[PJMedia] Just when you think you’ve seen it all, the people who run Twitter find another way to surprise and disgust you.
This week, PJ Media reported on the story of a young, Washington state mother of two who died from the Covid shot made by Johnson and Johnson.
In an obituary published in her hometown Oregon newspaper, Jessica Berg Wilson’s family stated that she was killed by the "vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia caused by the Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine."
She had been vehemently opposed to taking the vaccine, knowing she was in good health and of a young age and thus not at risk for serious illness. In her mind, the known and unknown risks of the unproven vaccine were more of a threat. But, slowly, day by day, her freedom to choose was stripped away. Her passion to be actively involved in her children’s education—which included being a Room Mom—was, once again, blocked by government mandate.
Jessica died from "COVID-19 Vaccine-Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT) surrounded by her loving family. Jessica was an exceptionally healthy and vibrant 37-year-old young mother with no underlying health conditions." She died after having a reaction to the J & J shot and after going to the University of Washington Medical Center twice to seek help.
Twitter "fact-checked" Jessica’s obituary and called the stated cause of her death "misleading." It began censoring and muting her obituary over the weekend.
Twitter treated Jessica’s death like it treated the very true Hunter Biden laptop story. It pretended it didn’t happen.
The company disappeared her death, her pain, and the truth.
By Monday, the gods at Twitter had removed the "misleading" label.
See? If you can’t see the censor’s "misleading" label over a post anymore by Monday, then no harm, right?
But, of course, had the social media giant allowed the story to be told and if people had been able to share the story, then perhaps someone else’s life might have been saved. If people had been able to interact with the story, maybe they would have learned that there was no reason the young woman really needed to have a shot for a virus that stood little chance of making her any more sick than the common flu, if that.
But the doctors at Twitter are just so much smarter than the rest of us.
Wilson’s husband, who was with her during her last hours, told The Defender that Jessica’s reaction to the vaccine has been reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).
"My view on this whole story is — I want the world leaders to take notice because Jessica’s life is irreplaceable. There was a high value on her life and what she did for our family and for others. She touched a lot of people and there’s no replacing Jessica.
"I just hope that those people who are in control, who are setting these mandates at the top, are listening to her story and how we can protect the next Jessica from having to take this vaccine should they not think it’s necessary for them."
Wilson said physicians at the hospital "100%" recognized she had a vaccine adverse event and told him they reported it to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) managed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Jessica’s VAERS report was entered into the agency’s system on Sept. 8. Her VAERS ID number is 1683324. Her family to date has not been contacted by any government officials.

