Rosie Dolly and Jenny Dolly, known professionally as Dolly Sisters, were Hungarian-American identical twin dancers, singers and actresses, popular in vaudeville and theatre during the 1910s and 1920s. Both sisters also appeared in two silent films.
The sisters, Rózsika Deutsch (later known as Rose or Rosie) and Janka Deutsch (later known as Yancsi or Jenny), were born on October 24, 1892, in Balassagyarmat, Hungary. Their parents were Julius (born Gyula Deutsch, c. 1865) and Margaret Deutsch (born Margit Weisz, c. 1874). Julius and son Istvan (later known as Edward, born March 31, 1898) emigrated to the United States in October 1904; the twins and their mother arrived May 1905. As children, the sisters trained as dancers and began earning money in beer halls as early as 1907. Barred for being underage by the New York City stage, they toured the Orpheum Circuit until 1909 when they debuted on the Keith Vaudeville Circuit.
The following year, they appeared in the stage production of The Echo. In 1911, Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr. signed them to appear in his Ziegfeld Follies for two seasons. Their act was a hit with audiences who enjoyed their glamorous personas.
In 1913, the Dolly Sisters decided to try to forge separate careers. Rosie appeared in The Whirl of the World on stage while Jenny teamed up with dancer Harry Fox (whom she married in 1912) in Honeymoon Express. Jenny and Fox also toured the vaudeville circuit as a dance duo.
Both sisters made their film debuts in 1915: Jenny starred in The Call of the Dance and Rose appeared opposite Lillian Gish in Lily and the Rose (later reissued as The Tiger Lady). The sisters re-teamed in 1916 to appear in Ziegfeld's Midnight Frolic and returned to vaudeville where they commanded $2,000 a week. In 1918, they appeared in their only film together, the semi-autobiographical The Million Dollar Dollies
[FoxNews] Symone Sanders, a senior adviser to Vice President Harris and her chief spokesperson, will depart at the end of the year, in a sign of growing turmoil within the office.
Sanders is the second top Harris aide to announce her departure in less than a month. Just two weeks ago, it emerged that Harris Communications Director Ashley Etienne had resigned. Harris has been plagued by poor approval ratings and questions from Republican critics about her competence.

[PJ] Fox News’ November ratings are out, and they spell bad news for late-night comedy...or good news if you’re sick of politically correct narrative-pushing virtue-signalers like Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon. Greg Gutfeld’s late-night show Gutfeld! has beaten both Kimmel and Fallon in total viewers in the 11 p.m. ET timeslot.
Gutfeld! has also taken the title of the number one rated show in all of basic cable television in total viewers, coming in at 1,983,000 pairs of eyeballs tuning in every night.
Gutfeld! beat every show on MSNBC in all categories, including The Rachel Maddow Show, for the first time since its launch. Rachel Maddow is having a dismal November, reporting her lowest ratings all year. Rachel "Rick" Madcow will be stepping down Spring 2022 too...
in fact I think there is room for another right wing comedy TV show - they could do one relatively inexpensively by buying content from Babylon Bee and Genesius, etc.

...former investment banker, Breitbart co-founder, former Hollywood film producer, US Navy lieutenant, chief executive of Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, etc...
—the right-wing media personality turned adviser to Donald Trump turned right-wing media personality again—became the first person in nearly 40 years to be indicted on a charge of criminal contempt of Congress last month after he refused to cooperate with the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection. Now, Bannon appears to be using his criminal case to go after the committee that went after him.
Bannon is attempting to force investigators to potentially expose who they’ve talked to and what they’ve said, peek into secret communications on the committee, and create a playbook for other resistant witnesses, according to several legal experts.
"There's no cost to opposing Congress if you can give Congress a black eye for even daring to ask you questions," said Kel McClanahan, an attorney who specializes in national security matters.
As Bannon faces criminal charges, he’s entitled to the evidence against him. And in a typical galaxy-brain, Bannon countergambit, Trump’s former senior adviser is trying to make some of that evidence public.
According to a Sunday night court filing by federal prosecutors, that includes secret witness interviews by law enforcement and internal communications between House committee staff members. The Justice Department claims this material that, were it exposed to the public, would cause "specific harms" like "witness tampering" or making it impossible to find impartial jurors at a future trial.
In a court filing on Tuesday, Bannon’s lawyers said the government’s argument was "festooned with hyperbole... perhaps designed to score points with the media." That same day, a "press coalition" of 15 news organizations—including Buzzfeed, CNN, and The Washington Post—sided with Bannon and asked the judge overseeing the case to make documents available and reject what it called "this broad gag order."
But while most press coverage of this fight has hinged on the accusation that Bannon is trying to turn this into a media circus or spectacle, some legal scholars say the real intention is to harm the investigation itself. One called it "graymail," a legal defense tactic that’s tantamount to blackmail and has since been outlawed.

Evven people who aren't lawyers know that rule one is "Never ask a question you don't already know the answer to." Also, "Never open a can of worms. You will need a much bigger can to re-can them."

Outlawed, huh? You mean defense by facts and discovery? I know he doesn't get teh actual discovery he would in a criminal case, but he can certainly make statements and requests they'll have to deny/turn down "for security reasons", such as "how many FBI agents were undercover fomenting the disruption? I hear at least 50!"

In what country? ISTR the government has declined prosecutions when the evidence could expose sufficiently important secrets.

[Breitbart] Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents continue to apprehend migrants from a multitude of nations who cross the border illegally from Mexico into Texas. Recent apprehensions include migrants from what Border Patrol classifies as “special interest” nations including East African, Middle Eastern, and Asian nations.
Over the Thanksgiving week, Del Rio Sector agents apprehended migrants from Eritrea, Lebanon, Syria, and Tajikistan, according to information obtained from Del Rio Sector Border Patrol officials. Newly appointed Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Jason Owens tweeted a photo showing the apprehension of a large group of mostly Venezuelan migrants who also illegally crossed from Mexico into Texas.
“We encounter individuals from all over the world attempting to illegally enter our country,” Chief Owens said in a written statement. “Our agents are focused and work hard to ensure that we detect, arrest, and identify anyone that enters our country in order to maintain [the] safety of our communities.”
Eagle Pass Station agents apprehended one female and five males from Eritrea and one male from Uzbekistan near Eagle Pass, Texas, on November 24, officials stated. Eritrea is located in northeastern Africa along the Red Sea. It borders Ethiopia, Sudan, and Djibouti.
Two days later, Del Rio Station agents apprehended two men — one from Syria and one from Lebanon. The following day, Eagle Pass Station agents apprehended a man from Tajikistan.
These apprehensions of foreign nationals add to the 28,111 migrants from more than 50 nations apprehended by Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents in October — the first month of the new fiscal year. November apprehension numbers are not yet available.
During all of FY21, Del Rio Sector agents apprehended migrants from 106 different nations, officials reported.
[Breitbart] The number of migrants apprehended by Border Patrol agents remains at record levels as November apprehensions slightly exceeded last month’s totals. A source operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection revealed information showing the apprehension of more than 160,000 migrants by Border Patrol agents in November.
Apprehension of migrants by Border Patrol agents across the U.S. jumped by about 1,000 from October to November, according to a CBP document reviewed by Breitbart Texas. The unofficially reported apprehension of more than 160,000 migrants in November represents an increase of more than 140 percent over the same month in 2020.
A second, higher-placed source within CBP told Breitbart Texas the apprehension of migrants by Border Patrol and CBP Office of Field Operations in November along the southwest border with Mexico jumped by approximately 10,000 between October and November. This would move the apprehension numbers from more than 164,000 in October to nearly 175,000 in November. These numbers are from unofficial reports and could be adjusted slightly in the final report due out later this month.
The increase in apprehension of approximately 10,000 migrants from October to November reverses the trend over the past few years where the number remained flat or fell during this period. It also marks an increase of more than 100,000 apprehensions when compared to November 2020.
The apprehension of migrants during the first two months of the new fiscal year, which began on October 1, climbed to nearly 339,000. This represents an increase of more than 195,000 migrants — an increase of 135 percent. If the trend continued at this rate, more than 2 million migrants could be apprehended along the southwest border during FY2022.
The Rio Grande Valley Sector in South Texas continues to be the busiest sector in terms of migrant apprehension. The Del Rio Sector is expected to remain the second busiest for November, followed closely by the Yuma Sector in Arizona.
Official reports from CBP are expected around December 10.

