Strip reported that the Israeli army issued orders to evacuate the entire population of Gaza City.

Paleostinian media circulated a picture of leaflets dropped by the Israeli army on Gaza City calling on residents of the Gaza City areas to move south and describing it as a "dangerous combat zone."

The Paleostinian Red Islamic Thingy Society said, "Thousands of citizens in the Gaza Strip were forced to flee without knowing their destination."

The Grand Turk
Turkey confirms its intention to establish a security corridor along its borders with Iraq and Syria
[NINANEWS] Ottoman Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler announced that his country is determined to establish a security corridor 30-40 kilometers deep along the borders with Iraq and Syria and cleanse the region of Kurdistan Workers' Party holy warriors.

In a statement today, Wednesday, the Ottoman Turkish Ministry of Defense quoted Minister Guler in an interview with Politico magazine as saying: "We are determined to establish a security corridor 30 to 40 kilometers deep along our borders with Iraq and Syria and completely cleanse the region of terrorists. We will continue operations until the last terrorist is neutralized ".

Regarding NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Originally it was a mutual defense pact directed against an expansionist Soviet Union. In later years it evolved into a mechanism for picking the American pocket while criticizing the cut of the American pants...
, Guler said: "We completely reject the claim that The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
is untrustworthy; there is no such thing. It is unreasonable for us to have the same views on every issue in an environment where 32 allies come together."

He added: "There are countries trying to create such a perception, and so far Turkey has been the only country that has been able to bring together the two sides of the war (Russia and Ukraine) in high-level talks. We will not allow the Black Sea to turn into a strategic battlefield."

The minister noted that Turkey aims to "create a completely independent defense industry based on local and national production, thus strengthening the country's economy and contributing to Turkey's independence."

He said: "The mentioned military technologies are different, starting with land, sea and air, drones, helicopters, weapons, smart munitions, missiles, air defense systems and electronic warfare."

He stated that Turkey has exported much of this technology to other countries.

RSF assassinate five civilians, destroy university college in Dinder
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The al-Dinder Emergency Room in Sennar state, southeast Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
, said that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) destroyed a university college, assassinated five civilians, and injured dozens during their attack on the surrounding villages.

By the end of June, the RSF took control of Dinder, but the army was able to regain control before losing it again after fierce battles, causing most of the city’s residents to flee to their villages and the neighbouring Gedaref state in eastern Sudan.

The Dinder Emergency Chamber, a group of volunteer professionals and activists, in a statement received by "Sudan Tribune", said that "the RSF militia killed three civilians from the village of Bayda and two dignitaries from the village of Habuya in the western countryside of Dinder."

The statement also pointed out that the paramilitary forces destroyed the College of Veterinary Medicine affiliated with the University of Sennar, located east of the Dinder River Bridge, "but also engaged in widespread looting and pillaging across the villages of Abu Hashem, Um Dahir, Tukumbari, Bayda, and al-Bardana. "

The local volunteer group stressed that that the RSF’s ongoing campaign of violence, marked by the invasion of peaceful villages, terrorising and killing of residents, and forced displacement of those remaining, clearly demonstrates that this is a war waged against civilians, not the army.

It is noteworthy that the paramilitary forces invaded villages east, south, and west of the city, killing and injuring dozens of people.

Sudanese civilian coalition snubs AU meeting over Islamists' inclusion
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Coordination of Civilian Democratic Forces "Tagadum" has declined to participate in the initial phase of political dialogue organised by the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
(AU) in Addis Ababa, scheduled from 10 to 15 July.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the coalition’s General Secretariat cited concerns over a lack of transparency in the meeting’s design. It stated that information received had confirmed these concerns over the participation of the Islamists of the banned National Congress Party.

The statement went on to say that the meeting is dominated by elements of the former regime, its associates, and what it termed "forces of war." This "marginalises the forces for peace and civil democratic transformation, weakening their role".

The coalition believes this situation will only legitimise the war and its proponents, rather than achieving peace in Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
The African Union has been sticking to its idea of an " all-inclusive Sudan political dialogue process" referring to the participation of the Sudanese Islamists who reject the idea of a secular state in Sudan and actively undermined the civilian-led transitional government of Abdallah Hamdok.

On 10 June, the coalition received an invitation from Mohammed Ibn Chambas, head of the AU High-Level Implementation Panel for Sudan, to attend the dialogue.

The coalition’s statement affirmed that it had carefully considered the invitation, as ending the war and establishing lasting peace in Sudan is its top priority.

"The invitation lacked details regarding the involved parties and the methodology used to design the process," the statement underscored. "Consequently, we requested a meeting with the mechanism to address our queries, which was held virtually on 25 June 2024. Unfortunately, we did not receive the necessary information, as the mechanism declined to inform us of the meeting’s participants and refused to consult on the matter."

RSF's Hemetti relieves his political adviser
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The commander of Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Mohammed Hamdan Daglo "Hemetti," on Wednesday decided to terminate Youssif Ibrahim Ezzat’s assignment as his political advisor effective 10 July.

According to a statement issued by the RSF’s official spokesperson, Hemedti directed the relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to implement the decision, "which comes within the framework of routine internal arrangements."

Analysts suggest the decision to dismiss Ezzat stems from his comments on the Islamic Movement’s exclusion from last week’s Cairo conference of political forces, a move he deemed unjustified.

He further elaborated, "I believe the Cairo conference outcomes signal a potential path towards a political process involving all stakeholders. This process could lead to a comprehensive agreement among Sudanese people, addressing the crisis and its underlying causes. It would also establish solutions for state-building, governance structures, citizenship rights, and the resolution of all pertinent issues."

Ezzat served as a political advisor to the former deputy chairman of the Sovereign Council, Hemetti, since 2021. He became the primary spokesperson for the paramilitary forces following the outbreak of war with the Sudanese army in April 2023.

In April, the RSF organized a workshop in Uganda to restructure its civilian and political work. During the workshop, it was decided that Abdel Rahim Daglo, the RSF’s second-in-command, would take over the management of the RSF’s Civilian Coordination Council.

An anti-terrorism brief was held on Fort Liberty (Bragg) today where they listed several Pro-Life organizations as “terrorist organizations.”

The slide you see here followed right after a slide about ISIS, a terror group in the Middle East.

The organizations labeled by the army as terror organizations include National Right to Life and Operation Rescue.

They also included a screenshot of a license plate with “IM4IT,” which is a plate many Pro-Life citizens put on their car which implies normal citizens are terrorists if they display this plate.

The slide goes on to mention activities which these organizations participate in which include being Pro-Life, opposing Row v Wade, demonstrating and protesting (a 1st Amendment protected right), “Truth Displays,” and picketing.

They also falsely attribute the bombing of abortion clinics to National Right to Life.

Keep in mind they’re not labeling them as extremist organizations (which would still be crazy), but as terrorist organizations.

The military and Dept of Defense are insanely out of control. Service-members are being indoctrinated to view Pro-Life groups as the enemy.

Hochstein seeking deal allowing both sides to claim victory
[NAHARNET] U.S. mediator Amos Hochstein is seeking an agreement through which both the Lebanese and Israeli sides can "appear victorious," an informed source said in remarks to Kuwait’s al-Anbaa newspaper, quoting Western diplomats.

"One of the exits that he is looking for would be a balanced, mutual retreat from both sides of the border by Hezbollah’s fighters and the Israeli army with U.S. guarantees and an active role for the U.N. forces," the daily said.

Hezbollah since October has traded almost daily cross-border fire from Leb

Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The cross-border violence since October 8 has killed nearly 500 people in Lebanon, mostly fighters but also including 95 civilians, according to an AFP tally.

On the Israeli side, at least 29 people have been killed, the majority of them soldiers, according to Israeli authorities.

's administration will resume shipping 500-pound bombs to Israel but will continue to hold back on supplying 2,000-pound bombs over concerns about their use in densely populated Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression anddisproportionate response...
, a US official said on Wednesday.

The US in May paused a shipment of 2,000-pound and 500-pound bombs due to concern over the impact they could have in Israel's war on Gaza.

