffield Documentary Festival that the BBC had "utterly failed" and claimed journalists were being "stymied and silenced."

He further claimed staff at the BBC "are being forced to use language they don’t recognize, they are not describing something as it clearly is [for fear of impartiality] and it’s tragic," in relation to coverage of Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza.
    No doubt.
Another of the film’s directors, journalist Ramita Navai, also made comments during an appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Today program on Thursday, in which she accused Israel of being "a rogue state that’s committing war crimes and ethnic cleansing and mass murdering Paleostinians."

    Israel has strongly denied
    No, no! Certainly not!
allegations of war crimes or genocide during its ongoing military campaign in Gaza, which began after the October 7 Hamas-led attack on southern Israel that left some 1,200 people dead, mostly civilians, and saw over 250 people taken hostage.

BBC TO AIR KNEECAP ON DELAY
Separately on Friday, the broadcaster faced questions over its decision to include Irish rap group Kneecap in its Glastonbury coverage, after one of the group’s members was charged with a terrorism-related offense and the band was accused of promoting pro-Hezbollah and pro-Hamas messages, according to UK media reports.

Liam O’Hanna, 27, known by his stage name Mo Chara, appeared in court on Wednesday after being charged in May for displaying a Hezbollah flag during a London concert last November. He was ultimately released on bail.

Other videos circulating online appear to show a band member shouting, "Up Hamas, up Hezbollah."

The Iran-backed Lebanese Hezbollah terror group and the Paleostinian terror group Hamas are banned in the UK, and it is an offense to show support for them.

While the BBC won’t broadcast Kneecap’s performance live on one of its main TV channels, due to concerns that the group could violate the BBC’s editorial guidelines during a live set, the hour-long performance is expected to be made available on demand via BBC iPlayer after the event, allowing time for potential edits.

The Campaign Against Antisemitism urged the BBC to "carefully consider" its decision. "Despite our calls to remove the group from the line-up, the festival appears to be prioritizing profit over the safety of Jews," they said.

"Music fans are also understandably worried that our national broadcaster may find itself amplifying inflammatory messages."

The BBC has faced heavy scrutiny over the past 18 months for what many perceive to be an anti-Israel slant to its coverage of the war in Gaza, including its continued employment of a Gazook journalist who posted virulently antisemitic content on social media, and the recent resignation of high-profile presenter Gary Lineker after he shared an antisemitic Instagram story.

The broadcaster has been widely criticized by supporters of Israel for its refusal to describe Hamas as terrorists, even though the group’s military wing is proscribed by the United Kingdom as such, and even after the widespread documentation of its systematic targeting of civilians on October 7, 2023.

Alleged member of Iran’s IRGC arrested in Cyprus over plot to attack military bases
[IsraelTimes] Report says Azerbaijani national detained after security services received intel from ‘cooperating foreign service’; suspect seen taking photos at British, Cypriot bases on island

An alleged member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was arrested in Cyprus on suspicion of planning a terror attack, Cypriot media reported Saturday.

The individual appeared before a district court, which ordered an eight-day detention pending inquiries.

No further details would be issued, police said, citing national security.

According to Phile News, the Azerbaijani national was arrested on Friday after security services received "highly classified and reliable intelligence from a cooperating foreign service." The foreign intelligence identified the man as an IRGC operative, the report said.

The outlet said the suspect had been collecting intelligence since April about the presence of foreign military forces in Cyprus.

The report said the suspect lived in an apartment in Limassol, near British military bases and had been seen on an almost daily basis near the British military facilities in nearby Akrotiri while carrying a large camera with a telephoto lens, as well as three cellphones.

The report said the man seemed to be taking photos and writing notes.

RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus is Britannia’s largest air force base in the region and currently houses several Typhoon jets as part of the UK’s bolstering of forces in the region amid the conflict between Israel and Iran.

In addition, Phile News said, the suspect traveled by bus from Limassol to Paphos, where he took photos near the Cypriot military’s Andreas Papandreou air base.

The suspect will face charges of terrorism, espionage, conspiracy to commit a felony, and a number of other offenses, Phile News reported.

In addition to housing sensitive military facilities, Cyprus has become a hub for Israelis stranded while airspace is closed amid the fighting between Israel and Iran.

Frenchman Charged with Commissioning Online Pedophile Crimes in Colombia
[Breitbart] A 55-year-old Frenchman suspected of commissioning online pedophile crimes in Colombia has been arrested and charged in France, the Paris prosecutor’s office said on Saturday.

The suspect was charged this week with complicity in human trafficking involving minors under the age of 15 who had been raped, rape and sexual assault of minors including incestuous acts, as well as acquisition, possession and consultation of pornographic images of minors. He was remanded in custody.

The prosecutor’s office said it worked with Colombian authorities and that the operation led to the simultaneous arrests of the suspect, local perpetrators and middlemen, the so-called money runners. Several victims were also identified and sheltered.

