Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Three rockets fired towards southern Israel
[JPost] Three rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip towards southern Israel on Saturday night with two of them intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.

Incoming rocket sirens were activated at around 9 p.m. in Sderot and surrounding communities bordering the northern part of the blockaded coastal enclave.
"Hit us back. We're victims™"
Locals reported hearing blasts, and video shared on social media showed at least two interceptions. The third projectile is believed to have fallen in open territory, causing no damage.

Texas Dem call for perpetual impeachment of The Orange Man
[Washington Examiner] Texas Rep. Al Green advocated that Democrats continue to pursue impeachment several times if the Senate does not vote to convict President Trump.

On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the House Judiciary Committee would be drafting articles of impeachment as one of the final steps before a full House vote. If the House votes to impeach the president, the process moves over to the Republican-controlled Senate, where there is little support to convict Trump.

Green claimed that shouldn’t dissuade Democrats from moving rapidly toward impeachment. During a speech on the House floor on Thursday, Green reminded his colleagues that there is "no limit" to the number of times they can impeach the president.

"The Constitution allows a president to be impeached more than once," Green explained. "If we impeach now, or at some time in the near future, for one issue that we dearly should, then we find later that the president has other issues that merit impeachment, we can impeach again. There is no limit on the number of times."

Green noted that he doesn’t believe Trump should be impeached "needlessly," despite having forced a vote on impeachment three times before the current effort to remove Trump following his controversial phone call with Ukrainian leaders.

Clearly this little hobbyhorse of his is keeping him from getting into trouble by turning his attention to more realistic endeavours. I quite agree that he should continue to concentrate on bringing new impeachment bills before his fellows in the House, no matter how quixotic they may seem.

Either that, or he is trying to dilute the inevitable disappointment when the current effort fails in the Senate.

But either way, his statement will drive more voters away from the Democrats, and toward at least considering the Republicans. All the Dems had to do was not be crazy, and they can’t even manage that,

Canada police arrest man previously detained in Turkey for joining ISIS
[Jpost] Canadian police arrested a man on terror charges who was previously detained by Ottoman Turkish authorities for being part of ISIS, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said on Friday.

Ikar Mao, 22, of Guelph, Ontario, a city 100 km (62.14 miles) west of Toronto, has been charged with participation in the activity of a terror group, and leaving Canada to participate in such a group, the police said in a statement.

Mao appeared in court on Friday, RCMP spokeswoman Louise Savard said in an email. She declined to give further details.

The RCMP investigation leading to Mao's arrest began on July 11, and stemmed from a complaint from an unnamed source, Savard said. He was arrested and charged by Ottoman Turkish authorities and held until a court hearing, she added, noting that no conviction has been registered in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
Mao returned to Canada on Oct. 19, Savard said.

At least eight killed in Kenya in suspected Islamist militant attack
[Jpost] Several people were killed on Friday when suspected Islamist holy warriors attacked a bus in Kenya near the border with Somalia, police and local media outlets said.

Stephen Ng'etich, the police commander for Wajir county, told Rooters the bus had been attacked in an area called Kotulo, without providing details of casualties.

"A group of gunnies ambushed a bus travelling to northern Kenya this evening ... We suspect al-Shabaab
...... al-Qaeda's tentacle in East Africa...
was involved," he said, referring to the Islamist krazed killer group from Somalia.

Al-Shabaab has targeted Kenya many times since the East African nation sent its troops across the border to fight the holy warriors in their homeland in October 2011.

The local privately-owned Citizen TV channel said that eight people had been killed. Police front man Charles Owino said "lives are believed to have been lost", without giving details.

The Medina Bus Company vehicle was travelling between Wajir and Mandera when it was ambushed at about 5.30 pm local time (1430 GMT), Owino said in a statement.

Ismail Adan, a resident, said those who were killed were ordered out of the bus and shot at close range. Police did not immediately comment on this.

2019 Victories: Forcing HHS to End Ghoulish Contract to Create "Humanized Mice" Using Aborted Babies
[ACLJ] This year we scored a massive win in our ongoing fight for life. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under President Trump ended an alarming contract between the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and a California university that involved using aborted babies in medical research.

In what sounds like awful science fiction, NIH had hoped to create "humanized mice" for experimentation from the tissue of aborted babies. Let me say it again: humanized mice.

At the beginning of the year, we told you that we had issued a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to discover more about this unsettling experimentation being conducted by NIH, which had contracted with University of California San Francisco (UCSF) to "obtain the body parts from unborn babies to make at least two types of ’humanized mice.’"

When the ACLJ caught wind of this disgusting contract, we immediately initiated a legal advocacy campaign obtaining over a hundred-thousand petition signatures demanding an end to these ghoulish practices. We also filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request in order to expose and put an end to this horror.

In a huge victory, HHS agreed with us, and officially shut down this twisted experimentation ‐ soon after receiving our FOIA request.

Africa Subsaharan
DR Congo: Several hacked to death in suspected rebel attacks
[Aljazeera] At least 17 people have been hacked to death in two rebel attacks in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), a local official has said.

On Thursday afternoon, the rebels killed 14 people in Mantumbi, a village 17 kilometres (11 miles) west of the city of Oicha, said Donat Kibwana, administrator of the Beni territory.

Earlier that day, they had killed two and beheaded a third in Kolokoko, a suburb of Oicha, he told the Reuters News Agency.

"Everybody has fled the village [Mantumbi]. There are only soldiers here, who are in the process of helping to remove the bodies of the people who were all killed with knives," he said
Life Magazine cover, 12 February 1965.
The violence has been blamed on the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), an armed group which officials say is responsible for a string of massacres since the start of November.
ISIS has been claiming their attacks recently, but the ADF does not seem to have made a public proclamation of fealty to them or anyone else.

Iraq
Many killed in central Baghdad as assailants fire live rounds
[Aljazeera] Iraqi officials have raised Friday's death toll to at least 20 after a bloody night of attacks by unidentified gunmen that targeted anti-government demonstrators near the main protest camp in the capital city.

More than 130 others were also wounded by gunfire and stabbings near Tahrir Square, the main protest camp in the Iraqi capital, the Associated Press reported, citing health and security officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

It was the most violent flare-up in the capital for weeks and came a week after Iraqi's prime minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, said he would resign following two months of anti-government protests.

GOP Senators Seek Interview With Ex-DNC Contractor Who Worked With Ukrainians In 2016
[Daily Caller] Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) announced Friday that they are requesting records from and interviews with Alexandra Chalupa, a Democratic consultant and Ukrainian-American activist who met with Ukrainian embassy officials throughout 2016, allegedly on behalf of the DNC. The trio are also seeking records from Andrii Telizkhenko, a former Ukrainian political officer who told Politico that Oksana Shulyar, a top aid to the Ukrainian ambassador, instructed him to assist Chalupa with research to connect Trump and Manafort to the Russians.

According to the Daily Caller, the request is a continuation of Grassley’s 2017 inquiry into possible coordination between the DNC and the Ukrainian embassy to dig up dirt on the Trump campaign.

Chalupa met throughout 2016 with Ukrainian embassy officials, and sought to trade information related to Manafort, who worked through 2014 for former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, on Jan. 11, 2017, Politico reported. Telizhenko told Politico he was directed by his bosses to help Chalupa in the effort.

In addition to Chalupa’s efforts, multiple Ukrainian government officials spoke out against Trump during the 2016 campaign.

One official scrutinized by Republicans is Serhiy Leshchenko, a former Ukrainian parliamentarian who gained international attention in August 2016 for helping publicize the so-called "black ledger" that detailed payments that the Ukrainian Party of Regions allegedly made to Manafort.

Manafort denied receiving the payments, but was forced off the Trump team following reports of the "black ledger." He was convicted in the special counsel’s investigation of financial crimes related to income from his Ukraine work.

The Democratic Party Isn't
[AmGreatness] It’s high time American voters lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau ("BBB") against an entity with a sketchy history of bogus claims and broken promises: the Democratic Party.

According to the BBB:
Misleading advertising occurs when, in the promotion of a product or any business interest, a representation is made to the public that is false or materially misleading. If a representation could influence a consumer to buy the product or service advertised, it is material. To determine whether an advertisement is misleading, the courts consider the "general impression" it conveys, as well as its literal meaning.

...Sure, the Democratic Party wants everyone to vote regardless of citizenship; and, the party offers everyone an equality of dependency and misery in their socialist dystopia. But this is the egalitarian pose the Democratic Party necessarily assumes to take power from the people. Then, having duplicitously and, tragically, attained power by blathering on about the peril posed to "our democracy," their electioneering mask slips and the Democratic Party promptly proceeds to imperil our constitutional republic by serving the voting public up to the unaccountable administrative state.

This undemocratic outcome is the ineluctable result of the Democratic Party’s "progressive" ideology: "experts" are better at managing government‐i.e., your life and pursuit of happiness‐than are you.

Thus, for the Democratic Party, voting is a one way street to empowering elitists: once the voters consent to delegating their powers to the government in the manner the Left deems acceptable, the Democratic Party holds that such delegation is permanent.

...Witness how the Left parades the administrative and academic elites (when not hiding them in Adam Schiff’s basement) through the show trial impeachment sham. Underneath all the wailing and gnashing of teeth coming from these unelected bureaucrats is an affronted dismay at the realization their "expert" opinions were not obeyed by the elected president of the United States.

Welcome to the Democratic Party’s undemocratic administrative state where, as Winston Churchill warned: "After a time, civil servants tend to become no longer servants and no longer civil." And Americans become no longer sovereign citizens but serfs.

