Britain
UK to pay £1.6 million compensation to Afghans over risky data leak
That’s nice. How many of the Afghans are still living in-country, where the Taliban will see the money coming in? How many are living somewhere safe, where they will not be robbed and worse for suddenly acquiring a large sum? In other words, is Britain about to victimize them a second time to make themselves feel better?
[KhaamaPress] The UK government will pay £1.6 million to 277 Afghans after a 2021 data leak exposed their identities and endangered their lives.

British media have reported that the UK government will pay compensation of up to £4,000 each to 277 Afghan citizens whose personal information was exposed in a 2021 data breach by the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
1,600,000/277=>5776...some handling fees retained
According to the BBC World Service, the breach occurred in September 2021, during the chaotic and rapid evacuation of Western forces from Afghanistan. Personal details of individuals who had cooperated with the UK government were mistakenly revealed, placing them at serious risk.

The emails, sent by the Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP) team, exposed personal data of nearly 300 Afghan nationals. Among the disclosed details were email addresses of 265 individuals, and in some cases, profile photos and geographic locations were also visible.

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) labeled the breach as "serious" and warned that the error could have posed a threat to lives. As a result, the MoD was fined £350,000 in December 2023—an amount reduced from an initial penalty of £1 million following a detailed review.

UK Defence Minister Luke Pollard has issued a formal apology and assured that compensation payments would be processed swiftly. He also pledged reforms in data management procedures and improved staff training within the ministry.

The total compensation payout is expected to reach around £1.6 million, according to estimates by officials. The payments aim to recognize the potential dangers and distress caused by the breach.

Afghanistan
1.4 million Afghans returned last year
[KhaamaPress] Over 1.4 million migrants colonists have returned to Afghanistan in 2024, many forcibly deported. UNHCR urges urgent financial aid to support returnees. Of course they do.

The United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has reported that more than 1.4 million migrants colonists have returned to Afghanistan since the beginning of 2024. The agency expressed urgent concern over the growing humanitarian burden, emphasizing that immediate financial support is needed to assist the returnees, many of whom were forcibly deported.

In a statement posted on Friday, July 4, UNHCR revealed that over one million of these returnees came from Iran, while others were sent back from neighboring countries under strained conditions. The agency noted that many of the returnees were women and kiddies facing significant vulnerabilities, and not all of them returned voluntarily.

"Urgent financial resources are needed to support over 1.4 million people who have returned—or been forced to return—to Afghanistan this year," UNHCR stated via its official account on X. The agency warned that Afghanistan’s fragile infrastructure and limited aid capacity are unable to cope with the rising influx.

According to previous UN reports, an estimated 70 percent of Afghan returnees are forcibly deported without prior notice or adequate preparation time. Upon return, many face unemployment, lack of shelter, and insecurity in regions still recovering from decades of conflict and economic instability.

In light of these developments, UNHCR has reiterated its appeal to Iran, Pakistain, and other host countries to ensure that returns are carried out voluntarily, safely, and in accordance with international human rights

obligations. The agency also called on international donors to scale up assistance for returnees and host communities in Afghanistan.

Recent reports suggest that deportations from Iran

have surged in recent weeks, with up to 30,000 Afghan migrants colonists being returned daily. This has placed extraordinary pressure on border provinces and overwhelmed humanitarian operations trying to provide food, shelter, and basic medical care.

UNHCR, along with several humanitarian agencies, is urging the global community to respond swiftly and generously. Without immediate and coordinated support, Afghanistan risks plunging deeper into crisis, with millions of vulnerable people left without the resources they need to survive and rebuild their lives.

UN Official: Iran accuses hundreds of Afghan migrants of spying

violations.

Richard Bennett, the United Nations
...an organization which on balance has done more bad than good, with the good not done well and the bad done thoroughly...
Special Rapporteur on human rights in Afghanistan, has expressed serious concern over the arrest of hundreds of Afghan migrants colonists in Iran, including members of ethnic and religious minority groups, on allegations of spying for Israel.

In a post on X on Saturday, July 5, Bennett stated that Iranian police have accused Afghan migrants colonists of espionage and reportedly used violence during arrests. He also condemned the use of abusive and degrading language toward Afghan refugees by Iranian authorities.

Experts stated: "The post-war situation should not be used as an opportunity to suppress dissent and increase repression."

They acknowledged the impact of the recent military attacks by Israel and the United States and expressed concern over reports of executions, enforced disappearances, and mass arrests.

UN experts noted that since June 13, at least six individuals, including three Kurdish men, have reportedly been executed on charges of spying for Israel.

Several Afghan returnees have shared similar experiences, claiming that Iranian police repeatedly detained and accused them of being spies. These claims align with broader concerns raised by international human rights organizations.

UN experts have voiced worry that, in the wake of recent Israeli attacks, Iranian law enforcement has been targeting minority communities, particularly Afghan migrants colonists, through arbitrary detentions and possible torture.

According to multiple reports, dozens of Afghan citizens have been detained during recent cross-border tensions, accused of espionage without credible evidence or transparent legal process.

Afghanistan’s prolonged humanitarian crisis, following the Taliban
...the once and current oppressors of Afghanistan...
’s return to power in August 2021, has forced millions of Afghans to seek refuge in neighboring countries, including Iran.

Iran currently hosts over three million Afghan nationals, many of whom live in undocumented, vulnerable conditions, exposed to abuse, detention, and forced deportation.

Police say they nabbed three terror cell members planning imminent attack
[IsraelTimes] Security forces arrested this morning three wanted members of a terrorist cell who had been plotting an imminent attack, police say.

After receiving intelligence about their whereabouts from the Shin Bet, officers in the police’s Yamam counter-terror unit and Shin Bet agents arrested two suspects within Israeli territory in Barta’a, an Arab village bisected by the Green Line.

Later that day, IDF soldiers disguised as civilians raided the home of another member of the cell in the northern West Bank, arresting him.

The three detained suspects are to be questioned by Shin Bet officials.

Five Hebron sheikhs pen letter asking to join Abraham Accords as emirate, dismiss two-state solution — report
[IsraelTimes] A group of five leading sheikhs in the Paleostinian Authority’s Hebron district sent a letter to the government expressing a desire to join the Abraham Accords and to have peace with Israel, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The letter, addressed to Economy Minister Nir Barkat, expresses the sheikhs’ desire to break off from the Paleostinian Authority and establish Hebron as an emirate that "recognize[s] the State of Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people."

Then, "the State of Israel shall recognize the Emirate of Hebron as the Representative of the Arab residents in the Hebron District."
Oh my goodness — the unexpected things that happen in real life!
The letter describes the proposed arrangement as "fair and decent," and says it can replace the Oslo Accords, "which only brought damage, death, economic disaster and destruction."

Barkat tells the WSJ that the old two-state paradigm has failed, and that the Paleostinian Authority is not trusted among its people and in Israel. The minister has hosted Sheikh Wadee’ al-Jaabari — one of the most influential Hebron clan leaders and the spearhead of the initiative — and other sheikhs at his home in Jerusalem for dozens of meetings since February.

"Sheikh Jaabari wants peace with Israel and to join the Abraham Accords, with the support of his fellow sheikhs. Who in Israel is going to say no?" Barkat says.

"There will be no Paleostinian state — not even in 1,000 years," Jaabari tells the newspaper. "After October 7, Israel will not give it."

Another sheikh who joined the initiative concurred: "To think only about making a Paleostinian state will bring us all to disaster."

The WSJ says other sheikhs who agree with the initiative spoke anonymously to ensure their safety.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
The 12-day war and silent transformations of western Asia, Part II: PKK and Iran
The view from Kurdistan, at length. Part I: Iraq and Turkey can be seen here.
[Rudaw] THE ISSUE OF PKK DISARMAMENT
During the recent conflict, discourse emerged in both The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...a NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all....
member, but not the most reliable...

and among individuals affiliated with the PKK regarding the possibility of replicating the Syria—Rojava scenario in Iran. This comparison references the context in which the Assad regime handed over control of Kurdish-populated areas to Kurdish political parties and forces (the Democratic Union Party, PYD, and the People’s Protection Units, YPG). However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
this analogy is fundamentally flawed and arises from a misreading of Iran’s internal situation and the nature of the Kurdish question within its borders.

Assad’s primary motivation for withdrawing from northeast Syria (Rojava) and reaching an accommodation with the PKK was tactical rather than ideological. He sought to place a human shield between his regime and Ottoman Turkish-backed opposition groups. This maneuver enabled him to avoid direct conflict while anticipating that he could eventually reclaim those areas, given that the Kurdish forces lacked geographical depth and the region’s topography was unsuitable for sustaining prolonged military resistance. In essence, Assad’s strategy was to sacrifice Kurdish forces for short-term security gains, and even at the lowest point of his regime’s power, he remained unwilling to formally recognize Kurdish identity.

Replicating this strategy in Iran is not feasible. Any gang that establishes a presence in the Zagros Mountain chain would be extraordinarily difficult to dislodge due to the region’s formidable terrain and strategic depth. Furthermore, these mountainous zones - along with the Alborz Mountains, Iran’s eastern deserts, and its southern maritime borders - form a critical geopolitical triangle. Compromising any of these strategic regions would unravel the country’s military equilibrium and expose Tehran and the Iranian heartland to substantial vulnerability. As such, no rational political regime would willingly accept such a risk.

Nonetheless, the war appears to have yielded a significant strategic gain for Turkey, particularly in the context of the PKK disarmament issue. It is increasingly likely that the PKK’s expectation of garnering enhanced regional support has diminished. It has long been an open secret that PKK disarmament has not aligned with Iran’s strategic interests, primarily due to security considerations. Since 1992, the PKK’s presence along the borders has served, intentionally or otherwise, as a stabilizing force in terms of border security. Simultaneously, Turkey has historically feared that Iran might attempt to impose a Syrian-style situation on its own territory. However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
in the aftermath of the 12-day conflict, Ankara appears to be approaching this matter with increased
confidence and a sense of strategic ease.

In a notable recent development, the president of Turkey authorized the release of a Kurdish prisoner previously incarcerated for PKK membership. This act may signify an initial step toward advancing the broader process of PKK disarmament. The international community now awaits a symbolic gesture from the PKK, which, if forthcoming, could encourage the Ottoman Turkish state to implement additional legal reforms anticipated by the end of the autumn. While this process is likely to face fluctuations and setbacks, recent remarks by Devlet Bahceli - leader of the Nationalist

Movement Party (MHP) - acknowledging the concept of Kurdish—Ottoman Turkish brotherhood represents a rare political recognition of Kurdish identity from a figure associated with Ottoman Turkish nationalism.