The administration's particular concern had been use of such large bombs in Rafah, where over one million Paleostinians had taken refuge.

"We've been clear that our concern has been on the end-use of the 2,000-lb bombs, particularly for Israel's Rafah campaign which they have announced they are concluding," a US official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

One 2,000-pound bomb can rip through thick concrete and metal, creating a wide blast radius.

The US official said the 500-pound bombs were put together in the same shipment with the larger ones that were paused and therefore got held up.

"Our main concern had been and remains the potential use of 2,000 lb bombs in Rafah and elsewhere in Gaza ... Because our concern was not about the 500 lb bombs, those are moving forward as part of the usual process," the official added.

The US has notified Israel that it is releasing the 500-pound bombs but keeping the hold on the larger ones, a person familiar with the matter said.

In June, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed Washington was withholding weapons, and pleaded with US officials to remedy the situation. Biden's aides expressed disappointment and confusion over the Israeli leader's remarks.

During his visit to Washington, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said there had been significant progress on the issue of US munitions supply to Israel, adding "obstacles were removed and bottlenecks were addressed."

Despite the pause on one shipment, Israel has continued to receive steady flow of US weaponry.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Armenia, Azerbaijan foreign ministers to hold US-mediated talks: Yerevan
[NEWARAB] Foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet in Washington on Wednesday for a fresh round of US-mediated talks, Yerevan's foreign ministry said, as the arch-foe neighbours negotiate a peace agreement.

The Caucasus rivals fought two wars -- in the 1990s and in 2020 -- over control of Azerbaijan's breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh region, which had been predominantly populated by ethnic Armenians.

Last autumn, Baku recaptured the mountainous enclave in a lightning one-day offensive that led to the exodus of its entire Armenian population -- more than 100,000 people.

Years of internationally mediated peace talks between Baku and Yerevan have failed to produce a breakthrough, but the two countries' leaders have said recently that a comprehensive peace deal is within reach.

"A trilateral meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken

He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under the corrupt and inept Obama administration. He advocated for the 2003 invasion of Iraq while serving as the Democratic staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2002 to 2008. He was a foreign policy advisor for the Biden 2008 presidential campaign. During his tenure in the Obama administration, Blinken helped craft B.O.'s policy on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the nuclear program of Iran. We all saw how well each of those worked. After leaving government service, Blinken moved into the private sector, co-founding WestExec Advisors, a lobbying firm...

"Hamas is negotiating on its own behalf and on behalf of the Paleostinian factions, and also on behalf of the entire Axis of Resistance®. What Hamas accepts, we all accept," Nasrallah said, speaking in a televised address to mourn the recent killing of a senior Hezbollah commander.

Hezbollah began firing at Israeli targets on the border in support of Paleostinians after its ally Hamas launched the 7 October attack on Israel that precipitated the war in Gaza.

It has repeatedly labelled its attacks as a "support front" aimed at drawing Israeli military resources away from Gaza and supporting Paleostinians.

Tens of thousands of Israelis and Lebanese have been forced to evacuate from the area around the border between the two countries and international observers have warned in recent weeks of the growing risk of a wider conflict.

Videos and images shared online showed Paleostinians, including children, sheltering at al-Awdah school fleeing in terror as bombs rained down with significant destruction to the facility and bodies scattered everywhere.

One clip, exclusively obtained by Al Jazeera, showed a crowd watching young boys playing football in the school's yard moments before loud explosions were heard, prompting people to run for cover.

#1  Interesting.

Work on gravitational waves involves Bayesian analysis, which uses probability to quantify uncertainty. In this case, the Glasgow team turned the same statistical model loose on the damaged calendar wheel.

The analysis also suggests the holes were machined with incredible precision, with just 0.028mm variation between them. That would mean whoever built the Antikythera mechanism had an advanced understanding of mathematics and advanced metalworking.

Mick Jagger has stirred up an old sex scandal rumor about Justin Trudeau's mother during a Rolling Stones concert in Vancouver.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Mick Jagger has stirred up an old sex scandal rumor about Justin Trudeau's mother during a Rolling Stones concert in Vancouver.

The rock and roll star, 80, was booed by the crowd at BC Place stadium on July 5 when he praised the Canadian prime minister on stage.

But he appeared to poke fun at his mother Margaret Trudeau and the time she spent partying with the Rolling Stones in the 1970s.

'We love your Mr. Trudeau,' Jagger said to a chorus of boos. 'I mean, his family has always been such big fans of our band.'

It sparked more rumors about the Canadian politician's mother after former president Donald Trump allegedly accused Margaret of sleeping with all the Rolling Stones.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
The Three Phases of the Ukrainian War
[AmericanThinker] NATO’s war against Russia is progressing through three distinct phases: euphoria, apprehension, and despair.

Phase I. Euphoria

The Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, caused a sense of euphoria in Washington and at NATO headquarters. The tactic of escalating Moscow’s anxiety about Ukraine’s impending NATO membership had proven successful. As NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told a European Parliament joint committee meeting: "So he (Putin) went to war to prevent NATO, more NATO, close to his borders...."

Stoltenberg inadvertently unveiled the truth. The conflict did not begin because Putin sought to resurrect the Soviet Union or out of fear of Ukrainian democracy. Stoltenberg and the leadership of NATO were fully aware that Russia would eventually be compelled to act according to its security imperatives and invade Ukraine to alleviate the NATO threat at its borders.

The cunning aspect of this plan was a deception. NATO never had any intention of granting membership to Ukraine. Therefore, even the most fervent supporters of NATO cannot deny that it was NATO's deliberate provocation that ignited the war.

The next steps appeared pretty straightforward.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, informed lawmakers during closed-door briefings before the invasion on February 2 and 3, 2022, that an anticipated full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine might lead to Kyiv’s capture in just 72 hours.

The strategy entailed deliberately allowing Ukraine to collapse, which would prompt the West to impose devastating economic sanctions. The objectives were the destruction of the Russian economy, the resignation of Putin, and, ultimately, the elimination of Russia as a European power

After Russia’s unsuccessful attempt to capture Kiev, there was a surge of wild optimism within NATO circles. There was a prevailing notion that Russia’s military strength was not as formidable as previously believed. Thus, NATO saw an opportunity not only to destroy the Russian economy but also to defeat Russia militarily.

The US and its NATO allies decided to set aside any pretenses and fully engage in the conflict, providing Ukraine with modern weaponry, intelligence, training, financing, and all necessary resources to bolster NATO’s chances of prevailing, all while upholding a facade of plausible deniability. Ukraine was supposed to bear the brunt of battle and pay the cost in blood and destruction.

The plan held considerable plausibility, and the data supported it. In 2022, NATO’s defense budget exceeded Russia’s by 13-fold (NATO’s one trillion dollars versus Russia’s $75 billion). The combined GDP of all 31 members amounted to a staggering $46 trillion. In comparison, Russia’s GDP was a mere two trillion dollars. The population of NATO countries was 1.2 billion, while Russia had 145 million. Judging by the numbers, Russia appeared to be an easy target.

Phase II. Apprehension

Despite the numbers, the multibillion-dollar investment, the massive supply of modern weaponry, the hundreds of thousands dead and wounded, and the massive destruction of Ukraine’s infrastructure, none of the NATO objectives have been achieved two and a half years later. Putin’s grip on power remains unshaken, and the sanctions have failed to significantly affect the Russian economy. Moreover, Russia is successfully building a formidable military-industrial complex, engineering and producing weapons that often surpass Western designs in capability and innovation.

This sobering reality forced NATO to reshape the conflict and develop a new strategy. The new approach revolved around a protracted war of attrition aimed at debilitating Russia both economically and militarily.

It is becoming exceedingly evident that America and its Western allies became a hostage of sanctions and found themselves trapped between the continuation of war and economic and military realities. From this untenable situation, they could see no exit and continued doing the same things, expecting different results. The European Union has now enforced its 14th set of sanctions, prompting one to question what this latest round can achieve that the previous 13 could not. Meanwhile, NATO is in the process of organizing the provision of F-16s and other advanced weaponry to Ukraine.

