The pair exchanged vows on Saturday at Seacoast Church in Charleston, nearly eight months after the South Carolina senator proposed to Noce, an interior designer, The Post and Courier reported.
"Tonight, we promised to cherish and nourish each other and our marriage for the rest of our lives. Mindy, you’ve made me the happiest man alive. I love you," Scott wrote Saturday on X.
Posting two photos from the ceremony, Scott shared a Bible verse, Matthew 19:6, that read, "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."

You understand this can’t play out like it did in 2008-9. The authorities are out of tricks and out of fake money. They can try the emergency interest rate cut, but it won’t change what is actually happening: the epic revaluation of everything humans make and own — with much of it losing value and quite a bit losing all value because it never really had any. The spooky catch is that there will be an attempt, in this wild and terrifying process, for certain devious, unprincipled parties to take possession of many things shaking loose — what remains of collateral. . . real things. . . commodities. . . facilities. . . properties. . . chattels. . . artworks. . . and, of course, whatever securities still have a relationship to realities of production.
This brings a sharp end to the current political sitcom, especially the situation of the Democratic Party. They will get blamed for the economic carnage left behind by the shattered money system. They lied about everything for years, every number, every index, every supposed “policy”.
Kamala Harris won’t be cackling her way out of this.

[NY Post] Neuralink has successfully implanted in a second patient its device designed to give paralyzed patients the ability to use digital devices by thinking alone, according to the startup’s owner Elon Musk.
Neuralink is in the process of testing its device, which is intended to help people with spinal cord injuries.
The device has allowed the first patient to play video games, browse the internet, post on social media and move a cursor on his laptop.
Musk, in comments made during a podcast released late on Friday that ran more than eight hours, gave few details about the second participant beyond saying the person had a spinal cord injury similar to the first patient, who was paralyzed in a diving accident. Musk said 400 of the implant’s electrodes on the second patient’s brain are working. Neuralink on its website states that its implant uses 1,024 electrodes.
“I don’t want to jinx it but it seems to have gone extremely well with the second implant,” Musk told podcast host Lex Fridman. “There’s a lot of signal, a lot of electrodes. It’s working very well.”

[JustTheNews] Former Trump Advisor Kellyanne Conway is a registered foreign agent of Ukraine as of Friday, according to National Security Division (NSD) filings.
Conway will receive $50,000 per month to lobby U.S. lawmakers on behalf of Ukraine, The Daily Caller reported.
Conway signed the contract with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation to organize meetings between U.S. political leaders and Ukrainian soldiers and veterans.
From 2017 to 2020, Conway was former President Donald Trump's senior counselor.
Conway's work will "contribute to raising awareness among US decision makers of Ukrainians’ fight for freedom and the Russian illegal war of aggression," according to the NSD filings.
Conway's contract began on July 25 and expires on November 14

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers working at the Lukeville, Arizona, recently made what the agency is calling its largest seizure of fentanyl to date. Officers at the port of entry discovered approximately four million blue fentanyl pills weighing more than 1,000 pounds.
The seizure was one of several large fentanyl busts the agency saw during the month of July as part of two special operations targeting fentanyl smuggling and the cartel bosses that move the deadly drug into the United States.
CBP officials said in a statement this week that the record-breaking seizure occurred on July 1 when officers at the Lukeville Port of Entry encountered a 20-year-old United Citizen from Arizona attempting to enter the country from Mexico. The Arizona man was driving a 2011 pick-up truck towing a sport recreational vehicle on a utility trailer, not uncommon at the port due to its proximity to beach recreational areas in Mexico.
Officers decided to perform a more intensive inspection on the vehicle, trailer, and truck at a secondary inspection area. During that search the officers noticed anomalies throughout the frame of the trailer. A K-9 detection team aided in the search that ultimately led to the discovery of 234 packages containing the four million fentanyl pills hidden in the frame of the trailer.
According to CBP, officers at the same port of entry reported that about 270 pounds of methamphetamine were seized several days later. The second seizure occurred on July 12, when a 45-year-old male Mexican citizen driving a 2007 Ford F-150 pick-up truck

also towing a utility trailer sought entry into the U.S. An inspection using a non-intrusive x-ray device and a K-9 inspection team led officers to 39 packages of methamphetamine totaling nearly 272 pounds and an additional five pounds of cocaine.
CBP estimates the street value for these two significant seizures is more than $12.6 million.
These two drug seizures were part of two concerted counter-drug operations, Operation Apollo-Arizona and Operation Plaza Spike. According to the agency, Operation Apollo-Arizona is a counter-fentanyl joint operation focusing on intelligence collection. The operation concentrates law enforcement efforts on disrupting drug and chemical supply, collecting and sharing intelligence, and leveraging valuable partnerships.
Operation Plaza Spike targets the plaza bosses and cartels that facilitate the flow of deadly fentanyl and other illicit synthetic drugs. It is designed to disrupt operations in the “plazas,” cartel territories located directly south of the United States that are natural logistical chokepoints within the cartels’ operations.
According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, in 2022 alone, 107,941 Americans died from drug poisonings, with a staggering 70 percent of those deaths caused by fentanyl and synthetic opioids. Fentanyl remains the leading cause of death among Americans aged 18-45.
In a campaign launched by the DEA known as “One Pill Can Kill,” the agency warned the public its testing concluded that one in seven counterfeit pills marketed by Mexican drug cartels was found to contain a deadly dose of fentanyl.

