Over the past three decades I’ve educated myself on what I either wasn’t taught in civics classes or have simply forgotten being I’m now 75. One thing that has never wavered in my mind is the miracle of the birthing of this constitutional republic, capitalism and while I didn’t know all the finer intricacies of brain washing, I’ve always known socialism and communism are a deadly poison.

Not paid advertisement. Hillsdale college has a wonderful course on Liberalism. It shows the lefts slant into socialism and its a fairly honest history. Last but not least, its free. It is well worth the time. They also have one that will be out next week on Marxism, socialism, and communism.

It worked in the 2020 general election and it's no doubt gearing up again for another run. The only question is, will it work twice?
Four years ago, after the results of the presidential election finally came in, it was obvious there were problems and inconsistencies with the process. Dead voters, bogus residencies, midnight ballot dumps in crucial swing states that magically propelled one candidate over the other in just a few short hours, 2,000 mules, video evidence of poll workers running ballots through scanners multiple times, etc.
A lot of people took those instances as evidence of massive voter fraud, while a lot of people dismissed them as evidence of the mere anecdotal. Either way, I don't think those matters were given adequate consideration because they were never properly adjudicated, as cases were thrown out by judges across the country. The Supreme Court never involved itself, though I think it should have, because this is far more important than who uses what bathroom, and Attorney General William Barr washed his hands of it about 30 days after the election, hardly enough time to give it its due. (Even a lawyer for your average murder trial gets a year to hash through the evidence and prepare.)
So these instances of irregularity have always bothered me, but because there's really no way to get around the "anecdotal" nature of this, one is left to conspiracy theory, cynicism, or abject despair... which may be the point of the whole thing anyway.
But it disturbed me to the degree that I wanted to find some sort of clearinghouse for the whole matter. Where could one go to find data revealing what actually happened four years ago? Where could one find an aggregate collection of data uncontaminated with opinion, bias, or any other point of view apt to skew an average citizen's quest for accuracy? And after some thought and rumination, I found a place I’d not immediately considered before, a place that just might give me some valid information and a little peace of mind.
The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), the largest such facility in Europe, has caught fire after being shelled by Ukrainian forces, the governor of Russia’s Zaporozhye Region, Evgeny Balitsky, announced on Sunday. The blaze is under control, the official added.
The fire, which affected the plant’s cooling systems, broke out following a Ukrainian attack on the nearby city of Energodar on Sunday, Balitsky said in a statement. The plant’s six reactors were placed in a state of “cold shutdown” as a precaution, the governor explained, adding that there is “no threat of a steam explosion or other consequences.”
“Emergency workers are working at the scene of the fire, and the sources of ignition have begun being eliminated,” Balitsky said.
According to the governor, radiation levels around the plant are normal and “there is no threat” to people nearby.
The Zaporozhye NPP was seized by Russian forces in 2022, four days into Moscow’s military operation. Six months later, the region of Zaporozhye voted to join the Russian Federation in a referendum. Throughout the first year of the conflict, Russian forces foiled repeated Ukrainian attempts to attack the station – which sits on the Dnieper River – with landing craft and drones.

From what I remember from working in the nuclear industry cooling towers don't catch fire. Water leaving the condenser tubes flows to a cooling tower. Air moving upward past the water spraying downward inside the cooling tower cools the water. The water collected in the cooling tower basin is pumped back to the condenser for re-use. Water from the nearby lake, river, or ocean is needed to make-up for the water vapor.

