[IsraelTimes] A recent airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip killed a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist who participated in the October 7 onslaught, the IDF says.
The PIJ operative is named as Basel Kamel Salim Nabahin.
Earlier today, the IDF said the commander of the rocket unit in Hamas's East Jabalia Battalion was killed in a separate airstrike in the northern Gaza Strip, in an operation that also took out a terrorist who participated in the October 7 onslaught.
[IsraelTimes] Palestinian reports say one of the dead was a teenager; military says they threw explosives at soldiers, who opened fire
Two Paleostinians, one of them a teenager, were rubbed out by Israeli forces in the northern West Bank town of Ya’bad on Sunday night, the Paleostinian Authority reported.
The Israel Defense Forces said the pair had attacked soldiers with explosives.
The PA health ministry identified them as Mohammad Rabi’ Jamal Hamarsheh, 13, and Ahmad Mahmoud Zaid, 20, though the WAFA news agency reported that Hamarsheh was 16.
Clashes erupted when the IDF entered Ya’bad, west of Jenin. According to eyewitnesses and medics, both Paleostinians were shot multiple times in the upper body.
The IDF said soldiers spotted that the pair were carrying explosives, which they hurled at security forces, the Ynet outlet reported. Soldiers then opened fire, killing Hamarsheh and Zaid.
The incident came after last week the IDF carried out a two-day operation against terror activities in the Jenin area during which it said soldiers killed nine Paleostinian button men.
Several suspects were arrested and bomb-making labs were destroyed, the IDF said at the time.
Since October 7, 2023, when the Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... terror group attacked Israel, starting the ongoing war in Gazoo

It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... , troops have arrested some 5,250 wanted Paleostinians across the West Bank, including more than 2,050 affiliated with Hamas.
According to the Paleostinian Authority’s health ministry, more than 718 West Bank Paleostinians have been killed in that time. The IDF says the vast majority of them were button men killed in exchanges of fire, rioters who clashed with troops, or faceless myrmidons killed while carrying out attacks.
During the same period, 41 people, including Israeli security personnel, have been killed in terror attacks in Israel and the West Bank. Another six members of the security forces were killed in festivities with terror operatives in the West Bank.
[IsraelTimes] Emirati Interior Ministry says the men, arrested on Sunday, are from Uzbekistan; trio, reported to have likely been extradited from Turkey, may face death penalty
The United Arab Emirates on Monday published the names and photographs of three suspects it is holding in the murder of Rabbi Zvi Kogan, a UAE-based Chabad emissary whose body was found early Sunday.
Israel has called the murder an antisemitic terror attack. Chabad said Sunday that Kogan had been "murdered by terrorists."
All three men are Uzbek nationals, according to the UAE Interior Ministry — Olimpi Toirovich, 28; Makhmudjon Abdurakhim, 28; and Azizbek Kamlovich, 33.
The images showed the men handcuffed and blindfolded, dressed in blue prison uniforms.
The ministry described the three as "the perpetrators of the murder of the Moldovan citizen." Kogan held dual Israeli-Moldovan citizenship.
The suspects could face capital punishment, according to several Hebrew media reports.
Kogan, 28, who worked in the UAE for the Orthodox Jewish group Chabad, which seeks to support Jewish life for thousands of Jewish visitors and residents in the Gulf Arab state, vanished in Dubai, where he ran a kosher grocery store, on Thursday.
A plane carrying his body landed at Ben Gurion airport on Monday evening, a spokeswoman for the Israel Airports Authority told AFP.
Kogan’s funeral was set to take place at 11 p.m. Monday at the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, following a procession from Kfar Chabad in central Israel, set to depart at 8 p.m.
His body was found in the Emirati city of Al Ain, which borders Oman, around 150 kilometers (93 miles) from Abu Dhabi, Israeli authorities announced early Sunday.
The Ynet news site reported early Sunday that Kogan’s car was found abandoned in Al Ain. It added, without citing sources, that there were signs of a struggle in the vehicle.

Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... assaulted the rabbi and later fled to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... , that report said.
The three suspects were not arrested in the UAE, a Channel 12 report said Monday. The operation to find and arrest them spread across several countries, according to the report.
Ynet reported Monday that they were likely extradited from Turkey to the UAE, without Israeli involvement.
The UAE on Monday stressed "the determination of the competent security authorities to quickly take the necessary measures to uncover the details of the incident, its circumstances and motives, and to harness their human and professional capabilities, expertise and technical capabilities that led to the arrest of the perpetrators."
The Emirati Interior Ministry had announced on Sunday the arrests of three people involved in the killing of Kogan.
[IsraelTimes] The exclusive Oxford Union society, which has hosted US presidents, celebrities and neo-Nazis, again courts controversy this week; its track record on Israel isn’t friendly.
The Union has a track record when it comes to contentious debates on Israel. In 1962, for instance, it debated whether “The Creation of the State of Israel is One of the Mistakes of the Century.” Decades later, the students were still debating whether, as a 2008 motion put it, “This house believes that the State of Israel has a right to exist.”
Oxford University itself is currently in the throes of an election for its new chancellor, with the former Labour cabinet minister Peter Mandelson and former Conservative foreign secretary William Hague the front-runners. Although now largely a symbolic role, the post stretches back at least 800 years and the person who fills it is picked by over 30,000 students, staff and alumni. Both Mandelson (whose father was Jewish) and Hague are strong opponents of antisemitism and supporters of Israel.
Speaking to Channel 4 News last week, Hague said that students at university should “debate the great issues of the time” and “listen to points of view that make you uncomfortable.” When questioned, however, he said that the use of the phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine should be free” in a speech was not a legitimate expression and was antisemitic. “You have to allow, wherever you can, freedom of speech and expression,” Hague, now a member of the House of Lords, said. “Sometimes you have to be generous with those limits, but not practicing or advocating violence.”
The political temperature on British campuses concerning Israel is already high. This week’s Oxford Union debate on the Jewish state seems designed to spark the kind of furor in which, history suggests, the exclusive debating club revels.

A plausible argument can be made that an Oxford Union debate in 1933 (This house will under no circumstances fight for its King and its country) led to WW2.

They can squawk all they want, at the end of the day Hamas will be erased from this earth. Israel can not, and will not, tolerate an existential threat like that on its border.
[IsraelTimes] Prosecution says suspects had ties to senior Hamas leaders and established several arms caches that would be available for use in terror attacks against Israeli and Jewish sites
German federal prosecutors said Monday they had charged four suspected members of Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... , allegedly tasked with sourcing and storing weapons for the Paleostinian terror group in Europe.
Two men born in Leb ...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... , an Egyptian citizen and a Dutch man were suspected of "membership in a foreign terrorist organization," the federal prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
The men "held important positions within the association with direct ties to leaders of the military wing" of Hamas, prosecutors said.
One of the two suspects born in Lebanon, named by prosecutors only as Ibrahim El-R., was said to have set up a weapons storage site for Hamas in Bulgaria.
The names in the Rantburg archives for the miscreants are Abdelhamid Al A., Mohamed B., Ibrahim El-R., and Nazih R. — in case it should happen to come up later.
Established in early 2019, the Bulgarian depot contained weapons, including a Kalashnikov assault rifle, and ammunition, prosecutors said.
In mid-2019, Ibrahim El-R. had "cleared out" another weapons cache in Denmark and was said by prosecutors to have brought a pistol from there to Germany.
Between June and December 2023, all four suspects were said to have set off from Berlin in search of another Hamas weapons store in Poland, but failed to locate it, according to Sherlocks.
Prosecutors said Hamas had long ago "set up underground weapons depots in various European countries in order to keep them ready for possible attacks against Jewish institutions in Europe."
The storage sites were maintained by foreign operatives in possession or European residence permits, ready to be "deployed at short notice," prosecutors said.
Hamas had identified the "Israeli embassy in Berlin, the US Air Base in Ramstein or the area around Tempelhof Airport in Berlin as possible targets," they said.
The four suspects were arrested in December last year. Dutch national Nazih R. was detained in Rotterdam by local police, while the other three were arrested in Berlin.
Germany issued a ban on Hamas activities and organizations linked to the group in the wake of the terror group’s assault on Israel on October 7, 2023, in which some 1,200 people were killed and another 251 taken hostage.

