Colorado postal carrier and a friend accused of forging stolen mail ballots to test voting security
You needn’t vote Democrat — it’ll be handled for you.
[MSN-AyPee] A postal worker and her friend were arrested Wednesday in connection with the forging of stolen mail ballots in an alleged attempt to test the security of Colorado's voting system, according to court documents.

Mail carrier Vicki Lyn Stuart and Sally Jane Maxedon were arrested on suspicion of identity theft, attempt to influence a public servant and forgery, according to their arrest affidavits. There were no attorneys listed as representing them yet in court records. Neither has been formally charged yet.

In a statement, the office of 21st District Attorney Dan Rubinstein said its Sherlocks began a probe on Oct. 21 after residents who never submitted a ballot or ever received a ballot in the mail were notified that their ballots were not being counted because of discrepancies with their signatures.

Colorado overwhelmingly votes by mail, which officials tout as a safe and convenient method that avoids long lines and last-minute problems on Election Day. Ballots are mailed to voters who can either return them by mail or drop them off in ballot boxes. Election workers check the signatures on the envelopes holding mail ballots against voter signatures they have on file to ensure they are being submitted by the voter the ballot was sent to.

The investigation into the stolen and forged ballots was announced by Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold last month.

At the time, she said at least 12 mailed ballots were stolen in Mesa County and sent in with fraudulent votes, three of which slipped past county election officials and were counted for the election that ended Tuesday. Because ballots themselves are not signed, once they are removed from the signature envelope, there is no way to identify them.
A weak point in the system that needs to be shored up — most effectively by returning to in-person voting on election day.
According to the arrest affidavits, victims are still being located and confirmed, and Sherlocks believe there could be over 20 people whose ballots were stolen.

Mesa County is where former county clerk Tina Peters was recently sentenced to prison for a data-breach scheme spawned from false claims about voter machine fraud in the 2020 presidential race.

Europe
Jews are being hunted by mobs in Amsterdam tonight.
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

The Times of Israel has a couple of posts on the liveblog:
Israel Foreign Ministry says 10 Israelis hurt in Amsterdam assaults, 2 unreachable
[IsraelTimes] Citing information from Dutch authorities, the Foreign Ministry says 10 Israelis were hurt in the attacks in Amsterdam on Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters.

A statement from the ministry says the severity of the injuries are unclear.

The Foreign Ministry also says that Israelis are currently out of touch, and that it’s advising Israeli citizens not to leave their hotels.

The National Security Council issues a similar instruction, while calling on those who are out in public not display any Israeli or Jewish symbols.

Assailants shouting ‘free Palestine’ brutally attack Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam
[IsraelTimes] Fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv report being attacked in the streets of Amsterdam after the Israeli soccer team’s loss to local club Ajax, with video from the Dutch city showing brutal assaults by masked assailants, some of whom carry Palestinian flags and shout “free Palestine.”

Reports say a number of Israelis were injured, but there are no immediate figures.

Some of the targeted Israelis’ passports were stolen by the attackers, according to Hebrew media outlets.

Netanyahu asks Dutch counterpart to boost security for Jewish community in the Netherlands
[IsraelTimes] Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaks to his Dutch counterpart Dick Schoof about the attack on Israelis in Amsterdam, says the Prime Minister’s Office.

Netanyahu stresses the importance of the Dutch government ensuring the safety of all Israelis in the country and tells Schoof that he treats the premeditated attack seriously.
Premeditated? Another project for Mossad, if the Dutch don't handle it quickly.
He also asks for increased security for the Jewish community in the Netherlands.

The premier thanks Schoof for his statements on the attack, which he called antisemitic.

Planes are on their way to the Netherlands to bring home Israelis, including those injured.

The PMO says that Netanyahu was in direct contact with the Foreign Ministry and his military secretary from the time that the incident began.

Israeli Foreign Ministry: Three Israelis still missing in the Netherlands
As of about 1:30 a.m. ET:
[IsraelTimes] There are still three Israelis missing in the Netherlands, says the Foreign Ministry.Additional phone lines have been added at the Israeli embassy in the country and the Foreign Ministry situation room.

Dutch PM vows perpetrators of ‘unacceptable, antisemitic’ attack in Amsterdam will be caught
[IsraelTimes] Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof says that he is horrified by the “unacceptable, antisemitic” attacks on Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam following a conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He says that the “perpetrators will be tracked down and prosecuted” and that order has been restored in Amsterdam following the overnight violence.

Red State is also following the story. Kidnapping or potential kidnapping is a concern. Check back at the link for updates.
Multiple outlets are reporting that anti-Israel mobs are chasing down Israelis and savagely beating them on the streets of Amsterdam Thursday following a soccer game between Maccabi Tel Aviv FC and Amsterdam's Ajax.

As of this writing, dozens of extremely disturbing videos are being posted to X depicting violent beatings as individuals are surrounded and then pummeled.

… as they returned by train from the game.
➡️ Footage circulating on social media shows fans being beaten and chased with knives.
➡️ Dutch authorities say 10 Israelis were injured and they have lost contact with two individuals.
➡️ About 57 suspects have reportedly been arrested.
➡️ Israel has dispatched two rescue planes to bring Israelis home.
➡️ The situation is still ongoing with hundreds of Israelis being instructed to lock themselves in hotel rooms and not go outside.

Deutsche Welle gives the big picture:
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE INCIDENT
A Europa League football match between Ajax Amsterdam and Maccabi Tel Aviv took place on Thursday night.

Clashes broke out between pro-Palestinian demonstrators and Dutch police before the fixture who had reported "tensions" in several parts of the city in the run-up to the match, which Ajax won 5-0.

In an earlier post on X, police said that a Palestinian flag had been pulled from a facade by "currently unknown persons."

Police said later that several hundred Maccabi fans had gathered on Dam Square, where the atmosphere was reported to have been tense but then calmer.

A pro-Palestinian rally demonstrating against the Israeli football club's visit had initially been scheduled to take place near the stadium but was moved by city authorities for security reasons.

Clashes had taken place as part of the group of demonstrators tried to make their way to the stadium but were stopped by riot police, who were pelted with "heavy fireworks."

Police said 57 people were arrested and that due to unrest, police were still visible in the city.
Possibly in light of all that, Paris and UEFA authorities will change their minds about this: UEFA says no problem with bloodstained ‘Free Palestine’ banner at Paris soccer game

Seriously.
ISLAM's own book of faith, the Qur'an, (written about 400 to 500+ years after the Jewish Old Testament), clearly calls for those of the Islam/Muslim faith to make violence on all not of Islam.

Which majority of the Islamic faith have a well documented history of thus doing.

#17  Lord Garth NO that is the exact censorship the deep state wants

Tye problem is Muslim migration

The answer is shutting the borders to muslims, deporting those not yet citizens

And then banning the practise of sharia law by defining it as an enemy ideology with which we are at war and prosecuting any that practise it for treason

Existing treason laws will ensure compliance or emigration of the muslim colonists

#18  To summarize ACA Joe’s various really believable disguises:

The proper response to the kind of trash-talking done by all other soccer fans around the world is to collect up knives, clubs, iron bars, steel-toed shoes, and thousands of one’s dearest friends, and rampage for hours through the streets beating up anyone who looks Jewish or Jewish-adjacent.

And the proper response of the police and the public is to stand by and do nothing until the prime minister and the king start asking questions, then arrest a couple dozen people who will mostly later be turned loose for lack of evidence.

They do not rise to the level of barbarians. ACA Joe. the little pipsqueak who finds that admirable and overly exciting, do not rise to the level of the scum that floats in the gutter.

You are not welcome here, Qatar tells Hamas
[Jpost] Sources told KAN that this development has been underway in recent days, allegedly due to US pressure.
Not American pressure, or it would have happened any time in the last almost-four years. President-elect Trump pressure.
Qatar has reportedly clarified to the terrorist group Hamas, "You are not welcome here," KAN reported on Friday, citing a source familiar with the matter.

This development has reportedly been underway in recent days, three sources told KAN.
Since Wednesday, yes?
One source told KAN that this is due to pressure from the US.

According to the report, Qatar had previously explained that Hamas's leadership in the country was meant to facilitate dialogue during hostage negotiation efforts.

Iranian asset charged in plot to assassinate Trump, DOJ says
[FoxNews] Justice Department unseals charges against Iranian asset

The Justice Department says it has thwarted an Iranian plot to kill President-elect Donald Trump in the weeks leading up to the election.

A criminal complaint filed in federal court in New York City says an unnamed official in Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps had asked Farhad Shakeri, 51, of Iran, in September to "focus on surveilling, and, ultimately, assassinating, former President of the United States, Donald J. Trump."

"There are few actors in the world that pose as grave a threat to the national security of the United States as does Iran," Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement. "The Justice Department has charged an asset of the Iranian regime who was tasked by the regime to direct a network of criminal associates to further Iran’s assassination plots against its targets, including President-elect Donald Trump.

"We have also charged and arrested two individuals who we allege were recruited as part of that network to silence and kill, on U.S. soil, an American journalist who has been a prominent critic of the regime," Garland added. "We will not stand for the Iranian regime’s attempts to endanger the American people and America’s national security."

The Justice Department says Shakeri, who remains at large and is believed to be living in Iran, "immigrated to the United States as a child and was deported in or about 2008 after serving 14 years in prison for a robbery conviction."

"Shakeri has informed law enforcement that he was tasked on Oct. 7, 2024, with providing a plan to kill President-elect Donald J. Trump," it added.
*Ring Ring* “Hello? Hello, can you hear me? I’m calling from America and I need to speak to a Mr. Shakeri — Mr. Farhad Shakeri? The Mossad says he lives at this phone number.”
“No, no — there is no Shakeri here. This is the Alavitabar household. We don’t know any Americans.”
“Voice match says you are Mr. Farhad Shakeri. The Mossad gave us recordings from your cell phone last week. You called your mother at 4:03 p.m. on Thursday, and then you spoke to your father’s second younger brother, Bakhtiar, on Friday after breakfast, at 10:17. Silver tongued devil, that one. He’s lying about that thing he promised, though, so don’t give him any money for it. *silence* So, Farhad — may I call you Farhad? I feel like we're already such good friends — tell us about this plot you were hired for, to kill Donald Trump.”
Trump was referred to in court filings as "Victim-4."

"According to Shakeri, during his meeting with IRGC Official-I on or about October 7, 2024, IRGC Official-I directed Shakeri to provide a plan within seven days to kill Victim-4. If Shakeri was unable to put forth a plan within that timeframe, IRGC Official-I continued, the IRGC would pause its plan to kill Victim-4 until after the U.S. Presidential elections, because IRGC Official-I assessed that Victim-4 would lose the election and, afterward, it would be easier to assassinate Victim-4," the documents said.
What, did the Justice Department send a delegation to Tehran to interview the guy in his kitchen? It’s the kind of thing the Mossad would do, to be sure, but it seems out of left field for the US Justice Department.
"[Shakeri] also stated he was tasked with surveilling two Jewish American citizens residing in New York City and offered $500,000 by an IRGC official for the murder of either victim. He was also tasked with targeting Israeli tourists in Sri Lanka," the Justice Department added.

Federal prosecutors have also charged and arrested Carlisle Rivera, 49, of Brooklyn, New York; and Jonathon Loadholt, 36, of Staten Island, New York, "in connection with their alleged involvement in a plot to murder a U.S. citizen of Iranian origin in New York."

A law enforcement source briefed on the investigation tells Fox News that the Iranian American is Masih Alinejad.
Ms Alinejad is an Iranian opposition activist and journalist for the VOA Persian News Service who has been living in exile in New York City. This is not the first Iranian plot against her…
"At Shakeri’s instruction, Loadholt and Rivera have spent months surveilling a U.S. citizen of Iranian origin residing in the United States (Victim-1). Victim-1 is an outspoken critic of the Iranian regime and has been the target of multiple prior plots for kidnapping and/or murder directed by the Government of Iran," the Justice Department said. "In exchange for Shakeri’s promise of $100,000, Rivera and Loadholt repeatedly sought to locate Victim-1 for murder."

Prosecutors say that during their efforts to locate and kill Alinejad, "Shakeri, Loadholt, and Rivera shared messages about their progress and photographs relating to their scheme.

"For example, in or about February 2024, Rivera and Loadholt messaged about an incoming payment from Shakeri, and then traveled to Fairfield University, where Victim-1 was scheduled to appear, and took photographs on campus," according to the Justice Department. "In one voice note, Shakeri told Rivera that Victim-1 spent most of her time in particular locations of her home, and told Rivera that ‘you just gotta have patience … You gotta wait and have patience to catch her either going in the house or coming out, or following her out somewhere and taking care of it. Don’t think about going in. In is a suicide move.’"

All three suspects are now facing charges of murder-for-hire, conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire and money laundering conspiracy, which carry maximum penalties of 10 to 20 years in prison.

Shakeri has also been charged with conspiring to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization and conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act and sanctions against the Government of Iran, which each carry a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, according to prosecutors.

Interesting detail from CNN at 7:00 p.m ET: Shakeri is an Afghan national residing in Tehran.
From the Times of Israel after the midnight rollover, added to get it into the record:
Shakeri held the conversations with FBI agents because he was hoping to obtain a sentence reduction for a person who is imprisoned in the United States, it said.

FBI senior execs left 'shell-shocked' over Trump victory, 'scrambling to retire ASAP'
[PM] Senior executives at the FBI have reportedly been left "stunned" and "shell-shocked" over Trump’s landslide victory in the 2024 election, which resulted in him winning all swing states, the electoral votes necessary, and the popular vote over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

One FBI source told the Washington Times in regards to the agency’s fitness requirements, "You know the fit test? How they let the standards slack on the fit test? Everyone’s going to have a real problem when they’re running for the door."

The sources added that FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Director Paul Abbate are unlikely to remain at the agency before Trump is sworn in. Employees at the FBI also recalled when Trump in his first term fired former Director James Comey five months into his presidency.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Why Russia needs an independent Africa
[RT] The majority of African countries are now well on the way to strengthening their own independence and their own institutions in various fields, including finances, politics, and culture. This is a long and complex journey, but one that is strategically necessary in an increasingly unpredictable world where only strong states can be truly independent.

For Russia, cooperation with Africa is not just a set of economically driven projects with a win-win outcome, but also an essential part of building a new foreign policy architecture and a fairer global order.

