Children's Hospital whistleblower, Dr. Eithan Haim
[YouTube] Dr. Jordan Peterson sits down with trauma surgeon and whistleblower, Dr. Eithan Haim. They discuss the Texas Children’s Hospital, their illegal continuation of gender affirming care, the pathology and lies attached to the treatments, and why Dr. Haim blew the whistle when so many in his field remain silent (or worse, lie).

Dr. Haim is a General and Trauma Surgeon in Greenville, Texas. He recently finished his general surgery training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he was a resident from 2018 to 2023. During this time, he helped expose Texas Children’s Hospital, the largest children’s hospital in the world, for lying to the public about the existence of their pediatric sex change program.

This episode was recorded on June 19th, 2024

Dr. Peterson's extensive catalog is available now on DailyWire+: https://bit.ly/3KrWbS8

Blast Waves May Partially Explain Suicide Tragedy Befalling U.S. Military, Vets
[Defense Opinion] A far-reaching study by Navy researchers has found that exposure to munitions blast waves from combat and training may be causing brain injuries the aggregation of which is resulting serious and often deadly ailments such as depression, PTSD and suicide.

Years of prior research with animals has already documented an association between exposure to pressure waves from munitions blasts, known as overpressure, and behaviors mimicking depression. But the new findings are particularly important because they validate that the same phenomenon is occurring in U.S. military members, echoing what some advocates for veterans have been saying all along as suicide rates have dramatically climbed.

"The current research suggests a similar pattern in humans, which may also inform our understanding of the possible associations between overpressure and suicide that has been posited elsewhere," researchers from the Naval Health Research Center found.

In another key finding, the Navy research "is the first to document an association between overpressure exposure and self-reported diagnoses of chronic fatigue syndrome specifically, though again the mechanism for this effect is still unclear."

The researchers theorize that undiagnosed symptoms arising from overpressure exposure may impair the ability to get high-quality sleep, a factor in suicidal ideation. "Alternatively, it is possible that the shockwaves associated with overpressure may damage certain regions of the brain like the thalamus, which has been implicated in sleep-wake cycles. Given the importance of both suicide and sleep in military populations, understanding these associations more fully represents exciting avenues for future research," they concluded.

Medical records from thousands of service members analyzed
The researchers analyzed survey data collected between 2011 and 2013 from 138,949 service members and focused much of their analysis on incoming blasts from enemy munitions, such as improvised explosive devices, and outgoing blasts occurring when service members fire their own weapons in training or combat.

Service members exposed to repeated incoming enemy blast waves had higher risks for PTSD and depression than those exposed to only one incoming blast or no blast. Repeated exposure to both enemy blast waves and blasts during training or combat also increased the risks of migraines and PTSD.

More here from the NYT but paywalled.

Jill Biden Refuses To Drop Out Of Presidential Race
[BEE] WASHINGTON, DC — Following the disastrous Presidential debate, First Lady Jill Biden announced she will not drop out of the race despite growing calls from within the party to do so.

"Over my husband's dead body!" Mrs. Biden declared. "The nomination is MINE. You hear me, Joe Scarborough? MINE! Now get back to work, fools!"

Many on the left have called for President Biden to step down after his mental decline was put on national display, however Jill Biden has forcefully refused. "Joe isn't going anywhere!" screamed Ms. Biden as a frightened Joe tried to appeal for help. "Shut up, Joe! I didn't drag your bag of bones through primary season to quit now. Get a juice box and get back on stage!"

With even liberal outlets like the New York Times calling for Biden to step aside for a younger, living candidate, the Biden campaign has thus far remained unmoved. A defiant Jill Biden returned to the campaign trail Thursday in an effort to reassure supporters she is still in the game. "Look how alive Joe looks! Who's a good boy?! We're not going anywhere. Four more years!"

As of publishing time, Jill Biden announced Joe would be placed in a cryogenic sleep until after the election and she would continue to run the country in the interim.

Europe
Macron just threw a live grenade at his own feet
[RT] The French president could be on the verge of regime-changing himself, with his establishment party’s support below that of the opposition

The latest French national polls show a final face off between the anti-establishment right and left, and the total decimation of President Emmanuel Macron’s Renaissance party. Looks like he may have fooled himself into thinking that dumping all over the political chessboard was a big-brained three-dimensional move.

In the wake of the anti-establishment National Rally party winning the European elections by a landslide, with more than double the score of Macron’s party, the usual suspects started chewing up the scenery with riots and unrest. All the National Rally needs to do is film it to create a campaign ad for themselves heading into the French national elections that Macron called in a double-or-nothing bet with the French people. Because Macron did that. And it’s the National Rally that has long campaigned on the promise of putting an end to it.

It finally looks like enough French voters aren’t scared into denying Le Pen’s party the opportunity. The far-right label just doesn’t act as the kind of knee-jerk deterrent that it once did. And why should it? “France is on the brink of all-out civil conflict,” headlined Britain’s Telegraph. That has happened under Macron, not Le Pen, as he rammed through his establishment agenda piece by piece with his designated prime minister invoking Article 49.3 of the French Constitution to ram through legislation without a vote at least 23 times, totally overriding the democratic process – the second most since the Fifth Republic began in 1958. Its use to move the goalposts on retirees and make them work longer when France is a global taxation champion that robs them of hard earned cash their entire working lives, under the pretext of getting it back when they retire, would explain why the majority of retirees who voted massively for Macron no longer tell pollsters that they will. His support has dropped to just 28%, according to the latest Ifop poll.

According to Le Monde, Macron said of his snap election call: “I’ve been preparing this for weeks, and I’m thrilled. I threw my unpinned grenade at their legs. Now we’ll see how they manage.” Looks like they’re managing just fine, actually. Macron’s party? Not so much. Next time, try putting a little more oomph behind that grenade toss, so it doesn’t just risk rolling back and blowing up in your face. The latest Ifop poll predicts the establishment’s total elimination after the first round of voting on June 30 with a mere 19% of the vote, and the two top parties heading to the second round on July 7 being the right and left anti-establishment at 35% and 26% respectively. And if lawlessness and violence keeps plaguing the streets between now and then, voters will fully understand that it was Macron who lit the match and the left that figured dumping fuel on the fire by trying to present the defeat of their right wing opponents as the solution to calming the unrest was somehow a winning strategy. Odds are that they’ll feel blackmailed and only be more motivated to vote accordingly. Ask German Chancellor Olaf Scholz how all the protests against the anti-establishment so-called “far-right” AfD worked out for him. They came in second, making gains in the EU vote, and his party came in third with its worst ever showing. Turns out that voters don’t really like to feel that they’re somehow being manipulated.

Macron may think that he incited panic for survival in opposing political camps – the president of the establishment right’s Les Républicains proposed an alliance with Le Pen, then briefly barricaded himself inside party headquarters so his colleagues couldn’t gather to oust him. And the smaller anti-establishment right party Reconquête, founded by Eric Zemmour, ended up kicking out four of its five elected Eurodeputies when Marion Marechal (Marine Le Pen’s niece and number one on Reconquête’s EU electoral list) joined forces with her aunt’s party instead of dividing the vote. But Macron would have barely been able to settle in with his popcorn before the sideshows ended.

It’s just such a big mystery how it’s come to this, and how the establishment in France and in Europe totally lost the plot.

In May 2023, Reuters reported that the EU had approved $1.61 billion to buy out Dutch farmers whose cattle were deemed overly enthusiastic with their belching, peeing, and defecating. The farmers then started a political party called the Farmer-Citizen movement, backing the anti-establishment Geert Wilders, whose party won the general elections in November 2023, then went on to a second place finish (and a six seat gain) in the EU vote.

In Germany, as farmers and truckers gathered at Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to protest the EU establishment’s crushing bureaucracy on everything from climate change to Ukraine, the misplaced priorities and inability to make ends meet resonated so loudly with the average German that 69% of them backed the protest movement – which would explain the second place finish of the anti-establishment party (the AfD) attacked by the establishment as being in cahoots with the farmers. Turns out that a whole lot of Germans were, too.

In France, 90% of voters backed French farmer protests and were disgusted when Macron showed up at the annual Paris International Agricultural Fair with a bunch of riot squad goons who unloaded their tear gas on presumably innocent cows (although who knows, maybe they were silently setting off some planet-killing farts) while he ran from an initial confrontation with angry farmers. And well, what do you know. It turns out that 90% support for the farmers roughly translated into 93% of French communes voting for the National Rally in the EU elections.

Surely it’s all just a big coincidence. Who knew that messing with people’s food and livelihood while focusing on costly ideological priorities that are mainly of interest to the little elite cabal in charge would ever be the recipe for regime change? But the question now is whether Macron, having bet it all and lost, would cling to power like leaders he denounces. Or whether he’d abide by his own stated democratic principles and resign, as the majority (57%) of French say they’d want him to do.

Should Gun Store Sales Get Special Credit Card Tracking? States Split on Mandating or Prohibiting it
[Newsmax] Beginning Monday, a California law will require credit card networks like Visa and Mastercard to provide banks with special retail codes that can be assigned to gun stores in order to track their sales.

But new laws will do the exact opposite in Georgia, Iowa, Tennessee and Wyoming by banning the use of specific gun shop codes.

The conflicting laws highlight what has quietly emerged as one of the nation's newest gun policy debates, dividing state capitols along familiar partisan lines.

Some Democratic lawmakers and gun-control activists hope the new retail tracking code will help financial institutions flag suspicious gun-related purchases for law enforcement agencies, potentially averting mass shootings and other crimes. Lawmakers in Colorado and New York have followed California's lead.

"The merchant category code is the first step in the banking system saying, `Enough! We’re putting our foot down,'" said Hudson Munoz, executive director of the nonprofit advocacy group Guns Down America. "`You cannot use our system to facilitate gun crimes.’"

But many Republican lawmakers and gun-rights advocates fear the retail code could lead to unwarranted suspicion of gun buyers who have done nothing wrong. Over the past 16 months, 17 states with GOP-led legislatures have passed measures prohibiting a firearms store code or limiting its use.

"We view this as a first step by gun-control supporters to restrict the lawful commerce in firearms," said Lawrence Keane, senior vice president of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, an industry group that backs laws blocking use of the tracking code.

The new laws add to the wide national divide on gun policy. This past week, U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy declared gun violence a public health crisis, citing a rising number of firearm-related deaths, including more than 48,000 in 2022. The move was quickly criticized by the National Rifle Association.

The ‘EU Defense Line’ Is The Latest Euphemism For The New Iron Curtain
[ZH] Poland and the Baltic States just requested EU funding to finance what they now call the “EU Defense Line”, which is really just the latest rebranding of January’s “Baltic Defense Line” that was then renamed the “Baltic Shield” before its latest iteration. It was during this project’s second conceptual phase that it paired with Poland and set the basis for a joint “Shield” initiative. Here are five background briefings for those readers who haven’t closely followed this project:

Government Corruption
Sex, Lies, and Racial Hysteria: The Quiet J6 Killing of Rosanne Boyland
[American Greatness] One wonders what thoughts passed through the fevered mind of Officer Lila Morris as she struck the seemingly lifeless Rosanne Boyland over the head with a branch, then struck her again, and then struck her a third time so hard that the branch snapped in half.

If Morris thought Boyland a hateful white supremacist who deserved her fate, one could, if not forgive her, at least understand how she came to think that way. For the last two years, Morris had heard little else about these MAGA minions and the monster who led them.

President-elect Joe Biden had set the tone when he launched his presidential campaign in April 2019, implying President Donald Trump had called the neo-Nazis involved in the Charlottesville dust-up "very fine people." No major candidate has ever begun a presidential campaign with a more divisive and slanderous opening gambit (one that Snopes conceded was false just this past week).