[IsraelTimes] The IDF says it carried out a series of airstrikes across Lebanon against command rooms and other sites belonging to Hezbollah’s executive council, which oversees the terror group’s financial and administrative affairs.
In the past few hours, Israeli fighter jets struck 25 sites belonging to the Hezbollah executive council, in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh, the northeastern city of Baalbek, the Beqaa Valley, Beirut’s southern suburbs, and the outskirts of the Lebanese capital, according to the military.
The IDF says the sites included command and control centers and intelligence-gathering centers, where members of the executive council were gathered.
The command centers were responsible for forming assessments for Hezbollah, for the terror group to “make operational and additional decisions,” according to the military.
The strikes “damaged the capabilities of the executive council to direct and assist Hezbollah terrorists in their attempts to carry out terror plots against the Israeli home front and IDF forces, as well as Hezbollah’s command and control, rehabilitation and information gathering capabilities,” the IDF says.
The executive council, according to the IDF, is tasked with “the restoration of [Hezbollah’s] military capabilities on the day after the war, and is a central support for the organization’s military activity.”
The former head of the executive council, Hashem Safieddine, who was due to replace Hassan Nasrallah as the leader of the terror group after his assassination, was killed in an airstrike last month.
[IsraelTimes] Second Cup Cafe closes two locations owned by Mai Abdullhadi, who was filmed chanting ‘Final Solution’ at a Montreal protest; coffee chain says ‘zero tolerance for hate speech’
A popular Canadian coffee chain announced on Saturday that it had severed its business relationship with a franchise owner who was filmed giving a Nazi salute and calling for the "Final Solution" during an anti-Israel protest in Montreal, Canada.
The protester in question was later identified as Mai Abdullhadi, the owner of two franchises of Second Cup Cafe located at Montreal’s Jewish General Hospital.
Abdullhadi was filmed giving a Nazi salute and chanting, "Final Solution is coming your way, the Final Solution," at an anti-Israel protest on Thursday, as part of a wave of pro-Paleostinian demonstrations that took place in the Canadian city over the weekend.
The company said in a statement that it was closing those locations and terminating the owner’s contract.
It will continue paying staff and plans to reopen under new management, according to the CBC public broadcaster.
"Second Cup has zero tolerance for hate speech," the company’s statement said. "This franchisee’s actions are not only a breach of our franchise agreement, but they also violate the values of inclusion and community we stand for at Second Cup."
The wave of protests in Montreal kicked off in opposition to the hosting of a NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all.... conference in the city’s downtown, as activists protested the Western military alliance due to members’ perceived support for Israel.
According to Canadian media reports, demonstrators smashed windows, burned vehicles, attacked coppers, set off smoke bombs and fireworks, and even burned an effigy of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the protest.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said his government would not tolerate antisemitism after a violent pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel demonstration in Montreal at which protesters burned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in effigy.
The Canadian prime minister was one of several officials to condemn the protest, which opposed a NATO conference on Friday night and after which three protesters were arrested.
It was one of a series of anti-Israel actions in recent days that have led to fallout in the Quebec metropolis, from the shuttering of a cafe in the city’s Jewish General Hospital to the cancelation of an Israeli-made film at a local festival.
The demonstrators, many of whom came from student groups, protested the Western military alliance due to members’ support for Israel in its multi-front war, which began when Palestinian terror group Hamas launched a shock attack that killed 1.200 people and saw 251 seized and taken to Gaza on October 7, 2023. A day later, Lebanon-based terror group Hezbollah started launching drones and missiles at Israel.
Attendees could be seen waving Palestinian, Lebanese and Iranian flags as well as one with the hammer and sickle, a communist symbol. Some protesters held a banner reading “intifada” in Arabic, a reference to violent Palestinian uprisings against Israel in which hundreds of people were murdered in bombings and stabbings in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s.
Elsewhere in Montreal, RIDM, a documentary film festival, canceled the screenings of an Israeli filmmaker’s movie due to pro-Palestinian protests. The film by Israeli-Canadian Danae Elon, “Rule of Stone,” takes a critical lens on Israeli policy. According to a description on the festival website, the film focuses on Jerusalem stone, which is used as the facade for buildings in the Israeli capital. It examines “the erasure of Palestinian history and the gradual exclusion of its people,” and “reveals the contrasts and often invisible violence of its buildings and architecture.”
But the festival has announced that two screenings scheduled for later this week have been canceled. The statement said Elon had withdrawn the film following “consultations by RIDM with all concerned parties,” and that the festival would be changing its submission criteria.
“Danae Elon is an Israeli-Canadian filmmaker whose films have been accompanied by RIDM, and we recognize her personal commitment to criticizing and questioning the state of Israel,” the festival’s statement said. “However, the film’s inclusion in our programming has disrupted our relationships with important partners, including members of the community actively supporting the Palestinian people.”
The festival is the second Canadian cultural event this month to draw pro-Palestinian protest. Last week, the Giller Prize, a prestigious literary award, was given amid a boycott by authors protesting its sponsors’ ties to Israel.
In Toronto over the weekend, a small pro-Palestinian protest featured, according to critics who shared photos on social media, a demonstrator dressed as Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in the moments before an Israeli soldier killed him and someone holding a sign reading “Free flights to Amsterdam,” an apparent allusion to the attacks on Israeli soccer fans that took place there earlier this month. A Jewish political pundit was reportedly arrested after he refused police instructions to leave the scene.
It’s interesting to see who was merely playing political hardball before the election — nothing personal, truly. It will be even more interesting to see which of them President Trump chooses to work with, and which he snubs for cause. A taste:
[WashingtonExaminer] Democrats are putting aside their criticisms of President-elect Donald Trump now that he’s returning to the White House and they want to deliver wins for their voters.
After slamming Trump as a “dangerous fascist” and “wannabe dictator,” some Democrats are looking to find “common ground” with Trump on issues they think he might be soft on.
House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), for example, expressed interest in “working with the incoming administration whenever and wherever possible to find bipartisan common ground to solve problems for the American people.”
Jeffries previously called Trump “a pro-Putin conspiracy-peddling, election-denying extremist” who “lies for a living.”
[Melanie Phillips] In 1970 the novelist Saul Bellow, a titan of American letters, published his masterpiece Mr Sammler’s Planet.
Its eponymous hero is a Holocaust survivor who, in a decaying New York City, sees into the heart of things. A calculated attack on a range of liberal pieties, the novel caused intense controversy. Sammler, and thus Bellow himself, was accused of being misanthropic, racist, sexist, and reactionary.
Not surprisingly, liberal literary America was outraged and affronted. Equally unsurprisingly, the book was brandished as proof that Bellow had "moved to the right". This is, of course, the standard denunciation of irredeemable evil that has sunk countless reputations and careers on the jagged rocks of elite disgust — but is so often instead proof positive of the denounced individual’s clarity of vision and moral purpose.
So it was with Saul Bellow. Sammler is a latter-day prophet, seeing with his one functioning eye straight through liberal hypocrisy to call out civilisational decay.
What now seems all too familiar was all there in the novel — racial prejudice, sexual violence, civil disobedience and a no-holds-barred capacity to give offence, it seemed, to as many hyper-sensitive groups as possible. The premonition of today’s culture wars is striking.
[FoxNews] Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer said while militaries may win the battles, 'it's the economies that win wars'
A top military official with NATO warned businesses on Monday to be ready for a wartime scenario, which could entail adjusting production and distribution lines to be less vulnerable to blackmail from Russia and China.
Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, the chairperson of NATO’s military committee, told attendees at an event of the European Policy Center think tank in Brussels that all available instruments could be used during a time of war, according to a report from Reuters.
"If we can make sure that all crucial services and goods can be delivered no matter what, then that is a key part of our deterrence," Bauer said.
He also said NATO is seeing a growing number of sabotage acts while Europe has seen the same when it comes to its energy supply.
"We thought we had a deal with Gazprom, but we actually had a deal with Mr. Putin. And the same goes for Chinese-owned infrastructure and goods. We actually have a deal with [Chinese President] Xi [Jinping]," Bauer told the group.
The west, Bauer explained, depends on supplies from China, as 60% of all rare earth materials are produced, and 90% of those are processed there.
Also coming from China are chemical ingredients for sedatives, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and low blood pressure medications, he further explained.
"We are naive if we think the Communist Party will never use that power," Bauer said. "Business leaders in Europe and America need to realize that the commercial decisions they make have strategic consequences for the security of their nation."
"Businesses need to be prepared for a wartime scenario and adjust their production and distribution lines accordingly," he continued to stress. "Because while it may be the military who wins battles, it's the economies that win wars."
Bauer’s message comes as tensions between Ukraine and Russia continue to escalate.

