Federal marshal indicted on felony murder charge in 2016 death of Black Georgia man shot 59 times
[USSA Today] Two officers — including a U.S. Marshal — were indicted on felony murder charges Tuesday, more than five years after they were involved in the death of a Black college student who was shot 59 times, leaving him with 76 gunshot wounds.

Jamarion Rashad Robinson, a 26-year-old who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia months before his death, was being served a warrant at his girlfriend's Georgia home for a previous altercation with police during which he allegedly pulled a gun on them and fled. A second warrant involved an incident when his mother called the police because he was found pouring gasoline in her home.

Eric A. Heinze, a U.S. Marshal and assistant chief inspector with the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, and Kristopher L. Hutchens, a Clayton County officer who was part of the task force during the incident, were indicted on counts of felony murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, making false statements and violation of oath by a public officer.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that neither officer was in custody Tuesday evening.

White House: We need some serious deflection from Joe's issues.

DOJ: What kind?

White House: Something that well light fires and spark lot of riots and looting. Something that will have the Media's attention instead the problems over here?

DOJ: We think we have the thing. There's this 5 year old case that happen under Trump. Where a Black schizophrenia "Mentally Challenged" man person with a history of violent control issues was shot and killed.

DOJ: We just have work out a few details like...
How a person can be shot 59 times and have 76 gunshot wounds? How many wounds were self inflected?

An how many rounds were shot at the LEO's by him the person?

How a person with a history of such issues could purchase a firearm?

#3  Cell phone footage of the Aug. 5, 2016, shooting from outside the building captured about three minutes of gunfire. In the footage, officers can be heard issuing commands to put a gun down.

A medical examiner's report said Robinson was believed to be shot 59 times, leaving him with 76 bullet wounds, 11Alive reported.

“Over 90 rounds were fired at my son, flash-bang grenades were thrown at him, landed on him burning him," Robinson's mother, Monteria Robinson, said at a news conference in June 2020. "Somebody walked up the stairs, stood over him, and shot down into his body two more times. After that, he was handcuffed and drug down a flight of stairs."

Robinson's family has accused the officers involved of using excessive force. In a 2018 lawsuit, his mother claimed law enforcement had been made aware of his mental health condition and was not properly trained on how to handle it in an arrest.

Defensive wound protocol: Subject is holding his arms in front of his body, bullet goes through both arm and body. Quite frequent actually. You get a twofer.

#7  Does seem like a bit of overkill.....I suspect if he had been shot only once, none of this theater would be taking place. Tho' that "standing over" the perp and shooting him twice more (if true) could get you a felony charge.

#8  Mercutio, I knew a cop that once had to go in front a grand jury about that. The concrete chips around an exit wound were the problem.
Bad guy (2 armed robbery convictions, and had just shot another cop) had soaked up 2 and was down, but not done. Fortunately, there were witnesses that saw the bad guy on the ground waving his gun in the air. So it was a walk on walk off performance.

-Great Cultural Revolution
Woke claim that ‘rational thinking' is a white male thing is both insulting and absurd
[NYP] George Orwell famously said that "there are some ideas so absurd that only an intellectual could believe them."

His adage now applies to anyone associated with academia in any capacity.

The New York Times ran a report the other day on the canceling of University of Chicago geophysicist Dorian Abbot for his dissenting views on affirmative action. The paper quoted a Williams College geosciences professor, Phoebe A. Cohen, who supports Abbot’s shunning. She explained her dim view of academic freedom thusly: "This idea of intellectual debate and rigor as the pinnacle of intellectualism comes from a world in which white men dominated."

Ah, yes, that poisoned fruit of the patriarchy — intellectual debate and rigor.

This idea isn’t new, even if Cohen expressed it in a memorably pithy and direct way. Of all the faddish notions blighting college campuses and the broader culture, it is among the most indefensible and self-destructive.

Start with the fact that to reason is deeply human.

Steven Pinker points out in his new book "Rationality" that one of the world’s oldest people, the San of the Kalahari Desert in southern Africa, don’t survive by happenstance. These hunter-gatherers make closely reasoned, evidence-based judgments about their prey; without the use of logic, they wouldn’t be successful. If someone told them they needed to give up all this reasoning and cede it to white males, they’d presumably react with fury and incomprehension.

Needless to say, other cultures and civilizations are capable of great intellectual rigor. It doesn’t require endorsing the fashionable theories that the West invented nothing and rose to preeminence through colonialism and theft to acknowledge the historic achievements of China, India and the Islamic world.

It was Muslims who transmitted Arabic numerals and various important mathematical concepts to the West and played an outsized part in preserving the legacy of the classic Greeks.

The West did indeed forge the Scientific and Industrial revolutions, along with the Enlightenment, that shaped the modern world, and it did so at a time when white males occupied a privileged position in society through law and custom.

#2  Nice to see pushback against Identity-Marxism, but even this author feels compelled to defend reason and logic by means of soft Wokery: obligatory references to the glory that is aboriginal reasoning and the grandeur that was the Arabs.

Enough with the virtue signaling. We are fighting a deranged, violent cultural movement whose goal is to take power from white males. It's just a con, a grift. A shakedown. That is all.

#1  T-shirts: funny. Hats are nice.

But we're up against the full force of the Woke State. They have the Justice Department. They now control the Armed Forces, the Security Agencies, the Tech Oligarchies that control over half of the news flow in this country and the legacy media orgs that control 90% of the rest.

They dominate nearly every major city in this country and are inprocess of turning them into ungoverned violent hellholes.

They've made our corporations into Marxist re-education camps and invaded our kids' classrooms and bathrooms with their deoraved idiocy.

They've opened the border to literally millions of illegals -- many of them illiterate, tens of thousands of unvetted Afghan Muslims, and god knows how many violent or disease-bearing subversives.

T-Shirts and ballcaps are not going to save us now.

#4  T-Shirts and ballcaps are not going to save us now.

Click HERE to learn the ONE THING you can do to save our country (no, it's not a real link)
The guys from Marketing might want to sell you on the idea of The One Thing, but in the real world, it don't exist. Everything is intertwingled.

As tw said upstream, t-shirts and ballcaps are a symbol that you are not alone in your discontent. Suppressing dissent is an ongoing job for any authoritarian regime. One way is to scoop up dissidents and toss them in the gulag. But as the STASI found in East Germany, it is simpler to make sure that nobody speaks up, you never hear it in the media, or the cafeteria at work. It is just you.

Back when the pandemic was booting up, our governor, the Mitten Queen, was issuing a bunch of problematic proclamations. The local county sheriffs took a stand and said they would not enforce these rules. Suddenly, you started seeing yard signs saying "Thank you Sheriff for standing up for our rights". Just a few of them at first, here and there. Then suddenly, they were all over the place. And the governor backed off.

Rebellion needs to reach a critical mass. If everyone thinks they are alone, it never happens.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Israel Opens Border to Lebanese Agricultural Workers as 'Gesture of Goodwill'
[AnNahar] Israel has said it is opening its border to agricultural workers from neighboring Leb
...The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers, a practice dating back to the heady days of human sacrifice to Baal Moloch...
, with which it is technically at war, to pick olives.

