Two different eras and occupations...

Christine Margaret Keeler was an English model and showgirl. Her meeting at a dance club with society osteopath Stephen Ward drew her into fashionable circles. At the height of the Cold War, she became sexually involved with a married Cabinet minister, John Profumo, as well as with a Soviet naval attaché, Yevgeny Ivanov.Wikipedia

"She was right. Peace was the way."
"She was right. But at the wrong time."
– Kirk and Spock, 1930 ("The City on the Edge of Forever")
Sister Edith Keeler was a female Human social worker in New York City, United States, in the 20th century.

In 1930, she ran a soup kitchen out of the 21st Street Mission. Known for her compassion and forward thinking, she sought to bring peace to the entire planet. That same year, she died in a traffic accident. (TOS: "The City on the Edge of Forever")

Trump, DOJ confirm FBI has raided Mar-A-Lago
[FoxNews] A source familiar told Fox News that the raid occurred early this morning. The source said agents brought a "safe cracker" and cracked a "relatively new" safe in Mar-a-Lago. The source told Fox News there was "nothing in it."
*snicker*
Multiple sources tell Fox News the FBI
...Formerly one of the world's premier criminal investigation organizations, something for a nation to be proud of. Now it's a political arm of the Deep State oligarchy that is willing to trump up charges, suppress evidence, or take out insurance policies come election time...
's raid of Mar-a-Lago is related to the materials Trump allegedly brought to his private residence after his presidency concluded. That matter was referred to the Justice Department by the National Archives and Records Administration, which said it found classified material in 15 boxes at the residence.

Federal law bars the removal of classified documents to unauthorized locations, though it is possible that Trump could try to argue that, as president, he was the ultimate declassification authority.

A source familiar told Fox News that FBI agents went to Mar-a-Lago and looked in every single office, safe, and grabbed documents and boxes without going through them on the property. They took boxes and documents to go through them later.

"They were not being judicious about what they took," the source told Fox News.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, one of many criticizing the raid, called it "an unprecedented political weaponization of the Justice Department."

"They've been after President Trump as a candidate, as President, and now as a former President," Noem tweeted. "Using the criminal justice system in this manner is un-American."

Trump was in New York City when the raid was carried out and is now headed to Bedminster, Fox News has learned. An FBI source confirmed that FBI agents from Washington, D.C. who are on the bureau's Evidence Response Team conducted the raid and notified the Miami Field Office just before.

Per standard protocol, FBI Director Wray and Attorney General Garland were aware of the raid even if shortly before and would have been fully briefed.

A White House official told Fox News it did not have any notice of the reported action and referred all additional questions to the DOJ.

A separate investigation into efforts by Trump allies to undo the results of the 2020 presidential election and the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol has intensified in Washington in recent weeks, particularly with the January 6 congressional committee holding hearings to reveal its findings.

Per sources familiar with the matter, the FBI raid is related to the alleged taking of potential classified information upon leaving Washington on January 2021 — not the January 6th investigation.

#3  Turley on Fox just indicated they were looking for "documents" and removed 15 boxes of them. Trump indicated they opened his safe. This is a fishing expedition using a Corrupt DC Federal Judge to grant so wide-reaching a warrant. The undoubted intent is to try and find some basis for a crime that allows for prosecution of a federal criminal statute. Once that charge is made, Trump can be slow-rolled if they can't convict, to bar him from the 2024 election.

The Magic Kenyan and the Oligarchs have opened a level of political warfare that may well lead to national disaster. Now the entire campaign to create the "threat" from the right makes it clear they needed a meme for the suppressive acts that are coming from this.

Holy Crapo Amendment! Dems Reject Middle Class Protection from Doubled IRS
[PJMedia] In rejecting the Crapo Amendment, Democrats tacitly admitted that their new nuclear-strength IRS has just one job: To wage war on everyone but their rich buddies.

It was a crazy weekend getting Presidentish Joe Biden’s massive Tax & Spend & Regulate bill* through the 50/50 Senate. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) suspended COVID-19 testing rules and kept his superspreader voting event going all hours to ensure passage of the $700 billion boondoggle.

But when asked to include IRS protections for the poor and the middle class, Schumer and every other Democrat voted NO.

Republican Senator Mike Crapo of Idaho offered a very simple amendment to Biden’s $80 billion expansion of the IRS with 87,000 new agents. You might not have read about it in any of your favorite newspapers, and it’s a sure thing the network news ignored the Crapo Amendment completely.

Pay attention to what's happening to Dutch livestock farmers
[American Thinker] The beauty of climate change, if you’re a wannabe totalitarian, is that, because carbon is one of the building blocks of life, if you control carbon, you control everything. To understand how this works, you must pay attention to what is happening in the Netherlands, where the government is planning to seize 20% of livestock farms, all in the name of climate change.

Holland was once a bastion of liberty on a continent that was subject to total monarchal control and riven by religious wars. It wasn’t freedom as we have come to understand it in America but, after they threw off Spanish control, the Dutch allowed faiths other than Calvinism within their borders. There was a reason the Puritans fled there first, although they eventually wanted the complete freedom the New World offered them for practicing their particular Protestantism. That sturdy, self-sufficient, independent, sort-of-free little nation is gone.

Now, livestock farmers are up in arms because they’ve finally realized that their government is about to seize their land, all in pursuit of "nitrogen reduction." We’ve heard about the protests, but Peter of Sweden is the first person I’ve seen who breaks down the numbers and explains what’s really happening (and it’s about power more than "climate change"):

#9  It's all about the control of food.

If you control food, you control humans. Starve them for 24 hours and they'll do anything you want.

They're going to put the farmers out of business and then seize their land. Good luck finding food when the government controls it and rations it out to their supporters. -Short Attention Span Theater-
The TWA 800 Whistleblower Is Legit
[American Thinker] In the past few weeks, I have received numerous inquiries about ten-year Navy veteran William Henry Teele III. After years of quietly providing information to me and other investigators into the July 1996 destruction of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of Long Island, Teele has gone public and is naming names.

I shared some of Teele’s information in my 2016 book, TWA 800: The Crash, The Cover-Up, The Conspiracy. Teele did not claim to be on the ship that fired the missile. He was on the USS Carr, a guided missile frigate that was one of the "combatants" in the battle group that destroyed the unfortunate 747 and killed the 230 souls on board. Everything that I could verify about Teele’s account back then checked out.

In the six years since, Teele has reached out to many of his fellow sailors and fleshed out his account. Although he has appeared on several podcasts in recent weeks, his uninterrupted narrative on the Duke Report is the most compelling. I would welcome those with relevant experience to contact me through my website, cashill.com, to offer your assessment of Teele’s account or to provide additional information. My research suggests Teele is the real deal but I remain open, as all journalists should, to contrary information.

In the way of background, Teele joined the Navy in 1994. In 1996, according to his Navy transcript, he was serving as a "seaman apprentice" receiving advanced training in "specialized Navy occupations." Teele’s training went well enough that in 1998 he was made an "operations specialist," one who, "operates radar and associated equipment; identifies and maintains a display (plot) of the movement of ships, aircraft, missiles, and natural objects detected by observing a radar." In 1999, he was made an instructor.

As to the USS Carr, after undergoing major upgrades in 1995, the ship began a Combat Systems Ship Qualification Test, the goal of which was to certify her newly installed Mk 92 Mod 6 Fire Control System. In early 1996, according to a Navy history site, this testing "ultimately led to two highly successful dual missile firing exercises in the North Puerto Rican Operations area." On July 12, 1996, just five days before disaster, Commander Keith L. Wray took control of the ship. The Carr history then skips from July 12 to November 25, 1996, when the Carr "got underway from Norfolk, Va., with the Theodore Roosevelt Battle Group." The real story is what happened between those dates.

#4  ...There's a word for this, and it rhymes with 'Full Spit." (Beo, let me make clear - what follows isn't aimed at you, but rather the guy who wrote the article.)

So, in 26 years , Mr. Teele is the only person out of the 171 aboard who has spoken up?

A US warship executed a live fire in a heavily traveled area without any kind of notice to mariners or aviators? If so, why?

All of the air traffic controllers who would have seen a missile track have kept their mouths shut?

The deckhands who cleaned up the after effects from the shot never said a word - nor did the folks at Yorktown Naval Weapons Center who would have had to account for and replace a Standard missile?

Oh, and let's look at one of the many available videos of night missile launches from USN ships. ONE shot would have lit up the sky for miles around and left a trail for several seconds afterwards. One of the most heavily trafficked waters on the planet, and no one else saw anything?

Nope. Black market MANPAD.

MANPAD with 7-8 pound head makes the aircraft tear itself up.

#6  I read the book years ago. Certainly, a shoot-down is possible. The navy does point fire control radar at civilian planes and ships for practice. The Saratoga incident in Turkey is an example of how that could go wrong. Silence by an entire crew seems very unlikely. Still, the 2020 election, the Wuhan Lab Leak and the J6 operation is beginning to make me uneasy about calling anything a "conspiracy theory" at the moment. That said, I don't find Jack Cashill to be particularly reliable.

#7  #4 & #5 seem the best fit to my mind.

I have seen some time back a foreign nation sub story with a MANPAD that hinted at the Iranians as payback for the Airbus shootdown years earlier?

James Kallstrom, lead FBI agent in the investigation, has always seemed a genuinely honest guy though...

Those bad boys were BIG. They are also expensive. You don't lose one and write off along with a few items from the site Post Exchange.
A captain signing for a ship with twenty Standard is going to count them twice and if there are nineteen, he's not signing. So it would have to have been replaced with all the attendant paperwork. Including as to why. "Expended" "fell overboard"
There is a line of accountability starting at the factory door. Every time one moves from one echelon to the next, the losing unit WANTS paperwork explaining why they don't have the thing any longer. It's not going to have an empty hole in the racks.
Should be easy to trace.