Investigations revealed that the suspect had transferred more than 30,000 euros ($35,000) to several people in Colombia in exchange for images of young children being sexually abused, the prosecutor’s office said. Weapons were also found at the individual´s home.

Online pedophile crime, also known as livestreaming, involves commissioning sexual assaults and rapes of minors in other countries from one´s own country, generally in return for payment from the relatives of the victims, who are directly involved. The perpetrators then watch these videos live.

US Congressman files complaint against Ohio physician for assault using a motor vehicle, etc.
Stochastic jihad is the latest name for Sudden Jihad Syndrome. Nail him to the wall judicially speaking, Your Honour, as an example to the others.
[News5Cleveland] Rep. Max Miller says the driver who swerved at him on I-90 yelled, 'I’m going to kill you and your family'

Miller, who was driving alone at the time, detailed the incident in an interview with News 5

Rocky River Police are investigating after U.S. Rep Max Miller contacted them about a man driving on Interstate 90 who threatened him and his family and used antisemitic slurs. Miller told News 5 in an interview that the driver of the other vehicle was using it as a "weapon."

We spoke to the congressman today about what happened, and you can watch that story tonight on News 5 at 5.

Miller, a Republican from Rocky River, called the police just after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

According to the City of Rocky River, he told police he was driving on the highway when another motorist threatened him.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect, later identified as 36-year-old Feras S. Hamdam, of Westlake. Hamdam has since voluntarily turned himself in to the police department, the city said.

Hamdam is charged with aggravated menacing and ethnic intimidation. He's currently being held in jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond; he was also ordered to surrender his passport.

Hamdam is a doctor in Northeast Ohio.

News 5's John Kosich spoke with Miller on Friday about what happened:

"Here’s where it got very dangerous, and where it got very sobering, is that it went from an individual trying to get my attention that he couldn’t, and using his vehicle as a weapon to swerve into my lane to get my attention," Miller said.

He continued, "And that scared me. I’m not going to lie to anybody. You know, he was rummaging through his vehicle; I could see that he was screaming at me at the top of his lungs. What he ended up finding and what he presented to the window is that he held up his cell phone, and it had a Palestinian flag on it."

According to Miller, they slowed down to around 40-50 mph, and he rolled down his window to hear what the man was saying.

"He looked at me and said, 'You’re Max Miller, I know where you live; I’m going to kill you and your family,' and said, ‘Free Palestine and death to Israel,'” Miller told News 5.

Miller said he wants people to know that if they want to talk to an elected representative, there are ways to go about it, but this wasn't the way.

"I do feel that I was targeted on the freeway for being a Jewish American or a member of Congress who supports the state of Israel," he said.

Miller said he was alone in the car and didn't have his daughter or anyone else with him when the alleged road rage incident occurred.

"It actually gave me a beautiful perspective, which was that I was alone; I was able to keep calm, cool and collected, stay resilient in a very tumultuous situation, get his license plate number and hold him accountable," he said.

When asked about the rise of these types of incidents, Miller responded, "It's not only a rise in antisemitism on social media, we are now seeing people taking action to actually hurt individuals who either support the state of Israel or have the Jewish faith."

He told us that if someone is confronted in a similar situation, they should follow his example.

"The best thing anyone can do in a situation like this is, I believe, what I did. People like that want individuals like me to hide. I'm sure that individual wanted me to end the rest of my day and to go home and not finish my meetings, but I did, and that’s how I was raised, and that’s how you persevere, in my opinion," Miller said.

Following the incident, Miller went to work, and when he was finished, he signed a criminal complaint for aggravated menacing and a motion for a criminal protection order against the other driver.

Miller said he hopes his actions will help to deter other people from making reckless decisions like this.

"The biggest blessing from this is I know this is only going to make me stronger as an American, as a Jewish American, as somebody that is going to continue not just the fight against anti-semitism, but as well as Islamophobia and all forms of hate," Miller said.

The case is under investigation by local and federal authorities, including Rocky River Police, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the FBI and Capitol Police, among others.

    CAPITOL POLICE ISSUE STATEMENT
The U.S. Capitol Police gave the following statement about the incident:

After receiving notification about a threat towards a Member of Congress in Ohio, USCP Special Agents immediately deployed to the region where they worked with local and federal agencies relentlessly to locate 36-year-old Feras S. Hamdan of Ohio. He was arrested on charges of Aggravated Menacing. The investigation is still unfolding, but the USCP would like to thank our partners in this investigation for their information sharing and collaboration.

“In less than 24 hours, the USCP received notification of a threat against a Member of Congress, had boots on the ground, collaborated with the local police department, and the suspect in the case was arrested that same evening,” said Acting Chief Sean Gallagher. “This case is a prime example of the USCP’s stance towards threats against our elected officials. We will continue to have a zero-tolerance policy.”