[American Thinker] During the 1980s, I compared my beloved South Africa’s situation in Africa to that of the U.S. in its global position (with about 5% of world population). But I didn't know much about the latter.
Parameters such as demographic size, population diversity, infrastructure, economy, education and health care services, etc., have made the Republic of SA (to this day) the "mini-America" of Africa.
Of course, the 1980s was the time of utmost "white privilege" in SA, over and above Apartheid attempts to establish a multi-state solution for its profoundly serious social and political problems.
Media coverage then (in newspaper clippings as I tabulated them) described SA’s issues in disjointed African proportions: 70% of printed news focused on SA’s 36 million inhabitants (5% of Africa) and had very little or nothing to say about the circumstances of the other 630 million lives of people living in Africa north of the Limpopo River, all the way up to the Mediterranean Sea. Dictator Moammar Gadhafi of Libya was then almost regarded as a progressive mentor of leaders in Sub-Saharan Africa.
I wrote to the main Chicago Tribune reporter for "Africa" at the time, and the journalist wrote me back saying "maybe only his mother new more about his reporting" than me but it was "editorial policy" to focus on SA in such a manner. The WSJ did print one of my letters to the editor, in 1985 or so, surprisingly titled "Not all of SA’s problems caused by Apartheid."
Lately, serious South African issues, 30 years post-Apartheid, get little mainstream media attention and if any do, most problems are still blamed on Apartheid!
Nevertheless, post-colonial Africa, be it Belgian, French, English or Portuguese, is in deep doo-doo while Africa’s population has more than doubled. You research by measuring the parameters.
During the 1990s I became an U.S. citizen after being recruited as a medical professional in critical care medicine with computer expertise, discovering that with my born and bred "white privilege" conservative background I was more "American" before I really knew much about the U.S. Constitution and, about "exceptionalism." Earlier Afrikaans-speaking generations of mine were mostly farmers ("Boers") .
My for-family (sic) protested, trekked away from, and fought Dutch and British imperialism politics and governance from the late 1600s, pre-U.S. Declaration of Independence 1776 America, pre-French Revolution 1789, and through the 1800s (the U.S. Civil War 1861-1865), with an Afrikaner nationalistic reformed (religious) conservative passion, making the best of caring for themselves.
In the new post-Apartheid SA, fending for yourself and not expecting the government to do it for you, as well as not plundering, are Boer values and individual attributes not appreciated much. (Thus, my inbred "American sentiments" before my geographic relocation).
My grandparents survived the Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902, when the British attempted to force Afrikaners how to better rule and dig (for diamonds & gold). In the process thousands of women and children died in the concentration camps, created in (yet) a "slash-and-burn" fight for control of what was to become South Africa. Not funny how the British kept on doing what England could not accomplish in America, pre-1776-1789.
My instinctive South African African-perspective sense during the 1980s and 1990s was that the U.S.’s global relationships could deteriorate and serious external threats could develop so the U.S. had to be ready for the challenges. Today, little did I know, the biggest threats to my now-beloved U.S. are "internal." The speculative 1980s statements I made about future "double trouble" for the U.S. have come to haunt me.
To paraphrase a recent AT article: No nation has done better at trying to cultivate and safeguard the "unalienable" freedoms of every person over time and through hardship. That alone is has made the U.S. exceptional.
However, "woke," anti-"white privilege" and "racism" politics, and associated actions or inaction (problems of commission and omission) now seriously endanger the U.S.’s stability, and things may well get worse before they get better. Who could have imagined?
May the Lord shine His light upon us and help us all ... to "intellectually cultivate, safeguard and fight for principles" which made America great and, the world a better place!
[Breitbart] Most Americans want to live in attractive and safe neighborhoods regardless of their ethnic background and most also believe single family homes offer those benefits. But an arm of the left-wing University of California at Berkeley claims these neighborhoods' legacy is racist.
The Builder website reported in 2013 that the majority of Americans prefer single family homes, according to a 2011 Community Preference Survey from the National Association of Realtors:
Detached, single-family homes are the end goal for the majority of Americans. While 80 percent of the population would prefer to live in a single-family home, seven in ten Americans (70 percent) actually do. Apartment and condo living is only preferred by 8 percent of the population, yet two in 10 Americans (17 percent) live in an apartment or condo.
But not just any single-family home will do….Americans also show consensus on certain community factors. 53 percent would like to live in an area that is "away from it all," versus "in the center of it all (34 percent)."
The saying "good fences make good neighbors" rings true to the majority of Americans as well. "Privacy from neighbors" was consider somewhat important to 87 percent of the population, while 45 percent considered privacy very important.

Governor Gavin Newsome waited till after the recall election to remove him from office before signing SB9 which bans single family home zoning in most of California.
I believe this is a power grab by state government.
The state government should not have the power to overrule municipal zoning laws.
I live in a nice single family home city that contracts out for services.
The homes are late 1950's track homes for the aerospace industries of the time.
But now the homes are averaging 3/4 of a million which is almost 50% higher than the 2008 housing bubble again due to investor speculation.
The latest problem is too many cars on the street. It is not easy to have two way traffic with a car or two in front of every home.
It used to be during the day one could drive down a residential street with no cars, but now during the pandemic there are lots of cars at all times.
Although the homes are zoned as single family, many families are extended with children living at home and there is renting garages etc.
Now thanks to Governor Gavin our neighbor or a property investor could sell us out to splitting the lot into two and allowing two dwellings per lot for a quadplex.
About 25 years ago they started permitting two stories which makes a terrible neighbor dwarfing your nice little home.
I thank God only about a few percent went two story and none near me.
But I have had people try to park in front of my home, no thanks!
You can be sure Gavin will be running for president 2024 so your little hamlet is next.