In a practical sense, African sovereignty demands investments, which means that it is a costly project for the African nations themselves. However, in the long run, investments in sovereignty usually pay off, and form the basis for the well-being of nations for many years to come.

The majority of African countries are now well on the way to strengthening their own independence and their own institutions in various fields, including finances, politics, and culture.

[RT] EU needs urgent economic overhaul
The ex-head of the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi says a revamp is even more critical now that Donald Trump has been elected US president.

[RT] EU needs to become ‘omnivorous'
So many adjectives that he clearly intended to convey a profound philosophic meaning.
The EU in its current state is a ‘herbivore’ surrounded by “carnivores,” and must become bolder and less dependent on the US and China, French President Emmanuel Macron has said.

The president made the remarks on Thursday while addressing EU leaders at the fifth European Political Community summit in Budapest, Hungary. Macron reiterated his longstanding message that the bloc should play a more assertive role in global affairs.

”For me, it’s simple. The world is made up of herbivores and carnivores. If we decide to remain herbivores, then the carnivores will win and we will be a market for them,” Macron said. He cautioned, however, against becoming too “aggressive.”

“I think, at the very least, we should choose to become omnivores. I don’t want to be aggressive, just that we know how to defend ourselves on all these subjects.”

The French president urged the EU to lower its dependency on major foreign actors, including the US and China. Delegating economic development and its geopolitics to third parties has ultimately turned out to be “not the best idea,” he said.

“We [in Europe] think that we should delegate our geopolitics to the United States of America, that we should delegate our growth debt to our Chinese clients, that we should delegate our technological innovation to the American hyper-scalers,” Macron stated.

[RT] US moves another strategic bomber to Europe
A US B-52 strategic nuclear bomber has landed in the UK, taking the total to three such arrivals since the start of the month, local aviation enthusiasts have reported. The US Air Force earlier announced an upcoming deployment of warplanes to Europe.
Why? Who should be warned by their sudden presence?
Having entered service back in 1952, the B-52 remains one of the pillars of Washington’s nuclear triad.

On Thursday, the RAF Fairford Movements website, which specializes in tracking incoming and outgoing aircraft at the RAF Fairford airbase in Gloucestershire, claimed that a B52H bomber codenamed ROPE32 had arrived at around 2:30pm local time.

According to plane spotters, two more warplanes of the same type, FLUX11 and FLUX12, had touched down at Fairford on Tuesday.

Local media has claimed that a fourth American strategic bomber is expected to arrive in Britain in the coming days. One of the aircraft believed to already be at the airbase reportedly took part in drills with the Finnish Air Force before landing in the UK.

US test-launches nuclear ballistic missile on election day READ MORE: US test-launches nuclear ballistic missile on election day
US B-52s previously visited the UK back in June.

Last Friday, the United States Air Forces in Europe issued a statement saying that the “next Bomber Task Force-Europe deployment is scheduled to begin in the coming days with US strategic bombers transiting from the continental US to the US European Command area of responsibility.”

The “long-planned” exercise would see American aircraft “train and operate alongside NATO Allies and partners for several weeks demonstrating the US commitment to global security and stability,” the statement added.

Last October, the US, Japan, and South Korea held their first-ever joint aerial drills, which included at least one American B-52 nuclear-capable strategic bomber. The aerial maneuvers drew condemnation from North Korea, which views such exercises as preparation for potential aggression.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Ellen Greenberg prosecutors say they can't prove crime in 'suicide' by 20 stab wounds
[FoxNews] Chester County DA makes surprising announcement on 'suicide' case of 27-year-old Ellen Greenberg

A Pennsylvania district attorney made a major announcement in its outside investigation into the case of 27-year-old Ellen Greenberg, a Philadelphia teacher whose 2011 death was ruled a suicide after her fiancé found her in the kitchen during a blizzard with 20 stab wounds, half of them from behind.

Her parents, Dr. Josh and Sandee Greenberg, have been entangled in court battles with the government since their daughter's untimely death. They have accused the medical examiner's office of covering up their daughter's homicide, demanded police turn over more evidence and tried suing to have the designation of "suicide" on her death certificate replaced with "homicide" or "undetermined."

The Chester County District Attorney's Office announced Friday morning that it has conducted its investigation, and prosecutors are "currently unable to move forward with criminal charges." They are moving Greenberg's case to an "inactive" status in Chester County but are leaving it open to re-examine if they get new information.

After re-interviewing key people in the original Philadelphia investigation, consulting an independent forensic expert and taking other investigatory steps, "Chester County's investigative team determined that, based on the current state of the evidence, we cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a crime was committed," the office said.

The DA's office noted that there is no statute of limitations for criminal homicide, said that the case would remain open and, therefore, investigators would "not be answering any questions about this matter."

The DA's office met with Greenberg's parents and their attorney on Thursday to share the news before announcing it to the public.

"They didn't go very deeply into the case…they really didn't come up with anything new," Dr. Josh Greenberg told Fox News Digital.

"Our conviction about Ellen having been murdered does not change due to the announcement by the Chester County District Attorney’s Office," Greenberg family attorney Joseph Podraza said in a press release he provided to Fox News Digital.

"Admittedly, the investigation conducted by the Chester County District Attorney’s Office was extremely limited and constrained. The Office told us that they did not investigate the core issues which we have raised which establish Ellen was murdered, and that evidence remains unchallenged," Podraza continued.

"The independent forensic expert who they said they consulted during the course of the investigation was similarly bounded by his own limited background, an undergraduate degree in entomology (the study of insects) and a masters in criminal justice, but no medical school training, nor any training in the specialty of forensic pathology, both of which are necessary in order to competently assess the evidence uncovered in this case to date."

The Chester County District Attorney's Office initiated an independent investigation roughly two years ago, after both Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner and former Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, now the governor, both recused themselves from the case.

Krasner had previously worked with Greenberg's parents as part of his private practice, and Shapiro previously denied having "an actual conflict" but acknowledged the "appearance" of one.

When Shapiro was the attorney general, a spokesperson told Fox News Digital that not only his office undertook "an exhaustive review and conducted new forensic analysis" – but also that new expert testimony and information had been withheld from investigators.

"These unfortunate limitations and constraints notwithstanding, we do appreciate the District Attorney’s professional courtesy of speaking with the family and candidly acknowledging all these limitations and constraints," Podraza added. "We also point out that another highly experienced homicide prosecutor while employed at the Philadelphia DA’s Office conducted his own independent review of this case, thoroughly investigated all the issues surrounding Ellen’s death, and reached the opposite conclusion, that Ellen was murdered.

We now look forward to an upcoming trial where a full and forthright examination of the core issues surrounding Ellen’s murder may be publicly conducted before an independent judge and jury of our peers."

In September, Pennsylvania's Supreme Court agreed to hear arguments from the Greenbergs and their attorney.

"The Supreme Court is going to be deciding whether or not Sandee and I have standing. And that's a real big thing … I mean, no one has ever gotten this far. … I know it's taken almost 14 years, but it's still a very important case," Dr. Greenberg previously told Fox News Digital.

Greenberg was found on Jan. 6, 2011 with 20 stab wounds, including 10 from behind, at least one of which could have been inflicted after she was already dead, according to court documents. Her body was also covered in bruises in different stages of healing, which her parents say are consistent with abuse.

At the time of her death, Greenberg and her fiancé, Sam Goldberg, had recently sent out "save-the-dates" for their upcoming wedding. Her body was found in the kitchen near a half-made fruit salad on the countertop.

After her death, a forensic pathologist with the city medical examiner's office, Dr. Marlon Osbourne, ruled it a homicide, according to court documents. Then he reversed course after meeting with police behind closed doors and deemed it officially a suicide.

Greenberg's parents and experienced outside investigators have raised concerns that police botched their response to her death and released the scene too early. They have also questioned why Goldberg's uncle, James Schwartzman, was allowed to remove a number of items from the scene.

"Things were removed from the crime scene without our permission. The chain of custody was broken from the very beginning when Jim Schwartzman removed computers, electronics, my daughter's handbag," Dr. Josh Greenberg previously told Fox News Digital.

A representative for Schwartzman, a distinguished judge in Pennsylvania, responded to these claims on his behalf, saying police gave him permission to go in and take Greenberg's belongings. He denied removing her handbag, but he admitted to removing her computers and cellphones.

"The door was damaged and unsecure, and he took out items that he thought might be stolen," the representative for Schwartzman previously explained to Fox News Digital on his behalf. He added that Schwartzman did not need the permission of Greenberg's parents to take anything from the apartment once police released the scene.

Neither Goldberg nor Schwartzman have been charged with any wrongdoing in relation to Greenberg's death.

Caribbean-Latin America
Leaked Report Warns Venezuela Sending Intel Operatives, Released Prisoners to ‘Neutralize' Targets in U.S.
[Breitbart] In a report reviewed exclusively by Breitbart Texas, human intelligence developed by frontline Border Patrol intelligence officers reveals the possibility of a formal covert operation being conducted by the Maduro regime. The operation is designed to infiltrate the United States using released inmates and pairing them with Venezuelan intelligence operatives to “neutralize” human targets within the United States.

The report’s narrative, generated by the Rio Grande Valley Sector Intelligence Unit (SIU), indicates that released inmates from Venezuelan prisons have been directed to travel to the United States alongside Venezuelan intelligence officers to track down former Venezuelan military members, politicians, and law enforcement officials within the United States and “neutralize” them. According to the report, the motive is to prevent the release of classified information that Venezuelan officials may possess.

Breitbart Texas received the report obtained from a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) who was not authorized to speak to the media. The report, known as a Field Intelligence Report (FIR), is generally developed and disseminated by the agency’s Intelligence Units. The reports are generated when information is received from various sources that criminal activity is occurring, likely to occur, or needs further investigation.

Among the sources of information relied upon to complete the reports are interviews with criminal suspects or other persons of interest. The report released to Breitbart Texas involves information provided by a Venezuelan source with details regarding the Maduro operation.

The FIR is preliminary and has not been thoroughly investigated, according to the source.

“This is not the first report we have developed related to Venezuelan prison releases from sources we have interviewed,” the source explained. “This is alarming, considering we have a new administration entering office in January.”

The source says the Venezuelan government has every reason to believe the nearly 600,000 Venezuelans that have crossed into the United States under the Biden-Harris administration may soon be back in front of CBP and ICE officials if a mass deportation program comes to fruition.

“The report’s timing raises more questions as the Maduro regime may fear some Venezuelans may trade information to avoid removal,” the source emphasized. “It certainly merits more investigation,”

The issue of the Maduro government releasing inmates and sending them to the United States has been a topic touched upon by President-Elect Donald Trump for which he has been criticized.

The information relied upon by President Trump was based on a September 2022 exclusive report by Breitbart Texas. At the time, Breitbart Texas received an intelligence report produced by the Border Patrol that warned agents to be on the lookout for released Venezuelan prison inmates entering the United States. The report indicated Venezuela’s Maduro government had purposely freed the inmates, including some convicted of murder, rape, and extortion. That report made no mention of government intelligence or counter-intelligence agents being deployed.

The likelihood that the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), Venezuela’s equivalent to the CIA, may be involved in a plot to silence or protect matters of interest to the Maduro regime is bolstered by the dictator’s previous use of the organization to quell dissent within the country.

According to a United Nations report in 2022, SEBIN operatives were used to commit crimes against its citizens to repress dissent.

“Our investigations and analysis show that the Venezuelan State relies on the intelligence services and its agents to repress dissent in the country. In doing so, grave crimes and human rights violations are being committed, including acts of torture and sexual violence. These practices must stop immediately, and the individuals responsible must be investigated and prosecuted in accordance with the law,” said Marta Valiñas, Chair of the United Nations Fact Finding Commission on the issue.

Audi crashes on German Market
[US NEWS & WORLD REPORT] Audi Plans Thousands of Job Cuts Outside Production, Report Says

BERLIN (Reuters) - German automaker Audi is looking to shrink its workforce in the medium term by cutting jobs outside of production, with thousands of positions at risk, the Manager Magazin reported on Thursday.

The job cuts are to focus on so-called indirect jobs at the company, such as in the area of development, where over 2,000 jobs could go, the report said.

It said the company is targeting a reduction of about 15%. In Germany alone, this would impact 4,500 indirect jobs

Audi, a subsidiary of struggling auto giant Volkswagen, confirmed to Reuters that the board of management was currently in negotiations with workers' representatives but did not comment on the number of jobs that could be affected.

Audi saw a sharp fall in profit in the third quarter, partly due to high costs associated with the likely closure of its plant in Brussels.

Hershey [PA] Cuts Full-Year Sales Outlook As Americans Dial Back On Snack Consumption
[[ZeroHedge] Cash-strapped consumers had no joy and happiness in the third quarter as they dialed back spending on chocolate and salty snacks produced by Hershey Co. The company slashed its net sales growth and earnings outlook after consumers balked at rising retail snack prices due to soaring cocoa costs.

Hershey reported third-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $2.34, missing the $2.56 forecast held by analysts tracked by Bloomberg. Salty snack sales in the quarter plummeted in the US, while candy sales were marginally higher.
No mention of the March 2023 Hershey’s “Her for She” campaign that included transgender activist Fae Johnstone — the redheaded person who is equally unattractive whether dressing up as male or female, poor thing — as one of the five women featured in the ads for International Women’s Day. Europe
German Government Falls!!
[CNN] Germany’s governing coalition has collapsed after disagreements over the country’s weak economy led Chancellor Olaf Scholz to sack his finance minister.

Christian Lindner’s dismissal prompted him to withdraw his Free Democrats Party (FDP) from a coalition with Scholz’s Social Democratic Party (SPD), leaving Scholz in a minority government with the Green Party.

Scholz said he would now call a confidence vote for January 15, which, if he lost, could allow elections to be held by the end of March next year – six months earlier than the elections planned for September 2025.

Germany now faces turmoil at a time of broader uncertainty. The political crisis was triggered just hours after it was announced former US President Donald Trump will get a second term – an election outcome that could bring further woes to Germany’s economy as well as threaten Europe’s united front on key issues. Here’s what we know.

Mississippi mayor and other officials indicted on federal corruption charges
[JustTheNews] Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba is facing five federal charges, Hinds County District Attorney Jody Owens is facing eight charges, and Ward 6 Councilman Aaron Banks is facing two.

Jackson, Mississippi Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba and other city officials on Thursday pleaded not guilty to a string of federal corruption charges.