Historically, Ottoman Turkish presidents such as Turgut Ozal and His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
have made similar overtures. The current leader of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Turkey’s largest political party, has also echoed this sentiment. Collectively, these developments suggest a gradual shift that may contribute to redefining the Ottoman Turkish nation-state identity. On the other side, the PKK, under the leadership of Abdullah Ocalan, has likewise moved away from territorial demands, signaling a significant transformation in its approach to the Kurdish issue.

IRAN: FROM GEOPOLITICAL CONFRONTATION TO DOMESTIC POLITICAL DISCOURSE
The rise to power of the Islamic Theocratic Republic in Iran represented not merely a domestic political shift but a profound geopolitical transformation. It disrupted a key pillar of the regional order previously led by the United States and its Western allies. That order, anchored by strategic alliances with NATO-member Turkey, Israel, the Gulf states, and the Shah of Iran, began to fracture with the establishment of the Islamic Theocratic Republic. Iran ceased to be a US ally, and between 1980 and the early 1990s, at least five significant gangs emerged, three of which posed direct security challenges to both Turkey and Israel.

Despite these developments, the West and the United States were not overly concerned at the time. On one hand, they retained the capability to manage and contain the threats posed by these groups. On the other hand, Iran’s external relations with adversaries of the West had not yet matured into strategic partnerships that could undermine US interests. However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
this began to change after the 2000s and particularly in the aftermath of the Arab Spring. Iran’s regional influence expanded significantly. While Iranian officials framed this shift as part of an "Islamic Awakening," its adversaries labeled it the "Shia Crescent." In parallel, Iran advanced its military capabilities - especially in the domain of missile and drone technology - and, more critically, began to quietly abandon its long-held foreign policy doctrine of "Neither East nor West."

This strategic reorientation was underscored by Iran’s 25-year cooperation agreement signed with China in 2021 and its 20-year agreement with Russia adopted in 2025. Iran’s provision of drones to Russia, coupled with ongoing discussions about supplying ballistic missiles to Moscow, further signaled Tehran’s deepening alignment with Eastern powers. These developments, combined with the events of October 7, marked a significant turning point from the perspective of the United States and Europe. In their view, Iran had effectively become an "Eastern" power - an alignment that may well have been one of the underlying motivations for the 12-day war.

In the aftermath of the conflict, the discourse among Iranian diplomats has shifted toward efforts aimed at preventing a renewed outbreak of war. However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
skepticism remains high among military officials regarding the sustainability of the fragile ceasefire currently in place. The future trajectory of regional stability will likely hinge on the positions adopted by China and Russia. Should Tehran, buoyed by support from these allies, resume uranium enrichment or distance itself from negotiations and compromise with Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
and the United States, the prospect of renewed conflict could resurface. The wars have a bilateral impact on the nature of states’ policies - they either lead to some kind of opening or make them more closed. In the shadow of discussions about the possibility of war and non-war, there is now a heated debate between the ultra-conservative wing and other groups in power over domestic and foreign policy that seems likely to continue for a while.

Leader of militia in Gaza fighting Hamas admits cooperating with IDF
[IsraelTimes] The head of a militia operating in an area of Gaza under Israeli military control, Yasser Abu Shabab, gives an interview to the Israeli public broadcaster’s Arabic-language radio station Makan, in which he says his fighters are young men of Palestinian origin living in the heart of the Strip, with no affiliation to any political ideology or organization.

“We’ve tasted the bitterness and injustice inflicted on us by Hamas, and we’ve taken it upon ourselves to confront this aggression. We don’t rule out confrontation with Hamas and we don’t rule out civil war, no matter the cost,” he says.

In the interview, Abu Shabab admits for the first time that his forces are cooperating at some level with the IDF.

“We didn’t have any security like we do in zones under Israeli control. We entered these areas and carried out operations beyond expectations. As long as the goal is support and assistance (from the IDF), and nothing more, when we go on a mission, we inform them — nothing beyond that — and we carry out the military operation,” he says.

Man charged with setting fire to Melbourne synagogue as police probe terror motive
That was fast. An enthusiastic volunteer or was he paid by Iran?
[IsraelTimes] Angelo Loras, 34, of Sydney, who describes himself as Iranian, suspected of starting blaze at entrance to East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation building while 20 people were inside

A man suspected of setting fire to an Australian synagogue as worshipers ate dinner inside has been arrested and charged, police said Sunday, as they investigated if the attack was terror related.

Angelo Loras, 34, from the Sydney suburb of Toongabbie, is suspected of setting ablaze the front door of the busy East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation synagogue on Friday night while around 20 people were inside.

Victoria state police charged Loras with a string of offenses, including reckless conduct endangering life. He was not named in connection with two other attacks against the Jewish community that took place around the same time.

"The man allegedly poured a flammable liquid on the front door of the building and set it on fire before fleeing the scene," police said in a statement. "Detectives will continue to examine the intent and ideology of the person charged to determine if the incident is in fact terrorism."

The worshipers escaped unscathed through the back of the synagogue before firefighters doused the blaze.

Loras appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court and was ordered to remain in jug until a July 22 hearing. He did not apply for bail.

Loras describes himself on the social media platform X as “Single, Iranian, forklift driver, music lover.”
He forgot “ineffective but enthusiastic Jew-burner”. Think of how many girls would have called him for that.
The attack was the latest of a rash of incidents to target Jews in Melbourne and Sydney, much of it thought tied to anger over Israel’s actions in the Middle East, with Australian leaders vowing to crack down on perpetrators.

Police said they were yet to find a link between the synagogue attack and two other incidents targeting Jewish residents in Melbourne on Friday night.

In one instance, a group of about 20 anti-Israel protesters swarmed an Israeli-owned restaurant while chanting “Death to the IDF.” The protesters allegedly flipped over tables and smashed a window, according to local media.
No need to allege when there are videos all over the internet.
A police source, speaking anonymously to the Sydney Morning Herald, said that at least one of those involved is known to counter-terrorism police for being involved in violent left-wing protests. Police declined to comment on the information.

Also, cars were set on fire and daubed with antisemitic graffiti in a third incident in another part of the city.

Victoria Police Commander Zorka Dunstan said Saturday that all three incidents have “inferences of antisemitism” or anti-Israel activity.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Saturday condemned the synagogue attack, saying it was a “cowardly” act of antisemitism while Home Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said he had spoken to the Israeli ambassador in Australia.

Australia’s Jewish community, numbering around 120,000, has been among the hardest hit by the global surge in antisemitism since October 7, 2023. The country experienced more than 2,000 anti-Jewish incidents between October 2023 and September 2024, more than quadruple the number from the year before Hamas’s October 7 assault that sparked the Gaza war, according to the Executive Council of Australian Jewry.

1 killed, 5 wounded in 3 Israeli drone strikes in south Lebanon
[AnNahar] One person was killed and five people were maimed in three Israeli dronezaps in Leb

's south on Saturday, the Health Ministry said.

A strike on a car in Bint Jbeil "killed one person and maimed two others," the ministry said in a statement carried by the official National News Agency (NNA), noting the toll was provisional.

A few hours later a similar strike on a car severely maimed two people in the nearby town of Shaqra.

Earlier Saturday, the ministry reported that a separate Israeli dronezap maimed one person in Shebaa, elsewhere in the south, with the NNA saying that raid targeted a house.

Israel has kept up its bombardment of Lebanon since a November 27 ceasefire that sought to end more than a year of hostilities with Hezbollah including two months of all-out war that left the Iran-backed group severely weakened.
The Times of Israel adds:
The IDF announces that earlier today, its forces carried out a targeted strike in the area of Aynata in southern Lebanon, eliminating a terrorist affiliated with Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force.

, including eight people killed near an aid distribution site in the Strip’s south, according to Hamas’s civil defense agency. It was not immediately clear if the aid site in question belonged to the GHF.

Civil defense front man Mahmoud Bassal, who Israel has said is an active Hamas terrorist, said five people were killed in a strike on a school in Gaza City, in the Strip’s north.

Another strike near another school in the city where displaced civilians had found shelter killed three people and maimed around 10, including children, he said.

Many Gazooks have sought shelter in schools and other public buildings since the war began, sparked by the Hamas-led terror onslaught on southern Israel in which some 1,200 people were killed and 251 taken hostage.

Contacted by AFP, the IDF said it could not comment on specific strikes without precise coordinates.

The military says it is taking steps, including the use of aerial intelligence and precision munitions to mitigate harm to civilians, and accuses Hamas of embedding itself in civilian infrastructure, including schools.

monitor stated on Saturday. A large number of arrests were in Kurdish-majority provinces.

"Widespread arrests continue across Iran despite the ceasefire declared ten days ago between the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran and Israel. Since the onset of the war, at least 900 individuals have been detained. Hengaw has so far confirmed the identities of 155 of those arrested," stated the Oslo-based Hengaw Human Rights Organization.

Most of those arrested are facing charges of "espionage for Israel," "propaganda against the state," or "disturbing public opinion," it said.

Kurdish-majority provinces in the west of the country saw some of the highest numbers of arrests - 127 in Kermanshah, 91 in West Azerbaijan, and 18 in Kurdistan.

Those arrested include women, minors, and eight Europeans and two Afghans.

The arrests have continued after a ceasefire came into effect on June 24. The Gay Paree-based Kurdistan Human Rights Network, which has confirmed the arrests of 250 individuals, warned on Tuesday that "security forces in Iranian Kurdistan continue to impose a harsh crackdown on Kurdish civilians and activists."

The Center for Human Rights in Iran said nearly 1,500 people have been arrested and are being put through "sham trials."

Iran’s judiciary has approved a fast-tracked bill imposing 15 to 25 years in prison and permanent bans from public service for sending images or videos to foreign media during wartime or security-related events, according to Hengaw.

The head of Iran’s judiciary on June 21 said that suspects accused of collaborating with Israel will face expedited trials and be given no leniency. At least six people have been executed, according to Amnesty International.

Iran has released several confessions of people accused of cooperating with Israel. Such confessions are widely believed to be coerced, often obtained through threats, psychological pressure, and, in some cases, physical torture.

Iraq
Baghdad says ‘unacceptable’ for KRG to blame drone attacks on PMF
[Rudaw] The Iraqi government on Saturday said it was "unacceptable" for Erbil to accuse the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF, or Hashd al-Shaabi) of being complicit in a string of drone attacks in the Kurdistan Region.

"The accusation issued by the Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan Regional Government [KRG] against an official Iraqi security institution is unacceptable, condemned, and impermissible under any pretext, especially since it was issued in the absence of evidence," the prime minister’s spokesperson Sabah al-Numan said in a statement.

