Commanders Coach Fined $100,000 After Downplaying Jan. 6
[Townhall] At this point it is known if you speak out against the radical left’s narrative, they will come for you. An NFL coach is under hot water for giving his opinion, a First Amendment right, not the January 6 debacle.

The Washington Commanders fined its defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio $100,000 after downplaying the events that took place last year at the Capitol.

Del Rio compared the Jan. 6 protests at the Capitol with the "riots, looting and burning" that destroyed thousands of businesses and cities during the summer of 2020.

During a press conference earlier this week, Del Rio said "Why are we not looking into those things? If we're going to talk about it, why are we not looking into those things?...I see the images on TV. People's livelihoods are being destroyed. Businesses are being burned down — no problem. And then we have a dust-up at the Capitol, nothing burned down, and we're going to make that a major deal."
Perhaps 'dust-up' infuriated the official narrative.

#4  Del Rio is a straight-up guy, but discovered he should consider the context of being at a company presser in a company uniform, with a paranoid head coach and owner. Snyder is under serious pressure by the NFL to lose control of the "Redskins", (I'm a native Washingtonian and will never think of shaming the team with that doofus name, I had season tickets for a brief time at RFK Stadium and watched the Skins beat Miami in the Rose Bowl in person), so Jack got smacked hard to keep his boss out of more trouble. Pity

#5  If it was a football-related press conference, I can see team management being annoyed that he brought up politics. If he was answering a direct question on the subject, though, or responding to something another of the speakers said, that’s different.

The Latest Mask Research Is Bad News For Branch Covidians
[Townhall] Unless you’re visiting a medical facility still taken in by the mask-cult or you live in a big city or some obscure California county run by hypochondriac Democrat whack-jobs, you’re probably generally living your life without being forced to wear a useless, bacteria-laden piece of t-shirt material over your face. However, if your overlords have gone out of their way to clarify that mask mandates have only been lifted because Covid rates have gone down or even that recent iterations of the virus have become less deadly, they are purposefully missing the overall picture and slyly holding on to the pretext that will invite the insanity back at any point - that masks "work" to stop or curb the spread of highly contagious respiratory viruses.

A University of Louisville study released in May 2022 found that mask mandates and greater compliance resulting from them "did not predict lower growth rates when community spread was low (minima) or high (maxima)." The study, which used CDC data across several seasons, found that mask usage and mandates "are not associated with lower SARS-CoV-2 spread among US states."

Remember that CDC study purporting to show that school masking was effective? Did you wonder what the results would have been if someone had conducted a higher quality study over a greater sample size and period of time? Ambarish Chandra of University of Toronto and Dr. Tracy Hoeg of University of California, Davis did exactly that with this Lancet study titled, "Revisiting Pediatric COVID-19 Cases in Counties With and Without School Mask Requirements—United States, July 1—October 20 2021." Their results: "... no significant relationship between mask mandates and case rates." Color me shocked.

My most common Maskaholic rebuttals have been.

Why do you think wearing a NON-Medical Mask will protect you from a deadly Medical situation?

Or

OH! N-95/KN-95, so 5% of the air is still infecting you?

So many Real Experts have been flamed / blackballed too many times, over the last 18 months. Simply for pointing out, cloth is nothing but a dust rag and virus collector.

Or pointing out that the paper 3 ply masks filtering ability fall seriously short of the c-19 Virus size. Hence, why DR. Fake started up with double masking.

The Media owes a lot of people serious apologies for questioning their professional and ethical standings for presenting REAL FACTS.

Death Toll Rises: Man Dies Of Heart Attack Year-And-A-Half After Eating Corndog At January 6 Riot
[Babylon Bee] U.S.—The death toll is continuing to rise in connection with the devastating January 6th riots, as one of the attendees has died of a heart attack a year-and-a-half after he was pictured eating a corndog there.

"Over a year after this horrific attack on our holy democracy, the catastrophic death toll continues to rise," said Congressman Adam Schiff. "The death of Bob Billings of a massive heart attack after eating one of the artery-clogging corndogs sold at the Capitol Riot again reminds us of how deadly and dark this dark-deadly day was. That must be, like, a thousand dead now. Those of us still here are lucky to be alive."

Congress is investigating more charges that can be brought against Trump in connection with Billings' death, in addition to the other casualties—such as those who got in car accidents on the way home from the rally, those who died of January 6th-connected myocarditis, and those who died of heartbreak due to Biden being inaugurated.

"It may be many years before we really know the true death toll of January 6th, but you can be sure we will continue to talk about it until it no longer effectively raises campaign funds for us," said Schiff.

At publishing time, Congress announced the additional January 6th death of a protestor who claimed to have dirt on Hillary Clinton.

Rep. Sean Casten's 17-year-old daughter Gwen dead
[NYPOST] Rep. Sean Casten’s 17-year-old daughter Gwen Casten died Monday morning, his office has announced.

The Illinois Democrat’s office released a short statement saying the teen passed away but did not provide any further details.

"This morning, Congressman Casten’s beloved daughter, Gwen (17), passed away," Casten’s office said. "The Casten family requests privacy, and we will be issuing no further comment during this heartbreaking time."

Gwen died inside the family’s Downers Grove home, the Chicago Tribune reported, citing local police.

Downers Grove police were called to respond to a report of an "unresponsive" 17-year-old girl at a home on the block where Casten lives just before 7 a.m. The girl was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the outlet.

Gwen was following in the footsteps of her father and fighting for social causes she cared about, her social media shows.

Rising Islamophobia in India: How Modi's BJP is spreading anti-Muslim sentiment
[France24] In India, derogatory comments about the Prophet Mohammed made two officials from India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party have sparked a mixture of deadly protests and diplomatic spats. Countries like Oman, Qatar, Malaysia and Indonesia have lodged complaints with India's ambassadors. We take a closer look and get analysis from Subir Sinha, a lecturer in development studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London.

Meanwhile, Thailand has long been known for its tough drug laws, but in recent years it's steadily liberalised them to the point that cannabis is now off the banned narcotics list. The medical tourism industry stands to benefit from the fact that cultivation and possession of marijuana has been decriminalised. But lighting up in public could still land users in jail.

And for young Afghans, an online video game called PUBG once offered a rare chance to escape the reality of Taliban rule. With limited options for entertainment, many in Kabul prefer staying indoors, where they can connect with other people playing the game online. But the authorities have now ordered a ban.

Update - Space X Gets the Go- Ahead
[HotAir] As you may be aware, Elon Musk’s SpaceX has been building massive rockets in a small town in Texas and had hoped to do a test launch earlier this year. But plans for the launch kept getting pushed back because of FAA requirements including an environmental review of the rocket’s impact on the area. Today, the FAA concluded there are no longer any environmental reasons to prevent launches from the site SpaceX calls Starbase.
I wonder what changed. Oh, I forgot. Space X was selected to partner with NASA to return to the moon.
An environmental assessment by the agency has concluded that SpaceX’s plans for orbital launches will have "no significant impact" on the region along the Gulf Coast near Brownsville, Texas. But the F.A.A. is also requiring the company to undertake more than 75 actions to minimize the impact on the surrounding areas as it begins flights of Starship, a vehicle that is central to NASA’s plans to return to the moon as well as the vision of Elon Musk, the company’s founder and chief executive, to colonize Mars...

The decision means that a more comprehensive environmental impact statement, which would have likely added years to the project, is not needed. However, the regulatory move could face other legal challenges, and SpaceX still needs to obtain a license from the F.A.A. for launches.

SpaceX’s site is in a tiny village called Boca Chica, which the company has taken to calling Starbase.

There, for several years, SpaceX has been working on Starship, a stainless steel behemoth that would be the most powerful rocket ever. Together with a booster stage, it will stand nearly 400 feet high, taller than the Statue of Liberty and its pedestal.

    Stealth Technology
[Micromag] UAV market is tough in terms of operating requirements for a wide variety of missions, both on the tactical and strategical levels. Across all missions two variables are key; Radar Cross Section Reduction for Low Observability and Add-On Weight.

Micromag tailor made Stealth Technology Solution allows the integration of Micromag Technology in the own body of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. This approach has a significant benefit as the add-on weight is typically in the order of tens of grams and hence not impacting in the operating payload of the platform. Additionally, having the ability to integrate in the construction process allows to deliver performances that dictate a dramatically reduced detection distance by enemy radars, up to 50%. Depicted left a body composite Radar Cross Section reduction measured in dB from 0.5 GHz up to 18GHz.

Coeur d'Alene police receive death threats for arresting Patriot Front members
[Idaho Statesman] Idaho made international headlines over the weekend when 31 masked members of a white nationalist group were arrested in Coeur d’Alene. The city’s mayor and police chief updated the public through a news conference on Monday.

After a call from a citizen warning he had seen men “looking like a little army,” police found the members of the Patriot Front inside of a U-Haul truck during a traffic stop Saturday, according to The Spokesman-Review. They were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to riot at the North Idaho city’s Pride in the Park event.

Coeur d’Alene Police Chief Lee White provided a handful of new details at the conference, including that the riot was planned to take place on Sherman Avenue. The U-Haul was found to contain riot gear and at least one smoke grenade.

A bunch of geared-up guys tucked in a U-Haul (you know, like a big orange troop carrier)? 10-15 SUVs or pickup trucks would fit better into the normal area traffic (w/ GMRS or CB coordination), and could find a place to park easier.

'Death Threats' to officials (which seems more like what the left does, especially teacher's union and antifart folks)? Did somebody's Mom call and say 'God will punish you' (to which our very thin-skinned recipients suffered the vapors)?

    Explain the legality of
"They were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to riot..."

