Dutch court: Government not violating weapon exports ban to Israel by supplying US
[IsraelTimes] Complying with previous court order, Netherlands has temporarily stopped sending F-35 parts to Israel, but rights group argues it is sidestepping ban by shipping them to America

A Dutch court on Friday rejected a claim from a group of human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
organizations that the Netherlands is dodging a court order to stop sending F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel by supplying the parts to the United States.

The Hague District Court ruled that Oxfam Novib, Pax Nederland and The Rights Forum had not shown any evidence that the Dutch government was ignoring the earlier ruling.

In February, an appeals court told the Dutch government to halt the export of F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel, citing a clear risk of violations of international law if they are used in strikes on Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
. The Dutch government appealed that ruling to the Supreme Court, but said it was abiding by the order in the meantime by halting direct exports to Israel.

The aid groups went back to court last month, arguing the country was evading the ban by sending the parts to the US, which was then sending them on to Israel. They demanded a fine for the alleged breach.

The groups are "giving too broad an interpretation" to the earlier judgment, the court wrote in Friday’s ruling.

The organizations said they disagreed with the decision and were considering further legal action. "It is unacceptable that the Netherlands remains knowingly complicit in violations of the laws of war by Israel in Gaza," they said in a joint statement.

During a hearing in June, the Dutch government said it was unable to track the parts after they left the Netherlands and warned against placing further restrictions. Reimer Veldhuis, a lawyer representing the government, cautioned that seeking to prevent more exports of F-35 parts to nations other than Israel could put at risk supplies to militaries around the world who operate the advanced fighter jets at a time of soaring international tensions.

The Netherlands is home to one of three F-35 European regional warehouses.

The Dutch Supreme Court will take up the larger case in September.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Prosecutors: New Jersey white supremacist’s ‘ultimate dream’ was synagogue attack
…after he got back from Ukraine, I think. The report is a bit confusing.
[IsraelTimes] Justice Dept. says Andrew Takhistov, arrested en route to joining pro-Russia unit in Ukraine amid plot on electrical substation, wanted to attack synagogue with Hamas-style rocket

A New Jersey man who authorities say was on his way to Ukraine to join a volunteer fighting unit has been arrested in an alleged plot to attack a US electrical substation to advance his white supremacist views, the Justice Department said Thursday.

Andrew Takhistov, 18, was arrested Wednesday at the Newark Liberty International Airport, where he was headed to Gay Paree before going to Ukraine to join the Russian Volunteer Corps, a pro-Ukrainian group fighting Russian forces, officials said.

Authorities say Takhistov began talking in January with the person he did not realize was an undercover agent, and he began discussing a plan to attack an electrical substation. They drove together to two electrical substations in North Brunswick and New Brunswick, New Jersey, and Takhistov provided information on how to construct Molotov cocktails, the type of clothing to wear and where to park to avoid detection, authorities said.

He also discussed various "strategies for terrorist attacks, including rocket and explosives attacks against synagogues," and expressed a desire to bring back illegal supplies from Ukraine in order to carry out attacks that would threaten the US government, a law enforcement official wrote in court papers.

An attorney for Takhistov didn’t immediately respond to an email seeking comment from The News Agency that Dare Not be Named. A person listed as a relative also didn’t immediately respond to a message from the AP.

Takhistov espoused white supremacist views in his conversations with the undercover agent, and in posts "encouraged violence against Black and Jewish communities, praised mass shooters, and discussed causing death and destruction on a large scale," according to New Jersey US Attorney Philip Sellinger.

Takhistov discussed during a meeting in June a "three-step plan for white domination:" ending the war in Ukraine, invading Russia and then starting "political activism in Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
and America, supporting National Socialist political parties," the official wrote in court papers.

Takhistov "explained that rallies and protests would not work; rather, people were waiting for a big event, such as the Oklahoma City bombing," authorities allege. Takhistov told the undercover agent that while he was in Ukraine the person had to carry out "at least one event of serious activism," they said.

Takhistov said his "ultimate dream was to attack a synagogue with a Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
-style rocket," officials said.

"We will not tolerate these kinds of alleged terroristic threats, and working with our partners, we will always be ready to root out and bring to justice anyone who attempts to carry out these acts," Sellinger said.

Mississippi congressman's staffer says 'don't miss next time' after Trump assassination attempt
[JustTheNews] A now-deleted Facebook post by a staffer of Mississippi's lone Democrat congressman appeared to support the attempted liquidation of former President Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
on Saturday.

The deleted post by Jacqueline Marsaw, a field director for U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Mississippi, said "I don't condone violence but please get you some shooting lessons so you don't miss next time ooops [sic] that wasn't me talking."
Personnel is policy. And some people like that kind of attitude in their staffers.
The Mississippi Republican Party's X account said Thompson should "FIRE his field director for condoning the attempted liquidation of President @realDonaldTrump !!!" The post also said state Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
"must repudiate these despicable statements."

Trump was maimed in the ear and rushed off the stage Saturday at a rally in Butler, Pa. by U.S. Secret Service agents and other law enforcement officers.

In a post to X after the shooting, Thompson said "There is no room in American democracy for political violence. I am grateful for law enforcement’s fast response to this incident. I am glad the former President is safe, and my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved."

Thompson is the author of the Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable Former Protectees Act. House Resolution 8081 would strip Secret Service protection for anyone convicted of a state or federal crime and sentenced to a year or more in prison.

#1  I listened to the Biden address after the assassination- yes it was an assassination not an attempt unless we plan to spoon the brains back into the innocent bystander and are really good at resurrection prayers. Biden said THE IDEA about ten times in a row again like his needle was stuck in a scratch. It reminded me of the time that he told us that ANTIFA was not real and just an IDEA. I wonder if this guy was ever sprung from jail by Kamala’s ANTIFA defense fund.

Saying if Trump Wins an Election 'Our Country Will End, Our Democracy Will End' Has Consequences
[Breitbart] Saturday, during CNN’s coverage of an attempt to take the life of former President Donald Trump, CNN contributor Scott Jennings
…Republican strategist and conservative voice on CNN…
told his colleagues the hyperbole from media and Democrats about a potential second presidency has consequences.

“Think about what you just said — we are one inch, one inch from something far more terrible tonight,” Jennings said. “I mean, the country is already shocked, and we are in bad need of healing and unity in this country, but we were one inch from something far worse. Republicans, I’m hearing from tonight, are shocked. They are worried about our country. They are worried about Donald Trump. They’re worried about the rhetoric around Donald Trump. I mean, I hate to say it, but the rhetoric around him over the last few weeks that if he wins an election, our country will end, our democracy will end, it’s the last election that we’ll ever have. These things have consequences, OK?”

“I don’t know what the motivations of the shooter are,” he continued. “I don’t know any of the details, but I know the rhetoric around Trump has grown really extreme. You mentioned some other violence. You didn’t mention the Supreme Court attempted murder of a Supreme Court justice or the congressional baseball game where Steve Scalise was nearly murdered—one a conservative, the other a Republican. But we have people in this country who are dedicated to telling half the country that if Donald Trump wins an election, the country will end, the Constitution will go away and so on and so forth. What I want to hear from all elected officials is this kind of hyperbolic extremism has consequences, and it must end. Yes, we are all shocked. And yes, political violence has no place. Where does it come from? It’s got to stop.”

#1  Yes, the truth has consequences. It’s not a game show. My patience for the CNN folks and the 40 percent of Americans who are leftist morons and support ANTIFA is exhausted. Have whatever federal law enforcement agency that doesn’t report to Wray or Garland sweep up all the ANTIFA militants and put them on ice for 3 years until we figure out what to charge them for.

#8  “The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy… but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone.” - Author Unknown.

Sadly, I feel that we are very close to this point.

Microsoft cutting crucial link to Gaza, Palestinians say
[BBC] Palestinians living abroad have accused Microsoft of closing their email accounts without warning - cutting them off from crucial online services. They say it has left them unable to access bank accounts and job offers - and stopped them using Skype, which Microsoft owns, to contact relatives in war-torn Gaza.

Microsoft says they violated its terms of service - a claim they dispute.

"They killed my life online," said Eiad Hametto, who lives in Saudi Arabia.

"They’ve suspended my email account that I’ve had for nearly 20 years - It was connected to all my work," he told the BBC.

He also said being cut off from Skype was a huge blow for his family.

The internet is frequently disrupted or switched off there because of the Israeli military campaign - and standard international calls are very expensive. With a paid Skype subscription, it is possible to call mobiles in Gaza cheaply - and while the internet is down - so it has become a lifeline to many Palestinians.