On Friday, the KRG’s Interior Ministry blamed the PMF for recent drone attacks that it said were carried out "with the intention of creating chaos." It called on Baghdad to bring the perpetrators to account.

Baghdad said that such accusations risk undermining the country’s stability and instead urged "cooperation and coordination through official channels."

The Grand Turk
Turkey detains three opposition mayors
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish authorities on Saturday detained three mayors as part of an investigation into corruption, state media reported. All three are members of the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP).

The mayors of the southern cities of Antalya and Adana, as well as the southeastern Kurdish city of Adiyaman (Semsur) were arrested on charges of fixing tenders through bribing mayors and senior municipal executives, according to the state-owned Anadolu Agency.

"This morning, I was detained from my house in Ankara. I am being taken to Istanbul," Adiyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere said on X.

Zeydan Karalar, mayor of Adana, vowed to "continue the struggle" after he was detained.

The arrests are part of a wider investigation into alleged graft within CHP-led administrations, according to Anadolu.

Ankara mayor and CHP strongman Mansur Yavas blasted the arrests as a targeted campaign against the party.

"In a system where the law is bent and twisted according to politics, where justice is applied for one segment and ignored for another, no one should expect us to trust the rule of law or believe in justice," he said on X. "We will not bow to injustice, unlawfulness, and political operations."

In The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
’s 2024 municipal elections, Karalar received 46.7 percent of the vote, Tutdere scored 49.7 percent, and Antalya’s Muhittin Bocek took 71.4 percent.

The practice of dismissing elected officials has been ongoing for years. Dozens of mainly Kurdish mayors have been removed from their posts since 2016 and sentenced on terrorism-related charges for alleged ties to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which Ankara has designated a terrorist organization.

More recently, the AKP-led government has cracked down on CHP and other opposition mayors, detaining them largely on cases of alleged corruption.

On Thursday, a raid sparked by an alleged corruption case at the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality - a key CHP bastion - resulted in the arrests of 60 people, including former Izmir mayor Tunc Soyer and the head of CHP’s Izmir branch Senol Aslanoglu.

In March, Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu was sacked from his position on charges of corruption. Considered the main rival of Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First

That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
in the upcoming 2028 elections, his arrest sparked Turkey’s worst unrest in a decade, which in turn led to a massive crackdown on protests.

The dismissed mayors are replaced with state-appointed trustees.

Swedish gang leader arrested in Turkey
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish police have arrested Ismail Abdo, a Swedish gang leader and former associate of the Kurdish Fox wanted internationally for drug trafficking and violent mostly peaceful crimes. Abdo was caught with 19 others in an investigation by Ottoman Turkish and Swedish law enforcement.

"Ottoman Turkish police have in a police operation in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
today arrested a Swedish man who for many years is suspected of having conducted serious drug crimes and instigated serious violent mostly peaceful crimes in Sweden," read a statement from Sweden’s police on Friday.

"The arrest is a result of targeted work over time between Ottoman Turkish and Swedish judiciary. Swedish police have contributed to the investigative work that led to the arrest," Mats Berggren, acting deputy chief at Sweden’s National Operations Department was quoted as saying in the statement.

The investigation targeted three criminal organizations - one led by Abdo - resulting in the arrest of 19 suspects for drug trafficking and money laundering, according to Turkey’s state-owned Anadolu Agency, which named Abdo as one of those arrested. The multi-city operation took place in Istanbul, Adana, Mersin, Mugla and Antalya.

The joint operation also led to the seizure of 1.4 tons of drugs in Sweden.

Ismail Abdo, born in Uppsala, Sweden in 1990 and often referred to by his nickname "Jordgubben" (The Strawberry), has been a central figure in Sweden's escalating gang conflicts. His nickname stems from his family’s business importing strawberries into Sweden.

He is known for leading the internationally-active Rumba criminal network, which has been in a deadly feud with the Foxtrot network, led by his former close ally Rawa Majid, also known as "the Kurdish Fox." The conflict led to Abdo’s mother being killed by Foxtrot in September 2023. Rawa Majid remains a runaway and there have been reports from Sweden’s intelligence agency SAPO that he works with the Iranian government.

Abdo is also linked to the murder of Harris Lars Osterdahl in Bosnia-Herzegovina and international drug trafficking using the encrypted "Anom" communication program.

A Ottoman Turkish citizen, Abdo was arrested last year in Turkey for possession of a firearm. He was released on bail, despite being sought by Sweden. He was also wanted in Norway on suspicion of involvement in murder plots and drug offenses. Earlier this year, Interpol added him to its list of the world's most wanted criminals.

Swedish authorities have long sought Abdo's arrest, pursuing extensive cooperation with Turkey, according to Swedish media SVT. Due to his Ottoman Turkish citizenship, Sweden has also pursued a transferred prosecution, which would allow him to be tried in Turkey instead of Sweden.

Britain
Supporters of Palestine Action, banned under UK terror laws, arrested at London protest
[IsrelTimes] 27 detained for holding cardboard signs in support of anti-Israel group that was designated a terror organization after breaking into and vandalizing UK airbase

Police on Saturday arrested protesters in London for supporting the pro-Paleostinian, anti-Israel activist group Paleostine Action, which was on Friday banned by the UK parliament under anti-terror laws.

"Officers are responding to a protest in support of Paleostine Action in Parliament Square. The group is now proscribed, and expressing support for them is a criminal offense. Arrests are being made," the Metropolitan Police wrote on X.

Campaign group Defend Our Juries said in a blurb that a group of 27 people, including a priest and a number of health professionals, had been arrested for offenses under the Terrorism Act.

They were holding cardboard signs, saying: "I oppose genocide. I support Paleostine Action," added the campaign group. Israel has denied all accusations of genocide.

Police warned on Friday that expressing support for Paleostine Action would be a criminal offense after the ban kicked in at midnight.

"This includes chanting, wearing clothing, or displaying articles such as flags, signs, or logos," said the force.

A spokesperson for Defend Our Juries said: "We commend the Counter Terrorism police for their decisive action in protecting the people of London from some cardboard signs opposing the genocide in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. and expressing support for those taking action to prevent it."

The terror designation cleared parliament on Thursday, with a court challenge by Huda Ammori, who helped found Paleostine Action in 2020, to try to stop it from becoming law, failing on Friday.

Judge Martin Chamberlain ruled against Ammori’s bid to pause the ban, meaning the proscription of Paleostine Action came into force Saturday.

Husain asked for a temporary pause until Monday pending an appeal, but Chamberlain refused, saying: "You are going to have to trouble the Court of Appeal tonight."

Ammori said in a statement: "We are seeking an urgent appeal to try to prevent a dystopian nightmare of the government’s making."

The government announced last week it would ban Paleostine Action under the Terrorism Act 2000, days after activists from the group broke into a Royal Air Force base and damaged two planes in protest against what the group says is Britannia’s support for Israel.

Two aircraft at the base were sprayed with red paint, causing an estimated £7 million ($9.55 million) in damage.

Four Paleostine Action activists were remanded in jug on Thursday after appearing in court over the incident.

Paleostine Action has condemned the terror designation as an attack on free speech.

Proscription would make it a crime to be a member of or to support the group, with a maximum sentence of 14 years in prison.

Security forces nab 3 terror cell members they say were planning imminent attack
[IsraelTimes] 2 suspects arrested inside Israel, one detained in northern West Bank; operation carried out by elite police counterterror unit, Shin Bet agents and IDF soldiers

Security forces on Saturday morning arrested three wanted members of a terror cell who had been plotting an imminent attack, according to a joint statement released Saturday afternoon by Israel Police, the Shin Bet and the IDF.

The forces received the initial intelligence about the suspects’ whereabouts from the Shin Bet, the statement said, which led to a major joint operation carried out on Saturday morning.

According to the statement, officers in the police’s Yamam counter-terror unit and Shin Bet agents arrested two suspects within Israeli territory in Barta’a, an Arab village bisected by the Green Line.

Later that day, IDF soldiers disguised as civilians raided the home of another member of the cell in the northern West Bank, arresting him, the statement said.

The three detained suspects are to be questioned by Shin Bet officials, according to the statement.

Last week, the Shin Bet said they arrested over 60 Hamas

operatives over the past few months as part of one of the largest crackdowns on a West Bank terror network in recent years.

A senior Shin Bet official called the operation the "largest and most complex investigation by the Shin Bet in the Judea and Samaria area in the past decade," the Biblical term for the West Bank.

Indictments were filed against those suspects, accusing them of severe crimes, including heading a terror organization, and the equivalent of attempted murder and attempted conspiracy to commit murder.

Strip that triggered the ongoing war in the enclave, troops have arrested some 6,000 Paleostinians across the West Bank, including more than 2,350 affiliated with Hamas.

According to the Paleostinian Authority health ministry, more than 950 West Bank Paleostinians have been killed in that time. The IDF says the vast majority of them were button men killed in exchanges of fire, rioters who clashed with troops or snuffies carrying out attacks.

During the same period, 51 people, including Israeli security personnel, have been killed in terror attacks in Israel and the West Bank. Another eight members of the security forces were killed in festivities with terror operatives in the West Bank.

NORAD intercepts plane in Trump's Bedminster no-fly zone: 'No excuses'
[FoxNews] Officials warn pilots about entering restricted New Jersey airspace during Trump's stay

A fighter jet scrambled by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) intercepted a civilian aircraft Saturday afternoon after it entered restricted airspace over Bedminster, New Jersey, where President Donald Trump is spending the holiday weekend.

The pilot flew into a temporary flight restriction (TFR) zone just before 2:40 p.m. ET, according to a NORAD statement.

The aircraft was safely escorted out of the area after a standard "headbutt" maneuver was used to get the pilot’s attention.

This was the fourth restricted airspace violation of the day and not the last.

NORAD says another incursion happened later, making for five unauthorized entries in a single day over presidential airspace.

NORAD responded swiftly, using its layered defense system of radar, satellites and fighter aircraft designed to protect U.S. and Canadian skies. The airspace over Bedminster is locked down any time Trump is in town.

Officials are warning private pilots to do their homework before takeoff.

"If you’re flying anywhere near Bedminster, NJ, you’d better check NOTAMs 1353, 1358, 2246, and 2247," 1st Air Force (America’s AOC) posted on X. "No excuses! Stay sharp, stay legal, and stay out of restricted airspace."

Trump Orders Installation of 17 Miles of Texas Border Buoys in Rio Grande
[Breitbart] In addition to the border infrastructure funded by President Trump’s One Big Beautify Bill, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced plans to quickly install 17 miles of floating border barrier in the Texas Rio Grande Valley. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem signed a waiver on Thursday to ensure the construction of the barrier is not impeded by environmental regulations.