#13  altitude at time of impact is contentious. Could be within envelope of Stinger or Redeye. Info on improve Strela is mixed but could also fit some of the proposed flight profiles.
I don't think they're using it any longer but at one point, an Army tracked vehicle carried four Sidewinders with additional launch acceleration boosters. No idea if a 'winder's performance from ground launch would have been useful in an AA role. Point is, however, to expand thinking to whatever else is out there beyond a Manpad weighing as much as an 81mm mortar. It doesn't have to be man portable if you have two guys to horse it on to a boat when nobody's watching.
The Feds found a guy who is some kind eye and vision expert to say it's common, when seeing an airplane blow up, to think you saw a streak up from the surface--like some witnesses claimed.
Yeah, common if you're an antiaircraft gunner, I guess.

Feds said there were no frags in passengers' bodies. That would follow if a small warhead struck, say, the cargo bay or the accursed centerline fuel tank. Hell, even an 81mm mortar round is bigger than that. The function of our MANPADs is to put the enemy out of the fight and maybe he doesn't make it home. If the head goes up the tail pipe, the bazillion rpm turbine tears the aircraft apart, ditto hitting some armament. But blowing the thing all over the sky isn't in the program. You have to have the a/c do it to itself with some encouragement. That's a trade-off for the "man portable" thing.

Did read somebody say his brother flew 747 and said none were taken out of service to fix fuel sensors. Maybe that can be done in a couple of minutes, depending on placement. Maybe the brother doesn't exist. Maybe there was but no way now to check on that.

Sunday Talks, SF Fed Chair Sees Half of Inflation Driven by Excess Demand of Some Unknown
[Last Refuge] The great pretending continues. During a Sunday talk show appearance, San Francisco Fed Chair Mary Daley states, "what I see is supply and demand are just unbalanced. About 50% by my own staff’s estimates of the excess inflation we see is related to demand. The other 50% to supply." Note, she is not talking about energy.

Margaret Brennan, maintaining her position as the professional CBS narrative engineer, never thinks to ask: (a) where is this demand you speak of, and what exactly are they demanding? and/or (b) What is this 50% inflation on the supply side connected to? Obviously, an actual probing of inflation wasn’t in the script. The great pretending continues. [Transcript Here]

CTH has stated without reservation that August’s inflation report will show a significant —albeit temporary— drop in inflation as measured by the govt. The drop in gasoline prices throughout July (created by a drop in demand) will allow the fiscal and monetary policy makers to falsely claim overall inflation peaked. However, after a brief respite the inflation now growing in the ground (massive increases in farm costs), will then launch into the food supply chain. This delayed food inflation will overtake the energy inflation in the latter part of this year. WATCH:

Ukraine's Unstoppable Medics | Close Up
[Aljazeera] "There are so many injured people, injured physically and mentally. There is simply no chance for us to stop," says 27-year-old Yana Zinkevych, the founder of Hospitallers, a battalion of volunteer medics in Ukraine.

Yana taught herself tactical first aid when she ditched medical school and joined a unit of volunteer fighters in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine. It was then, while fighting against Russian forces in 2014, that she realised her mission was to help injured comrades.

Today, her battalion is made up of several hundred men and women who provide first aid assistance to wounded soldiers and civilians on Ukraine’s front lines. Yana runs combat first aid courses, trains volunteers in the use of firearms and organises transport to the front lines.

"I organise things, I share my experience, I’m good at it but this is not exactly what I would like to do," says the commander of the Hospitallers Medical Battalion when recounting how she no longer is able to go to the front lines because she is in a wheelchair, paralysed from the waist down.

As the war in Ukraine rages on, our film follows an unstoppable woman and her team of medics as they work tirelessly to protect the injured from the horrors of the war.

[People] Prince William is highlighting a new support network for those on the frontline against the illegal poaching of elephants and rhinos follow a tragedy.

The Duke of Cambridge, 40, issued a plea to help rangers in the wake of the murder of a leading wildlife ranger in South Africa last week.

The Helping Rhinos organization announced last week that Anton Mzimba was shot and killed outside of his home on July 26. "This follows recent death threats and highlights the daily threat facing Rangers," the organization wrote on Twitter.

The following day, conservation campaigner Prince William added his praise for Mzimba, who he had spoken with. "I'm deeply saddened to learn of the killing of Anton Mzimba who I spoke to in November," William wrote. "Committed and brave, rangers like Anton are central to the conservation of Africa's fantastic wildlife. Those responsible must swiftly be brought to justice. My thoughts are with his family."

Accused Men, Women Publically Whipped in Zabul
Forward to the past.
[ToloNews] Information and Culture department head Rahmatullah Hamad said that in Zabul two women and one man were publically whipped for committing adultery and another two men were whipped for robbery.

Earlier, the leader of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada, said that all previous laws will be considered null, and Sharia law will be implemented in the country.

Dozens of locals gathered to watch the public punishment.

"The Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
succeeded. They said in their initial speech that the constitution and other laws of the former government are demolished and Sharia law will be implemented," said Shir Hassan Hassan, a political analyst.

"First of all, Hudud has its own conditions which require an actual witness and a confession that is not forced. I am sure that these two issues have not been observed," said Munisa Mubariz, a human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
activist muppet.

The local officials in Zabul did not allow the press to cover the scene of the punishment, but the Information and Culture Dept head Rahmatullah Hamad said that two men were arrested on charges of robbery and they were given 20 lashes and one month in prison.

"One man and one woman were punished on charges of adultery, the man named (...) was hit 39 times and was sentenced to six years in jail. The woman named (...) was whipped 39 times and sentenced to two years in prison, and a woman named (...) who facilitated the illegitimate relations between the two of them was whipped 20 times and sentenced to six years in prison," he told TOLOnews in a voice message.

"The decision made based on Sharia, it is natural that it will come into effect in Islamic governments," said Bilal Karimi, deputy front man for the Islamic Emirate.

Earlier, the Provincial Governor of Parwan, Obaidullah Ameenzada, said that the leader of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada, ordered to cancel all laws and implement Sharia law in the country.

"He (Islamic Emirate’s Lord High Potentate and Supreme Leader of All He Surveys) said no, there is no difference between the law of Ashraf Ghani
...former chancellor of Kabul University, ex-president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money. When Biden abandoned the country left with a helicopter, four cars, and part of the national treasury...
and Zahir Shan. We don’t accept the law of Zahir Shah and Ashraf Ghani, we want Sharia law," he said.

This is the first time that the individuals are being punished based on Sharia law in public under the current government.

Increasing Security Threats; Taliban Places Restrictions on Ashura Ceremony in Northern Afghanistan
[KhaamaPress] Locals in Mazar-e-Sharif, in Balkh province of northern Afghanistan, say that the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
has prevented Ashura ceremony preparations at the shrine of Hazrat Ali, aka Rawza-e-Sharif, and denied permission to hold the Ashura event there for security reasons.

Officials from the Taliban in Mazar-e-Sharif have instructed those attending Ashura events to do so exclusively in mosques, citing security concerns as their justification.

Every year in Rawza-e-Sharif before the Taliban’s control, the Ashura ceremony was observed.

The Taliban have also acknowledged that they have removed the Ashura holiday from the calendar, as earlier reports in some domestic media and Iranian media contended that the Taliban removed Ashura as a national holiday.

Two explosions occurred among the mourners of this month in Kabul on the 7th and 8th days of Muharram. The number of casualties has been reported with conflicting numbers.

While witnesses to the incident and local sources claim that more than 100 people were killed and nearly 150 others were maimed in both blasts, Khalid Zadran stated that there were 8 fatalities and 20 injuries in the first explosion and 2 fatalities and 7 injuries in the second explosion.

Ashura is observed by all Moslems on the tenth day of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar.

As it commemorates the anniversary of the Battle of Karbala, which took place in present-day Iraq in the seventh century and resulted in Hussein’s death, it is a time of mourning that is particularly significant for Shia Moslems.

Deadly Explosion in Western Kabul: IS-K Terrorist Group Assumes Responsibility
“We dunnit and we’re proud.”
[KhaamaPress] The IS-K terrorist group grabbed credit for the deadly explosion on Saturday in Kabul’s Pol-e-Sokhta neighborhood, which reportedly killed two people and injured at least 22 others.

The Pol-e-Sokhta area of Kabul’s police district 6 was the site of the earth-shattering kaboom, which happened at 03:30 local time, on Saturday. Witnesses on the site claimed that the earth-shattering kaboom targeted the Shi’ite mourners for Muharram.

The Taliban
...Arabic for students...
front man for Kabul Police Office, Khalid Zadran, stated that two people were killed and 22 others were maimed as a consequence of the blast.

Zadran revealed that kabooms had been put in a vase.

However,
women are made to be loved, not understood...
Mawlawi Zabihullah, the head of Kabul’s police district 6, told the local media that three non-combatants were killed and seven others were maimed in this explosion.

According to a health official from a private hospital in Kabul, who was quoted by Rooters, the earth-shattering kaboom resulted in at least eight fatalities and 22 injuries.

The IS-K was also responsible for the earth-shattering kaboom in the Sar-e-Kariz area of western Kabul, which killed eight people and injured 18.

Despite the Taliban’s claims that they have taken security precautions to safeguard the Muharram ceremony’s safety, two consecutive days have seen devastating explosions in Kabul’s west.

Why Are People Who Should Know Better Beginning to Agitate for a Return to Afghanistan?
[Red State] I don’t think anyone can accuse me of being a simp for Joe Biden. That said, sometimes the right things are done, and we need to give him credit. One of those things is following through on President Trump’s decision to leave Afghanistan.

Even though Biden’s execution of our withdrawal from Afghanistan was an utter dog’s breakfast of failure on every level and demonstrated that the Biden White House, his woke Defense Department, and the "white rage" cult commanding our military forces were not up to any task of any significance (Deputy Secretary of State Claims That the ’Process Worked’ for the Afghanistan Mission and Everything You Know Is Wrong), the decision was 20 years overdue.

By the time we left Afghanistan, we had been at war there longer than some of the soldiers fighting the war had been alive. So why were we there in the first place? Because the plot to attack America on September 11, 2001, was hatched there by al Qaeda forces in training camps protected by the government. The mission of destroying those camps and removing the government that had protected them was articulated by President Bush in October 2001.