Phase III. Despair

The conflict has now escalated to its most critical stage when desperate people do desperate things. As the tables turned in favor of Russia, NATO is running out of options. The situation led to a series of reckless and incendiary remarks from Western officials and NATO leaders advocating for a significant escalation of the conflict beyond Ukraine’s borders by launching attacks on Russia territory using long-range missiles supplied by NATO countries.

The US and its NATO partners are delusional and fail to realize that they are facing an unwinnable situation. It is the immutable fact that a nuclear-armed state cannot be defeated. If Ukraine loses, it will be perceived as NATO’s defeat. Conversely, if Russia falters, it will inevitably result in a nuclear war. Two and half years ago, NATO leaders provoked the Russian invasion, leading to a tragic outcome. Now, as to validate their lack of sanity, they are frantically escalating the conflict, which may lead to a catastrophe. Clearly, regardless of how we analyze the situation, it is becoming increasingly dire for the US and its allies militarily and geopolitically.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Slain nursing student's gruesome injuries by ex-boyfriend
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] These are the gruesome injuries inflicted on nursing student Lauren Johansen by the 'psychopath' ex who would go on to allegedly kidnap and murder her after a judge lowered his bond.

The 22-year-old was pistol-whipped and beaten to a pulp by warped Bricen Rivers, 23, after he flew into a jealous rage during a night out in Nashville last December.

She survived the violence but photos taken afterwards - and published for the first time by DailyMail.com - reveal her petite body riddled with bruises and her face so bloody and swollen she was barely recognizable.

Lauren's wounds were cataloged by her physician dad Lance Johansen, 58, who wanted the courts to see what Rivers was capable of as he awaited trial on kidnapping and stalking charges.

Lance was so worried for his 'wonderful, kind' daughter's safety that he attended the preliminary hearing to warn a Davidson County judge that Rivers would 'finish the job' if he ever got out of jail.

To his astonishment, Judge Cheryl Blackburn, a longtime Democrat jurist, later decided to lower the alleged attacker's bond from $250,000 to $150,000, paving the way for his June 24 release.

Just nine days after he posted bond and walked free, Lauren was found beaten to death in Gulfport, Mississippi, and Rivers was arrested on suspicion of murdering her.

'You can see what happened when he hit her 100 times back in December so just imagine what he did to her when nobody was around to save her,' Lance told DailyMail.com, fighting tears.

The heartbroken dad-of-four, a respected orthopedic surgeon, added: 'I realize people have rights but you can't just let loose a wild animal.

Georgia will now require ballots to be hand-counted each day of voting to match machine counts
[X]

… BREAKING: The Georgia Election Board has voted 3-1 to adopt rule to require ballots be hand counted at the precinct level by poll officers each day of voting to ensure the totals match with the machines

This is a GAME CHANGER for election integrity

"The poll manager and the two witnesses shall sign a label affixed to the container indicating that it contains all of the correct ballots from the indicated ballot box and no additional ballots." - The new rule says

This rule used to exist until corrupt Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger ordered poll managers to stop doing it. I now think Georgia is going full blown red because of this and other good changes that have been put in place.

Government Corruption
Failing Up: Blocked Biden Nominee Now Overseeing White House Effort To Potentially Shutter Major Energy Source
[WFB] Shortly after Laura Daniel-Davis failed Senate confirmation for the second time last year, the White House appointed her to serve as the second in command at the Department of the Interior—a promotion. Now, she has been given yet another senior role crafting energy policy potentially impacting millions of Americans.

Last month, the White House created a new task force to oversee the government's controversial review of four federally managed dams located within the Columbia River system in southern Washington State. The task force's work could ultimately lead to the dams, which provide power to millions of residents and allow large quantities of agricultural products to be transported, being torn down over environmental concerns.

Buried in the announcement was the revelation that Daniel-Davis, the Interior Department's acting deputy secretary, will co-chair the task force alongside Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration assistant administrator for fisheries Janet Coit.

The announcement came nearly eight months after Daniel-Davis was promoted to her current role in an "acting" capacity and President Joe Biden withdrew her nomination to be an assistant secretary at the Interior Department. Daniel-Davis, who had served in a principal deputy assistant secretary role, was removed from consideration after her nomination faced bipartisan opposition and, as a result, failed to clear two separate Senate committee votes.

Daniel-Davis's appointment is the latest example of a Biden administration official failing up after receiving stout opposition in the Senate. And it puts a spotlight on the administration's ongoing closed-door efforts to study the effects of the four dams, efforts that lawmakers and industry groups in the region have warned could result in the eventual destruction of the vital dams.

It also represents a potential conflict of interest for Daniel-Davis. Between 2018 and 2020, she served as vice president and chief of policy at the National Wildlife Federation (NWF)—an eco advocacy group and the lead plaintiff in high-profile litigation against the federal government, challenging the continued operation of the four dams in question. She worked for NWF as it pursued the litigation.

In her current position, Daniel-Davis was notably involved in a secretive agreement late last year with NWF to pause that litigation while the issue is reviewed by the White House task force she has now been tapped to lead, according to federal court filings reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.

"The placement of an unqualified political appointee to a task force with no authorization and no purpose further underscores how out of touch the Biden administration is with the needs of the northwest," Sen. James Risch (R., Idaho), a senior member of the Senate Energy Committee, told the Free Beacon. "I opposed Daniel-Davis' nomination to the Department of the Interior twice. Failure to pass the Senate alone should disqualify her from any roles in this administration, let alone overseeing the biased Columbia River Task Force."

"I can't reiterate this enough—Congress, and Congress alone, can authorize removal of the four lower Snake River Dams," Risch said. "Given this administration's continued efforts to breach the dams despite their many benefits including hydropower's clean, reliable, always-on energy, Daniel-Davis' appointment is disappointing. I will continue to fight this administration's efforts to dismantle our federal hydropower system at every turn."

The lower Snake River dams are essential to the Pacific Northwest economy—they provide power to millions of residents and enable barges transporting mainly agriculture goods to travel freely. The dams, built in the 1960s and 1970s by the Army Corps of Engineers, provide about 8 percent of Washington State's electricity, enough to serve millions of residents, and allow for the transport of a staggering 40 percent of the nation's total wheat production.

Democrats, environmental activists, and Native American tribes, however, have long called for the dams to be breached, or torn down, arguing that they inhibit salmon and steelhead populations from migrating. According to Earthjustice, a left-wing outfit that has joined NWF's litigation, man-made dams are the biggest threat to salmon and have downstream impacts on other species, such as orcas, which feed on the salmon.

NWF and several other activist groups and tribes in November signed a confidential mediation agreement regarding the dams with the Biden administration, according to court records. Daniel-Davis signed the document on behalf of the Department of the Interior. Her signature appears on the document alongside that of NWF vice president for conservation policy Abby Tinsley, who worked with—and ultimately succeeded—Daniel-Davis at NWF.

Under the mediation agreement, plaintiffs agreed to stay their years-long litigation through 2028 while the federal government agreed to devote $1 billion to wild fish restoration and clean energy power development.

The White House stopped short of backing any plan to breach the dams, but it said its investments, unveiled in the mediation document, would ensure energy reliability and transportation "in the event" that the dams are breached. That sentiment was reiterated by administration officials after the Columbia River Task Force was established in June.

"Acknowledging the devastating impact of federal hydropower dams on tribal communities is essential to our efforts to heal and ensure that salmon are restored to their ancestral waters," said Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland.

The White House also named Nik Blosser to be the task force's executive director. Blosser, who served as former Oregon governor Kate Brown's (D.) chief of staff between January 2017 and November 2020, was in the position when Brown publicly endorsed breaching the dams to "address immediate needs of orcas and salmon."

The Department of the Interior also released a report that noted the "estimated benefits of dam breach" and cited research that found a plan to breach the dams presents "greatest opportunity for restoring Snake River stocks."

The creation of the task force, the mediation agreement, and the Interior Department's report are all prongs of Biden's broader plan to prioritize the restoration of salmon, steelhead, and other native fish populations in the Columbia River Basin. The president outlined that plan in a Sept. 2023 presidential memo.