[NY Post ht Insty] Discovery is a bitch
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will be forced to open its books and reveal its sources of funding after a defamation suit it filed against a former employee completely backfired.
US Magistrate Judge David Schultz ruled Monday that CAIR’s donors, funding sources — including potentially foreign ones — and any assets owned by the group are all within the "scope of permissible discovery" as part of former chapter leader Lori Saroya’s lawsuit against the controversial Muslim rights group.
Saroya filed a federal defamation complaint against CAIR in January after the group dropped its own lawsuit against the former employee, which accused her of embarking on a "defamation campaign" against the organization, including by implying that CAIR is funded by foreign governments and terrorist organizations.
CAIR alleged that Saroya’s statements — posted on social media, in comment sections and emailed to the group’s supporters — damaged the organization’s ability to fundraise and build partnerships, but it ultimately dropped the lawsuit in January of 2022 over fears that Saroya’s legal team would "demand the names of CAIR supporters who have donated to us."
Jeffrey Robbins, Saroya’s lawyer, described Monday’s ruling as "the mother of all legal boomerangs."
"It’s a very important ruling," Robbins said of the Minnesota district court judge’s order, in an interview with The Post, noting that the ruling is "very methodical, very careful, very detailed and very analytical."
Robbins explained that the order will force CAIR to "turn over evidence about everything from fundraising practices, such as having raised money from foreign sources and concealed it; whether it deceived donors; whether it mismanaged donor money; whether it retaliated against employees or threatened to retaliate against employees for raising concerns about sexual harassment or the like."
The judge noted that "the thrust of CAIR’s allegations against Saroya in the 2021 complaint is that Saroya falsely implied CAIR received funding from foreign governments and terrorists when she stated CAIR accepted ’international funding through their Washington Trust Foundation.'"
Schultz stated that "CAIR points to no public admission that it received funding from terrorists or that it received funding through the Washington Trust Foundation" but "discovery into these matters is proportionate to the needs of the case."
"CAIR has not shown that the burden or expense of the proposed discovery outweighs its likely benefit, or that it unwarrantedly taxes its resources," he ruled.

[JPost] A Fence you say?
Smotrich approves tens of millions of shekels for fence he had prevented under Gallant
Defense Minister Israel Katz announced on Tuesday that he has won a years-long battle to get authority to build a new hi-tech border fence with Jordan to block smuggling, especially from Iran.
An announcement said that the fence, which will include a variety of cutting-edge sensors and cost tens of millions of shekels, would be constructed in "a number of months" but did not set a formal end date.
It was unclear at press time how Katz had overcome the opposition of Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich, who has prevented the idea from going forward in recent years.
Former IDF central commander Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yehuda Fuchs had pushed for the fence for a long time, even sending a formal letter of warning to IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi about the dangers of failing to build a fence, before retiring.
However, simply the fact that Katz has entered into office and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have wanted him to get a quick win to move the narrative on from Katz’s recently fired and highly-respected predecessor, Yoav Gallant, could have been a factor.

[Regnum] The Russian Foreign Ministry has information about the shooting of civilians in the city of Selidovo in the Donetsk People's Republic by Ukrainian soldiers. The "shock content" will subsequently be presented at meetings of various international organizations, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik said on November 25.
"We will definitely demand some actions from them. Another important direction is that we will provide these data to those countries that are ready to adequately perceive the facts related to Kiev's violation of international humanitarian law. Thank God, there are quite a lot of them," the diplomat commented in a conversation with TASS.
Miroshnik emphasized that the Ukrainian military indiscriminately shot civilians they encountered on the streets of Selidovo. The stories of this from the evacuated townspeople are being recorded. The Ukrainian Armed Forces, apparently having fun, opened fire even on townspeople coming to get water, Miroshnik added. It is known that people were also shot in their homes.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on October 29, Russian troops liberated Selydove from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The city is located 40 km northwest of Donetsk and is of great strategic importance, since Selydove was home to one of the largest Ukrainian fortified areas.
Russian security forces noted that Ukrainian soldiers mined houses and social infrastructure facilities while fleeing the city. They also left behind caches of weapons that they wanted to use for sabotage and terrorist purposes.
According to a local resident, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot a woman in the knees and left her to die before retreating from Selydove. Ukrainian soldiers, he added, also killed six of his acquaintances who were pumping water for people. Their bodies were found on the street near five-story buildings. Other civilian corpses lay on the boulevard.
Militants from Ukrainian formations, including Polish mercenaries, began shooting civilians in Selidovo in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) two days before the Russian Armed Forces arrived in the city. An eyewitness to the incident reported this on November 25.
Resident of Selidovo: Ukrainian Armed Forces and mercenaries began shooting people before the arrival of the Russian Armed Forces
"There were Poles from Ukraine, maybe some punitive troops. I don't know what orders they were working under, but they all had the same uniform. Literally in two days they started killing people. Maybe they felt that Russian troops were coming in," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying in a conversation with the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large for Crimes of the Kiev Regime Rodion Miroshnik.
According to an eyewitness, Ukrainian militants entered apartments where they shot families with children, pensioners and women, after which the bodies of the dead lay on the street until the arrival of Russian troops.
"It was only later that they allowed the bodies to be buried. These (militants of the Ukrainian formations. - Ed.) did not allow it. People were basically afraid to go out [on the street]," he added.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, earlier on November 25, Miroshnik said that the Ukrainian army had arranged a "bloodbath" in Selydove, trying to repeat the provocation in Bucha. According to him, evacuated residents of the city told about dozens of civilians killed by Ukrainian soldiers on the streets of the city.
Before this, an eyewitness said that Ukrainian militants killed and burned five members of his family in Selidovo. The man managed to escape because he left his house at that moment.
A resident of Selidovo reported on November 22 that a Ukrainian plane had carried out an airstrike on a nine-story residential building, which burned down completely. According to him, "bad, lawless" actions by Ukrainian troops were taking place in the city.
On October 29, the Central Group of Troops of the Russian Armed Forces liberated Selidovo. Earlier that day, the settlements of Gornyak, Dobrovolye, and Katerinovka were liberated in the DPR.

[REGNUM] November 25 is the Day of the Russian Military Peacekeeper. The holiday was established by decree of President Vladimir Putin in 2016. It is dedicated to the date when Soviet servicemen first took part in the UN peacekeeping mission in the Middle East: November 25, 1973, during the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The main task of peacekeepers is described by the term itself - to create, that is, to build, peace. Peacekeepers are involved in operations in different regions, and their methods of work vary - from observation and patrolling to military demonstrations and blockades. Peacekeepers often take control of the demarcation line of the opposing sides, as well as ensure law and order in the territory and prevent humanitarian disasters.
Russian peacekeepers worthily represent Russia as a guarantor of peace. They, including at the cost of their own lives, made a huge contribution to the prevention of military conflicts, restrained aggressive actions of the parties in different regions of the world.
Russian peacekeepers participated in operations in Yugoslavia, South Ossetia, Transnistria, Tajikistan, Nagorno-Karabakh, Angola and the Central African Republic. At the same time, if we take into account the activities of military observers who do not have the right to carry weapons, the geography of participation of Russian military peacekeepers will be much wider.
IMPORTANT ROLE
Modern Russian peacekeepers are the successors of glorious military traditions. Their common history began in 1973, when Soviet Army servicemen arrived as part of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Suez Canal Zone to monitor the ceasefire.
The Soviet mission accomplished its main task: after the UN resolution, military actions in Sinai ceased. Later, two disengages occurred: Israeli troops left the western bank of the Suez Canal, and in 1975 a buffer zone was formed.
In July 1992, Moldova and Russia signed an agreement to settle the conflict in Transnistria. Six battalions of Russian peacekeepers were brought into the region – more than 3,000 people.
At the moment, the conflict is frozen, the peacekeeping mission continues. In addition to peacekeepers from Transnistria and Moldova, the joint forces include more than 400 Russian soldiers. During their service to prevent mass bloodshed in the region, 21 Russian soldiers were killed.
In June 1994, by decision of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS, more than 1.8 thousand Russian peacekeepers were introduced into Abkhazia. The basis for the start of the operation was the "Agreement on a Ceasefire and Separation of Forces", which was signed in Moscow by the parties to the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict.
The Russian contingent became the backbone of the CIS peacekeeping force. As in South Ossetia, the mission continued until the 2008 war. During the conflict, Russian troops lost more than 70 people killed.
Russian peacekeeping forces also played an extremely important role in the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. In September 2023, the Azerbaijani armed forces began shelling the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry called it a local anti-terrorist operation against illegal Armenian armed formations.
On September 20, the NKR information center reported that an agreement on a ceasefire had been reached, which was confirmed in Yerevan. The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the parties managed to reach an agreement with the mediation of the Russian peacekeeping command.
“Russian peacekeepers are leaving Karabakh, having fulfilled their task: maintaining peace in the region, protecting the civilian population, including sometimes at the cost of their own lives,” wrote Russian political scientist Alexei Mukhin.
THE WEST CHOSE WAR
It is important to note that, unlike Western military forces, Russian peacekeepers conduct their operations only within the framework of international law and under the auspices of international organizations, rescuing civilians and protecting global stability.
Russia also always advocates a peaceful solution. But the West's position does not allow the conflict in Ukraine to be ended, and the ongoing provocations are aimed at disrupting peace talks.
Vladimir Putin regularly emphasizes that Russia is ready to resolve conflicts through dialogue, but Western countries adhere to a radical point of view and do not want to hear reasonable arguments. At the same time, they pump the Kiev regime with money and military equipment.
By the beginning of 2023, foreign countries and international organizations had provided Kyiv with assistance in the amount of over $150.8 billion. Almost a third of this amount, $48.5 billion, was allocated for Ukrainian military needs. In fact, the total volume of Western aid to Ukraine since the beginning of the Second World War has exceeded its budget for 2022 by 2.7 times — $55.5 billion. And military aid to Kyiv accounts for 94.9% of Russia's defense spending.
These figures clearly show who really wants peace and who does not need peace.