"In light of the economic situation in Lebanon, and as a gesture of goodwill to the Lebanese people, the IDF opened the border to agricultural workers from Mays al-Jabal, Aitaroun and Blida," an Israeli army statement read.

"The IDF allowed the workers to cross the Blue Line, to a certain extent, allowing them to harvest olive trees in Israeli territory," the statement added, referring to the 2000 U.N.-drawn demarcation line.

An Israeli army front man told AFP several groups had been allowed across since October 10.

The statement said the United Nations
...boodling on the grand scale...
Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) overseeing a buffer zone between the two states had "reported the gesture" to the Lebanese side.

Tensions had been escalating afresh between the two sides since August, when Israel carried out its first air strikes on Lebanese territory in seven years and Hizbullah
...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory...
claimed a direct rocket attack on Israeli soil for the first time since 2019.

In 2006, the most recent large-scale confrontation between Israel and Hizbullah left some 1,200 Lebanese dead, mainly civilians, as well as 160 Israelis, mostly soldiers.

That month-long engagement ended in a U.N.-backed ceasefire.

Lebanon and Israel last year began historic U.N.-brokered talks on setting their maritime border, even though the discussions are currently stymied.

Lebanon has for the past two years been mired in economic, political and social crisis and its residents are subject to draconian banking restrictions preventing easy access to money.

Meanwhile the local currency has plummeted some 90 percent against the dollar on the black market. Around 80 percent of the population are struggling to escape poverty amid ballooning inflation and shortages of fuel, medicine and electricity.

at his office in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Sunday night. Leaders of Paleostinian factions and chiefs of various security apparatuses attended the meeting.

A statement issued at the end of the meeting said that the Paleostinian leadership has decided to address all the world's leaders and appeal to international agencies against the Israeli settlements in Paleostine, said WAFA.

"The decision was made to urge the world to take proper measures against the Israeli settlement and other hostile actions in Paleostine," the statement said, adding that "Paleostine is to call for ensuring international protection to the Paleostinian people."

On Sunday, media reported that Israel has issued tenders for the construction of around 1,355 new housing units in the existing West Bank settlements.

Israeli settlements are the thorniest issue in the Paleostinian-Israeli conflict and one of the main reasons for the failure of the last round of direct peace negotiations between the two sides in 2014.

Israel occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which are claimed by the Paleostinians, in the 1967 Middle East war and has controlled them ever since.

UK Spy Agencies Sign Deal with Amazon to Host Classified Information
[Breitbart] Spy agencies in the United Kingdom have inked a billion-dollar deal with the Masters of the Universe at Amazon to host classified information on the tech giant’s cloud computing apparatus.

MI5, the British equivalent to the FBI, MI6, which serves a similar role to the CIA, and the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), which is similar to the NSA, have all agreed to host top-secret information on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing servers.

According to a report in the Financial Times, the deal is believed to be worth between £500m to £1bn over the next decade. The full details of the agreement have not and most likely will not be made public.

The use of AWS software will reportedly enable quicker cross-agency sharing of information and help agents in the field share data remotely. Amazon is also said to be sharing technology with the government which can "spot" and translate individual voices within lengthy intercepted recordings.

The report has raised eyebrows, as it is believed to be the first of its kind in which British classified material will be stored with a foreign entity. People aware of the scope of the deal told the paper that the information will be held on servers on British soil and Amazon will supposedly be prevented from accessing the intelligence.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Cyberattack forces fuel stations to close across Iran
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Targeted attack shuttered an Iran government system managing fuel subsidises

  • The closure saw lines of angry motorists stranded at fuel pumps across the state

  • Petrol stations that accept only cash and are not in the subsidy card network continued pumping fuel

  • No group has claimed responsibility, but it is similar to an attack months earlier
The semiofficial ISNA news agency, which first called the incident a cyberattack, said it saw those trying to buy fuel with a government-issued card through the machines instead receive a message reading 'cyberattack 64411'.

Most Iranians rely on those subsidies to fuel their vehicles, particularly amid the country's economic problems.

While ISNA did not acknowledge the number's significance, that number is associated with a hotline run through Mr Khamenei's office that handles questions about Islamic law.

ISNA later removed its reports, claiming that it too had been hacked. Such claims of hacking can come quickly when Iranian outlets publish news that angers the theocracy.

Farsi-language satellite channels abroad published videos apparently shot by drivers in Isfahan, a major Iranian city, showing electronic billboards there reading: 'Khamenei! Where is our gas?'

Another said: 'Free gas in Jamaran gas station,' a reference to the home of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

The use of the number '64411' mirrored an attack in July targeting Iran's railroad system that also saw the number displayed.

Israeli cybersecurity firm Check Point later attributed the train attack to a group of hackers that called themselves Indra, after the Hindu god of war.

Indra previously targeted firms in Syria, where President Bashar Assad has held on to power through Iran's intervention in his country's grinding war.

The disruptions came ahead of the second anniversary of an increase in fuel prices in November 2019 which led to widespread street protests in which hundreds were reported to have been killed by security forces.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Turkish drone hit the Donbass for the first time
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
By Aleksandr Kots

[KP] On the video, taken by the phone from the screen, there are stills familiar from Karabakh. The drone aims a guided bomb at a howitzer, similar to the D-30, after a few seconds it drowns in the smoke of a powerful explosion. Ukrainian volunteers claim that Kiev was the first to use the Bayraktar attack drone against the DPR army.

Information about an exacerbation in the Donbass in the Telmanovo-Granitnoye area began to appear in the morning. The first artillery fire on the positions of the militia was opened by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In this case, several civilian structures were damaged. Apparently, the Donetsk side opened fire in response to the suppression. At least in social networks, photos of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, covered with artillery, were published. In the end, it is necessary to respond to such insolent shelling.

Kiev immediately trumpeted about the treacherous attack on the civilian sector. And apparently, he decided to use shock drones bought from Turkey.

Volunteer Oleg Boldyrev was the first to report on the use of the drone:

"Today, Bayraktar worked on the enemy's artillery battery. Minus one gun from a distance of over 11 km.

Journalist Yuri Butusov specified the type of ammunition that was used by the drone:

"For the first time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent Bayraktar to the battle area for counter-battery combat and the howitzer was destroyed by the MAM-S bomb. This is the first combat use of "Bayraktar" in the war. The order was given by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny."
Butusov also said, quoted on Butusov's Censor.net Ukrainian language newsite.:
"Today, a battery of Russian D-30 howitzers began another shelling of the positions of the Ukrainian 93rd Mechanized Brigade near Granitnoye.
That's in Lugansk
Later this information was confirmed by the Ukrainian General Staff:

“By order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Valeriy Zaluzhny, the Bayraktar reconnaissance and strike unmanned complex was used for the first time in the area of the Joint Forces operation. The drone did not cross the line of collision and destroyed one cannon with a controlled bomb.