[Breitbart] Russia became more interested in a prisoner swap with the United States after it became clear that Donald Trump could return to the White House, according to the Wall Street Journal, whose reporter, Evan Gerskovich, was freed.
The Journal noted Saturday that “Moscow’s concerns about a potential Trump presidency speeded up the deal.”
It added:
The German negotiation team was led by the deputy chief of the foreign secret service BND Philipp Wolff, a former prosecutor who joined the intelligence agency in 2007.
Wolff’s team saw an opening when their Russian counterparts said they wanted to wrap up the deal before the U.S. election in November. Some officials deduced that the Russians were either concerned about an unpredictable Donald Trump coming again to the presidency, or they feared that [German Chancellor Olaf] Scholz would no longer be willing to help a president who rarely misses an opportunity to criticize Germany.
At the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee last month, Trump notably said: “And to the entire world, I tell you this, we want our hostages back — and they better be back before I assume office, or you will be paying a very big price.”
Trump has prided himself on freeing Americans held abroad without being forced into lopsided exchanges such as those the Biden administration has accepted — and which, critics say, provide incentives for more hostage-taking in future.
In 2018, Turkey released Ameican pastor Andrew Brunson after Trump threatened to hit the Turkish economy with tough economic sanctions.
Russia may have preferred to negotiate with the more pliant Biden administration, which had shown its willingness in the past to trade valuable, even dangerous, convicts for Americans held abroad.
The Biden prisoner swap still left many Americans behind in Russian prisons, the Journal noted separately.

Bucha's actions were incredible; they included destroying single-handedly a bunker situated forty yards to his front. Throughout the directed helicopter support and evacuation of the wounded. The "clerks and jerks" held out through a long evening until day when they were relieved. 150 enemy were counted among the dead.

[PJ] Barack Obama has been a very busy man in recent weeks. Within hours of Joe Biden's disastrous June 27 debate with Donald Trump. the former Democratic president was working the phones looking to engineer a quick Biden exit.
That was not to be. Biden was within three points of Trump in the national polls and felt that Obama, Pelosi, and the whole gaggle of establishment Democrats were running scared. There were still four months to go before election day, and Biden felt he had time to recover.
He was not to be given that time. Biden was dumped from the ticket and unceremoniously kicked to the curb in favor of a vice president with the lowest approval rating in history.
Kamala Harris has since been transformed. She's no longer the bumbling, fumbling punchline to a political joke. She's the savior of the nation, girding her loins to do battle with the Evil One, Donald Trump.
But just because the media is portraying her as a world-beater doesn't mean anything. She's still a disaster area as a candidate. So Barack Obama has decided to step out from behind the curtain and run the Harris campaign.

The Nikkei had its worst day since 1987, sinking nearly 4,000 points. It suspended trading after sinking nearly eight percent. South Korea’s stock exchange halted all sell orders as a looming wave of brutality is expected to hit Wall Street this morning. NASDAQ futures off 5% as of now and other markets off not much less. That translates into about $4 Trillion loss in market cap.
As for the Federal Reserve, I have some sympathy for them. Biden's fiscal policy was so awful their job was impossible. In retrospect they should have tightened about a year before they did and then should have loosened about 3 months ago. But that is retrospect.

Also FWIW, assuming the wipe out today is not quickly followed by a recovery, it will knock a couple of points off the numbers for the Democratic ticket. This is because the more the voters talk about the economy, the worse it is for the party in power.

30 year old William C.C. Kemp-Neal resigned from the Bronx District Attorney's office after Dads Against Predators posted a video of him in a Target parking lot in Mount Vernon.
In the July 8 footage, vigilantes confront Kemp-Neal, identifying him as "Marcus," causing him to flee. According to the Post, Kemp-Neal, a Fordham Law graduate, earned $84,990 as an ADA, focusing on assault, harassment, and child endangerment cases.
"Excuse me everybody, this man right here came to meet a 13-year-old boy," the vigilantes can be heard yelling, while chasing Kemp-Neal.