So I check the legal code for Idaho, there is no law on the books for arresting a person on possible "future thought acts".

    Detain for questioning, yes.

But arresting must meet certain legal steps.
    IDAHO LAW Sec. 19-603

Hell, as much as I despise the BLM, I'd still have the same legal issue for arrest on suspicion.

Because we have to protect rights of all, and not become a Liberal Socialist Demon-crats by doing it selectively.

They really do look like they're prepping the battlefield for what comes next, and that will need be something very, very ugly if they intend to maintain power through "fighting white supremacy".

More than any place in the US, locals have a sensitivity to the whole idea of "White Supremacy". Almost like the spot was selected to tap into that for the media to discover that in the memory hole. If this was a planned "event" it fits the location.

    Government Corruption
    Where's Ray Epps?
    BLUF:
[American Thinker] Like the fictional Ethan Hunt, the Agency (FBI and DOJ) has disavowed any knowledge or connection with Ray Epps. For some time, a picture of Epps appeared on an FBI website soliciting information about those who entered the Capitol on January 6th. That picture went up in a puff of smoke and, now, the FBI refuses to answer questions about him.

Nancy Pelosi and her minions are crafting their own narrative that they want to be accepted as truth. She does not want her version annoyed by questions of deplorables. That heavy-handed behavior tends to raise red flags in the minds of truth seekers. Why can’t we see all the footage covering the January 6th event in the Capitol? Why is the renowned FBI sitting on what they know about Rancher Ray?

What a mysterious guy! He lives in Arizona but makes himself famous, herding Trumpers to the Capitol. As he was exhorting action, several people loudly suggested that Ray Epps is a FED. I know I am expressing a quaint notion from America’s past, but don’t the people in the FBI and DOJ work for us, aka "We the People"?

I don’t care about Waldo, but I want to know what brought Ray Epps to Washington from Arizona and who was paying him to stir things up.

    Economy
Housing Affordability Hits Record Low As Mortgage Rates Soar To 6.1%
[Zero] Back in March, when the average mortgage rate was still "only" 4.5%, we anticipated the coming rate explosion and warned that "Housing Affordability Is About To Crash The Most On Record." Fast forward to today when the latest 30Y average mortgage has just surged to a stunning 6.13% from 3.25% at the start of the year ...

... the highest rate since the great housing crash of 2007/2008, in the process sending housing affordability - just as we warned - to the lowest on record.

Alas, it's about to get even lower, because a simple back of the envelope calculation reveals that the jump in mortgage rates from 3.25% to 6.13% means that new homebuyers face an average monthly payment on a typical new $350,000 mortgage (the median existing home sale price is just under $400K) that has gone up from $1523 to $2128, a 40% increase in 6 months!

Another way of putting this: at a 6.13% mortgage (and rates will still keep rising for a long time with the Fed now set to hike between 125bps and 150bps in the next two months), the average home price needs to fall 30% to reach pre-covid affordability.

Whether it was intended or not, the Fed is about to unleash the biggest housing crisis since the bursting of the 2007 bubble. It also means that in a few weeks, the Fed's scramble to undo the damage it has done to the US economy will make March 2020 seems like a walk in the park.

Note: The house is appraised at $45K+ more now than 4 years ago. So with our extra monthly principal payments etc., we have well over a 40% owner equality.

    -Great Cultural Revolution
Buh-Bye, Groomers: Fox News Celebrates Radical Transing of Very Young Children
[PJ] We all expected CNN and MSNBC to pull out all the stops for Pride Month, but did anyone expect Fox News to go off the deep end with a story promoting the transing of very small children? Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened over the weekend. My colleague Chris Queen reported it on Saturday:
Fox News recently featured the story of Ryland Whittington. Whittington looks like a typical American teenage boy, and in Fox News’ video, you see Whittington tossing the football with Dad and dressing like a stylish teenage boy. The problem with all of it is that Whittington isn’t a boy — Whittington is a girl who identifies as a boy, and her parents have gone along with the charade.

According to the Whittington family, Ryland indicated that she was really a boy before she could even speak.

"I could see it. It wasn’t him trying to be a brat. It was like painful. It was painful for him to have to wear feminine clothing and for us constantly telling him that you are a girl," Hillary Whittington said.
I know that conservatives are not monolithic and that Fox News has done a lot of good over the years, but this is just beyond the pale.

Fox News’ Bryan Llenas wrapped up the segment by gushing to Dana Perino—who, in fairness, looked like she was filming a hostage video—"What extraordinary courage displayed by Ryland, his sister Brinley, father, Jeff, and mom, Hillary. I want to thank the Whittington family for speaking to us. It’s not easy, particularly at a time when transgender issues have been politicized. People are afraid of what they don’t understand, Dana. This family hopes their story will lead to more understanding, more acceptance, and ultimately, more love."

    Activist Kidnapped in Libya’s Misrata

Gunmen close to Prime Minister of Libya’s Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdel-Hamid Dbaiba kidnapped an activist who filmed the PM’s convoy ramming into a car, as they passed through the city of Misrata.

The National Commission for Human Rights in Libya (NCHRL) expressed concerns about the kidnapping of Faisal Abu Bakr Belhaj from his workplace. Armed members of the GNU’s “Joint Operations Force” took Belhaj to an unknown location on Saturday.

Hours before his kidnapping, Belhaj had posted a video on Facebook, documenting the incident.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the NCHRL expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of kidnappings, enforced disappearances, and illegal detention of citizens.

“This is a grave violation against human rights and citizenship, a violation of civil and political rights, and an infringement of freedom of opinion and expression,” the NCHRL said in a statement.

It demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Belhaj, and held the PM responsible for his kidnapping. It also called on the Attorney General’s Office to open an investigation into the incident, and ensure that the perpetrators are held accountable.

The owner of the vehicle reportedly received a new car, as compensation for the incident.

Bassil warns against Line 29, says won't name Miqati as PM
    [An Nahar] Free Patriotic Movement
Despite its name a Christian party allied with Hizbullah, neither free nor particularly patriotic...
chief Jebran Bassil has warned against adopting Line 29 as it may result in "a political, media and perhaps military confrontation."

Bassil said that President Michel Aoun
...president of Leb, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hizbullah...
and Caretaker Prime minister Najib Miqati have agreed on an approach before negotiating with U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein who is due in Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...In 2020 Hezbollah blew up a considerable portion of Beirut and many of its inhabitants when its ammonium nitrate facility exploded. They blamed it on... somebody else. It wasn't them though. Trust them on that. And it ain't never coming to trial...
    on Monday.

He added that there is no unified Lebanese stance regarding Hochstein's proposal and that Israel, the U.S. and "those in Lebanon who support Israel" are trying to stop Lebanon from starting extracting its offshore gas.

On another note, Bassil said he won't name Miqati for the PM post as he re-accused him of protecting Central bank Governor Riad Salameh
...Governor of Lebanon'scentral bank, Banque du Liban since April 1993. Salameh was appointed Governor by decree, approved by the Council of Ministers for a renewable term of six years. He was reappointed for four consecutive terms; in 1999, 2005, 2011 and 2017. Salameh chairs the Banque du Liban Central Council, the Higher Banking Commission, the AML/CFT Special Investigation Commission and the Capital Markets Authority. Salameh is a member of the board of governors at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and at the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF). Salameh is the longest-serving central bank governor in the world....
. "On a personal level, I love and respect him," he added.

He named a number of MPs who, according to him, could be appointed to the post, lik Abdel Rahman Al Bizri, Fouad Makhzoumi, Nabil Badr and Rami Fanj. Bassil also mentioned Former President of the U.N. Security Council Nawaf Salam whom he said he does not support politically.

As for the upcoming Cabinet, the FPM chief said he doesn't want to be a minister and that being one in the last government was "a huge political mistake." He also denied having "ever" discussed becoming president with Aoun.

"I only become a candidate for Presidency if I announce it," he said.

UAE-backed mercenaries in Yemen sell large quantities of weapons to unknown party
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia has sold a quantity of weapons to unknown persons on Socotra Island.

According to military sources, the UAE-backed militias looted over 100 rifles of the type AK-47 and 40 boxes of ammunition, in addition to 23 anti-aircraft weapons from a camp of the 1st Marine Infantry Brigade, and sold them to unknown persons on the island, Almahriah TV reported.

According to the channel, the STC’s militia looted the weapons from one of the brigade’s battalions that had declared its loyalty to the STC, and imprisoned soldiers from Socotra because of their opposition to the sale of weapons.

Other sources suggested that the sale of weapons predicts the emergence of new terrorist groups on the island, which is occupied by Emirati forces.

These groups are likely to be used by the UAE to increase their hold over the island, and to suppress and displace the inhabitants of the island under the pretext of fighting terror, and showing their presence with the Zionist entity to "protect maritime navigation" in the Indian Ocean.

    -Lurid Crime Tales-
Georgia father kills 1-year-old daughter, her mother, and himself in murder-suicide
[NYPOST] A Georgia man kidnapped his 1-year-old daughter and fatally shot her before turning the gun on himself behind a church Sunday.

Police found the bodies of both 38-year-old Darian Javaris Bennett and his daughter, Jaquari Bennett, behind the church in Clayton County, WSB-TV Atlanta reported, citing the Newton County Sheriff’s Office.

The night before, Darian Bennett shot his baby’s mother and grandmother at a Covington home before fleeing with the child — and prompting a state-wide Amber Alert, according to police.

The child’s mother Keashawn Washington, 38, died of her gunshot wounds, while her grandmother, 63-year-old Peggy Burns was critically injured, the sheriff’s office said.