The chairman of the powerful House Administration Committee says his investigation into one of the Democrats' most successful political action committees has pivoted to whether foreigners may be laundering money into the 2024 election.
Rep. Bryan Steil, W-Wis., said his committee has identified individuals who claim they did not make the donations attributed to them in Federal Election Commission (FEC) reports filed by ActBlue. His committee, which oversees election integrity issues, has “activated a full investigation.”
“My concern is that individuals are outside the jurisdiction in the United States who may be engaged in this,” Steil told the "Just the News, No Noise" television show.
“We need to make sure that we're avoiding, in particular, foreign interference in American elections in a period of time when the Biden administration and radical Democrats are happy to do the opposite,” he added.
The Democratic Party has a long history of scandal when it comes to illegal foreign donations. During Bill Clinton’s 1996 re-election campaign, the Democrats were caught accepting hundreds of thousands of donations from suspect or “straw donors” who were reimbursed by foreigners tied to China, prompting one of the biggest scandals of the last half century.
Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign got a black eye for similar problems when an Indian-American fund-raiser pleaded guilty to funneling straw donations to her 2008 campaign.
Fast forward to 2024, and Congress and the attorneys general of Texas, Missouri and Virginia have opened investigations into ActBlue after multiple reports of people claiming they did not make contributions attributed to them.
ActBlue is one of the Democrats’ most prolific digital fundraising platforms, reporting a total of $493 million in donations raised in July alone. It focuses on small-dollar donors and did not respond to a request from Just the News for comment. However, it has long called allegations against it "dubious" and vowed to cooperate with various investigations to clear its name.
"This investigation is nothing more than a partisan political attack and scare tactic to undermine the power of Democratic and progressive small-dollar donors. We welcome the opportunity to respond to these frivolous claims," ActBlue wrote in a statement after Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares announced an inquiry this month.
Rep. Steil wrote to the Federal Election Commission last week asking it to impose emergency rules that would bolster donor verification and prevent cheating by anonymous donors who place their cash in the names of others.
“Following widespread allegations of fraudulent donations being reported to the FEC by ActBlue, one of the largest fundraising platforms in the country, this emergency rule-making is necessary to reassure the American people that ActBlue is taking the necessary steps to protect its donors,” Steil told the FEC.
Steil told Just the News that he wants two “loopholes” closed that could explain the concerns his committee has identified: the use of anonymous gift cards to make political contributions and the failure of PACs like ActBlue to require Card Verification Value (CVV) numbers when processing donations.
“We continue to get evidence that individuals have come forward and are noting that there are donations in their name that they did not make,” he said. “I'm of the belief that these loopholes that we've identified might be the culprit.
“The easy answer here is for the FEC to take emergency action and ban the use of anonymous gift cards in any online donation to any politician across the board, and it's the concern that we have with ActBlue, with their weak protocols, as relates to not using a CVV number and allowing these anonymous gift cards.”
Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has also pressed election regulators to require the CVV number in all transactions, saying he had learned that “alarming reports emerged of fraudulent donations being reported to the FEC by ActBlue.”

This isn’t like any previous Trump commercial that I’ve seen. It doesn’t have the usual blurb at the end, “This commercial has been approved by the Donald Trump for president campaign,” or whatever it is that they usually say, which makes me suspect this was the effort of an outside group.
I also can’t imagine he would accept images that were entirely of 1950s white suburbanites, suggesting that the outside group is malevolent rather than admiring.

The company installed CEO Jochen Zeitz who represents everything the brand’s core base is against — climate change, trans care for kids, DEI efforts, and other woke policies.
Now I should mention that Blackrock owned an 8% share in Harley Davidson, the fund that has forced businesses to comply with "woke social scores" to secure funding. After installing Zeitz, the company suddenly partnered with United Way and the Human Rights Campaign. The CEI (Corporate Equality Index) was created by the HRC (Human Rights Campaign), a massive international political lobbying group that pushes the woke agenda aggressively and is funded by Soros. The CEI judges a company’s woke rating, while the ESG encompasses everything.

These companies are not trying to appease the LGBTQ+ community; they’re trying to appease BlackRock so that they can maintain high social credit scores and maintain funding. And who is Blackrock trying to appease? The World Economic Forum, where current CEO Jochen Zeitz was once employed. He took it upon himself to fund "The B Team" which aims to force businesses to adopt social policies.

Blackrock and others have tried to move away from the disastrous CEI score but something behind the curtain is forcing these companies to comply. The B Team is working toward Agenda 2030, which seems foolish to align a fossil-fuel driven company with climate initiatives.
There is an ulterior motive that is forcing these companies to go woke, but what is the alternative? We see what has happened with Budweiser, Target, Starbucks, John Deere, the list goes on. Now, Harley owners are selling their bikes and vowing never to buy from the company again. Employees at the company are being forced to undergo DEI training and take classes to become an LGBTQ ally. But the company is now appeasing the WEF and Blackrock with its Human Rights Campaign social CEI score of 90.

The group's units occupied more advantageous positions, inflicted defeat on the formations of the 24th, 32nd, 100th Mechanized, 95th Airborne Assault brigades, 109th and 111th Territorial Defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 14th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk, Kalinovo, Grodovka, Novgorodskoye, Rusin Yar and Druzhba.
Two counterattacks by assault groups of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade and the Lyut Assault Brigade were repelled.
The enemy lost up to 350 servicemen. A tank, an M-113 armored personnel carrier, a Kozak combat armored vehicle, three cars, an M777 howitzer, a 152mm Giatsint-B cannon, and two 122mm D-30 howitzers were destroyed.
Air defense systems shot down two Hummer guided bombs and four unmanned aerial vehicles.