More from the Times of Israel:
Miller, a former Trump aide and staunch supporter of Israel, condemned the attack in a post on X, writing in the caption, “As a Marine, a proud Jewish American and a staunch defender of Israel, I will not hide in the face of this blatant antisemitic violence.”

In a 911 call obtained by CNN, Miller can be heard describing the incident in which the suspect allegedly called him a “dirty Jew” to the operator.

“I’m on the freeway. I have somebody who has cut me off, who is flipping me off, who is showing me a Palestinian flag and is yelling to kill me,” said Miller.

“I was just driving to work and I was cut off by a man in a Tesla who held up a Palestinian flag to me and then rolled down his window and said that I’m going to cut your throat and your daughter’s. And he said you’re a dirty Jew. I’m going to f–king kill you all, and I know who you are and where you live,” Miller said in the call.
If the good doctor was driving a Tesla, there will be video of the incident.
Hamdan turned himself in to police and is currently awaiting a court appearance, according to Rocky River Police. An investigation is ongoing, according to the United States Capitol Police.

A LinkedIn account that appeared to belong to Hamdan and was disabled on Friday indicated that he was a physician who had worked in multiple roles around the Cleveland area.
    Fox8 Cleveland adds:
At his arraignment on Friday afternoon, Judge Burke referenced the recent attacks on two Minnesota state lawmakers, which authorities believe was politically motivated. Former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were slain in their home on June 14. State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife were also shot, but survived.

“Threats against elected officials — I’m just not gonna tolerate that,” Judge Burke said, later adding, “These are real serious allegations here. It’s not gonna happen on my watch. Someone’s gonna get harmed.”

Hamdan will also be made to surrender his passport upon his release from jail. He’ll also be placed under GPS monitoring. He has also consented to a no-contact protection order requested by Miller for himself and his family members.

Authorities are now working to obtain the cell phone with the Palestinian flag, as alleged in the complaint, O’Shea said Friday. He warned that anyone suspected of tampering with the phone could face a felony charge more serious than the charges currently against Hamdan. Hamdan’s attorney, Issa Elkhatib of Cleveland, on Friday said they do not intend to surrender the phone, considering it a violation of Hamdan’s First and Fourth amendment rights.

Elkhatib said Hamdan is a natural-born U.S. citizen, a licensed physician with his own private practice and “a model community member who has never committed a crime in his life.”
    Newsweek has a bit more:
According to Rocky River, Ohio, police, the incident occurred on June 15 when Hamdan allegedly tailgated Miller's vehicle, swerved erratically, and ultimately veered into his lane, causing the congressman to drive off the road to avoid a collision. Police said Miller's wife and 2-year-old son were also in the car at the time of the incident in the suburb of Cleveland.
This contradicts the original, local report that Congressman Miller was alone in the car.
While authorities have not disclosed Hamdan's alleged motive in detail,
    …the motive seems pretty obvious…
law enforcement indicated that his actions appeared intentional and targeted, prompting further legal scrutiny and public concern. The police report says that Hamdan allegedly honked his horn, shouted threats, and made aggressive gestures toward Miller while pursuing his vehicle. Witnesses said that Hamdan repeatedly attempted to block Miller's car from changing lanes before forcing it off the road.

Miller could also be heard on the 911 call saying that he had a weapon on him but was "glad I didn't use it."

According to police, the U.S. Capitol Police, Ohio State Highway Patrol, the FBI, and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Ohio are all involved in the investigation.

UK set to ban anti-Israel group Palestine Action after break-in, vandalism at air base
[IsraelTimes] British media reports government will make announcement on Monday after group broke into RAF Brize Norton base; Starmer condemns ‘disgraceful’ attack

The United Kingdom is set to move to proscribe Paleostine Action after activists from the anti-Israel group broke into a Royal Air Force base in central England, where they damaged and sprayed red paint over two military aircraft used for refueling and transportation, British media reported Friday.

According to the BBC and Sky News, the expected move by UK Home Secretary Yvette Cooper means that the organization will effectively be declared a terror organization. Cooper is expected to make the announcement on Monday, before legislation is advanced on the matter.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned Friday’s attack on the base as "disgraceful."

"The act of vandalism committed at RAF Brize Norton is disgraceful," Starmer said on X after campaign group Paleostine Action posted a video claiming to show its activists breaking into the Royal Air Force base in Oxfordshire.

In the video posted on X, the activists appear to spray a plane with red paint while roaming the base on scooters. The group said it had also sprayed paint on the runway and left a Paleostinian flag there.

Paleostine Action said two of its activists had entered the base in , spraying paint into the engines of the Voyager aircraft and causing further damage with crowbars.

"Britannia isn’t just complicit, it’s an active participant in the Gaza genocide and war crimes across the Middle East."

The activists left the base without being detained, Paleostine Action said.