Darian Bennett shot Burns in the head, but the woman was able to tell responding officers that he shot her and her daughter and kidnapped little Jaquari before she was rushed to an area hospital.

Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: June 13th, 2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] 22:41 Kuleba addressed Western partners: "Ukraine has proved that it is capable of the impossible, and won important battles for Kiev, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkov - against all odds. Imagine what Ukraine is capable of with enough weapons. I urge partners to put a clear goal of Ukrainian victory and accelerate the delivery of heavy weapons."

22:35 In the Zaporozhye direction, the Kadyrovites launched an artillery strike on the Buryats, Arestovich said. According to him, after that the Buryats were sent to the Kherson direction, and the Kadyrovites - to Severodonetsk.

22:32 The "DPR" states that the number of victims of the shelling of allegedly Ukrainian troops of Donetsk has increased to four people, 22 civilians were injured. Pushilin claims that "Kyiv has crossed all boundaries", in the recent shelling of Donetsk, "forbidden methods of warfare" are used, and asks for help from the Russian Federation.

22:28 U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink, during a meeting with the head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov, said that "if Russia does not pay a high price for its actions, the existence of other democracies will be in jeopardy, which will mark the end of the international order based on rules, and create opportunities for aggression elsewhere."

22:23 The US Department of Defense considers the issue of preserving the state "Ukraine" resolved "in the long term." "Looking at the longer term, I think we can assure ourselves today that the country called 'Ukraine' will survive," a Pentagon spokesman said at a briefing.

22:19 Zelensky on Tuesday, June 14, will hold a press conference for the Danish media, writes UP. Denmark is called one of the countries opposing granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU membership.

22:17 The main goal of Russia's "special military operation" is to protect the "DPR" and "LPR", Peskov said.

22:11 Zelensky said that thanks to the counter-offensive, part of the communities of the Kherson region have already been liberated; "in the battles in the Donbass - and they will definitely go down in military history as one of the most brutal battles in Europe and for Europe - the Ukrainian army and our intelligence tactically still outmaneuver the Russian military, and this despite the significant advantage of the Russians in the amount of equipment, and especially in artillery systems.

It was possible to knock out the enemy from the Zhitomir region, Kiev region, Chernihiv region, Sumy region; managed to liberate a significant part of the Kharkov region. In total, more than a thousand settlements have been liberated, the offensive of the occupiers in the south of Ukraine has been stopped, the President stressed.

"We will come to Mariupol. And we will liberate the city for the third time. It was liberated from the Nazis in 1943 - a brilliant operation. In 2014, on this day, June 13, thanks to the courage of our Azov people and other units, Mariupol was liberated in the times. Freed from the militants, who then did not fully realize what the Russian state was directing them to. And now they see it. They see the burned Mariupol. They see why the Russians came there. But we will not allow this city to be made dead. We will return it. Definitely ", Zelensky stressed.

21:49 Zelensky, in an evening video message, urged to communicate with residents of the occupied territories: "I ask everyone who has such an opportunity to communicate with people in the occupied south, Donbass, Kharkiv region. Tell them, tell them about Ukraine. Tell them the truth. Talk about that there will be liberation.<...> Of course, we will liberate our Crimea as well. The flag of Ukraine will again be over Yalta and Sudak, over Dzhankoy and Evpatoria. And let each of the Russian officials who seized the precious land in Crimea remember: this not the land where they will rest."

"We are dealing with absolute evil. And we have no choice but to move on. Liberate our entire territory. Drive out the invaders from all our regions. And although now the front is already more than two and a half thousand kilometers wide, it is felt that the strategic the initiative is still ours. <...> We will rebuild everything that the occupiers have destroyed. From Volnovakha to Chortkiv. Because this is Ukraine," the president said.

21:15 U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink said she had discussed support for Ukraine with Zaluzhny and Reznikov: "Ukraine's armed forces are fighting with extreme determination. Together with our team, we are fully focused on ensuring that Ukraine gets the capabilities necessary for its defense. Discussed with General Zaluzhny and Oleksiy Reznikov, how to continue to strengthen Ukraine on the battlefield."

Al-Qaeda in Yemen reports death of three senior commanders
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Al-Qaeda in Ma’rib province has on Sunday admitted to the death of three of its most prominent military leaders.

A statement issued by the organization said that Amir Abu Haidara al-Adani was killed by Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
i forces while participating in the fighting in the ranks of the Saudi-led coalition forces on the outskirts of Bayda province.

The statement praised what it described as "the long march of Abu Haidara al-Adani" in the fight against the forces of Sana’a, without referring to the date of his death.

The terrorist organization also mourned two other Amirs of al-Qaeda, who were killed during an attack that targeted the convoy of the commander of the Security Belt in Abyan
...a governorate of Yemen. The region was a base to the Aden-Abyan Islamic Army terrorist group until it dropped the name and joined al-Qaeda. Its capital is Zinjibar. In March 2011, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula declared the governate an Islamic Emirate after seizing control of the region. The New York Times fastidiously reported that those in control, while Islamic hard boyz, are not in fact al-Qaeda, but something else that looks, tastes, smells, and acts the same. Libyan Army: Military Operations Continue Against Terrorists & Smugglers

The Spokesperson for the Libyan National Army (LNA), Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari, said the operations to purge southern Libya of terrorists and Chadian smugglers continue.

In press remarks, Al-Mismari pointed out that the Chadian groups present near the Libyan border are armed opponents of the Chadian government. He explained that arms smugglers, human traffickers and gangs are present with those Chadian rebels.

He stated that these gangs and rebels were controlling the Southwest of the country, and some groups were roaming in the Southeast around the city of Kufra in the triangle of the Libyan-Sudanese-Egyptian border.

Al-Mismari articulated that the crisis in northern Chad prompted some elements -whether from the armed opposition or gangs- to enter Libyan territory.

Regarding the presence of ISIS elements in the South of Libya, he explained that the organisation is present in small groups in the Southwest, where it benefits from the nature of the geography in the region.

Al-Mismari said that Al-Qaeda exists in variable numbers according to circumstances, and that its elements are trying to maintain lines of communication between groups in Libya, Mali, Niger and Boko Haram.

He revealed that the LNA forces had eliminated one of the hideouts of the Al-Qaeda organisation in the South, after monitoring their movement in the southern Qatrun region.

The media official of the LNA, Ageela Al-Saber, told Sky News Arabia that they deployed the “106th Brigade to the city of Murzuq, in the far South of Libya, close to the Chadian border.”

Al-Saber explained that the brigade’s units were deployed to control the security situation. This coincides with the return of a number of families, who were displaced from Murzuq years ago. As well as to “secure the Libyan borders and remote cities, and confront cross-border activities.”

“The LNA has sent reinforcements in all strategic directions, and is monitoring the movements of terrorist elements in the South and West of Libya,” he noted.

Local sources told Sky News Arabia that the mining areas in the Kouri Bogoudi area “always witnesses confrontations between competing tribes, who live in Chad, Libya, and Sudan.”

On Saturday, the Chadian President, Mohamed Déby, said his country will work to control its gold reserves in mining areas, especially in its border triangle with Libya and Niger.

In remarks to Tele Chad News, Déby said that gold is smuggled every week from Chad to Libya worth 57 billion CFA francs, equals 91 million US dollars.

Déby pledged to ensure that Chadians benefit from the gold mines in the Kouri Bogoudi area on the Chadian-Libyan border.

    Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
On the shelling of Donetsk. 06/13/2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin

As a note: there has been a marked increase in artillery attacks and resulting civilian casualties on western Donetsk city and in Gorlovka. These artillery strikes vary from those that went on starting in 2014, in that now the civilian casualty rate is much higher.

At the outset of the war, I figured the Russians would first move to clear out Ukrainian forces arrayed against Donetsk in the northern and western sectors before attempting operations elsewhere; that the Ukrainians before they capitulate or withdraw, would do as much damage as they could.

If you've read any at all from the Russian perspective and even in past reports -- starting in Jan, 2015 that have been on display at Rantburg -- the three locales the artillery is coming from, Avdievka, Opytnoye, and Peski, have been very tough positions for the separatist forces to take, so much so that until this war, separatist forces had not even tried to take for the casualties they could suffer.

[ColonelCassad] Today, more than 120 Grad and Uragan MLRS rockets, as well as from 100 to 150 artillery shells of 155-mm caliber (NATO) have been fired at Donetsk.

Officially they talk about the dead and 22 wounded. The numbers are not final. Dozens of houses and buildings were damaged.

    1. The shelling of Donetsk, obviously, is of a terrorist nature and has no direct military meaning. Just as the vast majority of the shelling of Donetsk since 2014 had no direct military meaning.

    2. Nevertheless, the hidden meaning of the terrorist shelling of Donetsk is that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the army of the DPR reduced pressure on Artemovsk, Severodonetsk and Slavyansk, throwing part of their forces into the dubious frontal assault on the Avdeevsky fortified area, because the main striking forces are concentrated in other directions and even if we assume that the command will go along with the enemy and begin to withdraw troops from the main directions to Avdiivka, then this will take time, while not guaranteeing results in the capture of Avdiivka itself (see Marinka and Ugledar).

    3. Counter-battery warfare at this stage cannot guarantee the cessation of such shelling, so they will continue. An asymmetric response to such actions, given the inability to stop this problem in a short time by military means, is the infliction of punitive strikes on important infrastructure and political centers - the Regional State Administration, power plants, the administrative quarter in Kyiv, etc. To mark the cost of continuing such terrorist practices.