CrowdStrike: a Conspiracy Wrapped in a Conspiracy Inside a Conspiracy
[Frontpage] In the last few days, media talking heads have been saying the word "CrowdStrike" a lot, defining it as a wild conspiracy theory originating in Moscow. They were joined by Chris Wallace at Fox News, who informed us that president Trump and his ill-informed fans believe in a crazy idea that the DNC wasn't hacked by the Russians but by some Ukrainian group named CrowdStrike that stole the DNC server and brought it to Ukraine , and that it was Ukraine that meddled in our 2016 election and not Russia.

A crazy idea indeed. Except that neither Trump nor his fans had ever heard of it until the Democrat-media complex condescendingly informed them that these are their beliefs.

Let's look at the facts:
Fact 1. In 2016 the DNC hired the Ukrainian-owned firm CrowdStrike to analyze their server and investigate a data breach.

Fact 2. CrowdStrike experts determined that the culprit was Russia.

Fact 3. The FBI never received access to the DNC server, so the Russian connection was never officially confirmed and continues to be an allegation coming from the DNC and its Ukrainian-owned contractor.

Fact 4. Absent the official verdict, other theories continue to circulate, including the possibility that the theft was an inside job by a DNC employee, who simply copied the files to a USB drive and sent it to WikiLeaks.

None of these facts was ever disputed by anyone. The media largely ignored them except for the part about the Russian hackers, which boosted their own, now debunked, wild conspiracy theory that Trump was a Russian agent.

Now that Trump had asked the newly elected Ukrainian president Zelensky to look into CrowdStrike during that fateful July phone call, the media all at once started telling us that "CrowdStrike" is a code word for a conspiracy theory so insane that only Trump could believe in it, which is just more proof of how insane he is.

But if Trump had really said what Mr. Wallace and the media claim, Ukrainians would be the first to call him on it and the impeachment would've been over by now. Instead, Ukrainians back Trump every step of the way.

#1  Are we to assume this is the same 'James Comey' who orchestrated Trump Dossier back-up data for FISA warrants ?

Wiki: CrowdStrike helped investigate the Democratic National Committee cyber attacks and connected those attacks to Russian intelligence services. On March 20, 2017, during testimony before congress, James Comey stated "CrowdStrike, Mandiant, and ThreatConnect review[ed] the evidence of the hack and conclude[d] with high certainty that it was the work of APT 28 and APT 29 who are known to be Russian intelligence services."[38]

Ninth Circuit Lifts Injunctions Blocking Trump Admin's ‘Public Charge' Rule for Immigrants
h/t Instapundit
A federal appeals court on Thursday lifted several injunctions that were blocking the Trump administration’s rule restricting immigration eligibility for individuals deemed likely to become public charges.

"Public charge" denotes immigrants who are likely to require government assistance, such as food stamps or Medicaid. The Trump administration had moved to restrict the number of new immigrants who would require such assistance, but several courts blocked the rule in October before it could take effect.

In its 2-1 decision, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals stayed preliminary injunctions against the administration’s rule from federal courts in Washington and California. The rule is still blocked nationwide by courts in Maryland and New York, which the decision by the Ninth Circuit do not overturn.
Change. And, hope?

VA sheriff says he'd ‘deputize thousands' of citizens to exclude them from state gun bans
h/t Instapundit
Sheriff Scott Jenkins of Culpeper County, Va. proposed a way to exempt citizens from newly proposed Virginia gun laws that might otherwise bar them from owning certain firearms.

In a Wednesday Facebook post, Jenkins warned that some of the gun laws proposed in the Virginia General Assembly would "disarm or handicap our law-abiding in their defense," and in turn suggested he would confer the label of deputy on thousands of law-abiding citizens to include them in law enforcement carve-outs included in new gun legislation.

"I remain very optimistic that our General Assembly will not pass the proposed bills. Obviously, if passed, there are many of us willing to challenge these laws through the courts," Jenkins said. "In addition, if necessary, I plan to properly screen and deputize thousands of our law-abiding citizens to protect their constitutional right to own firearms."

Mark Steyn: Too Stupid to Survive
h/t Instapundit
[SteynOnline] I can no longer remember when I first used the line, but, as I've said many times before, sometimes a society becomes too stupid to survive.

Back when President Trump was Candidate Trump, he famously proposed a soi-disant "Muslim ban" on entry to the United States "until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on".

Which was a rationale to which I was rather partial - because a failure to "figure out what the hell is going on" is a big part of why we're where we are a generation after 9/11. Mohammed is now in the Top Ten boys' names in America, which means it will sooner than you think be, as it is in Europe, among the Top Five boys' names, and eventually the Number One.

Well, the "Muslim ban" never happened, after being struck down by judges and filleted into meaninglessness by the lawyers of the permanent bureaucracy. But you would think, given the mountain of corpses piled up on 9/11, that at the very minimum Saudi nationals would no longer be being given pilot training in Florida. After all, fifteen of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers were Saudis, and half of those who flew the planes received their lessons in the Sunshine State.

Yet today Americans pick up their papers to read:
PENSACOLA, Fla. ‐ A Saudi Arabian military pilot training in the United States opened fire Friday morning at Naval Air Station Pensacola, leaving three people dead and several others wounded before Florida sheriff's deputies shot and killed him.

Or as The New York Times headlined it:
Florida Shooting Updates: Authorities Say It's Too Early to Know if It's Terrorism

...The flaw in Trump's "Muslim ban" was its conditionality on us "figuring out what the hell is going on". Actually, what the hell's going on isn't so difficult to figure out. But, as events at Fishmongers' Hall and the Pensacola Naval Air Station both underline, most of the western world would rather do anything than confront honestly "what the hell is going on".

Naval Station's Gun Restrictions Didn't Stop Shooter but Did Stop Sailors from Arming Themselves
[Western Journal] U.S. Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida was put on lockdown early Friday morning as shots rang out in what would be the second mass shooting on a stateside military base this week.

According to The Associated Press, three were killed and 12 more injured when an aviation student opened fire on his peers during a classroom training session.

The shooter, who has since been identified as Saudi Arabian national Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, was quickly neutralized ‐ not by U.S. Armed Forces, but by two Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies during a standoff which ensued following law enforcement’s rapid response to the attack.

Why on earth would the sailors on base require local law enforcement response, you might ask?

US resumes talks with Taliban in bid for ceasefire in AFG ending 18 years of war
[MAIL] Washington has resumed talks with the Taliban in Qatar today, a US source said.

It comes three months after President Donald Trump abruptly halted diplomatic efforts that could end America's longest war.

Jury acquits New York man who offered $500 bounty to 'anyone who kills' an ICE agent
[Washington Examiner] A federal judge has cleared a New York man who offered a $500 bounty to anyone willing to kill an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer.

A jury in Boston acquitted Brandon Ziobrowski, 35, of charges that he used interstate and foreign commerce to transmit a threat, according to Fox News. He faced up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted.

"It seemed like the right verdict," Ziobrowski said after the ruling Friday. "It's been a horrible year. I'm glad it's over."

U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling, who prosecuted the case, said he respected the jury’s decision but expressed frustration at the outcome of the case.

"We respect the jury’s verdict. But in this case the defendant posted a tweet that, on its face, offered $500 to anyone who killed a federal agent," Lelling said in a statement. "In 2019, over 100 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty. The public needs to know that, regardless of today’s verdict, we will never hesitate to prosecute apparent threats against law enforcement officers."

Ziobrowski posted the bounty offer on Twitter to his account of 400 followers in July 2018.

"I am broke but will scrounge and literally give $500 to anyone who kills an ice agent," Ziobrowski wrote. "@me seriously who else can pledge get in on this let’s make this work."

‘Muhammad' Breaks Into Top 10 U.S. Baby Names for First Time Ever
[Breitbart] The popular Islamic name "Muhammad" has broken into the top ten United States baby names for the first time ever in American history.

The most updated list for popular baby names reveals that the name Muhammad is now the tenth most used name for newborn baby boys in the U.S., according to BabyCenter data. This is the first time in American history that the name has been included in the top ten most popular baby boy names.

Muhammad has been climbing in the U.S. for years now, as the Muslim population continues booming to historic levels largely due to the nation’s legal immigration system, which admits about 1.2 million legal immigrants every year.

For example, in 2018, Muhammad was the 14th most popular baby name for boys. Two years before, in 2016, Muhammad was listed as the 34th most popular name for baby boys. Jump back to the year 2000, though, and the name Muhammad did not register on a list of the year’s 200 most popular baby boy names.

As Breitbart News has chronicled, the Pew Research Center estimates that the Muslim community will soon be the second-largest religious group in the U.S. Today, there are roughly 3.45 million Muslims living in the U.S., making up about 1.1 percent of the total American population.

While Christians will remain the largest religious group in the U.S., Muslims are set to overtake Jewish-Americans as the second-largest religious group in the country by as early as 2040. Pew researchers estimate that the Muslim population will grow to an unprecedented 8.1 million, or 2.1 percent of the American population, by 2050.

US President Donald Trump calls for World Bank to stop loaning to China
[Jpost] US President Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
on Friday called for the World Bank to stop loaning money to China, one day after the institution adopted a lending plan to Beijing over Washington's objections.

The World Bank on Thursday adopted a plan to aid China with $1 billion to $1.5 billion in low-interest loans annually through June 2025. The plan calls for lending to "gradually decline" from the previous five-year average of $1.8 billion.

"Why is the World Bank loaning money to China? Can this be possible? China has plenty of money, and if they don't, they create it. STOP!" Trump wrote in a post on Twitter.

"World Bank lending to China has fallen sharply and will continue to reduce as part of our agreement with all our shareholders including the United States," the World Bank said in an emailed statement to Rooters.

"We eliminate lending as countries get richer."

Spokespeople for the White House declined to comment on the record.

The World Bank loaned China $1.3 billion in the fiscal 2019 year, which ended on June 30, a decrease from around $2.4 billion in fiscal 2017.