[WashingtonExaminer] A 26-year-old woman was charged in connection to arson during George Floyd riots in St. Louis in 2020.
Nautica Turner conspired with a group to destroy a 7-Eleven, poured lighter fluid inside, and set it on fire, prosecutors said. The alleged incident occurred on June 1, 2020, at the height of protests after Floyd's death.
Turner appeared in federal court Tuesday, Fox 2 Now reported .
On the night of the alleged arson, protesters gathered nearby and blocked Interstate 64. Looters stole goods from the store before setting it on fire.
Turner could face up to five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.

Syrian air defenses responded to alleged Israeli airstrikes targeting Syria's T4 airbase

Hezbollah and Iran hold a notable military presence at the airbase, according to Army Radio.
According to the Lebanese reports, most Israeli missiles were shot down by the Syrian air defenses. The Syrian army confirmed the attack, adding that six Syrian soldiers were injured by the airstrikes and damage has been caused to military equipment.
Earlier on Friday, unidentified aircraft targeted military sites belonging to Iranian militias in Al Bukamal and Deir ez-Zor, Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported.
A fire reportedly broke out at one site, which is in the vicinity of a hospital.
Al Bukamal, near the country's border with Iraq, is under a "state of alert," according to SOHR, as intense shooting was heard throughout the city, reportedly an attempt by the Iranian militia to target the unidentified aircraft.

Nainar Abbas Ali, M Samsun Karim Raja and Dawood Sulaiman, all residents of Tamil Nadu, have been convicted for their involvement in the bomb blast on August 1, 2016, in a public toilet in the court premises at Chamarajapuram in Karnataka's Mysuru city, the NIA official said. Quantum of punishment will be pronounced on October 11, the official said.
The case was registered against unknown accused. Based on the orders of the MHA, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) re-registered the case and took over the investigation.
The bomb blast in the Mysuru court was one among a series of five explosions by the members of Base Movement, an organisation owing allegiance to al-Qaeda, the NIA official said.
In 2016, they had executed a blast at Chittor Court at Nellore in Andhra Pradesh in April, at Kollam court in Kerala in May, again at a Nellore court in September 2016 and at Mallapuram court in Kerala in November 2016, the official said. Ali and Sulaiman had formed the Base Movement in Tamil Nadu in January 2015, inspired by the ideology of al-Qaeda and its leader Osama Bin Laden, according to the NIA official.

Four men in Britannia who were indicted for allegedly shouting antisemitic abuse and threats during a pro-Paleostinian protest in north London earlier this year, appeared in court on Wednesday where their lawyers indicated they would deny the charges.
Mohammed Iftikhar Hanif, 27, Jawaad Hussain, 24, Asif Ali, 25 and Adil Mota, 26, all from the northwestern town of Blackburn, were charged by police last month with "using threatening, abusive or insulting words, or behavior, with intent, likely to stir up racial hatred."
And now we have their names on record.
The men were arrested after a video circulated on social media in May which appeared to show antisemitic abuse being shouted from a car traveling in a convoy decorated with Paleostinian flags.

In the video, cars with Paleostinian flags are seen driving through areas of the British capital with many Jewish residents, while protesters honk their horns and scream "F*** their mothers, rape their daughters."
The four appeared before the Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday only to confirm their identities. Their lawyers indicated they would all be denying the charges police made last month. according to reports.