Biden continued the slander throughout the campaign. Just four weeks before the 2020 election, he weighed in on the well-timed bust of an FBI-massaged plot to kidnap Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer. "There is a through line from President Trump’s dog whistles and tolerance of hate, vengeance, and lawlessness to plots such as this one," fumed Biden. "He is giving oxygen to the bigotry and hate we see on the march in our country."

If Morris feared the depredations of these Hun-like hordes, she was in good company. "Just remember, we’re on the right side of history," Rep. Val Demings told a colleague as they huddled fearfully in the House gallery on January 6. "If we all die today, another group will come in and certify those ballots."

"White supremacy and patriarchy are very linked in a lot of ways," congressional drama queen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told CNN’s Dana Bash. "There’s a lot of sexualizing of that violence. And I didn’t think that I was just going to be killed. I thought other things were going to happen to me as well." When Bash asked AOC if she thought she was going to be raped, AOC answered, "Yeah, yeah. I thought I was."

The left has been feeding its base a steady diet of racial fear and loathing for generations. Ocasio-Cortez is Puerto Rican. Demings and Morris black. Also black is Michael Byrd, the Capitol Police lieutenant (now captain) who shot and killed January 6 protestor and Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt. Babbitt and Boyland were both white. The phrase "had the races been reversed" is such a manifest truism that pundits on the right no longer bother to complete the thought

If the shooting death of the attractive 35-year-old Babbitt was too public to ignore, the death of the obscure 34-year-old Boyland was not. Biden’s incoming Department of Justice preferred to keep it that way. The nature of that death raised troubling questions not only about race but also about sex.

Florida authorities shut down a fentanyl trafficking ring, 64 people arrested
[JustTheNews] A multi-agency operation has crippled another fentanyl trafficking ring, this time in Lakeland, Florida. They seized enough fentanyl to kill 371,000 Floridians.

A multi-agency operation led by Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd’s office has crippled another fentanyl trafficking ring, this time in Lakeland, Florida.

It comes on the heels of another successful drug bust Judd announced in April after investigators disrupted a Mexican drug trafficking organization operating in several states. Through that organization, they seized the largest amount of fentanyl in county history – enough to kill one-third of the state's population, The Center Square reported.

The latest operation, Operation Rooske, took three years, and culminated with the arrests of 64 people. The drug trafficking organization, investigators found, was being run out of two small businesses, a fish-and-bait shop and a motorcycle shop. The drugs were then sold and distributed in Polk and Osceola counties.

Operation Rooske began in January 2021 when detectives initially believed they were investigating a low-level street dealer. They soon realized the alleged drug dealers were “cranking out 500 to 1,000 bags” of 2/10 of a gram of fentanyl, Judd said at a news conference on Friday.

He held up a small dime-sized bag of flour to illustrate how much fentanyl was being sold. As a result of their investigation, they seized enough fentanyl to kill 371,000 Floridians.

“In essence, this fentanyl trafficking organization was the family business,” Judd said. “The motorcycle shop and the bait shop were corrupt businesses that were used as a means for money laundering. Their customers weren’t involved; they had no idea what was going on. In fact, the owners tried to project a wholesome facade while conducting their criminal enterprise behind the scenes until it all came crashing down on them, thanks to the fantastic work by our detectives.”

The sheriff’s office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Attorney General Ashley Moody’s Office of Statewide Prosecution were involved in the investigation.

Organized Crime Unit detectives from the PCSO and special agents from FDLE conducted multiple undercover purchases of fentanyl from the bait and tackle and motorcycle parts shops. They were able to build a case and eventually arrest who they characterized as the leader of the organization, a 43-year-old Lakeland resident whose key co-conspirators were his wife and daughter.

On June 20, six search warrants were served in Polk and Osceola counties resulting in investigators seizing more than 742 grams of fentanyl, more than 13 grams of methamphetamine, more than 228 grams of marijuana with a combined street value of more than $475,000. They also seized assets worth more than $600,000.

“While most of the arrests were buyers of illegal drugs from the Rooske organization, detectives used those arrests to lead back to and build a case against the organization,” the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators found that the group generally sold small quantities of drugs attempting to avoid being detected. They also used “countersurveillance techniques,” including having cameras outside of their residences and businesses, using multiple cellphones and changing the location of their drug deals, investigators found.

Moody’s office charged nine defendants with felony counts of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, conspiracy to commit RICO, and fentanyl trafficking among other charges.

“Florida leads the nation in fentanyl seizures, and this case is yet another example of how Sheriff Grady Judd and his deputies are leaders in helping us remove deadly drugs from our streets,” Moody said. “Working with Polk County deputies and FDLE, we were able to seize 742 grams of fentanyl in two counties. That is enough poison to kill 371,000 Floridians, and I have no doubt that this drug-interdiction operation saved lives.”

Her office is prosecuting nine cases, the remaining single-judicial circuit cases will be handled by the local state attorney, her office said.

Judd announced the results of their investigation one week after Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood announced the result of a major drug bust in Volusia and Putnam counties, The Center Square reported.

That was after another multi-agency effort busted a human trafficking ring tied to the border operating in Manatee and Hillsborough counties, The Center Square reported.

Fifth Column
Anti-Israel activists call for militancy instead of protests at Trump-Biden debate
[JPost] Anti-Israel activists called for a shift from protests to militancy and violent revolution at protests against the presidential debate between US President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump in Atlanta on Thursday.

"We say f**k the police, we will burn it down and take what is ours in the streets. And that isn't an empty threat, its a promise," said a woman speaking to around a hundred activists in a protest organized by Palestine Action US. "The days of protests are behind us, and to be peaceful in the belly of the beast that commits unlimited genocide on the global south is a disgrace. It is time we follow the lead of militants of oppressed nations. It is time to change our orientation from one of protest to resistance."

Advertisement for the "stop the debate" protest explained that both Biden and Trump were part of a system that needed to be upended, calling the choice between Democrat and Republican a "false choice. In a video published by Palestine Action US, the speaker calling for the beheading of the "two-headed beast."

OPTING FOR A 'TACTICAL RETREAT'
Escalate network said on X on Friday that the protesters had opted for a "tactical retreat" when confronted by police. The group claimed that a speaker cited the philosophy of deceased terrorist Basel Al-Araj, and told other protesters "we fight when we are ready, not when the enemy is ready."

The Party for Socialism and Liberation also held protests outside the CNN Atlanta studio where the debate was held. PSL's own presidential candidate, Claudia De la Cruz joined the pro-Palestinian protests.

"As Genocide Joe and arch-racist Donald Trump each clamored to call themselves bigger supporters of Israel and the war machine than their opponent, more and more people reject the two-party system and desire a alternative," PSL Atlanta said on Instagram on Saturday. "No matter who takes the presidency in November, we will not let up until we get a permanent ceasefire, an end to the occupation, and an end to all U.S. aid to Israel! We must build a mass movement that will tear down this unjust system!"

Atlanta Democratic Socialists of America and Atlanta Multifaith Coalition for Palestine also participated in the PSL protests.

One photograph shared on Saturday on Instagram by the coalition said that the "whole damn system's got to go."

Atlanta DSA said on Saturday on social media that neither Trump nor Biden represented the "will of working people."

Africa Subsaharan
At least 18 killed in suspected suicide attacks in Nigeria
[BBC] At least 18 people have been killed and 30 injured in a series of deadly blasts in Nigeria thought to have been carried out by female suicide bombers.

One of the bombings is reported to have killed six people and injured others at a wedding ceremony on Saturday, in the northeastern Borno state.

The state's emergency management agency said the co-ordinated attacks targeted a wedding, the victims' subsequent funeral and a hospital in the town of Gwoza.

President Bola Tinubu condemned the attacks calling them "desperate acts of terror" in a statement shared by his media aide on Facebook. He vowed stern action against those responsible for the killings in the town of Gwoza and insisted that the incident had not undermined recent gains made against jihadists.

"The president declares that the purveyors of wanton violence shall have a certain encounter with justice, and that these cowardly attacks are only but an isolated episode as his government will not allow the nation to slither into an era of fear, tears, sorrow, and blood," it read.

No-one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but the Nigeria-centred Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) insurgents have previously claimed deadly bombings in Borno.

In the last four months, attackers have twice targeted people through suicide and improvised explosive devices in Borno state.

Borno state has been at the centre of a 15-year insurgency by Boko Haram Islamist militants, which has displaced more than two million people and killed more than 40,000.

Boko Haram gained international notoriety in 2014 when it kidnapped more than 270 schoolgirls from the town of Chibok, also in Borno state.

Authorities said 18 deaths had been confirmed on Saturday, a toll that included children, adults and pregnant women.

Some local media have reported a much higher toll - Nigeria's Vanguard and This Day newspapers said at least 30 had been killed in the blasts.

A curfew has been imposed by the military.

Gwoza was seized by Boko Haram in 2014, and taken back by the Nigerian forces in 2015 - but the group has since continued to carry out attacks and kidnappings near the town.

Last November, 20 people were killed by Boko Haram insurgents while returning from a funeral service in neighbouring Yobe state.

The attack happened a day after militants killed 17 people in a raid on Gurokayeya village, after villagers refused to pay a so-called harvest tax, police said.

Illegal Man charged with murder of 21-month-old toddler in Chester County, Penn.
[LawAndCrime] While the D.A. wouldn't say if the defendant was here illegally.

"I can tell you he has an ICE detainer on top of the $10 million bail," de Barrena-Sarobe said.

A 30-year-old man in Pennsylvania is accused of killing a 21-month-old boy in his care, allegedly getting frustrated with his girlfriend’s child crying and punching the boy in the stomach with such force that he died.

Enrique Lopez Gomez was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with one count of third-degree murder and one count of involuntary manslaughter, among other related offenses, authorities announced.

According to a report from Philadelphia NBC affiliate WCAU, Gomez had been dating the victim’s mother for about six months and was considered an “unofficial” stepfather to the toddler.

In the criminal complaint, authorities said that the boy’s mother had gone to work and left her son in the care of Gomez. Gomez reportedly was trying to change the boy’s diaper but got angry when the child wouldn’t stop crying and punched him in the stomach then put him down for a nap.

When the mother came home, she merely thought the boy was sick and took him to her sister’s house. Gomez did not tell anyone he had struck the child despite the boy’s health declining for several hours, prosecutors said.

Caribbean-Latin America
Shock reality for US of Venezuela's epic drop in MURDER as 'thugs who think crime is part of regular...
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] … life' come to America.

Violent deaths in Venezuela have plummeted to a 22-year low as criminals increasingly join the millions fleeing the broke socialist nation - many of them entering the US to pursue their own twisted version of the American dream.

Once deemed the world's most dangerous city, Caracas has seen homicides fall by a staggering 25 percent when compared to 2023, with the Venezuelan Violence Observatory registering 26.8 violent deaths per 100,000 people, compared to a rate of 35.3 for every 100,000 habitants in 2022.

But now, as Venezuelans increasingly flood over the US-Mexico border, reports of newly-arrived migrants committing horrific crimes have left Americans shocked - including that of two men arrested in the brutal abduction, rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl in Texas just last week.

Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that the oil-rich socialist regime is emptying its jails and sending violent felons to the US as he campaigns for a second term.

But security experts say the real reason is more likely that criminals and gangsters are now seeking to escape the bankrupt nation and go where the money is.

According to InsightCrime, the dire economic situation in the country, combined with the mass population exodus, has reduced opportunities for those looking to extort, kidnap and rob back home.

'Crime is falling in Venezuela because of the destruction of the country’s economy …because of the loss of opportunities for crime,' OVV director Roberto Briceño-León told InSight Crime.

While the government does not publish official data on crime, Venezuelan security official Remigio Ceballos Ichaso has claimed overall crime has dropped by 32 percent - without citing what kind of crime that figure included.

Jose Antonio Colina, founder of Veppex, an organization that advocates for Venezuelans who were persecuted by the nation's regime, told DailyMail.com many of the recent arrivals accused of horrific crimes have never known democracy or the rule of law and are acting in the US as they were allowed to do back home.