    4. The absence of clear (primarily for the population) response measures will lead to an objective increase in dissatisfaction with the inability of the army to clearly respond to such actions. The enemy naturally also keeps this dissatisfaction in mind when conducting terrorist attacks. And since there is no clear answer, there is no reason to stop.

    5. Alternative option. Do not react - the population endures further, the military continues to methodically follow the plan of operation to defeat the Armed Forces of Ukraine, concentrating on solving priority military tasks. From a military point of view - a logical option. From the political point of view, it is costly.

    From two days ago:
    Who is shelling Donetsk

[ColonelCassad] To the question of who is shelling Donetsk.

Kachur Roman Vladimirovich, a native of Sumy, colonel, commander of the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to 2018, he commanded the artillery of the 81st Airborne Brigade, which operated in the Donetsk direction and also shelled Donetsk (Petrovsky and Kyiv districts).

The brigade is armed with foreign military equipment, including 155mm self-propelled guns "Caesar" and towed howitzers M777, which have been used to shell Donetsk in recent weeks. In recent days, it has been using, among other things, ammunition with a remote fuse in residential areas.

So this is one of the figures who directly carries out the execution of criminal orders related to the terrorist shelling of Donetsk.

Russian blogger Donetsk says 300 shell and rockets were fired in two hours:
    Ordinary fascism

A total of 300 rockets and shells in two hours. There are dead and wounded. The affected educational institutions and the windows of the maternity hospital carried out by the blast wave, the dead, including the child.

And Pushilin’s statement that they will do something and finally close the excess and leave people at home in order to save them. What should have been done last week, when the crisis developed. Guernica . Any Nazism sooner or later comes to Guernica with further accusations of those killed that they are themselves. So it is now - first the bombing, then the bots whispering about self-shelling.

And some of the fools with a fright believe in it. Small, but ... Although this is the business of the MGB. And stop rumors, and finally fight bot farms. It is possible in collaboration with bloggers. This is just not a problem even once, in contrast to the possibility of repeating such raids by the Nazis over and over again. I can only repeat for the hundredth circle to the oak patriots - "I did not betray, I stayed" this is the blood of children on your hands. Don't fool people's heads. Decided to die guarding the good - your right, let others evacuate.

The army is doing what it can. Maybe not all. More precisely, everything, but on the TV show and among the vigilant citizens running around the prosecutor's offices, looking for harm, and tormenting Donetsk residents yesterday at the same time as Ukrainian bots. Only the former wrote about self-shelling, the latter about alarmists.

In real life, the army is fighting hard in the North. The battles are quite successful, they write to me that the fracture there is quite real and in a step, but devouring most of the forces. What is left to suppress a couple of UGIL brigade artillery groups is not enough.

This is reality. Bad and ugly. You can swear at me, the army, the authorities, but it won't make it any easier. It is better to prepare the basement, take the children out if possible, and not leave the house unless absolutely necessary. There will be no other. The main thing is to survive. The rest later. When will it end.

And there is nothing more to cheer. People themselves understand everything. And about the South, and about the negotiation expectations and other things. Nevertheless, Nazism does not cancel the fact that here is constructive on the track. And the Nazis beat the cities. And they will continue. No choice. That's all.

Ukrainians repulse several enemy attacks in the Bakhmut and Slavic areas, - a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense
Direct Translation via Google Translate Edited.
[LB] The enemy does not abandon attempts to completely capture the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

    by Irina Gamaliy

The enemy continues to dominate us in technology and artillery. The main goal at this stage is still access to the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, ensuring the stability of the land corridor between the Rostov region and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and blocking Ukrainian communications in the Black Sea. The defense forces are actively defending themselves and inflicting heavy losses on the Russian army.

This was announced by Defense Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Motuzyanyk at a briefing .

"Street fighting continues in Severodonetsk. The enemy's command does not reckon with losses and tries to capture as much territory of Ukraine as possible," he said.

Russian troops continue to use World War II tactics to surround Ukrainian troops and seize new territories. The enemy attaches special importance to achieving a significant advantage, especially in artillery and armored vehicles, with virtually no use of infantry maneuvers.

In Severodonetsk, it was in the infantry units that the occupiers suffered significant losses. The enemy advances only after the use of assault aircraft.

On June 12, four Tu-22 M3 long-range bombers from the Sea of Azov launched at least three X-22 cruise missiles in Selidovo and Pokrovsky. On the same day, up to four Caliber naval-based missiles were fired from the Black Sea at Ukrainian civilian and military infrastructure facilities in the Ternopil region.

Donetsk direction. The Armed Forces are holding back the offensive of the occupiers, who are trying to surround our troops in the Severodonetsk and Lysychansk districts and block the supply routes from Bakhmut. The enemy has significant losses.

Lymansky. There is no active fighting on the part of the Russians, but they continue to shell the positions of the defenders in the areas of the Lighthouses (20 km north of Slavyansk) and Serebryanka.

Severodonetsk. The Armed Forces of Ukraine oppose assault actions inside the city. The enemy currently controls the center of Severodonetsk. High-intensity hostilities continue.

Bakhmut. Ukrainian units repulsed the enemy's assault in the directions of Viktorivka - Hrubivka and Komyshuvakha - Vrubivka. To blockade our units, the enemy resumed the offensive in Zolotoye and tried to gain a foothold on the border between Rota and Myronivka. The Armed Forces successfully restrained the assault on the enemy in the directions Dolomite - Kolyma and Dolomite - Novolugansk (15 km from Bamut)

The enemy attacked here to capture the dominant heights, but the defenders did not allow the occupiers to succeed.

In the Pokrovsk area, the occupiers conducted reconnaissance with a drone.

Kurakhivsky . The Russians with Su-25 planes struck an air duo at the positions of our troops in the Krasnohorivka area.

Avdiivsky, Novopavlovsky, Zaporozhye . The enemy fired along almost the entire line of contact to prevent the transfer of our reserves

Kharkiv . Ukrainian troops are fighting the enemy. The enemy moved to positional defense to prevent our troops from crossing the border. The occupiers stormed the Ternovo-Izbytske area and established themselves on the northern outskirts of Stary Saltov. They carried out remote mining near Petrivka and conducted air reconnaissance near Shestakov.

Slavic. Ukrainian defenders successfully restrained the enemy's offensive near the village. Valley and the Virgin.

Pivdennobuzhsky. The occupiers are conducting positional defense and have focused on maintaining the occupied areas, conducting reconnaissance.

Volyn and Polissya. The situation is without significant changes. Belarusians up to seven battalions continue to strengthen the border in Gomel and Brest regions. The threat of missile and air strikes remains.

Seversky. The Russians will keep their units on the border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. This is done to prevent the overthrow of our troops. Artillery and mortars fired at the defense forces in the area of Hrinivka, Chernihiv region.

"Black Sea and Azov operational zones. Russian ships continue to perform tasks to isolate the combat area, conduct reconnaissance and try to provide fire support to their troops," Motuzyanyk said.

As of today, six ships with Caliber missiles are ready for possible use in the Black Sea. Possible volley - up to 36 missiles.

We will remind, according to the chairman of the Luhansk OVA Sergey Gaiday, the enemy controls about 70% of Severodonetsk . Ukrainian defenders are inferior to Russians in artillery.

Treating homosexuality as a sickness: Transvestites might be the new outcasts
[British Med Journal - 15 April 2004] Rapid Response:

Homosexuality caused by maternal medication and environmental oestrogens? There may not be any medical treatments that can cure homosexuality1 but medical treatments to women may have increased the incidence of homosexuality among their children. Maternal hormonal exposures before or during early pregnancy can alter normal sexual development. Evolutionary change from asexual to bisexual reproduction required complicated
    circulating hormonal interactions.

Irrespective of the chromosomal sex of a foetus, inappropriate hormonal influences during early foetal life can alter brain development and change the sexual orientation of both animals and humans. Environmental oestrogenic pesticides are credited with lowering sperm counts. Mouldy grains contain mycotoxins which are also oestrogenic. The work of Regina Schoental has emphasised the effects of
excessive exogenous hormone exposures on behaviour throughout history. 2,3

The use of hormones, in the form of contraceptives or fertility drugs has increased over the past century. Exogenous hormones are stored in maternal fat and therefore may affect foetal development months after the mother has stopped taking hormones. Clearly no fault lies with the affected child, but the medical profession needs to rethink the full consequences of prescribing ever more hormones to younger and younger women. Use of long-acting implanted progesterones is a callous and dangerous method of contraception. The health of future children should be a priority in sex education programmes.

    Emphasis added.

SDF Arrests ISIS Leader North Of Deir Ez-Zor

During a security operation on Monday, special units of the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested a leader of a security cell of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, a governorate east Syria.

A military source told North Press that the operation was carried out based on aerial and ground support from the US-led Global Coalition. The operation resulted in the arrest of the leader in Ruwaished badia in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

The cell of the leader is responsible for transferring information, identifying goals, planning and putting methods to implement hard-line attacks against security, military and service targets in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor and other areas northeast Syria, according to the source.

During the process of checking, the units found and confiscated weapons, equipment, documents and military clothes the leader owned.

On Sunday, the SDF disclosed that its special units, in cooperation with the Global Coalition, captured a funding cell affiliated with the ISIS in the town of al-Hawl east of Hasakah.

Residents of northeast Syria voice concern over the ISIS activities in an attempt to reorganize itself in light of successive Turkish threats to invade the region.

    The Grand Turk
Israeli FM Yair Lapid urges Israelis in Istanbul to leave quickly; several whisked away by Israeli security while Turkey arrests Iranian assassins

Israelis in Istanbul were whisked away as Iranian assassins waited at hotel — report

[IsraelTimes] Tourists warned of immediate threat while out shopping and rushed to airport, report says; Ottoman Turkish intelligence nabs several Iranians suspected of being IRGC operatives

Several Israelis visiting Istanbul were reportedly whisked out of The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
last week by Israeli security officials, who were acting on intelligence showing that the visitors were at immediate risk from Iranian assassins.

