Israel counter-clobbers Hodeidah
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

… were targeted by Houthi drones yesterday. The #Houthis are enemies of the Yemeni people and have previously bombed Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and other Middle Eastern cities. They act as proxies for Iran's Islamic regime. Eliminating the Houthis serves the interests of the entire world.

Stacking the Jerusalem Post article that Frank G submitted earlier, so that all the comments are corralled in one place:
IDF jets target Houthi regime in strike on Hodeidah energy infrastructure
FAFO.
Al-Masirah published footage showing the aftermath of strikes on the refinery, which the IDF later confirmed the strike.

IDF fighter jets struck Houthi military targets in the area of the Hodeidah Port in Yemen, the IDF confirmed Saturday evening.

Israeli airstrikes reportedly targeted oil refining facilities in Yemen's Hodeidah, according to the Houthi-run Yemeni news outlet, Al-Masirah.

Local sources in Yemen told Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen that there are power outages in several areas in Hodeidah as a result of the Israeli strikes that hit an electricity production plant.

Israel's Defense Ministry reported that discussions on approving the operational plans to strike in Yemen took place on Saturday morning under the lead of Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, alongside IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and other senior defense officials.

The decision was reportedly approved during a cabinet meeting on Saturday.

According to Israeli journalist Barak Ravid, who quoted a senior American source, the incident was attributable to Israel, which reportedly conducted the operation alone.

The senior official reportedly said that the location of the strike was a military target used by the Houthis for gaining and storing weapons.

The report followed explosions that were reportedly heard in the coastal Yemeni city.

Hodeida is controlled by the Houthis.

#5  So, in your opinion, who'd be the first to condemn "Israeli war crime": UN, some Eurodrekies, or US Dep of State?
Posted by: Grom the Reflective || 07/20/2024 19:04 Comments || Top||

#6  1. It's not a refinery. There are no refining facilities there, it's all product storage.
2. There's also considerable grain storage in the same area. Have to see the "after" images to know what was hit and what wasn't. That probably won't happen.
3. All those trucks in the one photo are petroleum vehicles to carry refined products to their final destination. Crippling or destroying a large percentage of those would REALLY have put a crimp in someone's daily operations.
4. It's ABOUT DA#### TIME! Take the war to those that wage it, and make them pay a hundred times over.

Trump: Those holding US hostages will pay if they’re not freed by time I return to office
[IsraelTimes] Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump
...So far he's been unkillable, and they've tried....
warned that countries holding American hostages will pay "a very big price" if they are not released, as he accepted the GOP presidential nomination on Thursday at the Republican National Convention.

"To the entire world, I tell you this: We want our hostages back, and they better be back before I assume office, or you will be paying a very big price," Trump warned in his speech.

Trump did not specify which hostages he was referring to.

There are more than 60 Americans being held hostage or wrongly detained around the world, including eight Americans being held by Hamas

The parents of an American-Israeli hostage taken in the onslaught addressed the RNC on Wednesday evening.

The Thursday speech, Trump’s first since the attempt on his life last weekend at a rally in Pennsylvania, was among the longest convention speeches in modern history at just under 93 minutes.

Israeli soccer team to play in Olympics after FIFA delays decision on potential ban
[IsraelTimes] The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) said Thursday that it had postponed its decision on a Palestinian proposal to suspend Israel from international soccer over the country’s ongoing war against the Hamas terror group.

FIFA’s postponement cleared the way for the Israeli men’s national team to play at the Gay Paree Olympics.

Soccer’s world governing body had been set to make a decision Saturday at an extraordinary council meeting after asking for an independent legal assessment of the Paleostinian proposal two months ago.

That decision would have come just four days before the start of the Olympic soccer tournament, where Israel has been drawn in a group with Japan, Mali and Paraguay, and is set to play Mali on July 24.

FIFA said it pushed back the timeline because "more time is needed to conclude this process with due care and completeness" — meaning a decision is now set to come after the Olympics have finished.

FIFA said both parties have made requests for extensions "to submit their respective positions" and that the independent assessment will now be shared with FIFA by August 31 at the latest.

Suez Canal revenues drop as shippers stay away amid Houthi attacks
[IsraelTimes] Waterway is a crucial source of foreign currency for Cairo, but shipping firms have been taking alternative routes since Iran-backed rebels started attacks in solidarity with Hamas.
I would feel more sympathy if they hadn’t been shipping, or allowing the smuggling of, weapons to Hamas, et al in Gaza in support of the war against Israel.
The Suez Canal’s annual revenue dropped by almost a quarter in its latest financial year as some shippers switched to alternative routes to avoid attacks by the Iran-backed Iran's Houthi sock puppets
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him...
s in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Osama Rabie, the head of the Egyptian canal’s authority said on Thursday revenues fell to $7.2 billion in its 2023-24 financial year from $9.4 billion the year before.

Since November, the Houthis have been attacking commercial vessels in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean to show support for Hamas
..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
in the war with Israel started by the Paleostinian terror group’s October 7 onslaught.

The attacks have forced many major shipping firms to suspend passage through the Red Sea, which usually carries about 10 percent of global trade, and divert their vessels thousands of miles around Africa.

Rabie said the number of ships using the canal fell to 20,148 in 2023-24 from 25,911 the year before. The financial year in Egypt runs from the beginning of July to the end of June of the following year.

The Suez Canal is a key source of foreign currency for Egypt, and authorities have been trying to boost its revenues in recent years, including via an expansion in 2015.

Who could be Harris' VP if Biden drops out of presidential race?
[GEO.TV] US Vice President Kamala Harris is on the Democratic forefront to become the party’s presidential race nominee if President Joe Biden stepped down as the presidential candidate.

Harris has earned favour of the Democrats after Biden’s weak debate performance against former president Donald Trump in June.

This has resulted in the Democrats - publicly and privately - pressuring Biden to step down from the race and aiming their support for VP Harris who was named Biden’s running mate for his election campaign.

Polls conducted by The Economist also suggest that 79% of the Democrats would support Harris if she is to replace Biden for the upcoming election in November.

If Harris is elected as the party’s nominee in the wake of Biden stepping down, then it would leave another seat vacant and that is of the running mate.

Following are some candidates Harris can pick as her running mate if Biden steps down and she is nominated for the presidential election candidacy:
These are besides AOC, Elizabeth Warren, Hillary, and Sheila Jackson Lee.
ROY COOPER
Roy Cooper is the Governor of North Carolina and has known Harris since they were attorney general of North Carolina and California, respectively.

Cooper has also run on a ticket against Trump and won twice. In 2016, he won by opposing a bill that would have banned transgenders from using public restrooms as per their gender and in 2020, he was reelected on the basis of managing the state during the COVID-19 epidemic.

JOSH SHAPIRO
Governor of Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro is a popular political figure and strange as well as many Republicans support him. He has handled several crisis during his tenure including the train incident in East Palestine, Ohio which is at the borders of the state he governs; Pennsylvania.

The 1-95 bridge in the State of Pennsylvania collapsed in 2023, Shapiro handled that incident quickly and the bridge was reconstructed immediately.

He has also won against Trump when the former president sued Pennsylvania and challenged the 2020 election results of the state but Shapiro secured legal victory against Trump.

MARK KELLY
Democrat and Senator Mark Kelly is a rare anomaly with him being a former veteran and astronaut.

The senator debuted in politics when his wife and former congresswoman Gabby Giffords was shot in the head and had to retire in 2011 due to the injuries posed by the event. That urged Kelly to advocate to end gun violence in the country.

Back in 2020, Biden and Harris turned Arizona blue for the Democratic Party but Kelly won the election which put out Senator John McCain and then two years later, he beat pro-Trumpism Republican candidate Blake Masters.

Kelly is definitely an excellent pick for a running mate but he has a strong hold over Arizona and if the Democrats take him out of the state then they might lose the state.

TIM WALZ
Tim Walz, governor of Minnesota is also a veteran. He handled the uproar of the “Black Lives Matter” movement after George Floyd was killed by the police in Minneapolis.

During his tenure, he has strongly worked for abortion rights in the state. Walz has also worked to provide free school meals regardless of the incomes of the students’ parents.

Walz could also help in making important states like Michigan blue for the Democrats as he has been holding down the fort for the party during the Republican National Convention in Wisconsin.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
MSNBC has gone completely crackpot this summer
[NYPOST] They’re having a rough one over at MSNBC.

After keeping "Morning Joe" off the air Monday, following the liquidation attempt against Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
, their primetime talent has overcompensated by cranking up the crazy during coverage of the Republican National Convention.

Never mind that the network’s main anchors are delivering many of these wild takes from their Manhattan studio with an LED-screen backdrop which creates the illusion that they’re live from Milwaukee.

On a scale of 1 to 10 tinfoil hats, Alex Wagner, Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid have rated a strong 12.
Am I the only one who believes that Joy Behar and Joy Reid might not be the same person?
Altogether, this trio has dropped crackpot monologues about Trump’s shooting, compared beating COVID to surviving an assassin’s bullet and suggested JD Vance has Aryan leanings because he named his company after a "Lord of the Rings" reference. And my personal favorite: that Vance’s speech contained "Easter eggs of white nationalism."

Look, it’s the Republican National Convention, so I’d expect — even welcome — a healthy dose of pushback from the left-wing network.

Surely they’d find plenty of substantive disagreements with Trump and Vance. Maybe there’s something to nitpick from Vance’s past, considering the potential veep gifted the Dems plenty of opposition research in a best-selling little book called "Hillbilly Elegy."

Nope. Instead, MSNBC’s team deployed its go-to weapons: identity and white supremacy

...the pernicious doctrine that laws were intended to be obeyed, that society works better when people don't pour shreiking from their places of worship every Friday for a weekend of rioting over insults real or imagined; and that cannibalism, beastiality, incest, murder, theft, rape, and similar activities are bad. A Dead White European (which invalidates his opinion) philosopher once opined that societies thrive when a person's word can be relied upon, and that a society which puts individual happiness first will invariably fail. Strangely enough, other successful societies, such as China, Japan, Korea, and those kinds of places could also be lumped with white supremacist societies, since they push the same values...
.

During Vance’s acceptance speech at the RNC, he recalled proposing to his wife, Usha, a daughter of Indian immigrants colonists. "Honey, I come with $120,000 worth of law school debt, and a cemetery plot on a mountainside in eastern Kentucky," he said.

It was a sweet, very personal expression of love and the hope for a shared future.

Wagner, however, said it shows that Vance "fundamentally believes in the supremacy of whiteness and masculinity." And that the only history their family should inherit is "white male lineage," not their Indian side.

Perhaps it would have been more romantic — and acceptable to Wagner — if Vance had included an endorsement of equity and inclusion in asking for Usha’s hand in marriage.

Wagner was also dismayed by Vance’s optimistic assertion that "America is not just an idea, it is a group of people with a shared history and a common future."

She offered an alternative: "It’s a lot of people with different histories, different heritages."

Maddow didn’t even wait for Vance’s speech to verbally crawl into a Nazi rabbit hole on air. On Wednesday, she said that Vance naming his venture capital firm Narya, after a ring in "The Lord of the Rings," meant he harbored a love of the far right.

"He called it Narya, N-A-R-Y-A," she said. "Which you can remember because it’s ’Aryan,’ but you move the ’N’ to the front. Apparently that word has something to do with elves and rings from ’The Lord of the Rings’ series, I don’t know."

Yeah, we know you don’t.

Meanwhile,
...back at the Hubba Hubba Club, Big Shirley was still trying to snatch Nunzio bald-headed. She was already halfway there...
Reid seems to be growing increasingly untethered from reality. She attacked RNC speaker Amber Rose as "racially ambiguous" to delegitimize her message to minorities, and suggested that the Trump liquidation attempt was a set-up.