Britannia’s defense ministry condemned the "vandalism" and said it was working with police to investigate.

"Our Armed Forces represent the very best of Britannia. They put their lives on the line for us, and their display of duty, dedication and selfless personal sacrifice are an inspiration to us all," it said. "It is our responsibility to support those who defend us."

The government said a "full security review" was underway at the air base.

"We’re reviewing security across the whole defense estate," a government spokesperson said, adding that the incident did not impact any aircraft movement plans or operations.

Police said they were investigating a report of people gaining access to the air base and causing criminal damage.

RAF Brize Norton serves as a hub for air-to-air refueling forces and supports overseas operations, including flights to the RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, Britannia’s largest air force base in the Middle East.

    Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Trump says US has bombed Fordo nuclear plant in attack on Iran UPDATE: Trump bombs 3 nuke sites
I don't know what with, as I am not sure the bombers could have gotten there yet... I guess we'll find out the details later.
[BBC] US strikes Iran nuclear sites, Trump says
    published at 18:58
Not giving the Mad Mullahs two weeks after all…
Donald Trump says the US has completed strikes on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordo, Natanz and Esfahan.

"We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space," he wrote on Truth Social.

Trump added that a "full payload of bombs" were dropped on Fordo and all planes were on their way back to the US.
Anyway, here's the list they had on the side of the main article:
    • Trump says the US has bombed nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordo
    • It was reported earlier that the US was sending B-2 stealth bombers to the US island of Guam - the only aircraft capable of carrying the bombs needed to destroy Iran's Fordo nuclear facility
    • Israel and Iran continue to exchange fire through the night; earlier Israel said it had targeted a "weapons depot" and "military infrastructure"
    • Earlier, Iran's foreign minister said US involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict would be "very very dangerous" while in Istanbul to meet the Turkish president
    • Israel's military said they killed three top Iranian military officials - including Saeed Izadi, described as being one of the architects of the 7 October attacks
    • BBC Verify has identified fresh damage to several buildings at an Iranian nuclear plant in the central city of Isfahan
    • In Iran, more than 400 people have been killed and 3,056 injured by Israeli strikes, authorities say; in Israel, 25 people have been killed by Iranian strikes and 2,517 injured since the conflict began, officials said

UPDATE: US Conducts Largest B-2 Bomber Deployment Ever, Strikes Iran’s Nuclear Sites With Over 125 Aircraft
US Air Force General Dan Caine confirmed that Sunday’s airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities marked the largest operational deployment of B-2 bombers in US history. The mission involved more than 125 military aircraft targeting Iran’s key sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Approximately 75 precision-guided weapons, including 14 Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOPs), were employed. Initial assessments show extreme damage and widespread destruction at all three facilities. The strikes began around 2:10 a.m. local time and concluded with Tomahawk cruise missile launches from US naval forces. The US maintained complete surprise, with Iran’s air defenses unable to detect the operation.

American Air Force General Dan Caine stated that numerous military assets remain airborne, with hundreds currently deployed as part of ongoing operations targeting Iran. They are unseen like kabuki. You would have a tough time convincing me that Nancy Pelosi is making brilliant stock trades in her doused and senile condition. She likely has delegated communication to her broken to someone. Her staffers are likely unusually rich. Congress needs to be briefed on these types of things, but using the military as little as possible is advisable.

Syria arrests Bashar al-Assad’s drug lord cousin
[Rudaw] Syrian security forces on Saturday detained Wassim al-Assad, cousin of toppled dictator Bashar al-Assad, according to state media.

He was detained in rural Homs, near the border with Lebanon.

“The Internal Security Forces, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Service, were able to arrest the criminal Wassim al-Assad on the Syrian-Lebanese border,” a security source in Homs told SANA.

The US sanctioned Wassim in 2023 for leading a paramilitary group for his cousin and trafficking captagon - the amphetamine drug that flooded the Middle East. During the Assad regime, Syria was a main supplier of the drug.

Assad and members of his family fled to Russia when his reign was ended by a coalition of rebel groups last December.

The grandfather of the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Syrsky took part in the battles near Stalingrad
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Red Army soldier Prokopiy Syrsky, grandfather of the current commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky, took part in the battles near Stalingrad during the "Demyansk operation" of 1942 as part of the 947th Artillery Regiment of the 384th Rifle Division. This is evidenced by the data of the award documents.

The battles for the town of Demyansk in the Novgorod region took place from January 1942 to February 1943 between the 16th Army of the Wehrmacht and the troops of the Northwestern Front. During the battle, six German divisions with a total of up to 100,000 people ended up in the so-called "Demyansk pocket", RIA Novosti cites data.

It is noted that the grandfather of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the Soviet offensive on the villages of Vyazovka and Olkhovets, discovered several enemy firing points that were hindering the infantry's advance. Syrsky promptly reported this to the command, and the enemy facilities were destroyed. His actions ensured the advance of the Red Army, the award sheet says.