Funny thing about the garbage patch is once people started to go out looking for it they decided it was all microplastics and thus invisible to the naked eye. Lacking photos journalists just used images of Manilla harbor.
[FoxNews] Mexico and the U.S. are expected to announce that they reached an agreement to restart the controversial "Remain in Mexico" program that will look "fairly close" to the version during the Trump administration, a report said.
The Washington Post, citing U.S. and Mexican officials, reported that the Biden administration is still ironing out final details. The paper pointed out that President Biden has tried to end the program, but has lost legal battles.
The White House and the Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to an after-hours email from Fox News.
The policy was first implemented by former President Trump and requires asylum seekers at the southern border to stay in Mexico while they await hearings in U.S. courtrooms to determine their eligibility and status.
The policy, in cooperation with Mexico, resulted in court tents being set up along the border in places like Laredo, Texas, where migrants could briefly enter for their hearings before going back to Mexico.
About 70,000 asylum-seekers have been subject to the "Remain in Mexico" policy, known officially as "Migrant Protection Protocols," which President Donald Trump introduced in January 2019 and Biden suspended on his first day in office.
A federal judge sided with the states of Texas and Missouri by ordering the Biden administration in August to reinstate the policy "in good faith."
Proponents of the policy claimed it was an effective program that kept illegal immigrants out of the country and reduced the "pull factors" that draw other migrants. Critics blasted it as a cruel policy that put migrants at risk of violence and led them to subsist in squalid conditions.
Criticism of the Biden administration’s border policies has only sharpened due to new COVID-19 variants and what critics see as a lack of attention from Vice President Kamala Harris, who was assigned to take over the migration issue in March.
[Mil.com] At least 500 families living in military housing in Honolulu woke Sunday morning to find that their tap water had an oily sheen and smelled like fuel.
Residents like Army spouse Hanna, who lives in Navy-owned housing at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, told Military.com she has had nosebleeds and her toddler developed diarrhea over the weekend before she noticed the odor.
Two days later, her family is buying bottled water, hoping someone in charge will bring in truckloads of water and explain what's going on.
"It smells like gasoline, fuel, kerosene," said Hanna, who asked that her last name not be used out of concern it could harm her husband's career. "No one is providing us any relief."
The problem seems largely to be affecting Pearl Harbor and Hickam housing but residents of other areas, like Aliamanu Military Reservation, also on Oahu, have reported odor and illnesses affecting families, including headaches, rashes, vomiting and nosebleeds.
[PJ] Monty Python’s Life of Brian is the most prescient movie ever made, predicting exactly in 1979 the cultural madness you see around you today.
Despite that, the flick was wrongly derided four decades ago by the very people who might find it gob-smackingly funny today.
Life of Brian was vigorously protested during its U.S. release by various groups who believed — apparently without having seen the movie — that it was anti-Christian.
Nothing could be further from the truth. There are only two appearances by Jesus in the movie, one of which is off-screen. The first is the night of Jesus’ birth (Brian’s, too) and what little we see is true to the Bible.
Well, except for the part where the Three Wise Men first tried to deliver their gifts to baby Brian in the manger next door.
In the other scene, years later, we briefly see Jesus giving the Sermon on the Mount. No mockery is made of Jesus or His message.
[Garowe] Several areas in the Tigray region of Æthiopia could witness unprecedented blackouts for the next couple of months, following the destruction of the Tekeze hydroelectric power station, which serves many areas across northern Æthiopia.
On Wednesday, the Æthiopian Air Force bombed the station as pursuit against Tigray Defense Forces [TDF]
...the armed guerrilla wing of the Tigray Peoples Liberation Front, which incorporates Tigrayan soldiers from the Ethiopian army. It is claimed the TDF is possibly as large as 250,000 souls. Surprisingly, their political TPLF masters are Marxists...
intensified in the Horn of Africa nation, with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed personally joining the war front.
Æthiopian map, an investigative war account that is attached to Egyptian experts, confirmed that the Tekeze dam was indeed destroyed by the Æthiopian forces. The substation is located at 13°21'15"N 38°44'44" E, the experts noted.
The destruction comes amid complaints by Tigray forces that the Addis Ababa administration has also cut off-network in the region following the destruction of telecommunication infrastructure within northern Æthiopia since the war started in November 2020.
Getachew Reda, the spokesperson of Tigray Defense Forces, an outfit of the Tigray People's Liberation Front [TPLF] party, also confirmed the destruction of the Tekeze dam, which partly serves in the neighboring regions of Afar and Amhara.
"The dying Regime of Abiy Ahmed
...the 44-year-old is Africa's youngest leader. He won a Nobel prize for democratic reforms and for making peace with Eritrea. A former soldier who once fought alongside Tigrayans against Eritrea, he took over in 2018, following the Tigrayan-led government that had dominated politics since rebels from their region toppled Marxist military rule in 1991...
has in the early morning hours of 30th of November has bombed the Tekeze Hydroelectric Dam," he said. "That the Regime in Addis Ababa will do what it can to destroy anything that could benefit the people of Tigray is nowhere more clear."
Æthiopia National Defense Forces [ENDF] has activated operations against TDF months after losing several towns to the Tigray rebels. In fact, the troops have managed to seize several times following the strategic retreat of Tigrayan forces.
The Egyptian experts also confirmed capturing of the historic town of Lalibela by ENDF and the Amhara regional forces after the recapture of Gashena. The capture is confirmed by the official Æthiopian government including the Office of the PM.
"The historic town of Lalibela has been liberated and cleared off TPLF occupation," the PM office said in a statement.
Also, the ENDF and allies launched a major set of offensives to retake areas in the Amhara region. Among others, Gashena, Arbit, Dubko, Molale, Mezezo, Degolo, Were Ilu, Aketsa, and Shewa Robit were recaptured. The Air Force was also involved in these operations.
On the Gashena front, the ENDF and Amhara regional forces launched large attacks after probing the area over the past week. Breaking through the lines at Arbit and into Gashena. Two tanks were captured, both T-55s.
On the Debre Sina and Shewa Robit front, there is still fighting and the exact territory is contested. The TDF and OLA briefly got into portions of Debre Sina over the past week, but the town is now secured. The situation around Shewa Robit may change, experts said.

The hydroelectric project was completed in February 2009. Its final cost was $360 million, which was $136 million over budget. The dam was Ethiopia's largest public works project.[2] The dam helped to reduce power shortages as Ethiopia's power demand increases.
At the time of its completion, the 188 metres (617 ft) Tekezé Dam was Africa's largest double-curvature arch dam.[3] The resulting reservoir is 105 km² large and it has a capacity of 9.3 billion m³ of water.

[ANTIWAR.com] Once again, the United States and some of its security clients in Eastern Europe are doing their utmost to create a crisis atmosphere with respect to Russia. A key player in that effort is the government of Ukraine. As Ukrainian officials did in April 2021, they are again highlighting allegedly suspicious Russian troop movements near the border between the two countries in late October and early November. Ukrainian leaders contend that such maneuvers might well be the prelude to a military offensive.
Kiev’s propaganda offensive escalated dramatically on November 20 when Brig. General Kyrylo Budanov, Ukraine’s director of defense intelligence, asserted in interview with Military Times that Moscow already had plans in place to launch an invasion by the end of January 2022. He was not talking about a modest border incursion in support of pro-Russia separatists who control portions of Ukraine’s Donbas region either. The attack he was predicting, Budanov insisted, would likely involve airstrikes, artillery and armor attacks followed by airborne assaults in the east, amphibious assaults in Odessa and Mariupul and even an incursion of Ukraine through neighboring Belarus in the north.
Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky soon made Budanov’s prediction look mild by comparison. He warned that Moscow not only intended to seize large swaths of Ukraine’s territory, but that the Kremlin had plans in place to stage a coup to overthrow his government. Zelensky was quite specific about the timetable; the coup was to occur during the week of November 28-December 4.
It would be bad enough if such efforts to generate a crisis were simply a unilateral campaign by a government determined to whip-up nationalist emotions to revive its flagging fortunes. But as it did in April, Joe Biden’s administration seems ready to give full credence and backing to the stance of its Ukrainian client toward Russia. In an April 2 telephone call to Zelensky, Biden "affirmed the United States’ unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression in the Donbas and Crimea."
Another show of hands: Who can identify the Good Guys in Ukraine -- competent, honest individuals who have real authority and wield it for the benefit of the Ukrainian people?

