Six 'Jew hunt' attackers arrested in Antwerp as anti-terrorist service fears 'copycat' Amsterdam attack
[GreatBritanniaNews] Belgian police have arrested six suspects who were allegedly planning an Amsterdam-inspired "Jew hunt" in Antwerp.

The suspects were coordinating through social media platforms, particularly Snapchat, to organise actions against Jewish people in Antwerp's Jewish Quarter.

The planned attack mirrored the language and tactics used by attackers in the Dutch capital last week.

Police front man Wouter Bruyns said anyone carrying flags, balaclavas or other materials indicating planned action risked arrest.

The suspects were detained as various groups, including young people, converged on the district and were instructed to leave.

"Anyone who did not comply with the request to leave the area was arrested," Bruyns said.

The operation focused on Antwerp's Jewish Quarter, where police maintained heightened vigilance against potential threats.

Belgian Justice Minister Paul van Tigchelt held consultations with Antwerp's Jewish community on Sunday, assuring them that security services were taking the threat seriously.

"Our anti-terrorist service has done its analysis, and the least we can fear is copycat behaviour," van Tigchelt said.

The minister warned of the realistic possibility of further incidents, stating: "Can this happen in Belgium? The honest answer is: why wouldn't it happen here? We have to be realistic about that."

Authorities have expressed growing concern over the term "jodenjacht" becoming established as street slang on social media platforms like Telegram and Snapchat.

The term, primarily used by young people of Arab origin, has been linked to coordinated efforts to target Jewish individuals.

The spread of this terminology through social media apps has raised alarm among security officials, particularly following the recent incidents in Amsterdam and the attempted copycat attack in Antwerp.

Israel's National Security Council has already advised citizens against attending cultural and sporting events in several European countries.

The advisory specifically mentions Britannia, the Netherlands, La Belle France, and Belgium among the nations where Israeli citizens should exercise increased caution.

This warning comes amid heightened concerns about antisemitic incidents across Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
and follows the recent attacks on Israeli football fans in Amsterdam.

Last week's attacks against Maccabi Tel Aviv fans in Amsterdam resulted in five people being taken to hospital and 60 people being arrested.

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof condemned the "antisemitic" attacks, with Amsterdam's mayor labelling the horrific scenes "hit and run".

Attacking successive Dutch Governments over the situation, Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders said: "All those parties that governed for years and left our borders wide open should be ashamed of themselves.

"They are now shedding crocodile tears but are entirely responsible for the import and growth of all that disgusting Jew-hatred."

Israel removes severe travel warning for Sri Lanka beach town
[IsraelTimes] National Security Council lowers threat level for Arugam Bay area from 4 to 2, after suspects arrested in connection with Iranian plot to kill Israelis

Israeli authorities eased a travel warning for Sri Lanka on Wednesday, some three weeks after cautioning tourists at a popular beach town of an imminent terrorist threat.

The National Security Council, which publishes travel advisories, said it was lowering the warning level for Sri Lanka’s Arugam Bay area from four, which indicates a highly credible threat, to two, indicating a milder occasional threat.

The high-level threat area had extended across Sri Lanka’s southeastern coast as far as the town of Hikkaduwa.

The rest of the island nation was lowered from level three — moderate — to level two.

The United States, which had also issued a warning for Arugam Bay, rescinded its advisory as well on Wednesday, the embassy in Colombo said.

According to an affidavit filed in US federal court late last week, an Afghani man named Farhad Shakeri, recruited by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps told the FBI on October 28 that he and an accomplice had been ordered to plan a mass shooting attack against Israelis at an unnamed location in Arugam Bay, a popular spot for Israeli surfers chasing an endless summer.

The accomplice, whom the filing identified as one of three people arrested by Sri Lankan authorities a day after the warning was issued, had agreed to provide AK-47s and other weapons for the attack, according to the complaint. The accomplice was unnamed, but was said to have served prison time with Shakeri in the US.

According to Sri Lanka’s Daily Mirror, three others have since been arrested. No details were available on the suspects.

Israel had advised its nationals in Arugam Bay and nearby areas to leave immediately on October 23, citing the "threat of terrorist attacks against several targets, including popular terrorist locations in Arugam Bay and the south and west coastal areas of Sri Lanka."

Israelis remaining in the country were advised to go to Colombo, where there were more local security forces, and to hide anything that might identify them as Israelis or avoid gathering in large numbers.

The decision to downgrade the warning came two days after Sri Lanka’s Foreign Ministry asked the US to cancel its warning. According to the Daily Mirror, Sri Lankan authorities had bolstered security for tourists following the warnings and on Sunday Defense Secretary Sampath Thuyacontha visited the area around Arugam Bay to assess the security situation.

Israel’s National Security Council cautioned travelers Wednesday to remain vigilant while visiting the country, leaving in place the advisory against wearing Jewish or Israeli symbols.

That’s Rantburg’s own ryuge, being clever and insightful for all the world to see.
Seattle has finally started tossing people in jail for low-level crimes again after four years of letting shoplifters, vandals and other petty criminals walk free.

The change, which went into effect earlier this month, reverses pandemic-era restrictions by King County that kept Seattle police from booking all but the most serious misdemeanors into the slammer.

Officials in the Emerald City argued the policy hamstrung prosecutors and cops.

But now Seattle’s ne’re-do-wells will face a jail cell if they flaunt the law.

The move is a win for local law enforcement, which has long pushed for more tools to fight a four-year crime wave that has continued since the pandemic — despite crime in nearly every other major city declining, an analysis by the Seattle Times showed.

“We’ve had people tell us, ‘You can’t arrest me for that.’ Well, that was true but now we can. We’re hoping to get a little bit of accountability back,” the Times quoted Deputy Police Chief Eric Barden as saying.

The booking restrictions began in 2020, when King County Jail — which contracts with Seattle — slashed its capacity for social distancing reasons.

After that, the county cited staffing issues for the ongoing restrictions.

Meanwhile, Seattle officials, including City Attorney Ann Davison, said that the restrictions were a millstone around the necks of city law enforcement and municipal courts, causing many crimes to go entirely unpunished.

When the city began negotiating with a different jailhouse in the city of De Moines to hold its low-level thugs, a group of public defenders sent a letter to the city council whining about the long commute they would have to make to the new jail, according to the Urbanist.

Finally, the county used hiring bonuses and new overtime incentives to attract more correctional officers, and the city and county were able to strike a new deal that went into effect on Nov. 1, according to the Times.

Government Corruption
The steal was stopped in 2024
The global Marxist democrats in the USA are reeling from the seismic political shift underway in the 2024 elections, lashing out in all directions looking for who to blame for their massive loss, taking crazy to a new level, as they wrestle with a clear and compelling message from American electors that they just refuse to comprehend.

The "MAGA" movement is much bigger and stronger than they had imagined, as they were Pavlov-trained by their elitist leaders to believe it was all about one man, Donald J. Trump, and that all of his supporters were mere mindless members of his alleged "cult." That was a fatally flawed belief...promoted by the "legacy media."

[News with views] The legacy of the "legacy media" is they no longer control the hearts and minds of the American electorate. It was bound to happen sooner or later, thanks to social media, making it possible for people to get to the truth with a little honest research, and walk away from the mass-propaganda machine known as the "legacy media."

A full week after election day, a few democrat-controlled states like California and Arizona are still having trouble counting their votes and reporting their final numbers. But we can already see exactly what happened in the 2024 elections, and the people should have seen it coming for years.

Not Funny: The Onion Buys Infowars In Bankruptcy Auction
[ZeroHedge] The leftist-satirical rag The Onion announced on Thursday that it had won a bankruptcy auction to acquire Infowars - the website founded and operated by Alex Jones since 1999.

On Wednesday, Jones said that the auction's trustee could choose any bidder it wanted - not necessarily the high bidder. Jones announced the sale on X Thursday morning.

"I just got word 15 minutes ago that my lawyers and folks met with the U.S. trustee over our bankruptcy this morning and they said they are shutting us down even without a court order this morning," he said. "The Connecticut democrats with The Onion newspaper bought us."

The Onion told the NY Times that the bid was sanctioned by the families of the victims of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, who won a $1.4 billion defamation lawsuit against Jones.

The Onion did not disclose the price it paid for Infowars and its assets, including Jones' production studio and supplement business.

Ben Collins, CEO of The Onion parent company, Global Tetrahedron, says he plans to relaunch Infowars in January as a parody of itself, mocking "weird internet personalities."

Government Corruption
J6 Shocker: Phone companies dispute FBI testimony on pipe bombs suspect, key lawmaker reveals
[JustTheNews] The new revelations heighten the mystery—and scrutiny of the FBI—surrounding one of the most disturbing security failures on the day of the Capitol riot.

Cellular carriers have told Congress they possess intact phone usage data from the vicinity where two pipe bombs were planted during the Jan. 6 incident, directly disputing FBI testimony that agents couldn't identify a suspect because the phone data was corrupted, a key House chairman tells Just the News.

The revelations from Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., the chairman of the House Administration oversight subcommittee, adds new intrigue to a debate that has gripped Washington for nearly four years: Why can't the FBI with so much evidence and manpower identify the suspect who planted the explosive devices at the Democrat and Republican Party headquarters hours before the Capitol was breached.

“In the days and weeks following January 6, 2021, the FBI opened an investigation into the pipe bomber and attempted to identify the suspect by analyzing cell phone data linked to the area surrounding the RNC and DNC,” Loudermilk told Just the News.

“In June 2023, the former Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, Steve D’Antuono, who oversaw the pipe bomb investigation, said that the FBI received corrupted data from one of the cell carriers and that it most likely contained the identity of the pipe bomber. Given the significance of this information, my Subcommittee sent letters to the three major cell carriers, asking them to respond to Mr. D’Antuono’s claim of corrupted data,” he said.

“Every major cell carrier responded and confirmed that they did not provide the FBI corrupted data,” Loudermilk said.

“Additionally every major cell carrier confirmed they were never notified that the FBI had any issues accessing the data. This contradictory testimony raises some serious questions about the status of the investigation into the pipe bomber and about why the case remains unsolved nearly four years later,” he added.

Last year, D’Antuono told the House Judiciary Committee that the FBI did not a receive complete phone data from telephone carriers because some of it had been corrupted.

“We did a complete geofence. We have complete data. Not complete, because there's some data that was corrupted by one of the providers, not purposely by them, right. It just -- unusual circumstance that we have corrupt data from one of the providers,” D’Antuono testified in a transcribed interview.

“But for that day, which is awful because we don't have that information to search. So could it have been that provider? Yeah, with our luck, you know, with this investigation it probably was, right,” he said.

D’Antuono served as the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office until he stepped down in late 2022. A lawyer for the retired agent did not immediately return an email Wednesday seeking comment.

The concerns about the unsolved Jan. 6 pipe bombs have been heightened by evidence Loudermilk disclosed in the last year showing that then-Vice President-elect Kamala Harris was taken within 10 yards of one of the live bombs on the morning of Jan. 6 because the Secret Service did not do a thorough security sweep.

In addition, Loudermilk also provided security camera video footage and still photos of the suspect holding a device that lawmakers believe was a cell phone, further making the phone data a potential case-solving piece of evidence.

Loudermilk sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray this fall demanding to know whether D'Antuono's testimony was accurate and whether the bureau ever went back to the cell phone carriers to get a fresh set of uncorrupted data. Just the News obtained a copy of the letter.

"The Subcommittee requests that the FBI provide a response to Mr. D’Antuono’s claim that the FBI received corrupted data," loudermilk wrote Wray.