There is no good case for occupying Afghanistan again. Returning to crack a few heads, to blow up a terrorist base or to repatriate some friends is rational. Car bomb explosion leaves five people injured in Somalia

turbans, who control swathes of rural central and Southern Somalia.

Witnesses said the earth-shattering kaboom targeted Nur Doob Hotel within the busy city, leaving at least five people including two women critically injured. The explosion has since been confirmed by the police in the busy city. This is the second terrorist blast in the same area since last month.

Although no group has taken responsibility for the attack, the al-Shabaab turbans are known for such cowardly acts within the Horn of Africa nation which is struggling with instability for the last couple of years despite stringent security operations.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has also pledged to intensify the fight against the turbans, arguing that he's keen to ensure all sources of revenue for the group, which enables them to wage attacks across the country and even outside the borders.

Recently, the US has also been supporting the ongoing fight against violent mostly peaceful extremism, including through training of Danab Special Forces, who are critical in the fight against the turbans. The US also equips the special forces.

A security official in Jowhar city says a kaboom killed one person and maimed four others on Sunday morning.

The blast was used in an explosives-laden NOHA car that went off at Noor Doob hotel, the scene of the July explosion that killed several people and maimed MPs and ministers.

Eyewitnesses said the earth-shattering kaboom took place when the police closed the road for security reasons. There are damages caused by the earth-shattering kaboom.

There is no statement from the Hirshabelle State regarding the attack and the damage caused, and no group grabbed credit for the bombing.

On fixing war crimes in Ukraine
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary taken from a yandex.ru blog post, written by Sergey Sergey Buntovsky.

[ColonelCassad] It is impossible to say that after 1991 Ukraine was at the center of European, let alone world attention. The vast majority of foreigners, when asked about Ukraine, could only remember Chernobyl, the Klitschko brothers
...Vitali and Wladimir dominated professional heavyweight boxing 2004-2015, after which Vitali went home to become a politician...
and prostitutes. Then there was a surge of interest at the turn of 2004/05, when the "orange revolution" was raging in Kyiv, which was organized by Western experts.

Then, during Ukrainian former resident Viktor Yushchenko's time, many Western specialists worked in the country, most of whom directly or indirectly promoted the interests of their employers, but some political scientists and sociologists tried to be objective, studying the whole palette of opinions.

Although when my colleagues and I (I was then a member of the local council and an activist in one of the Donbass public organizations) told them about the revival with the support of the official government of Nazism and the inevitable subsequent conflict between neo-Bandera and pro-Russian regions, they perceived our fears as extremely exaggerated, and wrote off Nazism to the games of the marginalized.

The second spike in global interest in Ukraine was in 2013/14, when hundreds of foreign journalists flew in to cover the coup d'état. Naturally, the information in their media was presented extremely one-sidedly: 95 percent of foreign journalists did not leave Kyiv and openly played along with the Maidan, but there were those who were not too lazy to go to the Russian-speaking regions.

We then took them around Donetsk, where the Russian spring began, talked about our problems, explained the essence of what was happening. For employees of a very serious international office who flew to Donbass, my colleagues and I created a whole dossier covering the violation of the rights of Russian-speaking citizens in various spheres of life.

As a result, it was possible to establish human relations with some foreigners, although it was clear that at best they remain neutral, and even sympathize with the Ukrainians “who made a democratic choice.”

However, I believe that if they began to work objectively, their materials would be shelved by their direct superiors. Moreover, this applies to both “independent” journalists and employees of international structures who, taking advantage of their position, worked freely on both sides of the front line from 2014 to 2022.

I can’t speak about all foreigners, but some of them changed their minds during the war years. They regularly saw the real very dirty deeds of the heroes of the ATO, encountered the Nazis and found out whose artillery was shooting down the cities. So they tried to document what was happening and somehow influence the Ukrainian security forces.

An example of one such attempt to make the Armed Forces of Ukraine be human can be a letter from the Chairperson of the UN Monitoring Mission for Human Rights, Matilda Bogner, sent to Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk on January 25, 2022. Official copies of this letter were sent to a number of Kyiv officials, who either did not respond at all or limited themselves to empty replies. Therefore, the document was handed over to several civil activists. So a copy of this voluminous document reached me.

The letter was written based on the results of monitoring conducted by UN staff from September 1 to December 31, 2021.

Most of the letter consists of a multi-page list of those killed and wounded, as well as a scrupulous enumeration of destroyed residential buildings and infrastructure. That is, I have in my hands the unemotional statistics of the nightmare that Kyiv arranged in the recalcitrant region. However, there are also emotional moments in the document when Matilda addresses the Ukrainian general.

At the same time, when reading a letter, one must take into account that Ms. Bogner, firstly, is very loyal to Kyiv, and secondly, she is a diplomat and expresses herself with the greatest possible tact, carefully wrapping her real thoughts in tinsel that is pleasant for the addressee.

For example, she wrote:"I would like to remind you that ... all parties to the conflict are obliged to adhere to the applicable rules of international humanitarian law."

Translated from diplomatic language into plain language, this means: “General, your soldiers are violating the rules of war so massively and grossly that it is no longer possible to turn a blind eye to this!”

Or this: "... I would be grateful if your command would carry out the necessary internal checks on compliance with the above-mentioned norms of international civil law by units of the armed forces of Ukraine, the fire of which probably led to the above-mentioned cases of death or injury of civilians ..."

I translate : "Explain to your freaks that you can’t just shoot people at will and shoot at residential areas. This is a war crime."

“... I would like to raise with you the issue of the deployment of military facilities in populated areas ... our monitoring ... has found a clear relationship between the presence of military units under your command in populated areas and civilian casualties”

This doesn’t even need a translation. Where militants appear with a trident on their cockade, blood begins to flow.

"I would like to recall that, in accordance with customary international humanitarian law, parties to an armed conflict should avoid placing military objectives in or near densely populated areas."

It turns out that the practice of placing Ukrainian military equipment among residential buildings, and the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in schools with hospitals and turning ordinary citizens into human shields, was widespread in the Armed Forces of Ukraine long before the start of the Russian special operation. And not just journalists are talking about this, but UN officials.

Well, then Matilda writes a lot of beautiful words about the fact that soldiers should take care of the safety of civilians, try to avoid accidental killings of civilians and the destruction of civilian objects, or, as Mrs. Bogner put it: "at least to reduce such cases to a minimum."

And the icing on the cake is the phrase:

"I would like to urge you to ensure that the armed forces under your command always respect the obligations in the field of international humanitarian law."

Despite the fact that the words are in the form of a wish, this is a very serious statement. In fact, this is a direct accusation of the Ukrainian security forces in the mass commission of war crimes.

In addition, the letter contains various tables and graphs from which interesting conclusions can be drawn.

Here, for example, is a table that analyzes the places where civilians were killed as a result of shelling. 81.4% of those killed fall on the territory of the People's Republics and another 2.3% in the gray zone. The Ukrainian-controlled part of Donbas accounted for 16.3% of civilian deaths, respectively. The difference is colossal and indicates that it is the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are guilty of the vast majority of deaths, since it was they who shot the cities of the republics.

Thus, UN experts testify that the Ukrainian security forces massively and openly violated international humanitarian law, but none of the European or American politicians made any effort to stop the killing of residents of eastern Ukraine by the armed forces of Kyiv.

Adds Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin:
It is worth noting that almost all the “UN recommendations” regarding the war crimes committed by Ukraine, which are cited in these documents, have already migrated in an accusatory manner to the latest report of Amnesty International, which caused a whole hysteria in Ukraine and the resignation of the head of the Ukrainian branch of Amnesty International, which was simply suspended from the preparation of the report, since even in such a grant-eating organization as Amnesty International they perfectly understood that no objectivity, even decorative, could be expected from it.

Separately, it is worth noting that the Zelensky gang is yelling about the fact that Amnesty International accuses the UAF of a large number of victims due to the deployment of troops in schools and city blocks, indicating that the UAF cannot be blamed for this, because Russia attacked. As we see from the UN documents, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were accused of this even before the start of the JMD. Of course, we have been well aware of this since 2014. Here, of course, the beef is that now this topic has leaked into the Western press through the report of Amnesty International, and the Zelensky gang is now hastily extinguishing this fire, accusing Amnesty International of helping Putin.

Although the bottom line is only the desire of the Zelensky gang to evade responsibility for the committed systemic war crimes, for which Zelensky himself is directly responsible. leaked to the Western press and the Zelensky gang is now hastily extinguishing this fire, accusing Amnesty International of helping Putin.

Nearly 2,000 NYPD cops quitting before getting full pensions
[NYPOST] The NYPD is still hemorrhaging cops.

Ever-growing exodus figures show 2,465 coppers have filed to leave the department this year — 42% more than the 1,731 who exited at the same time last year, according to the latest pension fund stats obtained by The Post.

More disturbing is the fact that the number of cops hanging up their holsters early — before reaching 20 years for a full pension — has skyrocketed 71% this year from the year before (1,098 from 641).

NYPD Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch said the so-called "voluntary quits" are driving the "stampede" — and not a big academy class that graduated in 2022, as claimed last month by Chief of Department Kenneth Corey.

"We have had retirement waves caused by large academy classes before — they were nothing like this," said Lynch.

"This exodus is the result of cops in the prime of their careers deciding they have had enough. ... The NYPD should stop trying to explain this staffing crisis away. Admit there’s a problem and help us fix it," he said.

The NYC city council’s Resolution requiring NYPD be re-trained to the NEW Community Policing Mission and Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 203 covering the LIBERAL Policing idea called "Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative Plan".

THEN ADD in a new NYPD Police Commissioner picked to check off a lot of Political Agenda & PR items; like Liberal-minded, Racial & gender issues

Trying to keep Law & Order, while following this Politically Correct agenda and the "Let them walk in signature bail" Soros DA's is bad enough.

But now toss in the mix having to deal with "Looney Tunes" empowered radical community leaders. It has made the role of a NYPD officer nearly impossible. unsafe and a joke.

#2  One of the big attractions of a job with the city is that if you can hang in long enough, you get a nice pension. The fact that cops are bailing early is significant.

