[TOLONEWS] Several female teachers in the capital have voiced their concerns regarding delays and reductions in their salaries by the Ministry of Education.
These educators call on the Islamic Emirate to reconsider the decision to cut their pay.
The concerns were sparked by a letter, purportedly signed by the acting Minister of Education, circulating in the media. The letter requested the Ministry of Finance to halt the payment of female teachers' salaries until a decision to reduce their pay to 5,000 afghani is finalized.
However,
ars longa, vita brevis... the Islamic Emirate has yet to confirm the authenticity of this letter.
Razia, who has dedicated over 18 years to serving in the education sector and supports a family of seven, told TOLOnews that she used to spend more than 5,000 of her 9,000 Afghani salary on rent and utility bills, and now she is extremely worried.
"Our request to the Islamic Emirate government is not to reduce the salaries of teachers who are currently working and doctors who are working in hospitals. In these past two or three years, we have managed to stand on our own feet. If our salaries are reduced further, it will cause us significant problems," she added.
Other female teachers have also expressed concerns about the reduction and suspension of their salaries by the interim government, saying they are currently facing serious economic challenges.
Jamila, another female teacher, said: "Our request to the Islamic Emirate is that despite all the difficulties, we have continued to work and serve the nation's children. We have managed to live with the salaries we received, despite many challenges. Our request is that if our salaries cannot be increased, at least they should not be reduced."
Tahira, another teacher, said: "I hope the news is not true, and that they change their decision. We should remain with our previous salaries. If they can increase our benefits, that would be great, but they should not reduce them."
Although the presence of female employees in some government departments has been banned since the Islamic Emirate regained power in Afghanistan, their salaries are still being paid by the government.

[SUDANTRIBUNE] Eight people, including women and children, were killed and 18 others injured in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, on Monday. The deaths occurred after a drone, reportedly launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), targeted a mosque housing a volunteer kitchen providing aid to displaced people.
El Fasher continues to endure daily artillery shelling and drone strikes as the RSF has been attacking the city since 10 May, resulting in numerous civilian deaths and the displacement of thousands.
Dr Ibrahim Al-Ghali, a doctor in El Fasher, told Sudan Tribune: “An RSF drone fired several shells at the ‘Takia’ of the Tijaniya Mosque, killing eight civilians and injuring 18 others.”
He explained that the targeted site provided daily meals to the remaining residents of the Tijaniya neighbourhood, making it a refuge for many women and children seeking food.
Several youth initiatives in El Fasher are providing food and aid to the remaining residents, as the RSF has imposed a siege on the city for over two months, preventing essential food and medicine from reaching the population.
Eyewitnesses informed Sudan Tribune that a large wave of displacement from the northern neighbourhoods of El Fasher and the Abu Shouk camp continues towards the town of “Tawella,” controlled by the Sudan Liberation Movement led by Abdel Wahid Nur.
The displacement is ongoing as the RSF intensifies its artillery shelling on the Abu Shouk camp, which shelters more than 400,000 people.

[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... ese army (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) must negotiate an immediate ceasefire to guarantee unhindered access to people in need of humanitarian assistance, an official from the United States aid arm (USAID) said.
Samantha Power, the administrator for USAID, described the crisis in Sudan as "man-made", and accused the warring factions involved in the crisis of obstructing efforts to reach the needy. Samantha "Shanty Irish" Power. Obama clinger
Recent reports say about 25.6 million people could face crisis or worse levels of severe hunger and require immediate humanitarian assistance.
Another projection show that 755,000 people are on the brink of starvation.
"This is a man-made crisis — directly caused by the 14 months of conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF), and the systematic obstruction of humanitarian aid by both parties", Power said in a statement on Friday.

[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Sudanese army announced on Tuesday that its forces regained control of the Doha neighbourhood and its surroundings west of Omdurman city in Khartoum state.
According to a statement issued by the office of the official spokesperson for the armed forces, “The army achieved significant successes in Omdurman by clearing the Doha neighbourhood and its surroundings.”
The army confirmed that its forces seized and destroyed several combat vehicles belonging to what it called the “terrorist militia of the Dagalo family,” in addition to killing several Rapid Support Forces (RSF) members who had controlled the area since the war began in mid-April last year.
The Doha neighbourhood represented a defence line for the RSF, protecting the Dar es Salaam areas and their general areas of control in parts of Umbada, Libya Market, and Kandahar Market west of Omdurman.
In March, the Sudanese army managed to regain control of the radio and television headquarters and the old Omdurman area.
Later, the army made progress by taking control of some parts of the Umbada suburb west of Omdurman, while the Salha suburb south of Omdurman remains in the hands of the RSF, reaching the locality of Jabal Aulia in the far southwest of Khartoum state.
Meanwhile, the Sudanese army bombed several RSF sites east of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, on Tuesday morning. The RSF also shelled several locations west of El Fasher with heavy artillery.