[REGNUM] The Verkhovna Rada is currently working on a bill that would prohibit speaking Russian in Ukrainian schools even during breaks. Relatively recently, in October, this measure to discriminate against "Russian speakers" was supported by the Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi. This is another step in the de-Russification of the historical lands of Russia - and it is entirely expected. Judging by the statement of the language ombudsman of Ukraine Taras Kremin, the Kiev authorities consider fellow citizens who speak Russian "collaborators".
The fight against the supposedly hostile "Ukrainian" language of Pushkin, Tolstoy, Gogol and Akhmatova did not begin in 2022 or 2014. Mikhail Bulgakov attested to the fact that the capture of Kiev by Petliurites in 1919 was accompanied by conversations along the lines of "they will strictly guard against the Moscow language". Less well known is the recollection of another writer, Vladimir Belyaev : when the UPR army entered his native Kamyanets-Podilskyi, the first thing they did was " they banned the study of Russian in the gymnasium, general history was immediately abolished, and instead we began to study the history of only Ukraine."
The "scientific basis" for the eradication of "Muscovite" became the ideas of the author of the "History of Ukraine-Rus" Mykhailo Hrushevsky (who managed to be both the chairman of the Central Rada and a Soviet academician) about the original difference between the two peoples. Ukrainians, they say, by blood, soil and language inherit "Kievan" Rus, and Great Russians are nothing more than Finno-Ugrians mixed with Slavs.
But the roots of this historical and linguistic Russophobia must be sought in the century before last.
GRIEF FROM CHATSKY
The 19th century became a time of active emergence and opposition of the so-called “Ukrainianism” and the concept that was prevalent at that time about the triune Russian people, once divided as a result of the Mongol invasion and the seizure of land by foreign and infidel peoples.
The developing “Ukrainianism”, having turned into separatism, required not only a separate history, based on the idea of eternal “enslavement and oppression by the Poles, and then by the Muscovites”, but also the codification of a completely separate language. Which, at best, is part of the same Eastern European subgroup of the Slavic language group as the “Muscovites”, but otherwise has little in common with the language of the “colonizers”.
Particularly zealous was the associate professor of the Imperial Kiev University, a broad-based humanities scholar (but to a greater extent a politician) Mikhail Dragomanov - he, among other things, claimed that the Ukrainian nation descends directly from the ancient Slavic tribe of Polyans.
If you dig deeper, you will find traces of the seemingly eternal enslavers and oppressors – the Poles – in the cultural and linguistic “Ukrainianism”.
"The very use of the words "Ukraine" and "Ukrainians" in literature was first introduced by them (the Poles)," noted historian Nikolai Ulyanov in his book "The Origin of Ukrainian Separatism ". " It is already found in the works of Count Jan Potocki. Another Pole, Count Faddey Czacki, then embarked on the path of racial interpretation of the term "Ukrainian".
Both scientists and ideologists spread their ideas at the beginning of the 19th century. But the Polish trace extends further into the depths of the centuries. According to Ulyanov, “the Poles, in fact, can rightfully be considered the fathers of the Ukrainian doctrine – it was laid down by them back in the era of the Hetmanate,” that is, in the 17th–18th centuries.
According to this logic, three or four hundred years ago in "Ukraine-Rus" they spoke "ancient Ukrainian language", the old Ukrainian language. But is this so? Was the Little Russian dialect different from the Great Russian dialect in the 17th century to constitute a separate language?
In this matter, it is better to trust not the opinions of practicing ideologists (even with professorial degrees), but the primary sources.
"BELARUSIAN LETTER" FROM CALL SIGN DZIK
The archives of Russia and Ukraine have preserved a sufficient number of documents from the 17th century, to which both people from central Russia and Little Russians contributed. This allows us to make a simple comparison of a number of words and phrases. Let us turn to these documents.
For example, on March 21, in the year 7160 from the creation of the world (1652 AD), a large party of settlers arrived in the Russian city of Putivl, led by the Chernigov colonel Ivan Dzinkovsky (nicknamed or, as they would say now, “with the call sign” Dzik).
The Cossacks from the elders kissed the cross in allegiance to Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, while the rest of the Cossacks with their families remained standing near Putivl, awaiting the Tsar's decision on the place of their settlement in the Russian state. Centurions were sent to Moscow as petitioners. They brought a petition written in "Belarusian script". This is what "sheets" (documents) from the Western Russian lands under the rule of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth were called in the Russian state. This concerned not only White Russia proper, but also Little Russia.
The petition has been preserved in two documents: the original and its Russian translation.
The original read:
"We have come to your Tsar's name, so that we may bow to you, the great Tsar, on behalf of all of us. We ask you, great Tsar, Prince Alexei Mikhailovich, to have mercy on us, your serfs, and grant us, where to tarry... Have mercy on us, grant us to tarry in the Zavoditskoye settlement, for if, great Tsar, you grant it somewhere far away, then all will not be collected, that there are many good and bad, who have little on which to travel...".
For the sake of purity of the experiment, let us translate this text into modern Ukrainian:
“We have come to your Tsar’s name, so that you, the great Tsar, may strike us with our heads. We ask you, Great Tsar, Prince Oleksiy Mikhailovich, have mercy on us, let us stop procrastinating... Have mercy on us, let us live in the ancient settlement of Zavoditsky, since the great Tsar is far away, then we won’t be able to collect all the fragments of so many poor people, who have no idea why they should go...”
Now let's compare: "prishili" - "priyshili", "tebe" - "tobi", "cheloim" - "cholom", "bo esli" - "yakshcho", "dash" - "dasi", "mnogo" - "gahato", "kotorye" - "kotry", "eat" - "ihati". The original text of the "Belarusian letter" requires an explicit translation into modern Ukrainian. But there are many more coincidences with the supposedly "Finno-Ugric" Great Russian language.
A CRIMINAL EPISODE FROM THE KHMELNITSKY WAR
Let us consider another curious document preserved in the list from the “Belarusian letter”.
On July 14, 1652, from the Russian border town of Oleshny, the governor Danilo Koptev wrote to his superiors, the governors of the town of Yablonov, Grigory Kurakin and Nikita Naumov, about an unusual incident.
From neighboring Lithuania, from the city of Grun-Cherkassky, a message came from a certain Timosh Korsunets, a centurion in the army of Bohdan Khmelnitsky, written in the same “Belarusian letter”.
Let us clarify right away: the town of Grun, then a border outpost of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, has nothing to do with modern Lithuania. Now this village is in the Sumy region. But in the 17th century, the toponyms and ethnonyms we are accustomed to “floated”. In the Little Russian Poltava or Kamenets-Podolsky, clerks wrote papers “in Belarusian” (that is, in the Western version of the Russian literary language, which was in use in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania), and the Cherkass Cossacks who came from the banks of the Dnieper, subjects of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, could be called “Lithuanian people”.
Thus, the "Lithuanian" Cossack centurion Timosh Korsunets wrote about the detention of Russian service people ("Muscovites"), residents of Oleshnya, in the town of Grun-Cherkasskaya. Even the names of those detained are known - the boyar children Kornei Kutepov, Petrushko Perenosov, Ivashko Volzhin.
The voivode of Oleshnya, Danilo Koptev, had previously sent this trio to extract salt at the Torskie Lakes (in the area of modern Slavyansk in the DPR). Kutepov, Perenosov and Volzhin returned not through the steppe, but through the territory of Lithuania - fortunately, there was no border in the modern sense on the frontier between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Russian state.
In Grunya-Cherkasskaya, the trio had a domestic row, as a result of which one of the “defendants” stabbed the other in the throat, but did not kill him.
Something had to be done with the Russians who were stuck in Lithuania during the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi uprising. And so the voivode of Oleshny, not having the authority to resolve such issues, wrote a letter to the "higher" rank voivode of Yablonov.
The original looks like this:
"By the grace of God, the great Sovereign Tsar and Grand Duke Alexei Mikhailovich, Autocrat of all Russia and Sovereign and ruler of many States, His Royal Majesty, I wish you good health, Danila Vasilevich, Voivode of Oleshensky. And I will take from you also your Muscovites from Oleshensky, who were called by the name of Yashko, who were from Kuzemin, and who beat their comrade, Korney Vasilyevich, on our field, with a blow to the throat."
If we translate the text into the modern “state language”, we get the following:
“By the grace of God the great Sovereign Tsar and Grand Duke Oleksiy Mikhailovich of all Russia, the autocracy and rich powers of the Sovereign and Volodar of his Tsarist Majesty, Danil Vasilyovich, Voivode Oleshansky, I pray to you Good health, and I inform you that your Oleshansk Muscovites, whom you call Yashka, went from Kuzemin, and beat their comrade in the field, named Korniy Vasilyovich, with a knife in the throat.”
And here's what happens if we bring the text closer to modern Russian:
“By the grace of God, the great Sovereign Tsar and Grand Duke Alexei Mikhailovich, Autocrat of all Rus' and Sovereign and ruler of many States, His Royal Majesty, Danila Vasilyevich, the Oleshany voivode, I wish you good health and inform you that your Oleshany Muscovites, whom you call Yashka, were traveling from Kuzemin and beat their comrade named Kornei Vasilyevich in the throat with a knife on our field.”
Among the differences in the translation of the original text of the 17th century into modern Ukrainian, we see the following: "many" - "bagat'yokh", "states" - "states", "owner" - "volodary", "greatness" - "velichty". That is, again, we cannot do without "translation" into the Ukrainian language - from a language close to modern Russian.
A CHARMING LETTER FROM BOYAR BRYUKHOVETSKY
Of particular interest is the letter (“sheet”) of the boyar and hetman Ivan Bryukhovetsky, who betrayed his cross-kissing promise to the Russian tsar and raised an uprising in Little Russia in February 1668.
Along with active actions to exterminate Russian service people in the cities of Little Russia, the traitor hetman tried to spread the uprising to neighboring Russian districts - to Slobozhanshchina. For this purpose, the hetman sent "charming sheets" from the city of Gadyach to the Cherkassians of the tsarist Sloboda cities.
A "charming letter" to the city of Oleshnya, written in February 1668 in Gadyach, at the height of the uprising, has been preserved. The residents of Oleshnya reacted coldly to the calls of the rebellious Cossacks of Bryukhovetsky to join the rebellion. And the "extremist literature" - a charming letter from the rebellious hetman - was sent to Moscow for study in the then "relevant authorities".
The letter is of interest not only as a witness to the events of the rebellion in Little Russia, but also as a monument of "Belarusian writing". Thus, in it Bryukhovetsky uses the term "Little Russia" together with the term "Ukraine": " Their faithful Orthodox in Ukraine, Little Russia, are delaying."
This testifies to the quite conscious use of the term "Little Russia" by the Cossacks themselves in the middle of the 17th century, even when Moscow did not demand it. The rebellious Cossacks also use the disparaging term "Muscovites" in relation to Russian people, augmenting it with the biblical epithet "Cain's" (from Cain's brother): "Mestechka, Brovary, Gogolev, and Voronkov from Kaev's Muscovites were brought to ruin."
It is interesting that the traitor hetman Bryukhovetsky clearly makes a distinction between the Hetmanate (the then “gray zone” between Russia and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth) and the Russian Slobozhanshchina:
"To put to the sword and turn into a Nevets, as if in those Ukrainian and Sloboda places there were wild fields.”
Overall, the letter was meant to make the target audience (the Cherkassians) fear for their lives, calling for belief in the “bad” and “dangerous” treaty between the Poles and Russians that took place in Andrusov in January 1667, where the hetman and the Cossacks… were simply not invited.
Here is an excerpt from the text of the “charming letter”:
"The all-merciful Lord God, who did not give His faithful Orthodox Christians in Ukraine, Little Russia, to the sluggishness of the enemy, and through His Holy Spirit to work on the evil intentions of the Muscovite and Polish enemies, gave us and all the faithful Zaporozhye army knowledge... Ukraine, our dear fatherland, and all the Christians in the sluggish Slobodsk towns to be sent to the sword in different ways and turned into Nevets, so that supposedly in those Ukrainian and Slobodsk places there were wild fields... however, with God's help... He drove them out and frightened them."
This is what the reading of the text written in "Belarusian script" looks like. And here is the translation of the same fragment into literary Ukrainian:
“The all-merciful Lord God, having not given his faithful Orthodox Christians in Ukraine and Malaya Russia procrastinating Christians, to the enemies and to work through his Holy Spirit about the evil spirit of the witch of Moscow and Lyadsky, to us and to all the faithful Vysku Zaporizkiy give... Ukraine, our beloved country and all Christians in Slobidsky towns, who live in different ways, are put under the sword and brutalized into captivity, so that in these Ukrainians Slobidsky In some places there were wild fields... but with the help of God we drove them away and the evil ones.”
Here we again see significant differences and the need to translate the 17th century text into modern Ukrainian: “faithful” — “faithful”, “one’s own” — “one’s own”, “Ukraine” — “Ukraine”, “in the outrage” — “in the outrage”, “enemy” — “sorcerer”, “vedaty podal” — “vidaty podal”, “gorodki” — “mistek”, “in different ways” — “in different ways”, “wild fields were” — “wild fields were”, “drove out” — “vignav”, “frightened” — “frightened”.
DOTTING THE "Y"S
In all the documents cited, written in the mid-17th century in Little Russia (Hetmanate), we see — on the one hand — differences with the Great Russian language of that time. There are frequent replacements of the Russian "И" with "Ы" in the same words, and we see obsolete common Slavic forms. Note that in the modern Ukrainian alphabet, unlike the Russian, there is no "Ы" at all.
The text itself is written in Cyrillic, but has undergone significant stylization in the writing of letters to resemble the Latin alphabet.
But on the other hand, the text was understood by a Russian person of the 17th century without much adaptation, it was only necessary to be able to read the Latinized Cyrillic letters of the "Belarusian script". This is, in general, a simple operation, it is enough to get used to the abundance of "Ы".
And at the same time, texts written in “Belarusian script” in the 17th century require mandatory translation into modern Ukrainian; the differences between them are very noticeable.
This is evidence of much greater changes that the Russian language underwent in the southwestern lands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth before it turned into the modern "mova". The same cannot be said about the modern Russian language, which has not undergone such significant changes since the 17th century. The "mova" of Ivan Kotlyarevsky or Taras Shevchenko is certainly the heir of the "Belarusian script", but perhaps the living Great Russian language can also call itself a heir with greater justification.
The modern "mova", built on the precepts of the Austro-Hungarian Galician Ukrainophiles, as well as Dragomanov and Grushevsky, is a political project and construction much younger and more artificial than the "Belarusian letter". But they do not talk about this in Ukrainian schools, where they will soon prohibit speaking Russian even in the corridors.