The letter specifically demands that the FBI chief answer whether the bureau ever "inform the cell carrier(s) that provided corrupted data that the data they provided was corrupted or otherwise unusable."

The bureau was able to obtain photographic and video evidence of the prime suspect, but have so far been unable to locate the individual, to the consternation of congressional investigators. A $500,000 reward for information about the suspect remains in effect, according to the FBI’s Washington Field Office.

The FBI declined to comment on the investigation.

I'm glad the Potomac was returned to healthy status before now, because it will see a lot of sewage as the Augean Stable that is Washington is flushed repeatedly!

… John Brennan identified 26 Trump’s associates to “bump” or make contact with or manipulate.

B: The House Judiciary Committee CONFIRMS a whistleblower report that the FBI targeted Donald Trump soon after he announced his presidential campaign in June 2015, an off-the-books operation ordered by Obama’s deputy chief of staff FBI Director James B. Comey that predated the Crossfire Hurricane operation.

— two female FBI undercover agents infiltrated Trump’s 2016 campaign and were directed to act as “honeypots” while traveling with Trump and his campaign.

C: Reports also CONFIRMS Barack Obama has planted approximately 2500 personnel to overthrow the United States government a head of Donald Trump’s 2017 Presidential transition team, as so with Tump’s 2024 transition team.

D: In 2020, Barack Obama characterized the conspiracy as “absurd."

— In this clip, Obama directly refutes the spying claims — as so “absurd".

He then goes rambling about “foundations of democracy” being so sacred that you “do not allow the politicization of the criminal justice system, the intelligence system [or] the military."

E: Arrest them all. Prosecute them all. Incarcerate them all at once, for the crimes of fraud, racketeering, obstruction of justice, election interference, and conspiracy to overthrow the United States government. But first Barack Obama.

Zelensky's doomsday nuke option: How Ukraine could go nuclear on Putin and has enough plutonium to make HUNDREDS of nuclear warheads powerful enough to destroy Russian military bases
[Daily Mail, were America gets its news]
  • Ukraine gave up its nuclear arsenal in 1996 following the Soviet Union's collapse

  • But Kyiv could still manufacture rudimentary nuclear weapons using plutonium

A briefing paper prepared for Ukraine's Defence Ministry said Kyiv could develop small dirty bombs within months if Donald Trump pulls US military aid.

Despite giving up its nuclear arsenal in 1996, Kyiv is still in control of nine operational reactors and has significant expertise on how to build the weapons.

Ukraine does not have the time or resources to run the facilities required to enrich uranium needed for high-yield nuclear weapons amid the ongoing war.

But Oleksii Yizhak, head of department at Ukraine's National Institute for Strategic Studies and author of the paper, said Kyiv could extract plutonium from its spent fuel rods at nuclear power plants to create a significant arsenal of dirty warheads.

'The amount of material is sufficient for hundreds of warheads with a tactical yield of several kilotons,' Yizhak concluded.

'That would be enough to destroy an entire Russian airbase or concentrated military, industrial or logistics installations.'

Tourists turn on the Eternal City: Rome's Trevi fountain is emptied and fences go up around the Colosseum as 'building site' city is branded a 'mess' amid chaotic face-lift for 2025 festival
Taking advantage of the event, Rome has pooled billions of euros of state and European funds to overhaul tourist sites, transport hubs, parks, streets and even its rubbish bins.

The frenzy of work has snarled traffic, to the fury of residents, and left some visitors this year feeling short-changed as they weave their way through myriad building sites, but mayor Roberto Gualtieri promised it will all be worth it.

'This is an unmissable opportunity to make structural changes ... and transform Rome,' Gualtieri said in July. 'We are going to get a more sustainable, inclusive and innovative city that enhances its extraordinary heritage.'

Rome's monumental facelift ahead of the 2025 Roman Catholic Holy Year has left tourists feeling let down after seeing more scaffolding than famous sites.

Fortress Poland: Country begins construction of $2.4bn 'East Shield' lining its borders with Russia and Belarus with anti-tank fortifications, AI-powered surveillance and anti-drone systems
Poland has begun building a £1.9billion 'East Shield' along its borders with Russia and Belarus, in an effort to protect NATO's eastern flank as tensions simmer amid the war in Ukraine.

The 400-mile-long construction will include anti-tank fortifications, bunkers and other obstacles built to physically defend the border and control movement at a time when US support for Europe's defence is expected to wane as Donald Trump takes office in January.

Trump, who last week won the US presidential election, has repeatedly said he would 'end' Russia's invasion of Ukraine on his first day in office, adding that he also plans on cutting aid to Kyiv, despite the US being a top financial and military backer. His team has also reportedly considered the idea of creating an 800-mile buffer zone across the front line that would be marshalled by EU and UK troops.

Anti-drone systems and state-of-the-art surveillance technologies, powered by artificial intelligence to help early threat detection, will also protect Poland from threats posed by modern warfare revealed by the conflict to the south.

What's more, the 'shield' will also include a satellite component in order to provide 'another element of safety in space,' Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk said, in order to ready the country for 'the wars of the future'.

The fortifications are designed to fend off potential threats from 'the enemy', Tusk said earlier this year, with the heavily militarised Russian exclave of Kaliningrad to the north considered to be posing a growing threat to the West.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
$15 million in taxpayer funds went to Dr Anthony Fauci's security detail
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The government’s former top infectious disease expert Dr Anthony Fauci, often maligned for supporting stringent Covid isolation measures, was given a whopping $15 million - worth of private security after retirement from Jan. 4, 2023, to Sept. 20, 2024.

Dr Fauci, who headed the NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases until his retirement in December 2022, had a publicly funded chauffeur and a dedicated security team of US Marshals, according to Freedom of Information Act documents obtained by independent journalist Jordan Schachtel and Open The Books.

During this time, these same services also managed his personal protection while he was still a government official.

The former official has been subject to death threats since the start of the pandemic and frequent public criticism, which he and other officials argue merit heightened security.

When Dr Fauci retired, he was the highest-paid public servant on the books, with a record $480,654 salary. For comparison, the president’s salary is $400,000.

Since retiring, he has published a bestselling memoir about his career in public service, which spans from his work during the AIDS crisis in the 1990s to Covid starting in 2020. His book deal was secured for just under $5 million.

According to Open the Books: ‘Up until at least late September, this agreement between the two government agencies has left the American taxpayer on the hook for the costs attached to Dr. Fauci’s lifestyle, which included a publicly-funded chauffeur and a fully staffed U.S. Marshals security detail.’

Dr Fauci said last year that his security detail was necessary because ‘I am a big big target of the extreme radical right in this country.’

The doctor has had a target on his back since the onset of Covid in March 2020.

Open the Books added: ‘It is unclear how unusual the arrangement between Health and Human Services and the U.S. Marshals Service may be. We could find no other cases of a former federal employee receiving this level of protection.’

His early missteps, including discouraging the use of masks only to walk that back about a month later, and his advocacy for draconian lockdown measures that saw millions of children shift to virtual learning, have garnered widespread criticism and violent threats.

He added: ‘I get so many threats. Some of them are credible threats of violence … that I have to be walking around with federal marshals protecting me, which is completely crazy.’

Back then, the monthly cost of his security detail amounted to $1 million in taxpayer dollars.

According to a report obtained by CBS News's 60 Minutes, two former national security advisers from the Trump administration were given Secret Service protection after leaving the White House due to potential threats from Iran. The total cost to taxpayers for the security detail of both individuals exceeded $12 million.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Secret Service agent fired for taking ex girlfriend to the Obamas' Hawaii beach house to 'have sex in Michelle's bathroom like a mile-high club'
Thank goodness Donald Trump was reelected.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A Secret Service agent has been fired after his ex-girlfriend revealed that he took her to the Obamas' Hawaii estate to have sex in the bathroom 'like a mile-high club.'

Koryeah Dwanyen revealed the lurid details between herself and an agent, whom she only named as 'Dale,' in her book 'Undercover Heartbreak: a Memoir of Trust and Trauma.'

The book, which released on October 28, reveals that in 2022, 'Dale' showed him pictures of the residence before daring her to come with.

'No one will know. If anything, I'm the one who could get in trouble,' Dwanyen claims the agent said.

That's when he dared her to defile the former First Lady Michelle Obama's bathroom with him.

'We should have sex in Michelle [Obama]'s bathroom, like a mile-high club,' Dwanyen claims he suggested.

The Secret Service has confirmed that due to this and several other breaches, 'Dale' has been fired.

'On Nov. 6, 2022, a Secret Service agent involved in protective functions brought an individual who did not have authorized access into a protectee's residence without permission,' Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi told ABC News.

'As soon as the Secret Service became aware of the incident, the agent involved was immediately suspended and after a full investigation, terminated.'

He added that the Obamas were not present when 'Dale' tried to bring Dwanyen for a tryst.

'Although the protectees were not present at the time of the incident, these actions were an unacceptable violation of our protocols, our protectees' trust and everything we stand for,' he added.

'Dale' was a serial liar, according to Dwanyen's book, saying that he lied about not being married and would continuously gossip about information learned from his job guarding the Obamas.

'There were major red flags—breaches of trust and of his job,' Dwanyen said. 'One of my friends has joked, 'You were a walking national security risk.'

Eventually, she blew the whistle and sent an email to 'Dale's' boss after having met him previously and gotten his contact info from the emails he shared with her.

It's the latest embarrassment for the Secret Service, after an independent report on the first assassination attempt against Donald Trump concludes it's likely another incident will happen if there is not a complete overhaul to the agency.

The four-person panel released a scathing 52-page report Thursday claiming there is a 'loss of public confidence' in the group tasked with protecting all current and former presidents as well as major party presidential candidates.

Without massive reform, the report claims, there will be more incidents like the one at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally on July 13.

The group appointed by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is just one of the several groups looking into the USSS failures that allowed shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, to get just a few hundred feet within the former president with an AR-15 rifle.

Suspected bomber dead after trying to enter Brazil's top court ahead of G20
[NY Post] A man killed himself with a bomb outside Brazil’s Supreme Court after trying to enter the building on Wednesday, officials said, stirring security concerns before the country hosts global leaders from the Group of 20 major economies.

The blasts come five days before the G20 heads of state meet in Rio de Janeiro, followed by a state visit to the capital Brasilia by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The first of two explosions went off on Wednesday evening in a parking lot near the court building and a second blast came seconds later in front of the court, where the man’s body was found.

Federal District Vice Governor Celina Leao said preliminary information suggested the man had killed himself with explosives after trying to enter the Supreme Court.

She said he owned a nearby car in which another explosion blew open the trunk.

Leao said she hoped it was the crime of a "lone wolf," but she could not be sure.

Police said they had not made a final identification of the dead man as they were confronting the risk of additional explosives on the body.

The explosions took place around the Plaza of the Three Powers, an iconic square in Brasilia connecting the principal buildings of Brazil’s three branches of federal government.

It was the scene of riots on Jan. 8 last year when supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro ransacked the buildings to protest his electoral defeat.

Police deployed a bomb squad with an explosive disposal robot to the square in the heart of Brazilian capital to investigate the blasts.

102 years ago, one of the all-time greatest archaeological discoveries was made
[Jpost] Monday marked the 102nd anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings on November 4, 1922, one of the most spectacular discoveries in archaeology. On that fateful day, British archaeologist Howard Carter wrote in his diary, "I discovered the first traces of the entrance to the tomb (Tut-ank-Amon)," marking the discovery of the tomb of the Golden King.