[PJ] Thank you know, the thing God we have jackpuddings like Joy Reid of MSNBC and lickspittle Don Lemon to remind us that our nation is brimming with white supremacy; otherwise, we wouldn’t know. I personally can’t see any. What I have seen are well over 400 fake hate crimes. No racism? No problem! Fake it ’til you make it.
Our bigoted nation just crowned Elle Smith as Miss USA. She is the second black woman in a row to claim the award. Systemic racism must have taken those days off.
The completely objective National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), which has a history of screaming "racist" in a crowded theater, was quick to congratulate Smith. (Save your time. The links I just posted lead to stories of the NABJ crying racism regarding ABC, CBS, CNN, and Fox News. They even whined when MSNBC hired Al Sharpton.)

an abortion opponent and niece of the late Martin Luther King Jr., says she hopes the U.S. Supreme Court revises Roe v. Wade and lets states decide the legality of abortion, much like they individually ratified the holiday honoring her late uncle.
As she tells it, her mother had planned to abort her so she could finish college, but Grampa King persuaded her mother not to, so the whole abortion thingie is a bit more personal for her than most...
During an interview with Just the News after the nine justices heard arguments in a historic case centered on Mississippi's restrictive abortion law, King said she believed the high court was poised to reevaluate the rationale for the famous Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortion nationwide a half century ago.
"Well, you know, Roe v. Wade is really bad law," King told the John Solomon Reports podcast. "There's so many holes in what was decided in 1973 that can easily be refuted today. They didn't know if [a fetus] was really life, they didn't know if it was a blob of tissue, a lump of flesh. Now we know through 3 and 4D ultrasounds very early that that is a human being. There are so many things that had not been considered. They didn't know how damaging abortion is to a woman's body and her health."

[Your News] After an Illinois hospital insisted on administering expensive remdesivir to an elderly COVID-19 patient and it failed to work, the dying man’s life was saved after a court ordered that an outside medical doctor be allowed to use the inexpensive drug ivermectin to treat him over the hospital’s strenuous objections, according to the family’s lawyer.
Ivermectin tablets are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat humans with intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis, two conditions caused by parasitic worms. Some topical forms of ivermectin are approved to treat external parasites like head lice and for skin conditions such as rosacea. The drug is also approved for use on animals.
The costly drug remdesivir has been given emergency use authorization by the FDA for treating certain categories of human patients hospitalized with COVID-19.
But use of ivermectin to treat humans suffering from COVID-19 has become controversial because the FDA has not approved its so-called off-label use to treat that disease, which is caused by the CCP virus also known as SARS-CoV-2.
Critics have long accused the FDA of dragging its heels and being dangerously over-cautious and indifferent to human suffering in its approach to regulating pharmaceuticals, a perception that led to then-President Donald Trump signing the Right to Try Act in May 2018. The law, according to the FDA, "is another way for patients who have been diagnosed with life-threatening diseases or conditions who have tried all approved treatment options and who are unable to participate in a clinical trial to access certain unapproved treatments."
Medical doctors are free to prescribe ivermectin to treat COVID-19 in people even though the FDA claims its off-label use could be harmful in some circumstances. Clinical human trials of the drug for use against the disease are currently in progress, the agency says.

The doctor used by the patient's family in this case had to get his Ivermectin from India, almost certainly because US pharmacies often refuse to fill legitimate medical prescriptions for Ivermectin. These "refusals to fill" get virtually ZERO coverage in the MSM.

In the 1974 M*A*S*H episode "Officer of the Day," Hawkeye has a lot of luck — well, "Lucks." Multiple locals named "Kim Luck" show up at the 4077th for treatment. Jamie Farr (Klinger) cites it as one of his favorite episodes. It likely held a fond place in the memory of the second Kim in the story, played by Richard Lee-Sung. It was his M*A*S*H debut.
Lee-Sung would go on to appear in 11 episodes of the iconic dramedy, memorably as a pushy salesman in "Bug Out," as a creative French horn repairman in "The Smell of Music," and running a craps game in "A Night at Rosie's." For the Texas native, it was a step back in time. He had served in the Korean War.
As one of the "Chosen Few," Lee-Sung fought in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir as a member of the U.S. Marines. Later, he left his hometown of El Paso behind and settled in Los Angeles. There, the man of Mexican-Chinese heritage found work and notoriety in Chinatown.
As a bartender at L.A. joints like Tang's and General Lee's, the bald fellow who liked to be called "Curlee" reportedly delighted customers. He would eventually perform as a comic at General Lee's, according to a newspaper profile from 1975.
That summer of '75, Lee-Sung had landed a role as an ensemble player in Keep on Truckin', a short-lived variety show that also cast young talents such as Billy Crystal and Didi Conn. By that point, he had a M*A*S*H appearance under his belt, as well as guest spots on Kung Fu.
As his star began to rise, he nabbed roles in The Apple Dumpling Gang, Happy Days, The Incredible Hulk and The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries. His M*A*S*H ties continued in the '80s, as he popped up in both Trapper John, M.D. and AfterMASH.
Over Thanksgiving weekend, the MASH Matters Podcast posted an announcement from Richard's son Russell on Facebook: "We are deeply saddened to announce that veteran character actor and beloved M*A*S*H guest star Richard Lee Sung passed away at the age of 91 on August 16th, 2021."
"Those [M*A*S*H] roles were some of his best memories as an actor working with an amazing cast, crew and director (Alan Alda) whom he had the highest respect," Russell wrote. He was 91 years old.

[ColonelCassad] The coup d'état announced by Zelensky on December 1 did not take place.
Announced by Lyashko on December 1, the introduction of martial law did not take place.
The announced fall offensive of the RF Armed Forces against Ukraine has not yet begun.
It never happened, and now again.
Instead, Zelenskiy said today that in order to achieve peace in Donbas, he needs to negotiate directly with Russia.
As already noted more than once, they will not negotiate with Zelensky - it makes sense to discuss Ukraine only with the United States and its European satellites. Zelensky's level is Pushilin and Pasechnik.
The fact that Zelensky does not want to communicate with them will not change this fact. The Kremlin has made it clear today that the position of the Russian Federation is the same - Russia is not a party to the conflict and in order to achieve peace, it is necessary to negotiate with the DPR and LPR.
Zelenskiy can continue to publicly honor the Nazis; this will not bring him any closer to the desired increase in the status of negotiations.
Along the way, the Russian Foreign Ministry, as expected, gave a shock to "friend Recep", stating that Russia was not interested in Erdogan's mediation in the Ukrainian issue. Instead, Erdogan was offered to influence Kiev to fulfill its obligations under the Minsk agreements.
Turkey today also opposed the introduction of sanctions against Russia. Friend Recep continues to pursue an extremely opportunistic policy, wagging between the two camps.
It is also worth noting another remarkable gem from NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg:
NATO considers the idea that Russia may have its own sphere of influence , since its neighbors are sovereign states, is unacceptable , said the secretary general of the alliance Jens Stoltenberg. He also stated that he did not want to return to the world, where "big countries could impose restrictions on small ones."
"The question itself already reflects the fact that should alert us and which is unacceptable - that Russia has a sphere of influence," Stoltenberg said during a press conference, answering the question about the possible admission of Ukraine to NATO and how this might affect relations with Russia.
According to him, this means that Russia is "trying to restore acceptance that it has the right to control its neighbors."
"And this is a world we don't want to return to, a world in which big countries could impose restrictions on what sovereign independent countries could do," Stoltenberg said.
He recalled that he himself comes from a small "country on the border with Russia (Norway)."
"I am very glad that our NATO allies have never respected Russia's right to establish its sphere of influence in the north and that Norway, as a small independent country, should or should not do," the head of the alliance said.
Stoltenberg added that Russia "does not have the right to veto or vote on this issue," and also "cannot try to establish its own sphere of interest."
Of course, as they think in Washington and Brussels, the US and NATO may have a sphere of influence. Therefore, for example, there are no questions about the French sphere of influence in West Africa. Or the American sphere of influence in Eastern Europe. Or the Monroe Doctrine 2.0 in Latin America. It's different.
Because these are not Russian, but free and democratic spheres of influence, which are approved by "civilized countries." Russia cannot have spheres of influence in principle, because, unlike the unique and exclusive United States, Russia is a unique, but not exclusive country to have such spheres of influence.
He was also touched by the message about unwillingness to return to a world where large countries impose restrictions on small ones.
Of course, while such approaches are pressing in the heads of the Brussels characters, the degree of the Cold War will continue to rise, and the threat of a nuclear conflict will continue to grow along with the unfolding race of nuclear missile and hypersonic weapons.
For it is quite understandable desire of Washington and Brussels to live in the old way, but it will not be so - the world has entered a period of transformation of the previous world order and the issue of redistribution of spheres of influence is one of the most pressing issues of international politics, even if someone continues to pretend that all this is in past. This is the present and future of the modern world order.

This harks back to Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky's plead to the west in the 1990s that Russia should have south Asia as its sphere of influence, while the USA has Latin America.