And then you can predict by looking back seven years. Remember how it began in Slavyansk. First, they threw single mines, then calmed down, watched what the reaction would be. Are they silent "behind the curb"? Hold in volleys.

Then they pulled up the barrel artillery. Also, one or two shells per test. No reaction? Get a division of howitzers on the back slope of Karachun.

Again, no? Let's try the Grad (BM-21 artillery rocket launcher). One projectile, two projectiles. Didn't "little green men" appear on the horizon? Well then, take it, Slavyansk, in packages by area. Why be ashamed?

Why have they struck with only one missile now? Well, yes, it's expensive. But that’s not the reason. Feel how far they will be allowed to go. And if they allow it, as in Slavyansk, then soon a carousel of Bayraktarov will hang in the sky over Donbass.

There is no doubt that the Turkish friends of Kiev will give Ukraine an unprecedented discount on the purchase of missiles - one should not miss another advertising campaign.

It's good that Bastrykin opened a criminal case. But they can't shoot down drones. A reaction of a completely different caliber is needed here.
It is worth noting Ukrainians, and probably the separatists have been using small drones to spot artillery fire. This is the first use of a drone supplied by a foreign government using direct attack munitions for counterbattery work.

Native of Karachay-Cherkessia suspected of involvement in Syrian militants
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] A resident of Karachay-Cherkessia in 2012 moved to Syria and joined the militants, investigators suggested. The woman was put on the international wanted list.

According to the investigation, the native of the Prikubansky region flew from Russia to Turkey on October 25, 2012, from where she arrived in Syria.
ISIS declared itself independent in 2014, but Al Nusra fought against the Assad government for Raqqa in 2012-13, so it might have been them.
"Being in the city of Raqqa, sharing the religious-extremist ideology, she entered and took an active part in the activities of the armed formation," the press service of the ICR department for Karachay-Cherkessia said today.

A criminal case against a 34-year-old woman was opened by the Ust-Dzhegutinsky interdistrict investigation department of the department. The case is being investigated in accordance with part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation on the territory of a foreign state in an armed formation not provided for by the legislation of this state, for purposes contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation).

"The woman has been put on the international wanted list. The court has chosen a preventive measure against her in the form of detention," says a message posted on the department's website.

Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for eight to 15 years in prison.

"Caucasian Knot" wrote about other cases of criminal prosecution of residents of Karachay-Cherkessia, accused of helping Syrian militants.

So, on August 27, the Sledkom reported on the start of an investigation into the case of a resident of the village of Kardonikskaya. According to investigators, in June 2015, a woman flew from Russia to Turkey, from where she arrived in Syria, where she helped treat members of a terrorist organization.

In July, a native of the village of Storozhevaya, Zelenchuksky District, was also suspected of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization . According to the investigation, the woman has been in Syria since 2016 and works as a doctor in a hospital where she treats militants.

Iran expanding uranium enrichment at Natanz site, says UN nuclear watchdog
[IsraelTimes] Limited number of centrifuges set up to enrich beyond 20%, but product is not being kept, IAEA says in report seen by Rooters.

Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
has taken another step to increase its enrichment activities in purifying uranium beyond 20 percent, Rooters reported Monday, citing a report by the International Atomic Agency.

The move at Iran’s Natanz plant is likely aimed at building knowledge of the refinement process, the report said, as the product from changes to centrifuges is not being kept.

Though Iran already enriches uranium to 60% at Natanz, research to improve enrichment methods is opposed by Western powers, as it is irreversible and builds Iran’s ability to produce weapons-grade uranium.

"On 25 October 2021, the Agency verified that Iran began feeding (uranium hexafluoride gas) enriched up to 20% U-235 into a single IR-6 centrifuge in R&D line 2 at PFEP," the IAEA said in its report.

"The resulting product and tails streams were being re-combined," the IAEA report noted, meaning that the enriched uranium was not being stored.

In response to the developments, the IAEA report said it will "increase the frequency and intensity of its safeguards activities" at the Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant, an aboveground facility located at the Natanz site.

A statement from the IAEA outlining the report said that, last week, Iran had notified that it planned to make changes involving uranium enriched up to 20% in the setup of clusters of small to medium-sized enrichment centrifuges at Natanz. However,
there's more than one way to stuff a chicken...
so far, those additional machines have not been fed, according to the IAEA report.

Earlier this month, the head of Iran’s atomic energy agency said the country has enriched more than 120 kilograms of 20% enriched uranium.

In September, the IAEA reported that Iran had boosted its stocks enriched above the percentage allowed in a deal with world powers known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

The IAEA had estimated that Iran had 84.3 kilos of uranium enriched to 20% (up from 62.8 kilos when the IAEA last reported in May).

Under the JCPOA, Iran was not meant to enrich uranium above 3.67%, well below the 90% threshold needed for use in a nuclear weapon.

On Monday US Special Envoy for Iran Robert Malley said Iran’s explanations for staying away from nuclear talks in Vienna are "wearing thin."

Malley said Washington is increasingly concerned Iran will choose to continue to delay the resumption of nuclear talks or come back to the negotiations with unrealistic demands. The US is intensifying "in the coming days and weeks" its diplomacy and consulting with allies on steps should Iran choose that path, according to Malley.

Though the preference is to find a diplomatic solution, Malley reiterated that the US will use "other tools" to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons if the Vienna talks fail.

Iraq
37,000 Iraqis migrated in 2021, ten died: refugee foundation
[Rudaw] Every month, thousands of people from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region leave the country, taking risky journeys in hopes of finding a better life abroad, the head of a foundation working with refugees and displaced persons told Rudaw on Tuesday.

"In the first ten months of 2021, around 37,000 people from Kurdistan Region and Iraq have left the country, and migration continues," the head of Summit (Lutka) Foundation for Refugee and Displaced Affairs Ari Jalal told Rudaw. This figure is only people who have left the country illegally.

Jalal added that during that period, ten people have died en route to Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
and 12 migrants colonists remain missing.

According to Lutka data, in the past seven years over 633,000 people from Kurdistan Region and Iraq have migrated abroad. Of them, 261 have died on the way.

The migrants colonists often take dangerous and illegal routes and many have gotten stuck in Belarus, Syria, and Libya.

In June, more than 140 Iraqi and Kurdish immigrants colonists directed a message to the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
refugee agency (UNHCR) through the International Federation of Iraqi Refugees (IFIR), asking for help. They said they were forced to migrate "due to the instability of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq in terms of security, politics and religion."

The refugee federation sent a letter to the UNHCR at the time appealing for assistance for Iraqi refugees, stating that keeping them in camps for long periods of time and general poor treatment has made their lives "extremely difficult."

Iraqi refugees and displaced persons are "committing suicide, [suffering from] psychological illness, and frequent fires have led to their camps being burnt down in Greece, Iraq, Syria and other countries," it stated.

The Iraqi government is shutting down its camps, but the Kurdistan Region has kept its open. According to the Joint Crisis Coordination (JCC), which oversees camps in the Kurdistan Region, it hosts more than 660,000 displaced Iraqis and more people are entering the Region than returning home.