She also asserted, with a straight face, that Biden overcoming COVID was as badass as Trump getting shot at and showing up to the RNC a couple days later.

"This current president of the United States is 81 years old and has COVID, should he be fine in a couple of days, doesn’t that convey exactly the same thing? That he’s strong enough — older than Trump — to have gotten something that used to really be fatal to people his age," Reid said on air. "So, if he does fine out of it and comes back and is able to do rallies, isn’t that exactly the same?"

Sure, Joy. But this bizarre act shows that, as the Biden situation deteriorates and panic sets in, MSNBC is just throwing the proverbial spaghetti at the wall — to see what sticks.

Hey, conspiracy and an "Everything is white supremacy" ethos worked in 2020.

But these anchors are so out of touch with regular folks, they don’t realize that most people have simply moved on.

And some cockamamie commentary won’t pull anyone back in.

Sheila Jackson Lee dead at 74
[NYPOST] Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee
...the clownish U.S. Representative-for-life for Texas's 18th congressional district, serving since 1995. The district includes most of inner-city Houston. She is noted for her lack of tact and intellect. She is a member of the Democratic Party, and almost its epitome...
died at 74, her family announced on Friday, just two months after the longtime politician revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer.

The Democratic congresswoman, who served Texas’ 18th District since 1995, recently announced in June she was battling pancreatic cancer.

"A local, national, and international humanitarian, she was acknowledged worldwide for her courageous fights for racial justice, criminal justice, and human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
, with a special emphasis on women and kiddies," a statement from her family said.

Africa Horn
Sovereign Council says Burhan told Bin Zayed of alleged UAE support for RSF
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Sovereign Council of Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
announced on Friday that its leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan informed United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Mohammed bin Zayed of Abu Dhabi’s alleged support for the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

The paramilitary group has been engaged in a conflict with the Sudanese army for over a year.

The official Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Thursday evening that bin Zayed received a phone call from al-Burhan, during which they discussed the strong relations between their countries and the recent developments in Sudan.

However,
facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable...
a statement from the Sovereign Council on Friday clarified that during this call, the Emirati President expressed a desire to help end the ongoing war in Sudan.

According to the statement, al-Burhan told bin Zayed, "Abu Dhabi is accused by the Sudanese, with extensive evidence and testimonies proving the UAE’s support for the rebels and those who kill and destroy their country and displace them."

He urged the Emirati leader to cease these actions.

This phone call sparked widespread reactions and controversy on social media, marking the first direct communication between the two leaders after months of tension and media exchanges.

Sudan claims that the UAE has been financing the RSF and supplying them with weapons and military equipment via Chad and Central Africa, significantly impacting the military battles since April 15, 2023.

Relations between Sudan and the UAE have been strained due to these accusations, with Sudanese military leaders openly criticizing the Emirati leadership.

The tension escalated further when representatives from both countries exchanged heated words at a United Nations
...where theory meets practice and practice loses...
Security Council (UNSC) session last month, leading to the expulsion of diplomats from each other’s countries.

Africa Subsaharan
South Sudan rebel leader denies meeting RSF boss
[SUDANTRIBUNE] A South Sudanese rebel leader has denied reports that a meeting took place with the leader of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF), pledging his commitment to the Kenya-mediated peace talks.

Media reports, citing unidentified sources, claimed that The South Sudan People’s Movement/Army (SSPM/A) under the leadership of Chairman and Commander-in-Chief Gen. Stephen Buoy Rolnyang recently traveled to United Arab Emirates, and met with RSF leader Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo.

The group, in a statement, described as false claims that Gen. Buoy was paid USD 10 million for helping the RSF defeat and eject the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) from several of their bases in the ongoing war in Sudan.

"The assertion that the leader of the SSPM/A, in conjunction with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), convened in Abu Dhabi and subsequently traveled to Khartoum to strategize an offensive aimed at South Sudan’s oilfields is entirely false. Furthermore, Sixty 4 Tribes claimed that a sum of USD 10 million was transferred to the SSPM/A following their purported capture of significant territories in Sudan, namely Sennar, Blue Nile, and South Kordofan States," the statement reads.

"These allegations are baseless and lack any credibility. It is imperative to clarify that the SSPM/A has not engaged in any agreements, nor has it involved itself in the conflict within Sudan."

"Contrary to the reports, our leader did not engage with the RSF leadership or participate in any joint initiatives but departed Nairobi earlier this week for undisclosed security measures and the urgent medical care of a close relative facing severe health concerns."

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Israeli forces target UN school, two refugee camps in Gaza City UPDATE: 150 turbans toes up, 100 sites rubbled in past week
[GEO.TV] Israeli forces on Thursday targeted a UN school and two refugee camps killing at least 14 people, including 12 residents in the Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps of Gaza City and two Palestinians who were taking shelter in the school.

Israeli forces have bombed nine UN schools in the recent days in Gaza.

As per Al Jazeera, at least five people were killed in attack of Israeli military on a house in the Bureij refugee camp. Then another Israeli bombing massacred five other Palestinians in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Update from the Times of Israel at 10:30 a.m. ET:
IDF: Over 150 terrorists killed in Gaza City operation over past week

Over the past week, more than 150 terror operatives were killed during an operation in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
City, the IDF says.

The raid, launched earlier this month, is being led by the 99th Division, with the Alexandroni, 8th, and Commando brigades, and elite Multi-Domain Unit.

During the first week of the operation, troops had raided UNRWA’s headquarters, where Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
had regrouped.

In recent operations, the IDF says the troops raided several multi-story buildings in Gaza City where Hamas operatives were holed up.

The forces located weapons, equipment belonging to Hamas’s naval forces, and intelligence materials, the army says.

In addition to the estimated 150 button men, the IDF says troops demolished more than 100 sites belonging to terror groups and located an underground weapons manufacturing site.

UN special rapporteurs demand unseating Israel from UN
[GEO.TV] Special rapporteurs of the United Nations are demanding unseating of Israel as a member of the UN over its bombing UN structures and violation of human rights in Palestine.

After Balakrishnan Rajagopal, Francesca Albanese also demanded unseating Israel from the UN. She said, “Time to #UNseatIsrael from the UN.”

This she wrote reposing Rajagopal’s tweet, wherein he wrote, “Israel’s criminal attack on the UN continues without any consequences. High time to take action against Israel including through unseating from the UN, as was done with apartheid South Africa.”

This they said after Israel completely destroyed UNRWA headquarters in Gaza.

“The UN facilities are not a target and must be protected at all times. This is fundamental to international humanitarian law and to our ability to do our lifesaving work,” the UNRWA had said in a statement earlier.

Hamas demands 'immediate action' after ICJ ruling
[GEO.TV] Hamas called for "immediate" international action on Friday to end Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territories after the top UN court ruled it was illegal.

A statement from the militant group, which has been fighting Israel in Gaza since the October 7 attacks, welcomed the ruling from the International Court of Justice, saying it puts "the international system before the imperative of immediate action to end the occupation"

50 killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza
[GEO.TV] Israeli forces continued attacks across Gaza as the world responded to the landmark ICJ ruling declaring Tel Aviv’s occupation of the West Bank in violation of international law.

At least 24 people were killed in attacks in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, according to local authorities.

Other killings included three people in an Israeli raid on a house south of Khan Younis and another Palestinian killed north of Nuseirat. Attacks were also reported in Deir el-Balah.

India-Pakistan
TTP chief Noor Wali Mehsud's leaked call exposes vicious terror plots in Pakistan
[GEO.TV] The outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban
...Arabic for students...
Pakistain (TTP) is hell-bent on plunging the country into chaos, with plans to set off a security nightmare by bombing educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and the homes of military and coppers.

These disturbing terror plans were revealed after a phone call by Noor Wali Mehsud, the head of the banned TTP, giving instructions to his henchmen for attacks in Pakistain, came to surface, according to security sources.

This development cements Islamabad's stance that Afghan soil is being used to carry out terrorist attacks in Pakistain. Numerous TTP leaders, including Noor Wali, are reportedly holed up in regions of Afghanistan bordering Pakistain and are pulling the strings of local terror networks responsible for most of the attacks in Pakistain.

The other voices in the audio call have been identified as local commanders Ahmad Hussain Mehsud alias Ghat Haji, and Saqib Gandapur.

The call revolves around Noor’s directives on how to inflame the security situation in the country. In that conversation, he can be heard outlining two main methods for disrupting peace and order in Pakistain.

Suggesting that one method is to target government schools or hospitals with bombings, the TTP leader orders his men to carry out attacks on one or two schools or hospitals without claiming responsibility for them.

The TTP chief also hashes out a second method, which he says involves destroying the homes of coppers and soldiers.

In the call, Noor Wali instructs his lieutenants to keep the conversation confidential and ensure that no one else is aware of the plan and stresses that if questioned, he should not be linked to the operations and nothing should be traced back to TTP.

Ahmad Hussain, while affirming the TTP chief’s deadly plans, can be heard telling Gandapur to target the homes of high-ranking police, army, and FC officials with bombs and to either close down or blow up schools secretly — without taking credit for the attacks.

#1  Carnegie Endowment: "Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is the largest militant organization fighting against the state in Pakistan. [It} boasts several thousand fighters in Afghanistan, with strongholds on both sides of the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.
Although Pakistani military actions, U.S. drone warfare, and factional infighting led to the TTP’s decline from 2014 to 2018, the militant group has had a strong resurgence since the Afghan Taliban and U.S. government signed a peace deal in February 2020. In fact, since July 2020, ten militant groups opposed to the Pakistani state have merged with the TTP, including, among others, three Pakistani affiliates of al-Qaeda and four major factions that had separated from the TTP in 2014. Following these mergers, TTP violence has become more frequent, and this violent streak continues to accelerate as a result of the Afghan Taliban’s takeover in Kabul in August 2021."

Biden vows to fight on amid mounting calls to drop re-election bid
[GEO.TV] In a major development, President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass....
vowed on Friday to continue his campaign for reelection even as more fellow Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
in Congress urged him to end his floundering campaign, fearing that it could cost the party dearly in the November 5 election.

More than one in 10 congressional Democrats have now publicly called on the 81-year-old incumbent - who is isolating at his Delaware home with a case of COVID - to drop out following a disastrous June debate against Republican Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and whatever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
that raised questions about Biden's ability to win or to carry out his duties for another four years.

Biden remained defiant, saying he would resume campaigning soon.

"I look forward to getting back on the campaign trail next week to continue exposing the threat of Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda while making the case for my own record and the vision that I have for America," he said in a statement, referring to a policy plan developed by Trump's conservative allies.

The divide among Democrats stood in sharp contrast to the scenes that played out this week at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where former party rivals united around Trump, who accepted the Republican nomination in a rambling speech that featured his familiar mix of grievance and bombast.

So far, 32 of the 264 Democrats in Congress have openly called for Biden to end his campaign, while other senior Democratic leaders have pushed him behind the scenes to do so, according to sources and media reports.

Democrats are increasingly worried about a Republican sweep in the Nov. 5 election that could leave Trump and his allies not only in charge of the White House but also with majorities in both chambers of Congress.

-Great Cultural Revolution
The Ascendance Of Sociopaths In US Governance
[ZeroHedge] In this article, I’m going to argue that the U.S. government, in particular, has been overrun by the wrong kind of person.