The group of indicted officials, which includes Hinds County District Attorney Jody Owens, and Ward 6 Councilman Aaron Banks, has been accused of accepting thousands of dollars in bribes in exchange for favors and positive votes, according to USA Today.

Another city council member, along with a conspirator, was charged in the case earlier this year, and pleaded guilty. The city council member Angelique Lee admitted that she accepted nearly $20,000 in "cash, deposits and other gifts." The conspirator, Sherik Marve' Smith, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery.

Owens is currently facing the most amount of charges of the group, with eight felony counts. Lumumba is facing five charges, and Banks is facing two. The charges range from bribery to racketeering.

The indictment detailed that Owens facilitated $80,000 in bribes to Lumumba and Lee in exchange for official action on a hotel development project.

Owens also allegedly accepted $115,000 from undercover FBI agents who were posing as developers from Nashville.

“Owens, Banks, Lumumba, Lee and Smith were not aware that, in reality, the Developers were working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation,” the indictment states.

Owens and Lumumba have denied the bribery allegations, and the mayor claimed the case was "political prosecution."

"To be clear, I have never accepted a bribe of any type. As mayor, I have always acted in the best interest of the citizens of Jackson," Lumumba said in a statement. "We believe this to be a political prosecution against me, primarily designed to destroy my credibility and reputation within the community. There is no coincidence, and its timing being just before the upcoming mayoral race.

"My legal team will vigorously defend me against these charges," he continued. "Again, while I am disappointed, I am not deterred, so I ask for your patience and your prayers during this process."

Australians have one week to save themselves from the Censorship Bill
[LettersFromAustralia] The Censorship Bill now before the Parliament was punched through the lower house in a shock vote on Thursday, November 7.

They did this on the sly, while we were looking at the US elections - then blinded us with the squid ink of “ban on social media for under-16s”.

It has now passed both the Second and the Third Readings, which leaves just the Senate to stop it with a vote.

This “Misinformation” Bill will give an unelected bureaucracy (ACMA) control of everything you can hear, see and say on social media, censoring the internet.

ACMA is full of Permanent Canberra bureaucrats, spies and ex-cops. They will decide what is “accurate” and what is “wrong” or “lies” and then censor what they deem “misinformation”.

You will never again see or share a dissenting scientific, medical or economic opinion if the Government decides it is causing too much flack for the bureaucracy or their corporate “partners”.

If you want free speech you must act now, there’s no time to waste. Senate sits next on November 18 - you can see the calendar here.

To stop this Bill you need to contact the Senators in your state - and tell them that if they vote this into law, that you will punish them at the next election and campaign actively to have them voted out. Go in person (but be polite) to your nearest electoral office. Failing that, phone their office. Be always calm and polite - never rude.

There must be electoral consequences for this.

I will update this Substack with a record of how they voted. They will not be forgotten.

This Bill will not only censor the internet, it will back-engineer censorship of corporate media where the metric of journalistic success is clicks and shares on socials.

If socials are censored for what the government calls “misinformation” then The Guardian, ABC, SBS and Nine will all self-censor, too.

Lawyer Tony Nikolic accurately pinpointed that the institutions that stand behind this “misinformation” censorship bill - media organisations, government agencies, regulatory bodies and bureaucracies - are not neutral arbiters of truth. Rather, they are gatekeeepers, filtering and sanitising information to protect their own interests.

I will add that they are the bureaucratic class of university-educated entitled people, who despise the blue-collar working class. They hate you and they will not share power with you, and they are afraid of you. That is why they want to control what you can say and share online.

“Free speech is not dangerous,” Nikolic wrote.

“It is the cure for misinformation, prejudice, and bias. It is through the clash of opinions, unfettered debate, and the exchange of ideas that we as a society find truth.”

More than 22,000 people have signed a petition against the Bill as of November 8: click the button below to add your voice.
But only if you are Australian. Foreign voices have no vote for such petitions.

Biden failed to top up oil reserves in the leadup to the election, but refilling will take years
[JustTheNews] Some analysts had feared that President Biden would tap the stockpile again to address any increases in gasoline prices in the lead up to the Nov. 5 presidential election, as he did in 2022, which would end the DOE’s efforts to refill the SPR.
No worries. President Trump will encourage oil production again, and we’ll refill the reserve at a lower price than his predecessor sold. Probably within six months.

Economy
Breitbart Business Digest: Four Policy Changes Trump Can Adopt to Make the U.S. Economy Great Again
WHAT THE TRUMP VICTORY MEANS FOR OUR ECONOMY
The decisive election of Donald Trump to a second presidential term has fueled the hopes of investors for a renewal of economic momentum, a stronger labor market, a revived manufacturing sector, and more abundant energy. As a result, the stock market has soared to new highs.

Voters have long signaled their rejection of “Bidenomics,” the combination of big-spending and centralized command-and-control economic policies built around leftwing social and environmental goals that led to the worst explosion of inflation in four decades. Many told pollsters that they believed their own household financial positions had worsened during the course of the Biden administration and said they preferred the economy when Trump was president.

Of course, Trump cannot simply turn back the clock to the pre-Biden era. Too much damage has been done to the economy, and new challenges have to be met with new policies.

Investors have so far focused on three major policy changes likely to be adopted in a second Trump administration. The first is tax cuts, both for workers and companies that produce goods domestically. The second is tariffs, which would likely help domestic manufacturers and encourage investment in the U.S. The third is the unwinding of the massive growth of regulatory red-tape seen in the Biden administration.

But a fourth policy that could supercharge the economy and advance Trump’s agenda is less familiar. Among the advisers to the president, discussions are occurring around using bank regulation to encourage investment in high-tech manufacturing, energy production, and the re-shoring of production.

PRESERVING THE TAX CUTS—AND THEN GOING DEEPER
The power of Trump tax cuts is probably underestimated by a lot of economic analysts—although perhaps not by financial markets. Kamala Harris, like Joe Biden before her, had promised to turn back Trump’s 2017 taxes on businesses, raising the top corporate rate to 28 percent. Combined with state taxes, the average corporate tax rate would have risen to 32.2 percent, according to the Tax Foundation. In several states, including California, it would have exceeded 34 percent.

The risk of higher tax rates was likely already holding back investment by companies, lowering employment and slowing innovation. When businesses calculate the after-tax returns on investments—which is ultimately what matters to their shareholders—they do not just use that current statutory rate but the rates they expect to face in the future. So, when many businesses expected a Harris win—and surveys showed that chief financial officers were more likely to expect a Harris presidency—they pulled back on investment.

So, just by securing the current 21 percent corporate tax rate, Trump’s victory makes room for greater investment and higher after-tax corporate profits. This is one of the reasons the stock market has reached new highs in the days following Trump’s election.

But Trump is offering more than just preserving the status quo. He has promised even lower corporate tax rates, particularly for firms that manufacture goods in the United States. Those tax cuts would further boost investment not just by companies already manufacturing goods here but also for companies that currently manufacture elsewhere that they then sell into U.S. markets. The 15 percent rate floated by Trump would provide a powerful incentive not just for U.S. companies to reshore their manufacturing but for foreign companies to build factories in the U.S. and hire American workers.

The tax cuts Trump has proposed for workers, including elimination of taxes on overtime pay and tips, as well as the end of taxation of Social Security benefits would give many Americans more money to spend and invest. This could help bolster consumer spending in a period where many economists fear weakening now that the last of the pandemic-era savings appear to have dwindled or been exhausted.

REGULATIONS AND TARIFFS
It’s hard to quantify the extent of the economic benefits of deregulation, but they are likely to be quite large. Even before actual deregulation occurs, lifting the risk of ever-escalating regulation under the Harris administration is likely to energize growth. Snipping the regulatory ropes that have shackled business, including costly mandates around climate change and DEI, will make it easier and more rewarding to start new businesses and expand existing ones.

Tariffs build on each of these. While additional costs for imports may offset some of the benefits from preserving tax cuts, those costs will be far lower than the tax hikes Harris was pushing. If tariffs were to become a drag on the economy—which is unlikely—the revenue they produce could fuel even further tax cuts. What’s more, by encouraging domestic production, tariffs will broaden the U.S. tax base, accelerate growth, increase employment prospects, and have multiplier effects throughout the economy for businesses that provide goods and services to the new U.S. factories.

The fourth leg of the edifice for the new Trump economy is likely to come from an unexpected place: bank capital requirements. While it is well-known that Republicans plan not only on stopping the Elizabeth Warrens and Michael Barrs of this world from squeezing bank lending even further, some Republicans with ties to the Trump administration have a more ambitious agenda.

BANKING ON THE NEW TRUMP ECONOMY
Capital requirements—the amount of equity funding banks must use when making loans—could be adjusted to encourage economically beneficial lending. Loans for oil and gas exploration or pipeline construction would carry low capital charges, for example. Loans to companies expanding high tech manufacturing in the U.S. could be encouraged through lower risk weighs.

Unlike direct subsidies, which often lead to waste because companies are spending taxpayer funds rather than their own, companies would still be on the hook for these loans, and banks would still be taking risks in hopes of profit. Free market principles would still direct investment, but with less drag from regulation for activities deemed central to our economic might and national security.

Many of these pro-growth reforms can begin even without Congressional action. Only the additional tax cuts would require new laws to take effect. But each of them could be strengthened if Congress later enshrined the changes into law, guaranteeing that the next administration could not undo them with the stroke of a pen.

Flames shoot from Boeing jet engine before take-off, forcing passengers to jump from emergency exits
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] This is the moment terrified passengers were forced to leap out of a plane's emergency exit after flames began to shoot out from the Boeing jet's engine moments before takeoff.

The Boeing 737-500 aircraft, bound for the town of Wamena, caught fire at Sentani Airport in Jayapura, Papua Province, Indonesia on Tuesday, forcing its 121 passengers to evacuate.

Horrifying footage shows how smoke billowed out from the aircraft's engine, while another clip captured the moment petrified passengers had to stand on the wing of the plane as they awaited their turn to get off.

#6  #4 its been in action for many years now. It's men going their own way (mgtow - meg'tow) movement. 40% of men 18-38 don't even contemplate dating. Based upon various dating sites - women's preference are for the top 10% of males with criteria for income, height, shape, anatomical measurement, et al. When you add up all the prerequisites, turns out only about 0.082 of the male population qualify. It's not an organized movement as much as a cultural choice. Men have finally chosen to pursue peace in the lives. There are now legions of women in their late 30s to 40 and single moms who are discovering, many of the men no longer care to play the game. It's Lysistrata in reverse.

Trump's potential AG pick threatens to put prosecutor Letitia James' in prison unless she makes drastic move as he declares the end of Democrat lawfare: 'We're not messing around this time'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A candidate to head Donald Trump's Justice Department threatened New York Attorney General Letitia James that he would put her 'fat a-- in prison' if she continues her prosecution of the president-elect.

Mike Davis - a controversial right-wing lawyer and commentator - told journalist Benny Johnson he was ready to go to war for Trump against enemies like James who may use 'lawfare' against him.

James signaled on Wednesday she is not going to back down on her probes and lawsuits against Donald Trump as she vowed to fight against any potential 'revenge or retribution' from the former president.

'Listen here, sweetheart, we're not messing around this time and we will put your fat a-- in prison for conspiracy against rights. I promise you that,' he said.

Davis is reportedly in the running to serve as Trump's Attorney General or White House Counsel.

#1  RED HERRING

The government has brought this up because parents love the idea and it is controversial

So it takes all the air time

What they are REALLY doing, under cover of the US election and this red herring, is pushing through the CENSORSHIP BILL

The Democrat-aligned “blob” (deep state, state dept, cia, nsa, fbi, censorship industrial complex) has been going round the world getting europe and the anglosphere to set up bureaucracies to CENSOR the socials

This means you cannot critise health policy, bureaucracies or corporations on Substack, Tik Tok, Twitter, YouTube, FaceBook or anywhere there is one-to-many broadcasting like whatsapp

This will CENSOR DISSENT and while it was aimed at trump and trump won, it hasnt stopped over here in australia

They are ramming it through faster than ever

What the goal is, is to CENSOR the USA bypassing your 1a protection

Because when the big social firms have to comply with censorship legislation in Au, UK, Canada, NZ, EU, it is easier to just apply a blanket policy patrolled by AI across the entire platform including in the USA

So YOU get censored by default

And bye the way, this back engineers censorship of fox, msnbc, cbs, cnn, abc etc

Know why? JOUrNALISTS metric of success is how much a story is shared and how many clicks it gets. They won’t write what won’t get shared on socials or their career falls

Republican Jeff Hurd wins Colorado US House seat in Lauren Boebert's old district
[ABCNEWS.G] Republican Jeff Hurd has won the U.S. House seat in Colorado that Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert nearly lost in 2022 then left for another race, a risky but ultimately successful bet she took in the hopes of keeping the seat in GOP hands and staying in Congress herself.

Hurd, more mild-mannered than Boebert and hewing to an older GOP tradition, beat Adam Frisch, the Democrat who nearly unseated Boebert two years ago in the 3rd Congressional District, which covers the state's Rocky Mountains. Boebert, meanwhile, won a seat in the 4th Congressional District.

Hurd was leading by about 12,000 votes in unofficial results as of Thursday — a much larger margin than the 546 votes Boebert won by in 2022.

When in Rome, you see. Western culture demands allowing people to see your face for purposes of identification and communication. The burka is the most concealing of all Islamic veils. It is a one-piece veil that covers the face and body, often leaving just a mesh screen to see through.

The chador, worn by many Iranian women when outside the house, is a full-body cloak. It is often accompanied by a smaller headscarf underneath.

The burka is generally made of medium blue polyester and worn by Afghan women. The chador leaves the entire face uncovered and is pinned under the chin.

Putin's nuclear show of strength to Trump: Kremlin leader wastes no time rolling out terrifying ICBM missiles for war games hours after The Don's re-election
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Vladimir Putin has staged a show of nuclear strength amid Donald Trump's re-election as he rolled out a terrifying Yars intercontinental ballistic missile.

Footage released by the Russian defence ministry shows a 19,000 mph missile being transported on a special loading unit in the Kaluga region.

Yars missiles have a range of up to 7,500 miles, enabling strikes on the US as well as Europe.

They are currently the main element of the ground-based component of the Russian strategic nuclear force.

The latest drills follow Trump's re-election amid deep strains in relations between Russia and the NATO countries over Putin's continuing war against Ukraine.