But the fall in the World Bank's loans to China is not swift enough for the Trump administration, which has argued that Beijing is too wealthy for international aid.

Germany deported more than 90 'potential terrorists'
[DW] Since 2016, Germany has deported a number of people suspected of being willing or capable of carrying out terrorist attacks. The government figures were released in response to a parliamentary inquiry.

Officials said that 40% of the people deported were from Syria, while others held Iraqi, Ottoman Turkish and Russian citizenship.
Germany has deported 90 "Gefährder" and other "relevant persons" since the 2016 attack on a Berlin Christmas market, according to German newsmagazine Der Spiegel, which cited a government response to a parliamentary inquiry from the business-friendly Free Democrats (FDP) on Friday.

In Germany a "Gefährder" (lit. "endangerer") is someone who could pose a threat to public safety as certain "facts justify the assumption that he or she may commit a severe crime."

Such individuals are often identified by German intelligence authorities as potential terror suspects and a threat to public safety.

In response to the FDP inquiry, officials said that 40% of the people deported were from Syria, while others held Iraqi, Ottoman Turkish and Russian citizenship.

The federal government currently has 225 "suspects" under examination by authorities who may face deportation or other legal consequences.

In February 2018, at the request of the country's far-right Alternative for Germany party, the federal government reported that there were 745 people in Germany who could be potential Islamic State

They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group-connected terrorists.

'URGENT' NEED FOR FEDERAL AUTHORITY
Stephan Thomae, the FDP's expert on domestic affairs, argued that deportation figures appear to be dependent on "which federal state is responsible and who is currently in power." Therefore, Germany "urgently needs a federal authority for deportations and effective agreements with the countries of origin," Thomae told Der Spiegel.

The number of deportations differed significantly across the states in Germany. North Rhine-Westphalia had a total of 29 deportations, Baden-Wurttemberg had 16 and Berlin 10. Meanwhile,

Thousands of Palestinians protest at the Gaza Strip border, 37 injured
Hattip Frank G, who posted the key paragraphs in a comment yesterday.
[Jpost] The announcement to renew protests was issued in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
after a meeting of representatives of Paleostinian groups on Thursday, December 5.

Approximately 4,000 Paleostinians are protesting at the border with the Gaza Strip on Friday, December 6, after three weeks of Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, refraining from conducting and financing the demonstrations at the border fence.

According to the Paleostinian Ministry of Health, 37 people have been injured so far during fence riots, while the IDF is using means to disperse demonstrations against rioters. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, four protesters were shot with live ammunition by IDF forces, while 10 were maimed by rubber-coeated bullets. Reports also indicate that a paramedic was injured in the riots.

The injured include 10 children and one paramedic from PRCS, east of the Gaza Strip.

The announcement to renew protests was issued in Gaza after a meeting of representatives of Paleostinian groups on Thursday, December 5. The commission urged Paleostinians to "preserve the popular and peaceful character" of the protests, and called for wide participation in Friday’s protests.

The decision to resume the weekly border protests came as Hamas and Paleostinian Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...
leaders continued their discussions in Cairo with senior Egyptian intelligence officials about reaching a long-term ceasefire with Israel. The Hamas delegation is headed by Ismail Haniyeh
...became Prime Minister of Gaza after the legislative elections of 2006 which Hamas won. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continues as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintains a separate PM in the West Bank...
, while the PIJ team is headed by the group’s secretary-general, Ziyad al-Nakhalah.

However,
a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth...
senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya was quoted on Thursday as saying that reports about an imminent ceasefire agreement with Israel are "inaccurate." He told the Hezbollah-affiliated newspaper al-Akhbar that the talk about a long-term truce "or halting resistance acts against the enemy are completely untrue." The Hamas official said that "forms of resistance may change, but we won’t stop resisting the enemy."

Hayya said that the weekly protests will continue because they are a "form of resistance that drains the enemy." A truce with Israel, he added, won’t "tie the hands of the resistance, and certainly won’t prevent it from responding to any aggression."

From King Clumsy to Queen Dream, more than 60 alleged East Coast Latin Kings members arrested in ‘Operation Throne Down’
[MassLive] More than 500 federal, state and local authorities arrested more than 60 people in the Northeast early Thursday morning, including 47 people across Massachusetts, on racketeering, drug distribution and firearms charges. All were connected with the Latin Kings’ East Coast network, authorities announced Thursday morning.

Authorities seized dozens of firearms Thursday morning, including a submachine gun, a sawed-off shotgun and an AR-15 rifle, U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling said during a news conference. A handful of firearms, including a hot pink gun, were placed on display inside the Boston federal courthouse as the charges were announced.

Officers also seized $38,000 in cash, six cars, six motorcycles, three jet skis, an ATV and various drugs.

“Anyone who tries to fill the void left by today’s arrears should know, we’re not going to tolerate those who terrorize our neighborhoods and put innocent people at risk,” said Joseph Bonavolonta, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Boston Field Division.

At least 46 of those people were charged with racketeering and 17 of those were charged with drug-related offenses. Others faced charges for being felons in possession of firearms and ammunition.

During their investigation, authorities prevented eight murders, Lelling said.

ALLEGATIONS OF MURDER, ROBBERY AND ASSAULT
Alleged Latin Kings members attended regular meetings where they planned, discussed and executed murder, robberies, assault, drug distribution and other crimes, according to the indictment. Like other gangs, they’re accused of recruiting minors and using them to commit crimes for the gang and hazing new members by assaulting them.

The Latin Kings members sold cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl and marijuana to earn money for the gang and pay their dues, according to the indictment. Authorities said they used some of the drug money to pay their dues.

DRUGS AND GUNS ALLEGEDLY STORED IN 'TRAP HOUSES’
Members hid their firearms, known as “nation” guns, and drugs in “trap houses,” according to the indictment. One alleged associate, Robert Avitabile, obtained “de facto” control of several apartment buildings in New Bedford where contraband was stored and meetings were held.

The indictment doesn’t elaborate on how Avitabile allegedly obtained control of the buildings.

Authorities said Avitabile was aware of the criminal activity and tried to launder the drug money into renovation projects at some of the properties.

LATIN KINGS HAS 10 CHAPTERS IN MASSACHUSETTS
Massachusetts is home to 10 chapters of the Latin Kings network, according to the indictment. Prosecutors said there are chapters for Fitchburg, Lowell, Worcester, Springfield, the Lynn/Salem/Chelsea area, New Bedford, the Devon Street in Boston and the Morton Street Bricks area in Boston.

They were overseen by a “state team,” which answered to the East Coast leadership.

In prison, Latin Kings members followed a similar hierarchy, according to the indictment.

The gang also had a “crown council” in Massachusetts that was tasked with resolving disputes among chapters, the indictment states.

Pope Compares Trump To Herod, Separator of Li'l Yesuses from their Madres.
[Breitbart] ROME - Pope Francis has compared U.S. President Donald Trump to the murderous King Herod who massacred innocent children in ancient Palestine while trying to kill the baby Jesus, a Jesuit journal revealed Thursday.

Speaking with his brother Jesuits during his recent visit to Thailand, the Argentinian pope minced no words in his thinly veiled condemnation of the U.S. president and his administration, suggesting that like a modern-day Herod, Mr. Trump separates families at the border while allowing drugs to freely flow into the country.

"In other parts there are walls that even separate children from parents. Herod comes to mind," Francis said. "Yet for drugs, there's no wall to keep them out."

"The phenomenon of migration is compounded by war, hunger and a 'defensive mindset' which makes us in a state of fear believe that you can defend yourself only by strengthening borders. At the same time, there is exploitation."
He neglected to mention the exploitation within the walls of his conglomerate.
In this Q&A session, the pontiff also proposed that the rise of populism is at the root of migrants' problems in Europe.
Actually, populism is what the liberals are about. Hillary won the popular vote, remember ? What we are about is nationalism. The fact that a majority want their nations free of elitist world dominators makes it majoritarianism, which is completely justified. Another globalist conceit, conflating the two for the unsuspecting masses. Masses, Ha ! Unintended churchy pun.
"I must admit that I am shocked by some of the narratives I hear in Europe about borders," the pope said. "Populism is gaining strength."

"The phenomenon of refugees has always existed, but today it is better known because of social differences, hunger, political tensions and especially war. For these reasons, migratory movements are intensifying," he said.

"What is the answer the world gives? The policy of waste," he continued. "Refugees are waste material. The Mediterranean has been turned into a cemetery. The notorious cruelty of some detention centers in Libya touches my heart."
As no christian nailed to a cross ever did.
"The Christian tradition has a rich evangelical experience in dealing with the problem of refugees. We also remember the importance of welcoming the foreigner as the Old Testament teaches us," he said.
And then he praetertransubstantiated into this before an amazed audience:

U.S. Justice Ginsburg puts temporary hold on Trump financial records dispute
Shes ALIVVVE!
[Al-Rooters] U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Friday put a temporary hold on a court ruling that would require records held by Deutsche Bank AG (DBKGn.DE) and Capital One Financial Corp (COF.N) to be handed over to Democratic-led congressional panels.

Trump's lawyers asked the high court to put a hold a Dec. 3 ruling by Manhattan-based 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals directing the two banks to comply with April subpoenas by the House of Representatives Financial Services Committee and Intelligence Committee for the financial records.

In a brief order, Ginsburg said that the lower court ruling is now on hold until Dec. 13.

The material sought by the committees includes records of accounts, transactions and investments linked to Trump, his three oldest children, their immediate family members and several Trump Organization entities.

Trump filed an appeal to the Supreme Court on Thursday in a separate case seeking to prevent the House Oversight Committee from obtaining financial records from Mazars LLP, Trump's longtime accounting firm. An appeals court in Washington ruled against Trump in October.

