The Israeli Air Force carried out massive targeted airstrikes in the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Friday evening, with the military saying it had struck Hezbollahโs main headquarters.
The attack shook the Lebanese capital and sent thick clouds of smoke over the city. There were reports of many casualties in the multiple strikes.
Unconfirmed Hebrew media reports said Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was targeted, leading to widespread speculation and conflicting reports as to his fate.
A source close to Hezbollah said the Israeli strikes flattened six buildings. It was the heaviest attack in Beirut in almost a year of conflict between Hezbollah and Israel.
A Lebanese security source told Reuters that Hezbollahโs top officials are usually gathered at the site that was targeted.
Underlining the extraordinary nature of the strike, IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari gave an on-camera statement minutes after the strike. Hagari said the main command center was built underneath civilian buildings in the Dahiyeh suburb, a known Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut.
Leading Israeli television networks reported that Nasrallah was the target of the strikes, and that the attack had involved bombs totaling tens of tons of explosives.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu left in the middle of a briefing with Israeli reporters after his speech at the United Nations as news emerged of the strike. Netanyahuโs military secretary whispered something in his ear, before he cut the briefing short and left with his advisors.
The prime minister later announced he would cut short his visit to the United States and would depart for Israel at 3 a.m. (Israel time).
The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah escalated sharply this week, with Israeli airstrikes on the terror group killing more than 700 people in Lebanon. The figure does not distinguish between combatants and civilians. Israel says many of the dead are Hezbollah fighters.
PREPARATIONS FOR GROUND OFFENSIVE
Earlier Friday, the Israeli military said ahead of a potential ground offensive against Hezbollah that it had โgreat confidenceโ in the armyโs ability to carry out a ground maneuver, following experience gained by troops during the past 11 months of fighting in the Gaza Strip.
The IDF indicated that a ground offensive in Lebanon had been fully planned out, and it was being practiced by troops while the fighting was ongoing on several fronts.
The plans included operations in areas near the border as well as deep within Lebanon, according to the military. Still, the IDF aims for such a ground operation to be as short as possible, officials have said.
The IDF also revealed on Friday that on three separate occasions amid the war it was ready to ramp up its offensive actions against Hezbollah, in an operation now known as Northern Arrows which was launched on Monday with nearly 2,000 munitions dropped by the Israeli Air Force on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon within 24 hours โ the most extensive operation carried out by the IAF.
The airstrikes, according to the military, have taken away many of Hezbollahโs rocket, missile, and drone capabilities that it had built up for 20 years, which in turn have now prevented harm to the Israeli home front.
Hezbollah has fired hundreds of rockets at Israel since the fighting escalated, causing several injuries and damage to several towns, but far less extensive than initially anticipated.
The IDF in previous years assessed that Hezbollah would potentially be able to launch thousands of rockets per day at the country during a full-scale war, causing hundreds of casualties. But in the past 11 months of fighting on the northern border, Hezbollahโs capabilities were slowly โpeeledโ away, according to the military.
In the past 10 days, since diverting its focus to Lebanon, the IDF said that it has made significant achievements, including killing top Hezbollah commanders, eliminating the leadership of the terror groupโs elite Radwan Force, and striking thousands of sites where Hezbollah stored arms.
But the IDF stressed on Friday that โthere is still more work to be done, and we cannot stop here.โ
Following the assassination of the head of Hezbollahโs aerial forces, Mohammed Srur, on Thursday, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi also said the military must continue to strike the terror group.
โWe need to continue attacking Hezbollah. We have been waiting for this opportunity for years,โ Halevi said following an assessment, in remarks provided by the IDF, hinting that the military was against a ceasefire at this stage.
Once the fighting is over, the IDF said that it would need to enforce any ceasefire agreement with firepower and prevent Hezbollah from re-establishing itself close to Israeli border communities.
Also on Friday, the IDF said it had completed the mobilization of two reserve brigades โ the Etzioni and Alon brigades โ that were sent to northern Israel to bolster troops there, amid the possibility of a ground offensive.
These are JDAMs using either BLU-95 500 lb (230 kg) (FAE-II) BLU-96 2,000 lb (910 kg) thermobaric warheads.