While there was an assumption that Moscow preferred Trump to his opponent Kamala Harris, Putin has not officially congratulated the US president-elect.

On Wednesday, Putin's spokesman said of the US:

'Let us not forget that we are talking about an unfriendly country that is both directly and indirectly involved in a war against our nation.'

It also comes a week after Putin staged a mock nuclear war when he launched scores of missiles capable of unleashing a 'massive' strike in a stark warning to the West.

The major new exercises spanned Russia, with Yars missile launches from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the northwest to the Kura test range in Kamchatka in the far east.

Defence Minister Andrei Belousov warned the West that the exercise was to show how Russia could deliver 'a massive nuclear strike by strategic offensive forces in response to a nuclear strike by the enemy'.

The Kremlin also announced last month that Russia's nuclear doctrine, last updated in 2020, had been amended according to changes proposed by Putin that were in the process of being formalised.

Putin said the changes could see Moscow authorise a nuclear strike if Russia was hit by conventional weapons by a nuclear power, in a concerning lowering of the so-called 'nuclear threshold'.

The changes also enable Moscow to respond with a nuclear strike if a non-nuclear state launches an attack on Russia while being supported by a nuclear power.

NASA space probe sends stunningly clear photos of Jupiter to Earth
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

[Regnum] The NASA space probe Juno transmitted impressively clear photographs of Jupiter to Earth. This was reported on November 6 by Newsweek.

The Juno probe has completed its 66th flyby of Jupiter and its moons, taking photos of the gas giant with its dual-pixel JunoCam camera. The stunningly clear photos reveal the chaotic, colorful spots on Jupiter's surface. To date, these images are the highest quality ever taken of the largest planet in the solar system.

In addition, the probe approached Jupiter's fifth largest satellite, the planet Almatea, which is distinguished by its elongated, irregular shape.

NASA's Juno spacecraft was launched in 2011 and entered Jupiter's orbit five years later in 2016. In addition to a camera, the spacecraft is equipped with a magnetometer, microwave radiometer, and other instruments to help conduct scientific work. During its time in Jupiter's orbit, the spacecraft transmitted thousands of invaluable images of the planet's atmosphere and its moons to Earth.

It is noted that the Juno mission does not have a team of scientists who would process the images. This important work is done by enthusiasts, who also post the photos on a special website.

Juno's mission will end on September 15, 2025. During its 76th close approach to Jupiter, NASA says the probe will be pulled in by its gravity and "plunge forever into the gas giant's chaotic atmosphere." This will avoid a collision with Jupiter's moons, which scientists believe could potentially support life.

Earlier, Regnum News Agency reported that the Soyuz-2.1b rocket with the Ionosfera-M No. 1 and No. 2 spacecraft and 53 Russian and foreign satellites was launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome on November 5. The spacecraft and satellites were successfully launched into near-earth orbit.

In June, American billionaire and head of SpaceX Elon Musk suggested that humanity would find many interesting things on Jupiter's moons. Musk's attention was drawn to a publication on the popular science public Black Hole dedicated to the planet Callisto, the second largest moon of Jupiter, and the businessman commented on the article.

Scott Jennings Has a Reminder for Angry Dems Promising to ''Tie Up'' Trump and His Admin
[TOWNHALL] While his fellow CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for...
panelists were freaking out over the 2024 win for President-Elect Donald Trump
...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down...
, Scott Jennings continued to offer some key reminders worth keeping in mind not just for Trump and the Republican Party, but for the good of the country.

Just as he had given advice in the early morning hours of Wednesday, when the race had just been called for Trump, Jennings had more to offer later that day on the network. As he had discussed earlier in the day, and as CNN's Ana Navarro had also pointed out moments before, Trump indeed has a mandate now. He referenced how back in June, there was an article from The New York Times

...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

about "resistance to new Trump administration already forming." It's not just these groups out there, as such pieces promote, but also Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
in office, namely Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island.

"My political advice to all these people is please pick up the election results today and see what happened. The American people want this president and his administration and his party to make progress on the things they promised to do," Jennings offered, reminding how this happened after Trump won in 2016 as well. "This is exactly what happened last time. They were plotting to impeach him before he ever took office back in 2016. Let us not have a replay of this," Jennings reminded. "Can we just have a couple of years of peace for the Republicans and President Trump to do what they promised to do because the American people clearly are asking for it?"

Navarro, who also emits her anti-Trump rants while on "The View," predictably responded with a "but Trump" kind of narrative, as did others, including even host Erin Burnett. Ashley Allison even promoted Democratic politicians blocking Trump's agenda.

"If you're a Democrat right now, and your constituency has sent you back in this election, you have a responsibility to them also. And it is not to allow Donald Trump to get away with everything he wants to get away with. That is our democracy. People are allowed to take positions. That is the difference between a dictatorship and a democracy. That's what we've been fighting," she offered, continuing the narrative of the failed Harris-Walz campaign when it comes to warnings about Trump.

"I agree that they have constituents, but there is a difference in responding to your constituents and working overtime to try to prevent the duly elected government from doing anything," Jennings offered, before Allison cut him off to accuse his arguments of being "so duplicitous."

That didn't stop Jennings from offering his advice to Democrats, though. "Okay, my advice is if you all go down this road and try to stop this government, which just won a mandate from doing anything, you will again pay the price and election after election. The American people are asking for progress. Do not tie this man up. Give this person a chance to lead," he said, almost as a warning.

It Wasn't Just Kamala - a Look at Who and What Else Lost in Tuesday's Election
[REDSTATE] Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
and affiliated entities are in a state of dismay, and we now take a look at those who also will be suffering a loss with the defeat of Kamala Harris
who got her start in politix between former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's' knees
, and the Democrats on a wider scale. There are plenty of wounds that will be licked for a time now.

Probably the biggest faction to lose is the obvious one — the national media. There is no debating how they were fully behind Kamala Harris. The press industry bet hard on Harris as they pushed their chips all in while holding a pair of threes, and the voting public called their bluff. Currently the news outlets and the journalists are grieving, and it is amusing to watch the wailing.

But they were the obvious losers. Following the vote Tuesday there are a number of others as well as entities that suffered severe setbacks on Tuesday night.

TIM WALZ

The Minnesota governor was a barely regarded figure going into the summer, but the withering of Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body....
and having Kamala Harris spot-welded onto the ticket brought Walz to national attention — and it did not benefit him in the end. His past controversies were dredged up, the reliance on him to draw in male voters had alpha males laughing as he failed repeatedly -- at drawing football plays, at hunting, and even playing video games. He tried to slam Trump and JD Vance as ''weird,'' all while behaving as a kickline goofball on stage and devolving into a punchline. His political future is now as dim as a warning light on a toaster.

HOLLYWOOD

Like most elections, the celebrity set was trotted out to back the Democrats, but in this election, those endorsements felt quite devalued. Hollywood is liberal by default, so seeing these luminaries touting Harris did not move the needle as most people reacted with a ''Well yeah, of course'' kind of reaction. Nobody thought Beyonce would have ever backed Trump. Bruce Springsteen's endorsement was met with yawns. When the actors from ''The Avengers'' backed Harris in a Zoom call, many said the Biden-Harris administration was Thanos. The press went kaboom! over Taylor Swift promoting Harris but failed to recognize a bulk of her fan base is too young to even vote. The best is the late-night gabbers using their shows now not to entertain audiences but to serve as their therapy sessions.

DEI

This topic was brought up soon after Kamala was anointed, and her campaign suffered as a result. The Democrats and the press tried to imply it was racist to suggest Kamala was a DEI candidate, but what it ended up doing was having people regard her as just that. The announcement by Biden that he would choose a POC female for a running mate basically defines the term. A sign of how this concept was being denigrated during this election played out as a number of companies came out with announcements that they were dropping DEI programs.

DEMOCRATIC INFLUENCERS

If you spent any time on political threads on social media there is a chance you have come across any of a number of online voices who pumped out perpetual pro-party agit-prop. These names have long been exposed as pocketing cash from the DNC (If you're white you ain't right!)
...Democrat National Committee, where all those off-the-wall talking points originate...
, despite their denials. Now that the election has concluded and their influence was shown to be non-existent, we expect the likes of Harry Sisson, Brooklyn Dad, Jo From Jersey, and many other unconnected dupes to see those paychecks stop flowing and then fade from our timelines.

DEMOCRATIC MASCULINITY

The male vote was proven to be the big challenge for the Harris campaign, and this was augmented by the attempts to curry favor with males this fall. The party that has spent so much energy slandering toxic males suddenly faced the need to draw those they had demonized, and they were clueless. Tim Walz
...Kamala's smarmy-looking running mate, governor of Minnesota, who decided to retired rather than to deploy with his National Guard unit, then claimed to have been in Iraq and Afghanistan. One man's socialism is another man's neighborliness....
was sold as a hunter, yet he could not handle his gun. Doug Emhoff was sold as a sex symbol when in reality men would move to sit across the bar away from him. They delivered a farcical false ad of ''men'' (actors) supporting Kamala. And of course there was the laughable group "White Dudes for Harris" that managed to only gather those already under the Democrat gazebo.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
San Jose Councilman Omar Torres arrested for sex crimes with a minor
[LAWENFORCEMENTTODAY] On Tuesday, November 5th, San Jose Councilmember Omar Torres was arrested on suspicion of child molestation charges. As of this writing, Torres is being held in the Santa Clara County Main Jail without bail.

According to FOX2, the San Jose Police Department (SJPD) confirmed that Torres' arrest was related to "an ongoing investigation of crimes related to lewd acts with a child." More information about the alleged charges is forthcoming. Torres' attorney presents a different story, saying that his client had his office submit a resignation letter earlier and that coincidentally, the arrest happened a few hours later.

Calls for Torres' resignation have grown in recent weeks after it was revealed that he was under investigation by SJPD for child sex crimes. The councilmember initially said that those accusations were false.

Residents have launched a petition to recall Torres, with many in the community saying enough is enough and that he is no longer fit to serve. That recall process, however, could take months and requires signatures.

Torres' attorney previously said that private communication between his client and another man was "simply sexual fantasy and role play" and that Torres "was a victim of extortion." Councilmember Bien Doan, Torres' colleague, said that the police investigation into Torres was extensive and that the resignation did in fact follow Torres' arrest.

He said, "This action marks a crucial step toward accountability and I am pleased he has finally stepped down in the best interest of the people of District 3. This is a pivotal moment for our city. We must work together to restore trust in our city council and ensure that the actions of one individual do not overshadow the collective responsibility we have to our communities. The people of our city deserve leaders who are committed to transparency, integrity, and service."

Russians are concentrated in three directions - Ukrainian General Staff
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] The occupiers are making their main efforts in the Kurakhovsky direction, where they carried out almost half of all attacks on the territory of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the current day, the number of enemy attacks has reached 102. Russian invaders are actively operating in the Kurakhovsky, Pokrovsky and Limansky directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 16:00 on Thursday, November 7.

Thus, in the Kharkov direction, the occupiers attacked twice in the area of Volchansk. One battle continues.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy advanced three times near Kruglyakovka and Lozovaya. Fighting continues in two locations.

In the Liman direction, the Russians stormed the areas of Druzhelyubovka, Grekovka, Makeyevka, Yekaterinovka, Terny, Torskoye, Serebryanka, Belogorovka and Grigoryevka. They have already repelled nine attacks, four clashes are ongoing.

In the Seversky direction, a battle is underway in the Pereyezdny area.

In the Kramatorsk direction, four assault actions are ongoing near Stupochki and Belaya Gora. Two attacks by the occupiers have already been repelled.

In the Toretsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled two attacks in the Toretsk area. Another battle is underway.

In the Pokrovsky direction, the occupiers carried out 15 assaults in the areas of Mirolyubovka, Luch, Lisovka, Krutoy Yar and Selidovoye. The defense forces repelled 13 attacks. Others are ongoing.

In the Kurakhovsky direction, the invaders have already attacked our units 40 times. The Russians are trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Ilyinka, Novoselidovka, Kremennaya Balka, Novodmitrovka, Solntsovka, Maksimilianovka, Antonovka, Dalneye and Yekaterinovka. Currently, 29 combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Vremevsky direction, Russian criminals carried out four attacks on Ukrainian military positions near Trudovoye, Razliv and Suhie Yal. Two clashes are ongoing.

In the Dnieper direction the enemy carried out two unsuccessful assaults.

Let us recall that in one day on November 7, the Ukrainian Armed Forces "minus" 1,400 Russian invaders. The total losses of the aggressor country Russia have already exceeded 700,000 people killed and wounded.

Did God Rapture Some 15 Million Democrat Voters? If Not, Where'd They Go?
[PJMedia] Before the election I wondered if this would happen. After universal mail-out ballots had been curbed in some places for the 2024 election, and despite same-day registration and voting and even outlawing voter ID in California, would America have the same numbers of voters as 2020? Would they show back up?

At this point, it looks as if there could be a significant reduction in Democrat voters from 2020 to 2024. Votes are still being tabulated, however. Some of these votes may reappear.

Questions abound. Take a look at one of the graphs put out on X by ZeroHedge:

It's a serious concern. Explanations poured in all day Wednesday after the election.

Did those voters go over to Trump? Was there a lack of voter excitement for Kamala?

There are a lot of questions for the bean-counting data diggers to churn through. That will take awhile, however. So, for the moment, we're stuck with speculation.

This is a particular favorite from Carpe Donktum, from whom I stole the idea for that headline.

Don't leave yet because these numbers are dynamic and this X user put forward what he considered to be a reasonable answer for the disparity.

Trump's Victory Could Spell Doom For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Amidst Their Visa Struggle
[TheMix] Donald Trump has officially won the 2024 presidential election over Kamala Harris. This could have major implications for British royals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are in the midst of a precarious visa battle.

HARRY’S VISA BATTLE
Ever since he moved to Southern California back in 2020, Harry has been trying to become a U.S. citizen. Harry’s visa application has since come under scrutiny after the royal admitted in his memoir Spare to using cocaine, smoking marijuana, and experimenting with magic mushrooms as a teenager.

Back in February, Trump spoke out to say that President Joe Biden had been “too gracious” to Harry since his move to California.

Now that Trump is going to be president again, however, Harry’s dreams of U.S. citizenship may be dead in the water.

“I wouldn’t protect him,” Trump has said of Harry. “He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me.”