According to DHS, the waterborne barrier will be constructed in the Rio Grande in Cameron County, Texas within the U.S. Border Patrol’s Rio Grande Valley Sector. Bids for the RGV Waterborne Barrier Project have been solicited and the project is planned for funding award before the end of Fiscal Year 2025 in September.

Funding for the project will come from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Fiscal Year 2021 appropriations. Secretary Noem signed five other regulatory waivers since President Trump’s inauguration that allow infrastructure projects, including border wall projects to proceed swiftly and avoid lengthy environmental surveys.

The San Antonio Express-News called the order from Secretary Kristi Noem the continued “militarization of the southern border.”

The water-borne buoy barrier is not a new concept along the Texas/Mexico border. As reported by Breitbart Texas, in July 2023, Texas Governor Abbott began installation of the buoy barriers in Eagle Pass, Texas. At the time, the small border city was the epicenter of the Biden border crisis and remained one of the busiest areas for illegal border crossings for more than a year.

Abbott’s project was opposed by a small group of open border activists who staged a protest along the Rio Grande in the small border city. As reported by Breitbart Texas, about two dozen protesters chanted and unfurled signs critical of Abbott’s border buoy project on the day materials for the barrier project.

In addition to the small outcry of a few protesters, the Texas buoy project was met with legal action filed by the Biden administration. At one point in the legal wrangling between Abbott and then President Biden, a federal appeals court ordered the barrier removed from the Rio Grande.

The court ruling was quickly overturned when the full court issued a stay in a 10-7 vote that allowed the floating border barrier to remain delivering a victory for the Texas governor.

The border buoy project announced by DHS will be the first water-borne barrier project undertaken by the Trump administration. According to DHS, the project will eliminate a capability gap that has been identified in the waterways along the Southwest border where drug smuggling, human trafficking and other dangerous and illegal activity occurs.

The department asserts the project will create a safer border environment for patrolling agents as well as serving to deter illegal border crossings within the dangerous waterways.

Quick-Acting Young Brothers Save Toddlers Who Wandered onto Roof in Detroit
[Breitbart] Detroit public safety officials are praising four brothers as heroes for rescuing two toddlers who wandered onto the roof of a home in their neighborhood.

In a story first reported exclusively by WDIV Channel 4, Isaiah said Elijah Christopher told the NBC affiliate they were walking to the hardware store when they noticed two small children on a rooftop.

“We seen some little kids on a roof,” Isaiah told the station. “We ran over to check where they was at.”

The two boys then ran towards a woman who was a neighbor, who told them to stand by while she went to grab a ladder. But after the woman returned with the ladder, the boys’ two older brothers Calvin and Jabari Jackson showed up and took over the rescue effort.

Calvin held the ladder while Jabari scaled it and and reached the roof, though he said he has a fear of heights.

“I was really scared at first, but I just balled it (my fears) and threw it out the window so I can get this kid safe,” he told WDIV.

The children on the roof, ages one and two, apparently had climbed out of a second story window. Jabari was able to put the children back inside through the same window.

Afterwards, the boys knocked on the door of the home, but no one answered.

Calvin said he and his brothers saw a man peek out of the window twice during the amazing rescue of the toddlers, but they were confused as to why the man didn’t answer the door.

WDIV reported that Detroit police are calling the boys heroes. There’s been no word yet whether child welfare officials are investigating the incident.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Austin, Texas: Over Three Dozen Bodies Found in Lake Since 2022, Prompting Fears of Serial Killer
[Breitbart] Suicides, simple accidents, a deadly combination of alcohol and deep water — or a clever serial killer on the loose in the Texas state capitol?
What about a gangster hitman burial ground? Professionals need to get rid of bodies, too.
That’s the question haunting Austin, Texas locals after the dead body count in a reservoir named Lady Bird Lake climbed to 38 recovered corpses since 2022 when another man’s body was pulled from its waters last month.

The Austin Police Department (APD) told Fox News Digital that detectives don’t suspect foul play, and the department is working to determine whether the body recovered is a 17-year-old kayaker reported missing.

But the discovery of yet another dead body has reignited fears that a serial killer is hunting male victims in Austin and disposing their bodies in or around the lake. The reservoir was first created in the 1960s as a cooling pond for a power plant but is now used primarily for recreation and flood control.

Local authorities downplay the possibility of foul play.

However, Dr. Carole Lieberman, a forensic psychiatrist and expert trial witness, told Fox News Digital that the theory can’t be so easily dismissed.

“The denials by law enforcement and other authorities that these cases are murders or the work of a serial killer are premature,” she said. “They don’t want the public to panic about a possible serial killer, so they are making light of all the deaths.”

According to data obtained by Fox 7, of the nearly three dozen bodies found, 30 have reportedly been men, with approximately 60 percent between 30 and 49 years old. Fox 7 reported:

“In the past three years, the causes of death have been mainly attributed to accidental drownings. Second is suicide, as well as drug overdoses, and natural causes. Only one case has been ruled a murder; about half a dozen of these cases remain unknown.”

Lieberman said such statistics often don’t tell the whole story:

One cannot rule out that a so-called ‘accidental’ drowning isn’t the result of a murderer unless there were witnesses. Murderers can use drowning as their [modus operandi]. Similarly, suicides must be proven, not just assumed if someone has been depressed.

The psychiatrist added that date rape drugs can render even a man easy prey for a thief or a killer, citing water as an attractive way to dispose of a body:

Water can cause decomposition of the body and can wash away evidence, from fingerprints to DNA. If the water has movement, such as a river or stream, it can propel the body far from the actual scene of the crime, making it more complicated to find the killer. Some killers choose water-based crime scenes with the hopes that their murder will be misconstrued as drowning, which can make it harder, because it can be difficult to differentiate drowning from murder.

In a 2023 statement, Fox Digital reported, APD tried to dispense of public fears that a serial killer was targeting men in the area. The department cited alcohol mixed with a large body of water as the culprit, with the majority of deaths occurring after the surrounding park’s closing time.

“One common theme of the drownings in Austin is the combination of alcohol and easy access to Lady Bird Lake, which has numerous access points,” the department stated in 2023.

APD told Fox Digital this week:

APD has not found any evidence to support that these deaths are suspicious or connected to criminal activity. All of these incidents have been thoroughly investigated, and the vast majority have been determined to involve factors such as mental health issues, natural causes like heart attacks, inability to swim, substance use or underlying medical conditions.

The reservoir has become a major recreational area for the city, bordered by hiking and bike trails and businesses offering non-motorized water craft like canoes and kayaks. While city officials want to avoid sparking unnecessary panic, there are also strong financial interests in maintaining a reputation for public safety at the popular Austin attraction.

The lake was named after the popular wife of former President Lyndon B. Johnson, who went by the nickname “Lady Bird.”

Report: Federal Officials Arrest More than 200 Criminals in Joint Operation
[Breitbart] Federal officials arrested more than 200 criminals as part of a joint operation in New Jersey called “Operation Apex Hammer,” according to a New York Post report.

The operation, which involved federal, state, and local law enforcement officials, saw 264 wanted criminals, such as illegal aliens “wanted for sex crimes” and criminals wanted for murder or sexual offenses, arrested, according to the outlet. Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba and United States Marshal Juan Mattos Jr. led the operation.

Per the outlet, out of the criminals arrested, there were “17 homicide suspects, 95 gang members,” and others who were “wanted for serious violent and sexual offenses.”

The New York Post reported that law enforcement officials revealed that one Guatemalan illegal alien facing “multiple counts of sexual assault” had been arrested at the beginning of June, while a Honduran illegal alien, “wanted in Baltimore County, Md., for burglary and attempted sexual assault” had also been arrested:

Illegal Guatemalan immigrant Lorenzo Benitez, 54, was arrested on June 4 in Plainfield, NJ, and faces multiple counts of sexual assault in Keansburg, NJ, law enforcement officials said.

Darlin Franco-Guzman, 25, an illegal immigrant from Honduras, was wanted in Baltimore County, Md., for burglary and attempted sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl, and was arrested on June 10 in Trenton, the officials said.

Operation Apex Hammer was described as being a “one-month statewide violent crime reduction initiative with federal, state, and local partners” working together to “identify and apprehend” MS-13 and Tren de Aragua gang members, Fox News reported in June.

This is part of Operation Apex Hammer, a one-month statewide violent crime reduction initiative with federal, state, and local partners. The teams working to identify and apprehend gang-affiliated people and other violent offenders with active felony warrants, including MS-13, Tren de Aragua, the Sex Money Murder-Bloods, Rolling 60’s Crips, and more.

“We are doing multiple cases at once to make sure that we clean up as quickly as possible,” Habba said at the time. “Violent crime is number one.”

-War on Police-
DOPro-Hamas Radical Attacks NYPD Officers in Brazen Broadway Assault
Someone dial 1-866-347-2423.
HELLO ICE Investigations, I 'd like to report......
[LawEnforcementToday] A criminal anti-Israeli anti-Semite who was caught ripping down Israeli child hostage posters in the city after the brutal Hamas attack on Israel in 2023, was back to her old tricks this week when she randomly discharged pepper spray at two NYPD officers in Times Square.

She then attempted to disarm one of them, according to NYPD sources, speaking to The New York Post.

Dana Baraket walked up to the two officers as they walked along Broadway and 47th Street shortly after 1:15 and, without provocation, sprayed them in the eyes and face, sources said.

Baraket, 19, then tried to grab the duty sidearm from one of the officers while repeatedly yelling, “kill me!”

Baraket was unsuccessful in disarming the officer and was subsequently arrested at the scene, police said.

The unhinged Baraket was charged with robbery, assaulting a police officer, criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of or selling of a noxious material, and harassment, NYPD said.

The officers, rookies to the NYPD and assigned to the NYPD’s Times Square Unit, were transported to a local hospital where they were listed in stable condition.

An NYPD source told The Post that the officers “did an excellent job under extreme pressure and stress,” noting “they were intentionally ambushed by the attacker.”

“Within seconds of being attacked, they quickly de-escalated the situation without anyone being seriously injured, and placed the attacker in handcuffs.”

As mentioned, this isn’t Baraket’s first brush with the law. In October 2023, just weeks after Hamas launched an unprovoked and deadly attack on Israel, killing over 1,200 people and taking hundreds hostage, including American citizens, she was filmed tearing down the Israeli child hostage posters from a storefront window. She was accompanied by her sister Aya while yelling “Fuck Israel!” on the Upper West Side.