Howard Carter had been excavating in the Valley of the Kings for a decade and was no stranger to the challenges of treasure hunting in such an ancient and looted place. Since 1907, he had been working with British nobleman Lord Carnarvon, who financed the excavations in the lands washed by the Nile. However, Lord Carnarvon began to doubt that his investment would yield results. In 1922, when Carter had been excavating in the valley for five years without significant results, Lord Carnarvon pressured him to terminate the work. Lord Carnarvon granted Carter a last season of work in the autumn of that year—his final opportunity.

By a stroke of luck, Carter and his team made an incredible discovery, having begun excavations just three days earlier. A member of their team, a water boy, accidentally stumbled upon a stone that turned out to be the first step of an ancient staircase. Intrigued, Carter ordered to excavate quickly, and gradually, the team unearthed a series of descending steps leading to a sealed door with hieroglyphic inscriptions. These seals indicated that it was a royal tomb, and Carter realized he was facing the find of his life—a historic event.

The oldest known stone tablet of the Ten Commandments to be auctioned by Sotheby's
[Jpost] An ancient marble tablet inscribed with an ancient Hebrew version of the biblical Ten Commandments is set to be auctioned by Sotheby's in New York on December 18. The auction house announced that the tablet will be exhibited to the public starting December 5. Sotheby's presented the tablet on Tuesday in a statement as "the oldest known version" of the Ten Commandments made in stone.

The tablet dates from the Byzantine era and is approximately 1,500 years old. Weighing 52 kilograms and standing about 60 centimeters high, the stone bears twenty lines of text engraved in Paleo-Hebrew, a script that went out of common use many centuries ago. The twenty lines of text closely follow the biblical verses familiar to both Christian and Jewish traditions.

However, although ten commandments are inscribed on the plaque, there is one commandment not found in the Book of Exodus: "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain." Sotheby's specified that the commandment not found in the Book of Exodus is to pray on Mount Gerizim, a specific sacred place for the Samaritans.

Australia votes in favor of permanent sovereignty for Palestinians
[Jpost] The resolution was voted on at the UN committee, with the US, Israel, Canada, and four other countries voting against the resolution.

At the UN committee meeting on Thursday, Australia, as well as 158 other countries, including the UK and New Zealand, voted to recognize "permanent sovereignty of the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and of the Arab population in the occupied Syrian Golan over their natural resources.”

The resolution was first drafted 20 years ago.

The US, Israel, Canada, and four other countries voted against it, and 11 abstained. The resolution will now proceed to the UN General Assembly.
The UNGA is a powerless talk shop where unimportant countries posture and preen in mutual adoration… and vote on yet another anti-Israel measure in the hope that this time the UN Security Council lets it go through.
Penny Wong, the spokeswoman for Australia's foreign minister, said the vote reflected concern for Israel's actions, including "ongoing settlement activity, land dispossession, demolitions and settler violence against Palestinians."

Australia also voted in favor of a separate resolution draft, which states that Israel must take responsibility and compensate Lebanon for its role in a 2006 oil spill.
160 other countries voted in favor of the second draft.

Alex Ryvchin, co-CEO of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, said the voting reflected the "widening gulf" between the US and Australian positions on Israel and Palestine.

“This shift in voting won’t change much in Israel where the nation is concerned with Hamas and Hezbollah and hostages rather than the judgments passed by our government," he added. "But it will be noticed in Washington and certainly by Australians with a connection to the conflict, which may well be the point."

JEWISH, ZIONIST GROUPS ALARMED BY AUSTRALIA'S SHIFT
The Zionist Federation of Australia (ZFA) said it was alarmed by the shift in the country's long-standing positions.

"This is nothing less than an abandonment of Australia’s ally, the only democracy in the Middle East, at the very time it is fighting an existential, multi-front war against Iran and its proxies."

The ZFA added that the resolution opposes the construction of the security fence separating Gaza from Israel, which has saved thousands of lives.

"Without the fence that was opposed by this resolution, the death toll in Israel could have reached unimaginable levels.”

Political representative of the US mission to the UN, Nicholas Koval, said the US is "disappointed that this body has again taken up this unbalanced resolution that is unfairly critical of Israel, demonstrating a clear and persistent institutional bias directed against one member state."

The Australian Jewish Association called it a "betrayal" and said the Albanese government was the most "hostile to Jewish life and the Jewish State in Australia's history."

Trump's team drawing up list of Pentagon officers to fire, sources say
Members of President-elect Donald Trump's transition team are drawing up a list of military officers to be fired, potentially including the Joint Chiefs of Staff, two sources said, in what would be an unprecedented shakeup at the Pentagon.
It will be interesting to see how many will choose to resign or retire ahead of the presidential swearing in, forestalling the necessity.
The planning for the firings is at an early stage after Trump's Nov. 5 election victory and could change as Trump's administration takes shape, said the sources, who are familiar with the Trump transition and requested anonymity to speak candidly about the plans.

One of the sources questioned the feasibility of a mass firing at the Pentagon.

It was also unclear if Trump himself would endorse the plan, although in the past, he has railed extensively against defense leaders who have criticized him. Trump has also spoken during the campaign of firing "woke" generals and those responsible for the troubled 2021 pullout from Afghanistan.

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

FEMA Employee Fired For Bypassing Homes With Trump Signs Says ‘Befehl ist Befehl’
[Federalist] An employee who was terminated from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for ordering government workers to bypass homes of Trump supporters said she was simply following standard operating procedure.

On Friday, the Daily Wire reported that FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington had instructed staff to "avoid homes advertising Trump" while "they canvassed Lake Placid, Florida to identify residents who could qualify for federal aid" after Hurricane Milton tore through the region in early October.

"Government employees told The Daily Wire that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags were skipped from the end of October and into November due to the guidance, meaning they were not given the opportunity to qualify for FEMA assistance," the outlet reported. "Images shared with The Daily Wire show that houses were skipped over by the workers, who wrote in the government system messages such as: ’Trump sign no entry per leadership.’"

Washington was promptly fired from the agency, and FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell condemned the conduct as "a clear violation of FEMA’s core values & principles to help people regardless of their political affiliation."

"This was reprehensible," Criswell said. "This employee has been terminated and we have referred the matter to the Office of Special Counsel."

Washington, however, who was also terminated from her private sector job at a property management company, said in an interview with the Black Star Network published late Monday night that she was just following FEMA’s standard operating procedure.

Republicans win control of the US House with 218 seats
WASHINGTON (AP) — Republicans have won enough seats to control the U.S. House, completing the party’s sweep into power and securing their hold on U.S. government alongside President-elect Donald Trump.

A House Republican victory in Arizona, alongside a win in slow-counting California earlier Wednesday, gave the GOP the 218 House victories that make up the majority. Republicans earlier gained control of the Senate from Democrats.

With hard-fought yet thin majorities, Republican leaders are envisioning a mandate to upend the federal government and swiftly implement Trump’s vision for the country.

Tucker Carlson talks about Joe Rogan
[Modernity] During a recent discussion with Joe Polish‬ at the Genius Network Annual Event, Tucker Carlson heaped praise on Joe Rogan, going as far to say that the podcast king has "changed American history."

Tucker noted that "Rogan created the genre of podcasting. I’ve been in the media my whole life. Rogan used to be a sitcom actor, a standup comedian, and an MMA fighter. So he starts this thing called a podcast where he talks for like three hours."

Carlson admitted "I’m in television at a big network and I thought it was dumb. No one is going to listen to a three-hour podcast from some MMA fighter?"

"I know, right?" Carlson said as the audience began to chuckle.

"And this guy’s not even in our business! What’s he doing?" Carlson related, explaining his feelings at the time.

FBI seizes Polymarket's equipment and databases after they correctly predicted the election!
[X] BREAKING: FBI SEIZES POLYMARKET CEO’S ELECTRONICS AFTER TRUMP ELECTION PREDICTION

The FBI seized Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan’s phone and electronics at his Soho home early Wednesday, just a week after Polymarket accurately predicted Trump’s election win.

Sources close to Coplan call it “political retribution,” alleging the raid is aimed at punishing Polymarket for outperforming traditional polls.

The government reportedly suspects market manipulation favoring Trump.

Polymarket, a transparent prediction market charging no fees, denies any wrongdoing.

Coplan was not arrested.

Operation in Kursk region. Russia prepares offensive
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] To regain control over the Kursk region, Putin sent 50,000 soldiers from Russia and North Korea.

Russians are trying to storm Ukrainian positions in the Kursk region, but this ends in heavy losses for them. Vladimir Putin gave the order to regain control of the Kursk region by January 20, the day of the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump, The Telegraph writes. According to the publication, Putin sent 50,000 soldiers from Russia and North Korea to regain control of the Kursk region.

HUGE LOSSES
DeepState project analysts reported that on Monday, November 11, Russians made multiple attempts to "drop into" the village of Novoivanovka in the Kursk region or its outskirts. The enemy used almost thirty units of military equipment and lost at least 18 of them. Analysts also reported that the number of killed or wounded soldiers of the aggressor country could reach 300 people. The survivors "dug into the plantings or fled."

"It was truly a black day for the Russian occupiers, who tried to storm in five or six waves. That is, they tried to fly in on equipment, with paratroopers, and storm populated areas. However, ten armored vehicles were destroyed by soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade," said Anastasia Blishchik, press officer of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade, adding that three enemy armored personnel carriers were blown up by mines, and other equipment was destroyed using FPV drones and Stugna ATGMs.

The rest of the armored vehicles were destroyed by the adjacent brigades, with which the fighters of the 47th separate mechanized brigade are stationed in the same direction. According to Blishchik, the enemy also suffered losses in manpower. Those Russians who survived "ran away and hid in the plantings."

“That is, such a failed assault by Russian occupiers took place,” the press officer emphasized.

FOR THE SAKE OF NEGOTIATIONS
British military intelligence assesses that Russia is likely to step up attacks using kamikaze drones on Ukrainian positions in the coming days, using new launch sites located near the border.

Around 12,000 North Korean conscripts will also presumably take part in the battles for the Kursk region under a military agreement between Russia and the DPRK concluded this year.

Ukrainian analysts say the Kremlin could use a major counteroffensive in the Kursk region to intensify attacks and advance toward the Sumy region.

Russia has now regained control over about half of the territory captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the operation that began in August.

Western diplomats have expressed concern that Putin will try to complete the territorial takeover before Trump's inauguration to strengthen Russia's hand in future peace talks.

More from korrespondent.net
During the one hundred days of the Kursk operation, the Russian Federation dropped more than three thousand UABs

While razing their own settlements to the ground and killing their own citizens, the Russians dropped 3,243 guided aerial bombs and 356 unguided aerial missiles on their own soil.

The operation of the Defense Forces in the Kursk region has lasted 100 days. During this time, the enemy has shelled its own territory 11,578 times. This was reported by the operational command North on Wednesday, November 13.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces specified that while razing their own settlements to the ground and killing their own citizens, the Russians dropped 3,243 guided air bombs and 356 unguided air missiles on their own soil.

"Today marks 100 days since the Ukrainian Defense Forces began the Kursk operation. During this time, the enemy shelled its own territory 11,578 times (51,456 explosions). While razing their own settlements to the ground and killing their own citizens, they dropped 3,245 unguided rockets, 2,462 explosive devices from UAVs, and used 2,175 FPV drones on their own land," the statement added.

In turn, Ukrainian soldiers burned dozens of armored vehicles and destroyed hundreds of enemies in the Kursk direction.

Let us recall that earlier the General Staff reported on the progress of the fighting in Kursk region.