#4  Bailing before your pension activated but after your are vested in the system usually means the difference between immediate and some later deferred date. This is a HUGE decision reflecting absolute inability to do the job any longer and fears of safety or civil/criminal prosecution risk
for doing the job correctly. Those that remain will increasingly either be substandard or adopt the SFPD enforcement standard of in patrol-unit dining and report writing.

This is the death sentence for NYC economically, as businesses and industry will now see sunk cost losses as acceptable alternatives to remaining where you cannot keep a workforce on-site.

Prosecutor DeSantis suspended is 'not going down without a fight': Twice-elected state attorney says governor 'is trying to overthrow democracy in Florida' after suspension for refusing to enforce state's abortion ban
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • On Thursday, Florida's conservative Governor Ron DeSantis suspended Democratic county prosecutor Andrew Warren

  • DeSantis described Warren as being 'Soros-backed' and was guilty of 'incompetence and willful defiance' for his refusal to prosecute abortion cases

  • The governor also cited Warren's statements on not prosecuting cases involving minors' gender transition procedures as a reason for the suspension

  • In a new video, Warren said that he is 'not going down without a fight' and is planning a 'vigorous defense'

  • Warren also said: 'Ron DeSantis is trying to overthrow democracy in Florida'

What's going on in Putin occupied Kherson has been hidden from the world. But insider accounts obtained by veteran war reporter DAVID PATRIKARAKOS expose unimaginable evil - and the awesome courage of the Ukrainian resistance
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A cloud of thick smoke hangs over the occupied city of Kherson in Ukraine. Its very stench is evidence of Russian war crimes, on a scale almost too sickening to contemplate.

The smoke comes from mobile incinerators that are running night and day. Vladimir Putin's paranoid soldiers are burning the corpses of Ukrainian citizens tortured and murdered on suspicion of helping the resistance.

And they are dispatching the bodies of their own comrades too — hundreds of them. The Russians are killed by the constant pounding of Ukrainian shells from artillery placements surrounding the city and by highly organised, secret units of freedom fighters.

They are even killed by gangs of youths armed with knives who set upon drunken Russians and stab them.

The incinerators fill Kherson with the reek of charred flesh. There is no mistaking the smell and it adds to the pervasive sense of horror in this Black Sea port. It is a living hell.
And so forth.

UAE occupation launches campaign of abductions in occupied Socotra
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The UAE-funded militia launched a campaign of kidnappings and forced displacement against the people of the Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
i island of Socotra archipelago.

Local sources reported that the UAE militia, during the past hours, launched a massive campaign of kidnappings of a number of opponents of its presence in the city of Hadibo, including local leaders, and transferred them to its secret prisons on the island.

The campaign of kidnappings targeted a number of loyalists of the former Islahi governor in Socotra, Ramzi Mahrous, as a result of their criticism of the UAE’s decision to appoint Raafat al-Thaqali, the leader of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in Socotra, as governor of the island, early this month.

Other sources reported that the UAE forces completed the process of displacing the people of Abdul Kuri Island after taking control of 6 oil sectors on the island, and the near opening of the military airport in partnership with the Zionist navy.

The UAE displaced a number of Abd al-Kuri’s people at the end of last June, after it transferred military vehicles and construction equipment last May to the island to establish an airport in cooperation with the navy of the Zionist enemy.

Arestovich comments on the actions of the Russians in southern Ukraine

[Vesti] Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President's Office, does not rule out that the Russian military will nevertheless go on the offensive in the Nikolaev direction. In his opinion, this is suicidal, but the adviser notes that the Russian command has more than once issued precisely such commands, meaningless from the point of view of the military.

As Arestovich notes, "the enemy group, which is quite serious in the Novaya Kakhovka area, there are about a dozen - maybe fifteen BTGs." "The question is where they will throw it. To strengthen the Kherson direction, or to strengthen the Zaporozhye direction - this is an open question, so we'll see. There, somewhere, two or three BTGs were brought to the right bank of Kherson, the paratroopers entered and partly motorized riflemen. And they began they are actions that many would consider an attack on Nikolaev, but something seems to me that this can’t even be called an action yet. strike in another , "said the adviser.

In general, in the south, according to him, “Russian troops are concentrating on the exit from the Crimea, where they have a small number of BTGs that can go both to Melitopol and Kherson. “ Let's see where they will be strengthened ,” Arestovich said.

As for our counter-offensive in the south, according to Arestovich, the Russians "have one more grouping, its task is to at least stop our advance in the area of the Nikolaev-Kherson highway, where we came quite close." " This is Posad-Pokrovsk, and they are very worried, because Kherson is already visible from here . They plan to keep the defense there. In addition, they are very worried about our bridgeheads located off the coast of Ingulets. They want to occupy it. In general, they are going to fight ", said the adviser. According to him, in general, there are about 30 BTGs in the theater of operations in the south.

And this is practically all that the Russians have left, Arestovich notes. And in the Donetsk region, only mercenaries from the unrecognized "LDNR" remained to fight. " They are not pulling the entire front. The madness that is happening now from Avdiivka to Marinka, all these desperate attacks by Peskov and so on, is because the front has been completely given over to the so-called "DNR" and "LNR", there are no Russians there. They are killing themselves about our fortifications that we have been creating there for eight years. The result may be that in some areas they will advance a maximum of several hundred meters, and end physically. Moscow stupidly writes them off , "says the adviser.

  • Trainee pilots are waiting around in UK military buildings 'on hold' for a space

It also got the project Neon White, which became for many "one of the biggest surprises of 2022" .

In the top 5, Screen Rant also included the martial arts roguelike Sifu, the fantasy tabletop RPG Citizen Sleeper, in which you have to roll the dice in each of the game cycles, the skateboarding-themed project OlliOlli World, and the sequel Rogue Legacy, over which the authors worked for about ten years.

Gamers are debating about the leakage of information about Diablo 4

[REGNUM] In the community of gamers, discussions have unfolded about the recent leak of information about the beta version of the game Diablo 4. This was reported on August 7 by the PC GamesN portal.

The main topics for discussion on the Blizzard forums and the Reddit platform were topics related to the impossibility of selling unique, legendary and set (set) equipment and other trade restrictions, as well as smart loot in the spirit of Diablo 3.

For example, some gamers have supported the idea of limiting the trade in gear, stating that "gaming with a trade economy is a landfill fire" , as "bots and streamers" run the show , buying up all the equipment and controlling prices.

Earlier , REGNUM reported that Blizzard offered fans of the franchise to get temporary tattoos on their bodies in exchange for access to the Diablo IV beta test and a digital copy of the release version of the game. The corresponding action will take place in the USA, Great Britain, Germany and Australia.

Caribbean-Latin America
Biden's Deputies Open New Route for World's Migrants
[Breitbart] President Joe Biden’s border chief has opened a new route for the global migrants seeking jobs and housing in the United States.

The faster route uses boats to carry roughly 1,500 migrants per day from ports in Colombia around the deadly Darien Gap trail and up to ports in Panama, according to Todd Bensman, a former intelligence official who now works with the Center for Immigration Studies.

Bandits, floods, exhaustion, and accidents have killed thousands of global migrants on the Darien Gap trail as they walked through Panama’s jungles and mountains towards Biden’s welcome, said Bensman.

But the new boat-and-bus route will not prevent the death of many migrants as they travel from South America, the Caribbean, Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East to the United States, he said.

The best way to save lives is to persuade would-be economic migrants to stay at or near home, he said. “You can pretty much guarantee you’re saving lives and victimization if they’re staying home or staying in [safer] countries near their home countries,” he told Breitbart News.

Biden’s progressives deputies — led by border chief Alejandro Mayorkas — are opening the new routes to help more of those wishing to flee to the U.S., even for unidentifiable migrants who hide their real identity, he said, adding:

Their thesis is if you build a bridge [for migrants], and make it real nice so that everybody can come, that’s really the only way to save lives. [They argue that border] enforcement causes migrants to do dangerous things, so let’s not have any enforcement. Well, that’s just an untenable position to most Americans, even liberal Americans, to just have no enforcement.

Once the migrants are delivered to small ports further along Panama’s Caribbean coast, government-funded buses take them to towns in Panama. Many of the migrants rely on aid stations run by progressive groups — usually funded by the United Nations and the U.S. government — as they travel north through Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico.

If they reach the U.S. border, the vast majority of Darien Gap migrants are welcomed by Mayorkas’s deputies, and then released to U.S. employers who are eager to hire the desperate migrants instead of hiring better-paid Americans.

The new route opened after Mayorkas visited the Darien Gap area in April.

The U.N. reported:

The people who used the route in 2021 were mainly from Haiti, Cuba, Bangladesh, India, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Nepal, Ghana, and Senegal, as well as Venezuela and Colombia. During 2021, the predominant presence of people of Haitian origin was observed, reaching almost 75% of the total number of people in transit through Panama. The vast majority [of Haitians] correspond to secondary movements and come mainly from countries such as Chile and Brazil where they had temporarily resided.

Thirty inmates saw out of Lebanon’s jail and escape
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

More than 30 people fled a Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...The land area formerly occupied by the state of Lebanon, before that Phoenicia...
detention center at dawn on Sunday, security forces said, after sawing their way through a window, according to a judicial official.

"At dawn ... 31 detainees managed to escape" from a detention center in the Adlieh neighborhood of the capital Beirut, the Internal Security Forces said in a statement on Sunday.

"Immediate orders were given to arrest them and investigations are underway."

The detainees broke past a prison window using a saw smuggled into the facility, said a judicial official close to an investigation into the incident.

"The escapees include Lebanese, Syrians and Paleostinians, among other foreigners," he told AFP on condition of anonymity.

A security source confirmed the escape method, saying the prisoners were likely aided by someone on the outside.

On Sunday morning, an AFP correspondent saw security forces and army personnel deployed in the Beirut neighborhood housing the jail.

The Adlieh detention center was formerly controlled by Lebanon’s General Security agency but is now managed by the country’s prison authority.

It was notorious for abuses committed against detained Syrian refugees and foreign migrant domestic workers, according to rights groups, including Human Rights Watch.