Syrsky was awarded the medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" and the Order of the Red Star.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, the grandfather of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, Semyon Ivanovich, was a mortar platoon commander during the Great Patriotic War, and then a rifle company commander in the 174th regiment of the 57th Guards Rifle Division. He was awarded two Orders of the Red Star. He ended the war with the rank of Guards Lieutenant.

In April, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, noted that Zelensky, by refusing to celebrate May 9, was showing disrespect to his grandfather, who fought in the Great Patriotic War. In general, this also demonstrates the attitude of the Kiev regime to the defeat of fascism.

Iranian - Israeli War News roundup for June 21st, 2025: nuke scientist and IRGC Paleo div chief toes up, IDF hits more drones, F-14s, Isfahan again; Iran shoots off ballistic missiles and drones
Israeli army attacks drone depots and military facility in Iran
[Regnum] The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) depots and a military facility in Iran on the evening of June 21. This was reported by the army press service.

“The IDF is striking UAV depots and a military facility containing weapons in southwestern Iran in the Bandar Abbas area,” the Israeli military clarified on its Telegram channel.

Local residents and media reported the sounds of explosions and flashes from the fire.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, Iran began retaliatory strikes on Israel on the evening of June 13 after the IDF attacked the country. The parties continued to exchange strikes, and on June 15, Yemeni Houthis also struck Israel.

Russia has condemned Israel's attacks on Iran. President Vladimir Putin expressed concern about the conflict and Russia's readiness to undertake possible mediation efforts during talks with his American counterpart Donald Trump on June 14. The head of the White House also assessed the situation as very alarming. Then, on his social network Truth Social, the American leader wrote that he agreed with Putin and that the war between Iran and Israel must end.

The Israeli army launched a new series of strikes on Iran's missile infrastructure on the night of June 21. The attacked sites were located in the central part of the Islamic Republic. In turn, Iran also fired at Israeli territory at night.

Iran's President Threatens More Crushing Strike in Response to Israeli Attacks
Tehran will respond with more devastating blows if Tel Aviv continues its attacks, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on June 21 during a telephone conversation with French leader Emmanuel Macron.

“If the Israeli regime continues its aggression, Tehran will give a more crushing and decisive response,” the Iranian president’s press service quotes him as saying.

In addition, Pezeshkian noted: Tehran is ready to hold talks to confirm the peaceful nature of its nuclear program, but does not intend to completely abandon it.

Earlier on June 21, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic Abbas Araghchi said that Iran will not leave the US intervention in the conflict with Israel unanswered.

According to the diplomat, US President Donald Trump could convince Tel Aviv to stop attacks on Iranian targets and end the conflict with one phone call. At the same time, the head of the White House himself said that he would not appeal to the Israeli side to stop the strikes on the republic.

Iran launched a large-scale military operation against Iran on the evening of June 13 under the pretext of eliminating the threat of nuclear weapons. The Israeli army struck Iranian territory, killing several leaders of Iran's military departments. Tehran responded by striking Israeli targets. The sides continue to exchange blows.

Regnum News Agency observer Alexander Shchegolev noted in his article: the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East has taught Iran that no concessions in matters of the nuclear program will guarantee its security, unlike the nuclear bomb itself, if it were to be created.

Israel strikes nuclear facility in Iran's Isfahan - media
Israel has struck a nuclear facility in the Iranian city of Isfahan. This was reported by the Fars agency.

"A nuclear facility was attacked in Isfahan. There were no leaks of hazardous substances. There is nothing to worry about," the statement said.

According to the agency, the attack was carried out on the night of June 21. It is also specified that the attack was repelled by air defense systems.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on the night of June 13, Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran under the pretext of eliminating the threat of nuclear weapons. The Israeli army struck Iranian territory, killing several heads of Iran's military departments. Tehran responded by striking Israeli targets.

On June 17, the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that Israel's illegal attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities were pushing the world toward a nuclear catastrophe. As noted in the statement by the Foreign Ministry, the threats to international security created by the Jewish state were unacceptable. Moscow called on the parties to resolve the conflict diplomatically.

    Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Israel says killed two Iran Quds Force commanders
[Rudaw] Israel on Saturday claimed to have killed two commanders in Iran’s elite Quds Force.

“ELIMINATED: Saeed Izadi, a founder of the Iranian regime’s plan to destroy Israel, was eliminated in a precise IDF strike in the area of Qom,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on X.

The IDF said Izadi commanded the Palestine Corps of the Quds Force, the elite wing of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) primarily responsible for foreign operations, and accused him of being “one of the main orchestrators” of Hamas’ October 7, 2023 attack on Israel.

Izadi was sanctioned by the United States and United Kingdom over ties to Hamas.