It’s a trend that’s been in motion for many years but has now reached a point of no return. In other words, a type of moral rot has become so prevalent that it’s institutional in nature. There is not going to be, therefore, any serious change in the direction in which the U.S. is headed until a genuine crisis topples the existing order. Until then, the trend will accelerate.

The reason is that a certain class of people – sociopaths – are now fully in control of major American institutions.

Their beliefs and attitudes are insinuated throughout the economic, political, intellectual, and psychological/spiritual fabric of the U.S.

What does this mean to you, as an individual? It depends on your character.

Are you the kind of person who supports “my country, right or wrong,” as did most Germans in the 1930s and 1940s? Or the kind who dodges the duty to be a helpmate to murderers? The type of passenger who goes down with the ship? Or the type who puts on his vest and looks for a lifeboat? The type of individual who supports the merchants who offer the fairest deal? Or the type who is gulled by splashy TV commercials?

What the ascendancy of sociopaths means isn’t an academic question. Throughout history, the question has been a matter of life and death. That’s one reason America grew; every American (or any ex-colonial) has forebears who confronted the issue and decided to uproot themselves to go somewhere with better prospects. The losers were those who delayed thinking about the question until the last minute.

I have often described myself, and those I prefer to associate with, as gamma rats. You may recall the ethologist’s characterization of the social interaction of rats as being between a few alpha rats and many beta rats, the alpha rats being dominant and the beta rats submissive. In addition, a small percentage are gamma rats that stake out prime territory and mates, like the alphas, but are not interested in dominating the betas. The people most inclined to leave for the wide world outside and seek fortune elsewhere are typically gamma personalities.

You may be thinking that what happened in places like Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, Mao’s China, Pol Pot’s Cambodia, and scores of other countries in recent history could not, for some reason, happen in the U.S. Actually, there’s no reason it won’t at this point. All the institutions that made America exceptional – including a belief in capitalism, individualism, self-reliance, and the restraints of the Constitution – are now only historical artifacts.

On the other hand, the distribution of sociopaths is completely uniform across both space and time.

Per capita, there were no more evil people in Stalin’s Russia, Hitler’s Germany, Mao’s China, Amin’s Uganda, Ceausescu’s Romania, or Pol Pot’s Cambodia than there are today in the U.S. All you need is favorable conditions for them to bloom, much as mushrooms do after a rainstorm.

Conditions for them in the U.S. are becoming quite favorable. Have you ever wondered where the 50,000 people employed by the TSA to inspect and degrade you came from? Most of them are middle-aged. Did they have jobs before they started doing something that any normal person would consider demeaning? Most did, but they were attracted to – not repelled by – a job where they wear a costume and abuse their fellow citizens all day.

Few of them can imagine that they’re shepherding in a police state as they play their roles in security theater. (A reinforced door on the pilots’ cabin is probably all that’s actually needed, although the most effective solution would be to hold each airline responsible for its own security and for the harm done if it fails to protect passengers and third parties.) But the 50,000 newly employed are exactly the same type of people who joined the Gestapo – eager to help in the project of controlling everyone. Nobody was drafted into the Gestapo.

What’s going on here is an instance of Pareto’s Law. That’s the 80-20 rule that tells us, for example, that 80% of your sales come from 20% of your salesmen or that 20% of the population are responsible for 80% of the crime.

As I see it, 80% of people are basically decent; their basic instincts are to live by the Boy Scout virtues. 20% of people, however, are what you might call potential trouble sources, inclined toward doing the wrong thing when the opportunity presents itself. They might now be shoe clerks, mailmen, or waitresses – they seem perfectly benign in normal times. They play baseball on weekends and pet the family dog. However, given the chance, they will sign up for the Gestapo, the Stasi, the KGB, the TSA, Homeland Security, or whatever. Many seem well intentioned, but are likely to favor force as the solution to any problem.

But it doesn’t end there, because 20% of that 20% are really bad actors. They are drawn to government and other positions where they can work their will on other people and, because they’re enthusiastic about government, they rise to leadership positions. They remake the culture of the organizations they run in their own image. Gradually, non-sociopaths can no longer stand being there. They leave. Soon the whole barrel is full of bad apples. That’s what’s happening today in the U.S.

It’s a pity that Bush, when he was in office, made such a big deal of evil. He discredited the concept. He made Boobus americanus think it only existed in a distant axis, in places like North Korea, Iraq and Iran, which were and still are irrelevant backwaters and arbitrarily chosen enemies. Bush trivialized the concept of evil and made it seem banal because he was such a fool. All the while, real evil, very immediate and powerful, was growing right around him, and he lacked the awareness to see he was fertilizing it by turning the U.S. into a national security state after 9/11.

Now, I believe, it’s out of control.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
14-Year-Old Chicagoan Charged with Felonies After Crime Spree
A 14-year-old reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel...
boy is accused of taking part in a crime spree while hanging out with a group that targeted several people.

Law enforcement said the boy was among those who carjacked and robbed four people on West Irving Park just before 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, CWB Chicago reported Thursday.

"As CWBChicago reported that morning, a carjacker driving a white car pulled in front of the victim’s Mazda CX3 to block their path, and two button men got out, took the victims’ valuables, and then drove away with the Mazda," the article noted, adding that the victims were three men and one woman who were in their early 20s.

The young suspect and the group allegedly carjacked and robbed two people an hour later on West Belmont.

"Two men with guns robbed the couple, a 31-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man, and drove away with their blue BMW X3. A third robber remained in the previously hijacked Mazda, according to initial information," the CWB Chicago article said.

The boy is also accused of having a role in trying to carjack a woman in her 50s in June. He is also accused of stealing a car in early July.

In June, a husband and wife enjoying a date in Chicago’s Streeterville area were allegedly attacked by two teenagers. The couple was reportedly kicked, stomped on, and punched, according to Breitbart News. Police later arrested a 14-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl regarding the case.

In February, "A group of Chicago teens were caught on surveillance cameras breaking into a luxury Wisconsin vehicle dealership and speeding away with over half a million dollars’ worth of cars, leading police on a 40-mile chase," the outlet reported.

DOJ Accuses Gov't Shelter Contractor of Sexual Abuse of Hundreds of Migrant Kids
[Breitbart] The Justice Department is alleging that employees of one of the federal government’s largest shelter operators have engaged in hundreds of cases of sexual abuse of unaccompanied migrant children housed in their care.

On Thursday, the DOJ announced an investigation into employees of Southwest Key Programs Inc., including supervisors, who have been accused of sexually molesting, raping, and exploiting migrant children beginning in 2015. At least two employees have already been indicted on criminal charges relating to a case from 2020, the Associated Press reported.

Southwest Key Programs Inc. is one of several companies that contract with the federal government to house migrant children and the organization operates 29 shelters in Texas, Arizona, and California. It reportedly has a capacity of more than 1,000 children. The shelters house the children for the time between their arrival illegally into the U.S., and the time the feds farm the children out to other people or agencies. The non-profit has been awarded more than $3 billion in Health and Human Services federal contracts between 2015 and 2023.

According to the DOJ, employees of these shelters were exploiting kids and threatening them if they talked about their abuse.

“In some cases, Southwest Key employees threatened children to maintain their silence,” the DOJ lawsuit states. “In harassing these children, these Southwest Key employees exploited the children’s vulnerabilities, language barriers, and distance from family and loved ones.”

The DOJ has pinpointed more than 100 cases of sexual abuse, but they assume there are even more. The lawsuit alleges that children as young as eight years old — both boys and girls — have been victimized. In one case, an employee allegedly abused three young girls and in another an employee took an 11-year-old boy to a hotel and forced him to perform sexual acts for several days.

Officials say the children were threatened with physical violence and also were told their families back home would be harmed if they did not comply with demands for sex and then stay silent about the abuse.

Biden’s regime has been repeatedly accused of aiding human trafficking for the sex trade.

In March, Polk County, Florida, Sheriff Grady Judd held a press conference and pointed out that Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security facilitates sex trafficking by allowing illegal migrants to travel by air for free with vouchers and ID cards that force airlines to fly them without charge and on demand.

Sheriff Judd revealed that an investigation by his department found that Venezuelan women who are based out of New York City have told police that they are prostituted by fellow illegals and that they fly for free to most of America’s big cities to ply the sex trade. The exploited women also say they are indebted for thousands of dollars to the coyotes who have brought them to the U.S.A. So, they are essentially indentured sex slaves.

Judd also announced in March that they had arrested 21 suspected illegals among the 228 people arrested for sex trafficking.

US Senator Tim Kaine calls for US recognition of Palestine, following Knesset vote
[JPost] US Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA)
Who? Oh, right — he was Hillary Clinton’s running mate for the 2016 campaign. He wasn’t as helpful to the ticket as she’s hoped…
called for the US to recognize Palestine on Friday due to the Knesset vote on Wednesday to reject the establishment of a Palestinian state west of the Jordan River.

In a statement posted to his webpage, Senator Kaine said that due to the Knesset's decision to deny the establishment of a Palestinian state, " the US should no longer condition recognition on Israeli assent, but instead upon Palestinian willingness to peacefully coexist with its neighbors."

The statement was followed by several attempts to highlight Senator Kaine's support for Israel’s right to defend itself as well as his support for humanitarian aid.

Science & Technology
TAURUSTX 22 RDS T.O.R.O.
The damn thing just runs. It cycles reliably with anything I feed it, including subsonic rounds and high-velocities. I don’t have a clue how Taurus’ engineers figured it out, and so I have an email into them at the time of this writing that asks them as much. But what I can tell you right now is that not only does the handgun have 99% reliability through 500 rounds and counting, but it’s as accurate as any .22 pistol I own, including several target-model Rugers. I can hit my 75-yard, 6-inch steel target every shot from a standing, unrested position. At 25 yards rested, I’m getting .80 inch groups. No doubt its accuracy is enhanced by the gun’s Performance Trigger System that slides backwards slightly before coming to its second stage and then breaking over cleanly at 4.75 lbs, which is excellent for any handgun, much for a polymer-framed .22. The reset is as good (short, fast, and crisp) as any I’ve ever felt on any striker-fired gun, period.

The other cool thing about this pistol that makes me like it more than the M&P (and certainly the cheapy-feeling plastic-slide Glock 44) is that it comes with both a 16-round and a 22-round extended magazine. That means less time loading and more time shooting, and trust me when I say it’s easy to burn through some rounds with this thing. The TX 22 has numerous other features such as a light/accessory rail and a manual safety if you’re into such contraptions, but what I like most is its overall feel, from its grip angle and contour, to its balance and the familiarity of its controls. It’s like shooting a competition-grade centerfire, only it’s a .22 that I can shoot for pennies on the dollar. Right now I’m seeing the gun itself going for $300, making it one of the best gun bargains going.

Home Front: Politix
A Republic If You Can Keep It
[FE] In the current run-up to the 2024 presidential election, data shows that more than 10 million hunters and gun owners—just shy of 3% of the total US population—are not registered to vote.

That’s a lot of non-voting bastards. Maybe they should go live in their own state? We can call it "North Korea."

For context and scale, the entire population of the state of Georgia is approximately 10.6 million people. In the 2020 Presidential election, Georgia was decided by 11,779 votes, none of which came from Georgia’s 350,897 hunters and gun owners who are not registered to vote.

Hunter and gun owner votes mattered big-time in Georgia but, instead of voting, these people left America high and dry. When asked why they’re not registered to vote, the theme was clear: defeated, apathetic conservative voters across the U.S. believe that elections are rigged, that their votes don’t count, and that voting doesn’t make a difference.

Stephen Aaron is an advisor to Vote4America.org, the non-profit voter advocacy group reporting the 10 million unregistered hunters and gun owners stat. According to Aaron, "Data shows several reasons for voter apathy, especially among gun owners and hunters. The biggest being, voters are not connecting their personal anxieties to decisions made by elected officials."