The two anti-Semites were confronted by a woman named Marilyn Adler and her two daughters after the pair turned on them, leading her to believe that they would harm her daughters.

The video, widely shared online by the non-profit Stop Antisemitism, showed Adler’s daughter Melissa begging the two women to stop, telling them the children in the pictures were “innocent civilians.”

In response, one of the two yelled, “Fuck you! Fuck Israel!”

Hasan Baraket, the father of the two, told The Post that he spoke to his daughters after seeing coverage of the confrontation on the front page of The Post.

Hasan hails from Lebanon and lives in New York. He said he disapproved of their inflammatory language but claimed they are not anti-Semitic and said their actions were taken out of context.

The Baraket sisters said they were “provoked” by Adler, whom they accused of snatching a photo of a Palestinian baby from their hands, Hasan Baraket said.

The NYC would conduct a $$$,$$$$ costing review.
The LEO would be suspended, a review board would fine the LEO 3 months pay.
The Mayor would offer compensation to the Terrorists.
The NYT's would run a full front page article on them.
The View, CNN and MSNBC would have a bidding war for 1st TV appearance.

Southern GA. the radical bunnies would get a ride over to a swamp area which borders the Savannah River and a flashlight would be shined around to show all the eyes looking back at them from the swamp.

Carnage breaks out at Portland ICE detention center as woke crowd tries to storm holding cells
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Chaos erupted at an ICE detention facility in Portland, Oregon after hundreds of protesters attempted to storm holding cells.

Demonstrators were seen being tackled to the ground as officers deployed smoke bombs and tear gas to try and control the crowd yesterday.

Dramatic footage posted on X by independent journalist Katie Daviscourt shows flares lighting up the night sky, as protesters clash with officers in riot gear who appeared to fire rubber bullets into the crowd.

The demonstration occurred on the 28th day that protesters have been occupying the ICE facility in protest over Donald Trump's immigration policies.

Daviscourt confirmed the protest was declared an unlawful assembly and that several arrests were made. Daily Mail has contacted Portland Police Department for details.

The mayhem Friday broke out just hours after the President signed his so-called 'big, beautiful bill' into law - a sweeping $150 billion package that boosts funding for the border wall, ICE enforcement and deportations, while slashing Medicaid.

In downtown Portland, protesters staged a dramatic ‘die-in’ at Pioneer Courthouse Square, two miles from the ICE facility, to protest the brutal Medicaid cuts tucked inside Trump’s bill.
Those brutal cuts reportedly cut off illegal aliens and able-bodied men who refuse to go to work.
'They don't need more money and they're taking money away from things that we really actually need,' protester Mary Vanzant told local CBS affiliate KOIN 6 News.

Deadly Texas flood exposes 'neglected' weather alert system Trump aims to modernize
[FoxNews] After a Texas flood killed at least 32 people Friday, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem addressed criticism about notification prior to the flood, saying the administration is working on updating the National Weather Service and NOAA's "neglected" and "ancient" systems.

Citing her time in Congress and as governor of South Dakota, Noem said that while the weather is difficult to predict, there have been instances when officials and citizens expressed the need for quicker warning and clearer notification before deadly weather.

"That is one of the reasons that, when President [Donald] Trump took office, he said he wanted to fix and is currently upgrading the technology," Noem said during a news conference with state officials Saturday afternoon.

"The National Weather Service has indicated that with that and the [National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration] (NOAA), we needed to renew this ancient system that has been left in place with the federal government for many, many years."

Security forces report hundreds of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers missing near Sumy
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Hundreds of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have disappeared from the 158th Mechanized Brigade in Sumy Oblast. This was reported by Russian security agencies, citing relatives of the soldiers.

“Relatives and friends of servicemen of the 158th Mechanized Brigade report hundreds of missing persons in the Sumy region and rude treatment from the brigade command,” TASS quoted a representative of the security forces as saying.

The agency's source also said that the 531st battalion of the 21st Army Territorial Defense Corps, which was transferred to the Sumy direction, consists mainly of mobilized Ukrainians of pre-retirement age.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on July 3, security forces reported that almost all of the fighters from the second assault company of the 425th separate assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had gone missing in action in the Sumy region.

Also missing are the majority of former prisoners mobilized into the Shkval battalion of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian army. According to social media, they disappeared near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region in the 20th of June. Most likely, this is the result of numerous unsuccessful attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to conduct counterattacks.

According to the Ministry of Defense, in the first half of the year, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces exceeded 265 thousand people killed and wounded. In June alone, the Kiev regime lost almost 45 thousand servicemen.

In Ukraine, volunteers from air defense groups may be sent to the front

In Ukraine, citizens who are part of volunteer air defense groups may be mobilized. They are not provided with a reservation. This was reported by the deputy head of the Ukrainian State Aviation Service, Serhiy Yakubenko.

Commenting on his words, Russian war correspondent Alexander Kots noted that now Ukrainian residents who voluntarily defended Ukrainian skies will be forcibly sent to the front.

"Obviously, mobile fire teams on pickups with machine guns can no longer cope with the Geranium raids. Our drones approach the target at an altitude where they are out of range of the rifles," the military correspondent wrote on his Telegram channel.

Deepstate: Russia occupied two villages in Donetsk region
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] The settlements are located near Dachny, where the occupiers are actively trying to break through.

Russia has "a compelling media reason to fire up the propaganda machine" over its offensive in Dnipropetrovsk, analysts say.

Russian occupiers have occupied the villages of Zeleny Kut and Novoukrainka near the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions and are trying to advance further, Deepstate reports.

The settlements are located near Dachny, where the occupiers are actively trying to break through.

"Additional resources have been brought in to prevent advances into the Dnepropetrovsk region and the occupation of the village of SOU, but due to quantitative superiority and continuous assaults by small groups of infantry, the enemy is breaking through the defensive lines of Ukrainian fighters, which has long been nothing new in many areas of the front," the statement said.

Russia has a "big media reason to launch the propaganda machine" by entering Dnipropetrovsk region, analysts note. But for Ukraine it is also an "important and principled position" not to allow Russians beyond the administrative border.

"The situation is complicated, and the situation on the combat line, the existing problems and the "endless" number of Russians complicate this situation even more. In this direction, we will see many more similar discussions, because the Katsaps are making rapid advances in the area of Yalta, which is also on the administrative border, Zvezda, Poddubny, Tolstoy, Shevchenko, Voskresenka and other settlements," the Deepstate report says.

Earlier, analysts said that in June, the Russian army occupied 556 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory. The largest advances were in the Novopavlovsky and Pokrovsky areas - 29% and 27%, respectively.

China-Japan-Koreas
China 'is preparing to launch industrial-scale forced organ harvesting', as Beijing reveals plans to triple number of transplant facilities in province home to Uyghur Muslims
Totalitarian governments do things like that. It’s a profit center at a time when thr government desperately needs improved cash flow in the face of Trumpian tariffs and other painful measures.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] China is preparing to dramatically scale up forced organ donations from Uyghur Muslims and other persecuted minorities, rights groups have claimed.

A statement published in December 2024 by China's National Health Commission announced plans to triple the number of medical facilities capable of performing organ transplants in the Xinjiang region, home to the vast majority of Uyghurs in the country.

Six new transplant institutions are due to be built by the end of the decade, bringing the region's total to nine, according to the Plan for the Establishment of Human Organ Transplant Hospitals in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (2024–2030), issued by Chinese authorities.

The expanded facilities will reportedly be authorised to perform transplants of all major organs, including hearts, lungs, livers, kidneys and pancreas.

But official figures show Xinjiang's voluntary organ donation rate stands at just 0.69 donors per million people – less than one-sixth of the national average of 4.6.

The move has prompted warnings from rights campaigners and international human rights experts who say the planned expansion aims to fuel industrial-scale organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience.

'This massive expansion in Xinjiang, a region already under scrutiny for systematic repression, raises deeply troubling questions about where the organs will come from,' said Professor Wendy Rogers, Chair of the Advisory Board at the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC).

'There is simply no justification for such growth in transplant capacity given the region's official organ donation rate, which is far below the national average.'

Beijing has repeatedly denied accusations by human rights researchers and scholars that it forcibly takes organs from prisoners of conscience.

The planned expansion outlined by the National Health Commission includes facilities across northern, southern and eastern Xinjiang, including in the capital Urumqi.

Of the nine total hospitals set to be operational by 2030, seven will perform heart transplants, five will offer lung transplants, four will carry out liver operations, and five will conduct kidney and pancreas procedures.

Critics say this network will far outpace the needs of the region's population, suggesting that the only reasonable explanation is that authorities are planning to forcibly harvest organs from detainees.

It is estimated that between 60,000 and 100,000 transplants are conducted in China each year - vastly more than the country's official donation system can support.

Since 2006, practitioners of the Buddhist practice of Falun Gong have been the primary victim group of forced organ harvesting, with the Uyghur population now thought to be at risk.

MailOnline previously covered the nightmarish story of Cheng Pei Ming, a rural villager and Falun Gong practitioner from China's Shandong Province, who endured unimaginable suffering from forced organ transplants before eventually escaping and making his way to the United States.

Although China claimed in 2015 to have ceased using organs from executed prisoners, no legal reforms accompanied the announcement, and harvesting organs from prisoners of conscience was never explicitly outlawed.

Meanwhile, Uyghur Muslims held in Chinese detention camps have reported undergoing blood tests, ultrasounds and other organ-focused medical scans, procedures consistent with assessing organ compatibility.

'The concept of informed, voluntary consent is meaningless in Xinjiang's carceral environment,' said David Matas, a veteran human rights lawyer and Nobel Peace Prize nominee who has investigated forced organ harvesting in China for nearly two decades.

'Given the systemic repression, any claim that donations are voluntary should be treated with the utmost scepticism.

'The lack of legal safeguards, the history of abuse, and the ongoing repression in Xinjiang all point to the urgent need for independent scrutiny of this transplant expansion,' added Dr Maya Mitalipova, a geneticist who has testified before the US Congress about reverse organ matching techniques and biometric surveillance in China.

'This could be industrial-scale organ harvesting under a state-controlled system.'

The United Nations and several democratic governments have repeatedly voiced concern over credible reports of forced organ harvesting and systemic repression of Uyghurs, Falun Gong practitioners, and other minority groups in China.

In June 2021, 12 UN special rapporteurs and human rights experts raised the alarm over allegations that minorities in Chinese detention were subjected to blood tests and organ scans without consent.

Their findings suggested that results were entered into a national database used to allocate organs.