The prison break came as Lebanon grapples with an unprecedented economic crisis that has seen the value of the Lebanese pound lose more than 90 percent of its value against the dollar on the black market.

Inflation has skyrocketed and public sector salaries have plummeted to record lows, forcing soldiers and other members of security forces to quit en masse to try to eke out an alternative living.

The crisis has also further degraded Lebanon’s already-dismal jails, with poor conditions and lack of medical care regularly sparking prion riots and unrest.

Hundreds of Zionist settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Dozens of Zionist settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday from the Almugharba Gate under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, marking the commemoration of the so-called "destruction of the Temple".
By stormed, the reporter means lined up nicely and walked quietly and respectfully through the site where once the Jewish Temple stood. The destruction of the Temple is commemorated by the so-called Arch of Titus, erected in Rome in 81 A.D. — and still visible there today — by the so-called Roman emperor Domitian to commemorate the victory of his brother, the so-called Emperor Titus a decade earlier over the revolting Jews, followed by the so-called destruction of the so-called Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.
Israeli occupation army forces reinforced deployment in al-Aqsa Mosque vicinity to secure settlers while they were storming the Holy Shrine’s courtyards.

Hardcore Zionist parliament member Itamar Ben-Gvir led hundreds of Jewish krazed killer settlers in a provocative march through the Old City of occupied, performing Talmudic prayers amid tight protection by the occupation forces.

In addition, the occupation forces closed the entrance to the Ras al-Amud neighbourhood and prevented the residents from leaving and reaching the perimeter of the Bab al-Asbat area.

The so-called "Union of Temple Organisations" had called on their supporters and settlers to participate widely in the storming of al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday.
How dare those uppity Jews act as if they were the rulers of their very own country, and the Muslims there were their subjects! But no worries — as soon as Iran has functional nuclear bombs, that all will be fixed in accordance with Allah’s will. Though why Allah is taking so long, given that Iran has been working on the problem since at least the 1970s, is a bit confusing.

Afghanistan
What is behind the elimination of the leader of Al-Qaeda?
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian writer Pavel Kukhmirov

[Sevastopol] Biden announced the elimination of the leader of al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. He also noted that the United States will not allow Afghanistan to become a haven for terrorists again.

Despite the fact that such “targeted liquidations” are practically the hallmark of the United States and its allies in the Middle East, it should be noted that nothing of the kind has been undertaken by them for a very long time. Except, of course, for the assassination of Iranian General Soleimani two years ago.
There have been quite a few others, actually, like the series of ISIS head honchos. But do go on...
And it is quite clear that there is always something behind such steps. Let's consider this situation.

So, a decade after the elimination of Osama bin Laden during a similar US special operation in Pakistan, his closest associate Ayman al-Zawahiri was eliminated by two Hellfire missiles in the Afghan capital. A purely political action, much needed on the eve of the impending failure of the Democratic Party in the US midterm elections, although it is clearly insufficient.
One can only hope...
Nevertheless, it is quite capable of becoming, albeit minimal, but a tactical victory for the ruling Washington administration in its fierce battle for the remnants of popularity. But at the same time, it will be a big strategic defeat on another front - in the struggle for stability in the Islamic world.

It is quite clear that the death of the leader of Al-Qaeda will inevitably become a prerequisite for a global shift in relations between America, the Taliban and Pakistan.
Will it? What a good idea!
It is also clear that one of the most famous radical Islamist groups, which is al-Qaeda, has already ceased to have a monopoly on absolute authority in its movement: now it is competing for influence with at least the Islamic State*.

And there is also Jamaat-e-Islami
...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer. The Jamaat opposed the independence of Bangladesh but has operated an independent branch there since 1975. It maintains close ties with international Mohammedan groups such as the Moslem Brotherhood. the Taliban, and al-Qaeda. The Jamaat's objectives are the establishment of a pure Islamic state, governed by Sharia law. It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores...
. Not to mention such an organization as the IRGC, which has a state and official status. At the same time, for the same Taliban * movement, this US success will in any case turn into the most negative consequences.
Negative consequences for the Taliban? Hurray!
For understanding: Ayman al-Zawahiri was destroyed in the house of one of the Taliban field commanders, Sirajuddin Haqqani (leader of the so-called "Haqqani Network"). He lived there for the last six months. And according to the information voiced by the CIA, al-Zawahiri was tracked for at least these same six months.

And it is obvious that it would be practically impossible to outplay the security service of a rather serious Haqqani man without the active assistance of a number of "assistants" in the Taliban movement itself.

As a result, there are two versions of what happened: the version with the introduction of CIA agents into the movement shows the obvious weakness of its leaders.
*Snicker* Yeah....
And the version about the double game of the Taliban themselves is a prerequisite for the collapse of their authority
Surely no one expected the Taliban to behave fairly with unbelievers, including the unbelievers themselves. After all, Allah rejoices in the title of King of Lies...
and, as a result, for the beginning of a new round of instability in the entire region of Central Asia and the Middle East.
A stable Taliban government is not a good thing for anyone involved including, ultimately, the Talibs themselves.
But this is not the only thing complicating the situation. There are also additional actions by the State Department, whose head, Mr. Blinken, made a statement about the violation by the government in Kabul of international obligations that it has assumed. And this is a clear backlog for the start of some additional "sanctions war" or, at least, an official reason for something like that.
Natural consequences of the sort addressed by Kiplings “The Gods if the Copybook Headings” are what the education biz calls teachable moments. May there be a great many of those in the near future, followed by actual learning.
Washington hangs a kind of "Sword of Damocles". And the question is: when will this “sanction potential” be realized? Needless to say, this in itself does not add stability to the region.

It can be assumed that the operation to eliminate Ayman al-Zawahiri was carried out jointly by Washington and Kabul.
It can? How very byzantine.
So to speak, to demonstrate Afghanistan's readiness for a "constructive dialogue", compromises and a desire to establish ties not only with Russia and China, but also with Western countries. But this is only an assumption. If it becomes something big, the Taliban regime* will simply destroy it, plunging the region into chaos.
More chaos than they’ve already plunged into, Mr. Kukhmirov means.
One thing is clear: in their desire to win in the internal struggle, the American elites are ready to set fire to any region. Whether it's China, Afghanistan or the post-Soviet space. And this is a really serious problem.
If America is indeed as dangerous as all that, the intelligent move is to not catch their attention. How about y’all work on that for a while, instead of plunging yourselves into Darwinian situations? And next time, remind President Putin not to believe President Biden when he says something won’t bother him, mkay?

Libyan Protesters Threaten to Shut down Southern Oil Fields
[LIBYAREVIEW] On Saturday, Libyan protesters threatened to shut down the southern oil and gas fields next week. This will occur if the government fails to meet their necessary needs, especially from fuel and gas.

In a statement, Bashir al-Sheikh, the coordinator of the Fezzan movement, said that the residents of southern Libya are lacking basic rights.

He added that the southern region suffers from endemic instability wracked by communal conflict, a shortage of basic services, rampant smuggling, and fragmented or collapsed institutions.

Al-Sheikh stressed that the residents of southern Libya demand the construction of oil refineries in the south, re-operation of Fezzan airports to resume international flights, appointing their sons in oil and investment companies, and diplomatic missions.

He explained that the protesters also demand the government to set up new road projects, and ensure the holding of parliamentary and presidential elections before next June.

Libyan protesters blocked the road between Sebha and Ubari, in southern Libya. They announced that they would prevent trucks from passing through and reaching El Sharara oil field, the country’s largest field.

On Thursday, the Libyan Prime Minister-designate, Fathi Bashagha, allocated 50 million Libyan Dinars in urgent aid to help resolve problems facing the residents of southern municipalities.

According to Prime Minister’s Decision No. 20 of 2022, the amount would be deducted from the miscellaneous expense category of the 2022 general budget.

Notably, a truck carrying diesel fuel in southern Libya caught fire, killing at least nine people and injuring 76. The truck was involved in a traffic accident and overturned.

Pictures posted on social media pages by residents showed a burnt-out truck and several other vehicles on both sides of the road, in the Azwaiya area of Bent Bayya municipality.

A security source said that "after the truck overturned, but before it caught on fire, some people from other cars had approached it to try and take fuel from the truck’s tank."

"(Those) citizens approached it to refuel without realizing the magnitude of the danger. Unfortunately, the fire broke out in the truck and resulted in the casualties."

Libya has Africa’s largest proven oil reserves, but chronic corruption and smuggling to neighboring countries mean that the pumps often run dry.

Southern Libya is particularly affected by poor services and a lack of investment, more than a decade since the overthrow and killing of Muammar Qadaffy
...who single-handedly turned a moderately prosperous kingdom into a dictator's fantasyland and was then murdered by his indignant subjects 42 years later...

Two children wounded in Hodeidah landmine explosion
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] At least two children were seriously injured on Saturday as a result of the earth-shattering kaboom of a landmine left behind by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression in al-Tuhaita district, Hodeidah province.

According to the Executive Mine Action Center, the earth-shattering kaboom caused serious injuries to the 2 children .

The rising number of victims due to mines and remnants left over by the aggression forces during the humanitarian truce
..The purposes of a truce are twofold: 1.) bring up more arms, ammunition, and reinforcements; and 2.) get the enemy to relax his vigilance. A truce is not the same thing as a ceasefire, and a ceasefire doesn't mean you have to stop shooting...
in many provinces, is attributed to the lack of survey devices and equipment required to clean the affected areas, as a result of preventing their entry by the coalition, the center said.

It called on humanitarian partners to play their role and pressure the United Nations

Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: August 7th, 2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
[Korrespondent] 21:22 Zelensky warned about the responsibility of everyone who will help the occupiers with holding pseudo-referendums: "Every week there are more and more reports that the occupiers are preparing for pseudo-referendums in the areas of the south of our state they occupy. I want to say a very simple thing: everyone who helps the occupiers to somehow realize this intention of theirs, they will answer. They will answer to Ukraine. The position of our state remains the same as it was before: we will not give up anything of ours, and if the occupiers follow the path of these pseudo-referendums, then they will close any possibility of negotiations for themselves with Ukraine and the free world, which the Russian side will definitely need at some point."