Biden's actions have earned rebukes from lawmakers such as Risch and Rep. Dan Newhouse (R., Wash.), as well as industry groups. Those groups include the Public Power Council, an association of electric utilities in the Pacific Northwest; the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association, which represents navigation, transportation, trade, and agriculture interests; and Northwest RiverPartners, which represents power providers across seven Northwestern states.

"We are asserting that Northwest public power must be included as a meaningful part of the Task Force's efforts going forward," the Public Power Council's executive committee wrote in a July 2 letter to Biden, noting that it hasn't been consulted. "Our utilities collectively bring decades of invaluable experience balancing complex power grid objectives with those critical to increasing salmon abundance."

The Department of the Interior and the White House didn't respond to requests for comment.

They'll compensate with more wind and solar. Oh, and conservation. Brownouts. Rolling blackouts. Maybe they've gt a theory that the salmon and orcas can generate electricity.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Israel identifies 100 UNRWA employees who work as 'terrorist operatives', asks for their dismissal
[FoxNews] Israel sent names, military IDs of 'terrorist operatives' working for UNRWA

Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) is employing 100 terrorist operatives and directly asked the organization to terminate the staffers immediately.

In the July 4 letter, which was obtained by Fox News Digital, Ambassador Amir Weissbrod wrote that the presence of Hamas terrorists in UNRWA has been a "recurring concern" for Israeli officials.

"However, the full scope of this unprecedented infiltration was unknown and became clear only after the October 7th terrorist attack on Israel, in which, as you know, UNRWA employees actively participated," Weissbrod said.
The benefit of boots on the ground is that you get to empty the file cabinets before blowing up the tunnels.
"In recent months Israel has discovered that hundreds of terrorists, members of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) have been employed by UNRWA in the Gaza Strip, some of them holding high-ranking positions in UNRWA or in Hamas."

The ambassador added that the intent of his letter was to share "some additional information on this matter," and proceeded to identify the employees associated with Hamas.

"Please find attached a document containing 100 names and IDs of terrorist operatives who are currently employed by UNRWA-Gaza," Weissbrod wrote. "This list includes their military IDs as well."

The official added that the list contains a "small fraction" of terrorist operatives employed by UNRWA, and that the names of more employees will be sent in the future.

"Israel expects from you and your organization to immediately terminate the employment of any member of Hamas or PIJ…their work in UNRWA poses a security risk for Israel, and represents a breach of the principle of neutrality as was mentioned in Ms. Colonna's report," Weissbrod added.

"This list will also be provided to major UNRWA donors."

The Israeli government has repeatedly released photographs, video and documents proving that Hamas terrorists have worked within the UNRWA, and the agency has previously accepted the authenticity of the information. In January, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini announced that he had fired UNRWA staff members that were involved in the Oct. 7 attacks.

"To protect the Agency’s ability to deliver humanitarian assistance, I have taken the decision to immediately terminate the contracts of these staff members and launch an investigation in order to establish the truth without delay," he said. "Any UNRWA employee who was involved in acts of terror will be held accountable, including through criminal prosecution," he said at the time.

However, Lazzarini has also recently pushed back against Israeli criticism of his organization. During a meeting at the U.N. in Geneva, he said that the UNRWA was "staggering under the weight of relentless attacks."

"Israel has long been critical of the agency's mandate. But it now seeks to end UNRWA's operations, dismissing the agency's status as a United Nations entity supported by an overwhelming majority of member states," he said. "If we do not push back, other U.N. entities and international organizations will be next, further undermining our multilateral system."

China-Japan-Koreas
China Caught Using Fuel Tankers to Store Cooking Oil
Third World problems. At least they did get caught… eventually.
[Breitbart] China’s state-owned China Grain Reserves Corporation, better known as Sinograin, is facing both public outrage and government investigations after a state-run newspaper caught the company transporting cooking oil in uncleaned tankers also used for fuel shipments.
Sure, but the poisonous substances would be really, really dilute, right? Nothing for the Chinese consumer to worry about.
Sinograin is China’s largest grain storage and transportation company. Reporters from the Beijing News followed tanker trucks from Sinograin and a privately-owned corporation called the Hopefull Grain and Oil Group and discovered the trucks were switching between cargoes of fuel and cooking oil without getting cleaned between shipments.

Some of the fuel involved in these unclean shipping procedures was from the China Energy Investment Corporation, which is also a state-run enterprise. The state-run China Daily reported that the fuel included loads of “coal-to-liquids,” a toxic chemical produced during coal processing.

Truck drivers told Beijing News it was an “open secret” among their ranks that tankers carrying toxic liquids, including some industrial chemicals in addition to fuel, were also transporting edibles, like cooking oil and syrup.

Chinese consumers, who have suffered through a long series of food and pharmaceutical safety scandals, were outraged by the report, especially since it involved major brand names and state-owned enterprises. One of the biggest social media firestorms of recent years erupted Saturday.

Sinograin tried a little damage control on Saturday, claiming it was as shocked by the Beijing News report as anyone and would order a full company investigation into truckers who might be violating food safety regulations.

The company’s spin doctoring was in vain. By Monday, Communist Party-controlled media outlets were denouncing company executives as accessories to attempted murder and demanding tough investigations by the central government.

State-run CCTV said the actions of Sinograin and Hopefull were “tantamount to poisoning,” and the public was “confused and stunned” to discover big brands linked to the state would show such “extreme disregard for the life and health of customers.”

China’s powerful State Council, effectively the national cabinet, sought to reassure the public by swiftly assembling a “joint investigation group” with officials from several ministries, including the Food Safety Commission and the Public Safety Bureau.

“Enterprises in violation and relevant responsible persons will be severely punished according to law,” the State Council pledged.

China’s state-run Global Times noted that social media users have uncovered old videos of news reports dating back to 2005 that documented dangerous incidents of food oil transported in the same tankers as chemicals.

The Global Times burbled that swift action by the gigantic Communist government could ensure food safety problems are “nipped in the bud,” but if these unsafe practices have been going on for 20 years or more, the situation would seem to have long ago passed the bud-nipping stage.

All of the companies linked to the scandal have promised to perform internal investigations, and Sinograin appears to have pulled its cooking oil products from some e-commerce platforms, although they remain available on others.

#2  I would add he's probably cheesed off enough people that all of his dirty laundry would be aired.

His 'foundation' does strange things.

It is important to remember that both Clooney and Obama spent hours intimately four weeks ago. And now they are like, "Oh geez, didn't notice."

They were both in on it.

#4  I think Ace is right, that there is a lot of cover your ass going on, the story being, "oh he was fine 3 months ago?" I bet they even invent something like Sudden Onset Dementia Syndrome (SODS)

What I think is 3 months ago there was a Go/No Go meeting, and the Go took the vote, thinking they could make the line. Maybe the last three months were particularly deteriorating, but everyone who knows stuff knew this was at least 2 years in the making.

Its funny to see people like Clooney and Snuffleuppagus' ego think they have a right to have an opinion and get jerked back in line. "Cabinet member mentioned to me a problem 2 years ago" You don't say. So what did people know and when did they know it, because if some nobody reported knew, everybody knew.

They knew so hard, that when Biden went down to that Organization of American States meeting and had dinner, there were explicit instructions not to talk to even make social contact with Biden, because right before the conference he had a real no-clothes wild moment. That was 2022.

But I think the pivot will be, yes we had concerns three months ago, so we should be able to precede any of the state candidate deadlines which have expired. Because fair, and poor Uncle Joe.

I bet there is some real Game of Derps going on right now.

Pugacheva comments on the missile hitting a children's hospital in Kyiv
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited

Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets

“God is patient, but there is a limit to everything,” Pugalkina wrote on Instagram.

I’ll comment:

1) It is a great pity that children were injured (several children were caught by fragments from a fallen Ukrainian air defense missile). Children should never suffer.

2) It is a great pity that Pugachikha did not mention (and clearly not by accident, but on purpose) that it was a Ukrainian air defense missile.