It also became known that the Defense Forces repelled an intensive assault by Russian troops in the Kursk region, resulting in the destruction of an entire battalion of the enemy.

Blinken urges IDF to implement days-long pauses in Gaza fighting to allow aid delivery
[IsraelTimes] Secretary says this was one of three demands that Israel fell short of meeting from letter that threatened partial arms embargo, which the US held off on implementing

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken
...71st United States secretary of state and a leading light of the corrupt and inept Biden administration. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under the corrupt and inept Obama administration. He advocated for the 2003 invasion of Iraq while serving as the Democratic staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2002 to 2008. He was a foreign policy advisor for the Biden 2008 presidential campaign. During his tenure in the Obama administration, Blinken helped craft B.O.'s policy on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the nuclear program of Iran. We all saw how well each of those worked. After leaving government service, Blinken moved into the private sector, co-founding WestExec Advisors, a lobbying firm...
on Wednesday called on Israel to implement days-long humanitarian pauses in the fighting in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
in order to allow for the safe delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians throughout the Strip.

It was one of three steps that Blinken said Israel had fallen short on from a list of 15 that were included in a letter the US sent Israel on October 13, which gave Israel 30 days to implement those measures at risk of being deemed in violation of US law, which bars the transfer of offensive weapons to countries that block the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians.

As the deadline expired on Monday, the US said Israel had made enough progress on those steps to remain in compliance with US law, but administration spokespeople came under fire from news hounds who pointed out that even Israel’s daily average of aid trucks entering Gaza over the past month was roughly 15 percent of the benchmark of 350 that the US demanded Israel meet in the letter.

Moreover, even after aid has entered the Strip, much of it is looted by Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
or local gangs or remains in storage due to IDF restrictions, leaving the humanitarian situation as dire as ever. The situation remains particularly grim in northern Gaza where aid is starting to trickle in to areas that were under siege by the IDF for nearly a month.

But with Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
’s election win last week, the Biden administration saw much of its leverage over Israel disintegrate, given that the president-elect would likely reverse any move to withhold weapons from Israel upon returning to the White House.

In remarks to news hounds at the NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A single organization with differing goals, equipment, language, doctrine, and structure....
headquarters in Brussels, Blinken defended the US decision to continue sending weapons to Israel, saying Israel wouldn’t have taken any of the steps it did over the past month — such as the minor uptick in aid trucks entering Gaza, opening additional crossings and delivery routes, waiving certain custom requirements for aid groups, resuming the delivery of aid into northern Gaza and expanding the Muwasi coastal humanitarian zone — had it not been for the administration’s October 13 letter.

Still, he recognized that Israel had fallen short on some of the US demands; one being rescinding evacuation orders after the IDF finishes operating in particular areas.

The army’s refusal to do so has led to major overcrowding in the Muwasi humanitarian zone and concerns that Israel is seeking to take over large swaths of Gaza territory, either to create a buffer zone or to establish settlements. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured Blinken during the latter’s visit to Israel last month that Jerusalem is not planning to rebuild communities in the Strip, but when the secretary asked the premier to publicly declare as much, Netanyahu declined to do so, apparently due to pressure he faces from far-right coalition members who back the controversial effort, a US official told The Times of Israel.

Blinken said Wednesday that Israel has also fallen short on the US demand to allow the entry of commercial goods into Gaza.

"This is vital because so many of the things that commercial truckers bring in, including things like fruits and vegetables, are absolutely essential to the balanced nutrition for people in Gaza," he said, adding that such goods are not typically part of the humanitarian aid the enters Gaza and are critical for boosting Gazooks’ immunity to diseases as winter approaches.

Blinken recognized that the entry of commercial trucks raises the risk of additional looting. There are already roughly 900 trucks sitting on the Gazook side of Kerem Shalom due to such concerns, and the US is working to address with Israel and Egypt to address the issue, he said.

The most significant of the three shortfalls was the lack of "real and extended pauses in any fighting in large areas of Gaza so that the assistance can effectively get to people who need it," Blinken said.

While he acknowledged that this demand poses major challenges, it is one that Israel managed to meet to allow for a polio
...Poliomyelitis is a disease caused by infection with the poliovirus. Between 1840 and the 1950s, polio was a worldwide epidemic. Since the development of polio vaccines the disease has been largely wiped out in the civilized world. However, since the vaccine is known to make Moslem pee-pees shrink and renders females sterile, bookish, and unsubmissive it is not widely used by the turban and automatic weapons set. Currently the disease is only found in Pakistain and Afghanistain...
vaccination campaign that served hundreds of thousands of children throughout the Strip — though one that likely wouldn’t have been necessary in the first place if not for the humanitarian crisis sparked by the war.

While Israel has allowed for hours-long pauses, Blinken said those will need to be extended for days in order to ensure that aid can get to all parts of the Strip.

The secretary noted that he will be discussing the issue with US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. The very model of probity....
in the coming days and stressed that Israel has a responsibility to meet these demands.

Regardless, Blinken stressed that the best way to address the humanitarian crisis is by ending the conflict, arguing that Israel has already achieved its war aim of ensuring that Hamas doesn’t have the military capabilities to conduct another October 7-like attack in addition to taking out the terror group’s leadership.

It still has not succeeded in releasing the hostages, though, and Blinken slammed Hamas’s rejection of recent proposals for a short-term deal. Netanyahu has also ruled out ending the war in exchange for the hostages, in what has further complicated negotiations. His critics have claimed his refusal to end the war stems from concerns that this would lead to the collapse of his coalition, which includes far-right elements who want the fighting to continue and for settlements to be established in northern Gaza.

But Blinken appears to place more of the blame on Hamas, adding that its refusal to engage in recent negotiations is what led Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
to tell the terror group’s officials in Doha to leave the country. No timeline has been given for that departure, though.

And while Blinken stressed Israel’s responsibility to surge humanitarian aid throughout Gaza, he called out the international community for failing to hold Hamas responsible for the continuation of the war. "It’s extraordinary to me that from almost day one, there is no focus on Hamas and almost deafening silence around the world on Hamas."

Students occupy Italian defense firm Leonardo’s Turin headquarters to protest Gaza war
[IsraelTimes] Anti-Israel activists say Italian weapons firm is complicit in alleged ‘genocide;’ Italy’s defense minister slams demonstrators as ‘dangerous subversives’

Around a hundred students occupied Leonardo’s Turin headquarters to denounce what they say is the Italian defense group’s complicity in Israel’s military operation as it battles against Paleostinian terror group Hamas

Strip.

The students, who unfurled a Paleostinian flag from the roof of Leonardo’s offices, said the company was supporting Israel by providing remote technical assistance and spare parts to Israel’s air force.

Leonardo declined to comment.

Images released by the students showed them in Leonardo’s offices waving Paleostinian flags and carrying spray cans. Outside they hung banners on the buildings saying "no arms to Israel" and accusing the group of complicity in "genocide."

They also clambered on top of a plane in the grounds of the company’s headquarters. Video broadcast by the Corriere outlet showed police clashing with the protesters at the plant.

Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto condemned the protest, saying on X that the students were "destroying and defacing" the offices where an "important meeting with the staff of the defense ministry" was taking place.

"These people must be treated for what they are, dangerous subversives. Criminals have no political color, they are just criminals," he said.

Crosetto said in March that Italia had continued to export arms to Israel, despite government assurances last year that it was blocking such sales following the Israeli army’s campaign in Gaza triggered by the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attacks on Israel that killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians.

In March, the minister said only previously signed orders were being honored after checks had been made to ensure the weaponry would not be used against Gazook civilians.

Through its US subsidiary, Leonardo provides Israel with aircraft and owns an Israeli radar company called RADA.

The company has sold to Israel trainer jets and utility helicopters. It is also involved in the manufacture of parts for the F-35 jet flown by the Israel Air Force.

Under Italian law, arms exports are banned to countries that are waging war and those deemed to be violating international human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
In July, anti-Israel, pro-Paleostinian protesters blocked the entrance to a Leonardo factory in Edinburgh, Scotland, local outlet The National reported at the time.

Government Corruption
Purges and Counter-Revolution: Who Will Rule America in the Coming Years
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Malek Dudakov

[REGNUM] Only a short time has passed since the US presidential election, but Donald Trump, who won, is already rushing to form his presidential team.

He understands very well that there is not much time to implement reforms. This is Trump's second and final term, and four years will fly by quickly and unnoticed.

The current situation is very different from what it was in 2016. Then, Trump simply had no team, except for a small circle of advisers who helped him during the election.

Initially, the lists of the transition team were compiled by then-New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. But then he was pushed aside and none of the proposed candidates were hired to work in the presidential administration.

Vice President Mike Pence took charge of recruiting officials. He recruited a lot of representatives of the Republican establishment who openly sabotaged the boss's policies.

There will be no repetition of those mistakes now - Trump has taken into account the shortcomings of 2016 and is himself, together with his family, selecting a team. It may indeed include some of his former ministers who did not spoil their relations with him.

In particular, the representative of the billionaire dynasty Betsy DeVos may be made the Secretary of Education again. Democrats disliked her for her active support of private and religious schools as opposed to regular municipal educational institutions.

The real battle has unfolded around the implementation of the so-called “Project 2025,” written by representatives of the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation.

In fact, we are talking about a conservative counterrevolution in all spheres of American society with the return of religious values to American education, the refusal to promote the "rainbow" and racial-gender agenda. And even a criminal ban on pornography and abortion.

There is also talk of major purges of the bureaucracy in Washington. Liberal apparatchiks are to be replaced by conservative Trump supporters.
…or not replaced at all, but do go on.
The military is proposed to be used to combat crime and drug cartels, as well as to deport illegal immigrants. The response to the rampant crime in the US in recent years will be a sharp tightening of the screws, as well as accelerated trials and the imposition of death sentences on captured criminals.
Possibly expulsion rather than death. Death penalty cases often take decades to wind their way American courts.
During the election period, the Democrats actively used the "2025 Project" as an argument in favor of the fact that under Trump the US will face "real fascism." However, this rhetoric did not help them much. Trump himself distanced himself from the "Project," although now, after the elections, he may well hire its authors and implement at least some of the ideas.

The future president is also placing loyal managers at the head of the intelligence community and in the Pentagon, since he wants to see American security officials on his side. The promised purges are also likely, especially since some of the intelligence officials are already resigning without waiting for the inauguration.

The CIA director is planned to be John Ratcliffe, who helped Trump fight off Russiagate during his first term. And the Pentagon will be headed by Pete Hegseth , a retired military man and Fox News host. He has no connection to the Washington swamp and is loyal to the personally elected president.

Both of Trump's closest allies, known to the entire world - Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy - have received carte blanche to reform the state apparatus.
To make reforms or to recommend reforms? I haven’t yet seen that defined, perhaps because I haven’t looked closely — President Trump is moving too fast and there’s too much else to keep track of.
They will be responsible for dismissing officials.
That sounds definite. Proof, please.
There is an objective reason for this: the bureaucracy in Washington is extremely ineffective.