'Many of them are minors who are born and raised in a country where there is no justice or respect for the law,' said the former Venezuela military officer, who has been exiled in Florida since 2003, when he was accused of conspiring against then-president Hugo Chavez.

Unlike its neighbors in Latin America, Venezuelans have not traditionally been a migrant culture - in 1990, there were just 42,000 Venezuelans in the US, compared to 282,000 Colombians.

Venezuelans began leaving their country in significant numbers in 2000, just a year after Hugo Chavez' election, as the nation's wealthiest feared nationalizations and socialist policies to come, as reported by Caracas Chronicles.

The US is currently seeing a third wave of new arrivals from Venezuela, which started in 2017, and has seen the country's poorest and most desperate travel from their homes to the US-Mexico border on foot, crossing into central America through the perilous Darien Gap.

Along with the millions of innocent migrants, criminals including professional gangsters have also managed to make their way into the US, and have been making headlines in recent months.

The gangsters have used the migration wave to hide among legitimate asylum seekers - over 334,000 Venezuelans crossed the US-Mexico border in fiscal year 2023 - second only to Mexicans.

'They go into local economies where there are Venezuelans and take over the criminal underground using excessive force,' former Border Patrol Agent Ammon Blair told the New York Post. 'They’ll start shooting prostitutes controlled by rival gangs and perform the executions live on social media in order to establish their presence.'

The political and economic crisis has forced more than 7.7million people to leave the nation since 2014- even more than Ukrainians and Syrians.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Wealthy coastal town is left furious as it's dubbed 'stinkiest beach in America' due to sewage...
How the rich suffer in California. But it never occurs to them to take up a collection and build a sewage treatment plant at the source, since the source won’t do anything about it.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] … crisis: 'The smell wakes us up at night'

Wendy Fry, a reporter with Mercury News, said Tuesday was the quintessential beach day in San Diego, where the affluent towns of La Jolla and Del Mar are located.

While the beaches were packed, Fry said the coastline was eerily deserted.

The culprit? Over 100 billion gallons of raw sewage from Mexico's Tijuana River, dumped into the Pacific Ocean over the past five years. This untreated sewage has become a recurring nightmare for Imperial Beach, a small coastal town of about 26,000 residents. The contamination regularly forces beach closures and the smell can be overpowering.

'Imagine opening a manhole cover and just swan-diving in, and that's what hanging out on the beach is like now,' Imperial Beach resident Wilson Howard told Fry.

'(The smell) wakes you up in the night. That's how strong it is,' said Cara Knapp, who lives on the oceanfront Seacoast Drive with the beach as her backyard, told Fry.

Imperial Beach, once a renowned surfing destination, has fallen victim to the the wastewater surges that have been washing ashore for decades.

'They call us 'the stinkiest beach.' Who wants to buy a home – a million dollars and up – and be considered 'the stinkiest beach in the United States?' said Knapp.

The sewage problem has also contributed to the ongoing issue of inequality and the large gap between socioeconomic classes. A significant portion of the raw sewage originates in impoverished Tijuana colonias, neighborhoods where residents lack proper housing due to poverty, according to Fay Crevoshay, the communications and policy director of the international nonprofit WILDCOAST. These communities build makeshift homes using scrap materials like garage doors and tires, and often lack connection to public sanitation systems. Their sewage flows directly into a canal that eventually reaches the US, she says. When it rains, this canal overflows, carrying trash and sewage straight into the working-class communities of Southern California's South Bay.

'I like how in the U.S. they describe these communities as 'underserved.' In Mexico, it's 'No served.' No service. Nothing service,' said Crevoshay.

Researchers say the toxins from the sewage water pose a threat to public health, which is why Imperial Beach is closed more often than not.

Governor Gavin Newsom has refused to declare a state of emergency without explanation, according to Voice of San Diego.

Meanwhile, Senator Steve Padilla and assembly member David Alvarez who overlooks a district in South County, want the Center of Disease Control and Prevention intervene.

'They just need to show people that they care because right now, with the exception David Alvarez, our state assembly member, and Steve Padilla, our state senator,' said Serge Dedina, the executive director of WILDCOAST and former mayor of Imperial Beach.

'We feel pretty abandoned by our state elected officials on this issue and by our state agencies as well.'

Despite Imperial Beach seeing over 700 consecutive days of beach closures, residents continue to endure the daily effects of pollution.

This is deceptive writing. La Jolla and Del Mar are both far to the north of the border and their water is clean.

However, Imperial Beach, and to some extent Coronado, are severely impacted by Mexican sewage.

Last I heard, the US gives Mexico some $450 million dollars in foreign aid every year. I wouldn't give them another penny until they fix this problem. I would seal the border, including legal crossings. Stop all imports from and exports to that country. I would put all the pressure I could on them up to and including military action.

It isn't just the sewage. It's the fentanyl, the corruption and the illegal aliens. Biden is as much to blame as the Mexicans but I wouldn't let them off the hook.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Kochesoko calls his criminal prosecution unfounded
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] Martin Kochesoko, an activist from Kabardino-Balkaria who moved to Europe, called his criminal prosecution in Russia for evading his duties as a foreign agent unfounded.

As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, on June 22 it became known that security forces opened a criminal case for failure to fulfill the duties of a foreign agent (Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) against Martin Kochesoko, who lives abroad, who was fined by the Baksan District Court for administrative cases in December 2023 and February 2024 due to the lack of a "foreign agent" label in publications.

On August 25, 2023, the Ministry of Justice added the head of the Khabze public organization, Martin Kochesoko, to the register of foreign agents. The department explained its decision by saying that the activist called for a violation of the territorial integrity of Russia and distributed materials from foreign agents.

The grounds for initiating a criminal case were not communicated to either Martin Kochesoko himself or his representatives, Martin Kochesoko told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

He considered the new claims of the security forces "absurd, like the previous ones. It is not known what became the basis for the new claims. I believe that I was appointed a so-called "foreign agent" without reason, and signing as someone I am not is absurd," the activist said.

Martin Kochesoko has been involved in public activities since 2006 and was a member of the "Circassian Congress". In April 2019, the activist criticized the ban on the motor rally on the Day of the Circassian Flag in Nalchik and the attitude of the Russian authorities towards Circassian repatriates.

Kochesoko noted that since leaving Russia, he has not personally been involved in appealing the Justice Ministry's decision to recognize him as a foreign agent and does not follow these cases. "I personally am not involved, but my lawyer is aware [is involved in previous claims]. The authorities came to my parents a couple of times, but they refused to answer their questions," he said.

According to Kochesoko, he headed the Circassian public organization "Khabze", but it was closed a year ago by a Russian court decision. "Our organization "Khabze" was closed by a court decision a year ago. The organization was engaged in the popularization of Circassian culture and language, the organization of cultural events, as well as the establishment and maintenance of ties between Circassians in their homeland and in the diaspora. The organization also held events to highlight the problems of federalism and local self-government in the Russian Federation and defended the status of mandatory study and preservation of the national languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation," the activist said.

He emphasized that he now lives in Europe and does not take part in the activities of public organizations.

“Since I left my homeland, I have never been and am not a member of any organization and act exclusively independently. Yes, I am quite widely known among the Circassian diaspora, and I have traveled to many cities and villages where Circassians live. I met with representatives of many Circassian organizations and individuals, participated in many public events, and thereby became familiar with the situation of our compatriots in a foreign land. Now I have moved to Europe from Turkey,” Kochesoko said.

Circassian activist Kase Kik previously told the "Caucasian Knot" that with the arrival of Martin Kochesoko in Turkey, the activities of Circassian communities in that country have intensified. He noted that the increased pressure on activists in Russia with the start of the military operation in Ukraine led to their outflow from the country, but their emigration contributed to the intensification of their activities, since the majority of Circassians live in the diaspora. "In Istanbul, rallies were usually held by federations - separately KAFFED, separately "Cherkesfed", "Patriots of Circassia". With the arrival [in Turkey] of Martin Kochesoko, these rallies united," he said.

In 2024, in Russia, according to Roskomnadzor, 13 criminal cases were opened under the article on failure to fulfill the duties of a foreign agent, lawyer Vladimir Vasilenko, who collaborates with one of the Moscow human rights organizations, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. “The first case under this article (330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was initiated in 2022 against Golos activist Artem Vazhenkov,” Vasilenko noted.

However, according to him, despite the significant number of cases initiated, the practice of their consideration remains unclear. "According to the data of the judicial department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation for 2022-2023, not a single case under Article 330.1 was considered in courts of general jurisdiction. Therefore, it is impossible to talk about established practice," the lawyer said.

U.S. Rep. Roy seeks to oust Biden via 25th amendment
[JustTheNews] U.S. Rep. Chip Roy R-Texas, filed a resolution Friday calling for the 25th Amendment of the Constitution to be invoked to remove President Joe Biden from office after his performance at the presidential debate on Thursday night. Biden appeared to have mental and physical difficulties, prompting widespread speculation and criticism in the media and among Democrats.

The resolution calls on Vice President Kamala Harris “to convene and mobilize the principal officers of the executive departments of the Cabinet to activate Section 4 of the 25th Amendment to declare President Joseph Biden incapable of executing the duties of his office and to immediately exercise powers as Acting President.” It also states Biden “has repeatedly and publicly demonstrated his inability to discharge the powers and duties of the presidency, including, among others, the powers and duties of the Commander-In-Chief.”

In a radio interview, Roy made similar arguments to those of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, saying he doesn’t know who would replace Biden as the Democratic nominee ahead on Novembers election. Cruz says it would be former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Roy said, “Democrats have now known this for a long time,” referring to Biden’s mental and physical health. “They've been guilty of trying to hide it from the American people. They've been using him [Biden] as a puppet as a Manchurian candidate to drive their radical agenda. They've done that on purpose … now they saw the gig is up, that Trump could win, they were hoping they could keep the Manchurian candidate in place, they panicked. It was a controlled panic, let's have an early debate, we'll see how he performed. He didn't perform. Now they have what they need to try to push him aside and end-run [Vice President] Kamala [Harris].”

Regardless of the Democrats’ problems, Roy said, “we have a constitutional duty to protect the Constitution. He's incapable. We should force Democrats to own it and make a choice. Do you agree, do you believe he's competent? Let's make them choose.”

Congress proposed the 25th Amendment in 1965 after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. All 50 states ratified it in 1967. It establishes procedures for replacing the president or vice president under certain circumstances. The first time it was invoked was in 1973 after Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned, according to the Congressional Research Service. It was again used in 1974 after President Richard Nixon resigned and when Vice President Gerald Ford, who became president, nominated Nelson Rockefeller as Vice President. It has not been used since.

Calls to invoke the 25th Amendment were made in February by multiple members of Congress after Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report cited examples of Biden’s mental lapses, describing him as an “elderly man with poor memory,” The Center Square reported.

Before that, and for three years, former White House physician for presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, repeatedly questioned Biden’s mental and physical health and called for him to be removed under the 25th Amendment, The Center Square reported.

Time to Get Familiar with Section 4 of Amendment 25

[PrepScholar] SECTION 4
"Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office."

It makes a US VOTER wonder.

Why the 25th now, just before the election?
When it has been clear for 3+ years, even to US Voters, that Biden has been a mentally handicapped puppet on the Jill/Obama/$$Elite$$ control string.

Could it be that the DC Swamp is worried about itself position, after TRUMP wins in Nov. 2024?

Because, IF!!!, Trump is allowed to take office without a successful DC Swamp planned "accident" between Nov 2024-Jan. 2025.

Surely they are worried that Trump will call for a REAL investigation of the Illegal activities of the DC Swamp and those behind the 2020 Coup?

Fury as one of America's oldest companies slashes jobs in the Midwest as it shifts work to Mexico: 'It's greed'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] John Deere is sparking outrage by laying off American workers and moving more of its agricultural equipment manufacturing to Mexico.