Government Corruption
Waste Of The Day: COVID Loans For 11-Year-Olds (And 115s)
[ZeroHedge] Topline: A weekly allowance or a lemonade stand are great ways to teach young kids how to manage their money. A loan from the Small Business Administration is not.

Yet according to the Department of Government Efficiency, the SBA issued 5,593 loans in 2020 and 2021 worth $312 million to businesses whose listed owners were 11 years old or younger. Either America’s children have suddenly become expert entrepreneurs or, more likely, another round of fraud from the Covid-19 pandemic has been uncovered.

DOGE also claimed that the SBA gave 3,095 loans worth $333 million to borrowers who were listed as 115 years or older, bringing the total age-related fraud to $645 million.

Key facts: An SBA spokesperson confirmed to the fact-checking site Snopes that "According to our preliminary analysis, SBA can confirm that over 5,500 loans, totaling about $312M, were distributed to businesses whose only listed owner was 11 years old or younger at the time of the disbursement."

The White House did not offer additional context to Snopes or FOX News, and it’s unclear how the loans were actually used. Isabel Casillas Guzman, the SBA administrator at the time when the loans were paid, also did not return Snopes’ request for comment.

Snopes noted that it’s possible the loans were paid to adult borrowers, but the recipients appear as children in the government database because of poor recordkeeping.

Either way, the mistake is serious. The Pandemic Response Accountability Committee recently claimed that at least $79 billion of fraud during the pandemic was “readily preventable,” but government officials were not verifying Social Security numbers before paying out loans.

Search all federal, state and local salaries and vendor spending with the world’s largest government spending database at OpenTheBooks.com.

Background: Though DOGE provided taxpayers with a great service by announcing the potential fraud publicly, full transparency would require the government to release records showing the loans so DOGE’s claims can be independently verified.

That’s a common theme with DOGE’s efforts to fight government waste. After DOGE announced it had cancelled 7 million active Social Security numbers for people 120 years or older, OpenTheBooks filed a Freedom of Information Act request for a list of Social Security disbursements by age group. The Social Security Administration claimed that no records exist.

OpenTheBooks also analyzed every program cancelled by DOGE as of May 27 and found that the average person can only verify the dollar figures for 42% of the contracts and 27% of the grants. That doesn’t necessarily mean DOGE’s dollar figures are mistaken, but it means that public sites like USAspending.gov that record government spending data are insufficient for full transparency because they do not update in real time.

Summary: Whether or not 11-year-olds actually received loans from the SBA, it’s clear that government recordkeeping and fraud prevention measures need a serious overhaul.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Hidden consequences— revealed in today’s newspapers
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin:

[ColonelCassad] Israel hid information about Iran hitting five military facilities, including a major airbase, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Israel is not required to inform her curious enemies of material information
In total, Iran struck more than 40 Israeli infrastructure facilities during the 12-day conflict.

As stated earlier, the full consequences of Iran's strikes on Israel and Israel's strikes on Iran have yet to be revealed, as both sides are hiding the military damage they suffered. Hence the pointlessness of comparing damage based only on published videos of strikes and statements by the parties. Some of the damage simply was not included in the videos or statements.

In fact, if satellite images from the war clearly showed traces of attacks on a number of airbases, they were not included in the videos and were not officially commented on.

PS. Yesterday, Iran received the first Chinese J-10C fighter with long-range PL-15 missiles. A total of 40 aircraft of this type will be purchased from the Chinese.

PS2. The IAEA spy mission officially leaves Iran after the law was adopted. She was not allowed into the facilities.

Published in today’s Times of Israel:
Report: 5 IDF bases were struck by ballistic missiles during Israel-Iran war

Satellite data said to reveal strikes on a number of bases, including an intelligence base and an airbase; number of successful interceptions decreased daily for first 8 days

Iranian ballistic missiles struck five IDF bases during the 12-day war with Israel last month, The Telegraph reported on Saturday for the first time, citing satellite data shared by Oregon State University.

Details of strikes on IDF bases and other sensitive locations are prevented from being published in Israel due to military censorship rules, as authorities argue that they could be used by Iran to better calibrate its missiles.

But according to the British news outlet, targeted bases included the Tel Nof airbase, the Glilot intelligence base, and the Zipporit armor and weapons production base.

The report was based on radar data obtained by The Telegraph from Oregon State University, which tracks bomb damage in war zones via satellites.

According to the report, five IDF bases were struck with a total of six rockets during the war between Israel and Iran, launched by Israel on June 13 to dismantle the Islamic Republic’s nuclear and missile programs.

In addition to the six rockets said to have struck military bases, 36 other missiles impacted inside Israel, having evaded interception by Israeli and S air defenses, killing 28 people, damaging 2,305 homes in 240 buildings, along with two universities and a hospital, and leaving over 13,000 Israelis displaced.

In total, Iran launched over 500 ballistic missiles at Israel throughout the 12-day war, The Islamic Republic also launched around 1,100 drones, of which only one impacted inside Israel.

While the overall interception success rate was high, the report found that an increasing number of missiles managed to slip through defense systems each day during the first eight days of the war.

All in all, The Telegraph said its data analysis indicated that by day seven of the war, around 16 percent of missiles were slipping through Israeli and US air defense systems.

The reason for the drop in interceptions was unclear, The Telegraph said, but it noted that Israel may have been choosing to save its interceptor missiles for when they were most needed.

The Wall Street Journal had reported during the war that Israel was running low on its Arrow interceptor missiles, and that it would need to start picking and choosing what to intercept and what to let through. The IDF denied the report, however, saying that it had prepared ahead of time with enough to handle the threat.

Another reason suggested by The Telegraph for the decline in interceptions was the type of missiles Iran was choosing to fire. It posited that these may have been more sophisticated, and therefore harder to shoot down.

There was at least one confirmed instance, on June 19, of Iran using a cluster bomb warhead to attack Israel, which dropped around 20 smaller munitions at a radius of around 8 kilometers (5 miles). One of the small munitions, with an explosive warhead of around 2.5 kilograms, struck a home in the central town of Azor, causing damage equivalent to that of a small rocket.

The IDF, when asked by the Telegraph about the reported impacts inside military facilities, said that it would not comment on the matter.

“What we can say is that all relevant units maintained functional continuity throughout the operation,” it said.

Britain
The Biggest Exodus of Wealth Is Happening in a Western Nation, And the US Should Take Note | The Gateway Pundit
[Survive The News] The United Kingdom’s suppressive policies have consequences — with some wealthier individuals seeking greener pastures.

On June 24, Forbes reported that the U.K. is facing a massive transfer of wealth out of the country, "the largest single-year exodus of wealth ever recorded."
How many of them were previously French citizens who had fled predatory socialist government policies there for the welcome of London’s “City”?
Projections indicate 16,500 high-net-worth individuals — those whose "liquid investable wealth [is worth] $1 million or more" — are seeking residency in other countries.

Founder of Apex Capital Partners Nuri Katz helps people like this by offering guidance should they wish to relocate.

Katz stated this shift doesn’t signal that the upper class is fleeing in terror so much as it is making a backup plan that can be used when needed.

"These people are not actually leaving the U.K. They are simply getting paperwork in different countries, but aren’t necessarily making the move," Katz clarified.

Kadyrov sends 60,000 fighters to the SVO
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Not particularly good soldiers, but they are fanatics, which makes them dangerous.

That's 12 brigades, if anyone is keeping track.

And that many fewer Moslem fanatics who’ll be around to cause trouble in Russia later.
[KavkazUzel] 60,344 fighters have been sent from Chechnya to participate in the military operation in Ukraine, of which 22,064 are volunteers, while 13,000 fighters are in the combat zone, Ramzan Kadyrov reported.

As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, the Chechen authorities regularly report on sending groups of fighters from the republic to the zone of the military operation in Ukraine. On May 7, at a meeting with the Russian president, Kadyrov reported that 55,500 fighters have been sent from Chechnya since the beginning of the military operation, including 21,600 volunteers. "Right now there are more than 11 thousand of our guys from the Ministry of Defense, the Russian National Guard, the Akhmat special forces and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic at the front," Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel that same day.

As of today, 60,344 fighters have been sent from Chechnya to the combat zone, of which 22,064 are volunteers, Ramzan Kadyrov said on his Telegram channel, reporting on the results of a meeting in the republic's government. According to him, there are more than 13 thousand servicemen from Chechnya in the combat zone.

The data on the total number of security forces sent from Chechnya do not include the military personnel who have left the country, are in barracks, are on leave, or have left the combat zone as part of the rotation. At the same time, since November 2022, Kadyrov has accompanied each report on the dispatch of another group with an appeal to contact the Grozny mayor's office and sign up as a volunteer, and regularly emphasizes that the flow of volunteers is not decreasing and there are no problems with their recruitment. He also regularly reports that there are many residents of other regions of Russia among the volunteers.

On January 14, volunteers who arrived in Chechnya to sign a military contract  complained that they were being kept locked up for weeks in order to be sent to the combat zone instead of local residents who had paid off their service. According to human rights activists, coercion to sign contracts is practiced in Chechnya, and security forces  may create an "exchange fund"  from volunteers who arrived from other regions, who will sign contracts instead of local residents.

Two U.S. Aid Workers Wounded in Grenade Attack in Gaza, Bibi,US blame Hamas
[LI] Hamas and UNRWA protecting their grift
Two American aid workers were wounded when a terrorist threw a grenade at a food distribution center in Gaza. The aid workers belonged to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a newly established U.S.-backed private food distribution organization.

"Two U.S. aid workers with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) were injured in a grenade attack during a food distribution event in Gaza, the organization said on Saturday," the Israel TV channel i24NEWS reported. "The Americans, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, are in stable condition and receiving medical treatment."

Netanyahu, US blame Hamas for grenade attack on Gaza Humanitarian Foundation workers

[IsraelTimes] PM says world must ‘stand up and condemn’ Hamas for ‘terror attack,’ urges UN to end boycott and ‘instead work in partnership’ to feed Gazans; IDF: Civilians were in area at time of attack

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed Hamas on Saturday for a grenade attack that injured two American aid workers employed by the Israel- and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, and condemned the incident as a “terror attack.”

The US also blamed Hamas for the attack, saying it “lays bare the depravity” of the terror organization.

Early Saturday, GHF reported that two American aid workers were wounded when assailants threw two hand grenades at a distribution site in southern Gaza, blaming the attack on “hostile action by Hamas.” The organization said the explosive devices had been packed with ball bearings.

The IDF later confirmed that terror operatives threw grenades at a distribution center in Rafah, accusing “terror groups in Gaza” of continuing to sabotage humanitarian efforts, though without naming Hamas directly.