At the same time, the US is living under a colossal budget deficit of $2 trillion, which needs to be addressed and money saved. And, of course, under this cover, Trump's opponents who sabotaged his policies during his first term will be removed from government service.
Bureaucrats who sabotage their lord and master are not effective at their jobs. QED.
One of the first priorities for the new administration will be to resolve the immigration crisis at the southern border of the United States. During the four years of Joe Biden's presidency, about 7 million illegal immigrants have broken through into the country.
Is that all? I thought it was more, although really there’s no way of knowing for sure.
The new management team is popular with the idea of so-called "remigration." This involves the mass deportation of migrants to third countries, which Washington will pay to accept them. Guatemala could be one of them.
I suspect that a lot of people will take themselves home before President Trump is sworn into office in January. This migration thingy hasn’t turned out to be anything like what was promised, except for the organized and unorganized criminals.
The seriousness of their intentions is confirmed by the fact that the new team immediately includes ardent opponents of immigration. Among them is Stephen Miller, Trump's senior adviser in his first term, whom the Democrats liked to accuse of being almost a Nazi for his dislike of "newcomers."
Are you sure it’s newcomers he dislikes, or just illegal newcomers?
And the person most responsible for solving the border crisis will be Tom Homan, the former head of the US Immigration Service and a proponent of the policy of separating families of illegal immigrants, temporarily taking away their children and thus forcing them to leave the country.
Actually, didn’t he propose sending the legal children away with with their illegal parents, thus keeping families together? When condescending to the awful Americans, it’s important to get one’s facts right.
Battles are also underway around the persons who will head the economic bloc. Trump is definitely returning to the helm the main supporters of trade wars like Robert Lighthizer, who in the first term of the new-old president de facto destroyed the WTO system and introduced tariffs against China.

Several billionaires close to Trump are vying for the post of Minister of Finance.
Do we have one of those? Does he mean what we call Secretary of the Treasury?
But they will pull him in the other direction: representatives of big business have many assets in the Celestial Empire that they would not like to lose.

By the way, similar contradictions are also emerging within the framework of the "green agenda". Trump intends to reduce subsidies for the construction of wind turbines and solar panels, as well as for the purchase of electric cars. He will return to supporting oil and gas production in the United States, which is currently stagnating due to the depletion of shale reserves.
I was under the impression it wasn’t depleted reserves, but the Biden-Harris administration shutting down new production — but admittedly I don’t really know.
However, here he is already in conflict with Musk's business, which needs to sell its electric cars.

Trump also has big plans to reform the Federal Reserve System, he wants to make it accountable to the White House in order to influence US monetary policy. The new president is seeking to lower rates and devalue the dollar by 25-30% in order to increase the competitiveness of the American economy.

It will certainly not be easy for the current head of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, to be under constant pressure. And there is always the possibility of an early replacement of the Federal Reserve director with an economist close to the new authorities.

And finally, a refresh awaits the foreign policy team, the formation of which was not without surprises. Before the election, Trump's key foreign policy advisers were Richard Grenell, a former ambassador to Germany, and Elbridge Colby, from the CIA dynasty. However, they have now temporarily retreated into the shadows.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio, the first Cuban to hold the post, will be secretary of state, and congressman and retired military officer Mike Walz will be national security adviser.

Rubio, who once ran against Trump in the 2016 Republican primary and earned the nickname “Little Marco,” has since changed his views and embraced the ideology of “Trumpism.”

Rubio, like Walz, is connected to the Israeli lobby, and both are set on confrontation with China. At the same time, in the context of relations with Russia, these politicians are pragmatists who voted against the allocation of tranches to Ukraine.

Rubio, as secretary of state, will have to deal with Russia, Israel, and the Arab world, so he is certainly not to be envied. That is probably why Trump gave him the job almost immediately. Over time, he can be replaced by one of his close advisers, like Grenell. Trump likes to shuffle cabinet members; he constantly changed cabinet ministers in his first term.
Or perhaps it was that during his first term he was trying to find people who weren’t working to undermine and control him instead of support his goals.
For Rubio, the stakes are high: He didn’t just trade in a cushy job as a Florida senator for the top U.S. diplomat’s job for nothing. He has obvious presidential ambitions, and Marco needs to make a name for himself at the federal level.

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik from New York will become the US Permanent Representative to the UN. She is set for a tough clinch with the bureaucracy there, which Trump's team considers anti-American and anti-Israeli.

In his first term, the elected president already cut funding for the organization and withdrew the country from the human rights committee. In his second term, he will further suppress international institutions like the UN and the WTO, and wage trade wars with the European Union and China.
To The Rest Of The World: If you want those things, you pay for them. We’re done.
At the same time, there are still intrigues in the process of forming the new administration. For example, will the flamboyant Robert Kennedy, who promises to fight the influence of "big pharma," get the job?

It is possible that at some point we will see Tucker Carlson among the advisers , although public service clearly does not appeal to him - he likes to be a leader of public opinion.

Overall, we can already say that Trump's current team is very different from the one in 2016. Back then, the establishment set the tone, and figures loyal to the president were in the minority.

Now, on the contrary, they have a “controlling stake,” and ambitious politicians like Marco Rubio, who want independence, have to adapt to Trump’s agenda. So there will definitely be no repetition of the mistakes of the first term.
No doubt there will be different mistakes, but that’s ok.
And now the president, who is about to take office, has a much better chance of winning the fight against the “deep state.”
The view from Russia. Very interesting.

If one was to stop and compare the generalities between say the Obama / Biden Regime & a typical Banana Republic, vs MAGA.

Isn't MAGA (We the People) in the process of overthrowing a Socialist Democrat Coup that stole power and was increasingly circumventing Citizen rights?

There is an objective reason for this: the bureaucracy in Washington is extremely ineffective.

To the contrary the Washington bureaucracy is extremely effective: they still cash their paychecks, collect every benefit due them (and many bennies outside of the law), and advance Deep State goals. Most of them are protected from removal by various laws (passed by Congress) entrenching the Civil Service.

#3  Trump is covering the flanks where the attacks came from in is first term. Intel, Justice, and the DoD were the centers of resistance the first time around.
So put the screws to them first, encourage resignations and retirements, and don't give them the time to to build their narrative network.
Nominating Gaetz for AC and DoJ is a poison pill for the Dems. They can confirm him, or DeSantis can appoint him to fill Rubio's senate seat. (make your choice, bitches.)

Instead we nominated a third party candidate as head of the Republican Party and elected him three times. MAGA is the Republican Party, we took that bitch over, and this MAGA Country. This election proved we have a mandate that the govt works for us. Power back to the People. Who will rule America?

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Russia makes presentation to Israel after strike near airbase in Syria
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The Russian Defense Ministry made a representation to Israel after the strike carried out near the Khmeimim airbase in Syria. This was stated on November 13 by the Russian President's Special Representative for the Syrian Settlement, Alexander Lavrentyev.

"Israel did indeed carry out one airstrike in the immediate vicinity of Khmeimim. That is, it did not strike directly at the airbase, because this, naturally, would have had very negative consequences, including for Israel," RIA Novosti quoted the diplomat as saying.

He clarified that, according to available information, the strike hit a certain warehouse.
Oh? Iranian, Syrian, or Hezbollah?
The Russian Defense Ministry noted the inadmissibility of such actions, which pose a potential threat to Russian military personnel. Lavrentyev expressed hope that the incident would not be repeated.
Perhaps Russia ought to gently suggest to Iran/Syria/Hezbollah that it would be thoughtful of them to store their IDF-attracting stuff farther away from the delicate Russian army.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, since October 1, Israel has been conducting a ground operation against the Shiite Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon, while simultaneously continuing to bomb Syria. On November 10, at least six people were killed in an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) airstrike on the Sayyida Zeinab neighborhood in southern Damascus. A residential building was attacked.
Sayyida Zeinab is Hezbollah territory, a regular IDF target since Hezbollah reared up on its hind legs to join Hamas in attacking Israel. And now they’re paying for their pleasures.
On the night of November 8-9, the IDF Air Force attacked targets southeast of the city of Aleppo in Syria. Several Syrian soldiers were injured in the attack. According to Al Hadath TV channel, the strike was carried out on the As-Safira industrial zone. Journalists noted that military enterprises and defense warehouses are located there.

In September, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called on Israel to stop armed provocations against Syria and to refrain from actions that could lead to uncontrolled destabilization of the situation in the Middle East.

The statement by the Foreign Ministry spokesman was preceded by an IDF attack on at least ten sites in several Syrian provinces. According to Al Hadath TV, one of the targets was the Institute for Scientific Research in Hama province, where, according to Israel, weapons for Iranian groups were being manufactured. The strikes resulted in deaths and injuries.

Britain
Trump 'Outright Hostile' to UK Surrendering Strategic Air Base
[Breitbart] The incoming Trump is administration is openly hostile to the UK government’s push to give away a key strategic island in the Indian ocean, the Labour minister fending off criticism by repeatedly emphasising the Biden White House likes it, which apparently makes everything alright.

Brexit leader Nigel Farage MP was granted an urgent question in Britannia’s House of Commons, the main legislating chamber, on Wednesday afternoon on the shock announcement last month that the UK government was giving away the British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT) to Mauritius. The question is of major interest to the United States and the wider Western intelligence and defence community given one of the U.S. military’s most strategic bases is on the largest of the BIOT islands, Diego Garcia.

Leveraging his closeness to the incoming Trump administration, something he can uniquely claim among perhaps every member of the 650-seat house, Farage made clear his understanding that the new Trump White House would not take kindly to the treaty to hand over the islands in return for assurances from Mauritus that the UK and U.S. could keep their base there and that other islands wouldn’t then be handed over to adversaries like China being signed.

Mr Farage told the chamber: "I warned the Foreign Secretary six weeks ago in this chamber that it was an enormous mistake to do this given that we had a U.S. Presidential election coming up on November 5th.

-Land of the Free
Court Vaporizes 50 Years of Environmental Law, Leaving Trump's EPA to Build on the Ashes-This Is A Big Deal
[RedState] The US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit summarily vaporized 46 years of Federal environmental regulations. Writing in a case called Marin Audubon Society, et al v. FAA, et al, the majority of a three-judge panel ruled that the Council on Environmental Quality, a cabal inside the Executive Office of the President charged with ensuring that National Environmental Protection Act requirements are interpreted uniformly across the federal government, had illegally used the Federal Register to publish that guidance thereby giving citizens, agencies, and even the courts the impression that their internal guidance had the authority of law.

The decision was written by Karen LeCraft Henderson (George H. W. Bush) and A. Raymond Randolph (George H. W. Bush) with Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan (Joe Biden) dissenting, and it found:

As the parties argue the case, it centers on whether the Agencies complied with regulations of the Council on Environmental Quality, an entity within the Executive Office of the President. We will not address these arguments. The CEQ regulations, which purport to govern how all federal agencies must comply with the National Environmental Policy Act, are ultra vires.

Ultra vires means the CEQ was acting "beyond the legal scope of its authority."

The court goes on to detail the shenanigans by which an advisory body with no regulatory authority was able to write environmental regulations for the entire United States for nearly a half-century just because it decided it could.

Making the case even more awesome is that it was set off by enviro-wackos suing the FAA for allowing sightseeing flights near some national parks. The enviros claimed the FAA used the wrong standard established by the CEQ to permit the flight. They ended up being right in a backhanded kind of way.

This decision throws the entire environmental regulation scheme governing the federal government into chaos. I suspect that many of the CEQs regulations will be reissued by other agencies, but after Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo (see The Supreme Court Firebombs the Administrative State and Tells Congress to Get Off Its Butt and Work) that slew the medusa called "Chevron deference," the survival of those replacement regulations is not assured.

BTW: Ethol-Gas cost more to produce that plain gasoline.
The USA alone uses 5.18 Billion bushels of corn each year to make it. Which is almost enough to feed all of North & Central America for 6+ months.