Before the election, Trump’s son Eric spoke out to say that Harry’s U.S. visa is only safe because “no one cares” about him. He added that his father “loved” Queen Elizabeth and was deeply disturbed by the stress that Harry and Meghan caused her in her final years.

“Truthfully I don’t give a damn about Prince Harry and I don’t think this country does either,” Eric said, going on to suggest that Harry had “gone off the deep end and it’s sad to watch.”

Eric Trump said that Americans, himself included, don’t give a damn what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle think.

TRUMP’S HISTORY WITH HARRY AND MEGHAN
There’s no love lost between Trump and the royal Sussexes. Indeed, before marrying Harry, Meghan was a Hollywood actress who was outspoken about her anti-Trump views.

“Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think about female voters alone, right?” Meghan said in a 2016 interview with talk show host Larry Wilmore. “I think it was in 2012 the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points; that is a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is, and so vocal about it, that is a huge chunk of it.”

“You’re not just voting for a woman if it’s Hillary because she’s a woman, but certainly because Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world that he’s painting,” she added
*shrug* The Sussexes did just buy a house in Portugal on the ocean near his cousin, so that the royal-ish children could play together. (I’ve lost track of whose children are still princes and princesses, and which merely lord/lady or Honourables, not that it really matters) But that means if Duke Harry can’t stay in America, he and the fam have a place to go.

Arizonans Elect A Conservative As Maricopa's New Elections Chief
[THEFEDERALIST] Voters in Arizona's largest county are on track to elect a staunch conservative to replace the locality's leftist-friendly elections chief.

On Wednesday, Democrat Tim Stringham announced that he had called Republican Justin Heap to effectively concede defeat in the race to become Maricopa County's next recorder. Heap, a member of the Arizona Freedom Caucus, confirmed his opponent called to concede in a tweet published the same day.

''It is undeniably true that past elections, under both parties and spanning more than a decade, have denigrated our county's reputation and made us the laughing stock of the nation. That ends today,'' Heap wrote on X.

While Arizona officials continue to count votes as of this article's publication, preliminary results show Heap currently leading Stringham by 4.2 points, according to The New York Times

...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

The apparent victory is welcome news for Arizona voters concerned about the integrity of Maricopa County elections. Since 2021, the recorder position has been occupied by Stephen Richer, a self-styled ''Republican'' who is hostile to election integrity activists throughout the state.

Heap previously defeated Richer during Arizona's July primaries, in which the latter reportedly received financial backing from Democrat megadonor Reid Hoffman. The race came months after legacy media launched a seemingly coordinated campaign to baselessly smear Heap as an ''election denier'' and boost Richer's reelection prospects.

Speaking with the New York Times

...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

, New York Rep. Tom Suozzi (D) said Democrat calls to push the party left will alienate the voters they desperately need to stay relevant.

''The Democrats have to stop pandering to the far left,'' he said. ''I don't want to discriminate against anybody, but I don't think biological boys should be playing in girls' sports. Democrats aren't saying that, and they should be.''

The message is markedly different from what Democrats were saying in lead up to the election, with Times columnist Masha Gessen arguing Kamala Harris
Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's' former mistress
needed to embrace transgender ideology.

''In my imagination, there can be a [Democratic] politician who says [to Americans], 'Look, [transgenderism] is not a big deal. You can still love your child. We can live in a world that's organized not like the world of our parents. That's what politicianship and invention and futurism are about, and it's going to be OK because we're all going to figure it out together,'' wrote Gessen.

Joe Scarborough of MSNBC's Morning Joe also admitted on his program that men should not be playing in women's sports.

''Democrats should be smarter on the women's athletics thing. 85% of Americans oppose men transitioning after puberty competing against women,'' he said on the show.

After Trump's Victory, There Can Be No Unity Without A Reckoning
[THEFEDERALIST] Legacy media outlets, the polling industry, the Democrat-funded nonprofits and the academics and activists who run them have all now been exposed as cogs in a giant propaganda machine. Kamala Harris

ran a massive psy-op on the American people to make them believe something that wasn't true. And it failed. We should never forget that these people will say anything for the sake of power, so we should never trust them again.

For the government officials and institutions who tried to bankrupt and jail Trump, there should be more severe and formal consequences. On Wednesday it was reported that the Justice Department will be dismissing Special Counsel Jack Smith and dropping his cases against Trump before Trump takes office. That's great, but Smith should not be allowed to simply walk away. He and everyone else at Biden's DOJ who was involved in these lawfare cases against Trump needs to be investigated and held accountable for their actions.

And of course the problem goes far beyond Smith. What the Justice Department and the FBI did to Trump was one of the most egregious abuses of power in American history, and we shouldn't just shrug our shoulders at it because Trump won. These agencies need to be dismantled entirely and re-built from scratch. The FBI in particular has shown itself to be an enemy of the American people and a danger to the republic. Its director, Christopher Wray, should not simply be allowed to resign. He should be removed and placed under criminal investigation.

Same goes for New York Attorney General Leticia James, whose lawfare against Trump is an ongoing scandal. James said on Wednesday that her office is preparing to ''fight back'' against the incoming Trump administration. She should be disbarred, at a minimum for trying to bankrupt Trump with a bogus fraud case in which there were no fraud victims.

Then there's Liz Cheney, who in her role as vice chair of the Jan. 6 Committee has been accused of inducing witness perjury, destroying documents, and suppressing exonerating evidence. Cheney posted what seemed like a message of conciliation on X Tuesday night, saying we must accept the results of the election. But she shouldn't get off so easily either. Her role in the Jan. 6 Committee should be fully investigated and she should face criminal charges if warranted.

The truth is, if Trump hadn't won he'd be going to prison. For supporting Trump, Elon Musk would have been targeted by the government, bankrupted, and subjected to years of lawfare. The people who howled loudest about Trump weaponizing the government against his political opponents have spent years doing just that to Trump and his associates.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Outlines of the Trump-Vance Peace Plan
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin:

[ColonelCassad] The American media have begun to throw out general outlines of proposals for ending the war in Ukraine, which come from Trump's entourage.

1. Stopping the war on the current front line with the creation of some kind of dividing demilitarized zone.

2. De facto recognition of the transfer of the currently controlled territories of the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions (excluding Kherson, Zaporizhia and western Donbass) under the control of the Russian Federation without legally recognizing their belonging to Russia.

3. Postponing Ukraine's accession to NATO for 20 years.

4. Continuing to arm Ukraine after the cessation of hostilities.

In the current reality, these conditions actually mean that the Russian Federation will not achieve the goals of the NMD.

1. Current conditions - DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions in their full borders, that is, the entire Donbass, the entire north of Zaporizhia and the city of Zaporizhia, the right-bank part of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson. This is what was announced in June. Now the conditions, due to the situation at the front, will be even worse.

2. The proposed conditions do not solve the problem of Ukraine being drawn into NATO and the threat being formed for Russia on the territory of Ukraine. Instead of stopping Ukraine's involvement in NATO, there will only be a formal delay, and instead of demilitarization, there will be arming of Ukraine.

3. These conditions also do not solve the problem of protecting the rights of the Russian and Russian-speaking population in Ukraine, denazification and its general neutralization.

4. These conditions also do not solve the problem of legitimizing new regions of the country, issues of sanctions, etc.

In general, these conditions are beneficial to the United States and Ukraine, which will allow them to gain time, get a respite for rearmament and resuming the war at any convenient moment, with even more active involvement of NATO in it.

As the Kremlin has repeatedly noted, negotiations with the United States on Ukraine are possible, but only if systemic issues of indivisible international security are resolved. The announced conditions give Russia little and do not allow achieving key goals. Therefore, in this form, the proposals will most likely be rejected.

Russia ready for peace talks on Ukraine based on reality, Putin says

Russia is ready for peace talks on Ukraine based on realities and the agreements already reached in Istanbul, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on November 7 at the plenary session of the annual XXI meeting of the Valdai Forum.

The Russian leader stressed that negotiations on Ukraine should not lead to a “half-hour or half-year truce.”

“We are ready for peace talks, but not on the basis of some wishes, the names of which change from month to month, but on the basis of the realities that are taking shape, and on the basis that were achieved in Istanbul,” Putin said.

At the same time, Putin noted that the Russian and Ukrainian peoples remain fraternal, despite the tragic events.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on October 25, President Putin stated that there would be no "exchanges" in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. The head of state recalled that Moscow, unlike Kiev, has never rejected the possibility of negotiations, but agreements should not be to the detriment of Russian interests.

The Russian leader noted in early September that Russia was ready for negotiations with Ukraine, but only on the basis of previously recorded agreements. Putin specified that such agreements had been reached in Istanbul.

In June, the Russian president, at a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, named the conditions for peace talks with Ukraine. Among them were the withdrawal of Ukrainian formations from Russian regions - the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, and Kiev's refusal to join NATO. Kiev rejected the Russian peace plan.

#2  Ukraine is Russia's buffer zone. It always has been. Russia has always relied on vast distances between them and their enemies to the West. That's why expansion of NATO into Ukraine is unacceptable to them. NATO leaders will claim that their intentions are peaceful but after the travesty of the Minsk accords and then the Maidan coup, how can Russians trust them?

The Return of the King: How Trump Triumphed and What to Expect from Him Now
Direct Translation via Googler Translate. Edited.
by Malek Dudakov

[REGNUM] The recent presidential elections in the United States ended in a real triumph for Donald Trump and the Republicans. The extent of his victory surprised even many of Trump's fellow party members, who had hoped for success but were confident that the gap with Kamala Harris would be minimal. How did they manage to achieve such a result and what will it mean for America and the world?

Trump's campaign team had been radiating confident optimism for the last three or four weeks before the election. The teammates had even begun to divide up the posts in the future administration in advance. It seemed a bit reckless, but such optimism was based on closed polls conducted by the Republicans, which pointed to Trump's victory in all seven key states.

As a result, the closed sociology of the Republicans turned out to be much closer to reality than public polls or electoral models of the Democrats. American sociologists once again underestimated the level of support for Trump, as was already the case in 2016 and 2020. True, in this election they at least did not write him off. But the consensus was that Trump would take only some of the states and the distribution of electors would be approximately equal.

In the end, Trump won quite easily with 312 electors, both in the southern US – in Arizona, Nevada – and on the east coast – in Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. He also managed to win in the Midwest – in Michigan and Wisconsin. It was a real “red wave” that literally washed away the Democrats. The Republicans showed a sharp increase in their level of support in almost all of America.

Former swing states like Florida and Ohio gave Trump a whopping 12-13 point lead. Even in traditionally Democratic states like California and New York, he won 40-45 percent, far more than he had four or eight years ago. That wave of support has been a huge help to Republicans in elections below the presidential level.

In the Senate, the Republicans take 52-53 seats, or even more. In the lower chamber, they also have a good chance of maintaining a shaky majority and keeping Mike Johnson as speaker. Trump desperately needs to have both houses of Congress under Republican control, otherwise he will not be able to carry out the promised reforms.

The exit polls that are trickling out show that Trump has dramatically increased his support among ethnic minorities, especially Hispanics and Asians. Almost half of Hispanics voted for him, an unprecedented figure. And he won about half of the votes of the “zoomers” generation, born after 1998.

Democrats' hopes that a young and ethnically diverse electorate would keep them in power forever have been dashed. The reality is far more complex.

For example, the same Hispanics are terribly unhappy with the importation of a huge number of illegal immigrants, who are taking away their jobs. The Democrats, however, have only imposed on them their “racial-gender” agenda, which is of little interest to anyone outside of university campuses and the editorial offices of liberal media.

The Democratic Party is still recovering from this real defeat, and an internal war and search for the guilty are already breaking out in its ranks. The left wing is rebelling and demanding an even more “progressive” ideology in the next elections. The establishment accuses the left of causing an internal split with their pro-Palestinian rallies.

The Muslim street did indeed have a significant impact on the elections.

For example, in Muslim-majority cities in Michigan like Dearborn, which is called the Islamist capital of the United States, Trump won. The Muslim diaspora supported Trump and independent anti-war candidates like Jill Stein. Now they will demand that Trump quickly de-escalate in the Middle East.

The Democrats will have to do a long and painful job of correcting their mistakes.

Their shaky minority electoral coalition simply fell apart. We should expect attempts to move away from playing the race-gender card in the presidential elections and to tone down the heat of the culture wars in the US with the same transgender people. It is quite possible that in the next elections in 2028, the Democratic Party will nominate a white man like California Governor Gavin Newsom, since the black woman Harris, taken under the quota, failed everything.

The "mail magic" that took off in the last elections did not help Kamala either. After all, many states tightened control over voting, and portable ballot boxes, into which ballots were thrown en masse, were no longer everywhere. And the Republicans acted wisely, placing their bets on early and mail voting.

They managed to gain such momentum that by election day it was already difficult to beat it with ballot stuffing and fraud, although there were probably also many cases of illegal or deceased voting. It’s just that Trump’s lead in key states, unlike in 2020, was so significant that falsifications could no longer influence the final outcome of the election.

Trump received a complete carte blanche from voters – the majority of voters voted for him nationwide. The Republicans managed to achieve this for the first time in twenty years – since the re-election of George W. Bush in 2004. Americans placed their hopes on Trump to pull the country out of the current systemic crisis with division, and to stabilize the international situation so as not to slide into a third world war.

Trump is inheriting a very heavy legacy of “Bidenism,” and if the situation cannot be quickly rectified, his ratings will quickly collapse.

The president-elect intends to lower taxes first and foremost and launch another round of trade wars with tariffs on imports from the European Union and China. A program to deport illegal immigrants and strengthen the southern border of the United States is expected.

At the same time, the Democrats retain the ability to block Trump's initiatives in the Senate, where many decisions require 60 votes to pass. They will certainly actively use this.

In foreign policy, the new team will most likely first tackle the Middle East agenda.

They want to summon Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington and demand a roadmap for resolving the conflict in Gaza and Lebanon. This is what the American electorate, tired of Middle East tensions, is waiting for. Trump is widely considered a pro-Israel politician, so he has more room to maneuver to pressure Netanyahu and force him to change his policy.

Trump will likely be helping his Eurosceptic friends in Europe like Viktor Orban, who needs American protection to wage war on Euro-bureaucracy. Relations with Britain will be very tense, especially in light of the way Labour actively interfered in the US elections on Harris’s behalf.

In the Chinese direction, we should expect a further “exchange” of increased tariffs and sanctions, although some billionaire sponsors of Trump hope to eventually somehow enter into serious negotiations on all the contradictions between the US and China.