One woman out visiting a market got a call from a senior Israeli official telling her to not return to her hotel because Iranian assassins were waiting there for her and her spouse, Channel 13 reported Monday.

Instead, a caravan with some 10 Israeli security officers took the couple to the airport, leaving their stuff in the hotel, and then to Israel, where they were probed for clues about the plot against them, the network said.

No further details about the couple were revealed, including whether they were individually targeted for a specific reason or if they were only threatened due to being Israeli. It also was not clear how many people were contacted and told to leave immediately.

According to Channel 13, the government waited until Monday to warn the rest of the public about the imminent threat against Israelis in Turkey out of consideration for local authorities there, who wanted time to deal with the situation. Israel on Monday issued its most severe travel warning for Istanbul over attempts by Iran
...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979...
    to attack Israeli travelers.

Two weeks ago, Channel 12 reported that Israeli security officials called and directly warned more than 100 Israeli citizens in Turkey that they were in Iran’s crosshairs, asking them to return home.

Israel is not currently planning on sending rescue flights for Israelis in Turkey, and many in the country are not planning on fleeing anyway, Channel 13 said. Flight cancellations for those planning trips, however, are starting to pile up.

Despite the warnings, the Walla news site reported that 21 flights with 3,750 passengers departed Israel for Turkey on Monday. Some may be transferring through Turkey; Israeli authorities have said it is still safe for Israelis to have a layover in Istanbul, as long as they stay in the airport.

Separately, the Ynet news site reported on Monday that Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) recently arrested Iranian agents who were planning on carrying out a shooting and kidnapping attack against Israeli tourists in Turkey.

The report did not cite a source, but an Israeli security official told Rooters that Turkey has arrested several people suspected of being operatives of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Ynet said there may be additional Iranian agents on the lam and that authorities’ pursuit of them has not ended.

Ottoman Turkish officials and the Iranian embassy in Ankara did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Israel’s National Security Council on Monday raised the warning for Istanbul to level 4, the highest, meaning Israelis are explicitly told not to visit an area and to leave if they are already there. Countries with the level 4 "high threat" warning include Iraq, Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
    , Afghanistan, and Iran.

The authority said it raised the warning level amid "the continuing threat and amid the escalation of Iranian intentions to harm Israelis in Turkey, with an emphasis on Istanbul." Other parts of Turkey remained at a level 3 warning, with recommendations to avoid visiting the country for nonessential reasons.

Israeli security officials reportedly tipped off their Ottoman Turkish counterparts about the plan and asked that they take action to thwart the attack. Hebrew media reports, citing unnamed senior Israeli sources, did not specify the nationality of the alleged agents for Iran, how many were involved, or if any arrests had been made.

Channel 12 said Monday evening that "there are still Iranian cells in the area" and "ongoing cooperation between the Mossad and the Ottoman Turkish [security agencies], impressive cooperation, to thwart this series of [potential] attacks." The unsourced report also said there had been an unspecified number of arrests.

The National Security Council revised its travel warning for Turkey last month to level 3, saying there was a concrete threat to Israelis from "Iranian terrorist operatives" there and in nearby countries.

That warning followed the liquidation of a senior officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Col. Hassan Sayyad Khodaei, which Iran blamed on Israel.

    Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
The problem was dealt with too late
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin

[ColonelCassad] "I think that we have belatedly engaged in the serious introduction of unmanned vehicles. This is objective" (c) Deputy Prime Minister Borisov

Briefly, on the official recognition of Deputy Prime Minister Borisov on the topic that the army is not properly provided with UAVs. Despite all the sarcasm about the recognition of an obvious fact, it is worth noting that official recognition is an important step towards solving the problem.

Just as after the Olympic War, the lack of normal reconnaissance UAVs was recognized as a significant problem, which played an important role in the subsequent development of the industry and the emergence of those UAVs that worked in subsequent conflicts.

The problem, at the current stage, seems to be that the Russian Federation has a whole zoo of various models of drones - reconnaissance, strike, kamikaze, but their total number for the current tasks of the front is obviously not enough. The problem is in quantity, not quality. You can cite the combat experience of Syria, Libya, Karabakh as much as you like, but it is obvious that this direction of the military-industrial complex does not provide the army in conditions where the nature of this particular war requires not tens, but thousands of UAVs on a huge front - from small quadrocopters for an infantry platoon and loitering ammunition to full-fledged ROCK and powerful strike UAVs.

The volume of UAVs operating in Azerbaijan in Karabakh, the modern front in Ukraine will grind into porridge in a week. This also applies to the Libyan theater of operations. A completely different scope of the theater of operations and completely different volumes. Total. Not only UAVs.

Now we are operating in a situation where what the army has is added to what the civil society sends through humanitarian aid. This is obviously not enough. It's good that the state has gone from the dead-end position "Shut up shit, the authorities know better" to the adequate "yes, there is a problem, we are solving it."

This highlights both the urgency of the problem and the fact that it is being seriously addressed. When there will be a structural effect from this activity, it is difficult to say without being immersed in the structures of the military-industrial complex. At the front, of course, they judge simply - UAVs for different tasks either exist or not.

The problem can and should be solved by states by increasing production (which is already happening), deploying new assembly lines (I hope this is also happening) and building new enterprises (I hope that there will be more factories for the production of UAVs in the country as a result of this war).

Along the way, it makes sense to consider the possibility of purchasing UAVs abroad (in addition to the obvious purchases of quadrocopters from the Chinese). Including kamikaze and percussion. There is no need to be shy here, especially if the problem is already recognized.

    https://t.me/boris_rozhin/53558 - zinc

PS. The fact that UAVs will play an ever-increasing role in local wars has been written since the mid-10s, based on the study of the experience of wars in Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Karabakh. The current situation only confirmed the earlier conclusion that UAVs would become an integral part of the modern battlefield in the wars of the 20s with a significant degree of influence on the course of hostilities, without being some kind of prodigy.

Now, it's just the same mandatory program as a gun, tank or rocket launcher. Who did not understand this before the war in Ukraine, now I think they could see in practice some changes in the nature of hostilities that are formed as a result of the massive use of UAVs by the warring parties for various tasks.

The fact that we have been delayed with a massive implementation is bad. For a conflict of the level of Syria, what was maybe and was enough. But for the war in Ukraine, this was not enough. Moreover, it cannot be said that they did not know about this problem and that everyone was silent about it. This created unnecessary problems for us, which we have to solve as we go along.

Obviously, this experience, both negative and positive, will affect the development of the entire industry and will obviously lead to a multiple increase in the number of UAVs in the army. Hence the moral - do not be late with the UAV. And in general, do not be late - those who lag behind in the modern carnivorous world are beaten.

Quantity has a quality all its own.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
    • Lawyers hired by the City of Uvalde, Texas, have written a letter to state attorney general Ken Paxton trying to wriggle out of divulging information to the public

    • In a letter penned Wednesday, law firm Denton Navarro Rocha Bernal & Zech said the City received 148 requests for information from May 25 through June 7

    • The city claims it has no obligation to comply with any of the requests, citing 52 excuses that it claims makes the information 'excepted' from disclosure

    • Among the information the city is trying to hide are records on Pete Arredondo, the school district police chief who bungled the response to the mass shooting

    • Arredondo was in charge of the police response to the shooting at Robb Elementary School last month that led to 21 deaths

#2  Bungled? What do you mean, bungled? He chickened out. There was a LatinX tranny with a gun in there! He could get shot! He's not running into a building like that, thankyouverymuch.

But it's making him look like a coward, which he isn't obviously, just concerned about his safety like a rational person, so obviously he had to block the parents from going in to get their kids. All of this is overblown and just needs to go away.

Imagine if he was a DC elite and could actually make this happen. They successfully cover up their despicable behavior all the time. Anyone who brings it up gets called a conspiracy theorist.

Armed infiltrators exchange fire with BSF along IB in Jammu

Border Security Force (BSF) engaged armed infiltrators in a brief gunfight and thwarted their attempt to sneak into this side from across the International Border (IB) here, a spokesperson of the border guarding force said on Monday.

The incident occurred in Arnia sector around 9.30 pm on Sunday when alert BSF troops observed suspicious movement close to the IB, the spokesman said.

He said BSF troops challenged the miscreants who fired on the troops and fled in the face of retaliation.

BSF retaliated by firing a few bursts (of gunfire) towards them due to which they ran back. Search of the area was carried out Monday morning but nothing (incriminating) was recovered, the spokesman said.

Al-Khazali: some parties are trying to spread chaos in Iraq
[SHAFAQ] The leader in the Coordination Framework, the villainous-looking Qais al-Khazali
......sinister-looking Iranian stooge, Secretary General of Persian proxy militia Asaib Ahl al-Haq, wannabe Nasrallah......
, revealed that parties working "from behind the keyboard" are trying to spread chaos in Iraq.

Al-Khazali said in a televised interview that some parties were behind hindering the implementation of China's projects in the country, noting that some others worked, during the protests, to hinder the work of the German company Siemens to develop the electricity sector.

"We support the citizens' demands of basic services and right to protest, but solving the country's problems cannot be done through blocking the streets", he noted, "Now that the representatives of the Sadrist bloc have resigned, we entered a new phase."

"We look forward to forming a new government a choosing a Prime Minister who is capable of solving the country's economic problems, as well as other crises like drought", he added.