[IsraelTimes] The IDF is calling on Lebanese civilians near several buildings in the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut, a known Hezbollah stronghold, to evacuate immediately.
Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDFโs Arabic-language spokesman, publishes maps alongside the announcement, which call on civilians to distance themselves at least 500 meters from three sites in Dahiyeh.
The sites are used by Hezbollah, according to the IDF.
โYou are located near Hezbollah properties, and for your safety and the safety of your loved ones, you are obliged to evacuate the buildings immediately and move away from them to a distance of no less than 500 meters,โ Adraee says.

The high winds started here this morning around 6:00 AM with very heavy rain. This is northeast Tennessee. I have had over 7" of rain since Tuesday with a tornado about 15 miles to the east. Lots of trees down with massive flooding in low areas. I lost lots of shingles and there are leaks all over the house. The power went out shortly after 9:00 AM and came back on about 45 minutes ago. But there are no deaths and nowhere near the devastation in Florida and Georgia.

In what can only be described as โunbelievableโ, โnumbingโ or โstunningโ, an emergency status complaint has been filed with the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) and their Administrator of Elections, Meagan Wolfe, by the Republican National Committee (RNC) involving โinactiveโ (ineligible) voters receiving absentee ballots over the last week in Wisconsin.
The RNC is asking for an emergency response from WEC by the close of business on Friday, September 27th, to address this potentially egregious matter before itโs too late to be corrected in time for the Presidential Election on November 5th.
Wisconsin has been the center of multiple questionable election integrity issues over the last 4 years that included this past week where over 2,000 absentee ballots were mailed to โeligible electorsโ twice in the City of Madison the Mayor of Wausau had to remove an absentee ballot drop box and Wisconsin Congressman Steil has been instrumental in getting to the bottom of what appears to be a โmoney launderingโ campaign finance scheme by democrats.
In the most recent election integrity development, the RNC has uncovered the following of what appears to be a major security breach of the WisVote database involving the mailing of absentee ballots to โinactiveโ (ineligible) individuals this past week:
RNC purchased the current 7.8 +/- [million] names in the WisVote database for $12,500.00.
The WisVote database currently has 3.4 +/- million โactive/eligibleโ elector names and 4.4 +/- million โinactive/ineligibleโ names in the same database that can moved between the two buckets with a click of a keyboard entry if authorized credentials are legally used.
Wisconsinโs population is 5.9 million.
4.6 million Wisconsin residents are of voting age population (VAP).
3.4 +/- million Wisconsin residents are currently reported to be registered to vote as an โactive/eligibleโ elector.
Wisconsin mails absentee ballots 45-47 days before the Presidential Election.
These absentee ballots are automatically mailed to individuals that legally qualify as โindefinitely confinedโ per state law and donโt require a photo ID or signing of a poll book the day of the election.
Approximately 140,000 +/- individuals were mailed an absentee ballot last week that are designated as โindefinitely confinedโ.
A total of 418,786 absentee ballots have been mailed since last week.
A total of 27,907 absentee ballots have been returned over the last week through the USPS, drop boxes and or in-person to Clerks across Wisconsin.
Wisconsin does not process absentee ballots until election day at the precinct level or at the 38 communities (1,852 communities in total) across Wisconsin through Central Count locations.
Wisconsin processed just under 2 million absentee ballots in 2020 out of a total of 3.3 million ballots or 60%.
WEC issued very liberal โguidanceโ to Clerks across Wisconsin in 2020 to process absentee ballots even if those absentee ballot certificates were missing required statutory information.
Only 4,270 absentee ballots were rejected in 2020 for missing statutory required information or .002%.
Normal absentee ballot rejection rates are in the 2%-3% range.
An apparent activist Dane County Circuit Court Judge recently ordered WEC to implement very liberal guidance to Clerks across Wisconsin regarding the processing of absentee ballots missing required statutory information on the absentee ballot certificate (click here โ Dane County judge says absentee ballots with incomplete witness address must be counted โ WPR).
Absentee ballots are collected in Wisconsin through the USPS, drop boxes, long-term facilities, early in-person or dropped off at the Clerkโs Office or Absentee Ballot Central Count location.
Early in-person voting, recorded as an absentee ballot, starts on October 22nd in Wisconsin that requires the elector to present a photo ID and sign the poll book.
Wisconsin was reported to have been decided by 20,682 votes in 2020.
The RNC data analysts have uncovered, in part, the following information from a very preliminary cursory look at the WisVote database regarding absentee ballots being mailed to โinactive/ineligibleโ individuals this past week:
1,033 total absentee ballots mailed to โinactive/ineligibleโ individuals in the WisVote database since last week.
456 absentee ballots mailed to โdeceasedโ inactive individuals.
633 absentee ballots mailed to โmergedโ inactive individuals with multiple addresses.
86 absentee ballots mailed to โmovedโ inactive individuals.
15 absentee ballots mailed to an โundeliverableโ address for inactive individuals.
10 absentee ballots mailed to an โadministrative actionโ (mentally incompetent) inactive individual.
The RNC, in part, is asking for an emergency response from WEC by the close of business on Friday, September 27th, for the following:
Can โinactiveโ individuals in the WisVote database legally request and receive an absentee ballot?
How will WEC process these absentee ballots from an โinactiveโ individual if they are already co-mingled with the thousands of ballots already returned?
How will WEC address the processing of potential multiple absentee ballots being sent to one individual?
What can the public do to immediately protect the integrity of the administration of Wisconsinโs 2024 Presidential Election?