Iraq
Reverting to the norm: Iraq blames Iran for drastic decline in river flow
Casus belli for the second Iran-Iraq war?
[AlAhram] Iraqi officials warned Tuesday of a drastic drop in the flow of water in a river from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
due to low rainfall and dam-building in the neighbouring Islamic republic.

The Sirwan river begins in Iran, flowing to Darbandikhan Dam in northeastern Iraq before going through the rural province of Diyala and joining the Tigris.

"There has been an unprecedented decline," said Rahman Khani, the director of Darbandikhan Dam. "The water level has fallen by 7.5 metres in one year."

The drop was attributed both to low levels of precipitation and "the building of more dams in Iran which retain water", he told AFP.
That'll do it
Khani said the dam had this year received 900 million cubic metres of water -- a fraction of the annual average of 4.7 billion cubic metres.

The decline had led to a 30 percent fall in electricity production from the dam, he added, warning against the impact on agriculture in Diyala province.

The situation has prompted Iraq's Water Resources Minister Mahdi al-Hamdani to call on his government to file a complaint against Iran at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

A foreign ministry spokesperson refused to comment on the matter.

Aoun Thiab, a senior adviser at the water ministry, said Iran was "violating international law by diverting a river flow" based on the 1997 UN Watercourses Convention on the use of water that cross international borders.

Thiab acknowledged however that seeking justice would be "a political decision and not a technical one".

"The waters of the Sirwan river have been completely cut off," he told AFP.

Iraq -- which relies on Iran for much of its electricity -- has suffered extreme water shortages in many areas in recent years.

This is owing in large part to upstream dam-building in Iran and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
, but also to factors relating to climate change and droughts, which have affected the wider region.

Iran has also suffered due to low rainfall, experiencing its own decline in water levels due to droughts, according to a report from the Iranian space agency cited by Mehr news agency.

[WND] Attorney General Merrick Garland refused to comment on video clips played for him during a House hearing last week by Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., showing a man the congressman suspected was an informant planted by the FBI to urge Trump supporters to breach the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Massie didn't mention the man's name, but he long has been identified as Ray Epps, a U.S. Marine veteran from Arizona.

Now, an extensive investigation by Revolver News has led to three major findings concerning Epps that counter the official narrative and provide more evidence of proactive federal involvement in U.S. Capitol riot.

Ben & Jerry's Get Hit With Divestments From Multiple States Over Anti-Israel Decision
[RedState] Ben & Jerry’s is very proud of its hard-left stance on any given subject but now its latest virtue signal has resulted in some serious financial setbacks.

As RedState reported back in July, the ice cream company decided it would no longer do business in what it called "Occupied Palestinian Territory" or as it’s more commonly known, "Israel." The move was supposed to signal the company’s dedication to protesting in favor of the oppressed but behind the scenes, their Board chair was actually signaling their support for the terrorist group Hezbollah.

Not long after, states began looking into divesting from Ben & Jerry’s and its parent company Unilever over its decision with Arizona being the first to do so. Unilever attempted damage control by specifically stating that it does not agree with the ice cream company’s decision in a letter to various Jewish organizations and distanced itself from the BDS movement, an anti-semitic movement meant to weaken Israel financially.

Now, Florida has added itself to the list of states removing their investments from Ben & Jerry’s with eight other states currently investigating whether anti-BDS laws are able to be used to divest from the company themselves, these being New York, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Maryland, and Rhode Island.

The amount of money being divested from the company isn’t small, either. Florida’s State Board of Administration withdrew $139 million while Arizona withdrew around the same at $140 million.

This news comes on the heels of a disastrous interview given by Ben & Jerry’s founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield with Axios. Reporter Alexi McCammond cornered the duo over their willingness to divest from Israeli settlements over their principles but not states such as Texas and Georgia. Cohen didn’t know how to answer the question and stammered around for an answer before admitting that he doesn’t know.

So? Some Jews are stupid enough to be anti-Zionist. On the Left it is required as part of the intersectionality idea, while some of the ultra-Orthodox think it presumptuous to support return before God sends the Messiah to collect them.

Iraq
In eastern Iraq, militants killed at least 12 civilians
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] At least 12 people were killed and 15 were injured as a result of an armed attack by militants from the Islamic State group on a settlement in the Diyala province in eastern Iraq. This was reported on October 26 by the news portal SHAFAQ News.

The attack took place near the town of al-Mikdadi,
...alternate spelling Miqdadiyah...
located about 110 kilometers from Baghdad. Terrorists attacked a group of young people in the village of Rashad and began firing at residential buildings with various types of weapons. The militants retreated only after the Iraqi army came to the aid of the villagers.

It is clarified that the death toll may increase, since so far only part of the wounded have been hospitalized.

Earlier, IA REGNUM reported on the elimination of eight terrorists on the territory of Iraq, in the province of Kirkuk.
Rudaw adds:
The group said on its Telegram propaganda channels on Tuesday that its militants targeted Sunni fighters of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF, or Hashd al-Shaabi) in Diyala’s Saadiya area the previous day, “killing a fighter and injuring two others.”
Update from An Nahar at 3:30 p.m. from An Nahar:
Gunmen from the Islamic State extremist group attacked a village northeast of Baghdad on Tuesday, killing at least 11 civilians and wounding six others, Iraqi security officials said.

The officials said the attack occurred in the predominantly Shiite village of al-Rashad northeast of Baqouba in Diyala province. The circumstances of the attack were not immediately clear, but two officials who spoke to The Associated Press said Islamic State group militants had kidnapped two villagers earlier and then raided the village when their demands for ransom were not met.

Machine guns were used in the attack, they added, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with regulations. They said all the dead and wounded were civilians.

GOP bill seeks to stop Jerusalem consulate for Palestinians
[JPost] The US would need Israel’s approval to open a consulate, and the current government in Jerusalem opposes the move.

US Senator Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, along with 33 other Republican senators, introduced a bill on Tuesday meant to block the Biden administration from opening a consulate serving Palestinians in Jerusalem.

The Upholding the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Law Act of 2021 is meant to ensure the full implementation of the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act and stop what Hagerty views as the Biden administration’s attempted subversion of that law.

US President Joe Biden has said he will not reverse former president Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

However, Biden promised in his election campaign that he would reopen the consulate to the Palestinians in Jerusalem, which was merged into the US Embassy to Israel in 2018, when Trump implemented the 1995 law and moved the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other US officials have said they will reopen the consulate, which was historically in a building on Agron Street in downtown Jerusalem.

The US would need Israel’s approval to open a consulate, and the current Israeli government opposes the move.

Hagerty said: "It is regrettable that the Biden administration insists on making moves that divide the United States and Israel when our two nations should be laser-focused on stopping Iran’s terror-sponsoring regime from going nuclear, on countering growing threats from Hezbollah, Hamas, and other Iran-backed terrorist groups, and on strengthening and expanding the historic Abraham Accords that truly have increased peace in the Middle East."