The notion that the Russian-speaking regions east of the Dniester River are somehow not part of Russia's sphere of interest is ludicrous. That's like saying Brownsville is a casualty of 'Yankee imperialism.'
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] The early November bail hearing of Darrell Brooks ...racist would-be rapper, actual wife beater and career criminal, responsible for the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre... , the man who prosecutors say plowed his car into the Waukesha Christmas parade on November 21, is reportedly gone from records due to "technical issues." Technically, somebody deleted it. Wonder who it coulda been?
On November 5, just 16 days before prosecutors say Brooks killed 6 and injured more than 60, Court Commissioner Cedric Cornwall set his bail at an "inappropriately low" amount of $1,000 in a court hearing that has been lost to time, Fox 6 has learned.
When Fox 6 Investigators asked for a record of that November 5 bail hearing, they were told by a court commissioner that "there are no recordings" due to "technical issues."
"Well, it's very frustrating," said State Rep. Scott Allen, Waukesha. "It's sort of unbelievable in many respects." Yeah. Epstein committed suicide too.
Allen noted that hearings like this are too important to lose.
"There ought to be some built-in redundancies when it comes to protecting the public," said Allen. There are routinely in any honestly run operation. Supreme Court ...the political football known as The Highest Court in the Land, home of penumbrae and emanations... rules state that all court hearings should be recorded word-for-word by a certified court reporter or a digital audio recording device.
Jackie Rupnow, past president of the Wisconsin Court Reporters Association, said they had warned the Supreme Court two years ago that these recordings should be more closely monitored by trained professionals, and the Supreme Court ignored the warning.
"We saw this coming," said Rupnow.
"There are instances where it happens," Rupnow added. "Unfortunately, it was just a matter of time before something like this was going to happen."

^ Of course, it won't. The clerk who filed it went and "lost it" because he/she/it knew they were on the hook to be the scapegoat or were paid by the person who knew they were going to be on the hook. That's how it has always worked. It's nothing new.

Original article written by Brian Polcyn at Fox6 in Milwaukee. Post Millennial article written by Hannah Nightingale. Apparently neither reporter pursued the questioning any further after a court administrator informed them of a "technical issue".
Well, there could be all kinds of technical issues. It's disturbing to me that the reporters did not ask for specifics about the exact nature of this "issue". They let the "court administrator" off the hook too easily...way in the heck too easily. Reporters should be more aggressive in their pursuit of pertinent facts in cases like this. What was the "court administrator's" name? How did he or she or it get that gig? Is an elected official in charge of that department or some appointed bureaucrat and, if an appointed bureaucrat, who made the appointment? Voters want to know. Was it a computer problem? What kind of computer? You're telling me they still use Windows 98? C'mon, make them sweat. Dig!
Reporters these days are lazy, stupid, crooked, biased as hell and the articles they produce are insufficient for an informed public.

Speaking as a former ink-stained wretch. All news-gathering organizations have to maintain cordial relations with the people they go to for information. You just won't find them cracking down very hard on anyone at the courthouse or police station. Because shortly after they do that, information from those places gets difficult to obtain.
That doesn't make it right, but there it is.

When Fox 6 Investigators asked for a record of that November 5 bail hearing, they were told by a court commissioner that "there are no recordings" due to "technical issues."
Nuts!
The 'court commissioner' is a lying liar, and that is the truth!
“In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is...in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.”

Chinese scientists? I’ll wait to see if a more trustworthy First World team can reproduce the results before I get excited.
[RussiaToday] Chinese scientists claim to have isolated an antibody which can effectively neutralize all strains of Covid-19, referencing both lab experiments and those performed on a living organism. "Or dead. Some Uighurs were...not healed. Omelette, eggs, whatever"
In a study published on Tuesday, Chinese scientists from a variety of institutions, including Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou and Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, suggested that they may have the panacea to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The authors claim that monoclonal antibody 35B5 has been shown in both in vitro (laboratory or test-tube experiment) and in vivo (performed on living organism) studies to neutralize wild-type Covid-19 (without mutations) as well as variants of concern (VOCs). The in vivo tests were carried out on humanized mice.
The scientists noted that the antibody also works on the highly mutated Delta variant, which has been responsible for deadly waves of infection around the world since it first emerged in India earlier this year.
“35B5 neutralizes SARS-CoV-2 [Covid-19] by targeting a unique epitope [part of the antigen molecule which the antibody attaches itself to] that avoids the prevailing mutation sites,” the study explains. In other words, 35B5 targets a unique part of the virus that does not change during the mutation process.
By targeting part of the virus which is not impacted by the mutations identified in circulating VOCs, antibody 35B5 demonstrated capacity for “pan-neutralizing efficacy” across multiple strains. These findings, the scientists argue, could be “exploited for the rational design of a universal SARS-CoV-2 [Covid-19] vaccine.”
The part of the antigen targeted by antibody 35B5 is also present in the Omicron variant, the researchers note.

[Rusvesna] The sounds of small arms firing pierced the early morning hours in Dokuchaevsk Thursday morning, according to data supplied in a post on the Russian language Russkaya Vesna (Russian Spring) website.
According to an official announcement by the Donetsk People's Republic ministry of defense, Ukrainian forces used BMP-2s 30mm autocannon, firing about 30 rounds.
There was no specified target nor reports of killed or wounded. The announcement said that the Ukrainian simply fired on the area.
The announcement also said that the area had been quiet for the entire day previously.
Videos posted with the Russkaya Vesna article show detonations from small arms as well as from heavier caliber weapons.
[NYPOST] City schools Chancellor Meisha Porter announced Wednesday that she will step down from her role at the end of Mayor de Blasio’s term.In an appearance on NY1, Porter said she will be taking the helm at a new Bronx nonprofit organization once mayor-elect Eric Adams ...retired New York City police captain, member of the New York State Senate, first Black Brooklyn borough president, law and order Dem after a brief fling with the Publicans. The New York Times isn't fond of him, suspecting he may not actually be black... assumes office.
Adams is widely expected to name Department of Education veteran David Banks — who mentored Porter early in her career — as new head of the nation’s largest school system.
Porter ascended to the position after the abrupt departure of former schools chief Richard Carranza in March.
She previously served as a principal and later Bronx Executive Superintendent before de Blasio tapped her as his third and final chancellor.
The DOE described Porter’s new organization, The Bronx Community Foundation, as "the first and only community foundation dedicated to supporting and investing in community power to eradicate inequity and build sustainable futures for all Bronxites."
The agency lauded Porter for spearheading several initiatives during her brief tenure — including the controversial replacement of Gifted and Talented programs with a general enrichment format.
[THEHILL] A Virginia Beach police officer won’t face criminal charges in the fatal shooting of Donovon Lynch, The Washington Post reported
Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney Colin Stolle said at a news conference on Tuesday that a special grand jury declined to issue any indictments against Officer Solomon D. Simmons, who shot and killed Lynch.
Lynch’s family filed a $50 million federal lawsuit against Simmons and the city saying that Lynch, 25, posed no threat at the time of the incident and was fired upon by Simmons without any warning.
Stolle said that the special jury found that Simmons acted in self-defense and in the defense of others when the incident took place.
"There were numerous people in that parking lot when Officer Simmons saw Mr. Lynch starting to come up with the firearm," Stolle said, via The Post. "It is not only just whether the weapon was pointed at Mr. Simmons, but also, are the people in the parking lot at risk."
In an interview with Sherlocks, Simmons said he arrived to respond to an incident in which more than 50 gunshots had taken place at a parking lot in the city’s oceanfront. He then encountered Lynch, who was making his way to his vehicle.
Simmons told Sherlocks he noticed someone "out of place" while he was leaving the parking lot area, saying he thought he heard a firearm being cocked.
He then said he saw a male crouched behind bushes — Lynch — who rose and brandished a weapon, according to The Post. Simmons, who is also Black, per the Post, said he thought the male was going to open fire on officers and other pedestrians at the parking lot.
"He turned around toward me," Simmons told Sherlocks "I remember firing three rounds, three gunshots at him."
Lynch’s family said he was legally carried a gun since he sometimes worked in security, The Post reported.
The shooting has stirred protests and controversy that has brought national attention to the incident. Lynch was also a cousin of the famed musical artist Pharrell Williams, who recently wrote a letter to Virginia Beach’s city government blaming them for the racial tension in his native city.
"The toxic energy that changed the narrative several times around the homicide of my cousin, Donovan Lynch, a citizen of Virginia, is the same toxic energy that changed the narrative around the mass murder and senseless loss of life at Building Number 2.

"I don’t know that I’m able to do that," Biden replied when asked by news hounds about whether he would visit the victims. "I don’t even have the detail of who the families are."
Biden spoke to news hounds as he left Minnesota after traveling to promote his infrastructure bill. He said he talked with Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) about the shooting.
"I think she knew somebody who was there," he said. "I’m not — I don’t know anybody who was injured."