[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued targeting health facilities in North Darfur state, shelling two hospitals in El Fasher on Tuesday.
This is the ninth such attack since fighting broke out in El Fasher between the army, the RSF, and their allies on 10 May. These clashes saw the use of heavy weaponry, including airstrikes and artillery.
The governor of the Darfur region, Minni Minawi, confirmed in a tweet on platform X that the RSF destroyed a private hospital in El Fasher’s Grand Market. He stated this meant they had targeted all hospitals in the area with high-precision cannons reportedly brought from the Emirates.
In a second tweet, Minawi said that the RSF bombed Jabal Marra Hospital in El Fasher less than 40 minutes after the attack on the private hospital.
A doctor informed Sudan Tribune that the shelling of the Jabal Marra medical complex extensively damaged the building but left the medical equipment unharmed.
The RSF’s targeting of medical facilities in El Fasher is seen as an attempt to cripple the health sector. The indiscriminate shelling has already destroyed the dialysis centre, El Fasher South Hospital, the Saudi Hospital, and several private medical centres.
The military spokesperson for the Sudan Liberation Movement-Transitional Council, Ahmed Jaddo, told Sudan Tribune that the movement, in cooperation with the Sudan Liberation Forces Gathering faction headed by El Taher Hajar, ensured the safe arrival of approximately 500 people from El Fasher to the areas of Tawilla, Korma, and Kebkabiya.

For those interested an indispensable document to access is the following:
Sudan crisis: The ruthless mercenaries who run the country for gold, 19 July 2019.
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Lt Gen Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, stressed on Tuesday that the armed forces will not negotiate with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) until the Jeddah Agreement is implemented, affirming his confidence in defeating them.
Al-Burhan concluded a visit to the Wadi Sidna and Omdurman areas on Tuesday evening, where he inspected the Sudanese forces stationed there and praised the recent attacks carried out by the army against the RSF in Al-Doha, west of Omdurman.
He seized this visit, which came after the RSF took control of Sinjah, the capital of Sennar State, to reiterate the army’s determination to defeat the “enemy” and refuse negotiations while they continue their attacks and occupy Sudanese territory. He renewed his pledge to cleanse all of Sudan of “the mercenaries of the terrorist militia.”
Addressing a military gathering at the Wadi Sidna military base north of Omdurman, al-Burhan said, “We are continuing in this battle until victory, and I repeat once again that we will not negotiate with an enemy who attacks us and occupies our lands.”

[Al Jazeera] President Emmanuel Macron called the snap polls after suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of the far right in the recent European Parliament elections. But his risky gamble has backfired.
While National Rally secured about a third of Sunday’s vote with 33.15 percent, the New Popular Front, a left-wing alliance, came second with 28.14 percent. Macron was left red-faced again, as his centrist alliance scored just 20.76 percent. Thousands of protesters have taken to the streets since to rally against the far right.
Elias, a 27-year-old who works in marketing, said many Moslems are considering emigrating from La Belle France if the National Rally ends up governing — a trend which has already taken hold among some professionals. A Campaign-contribution statement. Please say more
Earlier this year, the authors of a study titled La La Belle France, tu l’aimes mais tu la quittes (La Belle France, loving it but leaving it), conducted a survey of more than 1,000 people, interviewing 140 at length. They cited a "brain drain" of French Moslems quitting the country for jobs abroad because of the "harmful effects of Islamophobia ...the irrational fear that Moslems will act the way they usually do... While a "valid" reaction to discrimination or the rise of the far right, Elias said he feels "torn".
"If we all leave, who will continue to resist? I think it is important to stay, at least for the future generations," said Elias, who has Algerian ancestry.
"What’s also making me very worried is the potential increase of police violence. There will probably be a surge of racial profiling and of violence, because the officers will feel protected and supported by the National Rally.
"I am scared for my little brother, who is 15 years old and who had his first police check when he was only 13."