According to an official statement from the Office of the Mayor of New York, Adams felt that it was his duty to make sure that the Big Apple would always remain welcoming of public officials, especially those who could be at a disadvantage because of an indictment from a federal grand jury.
"Here in New York, we believe that all people belong and are to be welcomed," Adams said. "Especially mayors. And most especially those mayors, who may hypothetically be facing federal prosecution after taking a hardline stance on some theoretical border policy. We think they belong too. This is their safe space."
Political experts hailed the announcement as a shrewd move. "Well played, Mayor Adams. A brilliant chess move," one analyst said. "As we've already learned, once you declare a place to be a sanctuary city, people can avoid being held accountable for any crimes they've committed once they get there. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer had a two-hour dinner with President Donald Trump after the U.K leader delivered a speech to the United Nations in New York. However, intentionally unnoticed by U.S. media, the Prime Minister immediately left the U.S. following the lengthy meeting with President Trump, and never met with Kamala Harris.
The extensive discussion and dinner took place in New York, apparently at Trump Tower. There is an aspect of typical British worry woven throughout British media reporting on the meeting because U.K. Foreign Secretary David Lammy, also attended the meeting. Every vote counts. That's especially true for Montana Democrat Jon Tester, who faces the toughest Senate reelection race in the country this Novemberโwhich may help explain why he privately met with a professional pole dancer earlier this month.
Testerโs public schedule reveals a private meeting with Tiffany Rose and Jamie Goguen on Sept. 19, between two Senate floor sessions. Rose is a Montana resident and self-described "pole dance instructor" with tens of thousands of followers on social media.
Cโmon, heโs just looking for an in with his voters. Nothing salacious about that, right?
A spokeswoman for Tester did not respond to a request for comment.
Such a meeting is peculiar for Tester, who represents a deep-red state. His Republican opponent, businessman Tim Sheehy, has led in a string of recent polls with a message that Tester is "too liberal for Montana."
The topic of their meeting appears to be abortion. Rose, in a statement to the Washington Free Beacon, said she is a "new member/volunteer on the Leadership Council for Reproductive Freedom for All."
"I got to meet Senator Tester and his team. I shook his hand and thanked him for his support on this salient freedom issue while visiting D.C," Rose said.
The Leadership Council for Reproductive Freedom for All describes itself as "the nationโs only cross-state network for state legislators who support reproductive health, rights, and justice." The organizationโs political arm endorsed Tester in December 2023 and said the senator "remains committed to locking the right to abortion into federal law."
Rose appears to be a local celebrity of sorts. She has more than 19,000 followers on Instagram, where she regularly posts raunchy videos of her acrobatics on a stripper pole.
Roseโs performances have led to two professional sponsorships, her Instagram states. A link in her Instagram bio directs to a variety of online pole dancing classes, with options such as "feel sexy on the floor" and "hot pole girl summer."