"The Trump administration kept its promise to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, the eternal and indivisible capital of the Jewish State, and Congress must do everything in our power to strengthen our posture," he added.

The new act quotes the 1995 law, which states, "Jerusalem should remain an undivided city," and calls for it to be recognized as the capital of Israel and the relocation of the US Embassy.

It also quotes the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Fiscal Year 2003, which states: "None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this act may be expended for the operation of a United States consulate or diplomatic facility in Jerusalem unless such consulate or diplomatic facility is under the supervision of the United States Ambassador to Israel."

As such, the bill says: "It is the policy of the United States... to uphold, preserve and reaffirm United States recognition of Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the State of Israel and an undivided city in which the rights of every ethnic and religious group are protected; to maintain the United States Embassy to the State of Israel in Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel; and not to reopen, open or otherwise maintain a United States Embassy, Consulate General, Legation, Consular Office or any other diplomatic facility in Jerusalem other than the United States Embassy to the State of Israel."

It would also amend the Foreign Service Buildings Act to add a prohibition against using funds for a US diplomatic facility in Jerusalem other than under the US Embassy to Israel.

The cosponsors of Hagerty’s bill are Senators John Barrasso (R-Wyoming), Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee), John Boozman (R-Arkansas), Mike Braun (R-Indiana), Bill Cassidy (R-Louisiana), Susan Collins (R-Maine), Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas), Kevin Cramer (R-North Dakota), Mike Crapo (R-Indiana), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Josh Hawley (R-Missouri), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Mississippi), James Inhofe (R-Oklahoma), James Lankford (R-Oklahoma), Mike Lee (R-Utah), Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyoming), Roger Marshall (R-Kansas), James Risch (R-Idaho), Marco Rubio (R-Florida), Ben Sasse (R-Nebraska), Rick Scott (R-Florida), Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska), Pat Toomey (R-Pennsylvania), Thom Tillis (R-North Carolina), Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama), Roger Wicker (R-Mississippi) and Todd Young (R-Indiana).

Republicans and Democrats are tied in the Senate, but Vice President Kamala Harris casts the tie-breaking vote, making the chance of the bill passing slim.
Yep.

One of the world's biggest ever dark web police stings leads to 150 arrests
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] including 65 in US and 24 in UK

  • Police forces across the globe arrested 150 suspects in massive sting operation

  • Operation Dark HunTOR targeted buyers and sellers on darknet marketplaces

  • 24 people from the UK were arrested, while 65 were also picked up in the US

  • £22.45million in cash and virtual currencies were also confiscated in the raids

  • Police also seized 45 guns and 516lbs of drugs, including 25,000 ecstasy pills

The bust stems from a German-led police sting earlier this year taking down the 'world's largest' darknet marketplace.

Darknet markets are e-commerce sites designed to lie beyond the reach of regular search engines and are popular with criminals, as buyers and sellers are largely untraceable.

Dark HunTOR, 'was composed of a series of separate but complementary actions in Australia, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States,' the Hague-based Europol said.

Italian police also shut down the 'DeepSea' and 'Berlusconi' marketplaces, 'which together boasted over 100,000 announcements of illegal products', said Europol, which coordinated the operation together with its twin judicial agency Eurojust.

German police in January closed down the 'DarkMarket' online marketplace, used by its alleged operator, an Australian, to facilitate the sale of drugs, stolen credit card data and malware.

Europol said the arrest of the alleged operator, caught near the German-Danish border at the time, and the seizure of the criminal infrastructure provided 'investigators across the world with a trove of evidence'.

German prosecutors at the time said DarkMarket came to light in the course of a major investigation against the web-hosting service Cyberbunker, located in a former NATO bunker in southwest Germany.

Sudan's armed forces chief defended the military's seizure of power, saying he had ousted the government to avoid civil war, while protesters erupted into the streets on Tuesday to demonstrate against the takeover after a day of deadly festivities.

The military takeover on Monday brought a halt to Sudan's transition to democracy, two years after a popular uprising toppled long-ruling Islamist autocrat Omar al-Bashir
...Former President-for-Life of Sudan He came to power in 1989 when he, as a brigadier in the Sudanese army, led a group of officers in a bloodless military coup that ousted the government of Prime Minister Sadiq al-Mahdi and eventually appointed himself head cheese. He fell out with his Islamic mentor, Hasan al-Turabi, tried to impose shariah on the Christian and animist south, resulting in its secessesion, and attempted to Arabize Darfur by unleashing the barbaric Janjaweed on it. Sudan's potential prosperity has been pissed away in warfare that has left as many as 400,000 people dead and 2.5 million displaced. Hee was overthrown by popular consent in 2019. Omar has been indicted for genocide by the International Criminal Court but nothing is expected to come of it...
On Tuesday evening, the Sudanese Professionals Association group of trade unions said it had "reports of retaliatory attacks by coup forces on protesters' gathering sites" in the capital Khartoum and other cities, "using bullets, and attempts to break through barricades".

The Facebook page for the office of Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok, apparently still under the control of Hamdok loyalists, said a number of ministers and civilian politicians were still detained in unknown locations. Witnesses said unidentified people arrested Faiz al-Salik, a former media adviser to Hamdok.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke with Hamdok on Tuesday, welcoming his "release from custody" and reiterating a call for the Sudanese military to release all civilian leaders in detention, the State Department said.

Speaking at his first news conference since announcing the takeover, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan said the army had no choice but to sideline politicians who were inciting against the armed forces. He said the military's action did not amount to a coup.

"The dangers we witnessed last week could have led the country into civil war," he said, an apparent reference to demonstrations against the prospect of a coup.

Hamdok, who was arrested on Monday along with other members of his Cabinet, had not been harmed and had been brought to Burhan's own home, the general said. "The prime minister was in his house. However,
a clean conscience makes a soft pillow...
we were afraid that he’d be in danger so he has been placed with me in my home."

Later on Tuesday, a source close to Hamdok said he and his wife were at their home and under tight security. Family sources said they were unable to reach Hamdok or his wife by phone.

Burhan had appeared on TV on Monday to announce the dissolution of the Sovereign Council, a body set up after Bashir's overthrow to share power between the military and civilians and lead Sudan to free elections.

Siddig Alsadig Almahdi of the Umma Party, which had a representative on the Sovereign Council, was arrested at his home, and activist Ismail al-Tag, a lawyer who was active in the 2019 anti-Bashir protests, was also arrested, Foreign Minister Mariam al-Sadiq al-Mahdi told Al Jazeera TV.

Sudanese ambassadors to 12 countries, including the United States, United Arab Emirates, China, and La Belle France, have rejected the military takeover, a diplomatic source said on Tuesday. Ambassadors to Belgium and the European Union

Haiti's streets were unusually quiet on Tuesday and gasoline stations remained dry as gangs blocked the entrance to ports that hold fuel stores and the country's main gang boss demanded that Prime Minister Ariel Henry resign.

Days-long fuel shortages have left Haitians with few transportation options and forced the closure of some businesses. Hospitals, which rely on diesel generators to ensure electricity due to constant blackouts, may shut down as well.