I say that Islam is an ideology, not a religion. As such its an ideological structure that's derived from several fundamental conditions. Its primary ideas are formed and thus conducive to promoting human behaviors that thrive on a life structured to stay functioning in very barren conditions. A climate where there are essentially no winters.. Such activities are:
1) An individual's survival rate in a barren land improves with parasitic types of behavior rather than individualistic productive behaviors. Hence the need to conform to the group under Islam. Individualism is bad. The Borg thrives.
In a parasitic world, 1 + 1 = 2. One gains by taking from another, rather than creating one's now growth. In the West (and essentially since agriculture began) our western world operates on 1 + 1 = 2.3. Our improved standard of living (called growth the added 0.3 that comes from combining and recombining inputs in new and ever changing ways. Eggs, milk, water and flour has value buy combining them makes a cake which has more value than the isum of the individual inputs. All thing in economic are based on "making something of value. The combined inputs has more value than the operate inputs.
2) The awareness of time in Islam play's little importance in understanding how things work in the real world. Planning ahead is not something that is an inculcated cultural idea in Islam.
3) Logic is also not a primary goal, rather logic's importance only randomly pops up here and there. Scientific method is not Islamic thing. How many islamists are adept at logical public debate? Few if at all. All of these cultural aspects are found by cultures living close to the equator, where seasonality doesn't play a role in decisions about survival. Agriculture is no a big thing in Islam's history. Substance farming is NOT farming. It's more based on nomadic behaviors.
The Islamic calendar is not based on the Sun (365 days) but based on the lunar calendar. Thus Ramadan shifts by 11 days each year. Islam is a pre-agriculture hold-over culture. It's primarily based on Nomadic based values. (don't confuse nomadic with tribal behaviors) A year in Islam still can't adapt to actual agricultural planting cycles. Planting crops in an Islamic world will certainly fail. Islam's ideas are primarily parasitic types of behavior. Take, don't make. Plunder rather than trade. This is why one sees Islamic emigration to Northern climates (where winters force our culture to plan ahead or die out) sees a preponderance of on-the-dole types of dependency.
Islamic rates of procreation are a baked in response to hardship where agricultural productivity is not and was not the primary form of obtaining nourishment for centuries. Haj is structured to allow parasitic behavior upon outsiders coming in. Bringing new ideas, new productivity and added value to the barren western and central parts of Arabia. Without outsiders coming en-mass for centuries the Western areas of Arabia would have long faded out.
It's only since 1938's oil well #7 did oil funds (external Western economic value roll in) supplanting century's of unproductive, Islamic cultural behavior. Arabia (up until oil revenue) had for centuries zero rivers, no top soil, no agriculture, no written laws, do democratic behaviors, only subsistence behaviors. No inventions, no books, no libraries, no indegious cuisine, no true architecture, not even true settled communities. Consangiuos interpersonal behaviors were rampant up until the late 1960's. (look up Aramco medical research) Qatif, Hofuf and Jeddah were basically the only "settled areas". Islam in Europe is not truly compatable. It is not a "clash of civilizations", but rather a clash of cultures. Islam has not inculcated an awareness of time (planning ahead) into its value system, while European (Western) culture is heavily based on being able to foresee one's own actions and the consequences of not foreseeing the future consequences on present decisions (personal responsibility)
Yes, Islam is truly an ideology incompatible with modern technology (past 200 years). Today one is constantly bombarded by how fast values, and ideas are changing. Imagine growing up in a culture that lacks an awarenees of time, planning ahead and having to deal with the rapid changes cause by technology one didn't create. Count how many Islamic ideas have been awarded a Nobel prize? Too few to even list. There's reason why I believe that Islam is not compatible with today's world. It will likely fade from being of true consequence. Peak oil production is a real thing. It just is being kept a bay for the time being by Western technology.... thank goodness. I predict France's current predicament will not last and will fade to be a long term problem. God I hope I'm right. But if I'm not....I won't be around to see it unfold. Take care all.

Lesser known Churchill quote on Islam:
"Indeed it is evident that Christianity, however degraded and distorted by cruelty and intolerance, must always exert a modifying influence on men’s passions, and protect them from the more violent forms of fanatical fever, as we are protected from smallpox by vaccination. But the Mahommedan religion increases, instead of lessening, the fury of intolerance. It was originally propagated by the sword, and ever since its votaries have been subject, above the people of all other creeds, to this form of madness. In a moment the fruits of patient toil, the prospects of material prosperity, the fear of death itself, are flung aside.
The more emotional Pathans are powerless to resist. All rational considerations are forgotten. Seizing their weapons, they become Ghazis—as dangerous and as sensible as mad dogs: fit only to be treated as such. While the more generous spirits among the tribesmen become convulsed in an ecstasy of religious bloodthirstiness, poorer and more material souls derive additional impulses from the influence of others, the hopes of plunder and the joy of fighting.
Thus whole nations are roused to arms. Thus the Turks repel their enemies, the Arabs of the Soudan break the British squares, and the rising on the Indian frontier spreads far and wide. In each case civilisation is confronted with militant Mahommedanism. The forces of progress clash with those of reaction. The religion of blood and war is face to face with that of peace. Luckily the religion of peace is usually the better armed. —The Story of the Malakand Field Force (1898), 26-27
[Al Jazeera] On Tuesday, Lloyd Doggett, a House Representative from Texas, became the first member of his party to publicly call on Biden to quit the race.
“I represent the heart of a congressional district once represented by Lyndon Johnson. Under very different circumstances, he made the painful decision to withdraw,” Doggett said in his statement.
“President Biden should do the same.”
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, a House Representative for Washington state, stopped short of calling on Biden to withdraw, but said she believed Thursday’s debate performance would cost him the election in November.
“We all saw what we saw, you can’t undo that, and the truth, I think, is that Biden is going to lose to Trump. I know that’s difficult, but I think the damage has been done by that debate,” Perez said in an interview with the KATU news channel in Portland, Oregon.
Jared Golden, a House Representative in Maine, also said that he believed that Trump would win and he was “OK with that”.
“Lots of Democrats are panicking about whether President Joe Biden should step down as the party’s nominee,” Golden said in an opinion piece published in The Bangor Daily News.
“Biden’s poor performance in the debate was not a surprise.”