A Japanese warship has sailed through the Taiwan Strait between Taiwan and China for the first time, prompting Beijing to lodge complaints with Tokyo.
The JS Sazanami, a naval destroyer, travelled south through the strait on Wednesday, accompanied by ships from Australia and New Zealand.
It was on its way to military exercises in the South China Sea, Japanese media reported government ministers saying.
The passage is a significant move by Japan, which is thought to have avoided sailing its ships through the strait in order not to upset China, which claims self-governed Taiwan and the strait.
Japan's government has declined to comment on the ship, citing military operation discretion.
But China on Thursday confirmed its military had responded to "the activities of a Japanese Self-Defence Force ship entering the Taiwan Strait".
"China is highly vigilant about the political intentions of Japan's actions and has lodged stern representations with Japan," foreign ministry spokesman Lin Jian said.
Chinese state newspaper Global Times, citing an unnamed source, said the Chinese military "conducted tracking and monitoring throughout [the vessels'] entire course and had the situation under control".
There has been an increase in patrols by the US and its allies to assert their freedom of navigation in the 180km (112-mile) Taiwan Strait.
Both the US and Taiwan say it is a key shipping and trade route through which about half of the global container fleet passes, and is part of international waters and is open to all naval vessels.
Beijing, which claims sovereignty and jurisdiction over the strait, disagrees.
For decades the US Pacific fleet was the only foreign navy that regularly transited the strait. But recently, it was joined by Canada and Australia, Britain and France. Two weeks ago Germany sailed two navy ships through the strait for the first time in decades.
China's military accused Germany of increasing security risks by sailing though the strait on 13 September, but Berlin said it acted in accordance with international standards. It was the first time in 22 years for a German naval vessel to traverse the strait.
These transits are highly political and designed to show China that America and its allies do not accept Beijingโs claims.
For Japan, it is also another big step away from its long-held policy of not directly challenging China.
On Thursday, Japanโs chief cabinet secretary did not confirm details of the naval operation, but he said Japan felt a strong sense of crisis after repeated airspace violations by the Chinese military, which he said had occurred one after another over a short period of time.
Taiwan has not commented on the passage, but its defence ministry said on Wednesday that it saw a surge in the number of Chinese military planes operating around the island.
Bec Strating, an international relations professor at La Trobe University in Australia, said Japan's reported transit is "part of a broader pattern of greater naval presence by countries in and beyond Asia that are concerned about China's maritime assertions".
"Japan in particular has been dealing with China's 'grey zone' tactics in the East China Sea," she told AFP news agency.
Grey zone warfare tactics are aimed at weakening an adversary over a prolonged period of time, analysts say.
Last week, Beijing sent an aircraft carrier between two Japanese islands near Taiwan for the first time. In August, a Chinese spy plane flew inside Japan's airspace, prompting Tokyo to condemn the incursion as "utterly unacceptable" and a "serious violation of sovereignty".
The leaders of the Quad group of nations - Japan, Australia, India and the US - said last week that they would expand cooperation on maritime security to counter China's increasing assertiveness in the South China Sea.

In a brief submitted in July to the Appellate Division โ the mid-level state appeals court โ Trumpโs lawyers argued that the financial statements he submitted to banks actually understated his wealth, and there was no indication that any of the lenders were financially harmed.
His legal team has also claimed Jamesโ suit against Trump was politically motivated.

An Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... killed a senior Hezbollah leader in a strike on Beirutโs southern suburbs on Thursday afternoon, the military said, with fighting between Israel and the Iran-backed terror group showing little sign of slowing as an international bid to secure a ceasefire appeared to fall apart.
Sources said the strike in the Hezbollah stronghold of Dahiyeh targeted the head of Hezbollahโs aerial forces, largely responsible for the terror groupโs drone fleet along with cruise missiles and aerial defenses.
A Lebanese security source close to the group confirmed that the attack had been aimed at a Hezbollah commander, AFP reported.
An "Israeli strike targeted the commander of Hezbollahโs drone unit, Mohammed Srur, known as Abu Saleh, whose fate is still unclear," the source said, requesting anonymity as they were not authorized to speak to the media.