Vance as his running mate on the Republican Party's ticket, an influential evangelical Christian from Vance’s home state of Ohio, said in an interview that if Trump is likened to King Cyrus, Vance is akin to David.
"Vance is a rising star with strength and courage like Trump," said Pastor David Swaggerty, a senior pastor at Charismalife Ministries in Columbus. "His youth, integrity and morals will benefit the country and Israel."

meaning that, despite his moral flaws, Trump was chosen by God to serve in the White House. According to Swaggerty, choosing Vance as his running mate could also be divinely inspired — at least for Israel.
"If they get elected — and I believe they will — I think you’ll see a quick strengthening of ties between the U.S. and Israel and more support from the top down, which is a good thing," Swaggerty said.
Vance is a 39-year-old lawyer who has been a U.S. senator representing Ohio since 2022. He studied political science and philosophy at Ohio State University and then earned a law degree from Yale Law School.
As Swaggerty eluded, Vance's pro-Israel stance comes from his Christian faith, although he is not evangelical, but Catholic. The London Jewish Chronicle quoted Vance as saying the fact that Jesus "was born and died and resurrected in that narrow little strip of territory on the Mediterranean" feeds his pro-Israeli ideology. "The idea that there is ever going to be an American foreign policy that doesn’t care a lot about that slice of the world is preposterous," Vance said.

The prob is that Starliner is parked on the one and only docking port. There's a Aug 18 (IIRC) Dragon launch scheduled to bring up the next crew. No place to park.
The previous iteration of Starliner flew itself on autopilot, but the story is that software wasn't loaded on this capsule. (Probably so a Boeing exec could get a bonus for cost saving, but that's a guess.)

The two other cases, earlier confirmed detected on Saturday by the national PEI officials, were from districts Jhal Magsi and Killa Abdullah in Balochistan.
"The Regional Reference Laboratory for Polio Eradication at the National Institute of Health (NIH) Islamabad has confirmed the detection of Type-1 Wild Poliovirus (WPV1) in the stool specimen from a 75-month-old male child from District Chakwal of Punjab province. The child had onset of paralysis on July 16, 2024," the PEI official maintained.
The laboratory confirmed the cases from union council Patri in Jhal Magsi and union council Maizai in Killa Abdullah. A three-year-old child from Jhal Magsi and a 1.5-year-old child from Killa Abdullah have been paralysed by the virus.
The Jhal Magsi case, which showed symptoms on July 5, is linked to a virus strain found in Usta Muhammad. The Killa Abdullah case, symptomatic since June 10, is under genetic analysis, officials in the Polio Eradication Initiative (PEI) of Pakistain said.

The Hebrew newspaper Maariv reported that following the al-Aqsa Storm operation on October 7, the UAE increased its efforts in collaboration with Israel to build a joint military and intelligence base on the occupied Socotra Island in the Arabian Sea, located 350 kilometers south of Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. The UAE sought to gain influence in the Yemeni coastal areas and the country’s south, intending to strengthen its presence at the maritime shipping lines in the Gulf of Aden and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, towards the Horn of Africa.

In an exclusive breaking story, several Federal Air Marshal whistleblowers have come forward with information showing that former U.S. Representative and Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is currently enrolled in the Quiet Skies program. Quiet Skies is a TSA surveillance program with its own compartmentalized suspected terrorist watchlist. It is the same program being weaponized against J6 defendants and their families. Quiet Skies is allegedly used to protect traveling Americans from suspected domestic terrorists. The photo below is a screenshot from the actual Target Package used by the FAMS to surveil Gabbard.
The whistleblowers first shared the information with Sonya LaBosco, the Executive Director of the Air Marshal National Council (AMNC), a national advocacy group for the Federal Air Marshals (FAMs). According to LaBosco, at least one of the whistleblowers is ready to go on the record with pertinent documentation. LaBosco shared that Gabbard is unaware she has two Explosive Detection Canine Teams, one Transportation Security Specialist (explosives), one plainclothes TSA Supervisor, and three Federal Air Marshalls on every flight she boards. LaBosco has attempted to contact Gabbard and her staff but has not received a response.
LaBosco and AMNC President David Londo have repeatedly testified on behalf of FAMS. They have also written countless letters concerning the classification of innocent Americans as domestic terrorists to the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs, the House Homeland Committee, the Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, and the House Oversight Committee.
Because of ongoing whistleblower information, LaBosco believes TSA and Homeland Security are violating citizens’ constitutional rights in a “big domestic surveillance grab” that seems to be targeting conservatives.
UncoverDC broke a story in November 2023 about A.J. Fischer’s infant son, who continues to be enrolled in the program because his father attended the Jan. 6 Capitol protests. J6 attendee Bryan Smith, who served 20 years with unblemished service, is also on the list. So is Christine Crowder, the wife of an active Air Marshal. Crowder was in D.C. on Jan. 6 but did not attend the Capitol protest.

Sounds like a basis for a federal law, if an illegal is deported and returns committing a capital crime, it should invoke a death penalty. Only two factors: 1 was he/she deported? 2 did they commit a capital crime? If the answer to both is yes, no further appeal.