Its one of those subtle things about that showing which seems tough to hit.
The media, and Brandon's handlers, have been building up this narrative that people of Joe's age need a bit more care, a bit slower tempo, he's an old man for crissakes!
And then there is Trump, same age slice, in such a stark contrast in energy and alertness (whatever you thought of his showing), that narrative was critically demolished.
Also hilarious is CNN being thrown under the bus to bail water for the crypt keeper look. They eat their own, kids! They eat their own! Not even CNN is above it.
“Biden’s poor performance in the debate was not a surprise.”
Oh I think it was, that it would be so poor even with the low expectations. What it has shown, is they don't give a fig about lying to you, they don't give a fig about Joe Biden, holder of the office of The President of the United States, at all, so you damn well better be sure they don't give a fig about you.

They will need to come down hard on somebody to stop the leaks, but that person can just quit and give interviews. I don’t see how they can control the story of Joe’s condition because it’s reality. Joe can’t prove that he is not senile to the American people because he is senile.

[Al Jazeera] US President Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu are set to meet when the Israeli leader visits Washington, DC later this month to address Congress, a White House official has said.
Netanyahu has controversially been invited to speak at a joint session of the US House of Representatives and the Senate on July 24. The address is being boycotted by several high-profile politicians, including Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. They won't be missed
Tensions have increased between the two leaders, with Biden labelling Israel’s military campaign in Gaza as “over the top” and Netanyahu accusing the US of withholding military support.

[Al Jazeera] Israeli fighter jets bombed several villages in southern Lebanon overnight, including Yaroun, Tayr Harfa and Aitaroun, the Israeli military said in a post on X.
The strikes targeted sites belonging to Hezbollah, the post added.
Since October 7, Israel has launched at least 6,142 attacks on Lebanon, about 83 percent of the total of 7,400 attacks launched from either side of the Israel-Lebanon border, by Israel, Hezbollah and others, according to data from the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project.
At least 543 people have been killed by Israeli strikes in Lebanon, while at least 21 Israelis have been killed by strikes by Hezbollah and others, during that same period.

[Al Jazeera] Palestinian fighters in Gaza City’s Shujayea neighbourhood conducted a “complex and multi-stage attack” on Israeli forces on Tuesday, which involved an ambush and the use of “thermobaric rockets”, war monitors report.
Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) forces first targeted a unit of Israeli soldiers in a building in Shujayea with a powerful thermobaric rocket but then redirected their attack at an Israeli rapid reaction force that was deployed to the firefight.
Palestinian fighters used “an explosively formed penetrator, rocket-propelled grenades, and additional thermobaric rockets” against the reaction force, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and the Critical Threats Project (CTP) said in their latest Gaza field report.
The combined ambush and attack by Hamas and PIJ was one of at least 10 attacks on Tuesday against Israeli forces currently operating in Shujayea, and indicates that Hamas has “at least partially reconstituted” its forces since Israeli ground troops were last in the area in April, the US-based defence think tanks report.

[Al Jazeera] There are only two or three people who know the whereabouts of Hamas’s leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, the London-based newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reports, citing Hamas sources.
“A very small circle of no more than two or three people at most knows his whereabouts and secures his various needs, as well as ensuring his communication with the movement’s leaders inside and outside,” the source said.
The source continued that while Israel has tried to assassinate “many of the first and second-tier leaders” of Hamas, “Sinwar is not among” those who have been killed.
The sources did not specify whether Sinwar was hiding above ground or in tunnels in the Palestinian enclave. They added that they did not believe the Hamas leader would consider a deal that would see him exiled.