Some of the people the BBC spoke to said they suspected they were wrongly thought to have ties to Hamas, which Israel is fighting, and is designated a terrorist organisation by many countries. But Mr Hametto denied he had any such links.

“We are civilians with no political background who just wanted to check on our families," he said.

Microsoft did not respond directly when asked if suspected ties to Hamas were the reason for the accounts being shut. But a spokesperson said it did not block calls or ban users based on calling region or destination.

"Blocking in Skype can occur in response to suspected fraudulent activity," they said, without elaborating.

Salah Elsadi, who lives in the US, also told the BBC that in April, he was kicked out of his account - and all services linked to his Microsoft Hotmail account.

"I've had this Hotmail for 15 years," Mr Elsadi told the BBC.

"They banned me for no reason, saying I have violated their terms - what terms? Tell me.

"I've filled out about 50 forms and called them many many times."

Another Palestinian the BBC spoke to, Khalid Obaied, said he now no longer trusted Microsoft.

"I paid for a package to make phone calls - then, after 10 days, they ban me for no reason," he said.

"That means it's only because I’m a Palestinian calling Gaza.”

Families of hostages: 'Deal with Hamas is surrender'
[IsraelNational News] Residents of the north, bereaved families, and relatives of hostages protested outside the Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem, calling for continued pressure on Hamas and against a deal with Hezbollah.
Not the Antifa-types marching every week to demand Bibi step done for whatever the latest reason is.
The northerners call for total war in the north: "We're not going back to the north without security and without victory." Some evacuees lay down on the road in sleeping bags and declared: "We have no home, we have been left stranded in the street."

Minister Silman encouraged the protesters: "It's amazing to see everyone fighting for the victory of the State of Israel. We are all one people, fighting to defeat our enemies on all fronts and to bring the hostages home."

Matan Jerafi, head of the mission department at the Im Tirtzu movement, said: "We congratulate the Prime Minister and the security establishment on the elimination of Deif, hoping it will prove successful. Hamas's inability to respond from Gaza to assassination attempts proves there is no substitute for control on the ground. This is precisely the moment to shift into high gear, complete the takeover of the Strip, and eliminate all Hamas leaders. This is the message that will be understood well even in the bunkers in Beirut. Only military pressure will defeat Hamas and Hezbollah in Lebanon, only military pressure will return the hostages."

Yehoshua Shani, father of Uri Mordechai, may he rest in peace, and one of the founders of the Valor Forum, said: "We came this morning to the government meeting to remind the Prime Minister and the ministers why we went to war. We went to war to eliminate the enemy, and the deal currently being discussed is a reckless deal that will sentence the remaining hostages to death and put all Israeli citizens at risk. This will be a very problematic message for our enemies, so we demand from here that the Israeli government give the order to continue the eliminations, to topple Hamas, and to say no to a reckless deal. We need to return the residents of the north and the south to their homes and eliminate Hamas down to the very last terrorist. We call on the government to press on the gas, order the IDF to continue fighting, conduct significant eliminations, and eliminate Hamas!"

on Gaza City. After Israeli forces redeployed from Shuja'iya, locals came back to assess the damage, but many found it difficult to identify their homes due to the total ruin.

Residents say large-scale intelligence activities had been taking place in Shuja'iya, leading to more destruction in that area. According to the Paleostinian residents, the Israeli occupation forces also invaded a local cemetery, trying to find any clue about the Israeli captives by unearthing the bodies for DNA tests, which the locals condemned as "blatant desecration of the sanctity of the bodies".
Unless, of course, any of the bodies happen to be kidnapped Israelis who died at Gazan hands.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Says No Significant Breakthrough at NATO Summit
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited

But in the Donbass, on the other hand...

[Regnum] Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis did not see a global strategic breakthrough in the results of the NATO summit. He noted that political expectations from the summit were low from the very beginning.

“What hasn’t happened is any major strategic breakthrough,” the politician wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

He stressed that no one had high expectations from the summit, since the final provisions of the declaration were known several months before the event.

The diplomat called the fact that at the summit the participants once again did not give Ukraine permission to strike deep into Russia with Western weapons the biggest missed opportunity.

The NATO summit took place in Washington from July 9 to 11.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, the joint declaration of the participants of the NATO summit in Washington, which is taking place on July 9-11, contains a thesis on the "irreversibility" of Ukraine's entry into the North Atlantic Alliance. However, the document notes that at the moment the alliance is not ready to send Ukraine a direct invitation, including due to the lack of full agreement among NATO member countries.

At the same time, after the summit, on July 12, US President Joe Biden said that permission to strike targets along the border with Russia was short-term . According to the American leader, there was “no need” for the US to further lift restrictions on Kiev’s use of American weapons to strike Russia.

On June 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, called Ukraine's official refusal to join NATO one of the mandatory conditions, upon fulfillment of which it will be possible to hold negotiations on a peaceful settlement of the conflict.

On July 12, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that NATO long-range missiles are already striking Russian territory, and a possible increase in the range of such strikes will be a new stage in the escalation of the conflict.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
2,400 Portland Patients Exposed to HIV and Hepatitis
[Epoch Times] Health care providers in the Portland, Oregon, area said Thursday that 2,400 patients should get blood tests because an anesthesiologist may have exposed them to HIV as well as hepatitis B and C in recent months.

In a statement, Providence Health said that it "recently learned that Providence’s comprehensive infection control practices may not have been followed by a physician during some procedures" at several hospitals."

The individual who was allegedly responsible is a physician previously employed by the Oregon Anesthesiology Group, said Legacy in the statement. The unnamed person is no longer employed by Oregon Anesthesiology Group and the company is no longer contracted by Providence, it said.

's Hezbollah launched rockets at Israel on Saturday after an Israeli air strike that according to a Lebanese security source killed two civilians in the country's south.
More probably “civilians” who will later be revealed to be Hezbollah made men who died, as they say, on the road to Jerusalem.
The Israeli military, whose forces have been trading regular cross-border fire with Hezbollah since early October, said its raid had targeted two operatives from the Iran-backed group.

The Israeli military said four soldiers were maimed including one "severely", after air defences intercepted most of the "approximately 15 launches... identified crossing from Lebanon".

Israeli aircraft then "struck a Hezbollah field commander who was operating in the area of (Kfar) Tebnit in southern Lebanon", the military added.

Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine Budanov announcs 'assassination attempts' on Putin
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The Kiev regime organized assassination attempts on Russian President Vladimir Putin, which were unsuccessful. This statement was made on July 13 by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (an individual included in the register of terrorists and extremists in Russia).

“They were there, but, as you can see, they have also been unsuccessful so far,” the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua quoted him as saying.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, later on March 13, the head of state's press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian president's security was being ensured at the proper level. The Kremlin representative specified that the threats emanating from Kiev were obvious.

In late March, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk (an individual included in the register of terrorists and extremists in Russia), hinted at the agency's involvement in the murders and assassination attempts on Ukrainian and Russian politicians and public figures, including war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky and former Verkhovna Rada deputy Ilya Kiva . He also gave some details of the assassination attempts, without officially admitting involvement in them.

In May 2023, Budanov indicated that the Kiev regime was involved in assassination attempts on famous Russians. However, he did not answer the question about Kiev's involvement in the bombing of writer Zakhar Prilepin in the Nizhny Novgorod region. And on May 25, Budanov's deputy Vadim Skibitsky said that the Russian leader was the main target for the GUR.

On May 27, 2023, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on the threats made by the Kiev regime against the head of state, calling Ukraine a terrorist state. The head of the MFA recalled that the threats were made by the adviser to the head of the office of the leader of the Kiev regime, Mykhailo Podolyak, and the then Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov (an individual included in the register of terrorists and extremists in Russia).

Fifth Column
Round-up: Pennsylvania Trump rally shooting
See yesterday evening’s posts here, here, and here, because our people are really fast off the mark. Seriously well done, y’all.

This ID was quick, but seemingly not quite accurate.

Pennsylvania Trump rally shooting suspect pictured after deadly assassination attempt
[FoxNews] Gunman and one spectator dead, 2 more wounded; Trump OK

Images provided by law enforcement sources at the scene of former President Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania Saturday appear to show the downed suspect after Secret Service agents "neutralized" a gunman who they say opened fire on the rally, fatally striking one spectator and critically injuring two more.

Authorities were still working to confirm the suspect's identity Saturday evening.

Trump was rushed to a hospital after he appeared to suffer an injury to his ear and was pictured with blood on the right side of his face and head as Secret Service agents escorted him off the rally stage.

After agents shielded him behind their own bodies, he rose with them and held his hand up, prompting cheers from the crowd after several moments on gunfire and panic.