21:15 Zelensky said in an evening video message that the situation in Donbas remains very difficult, and also announced "news from partners" on new military support: "Avdiivka, Peski, Marinka, Bakhmutsky and other hot destinations in the Donetsk region are taking the main efforts and, "Unfortunately, there are many lives. It is also hard in the Kharkiv region, in the south of our country, where the occupiers are trying to concentrate their forces. Weapons for our defense, weapons from partners are still key now. We work daily and without any pauses to strengthen the supply of weapons , in order to send more powerful and longer-range systems to the front lines. And we expect news from partners on support packages during the week."

19:40 American actress Jessica Chastain visited Ukraine today and, in particular, met with Zelensky.

19:19 The enemy is concentrating efforts on establishing full control over the territories of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, holding the captured areas of Kherson and part of the Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Nikolaev regions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in an evening summary . At the same time, Russian troops made several unsuccessful offensive attempts, including near Blagodatnoye in the Kherson region, and fighting continues in some directions.

17:57 In the morgues of the Kiev region in the period from June 15 to July 27, more than 270 bodies of the dead were received from different regions of Ukraine, including from Azovstal. According to the regional police, the bodies were examined, but most of them remain unidentified. The police ask everyone who is looking for loved ones to write an SMS or a message on Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram to the number +380936684014. It is important to add a photo, including special signs, tattoos, personal items.

17:21 Amnesty International apologized for the "suffering and anger" that Ukrainians experienced because of its report, in which the Armed Forces of Ukraine are accused of violating humanitarian law. But, despite this, the organization stated that it does not refuse the data presented in the report.
“So sorry if you felt offended.”
16:23 Podolyak said in an interview with Tagesspiegel that Russia plans to freeze the war for six months in order to pull more troops and weapons to the front: "If the West gets tired of the war, then Russia will strike again with all its might."

According to the adviser to the head of the OP, Ukraine should go on a counteroffensive in order to liberate more territories, especially in the south: "The more and faster we get heavy weapons, the sooner we can stop this war." He noted that the return of all internationally recognized territories would be a victory for Ukraine.

16:19 The Ministry of Health, in connection with the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP, recalled the algorithm of actions in case of a radiation accident:

  • Do not leave cover.

  • Follow official sources of information.

  • Take off your clothes, it is advisable to pack them tightly and hide them.

  • Take a shower with soap, wash your hair with shampoo.

  • Put on clean clothes.

15:46 Ukraine first of all needs multi-role fighters, which, in tandem with long-range artillery supplied by international partners, will help in the de-occupation of territories, Yuriy Ignat, spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said.

15:34 Sweden will join the training of Ukrainian soldiers in the UK. The Swedish Armed Forces will provide about 120 instructors between August 12 and December 31 to conduct basic military training for Ukrainians. Up to 60 Swedish instructors will be in the UK at the same time.

15:17 Zelensky said that he had spoken with the head of the European Council Charles Michel: "He spoke about the situation on the battlefield, in particular at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Russian nuclear terror requires a more decisive response from the international community - sanctions on the Russian nuclear industry and nuclear fuel."

14:45 The Russians again fired at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and the city of Energodar last night, Energoatom reported. The missiles hit the station site next to the dry spent nuclear fuel storage facility. As a result of the explosions, one ZNPP worker was wounded by shrapnel, he was hospitalized.

Meanwhile, the "authorities" of the occupied Energodar were accused of hitting the Armed Forces of Ukraine - according to their data, one person died.

13:39 Podolyak reacted to a film by the American CBS television channel that a significant part of Western weapons in Ukraine allegedly goes to the black market: "Propaganda constantly exploits horror. Russia seeks to discredit Ukraine in the eyes of Western societies by stuffing about the" black arms market ". As a result "block support. But for six months - not a single proof. This is a live war, where everyone sees that there is total accounting and careful control."

13:08 There is a possibility that the Pope will visit Ukraine before his visit to Kazakhstan, Ukrainian Ambassador to the Vatican Andriy Yurash said. He quoted the pontiff after meeting with him: "I am very close to Ukraine and I want to express this closeness with my visit."

12:43 In the Lugansk region, the occupiers are actively preparing for the "referendum" and compiling a register of premises, said the head of the OVA Serhiy Gaidai: "Thus, people are attracted to a fake referendum with food, water, building materials, as well as day is brainwashing the population in the occupied cities."

12:28 The speaker of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat commented on the petition of the Ukrainians with a request to strengthen air defense in the front-line areas. According to him, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Nikolaev and Zaporozhye suffer primarily from rocket and cannon artillery, against which the air defense system is powerless. Anti-aircraft missile systems also cannot shoot down such targets, since 40 rockets from Grad arrive in a matter of minutes.

12:15 Residents of the Lugansk region no longer have the possibility of official evacuation, but there are three ways to get to Ukrainian territory, said the head of the OVA Serhiy Gaidai on the air of the telethon. The first way, according to him, is a pedestrian crossing to the Kharkiv region. The second - through the Zaporozhye region by car, but there are "huge queues". Finally, the third way is along the "great circle", through Russia and the Baltic countries.

11:19 The terrorist attack in Yelenovka was a special operation of the Russian Federation against the supply of weapons to Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a member of the coordinating headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war, said: "From the beginning of this terrible tragedy and the terrible farce that we saw from the Russians, this and there was falsification. From the first reports of the use and deliberate shelling of HIMARS precision weapons - it was a special operation against the supply of Western precision weapons to Ukraine - it was a special operation to destabilize Ukrainian society and demoralize Ukrainian prisoners of war. From the very beginning it was a falsification, but the world quickly exposes such things".

10:57 Chernivtsi region remains the only one in Ukraine, on the territory of which not a single missile strike has been recorded since the beginning of the war, said Deputy Interior Minister Yevgeny Enin: "If we talk about those areas that suffer from Russian shells the most, then this is Donetsk, which fired more than 3,000 times, Lugansk - 4,000 times, Mykolaiv - 700 times. There is only one region left, which, thank God, has not yet arrived - this is the Chernivtsi region.

10:32 The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine confirmed that a second caravan with Ukrainian food left the ports of Odessa and Chornomorsk. The caravan includes three vessels from Chornomorsk and one loaded in Odessa. The four bulk carriers Mustafa Necati, Star Helena, Glory and Riva Wind carry almost 170,000 tons of agricultural products, the ministry said.
How many will that feed, and for how long?
10:18 The General Staff announced the approximate losses of the enemy on the morning of August 7. The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction.

  • personnel - about 42,200 (+300) people liquidated,

  • tanks - 1805 (+3),

  • armored combat vehicles - 4055 (+4),

  • artillery systems - 958 (+3),

  • MLRS - 260 (+0),

  • air defense systems - 132 (+5),

  • aircraft - 223 (+0),

  • helicopters - 191 (+0),

  • UAV operational-tactical level - 750 (+6),

  • cruise missiles - 182 (+0),

  • ships/boats - 15 (+0),

  • automotive equipment and tankers - 2978 (+8),

  • special equipment - 86 (+1).

10:11 British intelligence has calculated that ten Russian generals were killed in the war in Ukraine. In addition, at least six Russian commanders have been sacked since the start of the Russian invasion.

09:31 Russians attacked industrial facilities on the outskirts of Nikolaev early this morning. There were no casualties, said the head of the OVA Vitaly Kim.

09:17 A new wave of forced mobilization began in ORDLO on August 1. They select men who are unsuitable for service, and those who had a deferral, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. So, in Luhansk, after 40 minutes, two buses of men were taken from the market, most of them were porters. In Alchevsk, men were taken away in the middle of the streets. The population is outraged, the men are hiding.

On the streets of the city of Khrustalny, the number of patrols increased, taking males to the military enlistment office without explanation. The raids on enterprises and commercial establishments, where men fit for military service are employed, continue.

At the same time, dissatisfaction is spreading among the already mobilized men of ORDLO with the attitude of the command in the occupying army towards the local personnel. In particular, the Russians are given modern body armor and helmets, and the locals are given ammunition of the 1941-1945 model.

08:38 In the Donetsk region, five civilians per day were killed by Russian shelling - three in Bakhmut, one each in Avdiivka and Blagodatnoe. Eight more people were injured, Pavel Kirilenko, head of the OVA, said.

08:34 Four dry cargo ships with agricultural products left Ukrainian ports and are heading to Istanbul , the Turkish Defense Ministry said.

08:16 Russians at night fired at the Nikopol and Krivoy Rog districts of the Dnepropetrovsk region. In Marganets, two people were injured, almost 50 private houses, several cars and a bus stop, a gas pipeline and an electrical network were damaged. Several thousand residents were left without electricity, said the head of the OVA, Valentin Reznichenko.

07:50 On the territory of Belarus, the armed forces of the Russian Federation are deploying additional forces and means of air defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports in the morning report .

07:44 Four more ships with grain will leave Ukraine today as part of a grain deal, the Turkish Defense Ministry said.

06:26 The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) notes that Russia is using nuclear power plants to play on Western fears about a nuclear catastrophe in Ukraine. Also, the Russians are trying to undermine the will of the West to provide military support to the Ukrainian counteroffensive and use the nuclear power plant as a nuclear shield to prevent Ukraine from striking Russian forces and equipment, analysts say.

According to military experts, the Russians carried out limited ground attacks northwest of Slovyansk and east and south of Bakhmut. They also carried out a series of ground attacks in an attempt to break through Ukrainian defense lines north, west and south of Donetsk. ISW assumes that the Russians managed to capture Travnevoe south of Bakhmut and control the southeastern part of Pesok west of Donetsk.

At the same time, the Russians did not conduct offensive operations in the south of Ukraine and continued defensive activities. The activities of Ukrainian partisans and civil resistance "disappoint" the occupiers, analysts add.

05:11 Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov announced a rocket attack on the Novobavarsky and Nemyshlyansky districts of the city, information about the victims and destruction is being specified.

04:07 British The Times writes that Amnesty International has become a propaganda mouthpiece for the Putin regime, slandering the victims of Russian aggression, and should leave the stage.