Since October 2023, more than 1,000 John Deere workers have either been laid off or pushed into an early retirement across several plants in Iowa and Illinois.

In many instances, production that these US workers were responsible for has been shifted to new locations in Mexico. The company was founded 187 years ago.

More layoffs are expected later this year - despite John Deere raking in over $10 billion in profit in 2023 while also paying CEO John May $26.7 million in total compensation.

A longtime John Deere worker at the Harvester Works plant in East Moline, Illinois, told The Guardian it comes down to one thing: Greed.

XX Should we have the Dubuque job losses here too - bunch them all together, at least on first mention. And can we do them in chronological order - May is before March. Also assuming this first Oct one is 2023. And/or a little fact box on them, which we could also get made up ona little graphic of Iowa showing Factory location and town, population, jobs lost (and jobs left). Might be good to summarise that way. But can do it a fact box first and then decide on map graphic

Heh. Looks like someone forget to edit out the production notes. Oopsie! Layers and layers of fact checkers and editors...

American capitalist democracy works best with competition and a fair free market which means the John Deeres of the world should be broken into 100 smaller businesses so competition remains

And put tariffs on imports and ban migration

If you sell product in the domestic market you shouldnt be able to strip mine child labour slaves in mexico and china then sell your product in high wage high price countries.

Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin demands urgent ban on niqabs
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The wearing of niqabs in Russia should be banned, said the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, at the International Youth Legal Forum in St. Petersburg on June 29.

“We urgently need to ban all this,” Bastrykin said.

At the forum, a question was raised about whether it is possible to ban the wearing of religious clothing that covers the face in Russia. Raising this topic, one of the participants stated that in Uzbekistan, clothing covering the face is prohibited. As a result, those who cannot wear the niqab in Central Asia move to Russia and wear it here.

In response, Bastrykin said that the State Duma could pass the corresponding law. It is unclear why the niqab is banned in Asia, but not here, the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation noted, recalling that he is "not a legislator."

The head of the Investigative Committee recalled that Islamists recently carried out a terrorist attack in Dagestan and took hostages in a pre-trial detention center in Rostov-on-Don. Since there is a flow of migrants to Russia, it is necessary to regulate their behavior, including through the adoption of new laws.

Niqab is a type of hijab with a slit for the eyes. The face of the woman wearing the niqab is not visible.

On May 19, presidential adviser and chairman of the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights Valery Fadeyev proposed banning the wearing of the niqab in Russia. He recalled that this type of clothing is prohibited in a number of Central Asian countries. Banning the niqab is necessary to reduce the risk of extremism, he explained.

In response, the deputy chairman of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Russia, the mufti of Moscow, Ildar Alyautdinov, said on May 22 that the ban on the niqab may not please the countries of the East, with which Moscow is strengthening relations. At the same time, he referred to freedom of religion and observance of religious canons.

This statement caused controversy among representatives of the Muslim community. On the Islam. news portal, the author Aidar Bariyev reminded that the niqab has nothing to do with religion, while clothing that covers the face makes it difficult to identify a person. He reminded that wearing a niqab is a custom associated with the need to protect the face from sandstorms in the desert. In Russia, there is no need to wear such clothing.

State Duma deputy Mikhail Matveev (fraction of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation) announced on June 11 that he had sent to the government a bill to ban niqabs in the country. He called it a security issue for Russia.

On June 20, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon signed laws banning the import, sale and wearing of clothing alien to the culture of the people in the republic. Thus, hijabs were banned. The head of the republic instructed to develop the design of national clothing, adhering to the religious and ethical needs of the women of Tajikistan.

US successfully tests Precision Strike Missile
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The US Army successfully tested the advanced Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) operational-tactical missile against a moving sea target during exercises in the Pacific Ocean, The Defense Post reported.

“For the first time, the complex was used outside the United States, and also for the first time, missiles were used against a naval target,” the material says.

In total, according to the portal, a couple of missiles were launched from the island of Palau.

The Precision Strike Missile was developed to replace the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS). PrSM have a longer flight range (more than 400 km). Deliveries of new missiles are expected in 2025.

In March 2016, Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Raytheon announced that they would participate in the tender for the development of PrSM. At the beginning of 2020, Boeing and Raytheon withdrew from the tender. The prototype could only hit stationary targets on land, but later versions of the missile were developed to track moving targets on land and at sea.

As Regnum reported, in November 2023, the US Army and the military-industrial corporation Lockheed Martin successfully tested the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) long-range operational-tactical missile. The tests took place at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. The rocket was launched using the HIMARS installation.

The US Air Force tested a prototype hypersonic missile in southern California in August 2023 as part of the ARRW program.

21 Facts That Joe Biden Doesn't Want You To Know
[ZeroHedge] It takes a lot of gumption to go on television and repeatedly lie to more than 300 million Americans. I honestly don’t know how Joe Biden does it. I suppose that after you have been lying for your entire career, lying comes as naturally as breathing does. Sadly, there are still millions of Americans that are falling for his lies after all this time. Biden would like for us all to believe that the economy is “booming”, that the southern border is under control, that our communities are safe, and that Ukraine is going to win their war against Russia. Our entire society is literally crumbling all around us, and Biden and his minions have brought us to the brink of global war. I am entirely convinced that he has been the worst president in U.S. history, and that is really saying something.

There are a few numbers that Biden can cherry pick to try to make himself look good, but here are 21 facts that Joe Biden doesn’t want you to know…

1. It takes the typical U.S. household $1,069 more a month just to purchase the same goods and services that it did three years ago.

2. Two-thirds of the respondents to one recent survey indicated that they had to take action to deal with rising financial stress within the past year. Those actions included “cutting back on spending, skipping monthly bills, or taking an additional job”.

3. Home insurance rates have risen by 38 percent since 2019.

4. Home rental prices are up 30 percent since Joe Biden entered the White House.

5. A whopping 61 percent of U.S. renters cannot afford the rent on a median-priced apartment in the United States right now.

6. Gasoline prices are up 46 percent since Joe Biden entered the White House.

7. The average rate on a 30 year fixed mortgage is up 148 percent since Joe Biden entered the White House.

8. According to Zillow, the monthly mortgage payment on a typical home in this country has almost doubled during the past four years.

9. One recent poll discovered that 44 percent of retired Americans are considering going back to work because the cost of living has become so oppressive.

10. New home sales fell 11.3 percent last month.

11. Pending home sales are dropping at the fastest rate ever recorded.

12. According to the House Budget Committee, there have been more than 8 million migrant encounters nationwide while Joe Biden has been in the White House. We truly are in the midst of an immigration crisis that is far greater than anything that we have ever witnessed before.

13. Thanks to our unprecedented immigration crisis, the homeless population in the city of Chicago actually tripled in just one year.

14. Murder rates are up by double digit percentages in many major U.S. cities this year.

15. Continuing jobless claims just shot up to the highest level in almost three years.

16. The number of job openings in the United States has dropped to the lowest level in more than 3 years.

17. Rite Aid just announced that it will be closing 27 more stores. That is on top of more than 500 stores that it has already decided to shut down.

18. Walgreens plans to close approximately one-fourth of its 8,600 U.S. stores. If the economy really was “booming”, why would they be doing this?

19. Today, 20 percent of the entire population of the state of California is living in poverty.

20. According to one recent survey, 46 percent of Americans don’t even have 500 dollars saved up.

21. So far, the U.S. has spent a total of approximately 175 billion dollars on the war in Ukraine, and the Russians are still winning.

Over the past three and a half years, there has just been one epic failure after another.

That is the sad truth
Have a look at Dr John Campbell's video yesterday on Lowy Body Dementia - i posted today in the Opinion section

For those who do not know, Dr Campbell has made thoughtful and compassionate YouTube videos almost daily for years. He used to teach nurses for the NHS system in Britain and has written textbooks on anatomy (he is a nurse practitioner PhD kind of doctor)

When covid hit he very calmly went through the published science and official data every day and slowly transformed from trusting the health authorities through confusion and disbelief to now recommending the gene-vax be pulled off the market until it is properly made safe.

His short videos are just a joy of understated excellence in rationality

Italian authorities reported that 67 people were on board one of the vessels that capsized. Italia’s coasties has found 34 bodies from a wrecked ship 120 nautical miles off the coast of Calabria.

"But the sea life is expanding"
Veert explained that there is no safe way to make the journey across the Mediterranean Sea, even for modern boats with fewer passengers, adding that some journeys have been made with rubber dinghies carrying 160 people.

He said that the longest he knows people surviving shipwrecks there is 4 or 5 days without food and with little to no drinking water.

The situation reminds him of a similar rescue with a boat coming from Libya.

"They’re really poor people. They sail under the ship’s deck. This is the cheapest place on board because it is the most dangerous palace onboard," Veert said of the wreck that killed 10 passengers.

Among all the routes taken, the "Central Mediterranean" route between the coast of North Africa, Italia and Malta is the deadliest in the world.

According to data from Italia’s interior ministry obtained by AFP, arrivals to the country have dropped significantly since the start of the year, with 24,100 migrants colonists arriving, compared to 57,500 in the same period in 2023.

Around 20,000 people from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region migrated out of the country in the pursuit of a better life last year, with at least nine losing their lives on dangerous and illegal smuggling routes, according to the Summit (Lutka) Foundation for Refugees and Displaced Affairs.

Iraq
Turkey sets up checkpoints within Kurdistan Region, residents say
25-06-2024
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish armed forces have established checkpoints within the Kurdistan Region in areas of Duhok near the Ottoman Turkish border, creating obstacles for locals caught up in Ankara’s most recent military operation.

"When I was returning home, I was asked for my identification card at the checkpoint in Ottoman Turkish, but I did not understand," a resident of Kani Masi village, Amedi district, Duhok, told Rudaw on Monday on the condition of anonymity.

Residents are being asked to show identification, the source added.

"Later one of the soldiers asked me in Kurdish. I said I do not have it with me ... they said ’go, but bring your identification card with you next time’," he said.

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
’s checkpoint is near the Balave and Belizani villages on the main road between the Bamarni and Kani Masi subdistricts about 57 kilometers northeast of Duhok city.

Rudaw has learned that the Ottoman Turkish army has begun operations near Kani Masi and Mount Metina in Duhok province. The soldiers patrol the area with heavy weapons and have created several similar checkpoints.

Turkey has yet to announce the operation, but it has recently increased its military incursions to curb stated threats from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) along its border with the Kurdistan Region.

The PKK is a pro-Kurdish group that has waged an armed insurgency against the Ottoman Turkish state for decades in the struggle for greater Kurdish rights and is designated a terrorist organization by Ankara.

The recent escalation in attacks is a part of Turkey’s plans to eradicate the Kurdish group along its southern border with the Kurdistan Region. Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. said in March that Ankara is close to completing a zone that will "permanently resolve" the security issues along their border with the Kurdistan Region and Iraq by the summer.

"This summer, we will have permanently resolved the issue concerning our Iraqi borders," Erdogan said at the time, and called on everyone in the region to respect Ankara’s security strategy, "Otherwise, they will be the cause of the tensions that will arise."

Iraqi and Ottoman Turkish security delegations have held several meetings to address the border security issue. In March, the Iraqi and Ottoman Turkish foreign ministries issued a joint statement after a meeting in Baghdad. "Both sides stressed that the PKK organization represents a security threat to both Turkey and Iraq, and it is certain that the presence of the organization on Iraqi territory represents a violation of the Iraqi constitution," read the statement.

Iraq banned the PKK and the two sides discussed measures against the group.

Ankara’s security concerns were also a topic of discussion between Iraqi and Ottoman Turkish officials during the Ottoman Turkish president’s visit to Iraq in April.

"We told them [Turkey] that the [Iraqi] National Security Council describes the PKK as a prohibited party," Bassem al-Awadi, the spokesperson for the Iraqi government, told Rudaw at the time.