The Secret Service said in a statement that the attacker and one bystander had been killed. Two other people were hurt.

The gunman opened fire from an "elevated position" outside the rally's security perimeter, authorities said.

Later Saturday, the FBI said it was taking the lead in the investigation.

Bloody images from the scene show a man with a thin build and a gray T-shirt. He appeared to have been shot in the head.

Trump appeared to grab his ear and duck as agents swarmed to protect him. They can be overheard on the microphone saying the shooter, who was out of the camera's view, is down.

Sources said Secret Service counter snipers took him out after he opened fire on the former president from a vantage point about 300 yards away.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Trump in a statement said that the bullet "pierced" the upper part of his right ear. The attack happened just minutes after he took the stage at a rally at Butler Farm in Butler County, Pennsylvania.

"I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania," Trump said.

"Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country."

President Biden also condemned the attack, saying he had been briefed on the incident and that he had spoken with his predecessor and 2024 rival in the aftermath.

"I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well," he said. "I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information."

Musk says he 'fully' endorses Donald Trump after shots fired during campaign rally
[BUSINESSINSIDER]
  • Musk endorsed Trump after the former president appeared to be injured at a Pennsylvania rally.

  • Trump had to be escorted offstage after gunshots rang out during his rally.

  • Musk also called Trump the toughest president since Theodore Roosevelt.

A few short minutes after Trump took the stage, shots rang out
Yes, the world is watching.
[IsraelTimes] At 6:02 pm Saturday, to the strains of "God Bless the USA," former president Donald Trump
...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the World in the general election...
took the stage at fairgrounds in Butler, Pennsylvania, waving at the cheering crowd and settling into his regular rally speech under a scorching midsummer sun.

A few short minutes later, Trump pointed to a projection of a chart that showed a spike in illegal border crossings under the man he’s running against, President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem machine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family...
. "That chart’s a couple of months old," Trump told the crowd. "And if you want to see something really sad —"

That’s when the shots rang out, at least five. Trump clutched his ear as dark-suited Secret Service agents dashed toward him. He dropped to the ground as the agents yelled, "Get down!" The thousands of rallygoers packed into the field in front of him moved as one, dropping down as silence spread across the grass, punctuated only by an occasional scream.

Selections from the Daily Mail liveblog:
A 20-year-old gunman shot and wounded Donald Trump in an attempted assassin at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday in one of the most horrifying acts of violence in political history.

The former president was speaking to thousands of fan when he grabbed his ear and had blood covering his face after the suspect opened fire with an AR rifle from a rooftop 130 yards from the stage.

At least eight shots were fired and the crowd started screaming as Trump was swarmed by his Secret Service agents.

He then got up, raised his fist and shouted 'fight, fight, fight' as he was rushed away from the scene and to hospital. Just a few hours later he released a statement saying he was fine and describing the moment he felt the bullet rip through his skin.

The attacker killed a member of the crowd before he was shot and killed in the terrifying incident that has sparked questions of how law enforcement allowed him to open fire on a former president.

00:11 Gunman identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, according to reports
The gunman who tried to assassinate Donald Trump has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, according to reports. The 20-year-old from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, fired shots at the former president from a roof 130 yards away from the rally stage. Crooks killed a member of the rally crowd, shot Trump through the year and was then shot and killed by Secret Service agents. The New York Post was the first to identify Crooks. The FBI have not yet formally released his name.
Yesterday we were informed the shooter was Antifa member Mark Violets. It will be interesting to discover the which report is correct.
22:48 Trump's White House physician reveals his nephew was shot in the neck during attempted assassination
Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson revealed his nephew was shot during the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Jackson, who was Trump and President Barack Obama's White House physician, said he helped his nephew and a friend get a spot in the friends and family section close to the stage at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He told Fox News on Saturday night that his relative was grazed in the neck and bleeding.

23:09 Police searching abandoned van in Butler
Local police are looking at a van that has been sitting on the 100 block of Lawrence Avenue in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to a local TV reporter there. It appears they are searching a van that has been sitting here for hours with out of state plates. Bomb squad is on their way, posted WTAE reporter Yazmin Rodriguez. The street is about a 15 minute walk from the fairgrounds where Trump held his rally, according to Google maps.

21:48 RNC and Trump campaign say convention will go on as planned
The Republican National Committee and the leaders of the Trump campaign said in a statement Saturday that the Republican National Convention will go on as planned. The Milwaukee-based convention is expected to kick off Monday and go through Thursday. The statement was signed by Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley and Co-Chair Lara Trump, the former president's daughter-in-law, as well as Trump's senior campaign advisers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita.

20:13 Biden campaign pulls down all ads in wake of Trump shooting
President Joe Biden's campaign said Saturday night that it was pulling down all campaign advertising in the wake of the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on former President Donald Trump.

20:13 Biden campaign pulls down all ads in wake of Trump shooting
President Joe Biden's campaign said Saturday night that it was pulling down all campaign advertising in the wake of the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on former President Donald Trump.

Update from the PJ Media liveblog at 2:40 p.m. ET:
For those just joining us, here's what we know:
  • On Saturday, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crook shot Donald Trump in the ear from the top of a building 130 yards from the stage.

  • The bullet hit Trump in the ear, less than an inch away from his brain. A turn of Trump's head a millisecond before the first shot was fired likely saved his life.

  • Secret Service agents shot Crook dead after he got off eight shots.

  • Crook murdered Corey Comperatore, and two other rally-goers were injured. Comperatone threw himself on family members, taking a bullet for them and likely saving their lives.

  • His daughter described Comperatore as a "man of God" who "loved Jesus fiercely and looked after our church and our members as family." He is now resting in the arms of his Savior.

  • The gun Crook used, described as AR-15-style, was purchased legally by his father. IEDs were found in Crook's car.

  • Trump appeared last night when his plane landed in New Jersey. He walked unassisted down the stairs.

  • After six hours of silence, the FBI and Pennsylvania authorities held an impotent press conference early Sunday morning and offered no new information. No Secret Service member attended the presser, nor did Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

  • There are many questions about how Crook was allowed to get within easy shooting range of Trump. Was it an oversight by management, a staffing problem, a failure by agents on the ground, or something else?

  • In a statement this morning on Truth Social, Trump urged Americans to "stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win."

  • We are awaiting a new televised statement from President Biden, who flew back to Washington from his beach estate last night.

#5  A bit of gallows humor from the Russians:

From a V Kontakte post:

Recall that an attempt was made to kill Trump yesterday at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The shooter was killed. Trump has undergone a medical examination, everything is fine with himorder. At least one rally participant was killed and two were wounded as a result of the shooting.

This morning, the White House reported that Biden had spoken with Trump after the assassination attempt. No details were given, but he probably assured Trumo that he was not the shooter!

#15  The worthless FBI is leading the investigation....how much you wanna bet this guy will turn out to be 'known' to the FBI and was led down the same path as that kidnapping plot crew. Sure they can claim he's a republican but I don't believe it. Republican doesn't mean anything anymore anyway.

I'm 53 years old and never in my life have I felt this nation so close to something so profoundly ugly and bloody. I'm just glad if we have to do this again, my son isn't old enough.

This will not end well and I'm certain it's NOT over.

With the FBI able to spin it, they'll paint this guy as right wing, no matter what and then one of their patsy's will take out Biden to 'remove' the problem. I've said it twice on here the past few weeks.

Everything I try to post a certain comment it doesn't appear
I predict:

The shooter was known to agents via a cutout confidential informant, who the FBI will refuse to name and refuse to say what his task was.

The secret service will either have no answer or will refuse to answer why that roof was not manned.

Both agencies will refuse to answer or provide congress with any documents about the findings of the investigation. They will also be covered by DC judges about being forced to handover the reports. They will claim operational security.

1-2 Whistleblowers will come forward with damning allegations but then commit suicide after 'suddenly' being found to possess child s*ex abuse material.

#42  The ladder is a hugely important piece of the story. Given the relatively short distance from the rooftop to the podium, the security threat assessment by the USSS had to consider the rooftop as a primary threat location. Given it was outside the event perimeter, and that the detail was apparently lacking sufficient USSS personnel, it is reasonable to presme the site was screened and checked in the final sweep prior to the start of the event. It is likely local/state LEOs were in the security zone and conducted the final sweep which would have reported the rooftop clear. But was the ladder visible or in the periphery of the building? If so, it should have been impounded or removed. If not, then the shooter would have had to bring it with him, an obvious signature for the security zone LEOs to note and investigate. If it was there, forensics might determine why and who was involved in its placement. Either way, it is a critical component in determining if this was merely incompetence or a more complex conspiracy.