SBU liquidates a group of Russian agents who surrendered the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas

[LB] The agent network included six local residents.

by Tanya Matyash

The Security Service of Ukraine liquidated the Russian spy network that was spying on the positions of the Ukrainian military near the eastern front.

This was reported by the SBU press center.

"The security service continues to intensify the "clearing" of the front-line areas of the east from enemy agents and sabotage-intelligence groups. In the course of counter-intelligence measures, the activities of the Russian agent network, which collected intelligence on the deployment and movement of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, and Pokrovsky districts of Donetsk region, were stopped. , - the message says.

The perpetrators reported to the occupiers about the consequences of rocket and bomb attacks, artillery shelling of the region and the scale of the destruction of residential buildings and civil infrastructure facilities.

It was established that one of the "liaison" agents was a representative of the occupation administration of the Russian Federation. He turned out to be an "official" of the so-called "supreme court of the DNR", involved in the persecution and illegal imprisonment of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.

According to the investigation, the agent network included six local residents who were recruited by the special services of the Russian Federation after the start of the full-scale invasion. In order to collect information, the attackers independently monitored the locations and movements of the armed forces.

"They transmitted the received data to the invaders through special Internet platforms in the form of coordinates on electronic maps with confirming materials of photo and video recording. In addition, during investigative and operative actions in the Pokrovsky district, a pro-Kremlin agitator was detained. The attacker distributed propaganda publications on the Internet, in which he justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. He used his own account in Russian social networks to "disperse" destructive content," the SBU said.

Currently, all detainees have been notified of suspicions of committing crimes against the state security of Ukraine. The issue of choosing them as a preventive measure in the form of detention is being resolved.

We will remind, since the beginning of the full-scale war with the Russian Federation , more than 1,600 saboteurs and collaborators have been detained.

#1  It's a trap!

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Wow! This Vietnam Vet's letter – a must read…
[Freedom Is Just Another Word] Dear Ms. Griner,

We hope this letter finds you in good health, and we understand you are having some rough times in your life.

We are a group of old Vietnam Combat Veterans from North Carolina. Our average age is around seventy years old. We call ourselves, The Bunker Boys. We spent a lot of time living in rat and snake infested holes in the ground known as Bunkers.

When we were not in the bunkers, we were crawling through the jungle being shot at. We must be honest and tell you that the only thing we may have in common with you is that we, too, were drafted. We noticed you were drafted number one in the WNBA draft a few years ago. Since we all were drafted, we thought we might let you know what it was like when we were drafted.

Unlike you, most of us had no college.

The people of the United States drafted us. We consisted of all colors, religions and personal beliefs. We had no choice of which team we played for: Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines.

We were sent halfway around the world to fight and kill people we didn’t know in a place we had never heard of. We were paid, we know you can relate to this,

$3.00 a day, and were required to work 24 hours a day if needed. When we returned home, many or most of us were treated very badly by our fellow Americans. We were spit on and hit by bottles and rocks as the police stood by and watched.

We did not complain, we just continued on in life and made the best of it.

We fought for God, family, country and of course, the Flag and the National Anthem, a poem that was written by, of all people, a lawyer. He wrote the poem/anthem as he watched bombs fall on and kill fellow Americans. Ever since that night, our nation has played that little poem before millions of social functions.
For some people, it’s just a little song.

For a Veteran, it is a reminder of how many men and women of all colors have given their lives so the rest can have the right to be free.

We found in our research that you requested the National Anthem not be played at sporting events. We find it odd that now you are requesting the citizens of the United States to pay for your release from a jail in Russia. Yes, we the taxpayers are paying for all of those diplomats working on your release.

Our government told you, and all fellow Americans in Russia, to leave Russia after the invasion of the Ukraine. You play basketball in a country that is known to treat Americans badly. You fly a great deal and must know by now, all the rules of what one can bring into a country. All of us that travel know the rules for entering a foreign country.

You are a guest and must go by the rules of the land.

By your own admission, you were attempting to bring an illegal substance into a country that is known for its long prison sentences. You had to know this because you are making a million dollars a year to play a game and you hold a college degree.

At six feet nine inches tall, you know that security officers are going to focus on you from the moment you stand in the boarding pass line. We also noticed that you are now saying you placed the drugs in your luggage by accident.

Please, that is something an 18-year-old would say.

We also found out that your net worth is somewhere around $5 million bucks for playing a game. For old guys like us, living on a fixed income, that’s a lot of money for just playing a game. Don’t get us wrong; we are not against you.

We all went and fought so all Americans can have the freedom to make their own choices.

We just hope the next time you have to endure the playing of that little poem, you will pay close attention to the "Land of the free," part.

Wishing you the very best,

The Bunker Boys

#1  The whole thing reminds me of that rich kid who spray painted cars in Singapore and was going to get a public spanking Singapore style. His people went around the talk shows trying to build sympathy but most Americans shrugged and said he had it coming, he knew the law and did it anyway.

I feel the same today about this basketball player but even more so.

#3  I flew into and out SFO in uniform in 1968 and 1969 without any problems. I never knew any one who was mistreated by civilians. They either pitied us or told us we were patriots. The Navy and Air Force did not use draftees. The Army and the Marines did.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Grass mown: Gaza ceasefire takes effect, per agreement by Israel, Islamic Jihad
And so this round ends — this year’s short, victorious war... unless Palestinian Islamic Jihad has another unexpected outburst because peace with Israel is against their principles. Day 3 is here, Day 2 here, Day 1 here.

Egypt-brokered ceasefire in Gaza comes into effect after 3-day conflict: Reports
Gaza

[AlAhram] A Cairo-brokered ceasefire between the Israeli and Paleostinian sides in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip has come into effect on 11:30 local time (8:30 GMT) as previously announced, according to media reports.

The ceasefire agreement is set to end three days of renewed conflict between Israel and Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...
in the enclave with Israeli Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s claiming the lives of 43 Paleostinians, including children.
How many died from PIJ rockets landing on their heads? How many more were PIJ hard boys dying when Israel destroyed their launch sites while they were launching? How many were in the PIJ tunnel the IDF destroyed?
Israel affirmed in an official statement today that it will stop fighting with the Islamic Jihad in Gaza at 11:30 pm local time. However,
ars longa, vita brevis...
it threatened to strike back "forcefully" in response to any breach of the ceasefire.

Israel also thanked Egypt for its efforts in securing an end to the escalation.

Egypt has intensified contacts with both sides in the enclave to contain the current escalation, an official source said earlier.

Moreover, Egypt is also working to ensure the release of Paleostinian captive Khalil Awawdeh and transport him for treatment as well as captive Bassam al-Saadi, the source added.

Awawdeh, 40, has been arrested by the Israeli authorities in December last year and detained since then without a trial. Awawdeh has been reportedly on a hunger strike for around a month as he remained in jail without charges. Saadi, a senior figure in Islamic Jihad's political wing, was recently arrested in the occupied West Bank.

Fighting between Israel and Islamic Jihad started in Gaza on Friday when Israel assassinated prominent Islamic Jihad leader Taysir al-Jaabari in Gaza through airstrikes, ending a year of calm in the enclave. The Islamic Jihad reportedly launched hundreds of rockets against Israeli cities from Gaza in retaliation.

On Sunday, Israeli officials also claimed to kill Khaled Mansour, a big shot of the Islamic Jihad in an airstrike in Gaza yesterday.

Both Israel and the Islamic Jihad said that they had agreed to the Cairo-brokered ceasefire proposal.

"A short while ago the wording of the Egyptian truce agreement was reached, which contains Egypt's commitment to work towards the release of two prisoners, al-Saadi and Awawdeh," senior Islamic Jihad member Mohammad al-Hindi said in a statement.

According to earlier reports, the deal will include Israeli concessions to alleviate the Gaza Strip's fuel shortage. Within this context, Israel said that it will ease the blockade and allow the passage of fuel trucks to the strip’s power station on Monday.

The ceasefire plans come a day after President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi said Egypt is exerting "big efforts," alongside partners, to restore stability and calm in the Gaza Strip and is contacting the Paleostinians and Israelis to ensure that things do not get out of control.

Egypt also announced in a brief statement by the foreign ministry on Friday that it has intensified contact round the clock in an effort to contain the situation in Gaza, achieve calm, and protect lives and properties.
Hear ye! Hear ye! Everyone will now notice how important Egypt is!
The last major Israeli assault on Gaza was in May 2021, which killed around 250 Paleostinians, including women and kiddies, before an Egypt-brokered ceasefire ended hostilities.

The Israeli aggression last year has left the enclave in dire need of reconstruction work after destroying and damaging thousands of housing units and vital facilities and leaving scores of Gazooks homeless after 11 days of airstrikes.
And now the need is even more dire, which it would not have been had Islamic Jihad been able to keep it in their pants, as it were.
Over the past year, Egypt has maintained diplomatic and security contacts with both the Israeli and Paleostinian sides to consolidate the ceasefire and pave the way for the resumption of the Paleostinian-Israeli peace talks.

Egypt has also been carrying out the reconstruction work in the enclave, including building towns that are planned to accommodate hundreds of thousands of Paleostinians, as El-Sisi pledged $500 million to rebuild Gaza in May 2021.

Islamic Jihad's southern command chief martyred in Zionist strike on Gaza

’s Rafah.

In a statement early on Sunday, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad said commander Khaled Mansour was martyred along with other 3 fighters of the resistance group in a strike that killed 4 other civilians.

The deaders included a child and two women, the statement said, adding that other civilians were maimed in the strike which hit a residential area in Rafah, south of the besieged enclave.

Mansour was member of al-Quds Brigades’ Military Council, and the Southern Command Chief in Gaza, according to the statement.

"The blood of commander Mansour will set fire to the battle to defend al-Quds and al-Aqsa which will be violated by Zionist settlers today," the statement said, referring to plans by Zionist MK Itamar Ben Gvir to storm the holy site along with hundreds of Israeli settlers.

"The blood of our Mujahedeen won’t go in vain, and the Israeli enemy will regret he strike."