"Each member of the PKK in Iraq is considered a political asylum seeker, but they will be banned from partisan and political work as well as bearing arms," Awadi said.

Officials in Baghdad previously have condemned Turkey’s operations, citing Iraqi illusory sovereignty. Their overtures, however, have not halted Turkey’s cross-border incursions, which are a violation of international norms and law.

Turkey’s Claw-Lock operation was launched in northern Duhok province in April 2022, with the goal of targeting PKK positions in Metina, Zap, Avashin, and Basyan areas. Ankara at the time said the goal of the operation was to remove the PKK from the border areas and cut off its access to mainland Turkey.

Nearly 1,000 IDPs repatriated ahead of Iraq's camp closure deadline
[Rudaw] Around 1,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) have been repatriated to their homeland of Shingal (Sinjar) in coordination with relevant authorities a month before Iraqi plans to close all camps in the country.

Iraq’s Ministry of Displacement and Migration repatriated 569 people from Sharia camp in Duhok, Kurdistan Region, to their homeland of Shingal (Sinjar) in Nineveh with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and Nineveh Operations Command, Minister Evan Faeq Jabro told Rudaw on Thursday.

On Monday, the ministry also announced the return of 397 IDPs from Khanke camp in Duhok to Shingal.

"81 families... left Khanke informal site through our Facilitated Voluntary Movement programme, ensuring informed, safe, dignified movements from locations of displacements across [Iraq]," IOM Iraq announced in a post on X on Thursday.

The ministry’s Erbil office has increased efforts to implement Baghdad’s decision to close all IDP camps in the country, including in the Kurdistan Region, before July 30.

At the Lalish conference in Erbil on Tuesday, Germany’s Consul General Klaus Streicher said extending the deadline for camp closures could enable a safer and more effective repatriation process, preventing future relocations.

Many IDPs have been reluctant to return home. Some who voluntarily left camps to salvage their homes and livelihoods have been forced to return to camps, due to poor living conditions and infrastructure.

Members of the Yazidi community have repeatedly shared that many people have left Sharia and other camps, instead of returning to their places of origin, taking dangerous and illegal routes to immigrate to Europa

Yazidis, a vulnerable population in Iraq, were subjected to countless heinous atrocities, including forced marriages, sexual violence, and massacres when ISIS captured Sinjar in 2014, bringing destruction to many villages and towns populated by the minority group. Many Yazidis were forced to flee to displacement camps across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, where many still remain.

New WH Aides Reveal-Biden, 81, has difficulty functioning outside of 6-hour window-alarming report-Almost as if Jilly Needs Another Nudge!
[NYPost] Octogenarian President Biden has difficulty functioning outside a six-hour window of daylight, according to an alarming new report.

The 81-year-old commander in chief is prone to absent-minded gaffes and fatigue outside of the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or while traveling abroad, White House aides told Axios in a bizarre attempt to spin his disastrous debate performance.

During the 90-minute trainwreck of a presidential debate — which kicked off five hours after the president’s peak performance window, at 9 p.m. — Biden often appeared vacant or slack-jawed, and on several occasions froze mid-thought, misspoke, or struggled to form coherent sentences.

Biden reportedly struggles with verbal miscues and fatigue outside the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The shocking late-night performance escalated fears about whether Biden is capable of serving another four years. He would be aged 86 by the end of his second term.

Biden attempted to quell voters’ concerns about his mental acuity with a much more energetic speech at a rally Friday in Raleigh, N.C. — during his more preferred time frame in the early afternoon.

Danger to self and others is the phrase that stuck with me
[YouTube] Lewy body dementias (LBD), 1.4 million in the United States.

Presence of Lewy bodies

Typically progresses rapidly

Lewy Body Dementia Association

We understand that though many families are affected by this disease, few individuals and medical professionals are aware of the symptoms, diagnostic criteria, or even that LBD exists.

Lewy body dementias (LBD) are the second most common form of degenerative dementia.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is most common.

LBD can have three common presentations

Some start with a movement disorder leading to the diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and later develop dementia.

This is diagnosed as Parkinson’s disease dementia.

Others start with a cognitive/memory disorder that may be mistaken for AD,

leading to the diagnosis of ‘dementia with Lewy bodies’ (DLB).

A small group will first present with neuropsychiatric symptoms, hallucinations, behavioral problems, difficulty with complex mental activities

The most common symptoms of LBD include:

Impaired thinking, such as loss of executive function (planning, processing information), memory, or the ability to understand visual information

Fluctuations in cognition, attention, or alertness

Problems with movement, including tremors, stiffness, slowness, and difficulty walking

Visual hallucinations (seeing things that are not present)

The symptoms of LBD are treatable

Early and accurate diagnosis of LBD is essential

Early and accurate diagnosis is important because LBD patients may react to certain medications differently than AD or PD patients.

A variety of drugs, including some dementia meds and some antiparkinsonian medications, can worsen LBD symptoms.

(LBD affects an individual’s brain differently than other dementias).

Treatment should always be monitored by a physician and may include prescriptive and other therapies, exercise, diet, sleep habits, changes in behavior, and daily routines.

Individuals and families living with LBD should not have to face this disease alone.

LBD affects every aspect of a person – their mood, the way they think, and the way they move.

The combination of cognitive, motor and behavioral symptoms creates a highly challenging set of demands for continuing care.

Physician education is urgently needed.

More research is urgently needed.

Research needs include tools for early diagnoses, such as screening questionnaires, biomarkers, neuroimaging techniques, and more effective therapies.

Currently, there is no specific test to diagnose LBD.

QUESTION: As we know, the DOJ refused to indict Biden for his 20+ years of illegal retention of classified files Left in a house garage. Which was rented out to Chinese Nationals, no less by Hunter. The reason cited was age related issues.

Now we have the State & National Democrat Party leaders in a panic, and taking steps to dump Biden for 2024. Why? Because of what we have all clearly seen for the last 3+ years. A president with a serious failed Mental State.

So Congress (R's, Rino's & D's and LSD's) what happened to the 25th Amendment?

Is political power and the $$M y'all skim, more important than the safe constitutional operation of the United States and protection of WE THE PEOPLE?

NN2N1,

I absolutely believe right now that DOCTOR Jill is cosplaying Edith Galt Wilson, cheerfully aided and abetted by the WH staff - the Cabinet is completely aimless right now, no one is at the helm, and the only thought and priority is re-election. The DNC is behaving like the late Empire Romans who have just found out the Vandals are inbound. Congress is hiding out the best they can, even though they are faced with the most obvious case for the 25th Amendment we've seen yet.

The President of the United States is sundowning, something I saw at terrifyingly close range when my father reached his final illness. If a crisis hits now, we are in deep, deep trouble. We need to be ready for President Harris, possibly as early as this week.

Europe
Panic Time: Netherlands' Wealth Tax Gets Shot Down, Must Be Refunded
[Telegraph HT HotAir] The Netherlands is expected to pay billions of pounds in compensation to taxpayers after a divisive levy on investments and second homes was shot down by the Dutch Supreme Court.

On 6 June, the court ruled that the country’s wealth tax went against the European Convention on Human Rights because it forced savers and investors to pay tax on income they had not earned.

The decision has opened the door to legal redress for hundreds of thousands of people who were overcharged by the tax authority.

Outgoing state secretary for finance Marnix van Rij estimated that the upfront cost would be €4bn — or £3.37bn.

But the true cost could rise by billions of euros per year while the government works out a new system to replace the controversial levy — a system not expected until 2027.

The Supreme Court’s decision may serve as a warning for other countries seeking to raise revenue from taxes on savings and investments.

Labour is considering options for extra wealth taxes if it wins the general election on 4 July, as reported by the Guardian.

The party is under pressure to explain how it will fund its plans for public services, and so far has ruled out raising income tax, National Insurance or corporation tax.
100pc tax rate

Since 2001, the Netherlands has divided income into three different types, known as boxes.

"Box One" taxes employment income, "Box Two" applies to people with a substantial share in a business, and "Box Three" is effectively a wealth tax — levied on income from savings, investments and second properties.

For years Box Three has been under attack because it is based on fictional — rather than actual — returns.

There have been various iterations of the levy but when it was first introduced, the government assumed that everyone earned a 4pc return on their assets. Taxpayers were then charged 30pc on that yield.

This was regardless of whether they held cash, stocks or property and regardless of how their investments performed.

At the time, Minister of Finance Gerrit Zalm presented the arrangement as risk-free. "Any fool can get a return of more than 4pc," he said.

But little did Mr Zalm know that the credit crunch was just around the corner.

Robert van der Jagt, of accountancy firm KPMG, said: "At the time, 4pc was very favourable. But then the financial crisis happened — and interest rates dropped to well below 4pc."

Savers were effectively punished for holding their money in low-interest accounts, with many forking out more in tax than they earned from their wealth. As a result people were charged effective tax rates of 100pc or more.

From 2008 onwards, taxpayers started challenging Box Three, which led to the government reforming the levy in 2017.

Under this new regime, the deemed yield on savings was cut to 1.63pc while the yield on investments and second properties was brought up to 5.39pc. This was to reflect the fact that investors usually earn higher returns. These yields were then adjusted every year.

But taxpayers were still being charged based on hypothetical returns. So on 24 December 2021, in the so-called Christmas judgment, the Supreme Court decided the 2017 regime had violated taxpayers’ property rights.

Because pols want to play the game of 'envy' from the lower caste against the upper caste. You see they talk 'soak the rich', the rich in turn to protect what they have buy the pols to write intricate loop holes and write offs that allow the rich to avoid being soaked. How do you get graft and corruption without the game?

Khasavyurt doctor apologizes after incident with patient in niqab
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] An endocrinologist at one of the Khasavyurt clinics recorded a video in which she apologized to a patient wearing a niqab. The doctor explained that a misunderstanding arose between her and the girl, as a result of which she decided that she was denied medical care because of her religious clothing.

As the "Caucasian Knot" reported, on June 25, the head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, stated that he was against wearing a niqab, since it is clothing alien to Caucasian traditions. Radical sentiments are increasing in society, and in modern realities it has become more difficult to identify extremists, Melikov noted, commenting on the terrorist attacks in Derbent and Makhachkala.

On June 23, Trinity Day, which is one of the main Christian holidays, militants attacked synagogues and an Orthodox church in Derbent and Makhachkala. The attacks were  the first armed incidents  in Dagestan in more than a year.

A video of a doctor from Khasavyurt apologizing to a patient in a niqab was published on June 28 on the social network VKontakte in the public group "Voice of Dagestan". The description of the video says that the doctor allegedly refused to see the girl in religious clothing because she refused to take off her niqab.

"I am an endocrinologist," the doctor said.

According to her, the patient was not denied help, but on the contrary, emergency assistance was offered out of turn. A misunderstanding arose between the doctor and the patient. “[This misunderstanding] is also unpleasant for me, for which I apologize. I treat all people and all religions with full respect,” the doctor said.

This post in the public “Voice of Dagestan”, which has more than 197,000 subscribers, received more than 63,000 views and 803 comments as of 12.00 Moscow time. Some of their authors criticized the doctor, while the other part came out in her support.

Let us recall that earlier State Duma Deputy Speaker Vladislav Davankov proposed giving educational institutions the right to ban the wearing of religious clothing, as well as giving the right to legislative and municipal assemblies to introduce a ban on wearing religious clothing in public places. State Duma deputies from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Mikhail Matveev and Sergei Obukhov also prepared a bill that would introduce fines for wearing  clothing that hides the face in public places.

After Davankov's proposal to ban the wearing of religious clothing, State Duma deputy from Chechnya Adam Delimkhanov criticized him. He promised to "clearly" explain to Davankov and others what "religious traditional values and customs" are.

"A member of the Syrian Democratic Forces was killed as a result of being targeted by button men affiliated with ISIS cells... in the town of al-Bahra in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor," said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based war monitor.