Reportedly, Crooks was not carrying identification and was identified through DNA. I don’t understand that. How was the FBI or Secret Service able to identify Crooks through his DNA, almost immediately? How many outlets will run this picture? It had to be the picture of the day. See the courage? The defiance? The sense of purpose? It looks historical, iconic. Kinda reminds me of Washington crossing the Delaware. He is a better man than any of the people who sent his would-be assassin(s).

Unclear if the local LEO made immediate report that alerted the USSS Counter-Sniper Team to the rooftop and helped them quickly ID and neytalized the shooter. More to follow I suspect from the USSS at 130 PST.

“He could talk and make friends with anyone, which he was doing all day yesterday and loved every minute of it. He was a man of God, loved Jesus fiercely, and also looked after our church and our members as family,” she said, adding that the media “will not tell you that he died a real-life super hero."

“They are not going to tell you how quickly he threw my mom and I to the ground. They are not going to tell you that he shielded my body from the bullet that came at us,” she wrote. “He loved his family. He truly loved us enough to take a real bullet for us.”

“And I want nothing more than to cry on him and tell him thank you. I want nothing more than to wake up and for this to not be reality for me and my family,” she said, describing her dad as “selfless” and “loving.”

“And I will never stop thinking about him and mourning over him until the day that I die too,” she said, expressing deep love of her father.

🚨New info from a source in the Secret Service community — Trump’s usual protective Secret Service detail was worked so hard (working 7 days a week with no days off) that many of agents assigned Saturday were temporary replacements from different field offices.

This is not the usual protocol for sitting presidents and vice presidents but “typical” for former presidents, (although no former presidents have run again in modern history.)

“Trump has a permanent detail, however it’s much smaller in the amount of bodies,” the source said. “His detail has been worked so hard with all the travel that they’re working 7 days a week with shift changes. so HQ sends in temp agents to supplement - not a good scenario. Mission Failure, IMHO.”

The "glaring Secret Service mistake" was a problem assessing the line of sight + there should be an internal Secret Service paper trail on how many counter-snipers, other officers and agents were allotted to this event in Pennsylvnia, one source in the Secret Service community tells me.

Before the event, a Secret Service advance team walks the potectee's (in this case, Trump's) route (ingress/egrees) and the site then stands on the stage and looks out 360 degrees to determine vulnerabilities, keeping in mind effective lethal handgun and rifle ranges and making sure those areas are posted and covered. In this case, they missed the rooftop 130 to 150 yards away. Even for a mediocre shooter, that's not a difficult shot. Many competitive shooters compete out to 1,000 yards.

"How many counter sniper teams were there? On the presidential protective detail [agents] use as many as we needed if we could justify it. Former presidents and other details are lucky if they get one, and luckier if they get more than one."

When Secret Service agents do advance work for a rally or other event they submit a manpower request through the lead advance agent. The lead advance agent submits the number of post standers, magnetometers, counter snipers, etc, that would be needed for a particular visit.

A Secret Service official back in D.C. in manpower/protective operations then comes back and says, "You're only getting this."

"We would always be sure our requests were in writing so we would have a paper trail just in case of the present scenario we have in Butler," the source tells me.https://x.com/susancrabtree/status/1812517121538314544

Meta eases restrictions on Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts
[IsraelTimes] Meta says it’s rolling back some restrictions that had applied to former US President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.

The social media company indefinitely suspended Trump’s accounts following his praise of people who stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. The company then reinstated his accounts in early 2023, saying it would monitor Trump’s posts for further violations that could result in another suspension of between one month and two years.

Trump, who is running against US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass....
, will no longer be subject to the additional monitoring, Meta says.

"In assessing our responsibility to allow political expression, we believe that the American people should be able to hear from the nominees for president on the same basis," Meta says in an updated blog post.

Some social media experts have long criticized Meta and other platforms for failing to moderate political content, including from political candidates.

Trump was also banned from Twitter, now called X, in 2021. Billionaire Elon Musk restored the account shortly after acquiring the company in 2022, though Trump has only posted once since then.

Musk donates ‘sizable amount’ to pro-Trump super PAC – US media report
This was before the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.
[IsraelTimes] Billionaire Elon Musk has donated to a super PAC working to elect former US president Donald Trump
...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...
, Bloomberg reports, citing sources.

The report does not indicate how much Musk donated, but says "a sizable amount" was given to a group called America PAC.

There is no response in the report from Musk, Trump or America PAC.

A front man for US President Joe The Big Guy Biden

cited in the report says, "Elon knows Trump is a sucker who will sell America out, cutting his taxes while raising taxes on the middle class by $2,500."

Bloomberg also quotes anonymous sources as saying that Republican billionaires Ken Griffin and Paul Singer, both of whom have criticized Trump in the past, have met with the presidential hopeful to discuss donating to his campaign.

UNRWA director says enough funds donated to keep running until end of September
[IsraelTimes] The head of the United Nations
...an idea whose time has gone...
agency for Paleostinian refugees says a donors conference has raised enough money to keep its operations in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
, the West Bank, Jordan, Syria and Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
running until the end of September.

Philippe Lazzarini told the pledging conference at its opening yesterday morning that UNRWA only had funds until the end of August.

At the end of the conference, he tells news hounds the total amount in pledges won’t be known until the following week. But he says he is confident there will be enough new money in its $850 million annual budget to keep the agency running for another month and pay its 30,000 staff who provide education, primary health care and other development activities to about 6 million Paleostinian refugees.
Another whole month? Be still my heart.
UNRWA has been tight on funds since Israel alleged that 12 of the agency’s 13,000 workers in Gaza participated in Hamas
..always the voice of sweet reason...
’s October 7 massacre in southern Israel that sparked the ongoing war in Gaza. The agency terminated the contracts of all those employees. Still, 16 countries suspended funding UNRWA, amounting to about $450 million.

Israel has long accused UNRWA of funneling money into Hamas’s coffers and letting the terror group use the agency’s facilities. The IDF has found a Hamas data center located directly beneath UNRWA headquarters in Gaza City, in addition to numerous findings indicating the use of the agency’s assets for terror purposes.

Lazzarini tells news hounds that 14 donors have officially resumed funding and he believes "very soon" a 15th country — the United Kingdom — will come back.

The United States, which was the biggest donor to UNRWA, providing the agency with $340 million in 2022 and several hundred million in 2023, was among the countries halting funding. The US Congress has prohibited any payments to UNRWA until March 25, 2025.

[GEO.TV] Israel's claim that it was targeting Hamas leaders in an airstrike in Gaza on Saturday was "false", Hamas said in a statement.

"It's not the first time Israel claims to target Palestinian leaders, only to be proven false later," Hamas said.

The airstrike in the southern city of Khan Younis killed at least 71 Palestinians and injured 289, the enclave's health ministry said.

Israel's military said it was targeting Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif.

'No safe place': Gazans race to collect wounded after Israeli strike
[GEO.TV] Israel had declared Al-Mawasi a safe zone as it pushed into Rafah near the Egyptian border, but on Saturday Palestinians raced to collect the dozens of casualties from the army's latest strike.

Sirens wailed and women screamed as children were pulled out of the wreckage and rushed to nearby hospitals following the strike on a displacement camp.

"What did we do? What did we do? We were only sitting near the beach," one woman from the coastal town cried.
What did you do? Your elected leaders started a vicious war against Israel, and none of you stopped them. Nothing like this was happening on October 6th.

Western anti-Russian sanctions could lead to de-dollarization
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Western sanctions against Russia have reduced the attractiveness of the US dollar as a global currency. This was reported on July 12 by Asia Times, citing a forecast by US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.

"The exceptional measures taken by the US and its allies against Russia have thrown major reserve-holding countries into disarray," she said.

Yellen also acknowledged that while the countries of the Global South cannot completely abandon the dollar, most of them no longer want to work with it. According to the head of the US Treasury, this is facilitated by the policy of weakening the American currency, which is being carried out by the interstate association BRICS.

As the author of the publication noted, the decision of US President Joe Biden's team to freeze part of Russia's foreign exchange reserves turned out to be similar to crossing a red line for many investors, and the current situation shows that Yellen is right to fear de-dollarization, since this process has already been launched.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, on July 9, Newsweek columnist Adam Gallagher wrote that the meeting of the BRICS foreign ministers and its partners held in June indicates growing dissatisfaction with US policy in the world. At the same time, he pointed out the particular danger to Washington's interests from the de-dollarization proposed by the organization, since following the meeting, its participants spoke in favor of wider use of national currencies in settlements.