Earlier on Friday, the Israeli occupation assassinated the Islamic Jihad’s Northern Command Chief Tayseer al-Jaabari in a strike in Gaza, as it announced it has started an aggression on the coastal enclave.

The strike since then went ahead, killing so far at least 32 deaders, including women and kiddies, and wounding more than 200 others.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Russian Perspective: Operation to Denazify Ukraine: Operational Brief August 7th (updated)
Direct Translation via Google Translate.

Kindly note that several entries in this article were removed because they included discussions of the grand strategic level.

[NewsFrontInfo] 22:41 The RF Armed Forces are crushing the enemy in the direction of Russian and Cherkasy Tishok north of the northeastern outskirts of Kharkov. Fighting at Dementievka. Attacks on Kharkov and Chuguev - almost on a daily basis. The enemy continues shelling the border areas of the Belgorod and Kursk regions.

21:42 There are reports of a new attempt to break through the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region. This time - near the village of Dobryanka. And as usual, the Ukrainians "advance" without fire support and armored vehicles. RF Armed Forces cover them with artillery

20:58 Explosions in Vinnitsa, Kirovohrad and Dnepropetrovsk regions, alarms cover Ukraine, a few minutes ago they roared only in the west of the country. Explosions in the city of Kropyvnytskyi in the Kirovograd region. Explosions are also reported in Uman and the Poltava region.

19:57 Armed Forces of Ukraine began to use American AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles

The remains of this missile were found at the positions of the RF Armed Forces. The maximum launch range is 150 kilometers, the minimum is 25. These missiles have a passive radar homing head and are aimed at radar stations.

18:41 High ("yellow") level of terrorist threat in Sevastopol has been extended for a week, until August 14, the city government said

17:46 What do the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the nuclear power plant in Energodar say

Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired twice at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe. A fire broke out at the facility, due to which electricity and water were lost in Energodar, located next to the station. A garage cooperative also came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine: several cars of local residents burned down.

Today the situation repeated itself: the Ukrainian MLRS "Hurricane" again hit the ZNPP.

What exactly are dangerous attacks occurred?

▪️The shells fired yesterday hit the open switchgear (ORU), which is responsible for the transmission of energy from nuclear power plants in Zaporozhye, Melitopol and Nikopol. Due to the hits, the equipment of power unit No. 3 was de-energized, and the station personnel had to reduce the power at power unit No. 4.

The munitions also damaged the water pipelines, causing the gas flowing through them to ignite.

▪️The Armed Forces of Ukraine deliberately aimed at the new section of the outdoor switchgear, through which electricity goes to Kakhovka: it is through this section that they plan to connect the Zaporizhzhya NPP to the Russian power grid.

▪️Today's blow hit the spent nuclear fuel (SNF) storage facility. The MLRS shells did not damage the containers themselves and hit the roof of the loading tractor garage.

What do the Kyiv authorities plan to achieve with this?

🔹The purpose of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is to cause panic among the inhabitants of Energodar with the threat of a man-made environmental disaster.
🔹In Kyiv, they want to artificially provoke a mass exodus of the population of the liberated territories of Zaporozhye and call into question the legitimacy of the future referendum.
🔹For the Ukrainian authorities, these people are no longer considered “their own (https://t.me/rybar/36160)”, so they will sacrifice their lives without hesitation for the sake of their tasks.
🔹The Zaporozhye NPP feeds, among other things, the Ukrainian territories. Stopping work is fraught with a power outage in the lands controlled by Kyiv. The Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot fail to understand this, and the shelling of the ZNPP is carried out deliberately.

16:43 Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye region delivered humanitarian aid to settlements for civilians to the very front

Food packages were provided and collected by volunteers of the headquarters of "We are together with Russia", the Young Guard of "United Russia" and "Combat Brotherhood". Assistance from Russia was received by residents of the villages of Staromlynovka, Volodino, Staromayorovka, Lyubimovka, Sladkovodnoe, Orlinskoye, Zaporizhzhya and others, which are under constant shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Both volunteers and the Russian military are aware of the importance and necessity of helping every person who suffers from fascist attacks by the armed forces of Ukraine. Therefore, despite the risks, targeted assistance is provided in remote villages, visiting every house and providing the necessary assistance.

15:43 Another prisoner of war taken by our guys.

And another confirmation that no one really uses the supplied Western weapons. As the prisoner of war himself says, “I just watched.” The question remains open: what is the point of stuffing Ukraine with weapons that military personnel do not even know how to use?

14:38 Effects of night shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the Ukrainian Nazis.

The head of the Regional State Administration Yevgeny Balitsky published these footage, commenting on the situation: "In the event of a man-made disaster, the cities of Nikopol, Zaporozhye, Kryvyi Rih, as well as most of the western regions of Ukraine, and then all of Europe, will be in the radius of radiation damage in the first place."

He also noted that the IAEA is aware of the real risk of a nuclear catastrophe due to the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but does not take any measures at all to prevent the actions of the criminal Kyiv regime.

13:20 The main thing from the new briefing of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation:

▪️The RF Armed Forces destroyed up to 130 military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a strike on the deployment point of the units of the mechanized brigade in Artemovsk in the DPR;
▪️Russian troops with high-precision missiles destroyed up to 70 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR and hit two batteries of howitzers "Hyacinth" of the enemy;
▪️The Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed more than 100 nationalists on the territory of CHPP-3 and the Karpovsky Garden in Kharkov;
▪️Kyiv decided to send mobilized citizens ahead of schedule to the front line, who began training at the training center of the 72nd brigade in the city of Bila Tserkva;
▪️Russian air defense systems shot down eight Ukrainian UAVs and intercepted one MLRS projectile in the DPR and southern Ukraine;
▪️The Russian Armed Forces suppressed four platoons of the Grad MLRS, two platoons of Msta-B guns as part of the counter-battery fight in the DPR;
▪️Russian aviation, artillerymen and missilemen hit three command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroyed five warehouses and a launcher of the Buk-M1 air defense system;
▪️Russian aviation and artillerymen destroyed an arsenal with 45 tons of ammunition supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by NATO countries in the Nikolaev region.

12:58 At night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Zaporozhye NPP from the Uragan MLRS, fragments and a rocket engine fell no more than 400 meters from the station’s operating power unit, the military-civilian administration of Energodar reported

11:39 So under fire Russian artillery, Ukrainian soldiers flee from their positions. Arestovich will call this another "improvement of the tactical situation."

10:49 The authorities of Nikolaev where on Friday the two-day curfew is entered, for identification of disloyal inhabitants organized door-to-door round of all houses, the head of the Nikolaev regional council Anna Zamazeeva reported.

"They go straight to the apartments. They check everyone, they check documents and mobile phones - they check everything," the Ukrainian agency UNIAN quoted her as saying. According to her, all residents of the city should fall under the wave of this check.

10:46 Su-25 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was shot down by air defense systems near the village of Radostnoye in the Kherson region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

Another Ukrainian Su-25 was destroyed in an air battle by operational-tactical aviation in the Solntsevo area in the Kirovograd region.

09:16 Russian Ministry of Defense showed weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured during a special operation in the Izyum direction.

Among the trophies, weapons, mainly of foreign production, are hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers made in Great Britain, the USA, Poland, Sweden, including Javelin and Karl Gustav missile systems, as well as heavy machine guns abandoned by Ukrainian nationalists and Soviet-made small arms.

06:43 A series of missile strikes were carried out at night and in the morning on targets in Nikolaev.

06:32 A series of missile strikes were carried out at night on targets in Kharkiv. At least two objects are definitely hit, they are on fire. At about 04:40, explosions thundered in the Novobavarsky district.

03:20 Hunting for tanks: reconnaissance of the Airborne Forces directs artillery at the armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Nikolaev. landingbeatson enemy targets, correcting fire from the air.

02:00 The Russian Navy strikes at Ukraine, the country is covered by an air raid.

There are at least 5 missiles in the sky. One flew over the Odessa region, after which the alarm began to roar in the Cherkasy region.

0:36 The situation is tense: the Russian Army is deploying new troops to the Zaporozhye direction, 3-4 battalion tactical groups have been deployed to the Tokmak region in two days, - Arestovich.

"There is an opinion that they are preparing an offensive, on the other hand, that they are preparing for defense. But there is a group in the area of New Kakhovka, quite serious. We are talking about 10-15 BTG. The question is where they will be thrown - to strengthen the Kherson or Zaporozhye direction," Arestovich said.

0:03 Special operation, August 6:

- Near Belogorka in the Kherson region, the Russian Aerospace Forces and artillery hit the deployment point of the 46th Ukrainian airmobile brigade, over 400 people were killed. Also, as a result of attacks on the combat positions of Ukrainian troops in the Kherson region, more than 70 nationalists were killed, about 150 were injured;
- As reported by the RF Ministry of Defense, during the counter-battery fight, a Ukrainian platoon of the Alder MLRS and American HIMARS were destroyed in the Kharkiv region;
- The Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed more than 80 mercenaries and 11 pieces of equipment as a result of an attack on the stronghold of the "Foreign Legion" in the Dnipropetrovsk region;
- The Russian Federation again called on the UN, the IAEA to condemn the criminal actions of Kyiv and take measures to prevent provocations at radiation hazardous facilities. The shelling of the territory of the Zaporizhzhya NPP by Kyiv is intentional, a threat is created to the nuclear security of not only Ukraine, but also Europe, the Russian Defense Ministry said;
- Kadyrov said that he had talked with Putin about Chechen fighters performing tasks in Ukraine, the president highly appreciated their military merits and contribution to the liberation of the LPR;

Wonder when the Russians aim for the USA to denazify us? Got any answers, Badanov? Have your orders from the FSB on the US yet?

#9  The Russian politician is a member of Rodina, one of the least represented political parties in the national Duma, one there only by the Good graces of Russian Federation president Vladimir Putin. Rodina is an extremely patriotic Russian political organization.

Glean from that what you will.

Colonel General Rodionov is a member of Rodina, and is known for the reforms he used for rebuilding the Russian Army.

He also is know for his public anti-Semitic outbursts.