I repeat once again, thank God there were no killed children and only the corner of a two-story administrative building collapsed.

Despite the attempts of Western media and Ukrainian authorities to blame Russia, the facts that it was a Ukrainian air defense missile speak for themselves. The screenshots taken from the video clearly show that the missile has fins typical of an AIM-120 (launched by the Norwegian Nasams mobile air defense system), and not an X-101.

This is evidenced not only by the scale of destruction (the Kh-101 has a warhead of 400-800 kg, while the AIM-120 has only 18-23 kg, which roughly corresponds to the scale of the defeat - the collapse of only a small part of the building and shrapnel damage to adjacent buildings), not only by the silhouette, but also by the ratio of the linear dimensions of the missile (diameter and length), and the nature of the damage.

The length of the AIM-120 missile is 366 cm, the diameter is 17.8 cm, and the ratio of length to diameter is 1/20.6. For the Kh-101, these parameters are 745 cm, 74.2 cm, the ratio is 1/10, for the Kh-55 588 cm, 51.4 cm, the ratio is 1/11.4, respectively. The screenshot from the video of the arrival clearly shows that even despite the shooting at an angle, not exactly in the side projection, the length of the missile exceeds its diameter by more than 15 times.

3) It is a great pity that the two-faced Pugakina NEVER commented on the outright genocide that her native country Israel is committing against the Palestinians. It is a great pity that she did not comment on the death of 17,000 Palestinian children at the hands of the Israeli military in a short period of several months. This is more than all the child victims in military conflicts ALL OVER THE WORLD in four years! Although why am I criticizing Alla? She probably has her own, separate God in Israel.

4) Don't be like Pugachikha - a cynical and two-faced old woman.

Social activist Manukyan: the idea of recognizing Pugacheva as a foreign agent is already “overripe”

The initiative to recognize singer Alla Pugacheva as a foreign agent is already overdue. This opinion was expressed to a Regnum News Agency correspondent on July 10 by public figure Vadim Manukyan, commenting on the call by State Duma deputy, First Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee Alexei Zhuravlev to recognize Pugacheva as a foreign agent and deprive her of her property in Russia for discrediting the Armed Forces.

Earlier, the singer published a post on social media about the shelling of a children's hospital in Kiev, signing it with the words that even God's patience has its limits.

Manukyan noted that over the past two and a half years, Pugacheva has repeatedly made statements that cannot be called pro-Russian.

"During this time, Pugacheva has demonstrated that she is not on Russia's side, and now she has shown what point of view she adheres to. Therefore, statements about the need to recognize her as a foreign agent are entirely justified. This initiative is long overdue. In addition, the singer herself previously asked to be included in the register of foreign agents, and now she will probably receive this status," the public figure emphasized.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, after the start of the special operation in Ukraine, Pugacheva and her husband Maxim Galkin (an individual recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) left Russia. They lived in Israel, but left after the Palestinian-Israeli conflict worsened. The singer has repeatedly spoken harshly about her native country and its residents. Thus, in March, Pugacheva posted a video message on social media in which she stated that "normal people are not going to return to Russia."

After the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, Pugacheva did not react to the tragedy for six days, and then posted that grief should supposedly be in the soul, not on social media pages. This caused a wave of indignation on the Internet.

According to political scientist and dean of the media communications department at the Moscow State Institute of Culture Yuri Kot, it is high time to recognize Pugacheva and others like her as foreign agents. He emphasized that Pugacheva is truly an enemy who has been working against Russia for a long time.

On July 8, the Kiev military administration reported that the Okhmatdet children's hospital in the Shevchenkivskyi district was allegedly damaged as a result of a missile strike on Kiev. The Russian Defense Ministry denied the accusations of a strike on civilian objects in Ukraine, adding that photographs and video footage from the destruction sites indicate that a Ukrainian air defense missile fell.

The Kremlin emphasized that the Russian Armed Forces do not, as a matter of principle, strike civilian targets during military operations, and called for reference to the statement of the defense department.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the Kiev regime's attempts to use the tragedy with the children's hospital in Kiev for propaganda inhumane. The official representative of the department, Maria Zakharova, recalled that numerous witnesses confirmed that one of the missiles of the Western NASAMS air defense system hit a building on the territory of the children's hospital.

About blocking YouTube in Russia
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text by D. Puchkov

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin is in italics.

[ColonelCassad] The other day, YouTube destroyed and banned channels of Russian artists, including those of SHAMAN, Polina Gagarina, Yulia Chicherina, Oleg Gazmanov, Grigory Leps and actor Vyacheslav Manucharov. Nothing new, they have destroyed hundreds of our channels before — channels of war correspondents, political bloggers, and blocked domestic media. For what?

Just for a pro-Russian patriotic position.

A couple of years ago, this same YouTube destroyed my channel, which had three million subscribers. For what? For the same thing, for a patriotic, pro-Russian position. The Ukrainian Nazis who work as moderators on YouTube really didn’t like what I was saying about Nazis.

Being a smart guy, a year and a half before that, I transferred all my content to the domestic resources of RuTube and VK video, but most users simply don’t think about such things. And here it is — a total ban and destruction of content without any explanation.

What can be said about YouTube in general? It is the main platform for ideological influence on the population of Russia. This platform operates under the strict control of the US government and intelligence agencies. Probably everyone remembers how at the beginning of the SVO YouTube called for the killing of Russians? And now it calls for the same thing, taking a sharply Russophobic position. And if this is not a threat to our national security, then what is it?

Adults do not understand how the Internet works and have practically no idea what is happening there. Adults watch domestic television, in which the US State Department is powerless. But on YouTube, the State Department reigns supreme, shaping the public consciousness of young people strictly in the key needed by the Americans, instilling values that are absolutely alien to us and implanting destructive meanings.

Of course, we are also to blame for this — instead of developing our own services, we have been intensively using others. As a result, an unpleasant situation has developed, in which our children are being raised by people who are not ours at all. And you will ask: what to do? And I will answer you. This same YouTube must either comply with the laws of the Russian Federation and obey our requirements, or it should not work on the territory of the Russian Federation at all. They have been repeatedly offered to comply with our laws, the result is zero. Well, if you do not want it the easy way, let's do it the hard way. Let's make it so that YouTube broadcasts to the territory of the Russian Federation simply stop.

YouTube does not want to live by Russian laws on the territory of the Russian Federation - well, let's first "pessimize" it, that is, radically complicate viewing of videos. If they do not get a clear hint, let's block it forever. Because we ourselves should be engaged in our public consciousness, and not the CIA under the leadership of the US State Department. We have our own resources and we can use them much more actively.

Colleagues in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation — we can get together and discuss this ugly situation, when CIA agents and Ukrainian Nazis are openly operating in our information space.

If anyone has something to say, speak up boldly.

P.S. I have been writing about the need to block YouTube in the Russian Federation (and not only it, but also WhatsApp, etc.) since 2022.The mass blocking of Russian channels has simply once again highlighted the obvious.

It would be good to also hold those who have been creating "alternatives to YouTube and taking state money for this" accountable since the early 2010s.

Helping the US government turn out the lights is not a proper response I would prefer. But you can't blame the Russians for theirs.

YouTube has blocked over 200 Russian channels in less than five years

Since 2020, the video hosting YouTube, owned by the American corporation Google, has blocked more than 200 Russian channels. This was reported on July 10 by the press service of Roskomnadzor (RKN).

Since the beginning of 2024 alone, the number of domestic resources blocked by the video hosting service has tripled compared to the entire previous year and amounted to 83 channels versus 27 Internet pages in 2023. In 2022, the video hosting service blocked access to 63 Internet pages, in 2021 - to 21, in 2020 - to 13 resources.

Roskomnadzor noted that the YouTube service is massively blocking channels of Russian state media, pages of famous Russian writers and artists who speak out in support of Russia and the actions of the authorities.

The department emphasized that such actions by the video hosting service are unacceptable, as they constitute an act of censorship and fundamentally violate the key principles of free dissemination of information and unimpeded access to it.