The leader of al-Fatah coalition, Hadi al-Ameri, called on the supreme religious authority in Najaf to intervene and solve the political crisis in Iraq.

Al-Ameri said in a statement, "The blessed Supreme Marja'iyah, always shows up at the right time to save the day and bring life back to normal."

The President of the Kurdistan region, Nechirvan Barzani, warned of "chaos" in the aftermath of the mass resignation of the Sadrist politicians from the Iraqi parliament, urging the Kurdish parties to join hands.

Barzani tweeted on Monday, "we are watching with concern the latest political updates in Iraq. We hope chaos does not prevail and the parliament represents all the Iraqis."

"I urge all the Kurdish parties to unite," he added.

Indian Muslim groups urge followers to shun protests over anti-Islam comments
[Dawn] Leaders of prominent Islamic groups and mosques in India appealed to fellow Moslems on Monday to suspend plans for protests against derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) made by two members of the ruling Hindu-nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party.

The message to avoid big gatherings was circulated after demonstrations took a violent mostly peaceful turn last week, after the police rubbed out two Moslem teenagers while more than 30 people, including police, were maimed.

"It is the duty of every Moslem to stand together when anyone belittles Islam but at the same time it is critical to maintain peace," said Malik Aslam, a senior member of Jamaat-e-Islami
...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer. The Jamaat opposed the independence of Bangladesh but has operated an independent branch there since 1975. It maintains close ties with international Mohammedan groups such as the Moslem Brotherhood. the Taliban, and al-Qaeda. The Jamaat's objectives are the establishment of a pure Islamic state, governed by Sharia law. It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores...
Hind, a Moslem organization that operates in several Indian states.

Early this month, two senior members of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party made remarks that offended Moslems. A party spokeswoman made the offending comment in a television debate and a party front man on social media.

The party suspended both of them and said it denounced any insult towards any religion, and police have also filed cases against the two, but that did not stop enraged Moslems taking to the streets in protest.

Police arrested at least 400 suspected rioters during unrest in several states and curfews were imposed and internet services were suspended in some places.

Many Moslems in India have been questioning their place in society since Modi came to power in 2014, playing down his roots in a powerful Hindu-nationalist group to which his party is affiliated.

Critics say his BJP has pursued a confrontational line, promoting the idea that India is a Hindu nation and rounded on "anti-national" opponents, which many Moslems see as an attempt to marginalise them, a community that makes up 13 per cent of India's billion plus population.

Authorities in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday demolished homes of several Moslem men and women part of the protests, drawing condemnation of the state government, led by the BJP, from constitutional experts and rights groups.

Moslems and rights groups interpreted the destruction of the houses as punishment for protesting but state authorities said it was because it was illegally built on public land.

"We are not demolishing houses to stop Moslems from protesting as they have all the right to take to the streets," an aide to the state's hardline Hindu leader told Rooters.

Modi has not commented on the anti-Islam remarks that sparked the protests even as condemnation grew abroad.

Hijab row: Muslim girls seeking admission in Udupi college increases this year
    From a few days ago.
[OneIndia] The number of Moslem girls getting enrolled at the college where the Hijab row erupted has increased this year, Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat said on Thursday.

The Government Women's Pre-University College in Udupi was at the centre of a controversy after refusing Moslem girls to wear hijab in the classes in January. There were apprehensions that the number of Moslem girl students will come down due to the controversy, but 40 students have already got admitted to the first year of PU in the college, PTI reported.

In 2005, 674 Moslem girls were enrolled in PU colleges in Udupi district. However,
    Switzerland makes more than cheese...
    the number increased to 943 in 2010, 1,169 in 2015, and 1,446 in 2021.

The BJP MLA, who is the president of the college development committee, said that the Moslem students have agreed to remove the hijab inside classrooms. The college recorded good results in the last academic year despite the hijab-related incidents, he claimed.

Six girl students of the college had approached court seeking permission to wear hijab while attending classes. They were insisting on wearing hijab after the Karnataka High Court judgment to adhere to the dress code in institutions. They did not write the final examinations citing the same reason. Though there were apprehensions that the number of Moslem girl students will come down in the wake of the hijab row, 40 students have already got admitted to first year of PU in the college.

    Meanwhile,
...back at the Senate, Tremulus continued with his speech against Varius and his cohorts, watching as his colleagues dropped off to sleep one by one...
the government first grade college at Uppinangady in Dakshina Kannada district revoked the suspension of six girls, who were suspended last week for insisting on wearing hijab.

The students have given an undertaking on Wednesday that they will abide by the dress code, college development committee sources said. The students attended classes on Wednesday, the sources added.

Sanjeeva Matandoor, Puttur BJP MLA and chairman of the college development committee, said the students were directed to give the undertaking in writing for revocation of the suspension. The high court in March had dismissed the petitions seeking permission to wear hijab inside the classroom. The prescription of school uniform is only a reasonable restriction, constitutionally permissible which the students cannot object to, the high court had said.

The full bench of the Karnataka High Court upheld the order restricting students from wearing any religious cloths inside educational institutions' premises. The prescription of school uniform is only a reasonable restriction, constitutionally permissible which the students cannot object to, a three-judge High Court bench headed by Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi further said.

's pull out of the political process as a "lesson of a loyal leader that echoes the position of Imam Hussein," following the mass resignation of the politicians affiliated with his movement.

In a blurb on Monday, the head of the political commission of the Sadrist movement, Ahmed al-Mutayri, said al-Sadr's decision was "a sacrifice to Iraq."

"Al-Sadr has rendered his altruism an eternal life. It is, undoubtedly, a courageous position and a lesson from a leader who is loyal to his people and homeland. It reminds us with his grandfather Imam Hussein's saying 'I would neither surrender to you like a servile, nor concede to you like a slave'."

"Only the greats would make such precious sacrifices for a greater cause. This is not new for the family of al-Sadr," he said.

...The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years. It produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. That's three statements. Only the first is subjective....
rejects Israel’s latest threats while stressing that the country is keen on the resumption of talks over sea border demarcation.

"We reject the threats of the Israeli enemy, which is acting in violation of international laws and resolutions," Aoun said, in a meeting in Baabda with reformist MPs Melhem Khalaf, Ibrahim Mneimneh, Rami Fanj, Mark Daou, Waddah al-Sadek, Yassine Yassine and Najat Aoun.

"Lebanon is keen on the return of indirect negotiations with Israel, which stopped after the enemy refused to consider Line 29 a negotiations line," the President added.

Noting that Lebanon had rejected "the Israeli line, or Line 1, and the Hoff Line," Aoun emphasized that the country "will not renounce its right to utilize its oil and gas resources."

"The President is leading the negotiations, and after an agreement is reached, Cabinet will have to approve it and refer it to parliament according to norms, which has not yet happened as to Line 29," Aoun went on to say.

Explaining why drilling has stopped in Lebanon’s offshore block 4, the President said the drilling company "offered unconvincing justifications," noting that "it faced international pressures that forced it to stop drilling."

Responding to a question from the delegation, Aoun pointed out that there is no link between border demarcation and the issue of importing gas and electricity from Egypt and Jordan, nor with the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund."

Al-Fayyadh stressed that "the PMF will defend the state. We will not allow toppling the state."

EU seeks Israeli gas as Lebanon protests extraction in disputed field
[An Nahar] European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi were headed to Israel Monday as the EU seeks to wean itself off Russian fossil fuel imports.

Von der Leyen and Draghi are due to hold energy talks in Israel, which has turned from a natural gas importer into an exporter in recent years because of major offshore finds.

Israeli Energy Minister Karine Elharrar and other officials have said their country could help meet EU demand if it can deliver gas from its offshore reserves estimated at nearly 1,000 billion cubic meters, but getting Israeli gas to Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
is fraught with challenges and would require major and long-term infrastructure investments.

Further complicating Israel's offshore gas production is a long-running maritime border dispute with Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...In 2020 Hezbollah blew up a considerable portion of Beirut and many of its inhabitants when its ammonium nitrate facility exploded. They blamed it on... somebody else. It wasn't them though. Trust them on that. And it ain't never coming to trial...
The neighbors technically remain at war but have agreed to U.S.-mediated talks aimed at delineating the border to allow both countries to boost exploration.

Talks broke down last year but Israel has urged Lebanon to re-engage.

Tensions flared this month following a Lebanese claim that Israeli production was taking place in contested waters.

Israel countered that the area was located clearly south of the disputed zone.

The battle of Donbas could prove decisive in Ukraine war
[NYPOST] Day after day, Russia is pounding the Donbas region of Ukraine with relentless artillery and air raids, making slow but steady progress to seize the industrial heartland of its neighbor.

With the conflict now in its fourth month, it’s a high-stakes campaign that could dictate the course of the entire war.

If Russia prevails in the battle of Donbas, it will mean that Ukraine loses not only land but perhaps the bulk of its most capable military forces, opening the way for Moscow to grab more territory and dictate its terms to Kyiv. A Russian failure could lay the grounds for a Ukrainian counteroffensive — and possibly lead to political upheaval for the Kremlin.

Following botched early attempts in the invasion to capture Kyiv and the second-largest city of Kharkiv without proper planning and coordination, Russia turned its attention to the Donbas, a region of mines and factories where Moscow-backed separatists have been fighting Ukrainian forces since 2014.

Learning from its earlier missteps, Russia is treading more carefully there, relying on longer-range bombardments to soften Ukrainian defenses.

It seems to be working: The better-equipped Russian forces have made gains in both the Luhansk and Donetsk regions that make up the Donbas, controlling over 95% of the former and about half of the latter.