The temple offered refuge to a couple of hundred Hindus and Sikhs who abandoned their homes since the Taliban took over the country. "Soon after the Taliban marched into Kabul on August 15, hundreds of members of the Sikh and Hindu minorities had taken refuge" in the temple, Indian newspaper the Hindustan Times reported.
The Taliban are preventing Afghanistan’s remaining Hindus and Sikhs from leaving for India. The Hindu-majority country has offered asylum to Afghanistan’s religious monitories, including Sikhs, Hindus, and Christians. "Nearly 240 Afghan Sikhs and Hindus were, however, barred from entering Kabul airport to board the last military evacuation flight from the Afghan capital," the daily confirmed.
Afghanistan’s tiny Sikh community has long been in the cross hairs of the Taliban. In March 2020, a group of Taliban button men attacked another Sikh temple in Kabul, killing 25 worshipers.
The attack comes as the Taliban leadership amps up its rhetoric against the Kuffar, or the non-believers. International relations expert Mohammad Khan Andar said: "The United Nations should reopen UNAMA’s offices in Afghanistan to lay out a proper investigation, otherwise, sending a delegation will not conclude with any positive result."

Children Fund [UNICEF] has accused Islamist gunnies in Mozambique of recruiting children in Cabo Delgado, an oil-rich province in the northern part of the country, which has been causing havoc for a couple of months.
In a statement, UNICEF said it had received numerous reports that the group, commonly known as "Al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord... ", has been recruiting underage children purposely to fight government soldiers. The group is not related to Somalia's al-Shabaab.
The UN agency said the group is also engaging in illegal activities such as sexual violence against girls and maiden of tender yearss, some of who have now been forced into early marriage.
A report compiled by the Human Rights Watch noted that the boys, some as young as 12, are being trained in bases across Cabo Delgado and forced to fight alongside adults against government forces.
James Elder, who is the UNICEF spokesperson said there is no accurate count of the number of children that have been recruited, but it is believed to be in the thousands. According to him, the group has never released captured children.
"The recruitment and use of children by gangs destroy families and communities," Elder said. "Children are exposed to incomprehensible levels of violence, they lose their families, they lose their safety, they lose their ability to go to school. And, of course, the recruitment and use of children is a grave violation of international law."
According to him, the recruitment of child soldiers has been going on since al-Shabaab and other gangs attacked Cabo Delgado in March. So far, dozens of people have been killed by the group as over 50,000 got displaced from their homes.
A fortnight ago, Elder said, UNICEF signed an important Memorandum of Understanding with the Mozambican defense forces which spelled out what government forces should do when they encounter children with gangs.
"So that training is very, very important so that they know to treat children as children and as victims and then immediately get the support of organizations like UNICEF," Elder said. "And that can be everything from help to psychosocial support. Those early stages of support for a child who is being recruited, whether as a helper, whether as someone armed, is absolutely critical."
Government soldiers have been struggling to dislodge the group, which apart from being called al-Shabaab, also bears names such as Ahlu Sunna Wal Jama'a [ASWJ], a Sufi militia also with origin in Somalia. Apparently, the group is not affiliated with any of those Somali groups.

How about US Constitutional Amendment to get rid of the ALL Income taxes and just go with a 15% Value Added Flat Tax? With $20.53 Trillion in consumer spending (2018), that works out to something like $3.079 Trillion in Tax revenue and eliminates a lot of hidden taxes.
Plus it kinda forces Congress and States to be more careful in passing needless Laws and spending frugal.

[OneIndia] A tense standoff took place between India and China after troops of the latter transgressed in Arunachal Pradesh. The incident took place last week across the Line of Actual Control.
A source tells OneIndia that in this area Chinese incursions have taken place several times. Both sides disengaged after a physical engagement took place. It lasted a few hours, the source also said.
No damage was reported to the Indian defence sector and unverified reports say that some Chinese soldiers may have been detained, following the incident. Both sides undertake patrolling activities up to their line of perception, the source said while also adding that there is a difference in perception of the Line of Actual Control in this area.
It may be recalled that last month there were reports of incursion by the Chinese forces in Uttarakhand. It was reported that on August 30, nearly 100 Chinese soldiers transgressed 5 kilometres across the LCA in the Barahoti region and returned a few hours from the area that is guarded by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police.
Meanwhile the tense standoff along the LAC in eastern Ladakh continues. India has identified at least 18 friction points and says that unless and until these issues are resolved the standoff would continue.
India has engaged with China both at the military and diplomatic level to iron out differences and restore normality along the LAC. The date for the next round of military commander level talks is yet to be fixed.