Yeah, yeah. Russia has been threatening to normalize the Taliban government pretty much since they took over Kabul International Airport. They haven’t actually done it yet, for some reason…
[Regnum] During his visit to Afghanistan, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu indicated Russia's readiness to exclude the Taliban movement (the organization is under UN sanctions for terrorist activity) from the "black list" of terrorists. This was reported on November 25 by the Alemarah portal, close to the Afghan authorities.
“Shoigu announced Russia’s intention to intensify bilateral cooperation with Afghanistan, pointing to plans to remove the Islamic state from Russia’s “black list” in order to strengthen political and economic ties in the near future,” the report states following the meeting of the Russian delegation with Afghan officials.
It is noted that Russia has expressed readiness for economic cooperation with the state in a number of areas. Russian investors and state enterprises are interested in such sectors as mining, transport and agriculture.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on October 4, member of the board of the Russian Foreign Ministry and former Russian ambassador to Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov stated that the decision to exclude the Taliban movement from the list of terrorist organizations was made at the highest level, but legal procedures must be followed.
On the same day, FSB chief Alexander Bortnikov noted that Russia was completing the study of the issue of excluding the movement from the list of terrorist organizations. The Russian side considers it expedient, on the one hand, to establish contacts with the Taliban, and on the other, to identify potential supporters of terrorists in the CIS countries, Bortnikov added.
On May 27, the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Justice reported to the country's president, Vladimir Putin, that the Taliban movement could be excluded from the list of terrorist organizations.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called the idea of excluding the Taliban from the list of banned organizations an objective reality. According to him, the Taliban is the real power in Afghanistan, and Russia is not indifferent to Afghanistan.
[NYPOST] A Texas man in a wheelchair said he fought off a feral hog with an airsoft gun after it charged at him and appeared to be ''fixing to mow'' him down.
Longtime Houston resident Carl White told KHOU 11 that dog, Moose, started barking to alert him to one of the wild animals, which have been terrorizing the area, even killing pets.
''I was sitting over in this spot and he was coming full speed, looking right at me and fixing to mow me down,'' White told KHOU 11 about the attack earlier this month.
White, who only had an airsoft gun to defend himself, aimed an LED light on the top of the gun at the hog.
''But when I hit that light, it startled him and he turned a 180 right there, so close that I could smell him,'' White said to the outlet.
When the hog turned around again, he fired several pellets at it with the replica weapon— saving him from the animal, which typically has two sharp tusks.
White said he and his neighbors are sick of the feral hogs in the neighborhood and have reported several sightings to authorities for all the damage they've caused to their property.
The gnarly creatures also pose several other risks to the neighborhood, such as destroying crops, uprooting landscapes, and spreading diseases, WIRED reported.