Well, the question with Ukraine remains open.

The lobbyists of Volodymyr Zelensky's office seem to have burned all bridges in relations with Trump. Now their clumsy attempts to rewind everything back are unlikely to lead to anything. The new US president will first try to impose his vision of resolving the Ukrainian conflict. And if that doesn't work, then he can, according to his favorite habit, wash his hands of the situation and remove himself from the situation, shifting responsibility to Europe.

In any case, Kyiv does not expect anything good - the volume of tranches from the US will steadily decrease. And the focus of Washington's foreign policy will be shifted to those areas that Trump sees as a higher priority - such as competition with China in Asia.

He has now won fair and square by being attacked by Dims and being not as bad as Dims

But he is not the Return of the King. He is not the Fisher King. That figure is RFK

Chad: 117 terrorists killed in retaliation for Boko Haram attack
[SAHEL-INTELLIGENCE] At least 117 bad boyz were potted by the Chadian army in the western part of the country during a military operation launched in response to an attack attributed to the jihadist group Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
, which took place on October 27. Around 40 Chadian soldiers were also reported killed, according to military sources. The incident occurred in the Lake Chad region, a strategic area bordering Cameroon
...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there...
, Niger, and Nigeria, where the Chadian armed forces set up a retaliatory operation.

Under the direct command of President Mahamat Idriss D by Itno, the armed forces intensified their efforts to track down the perpetrators of this attack and to strengthen security in the region, said Colonel Nour Adoum, head of a military unit in the Lake Chad area. He added: This operation is a direct response to the attacks and demonstrates the authorities' commitment to fighting terrorism and protecting the illusory sovereignty of the country .

Military authorities stated that, over the past three days, 117 bad boyz were potted. As part of their response to the jihadist attacks, the Chadian army conducted another operation last Wednesday, during which at least 65 bad boyz were potted, according to military officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Chadian President Mahamat Idriss D by Itno promised to strengthen efforts to eradicate these terrorist groups and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the fight against terrorism.

Lake Chad, a vast body of water shared by Chad, Niger, Cameroon, and Nigeria, is home to numerous islands that serve as hideouts for jihadist groups, including Boko Haram and the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
in West Africa (ISWAP). These groups aim to establish an Islamic State, particularly in Nigeria, which is predominantly Moslem in the north and Christian in the south.

Boko Haram and ISWAP have caused the deaths of over 35,000 people and forced nearly 2.7 million people to flee their homes, primarily in Nigeria but also in neighboring countries such as Chad, Cameroon, and Niger, according to United Nations
...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense...
data. As of June 2024, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) recorded over 220,000 displaced persons in the Lake Chad region due to the attacks by gangs.

'Green wishes' and aid to Ukraine have destroyed the German government
Direct Translation via Google Translation. Edited.
by Gregor Spitzen

[REGNUM] What had been talked about for so long and quietly prepared for in the German Bundestag for months has finally happened: On November 6, Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) announced the expulsion of Finance Minister and leader of the Free Democrats (FDP) Christian Lindner from the government. This means the collapse of the ruling "traffic light" coalition, a vote of confidence in the Chancellor in January and, most likely, early parliamentary elections in March next year.

After three years of work, the federal government, consisting of the SPD, the Greens and the FDP, is ending its work with a bad taste in the mouth from an internal corporate scandal and the airing of dirty "coalition" laundry for all to see.

After the coalition committee failed to agree on a common economic and financial policy on Wednesday evening, Scholz accused his finance minister of "violating his trust too often." According to Scholz, the FDP leader was not concerned with the interests of the country, but only with his own "clientele" of big business. In explaining his decision, Scholz accused Lindner of selfishness and pursuing short-term interests.

You can have different attitudes towards the former finance minister. You can dislike his party, which in its love for the free market and libertarianism sometimes descends to almost social Darwinist positions and openly lobbies for the interests of the military-industrial complex. However, despite the complexity of Lindner's character, he was one of the few real professionals in the "traffic light coalition" who really understand the business they were entrusted with.

The Minister of Finance must economize by definition. And Lindner, fully aware that Germany's fattest years are already behind him, called on his colleagues at the "traffic light", who are used to putting out any fire with banknotes, to moderate their appetites. And not to throw away billions of euros so madly on "green wishes", excessively inflated social programs and aid to Ukraine, which has exceeded all reasonable limits and has crossed the astronomical figure of €40 billion.

Lindner took the chancellor's speech (which had obviously been in the works for a long time, as it was filled with an overview of the government's activities and elements of election rhetoric) as an opportunity to accuse Scholz of "deliberately breaking the coalition." The chancellor, according to the former minister, was no longer interested in compromise and had even stopped accepting proposals from the FDP on economic reform projects.

Instead, Scholz issued an ultimatum to Lindner to soften his stance on increasing the national debt, which would allow the Greens and Social Democrats to continue to enthusiastically finance their political projects at the expense of future generations of Germans.

Lindner, somewhat pompously but quite reasonably, objected that such a demand was in conflict with the oath he had taken to the German people, and refused to continue cooperation under such conditions. "For three years, the FDP had demonstrated political responsibility and a willingness to compromise 'within the limits of what was acceptable,'" he said. But this time the limits had been seriously exceeded.

The Finance Minister did not limit himself to describing the situation, but took a tough stance against Scholz.

The Chancellor, he said, had long ignored and downplayed the dire economic situation in Germany. Now he has decided to put forward proposals that are "not serious and not ambitious" and do nothing to overcome the country's fundamental weakness in economic growth. "Unfortunately, Olaf Scholz has shown that he does not have the strength to breathe new life into the country," Lindner concluded.

In fact, Scholz's main proposal was to increase the government debt threshold, which would include a cap on energy costs, subsidies for the auto industry, and a guarantee of continued support for Ukraine after Trump's victory in the US elections.

By and large, the Chancellor is doing the same thing he did when he was Finance Minister in Angela Merkel’s cabinet – solving political problems with borrowed funds, without really thinking about who will repay these loans and how.

“Helicopter money” in the era of the coronavirus pandemic, energy subsidies and subsidies for the purchase of electric cars, the creation of a special fund for the Bundeswehr financed by government debt - all these are projects of the current chancellor, which have cost Germany hundreds of billions of euros.

In fact, Scholz's idea of creating special funds alongside the regular budget in order to reconcile "green" climate, "social democratic" social and "liberal" financial policies became the cement for the highly contradictory "traffic light coalition".

However, any manipulation of finances and public debts has its limits.

In November 2023, the Federal Constitutional Court ruled the financial ploys to create further shadow budgets unconstitutional, and this marked the beginning of the end of the coalition. The cautious Lindner was no longer willing to take constitutional risks.

If you look at it objectively, the Chancellor's reasoning is, to put it mildly, indeed questionable from a legal point of view.

He believes that the Russian special operation in Ukraine and the election of Donald Trump as US president, which is expected to be followed by a reduction in American aid to Ukraine, constitute an emergency comparable to a natural disaster. And if lava from an erupting volcano is approaching the country, then, according to the Chancellor, there is no time for neatness.

However, Lindner's departure from the government coalition will lead to its collapse and early parliamentary elections, which do not bode well for Scholz. Both the Chancellor's personal popularity and that of his SPD party are far from being enough to claim the post of head of government in the new cabinet.

However, having gotten rid of Lindner, Scholz may try to pass a series of bills requiring an increase in the national debt, thus sacrificing himself to the interests of a certain part of the German elite, and only then sink into political oblivion.

DHQ declares nine more terrorists wanted as new group emerges
[PUNCHNG] The Defence Headquarters has, on Thursday, declared nine more gunnies wanted.

Unlike previous declarations, these individuals were named without the inclusion of a bounty.

The wanted gunnies are Abu Khadijah, Abdurrahman, Dadi Gumba, also known as Abu Muhammed, Usman Kanin Shehu, Abu Yusuf, Musa Wa'a, Ibrahim Suyeka, BA Sulhu, and Idris Taklakse.

The DHQ also confirmed the emergence of a new terrorist group known as 'Lukarawas.' The group is primarily based in the northwestern part of Nigeria.
Good to know — a new entry for the archives.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. Edward Buba revealed this while briefing journalists on the military operations in Abuja.

Buba explained that the new terror group emerged from the Republic of Niger following the coup that led to the breakdown of military cooperation between Nigeria and Niger.

The gunnies began infiltrating northern parts of Sokoto and Kebbi States, primarily from the Niger Republic and Mali, particularly after the coup in Niger.

He said that before the coup, there were joint border operations with Nigerien security forces, which had kept the gunnies at bay.

''This new group that has penetrated the northwestern part of the country, known as the Lukarawas, is affiliated with ISIS in the Sahelian region. It is indeed the first attempt by Sahelian jihadists to establish a foothold in our country.

Nigerian military warns of new militia threat from Niger and Mali

[REUTERS] Nigeria's military has warned of a new krazed killer group, Lakurawas, infiltrating the country's northwest region from neighbouring Niger and Mali, its spokesperson said on Thursday.

Defense spokesperson Major-General Edward Buba said the group, an affiliate of militias operating in the Sahel region
... North Africa's answer to the Pak tribal areas...
, has been active in northwest Sokoto and Kebbi states. The ideology of the group is not known.
So possibly jihadis, possibly non-jihadi bandits or old-fashioned Communist insurrectionists. How exciting.
"They began an incursion into northern parts of Sokoto and Kebbi states from the Niger and Mali axis, particularly after the coup in Niger Republic," Buba said in statement.

The influx of Lakurawas is linked to the July 2023 coup in Niger, which disrupted joint military patrols along the border between Nigeria and Niger.

While patrols have since resumed, the military remains vigilant against further infiltration, Buba said.

Nigeria has been grappling with a long-running insurgency in its northeast, primarily driven by the Islamist gang Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
and its offshoot, Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
West Africa Province (ISWAP).

But the emergence of Lakurawas highlights a growing security threat in the country's northwest, a region already prone to attacks by armed gangs and kidnappings for ransom.

Buba reported that the military had killed 163 krazed killers, arrested 82, and rescued at least 80 kidnapped individuals in the northwest region last month.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: November 7, 2024
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Worth noting, korrespondent.net has compiled its Invasion of Ukraine series into separate months, beginning May 9th, 2023. Linked in the title.

[Korrespondent] 21:54 The number of those wounded as a result of today's Russian strike on Zaporozhye has risen to 40, including four children: 15, five, one year old and a four-month-old baby, said the head of the OVA Ivan Fedorov.

21:46 The United States will support Zelensky if he decides to start peace talks with Moscow, said State Department spokesman Matthew Miller. At the same time, he stressed that Washington does not intend to impose a timeframe for Kiev to enter into peace talks.

21:11 Putin said that he congratulated Trump on his election as US President and is ready for contacts with him.
An important item to check off the list.
20:37 Zelensky said that the bilateral agreement between Ukraine and Hungary was not signed due to the NATO issue: "The document currently does not include Hungary's support for Ukraine in NATO. And since this is not the case, the document was not signed."

19:18 Sacked German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said that Scholz fired him over his proposal to send Taurus missiles to Ukraine. According to him, the chancellor ordered that Ukraine receive 3 billion euros in financial support, but Lindner said that this was impossible due to the difficult financial situation in the country. Instead, the minister suggested that Scholz send Taurus missiles, to which the chancellor responded with a categorical refusal and informed Lindner of his resignation.

17:50 European leaders gathered today for a summit in Budapest called on Trump to avoid trade wars, continue to support Ukraine and refrain from violating the world order. "It is in our interests that the autocrats of this world receive a very clear signal that this is not the rule of force, but the rule of law," said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, in turn, called for Ukraine to be viewed as a problem not only for Europe, and called Russia's partnership with the DPRK "a threat not only to the European part of NATO, but also to the United States."

17:42 The death toll from Russia's strikes on Zaporizhia has risen to four, with 18 people injured, Interior Minister Igor Klimenko reported. There may still be people under the rubble.

17:35 Russians shelled Nikolaevka in Donetsk Oblast - two people were killed and five were wounded, OVA chief Vadim Filashkin reported. One of the shells hit a five-story building, and four neighboring houses were damaged.

17:23 Ukraine has handed over to Turkey lists of seriously ill Crimean political prisoners so that Ankara can help them receive medical care and in further actions to dismiss them, said ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets.

17:04 In Zaporizhia, the number of victims as a result of today's Russian shelling has risen to 17, including three children aged four months, one year and ten years, said the head of the OVA Ivan Fedorov and showed a video of the aftermath of the attack:

16:59 Russia has begun to use a thermobaric warhead on drones like the Shahed-136, which poses a much greater threat when used to destroy buildings, Defense Express writes. The shock wave after the explosion causes the movement of a thermobaric mixture, which interacts with the air and with itself to form a "fire cloud" with a temperature of 2400-2600 °C.

Thermobaric ammunition is most effective in a confined space, since such a "cloud" can cover several rooms, and it is much more difficult to hide from it. This is why Russia uses "shaheeds" with such a warhead to attack cities, primarily Kiev, with the aim of killing civilians. In cases where it is impossible to move to a shelter, experts advise adding another rule to the "two walls" rule - closing the interior door. This will reduce the spread of the thermobaric mixture throughout the entire apartment to some extent.

16:37 Google has removed images of military facilities and systems in Ukraine from its maps, said Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.

16:08 Russians carried out five air strikes with bombs and missiles on Zaporizhia, hits on residential buildings and a hospital were recorded, said the head of the OVA Ivan Fedorov. According to preliminary data, one person was killed, ten were wounded, including a one-year-old child. Two people are in serious condition, including a medical worker.

15:15 Zelensky, in his address during the European Political Community summit in Budapest, called calls for Ukraine to make concessions to Putin unacceptable: "This is unacceptable for Ukraine and suicide for all of Europe." According to him, Kiev "needs a sufficient number of weapons, not hugs with Putin."

14:26 The UK has added another 56 organisations and individuals linked to Russia to its sanctions list, the largest package of sanctions since May 2023. For the first time, restrictions have been placed on Russian mercenaries in Africa. The sanctions list includes, among other things, companies from China, Turkey and Central Asia that cooperate with the Russian military-industrial complex.

13:38 Ukrenergo reported that as a result of the Russian UAV strike on a power facility in the Zhytomyr region, not only the Zhytomyr region, but also the Rivne region were partially de-energized.