[KPTV] Congressman Peter DeFazio, who has represented Oregon’s Fourth Congressional District for 36 years, announced Wednesday he won’t seek re-election in 2022.
DeFazio is the longest serving House member from Oregon and the 65th-longest serving member of the House in U.S. history.
"With humility and gratitude, I am announcing that I will not seek re-election next year," DeFazio said in a blurb Wednesday. "It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as Congressman for the Fourth District of Oregon. For 36 years I have fought corporate greed and special interests to benefit Oregon’s working families... Thank you for putting your trust in me."
[SHAFAQ] Huqooq movement, the political wing of Kata'ib Hezbollah (Iran's most powerful proxy in Iraq), voiced its rejection of the final election results announced by the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC), warning of plunging the country into "dark and perilous" paths."The election results are illegitimate given the size of manipulation and fraud the will of the voters was subject to in the 10/10 election," a statement of the movement said on Wednesday. They didn't win, y'see.
Huqooq said that "IHEC and the Judicial Commission [for the elections] did not look into the evidence-supported appeals it presented "subjectively and impartially."
"We were prompted to withdraw our observers before the completion of the virtual recount they were running because they were prevented from direct observation."
"IHEC's insistence upon wasting the movement's electoral entitlements by keeping the results as they are will spawn a parliament that lacks legitimacy and does not reflect the Iraqis opinion."
The movement called on the Supreme Federal Court to carefully examine the evidence the movement had presented, warning that "what happened on October 10 is a serious deviation from the democratic course we wish to our country. It threatens to plunge the country into dark and perilous pathways."
Iraq's Shiite firebrand ...firebrands are noted more for audio volume and the quantity of spittle generated than for any actual logic in their arguments... holy manMoqtada Tater al-Sadr ...hereditary Iraqi holy man and leader of a political movement in Iraq. He had his hereditary rival, al-Khoei, assassinated only a few hours after the holy rival's appearance out of exile in 2003. Formerly an Iranian catspaw, lately he's gagged over some of their more outlandish antics, then went back to catspawry... was confirmed Tuesday as the biggest winner of last month's parliamentary election, that had sparked charges of voter fraud from pro-Iranian factions.
The announcement of the results had been put off for weeks amid tensions over allegations of fraud and violence, that culminated on November 7 in an liquidation attempt targeting Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi, from which he emerged unharmed. The attack was not claimed by any group.
Al-Sadr's movement won nearly a fifth of seats, 73 out of the assembly's total 329, IHEC said, after a lengthy manual recount of hundreds of ballot boxes.
Trailing behind Sadr's bloc in the Shiite camp with 17 seats was al-Fatah (Conquest) Alliance, the political arm of the pro-Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites.... al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces-PMF) former paramilitary force, which is now integrated into Iraq's state security apparatus.
PMF leaders had rejected the preliminary result -- which was sharply down from their 48 seats in the outgoing assembly, as a "scam", and their supporters have held street protests chanting "No to fraud".
Their activists have staged sit-in protests outside Baghdad's ultra-secure Green Zone district, where the government, the assembly and many foreign embassies are located.
Despite the significant loss of seats, the Hashed remains a powerful force in the Iraqi political scene, backed by Iran and with a strength of 160,000 fighters.
It can also count on a key ally that made a surprise comeback in the polls, former premier Nouri al-Maliki's pro-Iran State of Law Alliance clinched 33 seats in the legislature.
Analysts have warned that, in a country still recovering from decades of war and chaos, and where most parties have armed wings, political disputes could spark a dangerous escalation.
The final results must now be sent to the federal court for ratification.
The parliament will then hold its inaugural session and elect a president, who will in turn appoint a prime minister to be approved by the legislature.
In multi-confessional and multi-ethnic Iraq, the formation of governments has involved complex negotiations ever since a US-led invasion toppled dictator Saddam Hussein in 2003.
Posts and ministries have typically been handed out according to compromises reached by the main blocs in backroom talks, rather than to reflect the numbers of seats parties have won.
Al-Sadr, a former leader of an anti-US militia who has often surprised observers with his political manoeuvres, has called for a "majority" government with other leading blocs, possibly excluding powerful Shiite actors like al-Fatah.
Analysts said he could strike deals with Sunni and Kurdish groups, such as those of outgoing parliament speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi's bloc, with 37 seats, and/or the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), with 31.

[REGNUM] In November 2021, seven Syrian soldiers were killed and 24 were wounded from terrorist attacks, Deputy Head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit said at a December 1 briefing . That's it? That's the best they could do?
He clarified that six of the seven dead were the victims of enemy snipers. Piss poor performance by the Turks and their sock puppets. I'd send a letter to Erdogan if I knew his address.
"As a result of the shelling of terrorists from the territory of the Idlib de-escalation zone in November 2021, seven Syrian soldiers were killed. Six of them became victims of militants' sniper fire. A total of 24 Syrian military personnel were injured, including 14 Syrian soldiers were wounded by sniper shots," Kulit said. Tut.
In total, in November 2021, 258 attacks by Syrian troops from the territory of the Idlib de-escalation zone were recorded. The militants fired a mortar attack 163 times, opened fire from artillery pieces and MLRS installations 47 times. In other cases, the terrorists used small arms.
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] As activist teachers' unions across the country continue to be exposed for teaching Critical Race Theory
...teaches that skin color is the most important characteristic of any person, which translates to separate but equal with a different bunch in charge. All whites and Asians are born racist and racism permeates every aspect of society, which should be dismantled and the remains turned over to the kind of dipshit who pushes this nonsense... and pull back their radical curriculum, the Washington Education Association is doubling down on the controversial content.
On December 1, Randy Paddock, the Equity & Diversity Coordinator and the WEA will be teaching a continuing education to members of the union he has given before entitled Institutional Racism and White Privilege. Past classes listed that were given by Paddock include a series on "Implicit Bias" trainings on Gender and Intersectionality, LGBTQ, Race and Ethnicity and other similar topics. The classes repeat regularly throughout the schedule.
Paddock has also served as a representative for the National Education Association’s UniServe program in Washington State which offers trainings for staff that have included, Supporting Staff Learning on Becoming Anti-Racist which addressed "...whiteness and how the institutionalization of this is showing up during the COVID pandemic, how to recognize bias in yourself and others, addressing and redressing everyday racism." The cirriculm included "...analysis about race, privilege, and systems of oppression in affiliate work."
The NEA, America's largest teachers' union, announced that they supported the teaching of CRT and that they intended to hire staff to "fight back" against those who oppose the radical curriculum. This while parents were protesting critical race theory across the country.
The WEA, which is an affiliate of the NEA, over the summer released a talking point guide for their members in order to push back to parent complaints about the radical curriculum. The talking points blog entitled Teaching Truth: Educators' Rights included methodology to convince parents CRT was not being taught.
"Educators are experts on making sure our students learn honesty about who we are, integrity in how we treat others, and courage to do what’s right. Recent broad-ranging attacks on how we teach and what we teach has created confusion about how we can safely continue teaching accurate and updated curricula..."
Though Washington state Public School Superintendent Chris Reykdal has claimed CRT is not being taught in Washington’s schools, the talking points clearly outline that not only is it being taught, but that teachers cannot be disciplined for teaching the radical curriculum.
"I have been told by my administration I cannot teach Critical Race Theory . How does that impact me? Critical Race Theory is taught in universities and law schools, but at the PK-12 and community college levels we teach age-appropriate lessons that help our students understand and communicate across differences and portray a holistic and accurate picture of our nation’s history."
Additionally, the union told their staff that they could not be disciplined for teaching "...prescribed curricula."
"You are protected in teaching the curriculum. We are instructed by our school districts to teach prescribed curricula and cannot be disciplined for teaching these."

Randy Paddock, the Equity & Diversity Coordinator
Stage name?
Is Randy actually the Equine Love Coordinator?
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Mayor Comrade Bill de Blasio ...cryptocommie mayor of New York and for some reason a Dem candidate for president in 2020. Corrupt and incompetent, his qualifications for office seem to consist of being married to a black woman, with whom he honeymooned in Cuba. He has a preppy-looking son named Dante, whose Divine Comedy involved getting his back hair up when a police car drove past him slowly. New Yorkers voted for him, so they deserved him... and the New York City Health Department announced Tuesday the opening of the first legalized heroin injection sites in the US.
Addicts can bring illegal drugs to these locations and inject them under supervision. According to officials staff at the locations will administer medication to reverse overdoses, give out clean needles, and provide information on addiction treatment. They claim that the staff will not be providing the drugs.
The sites, called Overdose Prevention Centers (OPC) are located in Harlem and Washington Heights. There was tremendous pushback to the proposed locations and according to residents, with little to no community outreach or public comment. According to WCBS, Syderia Asberry-Chresfield who has lived in Harlem for over 30 years, but is considering leaving for good, due to the rampant drug use in the area. "We have 22 schools within a two-block radius of these methadone clinics. This is normalizing behavior for our children. There’s nothing normal about this."
Asberry-Chresfield is the co-founder of the Greater Harlem Coalition, and says the drug-related programs are bringing users, and their dealers, to Harlem from other areas.