The IDF said Izadi also directed Hamas forces operating in Lebanon.

The IRGC has not confirmed his death.

Tasnim News, which is affiliated with the IRGC, said a 16-year-old student was killed in an Israeli strike on a residential building in Qom on Saturday morning. In addition, 22 people were arrested in Qom accused of spying for Israel, according to Tasnim.

The IDF also claimed it killed Behnam Shahriyari, who commanded the Weapons Transfer Unit of the Quds Force, in a precision strike in western Iran.

“Shahriyari was responsible for all weapons transfers from the Iranian regime to its proxies across the Middle East in order to directly advance the Iranian regime’s plan to destroy Israel,” the IDF said.

Shahriyari was also sanctioned by the US and UK. In 2024, he was charged in the US with terrorism and evading sanctions as part of a billion-dollar network selling oil to fund the Quds Force.

His death has also not been confirmed by Iran.

In its operation against Iran, Israel has targeted the top echelon of Iran’s military, killing many senior commanders including IRGC commander General Hossein Salami, chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri, head of IRGC’s main operational command General Gholam Ali Rashid, and head of the IRGC’s aerospace division General Amir Ali Hajizadeh.

US strengthens missile destroyer group in Mediterranean
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The number of American missile destroyers with missile defense in the Mediterranean Sea has grown to five. This was reported by the naval publication USNI News, citing a source in the US Department of Defense.

“The United States has deployed five guided missile destroyers equipped with anti-missile weapons in the Mediterranean Sea,” the article says.

According to the source, the destroyers USS Paul Ignatius and USS Oscar Austin, based in Rota, Spain, entered the Mediterranean Sea. They joined the USS Arleigh Burke, USS Thomas Hudner and USS The Sullivans, which were already there. In addition, the guided missile destroyers USS Forrest Sherman and USS Truxtun are in the Red Sea.

All five destroyers are capable of intercepting ballistic missiles using the Standard Missile 3. Last year, the U.S. military used the SM-3 in combat for the first time to intercept an Iranian ballistic missile, the article said.

The US is moving the destroyers amid escalating conflict between Iran and Israel that began on June 13.

Earlier, the US Navy announced that a strike group led by the aircraft carrier USS Gerald Ford was moving to Europe. The ships will leave the US port on June 24.

Hot air balloon catches fire and crashes in Brazil, killing eight
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Eight people died as a result of a hot air balloon crash in southern Brazil. This was reported by the publication Correio Braziliense.

The tragedy occurred on the morning of June 21 in the state of Santa Catarina, in an area where hot air ballooning is popular. The balloon was flying over the city of Praia Grande and caught fire before crashing.

Footage posted online shows the basket engulfed in flames, after which the multi-colored shell burst and the remains of the balloon fell down.

There were 21 people on board, including the pilot. Rescue teams that arrived at the scene took 13 survivors to nearby hospitals. The causes of the incident are being determined.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, earlier in June in Turkey two pleasure balloons with tourists fell due to strong winds. One of the pilots died after falling out of the basket, more than 30 people were injured.

In early April, a hot air balloon crashed in the UAE with 12 tourists on board, including some from Russia. The balloon was supposed to fly for an hour at an altitude of 1,200 meters, but after 40 minutes of flight it suddenly tilted and fell down.

As a result, three people, including two Russians, were hospitalized. The organizers explained the incident by a sharp change in wind direction. As one of the injured Russians, who was traveling with her mother, said, many of the seat belts could not withstand the pressure during the hard landing and burst.

Kurdish-led forces report increased ISIS attacks in east Syria
[Rudaw] Kurdish-led security forces (Asayish) on Saturday said that they repelled an Islamic State (ISIS) attack in eastern Syria’s Deir ez-Zor province and warned of an increase of attacks in the area.

“On Friday at 10:30 pm, using a motorcycle and machine guns, an ISIS terrorist cell attacked the al-Atal roundabout checkpoint in the town of al-Shuhail. Our forces repelled the attack and forced the attackers to flee, without sustaining any casualties or damage,” the Asayish said in a statement.

It added that there has been an “intensification” of ISIS attacks in the area, particularly in and around the towns of al-Shuhail, Dhiban, and al-Busayrah on the Euphrates River about 90 kilometres from the Iraqi border.

The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the de facto army of northeast Syria (Rojava), has carried out numerous operations this year to counter what they say is a resurgence in ISIS activity targeting both their forces and civilians.

ISIS and its so-called “caliphate” was territorially defeated in 2019, but the group has recently sought to regain ground, taking advantage of instability in Syria following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

Earlier in June, the United States killed an ISIS official “who was involved in planning external operations threatening US citizens, our partners, and civilians” in an airstrike in northwest Syria.