Roskomnadzor threatened the service with turnover fines for blocking Russian channels. They could amount to 5 to 10% of the company's total revenue for the previous year, but not less than 4 million rubles, and for a repeated violation - from 10 to 20% of the company's total revenue for the previous year, but not less than 8 million rubles.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on July 5, YouTube blocked the channels of performers Yaroslav Dronov (Shaman), Polina Gagarina, Yulia Chicherina, Grigory Leps, and Oleg Gazmanov. The blocking is related to the inclusion of a number of individuals in the EU list as part of the 14th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.

Shaman explained to journalists that his channel was blocked by the fact that he was Russian. The popular singer had almost 3 million subscribers.

Earlier, the YouTube channel "Empathy Manuchi", which belongs to the Russian actor and parodist Vyacheslav Manucharov, was blocked due to the EU sanctions. At the time of blocking, the channel had 1.77 million subscribers.

In January, the video hosting service blocked director Nikita Mikhalkov's channel BesogonTV, allegedly for multiple or serious violations of YouTube's rules regarding discriminatory statements. Mikhalkov himself was surprised that the program had been able to exist there for so long, given its focus on exposing the collective West.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the video hosting site’s actions a classic example of censorship

YouTube has been turned into a weapon of information warfare

YouTube has already deleted 83 Russian channels in 2024, and more than 200 have been blocked since 2020, Roskomnadzor reported. Meanwhile, more than 61,300 thousand prohibited materials remain undeleted on the video hosting service, including fakes about the SVO and LGBT propaganda.

What else can you expect from an American Internet resource where the Russian segment is moderated by Ukrainians? YouTube has long been turned into a weapon of information warfare. But we continue to use it simply because there is no alternative.

Russia needs to develop its own video hosting services with equally convenient functionality and content without Western censorship.

However, there is no need to ban YouTube. You can still watch cats there.

Colorado Declares Bird Flu Emergency
[Epoch Times] Colorado Gov. Jared Polis issued an emergency disaster declaration in his state over an outbreak of highly pathogenic bird flu in northeastern Weld County as officials recently reported that 1.8 million chickens were impacted by the virus.

The governor "verbally" declared a disaster after "an avian flu outbreak in a commercial poultry facility in Weld County,"
according to a statement from his office issued on July 8. Mr. Polis’s office did not name the facility that was impacted by the outbreak.

The declaration means that Colorado can use its emergency powers to "take all necessary and appropriate state actions to assist with response, recovery, and mitigation efforts."

Officials in the state said that the bird flu risk to Colorado residents remains low, noting that the virus is spreading among animals.
Prices will go up even higher, but we humans needn’t worry otherwise.
The virus is "not adapted to spread from person to person," Rachel Herlihy, state epidemiologist, said in a news release. "Right now, the most important thing to know is that people who have regular exposure to infected animals are at increased risk of infection and should take precautions when they have contact with sick animals."
Wash your hands frequently, and don’t touch your t-zone.

How Congress's ability to play the stock market could be stymied
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
A bipartisan group of senators are pushing a new stock trading ban for members of Congress on an expedited schedule.

The announcement comes as lucrative stock trades by lawmakers have been under more scrutiny as over $1 billion in trades were made in 2023 alone.

Though there are some laws in place to restrict members from trading on their inside knowledge in Congress, critics say that doesn't always happen.

A recent report from DailyMail.com found many members were trading millions of dollars in stock, including risky options, and others had traded a total volume of over $100 million.

These shocking figures are well above the average member salary of $174,000.

Four senators introduced a measure Wednesday that would ban members, their spouses and dependents from trading stock and other securities.
More money for betting on the ponies, I suppose.

IDF attacks Syrian army infrastructure in Golan heights
[JPost] The IDF attacked infrastructure associated with the Syrian army in the Golan Heights, which the military said contradicted the Disengagement agreement between Israel and Syria (1974), the IDF announced on Wednesday.

The IDF fired on previously abandoned Syrian infrastructure, with the IDF's move to put those structures out of commission.

The IDF said they consider the Syrian army responsible for everything that happens in its territory and "will not allow attempts to violate the separation agreement."

The Disengagement agreement was made on May 31, 1974 between Israel and Syria. This provision aimed to create a buffer zone and prevent any potential clashes.

The strike against Syrian infrastructure comes a day after an Israeli couple, Noa and Nir Baranes, were killed in a Hezbollah rocket barrage toward the Golan Heights.

[FoxNews] Final vote was 221-198, with five Democrats voting in favor of the SAVE Act.

The House of Representatives approved a bill on Wednesday, aimed at ensuring only American citizens vote in federal elections.

After debating the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act on the House floor, which was pushed by House speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, was passed by a final vote of 221-198.

Five Democrats voted in favor of the measure, including Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas; Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas; Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine; Rep. Don Davis, D-N.C.; and Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Wash.

The bill now heads to the Senate, where it will face strong opposition from Democrats. President Biden has also said he will veto the measure.

According to him, as of the beginning of July, the Russian Federation lost 2939 people killed and 6509 wounded in the Kharkiv direction. Another 45 Russians surrendered.

In addition, the 83rd airborne assault brigade is constantly suffering losses, sometimes losing several dozen people per day, which is confirmed by both prisoners and radio intercepts. At the same time, Solimchuk emphasized that the Russians have quite serious offensive potential. They are regrouping, preparing assault groups in the rear, and restoring forces and logistics.

It is one of Russia's most advanced cruise missiles, using components from Western countries, especially the United States, intended for civilian use. Russia buys them on the open market and imports them through China. The manufacturers are listed as China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand. The newspaper writes, citing an expert, that the footage of the attack on the children's hospital in Kiev leaves no doubt that it was an Kh-101 missile, and there is no evidence that it was shot off course by air defense systems.

18:25 The prosecutor's office has opened a criminal case into another execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war by Russians, Prosecutor General Andrei Kostin reported. Earlier, a video of the murder of two captured Ukrainian soldiers by Russian soldiers appeared on social networks. The document also plans to state that NATO will continue to support Ukraine "on its irreversible path to a full Euro-Atlantic organization," but without specific steps.

At the same time, the text of the final declaration will indicate that NATO wants to maintain channels of communication with Moscow in order to "reduce risks and prevent escalation." 17:28 White House spokesman John Kirby said that Washington does not support the destruction of missiles from Polish territory over Ukraine: "We want to look for ways to make Ukraine effective, but we don't want escalation. It would be bad for the Ukrainians, it would be bad for the Poles, it would be bad for anyone. We don't want Putin to get arguments that the war was provoked by NATO, that this is a war between Russia and the West or between Russia and the United States."

17:15 F-16 fighter jets are currently on their way to Ukraine from Denmark and the Netherlands, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said. He added that they will arrive this summer. Half of this amount will be covered by the United States, the other half by allies. The money will go towards military aid, related orders and goods, as well as training. The spokesman for the Khortitsa operational-strategic group of troops, Nazar Voloshin, said that this was not true: "This is another lie from Russian propagandists... The defense forces are monitoring the situation in that direction and near the said settlement. It is worth noting and emphasizing that as of this morning, the enemy has not had any territorial gains, and there is no Russian enemy army in this settlement."

10:43 Russia lacks ammunition and troops for a large-scale offensive in Ukraine. To do this, it needs to secure significant supplies of ammunition from other countries in addition to what it has, a senior NATO official said at a briefing. He recalled that Russia recruits about 30,000 troops monthly, which allows it to suffer large losses on the battlefield. At the same time, according to NATO estimates, Russia will "certainly" be able to sustain life in a war economy for at least another 3-4 years. "We have shown that we can make a difference in the air with UAVs, at sea with sea drones. We have driven the Russian fleet out of Crimea without a fleet, and now they are at the bottom of the sea, where they belong. This year will be the year of land-based unmanned systems. You will see more of these on the front lines, and we expect them to make a difference in the next 12 months," Kamyshin said.