If Ben Franklin were alive, he’d be disappointed, but probably not surprised.

The first votes of the new American democracy were not on parchment or paper. They were lead musket balls, fired from the rifles of pissed-off, over-taxed, and under-represented colonists at the battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775.

Over the next six bloody years, hundreds of thousands of votes were cast against the tyrannical rule of British monarchy by the Continental Army. Not all of these votes counted. Many ended up lodged in trees and buildings while others ricocheted into oblivion. Some votes were only cured after the plunge of a bayonet.

Nonetheless, in 1781, the final votes were cast at the Battle of Yorktown and enough had cured to settle the score with the English. British General Cornwallis fled, accepting defeat at the hands of an "inferior" fighting force, and the fledgling American republic began to spread its wings.

"A republic, if you can keep it."

—Benjamin Franklin’s response to Elizabeth Willing Powel’s question: "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?"

With the wetwork of kicking out the lobster-backs complete (sorry Craighead, we love you brother), it took eight more years to operationalize the playbook by which Americans could keep their republic: the U.S. Constitution.

Today, Americans love to talk about our favorite constitutional rights like speaking freely, bearing arms, and remaining silent. But we rarely talk about the one duty required to keep our republic, and preserve these rights:

Hawley: Briefing with Secret Service Director 'Did Not Go Well' ‐ 'She Was Not Well-Prepared'
[Breitbart] During an appearance on FNC’s “Your World,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) called on Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle to publicly appear before the Senate Homeland Security Committee in the wake of the attempted assassination of former President Joe Biden.

The Missouri Republican called out Cheatle, who he said was “not well-prepared” to answer questions during a “behind-the-scenes” briefing.

Partial transcript as follows:

CAVUTO: How did it go?

HAWLEY: Badly.

I mean, let’s be honest, the Secret Service is out there and the FBI now doing these secret calls, these behind-the-scenes briefings, where, by the way, they don’t really answer questions. They limited — strictly limited the number of questions. The Secret Service director herself did not actually brief. She was present on the call, but didn’t do hardly any briefing.

When she did try to answer a question or two, it did not go well. She was not well-prepared. This needs to be done in public, bottom line. We need public hearings. We need a full and thorough investigation.

Neil, what we know about this is that there were 62 minutes, 62, between the time that the Secret Service identified the shooter as a person of interest, somebody acting suspiciously, and the time he started firing shots at the president.

I mean, what in the world is going on? We have got to find out.

CAVUTO: I misspoke. Of course, that briefing was yesterday. There are going to be many more to come. You want to hold the authorities accountable and find out what was behind their thinking.

But, to your point, Senator, she has indicated she’s not stepping down. She intends to stay there. And unless the president and/or Alejandro Mayorkas, her boss at Homeland Security, pushes her out, she’s there, right?

HAWLEY: Yes.

Nobody — here’s the pattern, Neil. Nobody in this administration is ever responsible, ever takes any responsibility for anything. Look at Afghanistan, 13 service members dead, hundreds, if not thousands of civilians left behind to the enemy. And what did Joe Biden do? Nothing. Who was fired? Nobody.

Now we have got a former president nearly assassinated. We have a good American shot to death at this rally, others in critical condition, and no one will take any responsibility. I mean, these people ought to be gone. Absolutely, the director ought to be gone. The whole top echelon ought to be gone.

But I tell you what. We’re going to get to the bottom of this and figure out what these people were doing. How did they allow this to happen? Why did they allow a good American to be killed? Why did they allow Trump to go on stage knowing they had a potential shooter? It’s outrageous.

is targeted political violence that has been instigated by hostile public rhetoric directed at a group or individual. Unlike incitement to terrorism, this is accomplished by using indirect, vague, or coded language that allows the instigator to plausibly disclaim responsibility for the resulting violence.[1] A key element is the use of social media and other distributed forms of communications where the person who carries out the violence has no direct connection to the users of violent rhetoric.

Politically correct quotas undermined Donald Trump's security before his shooting, claims The Day of the Jackal author Frederick Forsyth
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] He was fluent in French and German by the time he was 15, mastered Spanish and rudimentary Russian soon thereafter, and flew a jet fighter when still only 18, before becoming Reuters correspondent in Paris and, later, in Berlin.

He also fitted in occasional missions for 'The Firm' – the British Secret Service – and plotted a groundbreaking blockbuster, after undertaking rigorous research.

But, in the aftermath of Donald Trump's miraculous escape from death, The Day of the Jackal author Frederick Forsyth, tells me that he despairs of security agencies the world over – in particular, their failure to learn, or remember, a fundamental truth.

'The sniper is still a formidable enemy,' he points out. 'I've lost count of murdered politicians since I tapped 'the day of the Jackal was over' onto the last page.

'What Trump's escape shows is the uselessness of close-body protectors against the rifle, when you've failed to secure the area,' adds Forsyth, 85, who is, understandably, struck by an extraordinary similarity in Trump's survival and that of the French president in his novel from 54 years ago – a very slight movement of the head.

Round-up: Trump shooter used a DRONE to scope out rally grounds just HOURS before ex-president's speech
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] It has been revealed that the gunman who attempted to assassinate Trump at a Pennsylvania rally last week flew a drone over the site just hours before the shooting.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was able to navigate the drone over the western Pennsylvania fairgrounds and obtain aerial footage on July 13 - the same day as Trump's Butler rally.

Crooks allegedly flew the drone on a programmed flight path earlier in the day, and officials say that the predetermined path suggests Crooks had flown the small aircraft more than once in order to scope out the site of the rally.

The shocking revelation was made on Friday - almost a week after the ill-fated campaign event - by law-enforcement officials, according to the Wall Street Journal.

It was yet another example of how the Secret Service failed to do an adequate job of securing the area, leaving the MAGA crowd and the former president exposed to the subsequent dangerous situation.

It has been revealed that the gunman who attempted to assassinate Trump at a Pennsylvania rally last week flew drones over the site just hours before the shooting
It has been revealed that the gunman who attempted to assassinate Trump at a Pennsylvania rally last week flew drones over the site just hours before the shooting
Trump sustained a wound on his ear from a gunshot graze and one spectator was killed when at least six rounds of ammunition were fired by the assassin.

Crooks was killed following the shooting after a Secret Service sniper team returned fire.
More from the Daily Mail:
Would-be Donald Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks looked up pornography not long before he shot at the former president. The search was the last one Crooks, 20, made on his phone before wounding Trump as he spoke at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last Saturday. Other queries included Princess Kate as well as her fellow British royals, both Trump and President Joe Biden, and school shooter Ethan Crumbley.

FBI investigators discovered the search history after finally cracking his encrypted Samsung Android phone days after the assassination attempt.

The senior law enforcement source who told the Daily Beast about the porn search said it was 'not unusual' among high-profile killers. Sandy Hook elementary school mass shooter Adam Lanza had child abuse images on his phone and Al Qaeda terrorists also watched extreme porn.

Agents couldn't initially break into Crooks' phone and sent it to the Operational Technology Division at FBI headquarters in Quantico, Virginia.

The only other recent activity on his phone was texts from his parents asking where he was after he didn't come home from the gun range when they expected.

Investigators have moved on to his laptop and external hard drives found during a search of his parents' home, where he lived.

As the FBI searched his two cell phones and one laptop, they found he had searched for dates of Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he ultimately made his assassination attempt. There were also searches for the dates of the Democratic National Convention, investigators told a private briefing with lawmakers. They also found photos of Biden and Trump in Crooks’ material.

FBI officials in the briefing said that that Crooks' search history indicated he had a strong interest in famous people, sources on the call confirmed to DailyMail.com.
An earlier Daily Mail article:
Alongside the explosives in Crooks' car, investigators also recovered a bullet proof vest and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, which had been purchased, alongside a ladder, on the same day as the shooting.

Another bulletproof vest, and third remote-controlled bomb was later discovered at the house he shared with his parents.

The latest revelation that a transmitter was also with him has raised fears that Crooks may have been planning to continue his killing spree if he had escaped from the roof with his life, and may have had an accomplice to help him.

Hours earlier Crooks had asked his boss for the day off, telling him he had 'something to do', before travelling to Saturday's rally. The would-be assassin told colleagues at the Bethel Park Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center that he would see them on Sunday. Crooks worked there as a dietary aide providing food and care for post-hospital elderly and sick people.

'We are shocked and saddened to learn of his involvement as Thomas Matthew Crooks performed his job without concern and his background check was clean,' administrator Marcie Grimm said in a statement.

A colleague at the facility said Crooks never expressed political views at work and wasn't a 'radical'.

'It's hard seeing everything that's going on online because he was a really, really good person that did a really bad thing, and I just wish I knew why,' he added.

He graduated from the Community College of Allegheny County in May with an associate degree in engineering science, according to school officials who said they were 'shocked and saddened by the horrific turn of events'.

Crooks' father Matthew was seen on Tuesday morning for the first time since the shooting as he opened the door of the family home to FBI agents. Both of Crooks' parents are behavioral therapists and Crooks' father said he was baffled by his son's actions.
And the Daily Mail report that he sure looked mentally ill with something:
Grinning out from beneath a military helmet, dressed in combat gear and a bullet proof vest this never-before-seen photograph shows Thomas Matthew Crooks aged nine.

Today, through a trove of pictures and the accounts of family friends, Dailymail.com can give the first real glimpse into the childhood of the boy who would grow up to try to kill a president. He went from the 'normal little boy' who liked to play soldiers and miniature golf, to the increasingly disturbed young man who grew his hair long, isolated himself from friends and became plagued by mental health disturbances that led some to believe he was either bi-polar or schizophrenic.
There it is. Nuts, not Antifa. So a Lurid Crime on Page 3: Non-WoT, not Fifth Column on Page 1.
It was a journey that ended catastrophically at Trump's campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday when Crooks, 20, took aim at the former president hitting him in the ear, killing one member of the crowd and seriously injuring two others.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, one person who knows the family well said, 'He was a cute kid, maybe a little bit off, maybe a little bit of a loner.

'But in the past couple of years he started suffering what we all suspected was mental health issues.'

The friend, who has known the family throughout Crooks's childhood, continued, 'We never knew for sure if he had been diagnosed or if he was being medicated but he started growing his hair long, he withdrew.

'There was nothing super alarming but looking back of course you question what was missed? His father was a psychologist.

'I'm not blaming the parents but did he suppress something? Was there some denial there? Was there anything hidden?'

Crooks, known as Tom to his family, grew up in the Bethel Park suburb where his family still live with his parents and older sister, Katherine, 22.

He attended Abraham Lincoln Elementary School from 2009 to 2014, before moving on to Neil Armstrong Middle School 2015 to 2016, then Independence Middle School 2017 to 2018, and ultimately Bethel Park High School from which he graduated in 2022. Seen in pictures across the years it is impossible to look at the face of the little boy who poses in yearbook picture after yearbook picture in his polo shirt and glasses without straining to see some foreshadowing of the change that, friends say, overtook him in the end.

In one, under the banner of 'Follow your Dreams' he is dressed in combat gear, the innocent costume of so many little boys now cast in a more sinister light by the act he would ultimately commit. But as a child, he was, friends say, if not exactly outgoing then certainly apparently 'normal.'

One said, 'He was definitely very intelligent that's something that was always clear. He was in the math club; I think that was the only club he was part of other than the gun club later, and he won quite a big scholarship for math.'