On July 7, Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov noted that a single currency will not be created in the BRICS space in the near future, but the movement towards its creation is obvious. The diplomat specified that the participants of the association are striving to create a financial system that is not dependent on any dominant third party.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on May 17 that the American authorities themselves are undermining the trust of other countries in the dollar and its role as the world's reserve currency. The head of state called this terrible stupidity.

Sachs Accuses US Democratic Party of Attempting Coup
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] American billionaire and supporter of former US President Donald Trump David Sachs accused the Democratic Party elite, who are planning to exclude Joe Biden from the election race, of attempting to organize a coup d'état.

"A group of party officials are planning to remove him [Biden] on the grounds that he cannot win. This is a coup against the president," Sachs wrote on his X social media page on July 12.

According to Fox News, the businessman made this statement a few hours after the Axios portal published a report stating that American Democratic officials who served in the Barack Obama and Bill Clinton administrations were looking for an opportunity to convince Biden to drop out of the election race. It was noted that the number of opponents of the current president is only growing every day, and the Democrats are afraid of becoming obvious outsiders.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, earlier the American publication The New York Times reported that a number of major donors to the Democratic Party had frozen donations totaling about $90 million and demanded that Joe Biden announce his withdrawal from the election race. The article also noted that after the debates with Donald Trump, the public began to follow the speeches of the American president more closely. The disappointment of supporters of the Democratic Party has increased against the backdrop of Biden's recent incoherent speeches, including those made at the NATO summit in Washington. In addition, it was reported that some advisers from his inner circle also intend to try to convince Biden to leave the election campaign .

However, according to Donald Trump, the current president will compete with him in the upcoming elections, unlike US Vice President Kamala Harris, who could replace Biden if he refuses to participate in the elections.

Former Pentagon Adviser McGregor Calls on Biden to Resign Immediately

US President Joseph Biden's slips of the tongue at the NATO summit in Washington are a sure sign that it is time for the politician to immediately leave his post. This statement was made on July 12 by former Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas MacGregor on the YouTube channel of the organization Our Country Our Choice.

"Mr. President, for the sake of our country, I ask you to resign immediately. I know this is a difficult decision, but it is also the right one," McGregor addressed the head of the White House.

As the officer explained, the people who allow Biden to work are in fact using an elderly man with obvious health problems for their own selfish political purposes. McGregor pointed out that a sick person leading the United States is a direct threat to the country's security. Colonel McGregor believes that the president's constant mistakes are a sign of his steadily deteriorating cognitive skills.

"Every day President Biden takes office brings with it a greater threat to the security and stability of our nation. The country is in danger," McGregor warned.

In addition, the former Pentagon adviser recalled that abuse of the elderly is prosecuted by law in several states.

Earlier, Regnum News Agency reported that EU countries began seeking contacts with former White House chief Donald Trump after current US leader Biden confused the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, with Russian President Vladimir Putin in his speech .

In turn, Telegraph editor Tony Diver pointed out that US President Biden's misspellings of names during his speech at the NATO summit had caused indignation among Democrats. Diver suggested that Biden's mistakes would cause even more Democrats to refuse to support him in the election race.

A number of major donors to the Democratic Party have frozen donations totaling about $90 million and demanded that incumbent US President Biden withdraw from the election race.

Freed Russian Kozlov Speaks of Torture in Hamas Captivity
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Militants from the radical Palestinian movement Hamas constantly beat hostages captured during the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023,Russian Andrei Kozlov, recently released from captivity, told The Wall Street Journal.

According to Kozlov, first his hands were tied with a rope, then they were chained. With each passing day, the man lost hope of being saved.

Recalling the details of his stay, the man said that the prisoners were placed on dirty mattresses, and in the heat, blankets were thrown over them. People were also forbidden to approach the windows so as not to be seen by neighbors, the publication writes, citing Kozlov.

According to the man, the "most brutal guard" sometimes allowed him to watch TV, but then his mood changed and he would threaten to kill him. Kozlov claims that he recognized the guard as journalist Abdullah al-Jamal, who is associated with Hamas. The hostages were held by him from October to March, and were later moved to the house of the journalist's father.

The Israeli military was able to free the Russian and three other hostages from captivity on June 8. IDF soldiers entered the apartment on the third floor of the residential building. The Palestinian journalist was then liquidated.

The Russian appealed to Israel to negotiate a prisoner exchange, since the military had only saved six people. Other attempts had failed.

As reported by Regnum news agency, on June 11, the Hamas leadership promised to release two other Russians held in the Gaza Strip if there was a ceasefire in the Palestinian enclave.

On June 8, Kozlov, who was released from captivity, almost burst into tears at a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu . The Israeli prime minister posted a corresponding video on his Telegram channel on June 8. The next day, his parents flew from St. Petersburg to meet their son . Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, they were taken to the Sheba Medical Center, where Kozlov and other rescued hostages were already located.

The Palestinian-Israeli conflict escalated on October 7, when Hamas launched a massive rocket attack on Israel and captured several settlements. During the attack, the militants also attacked a music festival in southern Israel. The Guardian later reported that at least 260 bodies were found after the attack on the festival. Israel launched retaliatory strikes on the Gaza Strip and regained control over it.

On October 8, the Israeli authorities declared the country in a state of war. This was followed by a large-scale ground operation by the IDF in the Gaza Strip at the end of October. However, the IDF also began to strike civilian targets. Thus, on October 31, the army struck the Jabaliya refugee camp. According to the Gaza Strip Interior Ministry, about 400 people were killed and injured in the strike .

According to the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini, as of April 2024, more than 34,000 people have died
…interesting that the Regnum reporter is ignoring Hamas number updates for about the past three months…
in the war in the Gaza Strip in six months, including about 13,000 children. More children have died in Gaza in six months than in all the conflicts in the world over the past four years, the head of UNRWA added.

Netizens support protest of North Caucasus muftis against niqab ban
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The Coordination Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus has appealed to the President of Russia and the State Duma with a request not to adopt the bill of its vice-speaker Vladislav Davankov on the ban on religious clothing. The muftis of the North Caucasus stated that this decision violates the rights of believers. Commentators on the social network supported their appeal, noting that Davankov's initiative has already caused a split in society.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Vladislav Davankov proposed to give educational institutions the right to ban the wearing of religious clothing, as well as to empower legislative and municipal assemblies to introduce a ban on wearing religious clothing in public places. State Duma deputies from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Mikhail Matveyev and Sergei Obukhov also prepared a bill that proposes introducing fines for wearing  clothing that conceals the face in public places.

On June 23, Trinity Day, which is one of the main Christian holidays, militants attacked synagogues and an Orthodox church in Derbent and Makhachkala. After this, the clergy of the North Caucasus republics recommended introducing restrictions on wearing religious clothing. Mufti of Dagestan Akhmad-Afandi Abdullaev announced a fatwa banning the niqab.

Clergy complain to Putin about violation of believers' rights

The Coordination Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus (CCMC) stated that if Vladislav Davankov's bill banning the wearing of religious clothing is adopted, it will be a violation of Muslim rights. The clergy emphasized that the ban is unacceptable and will lead to a split in society.

The statement of the KCMSC, addressed to the President of Russia and the Chairman of the State Duma, was published on July 8 in the Telegram channel "Islam in the North Caucasus".

"We ask you to pay attention to the fact that with his project Mr. Davankov is not just trying to deprive Russian citizens of the right to fully comply with religious norms, but is also conducting openly anti-Islamic activities. In his project, he repeatedly touches upon the Islamic religion and only the Islamic religion, speaks of examples of banning Islamic clothing, and points not only to the niqab (the KCMSC has already expressed its official opinion on the inappropriateness of wearing it in modern conditions), but also tries to denigrate and ban both the hijab, which is mandatory for Muslim women, and any religious clothing," the statement says.

Davankov refers to the Constitution, which states that the Russian Federation is a secular state and that no religion can be established as a state or mandatory one. However, the Constitution also states: "The Russian Federation, united by a thousand-year history, preserving the memory of ancestors who passed on to us ideals and faith in God..." In addition, the Russian anthem contains the words "Our native land protected by God," the Coordination Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus noted.

Davankov noted that the secular nature of education ensures equality for students, and that this helps prevent discrimination based on religious or cultural grounds. But he himself suggests banning religious clothing for Muslims. This is precisely discrimination, noted the KCMSC.

Arguments about national security in the context of educational institutions are also untenable, since not a single terrorist attack by Muslim girls wearing hijabs has been committed in educational institutions. Instead of fighting religious clothing, Davankov should direct his efforts to improving the education of young people and supporting the special military operation in Ukraine, the statement said.