Women protest the world's 'silence' over crisis in Afghanistan
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Women activists in Kabul held up signs that read “why is the world watching us die in silence?” on Tuesday, protesting the international community’s inaction on the crisis in Afghanistan.
How'd that "negotiate with the Taliban" thingy work out for you?
Around a dozen women risked the wrath of the Taliban, who have banned demonstrations and shut them down using violence since taking power in August, holding banners affirming their “right to education” and “right to work”, before the Islamists stopped the press from approaching the march.

For all the latest headlines follow our Google News channel online or via the app.

“We are asking the UN secretary-general to support our rights, to education, to work. We are deprived of everything today,” Wahida Amiri, one of the organizers for the Spontaneous Movement of Women Activists in Afghanistan, told AFP.

Their demonstration, addressing the “political, social and economic situation” in Afghanistan was initially planned to take place near the UN mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA).

But it was moved at the last minute to the entrance of the former “Green Zone”, where the buildings of several Western embassies are located, although most of their missions left the country as the Taliban took control.

Taliban gunmen at the entrance to the ultra-secure area initially asked the demonstrators and the press to move away.

An AFP reporter then saw a reinforcement of a dozen Taliban guards -- most of them armed -- push back journalists and confiscate the mobile phone of one local reporter who was filming the protest.

“We have nothing against the Taliban, we just want to demonstrate peacefully,” Amiri said.

Symbolic demonstrations by women have become a regular occurrence in Kabul in recent weeks as the Taliban have still not allowed them to return to work or permitted most girls to go to school.

Last Thursday about 20 women were allowed to march for more than 90 minutes, but several foreign and local journalists covering the rally were beaten by Taliban fighters.

Poland plans to bolster military amid threats from Belarus, Russia
[DW] The Polish military has announced plans to more than double its troop numbers, as the country faces security and migration challenges on its eastern border.

The Polish government revealed a homeland defense bill on Tuesday, which could see a massive boost to the country's military.

The leader of the ruling Law and Justice party (PiS), Jaroslaw Kaczynski, who is also deputy prime minister, said the bill comes as a response to current global trends and Poland's political geography.

Speaking at a news conference in Warsaw, Kaczynski cited "Russia's imperial ambitions" and the migrant challenge on its eastern border with Belarus as top security challenges.

"If we want to avoid the worst, that is war, we have to act according to the old rule: 'If you want peace, prepare for war,'"Kaczynski said.

WHAT DOES THE DEFENSE PLAN ENTAIL?
Both Kaczynski and Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak jointly presented the defense proposal.

Troop numbers would more than double from the current number of 110,000 to 250,000 soldiers, along with 50,000 reserve troops.

Kaczynski said the plan entails purchasing military equipment produced in the US and elsewhere in the EU.

The boost in troop numbers would not require a return to compulsory national service, the officials said.

Blaszczak said that an Armed Forces Support Fund would be started to support the plan, with funding coming by way of government secured-bonds.

While no exact figures were given, officials said funding would work out to be significantly more than the 2% of gross domestic product, which is the benchmark for defense spending by NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions...
member states.

The proposed bill stills need to be signed off by parliament and the country's president.

Six injured in blast in north Kashmir's Sumbal
[GREATERKASHMIR] A woman was among six persons injured in a suspected grenade blast near Municipal Committee office Sumbal in north Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
's Bandipora on Tuesday morning, officials said.

Eyewitness told Greater Kashmir that they heard a kaboom in the area and saw around six to seven people receiving injuries in the incident. A taxi cab has also been damaged in the earth-shattering kaboom.

Later, police rushed to the spot to probe the incident even as health officials shifted the injured to CHC Sumbal from where four of them have been referred to JVC Srinagar, MS at CHC Sumbal, Dr Muzaffar said.

[Rudaw] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

has resumed cutting down trees in Duhok province months after they suspended the practice, according to local sources. Villagers have threatened to protest at Ottoman Turkish military bases if the deforestation continues.

Photographs, taken in Hirore village on Sunday noon, sent to Rudaw English by a local official, show cut down trees and roadsides filled with logs. The person who took the photographs works closely with the contractors who cut down the trees but did not want to be identified.

Melanin Challenged Volunteers FIRED after Woke Consulting Firm Advised Chicago Art Institute to Prioritize ‘Equity and Diversity'
[100% Fed Up] More than 150 white volunteers at the Art Institute of Chicago after a consulting company out of Colorado told the institute to prioritize so-called ’equity and diversity.’

This company, called the Equity Project, said that the volunteer program didn’t have enough diversity and that it was too skewed towards white women.
AKA: "Former Major Donors"
"Sometimes equity means taking bold steps and actions," said Monica Williams (pictured below), the executive producer of the Equity Project.

The mostly elderly volunteers were notified by email that they were fired and that the museum wanted to "rebuild our program from the ground up."

The Incredible (and unique) firepower of the US Army Nightstalkers
[Sandboxx] The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment is the U.S. military’s premier rotary-wing special operations unit. Created in the 1980s after the failed attempt to rescue the American hostages from Iran, the "Night Stalkers," as the unit is nicknamed, has seen action in every major and minor conflict ever since.

These are the pilots who flew the stealth helicopters that carried SEAL Team 6 in the Osama bin Laden raid and the pilots who put the Delta Force operators on the ground during the raid that killed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State. Simply put, there are no better helicopter pilots in the world.

With a battle-proven motto "Night Stalkers Don’t Quit," the 160th SOAR brings impressive precision strike capabilities to the U.S. special operations arsenal. A rare video from Iraq showcases their deadly precision, but before we delve into that, let’s go over the Night Stalker arsenal.

New head of powerful US liberal donor group looks to shake secretive reputation
Beyond Soros: about a few of of the Progressive centi-billionaires pooling their money.
[IsraelTimes] Pamela Shifman cites centrality of ’tikkun olam’ in her upbringing, suggests antisemitic undercurrent to calling Democracy Alliance ’George Soros
...either Ernst Stavro Blofeld or Auric Goldfinger come true...
’s shadowy dark money donor club’.

Politico called the Democracy Alliance, one of the country’s major liberal donor groups, "secretive." The conservative Washington Free Beacon called it, "George Soros’s shadowy dark money donor club."

But the group’s new president, Pamela Shifman, says that she is all about shining a light on what she calls threats to democracy, right-wing antisemitism and other issues.

The group boasts Tom Steyer, Susie Tompkins Buell and, yes, left-wing megadonor George Soros among its members — but most of its donors are anonymous.
The Democracy Alliance raises money that it funnels to organizations the group says works to "advance a progressive agenda." Unlike some other liberal fundraising groups, such as MoveOn, that cite large numbers of donors, the Democracy Alliance focuses on major giving only: donors must commit to giving at least $200,000 per year to enter. The group boasts Tom Steyer, Susie Tompkins Buell and, yes, left-wing megadonor George Soros among its members — but most of its donors are anonymous.