In pictures taken in elementary school he moves from the middle to the edges of the frame. In early photographs he is surrounded by friends, on costume days or mini-golf outings. Later he is at the edge, peaking round a bandstand pillar or kneeling at the end of a line with a basketball and his peers.

Contrary to what one 'friend' has publicly claimed in recent days those who spoke with DailyMail.com insist he did not dress in hunting or camouflage gear but instead was always smartly turned out in a polo shirt and pants or shorts.

A source said, 'He was always smartly dressed. He came from a good family — his mother is a very nice woman, and his father is actually very accomplished. I believe at one point he was earning between $300,000 and $500,000 a year.'

Today the modest family home, a small brick bungalow in a quiet suburban neighborhood sits under the watchful eyes of law enforcement and the world media. It gives little indication of its owners having any significant wealth.

On Monday FBI agents visited the home, speaking with Crooks's parents Matthew, 53, and Mary, 53, — both Pennsylvanian locals and both licensed counsellors — for several minutes before fanning out and moving door to door across the neighborhood.

It was here that Crooks grew up, and joined Clairton Sportsmen's Club where he honed his rifle skills. Speaking Monday, one friend pointed out: 'That club is also very much a social club as well as a shooting range.' But the friend admitted that one thing Crooks was not, was terribly social especially in later years.

They said: 'I suspect the FBI have interrogated his parents very thoroughly to find out what if anything they knew about his state of mind.

'We're just struggling to understand what happened, it's so shocking. This is a community and for this to have happened within it...it's almost too much to process right now. It's going to take a long time.'

Certainly, they said, something shifted in Crooks in recent years. He appears with a smile in every school yearbook until 2020, his sophomore year and the start of the global pandemic. After that he is absent, failing to show up for his yearbook photograph and a ghost in every group shot. According to the friend, 'Honestly we knew him less and less the older he got.'

But it seems he was nothing if not calculated and methodical. On Friday he went to Clairton Sportsmen's Club shooting range and practiced firing.
That’s unfortunately common in paranoid schizophrenics bent on murder, as I understand it.
The next morning, he went to a Home Depot and purchased a five-foot ladder — pictures obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com show the concealed spot where he propped this ladder against the AGR building wall allowing him access to the roof across which he scrambled to take up position.

From the Home Depot he went to a gun store, which sources have identified to DailyMail.com as Allegheny Arms & Gun Works, a five-minute drive from his family home, where he purchased 50 rounds of ammunition.
The Daily Mail also reported that he had accounts on Steam and several encrypted platforms.
Donald Trump's would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks wrote an ominous warning on a gaming platform before he shot the former president.

DailyMail.com confirmed U.S. Senators were told the 20-year-old gunman posted on Steam: 'July 13 will be my premiere, watch as it unfolds.'

On July 13 he opened fire on the Republican nominee from a roof just 130 yards away from the rally stage in Butler, Pennsylvania.

#1  The shocking revelation was made on Friday... by law-enforcement officials

In the multiple instances of this story, no one seems to have any source other than "law-enforcement officials". Seems a bit vague, eh? And nothing about the drone or where it was found?
Is "just hours before the speech" the time-frame when the security people were doing their final prep and walk-throughs?

But uses respectful Former-President Clinton & Former-President Obama?

Either way, Media PSYOP's aside.

Panama president dismisses this key issue as a 'United States problem'
[FoxNews] The president of Panama says the ongoing migrant crisis in the Western Hemisphere is a "United States problem," adding deportation flights that are partly funded by the U.S. are only voluntary.

"This is a United States problem that we are managing," newly-elected President Jose Raul Mulino said Thursday. "People don’t want to live here in Panama. They want to go to the United States."

Panama is a key crossing area for migrants moving north as many move through the Darien Gap, a massive jungle crossing Panama and Colombia that serves as a pathway through Central America and toward the U.S.

Sniper killed would-be Trump assassin with 'one-in-a-million shot': source
[FoxNews] The shot that killed the man who attempted to assassinate former President Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last Saturday was a "one-in-a-million shot," according to a source familiar with the investigation into the shooting.

Fox News learned from the source the kill shot was a single shot taken by a Secret Service counter sniper whose view was obscured.

A local tactical team also took a shot at the would-be assassin, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, but missed.

The Secret Service sniper who killed Crooks could only see Crooks’ gun scope and the top of his eye and forehead because the lip of the roof was blocking the sniper’s view.

Russian submarines alarm the West with their appearance
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Russian submarines, including diesel-electric submarines, pose a threat to the West, the American magazine National Interest wrote in an article on July 16.

"Russian attack submarines, including the Kilo class, recently conducted missions in the Irish Sea despite legal and navigational challenges. The actions followed exercises in the Baltic Sea that demonstrated the submarines' torpedo attacks and combat maneuvers," the publication's columnist Maya Carlin noted.

The journalist emphasized that modernized Russian submarines pose a serious danger.

Russian Kilo-class submarines (as all Varshavyanka and Paltus class submarines are called in the West) can cause damage to underwater infrastructure.

Russia's underwater power cannot be underestimated, the author concluded.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, the Russian multipurpose nuclear submarine Arkhangelsk poses a major threat to NATO, journalists from the British newspaper Express stated. The submarine, armed with hypersonic missiles, will be based 60 km from the border with Norway. The submarine is equipped with nuclear missiles flying at a speed of 6,670 miles per hour (10,700 km/h). Construction of the vessel began in 2015 at the Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk. In 2023, Arkhangelsk was launched.

On June 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the submarine Kazan and the frigate Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov had practiced using high-precision missile weapons in the Atlantic. During the military exercises, strikes were carried out at targets at a distance of more than 600 km. The following day, June 12, a detachment of Russian Navy ships arrived in Cuba as part of international cooperation.

Media finds out that bloody footage at a hospital in Kyiv was staged
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The footage of a medic from the Kiev hospital "Okhmatdet" in bloody clothes, circulated in Western media, turned out to be staged, reported "Ukraine.Ru".

Users immediately noticed the strange color of the blood, the publication said. Later, a video was published online showing a man in a police uniform pouring red liquid on a man in a white coat, the authors noted.

The same man later appeared in footage published by many Western media outlets, the article also says.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, shortly before the NATO summit, which took place from July 9 to 11, the Kiev regime accused Russia of allegedly striking the Okhmatdet children's hospital.

On July 8, the Russian Defense Ministry denied the accusations of striking civilian facilities in Kiev, including the damaged hospital. The ministry emphasized that photographs and video recordings from the destruction sites indicate that a missile launched from a Ukrainian anti-aircraft system within the city fell there. The ministry called the Kiev side's claims a provocation.

The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, noted that this is not the first time that Ukraine has organized PR operations based on bloodshed and used tragic events to create a backdrop that could accompany the participation of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, in the NATO summit.

On July 9, Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that the incident with the hospital in Kiev could have been avoided if the Ukrainian Armed Forces had not deployed their air defense systems in residential areas. He recalled that Russia does not strike civilian targets in Ukraine.

The people in power in Ukraine are showmen who try to turn any tragedy to their advantage, turning it into a show. The trouble is that the people of one of the largest countries in Eastern Europe are hostages of these over-the-top showmen, noted Ilya Ropshin, a columnist for Regnum News Agency, in his article earlier.

Microsoft says root cause of global outage fixed
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
Follow up to this and this about the Crowdstrike problem from yesterday. See also here.
[Regnum] Microsoft announced on the X social network that it had fixed the root cause of the problems that led to global operating system failures.

It is noted that residual impact of the issue continues to affect some Microsoft 365 applications and services.

"We are taking additional troubleshooting steps," the American company added.

On July 19, many countries around the world experienced problems with Windows devices, with users complaining of the "blue screen of death" appearing on Windows 10 devices. The problem affected many companies and government agencies in Australia, the United States, Turkey, Ireland, India, the United Kingdom, Japan, and other countries.

In particular, the work of airports around the world was disrupted. In particular, the American company Frontier Airlines noted that problems arose with booking and registration, as well as access to boarding passes. The failure also affected the work of other airlines.

This problem did not affect Russia. Thus, according to the official representative of Rosaviatsia Artem Korenyako, the global technical failure of Windows did not affect the work of airlines and airports, they are operating in normal mode. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on July 19 said that failures in the Windows operating system (OS) did not affect the work of the Kremlin.

Experts have established that the failure was caused by the installed Crowdstrike protection systems. There, in turn, confirmed the existence of a connection between its software and mass failures in Windows. The problems arose with devices on which the latest Falcon Sensor update was installed. Experts are trying to "roll back the application to an earlier version," the company added.

Information security expert Izbaenkov: Windows failure may be due to human factor

[Regnum] The actions of insider hackers could have been the cause of the global failure in the operation of devices with the Windows system. This opinion was expressed to a correspondent of IA Regnum on July 19 by Artem Izbaenkov, Deputy Director for Product Development of the Solar Group.

Many countries around the world, including Australia, the United States, Turkey, Ireland, India, the United Kingdom, Japan and others, are experiencing a failure in the operation of devices running the Windows system. Users have complained about the appearance of the "blue screen of death" on devices running Windows 10.

Izbaenkov stressed that this incident requires a thorough investigation. It is currently impossible to determine the exact causes of what happened.

According to CrowdStrike, possible causes of the failure could be errors during software updates. Such errors can occur due to human error or problems during the update testing process. As practice shows, untested or insufficiently tested updates can lead to catastrophic consequences, the expert specified.

He did not rule out that the cause of the failure could be a cyber threat in the form of insider hackers. They could have introduced an employee into the company who would have planted malicious code in the source files of the system. The expert noted that similar cases have already been recorded in Russia in large IT companies that were able to identify such employees. This method is especially dangerous, since it is difficult to detect an internal threat until the malicious code is activated, Izbaenkov added.

According to him, the failure could also be caused by complex cyber attacks on service providers. Currently, the dependence on cloud services and platforms such as Microsoft Azure is very high. Complex attacks on such services can cause a chain reaction of failures. This could be either a deliberate attack on the infrastructure or the exploitation of vulnerabilities in the software of partners and suppliers.

"Overall, the incident serves as a serious reminder of the importance of cybersecurity and the need for coordinated efforts to protect both internal and external systems. It is necessary to conduct a detailed investigation of each theory and take measures to strengthen defenses and prevent similar incidents in the future," the expert noted.

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of the Digital Economy Development Fund, German Klimenko, noted that a global failure in the operation of devices with the Windows system was bound to happen sooner or later, since many organizations use software products developed by one company.

"The world is immersed in software products created by one company. Hundreds of companies use this software, and there is a single update control center. Sooner or later, something like this was bound to happen," the expert noted.

According to one version, there was a glitch in the security software. Thousands of companies updated it without checking. As a result, there was a collapse. The network has already managed to call it a "rehearsal for doomsday," Klimenko added.

He stressed that all systems fail. There are no ideal software or hardware products. Any new technology always has both pros and cons. Now we are seeing the consequences of the introduction of digital technologies. A good system is characterized by the speed of error correction. The question is how ready this system is for recovery, he clarified.

According to the expert, security measures will probably be taken as a result of this incident. For example, Roskomnadzor of Russia requires that some companies and the Central Bank have their servers not in the clouds, but on the premises of institutions. This leads to an increase in the cost of infrastructure, but ensures security.

Klimenko noted that protocols may also emerge that will prevent mass software updates from breaching the security perimeter. In addition, new recommendations will be issued for companies such as airports and banks on how to ensure software updates and store duplicates or copies so that they are not at risk of being affected.