It is the latest fatality amid an increase of ISIS attacks in Syria, particularly in areas under Kurdish control.

On Monday, the Kurdish-led force foiled an attack by ISIS in Deir ez-Zor and killed two bully boyz in the process. ISIS killed at least six SDF members in two separate attacks the day prior.

(ISIS) in the Hamrin mountain range that crosses Kirkuk and Salahaddin governorates, with three members of the group inside amid a recent escalation in the Iraqi forces’ anti-ISIS operations.

Iraqi state media (INA) cited a statement by the Security Media Cell that the Targeting Cell of the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, in cooperation with the Iraqi intelligence, on Sunday "managed to target an important hideout of the failed ISIS detachments in the Hamrin Mountains within the Diyala Operations Command sector, containing three terrorist members inside."

"Through the heroic actions of our brave hawks, a devastating airstrike was carried out by F-16 aircraft on this hideout, turning it into rubble over the heads of the terrorists," read the statement.

"A number of hideouts and caves, along with the weapons, ammunition, and logistical materials they contained, were destroyed," it added.

There were no immediate reports of casualties during the strikes in rugged Hamrin.

The Iraqi forces recently have increased their attacks on the group. On Saturday, at least seven members of the group were killed in two separate airstrikes in eastern Salahaddin province, and on Friday, three ISIS members were also killed in an operation in Kirkuk.

Despite its territorial defeat, ISIS has continued to pose a serious security threat to the country through hit-and-run attacks, bombings and abductions in several provinces, particularly in areas disputed between the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), which stretch across several provinces including Nineveh, Diyala, Salahaddin and Kirkuk.

Iraq’s air force regularly pursues and targets ISIS hideouts across the country, particularly in the disputed areas.

[Rudaw] Two Iraqi airstrikes targeted hideouts of the Islamic State (ISIS) in eastern Salahaddin, killing at least seven members of the group including “a dangerous leader,” reported Iraqi security media cell on Saturday.

The operation, devised by the Joint Operations Command and carried out by Iraq’s national intelligence service in conjunction with the counter-terrorism service, struck “the most important” ISIS detachment in Tuz Khurmatu’s Palkana mountains, according to the statement.

“Two air strikes were carried out by F-16 aircrafts, which destroyed this tunnel as well as the rest of the hideouts leading to the killing of all members of the terrorist detachment,” said the media cell, noting that the detachment consisted of seven members according to preliminary information.

HRW slams Iraq’s ‘unlawful’ deportation of Syrians
[Rudaw] Authorities in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region have unlawfully arrested and deported Syrian refugees, alleged an international watchdog.

"Iraq should immediately end its distressing campaign of arbitrary arrests and deportations of Syrians who have fled to Iraq for safety," said Sarah Sanbar, Iraq researcher at Human Rights Watch (HRW), in a report published on Thursday.

According to the report, the deported refugees had official Iraqi documents or were registered with the United Nations

Last August, Iraq's Supreme Judicial Council prohibited the deportation of Syrian refugees.

However,

in March, Iraqi authorities initiated a crackdown on foreigners violating residency regulations. This led to the detention and deportation of numerous Syrians following raids on their residences and workplaces.

The HRW has not received a response from Iraq’s interior ministry regarding their requests for comments, annd the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) office that responds to international reports did not immediately respond to the HRW report.
The lack of response IS a response: "F You"

Iraq is hosting an estimated 280,000 Syrian refugees, who were displaced because of the Syrian conflict, with more than 240,000 residing in the Kurdistan Region.

"While parts of Syria have not had active conflict hostilities since 2018, Syria remains unfit for safe and dignified refugee returns. Deporting asylum seekers breaches Iraq’s obligations as a party to the UN Convention Against Torture (CAT)," the HRW report stated.

A report in March by the UN Syria Commission of Inquiry warned that Syria has witnessed a large escalation in fighting in the last four years.

Kurdistan Asayish arrest 4 alleged smugglers in connection with Italy migrant shipwreck
25-06-2024
[Rudaw] Kurdish security forces (Asayish) on Tuesday announced the arrest of four suspected smugglers in connection with a deadly migrant shipwreck off the coast of Italia last week that killed at least 34 people.

"After investigating and collecting information on the suspects involved in smuggling the citizens of the Kurdistan Region to the Italian coast ... four big smugglers were arrested by judge’s order," Sulaimani-based Asayish said in a statement.

Two shipwrecks off the coast of Italia last week killed at least 34 migrants colonists. Most of the passengers were from the Kurdistan Region and Iran’s western Kurdish areas (Rojhelat), as well as from Bangladesh, Pakistain, Egypt, and Syria.

Italian authorities reported that 67 people were on board one of the vessels that capsized 120 nautical miles off the coast of Calabria.

Asayish assured "the citizens of the Kurdistan Region that its efforts and investigations will continue and anyone else involved in smuggling inside or outside the Region will be arrested and brought to justice," the statement said.

Tens of thousands of people from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region take on perilous routes out of the country towards Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
on a yearly basis in hopes of escaping the endless crises in the conflict-ridden country, including the lack of employment, political instability, a fragile economy and rampant corruption.

Among all the routes taken, the Central Mediterranean between the coast of North Africa and Italia and Malta is the deadliest in the world.

According to data from Italia’s interior ministry obtained by AFP news agency, arrivals to the country have dropped significantly since the beginning of the year, with 24,100 migrants colonists arriving so far this year, compared to 57,500 in the same period in 2023.

Around 20,000 people from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region migrated out of the country in the pursuit of greener pastures in 2023, with at least nine losing their lives on dangerous and illegal smuggling routes, according to the Summit (Lutka) Foundation for Refugees and Displaced Affairs.

Last month, the Asayish arrested Barzan Kamal Majeed, known as "Scorpion," one of the world’s most notorious migrant smugglers who was the subject of a BBC investigation in Sulaimani.

Europe
'Eternal victim' Kaja Kallas will continue the EU’s course towards confrontation with Russia
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Viktor Lavrinenko

[REGNUM] Recently, an official decision was made at the level of the European Commission: Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has been nominated for the post of EU Commissioner for Foreign Policy. She has already announced that she is leaving the post of head of the Estonian government, and they are looking for a successor.

All that remains for Kallas to take up her new post is to pass a hearing in the European Parliament, but this is expected to be just a necessary formality that is unlikely to prevent her from taking up the promised post.

The appointment of Callas, who was nicknamed “the princess of war” in her homeland for her irreconcilable attitude towards Russia, means that the European Commission has chosen the path of continuing confrontation.

"TOO AGGRESSIVE"
Kaja Kallas is one of those politicians who are most uncompromising towards Russia - this "merit" was noted several months ago by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, which declared Kallas wanted.

Last year there were rumors that they wanted to appoint her as the head of NATO, but the appointment did not take place, since this is really very dangerous: a nervous, unrestrained person who hates Russia at the head of a military bloc opposing Moscow.

However, Callas eventually received a different position, although less prestigious, but also very significant. She is tipped for the post of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and it is claimed that everything has already been decided. Frankly speaking, few people were delighted with this candidacy due to the specific personality of the Prime Minister of Estonia.

Among those who have been highly critical of Kallas's new post is her own compatriot, Jana Toom, an MEP. Toom says she is "infuriated" that the people behind the appointment "don't even try to pretend that the European Parliament plays any role here."

She reminds us that after the hearings, the EP technically approves the candidates and confirms the composition of the European Commission. "Last time, we sent home as many as two candidates. At the very least, the offended Giorgia Meloni (the Italian Prime Minister, who reacted negatively to Callas's appointment to the European Commission. - Ed.) will make sure that Callas's start is as unpleasant as possible, and as we know, she will have something to ask during the parliamentary hearings," Toom predicts.

Jana Toom expects that Kallas will be busy making scandalous and provocative statements in her new position. The MEP recalls how Kallas recently visited the Estonian parish of Võrumaa, where residents are protesting against the expansion of the Nursipalu military training ground located there.

The Prime Minister failed to convince residents of the strategic necessity of this object and angrily said that "evil people" live in Võru County, which greatly offended the residents of Võru County. "You can imagine that after an unsuccessful visit abroad, the EU High Representative says: evil people live in this country," Toom predicts.

Yana Toom's colleague in the Centre Party, Estonian MP Aleksandr Chaplygin, spoke even more harshly about Kallas's new appointment.

"I have serious doubts about the success of European diplomacy under Kaja Kallas. Firstly, she is too aggressive. Secondly, she is overly emotional and is not always able to control her words.

And, finally, she will be hampered by the role of an eternal victim, which is very strange for the daughter of a high-ranking communist and later a high-level European official,” writes Chaplygin.

THEY WRITE “MANGY DOGS”
By "eternal victim" Chaplygin means the role in which they decided to present Callas to the average European, who previously knew little about her. The Bild publication and the radio station Radio Free Europe (recognized in Russia as an undesirable organization) informed their audience that "European diplomacy will be headed by Putin's sworn enemy, whose family was repressed in the USSR."

It is hard to find a more graphic example of malicious manipulation of public opinion. Indeed, Kallas's maternal grandfather was repressed during the Soviet era. However, her father, Siim Kallas, was a high-ranking Soviet official, which Western propagandists try not to mention.

In 1972, shortly after completing his studies, he joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and had a very impressive career in the Soviet Union. Kallas Sr. worked in the Ministry of Finance of the Estonian SSR and headed the Estonian branch of the Soviet Savings Bank. Later, Siim Kallas, known as a very shrewd person, headed the daily socio-political newspaper in Estonian published by the Central Committee of the Communist Party and became a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.

In the early 90s, Kallas already commanded the main state bank of the independent Republic of Estonia. It was then that he pulled off a scam with several other high-ranking officials.

Estonia was the first of the Baltic countries to switch to its own currency. At the same time, Tallinn pledged to transfer the collected 1.4 billion rubles to Russia, but the money went to Chechnya. The buyer of the ruble cash could not be identified. As a result of this deal, Estonia lost at least $1.5 million, but some people gained a lot of money.

In 2010–2014, Kallas, who had by then “outgrown” tiny Estonia, held the posts of Vice-President of the European Commission and European Commissioner for Transport. In this position, he developed hyperactive lobbying activities, defending the need to build the Rail Baltica railway route, which will run from Poland through the Baltic States to Finland.

And he got his way: the European Commission approved this obviously unprofitable project, which has not been implemented to this day, but which serves as a reliable “feeding trough” for Baltic officials.

Apparently, the Callas family managed to somehow instill trust in the highest ruling elites of the West, to prove to them their loyalty and usefulness, since already the second representative of this family behind the scenes receives the post of European Commissioner.

But, of course, the stories about the Kallas family, who suffered under the Soviet regime, make anyone who is familiar with the family's past smile bitterly. Estonian publicist Eino Ingerman angrily called for the "journalist" who wrote about this to be sent by parcel to Professor Preobrazhensky: "let him return him to his natural, original state - a mangy dog."

Ingerman writes that the appointment of Kaja Kallas as the EU's head of diplomacy puts a "fat end" in the history of this union, and adds that Kallas is one of those who "lead Europe to decline, into darkness."

In turn, Kaliningrad political scientist Alexander Nosovich, who specializes in studying the Baltic countries, recalls that Callas is one of the least popular politicians in Estonia - this is evidenced by both opinion poll data and the publication of open letters calling for the resignation of the government.

At home, they don’t like her because under her rule the country fell into an economic crisis, and in this situation, Callas couldn’t find anything better than raising taxes. Nosovich puts Callas, who has a “stigma in fluff,” on a par with former Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite.

"BALTICIZATION" OF THE EUROPEAN UNION
Let us note that the same Lithuania under Grybauskaite was called “a country of one problem” in the EU. The only thing that worried Vilnius under this president (and this tradition was fully picked up by Grybauskaite’s successors) was the “aggressive machinations of the Kremlin” in all directions, which needed to be “repelled.”