The attack marked at least the fourth time Israel has targeted the groupโs top commanders in recent days, including a Tuesday strike on rocket and missile chief Ibrahim Qubaisi and a Friday attack on Ibrahim Aqil, the head of Hezbollahโs military operations. Both were killed.
Also Thursday, Israel said its warplanes had pounded targets across southern Lebanon and on the Syria-Lebanon border, and Hezbollah fired dozens of projectiles at northern Israeli cities.
A volley of some 45 rockets toward the coastal Israeli city of Acre Thursday morning ended a rare 19-hour lull in Hezbollah fire at northern Israel that had briefly bolstered hopes for an internationally brokered halt to the fighting. The IDF said several of the rockets were intercepted and the rest landed in open areas. Videos showed some projectiles splashing into the Mediterranean Sea.
Another 10 rockets were fired at Kiryat Shmona a short time later, the IDF said, and Hezbollah claimed it fired volleys of Falaq-2s at the city.
A single rocket launched toward Safed around the same time was swatted down by air defenses, the army said.
No injuries or damage were reported in the attacks.
Earlier, Lebanese officials said an overnight Israeli airstrike on a building housing Syrian workers and their families killed up to 23 people near Baalbek on the Lebanon-Syria border, marking one of the deadliest single strikes reported in the intensified air campaign against the Hezbollah terror group. Ali Qusas, the mayor of Younine, said most of the dead in the strike on a three-story building in the town were women and kiddies. Lebanon is home to around 1.5 million Syrians who fled civil war there, though thousands of Lebanese have fled to Syria in recent days.
There was no comment on the strike from Israel, which said it hit around 75 Hezbollah targets overnight in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, a Hezbollah stronghold near the Syrian frontier. The targets included terrorists, military buildings and weapons depots, the army said, publishing footage of the strikes.
The army said later Thursday it had also carried out a strike on the Lebanese-Syria border targeting a shipment of weapons slated to be used against Israel. Lebanese transport minister Ali Hamieh said the strike hit the Syrian end of a small bridge that provides a crossing into Lebanon. He did not immediately know whether the crossing was still usable.
Israel says it takes pains to avoid civilian casualties, warning Lebanese to leave areas where Hezbollah could be housing weapons before launching its intensified campaign on Monday, which largely targeted residential buildings. The IDF accuses Hezbollah of using civilians as human shields by hiding missiles and other weapons in homes.
On Wednesday, it published before-and-after images of homes it had struck in recent days in the villages of Maifadoun, Houmayri, Baraachit and Tayr Debba, which it said showed evidence that Hezbollah had stored munitions and rocket launchers inside them.

[GEO.TV] Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz on Thursday rejected proposals for a ceasefire with Hezbollah after the United States and France called for a 21-day halt in fighting that has killed hundreds in Lebanon and raised fears of a ground invasion.
"There will be no ceasefire in the north. We will continue to fight against the Hezbollah organisation with all our strength until victory and the safe return of the residents of the north to their homes," Katz said in a statement on the social media platform X.
The comments dashed hopes for a swift peaceful settlement, after Prime Minister Najib Mikati had expressed hope that a ceasefire could be reached soon in Lebanon, where hundreds of thousands of people have fled their homes seeking safety.
Before the current proposal for a temporary Israel-Hezbollah truce to facilitate negotiations for a full ceasefire, disagreements between the sides sunk earlier efforts for an immediate resolution to the conflict, according to the Arabic-language, London-based news site Asharq Al-Awsat.
Citing an unnamed Lebanese official familiar with the negotiations, the outlet says the earlier proposal was focused on establishing a new mechanism for enforcing UN Security Council Resolution 1701 from 2006, which stipulates that Hezbollah must move some 30 kilometers north of the border with Israel.
However, Hezbollah only agreed to discuss this if it was linked to a ceasefire in Gaza, which Israel rejected, causing those talks to break down.