"In two years of special operations, Russia has separated itself from American software products. If something similar happens in Russia, it will indicate that some companies are still secretly using these products. The main critical infrastructure in Russia has been transferred to other products or isolated. Therefore, Russia is now in the position of an observer, since there is no interaction with the foreign software market," the expert emphasized.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, the Russian Ministry of Digital Development stated that there have been no reports of system failures at Russian airports. The department stated that the massive failure of the Windows operating system, which was developed by Microsoft, showed how important import substitution of foreign software is.

Banks and payment systems in at least four countries around the world have encountered problems due to a global Windows failure. The Crisis24 portal reported problems in the work of banks and payment systems in Australia and New Zealand. In particular, clients of the National Australia Bank, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Bank of New Zealand and others have encountered interruptions in the work of online banking and electronic payments.

Representatives of the banks explained the failures by "problems with an external communication provider." In addition, the Bank of Israel reported problems in the country's financial institutions, and difficulties in work have also arisen for clients of South Africa's largest bank, Capitec.

At a briefing on July 19, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the failures in the Windows operating system (OS) did not affect the Kremlin's work.

Rosaviatsiya official representative Artem Korenyako said that the global technical failure in the Windows operating system did not affect Russian airlines and airports, they are operating normally. As of 11:30 Moscow time, he specified, flights are operating on schedule.

Korenyako explained that domestic civil aviation began to implement Russian specialized software in its work several years ago as part of import substitution in the industry. The press services of Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports confirmed that the work of these air harbors is proceeding in a normal mode.

World Court: Israeli presence in East Jerusalem, West Bank is illegal and must end
[IsraelTimes] ICJ says Israel’s actions in West Bank amount to de facto annexation, calls for end of Israeli control; PM slams decision: ‘The Jewish people are not occupiers in their own land’

In a conclusive and unambiguous decision, the International Court of Justice declared in a non-binding ruling
…another one of those? How annoyingly trite…
Friday that Israel’s 56-year long rule in "the Paleostinian territory occupied since 1967" is "illegal," and that it is obligated to bring its presence in that territory to an end "as rapidly as possible."
Ya don’t say.
In its decision, the ICJ said it determined Israel’s policy of settlement in the West Bank violates international law,
…which particular law might that be, pray tell?
and that Israel had effectively annexed large parts of the West Bank — along with East Jerusalem, which was formally annexed in1980 — due to some of the apparently permanent aspects of Israeli rule there.
The entire Moslem world plus a bunch of Jew-hating mooks like you lot weren’t able to drive them out, is what that means — neither by force of arms nor by boycotts and shunning.
The legal consequences of its findings, the court ruled, were that Israel must end its control of these areas, cease new settlement activity, "repeal all legislation and measures creating or maintaining the unlawful situation" — including those which it said "discriminate against the Paleostinian people in the Occupied Paleostinian Territory" — and provide reparations for any damage caused by its "wrongful acts."
“Must.” Bless your black little hearts.
In addition, the court said that all UN member states are obligated not to recognize changes to the status of the territory, and that all states are obligated not to aid or assist Israel’s rule of the territories, and ensure that any impediment "to the exercise of the Paleostinian people of its right to self-determination is brought to an end."

The court also said that despite the complete civilian and military withdrawal from the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks.
Strip in 2005, Israel has "remained capable of exercising, and continued to exercise, certain key elements of authority" there. It added "this is even more so" since the Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
-led October 7 attack that started the ongoing Gaza war.

The ICJ’s decision is an advisory opinion and has no direct legal consequences on Israel or other UN member states, but it could be another blow to the Jewish state’s international standing and add political pressure over its devastating nine-month-old war against Paleostinian terror group Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Israel did not take part in the hearings, instead submitting a written contribution that described the questions the court had been asked as "prejudicial" and "tendentious."

NETANYAHU: FALSE AND DISTORTED DECISION
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, numerous cabinet ministers as well as settler leaders roundly denounced the ruling, with some calling for the immediate formal annexation of the West Bank in response.
*Snicker*
"The Jewish people are not occupiers in their own land — not in our eternal capital Jerusalem, not in the land of our ancestors in Judea and Samaria," Netanyahu said, using the biblical names for the West Bank. "No false decision in The Hague will distort this historical truth, just as the legality of Israeli settlement in all the territories of our homeland cannot be contested."

Some opposition politicians also denounced the decision, with National Unity party leader Benny Gantz denouncing the opinion as "external interference."

"We vow to both continue defending ourselves in the face of those seeking our destruction and to protect the one and only Jewish State," he said.

Members of left-wing opposition parties insisted, however, that Israeli policy was at fault, with Labor MK Gilad Kariv stating that the government’s "de facto annexation" of the West Bank, "theft of land" and refusal to conduct negotiations with the Paleostinians meant that it would by definition be unable to preserve "Israel’s status as an accepted democratic country."
Way to reduce your party’s winnings in the next election, dude. Maybe you should run for the Egyptian parliament instead.
PA’S ABBAS: COMPEL ISRAEL TO IMPLEMENT RULING
The Paleostinian Authority, which lobbied for the UN General Assembly to request the advisory opinion, hailed the court’s opinion.
In other words, a petty tyrant petitions one powerless talk shop to /get agreement from another powerless talk shop. But who will bell the Israeli cat, eh?
"[PA President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....>
] considers it a historic decision and demands that Israel be compelled to implement it," said a statement from his office on official Paleostinian news agency Wafa.

Abbas’s office added that it considers "the court’s decision a victory for justice, as it confirmed that the Israeli occupation is illegitimate."

Hamas also praised the ruling, with a statement from the terror organization saying it puts "the international system before the imperative of immediate action to end the occupation."

SETTLEMENTS ARE ’NOT TEMPORARY IN CHARACTER’
The request for the advisory opinion was filed with the court by the UN General Assembly in January 2023 and sought a ruling as to the legal consequences arising, it said, "from the ongoing violation by Israel of the right of the Paleostinian people to self-determination, [and] from its prolonged occupation, settlement and annexation of the Paleostinian territory occupied since 1967."

It also sought the ICJ position on how Israel’s "policies and practices" in the territories "affect the legal status of the occupation."

The court notably cited Israeli decisions and legislation regarding its rule in the West Bank, including quoting from the basic principles document of the current government which states that "the Jewish people have an exclusive and inalienable right to all parts of the Land of Israel," and that the government will "promote and develop the settlement" of all parts of the land, including "Judea and Samaria."

It also quoted from Israel’s 2018 Nation State Basic Law, which has quasi-constitutional status, which said that "Jewish settlement" was a "national value." The relevant clause in the law does not specify where the state should promote settlement and employs a Hebrew word that can be used generally for settling land and has no geographic connotations.

Along with Gaza, Israel captured the West Bank and East Jerusalem during the 1967 Six Day War. The former was ruled by Egypt, which had a military administration in the enclave, while the latter were controlled and annexed by Jordan.

The court dealt methodically with the parameters of the UN General Assembly’s request, including Israel’s policy of building and expanding Israeli neighborhoods in East Jerusalem and settlements in the West Bank.

In particular, it said "the expansion of settlements is based on the confiscation or requisition of large areas of land," and that since this benefits the settler population "to the detriment of local [Paleostinian] population," Israel’s settlements policy violated The Hague Regulations, founding documents of international law.

It also said the settlements "are not temporary in character," thus violating the Fourth Geneva Convention and accepted principles of international law that "belligerent occupations" are supposed to be temporary.

Critically, the ICJ asserted that Israel has annexed large parts of the West Bank, along with its formal annexation of East Jerusalem.

"Israel’s extension of its domestic law to the West Bank, notably to the settlements and over settlers, as well as its assumption of broad regulatory powers by virtue of the prolonged character of the occupation, entrenches its control of the occupied territory," the court determined.

"The court comes to the conclusion that Israel’s policies and practices, including maintenance and expansion of settlements, the construction of associated infrastructure and the [security] wall, the exploitation of natural resources, the proclamation of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the comprehensive application of Israeli domestic law in East Jerusalem and its extensive application in the West Bank, entrench Israeli control of the occupied Paleostinians territories, notably of East Jerusalem and Area C of the West Bank," it continued.

Crucially, it said that these practices "are designed to remain in place indefinitely and to create irreversible effects on the ground."

As such, the ICJ charged that Israel’s 56-year rule in the Paleostinian territories was illegal.

"The sustained abuse by Israel of its position as an occupying power through its annexation and assertion of permanent control over occupied Paleostinian territory, and its continued frustration of the right of the Paleostinian people to self determination violates fundamental principles of international law, and renders Israel’s presence in the occupied Paleostinian territory unlawful," the court determined.

"This illegality relates to the entirety of Paleostinian territory occupied by Israel in 1967. This is the territorial unit across which Israel has imposed policies and practices to fragment and frustrate the ability of the Paleostinian people to exercise its right to self-determination, and over large swaths of which it has extended Israeli illusory sovereignty in violation of international law."

Seversky direction: a dash to Ivano-Daryevka situation as of 18:00 on July 19, 2024

In the Seversky sector, which had not previously been characterized by high intensity of military clashes, the news of the capture of Ivano-Daryevka thundered like a bolt from the blue. Media coverage of the sector on both sides is very restrained, which sometimes leads to a lack of precise information about the configuration of the front.

Russian soldiers from the 123rd Motorized Rifle Brigade, after clearing the area, installed a flag in the center of the village. The nearest previously known positions of the Russian Armed Forces are at least three kilometers away from both Spornoye and the railroad in the Vyemka area. Now the prospect of an attack on the latter is open not only from the south, but also from the east.

Ukrainian formations may probably be located on the high ground near Ivano-Daryevka in the Ivano-Daryevka Razrez nature reserve and pine forest, where the enemy prepared a network of trenches and strongholds several years ago.

The difference in altitude compared to the village itself here is more than 70 meters, and the area near the local ravine and the Sukhaya Plotva River is swampy, so Russian troops can outflank the enemy's fortified area without advancing across open terrain, after which they can proceed to storm the Vyemka.

In connection with the capture of Ivano-Daryevka, the "pocket" on the Veseloye-Berestovoye line ceased to exist, and the Ukrainian formations, based on the fact of control over Ivano-Daryevka, retreated from the western outskirts of Spornoye. Less than seven kilometers remain to the outskirts of Seversk, which is an important fortified area of ??the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

18:05 Gorlovka – Druzhba.

Positional military actions in the Gorlovka area. The forward position of the Russian Armed Forces in the village of Druzhba is under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The expansion of the Russian Armed Forces control zone to 300 meters to the north along Petra Velikogo Street.

Aleksandro-Kalinovskoye direction: expansion of the control zone in Novgorodskoye and fighting in Kirovo situation as of 13:00 on July 19, 2024

Russian troops continue their assault on the Dzerzhinsky agglomeration, expanding their zone of control simultaneously in several areas of the front.

In the Druzhba area, Russian troops took up new positions in the area of Petra Velikogo and Kutuzova streets on the approaches to the Magdalinovka railway station.

In Kirovo (Pivnichny), the Russian Armed Forces took control of several houses in the area of Tsvetochnaya and Pavlova streets in the SNT Sotsgorodok, and also occupied the spoil heap of the Yuzhnaya mine in Leninsky (Pivdenny).

In Artemovo (Zaliznoye), Russian troops are advancing along Kaspiyskaya, Chapayeva and Mayskaya streets, having advanced about a kilometer in 10 days. In the area of the latter, according to some reports, the advance assault units reached the territory of a local school yesterday, but there is no objective evidence of this yet. At the moment, fighting is taking place on Lomonosov Street.

On the northern outskirts of Shcherbinovka, a road bridge was destroyed as a result of a direct hit from an Kh-38 missile, which will complicate the enemy's logistics across the Krivoy Torets River in this area for some time.