Let me make a wild guess - he's an Egypt, guest of the pro-Western El Sisi.
[NYPOST] Embattled former Mayor Rudy Giuliani – a former prosecutor known for his work in taking down the mob in the Big Apple – can no longer practice law in New York, an appeals court ruled Tuesday.
“Rudolph William Giuliani, is disbarred from the practice of law, effective immediately, and until the further order of this Court, and his name stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law in the State of New York,” the First Department appeals court wrote in a decision released Tuesday.
[DC ht AOS] A "highly unusual and potentially chilling effort" is underway to reign in the Deep State and put an end to government actors subverting the will of American voters, Republican or Democrat.
Stop it guys, you’re getting me too excited.
Conservative-backed group is creating a list of federal workers it suspects could resist Trump plans https://t.co/L65nRXbJoJ
"Seasoned political operative" Tom Jones and his American Accountability Foundation are making a list. They better check twice. And they’re gonna find out who’s, well... really just who’s naughty.
With a $100,000 grant from the Heritage Foundation, Jones is taking a deep dive into the "backgrounds, social media posts and commentary of key high-ranking government employees." First up: Department of Homeland Security. The mission, dubbed Project Sovereignty 2025, is to compile a list of 100 potential saboteurs within the Deep State, and post their names publicly to let the world know who they really are.
This might sound drastic, but nothing could be more warranted.
The Deep State has worked overtime for nearly the past decade to hamstring candidate, President, and once again candidate Donald Trump from ever getting near the levers of American power. Sometimes they fail: the Mueller report, the absurd impeachments, and weaponized indictments that have yet to pay off in the polls. Other times they succeed, like the original Russiagate hoax and the endless slew of damaging leaks from within the federal bureaucracy that hobbled Trump’s entire first term. But the point of Jones’ list is to prevent Deep State saboteurs before they even get the chance to try.
The goal of posting the 100 names, according to the AP, is to expose who might impede "a second-term Trump agenda"— and who is "ripe for scrutiny, reclassifications, reassignments or firings."
To the Democratic handmaidens in the bureaucracy, this is all deeply disturbing. The mission reportedly "stunned democracy experts and shocked the civil service community."
Good, let them be stunned. No, more importantly — let them be afraid. They will be treated no worse than they’ve treated their own enemies over the past decade, but their days of subverting the rule of law, our constitutional system, and the good nature of the American people are over. It’s well past time for them to be treated as the enemies of the nation that they’ve long shown themselves to be.
This characterization is far more apt than calling them mere opponents of Donald Trump, or simply idiots suffering from TDS. It’s about far more than just one man.
The most truthful line Trump has ever said went something like, "They’re not after me, they’re after you — I’m just in the way."
These saboteurs want to fundamentally change how the system works. They will manipulate, subvert, and ultimately dismantle any institution that would limit their power. They want the system to benefit only themselves and their preferred groups, as it increasingly does, and they want to punish everyone who stands in their way. Anyone who threatens their place within the status quo, be it Trump, RFK Jr., or even Bernie Sanders, must be annihilated. The result is no less than the destruction of the nation itself.

The people recommending this should receive four times daily doses of the vaccine for 12 months to prove it's safe. If they are still alive after a year, I'll consider it for a femtosecond before refusing.

[WFB] Nearly nine months after Hamas's Oct. 7 terror attack, the Jewish state's political divisions have reemerged, with protests criticizing the government for various and often opposing reasons breaking out across the country.
But a sweeping new public opinion survey by pollsters affiliated with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem has revealed how the Oct. 7 attack on Israel solidified a national consensus on what used to be the country's main political disagreement. When it comes to the Palestinians, the survey found, almost everyone is a right-winger now.
"Oct. 7 caused a complete collapse of the old Israeli left," Hebrew University political psychologist Nimrod Nir, who led the survey, told the Washington Free Beacon. "Until a few years ago, I could find out which political camp you were in by asking you one question: Palestinian state, yes or no? Today, that question doesn't really differentiate the two camps because no one supports the old idea of a Palestinian state."
The findings help explain why the Biden administration has so far failed to persuade Israel to end its war to destroy the Palestinian terror group Hamas in Gaza and recommit to a two-state solution.
"There isn't even a majority for a Palestinian state among liberal voters anymore," Nir said. "It's just not on the table."
Nir and his team, known as Agam Labs, surveyed a nationally representative sample of 4,000 Jewish Israeli adults in August and then, from Oct. 9 through last month, checked back in with most of them every 10 days or so. By tracking so many of the same individuals over time, the pollsters were able to minimize noise and uncertainty—yielding the most comprehensive picture to date of how Israeli politics have shifted since Oct. 7.
Each round of polling had a margin of error of about 4 percentage points. But changes as small as 2 percentage points are significant if consistent over time, according to the pollsters.
The survey found that the rightward ratchet of Israeli politics across decades of Palestinian terrorism and rejectionism has lurched ahead since Oct. 7. Based on political self-identification, the right has grown by 5 percentage points to include 36 percent of Jewish Israelis, or 60 percent when the poll factors in the moderate and hard right. The left has shrunk by 3 percentage points to just 8 percent of the public, or 13 percent factoring in the moderate and hard left. And the center has held steady at about a quarter of the political spectrum.