It can be predicted that when Kaja Kallas begins to lead European diplomacy, the entire European Union will become a “union of one problem” - simply because Kallas is not interested in anything else except Russia and the fight against it, there is nothing else in her political portfolio. When such a figure heads the EU foreign policy service, this will mean the “Balticization” of the European Union, its fixation on one direction.

Until now, the European Union considered itself a global player and actively tried to promote its interests in Asia, Africa and South America.

The same Josep Borrell at the head of the EU foreign policy service was a vestige of the time when Spain and Portugal saw their role as being bridges between Brussels and Latin America.

However, the current situation forced the Spaniard Borrell to become a mouthpiece for Russophobia, which looked quite unnatural - Russia and Spain are separated by a considerable distance and have no reason for conflict.

"So Kaja Kallas will fit in very organically in place of Josep Borrell. And symbolically. She will be a symbol of the fact that the EU has dampened its ambitions on the world stage, withdrawn from Africa, withdrawn from South America and devoted itself entirely to inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia," Nosovich believes.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev also drew attention to Kallas’ new appointment. He recalled in his Telegram channel that while the Estonian prime minister was “screaming hysterically at the whole country about the Russian threat,” her husband Arvo Hallik, one of the owners of the transport company Stark Logistics, “did business with Russian companies with considerable benefit” and for 2022–2023 "scored about 1.5 million euros."

When these facts about Kallas's husband, who hysterically demanded that Estonian businessmen not have any dealings with Russia, came to light, a chorus of voices began to sound that the hypocrite prime minister should resign. But Kallas clung to her seat and could not be pushed aside.

Dmitry Medvedev writes with evil irony that Callas is “well versed in protecting human rights,” hinting that in Estonia, under this prime minister, a decision was made to liquidate Russian schools, and a hunt is underway for political activists and journalists who defend the interests of the local Russian community.

Kallas is also the author of the famous phrase "visiting Europe is not a right, but a privilege." And all "human rights protection" in Estonia under Kallas was reduced to the legalization of gay marriages...

In general, of course, the fact that it is Kaja Kallas who will “steer” the EU’s foreign policy looks like considerable nonsense. After all, the diplomacy of a giant entity, which includes some of the oldest and respected nations, will be headed by a representative of a small subsidized country on the eastern outskirts of the community, extremely unpopular in her homeland.

It is worth recalling that the Estonian Reform Party, led by Kallas, performed rather poorly in the recent European Parliament elections, managing to put forward only one candidate.

In other words, Kaja Kallas will be speaking on behalf of the entire European Union, while in fact representing almost no one, which is a manifestation of blatant anti-democratic behavior. And such an imposition of one's will on large nations will not lead to anything good.

However, one cannot deny at least one positive fact from this appointment: Estonians, having gotten rid of their hated prime minister, will at least breathe a sigh of relief.

Did Hakeem Jeffries Just Open the Door to Replacing Biden?
[New Republic] Asked if Joe Biden was the Democratic Party’s most effective messenger following his disastrous performance in Thursday night’s debate, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries sidestepped the question—and appeared to suggest an openness to replacing the president as the party’s nominee.

"President Biden is scheduled to speak today around noon, as I understand it, in North Carolina," Jeffries told AP reporter Farnoush Amiri Friday morning. "I’m looking forward to hearing from President Biden. And until he articulates a way forward in terms of his vision for America at this moment, I’m going to reserve comment about anything relative to where we are at this moment, other than to say I stand behind the ticket.

"I stand behind the Senate Democratic majority. And of course, we’re going to do everything that we need to do as House Democrats to win," Jeffries added.

Earlier in the day, Jeffries said that Biden shouldn’t step aside as the party’s nominee. But his answer to Amiri’s question suggests reservations, at the very least. After all, the New York Democrat is a party leader and not known for going against the rest of the Democratic orthodoxy, and he didn’t give a full-throated defense of Biden. Given the outright panic in Democratic circles, it would be shocking if the party’s leaders weren’t at least weighing their options at the moment.

While some Democrats have made outlandish defenses of the president, others have openly discussed how to replace Biden before November, mentioning a brokered convention and alternative candidates like Vice President Kamala Harris, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, or California Governor Gavin Newsom.

There is a clear consensus that Biden showed fatigue and a lack of mental sharpness at the debate, though there is no clear, obvious replacement waiting in the wings—and no easy way to sub Biden out. But there’s still time, as the Democratic National Convention isn’t until mid-August, and the calls will only grow louder if concerns go unresolved.

[Regnum] Investigators have opened a criminal case after a Ukrainian drone attack in the village of Gorodishche in the Kursk region, which killed five people, including two children. This was reported on June 29 by the press service of the Investigative Committee.

"The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act") regarding the attack by armed formations of Ukraine on the village of Gorodishche in the Rylsky District of the Kursk Region," the department reported.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, earlier on June 29, the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, reported a Ukrainian army UAV strike on the village of Gorodishche, which killed five people, including two children. He specified that two more people were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Later that day, Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova announced that she would appeal to international bodies after the terrorist attack by the Ukrainian army in the Kursk region. The Ombudsman also expressed deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

On the night of June 29, the air defense forces of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed six Ukrainian drones in the skies over the Tver, Bryansk and Belgorod regions, as well as over the Republic of Crimea.

A court in Bolivia sentenced the rebels to six months of pre-trial detention.
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] A court in Bolivia has sentenced the rebel generals detained during the attempted military coup to six months of pretrial detention. This was reported on June 28 by the Bolivian television channel Bolivia TV.

"Juan José Zúñiga, Juan Arnés and Edison Irajola, who are under investigation for terrorism and armed rebellion against the security and sovereignty of the state, have been sentenced to six months of preventive detention," reads a statement published on the channel's official website.

It is noted that the accused will spend six months of investigation in Chonchocoro prison in La Paz.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on June 26, a group of military personnel attempted to storm the Bolivian Government Palace and occupied the territory of the residence of the country's president, Luis Arce. The Bolivian president called the incident an attempt at a coup d'état and called on his fellow citizens to support the authorities and not allow the rebels to carry out their plans.

On June 27, law enforcement officers detained the former commander of the ground forces, General Juan José Zúñiga, who led the attempted coup. The country's Prosecutor General's Office charged him with terrorism and armed rebellion. That same day, Bolivia's Interior Minister Carlos del Castillo announced that 17 people had been detained in the case of the attempted seizure of power, in accordance with the order of the Prosecutor General's Office.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the situation in the Latin American republic, called what was happening its sovereign matter. He wished a speedy restoration of calm in Bolivia. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in turn, said that Moscow strongly condemns the attempted coup in Bolivia and expresses full support for the Arce government.

Elderly Couple Injured in Mexico When Cartel Drone Drops IED on Home
[Breitbart] An elderly couple sustained moderate injuries after a group of cartel gunmen dropped an IED on top of their home using a drone. The incident comes as cartels continue to operate with almost complete impunity in the western Mexican state of Michoacan, where various organizations are fighting a fierce turf war for control of drug production areas and trafficking routes.

The attack took place on Thursday night in the town of La Ruana, in the rural part of Michoacan, when a 72-year-old man and his 71-year-old wife were sleeping in their room, La Voz de Michoacan reported. During the night, a group of gunmen flew a drone over the town and dropped an explosive device that landed in the couple’s home.

The couple claimed to have heard a thud in their roof, followed shortly after by a loud blast. Emergency personnel arrived at the home and rushed the couple to a local hospital, where they are expected to recover.

The town of La Ruana is in a part of Michoacan that has a long history of cartel turf wars, as criminal organizations fight for control of drug production areas and trafficking routes into Mexico.

The drone attack comes at a time when drug cartels in Michoacan, such as Cartel Jalisco New Generations, La Familia Michoacan, Knights Templars, and others, have been innovating the use of IEDs in their turf wars.

Breitbart Texas was one of the first outlets to report on how these cartels had begun using commercial drones to drop IEDs on their enemies. The cartels are also manufacturing land mines and mortars.

Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The bulk cargo ship Lady Ayana, en route from Russia, ran aground off the coast of Istanbul in the Sea of Marmara. This was reported on Friday, June 28 by the Turkish TV channel TGRT Haber with reference to the General Directorate of the Turkish Coast Guard.

"Teams from the General Directorate of Coast Guard (KEGM) are working to rescue the bulk carrier heading from Russia to Tunisia... The bulk carrier Lady Ayana ran aground after anchoring in the Yesilköy area," the statement said.

It is noted that the KEGM-3 high-speed rescue boat and the Rescue-10 tug were sent to the scene of the incident to evacuate the crew of the dry cargo ship.

As Regnum reported, on January 21, the oil tanker Peria, flying the flag of Liberia, blocked traffic in the Bosphorus Strait. It was reported that the vessel's anchor broke due to bad weather. The suspension of ship transit through the Bosphorus was restored a few hours later, after the Peria tanker was towed to the pier in Istanbul.

Suspected accomplice in terrorist attack near Israeli embassy detained in Serbia
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Law enforcement agencies have detained a suspected accomplice in the terrorist attack at the Israeli embassy in Belgrade, the country's Interior Minister Ivica Dacic announced on June 29.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, whose words are quoted on the website of his department, clarified that the detainee’s name is Igor Despotovic and he was born in Belgrade in 1999. According to Dacic, the alleged accomplice in the attack was previously brought to administrative responsibility.

The minister noted that the detainee contacted the terrorist every day, which is why security forces began to suspect his involvement in the attack.

As Regnum reported, on June 29 in Belgrade, a man with a crossbow in his hands shot at a gendarme who was guarding the Israeli embassy building. The law enforcement officer was wounded in the neck, but was able to neutralize the criminal using his service weapon. The attacker subsequently died. The injured gendarme was hospitalized for surgery to remove the arrow.

Later, Ivica Dacic said that the incident at the embassy in Belgrade was classified as a terrorist attack. He said that security measures had been tightened in the Serbian capital after the incident.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Terrorists in West Bank may be able to fire rockets at Israel in a year — report
[IsraelTimes] Broadcaster cites Palestinian Authority sources as saying pro-Iranian elements believed behind efforts to smuggle sophisticated rockets to terror groups in West Bank via Jordan

At the current rate of smuggling from Jordan, Paleostinian terror groups in the West Bank will be able to launch rockets into Israel within a year, according to a Wednesday evening report citing bigwigs in the Paleostinian Authority security forces.
So they have 11 months to be dealt with?
Speaking to the Kan broadcaster, the sources said that these rockets would be similar in quality to the tens of thousands of projectiles fired from Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
in recent years — far more sophisticated than the primitive projectiles launched from Jenin at the Afula and Bat Hefer areas on several occasions in the past year.

Both the Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
and Paleostinian Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...
terror groups are believed to be involved in the smuggling operation, Kan reported, adding that explosives, money and knowledge on bomb-making were being transferred from Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
to the West Bank via Jordan, with Iranian guidance.

Israel Defense Forces operations in Tulkarem and Qalqilya, in the West Bank, are related to the effort to smuggle more sophisticated rockets via Jordan, the report added.

In 2023, a Paleostinian group in the northern West Bank calling itself the al-Ayyash Battalion — apparently named for a notorious Hamas bomb-maker killed by Israel — attempted a series of mostly unsuccessful rocket launches at Israeli towns and West Bank settlements.

The IDF said at the time that the homemade projectiles did not contain explosive payloads, though one managed to fly some 100 meters (330 feet).

Fabian Hinz, a researcher at the International Institute for Strategic Studies who specializes in missiles and drones, told The Times of Israel in mid-2023 that the West Bank rockets were not comparable even to early versions of projectiles launched from the Gaza Strip at Israel from 2001.

"I would imagine it would be possible to build something less crude than that, especially if you have some sort of experience, technology... knowledge and assistance from the Gaza Strip," he said. "It looks like something a guy made in his backyard."