“Joe Biden” is feeling blue. Not a joke. In the lurid sunset of his dwindling term-in-office, the long shadow of his legacy points toward a gigantic glowing cinder where North America used to be. Such are the grievances of the outgoing president. I pass unto you and your legions of white supremacist slobs the ashtray that was once our mighty nation. Fix that! But, as Sir Mick Jagger observed some time ago: you can’t always get what you want. “Joe Biden,” in despair, sinks deeper into his McTeer power recliner and slips back into the bitter dream of his nemesis, a beast named Chrump. . . .
It’s such a chewy name: Chrump, a fricative fiesta! The tongue briefly presses against the alveolar ridge before releasing, then curls back, and the jaw opens slightly to form this vowel sound, the lips close to let the sound resonate nasally before releasing air. Chrump Chrump Chrump. Like, what your mouth would feel like working through a bowl of Froot Loops. So satisfying! The outgoing Party of Chaos can’t stop chanting it on the cable news networks, as if trying to invoke the ancient furies, ghastly, terrifying figures with snakes for hair, dogs' heads, blood-red eyes, and bat-wings, brandishing torches and scourges to mortify their enemy.
Otherwise, fantasy aside, they are in paralysis as this enemy, Mr. Trump, marshals his pieces on the gameboard: Musk, Vivek, Bobby Jr, Tulsi, Bondi, Hegseth . . . . Ay-yeeeeee! They are coming to get us. . . . Somebody. . . do something. . . !
Okay, then, who, exactly, in the shadows behind the half-conscious ghoul in the White House, thinks that now is a great time to commence an ATACMS (Attack’ems) missile barrage on Russia as the very thing to salvage our Ukraine project? You’d naturally turn first to Blinken and Jake Sullivan, those gold-dust twins of overseas jiggery-pokery. Or, is it the geniuses at Spook Central, worried about the fumigating operation incoming with Mr. Ratcliffe? Or perhaps it’s the men-in-skirts over in the Pentagon, seeking to punish humanity because of the clerical error inflicted on them by the desk up-yonder that handles sexual assignments at birth. Blow it all up!

Just, leave it up to the states, and mandate they must meet minimum educational standards. Of course, that means California, Oregon and Washington states students are screwed.
NOTE: Eliminating Dept of Education would only save a mere $90B out of the US budget
Total US revenue: $4.919 trillion (actual) 17.1% of GDP
Total US Fed expenditures: $6.752 trillion (actual) 23.4% of GDP
2024 Deficit alone: $1.833 trillion (actual), 6.4% of GDP
BTW: The O'Biden Reigem felt Ukraine was 10x's ($200B) more important, than the need to insure US future citizens and illegals were properly educated.

ALSO, NOTE: If you take the time to look at the Link provided regarding the Federal Budget. You'll notice a majority of the Federal Dept. requested 10+% more funds in 2024 than the previous year.

[Regnum] Asteroid 2024 PT5, nicknamed the second Moon because it follows Earth for several months, will soon begin to move away from the planet, and then come closer in 2055. This was reported on November 25 by the British scientific news site Phys.
The space object is located at a distance of about 3.5 million km from Earth. Until January, it will continue to approach and will be 1.8 million km away. After that, under the influence of the Sun's gravity, it will begin to move deeper into the Solar System.
The "Second Moon" will approach Earth again in 2055, but by then the object's speed will be much higher, and the asteroid will not be nearby for long. It will make a partial revolution around the planet.
As reported by IA Regnum, asteroid 2024 PT5 was spotted in Earth's orbit in August. Its diameter is 10-11 m. The object is too small for people to see it with the naked eye from Earth.
Scientific Director of the Moscow Planetarium Faina Rubleva emphasized that the asteroid will never be able to become a permanent satellite of our planet. At the same time, the object is currently orbiting the Earth.

[NYPOST] Tens of thousands of professionals left California last year while fewer moved in to the state as the exorbitant cost of living as well as high taxes make it harder to retain talent.
California lost nearly 87,000 professionals last year while just 69,000 relocated to the state, according to a report published by the National Association of Realtors.
The data comes on the heels of a fresh Bureau of Labor Statistics report which found that California's unemployment rate ticked up to 5.4% last month, the second highest in the nation.

The raw data this is the basis for this NYPost article is from the National Association of Realtors. The presumption of the Association is that people who sell houses and buy houses are 'professionals'.
I think the NYPost used the word 'workers' in their title to be more general.

[NAHARNET] Hezbollah fighters and Israeli troops engaged in fierce festivities Saturday at the key south Leb ...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... town of Khiam and in the coastal Bayada area several kilometers north of the border.
The official National News Agency (NNA) reported intense air and artillery bombardment of Khiam, about six kilometers (nearly four miles) from the frontier.
Israel was "attempting to control the town" as it was "a strategic gateway for a rapid ground incursion," the NNA said.
It said Israeli troops had dynamited houses and were "trying to surround (Khiam) from all sides using extensive air and ground cover."
Over the past two days, Hezbollah said its fighters had attacked Israeli troops about 20 times in and around the large town.
On September 23, Israel launched an intense air campaign in Lebanon, mainly targeting Hezbollah bastions in the south and east and in south Beirut.
A week later it sent ground troops across the border.
The NNA said Saturday that on the south coast, "the areas of Bayada and Wadi Hamoul are witnessing violent mostly peacefulfestivities," and also reported air strikes and shelling.
It said Israeli troops tried to penetrate the area in order to encircle the town of Naqoura via Bayada -- "a strategic location" on the coast between Naqoura and Tyre, 20 kilometers from the border.
Israeli tanks have been operating east of Khiam for more than three weeks, with the NNA reporting on Tuesday that the tanks had moved north of the town.

No doubt. Because they were in full-throated commitment to a diplomatic solution, putting stop to Israeli aggression, by about October 10, 2023. Everything they’ve said since has been to push Israel to stop fighting back against those still attacking her.

The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... and urged Israel to improve "dire" conditions in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... , in a call Saturday with his Israeli counterpart.
Austin "reiterated U.S. commitment to a diplomatic resolution in Lebanon that allows Israeli and Lebanese civilians to return safely to their homes on both sides of the border" in his call with Israel Katz, a Pentagon spokesperson said.
A front man for Katz said the defense minister underscored that Israel would "continue to act decisively in response to Hezbollah's attacks on civilian populations in Israel."
During the call, "Katz commended U.S. efforts to facilitate de-escalation in Lebanon and emphasized Israel's commitment to restoring security that would enable northern residents to return to their homes safely," his front man said.
U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein was in Lebanon and Israel this week, meeting with both countries' bigwigs, to try to negotiate an end to the war.
In the call Austin also "urged the Government of Israel to continue to take steps to improve the dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza and emphasized the U.S. commitment to securing the release of all hostages, including U.S. citizens."
[IsraelTimes] Channel 12 sets out what it says are the core elements of the US-brokered Israel-Lebanon deal aimed at halting the war against Hezbollah on the northern front. It says only very minor details of the deal remain to be finalized.
It says the deal provides for:
A mutual ceasefire;
The IDF can stay in Lebanon for up to 60 days;
The IDF to leave as the Lebanese Army deploys;
No Israeli-held border buffer zone in southern Lebanon, and residents of south Lebanon can go home;
The Lebanese government to oversee all arms purchases and arms production in Lebanon;
The US to head the international body overseeing the deal’s implementation; France will also sit on that panel.
The TV report adds that a US side letter will state clearly that Israel has the right to act whenever it sees an immediate threat from Lebanon. The report adds that the US has indicated in recent days that if Israel sees a need to act against threats that can tackled on Syrian territory, rather than on Lebanese territory, that would be preferable.
It also says US envoy Amos Hochstein made clear to Israel that there would be no deal if France were not a member of the international oversight body.
Nothing says “Trust us, we’ve got your back,” like forcing your ally to sign the thing at the point of a gun before President Trump is sworn into office in January.
Channel 12 says there was near-unanimous support for the deal from the politicians and defense establishment participants in last night’s PM-led security consultation. It says unspecified strategic implications were highlighted, as were considerations regarding Donald Trump’s imminent return to the US presidency, and considerations relating to arms supplies.
At that meeting, it says, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the deal would leave Hamas isolated and raise the chances of a hostage deal.