Civilians were still present in the area at the time of the attack, the Israeli military said, condemning the attack.

Netanyahu said later Saturday, in a statement from his office, that he wished to extend “a speedy recovery to the staff of the American aid foundation who were injured today in the terror attack carried out by Hamas terrorists.”

Netanyahu praised the GHF staff, saying they were “doing important work, and I thank them and [US] President [Donald] Trump for their support.”

He added: “The entire world must stand up and condemn this grave incident, which once again exposes the brutality of Hamas. The United Nations must stop opposing the foundation’s operations and instead work in partnership to ensure it can continue its mission safely for the benefit of Gaza’s residents.”

The GHF said in a statement that “the attack – which preliminary information indicates was carried out by two assailants who threw two grenades at the Americans – occurred at the conclusion of an otherwise successful distribution in which thousands of Gazans safely received food.”

The foundation has previously accused Hamas of killing at least eight of the agency’s Palestinian staffers.

Reacting to the alleged Hamas attack, US State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce said Saturday that, “This act of violence against the people actually bringing relief to Gazans lays bare the depravity of Hamas.”

“GHF has contributed over 62 MILLION MEALS – nothing will stop these courageous aid workers,” she wrote on X. “We are praying for the rapid recovery of the injured Americans.”

Israel has accused Hamas of hijacking aid deliveries by other humanitarian groups. The GHF, which in addition to aid workers employs private US military contractors to protect its distribution sites, says that since starting operations in May it has delivered supplies to Palestinians, while other humanitarian groups had “nearly all of their aid looted.”

The GHF bypasses traditional aid channels, including the United Nations, which says the US-based organization is neither impartial nor neutral, and forces Gazans to walk long distances to reach the aid.

Somalia: Macawisley forces launch coordinated attack on Al-Shabaab near Gumare
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

Somali forces kill over ten Al-Shabaab militants in coordinated operations across central and southern regions

[ShabelleMedia] Somali security forces killed more than ten al-Shabaab
... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
bandidos holy warriors in a series of coordinated operations across central and southern Somalia on Friday morning, the Ministry of Defence said.

According to a ministry spokesperson, the first attack took place at approximately 5:45 am local time when al-Shabaab bandidos holy warriors launched an assault on Gumarre, near Moqokori in the Hiiraan region. The Somali National Army (SNA), supported by local community fighters, responded swiftly and engaged the attackers in a two-hour battle, ultimately repelling the assault and securing the area.

"More than ten bandidos holy warriors were killed during the clash, and Gumarre is now fully under the control of our forces," the spokesperson said in a statement.

Simultaneously, joint operations by the SNA and Macawisley fighters targeted al-Shabaab hideouts in Guulane, Daaru-nicma, and Alkowsar in the Middle Shabelle region. In Guulane, two senior al-Shabaab commanders — Mohammed Adow and Ali Xabad — were neutralised. Both men were accused of orchestrating attacks against civilians and extorting communities under the guise of religious authority, officials said.

In a separate operation in Moora Godan, Raaga Ceelle district, security forces dismantled a facility used by the group to treat maimed fighters and coordinate future attacks.

Further south-west, SNA troops launched offensives in Baani, Lafaale, and Abal, near the town of Xudur in the Bakool region. The operations forced bandidos holy warriors to flee their hideouts as government forces advanced.

The 'unloved' town abandoned by tourists: How once-thriving seaside jewel is now packed with derelict ghost hotels leaving locals 'heartbroken'
[MAIL] While for some it still brings back fond childhood memories of a fun-filled seaside holiday, Blackpool is long past its heyday.

It is now one of the most deprived towns in the UK.

Plagued by drugs, poverty and crime, the seaside resort has been in decline for decades.

It has the highest proportion of alcohol-related deaths in England and was recently named the local authority area where men have the lowest life expectancy.

And while it may come as a shock to those who visited the resort religiously during its booming post-war years, to anyone who takes a stroll down the promenade today, the deprivation is clear as day.

Buildings that once housed shops and cafes lay empty, and the 'forgotten' streets behind the promenade are left in ruins.

But one of the biggest indicators of the 'unloved' town are the plethora of previously bustling hotels that have since shut down and been left crumbling for years.

When MailOnline visited Blackpool, not only were hotels left abandoned and boarded up, but the buildings were seen rotting and disintegrating, becoming a zone for fly-tipping and in some cases, had been targets by gangs for cannabis farms.

Government Corruption
John Brennan was my boss at the CIA. He belongs in prison
[FOX40] Former CIA Director John Brennan was once my boss. Given what we just learned in a shocking new report about his role in the Trump Russia hysteria, he should be in prison.

Here’s why.

The CIA released fresh details yesterday about the creation nearly 10 years ago of the agency’s Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) of Russia’s influence campaign in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. It found that Russian President Vladimir Putin "aspired" to help then-candidate Donald Trump win the election. That assessment — ordered by then-President Barack Obama and executed by Brennan — ignited the Trump-Russia hoax that would haunt Trump’s presidency for four years.

We’re now learning five key details Brennan used to cook the books to ensure maximum damage to Trump.

Puntland says key ISIS leaders killed in Calmiskaad offensive, new phase underway
[Garowe] Puntland

(ISIS) leaders were killed during the latest phase of a military offensive in the Calmiskaad mountains of the Bari region, significantly weakening the group’s presence.

The offensive, known as Operation Hilaac, entered its fourth phase this week after Puntland Counter-Terrorism Forces cleared ISIS fighters from a 420-kilometre stretch of mountainous terrain in northeastern Somalia.

Officials named the bandidos bandidos bully boys killed in Phase 3 of the operation as:

Puntland forces also presented a captured ISIS fighter, identified as Hassan Atar, a Ottoman Turkish national apprehended during recent operations. He is currently in jug and being interrogated.

The oil-rich Puntland state has stepped up counter-terrorism efforts in recent months as ISIS and al-Shabaab compete for influence in the Bari region.

The Sun has thrown out another record-breaking prominence
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The Sun has thrown out its sixth prominence of record-breaking size in a week. This was reported on July 5 by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"The Sun continues to set records for the size of prominences ejected into space. The new video, filmed today in the first half of the day on the right edge of the Sun, is no less amazing than all the previous ones," the laboratory's Telegram channel said.

Scientists have managed to record a new giant plasma structure measuring over a million kilometers. It was ejected toward the north pole of the solar system between 9:00 and 14:00 Moscow time.

About a day before, specialists registered a similar-sized plasma emission near the star's south pole. At the same time, the laboratory emphasized that none of these structures affected the Earth and do not pose a threat to the planet.

Earlier, a large plasma emission occurred in the area of the Sun's south pole. According to experts, a cloud of rare size and density formed as a result of the destabilization of a giant solar prominence. Since it was located on the far side of the Sun, it was impossible to observe it from Earth.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on May 31, scientists recorded the largest solar ejection since the beginning of the year. The power of the flow was only slightly less than that of the flow in May 2024, which caused a category 5 magnetic storm on Earth. At the same time, the plasma cloud traveled to Earth at a speed of more than 1000 km/s. It reached the planet almost a day earlier than scientists predicted.

Macron's Secret Fear: Why He's Asking Russia to Influence Iran
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Leonid Tsukanov

[REGNUM] A few days ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron had telephone conversations. The first substantive conversation since autumn 2022 was initiated by Paris and largely concerned the Iranian issue.

A little later, Le Parisien came out with a sensation: Macron’s sudden outburst was provoked by fears that Iranian missiles would reach Paris.
Bibi has been warning about that for ages, and been repudiated by France for it, among others, precisely as long. What odds, dear Reader, that his Excellency le président will apologize to Bibi or thank Israel for reducing France’s risk of being hit by an Iranian nuclear missile?
However, the French leader had other, less obvious reasons for asking Moscow to influence Tehran.

WITHIN REACH
Macron's main secret fear, which French journalists have emphasized, is retaliatory strikes from the Iranians.

In the early days of Israel's Operation Lion Force, Tehran threatened Tel Aviv's Western allies (including France) that any assistance to the latter in repelling Iranian attacks would be regarded as entering the war. This would give Iran the moral right to strike European targets in the Middle East.

And a little later rumors began to spread that Iran had expanded the boundaries of a possible retaliatory operation, preparing (if the situation deteriorated sharply) to strike directly at Europe. And to use “the newest missiles” for these purposes.

Most likely, they were talking about the Kheibar Shekan series of missiles, first introduced in 2022.

The declared range of their upgraded version (Kheibar Shekan 2), which entered service shortly before the conflict, exceeds 2,000 kilometers, which is enough to reach the territory of France. The Ghadr-110 and Sajil-2 missiles have similar characteristics.

And the heavy Khorramshahr-4 missile is capable of traveling more than 4,000 kilometers, which leaves Tehran with the hypothetical opportunity to strike any part of France, including the capital.

WORKING FOR THE AUDIENCE
However, Le Parisien journalists seriously exaggerated. Tehran did not plan to strike French territory and thereby provoke all NATO countries to enter the conflict at the same time.

However, he was still able to seriously frighten the Elysee Palace by threatening the country with a possible withdrawal from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) – following the example of the DPRK.

Such statements should not be considered empty bravado, especially since Tehran is only a few symbolic steps away from withdrawing from the Treaty. In particular, contacts with the IAEA have already been reduced to a minimum, surveillance cameras at the country's key nuclear facilities have been dismantled, and a draft law on withdrawal has been developed, which the Iranian parliament, if necessary, can pass in a few days.

All of this has created serious concerns in Paris that Tehran could embark on the path to developing nuclear weapons, although Iranian officials have strongly denied these plans.

It is no coincidence that in his conversation with Putin, Macron at least several times emphasized the immutability and inviolability of the NPT. Apparently counting on Moscow using its authority to keep the Iranians from taking ill-considered steps and finally ending the negotiations on the “nuclear deal.”

PRISONER EXCHANGE
The Elysee Palace also has other pressing issues related to Tehran on its agenda. In particular, the need to repatriate two French citizens, Cecile Coler and Jacques Paris, who were accused of organizing unrest in Iran in 2022 and are still being held in the “political” prison of Evin.

Efforts by the Elysee Palace to pressure reformist Iranian officials – including President Masoud Pezeshkian – to release their fellow citizens have been unsuccessful. Instead, Tehran has hardened its position over time, accusing the Evin prisoners of working for Israeli intelligence.

Given the general tightening of the Iranian law enforcement authorities' attitude towards "Israeli agents" after "Lion Force," the fate of the French is unenviable: with a high degree of probability, they, like other arrested pro-Israeli figures, will soon be sentenced to death.