Shifman, who comes from a family of liberal Jewish activists, said she is not happy with the role of anonymous or "dark" money in political giving. But she is also not ready to give it up yet.

"As progressives, we support greater transparency and an end to Citizens United [the 2010 Supreme Court
...the political football known as The Highest Court in the Land, home of penumbrae and emanations...
decision that protected corporate political giving], but we can’t unilaterally disarm ourselves in this fight," she told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. "Because the moment is too important to do so. And what we know is activists need resources, movements need resources, and they need resources now to address the challenges we face."

Shifman, 51, is not prone to keeping a low profile. In her previous work, heading NoVo, a foundation funding racial and gender justice initiatives, she was a frequent speaker, and erupted into the streets in protest, at times with Jewish groups. In 2014, after a New York policeman choked Eric Garner to death, Shifman joined protests organized by Jews For Racial and Economic Justice.

Joint Forces Operation Headquarters denies Granitnoye captured by Ukrainian force.
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
By Vera Kasiyan

[LB] The Joint Forces Operation Headquarters denied reports that Ukrainian troops had seized a temporarily occupied village in Donbas. This is an interpositional space near the village of Granitnoye.

"The Joint Forces Command claims that this information is untrue. This is another attempt by illegal Russian armed groups to discredit and accuse Ukraine of violating the line of demarcation," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said.

Instead, as the headquarters emphasize, it was in this area that the irregular armed formations of the Russian Federation on the territory of ORDLO, violating the comprehensive ceasefire regime, opened fire with weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.

"The servicemen of the Allied Forces are monitoring the situation and continue to perform tasks to repel and deter the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The positions of the Ukrainian military remain unchanged," they added.

As of 5:00 p.m., the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters reported that Russian mercenaries fired 122omm artillery near Granitnoye three times .

The Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office has launched criminal proceedings under the article "violation of the laws and customs of war" over the shelling of Granitnoye by pro-Russian militants . The occupiers fired mortars at the village. Six residential buildings and a power line were damaged. There are no civilian casualties.

In all, the enemy has violated peace agreements seven times since the beginning of the day. As a result of hostilities, a Ukrainian serviceman was killed and another was wounded.

First Israeli flight lands in Saudi Arabia
[JPost] Damn that OrangeManBad and his son-in-law!
Prior to the opening of Saudi airspace, El Al’s planes had to follow a long, winding route to Mumbai in order to avoid Saudi airspace.

An Israeli private jet landed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Tuesday morning, per KAN news, marking the first time a flight from Israel has ever landed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The news comes just a day after the first flight from Saudi Arabia landed in Israel, as an Emirati 737 Royal Jet landed in Ben-Gurion airport Monday evening.

This is the latest among improving regional ties for Israel: agreements to normalize ties with four nations— UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan— have been realized since the 2020 Abraham Accords.

While there remain no commercial flights between Saudi Arabia and Israel, as the two states share no official relations, the flights are a considerable advancement in Saudi-Israeli relations, as both nations finally opened their airspaces to each other just last year.

Surrounded by nations that have clashed with Israel in the past, free air travel is not something that is taken for granted in Israel. Along the 2020 normalization of ties with Bahrain, Sudan, Morocco and the UAE was the opening of airspaces to Israeli flights, along with announcements of direct flights to Dubai, Morocco, and Bahrain.

Had Bath House done the same -- had he Souljahed the berserk assholes who lied that Michael Brown was "murdered" and that Zimmerman did not act in self-defense when he shot Trayvon Martin, we would never have arrived at this current moment of insanity.

Without the green light from Bath House, no one would ever have heard of BLM.

Without his support for the urban legend of "systemic police racism" and his DOJ's Ahab-like obsession with persecuting white cops -- three times they and local prosecutors tried and failed to prove racism in the shooting of Michael Brown... THREE TIMES! -- without Barry's gas tank on the flames, America never would have burned.

No Barry, no riots. Any disturbances after Floyd would have been crushed swiftly, and we would now be one nation, with all the race-war bullshit confined to a few loony academics and a couple of Sharpton Grifters whom no one takes seriously.

'Let's go Brandon' knocks off Adele for top spot on music charts
*Snicker*
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Despite the success of Adele's new release "Easy On Me," two "Let's Go Brandon" songs have bumped the pop star down the iTunes song chart to number three as the chant spreads across the country.

Sitting at number one is Bryson Gray's "Let's Go Brandon," featuring Tyson James and Chandler Crump. Following it at number two is Loza Alexander's "Lets Go Brandon."

Gray's video features the rapper sporting a Make American Great Again bucket hat and an Impeach Biden shirt.

He warns that stories coming out of Australia, where the country has implemented strict lockdown policies with police very closely watching citizens for rule violations, is what's next for America if "we don't stand up, stop complying."

The song also takes shots at Biden's mental state, and the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Gray's original video was taken down from YouTube earlier this week, with the platform saying it contained "medical misinformation." The video has been re-uploaded numerous times by fans on October 21, with one uploader saying "YouTube banned this twice, ain't stopping us. Let's Go Brandon," with that video now having 335,469 views.

Alexander’s "Lets Go Brandon" song features the Alexander rapping over the NASCAR mishap that sparked the let’s go Brandon chant. Despite NASCAR attendees in the stands clearly shouting f-ck Joe Biden, a NBC reporter told Brandon Brown, who had just won the NASCAR Xfinity Series Race at Talladega, that the fans were chanting "let's go Brandon."

"Don't nobody want this commie cause we not in China," said Alexander.

"That's what they get for treatin' us like we in Squid Games. Green light, mandate like he's insane. These times people wakin' up to e'erything. Go Brandon, but we all know what the sayin' mean," he continued.

His song had previously topped the iTunes chart earlier this month.

Alexander's video currently has 3.5 million views on YouTube. Alexander's extended version of his song was ranked number 6 on the iTunes chart as well.

Following the NASCAR mishap, let's go Brandon chants have broken out in tamdon with f-ck Joe Biden chants across the country, especially at sporting events.

Britain
Mother of slain daughters dismisses UK police force apology
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] London’s police force has apologized to the family of two murdered sisters, saying its initial response to the crime was "below the standard that it should have been."The mother of the two women dismissed the apology Tuesday as too little, too late, saying the Metropolitan Police force had not taken responsibility for its "reprehensible" failings.

Bibaa Henry, 46, and Nicole Smallman, 27, were stabbed to death as they celebrated a birthday in a London park in June 2020.

An investigation by the Independent Office of Police Conduct found that the Metropolitan Police mishandled the initial missing persons reports by the sisters’ friends and family. It said information was recorded inaccurately, and a call handler was initially "dismissive."

Family members launched their own search for the women, and Smallman’s boyfriend found their bodies in bushes 36 hours after the killings.

Commissioner Cressida Dick, the head of the London police department, said that "if we had responded better, we may have saved their friends and family immeasurable pain."

"I am very sorry that the level of service we provided fell short," said Dick, who offered to visit the family and apologize in person.