13:04 Air defense destroyed 74 of 106 enemy drones (Shahed type and unspecified type) in Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions. Another 25 drones were lost, the Air Force reported.

12:35 Zelensky has already arrived in Hungary, Reuters reports. This is his first visit to Hungary since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. The European Political Community Summit is taking place there today.

12:16 Summons are sent first and foremost to the unemployed and those who do not pay taxes, Shmyhal said. According to him, only 2% of summonses over the past two months were sent to employed people. "Mobilization, the summonses that we send out - as of today, 98% of the summonses sent out, which are formed deliberately through the Oberig registry, are sent to people who do not pay a single hryvnia in taxes and are not registered anywhere as employed. In fact, today the priority of mobilization is given to unemployed people," the prime minister explained.

11:22 Russia is using "shaheddin" to pinpoint energy infrastructure in Ukraine in order to save missiles, which it is stockpiling at strategic aviation airfields, said Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council. According to him, the rate of missile production does not allow the Russians to wage an intensive war with their constant use, and drones are a cheaper tool. "Although the effectiveness of these UAVs is more suitable for terrorizing civilians than for use against intended targets: their effectiveness percentage barely exceeds 10%," Kovalenko added.

11:07 In Zhitomir region, in connection with another enemy attack on the energy information structure, emergency shutdowns have been introduced in Korosten, Zhitomir and Zvyagelsky districts, the regional power company reported.

09:23 Trump's "peace plan" to end the war in Ukraine likely includes a demand to renounce NATO membership for 20 years and freeze the front line without returning territories, The Wall Street Journal writes, citing sources.

09:15 In the Kherson region, over the past day, as a result of Russian shelling, one person was killed and eight were injured, reported the head of the OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin.

08:41 Russians fired KABs at the Yampol community in Sumy Oblast - one person was killed, one was wounded. A gas station, a multi-story building, and two private houses were damaged, OVA reported. The prosecutor's office clarified that as a result of the attack, a gas station employee was killed and a Ukrzaliznytsia employee was wounded.

08:30 At night, the Russian army attacked Kiev with attack drones. According to the head of the Kyiv State Military Aviation Service, Sergey Popko, it was a massive attack: the drones approached the capital both individually and in groups, from different directions, at different altitudes - both very low and significant. The air defense forces neutralized more than 30 Russian UAVs. Falling debris was recorded in six districts of the city. Residential and non-residential buildings were damaged, fires broke out, which were quickly extinguished. In particular, a fire broke out on the upper floors of a multi-story residential building in the Pechersk district. Two people were injured.

08:23 At night, Russians attacked Odessa with attack drones - debris damaged multi-story buildings, one person was injured, reported the head of the OVA Oleg Kiper.

08:07 In Donetsk region on November 6, as a result of Russian shelling, one person was wounded - in Sukhi Yalah, reported the head of the OVA Vadim Filashkin.

07:36 The General Staff announced the estimated losses of the Russian Federation as of the morning of November 7:

  • personnel - about 704,300 (+1400) people,

  • tanks - 9224 (+10),

  • combat armored vehicles - 18,612 (+20),

  • artillery systems - 20,194 (+24),

  • MLRS - 1245 (+0),

  • air defense systems - 996 (+0),

  • aircraft - 369 (+0),

  • helicopters - 329 (+0),

  • Operational-tactical level UAVs - 18,408 (+42),

  • cruise missiles - 2631 (+0),

  • ships/boats - 28 (+0),

  • submarines - 1 (+0),

  • automotive equipment and tank trucks - 28,411 (+78),

  • special equipment - 3596 (+8).

05:25 Trump held a telephone conversation with South Korean President Yun Suk-yol, during which the parties discussed, in particular, the deployment of North Korean troops on Russian territory to participate in the war against Ukraine, the South Korean leader's administration reported. In addition, Trump discussed the war in Ukraine with Macron. The Elysee Palace assessed the conversation as very good: "They agreed to remain in close contact to continue discussions on Ukraine and the Middle East."

00:49 Zelensky said he had a "wonderful" phone conversation with Trump: "We agreed to maintain close dialogue and develop our cooperation. Strong and unwavering US leadership is vital for the entire world and for a just world."
Talking is good.
00:14 The Biden administration plans to urgently spend the $6 billion remaining for aid to Ukraine, Politico writes, citing two American officials. The publication recalls that $6 billion is the remainder of the $61 billion in funding approved for Ukraine in April. The funds are divided into two streams: $4.3 billion for replenishing the US Army's stockpiles and $2.1 billion for concluding contracts with American defense companies for the supply of weapons.

At the same time, the sources noted that it typically takes months for purchased ammunition and equipment to reach Ukraine after an aid package is announced, so anything deployed in the coming weeks likely won’t arrive in full before the Trump administration begins. And the next leader could stop the shipments before they even get there.

00:02 In Sumy Oblast, Russians fired at railway infrastructure, a crossing attendant was wounded, Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

Federal judge throws out Biden admin program to legalize illegal immigrant spouses of US citizens
[FoxNews] Trump-appointed federal judge ruled that the program exceeded Biden's executive authority.

A federal judge in Texas has thrown out the Biden administration's attempt to legalize hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants married to U.S. citizens via a "parole in place" program.

The program, called "Keeping Families Together," was introduced by the Biden administration during the summer and would have given protection from deportation to illegal immigrants who are married to U.S. citizens.

U.S. District Judge J. Campbell Barker, who was appointed by now President-elect Donald Trump, ruled on Thursday that the program is unlawful and exceeded Biden's executive authority.

"We just WON our lawsuit with Ken Paxton, Raul Labrador, and a coalition of 14 states. We have officially STOPPED the Biden-Harris Administration’s illegal attempt to grant mass amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens," America First Legal wrote in a post on X following the decision.

The program was launched in August but was blocked days later by Barker, who left it frozen while he considered a legal challenge brought by Texas and a coalition of U.S. states with Republican attorneys general.

"Since day one, the Biden-Harris Administration has dedicated itself to the decimation of our immigration system and the erasure of our borders. Time and again, the States stood up. And today, the great State of Texas and the courageous Ken Paxton, alongside a coalition of other brave Attorneys General, succeeded in stopping an illegal program that would have provided amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens and paved the path for the largest administrative amnesty in American history. We are proud to stand alongside these patriots in defense of our great nation," said Gene Hamilton, America First Legal Executive Director.

The administration had estimated that about 500,000 immigrants would be impacted, and about 50,000 children.

However, the coalition of states claims that it would allow more than 1.3 million illegal immigrants to benefit.

The states argued that the rule violates federal law, which prohibits illegal immigrants from obtaining immigration benefits, including permanent status, without first having left the country and being readmitted. They argue it does that by an unlawful use of parole, which is limited to use on a "case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit."

"Joe Biden and Kamala Harris created a crisis at the southern border, leaving the American people to pay the consequences. In the wake of the federal government’s refusal to act, states like Missouri had no choice but to step in and take action to secure our southern border," said Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey. "We filed suit to ensure millions of unvetted individuals are not invading our communities."

The states in the lawsuit are Texas, Idaho, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wyoming.

NYC ends taxpayer-funded prepaid debit card program for illegal immigrants
[FoxNews] New York City is ending a program that provided prepaid debit cards to migrant families living in the sanctuary city.

In a statement obtained by FOX 5 New York, Adams announced the end of the immediate response cards pilot program.
Pilot crashed?
"Through the immediate response cards pilot program, we were able to reduce food waste, redirect millions of dollars to our local economy, and provide more culturally relevant food to more than 2,600 migrant families in our care," Adams said. "As we move towards more competitive contracting for asylum seeker programs, we have chosen not to renew the emergency contract for this pilot program once the one-year term concludes."

New York City officials began giving out prepaid debit cards to migrant families residing in the Big Apple earlier this year. The prepaid cards – the first of which were distributed in March as part of the city's Immediate Response Cards (IRC) program – are meant to be used only to purchase essential items like food.

The mayor’s office previously said access to the program is limited to those in a separate program that provides four-week hotel stays for families with children, and families expecting children.

Allowances for illegal immigrants residing in the city are distributed on a weekly basis until the end of their four-week hotel stays, with families of four with two children under the age of five receiving up to nearly $350 each week.

Officials said the program would save the city about $600,000 per month, and $7.2 million per year.

New York City, which has been overwhelmed by more than 200,000 migrant arrivals since 2022, has been providing settlement options to migrants since that time. Last year, it opened a re-ticketing center to offer one-way plane tickets to migrants.

Late last month, Fox News confirmed that 4,500 migrants had been sent back to Texas using bus or plane tickets purchased by the city, which was first reported by Bloomberg News.

According to Mayor Eric Adams’ office, the top five destinations for migrants leaving the Big Apple are Texas, Illinois, Florida, New York State and Colorado.

In total, they have issued more than 47,000 tickets and roughly 4,500 have gone to Texas. It was not clear how many of those migrants had come from buses sent to NYC from Texas.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott began bussing migrants to New York City and other sanctuary cities in 2022, in what he said was an effort to relieve pressure on the overwhelmed border communities. Abbott said he chose sanctuary cities – cities that limit cooperation with federal immigration enforcement – because he said they encouraged the crisis.

Arabia
Sayyed Houthi: Neither Trump, Nor Any World Criminal Can Prevent Yemenis from Supporting Palestinian People
I suspect the US Navy will be getting new orders in January, so lets readdress this question then, Mkay?
[ENGLISH.ALMANAR.COM.LB] Head of Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
's Ansarullah Movement Sayyed
...Arabic term meaning your/his lordship. Groveling in His Exalted Presence is encouraged...
Abdul Malik Badreddine al-Iran's Houthi sock puppets
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him...
stressed Thursday that the Yemeni attacks on the US-UK-Zionist vessels in addition to the Israeli targets in Occupied Paleostine would continue despite the attempts to disguise the possession of the ships.

In a televised speech, Sayyed Houthi underscored that this decision is resolute regardless of the results of the US elections, adding that some Arab regimes are raising their people fears of the US President-elect Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and whatever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
.

''We, in Yemen, had an experience with Trump, and he failed to impose his terms on Iran, Syria, Iraq, Leb
...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
and Paleostine. Trump only managed to reap billions of dollars from the rich Arab states.''

All the US presidents have just served the Israeli interests, recalling the failure of the ''deal of the century''.

Yemen insists on supporting the Paleostinian people regardless of any military escalation against it, Houthi said, adding that the best choice for the US administration is to end the Zionist wars on Lebanon and Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
, while aggression and sedition are futile.

Sayyed Houthi also underlined the crisis plaguing the Zionist entity manifested by the economic deterioration, dismissal of the defense minister, and the military recruitment after the loss of thousands of soldiers and officers in the battles.

Houthi highlighted Hezbollah's remarkable support for Gaza, adding that the Israelis were surprised by Hezbollah great capabilities in the ground battle.

The Yemeni leader reiterated that the former Secretary General of Hezbollah Martyr Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is a rare and historical figure, adding that, on His Arbaeen, the Islamic Resistance® carried out a major operation against Tel Aviv.

Houthi also stressed that the operations carried out by the Iraqi resistance groups would continue despite all the media and political pressure aimed at stopping them.

The Stay Behind Program Has Begin the Bunkering-In
[AndMagazine] A "stay behind" program is something intelligence agencies and special operations forces prepare in advance of an enemy invasion. During the Cold War, we set up programs like this in Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
for activation in the event the Soviets invaded and overran the territory of NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all....
allies. We recruited assets. We buried caches of weapons and munitions. We prepared to resist.

The federal bureaucracy is doing the same thing in advance of Trump’s inauguration.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is changing the civil service rules to make it harder for the incoming Trump administration to dismiss federal employees and put in place its own people.

During the first Trump administration, President Trump issued an executive order creating something called Schedule F. Put simply it reclassified many senior positions in the federal government as "at will" positions. What this meant in practice was that the President could remove these individuals readily and put in place his own people.

Ultimately, Schedule F never took effect, because the rule was implemented at the very end of Trump’s term, and Biden abandoned it immediately on taking office. Trump has made clear, though, that he intends to reinstate Schedule F on Day One of his new administration.

"Here’s my plan to dismantle the deep state and reclaim our democracy from Washington corruption once and for all, and corruption it is," Trump said last year. "First, I will immediately re-issue my 2020 executive order restoring the president’s authority to remove rogue babus bureaucrats. And I will wield that power very aggressively. Second, we will clean out all the corrupt actors in our national security and intelligence apparatus, and there are plenty of them."

In terms of getting down to the hard work of regaining control of the Swamp and curtailing the extra-constitutional power of permanent Washington, there are few more critical issues. The bureaucracy has become so large and so powerful, that it operates largely outside the control of America’s elected representatives. The President has to have the ability to put in place his people, not just at the Cabinet level but throughout the vast reaches of the federal government.

The men and women who inhabit the Swamp at its senior levels understand that. They have no intention of allowing a man elected by a bunch of average Americans from the provinces to actually gain control over the government. They are superior and born to rule after all.

So, OPM is locking in new rules designed to prevent Trump from putting his own people in place. Under Trump’s Schedule F certain positions "of a confidential, policy-determining, policy-making, or policy-advocating character" were designated as being exempt from civil service protections. This meant Trump could choose who filled those positions.

OPM just issued a new rule designed to dramatically narrow the definition of "policy-related" jobs to noncareer political appointments only. This means a very large number of positions would be designated as outside the scope of Schedule F. Many, many babus bureaucrats who otherwise might be fired will now be protected.

The new rule also puts in place a whole series of other limitations on moving people from a protected civil service status to one that would allow the President to remove them. Of course, the OPM rule also includes an appeal process so that every single individual removed by the President can now protest and demand additional layers of bureaucratic scrutiny.

Trump’s return to Washington is a critical first step in regaining control over the vast federal bureaucracy. This 4th branch of government, which appears nowhere in the Constitution, now operates largely beyond the control of any of the President and Congress. Both the Heritage Foundation and America First Policy Institute have endorsed reviving Schedule F, going so far as to create lists of some 50,000 current career civil servants whose positions need to be reclassified to allow the President to remove them at will. There have been, in fact, even broader proposals such as converting the entire federal workforce into at-will employees and outlawing collective bargaining at federal agencies.
They're looking for a replay of the first Trump administration. The Resistance™ will be back any time. 2016 knocked these parasites back on their heels, but remember that within a week they were hard at work trying to discredit, diminish, and destroy Trump and all his works. Remember Maxine Waters and her "Impeach 45" cries a month before he was inaugurated, the Emoluments Clause, and the "Anonymous" goober who wrote an editorial for the NYT about how they were ignoring his policies.