A Lebanese man who is wanted by the FBI for his involvement in a 1985 plane hijacking died of cancer on Friday, a relative told AFP.
Ali Atwi is among three Lebanese on a list of people sought by the FBI in connection with the June 14, 1985 hijacking to Beirut of TWA flight 847, during which US Navy diver Robert Stethem was tortured and murdered.
"Ali Atwi died... of cancer," his relative told AFP on the condition of anonymity, without providing additional details.
His whereabouts before his death remain unknown.
Atwi is a member of the powerful Lebanese Shiite terror group Hezbollah. The Iran-backed group said it will receive condolences for Atwi on Saturday in the southern suburbs of Beirut. It mourned him as one of its "loyal men."
TWA Flight 847 was traveling from Cairo to San Diego with stops in Athens, Rome, Boston and Los Angeles. It was hijacked on June 14, 1985 after it took off from Athens.
Over 17 days, TWA pilot John Testrake was forced to crisscross the Mediterranean with his 153 passengers and crew members, from Beirut to Algiers and back again, landing in Beirut three times before he was finally allowed to stop.
The hijackers’ demands included the release of Shiite Moslems held by Israel.
On June 15, 1985 during the first stop in Beirut, one of the passengers, 23-year-old US Navy diver Robert Stethem, was severely beaten, shot point-blank in the head and his body thrown onto the tarmac.
The United States had offered a reward of up to $5 million for information on Atwi for his role in planning and participating in the hijacking. Washington has issued many charges against him, including air piracy resulting in murder and placing a destructive device aboard an aircraft.
It appears pressure was applied as a result of the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers to the local military prosecutor's office to initiate, at least, an investigation.
In the Tagil missile division in the Sverdlovsk region, two conscripts died in two days. One of them, according to the Central Military District (CVO), got lost in the woods during an exercise, where he climbed onto a power transmission line and died from an electric shock.
The committee of soldiers' mothers "Kommersant-Ural" said that the disappearance of the soldier was noticed only a few hours later, and his search began only the next day. [BenarNews] Thai forces killed another suspected rebel on Thursday night in the country’s Deep South, officials said, as part of an ongoing counter-insurgency operation that has claimed the lives of four government security personnel and five rebels since it began in late September.
Col. Kiatisak Neewong, front man for the military’s regional command (ISOC-4), said he was not sure when the operation would end because snuffies have been hiding out in a 35-acre swamp in and around Hutaelueyo, a village in the Bacho district of Narathiwat province.
"Yesterday there was another shootout after noon, and one of those in the jungle died. We retrieved the body today and returned it to his family," Kiatisak told BenarNews on Friday, referring to the slain suspect, 43-year-old Maragree Urae.
"The operation at the Hutaelueyo swamp forest has so far led to five snuffies being killed — they were identified and their bodies were sent back to their families for funeral rites," Kiatisak said.
Police and soldiers had previously said that a total of seven rebels had been killed since Sept. 28, when the operation began. They later revised the total rebel corpse count to five, saying the terrain and poor visibility made it difficult for them to immediately determine how many people had been killed.
A relative of Maragree, the man slain on Thursday, complained about what he called misinformation about the number of suspects killed.
"All the villagers are okay with the deaths. We know the fights yield losses and they died as deaders by choice," Mue Yue, a relative of Maragree, told BenarNews.
"We just want to give them proper funerals, but officials did not give us the correct corpse count. We have to find out from elsewhere and did not have a clue."
This spate of violence comes after a Sept. 6 message linked to Barisan Revolusi Nasional (the National Revolutionary Front or BRN), the largest of armed separatist krazed killer groups operating in Thailand’s mainly Moslem and Malay-speaking southern border region.
The message appeared to urge combatants to "resume self-defense operations" because, "Siam’s security forces set up raids and conducted summary executions despite COVID difficulties."
A combatant and analysts confirmed that the page was linked to the rebels, but at that time Kiatisak questioned whether the page represented the murderous Moslem group.
In April 2020, the BRN had declared a unilateral ceasefire to allow Thai health workers to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ceasefire was announced a month after face-to-face peace talks between the Thai government and BRN leaders stalled because of the pandemic. But both sides said they continued to meet online through technical-level panels, with neighboring Malaysia serving as controller.
The last virtual meeting occurred in February, Abdul Rahim Noor, the Malaysian broker of the talks, confirmed to BenarNews at the time.
Since the decades-old insurgency reignited in January 2004, more than 7,000 people have been killed in the region along the Thai-Malaysia frontier, according to Deep South Watch, a think-tank based in Pattani, one of the provinces there.