#4  NN, the Chevron doctrine from almost 100 years ago allowed congress to give law making authority government agencies under the premise some things are too complicate so let the experts make the laws. This allowed the EPA, SEC, IRS and other agencies to use their courts to put you on trial, find you guilty and not allow you to testify in person. Earlier this year the supreme court tossed most of the Chevron defense out as unconstitutional. This is fallout from it. Finally.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
6 Israeli soldiers killed in fighting with Hezbollah as IDF pushes deeper into Lebanon
[IsraelTimes] IDF says troops died during gun battle with terror group members; air force hits Hezbollah in Beirut as Iran-backed group claims to target army’s HQ; Syria claims bombed by Israel

Six Israeli soldiers were killed in a clash with Hezbollah forces, the IDF announced Wednesday, as Israeli troops pushed deeper into southern Leb
...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
amid an intensification of violence, even as officials expressed cautious optimism on ceasefire talks.

The clash came as troops moved into the second line of villages across from the border as the IDF said it had further expanded its ground operation in southern Lebanon, It was one of the heaviest single-day losses in the operation that began in late September against Hezbollah.

The slain troops were named as:

  • Cpt. Itay Marcovich, 22, from Kohav Ya’ir

  • Staff Sgt. Sraya Elboim, 21, from Mehola

  • Staff Sgt. Dror Hen, 20, from Gan Haim

  • Staff Sgt. Nir Gofer, 20, from Dimona

  • Sgt. Shalev Itzhak Sagron, 21, from Sderot

  • and Sgt. Yoav Daniel, 19, from Nahariya.

They all served in the Golani Brigade’s 51st Battalion, the IDF said in a statement.

According to an initial IDF probe, the soldiers were killed in an exchange of fire with at least four Hezbollah operatives inside a building in a village in southern Lebanon. At least one other soldier was moderately maimed in the incident.

All four of the Hezbollah members were eventually killed, the Kan public broadcaster reported.

It was the second deadliest day for the IDF operation after eight soldiers were killed on October 2.

In addition to the expanded ground operation, Israeli fighter jets continued to strike Hezbollah targets in the southern suburbs of Beirut after the IDF issued evacuation warnings ahead of Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s, a method that has intensified in recent days. The military said the targets included weapons depots and a command center.

Later in the evening, the IDF issued new evacuation orders for Lebanese civilians in the vicinity of two buildings in Beirut’s southern suburbs. Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language front man, published maps alongside the announcement, which called on civilians to distance themselves at least 500 meters from the sites.

Syrian state media claimed an Israeli attack also targeted the area of al-Qusayr in the southern countryside of Homs province in central Syria. The IDF later confirmed the strike, saying it hit land crossings between Lebanon and Syria, which were being used by Hezbollah to bring weapons into the country.

Israeli fighter jets struck several routes in Syria that the IDF says were in use by Hezbollah’s Unit 4400, which is tasked with delivering weapons from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
to Lebanon. Syria’s state-run SANA news agency, citing a military source, says the strikes caused "significant damage" to several bridges on the Orontes River and other roads on the Syrian-Lebanese border in the al-Qusayr area. According to the IDF, the strikes are a major blow to the capabilities of Hezbollah’s Unit 4400.

The IDF in recent months has ramped up strike against attempts by Hezbollah to bring in weapons, including by targeting border crossings with Syria as well as the shipments themselves.

Hezbollah meanwhile, continued to fire barrages of rockets and drones into northern and central Israel. Hezbollah said that it had fired ballistic missiles at the IDF’s headquarters as it claimed a series of attacks against high-profile Israeli targets. The pro-Iranian group said in a statement that it had targeted the site in the commercial hub of Tel Aviv, which houses both the defense ministry and the headquarters of the Israeli military, with Qader-2 missiles. Hezbollah had already announced earlier in the day that it had targeted the same site with explosive drones.

It then later said that it had fired a salvo of missiles at another site near Tel Aviv which it said was owned by the Israeli Weapons Industries (IWI) arms manufacturer. Hezbollah said it was the first time that it had targeted the site. IWI is a major supplier of the Israeli military.

The IDF said earlier it had intercepted two drones from Lebanon in northern Israel. There was no indication that any drones reached central Israel or came near army headquarters. Later, the IDF said around five rockets were launched from Lebanon toward the Haifa area and central Israel. It said some of the rockets were intercepted while others impacted on the ground. There are no immediate reports of damage or casualties.

’WE WILL NOT TAKE OUR FOOT OFF THE GAS’
The violence came as efforts continue in Washington and Beirut to find a negotiated end to combat between Israel and Hezbollah. However,
women are made to be loved, not understood...
new Defense Minister Israel Katz promised that the IDF will keep fighting until all of Israel’s goals are achieved.

"We will not make any ceasefire, we will not take our foot off the gas, and we will not allow any arrangement that does not include the achievement of the war’s goals," Katz said during a visit to IDF Northern Command with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi.

He listed the aims as disarming Hezbollah, pushing it beyond the Litani River, and allowing the residents of northern Israel to return safely to their homes. Video of his statement appeared to show Halevi reacting in surprise to Katz identifying disarming Hezbollah as a goal of the war, since such a move has not been decided by the cabinet.

Hezbollah is barred by UN Security Council Resolution 1701 from maintaining a military presence south of the Litani. The Shiite terror group has blatantly violated that resolution and regularly launches attacks on Israel from near the border.

Katz stressed that Israel will continue to insist on its "right to enforce [any deal] on its own and to act against any terrorist activity and organization."

"Now we need to continue to hit Hezbollah with all our strength," he said.

NAVY JOINING THE FIGHT
Also Wednesday, the IDF revealed the extent to which the Israeli Navy has been involved in the fighting, with much of the previous headlines taken by airstrikes and the ground operation.

The military revealed that the navy has carried out dozens of missile strikes in Lebanon amid fighting against Hezbollah, including the liquidations of a top commander in the terror group’s drone unit and a senior Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
member.

On October 5, a Navy Sa’ar 6-class corvette launched a missile at an apartment in the Beddawi Paleostinian camp near the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
, killing Saeed Atallah Ali.

Another missile strike carried out by a Navy corvette, on November 3, killed Ali Barakat, a top commander in Hezbollah’s aerial forces, known as Unit 127, which is responsible for drone and cruise missile attacks on Israel.

Navy corvettes and missile boats have also launched dozens more strikes in Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah sites and assets, including rocket launchers and weapon depots, in addition to supporting ground troops operating in the south of the country.

The military said that Navy vessels are used for certain strikes in Lebanon, instead of the traditional fighter jets or drones, due to their constant availability at sea and because the attacks can be launched more discreetly.

Navy submarines have also been used for their observational capabilities amid the fighting in Lebanon.

The corvettes and missile boats have also been used to intercept projectiles launched at Israel, mostly drones but also some rockets, using the ship-mounted version of the Iron Dome, known as C-Dome.

Separately, the IDF released footage of a recent strike carried out by fighter jets in Beirut, targeting Hezbollah’s main naval base. According to the military, the base was used by Hezbollah to store fast boats, carry out tests, and train its naval forces.

Anyone, during the Biden Admin that violated the rights of others, should have their day in court to explain and try to defend their actions.

With that said. As a MAGA voter, I expect the full restoration of the US Constitution rights. Plus a return to strict, unbiased application and adherence to the US Law.

So it is likely the LSD's will be treated far more fairly than their Regime treated MAGA.

Top Russian naval commander accused of war crimes is assassinated in Ukraine-planted car bombing: report
[NY Post] A top Russian navy commander accused of war crimes was assassinated in a Ukraine-planted car bomb explosion in Crimea on Wednesday, sources said.

Valery Trankovsky, who headed the 41st brigade of Russia’s Black Sea missile ships, was wiped out in the targeted attack in the city of Sevastopol, a Ukrainian security source told Reuters.

The hit — carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine — was justified after Trankovsky ordered missile strikes on civilian targets in Ukraine, according to the sources.

Russia’s Investigative Committee, which handles probes into serious crimes, called the assassination an act of terrorism but stopped short of identifying the slain serviceman.

Baza, a Telegram channel close to Russia’s security services, only identified him as "Valery T" — describing him as a "captain first rank" for the Black Sea Fleet and a former chief of staff of the missile ship brigade.
Footage and images shared on the Telegram channel showed smoke billowing from the charred wreckage in the wake of the explosion.

Trankovsky is just the latest pro-war Russian figure to be assassinated by Ukraine.

German poll shows approval for more defense spending as NATO steels itself for Trump 2.0
[Stripes] A majority of Germans support significant defense spending increases, an outlook that coincides with the imminent return of Donald Trump
...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down...
to the White House and an anticipated pressure campaign on allied militaries to step up, a new public opinion survey found.

In September, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius proposed pushing the amount of spending dedicated to the military from 2% of gross domestic product to between 3 and 3.5%.

In a new poll released Monday by the Koerber-Stiftung Institute, 50% of respondents supported Pistorius’ idea, while a further 15% said even more should be spent on German defense.

The bullish public sentiment on defense expenditures could come in handy for German politicians, who are likely to come under heavy scrutiny once Trump returns to office in January.

President Trump: Tulsi Gabbard will serve as Director of National Intelligence (DNI)
[X]

Background from Fox News, courtesy of 3dc:
Tulsi Gabbard, a veteran and active duty Army reservist, served in the House as a Democrat from Hawaii from 2013 to 2021, before joining the Republican Party and campaigning for Trump in his most recent race for president. She is now a co-chair of the Trump transition team.

In September, Gabbard told Fox News Digital she would be "honored" to join a Trump administration and added that bringing an end "to the influence of the military industrial complex," working to prevent World War III and bringing the U.S. back "from the brink of nuclear war" would be among her priorities.

She was reportedly interested in the defense secretary job, but Trump is reported to have promised that appointment to former Fox News host Pete Hegseth, also an Army veteran.

Gabbard has criticized Democrats as "pro-censorship" and "anti-freedom," but her criticisms have extended to Republicans, as well. She has spoken out against U.S. involvement in the Middle East and criticized Trump during his first administration for the killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

Gabbard controversially met with Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad in 2017 during the country’s civil war. She was opposed to the U.S. arming Syrian rebel groups and said she was "ready to meet with anyone if there's a chance it can help bring about an end to this war."

Gabbard was reportedly placed on a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) watchlist for terrorists known as "Quiet Skies" earlier this year.

The program allows federal air marshals to follow U.S. citizens and collect information on their behavior in an effort to stop threats "posed by unknown or partially known terrorists."

"As I was traveling, I ended up in 30 to 45 minutes of going through screening every time I would go to the airport to fly," she told Fox’s One Nation. "I noticed air marshals, I noticed K-9 teams. There were things that I saw and noticed that were highly unusual. But the deepest pain and harm and stress that’s been caused by this is that, forever going forward, I will always be looking over my shoulder, wondering if and how my government is surveilling me."

In Congress, she co-sponsored legislation that would ban first-use of nuclear weapons and often decries politicians who "beat the drums of war and ratchet up tensions."

Gabbard, who is a Fox News contributor, could not be reached for comment.

The director of national intelligence leads an office that advises the president, National Security Council and Homeland Security Council on national security matters. Any nominee for the role must be confirmed by the Senate – or put in on an acting basis.

FSB thwarts terrorist attack at electrical substation in Nizhny Tagil
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk region, November 13, 2024, 09:51 — IA Regnum. Federal Security Service officers have thwarted a terrorist attack planned on orders from Kiev at a substation supplying electricity to a defense plant in Nizhny Tagil. This was reported on November 13 by the FSB press service.

A Russian citizen born in 1997, who is a functionary of a pro-Ukrainian terrorist organization banned in the country, has been detained.

“During the course of the investigation, he gave a confession,” the FSB reported.