The Supreme Court on Nov. 25 granted Trump's request to put the subpoena enforcement in that case on hold while the president appeals the matter. Both cases represent an important showdown over the powers of the presidency versus those of Congress.

Russia slams allegations of ‘Russian mercenaries’ in Libya
[ALMASDARNEWS] Allegations about Russian military presence in Libya are nothing else but rumors, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Friday commenting on remarks by US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker.

Schenker had claimed earlier that Russian mercenaries were fighting for the Libyan National Army (LNA).

"As for the rumors spread by our American counterparts, [they] for some reason appear somehow around the world, elsewhere. If we speak about the Mediterranean, let us take Syria. How many are there service members from NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions...
countries’ armies who have not been invited there?," Lavrov said at the Mediterranean Dialogues international conference.

"However,
there's more than one way to skin a cat...
as soon as something happens somewhere, some sort of Bellingcat or any other non-governmental organization would provide materials that Russia is doing something wrong somewhere."

"I have read that a Russian spy nest was tracked up in La Belle France’s Savoie. Further in the text, they wrote that no spy activity was detected but it is all the same a spy nest," the minister added commenting on the Le Monde publication claiming that a group of 15 members of Russia’s military intelligence agency, the GRU, had stayed in the French department of Haute-Savoie.

Islamist Cover-Up? Media Silent After Imam Fired in Sexual Assault Scandal
[PJMedia] An Arizona imam has been accused of sexual assault, child abuse, misuse of funds, and falsely presenting himself as single in order to pursue female congregants while having two concealed marriages. One mosque quietly fired him after early accusations, but another has continued to employ him. An anti-Islamist Moslem reformer has condemned a media blackout on the story, suggesting that the local Moslem community is protecting a sexual predator due to radical interpretations of sharia.

"Here is the story on the imam ’quietly’ fired from our mosque in Scottsdale," M. Zuhdi Jasser, founder of the American-Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD), tweeted. "Apparently he was also a sexual predator. So tell me again this has nothing to do with their shariah supremacism, radicalism and affinity for radical imams like [Siraj Wahhaj]?"

Jasser was referring to a Religion News Service (RNS) article about Moataz Moftah, a holy man who teaches youth at the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix. The article cites an exhaustive report from the victims' advocacy group Facing Abuse in Community Environments (FACE) following an 11-month investigation into Moftah's alleged misconduct. FACE released the report on November 11.

#1  The historic error of affording secular rights to islam can be remedied. Legislate to adopt a limited list of religions. Classify those belief systems as cults which include anti-social, misanthropic behaviour or that necessitate practices not consonant with liberal democracies. Rate them in a threat matrix and ban the most delinquent ones. No more Ist Amendment rights to the mosques and organizations. Bring the baton down hard, fight the short civil war that ensues. Afghanistan
Pakistan Issuing Less Visas for Afghans: Applicants
Fewer visas, actually, unless the things are physically smaller.
[ToloNews] Pakistain's embassy claims it has issued 450,000 visas in last nine months.

Some Afghan visa applicants in Kabul on Friday claimed that Pakistain’s embassy in the city has reduced the issuing of visas to Afghan nationals, stating that the embassy is providing visas only to those having illness and those paying money in exchange for a visa.

They said that the Pak embassy has made the decision following recent tension between the two countries.

"It's three days now that I am coming to the embassy, my father is very ill, he is a cancer patient. We want to take him to Lahore for treatment," said Mohammad Ali, an applicant.

"We call on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the president, the chief executive officer to put aside your differences," said another applicant Hazrat Gul, asking the government leaders to focus on the issues facing the people rather than engaging in internal rifts.

"I have an eye problem, so I want to go to Pakistain for treatment," said Babrak, an applicant.

But Pakistain’s ambassador to Kabul, Zahid Nasrullah Khan, has said that over the past nine months, the embassy has issued 450,000 visas to Afghan citizens.

He also rejected rumors of corruption.

The Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs meanwhile said that efforts are underway to address the problems facing Afghan nationals seeking the Pak visas.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on different occasions raised the issue in various meetings so that it got the attention of the Pak government towards this matter, to settle this issue," said Geran Hewad, front man for the Minisry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.

Last month, Pakistain’s embassy in Kabul stated that its consular section will be closed from November 4 until further notice, due to security reasons.

On November 4, The Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement protested the summoning of the Afghan chargé d’affaires by Pakistain’s Foreign Ministry over reports of "harassment" made by Pak diplomats in Kabul.

Pakistain’s Foreign Ministry last month summoned the Afghan chargé d’affaires in order to convey serious concerns over the safety and security of the diplomatic personnel of the Pak embassy in Kabul and its sub-missions.

Belgian teacher shares video calling for jihad against Jews
[IsraelTimes] Talal Magri, who teaches at school near Brussels, denies sermon is anti-Semitic; watchdog head: Magri one of many ’preachers spreading poison and turning students into time bombs’.

A teacher on Islam at a Belgian high school posted on Facebook a video of a holy man calling for a jihad, or holy war, against Jews and those who "conspire" with them.

Talal Magri, who teaches about Islam as part of the religions major at the Royal Agri Saint-Georges Athenaeum 35 miles southeast of Brussels, last month posted the video of an unidentified man preaching in Arabic, the La Dernière Heure website on Thursday reported.

"Those who cooperate, work, conspire with the Jews, Allah, take them without delay. Shake their bases and topple their buildings, Allah. Support the jihad fighters, whom some of us find excuses not to join," the preacher is seen saying.

Education ministry officials in Wallonia, the Belgian state that employs Magri, told La Dernière Heure they complained about him to police over hate speech. The school declined to comment on whether he will be allowed to continue to teach there.

Contacted by La Dernière Heure, Magri denied that the sermon mentioned Jews or jihad, adding it couldn’t be anti-Semitic "because I am an Arab and Arabs are Semites, too."
Facile idiot. That’s why we’re going back to the old fashioned “Jew hater”, to avoid ambiguity.
But Khalil Zeguendi, editor of the Le Maroxellois magazine whose mother tongue is Arabic, confirmed to La Dernière Heure the translation as they printed it.

Magri headed the 2018 elections campaign of Belgium’s Islam Party, which supports the promotion of Sharia, Islamic law, and headed its regional list for Liege.

Joel Rubinfeld, the president of the Belgian League Against Anti-Semitism, called Magri one of multiple "preachers spreading poison and turning students into time bombs."

US slaps sanctions on 3 Iran-linked Iraqi militia heads over protest abuses
[IsraelTimes] The three officials are part of the Popular Mobilization Forces, a Shiite militia movement close to Tehran.

The United States on Friday announced sanctions on three Iranian-linked Iraqi militia leaders for allegedly assisting the crackdown on demonstrations that have swept the country.

"The Iraqi people want their country back. They are calling for genuine reform and accountability and for trustworthy leaders who will put Iraq’s national interests first," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement.

The United States imposed sanctions on three Iraqis ‐ Qais al-Khazali, Laith al-Khazali, and Hussein Falil Aziz al-Lami ‐ who are part of the Popular Mobilization Forces, or Hashed al-Shaabi, a Shiite militia movement close to Iran.

Some 430 people have died across Iraq as authorities cracked down on protests, which eventually led to the resignation of prime minister Adel Abdel Mahdi, a close ally of Iran.

The three militia leaders were designated under a US law that will ban them from travel to the United States and seize any assets they have in the country.

The United States also placed sanctions on an Iraqi politician, Khamis Farhan al-Khanjar al-Issawi, on bribery charges.

David Schenker, the top US diplomat for the Middle East, warned that more sanctions could come, including against government officials.

Inspector General Ramps Up Investigations of FBI Employees
[Epoch Times] Open investigations of FBI employees by the Justice Department’s Inspector General (IG) have about doubled in recent years and, as far as available records go, there have never been so many investigations of this kind.

The Office of IG Michael Horowitz had 104 “open criminal or administrative investigations of alleged misconduct related to FBI employees” as of Sept. 30, according to its latest semi-annual report to Congress (pdf).

The number fell from 112 open investigations just six months earlier, but still fit into a heightened trend. In fiscal 2018, the IG reported 84 and 93 open investigations, respectively. In the decade before that, the average was a bit under 51.

It’s not clear what’s behind the increase.

In the past few years, the IG has worked on a number of high-profile investigations, including one into former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for a self-serving media leak and another into former FBI Director James Comey for disclosure of sensitive information.

In June 2018, the IG released a report on his review of the investigation into the purported mishandling of classified information by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. While the report criticized several FBI officials involved in the probe for political bias, it concluded that “we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that improper considerations, including political bias, directly affected the specific investigative decisions we reviewed.”

‘10 Police Killed’ in Kunduz: Sources
[ToloNews] Kunduz police chief confirmed the festivities but did not provide security forces casualties.

"At least 10 Afghan police were killed, including police commander Mohammad Zahir," in a clash with the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
in Imam Sahib district in the northeastern province of Kunduz on Thursday evening, security sources said.

The clash also left three Taliban fighters dead, according to sources.

The clash occurred when a group of Talibs attacked two police checkpoints in Joi Begum and Kyrgyz villages in Imam Sahib district, Kunduz provincial council member Khaluddin Hakimi said. He said the casualties "might be higher than 10."

Assadullah, a resident of Imam Sahib district, said that casualties among government forces have "increased" recently in nighttime attacks by the Taliban in the district.

He said the residents are concerned about this.

Kunduz police chief Colonel Amanullah Ibrahimi said the festivities happened and there were casualties among the police force members. But he did not provide an exact figure on it.

Peshmerga forces killed in ISIS attack near Iran border: reports
[Rudaw] Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) bandidos bandidos krazed killers attacked Kurdish Peshmerga forces in Kolajo (Golajo), Diyala province near the Iraq-Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
border late Wednesday, according to reports from the scene. Initial reports suggest injuries and fatalities.