[Federalist] A prominent Democrat law firm, founded by an architect of the Trump-Russia hoax, is suing to let foreign billionaires meddle in Ohio elections.
Ohio Republican Gov. Mike DeWine signed House Bill 1 on June 2, banning foreign nationals from spending money on state ballot measures. Elias Law Group, founded by Russia hoaxer Marc Elias, challenged the bill in court on June 27, according to The Associated Press.
Elias, while working for a law firm whose client was Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, paid Fusion GPS for the infamous Steele dossier that accused former President Donald Trump of ties to Russia. He then peddled the dossier to bureaucrats and legacy media.
Elias founded the Elias Law Group in 2021 to do the bidding of Democrat politicians, according to Influence Watch. The group, along with the law firm Cooper Elliott, sued in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, claiming that the state’s election integrity measure would harm public discourse.
"All noncitizens are now threatened with investigation, criminal prosecution, and mandatory fines if they even indicate they intend to engage in any election-related spending or contributions — including to support or oppose ballot questions in virtually any capacity," the lawsuit reads, according to the AP.
The Ohio law prohibits foreign nationals including green card holders, foreign political parties, foreign governments, and foreign businesses from contributing funding for "ballot issues or candidates."
So perhaps Elias’ real issue with Ohio’s ban on foreign campaign funding is that it keeps Democrats from doing what he falsely accused Trump of doing. The law simply bans foreign funders from interfering in Ohio elections to boost partisan turnout.
Caitlin Sutherland, director of Americans for Public Trust, pointed out the hypocrisy of Democrats who pretend to care about "foreign interference."
"For those following along at home, this means the attorney for a foreign billionaire is suing to make sure he can keep spending in Ohio," Sutherland wrote on X about Elias’ client, Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss. "I thought Dems said foreign interference is a problem?"
Compromised Interests
According to Influence Watch, Elias’ firm took $5 million from George Soros "sometime before 2016" to "challenge what left-wing activists allege to be restrictions that deter Democrats and left-wing constituencies from voting." The firm also represented the left-wing dark-money behemoth Arabella Advisors in 2022.
Wyss — known as the "new Soros," according to Bloomberg — has also given some $52 million through the Wyss Foundation to Arabella groups from 2010 to 2020. The groups have worked closely together over the years.
The Daily Caller revealed in 2016 that Wyss had given $41,000 to Democrat causes in 1998-2003, violating the federal ban on foreign nationals giving to campaigns. Americans for Public Trust filed a complaint in 2021 alleging illegal election interference from Wyss, the Wyss Foundation, and Arabella’s Sixteen Thirty Fund and New Venture Fund, and the Berger Action Fund, which was previously the Wyss Action Fund.
Wyss has also interfered in Ohio elections, reportedly funding groups that sent a total of $3.9 million to help codify a supposed right to abortion in the state’s constitution. The ballot measure passed in November.
So essentially, a lawyer for Wyss’s interests is now suing to return the levers of power in Ohio to people like the foreign billionaire. Wyss clearly has political aims, as the Wyss Foundation worked with John Podesta, former adviser to President Barack Obama, in 2015 to expand the Democrat voter base with election policy.
The Elias’ Law Group’s suit is not about fair treatment for foreigners residing in America. It is simply a desperate power grab for the dark-money influencers that seek to co-opt American elections for their own ends.
This bill overcame plenty of conflict to become law. Now Elias’ firm hopes to undo this protection for Ohio voters. Like some of Elias’ previous work, the judge in this case should treat it as an "absurd interpretation" of the law for partisan ends.

[ToI]An AIPAC-led campaign has set its sights on deposing the St. Louis congresswoman, another member of the far-left ’Squad’ up for reelection, though success is far from a given
Less than two days after AIPAC spent $14 million in a successful bid to send Rep. Jamaal Bowman packing in New York, the pro-Israel powerhouse texted a message to its followers: Their next target is Missouri Rep. Cori Bush.
"On Tuesday night, the pro-Israel community helped ensure anti-Israel Rep. Jamaal Bowman won’t be returning to Congress next year," said the fundraising text the American Israel Public Affairs Committee sent Thursday afternoon. "With your support, we can also help defeat Rep. Cori Bush, another member of the anti-Israel Squad."
Time was pressing, AIPAC said. "We have a short window to act." Bush’s primary is on August 6.
Bush, whose district includes St. Louis, has much in common with Bowman: Each ousted a long-serving establishment Democrat in a 2020 primary, and both are members of the far-left Squad in Congress.
They are also both harsh critics of Israel, voting against emergency funding for Israel in its war against Hamas, and accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.
"The U.N. special rapporteur just released a report showing strong evidence of genocide in Gaza," Bush said on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, in March. "Meanwhile, the Biden Admin signaled it’ll continue arming the Israeli government. Hollow words aren’t enough. We need action. Stop sending bombs."
On October 16, nine days after Hamas launched the war against Israel, massacring some 1,200 people inside the country and kidnapping 251, Bush introduced a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.