He reported that Ukrainian curators promised to pay money for committing a terrorist attack on a substation supplying power to a defense plant and the infrastructure of Sverdlovsk railway facilities. He purchased Molotov cocktail components in Yekaterinburg for the arson.

During his arrest, items for making homemade incendiary devices were confiscated from him. Correspondence with a representative of the Ukrainian special services was found in the Russian's account.

A criminal case was opened against the detainee under Part 3 of Article 30, n. "a" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). By the court's decision, the man was taken into custody.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on November 12, the FSB informed about the detention of a resident of Sevastopol who tried to set fire to a section of the railway near the Balaklava thermal power plant. During interrogation, he said that he was preparing the arson on the orders of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Criminal cases were opened against the man under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempt to commit a terrorist act") and Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state, international or foreign organization"). By the court's decision, the Crimean was placed under arrest for two months.

Islamic Jihad airs video of captured Russian Trufanov in Gaza
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] On November 13, the Palestinian group Islamic Jihad (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) published a video message from Russian citizen Alexander Trufanov, who was taken hostage in the Gaza Strip.

He reported that he had been held captive for a whole year with little water or food.

“I want to remind the citizens of Israel: every time you eat or drink something, remember about us, the prisoners, that we do not have the opportunity to enjoy food and water,” Ynet quoted Trufanov as saying.

He also said that when Israel attacks civilians in Gaza, those who are in captivity also suffer. He called on the Israelis to do everything possible to ensure that the prisoners can return home. The Russian stressed that he really wants to return to his homeland.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, while in Moscow at the end of October, the deputy head of the political bureau of the Palestinian movement Hamas, Musa Abu Marzuk, announced his readiness to release Trufanov and Ukrainian and Russian citizen Maksim Kharkin.

As Marzuk explained, the Russian leadership had previously asked for the release of four of its citizens and two had already been released, as they were civilians. The other two, Trufanov and Kharkin, served in the Israeli army.

Russian citizen Trufanov also has an Israeli passport. He was captured by the Palestinians during the fighting. Marzouk said that he would be exchanged for Palestinian prisoners in Israel.

Ukrainian Harkin also served in the Israeli army and did not have Russian citizenship at the time of his capture by Hamas. His relatives obtained Russian citizenship to speed up his release.

'Ex-CNN anchor Don Lemon says he is quitting X over new terms of service
[NY Post] Flounces! Hissy fit! Oh what will we do without ol what's his name?
Left-leaning former CNN anchor Don Lemon said Wednesday he is quitting Elon Musk’s social media platform X — blaming the site’s new policy for all legal disputes to be heard in Texas.

Lemon — who is currently suing Musk in California after having his show on X canceled by the mogul — claimed the upcoming switch in the terms of service would hamper free speech.

“I once believed that it [X] was a place for honest debate and discussion, transparency and free speech, but I now feel it does not serve that purpose,” Lemon told his 1.5 million followers on X in a video.

X’s new terms of service, which take effect Friday, mandate that all lawsuits be filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas – not the Western District of Texas, where the company is headquartered.

Ten of the 11 active judges in the Northern District were appointed by a Republican president, compared to six of the 11 judges in the Western District, according to Georgetown University law professor Steve Vladeck.

Lemon quoted a report in The Washington Post, which said X’s new policy “ensures that such lawsuits will be heard in courthouses that are a hub for conservatives, which experts say could make it easier for X to shield itself from litigation and punish critics.”

“I think that speaks for itself,” Lemon said, before plugging his YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and Bluesky accounts.

Three Abu Ghraib detainees are awarded $42million for torture they experienced 2 decades ago
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Three former detainees at Abu Ghraib prison have awarded $42million for the torture they faced two decades ago.

The decision from eight person jury came after they found Virginia-based military contractor CACI responsible for the mistreatment of the men at the notorious Iraqi prison.

A different jury earlier this year couldn't agree on whether Reston, Virginia-based CACI should be held liable for the work of its civilian interrogators who worked alongside the U.S. Army at Abu Ghraib in 2003 and 2004.

Yesterday's ruling in Alexandria, Va, will see Suhail Al Shimari, Salah Al-Ejaili and Asa´ad Al-Zubae each receive $3million in compensatory damages and $11 million each in punitive damages.

The three testified that they were subjected to beatings, sexual abuse, forced nudity and other cruel treatment at the prison.

Whilst they did not allege that CACI's interrogators explicitly inflicted the abuse themselves, but argued CACI was complicit because its interrogators conspired with military police to 'soften up' detainees for questioning with harsh treatment.

CACI issued a statement expressing its disappointment in the verdict and its intention to appeal.

'For nearly two decades, CACI has been wrongly subjected to long-term, negative affiliation with the unfortunate and reckless actions of a group of military police at Abu Ghraib prison from 2003 through 2004,' the company said. 'To be clear: no CACI employee has ever been charged - criminally, civilly, or administratively - in this matter. CACI employees did not take part in nor were any of our employees responsible for these disturbing events.'

Baher Azmy, a lawyer for the Center for Constitutional Rights, which filed the lawsuit on the plaintiffs' behalf, called the verdict 'an important measure of Justice and accountability' and praised the three plaintiffs for their resilience.

The $42 million fully matches the amount sought by the plaintiffs, Azmy said. It's also more than the $31 million that the plaintiffs said CACI was paid to supply interrogators to Abu Ghraib.

'Today is a big day for me and for justice,' said Al-Ejaili, a journalist, in a written statement. 'I´ve waited a long time for this day. This victory isn´t only for the three plaintiffs in this case against a corporation. This victory is a shining light for everyone who has been oppressed and a strong warning to any company or contractor practicing different forms of torture and abuse.'

Al-Ejaili traveled to the U.S. for both trials to testify in person. The other two plaintiffs testified by video from Iraq.

The trial and subsequent retrial were the first time a U.S. jury heard claims brought by Abu Ghraib survivors in the 20 years since photos of detainee mistreatment - accompanied by smiling U.S. soldiers inflicting the abuse - shocked the world during the U.S. occupation of Iraq.

None of the three plaintiffs were in any of the notorious photos shown in news reports around the world, but they described treatment very similar to what was depicted.

Al Shimari described sexual assaults and beatings during his two months at the prison. He also said he was electrically shocked and dragged around the prison by a rope tied around his neck. Al-Ejaili said he was subjected to stress positions that caused him to vomit black liquid. He was also deprived of sleep, forced to wear womens underwear and threatened with dogs.

CACI had argued it wasn´t complicit in the detainees´ abuse. It said its employees had minimal interaction with the three plaintiffs in the case, and CACI questioned parts of the plaintiffs' stories, saying that military records contradict some of their claims and suggesting they shaded their stories to support a case against the contractor. Fundamentally, though, CACI argued that any liability for their mistreatment belonged to the government.

As in the first trial, the jury struggled to decide whether CACI or the Army should be held responsible for any misconduct by CACI interrogators. The jury asked questions in its deliberations in both cases about whether the contractor or the Army bore liability.

In the first trial, which ended with a mistrial and hung jury, multiple jurors told The Associated Press that a majority wanted to hold CACI liable.

CACI, as one of its defenses, argued it shouldn´t be liable for any misdeeds by its employees if they were under the control and direction of the Army. under a legal principle known as the 'borrowed servants' doctrine.

Lawyers for the plaintiffs argued that CACI was responsible for its own employees' misdeeds. They said provisions in CACI´s contract with the Army, as well as the Army Field Manual, make clear that CACI is responsible for overseeing its own workers.

The lawsuit was first filed in 2008 but was delayed by 15 years of legal wrangling and multiple attempts by CACI to have the case dismissed.

Lawyers for the three plaintiffs argued that CACI was liable for their mistreatment even if they couldn't prove that CACI´s interrogators were the ones who directly inflicted the abuse.

Evidence included reports from two retired Army generals, who documented the abuse and concluded that multiple CACI interrogators were complicit in the abuse.

Those reports concluded that one of the interrogators, Steven Stefanowicz, lied to investigators about his conduct and that he likely instructed soldiers to mistreat detainees and used dogs to intimidate detainees during interrogations.

Stefanowicz testified for CACI at trial through a recorded video deposition and denied mistreating detainees.

CACI introduced a different report that concluded contractors like CACI did a 'satisfactory' job of complying with military procedures.
That all sounds like CACI plans to appeal the ruling.

Can't Shoot Down, Can't Catch. 'Smart' Russian Drones Put the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a Baffle
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
by Artemy Sharapov

[Regnum] Experts have been saying since the very beginning of the SVO that drones have become almost a superweapon on the battlefield. But the “unmanned art” is constantly evolving: drones are becoming smarter and more maneuverable, and they have begun to be used for tasks that many could not even think of before.

Recently, one of the main problems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been the deadly combination from the Russian army: "reconnaissance and fire adjustment drone plus the Iskander missile system." According to Ukrainian sources, hundreds of Orlan drones are in the sky around the clock over a two-hundred-kilometer zone along the line of combat contact.

At the same time, individual drones have taken airfields, military bases, anti-aircraft defense systems and other key military infrastructure facilities under surveillance. As soon as a significant target appears in the drone's field of view, the data is transmitted to adjust the strike, which follows within 5-10 minutes.

As a result, as a result of a series of missile strikes, the bases of the few surviving Ukrainian Air Force aircraft and batteries of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems were hit.

In many ways, it was the use of missile systems in conjunction with reconnaissance drones that influenced the decision of Kyiv and its Western allies to relocate American-made F-16 fighters to airfields in the western regions of the country.

In addition, the frontline territories were left without air defense cover, which allowed Russian aviation to strike enemy positions with gliding air munitions, consistently knocking out fortified firing points and bases in industrial zones.

Remaining beyond the reach of Ukrainian air defense, the Orlan drones have become a powerful threat to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Kyiv, naturally, has tried to find its own response.

DRONES - DRONE HUNTERS
To intercept large reconnaissance drones, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to adapt small FPV drones. The mechanism of "shooting down" is extremely simple: find the enemy drone and ram it.

This method is extremely cheap. The launch of one anti-aircraft missile costs tens of times more than the destroyed target: against this background, the use of even ten FPV drones to intercept a targeting drone is much cheaper. And although this tactic has already been used by Russian operators, in particular to hunt for heavy copters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces such as the Baba Yaga, a new stage of the "drone vs. drone war" has begun in recent months.

In the "drone war", the parties are constantly looking for new ways to attack and defend, notes Denis Fedutinov , an expert in the field of UAVs and editor-in-chief of the UAV.ru portal, in a commentary to IA Regnum . According to him, one of the innovations was the use of drones as a means of kinetic destruction of enemy drones.

Moreover, the targets can be both reconnaissance and reconnaissance-strike UAVs, as well as loitering munitions. Sometimes such improvised air defense systems operate in free hunting mode.

"Hunter drones are deployed to targets using ground-based detection systems operating in tandem with them. This forces modifications to the drones that the "hunters" are working against. For example, to improve the maneuverability of drones, which makes them more difficult to hit in free control mode," says Fedutinov.

Recently, Ukrainian sources have increasingly complained that intercepting Russian surveillance drones is becoming increasingly difficult. When an FPV drone approaches, the drone begins to actively maneuver and evade the approaching interceptor.

In Ukraine, they believe that the Russians have developed software based on artificial intelligence technologies. As a result, the effectiveness of using FPV drones to intercept targeting drones has begun to decline, which again creates serious risks for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

I TWIST AND TURN, I WANT TO DECEIVE
Artificial intelligence and other modern innovations are certainly fresh and effective. However, no one has cancelled old proven technologies.