#1  I kinda like Speaker Mike Johnson's plan to decentralize government agencies. Why wouldn't the Department of Agriculture be moved to Kansas?
That plan will cause a LOT of attrition.

#3  DC voted 97% democrat. The people working in and running this nation are not representative of this nation. Our congress does not pass laws anymore. They pass resolutions to give agencies power to make up the laws. Laws made up of, 97%, democrats. Trump has to balance power in the agencies, call it draining the swamp or whatever, he has to do this and they know it.

Why Veterans Really Hate Liz Cheney And Kamala Harris
[THEFEDERALIST] The recent controversy regarding Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
's criticism of Liz Cheney as a warhawk who has never faced the dangers of the wars she embraces has synthesized an issue that may be opaque to non-veterans: the extreme resentment many veterans of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) feel toward Kamala Harris
former senatrix from California, 2020 Dem presidential hopeful and ultimately Joe Biden's intended successor
and the Democrat Party.

Harris and the Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
have created a perfect storm of veteran disdain in that they have succeeded in uniting three once-inapposite groups behind Harris: the neocons who started the GWOT, the media and Democrats who undermined the veterans' GWOT missions, and the generals who failed again and again and again at bringing the GWOT to a successful conclusion.

If you want to understand the prevailing veteran rage against Harris and love for Trump, you need to understand this unholy trinity that so many veterans loathe.

I'll start with the neocon ''chickenhawks.'' Maybe it's not fair to blame Liz Cheney for the GWOT as her father was its prime architect and not Liz herself, but she has come to serve as a symbol of the many advocates for useless, endless wars who never put their own lives (or the lives of their children) on the line, and who now support Kamala Harris. Liz Cheney stands as a symbol in this regard, and she stands for the many establishment Republicans who would rather support a radical Democrat than the only president in decades who did not start new wars.

These are neocons like Dick Cheney, Alberto Gonzales, Bill Kristol, and the infamous 200-plus Republican former staffers for George W. Bush, Willard Mitt Romney, aka Pierre Delecto
...former governor of Massachussetts, the Publican nominee for president in 2012, now Senator from Utah. He is the son of the former governor of Michigan, George Romney, who himself ran for president after saving American Motors from failure, though not permanently. Romney has a record as a successful businessman, heading Bain Capital, and he rescued the 2002 Winter Olympics from the midst of bribery and mismanagement scandals. He is currently a trans Republican and a member in good standing of the Never Trump Party, attempting to assume the mantle of the late John McCain...
, and John Maverick McCain
... the Senator-for-Life from Arizona, former presidential candidate and even more former foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution. As an ordinary citizen he greased the infamous hookers peeing on the Obamabed in Moscow dossier in an attempt to smear President Trump...
who helped design the GWOT. These are the people who put GWOT veterans into the cauldron that left them and so many of their friends dead, maimed, or bearing invisible scars that linger even today.

I served in both Afghanistan and Iraq. I was committed to our missions when I was there, and I know we did great good for so many citizens of those two countries. But in the end — given how those wars ended — I have to admit it was all for naught. Defeating al Qaeda and bin Laden in Afghanistan was the one mission that actually mattered, and the rest of what we did in those two wars was, sadly, a waste of time, money, and lives.

To have the architects of those useless, endless wars now turn on the one president who really cared about not squandering our lives feels like an injustice. Many of us stood by those neocons — even defended them in our private lives against slanderous lies — and now they turn on us by opposing the one man who vows that these sorts of wars will end. It is painful and feels like a betrayal.

The second leg of the unholy trinity is the Democrats and their media lackeys who helped us lose those wars — the same people those treacherous neocons have now allied themselves with.

Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) and the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
in Afghanistan both knew they could never defeat us in battle toe-to-toe. Our technology, our forces, our training, and our tactics were unbeatable. Instead, AQI and the Taliban adopted Ho Chi Minh's Vietnam war strategy: bleed the Americans dry so the folks back home would abandon the war effort. They knew that if they could turn the national will against our mission, America would quit.

They were right. Every IED attack was made not against the soldiers or Marines it killed or maimed, but against the folks back home watching CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for...
. The ''death counts'' on TV were the ultimate goal of our enemies.

When I returned from Iraq in 2004, I was shocked at how disconnected the news reports were from the reality on the ground, and I was shocked to see those same Democrats who sent us to war now suddenly turning against our mission. The daily march of Democrats with giant Dick Cheney puppet heads on the National Mall and the endless chants of ''Bush Lied, People Died'' served precisely the purpose AQI and the Taliban intended: to break the national will. To many of us returning vets, it felt that our own countrymen were giving aid and comfort to our enemy, helping them fulfill that enemy's strategic objective. This too felt like a betrayal.

The last leg of the trinity of veteran betrayal is the generals who could not win those same wars, retired from the military and went deep into the military-industrial complex, and now endorse Harris and demean Trump. These are generals like Stan McChrystal, who gave us such restrictive rules of engagement in Afghanistan that it cost the lives of so many troops. These are generals like John Kelly, whose counterinsurgency tactics solved so little in Al Anbar Province and who now libels the boss who fired him in The Atlantic magazine. These are generals like Michael Hayden, whose tenure at the National Security Agency did nothing to prevent 9/11, yet who found ways to use that tragic day as an excuse to spy on Americans.

These are the generals who led us in wars that they were not competent enough to win. Their leadership failed, no one was held to account, and now these same men stand proudly against the one president who would not tolerate those failures nor repeat them. This too feels like a betrayal.

Three groups, three betrayals. So many veterans feel like I do — not all, but many.

#1  Don't forget the little wars that nobody knows about in places nobody ever heard of. Then there are the coups and attempted coups in places like Libya, Syria, Egypt, Ukraine. I'd go so far as to wager that all the problems we now have with Iran stem from the CIA meddling in that country back in the early 1950s. Then there are all the wars that we sponsor, like Ukraine, in places where we have absolutely no business except for the imperialist ambitions of people like Liz Cheney.

Fifth Column
Seattle Police immediately shut down an Antifa election night riot group and made mass arrests after they started vandalizing the former CHAZ area
[X] What? No Autumn of Love?
"Our intent here is to get back to a normal First Amendment event without criminal activity," SPD said. "The only way we're going to interfere is if criminal acts are committed, or if you interfere with the police taking action."

On Tuesday night, Seattle police shut down an Antifa
...the armed wing of the Democratic Party...
direct action near the deadly CHAZ/CHOP anarchist zone in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. Several left-wing bully boyz were arrested on criminal charges, which resulted in the group dispersing for the evening, foiling Antifa's plan to riot on Election Day. The charges varied from property damage to defying police orders.

Seattle police maintained a substantial presence on the ground, preventing Antifa from conducting serious acts of illegal activity in the same neighborhood the bully boyz forcefully seized control of during the 2020 Saint George Floyd
...The patron saint of Minneapolis...
riots. Nearly 100 SPD officers followed the group on bikes and cars after they vandalized property and marched unlawfully in the street. Police issued announcements to the group throughout the night over an LRAD speaker and a police helicopter circled the bully boyz demanding the agitators remain lawful over a loudspeaker. At least five arrests were made, police said.

Antifa arrived at Cal Anderson Park around 6 pm dressed in their black bloc hard boy uniforms. The group was outfitted with helmets, gas masks, goggles, and other riot gear while concealing their identities under black facial coverings. While Antifa gathered prior to the march, police said the bully boyz allegedly committed acts of property damage by graffitiing the park with pro-Paleostinian messages and the group's anarchist symbol.

Antifa had posted an event flier around downtown Seattle a few days prior, encouraging residents in the community to "show their displeasure in the streets" on Election Day. The group advised supporters to wear black bloc and "bring a crew" to protest former President Donald Trump
...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down...
and Vice President Kamala Harris
who got her start in politix between former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's' knees
, adding that a victory for either candidate "is a win for genocide abroad and a militarized police state at home."

Immediately after the march began, Seattle police swooped in to make several targeted arrests outside the SPD East Precinct and gave official orders to Antifa, demanding they leave the road. The first group of arrested individuals allegedly committed property damage at the park, police said. The incident escalated when the bully boy group refused to exit the road, resulting in additional arrests. Under Washington state law, it is illegal to protest in the street if authorities declare the group is infringing on the rights or safety of others.

Antifa regrouped following the first round of arrests and committed further acts of property damage while marching along 13th Ave and Pine St. Seattle Police proceeded to trail the group and informed the bully boyz over the LRAD speaker that, while the department respects First Amendment rights, it will not accept criminal behavior. Officers then moved in to make another targeted arrest.

"Our intent here is to get back to a normal First Amendment event without criminal activity," SPD said over the LRAD. "The only way we're going to interfere is if criminal acts are committed, or if you interfere with the police taking action. Our purpose here is to make sure that this is a safe event for everybody and to keep the streets clear."

During the arrest, several members of Antifa hurled threats at officers, including calls for them to be killed. "This f*cking neighborhood would kill you if we had the chance," one hard boy said. "Get the f*ck out of here, pigs! Go f*cking die."

This arrest resulted in Antifa reconvening at Cal Anderson Park around 7:30 pm, where the bully boyz chose to disperse for the evening after their initial group of around 30 to 40 black bloc members had dwindled to about a dozen.
Interesting how little it took to defang them.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Hezbollah's Sheikh Qassem Grimaces Fearsomely: 'Israel' Will Scream, We Bet on Battlefield Rather than Political Action
[ENGLISH.ALMANAR.COM.LB] Hezbollah Secretary Sheikh Naim Qassem
... the Grand Vizier of the Hezbullies...
warned that the Israeli enemy will scream due to the Lebanese resistance strikes, stressing that the battlefield, not political action, will end the war.

In a televised speech via al-Manar, the second since his election as a secretary general, Sheikh Qassem vowed that Hezbollah will emerge victorious in the end of the war, noting that there is no place across the Zionist entity that Hezbollah can't reach.

He affirmed that the basis of any negotiation is to stop the aggression and to fully protect the Lebanese illusory sovereignty.

Sheikh Qassem said that Leb
...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
face a brutal war for more than 40 days, noting that Hezbollah is now engaged in a defensive war.

His eminence stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan was to end Hezbollah, invade Lebanon and change the Middle East, stressing that the resistance has foiled the Israeli premier's schemes.

-Great Cultural Revolution
Nolte: News Media Election Night Coverage Collapsed by 26%
[Breitbart]This is what I've been waiting for.
Viewership of news media coverage of Tuesday night’s presidential election collapsed by 26 percent, compared to 2020.

Tee hee.

That is a huge-huge drop, and the excuses coming from the usual suspects make no sense.

During the viewing "period of approximately 7-11 p.m. ET across 18 networks, specifically: ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW, Merit Street Media, Scripps News, Telemundo, Univision, CNBC, CNN, CNNe, FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network, MSNBC, Newsmax, NewsNation, PBS," reports far-left Variety, the "overall rating for the night was a 13.3, with approximately 28.45 million households."

"That is down significantly from network coverage in 2020, which drew an estimated 56.9 million viewers, equalling a drop off of approximately 26%."

And then we arrive at my favorite part:

A number of factors no doubt contributed to that decline, including the fact that people were still largely under lockdowns due to COVID during the 2020 election.

You see, when it suits the left, we are told that the pandemic increased television viewership. But when the bottom falls out of the ratings for the Oscars and Emmys and other Hollywood award shows, we were told the pandemic resulted in fewer viewers.

Let me tell you what I think happened. This is just one man’s opinion.

Viewership of the news media’s coverage of Tuesday night’s presidential election collapsed by 26 percent, compared to 2020.

Normally, I don’t work for a living. I’m a semi-retired part-timer. But on Election Day, I work for a living. I’m there for the duration. On Tuesday, I put in a 20-hour day and loved every minute of it, especially because all of Donald Trump’s enemies walked away with a face job.

Now, in order to do my job on Election Day and Night, I have to know what the hell is going on, and for the first time in 40 years of watching election returns, I did not turn on the TV. Why? A few reasons... 1) I hate almost everyone on TV, 2) the news media lie and spin and make everything about them, and 3) I was afraid I’d miss something.

Work-wise, the third reason was the most important, but even if I had the night off, it would’ve been the most important. Working or not, I want the most accurate information as soon as possible. So where did I spend the evening? On Xwitter. Everything I desired was on Xwitter. Not only did the results come fast and furious, but so did the thing the corporate media have abstained from for years: context.
Elon Musk for the win? I can get into that.
When I wanted to know what the campaigns were feeling, that behind-the-scenes stuff, I tuned into Mark Halperin’s online show.

Also, over this election season, I had curated a handful of data-driven Xwitter accounts that earned my trust and followed those on Election Day.

I bet I wasn’t alone, and I’ll bet a lot of people who did tune into the news networks hardly watched as they refreshed various social media accounts. Millions were undoubtedly watching podcasts.

As I wrote on Wednesday, We the People are the media now.

Republican Tim Sheehy defeats Jon Tester, a 3-term incumbent, to flip Montana Senate seat
[PBS.ORG] Republican Tim Sheehy bolstered the GOP's newly acquired Senate majority with a victory over three-term Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Tester in a contest of national importance that featured a record-setting torrent of spending by the two sides.

Sheehy, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, closely aligned his campaign with Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
and leading conservatives while painting Tester as a corrupt Washington insider. The Republican also promised to address the southern border crisis and curb government regulation.

His victory cements Republican dominance in Montana, where the party now controls every statewide political office. It also reflects a broader shift toward the GOP that has swept much of the American heartland over the past two decades.

Montana's political profile has changed dramatically since Tester's first election. It went from a ''purple'' state that traditionally sent a mix of Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
and Republicans to higher offices, to one where partisan divisions rule and the GOP enjoys a supermajority in the state Legislature.

Tester was the last member of his party to hold statewide office in Montana and the last Democratic senator from the five-state Northern Plains region. When he first entered office in 2006, Democrats held six of the region's 10 Senate seats.

The party entered Tuesday's election with a narrow two-seat majority in the Senate. Tester — a moderate and the chamber's only working farmer — was considered one of the most vulnerable Democrats on the ballot nationwide.

Republicans took control of the Senate on Tuesday night with wins in Ohio and West Virginia.