Macron, who built his political image, among other things, around his readiness to defend the interests of French citizens at any cost, absolutely cannot allow this to happen. And since neither generous promises nor threats have ultimately worked, the only remaining way out is to seek the organization of an exchange process, in which Russia could act as a mediator.

Unlike Tehran’s other foreign policy partners, Moscow enjoys a significant “credit of trust” in the eyes of the Iranian authorities, reinforced by the conclusion of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty in early 2025. This makes it a suitable guarantor of the transparency of the hypothetical exchange procedures.

Tehran has something to demand from France. For example, it could include in the exchange list a group of ethnic Azerbaijanis who were collecting data on military logistics in Cyprus and were arrested by European security forces in late June.

It is also possible to request the return to their homeland of Iranian activists detained in the United States several days ago, or to demand the extradition of several army defectors who previously moved first to Israel and from there to Europe.

In all cases, this will require France to urgently work with its allies to persuade them to comply with Tehran's demands, which, unlike Macron, has nothing to lose regardless of the outcome of the deal.

That is why the Elysee Palace is trying to buy time and is waiting for Moscow to help it in a gentlemanly manner in this matter.

PM’s office says Hamas seeking unacceptable changes to hostage deal proposal
[IsraelTimes] According to a source involved in the mediation efforts, Hamas wants three core changes. It wants the agreement to say that talks on a permanent ceasefire will continue until an agreement is reached; that aid will fully resume through mechanisms backed by the United Nations and other international aid organizations; and that the IDF withdraw to positions it maintained before the collapse of the previous ceasefire in March.

Netanyahu to Discuss Hostage Release Deal with Part of Cabinet
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened a narrow session of the Israeli government. This was announced on July 5 by Dmitry Gendelman, an adviser to the office of the head of the Israeli Cabinet.

“This evening, the prime minister will convene a meeting of the narrow cabinet, at which the issue of the speedy release of all our hostages will be discussed, including sending a negotiating team to Doha,” he told TASS.

According to the Ynet portal, mediators are negotiating a new round of indirect talks between the parties in Doha, the Qatari capital, on July 6 following the response of the Palestinian Hamas movement to the ceasefire proposal in the Gaza Strip. It is claimed that Israel has received a response from Hamas to the latest ceasefire proposal in Gaza. Now its details are being studied.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, on May 29, Al Arabiya TV channel announced that Hamas and Israel had agreed to a temporary truce in the Gaza Strip for 60 days. Later, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt confirmed that Israel had signed the proposal of US Presidential Special Envoy Steven Witkoff and US President Donald Trump for a peaceful settlement of the conflict. The proposal was then sent to Hamas.

In early June, the Israeli military found and returned the bodies of two hostages during an operation in the Gaza Strip. They were found in the Khan Yunis area. It is noted that the captives were killed on October 7, 2023, after which their bodies were taken to the Gaza Strip. The deceased were a married couple.

Iran’s supreme leader makes first public appearance since start of war with Israel

[IsraelTimes] Footage showed 86-year-old leader waving to chanting crowd gathered at a mosque in Tehran, but he did not deliver any public address

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...>
on Saturday made his first public appearance since the 12-day war between Israel and Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
began last month, attending a mourning ceremony on the eve of Ashoura.

Khamenei’s absence during the war suggested that there was heavy security for the Iranian leader, who has the final say on all state matters.

State TV in Iran showed the 86-year-old leader waving and nodding to the chanting crowd, which rose to its feet as he entered and sat at a mosque next to his office and residence in the capital, Tehran.

There was no immediate report on any public statement made. Iranian officials such as the Parliament speaker were present. Such events are always held under heavy security.

Khamenei had reportedly sheltered in a bunker for the duration of the war, and after, for fear of being assassinated. He had instead issued pre-taped messages, and state television
... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
had aired his pre-recorded remarks.

His last public appearance before the outbreak of war on June 13 was two days before that, when he met with members of parliament.

Well-preserved Greek and Roman tombs discovered in Egypt
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Archaeologists have discovered well-preserved tombs from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods in southern Egypt during excavations in Aswan. The discovery was made by a joint Egyptian-Italian mission, the country's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities reported.

The rock-cut tombs were found in a cemetery near the Aga Khan mausoleum on the west bank of Aswan. They contain hieroglyphic inscriptions that are in good condition.

As noted by the department, one of the discovered tombs is located at a depth of more than two meters underground, with a stone staircase of nine steps leading to it. Inside this tomb, a limestone sarcophagus about two meters high was found, located on a rocky platform. Its lid is made in the form of a person with bright features of a human face.

The sarcophagus has hieroglyphic texts. Archaeologists have established that the owner of the tomb was a high-ranking official from Aswan. Mummies, including those of children, were also found in the sarcophagus.

Secretary General of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities Mohamed Ismail Khaled said the finds and inscriptions would provide rich scientific material for Egyptologists. He said tomography and biological analysis of the mummies found are planned.

As previously reported by Regnum News Agency, in the Saqqara region south of Cairo, Egyptian archaeologists discovered the tomb of Prince Waser-if-re, the son of King Userkaf.

PJ Media adds:
The policeman injured in the clash was treated at a Fort Worth hospital and subsequently released, which is excellent news.

CBS claimed that a “federal law enforcement source” had told the outlet a total of eight individuals were arrested, including many with body armor. The suspects reportedly launched fireworks as an apparent lure to draw law enforcement to the area where the shooting occurred.

The source told CBS News that early reports indicate that more than a dozen masked individuals dressed in black arrived at the Prairieland ICE detention facility late Friday night and vandalized vehicles and security cameras in the parking lot.

After Nearly 62 Years, CIA Finally Admits a Pyschological Warfare Agent from the Agency
[Gateway] President John F. Kennedy was assassinated 62 years ago while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963.

Thanks to President Trump the American public is finally discovering the real story behind the assassination.

For years Americans have been holding their own investigations into the death of our 35th president.

Robert Kennedy, Jr. told Tucker Carlson back in August 2023 that he has had discussions with CIA and mob hitmen who were assigned to the JFK assassination.

Robert Kennedy, Jr. told The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft in May 2023 that his father’s initial impulse was to call the CIA and ask about their involvement. Kennedy is convinced of CIA involvement in his uncle’s assassination.

Robert’s father, Robert Kennedy, was later assassinated in San Francisco during his campaign for US president.

Now, according to AXIOS, for the first time since President Kennedy’s assassination, the CIA has admitted that an officer specializing in psychological warfare ran an operation that "came into contact with" Lee Harvey Oswald before the assassination in Dallas.

The newly released documents reveal CIA operatives got into a scuffle with Oswald in a New Orleans’ bar. The DRE was an anti-communist group and Oswald was reportedly handing out pro-Castro propaganda.

The CIA was covertly funding the DRE.
Directorio Revolucionario Estudiantil (DRE)

From the report: A year before Oswald became known as pro-Castro, the Pentagon formulated a plan called Operation Northwoods to stage a false-flag attack in the United States, blame Cuba and then attack it.

AXIOS has more.

How much more on the Kennedy assassination is out there that we still don’t know about?

Many years ago, I used to attend business meetings with various government employees. They were all given name badges with the name of their agency - Department of Agriculture, etc. You could identify the CIA people because their badges just said "US Government".

Investigative Committee identifies the Ukrainian who ordered the shooting down of the Il-76 with Russian prisoners
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The Russian Il-76 aircraft, transporting captured Ukrainian military personnel, was shot down on the orders of the commander of the 138th anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Nikolai Dzyaman. This was established by the Investigative Committee of Russia during the investigation of the disaster that occurred in January 2024 in the Belgorod region.

According to the department, the plane was hit by an anti-aircraft missile from one of the Patriot air defense systems, which are in service with the 138th Brigade.

“The servicemen who struck the aircraft were carrying out an illegal order from the brigade commander Nikolai Dzyaman and the higher command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee said in a statement.

Dzyaman is accused of committing a terrorist act and is on the international wanted list. Other accomplices in the crime, including high-ranking Ukrainian military officers, are being identified.

The results of the investigation were reported to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, at an operational meeting of the headquarters for the investigation of Kiev's crimes, which took place in Donetsk, the department noted.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on January 24 last year, a heavy military transport aircraft Il-76 of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which took off from the Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow, crashed in the Belgorod region, near the village of Yablonovo. There were 74 people on board: six crew members, three escorts and 65 captured Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers who were being transported to Belgorod for exchange. They all died.

WATCH ‐ ‘F**k Him Up!': Men Rescue Woman from Suspected NYC Subway Attacker
[Breitbart] A male suspect was charged after an incident at a Brooklyn subway station Sunday in which a 20-year-old woman was targeted, resulting in several Good Samaritans stepping in to rescue her.

The suspect, 42-year-old Fredrick Marshall, allegedly began trying to argue with the woman, then grabbed her and locked her in a bear hug, at which point she screamed, the New York Post reported on Thursday

Marshall was reportedly a stranger to the woman and followed her onto the J train platform at Norwood Avenue in Cypress Hills on Sunday morning. Tensions escalated when he allegedly began arguing with her.

Video footage shows the suspect, wearing white, as he held onto her and tried to move her down the platform. Several people watched in disbelief as she screamed and others followed the pair as they moved away from another train and near the tracks.

Someone is heard shouting “Let her go!” repeatedly until the suspect finally does release her. However, when she tries to run away, the suspect grabs her again and they fall to the ground. Several men then drag the suspect off of the woman and appear to kick him.

“Fuck him up!” one man is heard saying as the group holds him down. The distraught woman then gets to her feet and runs away from the scene.

As one of the men walks away, he says to the suspect, “Somebody try to tell you to something, chill the fuck out! Now you got it”:

Law enforcement said medical personnel treated the woman at the scene for shoulder pain and minor injuries, adding that Marshall was arrested and officers found a knife and blackjack on his person.

According to the Recoil website, a blackjack is a short, weighted, concealable weapon that can be used to bludgeon a person.

The Post reported, “He was charged with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree attempted assault and second-degree harassment, according to a criminal complaint.”

“Marshall — who cops say has no prior arrests — was granted supervised release during his arraignment the next day, as the charges are not bail-eligible, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office,” the report added.
Suicidally nuts.
Social media users were quick to respond to the Post‘s story, specifically about the men who stepped in to rescue the victim. One user commented, “Justice served fast and fierce.”

In late 2024, crime prevention activist and New York City mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa said his public safety organization known as the Guardian Angels would return to the city’s subways, the news coming after a horrific arson murder of a sleeping passenger, per Breitbart News.

“We’re going to have to increase our numbers, increase the training and increase our presence as we did back in 1979,” Sliwa explained.