Discussions then got underway on a temporary ceasefire during which a more permanent arrangement could be negotiated. This intended arrangement would be based on ongoing efforts by US envoy Amos Hochstein and on UN Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 Lebanon war, and also on the Gaza hostage-ceasefire proposal unveiled by Biden at the end of May, the TV report said.
This broad framework was intended to enable Israel to say it had separated the northern front crisis from Gaza, while Hezbollah could argue that it was ceasing its attacks because the Gaza war would be coming to an end.
Amid the talk of a ceasefire, some 25 rockets were launched from Lebanon at the Lower Galilee in the evening, setting off sirens in several towns and injuring one person.
According to the military, the rockets all struck open areas.
Paramedics treated a 45-year-old man who was moderately wounded by shrapnel in the attack, the Magen David Adom ambulance service said in a statement.
An Israeli Air Force drone struck the launcher used in the attack a short while later, the IDF said.
Overall Thursday, Hezbollah launched more than 175 rockets at northern Israel, while the Israeli military said fighter jets struck some 220 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon throughout the day. A military statement said the strikes in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley targeted buildings used by Hezbollah, rocket launchers used in attacks on northern Israel, weapon depots, and operatives.
In preparation for a further escalation of the conflict, troops of the IDFโs 7th Armored Brigade wrapped up a drill simulating a ground offensive in Lebanon, the military said.
Since Israel escalated its airstrikes on the Hezbollah terror group on Monday, more than 630 people have been killed in Lebanon, according to the countryโs health ministry, which does not distinguish between civilians and combatants.

Many high-level Russian officials in recent days have expressed support for this corridor, which will link Azerbaijan to Russia and Turkey, bypassing Armenian checkpoints. Iran is extremely unhappy with Russiaโs support for this corridor, as it would sever the geographic connection between Yerevan and Tehran if this corridor is under Azerbaijani sovereignty rather than Armenian rule.
An official in the Iranian Foreign Ministry told the Middle East Eye: "As the supreme leader has emphasized, our border with Armenia must remain intact and any corridor should be established with that in mind... Our military power would only be deployed in response to any attempt to sever Iranโs border with Armenia."

THE ATTEMPTED OVERTHROW OF THE ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT
WHILE TEHRAN is fuming over Putinโs support for using the Zangezur Corridor, Russia has attempted to overthrow the Armenian government and replace it with a more friendly regime. In a recent statement, the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia said seven people would be charged with "preparing to usurp power... using violence and the threat of violence to take over the powers of government."
Politico reported that six Armenians were recruited to undergo three months of training in Russia and were paid monthly salaries of 220,000 rubles ($2,377) while learning how to use weaponry. They also reportedly underwent background checks and polygraph tests to determine their allegiance, before being transferred to the Arbat military base in Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia.
It appears that Moscow wanted to replace the Pashinyan government because they withdrew from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which the Armenian government views to be "creating threats to Armeniaโs security, continued existence and statehood." Armenia was one of the founding members of the CSTO, established in 1992 following the collapse of the Soviet Union. In addition to Russia, the CSTO consists of Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
For decades, Russia had backed Armenia in its conflict with Azerbaijan, enabling the Armenians to control Karabakh and the seven Azerbaijani districts in violation of four UN Security Council resolutions for 30 years. Putinโs ties with the Caucuses country began to deteriorate after the Pashinyan government took over in 2018; this trend further continued after Azerbaijanโs victory during the second Karabakh War and the subsequent military operation that took place after that. The Armenians felt that the Russians were not supportive enough in this conflict.
Despite that the Pashinyan government is closer to the West and Iran than it is to Moscow presently, it is critical to recall that trade relations between Armenia and Russia remain strong, despite the recent coup attempt. Armenia remains the main hub for circumventing the Westโs anti-Russian sanctions.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk cited the following figures during his recent visit to Yerevan: "In 2023, the volume of mutual trade between Armenia and Russia increased by 55.8%, reaching $7.4 billion. This year, the growth rate is even higher; in the first half of the year, the trade turnover was $8.4 billion, and by the end of the year we can reach $14-16 billion. For comparison, in 2020, this volume was only $2.3 billion."
ccording to Overchuk, by the end of 2024, the volume of trade turnover between Armenia and Russia may reach $14 to $16 billion. Overchuk noted that the economic cooperation between the two countries is developing dynamically and covers almost all sectors of the economy.
It is obvious that the Armenian economy, given its small volume, does not have its own resources for such trade turnover. A paradoxical picture emerges when on the one hand the West finances Ukraineโs resistance against Russian aggression, and on the other hand allows Armenia to make money on this very aggression, actually encouraging re-export schemes through Armenia, allowing the Russian economy to continue the war against Ukraine.
At the same time, the leading American PR agency Edelman is openly working for Russian Armenian oligarch Ruben Vardanyan. It is noteworthy that while commenting on the unnaturally growing trade turnover between Armenia and Russia, as well as the increasing military cooperation between Russia and Armenia, the US State Department in September officially called it "Armeniaโs sovereign right."
However, some Western commentators have been critical of Putinโs recent visit to Azerbaijan, claiming that Baku is taking a pro-Russian and anti-Western stance, while remaining silent on all of the ongoing trade between Armenia and Russia. This represents a double standard.