The attack comes just days after ISIS killed three Kurdish security force personnel (Asayesh) in the area.

Located in the Garmiyan area, the village of Dakay Sarcham, where the attack took place, is roughly a kilometer from where the three Asayesh men, including their commander, were killed in ISIS shelling on November 30.

In the face of this ISIS resurgence, the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs called on the international community to increase its military support.

More Peshmerga forces have been deployed to the area, he said.

The Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs confirmed the attack, claiming its forces had repelled the ISIS assault.

ISIS attacked Peshmerga forces in Kolajo but "the attack was soon repelled by Peshmerga forces who chased them and repelled the attack," the ministry said in a statement.

"We assure the people of Kurdistan that Peshmerga forces are on full alert to protect the people and soil of Kurdistan and terminate terror," it added.

The ministry did not confirm casualties.

It called on its allies in the international coalition to defeat ISIS to "increase its aid, support, and coordination with Peshmerga forces and the ministry in order to prevent the spread of terrorist groups."

Rudaw’s news hound said local units of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), also known as Hashd al-Shaabi, attacked ISIS positions in aid of the Peshmerga.

Kolajo in the Garmiyan Region south of Kirkuk has witnessed several attacks by ISIS remnants and sleeper cells. The area is currently under the control of Kurdish Peshmerga and Asayesh.

Sirwan Barzani, a Peshmerga commander, told Rudaw that ISIS will pose a "serious threat" to Iraq if it is not contained.

He said some ISIS imported muscle have moved from Syria to Iraq since their defeat in Baghouz in March 2019.

ISIS 2.0 and Guerilla Tactics - The Local Lone Wolf Strike.
Masudul Rehman, an ITBP constable fragged five Hindu soldiers, for no apparent reason. The gummint even wove a stupid story about leave not granted and weddings delayed.
The report:
[HindustanTimes] A constable of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) opened gunfire on a group of colleagues in Narayanpur district of Chhattigarh's Bastar region on Wednesday, killing five of them and injuring two. The constable died too, but it wasn't clear if he had killed himself or been hit by a colleague's bullet.

"An ITBP constable, identified as Masudul Rahman, opened fire from his service weapon, killing four troopers at the spot. Rahman was gunned down by one of jawans in self defence; that jawan died later," Narayanpur's superintendent of police Mohit Garg said. One of the three injured troopers died later.

In New Delhi, ITBP spokesperson Vivek Kumar Pandey said Rahman, a native of West Bengal's Nadia district, killed his colleagues and then shot himself dead.
Again, untrue. He had to be put down by one of the grunts he had shot or he was going to go on shooting.
Those killed in the incident were identified as head constables Mahendra Singh and Daljit Singh, and constables Surjit Sarkar, Biswaroop Mahto and Bijeesh. Constables SB Ullas and Sitaram Doon were injured in the incident.

The injured constables were admitted to a private hospital in Raipur where they were said to be out of danger.

Rahman's father, Marfat Ali Sheikh, a resident of Bilkumri village in the Krishnanagar area of Bengal's Nadia district, said: "Every time we talked in recent weeks my son said he was not getting leave and hence not being able to come home. We wanted to get him married and even selected a girl for him."

"The local police station informed us of the incident after noon. I cannot say why he opened fire on his colleagues. The department may have some reason for not sanctioning leave," said Sheikh.

A senior police officer in Raipur said on condition of anonymity that the reason why Rahman had turned the gun on his colleagues hadn't yet been ascertained.
The above bullshit is not really the news I wanted to post, because the networks have yet to get someone to write a piece on the facts we've let them see. It's not some high secret, just that the news people don't know what to do with the truth. The truth may be... inflammatory.

It happened so, that some related incidents over the past few weeks connected up and the trend was alarming. Some agencies decided to dig further since a pattern was emerging, and the right people were caught at the right time, because they celebrated a bit too brashly. Abdul factor or Providence.

I'm trying to share what I can for now.

Last week, a cell of six individuals was caught by ATS of two states and jointly questioned by civil and mil agencies. On interrogation, two of the ISIS recruits related a story that is yet being checked out by our counterparts elsewhere. Paris, London, Stockholm, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney - their int and police agencies, and the US FBI are also working on related branching cases. Communications out of London brought them orders to act as triggers with entrenched people in 'enemy forces' - mainly military or police depts. The trigger would deliver the order and the 'asset' would execute a strike of opportunity. They were instructed to even arrange weaponry and means if the asset needed it.

Every 'trigger' has only one asset, an asset can have three or four triggers, and some triggers are assets in training. The triggers don't seem to know much about when the asset was recruited or turned. It's like they believe he was always an asset. The caliphate is like the focus of a spiritual patriotism and all it takes for an asset is a whisper like 'you are up next'. All assets and triggers have to be sworn to martyrdom, and the current objective is a statement from the daesh that it's back.

A base has already been tried for in Malaysia, with some politicians helping them. They cannot enter pakistain due to enmity with the taliban, which is ironically a good thing for now. Some people seem to helping them in southern India. A good number of daesh supporters are currently operating, collecting resources and recruiting on the internet from London. The general MO is for now congregating in houses and places owned or arranged by 'triggers'. The paris police killer was the first such attack. The idea seems to be to attack confidence in military and police and demonstrating that the protectors can become killers.

The info is, everybody will be seeing attempts by muslim soldiers in their respective militaries and police organizations to pick up service weapons and attack their fellows or civs. A notification has already gone out to various agencies with a list of characteristics that may be used to identify possible triggers and assets. Some of these traits are a sudden change in religious habits, effecting familiarity with colleagues and a display of sincerity or camaraderie, growth of odd facial hair, and a lot of time spent praying. Also shared has been a list of warnings and suggestions like holding off promotions of 'questionable' immigrant origin personnel to positions in armament and air command authority.

Still developing.

#1  Where'd this information come from? Where are the citations?

And before anyone starts more playground insults, this is how adults discuss affairs. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

Or is this leaking classified information about an investigation in progress? If so a report needs to be made to the appropriate authorities.

#4  is this leaking classified information about an investigation in progress?

I never trade barbs with people on the internet, or anywhere really. It's uncharitable and puerile. I tried to think up some word describing such monumental assholery that being a suicidal liberal voter pales in comparison to it. But then I deleted it. Now I know what a troll does to people and am richer for it, thanks to Herb.

As for the citations and evidence, they do not exist yet, apart from seemingly unrelated stuff being written off in the media as one-off lone wolf attacks and arrest reports. Which is why my input's in yellow. You can choose to ignore it, the mods can take it down. But this is going down now. There's no chance the media can capitalize it even if they wanted to. No story here, that does not 'endanger the social fabric itself'. A lump of hot coal really.

If my info is correct, we shall be seeing an increasing number of 'inexplicable' incidents on bases, cantonments, police stations, public services etc. They will be carried out by people living among us for years, those who have earned our trust, wear our colors. All I'm saying is, the incidents would not be unrelated, they are meant to be concerted. Granted, they're going to be pathetic and desperate, a bid to recruit more losers. But the very knowledge of such attempts seems to have inadvertently wizened us somehow. The french are disarming their 'likely loons', the british have blown this up in the faces of the bureaucrats who push for diversity in srvices. Some people better than I are going to be soon writing about this.

God Bless the French, the English, the Malaysian SB for sharing and cooperating. Many seem to be correcting course. I hope to God, every house is able to contain this, without incident. Godspeed to all uniforms out there.

#5  I'm not "trolling", I'm being skeptical about some very strange claims. I then asked for more information and sources. That's not trolling. It's the correct response.

It also struck me that it might be classified information from an investigation in progress, so I aired that concern as well. Also a prudent step, as anyone here knows.

#13  There are some things that do not seem to change, Herb McCoy’s response to bad actions by Muslims being one of them.

Moving back to thoughtful discussion, as I first read through Dron66046’s highlighted commentary, yesterday’s events and the sudden spurt of jihadi attacks by those previously quiescent fit into his proposed pattern. In the old Cold War days they used to be call sleeper agents. And we know from recent arrests that Iran has a slew of them here in addition to the Sunni ones. G(r)omgoru’s incredulous 4 years of training???? in the Pensacola base shooting thread underlines the sleeper aspect, as does the fact that the Saudis thoroughly vetted shooter Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani as well as the six other Saudis arrested last night for involvement.

No doubt the honourable rank and file investigators at the FBI are happy to have something better to think about than the nonsense their senior officers have been getting up to in recent years.

That's why I asked for sources, if it's public then great, plus the info gets reinforced and we can cross-check with other sources with a few web searches.

#21  You don’t have to believe Dron66046, Mr. McCoy. Watch the world and the reports here, and draw your own conclusions based on the evidence. But I have found his descriptions and explanations of events in his own country compelling, and am therefore inclined to trust his broader claims.

It is true that ISIS has reportedly not found a welcome in Pakistan’s crowded jihadi field, and we’ve had reports here — I posted a number from the Afghan press — that in Afghanistan ISIS is being attacked by the Taliban as well as by Afghan government forces. And the other day I did ask why the sudden cluster of knife attacks in England and Europe.

It could be that the sight of Christmas markets is triggering to a certain type, but it is also possible that the sleeper agents ISIS boasted of sending in with the flood of asylum seekers following Angela Merkel’s invitation in 2015 really exist, and the various agencies are finally getting serious about doing something.

One of Rantburg’s strengths over the years has been the reports and perspective from locals in various parts of the world. Dron66046 is not unique for us, only our newest addition. But like True German Ally of blessed memory, who reported advising Angela Merkel, playing chess with Pope Benedict when he was a mere bishop, and pointing out Rantburg to Donald Rumsfeld (not to mention enjoying the hospitality of both Nazi concentration camps and Soviet gulags in his youth), he reports from deep within areas of interest to us.