"It is absolutely forbidden to prohibit or restrict mandatory religious clothing for Muslim women, including in educational institutions, under the pretext of adopting a single secular uniform by local act. It would be absolutely wrong to allow educational institutions to regulate students' clothing by local regulations. This is the path to division. <…> We ask that such anti-state and anti-religious initiatives not be allowed to be adopted," the KCMSC stated.

As of 12:00 Moscow time, there are no comments on the Kremlin and State Duma websites regarding the appeal of the Coordination Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus.

Russians are active in a new direction - Ukrainian General Staff
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively "minus" the occupiers.

The enemy attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenses near Urozhayne, Makarov, Konstantinovka and Velyka Novosilka.

Russian aggressors have stepped up attacks in the Vremivsk direction. In total, 109 battles took place on the front, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report on Saturday, July 13.

"Russian occupiers have significantly increased their activity in the Vremivsk direction . Here, the enemy tried to break through the Ukrainian defense at Urozhayne, Makarov, Konstantinovka and Velyka Novosilka. Ukrainian defenders have repelled 16 Russian assaults, and another enemy attack is ongoing in the Vodyane area," the report says.

In the Kharkov direction, the enemy attacked the defensive lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 13 times near Vovchansk and Glubokoe. Our soldiers repelled 10 attacks, and three more are ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russians organized 11 assaults near Sinkovka, Olshana, Petrovpavlovka, Novoselovka, Berestovaya and Stelmakhovka. Four battles have ended, seven more are ongoing. The greatest concentration of enemy efforts is observed in the Berestova area.

In the Liman direction, the invaders attacked 15 times near Makeyevka, Grekovka and Terny. Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 assaults, and five more are ongoing.

In the Seversky direction, four enemy attacks have been repelled near Belogorovka and Verkhnekamenskoye. Three more clashes continue in the areas of Razdolovka and Spornoye.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders carried out assaults six times near Chasovy Yar, Grigoryevka, Andreyevka and Kleshchievka. Three battles have already ended.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked seven times near Severny, Toretsky and New York. Another battle continues.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the Russians have made the greatest number of attempts to push back our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Kalinovo, Progress, Novoselovka Pervaya, Lozovatskoye, Novoalexandrovka and Yasnobrodovka.

"The defense forces are holding back the enemy's onslaught and have repelled 17 attacks, seven combat clashes are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified," the General Staff noted.

In the Kurakhovsky direction, the enemy attacked nine times near Krasnogorovka, Konstantinovka and Pobeda. Seven battles have been completed, two are ongoing.

In other areas the situation has not undergone any significant changes.

As is known, in recent months the Russians have been continuously attacking in Donbass and gradually pushing through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Since May 10, Russia has opened a new front in the Kharkov region . After initial successes, the Russian troops suffered heavy losses and "got bogged down" in Vovchansk.

Nothing happened. At that moment, when we said that there would be an attack from the north, everyone immediately thought: maybe it won't happen? It will! It's already happening."

When asked whether he was talking about the Sumy or Chernigov direction, Budanov replied: "If I start answering this question, you and I will only provoke panic... Let's put it this way: there are problems, they have a tendency to worsen... I already told someone from the Western press: I won't have much good news this year, unfortunately."

Embattled FDNY boss Laura Kavanagh to quit
[NYPOST] Embattled FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanagh is quitting her $243,171-a-year post, she told The Post Saturday.

The stunning development comes amid a slew of controversies that left some members of Mayor Adams’ administration questioning her ability to lead the country’s largest fire department.

Kavanagh, who Adams tapped as the city’s first female fire commissioner in 2022, said in an email to The Post she feels it’s "time for me to pass the torch" and explore other career opportunities. She plans to stay on the job for now and help pick a replacement, Kavanagh wrote.

"My dedication to the FDNY has never and will never waver," she wrote. "It has been the honor of a lifetime to devote the last 10 years — five as first deputy commissioner and more than two as commissioner — to advocating for the men and women of the FDNY.

BLM Banned New Coal Leases in Powder River Basin
[National Mining Association, May 16, 2024] The National Mining Association (NMA) today issued the following comments from Rich Nolan, NMA president and CEO, on the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) decision to ban new coal leasing in the Powder River Basin.
Wyoming, produced over 200 million tons of coal in 2022, almost all used to generate electricity.
"At a time of deteriorating grid reliability, soaring electricity demand and ongoing concern about global energy shocks, proposing a plan of no new coal leasing in the Powder River Basin is outrageous. This damages American energy security and affordability and is a severe economic blow to mining states and communities. The NMA strongly opposes this political move, not only because it ignores the nation’s continued need for federal coal but because it also fails to acknowledge BLM’s multiple use mandate under the Federal Land Policy and Management Act."
So it's probably illegal, as well as stoopid. How ya gonna power all those charging stations, Pete?

NASA's James Webb Telescope Captures Unusual Space Object
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] A photograph of two galaxies, NGC 2936 and NGC 2937, in the shape of a penguin with an egg, taken by the James Webb Space Telescope, was published by NASA on July 12 in the telescope's official account on the social network X.

"Penguins are great parents, even in space. <…> This new Webb image shows two galaxies: Penguin (NGC 2936) and the Egg (NGC 2937). <…> They are in a cosmic embrace, connected by a bluish haze of stars and gases," the caption to the photo explains.

In addition, the publication says that the "egg" and "penguin" have been approaching each other for tens of millions of years and will eventually merge into one galaxy. At the moment, the distance between NGC 2936 and NGC 2937 is 25 times smaller than between the Milky Way and the Andromeda galaxy, which is closest to it.

NASA timed the publication to coincide with the second anniversary of the first images taken by the James Webb Space Telescope. To date, it is the largest and most powerful telescope ever launched by humanity. The telescope is an orbiting infrared observatory, it was launched on December 25, 2021, and its first scientific research began in the summer of 2022.

#1  From a WaPo story posted at MSM.com -

The processes of star formation and the assemblage of galaxies were faster, more efficient or just different from what theorists had assumed.

This is how science is supposed to work: A new instrument with a novel way of looking at nature puts hard data where previously there had been only theories, computer models and notions.

Except, of course, as the WaPo knows - where the science is settled.

-Land of the Free
Candace Owens is a cautionary tale about platforming ignorance
[JNS] ...Owens’s latest bid for publicity involves her embrace of Holocaust denial in which she uses her popular videos and X posts to speak as if the horrors of Auschwitz, including the bestial medical experiments of Dr. Josef Mengele, is mere "propaganda." On top of that, she has the chutzpah to speak of the Germans as if they were the true victims of World War II and that the Allies who defeated Adolf Hitler’s Nazi regime were the true axis of evil.

...Still, I think it’s important to note her journey from populist conservative talker to conspiracy theorist to full-blown lunatic Jew-hater. This story deserves to be understood not just because what she says is terrible—though it certainly is—but because Owens is a cautionary tale of how articulate, yet also utterly ignorant and completely unprincipled people can be platformed by serious outlets without them having a full understanding of the sort of person they’re employing. It’s also a commentary on how once you start buying into conspiracy theories, the rabbit hole of antisemitism can become an irresistible temptation.

In examining her career, there is no foolproof way to ensure that credible people, especially journalists, public intellectuals and responsible activist groups, don’t wind up enabling the rise of such bad actors. And it is also true that the descent into extremism can happen just as easily on the left as on the right. We should also acknowledge that left-wing extremists currently have more influence on U.S. politics via their grip on the activist wing of the Democratic Party than antisemites like Owens have on the Republicans. Nevertheless, some things can be learned from her story that involve the need to be cautious about platforming new voices, as well as acting quickly to shut them down once it becomes clear that they are not who everyone thought they were.
Maybe, just maybe, US Jews should stop desperately seeking approval from "African-Americans"?
IMO, the problem of "African-Americans" is a serious one - and been, vastly, exacerbated by DEI.

Ms Owens — the honourable Mrs. George Farmer since her marriage in 2019 to the conservative head of Parler and Turning Point UK, son of businessman, Conservative politician, and life peer Baron Michael Farmer — has expressed opinions all over the map on many subjects. Whether it is fair to say that her opinions change to please or shock her listeners at the moment, I couldn’t say.

-War on Police-
Police officer clinging to speeding car shoots fleeing suspect dead, with terrified child in passenger seat
[FoxNews] Wild bodycam footage has been released showing the moment a police officer, clinging to a speeding car, shoots a fleeing suspect dead while a terrified child screams in the passenger seat.