All administrations do it, but I suspect this "Biden" Administration are professionals when it comes to playing with statistics.
A recent jobs report had a boatload of jobs created by government, not the private sector. Not only does that not do much of anything for the economy, but it also can get counted twice in GDP numbers. How quaint.
[ToI] Israel has transferred NIS 435 million ($116 million) of withheld tax revenues to the Palestinian Authority, the Israeli and PA finance ministries confirm.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich agreed to partially transferring the last three months of withheld tax revenues and extend a corresponding banking agreement for Israeli and Palestinian banks by an additional four months.
The moves were part of a quid pro quo leveraged by Smotrich, which saw the Israeli security cabinet last week approve a series of moves to expand Israel’s presence in the West Bank and sanction the PA over its support for cases against Israel at the International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice along with three European countries recognizing the State of Palestine.
Israel collects taxes on goods that pass through Israel into the West Bank on behalf of the PA and is required under the Oslo Accords to transfer them to Ramallah on a monthly basis.
The tax revenues make up some 70 percent of the PA’s annual income, and Israel’s withholding of the funds has Ramallah on the brink of collapse, only able to pay its employees roughly half of their salaries for the past several months.
Since Hamas’s October 7 onslaught, Israel has refused to transfer the portion of the tax revenues that the PA uses to pay for services and employees in Gaza, claiming that the money could be seized by Hamas. These funds make up some 40% of the monthly transfers.
Israel also deducts funds for electricity, water and costs to treat Palestinians in Israeli hospitals in addition to offsetting the payments the PA makes to terror convicts and the families of slain attackers.
Even after all of these deductions, Palestinian officials say the amount transferred is far below taxes collected each month.
The PA says in a statement about its cabinet meeting earlier today that its contacts and international pressure led Israel to make the partial transfer of funds. The PA would push to recover more than 6 billion shekels of withheld funds, to meet its financial obligations.

[JPost] Pro-Paleo Anti-Joooo tools who've been burrowing in in Obama and Biden Admins
In a joint statement, the 12 former government officials said the administration was violating US laws through its support for Israel and finding loopholes to continue shipping weapons to its ally.
A dozen former US government officials who quit over US support for Israel's war in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday accused President Joe Biden's administration of "undeniable complicity" in the killing of Palestinians in the enclave.
In a joint statement, the 12 former government officials said the administration was violating US laws through its support for Israel and finding loopholes to continue shipping weapons to its ally.
Both the White House and the State Department had no immediate comment on the statement.
There has been mounting international criticism of Israel's conduct in Gaza and of US military and diplomatic support for its ally in the Gaza war.
The resignations of the 12 US officials reflects some dissent within the government over its support for Israel. Washington has pushed for the protection of civilians in Gaza and has called on Israel to improve aid access.
Among the people who signed the joint statement were former members of the State Department, Education Department, Interior Department, White House, and the military.
KEY QUOTES
"America's diplomatic cover for, and continuous flow of arms to, Israel has ensured our undeniable complicity in the killings and forced starvation of a besieged Palestinian population in Gaza," the former officials said in the statement.
They urged the US government to use its "necessary and available leverage" to bring the war to an end and to ensure the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza and Palestinian prisoners in Israel. They also demanded that the US government support Palestinian self-determination and fund an "immediate expansion of humanitarian assistance" in Gaza.

[JPost] Earlier on Wednesday, Israel's emergency medical response service, Magen David Adom (MDA), reported that two people had been wounded as a result of a stabbing attack.
One person was killed in a terror attack that occurred at a shopping center in the city of Karmiel in Israel's North on Wednesday, Israeli media reported.
Eyewitnesses said that the terrorist stabbed one of the young men, severely wounding him. His friend, who was armed, had time to disarm the assailant and shoot him, but in the process, he was also stabbed, Walla reported.
The deputy director of the Karmiel municipality security department, who arrived with his team at the scene said, "It's a very difficult scene. People are very upset. We secured the area to allow for the treatment of the wounded and to calm the crowd, and we remain on site to assist in whatever is needed by the security forces."
Earlier on Wednesday, Israel's emergency medical response service, Magen David Adom (MDA), reported that two people had been wounded as a result of a stabbing attack.
MDA noted that one individual in his 20s was unconscious and in critical condition, adding that medics had performed CPR on him.
An additional individual in his 20s sustained serious wounds. Both were transferred to the the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
The attacker was from an Arab village near Karmiel
The Police reported that the terrorist had been killed, and the chief of the Israel Police Northern District noted that one of the wounded individuals shot at the terrorist and thwarted him. A suspect was later arrested for the attack, identified as Javad Rabia, 21 years old from Kfar Nahaf, near Karmiel.
[JPost] Sources said that the commander was responsible for a section of Hezbollah's operations along the border frontier
A senior field commander in the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah was killed in an Israeli strike on Wednesday outside of the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, two security sources told Reuters.
The target was the commander of the Aziz unit on the southern front in Hezbollah, Abu Ali Nasser. He is considered one of the most senior commanders in Hezbollah killed so far in the war.
The sources said that the commander was responsible for a section of Hezbollah's operations along the border frontier, where the group has been exchanging fire with the IDF since October in parallel with the Gaza War.
They said that he was of the same rank and importance to the group as Taleb Abdallah, who was killed in an Israeli strike in June and was the most senior Hezbollah field commander to be killed by the Israeli military in the last eight months of hostilities.
Will HEZBOLLAH FIRE ANOTHER LARGE BARRAGE OF ROCKETS?
Hezbollah fired its largest barrages of drones and rockets in retaliation for Abdallah's killing. There was no immediate comment from the group on the senior commander killed in Wednesday's strike.