What would pass for acceptable evidence? Pay slips and W-4s for the past 5 years? Strategic planning documents in Arabic? Expense account reimbursements? A Wikipedia article?

We don't always have the luxury of direct evidence. In science, we make up stories about how the world works. Then we make predictions based on those stories and go look for evidence our stories are true. Sometimes there is something we can measure directly, sometimes the evidence is indirect, sometimes we have to wait for the results as a process plays out.

Dron told us a story about the world. He also made some very definite predictions of events that will occur if this story is true:
If my info is correct, we shall be seeing an increasing number of 'inexplicable' incidents on bases, cantonments, police stations, public services etc. They will be carried out by people living among us for years, those who have earned our trust, wear our colors.

Note the phrase "increasing number". That's the tell for whether he is correct.

I realize this contradicts certain pet theories that Islamists are really nice people who just want to be left alone. But let's just wait and watch, shall we? Time will tell.

#24  I will share the international notification as soon as the media reveals anything. In my country the equivalent level would be 'sensitive-unclassified'.

I know our media, and they won't run with the truth as is. No, they'll try to remix the song that 'muslims have their backs to walls because of us, we need to show love', 'the umma is alienated' etc. They will not disseminate something that they believe will produce mistrust and negativity. Not out of concern but because it's not good for business.

A campaign is being prepared to warn citizens and reach out to muslim communities to be vigilant and to help in averting such things. Print and visual outreach, tear jerking fraternity and bonding over eid and the sort.

This is where you are going into the weeds. Rantburg is a news aggregator for the War on Terror. Rantburg is not a debating society. It branches off into Non-WoT, Politix and whatever Fred puts up with because everything is deeply inter-twingled, but the basis is the WoT.

The commentary consists mainly of analysis, snark and opinion. As far as I can tell, a majority of the posters are either in the business, domain experts or were there when the festivities originally jumped off. The rest are either interested in the world or enjoy playing intel-analyst.

tl:dr: the goal of the discussion here is not to own the other side, but to figure out what the hell is going on, how it will evolve, and how to respond. Your pyramid is simply not applicable to this domain.

#7  I looked up Mr. Bloomberg’s Wikipedia page. BS electrical engineer, Harvard MBA, partner in Salomon Bros. before going out on his own. Currently worth about $58 billion. Clearly opportunistic about political parties:

A lifelong Democrat before seeking elective office, Bloomberg switched his party registration in 2001 to run for mayor as a Republican. He won a second term in 2005, and left the Republican Party two years later. Bloomberg campaigned to change the city's term limits law, and was elected to his third term in 2009 as an independent on the Republican ballot line.

He announced on November 24, 2019 that he is seeking the Democratic Party's nomination in the 2020 presidential election.

Iraq
Three Peshmerga killed as Islamic State attacks in Diyala continue to increase
[Rudaw] Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) button men last night attacked a Peshmerga infantry brigade in the village of Deke Sarcham, southwest of Khanaqin, killing three Peshmerga fighters and injuring two others.

The three Peshmerga killed in the attack are from the towns of Kifri, Chamchamal and Darbandikhan.

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF, known in Arabic as Hashd al-Shaabi) have been supporting the Peshmerga alongside the Iraqi Army. A PMF fighter was also killed in the attack.

ISIS snipers took advantage of poor visibility brought on by foggy weather conditions to conduct the attack.

A paramedic called to the scene detailed how the adverse weather conditions made it difficult to reach those injured.

"We were unable to reach the injuries because the road was too foggy that we couldn’t see even at 10 meters," Afshin Mahmoud said. "We could only save two injured Peshmerga. They are now well."

ISIS button men reorganized over the summer and have been well-trained as snipers.

Graphic: Maps4news, Sarkawt Mohammed / Rudaw

According to the information from Peshmerga intelligence, 12 ISIS button men conducted the attack; close to 40 more were deployed as supporting forces.

"ISIS button men are hiding in the vegetation alongside the Sirwan river. They are planning their attacks there," said Omed Majid, head of Kalar’s police directorate.

President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani - who is also General Commander of the Region’s armed forces ‐ said the attack was proof of the threat the group continue to pose.

"The ISIS (ISIS) attack on a Kurdistan Peshmerga brigade following a string of recent terrorist attacks of the past months in Kirkuk and Garmiyan areas is proof of the fact that ISIS has not ended. They are still a security threat to the peace and Asayesh. The fight to exterminate this dangerous enemy of humanity continues," a Thursday statement from the President read.

"We are assuring the people of Kurdistan that the Peshmerga forces and other armed forces of Kurdistan are as always, on alert to repelling and defeating any move turbans make and to protecting the land and the people of Kurdistan from any danger," he added.

ISIS has in recent days conducted a spate of attacks in Diyala province against the Peshmerga, Iraqi Army and PMF.

In the past ten days, three Asayesh (internal Kurdish security force) members and three Peshmerga fighters have been killed in the attacks, with six more injured.

Among Iraqi forces, two army soldiers and six PMF fighters were killed. More than a dozen fighters have been injured, as have three civilians.

Pressure on US Education Dept. to stop funding anti-Israel programs
[Jpost] Eighty-eight groups have appealed to the US Department of Education to prevent federal funding from being used for Middle East Studies programs at universities and colleges that support an academic boycott of Israel.

In a letter to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, the civil rights, education and religious organizations groups led by the AMCHA Initiative, which combats antisemitism on campuses, cited several cases where faculty members across the US "demonstrated the willingness... to implement the academic boycott of Israel on their campuses.
Wanna stop this shit? Refuse student loans for use at those institutions
"Last September, a University of Michigan professor who supports the academic boycott of Israel refused to write a letter of recommendation for a student wanting to study at Tel Aviv University," the letter states. "In November, the entire faculty body at Pitzer College voted to suspend the school’s study abroad program at the University of Haifa, in compliance with the academic boycott of Israel; And in March of this year, New York University’s Department of Social and Cultural Analysis passed a resolution of non-cooperation with the university’s school in Israel."

Russia arrests conman who built fake border with Finland
[THEGUARDIAN] Russian authorities have detained a man who built a fake frontier post in the woods near the country’s border with Finland and promised migrant workers he could smuggle them into the Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an Union.

The man erected mock border posts and charged four men from south Asia more than $10,000 to take them to EU member Finland, the Russian border guard service said on Wednesday.

"The man never planned to carry out his promises," Interfax news agency said.

Authorities did not specify the nationalities of the would-be migrants colonists involved in the incident, which took place on Thursday last week.

He installed sham fence posts purportedly marking the state border between Russia and Finland and took the group on a circuitous route in the Vyborg region by car and on foot, at one point marching around a lake with an inflatable boat, "just in case". All five were later detained.

Video footage showed men standing in the darkness among fir trees, their hands up in the air.

On Wednesday, a court in Saint Petersburg fined the migrants colonists and ordered their deportation.

IDF says Hezbollah, undeterred after recent setbacks, beefing up border presence
[IsraelTimes] A year after military began operation to destroy terror group’s attack tunnels and despite internal Lebanese woes, Hezbollah still ’plans to attack’ Israel, officer says.

A year after uncovering a network of cross-border Hezbollah tunnels, the Israel Defense Forces said Thursday that the Lebanese terror group has beefed up its presence along the volatile frontier.

Military officials said that neither the destruction of the tunnels, nor Hezbollah’s recent domestic problems, have weakened the group’s desire to prepare for renewed conflict with Israel.

"We have a very serious enemy," said Col. Roy Levy, the Northern Border Brigade commander, during a tour of the area. He said the terror group’s main focus is to entrench itself along the border area and "plan to attack us."

Israel and Hezbollah fought a month-long war in 2006 that ended in a UN-brokered ceasefire. While direct fighting has been rare since then, there has been occasional violence, most recently on September 1 when Hezbollah fired a barrage of anti-tank missiles into the country and Israel responded with artillery fire.

Israel also has acknowledged carrying out scores of Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s in neighboring Syria, many of them believed to have been aimed at Iranian weapons shipments bound for its Hezbollah proxy.

Israel considers Hezbollah to be its most immediate threat, saying the group has amassed an arsenal of some 130,000 rockets and missiles capable of striking virtually anywhere in Israel. More recently, it has accused the group of trying to import or develop guided missiles.

Last December, Israel announced that it had uncovered a network of tunnels that it said Hezbollah was building with the aim of infiltrating and carrying out terror attacks. Over several months, it systematically destroyed the structures.

Hezbollah has not commented on the tunnels, though the UN peacekeeping force UNIFIL has said the group violated the 2006 ceasefire.

In recent years, Israel says Hezbollah has taken over houses in southern Lebanese border villages to hide soldiers, ammunition, cameras and intelligence-gathering equipment.

Levy pointed across the tree-lined frontier to several small shacks that he said were Hezbollah positions, just a few hundred meters away from Israeli residents. "Civilians, farmers, children drive here every day," he said.

In addition to the loss of its tunnels, Hezbollah has suffered other setbacks in recent months. Its patron Iran, suffering from US sanctions, is currently being rocked by mass demonstrations in which over 200 people have reportedly been killed.

Leb has also experienced nationwide protests over the past two months against widespread corruption and mismanagement. Some of that anger has been directed toward Hezbollah, which is now seen as part of the ruling class that has wrecked the country’s economy.

But Levy said he has seen no changes in the group’s behavior.

"They have a lot of cameras, a lot of forces along the border, camouflaged," he said.