Ahmadullah Wasiq, deputy head of the Cultural Commission of the Ministry of Information and Culture, said the attack occurred at a Shia Mosque. "A number of people have been killed and maimed. Security forces have arrived at the scene and have started an investigation into the incident," he said.
The director of the culture and information department in Kunduz says that 43 people were killed and over 140 were maimed in today’s suicide kaboom at the mosque in Kunduz city.
Local security officials said over 300 hundred people were attending the Friday prayers when the attack happened.

The so-called "Islamic State" (IS) militant group claimed responsibility for the suicide attack, saying they had targeted the Shiite Hazara ethnic group.
A Taliban official cited by the AFP news agency said the explosion was a suicide attack. IS later said in a statement on its Telegram channels that a suicide bomber "detonated an explosive vest amid a crowd".
Another statement said that the perpetrator had been from the Uyghur Muslim minority group that the "Taliban had vowed to expel" from Afghanistan.
An international aid worker at the MSF hospital in the city told AFP there were fears of further attacks.
“Hundreds of people are gathered at the main gate of the hospital and crying for their relatives but armed Taliban guys are trying to prevent gatherings in case another explosion is planned,” he said.
Ethnic Hazaras, who are mostly minority Shiite Muslims, make up about 6% of Kunduz’s population of nearly 1 million people. The province also has a large ethnic Uzbek population that has been targeted for recruitment by the IS, which is closely aligned with the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan.
According to previous notes, IMU has training camps in Jawzjan and Faryab provinces along the Af-Pak border, one of the 20+ jihadi groups there. Their 300 or so hard boys are nestled among the large native Uzbek population. In 2011 Khatiba Imam al-Bukhari (KIB) split off to fight with the Taliban, then split again in 2015 when a group of KIB joined Al Nusra in Syria.

A suicide bomber attacked a mosque in Afghanistan's northeastern Kunduz province on Friday, killing scores of worshippers in the country's third attack this week on a religious institution.
Islamic State claimed responsibility for an attack that state-run Bakhtar news agency said had killed 46 people and wounded 143. Two health officials told Reuters the death toll could be between 70 and 80.
The blast, which the United Nations' mission in Afghanistan called part of a disturbing pattern of violence, follows others in recent days at a mosque in Kabul and a religious school in the eastern province of Khost.

AFAIK, Hazaras are the principal minority associated with Shiism in Afghanistan. They're said to be descended from Mongol invaders. I thought Islam was supposed to turn the meek into stone killers. Obviously failed with the Hazaras.
TBH, though, what's equally likely is that their Mongol conqueror forebears converted so they wouldn't have to conduct a root and branch extermination of the Muslim subjects they ruled over. Manchin then continued to say he would not cave on the filibuster despite whatever pressure, speaking about the importance of the filibuster to keep us from chaos.

For all the flak he's getting, I think Mitch made the right move. The Christmas-New Years recess is a big deal to the congress critters. Kicking the can until right before then and then saying "no play ball" sets up a bigger mess for the dems in just a couple months.