[NYPOST] A Virginia school board faced furious parents for the first time in five months after a sexual assault controversy saw the public meetings abruptly shut down to spectators.
Loudoun County Public Schools allowed members of the public to watch on again as it held its school school board meeting on Tuesday night.
Parents repeatedly applauded each other as they got up to address the school board, the Washington Examiner reported.
"Up is not down, left is not right, and everyone is fed up with the lies and gaslighting," parent Kristen Tapia told the board.
The meeting marked the first time members of the public were permitted to be in the room after chaos broke out in June when the father of a student who was sexually assaulted in a school bathroom got up to defend his daughter.
The volatile meeting ended with the dad, Scott Smith, being arrested and dragged out amid a scuffle. Smith had said someone at the meeting told him they didn’t think his daughter had been raped.
The sexual assault ignited a political firestorm and the Loudoun County school board meetings made national headlines after Smith was branded a domestic terrorist.
The male student has since been found guilty of the sexual attack at Stone Bridge High School earlier this year.
Ever since that June meeting, the school board had been making those who wanted to address the board during public comments wait in a line outside the room.
After being invited back in on Tuesday, parents addressed the board on a range of issues, including the assault, mask policies and Critical Race Theory

Terry McAuliffe ...If you constructed what a political boss looks like, it would be him.... "We the people are back. We asked you, the board elected to represent us, to put down your cellphones and listen closely," parent Erin Thomas said.
"The election you claimed was our motivation is over and we are still here ... It is time for accountability."
Kathleen Casillo, 52, appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Wednesday after she was accused of driving through Manhattan BLM protestors last December
Casillo rejected the court's offer for a plea deal, which would have given her six days of community service and one year license suspension, in favor of a trial
BLM protestors gathered in front of the court room as they awaited justice for Casillo's actions
They had been angered over Casillo's 'lenient' sentencing after she was only charged with reckless assault in the third degree on February 22

[ColonelCassad] 1. To the south of Hodeidah, the troops of Tarek Saleh started active battles around Hayes, trying to use the forces freed from Hodeidah to expand the area around the city. In fact, 2 out of 4 brigades freed from Hodeidah were brought into battle around Hayes.
Saleh managed to push the Houthis slightly, but he failed to achieve anything significant here, the fighting continues dangerously close to Hayes, which acts as a kind of "festung", the fall of which could lead to a further rollback of the front south to Mokha.
2. South of Marib, fighting continues for the Jabal al-Balak mountain range. The Saudis and Hadis are holding on for now. After the defeat of the Hadists in South Marib, the front shows tendencies towards positionalism - the reserves from Hadhramaut made it possible to build a new front to replace the one that collapsed in the fall. The Houthis continue to claim that they will soon take Marib.
[NYPOST] The recent UN climate summit in Glasgow was predictably branded our "last chance" to tackle the "climate catastrophe" and "save humanity." Like many others, US climate envoy John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, unsuccessful presidential candidate, and utterly failed Secretary of State... warned us that we have only nine years left to avert most of "catastrophic" global warming.
But almost every climate summit has been branded the last chance. Setting artificial deadlines to get attention is one of the most common environmental tactics. We have actually been told for the past half-century that time has just about run out.

[An Nahar] The judicial path has been "affected by the political path" in the Beirut port blast investigation and there are fears that truth might never be reached, judicial sources said. That's the objective of the perps.
Beirut port blast investigator Judge Tarek Bitar is now suspended, pending the implementation of the decision of the General Commission of the Court of Cassation, the sources added.
The Court of Cassation last week said it is the only authority eligible to look into recusal requests against Bitar.
"We are now waiting for the pending recusal requests to be transferred from the Court of Appeals to the Court of Cassation," the judicial sources added.
"Higher Judicial Council head Suheil Abboud will have to choose which chamber of the Court of Cassation’s chambers will look into these requests," the sources said.

The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... , the Kashmir Police Zone wrote on Twitter, " bully boy commander of outfit JeM Yasir Parray, an IED Expert & foreign bully boy Furqan neutralised. Both were involved in several militancy crime cases,".
The shootout, as per police, broke out before dawn after the security forces launched a search operation in Qasbyar area of the district.
[SHAFAQ] A security source revealed, on Wednesday, that the Criminal Court in Dhi Qar Governorate had sentenced Death Eaters to death, including an al-Qaeda official.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "The Criminal Court in the Dhi Qar issued a death sentence ...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead... by hanging on five terrorists, including an official of Swat force in al-Qaeda."
The source indicated that these Death Eaters convicted different crimes, including armed attacks, executing citizens, detonating bombs, and killing members of the security forces.
He pointed out that "the decision was issued based on the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005."

[NYPOST] A man with a Tesla face tattoo has been busted on a DUI charge after he crashed and rolled the 30-year-old minivan he was driving.Jordan Lindsey, 25, was behind the wheel of a 1992 GMC Safari when he crashed on a highway just outside reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... last Thursday, according to a complaint obtained by the Smoking Gun.
The fan of Elon Musk’s electric vehicles was arrested on a felony aggravated DUI count and multiple other vehicular charges.
He is pictured in his mugshot with a tattoo of the Tesla logo clearly visible under his eye.
It isn’t clear if Lindsey owns one of the electric vehicles.
Lindsey has a rap sheet that includes multiple other vehicular convictions, according to cops.
At the time of last week’s crash, he was driving on a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction.
Lindsey is due in court on the latest charges on Dec. 20.

[BREITBART] Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ...Republican governor of Florida, stone in the shoe of the Dems and their ilk, maybe one-day president... on Monday announced he is pitching significant pay increases to support the men and women of law enforcement in the next budget."As most of you remember, you go back last year, the summer of 2020, you had huge movements in different parts of the country, municipalities, even state levels, to attack law enforcement, to defund law enforcement," DeSantis said during a presser in Orlando, Florida, speaking behind a podium reading, "Florida Supports Law Enforcement."
"And many municipalities did take a huge chunk out of their law enforcement budgets," he continued, noting they are not trying to figure out how to get it back in due to skyrocketing crime.
"It’s truly been one of the most disastrous policies that anyone’s ever tried to implement — this whole defund law enforcement. And you see the effects of this every single day in jurisdictions" that introduce policies that are soft on crime, he continued.
DeSantis said he is proud that Florida "never budged an inch" and stood with law enforcement as others walked away, going the extra mile and including thousand-dollar bonuses for every sworn law enforcement officer, first responder, and EMT in the current budget. He wants to carry that on to the next budget as well.

More from Yahoo, courtesy of Ebbomoger Speaking for Boskone4589: Reality clearly is not a realm he can live in any more after fatally shooting two people on the "Rust" movie set... A tip for Citizen Baldwin. Get yourself a different lawyer. Alec Baldwin is giving his first TV interview since the Rust shooting — and it's an emotional one.
The first preview for the ABC News sit-down sees Baldwin breaking down in tears as he talks about cinematographer Halyna Hutchins being fatally shot with a prop gun on Oct. 21.
The real surprise, however, was George Stephanopoulos asking why he fired the gun when it wasn't in the script and Baldwin replied, "The trigger wasn't pulled. I didn't pull the trigger."
So he never pulled the trigger? "No, no, no, no," Baldwin answered. "I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them, never." ...and then breaks down and weeps...
#18
I'll certainly say, if the gun was already loaded and cocked, it could have well gone off without the trigger being pulled if it was unsafe to begin with. We're talking about a Peacemaker style revolver here.
I'm not making any excuses for Baldwin. That said, he could be telling the truth. Some people are pre-disposed to be unwilling to even consider that possibility, I know.

"#13 Why hasn't someone been charged in this crime?"
Because the local DA hasn't yet decided whether charging Baldwin would help or hurt his run for New Mexico Attorney General later on.

As your Cowboy Action Shooting friends will tell you, if the hammer doesn't go into full lock it may very well fall on a loaded chamber. Some pull and cock in a single motion sliding the draw hand along the holster and engaging the hammer with the thumb or the web between thumb and forefinger.
The automation shows the cylinder advancing a cartridge to firing position before the hammer is fully cocked. When using a web draw the shooter must change hand positions to free the hammer before pulling the trigger. Easy to slip.