On Wednesday, Kan also cited a senior Jordanian source as saying that Amman had discovered two explosives storage sites near the capital in the past few days, and suspects Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and its proxies are behind them.

One was said to be located near an airport in southeastern Amman that is used by the United States military, and another was in the same area.

A Jordanian investigation into the sites was still underway, Kan reported, citing a bigwig in Amman.

Over the past year, Jordan has said it has foiled many attempts to smuggle weapons by infiltrators linked to pro-Iranian groups in Syria, who Amman says have crossed into the Hashemite Kingdom with rocket launchers and explosives. Jordan says some of the weapons have gone through undetected.

Iran has denied being behind such attempts.

Jordanian officials say that most of the clandestine flow of arms into the country has been bound for the neighboring West Bank, and that several citizens with links to Hamas have been detained on suspicion of smuggling arms to Paleostinians.

The Grand Turk
Global finance watchdog removes Turkey from ‘grey’ list
[Rudaw] Global anti-money laundering watchdog Financial Action Task Force (FATF) removed The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
from the list of countries that require special scrutiny over money laundering concerns on Friday.
That seems a tad precipitous, as they seem to be struggling at the moment.
FATF downgraded Turkey to its "grey list" in 2021, for failing to supervise its banking and real estate and other sectors to money-laundering and financing organizations such as the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS).

Following rounds of meetings with Ottoman Turkish officials, the watchdog delisted Turkey.
That’s all it takes? Goodness, Pakistan could have put an end to their FATF misery years ago.
FATF said in a statement that Turkey made "significant progress" in addressing its anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism deficiencies.

"They have completed their Action Plans to resolve the identified strategic deficiencies within agreed timeframes and will no longer be subject to the FATF’s increased monitoring process," read the statement from the Gay Paree-based organization.

Before the Friday meeting of FATF, Ottoman Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek wrote "we succeeded" on X, following it with a Ottoman Turkish flag emoji.

Ottoman Turkish officials welcomed the decision.

"With this development, international investors' confidence in our country's financial system has become even stronger," Ottoman Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz said on X, adding that the decision is an "extremely positive" outcome for the country’s finance and real sector.

When the FATF adds a country to the grey list, "it means the country has committed to resolve, swiftly, the identified strategic deficiencies within agreed timeframes and is subject to increased monitoring," according to the organization.

The removal from the grey list could help to improve Turkey’s crippled economy. Following the announcement of the decision, the value of US dollars against the Ottoman Turkish lira decreased from 32.94 to 32.87.

There are over 20 countries in FATF’s "grey list" which are considered risky. The organization also has a "black list" which is for countries considered "high risk" jurisdictions.

The lira has been in freefall since a military coup in 2016, and the government of President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
took unprecedented unilateral measures including successive state of emergency declarations which greatly isolated the country.

Pro-Iran militia says ‘American’ airstrike killed a member on Iraq-Syria border

militia group was designated by Washington in November.

Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada said in a statement that the vehicle of one of its fighters, Abdullah Razzaq al-Safi, was hit on Friday in "a treacherous American bombing," adding that he was patrolling the Iraqi-Syrian border when the airstrike took place.

The US-led coalition has denied carrying out the attack.

"Reports stating that U.S. or coalition forces carried out an airstrike on the Iraq-Syria border on Friday are untrue. No such operation took place," a spokesperson for the Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) told Rudaw.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Friday that a "violent mostly peaceful explosion" took place in al-Bukamal, Deir ez-Zor province on the Iraq-Syria border. The area is under the control of pro-Iran militia groups.

Several activists and experts said on X that a shipment of Iranian weaponry was hit in an apparent Israeli airstrike. Rudaw English could not independently verify the information.

The US designated Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada and its leader Hashim Finyan Rahim al-Saraji in November, accusing them the group of receiving support from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and involvement in dozens of attacks on American interests in Iraq and Syria since Israel’s war with Paleostinian Hamas

[BREITBART] On Friday’s broadcast of "CNN

that "you saw yesterday" on the debate stage "making it four-and-a-half more years. And so, you do have to acknowledge, there is a high likelihood that a Joe Biden victory ultimately means Kamala Harris will be president."

Host Abby Phillip said, "This has been something that they have described as a conservative talking point, a hitjob, that she’s really the one on the ballot. But it seems like, at this very moment, that is true."

Jones responded, "Yeah. Because, look, Joe Biden did a great job today, and that was a relief for a lot of people, but it’s hard to unsee yesterday. And it’s hard to imagine the guy you saw yesterday making it four-and-a-half more years. And so, you do have to acknowledge, there is a high likelihood that a Joe Biden victory ultimately means Kamala Harris will be president. So, people need to make the decision, do you feel comfortable? Do you feel good about that?"

Olde Tyme Religion
Archbishop Vigan : I accuse Bergoglio of heresy and schism
Rents just went way up in Avignon...
[LIFESITENEWS] "When I think that we are in the palace of the Holy Office, which is the exceptional witness of the Tradition and of the defense of the Catholic Faith, I cannot stop myself from thinking that I am at home, and that it is me, whom you call ’the traditionalist,’ who should judge you." So spoke Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1979, when he was summoned to the former Holy Office, in the presence of the prefect, Cardinal Franjo Šeper, and two other prelates.

As I stated in my communiqué of June 20, I do not recognize the authority of the tribunal that claims to judge me, nor of its prefect, nor of the one who appointed him. This decision of mine, which is certainly painful, is not the result of haste or a spirit of rebellion; but rather is dictated by the moral necessity which, as bishop and successor of the apostles, obliges me in conscience to bear witness to the truth, that is, to God Himself, to Our Lord Jesus Christ.

I face this trial with the determination that comes from knowing that I have no reason to consider myself separate from communion with the Holy Church and with the papacy, which I have always served with filial devotion and fidelity. I could not conceive of a single moment of my life outside this one Ark of Salvation, which providence has constituted as the Mystical Body of Christ, in submission to its Divine Head and to His vicar on earth.

The enemies of the Catholic Church fear the power of grace which works through the sacraments, and above all the power of the Holy Mass, a terrible katechon which frustrates many of their efforts and wins to God so many souls who would otherwise be damned. And it is precisely this awareness of the power of the supernatural action of the Catholic priesthood in society that lies at the origin of their fierce hostility to tradition.

Satan and his minions know full well what a threat the one true Church poses to their antichristic plan. These subversives — whom the Roman pontiffs have courageously denounced as enemies of God, the Church, and humanity — are identifiable in the inimica vis, Freemasonry. It has infiltrated the hierarchy and succeeded in making it lay down the spiritual weapons at its disposal, opening the doors of the citadel to the enemy in the name of dialogue and universal brotherhood, concepts that are intrinsically Masonic. But the Church, following the example of her Divine Founder, does not dialogue with Satan: She fights him.

09:55 Front-line report as of June 29 from military correspondent Yevgeny Lisitsyn:

Kupyansko-Svatovskoye direction: Russian troops advanced to the administrative borders of Myasozharovka, knocking out the enemy from positions in the forest belts east of the village. Fighting resumed in the area of Stepnaya Novoselka and Stelmakhovka, despite the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russian troops achieved tactical successes southeast of Sin'kovka.

Donetsk direction: Russian Armed Forces advanced from Georgievka to the outskirts of Central and Oktyabrskaya streets in Maksimilyanovka, expanding the control zone southwest of Pobeda.

Khar'kov direction: in the Volchansk area, the Ukrainian command ordered the troops in the city and the Volchanskiye Khutors area to break through towards each other, trying to reach a large chalk quarry. Despite the loss of the bridgehead in the village of Tikhoe, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are concentrating personnel in the “gray zone.” However, Russian positions in the quarry area, fortified by numerous dumps, are prepared for defense, which makes the assault extremely difficult and leads to high losses for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Kherson direction: fighting continues on the islands, in particular in the area of the Antonovsky Bridge.

Zaporozhye direction: in the Rabotino and Verbovoy areas no changes.

South Donetsk direction: the Russian Armed Forces are making their way from the southern part of Urozhaynoye, pushing the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces closer to the center.

Donetsk direction: in Krasnogorovka, Russian troops are advancing through a one-story building in the western part of the city, trying to cut off the enemy from communications. The maneuver is not yet completed. To the south of the highway, from Novomikhailovka, progress is made towards the Konstantinovka-Ugledar road.

Avdeevka direction: Russian troops are hitting the fortifications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Karlovka area. A tactical advance was recorded in Yasnobrodovka; the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense line is gradually being broken through. In Sokol, the clearing of the village is being completed. In Novoselovka, the First Ukrainian Armed Forces hold their positions despite fierce fighting.

Artyomovsk direction: The Russian Armed Forces knock out the remnants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the western part of the Kanal microdistrict in Chasov Yar. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to tie up the flanks, imposing oncoming battles; fighting is taking place again in Andreevka and Kleshcheevka; the status of these settlements is still unclear.

08:50 Artillerymen showed combat work of the 220mm BM-27 Uragan MLRS in the South Donetsk direction of the Northern Military District. Combat crews of multiple launch rocket systems of the Vostok group of forces are in constant combat readiness. The order to hit a detected target can come at any time.

"I receive the target coordinates from the senior commander. I calculate the firing positions, drive to the positions, aim the vehicle and launch the rockets. All this takes about 7-8 minutes," he noted.

08:12 Enemy reports:

"The Russian Armed Forces took control of the main part of Sokol, advanced between Novopokrovsky and Umansky, in Yevgenyevka, and entered Yuzhnoye (formerly Leninsky). In addition, the Russian Armed Forces advanced near the settlement of Shumy, entered the settlement of Zheleznoye (formerly Khutor Nelipovsky), and also advanced in the Nevsky area.

The Russian Armed Forces also took control of the Chernaya Kurganka quarry, the Severnaya mine, and the Gagarin mine. In addition, the Russian Armed Forces entered the Yuzhnaya mine. The red zone was changed to gray in Severny and near the settlement, as well as in the Serebryansky forestry. A gray zone also appeared in the Kanal in Chasovy Yar microdistrict, as well as in Yasnobrodovka."

08:08 Destruction of the Baba Yaga UAV in the Khar'kov direction –video.

08:00 Barrel artillery breaks through way for our infantry.

Oklahoma's immigration law halted; AG Drummond says he will appeal
[JustTheNews] The United States Department of Justice, Padres Unidos de Tulsa and several individuals sued to stop the law.

A federal judge issued a preliminary injunction of Oklahoma's immigration law on Friday, setting up an appeal from Attorney General Gentner Drummond.

The Oklahoma Legislature passed a bill that would make "impermissible occupation" a state crime, allowing state law enforcement officers to arrest people found to be in the country illegally. Gov. Kevin Stitt signed the bill into law, which would have gone into effect Monday.

The United States Department of Justice, Padres Unidos de Tulsa and several individuals sued to stop the law.

U.S. District Judge Bernard M. Jones said in his order that Oklahoma “may have understandable frustrations with the problems caused by illegal immigration . . . , but the State may not pursue policies that undermine federal law," a referral to a 2012 Arizona case.

Drummond said he is appealing.

"While today’s court ruling is disappointing, I will not stop fighting for Oklahoma and our right to protect our borders," Drummond said. "The Biden Administration’s complete failure to enforce federal immigration laws made House Bill 4156 a necessity."

The House of Representatives Latino Caucus praised the decision and called the law "political theater."

“This bill was a clear political stunt meant to secure the primary elections of our Republican leaders and it wasn’t even successful,” said Rep. Annie Menz, D-Norman. “Instead, it targeted a large portion of Oklahoma, angered law enforcement officials, and attempted to bypass the constitution. An injunction is the obvious choice.”

The ruling is the third time a federal judge has stopped a state from creating its own immigration law. A federal court is deciding whether an illegal immigration law in Texas should take effect.

Earlier this month, a federal judge issued an injunction halting a similar law passed by the Iowa Legislature. Attorney General Breanna Bird is appealing the decision. m