Recently, footage taken by official Moldovan services appeared on the Internet. The photos show drones that flew in from Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian sources later stated that it was a Parody UAV. Essentially, it is a dummy drone, i.e. a device without a warhead. It is stated that “dummy” drones are being launched en masse to overload Ukrainian air defense and provide cover for attack drones that strike directly at targets.

According to experts, such devices have been used for quite a long time. Some air targets, which are equipped with additional equipment, operate on the same principle, including increasing their effective scattering area to the indicators of simulated targets. In other words, the operator of the anti-aircraft system will see on the radar not a small-sized "dummy", but, for example, the Geran-2 attack drone or another combat target.

“Such devices can also be used as decoys, forcing air defense systems to turn on, revealing their location, and also forcing the enemy to waste expensive ammunition,” adds Denis Fedutinov.

A similar tactic was used by the Israel Defense Forces back in 1982 in Lebanon against the Syrian air defense forces and assets stationed in the country. And subsequently it was repeatedly used around the world in various military conflicts.

However, the massive use of "decoys" simultaneously with the introduction of software for drones seriously increases the survivability of drones and, accordingly, creates a significant advantage for the Russian army. On the one hand, drones learn to independently evade pursuit, on the other, the Ukrainian air defense is constantly overloaded with false targets. And missile systems can already work on the identified firing positions.

THE SKY IS FOR THE RUSSIAN ARMY
The confrontation between drones and methods of combating them can be compared to a game of chess. Each move of the opponent is followed by a response. But in any military conflict, as in a game of chess, there comes a moment when one of the parties no longer has the opportunity to change the situation in its favor.

In the near future, the war in the air could very clearly affect the situation at the front, military expert Alexander Mikhailovsky noted in a conversation with the Regnum news agency .

"One of the main tasks for drones remains the elimination of enemy air defense and clearing the sky for manned aircraft. In early autumn, Russian targeting drones demonstrated their deadly effectiveness, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to somehow neutralize this factor. But they failed to do so: in the future, we should expect new effective missile strikes, deeper and deeper into the enemy's rear," the expert predicts.

In turn, Kiev's Western allies are aware of the scale of the threat and are seeking to strengthen the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As Mikhailovsky noted, the Pentagon had previously announced the delivery of a large batch of anti-aircraft missiles for the Patriot SAM system and AMRAAM air-to-air missiles to Ukraine.

The US has never announced the simultaneous delivery of anti-aircraft weapons before. It is assumed that the delivery of more than 500 missiles should allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to protect airspace and mitigate the threat posed by Russian aviation. But this will not be possible, the Regnum source is sure , since the Russian Armed Forces have too great an advantage.

Pro-Hamas mob once again terrorizing Paris, being violent with the police and chanting genocidal slogans against Jews
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

They need a firehose to put out the fireworks. With Israeli skunk water would be best, but plain, cold water would suffice to get the message across.
The Times of Israel has reports:
Protests erupted in Paris on Wednesday against a gala organized by French far-right figures in support of Israel. The event, intended to raise funds for the Israeli military, had included Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich among its invited guests, though he didn’t end up attending.

The demonstrations came on the eve of a high-stakes soccer match at France’s national stadium against the Israeli national team, overshadowed by tensions around Israel’s wars against the Hamas and Hezbollah terror groups. Authorities in Paris announced that more than 4,000 police officers and 1,600 stadium staff would be deployed for the game.

Smotrich, a vocal advocate of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, had been expected to attend Wednesday’s gala, dubbed “Israel is Forever,” which was planned by an association of the same name. The group’s stated goal is to “mobilize French-speaking Zionist forces.”

After days of growing criticism of the event, Smotrich’s office confirmed Wednesday that the minister would not travel to Paris to participate.

But the invitation to Smotrich drew sharp criticism from local associations, unions and left-wing political parties, prompting two protests in the French capital. The minister, a hardline leader, has been promoting far-reaching settlement plans in the West Bank and drew international condemnation this week by saying he hopes the election of Donald Trump in the US would clear the way for Israeli annexation of the West Bank — a step that would likely extinguish Palestinian statehood dreams.

The French Foreign Ministry called Smotrich’s remarks “contrary to international law” and counterproductive to efforts to reduce regional tensions.

Critics also pointed at Nili Kupfer-Naouri, president of the “Israel is Forever” association, who sparked outrage in 2023, after the Israel-Hamas war started, when she tweeted that “no civilian in Gaza was innocent.” Gazan civilians have been found to be holding hostages abducted from Israel in their homes.

On Wednesday night, several hundred protesters marched through central Paris, denouncing the event as a “gala of hatred and shame.”

“Imagine if an association were hosting a gala for Hezbollah or Hamas — there’s no way the police would allow that,” said Melkir Saib, a 30-year-old protester. “The situation is just unfair.” (The EU designates Hamas and the military wing of Hezbollah as terrorist entities.)

Some demonstrators broke windows at a McDonald’s along the route, though the march was largely peaceful.

A separate group, including Jewish leftist organizations opposed to racism and antisemitism, gathered near the Arc de Triomphe chanting slogans against the gala and Smotrich.

French authorities defended the event, with Paris police chief Laurent Nunez stating that the gala posed “no major threat to public order.”

The protests came days after tensions flared in Paris — a massive “Free Palestine” banner was displayed during a Paris Saint-Germain Champions League match against Atletico Madrid last week — and after riots and violence targeting Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam.

ONLY ISRAELI, FRENCH FLAGS AT PARIS SOCCER GAME
French authorities stepped up security ahead of the Israel-France Nations League soccer match in Paris on Thursday, hoping to avoid a repeat of the violent clashes in Amsterdam.

“It’s an exceptional measure, three to four times greater than what we usually mobilize,” Paris police chief Laurent Nunez told RTL radio on Wednesday.

Only French and Israel flags will be allowed inside the stadium, he added.

In a rare move, police will also be deployed inside the stadium. Civilian staff are normally assigned to those roles.

An elite police unit will guard the Israeli team on its journey to and from the stadium and another 1,600 civilian security personnel will also be on duty at the match.

Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau said after the Amsterdam clashes there was never any question the game would go ahead as planned.

French President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Michel Barnier, Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau, Sports Minister Gil Averous, former President Nicolas Sarkozy, and former French president François Hollande were all set to attend the game in a show of solidarity. Israel’s ambassador Joshua Zarka will also be there.

Still, turnout will likely be low, with just 20,000 fans expected in the 80,000-capacity stadium north of Paris.

Israel coach Ran Ben Shimon said he wanted to separate soccer from the “difficult” context as his side prepared to take on France.

When asked about the context in which Thursday’s game was taking place, Ben Shimon said he remained focused on the match.

Passions over Israel’s war with Palestinian terror group Hamas in Gaza run high in France, home to Europe’s largest Jewish and Muslim communities. Reports of antisemitic acts increased by an “unprecedented” 284 percent in 2023, France’s Human Rights Commission said in June, while anti-Muslim acts rose around a third.

Aurélien Bernheïm, co-founder of the Movement for French Jews, a right-wing Zionist youth group, said around 30 of his organization’s members would attend the Paris match.

“But I won’t hide it, many of these young people were scared to go as they had in their heads these appalling images from Amsterdam,” he said.

Walid Attalah, president of the Associations of Palestinians in Ile de France, said the match should have been canceled.

“Russia has been banned because there was the occupation of Ukraine, it was illegal, there were war crimes, but Israel is never sanctioned for what it does,” he said.

Some supporters, however, shrugged off concerns.

“I’m not worried,” said Yannick Vanhee, who leads a French supporters association in Dunkirk. “Authorities have been putting more and more security into these events.”

[DailyCaller] Diesel motorhome sales are set to be halted in several states at the start of next year due to a new climate rule from California being enacted, according to RVtravel.

Motorhome sales are being prevented in California, Washington, Oregon, New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey if the vehicles do not meet certain emission requirements based on regulations from the California Air Resources Board (CARB), according to RVtravel. CARB amended its Advanced Clean Truck regulations on Oct. 24, which require all vehicles over 8,500 pounds to produce zero emissions.

Motorhome owners in the six states will not be allowed to register a recreational vehicle (RV) that is not in compliance with the climate regulation, according to RVtravel.

Dozens detained at pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel protest for defying Amsterdam ban

[IsraelTimes] Demonstrators chant ‘Amsterdam is saying no to genocide’ and ‘Free Palestine,’ days after Israeli soccer fans in the Dutch city were hunted down by gangs of masked assailants

Police detained anti-Israel, pro-Paleostinian protesters rallying in central Amsterdam on Wednesday in defiance of a ban imposed after violence against Israeli soccer fans last week.

Dozens of demonstrators, some with Paleostinian flags, chanted "Amsterdam is saying no to genocide" and "Free Paleostine."

Police in riot gear encircled the group and they were detained and put on buses.

Violence erupted in the Dutch capital before and after last Thursday’s soccer match between Ajax Amsterdam and Maccabi Tel Aviv, with Israeli fans hunted down and attacked by gangs of masked assailants.

Police with expanded stop-and-search powers in the Dutch capital have detained or removed hundreds of demonstrators since last week’s festivities under emergency measures imposed until Thursday.

"We say: Free Paleostine. Stop killing innocent people. Stop killing the children," said demonstrator Max van den Berg, 32, calling on the Netherlands to halt its support for Israel.

Less than one percent of Amsterdam’s population is Jewish following the Holocaust, while around 15% is Moslem, mostly second and first-generation immigrants colonists from North Africa and the Middle East.

Additional arrests were made during rioting on Monday night in the predominantly immigrant neighborhood of West Amsterdam where Moroccan-Dutch youths sympathize with Paleostinians in Gazoo

The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. Should Elon Musk Buy MSNBC?
[PJMEDIA] When Musk bought Twitter on April 14, 2022, we didn't realize it at the time, but it was one of the most consequential decisions of our lifetime.

Think I'm exaggerating? Consider this: Donald Trump
...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down...
's greatest PR homerun during the presidential campaign was appearing on Joe Rogan's podcast. It had nearly 50 million views on YouTube alone — plus millions more on Spotify, viral moments on X, and more.

Appearing on those podcasts helped Trump win the White House.

But in the episode, Trump disputed the results of the 2020 election. Just four years ago, YouTube would've banned the episode for ''disinformation!'' It would've been stricken from existence — just like news stories about Hunter Biden's laptop!

Yet in 2024, deplatforming Joe Rogan wasn't even an option. Why? Because his buddy Elon Musk had his back. Sometimes, all it takes is one leader to buck the tide and stand strong. When it comes to free speech, Musk is that leader.

This quote says it all:

And now he has an opportunity to do something even more outrageous: MSNBC, the loony left's favorite news network, is for sale. Comcast, its parent company, is looking to unload the channel, which (not so coincidentally) also has the oldest median age in cable news: 71.

In the aftermath of a Donald Trump landslide victory, MSNBC's early returns are dreadful: Its viewership has plunged by 54%.

But how much is MSNBC actually worth?

I asked my all-knowing AI assistant (shout-out to ChatGPT) for a valuation. Here's what it said (after a whole bunch of boring stuff): ''With these factors in mind, a reasonable estimate for MSNBC alone could range from $2 billion to $5 billion.''

Which is pocket change for Elon Musk!

Could you imagine the trolling potential of a Musk-controlled MSNBC? Can you even imagine the liberal shrieks of terror when he swaps Rachel Maddow for Alex Jones?

For $2 to $5 billion, I think he'd do it.

And besides, Musk's Super News Broadcasting Company has a nice ring to it.

Do it, Elon! Buy MSNBC!