In the Novgorodsky (New York) area, Russian troops expanded their control zone in the private sector to the west, gaining a foothold in the Pochtovaya Street area and occupying part of Yesenina, Ostrovsky, Zavodskaya and Dekabristov Streets. At the moment, there are battles for control over the multi-story buildings (locals call this area Petrovskaya Gora). Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft are dropping FAB-500s from UMPKs on enemy positions in the industrial zone near the phenol and machine-building plants.

In the eastern part of Novgorodskoye, the landing party in armored vehicles advanced along Zheleznaya and Sovetskaya streets, reaching the territory of school No. 18. The enemy conducted remote mining of the area, as a result of which one of the armored vehicles was damaged and subsequently destroyed. Another BMP probably drove further north, but the scale of the advance is still unknown.

According to some reports, the Russian Armed Forces have managed to reach the Sotsgorodok quarter in the area of Ozerskogo Street to the northwest of the Fenolnaya railway station and are fighting near the Avangard stadium. Considering the current configuration of the front and the rapidly changing situation, such a rapid dash to the center of the settlement is entirely possible, but due to the lack of precise data from the ground, it is not yet possible to confirm this information.

12:12 Khar'kov direction (Kupyansk area).

It is reported, that after the liberation in the vicinity of the settlement of Ivanovka, our MLRS and TOS are working on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which are hiding in forest belts and ruins.

11:15 Statement by the head of the press center of the Dnepr group –video.

Units of the Dnepr group of forces inflicted losses on the manpower and equipment of the 118th Infantry Brigade, the 124th and 126th Territorial Defense brigades in the areas of Novodanilovka, Kuibyshevo and Novotyaginka.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 125 servicemen, eight vehicles, two 155mm M777 howitzers, a 122mm self-propelled artillery unit 2S1 Gvozdika, and a Bukovel electronic warfare station.

Two ammunition depots and a military-technical equipment depot were destroyed.

Court extends investigation period in Crocus terror attack case
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The court extended the investigation period in the case of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow until September 22. This is stated in official documents.

“The preliminary investigation period has been extended... until September 22, 2024,” RIA Novosti reports.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on July 16, the head of Rosfinmonitoring, Yuri Chikhanchin, reported that the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall was organized by an international team with representatives from different countries. He specified that some Russian citizens also became members of this group.

On July 17, Russian Health Minister Assistant Alexei Kuznetsov said that three people injured in the terrorist attack remain in hospitals in moderate condition.

The terrorist attack in Crocus took place on March 22. The attackers burst into the hall, started shooting at people, and then set the auditorium on fire. As a result of the incident, 145 people died, including six children, and more than 500 people were injured. According to FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, the goal of the customers was to damage Russia's relations with the CIS countries through religious and national factors.

The perpetrators of the March 23 terrorist attack were detained in the Bryansk region; they were heading towards the border with Ukraine. The terrorists' connection with Ukrainian nationalists was proven. The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested 18 defendants in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. The court extended the arrest period for all of them until August 22.

President Vladimir Putin emphasized that Russia will get everyone involved in the terrorist attack in the Moscow region concert hall, not only the direct perpetrators, but also those who ordered it.

Pakistan offers cooperation to Oman in fighting terrorism
[GEO.TV] Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday strongly condemned the dastardly terrorist attack on a mosque in the Wadi Kabir district of Muscat on July 16 and offered Pakistain’s support to Oman in the elimination of terrorism in all of its forms.
Pakistain isn't Greek, but I still had an anomalous thought, something about Greeks bearing gifts? I wonder why that was?
The ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Fahad Sulaiman Khalaf Al Kharusi, paid a courtesy call on PM Shehbaz earlier today.
Pakistain is rolling in dough. They can easily afford to send an expeditionary force to Oman.
Especially if Oman is paying…
The premier appreciated Oman’s swift response and cooperation with the Pakistain mission in the repatriation of the bodies of the dear departed and treatment of the injured.
First thing that's happened in Oman in years, which should imply they could give lessons to Pak in how to maintain order.
The attack claimed the lives of six people, including four Pak nationals, and left over 30 injured, nearly all of whom were Paks.

PM Shehbaz said Pakistain had itself been the victim of terrorism for the past several decades.
Shot itself in the foot multiple times, didn't it?
During the meeting, the prime minister conveyed his best wishes for Sultan Haitham bin Tariq while recalling his telephonic conversations with the Sultan on Eidul Adha and Eidul Fitr earlier in the year.

The premier also reiterated his invitation to the Sultan of Oman for an official visit to Pakistain at his earliest convenience.

It's Long Past Time for MSNBC to Fire Joy Reid
[Red State] She's long been a racialist homophobic hater. Have you ever noticed the most bitter hags are named Joy?
Joy Reid’s descent into madness has been well-chronicled on MSNBC, but her latest comments suggesting the assassination attempt against Donald Trump was staged should be the final straw that earns her a pink slip from the network.

Reid, aside from lacking talent outright, is now a danger to the public discourse due to her lead role as a BlueAnon conspiracy theorist.

Earlier in the week, she accused Trump of using the attempt on his life as a "photo op."

"Donald Trump is an elderly man who, for whatever reason, was given nine seconds to take an iconic photo-op during an active shooter situation," she declared.

Yes, of course. Because it seems likely that a man who just had his head nearly blown off thoughtfully crafted a plan to gather the Secret Service around him in the hopes that a photographer was snapping away.

Reid then tried to convince her followers that the GOP candidate didn’t actually get shot.

"I have many questions! Like where are the medical reports? What caused Trump’s injury and what was the injury? Sheapnel? [sic] Glass? A bullet?" she wrote on Threads.

The main question here is: How can one person be that dumb and still be employed at a major news network? If you could somehow harness the energy coming from Joy’s brainwaves, you might — MIGHT — be able to light a small birthday candle.

Reid’s conspiracy theory, of course, has been debunked by left-wing fact-checker Snopes. Why let a little thing like the truth get in the way of reporting at MSNBC?

Reid then tripled down on the insanity. Days after the "Maybe he didn’t get hit with a bullet" buffoonery was debunked, she reiterated it and suggested the entire assassination attempt was staged.

"When it comes to what happened on Saturday, with former President Donald Trump, this assassination attempt, we know almost nothing about his medical condition," she said.

"How come no one else has any information about this wound? We still don't know for sure whether Donald Trump was hit by a bullet, whether he was hit by glass fragments, whether he was hit by shrapnel, we don't have those details," she falsely contends.

"We know almost nothing! Why? Why don't we know that much?"

Volumes could be written about the things Joy Reid doesn’t know.

It isn’t that she’s been able to hide her obvious hysteria, and it’s suddenly just making an appearance with this coverage of the assassination attempt.

But the level it is reaching — the absolute delusion, the wide-eyed neurosis on full display — requires a colleague at that network to step in. Imagine being the family of Corey Comperatore, the retired volunteer fire chief who was killed in the assassination attempt, having to listen to this woman suggest the shooting was staged.

Alex Jones suffered for spreading the same tin-foil hat-level conspiracy theories that Reid is now espousing.

Reid has a long, long history of lunacy. Check out this recent video of her commentary on the Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity, in which she insists Joe Biden’s cognitive decline does not matter so long as they get Trump.

She invokes a Waffle House and a Best Western for absolutely no reason before declaring that Biden "could roll around in a wheelchair" for all she cares, so long as Trump doesn’t get back in the White House.

Hmm. That’s the kind of insistence — that Trump must be stopped at all costs — that leads to violence.

Where is somebody at MSNBC to come along and say, "Look, Joy, we can’t have you on the airwaves saying things that prove you’re a weapons-grade dolt, okay? It reflects poorly on our profession. Not to mention, your incendiary lies are going to get somebody killed. If you don’t stop, we’re pulling the plug."

Reid also has a long history of fireable offenses. Anybody recall those bigoted, homophobic blog posts, which she claims were posted by hackers?

The FBI was supposed to look into that. That crack staff of Barney Fife’s will probably solve the case right around the same time they find the J6 pipe bomber or the cocaine addict in the White House.

The point is that Joy Reid has never been held accountable by anybody at MSNBC. It’s well past time they took action here.

They can’t continue to turn a blind eye. Not when the temperature in the country needs to be lowered. The only thing Joy Reid is currently lowering is the collective IQ of the people who watch her.

Migrants Decline Newsom's Offer Of Asylum In CA Since They Just Came From A Collapsing Communist Hellhole With No Electricity
[Bee] MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — This week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis flew 50 migrants to an affluent island in Massachusetts to highlight the struggles of border states whose resources are buckling amid soaring numbers of undocumented immigrants. Progressives have labeled the action as "cruel" and "heartless," but when California governor Gavin Newsom volunteered asylum for the migrants in his own state, they declined the offer since they had only recently escaped a collapsing communist state without electricity.

"I don't like bullies, and Florida governor Ron DeSantis is bullying these migrants by not welcoming them! We in California believe a nation of immigrants draws its strength from more immigrants — come to the sunshine state and we will house you, clothe you, and feed you." Newsom spoke out in a video message from his home after the events of the week, pledging that there was "no limit" to how high he would tax other people to pay for the migrants' livelihoods but also clarifying that he would not be able to help personally.

While the migrants have heard the message, they have already voiced their intent to avoid California to reporters, speaking out about the harrowing circumstances they had escaped: skyrocketing inflation, a demolished economy, and obvious corruption at the highest levels of government. The migrants say that California's trash-littered sidewalks, water shortages, and electrical outages bear too much resemblance to the Venezuela they left behind for it to be a desirable destination.

One of Governor Newsom's PACs, Robbing California Citizens To Fund Our Voter Base, has posted a press release condemning the migrants for the comparison. "To compare California to Venezuela is disingenuous, and these narrow-minded migrants should be ashamed. They come from a nation where business is stifled by overregulation and state interference, a one-party system has ruled for decades with a compliant state media to tout its success while cities burn, and citizens struggling to pay for gas, food, and other necessities — this is nothing like California. For this disrespect, we call for their immediate deportation to the ’greener pastures' of Florida that they seek so much, with plans for them to be re-imported for votes during election seasons."

At publishing time, Newsom had reiterated his offer in a video at his $5 million home, gesturing to the plentiful electricity around him, but migrants have said that this reminds them too much of the opulence enjoyed by Chavez and then Maduro while they wreaked havoc on the nation.

Dozens of bodies found in abandoned Ukrainian Armed Forces part of Toretsk
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] Dozens of civilian bodies have been found in the basements of private houses in Toretsk, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). As TASS reported on July 19, citing an unnamed source in the DPR security forces, this is a part of the city abandoned by Ukrainian militants.

There are those who died as a result of the ammunition being dropped, there are those who were simply shot or pelted with incendiary shells, the agency's interlocutor explained. The information was also confirmed by refugees from Toretsk.

One of the rescued women explained that Ukrainian drones tracked the movements of citizens and deliberately hit crowds of people in basements, hit those, for example, who were trying to bury a neighbor, whom the Ukrainian Armed Forces simply shot.

Meanwhile, on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region, airborne units carried out a successful operation to eliminate an enemy battalion command post. According to intelligence officers, the strike was carried out at the moment of the arrival of a group of Ukrainian officers.

Artillerymen from Zabaikalsky Krai destroyed armored vehicles and enemy personnel using coordinates transmitted by UAV operators. The corresponding video footage was published by the Ministry of Defense.

"We received data from UAV reconnaissance. We left and worked within 10-13 minutes. The target was hit. There was no such thing that we did not hit," said the deputy platoon commander with the call sign Atlet about the results of the work.