History will — or at least should — see a $165 billion error in revenue estimates as one of California’s most boneheaded political acts.
It happened in 2022, as the state was emerging from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Department of Finance, based on one short-term spike in income taxes, projected that revenues from the state’s three largest sources would remain above $200 billion a year indefinitely.
Newsom then declared that the budget had a $97.5 billion surplus, although that number never appeared in any documents.
With that in mind, he and the Legislature adopted a budget with billions in new spending, most notably on health and welfare programs and cash payments to poor families.
Within a few weeks, Newsom and legislators learned that real revenues were falling well short of the rosy projections. But the damage, in terms of expanded spending, was done.
Two years later, buried in its fine print, the deficit-ridden 2024-25 budget acknowledged that sales taxes and personal and corporate income tax revenues would fall well short of the $200 billion a year projection, estimating a $165.1 billion shortfall over four years.
The past two years have seen budgets with deficits papered over with direct and indirect borrowing, tapped emergency reserves, vague assumptions of future spending cuts, and accounting gimmicks. For instance, the current budget "saves" several billion dollars by counting next June’s state payroll as an expenditure in the following fiscal year.
This bit of fiscal history is important to remember because the twin 2022 acts of overestimating revenues and overspending billions of nonexistent dollars on new and expanded services continues to haunt the state, as a new analysis indicates.
The Legislature’s budget analyst, Gabe Petek, unveiled his office’s annual overview of the state’s finances Wednesday and it wasn’t a pretty picture.
There’s been a recent uptick in personal income tax revenues thanks to wealthy investors’ stock market gains , some stemming from Donald Trump’s presidential victory. However, Petek said, government spending — much of it dating from 2022’s phony surplus — is continuing to outpace revenues from "a sluggish economy," creating operating deficits.
"Outside of government and health care, the state has added no jobs in a year and a half," the analysis declares. "Similarly, the number of Californians who are unemployed is 25% higher than during the strong labor markets of 2019 and 2022. Consumer spending (measured by inflation‑adjusted retail sales and taxable sales) has continued to decline throughout 2024."
Meanwhile, it continues, "one reason the state faces operating deficits is growth in spending. Our estimate of annual total spending growth across the forecast period — from 2025‑26 to 2028‑29 — is 5.8% (6.3% excluding K‑14 education). By historical standards, this is high."
Petek’s grim outlook coupled with the more conservative bent of voters, as shown in this month’s election, present a political dilemma for a governor and a Legislature oriented toward expanding government.
Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas, reacting to the analysis in a statement, indicated that he’s gotten the message.
"We need to show restraint with this year’s budget, because California must be prepared for any challenges, including ones from Washington," Rivas said. "It’s not a moment for expanding programs, but for protecting and preserving services that truly benefit all Californians."
Newsom will propose a 2025-26 budget in January, but no matter what he and the Legislature decide, the structural budget deficit will still be there when he exits the governorship in 2027. It will be part of his legacy.

$165 billion revenue error
...$165,000,000,000.00 is NOT an error. It is a conscious decision. Don't give me this 'oh-we-goofed' crap. You're either incompetent, criminals, or incompetent criminals.
[NYPOST] Rep. Darrell Issa took aim at Secretary of State Antony Blinken ...71st United States secretary of state and a leading light of the corrupt and inept Biden administration. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under the corrupt and inept Obama administration. He advocated for the 2003 invasion of Iraq while serving as the Democratic staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2002 to 2008. He was a foreign policy advisor for the Biden 2008 presidential campaign. During his tenure in the Obama administration, Blinken helped craft B.O.'s policy on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the nuclear program of Iran. We all saw how well each of those worked. After leaving government service, Blinken moved into the private sector, co-founding WestExec Advisors, a lobbying firm... after it was reported that the State Department held therapy sessions for employees who were upset by President-elect Donald Trump ...The cad! Twice caught beating wimmin!... 's election victory.
''I am concerned that the Department is catering to federal employees who are personally devastated by the normal functioning of American democracy through the provision of government-funded mental health counseling because Kamala Harris It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day was not elected President of the United States,'' Issa (R-Calif.) said in a letter to Blinken last week.
The letter comes after a Washington Free Beacon report earlier this month that detailed two alleged therapy sessions that were held at the State Department after Trump's victory, with sources telling the outlet that one such instance amounted to an information ''cry session.''
In another instance, an email went out to agency employees and touted a separate ''insightful webinar where we delve into effective stress management techniques to help you navigate these challenging times'' after Trump's victory, according to the report.
''Change is a constant in our lives, but it can often bring about stress and uncertainty,'' the email said. ''Join us for an insightful webinar where we delve into effective stress management techniques to help you navigate these challenging times. This session will provide tips and practical strategies for managing stress and maintaining your well being.''
In his letter to Blinken, Issa argued that the reported sessions were ''disturbing'' and that ''nonpartisan government officials'' should not be suffering a ''personal meltdown over the result of a free and fair election.''

NYT: A cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah has been finalized, with Iran’s leader, Khamenei, granting Hezbollah approval to proceed. pic.twitter.com/HqL5yR8tRc
Official claims threat of US action at UN played into Jerusalem’s decision-making, and asserts that ministers will get in line behind cessation of hostilities, even if reluctantly
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene the high-level security cabinet in Tel Aviv on Tuesday evening to approve a 60-day ceasefire with the Hezbollah terror group in Lebanon after more than a year of war, an Israeli official told The Times of Israel on Monday.
At the same time, the official stressed that Israel was accepting a cessation of hostilities, not an end to the war on Hezbollah.
“We don’t know how long it will last,” the official said of the ceasefire. “It could be a month, it could be a year.”
A hudna is only supposed to last long enough for the Muslim party to the agreement to rest, refresh, and refurbish its fighters — then they must recommence the jihad. So that’s how long it will last, unless Hezbollah’s gunnies jump thr gun, like Hamasniks are wont to do.
Lebanese sources told Reuters on Monday that US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron were expected to announce a ceasefire imminently.
In Washington, White House national security spokesperson John Kirby said, “We’re close,” but “nothing is done until everything is done.”
Since October 8, 2023, Hezbollah-led forces have attacked Israeli communities and military posts along the border on a near-daily basis, with the group saying it is doing so to support Gaza amid the war there.
Some 60,000 residents were evacuated from northern towns on the Lebanon border shortly after Hamas’s October 7 onslaught, in light of fears that Hezbollah would carry out a similar attack, and due to increasing rocket fire by the terror group. Israel has been trying to enable the residents’ return, including through an ongoing ground operation.
Israel’s freedom to act in Lebanon after the ceasefire is guaranteed by a letter between it and the US, said the official. The Israel Defense Forces will be able to operate not only against those trying to attack Israel, but also against Hezbollah’s attempts to build up its military power.
“We will act,” the official promised.
Israel decided it had no choice but to accept a ceasefire, in part out of a fear that the US administration could punish Israel with a United Nations Security Council resolution in its final weeks, the official asserted.
Israel is also missing capabilities it needs from the US, including 134 D9 bulldozers, said the official.
Meanwhile, a Lebanese official said that Beirut had been told by Washington that an accord could be announced “within hours.”
Israeli officials said earlier that a deal to end the war was getting closer, though some issues remained, while two senior Lebanese officials voiced guarded optimism, even as Israeli strikes pounded Lebanon a day after Hezbollah fired over 250 rockets and missiles into Israel.
According to Channel 12 news, “something drastic” would have to happen for the ceasefire to fall apart before Tuesday’s meeting.
Netanyahu will hold a smaller meeting of close aides on Tuesday morning, including Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and Defense Minister Israel Katz, the outlet reported.
Lebanon’s deputy speaker of parliament Elias Bou Saab said on Monday that there are “no serious obstacles” left to beginning the implementation of the US-proposed truce.
He said one sticking point on who will monitor the ceasefire was resolved in the last 24 hours by agreeing to set up a five-country committee, including France, and chaired by the United States.
Israel had been insisting that France not be part of the agreement or be a member of the international committee that will monitor a deal’s implementation, due to its perceived hostility toward Israel in recent months, under President Emanuel Macron. Macron recently repeatedly called for an arms embargo on Israel, characterizing it as the path toward ending the war, sparking a diplomatic crisis.
Once France indicated on Friday that it would not be committing to the arrest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in the wake of arrest warrants issued against him by the International Criminal Court — only that it “takes note” of the decision — Israel was willing to accept French involvement.
Despite the moves toward a halt to the fighting, both Israel and Hezbollah continued mutual exchanges of fire on Monday.
The IDF Home Front Command issued new restrictions in several areas of northern Israel on Monday evening, given fears that Hezbollah would ramp up rocket attacks before the ceasefire comes into effect.
If the efforts to achieve a ceasefire collapse, said Channel 12, the IDF has plans for an expansion of its operation in Lebanon.
Earlier Monday, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir told Netanyahu to reject the proposal for a ceasefire, calling it “a grave mistake,” though, unlike in the past, he did not threaten to bring down the government if it were approved.
In a post on X, the ultranationalist Otzma Yehudit party leader warned that accepting the ceasefire deal would mean missing out on a “historic” opportunity to destroy the Iran-backed terror group.
He urged Netanyahu to “listen to the commanders fighting in the field… precisely now, when Hezbollah is beaten and longs for a ceasefire, it is forbidden to stop.”
Ben Gvir has been categorically opposed to any deal that would see a cessation of hostilities, even temporarily, in both Gaza and Lebanon, and has threatened more than once to pull his party from the coalition in the event that Israel signs a truce agreement.
The ceasefire would ultimately be approved, said the Israeli official speaking to The Times of Israel: “There are ministers who speak to their base, and we take it into consideration. But Ben Gvir understands the importance. It’s in Israel’s interest.”
The official also argued that a ceasefire would help reach a successful end to the war in Gaza against Hamas.
“What Hamas wanted was support from Hezbollah and others. Once you cut the connection, you have the ability to reach a deal. It’s a strategic achievement,” said the official. “Hamas is alone.”