03:23 During the NATO summit, all members of the Alliance will sign a new defense industrial commitment that will help make industry in Europe and North America stronger, more innovative and capable of large-scale production, Stoltenberg said. "The first element of this commitment will be increased defense spending. The other main element will be that we must spend better and more together on defense," the Secretary General noted. Also, according to him, NATO member countries will take decisions aimed at closer cooperation with partners, in particular with Ukraine.

MiG-31 chases away Norwegian Poseidon from Russian border
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] A Russian MiG-31 fighter jet from the air defense duty forces drove away a Norwegian Air Force P-8A Poseidon patrol aircraft from the Russian border. This was reported on July 10 by the Ministry of Defense.

It is specified that earlier on July 10, Russian airspace control systems detected an air target approaching the Russian state border over the Barents Sea, which was identified as a P-8A Poseidon patrol aircraft of the Norwegian Air Force.

To prevent violation of the state border, a MiG-31 fighter from the air defense duty forces was raised into the air.

“As the Russian fighter approached, the foreign aircraft made a turn away from the state border of the Russian Federation,” the department reported.

After this, the MiG-31 safely returned to its base airfield, without violating the Russian state border.

The Defense Ministry emphasized that the Russian fighter's flight was carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace over neutral waters and in compliance with safety measures.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on June 30, a pilot of a Su-27P military aircraft intercepted a Danish Air Force F-16 over the Baltic Sea in the Kaliningrad region. The Russian aircraft flew close to the intruder and forced it to change course by effectively "rocking" its wings and demonstrating its weapons.

On June 28, the Russian Defense Ministry reported an increase in the intensity of flights of American strategic drones over the Black Sea. The department clarified that this indicates greater involvement of the United States and NATO countries in the Ukrainian conflict, and also creates increased risks of a direct clash between the alliance and Russia.

Why Kyiv's attempt to stage a second 'Bucha' failed
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Rusvesna] The author of the popular Telegram channel Fighterbomber, a military pilot, summed up the Kiev regime’s attempt to stage a second “Bucha”.

“Yesterday the whole world became a spectator of a grandiose performance called “they killed our children.”

Thousands of extras, absurd and senseless actions of the crowd (passing bottles of water is something), beautiful and highly artistic staged photos and videos from the ruins of one of the dozens of precision-struck targets, personally, caused only one desire in me.

To make this show become a real life for the s*** who took part in it. So that the saying "nakakali" would turn to these clowns in paint-stained robes running around red-spattered rooms with their best side.

Not a single Ukrainian child died in the hospital, which stood next to a huge military factory.

Moreover, they hit with precision, despite the work of electronic warfare in Kyiv, which was directly intended to ensure that, as a result of interference, missiles did not hit the protected military facility, but hit nearby, for example, a children's hospital.

As a result of our attack with dozens of missiles that flew hundreds of kilometers and hit military targets in the center of a once multi-million, densely populated city, no children died. The crests killed 15 civilians in Konstantinovka at once. With one blow. The whole world didn't give a shit about them. The mantra about "we are like that" is burned out with a hot iron in war. We are like that.

AN EYE FOR AN EYE, BLOOD FOR BLOOD.
At the beginning of the SVO, it was normal for the d*** (Ukrainians – ed. RV) to torture, cut and kill our prisoners in the most brutal ways.

Why do you think these cases have been reduced to a minimum? Because we are like that. And this game can be played by two people, and if necessary, we can play much better.

I'm glad the kids didn't die, and really, if they didn't die, it doesn't matter whose rocket it was. There should be more of these rockets flying.

It is necessary for the f*** (Ukrainians – ed. RV) to firmly know that for every one of our killed civilians and children they will answer tenfold.

This is the only way it has worked reliably for the last millennia."

Ukrainian Armed Forces and Western mercenaries have ceased to be 'warriors of light' for the West
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Evgeniy Konovalov

[REGNUM] In August 2023, a few hours after the battle, a wounded Russian soldier managed to crawl across a destroyed trench and ask for help from his opponents - a detachment of "international volunteers led by an American." Realizing that they were Americans, the soldier addressed them in a mixture of broken English and Russian. Then one of the mercenaries approached the fighter and shot him - first in the torso, the man fell, but was still breathing. Seeing this, another mercenary shot the soldier in the head, German medic Kaspar Grosse told the American publication The New York Times.

Four security personnel martyred in Peshawar IBO
[GEO.TV] Four security personnel were martyred during a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Peshawar on Wednesday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

On the reported presence of a high-profile terrorist, the action was jointly carried out by the personnel of the security forces and KP police in the Hassan Khel area today, the military's media wing said.

The joint IBO witnessed an intense exchange of fire in which three terrorists, including a high-value target — terrorist commander Abdul Raheem — were killed.

The security personnel also recovered weapons and ammunition from the possession of the slain terrorists, the ISPR added.

Raheem was highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies, who had a head money of Rs6 million fixed on him by the government.

The killed terrorist commander was also responsible for the martyrdom of Captain Hussain Jehangir Shaheed and Havildar Shafiq Ullah Shaheed on May 26, 2024, the military’s media wing said, adding: “Today’s operation has avenged the heinous act and has brought the main perpetrator to justice.”

However,
man does not live by words alone, despite the fact that sometimes he has to eat them...
during the intense exchange of fire, the four brave sons of soil — Sepoy Muhammad Idrees, 34, resident of Swabi district; Sepoy Badam Gul, 34, resident of Kohat district, as well as Sub-Inspector Tajmir Shah, 38, resident of Peshawar district and Assistant Sub Inspector Muhammad Akram of KP's CTD, 34, resident of Mansehra district, having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom.

“Pakistan’s security forces stand shoulder to shoulder with other law enforcement agencies to ensure peace and stability across Pakistan and such sacrifices of our brave men further strengthen our resolve,” it concluded.

The developer of Russian cruise missiles, GosMKB Raduga, has switched to working 24/7. This was reported by the general director of the design bureau, Sergei Bogatikov.

JSC GosMKB Raduga is a Russian design bureau specializing in the development and production of cruise missiles for various purposes. It is part of the state corporation Tactical Missile Weapons. "

During the visit, the Minister of Defense set us tasks for 2024-2025. We have accepted these tasks, and their implementation is proceeding at the required pace. This concerns both the supply of our products to the customer and measures to improve them. The work is carried out either in a three-shift mode, or in a two-shift mode - with extended shifts of 10-12 hours, six, and in many areas seven days a week, that is, in a 24/7 mode," said the CEO of the enterprise.

In addition, he spoke about the new missile "Product 720", which concentrates all the best design achievements, but the time has not yet come to disclose the characteristics.

There are still 2-3 missiles left for Ukraine. Antokha can not worry.

In the video, fishermen in the Caspian Sea observe missiles heading for Kiev. Filmed on July 8 during the strikes on the Artem plant.

State Department: US to triple ammunition production, including for Kyiv

The United States is planning to triple the production of ammunition in the coming years, including for the needs of Ukraine, said US Deputy Secretary of State for Arms Control Bonnie Jenkins.

She spoke on July 9 at an event of the United States Chamber of Commerce, timed to coincide with the North Atlantic Alliance summit in Washington. According to the deputy head of the State Department, this step will help not only Kiev, but will also allow the United States to replenish its stockpiles of shells and strengthen NATO's military capabilities.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, in early February, Assistant Secretary of the US Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Douglas Bush reported that by the end of 2024, the United States will be able to produce 80,000 artillery shells monthly. He emphasized that this will allow Washington to more fully support Kiev, replenish its own shell stockpiles and the stockpiles of American allies who have stated the need to have larger shell stockpiles, and also increase production capacity.

Bush specified that the United States will increase the production of Javelin anti-tank missiles, GMLRS guided missiles, ammunition for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, Stinger man-portable air defense systems and other weapons used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

On February 19, The Wall Street Journal reported that since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, US military orders have grown by 17.5%. According to the State Department, the country has concluded more than $80 billion in arms production deals over the course of the year. Of this amount, approximately $50 billion went to European allies.