The shocking video, released by the Buffalo Police Department in New York on Thursday, captured Officer Ronald Ammerman pulling over 25-year-old Dae’von Roberts for speeding just after midnight Wednesday on Kingston Avenue before the suspect hit the gas in a desperate attempt to getaway from law enforcement.

Ammerman is seen clinging onto the car for dear life, pleading with Roberts to stop, saying, "You’re gonna kill me, bro," as a 6-year-old boy screams in horror.

As the car speeds away for about 20 seconds, Ammerman fires off several shots as they both tumble to the ground.

"Shots fired! There’s a kid in the car still. He tried killing me," Ammerman shouts into his radio.

Ammerman then rushes over to check on the child, who was uninjured, and grabs hold of him until back up arrives.

Roberts was confirmed dead at a local hospital. A gun was later found inside the vehicle, police said.

Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said he backed Ammerman’s actions to defend himself from imminent danger.

At the beginning of the video, Ammerman approaches the driver’s side of the car and tells Roberts he is being pulled over for excessive speed and for having tinted windows.

Ammerman asks Roberts to pull down the rear tinted window, which he does, revealing a child's car seat and a 6-year-old boy in the front passenger seat without a seat belt on. Roberts refers to the child as his "little cousin" and "his nephew" and says he is on the way to dropping him home.

Ammerman then asks Roberts to provide identification, to which he agrees, showing him an out-of-state ID on his phone. Roberts tells Ammerman he is from Georgia and was driving his sister’s vehicle.

However, after checking the ID, Ammerman found the ID was invalid and that Roberts did not have a license in either state.

Ammerman, who has been with the department for seven and a half years, then told Roberts that police would do a different search for his name before the officer appeared to reach into the car and open the door.

That was when Roberts put his foot down and sped off – with Ammerman anxiously clinging onto the door.

In April, Roberts was charged in relation to an alleged shots-fired incident at a memorial for his half-brother Jaylen Griffin, whose body was found at a South Buffalo home in April after he went missing in August 2020, WIVB News 4 reports.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Russian troops execute Ukrainian POWs
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Chilling evidence has emerged of the brutal execution of two Ukrainian prisoners of war held by Vladimir Putin's troops.

Graphic drone footage appears to clearly show grotesque war crimes carried out by a Russian regiment known for previous atrocities.

Two surrendering Ukrainian PoWs cowering in a trench are killed in a hail of nine shots fired by Putin soldiers near Robotyne in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region.

The apparent cold-blooded killings are believed to have happened last month, but the footage has only now appeared.

Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office has started a criminal investigation into the flouting of the rules of war and premeditated murder by invading Russian troops.

Geagea: Situation in Lebanon can't wait for settlement in Gaza

The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? Geagea also reiterated that "activating the southern front was a major sin and not a mistake."

Accordingly, Geagea called on "centrist MPs" to "shoulder their responsibilities and contribute to the election of a president in an instant manner," emphasizing that "this step is the only way to exit the current crisis."

[IsraelTimes] None hurt after sirens sound in southernmost Israeli town; IDF says troops in Rafah destroy tunnel shafts and kill multiple gunmen

Israeli fighter jets carried out an Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
Friday night on a depot in the Rafah area storing paragliders used by Hamas
..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
in its October 7 attacks in southern Israel, the Israel Defense Forces said.

Several paragliders were used by bandidos forces of Evil as Hamas launched its surprise attack on southern communities from the land, air and sea. Terrorists on paragliders were among those that attacked the Supernova music festival in Re’im, where over 300 revelers were murdered.

In the days and weeks following the attack, the paraglider became a symbol of Hamas supporters around the world, who emblazoned it on placards and clothing.

In a statement, the military added that troops from the IDF’s 162nd Division were continuing to operate in Rafah, destroying several tunnel shafts and killing multiple button men in the past 24 hours.

Amid the fighting in Rafah, soldiers from the Nahal Brigade called in an airstrike to eliminate a cell of three button men who fired an RPG at them from a tunnel shaft, the IDF said.

Meanwhile the army said it was continuing an operation in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. City, where over the past day troops killed several button men in close-quarters combat and in airstrikes.

The Hamas-run Gaza’s civil defense agency said it found around 60 bodies after Israeli troops withdrew from parts of the city on Friday. The bodies were found in the Tal al-Hawa and al-Sinaa districts, the civil defense agency said. Israeli forces had moved into the neighborhoods this week after ordering civilians to evacuate on Monday.

"There are still missing people under the rubble of destroyed homes, which is difficult for our crews to reach," agency front man Mahmud Bassal said.

The IDF says it has killed numerous button men in the fighting, and there was no information from Hamas on the identities of those killed. Residents and the agency said Israeli troops had pulled out after days of fighting with button men.

Also on Friday night, Eilat residents were sent running to shelters as warning sirens signaled a possible attack. The military said air defense systems and fighter jets intercepted a pair of "suspicious aerial targets that were heading toward Israeli territory from the east," terminology it has previously used to refer to drone attacks by Iran-backed militias in Iraq and Syria.

The IDF said the sirens were activated due to concerns about falling debris from the interceptors, adding that there were no injuries.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

Friday saw the military announce the killing of two high-ranking Hamas commanders: Ayman Shweidah, the deputy commander of Hamas’s Shejaiya Battalion; and Hossam Mansour, a department head in Hamas’s internal security forces in the Gaza Strip.

According to the IDF, Shweidah had carried out numerous attacks on troops in Gaza, and was involved in the planning and execution of the October 7 onslaught. Mansour "played a significant and continuous part in the preservation and presence of Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip," and also served in the terror group’s military wing, the army said. He was a director of al-Khair, which the IDF charged transferred funds to terror groups in Gaza "under the guise of humanitarian activity."

Friday also saw troops locate weapons and a command room used by Hamas at UNRWA’s headquarters in Gaza City, the army said on Friday. The troops had raided the compound earlier this week as part of a new operation carried out by the 99th Division in western and southern neighborhoods of Gaza City.

The UNRWA headquarters had not been in use in recent months. It is not clear when Hamas began using the facility. The IDF raided the compound earlier this year, discovering a major Hamas tunnel network that passed beneath it.

Israel has long accused UNRWA, the United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
agency for Paleostinian refugees, of funneling money into Hamas’s coffers and letting the terror group use the agency’s facilities.

They contain strategic intelligence in even just the construction techniques, HVAC and light/comms wiring techniques can point to sympathetic sourcing.

The development came hours after a district and sessions court in Islamabad acquitted the former premier and his spouse in the iddat case — also known as the un-Islamic nikah case — which was the last hurdle in the couple's release from jail.

The court accepted the couple's pleas seeking annulment of their conviction in the iddat case. Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka announced short order reserved earlier in the day.

Khan and Bushra were sentenced to seven years in prison and awarded a fine of Rs500,000 each, in February earlier this year after a trial court found their nikah to be fraudulent as Khawar Maneka, Bushra's ex-husband, moved the court against the couple's marriage.

Richard Simmons, austere fitness guru who mixed laughs and sweat, dies at 76
NEW YORK (AP) — Richard Simmons, television’s hyperactive court jester of physical fitness who built a mini-empire in his trademark tank tops and short shorts by urging the overweight to exercise and eat better, died Saturday. He turned 76 on Friday.

Los Angeles police and fire departments say they responded to a Los Angeles house where a man was declared dead from natural causes. Neither provided a name, but The Associated Press matched the address and age to Simmons through public records.

Don't Wait for Home Prices to Go Down - Experts
[Epoch Times] As the seller’s market persists throughout most of the United States, prices continue to rise and affordable housing appears to be slipping through the fingers of the average American. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reported the highest ever national median sales price of $419,300 for a single-family home in May.

"We’re actually forecasting that home prices will continue to grow based on the lack of inventory and demand for home ownership," Jessica Lautz, NAR deputy chief economist and vice president of research, told The Epoch Times.
See apparently conflicting 'sales down, inventory up', for May, below.
A $400,000 price tag translates to a $40,000 down payment—with the usual requirement of 10 percent of the home cost. "That’s a lot of money for first-time homebuyers, which means sometimes they may have to borrow from parents or friends to make it happen," Ms. Lautz said.

NAR reported that May’s existing home sales dropped 2.8 percent from one year ago while inventory of unsold existing homes grew 6.7 percent from the previous month.

First-time homebuyers are waiting longer to purchase homes. Last year the median age for these buyers was 35. Some of them are still waiting for either prices or mortgage rates to fall, but Ms. Lautz believes rates may stay between 6—7 percent through the end of the year.