[Korrespondent] The White House has confirmed for the first time that restrictions on Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes deep into Russia using ATACMS missiles have been lifted.
The talk that the US has given Ukraine permission to strike deep into Russian territory with ATACMS missiles has been going on for several weeks now. And now, during a briefing on Monday, November 25, John Kirby, the White House National Security Council's coordinator for strategic communications, officially confirmed for the first time that Ukraine has received permission to strike Russian territory with long-range ATACMS missiles.
IN THE KURSK AREA
According to Kirby, the US "has indeed changed the guidance" for the use of ATACMS missiles, and now the Ukrainians "can use them to engage specific types of targets."
"Right now they can use ATACMS to defend themselves in an immediate emergency. And right now, it's clear that this is happening in the Kursk area, in the Kursk region," Kirby said.
He noted that he would leave it to the Ukrainian side to say "how they use ATACMS, how they define goals, what they use them for and how well they do it."
MILITARY AIRPORT
Several Russian so-called military bloggers reported an airstrike on the Khalino airbase near Kursk. According to them, the strike was carried out by eight ATACMS missiles, at least two of which exploded on the territory of the airbase.
Kursk Region Governor Alexey Smirnov announced on his Telegram channel on Monday night that seven missiles and seven drones had been shot down over the region. The governor did not specify where they were flying.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced on Monday morning that the strikes were carried out at night on targets in the Kursk, Bryansk and Kaluga regions, but it named only one specific target - an oil depot in the Kaluga region. It, as the General Staff announced, was hit, and the consequences of the remaining strikes are being clarified.
Before the war, the Khalino airfield near the eastern outskirts of Kursk served both as a military base and as Kursk's civilian airport.
According to OSINT analysts, ATACMS missiles hit not only the airfield, but also the positions of the S-400 air defense system, which tried to intercept the attack.
PREVIOUS HITS
According to media reports, last Tuesday Ukraine struck the Bryansk region with six American-made ATACMS missiles, and the next day used British Storm Shadow systems and American HIMARS to hit targets in the Kursk region.
A Russian command post was attacked in Kursk, resulting in casualties.
In his televised address, Vladimir Putin said that in response to permission from the United States and its NATO allies to use their long-range weapons to strike Russian territory, Moscow struck a plant in Dnepr with a non-nuclear hypersonic ballistic missile, the Oreshnik.

BREAKING: Yemi Mobolade, the Black Mayor of Colorado Springs, just got busted for plotting with the career criminal who staged a hate crime to rig the election by doing a KKK-style cross burning & spray-painting the N-word on his campaign sign.
…Mobolade for prosecution for lying to them about his communications with the suspect, Derek Bernard, but the Biden DOJ refused to follow through. “The initial response from the Department of Justice was ‘we can’t indict the first black mayor of Colorado Springs." - FBI Official.
"The FBI interviewed Mobolade twice to determine his knowledge of the hoax, and Mobolade explicitly and strenuously denied contact with Bernard... The official said there were dozens of messages between Bernard and the now-mayor. The official also said Mobolade was scrolling through his phone as a memory aide during the interview, but that “he was literally skipping over text messages,” not realizing that the bureau had already obtained them elsewhere." -
@lukerosiak
Racism is so non-existent in America that candidates are consistently staging Jussie Smollett hoaxes to influence elections. The Mayor also spoke to Bernard on the phone beyond the text messages. I personally think he knew exactly what he was planning and knew it would help him get sympathy votes. I hope Future U.S. AG Pam Bondi puts Mobolade in jail for lying to investigators & defrauding the public.
Mayor Mobolade came to America from Nigeria at the age of 17, following his elder brother. He is a Presbyterian minister, following in the footsteps of his missionary parents, and founded a missionary church after settling in Colorado Springs after completing his university education. In addition to his pastoral work, he prides himself on being an entrepreneur and businessman, and with his American wife parenting three children.

Remember, the KKK is now owned by a Black family estate, or was around the 1980's.
That's when the KKK was sued and lost in court, and then defaulted on the court judgement. It's name and assets then became the property of the suing parties.

It seems like the hoaxes never really improve with regard to planning. Definitely won’t be needing a episode of Forensic File to break this one down for us.

The “supreme leader” of the Iranian terror state, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, demanded the International Criminal Court (ICC) command the execution of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in remarks on Monday.
Khamenei was responding to the ICC issuing an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and Israeli former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant last week, responding to a request from prosecutor Karim Khan made in May. The court announced charges against the Israeli leaders for allegedly committing war crimes and crimes against humanity during Israel’s ongoing self-defense operations in Gaza against the Iran-backed genocidal terrorist organization Hamas. The ICC also issued a warrant for the head of the Hamas “military” wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, Mohammed Deif.
Khan had initially requested warrants for Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, as well, but both were confirmed dead before the ICC decided on their cases. The Israeli government confirmed Deif’s death in August, but the ICC prosecutor’s office told the judges they could not confirm the claim, so the judges issued the warrant.
Israel declared war on Hamas on October 8, 2023, after the jihadists invaded the country and conducted an unprecedented slaughter of civilians, including entire families killed in their homes, that left an estimated 1,200 dead. Hamas terrorists also abducted over 200 people and extensively tortured, raped, and abused random people within Israeli territory. Iran celebrated the massacre by organizing street parties and fireworks displays in response to the news of the mass killing by its proxy.
The ICC claims that Israeli operations in Gaza to prevent a repeat of October 7 constitute war crimes and potential genocide. The Israeli government vehemently rejected the accusations, calling issuing the warrants an “antisemitic” action.
Khamenei, speaking at an event on Monday, also appeared disappointed in the warrants – because they would not result in Netanyahu’s death.
“The (ICC) arrest warrant is not enough, Netanyahu’s death sentence must be ordered,” Khamenei declared, according to the Iranian state propaganda outlet PressTV.
The dissident outlet Iran International explained that this demand is not compatible with the objectives and powers of the ICC.
“Khamenei’s demand comes as international legal bodies, including the ICC, stand firmly opposed to capital punishment,” it noted. “Khamenei’s demand comes as international legal bodies, including the ICC, stand firmly opposed to capital punishment.”
The ICC was created through the Rome Statute, an international legal document, and thus has no enforcement authority in countries that are not signatories to the statute. It does not have its own enforcement mechanism and cannot legally kill people. Even countries that have signed onto the Rome Statute may not necessarily follow ICC directives. Argentina, for example, announced last week that it would not enforce any warrant against Israeli officials.
“Israel faces a brutal aggression, an inhuman seizure of hostages, and the indiscriminate launch of attacks against its population,” Argentine President Javier Milei said in a statement. “Criminalizing the legitimate defense of a nation while these atrocities are omitted is an act that distorts the spirit of international justice.”
In contrast, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, an ardent leftist, told reporters shortly after the ICC issued the warrant that he would enforce it if Netanyahu visited his country.
“We will abide by all the regulations and rulings of the international courts. This is just who we are as Canadians,” he said.
The Iranian Tasnim news agency quoted Khamenei as declaring that “The stupid Zionists imagine that by bombarding people’s homes, hospitals, and places where people are gathered, they’re the victors. No, no one in the world considers that to be a victory.” Opponents to the existence of Israel often claim that the IDF is indiscriminately attacking Gaza, omitting that Hamas has installed terrorist infrastructure pervasively in civilian areas, using sites such as hospitals and children’s bedrooms to hide tunnels, weapons, and terrorists.