On July 3, it became known that the new package of American aid to Ukraine included decommissioned HAWK air defense missiles and HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) shells worth $150 million. The entire support package is $2.35 billion. It also included Patriot air defense missiles, NASAMS, 155mm and 105mm artillery shells, mortar shells, TOW missiles, Javelin and AT-4 systems, and other weapons.

'Girls' creator Lena Dunham announces major plans after body shaming
[GEO.TV] Lena Dunham is taking a break from the cameras.

The Girls showrunner announced her plans to The New Yorker on Tuesday, citing mental health issues.
No! Reeeeally?
Dunham, 31, who was going to star as the lead has now passed on the role to Megan Stalter.

“Physically, I was just not up for having my body dissected again," she told the outlet as she spoke at length about the 2025 Netflix series.

However, the show creator does see the bright side to it, as she described her experience as working with 'a little Meryl Steep.'

“I was very inspired by her. She’s unbelievable; I think people are going to be so blown away,” Dunham said of her expectations with Stalter in the upcoming series that mirror Dunham’s life, as the New York native now lives in London with her husband, British Peruvian musician Luis Felber, who she married in 2021.

“I also think that I was not willing to have another experience like what I’d experienced around Girls at this point in my life. Physically, I was just not up for having my body dissected again. It was a hard choice, not to cast Meg — because I knew I wanted Meg — but to admit that to myself,” Dunham explained.

She added that the peace is another one of the perks, as she reflects on her meaning behind true win, “I used to think that winning meant you just keep doing it and you don’t care what anybody thinks," she said. "I forgot that winning is actually just protecting yourself and doing what you need to do to keep making work.”

“These places don’t protect women and minorities,” she said of the apps, adding, “I just realised that there was no way that I was going to move toward the ways I wanted to feel in my personal life if I still had access to those things.”

Dunham also announced she will no longer be directing the Polly Pocket film with Lily Collins, despite having worked on it for three years.

Russian Foreign Ministry has on the essence of the decisions that NATO will make at the summit in the US
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Russia does not expect any sudden steps from NATO at the alliance summit in Washington, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Rudenko said on July 10.

He clarified that all decisions made at the meeting in the US would be aimed at escalating the Ukrainian conflict.

"We do not expect anything from this summit. Since they are known, all these decisions, they will, unfortunately, not be aimed at a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis, but at further escalation of what is happening in Ukraine," the deputy head of the Foreign Ministry said during a speech on the sidelines of the Valdai Discussion Club.

He stressed that all the steps discussed at the NATO summit will not lead to anything good. Rudenko also noted that the Russian authorities will take all necessary measures to protect the Russian Federation from the steps announced by the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance at the meeting in Washington.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, on July 9, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov stated that the first day of the NATO summit in Washington demonstrated the true aggressive nature of the alliance. The diplomat explained that this military bloc is blindly following the path of escalation, increasing the risks of a third world war.

At the opening of the NATO meeting in Washington, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg noted that his organization cannot allow Russia to win the conflict in Ukraine. He added that the bloc regards Russia's success as the biggest threat to itself.

NATO announces intention to continue expansion in the Black Sea

The North Atlantic Alliance plans to continue expanding in the Black Sea and the Eastern Balkans. This is stated in the declaration of the NATO summit in Washington, published on July 10 on the official website of the alliance.

(KFOR). We reaffirm our continued support for Allied regional efforts to maintain security, stability and freedom of navigation in the Black Sea region," the document says.

According to the text of the declaration, the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance also declared their commitment to continue monitoring the situation in the Black Sea region, paying special attention to possible threats to NATO security.

In addition, NATO will continue to draw closer to the countries of the Indo-Pacific region, which plays a special role in Euro-Atlantic security.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, in the joint declaration, NATO countries also called on the entire world to refuse support for Russia in any form, since cooperation with the Russian Federation allegedly prolongs military actions in the conflict zone in Ukraine.

The Russian side, in turn, has repeatedly emphasized that Moscow has no reason to fight NATO. Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that Moscow and the alliance have no territorial claims against each other. According to the head of state, a possible full-scale conflict between Russia and NATO would put the world on the brink of a third world war. The President also recalled that the conflict in Ukraine was caused by the West's desire to reach Russia's borders.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Visit NYC! Times Square chaos sees 3 slashed, 1 pepper-sprayed and bitten in just four hours: cops
[NY Post] Three people were slashed and another pepper-sprayed and bitten near Times Square overnight into Wednesday — both in the subway and out on the street, authorities said.

The spate of unrelated attacks ended with a 26-year-old man slashed on his right arm as he stood on the 7 train platform at the Times Square subway hub about 3:45 a.m., cops said.

The victim claimed the suspect had accosted him previously — and, once confronted, the stranger knifed him in return, according to police sources.

Police at the scene of a man stabbed in the chest in the 40th Street Subway Station near the New York Times building.

The wounded man showed cops a photo of his attacker — and the suspect, identified as Michael Hernandez, 25, of Brooklyn, was soon busted by police, according to authorities and sources.

Hernandez was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.

Officers found a switchblade in the left pocket of his shorts, sources said.

In an unrelated attack around 1 a.m., Sara Flores, 19, was walking through Bryant Park, at West 42nd Street and Sixth Avenue, when she told Jennifer Tompkins, 30 — a complete stranger — that a group had just jumped her, cops said.

Tompkins warned Flores to leave her alone or she’d pepper-spray her — but Flores persisted, according to police.

Then an all-out brawl ensued between the women — with Tompkins allegedly pepper-spraying Flores and biting her on the lip — and Flores stabbing Tompkins in the head and the ribs, cops said.

Both women were arrested with assault and menacing, both in the second degree, police said.

Flores is from the Bronx and Tompkins from Queens, authorities said.
That explains it. I guess?
The earliest assault unfolded around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, when a 31-year-old man was slashed in the stomach after getting into an argument with another man on the southbound A, C and E platform, cops said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

The nature of the violent clash was unclear Wednesday, and no arrests have been made.

The chaotic incidents came hours after Mayor Eric Adams touted how much the Crossroads of the World is thriving.

"Any time you don’t believe the city’s back, just go hit Times Square and you see just the people walking, just enjoying being in our city," Hizzoner said at a Monday morning briefing.

Felony assaults are up about 13% so far this year in the confines of the Midtown South Precinct, which covers Times Square.

A total of 276 such crimes were reported from the beginning of the year through Sunday, compared to 244 during the same period in 2023, the latest data show.

Overall felony crime, however, is down in the precinct’s confines so far this year, with 1,766 incidents reported compared to 2,022 last year.

Thomas Anderson, 49, said those crime statistics made him feel nervous before visiting the city from Vermont for the first time this week.

"The problem is that if people don’t have options, they commit crimes," he said.

Sherri, a commuter from Suffolk County, is glad that she is strictly in the city until 5 p.m. every day. She blames crime on the legalization of weed and poor mental health.

"There’s a lot of mental health that comes into play and there’s just not enough help out there, so unfortunately other people are the victims of that," she said.

Michael Hargwood, 36, and his father Warren Hargwood, 62, said they didn’t find crime to be as big an issue as it’s made out to be, especially on the subway.

"It’s not as bad as they say it is, it comes in spurts," Michael said. "Earlier this year, you were inundated with incidents on the subway and now there’s none, I think after the National Guard came in the blink of an eye and now they’re not there."

China-Japan-Koreas
Now China is trying to genetically modify American soybeans in latest infiltration plot
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The top Republican lawmaker is sounding the alarm after a Chinese agricultural firm was approved to create 'genetically engineered soybeans' for consumption in the U.S.

The suspiciously rapid approval by the Department of Agriculture (USDA) of Chinese biotech firm Qi Biodesign should raise major alarm bells, says Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Chairman John Moolenaar, R-Mich.

That company, which specializes in gene editing, is partially funded by the Chinese government, he claims in a letter to President Biden's USDA Sec. Tom Vilsack exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com.

And the company specifically poses a threat to U.S. farming companies' secrets, he says.

His concern comes at a time of heightened anxiety about China's meddling in U.S. agricultural efforts - as the country owns over 347,000 acres of farmland near sensitive military bases.