US-British Warplanes Launch Heavy Retaliatory Attacks On Yemen
[ZH] US and UK warplanes launched several airstrikes on Hodeidah International Airport in western Yemen in the overnight and early Friday hours. "US—British aircraft targeted Hodeidah International Airport with three raids," a security source told Yemen’s SABA news agency.

The renewed attacks came after several prior US—UK attacks on Yemen Thursday. "American and British fighter jets launched five raids on various Ansarallah sites in the Ras Issa area, which includes an oil berth affiliated with the port of Al-Salif, north of Hodeidah," a local source in the western Hodeidah province told Sputnik Thursday.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) said shortly after midnight on Thursday that it destroyed five uncrewed vessels and three drones belonging to the Houthis in the Red Sea and in "a Houthi controlled area of Yemen."

Yemen has imposed a naval blockade on all ships delivering goods to Israeli ports in the Red Sea, Arab Sea, Gulf of Aden, the Indian Ocean, and the Mediterranean — in support of Palestinians in Gaza. It also recently expanded its campaign to include joint operations with the Iraqi resistance.

Ansarallah and the Armed Forces of Yemen’s Sanaa government, which are merged with one another, have also been striking US and British warships in response to a violent and acampaign of airstrikes launched by Washington and London against Yemen in January.

Ansarallah leader Abdel al-Malik al-Houthi said in a speech on Thursday that 57 people have been killed and 87 wounded in 570 airstrikes carried out by the US and UK against Yemen since the start of the western campaign.

The Yemeni army has vowed not to stop its operations until the war in Gaza comes to an end. US and UK warplanes had also carried out intense airstrikes targeting several Yemeni provinces on May 30, destroying civilian infrastructure, killing 16 people, and injuring 41 more.

Yemen responded by targeting Washington’s USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier in the Red Sea. The renowned aircraft carrier was allegedly struck by Yemeni forces two more times in the days that followed. Uh huh. Right

The western campaign has done nothing to deter the Yemenis. US and EU maritime task forces have failed to progress in preventing attacks on ships, which have strained both the Israeli economy and international shipping as a whole.

Russian corvette 'Sovershenny' conducts training together with a detachment of Chinese ships
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Russian and Chinese ships in the Philippine Sea conducted practical artillery and simulated missile firing at sea targets. This was reported on July 13 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The corvette Sovershenny of the Russian Pacific Fleet and a detachment of PLA Navy warships, which included the destroyer Yinchuan, the frigate Hengshui and the universal supply transport Weishanhu, participated in the training on the use of standard systems. As part of the maneuvers, the ships fired artillery mounts at floating targets.

The training took place during a joint Russian-Chinese patrol in the Asia-Pacific region (APR). The purpose of these actions was to strengthen naval cooperation between the Russian Federation and China, maintain peace and stability in the region, as well as protect facilities and monitor the sea area.

The first patrol of the Russian and Chinese naval forces took place in 2021.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, in August 2023, Russian and Chinese ships repelled an air raid by a mock enemy during a joint patrol in the Pacific Ocean. The military conducted special exercises involving aircraft and helicopters.

In March, the naval exercises "Maritime Security Belt - 2024" began in the northern part of the Indian Ocean with the participation of Iran, Russia and China. Representatives of the armed forces of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Oman, Pakistan and South Africa were also invited to the maneuvers.

On April 21, Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Alexander Moiseyev and PLA Navy Commander Hu Zhongming signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the Field of Search and Rescue at Sea. They held a meeting in China, during which they discussed a wide range of issues related to cooperation between the two countries in the naval sphere.

Avdeevka direction: battles in the vicinity of Novoalexandrovka, successes near Evgenovka and Novoselovka Pervaya

In the Avdeevka direction, fighting continues in the vicinity of Novoalexandrovka, with support from which Russian troops are advancing on Lozovatskoye and Vozdvizhenka. To the south, fighting is underway for forest belts along the Ocheretino-Progress railway.

In addition, Russian troops finally broke through the enemy's defenses in Yevgenovka after taking Voskhod and advanced through several forest belts to the west in the direction of Volchye and the Volchya River. According to the most optimistic reports, the advance groups managed to reach the shore directly, but this information has not yet been confirmed.

Fighting continues on the outskirts of Novoselovka Pervaya. This is the last major settlement in this area to the east of Vovchya, and then the enemy will try to hold it to the last, even taking into account the Russian troops that have now reached at least the outskirts of the village.

Meanwhile, in the Yasnobrodovka area, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing in several forest belts both to the north and south of the settlement. The village itself, despite statements about full control, still remains in the gray zone. And in the plantings to the west, the enemy remains present, even taking into account the fighting in the area of ??the dachas near the Karlovskoye Reservoir a little to the south.

19:11 Around 18.40 Moscow time stopped another attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using an aircraft-type UAV against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation.

A Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region by air defense systems on duty.

18:24 Su-34 launched a Kh-38ML missile strike on a bridge in Kupyansk. According to intelligence information, it was expected that reinforcements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the form of armored vehicles would be deployed along it, after which the decision was made to strike an important transport hub.

17:10 Ocheretino – Novoselovka.

Positiona lmilitary actions on the northern flank of Avdeevka. The position of the Russian Armed Forces in the houses on the eastern outskirts of Novosyolovka 1st is under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Assault units of the Russian Armed Forces were able to advance in the western direction more than 600 meters and reach the eastern part of Novosyolovka 1st.

16:32 In Khar'kov and Odessa arrivals In Khar'kov, as usual, KABs, in Odessa, missile incursions, presumably, the air defense positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit.

15:52 Kherson direction.

It is reported, that this morning the Russian Aerospace Forces aviation carried out operations against the identified enemy positions on the right bank. The 152mm D-20 cannon crew was hit.

15:14 Telegram channel «Fisherman»:

Vrem'yevskoye direction: significant progress in Urozhayny.

In the Vremyevsk direction, Russian troops liberated most of Urozhaynoye after several months of fighting.

Today, footage appeared online of a Russian flag flying over the village administration building, and a little later, a video of a naval infantry flag half a kilometer from the northern outskirts of the village. According to the description, the rest of the village is being cleared.

Given the earlier advance in Staromayorskoye and to the north, the situation in Urozhainoye for the enemy rapidly deteriorated from the moment the ruins of farms were taken, just over a kilometer from the only road to Urozhainoye.

The enemy tried to hold the settlement by transferring personnel and equipment to the north, but was unable to stop the advance of Russian attack aircraft.

Now the Russian units have an open road to Makarovka and further to Bolshaya Novosyolka along the Mokrye Yaly River.

This will require at least partially pulling up the flanks in the fields in the Priyutnoye-Staromayorske area to the west and Urozhaynoye-Novodonetske area to the east.

However, it is difficult to say whether the local offensive will develop into a larger-scale operation. The battles for Staromayorskoye and Urozhainoye lasted for about two and a half months only from the moment of entering the administrative boundaries of the settlements, and they cannot be called simple.

14:33 Kherson direction.

Intelligence units of the 18th Army located UAV crew. Transferred to fire destruction of ODAB-1500 with UMPK.

14:01 RF Armed Forces seriously advanced in Makeyevka, effectively cutting the village into two parts. The enemy admits to losing part of the village center and a number of important defensive positions.

13:17 Enemy in the morning admits the advance of the Russian Armed Forces into the northern part of Urozhaynoye (where the Russian flag was raised in the center yesterday). Also acknowledges the collapse of the defense north of Novosyolka Pervaya and the beginning of fighting on the outskirts of the village. In addition, it confirms the entry of Russian troops into the center of Makeyevka.

12:56 Russian Armed Forces reached the outskirts of the strategically important village of Vozdvizhenka in the DPR.

War correspondents report that if he is released, the Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka highway, which is key for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, will be cut off.

12:25 Urozhainoe released.

Today, the valiant soldiers of the 37th Guards Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, 5th Separate Brigade together with the 40th Guards Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, with the support of the artillery of the 30th Artillery Brigade, captured the settlement of Urozhainoe and hoisted the national flag of the Russian Federation over the administration building. At the moment, the settlement is being cleared of the remnants of Ukrainian formations.

11:29 Paratroopers-UAV operators of the Dnepr group of troops in an hour destroyed more than a dozen enemy vehicles. The operator of the reconnaissance UAV "Zala" discovered a large accumulation of Ukrainian Armed Forces vehicles in one of the settlements on the right bank of the Dnieper. The FPV drone crews of the "winged infantry" launched kamikaze drones at the targets and systematically disabled the entire "automobile fleet" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

10:55 Crews of Su-34 fighter-bombers struck camouflaged enemy equipment and manpower in the area of responsibility of the "West" group of forces. The strike was carried out by unguided OFAB-500 aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module.