    Home Front: WoT
Hezbollah sleeper cells and IRCG networks, oh my! U.S. Ramps Up Surveillance
[ZeroHedge] President Trump stated Thursday that a potential U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear targets could occur within a two-week window. This announcement aligns with an uptick in U.S. military activity across the USNORTHCOM, USEUCOM, and USCENTCOM theaters, including airlift missions, the deployment of aerial refueling tankers, and the repositioning of naval assets—indicators consistent with pre-strike staging. While officially framed around countering Iran's nuclear program, the operation so far suggests regime change.

Simultaneously, in the Homeland, concerns are flourishing over the possible activation of Iran-backed operatives. According to CBS News, intelligence and law enforcement officials remain focused on Hezbollah-linked sleeper cells and IRGC proxy networks, which could be directed to carry out retaliatory actions if the U.S. initiates kinetic attacks against Iran to support Israel.

Here's more from CBS News, citing multiple sources...

As President Trump is contemplating potential U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, law enforcement officials have stepped up surveillance of Iran-backed operatives in the United States, multiple sources told CBS News.

FBI Director Kash Patel has increased efforts to monitor possible domestic sleeper cells linked to Hezbollah — a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization backed by Iran — since Israel's Operation Rising Lion offensive began earlier this month, U.S. officials said.

    ...

The threat from Iranian operatives has worried current and former administration officials since Iranian General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated on Mr. Trump's orders in January 2020.

    CBS noted:

Late last year, federal prosecutors charged an operative of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and two U.S.-based people with plotting to surveil and assassinate critics of the Iranian regime. The IRGC operative allegedly told investigators he was pushed by unnamed IRGC officials to plan an attack against Mr. Trump.

The threat on the Homeland has never been graver given the Biden-Harris regime of globalists facilitated the greatest invasion this nation has ever seen on the southern border, with millions of unvetted migrants, criminals, cartel gangsters, and terrorists.

In late 2024, former CIA targeting officer Sarah Adams spoke on the Shawn Ryan Show about Al-Qaeda terrorists on American soil.

Ryan asked Adams: "I just want to clarify. You are 100% certain that there are 1,000 plus Al-Qaeda-trained fighters within the U.S. borders?"

Adams, currently a global threat advisor with extensive experience in Middle Eastern affairs, responded: "Well, Al-Qaeda says they trained and deployed a thousand for this attack. First off, I think there are more than a thousand Al-Qaeda members in the United States, but for the Homeland Attack, that number is based on what Al-Qaeda is saying, so they could exaggerate it; however, they did have about 1,400 in the Hamas Attack so the number is not off from what they did in the first round of attacks."

Frightening information to hear. Former CIA targeting officer Sarah Adams is warning of an IRGC U.S. Homeland attack in retaliation for Soleimani. She says 1,000 or more terrorists may already be here and discusses the “Invisible Bomb” undetectable to magnetometers and now… pic.twitter.com/tVGLhHGqZI

    — Johnny St.Pete (@JohnMcCloy) December 28, 2024

The overlap between the Israel-Iran conflict and an elevated U.S. counter-terrorism posture signals a rising domestic threat environment should President Trump decide on direct military action. Open southern borders over the past four years via the globalists in the Biden-Harris regime have markedly increased uncertainty about the number of IRGC- or Hezbollah-linked operatives inside the country. In the event of a U.S. strike on Iran, these terror networks could conduct retaliatory attacks against high-visibility or soft targets.

    Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
    Tactical group 'Ugledar' disbanded
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text taken from the Telegram page of @voin_dv

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin is in italics.

[ColonelCassad] The Commander of the Ukrainian Tactical Group "Ugledar" Has Been Removed

Almost simultaneously with the liberation of the settlement of Zaporizhia in the DPR, news came about the dismissal of Sergei Naev from the post of commander of the tactical group "Ugledar" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The group itself was disbanded.

In February 2025, after taking office, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev stated the following:

the Ukrainian military is quite capable of reaching the borders of 1991 and even creating a buffer zone around Ukraine.

Summing up the results of his work, we can safely say that Mr. Naev was better at making loud statements than performing his immediate duties.

From the end of February to June 21, 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to lose 427 square kilometers of territory and 13 settlements in this direction - Konstantinopol, Dneproenergiya, Privolnoye, Volnoye Pole, Vesyoloye, Razliv, Bogatyr, Zelenoye Pole, Novopol, Otradnoye, Fyodorovka, Komar. Zaporizhia became a kind of "demobilization chord" for Mr. Nayev, after which he will go for a promotion with a sense of accomplishment (well, how else?).

Nayev began his service as commander of the "Ugledar" Tactical Group with a loud statement, and he ended it with the same one:

Despite the enemy's numerical superiority in manpower and equipment, we managed to improve the tactical situation five times, lure the enemy into a trap and destroy his equipment seven times. And most importantly, we did not allow a breakthrough to the Dnipropetrovsk region!