[RecordEagle] TRAVERSE CITY MICHIGAN -- Five deaths at the Grand Traverse Pavilions have been attributed to a COVID-19 outbreak at the county-owned, long-term care facility, according to officials.
Since the Nov. 5 outbreak started, 34 residents and 12 staff members tested positive for the virus, said Rose Coleman, interim CEO/administrator. Of those, five died, 23 are fully recovered and moved back to their rooms and six remain in a COVID-19 unit at the facility. Article goes on to state that all the residents who tested positive had been vaccinated in previous months. The Pavilions had just started giving booster shots to residents when this outbreak occurred. So far, this is the only outbreak of COVID at the facility. Genotyping was performed and the variant was found to be Delta, and "appears to be resistant to the vaccine we currently have," per Coleman.
A majority of the newly infected residents received monoclonal antibody treatments which Coleman thought were highly effective.

People in long term care — generally elderly, in poor health, and statistically likely to die in the near future even without help — are among the most susceptible to the virus, and the ones whose immune system is the least responsive to the vaccine.
How does this death rate at this facility compare to the same facility before Covid and to previous times Covid came into the building?

/\ Exactly correct. Few make it out to regain employment on the railroad or hardware store. Adding their numbers to the mix, strengthens fears of the pandemic....and the CRISIS !!!!

A dear friend here in Cincinnati came down with Covid a month ago. The emergency room doctor prescribed Ivermectin plus antibiotics for the secondary pneumonia infection — she had no problem obtaining either one.
It sounds like difficulties getting either Ivermectin or monoclonal antibodies are specific to certain states, certain doctors, or certain pharmacies rather than universal, which is unfair to those unlucky enough to be in the wrong place or dealing with the wrong person.
Terrorists working for the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... in West Africa Province (ISWAP) have kidnapped at least five officials of the Borno State Government.
The victims were said to be supervising the construction of Chibok-Damboa road when they were forcefully taken away on Wednesday.
It was gathered that the incident occurred near Wovi, a remote village in Chibok Local Government Area.
A source said one of the kidnapped staff, a driver, escaped unhurt.
"Yes, it is so sad and we are worried about these latest developments.
"The abduction came as a shocker to us. I can confirm to you that they were kidnapped this morning," a top state official told Daily Trust.
Syrian authorities have said they seized over 500 kilograms (1,000 pounds) of amphetamine pills known by the brand name Captagon
...famous for temporarily turning cowards into brave Lions of Islam...
hidden in pasta packages in a van bound for Saudi Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Fifteen of the nineteen WTC hijackers were Saudis, and most major jihadi commanders were Saudis, to include Osama bin Laden. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century... An investigation was underway to determine who was behind the attempted smuggling, a statement on the official state news agency SANA said. It didn't offer details on whether anyone has been arrested.
U.S. law enforcement officials say smuggling of the amphetamine-based drug from Syria and Lebanon Hezbollahstan ...The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years. It produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. That's three statements. Only the first is subjective.... has been on the rise, with over $3 billion worth of Captagon seized since February 2020.
The amount far exceeds the value of Syrian legal exports, said James Walsh, a high-level official with the State Department's international narcotics bureau, earlier this month. He had no details on how much goes through Lebanon and how much is from Syria.
The statement carried by SANA said authorities became suspicious and stopped a van in rural Damascus carrying 525 kilograms (1,160 pounds) of the pills hidden in a shipment of pasta heading to Saudi Arabia. The smugglers had sprayed pepper over the pills to distract sniffer dogs, the statement said.
[CaliforniaGlobal] A key question remains: Who paid for this vacation?
The Globe has received several photos and a now-removed Tweet from sources who were in Cabo San Lucas in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur over Thanksgiving at the same time California Gov. Gavin Newsom and his family vacationed.
The sources said the Newsoms stayed nearby at a $23,000 to $29,000 per night villa, La Datcha Cabo San Lucas villa, owned by Russian entrepreneur and businessman Oleg Tinkov. The sources said from their rental they could see the 10,000 to 12,000 square foot villa, and said it comes with two chefs, four to five servers, personal trainers, and the like.
"We were told the governor and his family were there," one source said. "We could see him, and a blonde woman who looked like his wife, and kids, and another couple."
The question is, at $29,000 per night for the holiday rate, did Gov. Newsom pay for it? If not, who picked up the tab for the $203,000 week-long stay at La Datcha Cabo San Lucas vacation villa for the Newsoms? Was it a gift?
Newsom was paid $209,747 in 2020 as Governor of California.
The Globe contacted the governor’s press office midday on Tuesday and asked:
"The California Globe is preparing to report on the governor’s recent vacation. Can you tell us whether the governor paid for his vacation villa himself. If not, who did?"
We heard back from the governor’s press secretary late in the day: "Katy — This was a personal trip paid for by the family."
The Globe has no reason to doubt the word of the press secretary. But "by the family" is an intriguingly crafted answer, especially when one’s family members include prominent Californians whose surnames are Brown, Pelosi and Getty.
The Globe replied to the press secretary asking, "Thank you for your reply Erin. What family paid for this?"
After the article published, Governor Newsom’s Press Secretary Erin Mellon emailed and said, "The Newsom family."
She called the Globe and again said "the Newsom family" paid for the villa in Cabo. We asked "What Newsoms?" She finally said, "The governor... paid for it for a personal trip." I would have guessed his cartel buddies not only paid for it but guaranteed his safety while he stayed in their little narco state. Even so, I would not have risked it myself. But that's why it's such a shame about Mexico. The place does look nice...

All part of the California Democrats' New Feudalism plan.
Did you know that, in addition to all the other wanton destruction in this state, such as the electric car mandate (for which no infrastructure is yet being built), Democrats have similarly deliberately destructive plans for shipping? In 2027, they're going to require all ships in California ports to turn off their onboard generators and run only onshore power.
This is a big deal, costing tens of millions per dock, and, of course, it's going to require foreign-owned ships to spend hundreds of thousands, if not millions, per ship to make the conversions necessary to comport with the new law.
...Democrats want to drive both jobs and conservatives out of this state so that they can turn it into the prototype for their "futureplan." They envision a state populated only by serfs who stay home and whose only purpose is to vote for the party every couple of years.
Currently, people throw up their hands in dismay at incompetence, shrug their shoulders, and walk away in disgust, which is what Democrats want.
#2
I consider this a "trailing indicator." Dems noticed that lots of their voters are mesmerized by rich celebrities prancing around and decided why not emulate that. The problem they have is the "Kardashian vote" is not anywhere big enough to be a viable base.

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said Oxford High School shooting suspect Ethan Crumbley, 15, never knocked on classroom door during rampage Video showed someone claiming to be from the sheriff's office knocking on door of barricaded classroom and asking students huddling inside to open up
Students refused to 'take the risk' and fled through the window, apparently believing it was the gunman trying to coax them out
Bouchard said the person at the door was 'most likely' one of his plainclothes detectives seeking to lead students to safety
Bouchard also slammed 'false' claims circulating online that his agency had advance warning of the shooting
Crumbley charged as adult with four counts of murder and terror, among slew of other charges

Why bother. He's not Trayvon Martin, he's not the "gentle giant." He's whitey and he killed white kids who were probably bullying him. That's no excuse at all, but I'll be very surprised if that's not the background. That or a mental health issue, which again, will probably have kids bullying him at school as part of the background.

[Boston.com] Stacey Abrams, the Georgia Democrat and leading voting rights activist, said Wednesday that she will launch another campaign to become the nation’s first Black woman governor.
Without serious competition in a Democratic primary, the announcement could set up a rematch between Abrams and incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp. Their 2018 contest was one of the most narrowly decided races for governor that year and was dominated by allegations of voter suppression, which Kemp denied. Nov 12: Ankara voiced reservations over language in the final statement regarding the departure of foreign forces. It has long stressed a difference between the presence of its troops in Libya that were invited by a UN-recognised government and those imported by other factions.
Mercenaries from Russia's Wagner Group are entrenched alongside the eastern-based Libyan National Army (LNA), which was supported in the war by Moscow, along with the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. The former Tripoli government had support from Turkish regular forces in Libya as advisers, and from allied Syrian fighters, the Turkish government has said. Diplomats have said Turkey was unlikely to act before there were departures from forces in the east.