Former FBI staff operations specialist Marcus Allen gave stunning testimony Wednesday, outlining how the FBI targets and persecutes anyone inside the institution who does not align with the institutional mission of domination over the American public.
Marcus Allen, now a January 6th whistleblower, appeared next to Inspector General Michael Horowitz who has investigated the claims by Allen. IG Horowitz internal investigation is not yet complete; however, the inspector general confirmed how the whistleblowers inside the FBI were targeted for speaking up against the FBI manipulation and corruption they encountered. Inspector General Horowitz sitting beside Marcus Allen to confirm his testimony was unprecedented.
Allen knew that Confidential Human Sources (CHS) were used by the FBI during the J6 events, and FBI Director Chris Wray lied about it. The institutional accusations against Allen stemmed from a Sept. 29, 2021, email that he forwarded to supervisors and colleagues at the Charlotte FBI Field Office, which included hyperlinks to what was later flagged as โextremist propagandaโ from โquestionable sources.โ Allen had his security clearance revoked and was placed on suspension.

The FBI has two ways to protect the interests of DC: (1) Defend by investigating the accuser, evidence holder, or person who raises the issue. (2) Defend by non-investigation of the subject matter (Olympic Gymnasts, Epstein, etc). Again, if the institutional interests within DC are threatened by the subject matter, the objective of the FBI is to defend those institutional interests.
The FBI is not a federal investigative agency with a mission to serve and protect the people of the United States. The FBI is a federal investigative agency with a mission to protect the institutional interests of Washington DC. Once you understand this process with clarity then everything the FBI does and does not investigate, makes sense.
This operational mission of the FBI explains why when a citizen brings an issue to the FBI, the citizen is more than likely going to end up as a target. This reality is key to understanding the disparity between what people perceive as the FBI mission, and what the ACTUAL mission is.
This is not some off-the-cuff disparagement or conspiracy theory; this is the fact-based reality of how the FBI works. Even in my own discussions with John Durhamโs FBI investigators, they openly admitted how their operational mission does not permit them to entertain any outside evidence of corruption or wrongdoing within U.S. govt.
When you understand how it works, then you start to realize the futility of expecting any investigative outcome from the FBI toward anything that does not threaten Washington DC. Protecting the DC system IS the goal, the priority, the operational mission; nothing more. Does the FBI inability to track the J6 pipe-bomber make more sense now? There are a tremendous number of examples.
The various FBI offices distributed around the nation are essentially interception venues, constantly on the lookout to protect the interests of DC. Lavid will use 'diagnostic tests, including but not limited to a clinical interview of plaintiff and a testing period during which Dr. Lavid will administer a variety of standardized written tests,' according to the filing.
Byrne stepped down as chief executive of the retail company Overstock in 2019 after the share price dropped when he started making cryptic comments about the 'deep state'.
He also admitted in a letter to investors in August that year that he had a romance with Maria Butina, a Russian agent subsequently jailed for illegal influence peddling.
Hunter's suit against Byrne is one of several civil actions the First Son is still embroiled in, after receiving two guilty verdicts in the federal gun and tax crimes cases he faced this year.

At the start of the campaign to create a new team for von der Leyen, the Romanian Prime Minister publicly stated that his country was fighting for the position of European Commissioner for the Economy. He probably also proceeded from preliminary behind-the-scenes agreements. Moreover, the biography of Ciolacu himself is quite suitable for illustrating both hypotheses. He began his political career in the Romanian Communist Party, then ended up in the National Salvation Front and even participated in the events of 1989, and later became a member of the PSD.