I see this war is over now. Just a slow grind. I see Volodymyr relocating to Western nation in the middle of the night when he is unable to broker a financial deal for himself. This has been his personal show. He will live on for many years in various western medias. Perhaps speechify at Harvard.

#4  In three and a half months Russia has taken about 90% of Luhansk and 50% of Donetsk.

The cost has been horrible for Russia. Tens of Thousands of their best soldiers killed. More than 50% of their top of line tanks out of action. Their military reputation has been destroyed.

Ukraine has lost tens of thousands of their best men also but their military reputation is up.

A messy, unpopular cease fire is needed followed by a messy unpopular negotiated truce followed by a messy unpopular interim settlement.

From the Russian Perspective: Operation on Denazification of Ukraine: operational summary June 13th (updated)
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[NewsFrontInfo] 21:51 Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson direction have lost: more than 120 people killed and wounded, a mortar, an anti-tank missile system, a long-term firing point with AGS-17, two trucks, two pickup trucks, two UAVs, as well as an ammunition depot.

Over the past week, Ukraine has already lost the eighth aircraft in the Nikolaev region.

20:34 There are reports of ongoing battles for Stary Saltov after the RF Armed Forces drove the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of Rubizhne. Ukrainian propaganda immediately started a song that the loss of a number of villages in the Kharkov direction did not mean anything, although when the LPR militia retreated from the same Old Saltov and Rubizhne, this was presented as an unprecedented victory for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And now these villages mean nothing. We are waiting for people to start talking about the complete uselessness of Severodonetsk - Сolonelcassad

18:15 The victim of the terrorist attack in Melitopol is in intensive care in a stable serious condition. She receives all the necessary medical care.

17:47 The Government of Ukraine has banned the export of coal, fuel oil and locally produced gas. Zelenskiy said last week that the country would suspend coal and gas exports to weather what he said was "the toughest winter we've seen in years of independence."

17:41 Ukrainian prisoners of war and their relatives categorically do not want to return home from captivity. Our television crews have ready-made live stories right in front of their eyes, which can be filmed in the form of the documentary series Escape from Hell.

Each plot is a true story about how people were eager to be captured, bypassing the Nazi and Georgian foreign detachments: a drug addict who hopes to get rid of addiction in captivity, a criminal who is ready to serve time for theft, but does not want to stain his hands with blood, an accidental civilian, against wills shaved into soldiers, etc. etc.

17:28 The authorities of Ukraine have begun preparations for holding the Eurovision Song Contest in the country next year, despite the hostilities in the country - Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

16:28 Kyiv nationalists regularly open fire on the city of Volchansk near Kharkov, which was liberated by Russian military personnel.

As a result of the recent shelling, a woman and her son were injured. They were shelled during the day, in the garden. The family is now under medical supervision. Another shell flew at the point of issue of humanitarian aid.

Kyiv nationalists fired at the settlement from the "Hurricane". Several shells shot down Russian air defense systems.

16:12 Residents of Melitopol began to receive receipts for utility bills. We remind you that this month the tariff is the same, and already for June, in receipts that will come in a month, the cost of services for servicing houses and adjacent territories will be 10% less. KP "Zhilmassiv" has opened several payment acceptance points in the city. They are located in the premises of the former ZhEKov.

15:05 The risk of using nuclear weapons has reached the highest level since the Cold War, this is due to the fact that the countries of the "nuclear club" are beginning to actively build up their arsenals, according to a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.

14:02 Three cruise missiles flew over the Dnipropetrovsk region - media.

14:00 A missile attack was carried out on an object in Priluki in the south of the Chernihiv region. Local authorities reported three "arrivals". The city has 332 arsenal of missile weapons and ammunition (military unit A-4246).

#1  Out on errands this morning, heard this Mose Allison song on Real Jazz Sirius XM. The lyrics, I think, describe the trolls pretty well:

You sittin' here and yakkin' right in my face
You comin' on exactly like you own the place
You know if silence was golden
    You couldn't raise a dime
Because your mind is on vacation and your mouth is workin' overtime

You quotin' figures and droppin' names
You tellin' stories and playing games
You're overlaughin' when things ain't funny
You tryin' to sound like the big money
You know if talk was criminal
You'd lead a life of crime
Because your mind is on vacation and your mouth is workin' overtime
You know that life is short
    Talk is cheap
Don't be makin' promises that you can't keep
You don't like this little song I'm singin'
    Just grin and bear it
All I can say is if the shoe fits wear it
    If you must keep talkin'
Please try to make it rhyme
Because your mind is on vacation and your mouth is workin' overtime

    Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iran says 2 military aerospace officials killed in country
[An Nahar] Two Iranian aerospace officials have been "martyred while on mission" in separate incidents inside the country, the armed forces said Monday.

Ali Kamani, a member of the Revolutionary Guards aerospace division, was "martyred" in Khomein in central Markazi province on Sunday, Fars news agency said quoting a Guards statement.

Elsewhere, "Mohammad Abdoos, an employee of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, was martyred on Sunday evening during a mission" in the northern Semnan province, the ministry said in a statement.

Fars earlier said Abdoos, 33, was also working in the field of aerospace -- which in Iran
...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence...
produces equipment ranging from military aircraft to missiles and drones.

No further details were given on the men or how they died.

Iran has in the past blamed its arch enemy Israel for a series of killings of military figures and nuclear technology experts.

On May 22, Guards Colonel Sayyad Khodai, 50, was killed outside his home in the east of the Iranian capital by attackers on cycle of violences who shot him five times.

The Guards accused "Zionists" of being behind the high-profile liquidation and vowed Dire Revenge.

    The New York Times

... which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

later reported that Israel had told its close ally the United States that the Jewish state was behind the killing of Khodai.

The US daily cited an anonymous "intelligence official briefed on the communications".

    Iran's state television
... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
has said that Khodai was a member of the Quds Force and that he was "known" in Syria, where Iran has acknowledged deploying "military advisers".

The Guards described Khodai as a "defender of the sanctuary", a term used for those who work on behalf of Tehran in Syria or Iraq.

Iran believes Israel killed 2 scientists by poisoning their food — report

[IsraelTimes] The New York Times says Iranian officials suspect Israel targeted engineer Ayoob Entezari, geologist Kamran Aghamolaei, who died under similar circumstances several weeks ago.

French army quits Mali base ahead of total pullout
[AlAhram] French troops were on Monday handing back a military base in northeastern Mali ahead of a final withdrawal from the Sahel nation, La Belle France's army said, after nine years fighting a jihadist insurgency.

And the UN's emissary there warned that their withdrawal could leave Menaka, where they were based, vulnerable to a jihadist attack.

The departure from the Menaka base "was conducted in good order, safely and in transparent fashion", said French army front man General Pascal Ianni in Gay Paree.

Common noun: In what cauldron did they fight?
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets.

The last bridge connecting Lisichansk and Severodonetsk was blown up, which means only one thing, the grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries (in total about half a thousand militants) at the Azot plant in Severodonetsk was surrounded.

Now they have two options: either "evacuate" into captivity or die.

At the same time, the "bottleneck" for the enemy grouping in Lisichansk is narrowing. To date, the width of this “neck” along the Nikolaevka-Belogorovka line is less than 18 km.
May as well be 1,800 kilometers
Blocked the Ukrainian garrison in the city of Zolote. After Kamyshevakhi was liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as with access to Vrubovka and along the Orekhovo-Gorskoye line, the Ukrainian garrison in Zolote was finally blocked. Russian troops are stationed in the south, east and west, and the road leading from Zolote to Lisichansk (route R-66) is under full fire control from the RF Armed Forces and units of the NM LPR.

    Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Loose lips: Three held on suspicion of leaking classified IDF information online
[IsraelTimes] Minor is among suspects who allegedly posted confidential materials on social media for internet cred

Three suspects were arrested for allegedly leaking classified military information on social media, security officials announced Monday.

According to a joint statement from the Israel Defense Forces, Shin Bet security agency and Israel Police, two civilians and one conscripted soldier have been in jug since May 24 over social media posts that apparently contained classified information. The two civilians were indicted on Monday morning at the Lod District Court, while the soldier is to be charged in a military court.

The suspects were accused of working together to release the information to gain credibility or popularity on the internet, and had not been pressured by a bad actor nor acted for monetary gain, according to authorities.

One of the civilian suspects is an intelligence soldier in reserves, and the second is a minor. The adult civilian suspect was charged with obtaining, collecting and holding confidential information, as well as offenses related to transferring such confidential information.

The minor was similarly charged with receiving confidential information from the adult suspect and the soldier, sharing it with acquaintances, and posting some of it publicly.

The IDF said the soldier was suspected of providing and publicizing classified information, and he will be formally charged at a military court following a hearing.

Further details related to the case were barred from publication.

In response, the head of the IDF’s Military Intelligence Directorate, Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva, said he would appoint a general to conduct a "thorough" check of the unit’s conduct regarding information security and to formulate recommendations on the matter.

    Home Front: WoT
Terror-finance rulings the Supremes must strike down, despite Biden's pleas
    [NYPOST] The Supreme Court
...the political football known as The Highest Court in the Land, home of penumbrae and emanations...
is set to decide if it will consider two important terror-financing cases centering on the ability of Americans who have been harmed in terrorist attacks to seek redress against financial institutions that knowingly funnel money to fronts for terrorist organizations such as Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw,.

But the Biden administration (aka the Wilmington comorra)
...the pack of self-imagined masterminds of strategy and intrigue at the service of the Biden Crime Family and a grateful nation...
has urged the justices to let lower court rulings stand in Weiss v. National Westminster Bank and Strauss v. Credit Lyonnais — and so undercut 25 years of bipartisan consensus that Americans must be able to seek redress against those who knowingly facilitate terrorism.