[KavkazUzel] The Russian President and the Chechen authorities are responsible for the assassination attempts on the Chechen blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov in Sweden and other critics of Ramzan Kadyrov, according to the report of the Intelligence and Situation Center of the European Union, the conclusions of which were voiced by journalists.
As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote , a court in Sweden on January 11 recognized Russian citizens Ruslan Mamaev and Elmira Shapiaeva as participants in the attack on a blogger from Chechnya Tumso Abdurakhmanov and sentenced them to ten and eight years of imprisonment, respectively. The accused were sentenced to the terms requested by the prosecutor.
The court recognized the criticism of the Chechen authorities by the blogger as the motive for the crime, but the role of the Chechen authorities was not studied in detail.
The findings from the report of the Intelligence and Situation Center of the European Union regarding the attempt on the life of Tumso Abdurakhmanov in Sweden were reported by the Swedish public television SVT, which published this material on its website today. The Swedish security service SEPO concluded that the attempt on the blogger and other critics of Kadyrov was ordered in Chechnya, the article says.
At the same time, it quotes the words of the Minister of Press and Information of the republic, Akhmed Dudayev, who did not want to answer the reporters' questions.
"To be honest, I don’t understand why you think that I should somehow comment on the activities of these countless Internet heroes. We have neither the time nor the desire to react to this person or someone like that," Dudayev replied.
In addition, the report describes how Russia and Chechnya have developed their tools for illegal executions, mentions in this connection the special unit of the National Guard SOBR "Terek". It also states that attempts on the life of Tumso and other Chechen bloggers would not have been possible if President Putin had objected to them.
However, in a letter signed by "President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin," the presidential press service replied to Swedish television that "it has nothing to do with the murders of these people in European countries," the article says.
Recall that in June this year, a Chechen blogger living in Austria, Said-Khusein Magomadov, was tried to blow up in the city of Bregenz, according to the police. Two natives of Chechnya were detained in connection with the attempted murder case.
The blogger is sure that the Chechen authorities are behind the assassination attempt.
On July 4, 2020, in a suburb of the Austrian capital, a native of Chechnya, Mamikhan Umarov (Anzor from Vienna), was shot dead, who in his videos openly criticized and insulted Ramzan Kadyrov and his parents using profanity. And this is by no means the only example of the realization of threats against the political opponents of the head of Chechnya who fled abroad, says the statement of the "Caucasian Knot" " The Murders of Kadyrov's Critics in the European Union."
In 2016, Ramzan Kadyrov voiced threats against compatriots living abroad. "We have data for each of you, and we know who you are ... We know where you are writing from, and you are all in our hands. And therefore, do not harm yourself," "words of the head of Chechnya.
[SpaceDaily] SpaceX founder Elon Musk told his employees the space company faces a "genuine risk of bankruptcy" because of its struggles in developing its engine for its Starship flights.
In an email obtained by the website Space Explored, Musk called the company's struggle with its Raptor engine production at its base in Boca Chica, Texas, a "crisis." The Starship is a hulking space vehicle created to deliver goods and people to the moon and eventually Mars.
"What it comes down to, is that we face a genuine risk of bankruptcy if we can't achieve a Starship flight rate of at least once every two weeks next year," Musk said in the email.
Musk canceled a scheduled break he planned to take during Thanksgiving to address the Raptor engine issue.
"Unfortunately, the Raptor production crisis is much worse than it had seemed a few weeks ago," Musk said. "As we have dug into the issues following the exiting of prior senior management, they have unfortunately turned out to be far more severe than was reported. There is no way to sugarcoat this."
Last week, SpaceX's vice president of propulsion Will Hetsley left the company after he was removed from the Raptor engine project for lack of progress, CNBC reported. Musk recently said that a "complete design overall" of the engine was necessary."
On Nov. 17, Musk said he hoped SpaceX would conduct its first orbital flight of the Starship in January or February, pending regulatory approval by the Federal Aviation Administration as well as ironing out technical issues.
SpaceX has a lot riding on the line with the engines. It recently beat out Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin for a $2.9 billion NASA contract and has a valuation of more than $100 billion while employing 7,000 people.

No doubt Elon is good at hoovering up the market-distorting subsidies our government provides. He is a smart guy with smart accountants and lawyers. But SpaceX is a real thing and he is building it.
The engine problem is that they need to produce them faster, not that the engines don't work. SpaceX needs enough engines to fly Starship to launch Starlink V2. If they cannot keep that schedule, then they will need to make cuts somewhere.
Everyone loves gloom and doom, but Musk is an engineer. I bet he figures it out.
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited. [REGNUM] The ruling Taliban movement in Afghanistan confirms the ceasefire on the border with Iran, Afghan TV channel Tolo News reported on December 1, citing Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Bilal Karimi.
According to him, the fighting took place in the Kang district of the western Afghan province of Nimroz. Karimi did not specify the reasons for the armed conflict.
We will remind, earlier the Afghan media reported about the battles with the use of artillery between the Iranian border guards and the Taliban (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation).
According to the Afghan media, the Taliban (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation) captured prisoners and several Iranian checkpoints.
In turn, the Iranian Foreign Ministry denied information about the seizure of Iranian border checkpoints.
Islamic Emirate forces and Iranian border forces clashed in border areas on Wednesday, officials said.
Bilal Karim, deputy front man of the Islamic Emirate, told TOLOnews that the forces clashed in the border areas in Nimroz province.
He said the festivities have stopped and that there were no casualties. He did not give further details about the causes.
Meanwhile, ...back at the palazzo, Don Smilzo looked for an avenue of escape. The only window opened a hundred feet above the moat. The nearest of the hired assassins hold a bloody axe.
The window was looking better all the time.... local sources in Nimroz province said the festivities started on Wednesday afternoon and continued for several hours.
Sources said Islamic Emirate forces had captured five outposts of the Iranian forces in the border areas.
That might not turn out to be as clever as the Talibs think...
The report quoting local residents in southwestern Afghanistan said that Iranian forces crossed into Afghan territory.
Amaj News based in Kabul also quoted local sources as saying that Iranian forces used heavy weapons and the Taliban dispatched armored American Humvees to confront Iran’s border troops.
Later, Tasnim News affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard reported that a "misunderstanding" led Taliban forces to open fire at some Iranian civilians who very close to the border line, and Iranian troops replied. The website stressed that the clashes have ended.
The Islamic Republic first welcomed the Taliban victory, presenting it as a defeat for the United States, but later terror attacks against Shiite Afghans led to protests in Iran and warnings from Tehran that the Taliban must protect minorities. Iran has also been demanding an inclusive government in Afghanistan, while the Taliban have kept their tight control.

The whole behind the scenes stuff was just as impressive to watch as the finished product.

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] A new list of words compiled by CBC Ottawa was broken down by "anti-racism and language experts" in an article released on Tuesday, with many of the terms being rather innocuous.
Experts noted that using these words "doesn't automatically make you a bad person," as the racist etymologies are not obvious in most cases.
"It's not so much about political correctness, I think it is about the empirical accuracy and ... if somebody really calls us out on a particular word, we need to stop and say, 'It's not about me,'" said Ottawa-based consultant Jas Kalra.
Anti-racism trainer Joseph Smith said that the terms are not all negative, but some terms like "blackmail" and "blacklist" use black in a negative way that lowers the status of black people. "[It] connotes evil, distrust, lack of intelligence, ignorance, a lack beauty — the absence of white."
The CBC lists several words in their article, including: Ghetto, blackmail gypped, powwow, crippled, blind spot, first-world problem, lame, spirit animal, grandfathered in, tone deaf, blindsided, black sheep, tribe, spooky, savage, brainstorm, and to sell someone down the river.
Terms like "ghetto" and "inner city" have clear historical negative connotations, said Smith, saying that "Ghettos and inner cities were typically seen to be places where less refined people lived — the people who weren't up to date culturally, development-wise" while suburbs were seen as the safer counter-part to inner cities.
The term spooky, apparently, also has negative connotations related to race, as the term "spook" was used during World War II to refer to black soldiers.
The term "grandfathered in" meanwhile should not be used due to its connection to a 19th century policy which "indirectly stopped Black Americans from voting by limiting eligibility to only those whose ancestors could vote." The phrase also re-enforces the patriarchy.
"A patriarchic family having supreme power over how things operate and manifest, and them possessing all the power and autonomy to make decisions and dictate the course of the future," said Smith.
"It's re-inscribing the idea of a male-dominated society or world."
Terms like "lowest on the totem pole" and "savage," as well as "spirit animal," "powwow," and "tribe," should all also be blacklisted from everyday use. "Savage" was even called the Indigenous "N-word" by educator Douglas Stewart.

I guess all the federally-recognized "tribes" will now be obligated to stop holding "powwows". As if.

Paging Jordan Peterson. Dr Peterson to the white courtesy phone, eh?
[NYPOST] The Kremlin said Wednesday it could not reduce the number of Russian forces along the country’s border with Ukraine because the Kiev government is carrying out its own military buildup.
"Russia cannot take any measures to de-escalate," front man Dmitry Peskov told news hounds. "We have seen the messages that more than 120,000 [Ukrainian] troops have been deployed to the conflict zone. This raises our fears that sentiments [in Ukraine] in favor of a military solution to the Donbass problem could prevail."
Earlier Wednesday, Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused Ukraine of moving 125,000 troops — which she described as "half of the entire Ukrainian army" — to the eastern Donbass region of the country, where government forces have been fighting Russia-backed separatists since Moscow illegally annexed Crimea in 2014.