Well, as they say, the result is there. Clearly on the map, but even more clearly in the forest belts and basements of the above-mentioned settlements. It is from there that the results of Nayev's leadership will be extracted by the "evil orcs" and sent in refrigerated trucks during the next transfer of the bodies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine servicemen to the Ukrainian side.

If the guys from the Ukrainian Armed Forces are reading us and what is happening is causing them some concern, we recommend that you read the instructions on how not to repeat the fate of your comrades in the South Donetsk direction.

The offensive in the southwest of the DPR continues successfully.

General Nayev, who criticized Zelensky, was removed from his post as commander of the group

Lieutenant General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Serhiy Nayev was dismissed from the post of commander of the tactical group "Ugledar" after he criticized the head of the Kiev regime Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Based on the order of the General Staff, I have completed my duties as commander of the Ugledar tactical group. Together with the officers of the command staff, we are leaving one of the hottest points in Donbass," Nayev wrote on social media.

According to him, further execution of combat missions in this direction will be assigned to one of the newly formed corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In February 2024, Zelensky dismissed Nayev from the post of commander of the joint forces of Ukraine, after which he did not hold any regular positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine until the winter of 2025. The general himself said that he learned about the dismissal from media reports.

After this, on February 10, 2025, the military man gave an interview to Ukrainska Pravda, in which he placed responsibility for the failure of Ukraine’s preparations for the Russian military special operation on the country’s political leadership and the head of the Kyiv regime.

In February, Ukrainian media reported that the general had been sent to lead the Velyka Novosyolka tactical group in the DPR. This settlement was liberated by Russian troops on January 26. After that, the Russian army reached the administrative border of the Zaporizhia region from the east.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, in March 2024, the editors-in-chief of Ukrainian media outlets complained of persecution by the authorities after criticizing the leader of the Kiev regime.

According to the editor-in-chief of Ukrainska Pravda, Sevgil Musayeva, two sources confirmed that the Ukrainian leadership initiated the persecution of the press. This began after the publication of articles about the conflict between Zelensky and former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny.

Suspected Iranian drones, missile fragments fall in Kurdistan Region
[Rudaw] A suspected Iranian drone crashed in the Makhmour district of Nineveh province on Saturday. Separately, a fire broke out in Sulaimani province and officials suspect it was caused by drone or missile fragments.

"At around 1:00 pm, a fire broke out near Sheikh Mansourian village and we haven't been able to control it," Kamaran Abdullah, the administrator of Khalakan sub-district, told Rudaw. Khalakan is located near Dukan Lake.

Abdullah said locals and officials searched for the source of the fire with no luck and have speculated that "a drone or missile fragment has fallen," causing the blaze, though this has not been confirmed.

Separately, a drone crashed in the Makhmour district of Nineveh province.

Ghazi Faisal, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) Makhmour office, told Rudaw that the drone crashed without any explosion.

"We suspect it's an Iranian drone. We have informed the Iraqi forces and they went to retrieve it," he said.
Quality control is key. This one failed the Three Sigma test without the IDF needing to exert itself
The Kurdistan Region and Iraq lie under the flight path of Iranian drones and missiles aimed at Israel. There have been multiple reports of drones and debris falling from the sky, sometimes sparking fires.

    -Lurid Crime Tales-
Mexican Truck Driver Arrested for Smuggling 300 Pounds of Meth into Texas Port of Entry
Attempting to, anyway. That’s why Texas has its own Border Patrol — good job, guys!
[Breitbart] Texas Department of Public Safety special agents seized approximately $2.4 million worth of methamphetamine after Customs and Border Protection officers discovered the load being smuggled into Texas from Mexico. Troopers arrested the driver for allegedly smuggling the drugs into the United States.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott posted photos of the seized drugs and the driver who was arrested by DPS troopers earlier this week. The photos show nearly 400 bundles of the highly addictive drug that CBP Office of Field Operations officers found during an inspection at the Pharr Port of Entry.
Should've been able to smell it
CBP officers conducted a commercial vehicle inspection on a 2012 Freightliner tractor-trailer as the driver approached from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, according to an article posted on the governor’s website. The officers referred the driver to a secondary inspection station and contacted Texas DPS special agents after discovering a false compartment in the trailer. A search of the compartment led to the discovery of more than 390 bundles that tested positive for meth. The DPS agents seized the drugs and arrested 28-year-old Luis Fernando Sarinana Matias, a Mexican national from Reynosa.

Officials estimated the street value of the meth to be more than $2.4 million. The driver is charged with possession of a controlled substance. Additional or more severe charges will likely be filed.

In March, CBP officers seized another load of methamphetamine at the same border crossing point. A CBP K-9 alerted to the possible presence of drugs during a secondary inspection and discovered 960 packages containing nearly 300 pounds of the illicit drug. Officers seized the drugs and turned them and the driver over to ICE Homeland Security Investigations.