The First Amendment was written in the 18th century with the noble and vitally important goal of ensuring robust political debate and a free press. For much of American history, First Amendment cases involving speech typically concerned political dissenters, religious outcasts, intrepid journalists and others whose ability to express their views was threatened by a powerful and sometimes overbearing state. The First Amendment was a tool that helped the underdog.
But sometime in this century the judiciary lost the plot. Judges have transmuted a constitutional provision meant to protect unpopular opinion into an all-purpose tool of legislative nullification that now mostly protects corporate interests. Nearly any law that has to do with the movement of information can be attacked in the name of the First Amendment.
Monday’s Supreme Court decision in the two NetChoice cases greatly adds to the problem. The cases concern two state laws, one in Florida and one in Texas, that limit the ability of social media platforms to remove or moderate content. (Both laws were enacted in response to the perceived censorship of political conservatives.) While the Supreme Court remanded both cases to lower courts for further factual development, the court nonetheless went out of its way to state that the millions of algorithmic decisions made every day by social media platforms are protected by the First Amendment. It did so by blithely assuming that those algorithmic decisions are equivalent to the expressive decisions made by human editors at newspapers.

If I have a handle on this, please help or fill in:
The mass media service runs an algorithm on the submitted content. It counts naughty words, phrases, etc. and score enough points, the content gets flagged and a censor reviews the content.
The previous is a hard analysis data vs. the algorithm; this is the human part.
The censor then conducts an interview with the poster, and can apply a series of procedures to poster - demonetize, watch training videos, which parts need altering, even deplatform. Even after the struggle session the censor could add further penalties, like adding auto-naughty points to additional posted content.
And this is where the ruling kicks in? That that portion is randomly variations in the thinking of the inquisitor can be wildly inconsistent and unforgiving, which can have a direct monetary impact on the client such as advertising revenue, as opposed to a private non-contracted site. What the ruling is saying is that both the algorithm and the censor are both under the scrutiny of federal guidelines, the algorithm is a solid piece of evidence where a human involvement is inconsistent in comparison?
*disclaimer: I've been zapped by such a thing; advertised on advertface, and when shopping insurance was directly declined by content with no explanation without contacting for inquiry based on that information. Nothing illegal, hardly, don't even need special license to peddle, but depending on who the inquisitor was, and off paper guidelines, is controversial. Mr. Wu, Columbia law professor, special assistant tech policy. is arguing that those censors are necessary, especially so since it is off the record. It isn't 'perceived'.
And yes. Thank you badanov and all others underneath the hood; hit the tip.
[TCW via Insty] WILL our world eventually realise the extent of the covid con trick to which we have been subjected over the past four years? While most UK authorities, including the mainstream media, are still maintaining silence on the disaster, the American legal system seems poised to break omerta around the issue.
Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach and another three of the state’s top legal officials have announced a lawsuit against Pfizer alleging misleading claims related to its covid vaccine. ’Pfizer made multiple misleading statements to deceive the public about its vaccine at a time when Americans needed the truth,’ Kobach said. A similar action by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton remains pending, and several other states are becoming involved.
Pfizer says the lawsuits have no merit, and that its representations about the vaccine have been ’accurate and science-based’.
However, according to Dr Carl Heneghan, Professor of Evidence-based Medicine at Oxford University, the charge sheet against Pfizer, with the main points outlined here, is ’devastating’.
Kobach summarised the case under four headings.
1. Pfizer marketed its vaccine as safe for pregnant women. But in February 2021, the company possessed reports for 458 pregnant women who received the gene-based jab during pregnancy. More than half reported an adverse event and more than 10 per cent a miscarriage, many within days of the vaccination. Pfizer also had information from an October 2020 study on pregnancy in rats indicating that its vaccine was probably linked to infertility, loss of litters, and stillborn offspring.
2. Pfizer consistently denied any evidence of a connection or safety signal between its covid vaccine and the heart conditions myocarditis and pericarditis. On January 18 2023 the company’s chairman and CEO Albert Bourla stated: ’We have not seen a single [safety] signal, although we have distributed billions of doses.’ This was despite the US government and military, foreign governments and others having found that the Pfizer vaccine caused both forms of heart damage.
3. Pfizer claimed that its vaccine protected against covid variants, even though data available at the time showed it was effective less than half the time.
4. Pfizer urged Americans to get vaccinated ’to protect their loved ones’, clearly indicating a claim that the jab stopped transmission of the virus, yet it later admitted that it had never studied transmission after vaccination. They're forgetting the turbo-cancer - some of us can't

Any bets that those involved in the Clotshot are given a pardon/legal pass due to the National Emergency & WH Exec Declarations?
As I recall, President Trump stated it directly at the time, that being the trade-off for the manufacturers to develop vaccines in less than the usual 3-20 years. By which they would no longer be needed.