Stunning News in Canada – Economy Loses 71,200 Jobs, Unemployment Jumps to 5.9%…
Mock away, Trudeau
[Last Refuge] Elections have consequences. On the same day the U.S. economy reports astoundingly successful jobs growth of 226,000 jobs and a drop in the unemployment rate to 3.5 percent; the Canadian state economic minister reports surprisingly terrible jobs losses of 72,200 jobs and a jump in unemployment from 5.5 to 5.9 percent.
Smirk away, Fidel's Boy
The Canadian economy is roughly one-tenth the size of the U.S. So in equivalent terms the results from Canada reflect a comparative loss of 720,000 jobs on the same day the U.S. revises all figures upward to over 300,000 gains. A stunning economic contrast:

OTTAWA (Reuters) ‐ The Canadian job market lost a surprise 71,200 net positions in November while the unemployment rate rose to 5.9%, the highest in more than a year, data showed on Friday, as analysts said a repeat of the weak numbers could force the Bank of Canada to rethink its monetary policy.

Analysts in a Reuters poll had forecast a gain of 10,000 jobs and had predicted the unemployment rate would hold steady at 5.5%. [...] November's numbers followed a weak report in October, when the labor market unexpectedly shed jobs despite a likely boost from hiring related to the federal election.

[...] Canada's goods-producing industries saw a decline of 26,600 net jobs, largely on manufacturing. The services sector lost 44,400 net jobs.

Novembers unemployment rate was the highest seen since the 6.0% reported in August 2018. 38,400 full-time jobs and 32,800 part-time jobs were lost in November.

It is worth remembering that Canada does not allow competition in their media sector. The Canadian government considers the news media a protected "cultural industry"; and through a process of subsidizing broadcast all news media is essentially state run media.

Why is this important? Well, when the expressed priority of the government is controlling broadcast information if you are intellectually honest you should apply that same ideological outlook toward any information from the government in a general sense.
State-Controlled Media
The Canadian election was held on October 21st, 2019. The central control government of Justin Trudeau would likely hold-back any negative economic information in an effort to support the ideology of the central government and maintain public opinion in advance of the voting. However, with the election over the economic books need to be reconciled.

Iraq
Kirkuk police officer killed in roadside blast
[Rudaw] One police officer died and two were severely injured after their vehicle struck an IED in the Panja Ali neighborhood of Kirkuk on Friday.

A Rudaw news hound at the scene reported that a roadside kaboom caused the police vehicle to explode while worshipers in Panja Ali were leaving mosques after Friday prayers. A number of people were maimed, and a Kurdish member of the emergency police named Karwan Osman Yasin died as a result of his injuries.

No one has grabbed credit for the attack, but Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) sleeper cells have conducted similar attacks in the past.

Kirkuk province is a disputed territory claimed by both the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) and the Iraqi Federal government.

After the Iraqi armed forces fled the advancing Islamic State (ISIS) in 2014 and Kurdish Peshmerga forces stepped in to defend Kirkuk,
... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time...
the city fell under the control of the KRG. Iraqi forces then drove the Peshmerga out of Kirkuk in October 2017 in the wake of the Kurdish independence referendum.

ISIS frequently takes advantage of the lack of cooperation between the Iraqi and Kurdish armed forces to launch attacks in Kirkuk.

Several people were maimed on November 30 after two explosions took place in downtown Kirkuk and in the countryside surrounding the city.

On November 11, five Italian soldiers were maimed in a roadside IED blast in Kirkuk while conducting counter-terrorism training for the Iraqi armed forces.

ISIS has increased its attacks in other disputed areas as well. The most recent attack was in Diyala province’s Kolajo (Golajo) sub-district on Wednesday, killing three Peshmerga fighters.

Turkey appoints mayors in recently invaded northern Syrian towns
[Rudaw] Sari Kani and Gire Spi, Syrian towns recently occupied by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
, were assigned new mayors by the Ottoman Turkish government.

Abdullah Erin, the governor of Turkey’s Sanliurfa province, which borders Syria, said that Turkey has appointed mayors for both Gire Spi and Sari Kani "in order to create a coordination" in the areas.

Ottoman Turkish forces and their Syrian proxies launched the ironically titled Operation Peace Spring against the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on October 9 and took control of both Sari Kani (Ras al-Ain) and Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) after weeks of fierce fighting.

Governor Erin visited both towns on Thursday, meeting with Ottoman Turkish military and intelligence officials as well as the commanders of pro-Turkey Syrian militia groups.

"We evaluated the services provided and planned in Tel Abyad in coordination with the local council and other authorities after the Operation Peace Spring," read a tweet from the governor.

The governor also said that Turkey has started providing various municipal services including water, energy, health centers, education and infrastructure, according to a statement from his office.

Ibrahim Madenli, the head of Governor Erin’s media office, told Rudaw that the newly appointed mayors have already begun working. He did not provide a specific start date, but a source in the area told Rudaw that the mayors have been in office for a week.

The Ottoman Turkish government took similar steps in other areas of Syria it has occupied over the past few years, appointing officials and controlling infrastructure and access to services after capturing al-Bab, Jarabulus, and Azaz in 2016 and Afrin in 2018.

The Ottoman Turkish governor said on Tuesday that, "Turkey has opened its arms to Syrian refugees and has met all kinds of their needs. We will continue to stand with our Syrian brothers."

However,
it was a brave man who first ate an oyster...
Turkey has been accused of marginalizing Kurds in formerly Kurdish-majority towns like Afrin, Sari Kani and Gire Spi. Sources in Syria say that Kurds are prevented from assuming leadership positions, the Kurdish language is being excluded from the education curriculum and Kurdish language signs have been removed from local government institutions.

Kurds no longer represent a majority in areas that have been invaded by Turkey; the majority of the Kurdish population, fearing oppression in the wake of Ottoman Turkish incursions into Syria, has fled to Kurdish-controlled areas such as Tel Rafaat and Hasaka. Those who have remained have faced looting and oppression.

Lebanon protests are dividing the country’s struggling media
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The ongoing protests in Leb have divided the country’s media along new lines and placed further stress on an already struggling industry ‐ but also offered opportunities for new platforms to emerge.

"One camp supports the revolution, and the other still conveys the narrative of the ruling power," said Matthieu Karam, the head of the web journalism department at the Beirut-based French-language publication L’Orient-le Jour.

This is a new dividing line in the country’s media landscape, which previously reflected the divide that emerged in 2005: between the March 14 Alliance, which opposes Syria’s interference in the country, and the pro-Syrian March 8 Alliance, made up of Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement

Buttgieg not allowed to talk about his McKinsey tenure...
[LA Times] By presidential campaign standards, Pete Buttigieg has been pretty much an open book ‐ but with one chapter missing.
We're still "in the closet" on that
The Democratic South Bend, Ind., mayor has let reporters sit on his campaign bus and pelt him with questions until they get tired; he’s spoken at length about his personal experience coming out as a gay man; he’s shown a willingness to face some of his most withering critics.

But Buttigieg won’t talk about his three years of work for McKinsey & Co., the famous, secretive ‐ and lately, notorious ‐ management consulting firm.

Almost a decade after leaving McKinsey in 2010, Buttigieg is still bound by a nondisclosure agreement that his campaign says McKinsey is refusing to lift, leaving a large hole in the 37-year-old’s otherwise closely examined life story.
10 years, huh. Almost as if....
"We have asked McKinsey to be released from the NDA in full, and we have asked McKinsey if we can release a list of clients," campaign spokesman Sean Savett said. "To date, they have not agreed. We will continue to ask and are eager to share more about his work as soon as we are able."

Iran says no stop to ballistic missile program
[IsraelTimes] Iran says it is not going to halt or curb activity on its ballistic missile program, in a letter to the UN from envoy Majid Takhte Ravanchi dated from Wednesday.

Ravanchi writes that a November 21 complaint about the missile program to the UN Security Council from France, Britain and Germany is unfounded and based on faulty materials.
"We're not doing that and we're not going to stop!"
“Iran is determined to resolutely continue its activities related to ballistic missiles and space launch vehicles,” Ravanchi writes in a copy of the letter tweeted by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif.

In a letter circulated Wednesday, ambassadors from the three European nations urged UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to inform the council in his next report that Iran’s ballistic missile activity is “inconsistent” with the call in a council resolution endorsing the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran.

US Navy, Air Force team up on new ‘Manhattan Project'
[Defense News] WASHINGTON ‐ The U.S. Navy and Air Force are teaming up to rapidly develop a network that can link together Air Force and Navy assets during battle, an effort the Navy’s top officer compared to the 1940s program to develop an atomic bomb.

Adm. Michael Gilday, the new Chief of Naval Operations, told an audience Thursday that in order to take on China, the Navy will have to spread out and rely on networked weapons and sensors distributed over a wide area. But doing that would rely on a network architecture that doesn’t yet exist.

To be the most effective force, the Navy acknowledges it must be able to connect with Air Force bombers and aircraft, leading the two services to an agreement to join forces.

"I think the biggest challenge for us is to join all the main command and control," Gilday said. "We’re building netted weapons, netted platforms, and netted [command-and-control] nodes, but we don’t have an adequate net, and that’s a critical piece."

60 Minutes genetic aging process reversal update
[60 Minutes] The geneticist whose work helped map the human genome, the first step in the quest to manipulate what is essentially the software of human life, says reversing the aging process in humans may be less than 20 years away. George Church takes Scott Pelley into his Harvard Medical School lab to see his latest work for a 60 Minutes report to be broadcast Sunday, December 8, at 7:30 p.m. ET and 7 p.m. PT on CBS.
Just imagine a world with Pelosi controlling the US House for centuries ...
Thanks to Church and others whose work decoded DNA, called the building blocks of life, the day when humans will no longer be prone to viruses or genetic diseases is coming. But one of the next breakthroughs could be reversing the basic process of age itself. "Age reversal is something that's been proven about eight different ways on animals," says Church. He tells Pelley that in mice, tissue damage has been repaired, reaction times sped up and cognition improved.