Jose, 39, disappeared while on a work trip to the US last week. He is a founder of a Bulgarian company that was reportedly part of the pager supply chain.
Asked what they were doing to find Jose, police said in an email to Rooters: "Yesterday, September 25, the Oslo police district received a missing person report in connection with the pager case."
"A missing persons case has been opened, and we have sent out an international warrant for the person," it added.
The Norwegian criminal police, Kripos, which handles international requests, confirmed to Rooters that the request had been sent, declining to elaborate.
When a person is missing abroad, Kripos would normally issue a global alert, or so-called "yellow notice," but could also contact its foreign counterparts directly depending on circumstances, its spokesperson told Rooters earlier.
Interpol was not immediately available for comment.

The Shin Bet and Israel Police thwarted a planned terror bombing and shooting attack at Jewish holy sites in the north last month, security forces announced in a joint statement on Thursday.
The agencies said they arrested Basel Abahara, a 23-year-old Galilee resident who planned the attack, and two minors in mid-August. An indictment was filed against them this week charging them with preparing an act of terrorism and producing weapons.

Finally, Abbas presented what he said was a 12-point vision for the post-war management of Gaza, welcoming its review and amendment by the international community. "I was raised in a middle-class family..."
The first clause of the plan, he said, requires a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and an end to attacks by Israeli settlers against Paleostinians in the West Bank.
The second clause requires humanitarian aid to be delivered en masse throughout Gaza.
Third, Israel must fully withdraw its forces from Gaza, without establishing any buffer zones, and allow displaced Paleostinians to return to their homes, or at least to the since-razed towns where they lived before the war.
Fourth, the UN agency for Paleostinian refugees, UNRWA, must be protected and allowed to continue operating, despite Israeli efforts to close it down due to accusations that some of its members took part in the October 7 attacks, and that Hamas has infiltrated it more broadly.
Fifth, Abbas called for "international protection for the Paleostinians on their occupied land," saying, "We are not fighting Israel. We cannot fight Israel, and we donโt want to fight, but we want protection."
Sixth, the Paleostinian government must have jurisdiction over the entirety of the Gaza Strip, including the Rafah Border Crossing and other entry points, Abbas said.
Seventh, the PA will continue its efforts to engage in a "comprehensive national reform process."
Abbas said Ramallahโs work on reform has been hailed by countries around the world and that it will be essential to rebuilding infrastructure in Gaza destroyed during the war.
Eighth, the Paleostinian government will be the sole representative body for Paleostinians in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem and will have authority over all of those territories.
"We will not ask for more, but we will not accept any less," Abbas said, adding that he is still prepared to hold national elections if Israel allows balloting to take place in East Jerusalem.
Ninth, the Paleostinians will continue in their bid to obtain full-member status at the UN.
Tenth, the UN General Assembly resolution ordering an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem within a year must be fully implemented in order to actualize a two-state solution.
Eleventh, an international peace conference must be held within a year to implement the two-state vision.
And twelfth, international peacekeeping forces must be established to protect the people of both countries.
"These are the elements of our vision for the day after... And I call upon you to adopt this plan and to provide all the necessary means to guarantee its success," Abbas said.
Danny Danon, Israelโs UN ambassador, responded to Abbasโs speech within minutes with a critical assessment. "Abbas spoke for 26 minutes and did not say the word โHamasโ once."
"Since the massacre of October 7, Abbas has failed to condemn Hamas for their crimes against humanity," Danon said.
"Only when he stands on the UN platform does he talk about a peaceful solution," he continued. "There is no greater hypocrisy and lie than this: Abbasโs legacy is one of chronic weakness in the face of terrorism and hatred."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in New York on Thursday shortly before Abbas spoke, and is set to deliver his own address to the General Assembly on Friday.

Israeli air defenses intercepted a surface-to-surface missile fired from Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... , the military said after sirens were activated in Tel Aviv and across central Israel early Friday morning.
The Israel Defense Forces said the missile was downed "outside the country’s borders" by the long-range Arrow air defense system, adding that warning alerts were triggered due to concerns about falling shrapnel from the interception.
The IDF also said there were no new instructions from the Home Front Command following the attack.
There were no reports of direct impacts from the shrapnel and no one was directly hurt by falling debris, though the Magen David Adom ambulance service said a 17-year-old girl was moderately hurt after being struck by a car pulling to the side of the road amid the attack.