Terrorism, its reach and its sources of funding constitute a central security issue of our times. Hamas, Hezbollah and other terror groups seek to alter the geopolitical calculus of target nations through intimidation, extortion and carnage to rain destruction on the innocent.

They also use purported charities to finance their networks and to recruit personnel to carry out terror operations. Why is the Biden administration intent on accommodating this deceit?

Knowingly giving support to a foreign terrorist organization has been a federal crime since 1996. More, Congress has recognized that terror groups often hide their intent, using charitable fundraising to help finance slaughter, so such "charities" are inexorably entwined with their terrorist elements. Four successive administrations have worked to expose these schemes.

Yet the US solicitor general’s brief calls this principle into question by suggesting that some support to terrorist groups might back "legitimate activities." This would set an appalling precedent that will help Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and other hostile entities that use front charities, and so endanger the safety of Americans abroad.

DA Alvin Bragg's greatest hits: If Hochul won't fire him, NYers should fire her
[NYPOST] San Franciscans disgusted with rampant lawlessness showed pro-perp District Attorney Chesa Boudin the door last week in a landslide recall election. Yet New Yorkers fed up with soft-on-crime Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, will have to wait until 2026 to be rid of him — or replace Gov. Kathy Hochul with someone who’s got the guts to oust him sooner.

New York law doesn’t allow for recall votes; only the gov can oust DAs for failing to do their job.

Yet Bragg made clear from the start that he’d put the interests of criminals first: His "Day 1 Memo" outlined all the crimes he’d refuse to prosecute and sentences he’d refuse to seek, even for felons. That drew such outrage that he backtracked — but only slightly. Since then, he’s pursued his top goal, freeing perps, with gusto:

    • In January, he initially refused cops’ request for a no-knock warrant, preferring they risk their lives by knocking first to collar dangerous ex-con Jaime Brown for armed robbery. Only days earlier, two NYPD officers were fatally shot in the line of duty. Police eventually got the no-knock warrant, though the delay kept Brown free meanwhile. And when he was nabbed, they recovered a loaded 9mm handgun he could’ve used on them had they been forced to knock first.

    • Another warrant case ended worse: Detectives union boss Paul DiGiacomo said Bragg rebuffed requests for a warrant for the gun used by Tyrell Rodgers (23 priors) in an armed robbery. In March, Rodgers allegedly used that very gun to fatally kill another man.

    • In January, cops charged Christian Hall with third-degree robbery for allegedly shoplifting and threatening workers with a scissors at a TJ Maxx store. Bragg’s underlings rolled that back to petty larceny; a month later, Hall allegedly sucker-punched a sanitation worker.

    • Everyone deserves a second chance, but Bragg offered one defendant her 60th: In February, Nicole Green, who had 59 busts under her belt, was nabbed in a mugging case but set free after Bragg’s office asked for supervised release.

    • Bragg prosecutors helped spring Darius Mungin, a suspect in an Upper West Side murder (yes, murder), by agreeing to cut his bond. They cited concerns for Mungin’s safety following gang attacks, but why not try to get jail officials to keep him safe instead?

    • That’s just a sample of Bragg’s dereliction. And with crime still surging, it’s clear the bad guys have gotten his message: In New York, Bragg will let you slide.

Indonesian police arrest alleged propagandist amid crackdown on pro-caliphate group
[BenarNews] Indonesian police in the past several days have arrested five members of a little-known group espousing an Islamic caliphate — a concept that goes against the Moslem-majority country’s state ideology — including its leader and the main propagandist, who was arrested Monday.

The suspected members of the Khilafatul Moslemin group were taken into custody following a public outcry over a large rally that it staged in Jakarta last month.

It was not immediately known what criminal charges the alleged propagandist was facing after his arrest. On June 7, the group’s leader and founder was arrested on charges of violating a 2017 law banning organizations that oppose Pancasila, Indonesia’s five-pillared ideology.

Florida man arrested after video shows him dragging woman's lifeless body
[NYPOST] A Florida man was arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse after he unknowingly supplied police with home surveillance footage that showed him dragging the lifeless body of a 38-year-old woman through his house.

William Redden, 51, allegedly wrapped the corpse of Stephanie Shenefield in a sheet before dragging her lifeless body to his car and driving to a ditch, where he tossed her remains, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

It was not clear how the woman died.

Shenefield, a mother of two, took an Uber to the home of Redden, an alleged drug pusher, at 1:20 a.m. on Friday, June 3, Sherlocks said.

At some point in the night, Shenefield died inside the house and Redden allegedly disposed of her body instead of calling for help, Manatee County Sheriff Rick Wells said.

"William Redden does nothing about it," Sheriff Wells said at a presser aired on WTSP Tampa Bay 10. "He doesn’t call 911, he doesn’t call authorities, he doesn’t call anyone."

Redden, an eight-time convicted felon, told detectives that Shenefield stayed at his house that night — but left the next morning.

The detectives then asked Redden if they could take the DVRs from surveillance cameras on the inside and exterior of the house. He complied and said the cameras don’t record inside his house and are only a "live monitoring" system, according to the sheriff’s office.

"He tells them they do not record inside the residence. He was wrong," Wells said. "Thankfully he’s ignorant and didn’t know that. Because it worked for us."

To Sherlocks’ surprise, the video unveiled the final moments of Shenefield’s life and provided hints as to how her body ended up in a ditch in Palmetto.

The detectives verified through the video footage that Shenefield was at Redden’s home in Palmetto and died there during the night. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of death.

Redden then can be seen "dragging her lifeless body throughout the house" and loading it into a car before driving off, Wells said.

Two people walking their dog found Shenefield’s "badly decomposed" body in a 12-foot-deep drainage ditch near railroad tracks Thursday, June 9, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Florida mom was reported missing after Sunday, June 5, when she didn’t show up for work and also had missed a concert Friday evening.

"William Redden is a piece of crap, that’s what he is. He had the opportunity to call law enforcement, to call 911, to try to save her," Wells said.

"He could have done a lot of things, but that’s not his character," he added. "The only thing he thought of was trying to get rid of the evidence that was in his car — that was a human being; that was someone that was truly loved in this community."

Redden was charged with abuse of a corpse, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of an altered firearm. Additional charges are expected to be brought as the investigation continues, Wells said.

"We will continue to investigate this, but we want you to know that our hearts break for the family of Stephanie," the sheriff said.

He is being held at the Manatee County Jail on $108,000 bond.

Cargo jet with IRGC-linked crew stuck in Argentina due to US sanctions on Iran
    [IsraelTimes] Venezuela
...a country in Central America that sits on an enormous pool of oil. Formerly the most prospereous country in the region, it became infested with Commies sniffing almost unlimited wealth. It turned out the wealth wasn't unlimited, the economy collapsed under the clownish Hugo Chavez, the murder rate exceeded places like Honduras and El Salvador. A significant proportion of the populace refugeed to Colombia and points south...
n-owned Boeing 747 with a load of automotive parts and five Iranians onboard unable to depart; local minister says crew have ties to Iranian Quds Force

A jumbo jet-sized mystery has landed in the lap of Argentine officials, who are trying to determine what to do with a Venezuelan-owned Boeing 747 cargo plane with a load of automotive parts and an unusually large crew of 17, including at least five Iranians.

The plane operated by Venezuela’s state-owned Emtrasur cargo line has been stuck since June 6 at Buenos Aires’ main international airport, unable to depart because of US sanctions against Iran
...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence...
    and suspicions about its crew.

Argentinian Security Minister Aníbal Fernández said Monday that the government and legal authorities are studying the situation.

He said foreign intelligence agencies "advised that part of the crew belonged to companies related to the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guard of Iran," which has been officially listed as a terrorist organization by the US government since 2007.

He also said that the plane’s operators had reported a smaller number of crew members than were actually aboard — an unusually large contingent for a cargo plane. It was carrying parts for an automotive assembly plant, though he did not specify which one.

Until being sold to Emtrasur about a year ago, the plane had been owned by Mahan Air of Iran, a line the US government has sanctioned for allegedly aiding the Quds Force and terrorist activities. Numerous foreign companies over the years have been sanctioned for doing business with Mahan.

A front man for Mahan Air, Hossein Zolanvari, earlier told the state-run IRNA news agency that his company sold the Boeing to a Venezuelan company about a year ago.

"Mentioning Mahan Air in connection with the impounded airplane has aimed at political purposes," he said. He said the plane’s crew also have no connection to Mahan Air.

The plane’s crewmembers have been lodged at a hotel and Fernandez said the Venezuelans are free to leave if they want, while the Iranians can move about in the capital.

Fernandez said the plane had stopped in Paraguay in May. On June 6, it was headed for Ezeiza airport on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, but climatic conditions forced it to stop instead in the city of Cordoba, before finally reaching the Argentine capital, where it attracted the attention of immigration authorities, who confiscated the crew’s passports.

Emtrasur began flying this year, operating out of the Venezuelan military’s Libertador Air Base.

Flight tracking services show the plane also had made stops in earlier months in Mexico and Venezuela.

itself has suffered from terror attacks that authorities blame on Iran, notably a 1992 explosion at the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires and another at a Jewish organization in 1994. Argentina is seeking the arrest of several Iranian officials, though Iran denies involvement.

#1  A normal 747F cargo crew is the Captain, First Officer, Flight Mechanic and Loadmaster (plus a Flight Enginneer if it’s a 100 or 200 series). Usually only 8 seats on the upper deck crew compartment and 5 seats in the cockpit including jump seats. Very unusual to have such a large crew complement