Knowing the specific functions of genes in a creature's DNA allows scientists to edit or add genes to the sequence and change outcomes. A paper just published by Church and several other scientists shows how added multiple genes in mice improved heart and kidney function and levels of blood sugar. "The gene function is going down [with age] and so we're boosting it back up by putting in extra copies of the gene," he explains, saying that this is gene therapy.

The next step toward replicating this science in humans is to achieve the same results in a clinical trial using dogs that he is conducting now. The process could be perfected in humans in less than 20 years says Church. "That veterinary product might be a couple years away. And then that takes another 10 years to get through the human clinical trials."

Climate, Not Conflict, Drove Many Syrian Refugees to Lebanon
In which the AFP reporter demonstrates a little knowledge without historic perspective quickly leads down a predetermined wrong path. Genesis tells of a period of drought that led Abraham and Sarah to find refuge in Egypt, and another drought that sent Jacob and his sons to find refuge there again.
[AnNahar] People who fled Syria in recent years are often viewed as war refugees because of the violence that has engulfed much of the country since 2011.

But those from the northern and northeastern parts of Syria may more accurately be viewed as climate refugees, fleeing not a worsening conflict but an increasingly severe drought.

I have been studying various aspects of water and food security in the Middle East for a long time. Now I have begun a new project studying the social and economic conditions needed to repatriate rural refugees to the farming communities in Syria.

Day 2: Saudi king orders security services to cooperate with U.S. in probe of Florida shooting, six Saudis arrested near base, manifesto posted on Twitter
Yesterday’s events can be seen here.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia’s King Salman told U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday he has directed his security services to cooperate with U.S. authorities investigating the deadly shooting at a Florida military base and assured him the "perpetrator of this heinous crime" does not represent the Saudi people.

King Salman expressed "his sorrow and grief" over the shooting, the Saudi embassy in Washington said in a statement after a phone call between the two leaders.

"His Majesty affirmed that the perpetrator of this heinous crime does not represent the Saudi people, who count the American people as friends and allies," the statement said. The king "directed Saudi security services to cooperate with the relevant American agencies to uncover information that will help determine the cause of this horrific attack."

Six Saudis are arrested over Pensacola naval base shooting including three who FILMED the attack by countryman who killed three and wounded eight before being shot dead - as FBI probes terror link

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Shooting took place on base early Friday morning, sparking a lockdown

  • Sources identified the suspected gunman as Saudi Air Force aviation student Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, who was armed with a hand gun

  • As of Friday evening, six Saudi nationals were detained near the base for questioning

  • It's reported that three of them filmed the shooting as it happened

  • Rep Matt Gaetz, a Republican representing Pensacola, called the shooting 'an act of terrorism'

  • President Trump tweeted that King Salman told him 'the Saudi people are greatly angered by the barbaric actions of the shooter...'

  • Three other people were shot and killed during incident inside classroom building on base
The Saudi Air Force trainee who killed three and injured eight when he opened fire at a naval base in Florida on Friday assailed the United States as 'a nation of evil' just before his shooting rampage, AFP reports.

The man, identified as Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, opened fire inside a classroom at Naval Air Station in Pensacola early Friday morning. Police quickly responded to the scene and he was shot dead.

Alshamrani was a second lieutenant attending the aviation school at the base. The Pentagon say his training with the US military began in August 2016, and was due to finish in August 2020.

On Friday evening, the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors jihadist media, claimed they had tracked a Twitter account belonging to Alshamrani which featured a disturbing tweet written just hours before the shooting.

'I'm against evil, and America as a whole has turned into a nation of evil,' the tweet read.

'I'm not against you for just being American, I don't hate you because your freedoms, I hate you because every day you supporting, funding and committing crimes not only against Muslims but also humanity,' Alshamrani wrote.

ABC News reported that investigators were working to determine if if the tweet was in fact written by the shooter.

The Twitter account that posted the manifesto - which also condemned US support for Israel and included a quote from Al-Qaeda's deceased leader, the Saudi Osama bin Laden - has now been suspended.

In recent weeks, 18 naval aviators and two aircrew members from the Royal Saudi Naval Forces were training with the US Navy, including at Pensacola, according to a November 15 press release from the Navy. It was not clear if the suspected shooter was part of that delegation.

The delegation came under a Navy program that offers training to US allies, known as the Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity.

A person familiar with the program said that Saudi Air Force officers selected for military training in the United States are intensely vetted by both countries.

Withdraw our troops from the Middle East. We don't need their dirty oil any more. We are self-sufficient and produce more than Saudi Arabia today. Let those camel fuckers drown in their own shit.

Bomb them with money instead. I'm talking about loose pallets of US currency of all denominations, pushed out of the back of C-17s over towns and rural areas, It would work better and cost less than what we're spending on endless war right now. Moreover it would stop breeding more terrorists and those people would be alive today.

What we're doing today isn't working. Let's win this and get the troops home.

#9  Three of the hijackers from 9/11 had the addresses on their driver’s licenses listed as being at NAS Pensacola. Fifteen of them were Saudi nationals, all backed by Bin Laden.

The real crime here is that saudi nationals or any fucking muslims were even allowed near aviation bases after 9/11.

It's not like the sheikhs in Riyadh would have whined about 'treatment' after what happened. A nation loses thousands in an attack, people understand if you can't trust them. But politicians never even tried. The first really masculine thing was done by Trump when he called for a blanket ban on muslim immigrants.

No, bombings in the Muslim world. As the man literally says. Has nothing to do with specific countries of the Westphalian variety.

The US has created victimized youth all over the Umma, which this Saudi acted on behalf of. It's like if someone started killing Iowans, and you'd be like, "well I'm from Pennsylvania so I don't care." We're all Americans.

#23  A) Muslim consider themselves part of a group called 'the Umma', which is their global faith community

B) Many Muslims yearn for that 'Umma' to unite and have its own state (the Caliphate); the issue being that beyond that they agree on very little; on how to apply Sharia, what form the government should have etc.

C) In any case, there is a sense of belonging which could meet the criteria. Therefore, they could be considered a nation, much like Jews are considered and many consider themselves part of the Jewish nation.

D) So, once we see those that see themselves part of the Umma and that this Umma should have its own state as a nation, you can understand the frustration of some people with this whole deal. I would have expected Rantburgers of all people to know all of this already, but I guess not.

But giving cash to fund jihad a good idea? Which by the way is why Barry should be charged with treason.

Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".

Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward."

Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitan (Satan)"

Quran (4:89) - "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them.

Iraqi Commission for Human Rights warns of possible ‘massacre’ in Baghdad
[Rudaw] Iraqi High Commission for Human Rights (IHCHR) issued a statement warning that a "security escalation" in central Baghdad might lead to a "massacre" of protesters in the area.

According to AP, unknown gangs opened fire on protesters late Friday in Baghdad’s Khilani Square. At least 15 people died and more than 60 others were maimed.

IHCHR also called on the security forces to bring back "stability" to the squares and streets where protests are taking place, and stated that these forces are responsible for the lives of the protesters.

Currently, unidentified gangs are pushing protesters stationed in Khilani Square, Ahrar Bridge, and Sinak Bridge back toward Tahrir Square, the central locus of the protest movement in Baghdad.

Ahrar, Sinak and al-Jimhuriyah bridges all lead to the Green Zone (also known as the international zone), the heavily fortified safe haven of the Iraqi federal government and the location of all of Baghdad’s foreign embassies and diplomatic missions.

Turkish military reinforcements head to Idlib after Syrian Army attack
[ALMASDARNEWS] Ottoman Turkish military reinforcements were observed heading to Syria’s Idlib Governorate this week after their troops came under attack by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

According to the reports, the Ottoman Turkish military sent reinforcements to the eastern countryside of the Idlib Governorate, which is where their troops were attacked earlier in the week.

The Syrian Arab Army had targeted the Ottoman Turkish observation post area after rockets fired by the jihadist rebels hit their positions near the Abu Dhuhour Airport.

While the Ottoman Turkish Armed Forces did not retaliate for the attack, they made a complaint to the Russian Reconciliation Center.

Seasonal UPS employee confesses to stealing over $1,000 worth of packages

[10 News] MIAMI, Fla. ‐ A seasonal worker for UPS has been arrested following accusations of package theft.

Emmanuel Lamont Reggin Jr. has been charged with third-degree theft, which is a felony.
Hair care products ?
According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, Reggin was hired as a seasonal worker to help a full-time driver unload packages. On Monday, Reggin helped unload approximately 5,500 packages at a company in Northeast Miami-Dade, the police said.

While the other UPS employee was not looking, Reggin grabbed several boxes and hid them by a dumpster, police said. Inside the boxes were two Amazon Kindles, an Apple iPad 7 and a Microsoft Surface Pro. The merchandise was valued at about $1,800, according to the police.
So, Felony
Later in the evening, police said that Reggin returned to the dumpster and picked up the packages.

On December 3, Reggin was helping unload 2,500 packages at a separate location, where he took several packages and hid them by a dumpster, the police said. In the packages were an HP laptop and two Sony PS4 consoles, and police said that the merchandise totaled about $1,050.

The manager at the business found the packages under the dumpster, and after reviewing surveillance footage, contacted UPS investigator Jose Ortiz. Ortiz then met with the business owner and Miami-Dade police.

Reggin returned to the business to pick up the packages, but when he saw police, he fled the scene. He was stopped several blocks away and taken into custody, according to police.
"Feets doan fail me naow! Oh, crap"
The two Kindles were recovered from the trunk of Reggin's vehicle, and police say he confessed to the crimes. The Apple iPad 7 and Microsoft Surface Pro were later recovered from Reggin's residence.