In July a 19-year-old man, Danyal Hussein,
...a good English name...
was convicted of murdering the sisters, who were strangers to him. Prosecutors said Hussein was obsessed with demons and held the deluded belief that killing women would help him win a lottery jackpot.
So, he had good reason
The victims’ mother, Mina Smallman, a retired Church of England archdeacon, has strongly criticized the police response. She has said she believes officers showed a lack of urgency because they looked at one daughter’s address and saw her as "a Black woman who lives on a council (public housing) estate."

Smallman said Tuesday that the force’s actions suggested signs of "racial profiling, misogyny, or classism."

"We’re not the only parties who suffered mental anguish at the hands of the Met’s incompetent, reprehensible and blatant disregard of agreed procedures regarding missing persons," Smallman said.

#5  Have the resume shooting on the set?
Posted by: Procopius2k || 10/27/2021 16:38 Comments || Top||

#6  Ever since The Incident, the intertubes have been aflame with practical, life-saving rules for handling guns and some really stupid commentary.

Assume the gun is loaded, always check for yourself and never point a gun at anything you don't intend to shoot. This is required gun safety in the real world whether at the range, in 4H gun safety class, or home alone.

But this was a movie set. Movies are pretend. When the aliens destroyed the White House, when the giant dinosaur stomped down Tokyo, when the rogue financier broke the Bank of England... all make-believe pretend. (OK, maybe that last one really happened).

Famous Lawyer Guy said Baldwin should be charged with murder for picking up a gun, pointing it at someone and pulling the trigger. The stupid, it burns. It's a movie, people. Not the real world. But playing pretend does not mean it isn't dangerous.

Everyone on a movie set has a specific job. And part of that job is safety. When a lighting guy rigs an overhead light, he safety chains it, just in case a clamp slips. Just to be sure. Same with props and stunts and every other department. There are things you must do to make sure no one ends up injured or dead.

An actor is puppet, a programmable robot who goes here, does this, and says that, all controlled by the script. It is not the actor's job to check the props. That falls to the prop department, specifically the armorer. In this case, the armorer was a young gal doing her second big movie. Someone did not verify this gun was in a proper safe state. My guess is someone along the food chain was rushing production and steps got skipped. I've also read that the gun was used earlier for plinking at cans which strikes me as incredibly irresponsible.

Like swksvolFF said, Get careless, get hurt. Or worse. Sorry for the long rant but the misplaced blame and outrage really cheeses me off.

Delhi NIA court sentences four Hizb operatives in militancy case
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) special Court Delhi has sentenced two Hizbul Mujahideen
...Party of Holy Warriors, founded by Muhammad Ahsan Dar in September 1989. One of the Pak sock puppets waging jihad in Indian Kashmir. It was originally organized as the armed wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. In 1990, Dar declared Hizbul as the sword arm of Jamaat. Hizbul murdered many of the pro-independence intelligentsia in Kashmir. After the organization was taken over by Syed Salahuddin Dar and several other ex-Hizb leaders were assassinated between 2001 and 2003...
operatives for 12 years while sentencing two others for 10 years rigorous imprisonment besides fine in a militancy related case, news agency KNO reported on Tuesday.

The convicted accused Mohammad Shafi Shah alias Doctor, alias Dawood, alias Nisar has been sentenced with rigorous imprisonment 12 years and fine Rs 15000, Talib Lali alias Waseem alias Abu Umer, sentenced with RI 10 years and fine Rs 10000, Muzaffar Ahmad Dar alias Gaznavi, alias Mohd Ali sentenced with RI 12 years and fine Rs 15000 and Mushtaq Ahmad Lone alias Mushtaq Aalam sentenced with RI 10 years and fine Rs 10000, the front man said.

"This case was registered by the NIA at New Delhi on 25.10.2011
...a full decade? Justice grinds slowly in India...
against Mohd. Yusuf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin
...the aging, morbidly obese chief of Hizbul Mujaheddin and the titular head of the United Jihad Council in idyllic Kashmire. Originally owned body and theoretical soul by Jamaat-e-Islami he and his organization are currently controlled by Pakistain's ISI. Salahuddin's hobbies include crocheting doilies shaped like the Taj Mahal, combing his enormous beard, and eating....
and others, who as members of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM ) were carrying out terrorist activities in India and regularly receiving funds from neighbouring jurisdiction. The funds so collected by HM through Jammu Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain.
Affecters Relief Trust (JKART), an NGO and frontal organization of HM, were being given to active murderous Moslems and families of killed murderous Moslems of HM in J&K," he added.

The NIA said after investigation, 12 accused were charge-sheeted in this case four have been convicted and sentenced and remaining 8 accused are active cadres of HM including Syed Salauddin; who are absconding and currently based in Pakistain.

Europe
More than 1,000 Belgian police officers carry out dozens of raids and arrests in a sweeping operation targeting cocaine smugglers
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

"From 5:00 am, more than a hundred searches took place mainly in the Brussels region," front man Eric Van Duyse said.

The operation -- the biggest in Belgium since March -- came after authorities cracked an encrypted communications network used by criminal gangs.

The national Belga news agency reported that Tuesday’s raids targeted an Albanian crime network.
Albanians? Oh dear.
Belgium and neighboring Netherlands have overtaken Spain to become the main smuggling hubs for cocaine flowing into Europe, law enforcement agency Europol said last month.

Seizures at Belgium’s port of Antwerp reached a record 65.6 tonnes in 2020, with Colombia, Brasil and Ecuador being the leading countries of origin.

The operation in March that led to 48 arrests in Brussels was part of a cross-border operation after police shut down the Sky ECC encrypted phone network.

The authorities had been able to monitor messages being exchanged by criminals after cracking the special phone network.

Exxon CEO Promotes Salary Hikes In Attempt To Get Employee Attrition Under Control
[ZERO] It appears that not even oil supermajor Exxon, who has recently been struggling with its image as a fossil fuel company during the age of ESG, is immune to labor shortages.

The company is in the midst of considering salary hikes for its workers as a means to combat attrition across its business divisions, a new Bloomberg report revealed this week.

CEO Darren Woods told employees they should be "encouraged" by the salary review process.

"The policies we’re putting in place will get back to where people can begin to see a different path going forward than the path we came out of in 2020," Woods told his team at a October 20 town hall meeting, according to the report.

He didn't indicate the size of any potential pay hikes, nor did he note which employees would be eligible. A company spokesman said that the program could alter salaries, promotions and retirement benefits.

"We anticipate 2022 will follow our typical annual salary and promotion process, with industry benchmarking informing decisions about our 2022 salary program in advance of a January 1 effective date. We are recruiting, hiring and backfilling roles," company spokesman Casey Norton said.

Due to the pandemic, and the ensuing crash in oil, Exxon went from being one of the country's highest paying employers to imposing large job cuts and suspending matches to employee retirement programs.

#2  If history is any guide, they do not want back the employees they got rid of over the past five years, they want to replace them with ones with 5-10 years experience, lower short-term cost and longer future potential. Then in 5-10 years they will get rid of half these new people.