Investigative Committee will check the data on the bodies of people killed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, found in the basements of Toretsk

The Russian Investigative Committee will conduct an investigation into the latest crimes of the Kiev regime that resulted in the death and injury of civilians, and will also check information about the bodies of civilians found in Toretsk. This was reported on July 19 by the press service of the department.

As a result of the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Investigative Committee noted, a civilian was wounded in the Belgorod Region, and a civilian was killed in the village of Gornal in the Kursk Region. These facts will be investigated, and the actions of those involved will be given a criminal-legal assessment.

In addition, investigators will check information that bodies of civilians killed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were found in the basements of houses located near the line of combat contact.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, earlier the security forces reported that the bodies of people killed as a result of drone attacks, incendiary shells or shootings were found in Toretsk. Dozens of bodies were found in basements, presumably victims of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The death of a civilian in the village of Gornal during an attack by a Ukrainian drone was previously reported by the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov. The drone attacked the territory of the monastery, he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Neo-Nazi ex-MP shot in Ukraine
[RT] An outspoken Ukrainian ultranationalist and former member of parliament, Irina Farion, was fatally shot outside her home in the western city of Lviv, according to local media.

Farion, 60, was a member of the Verkhovna Rada from 2012-2014, and was best known for hard-line Russophobic positions. She was attacked on Friday evening as she stepped out of her house.

“There was a shot to the temple. The shooter was seen by the neighbors, he was wearing gloves and the weapon did not have a silencer,” local journalist Marta Olyarnik said in a Facebook post.

Farion was rushed to a local hospital. One local Telegram channel reported she was in critical condition, while city councilman Igor Zinkevich described her condition as “serious.”
"Dead" is pretty "serious"
Several hours later, however, Lviv Mayor Andrey Sadovoy confirmed that she succumbed to her injuries.

“Doctors did everything possible, but the injury was incompatible with life,” Sadovoy said. “It is very scary and terrible that there is no longer a safe place in Ukraine. But for such a brazen, impudent murder, the killer must be found.”

Video from the scene showed a pool of blood on the street. Local media have described the attacker as a young man in his early twenties. The gunman’s identity and whereabouts remain unknown.

Farion was a member of ‘Svoboda’ (Freedom), formerly known as the Social-National Party of Ukraine, led by neo-Nazi Oleg Tyagnibok. She expressed open sympathy for WWII neo-Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera.

While in parliament, she championed a total ban on the use of Russian language in Ukraine. In January last year, she famously told the media that her grandson Dmitry was hitting Russian-speaking children at his kindergarten. Several months later, she called anyone who lived in Ukraine but did not speak Ukrainian “biological waste.”

This hard line led her to clash with other nationalists. Last November, Farion said that Russian-speaking members of ‘Azov’ were not proper Ukrainians, drawing the ire of Maksim Zhorin and Bogdan Krotevich, two veterans of the notorious neo-Nazi unit.

The Lviv Polytechnic, where Farion was teaching at the time, fired her over the comments. She was reinstated by a court order in May this year.

Moscow has repeatedly condemned Ukrainian laws restricting the use of the Russian language and policies aimed at eroding cultural and historical ties with the neighboring state. President Vladimir Putin has cited “the de-Russification and forced assimilation” of Russian speakers – more than a third of Ukraine’s population – by Kiev as being one of the causes of the current conflict.

#1  Social-National Party of Ukraine,

This name is a valuable insight into Ukrainian nationalists' mental ability.

Farion said that Russian-speaking members of ‘Azov’ were not proper Ukrainians

Which, I surmise, is what got her shot.

Hezbollah launches dozens of rockets at north; drone from Lebanon intercepted
[IsraelTimes] Lebanese terror group says barrages are response to recent IDF strikes, without mentioning killing of senior Radwan commander on Thursday

According to the Israel Defense Forces, several of the rockets were shot down by the Iron Dome air defense system, while others impacted open areas.

No injuries were caused and troops shelled the launch sites with artillery, the IDF said.

Later, a rocket launcher used in one of the barrages against the community of Abirim was targeted in a dronezap, alongside a building used by the terror group, in southern Lebanon’s Ayta ash-Shab, the military said.

Hezbollah grabbed credit for a series of barrages, in what it says was a response to recent IDF strikes in southern Lebanon.

In the morning, the military said a suspected drone that entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon was shot down by air defenses. Sirens had sounded in the Galilee over fears of falling shrapnel. There were no injuries.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: July 19, 2024
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Worth noting, korrespondent.net has compiled its Invasion of Ukraine series into separate months, beginning May 9th, 2023. Linked in the title.

[Korrespondent] 22:36 Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto called Ukraine's halt to transit of Russian LUKOIL oil "incomprehensible and unacceptable" and wants to raise the issue at a meeting of the EU Council. According to him, Hungary has found temporary solutions to stabilize supplies, but they are not suitable for the long term, and a "quick solution" is needed.

22:15 Ukraine and its partners will probably finalize the vision of a special tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression against Ukraine this fall, predicts Justice Minister Denis Malyuska. "The key problem that was, is and will remain, which needs to be monitored as a marker of the success or failure of negotiations, is the possibility of condemning Putin and his inner circle by such a tribunal," the minister noted, adding that the biggest discussions are continuing regarding the possible lifting of immunity from these individuals.

22:02 It is hypothetically possible to end the hot stage of the war with Russia by the end of 2024 - this opinion was expressed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a conversation with the BBC. He was not the only one who spoke the day before about how long the war would last. Korrespondent.net has collected the latest statements on this matter. Read more about the new predictions for the end of the war in the article By the end of the year and 10 years.

19:54 According to preliminary information, Russians hit Nikolaev with an X-59 missile, the prosecutor's office reported. As a result of the airstrike, a kindergarten playground in the courtyard of multi-story buildings was damaged. Multi-apartment residential buildings were damaged by the blast wave and debris. At present, three people are known to have died, including a 12-year-old child, and five injured.

19:08 Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said that the international community's efforts to end the war in Ukraine should first and foremost be aimed at creating conditions for direct dialogue between Moscow and Kiev. He added that major states "should demonstrate positive energy rather than exert negative influence."

18:57 On Saturday, July 20, from 02:00 to 05:00, electricity consumption will not be limited, Ukrenergo reported. From 13:00 to 24:00, two stages of shutdowns will be in effect, and one stage during other hours.

18:46 In Nikolaev, a Russian missile hit a children's playground near a multi-story building; as of now, five people are known to have been injured and three killed, including a child, Zelensky said.

18:24 Russians have attacked a residential area in Nikolaev - currently three people are known to have died, including a ten-year-old child, Mayor Alexander Senkevich reported.

17:39 Less than 10% of those who previously had the status of limited fitness are now considered unfit for service, said Roman Gorbach, head of the Main Personnel Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He recalled that the status of "limited fitness" was previously removed from the law: within nine months, all these people must undergo a medical commission, which will recognize them as unfit, fit, or fit only for military service in certain places, such as rear units, logistics units, or the TCC.

"To understand, of all those who are partially fit, somewhere a very small share - less than 10% - are considered unfit now during their service, and approximately 50/50 personnel are divided into those who are absolutely fit and those who are fit in certain military units," Gorbach explained.

16:45 Zelensky said that the Polish government had made a decision that would speed up the receipt of F-16 fighters by Ukraine. However, he did not specify what decision he was talking about.

16:18 About 5,000 nuclear workers have left the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant for the territory controlled by Ukraine, Energy Minister German Galushchenko reported. "They all work for Energoatom, and this is exactly the personnel we plan to use to complete the construction of the Khmelnitsky NPP units," the minister added.

15:51 The number of casualties as a result of the morning Russian shelling of Belozerka in the Kherson region has risen to six, two people have died, OVA reported.

15:42 Zelensky told a UK government meeting that Russia is "weaker in many ways": "Their intelligence is weaker. Their diplomacy has become simple bribes, lies or threats. Economically, they are not strong. The only competitive advantage that Putin has left is a large stockpile of Soviet-era weapons, money and a complete disregard for human life. Quite a dangerous mix. We must deprive Putin of money and the ability to produce more weapons."

15:15 Ukraine and the UK have signed a £2 billion loan agreement to finance Ukraine's defence needs. The Defence Ministry reported that the agreement provides financial support for the purchase of modern weapons, military equipment and other defence equipment in accordance with NATO standards.

15:07 Ukrainian military shot down a Russian Su-25 in the Pokrovsk direction, the Operational-Strategic Group of Forces Khortytsia reported. They said that the plane tried to fire at the positions of the Defense Forces units.

14:56 The international depository Euroclear received 3.4 billion euros in interest income from investing blocked Russian assets in the first half of 2024 and will make the first contribution of approximately 1.55 billion euros to the European Fund for Ukraine in July, the depository’s report says.

14:30 Another 12 children have been returned to Ukraine, Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets reported. According to him, the children lived with their families in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.

14:09 Zelensky, during a speech at a meeting of the UK government, asked Prime Minister Keir Starmer to "show his leadership" and lift the ban on strikes deep into Russian territory, The Guardian writes. Zelensky said that "if restrictions on Western weapons are lifted," this will help Ukraine strengthen its defense and secure its forward positions. He added that it is possible to destroy the sites of weapons concentration in Russia.

13:28 New UK Defence Minister John Healey did not rule out that Zelensky's request for the possibility of using British missiles to strike Russian territory could be granted, but added that London would not be involved in such attacks: "We provide weapons to Ukraine to defend their sovereign country. And that doesn't stop them from hitting targets in Russia, but that should be done by Ukrainians. That should be done within the parameters and within international humanitarian law."

As expected by British media, Zelensky will call at a meeting of the British government to allow Ukraine to use Storm Shadow missiles for attacks on Russian territory.

13:11 Orban said that he will announce his further actions within the framework of the "peace initiative" after the fact: "There are many opponents to the peace mission, so if it is possible to know in advance what the next step is, many will act to prevent it from happening."

12:52 Air defense shot down an Iskander missile system that attacked Odessa Oblast the day before, Navy spokesman Dmitry Pletenchuk reported. He called it a "landmark event."

12:35 The European Union has allocated 100 million euros in grant funds to Ukrenergo for the modernization, restoration and protection of energy facilities, the company reported.

12:23 European countries have agreed on new measures against the Russian "shadow fleet", British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said. He specified that 44 European countries have approved a plan to combat the "shadow fleet" of Russian oil tankers, which are used to circumvent international sanctions.

11:47 In Belozerka, two people were killed and five were wounded as a result of the morning Russian shelling, reported the head of the OVA, Alexander Prokudin.

11:31 Scholz rejected Zelensky's call to shoot down Russian missiles and drones over Ukraine, as well as to allow the use of Western weapons to strike Russian territory: "I see a consensus that such steps are out of the question, and the US has also spoken very clearly about this."

11:26 In Kherson, the Russian army attacked an ambulance team from a drone, two medical workers were injured, said the head of the OVA, Alexander Prokudin. In addition, in Belozerka, which the Russians shelled in the morning from the Grad MLRS, the death toll has risen to two. The previous evening, the Russian army attacked Antonovka, one person was killed.

11:02 NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe Christopher Cavoli said Ukraine has an "excellent strategy" for waging war against Russia, although the course of hostilities is becoming increasingly difficult to predict. According to him, a key part of "force generation" for Ukraine depends on EU and NATO countries: "This will require us to stockpile and produce more equipment than we thought, perhaps, two years ago."

10:53 The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports that Russians are massively canceling tours to Crimea. In particular, about 80% of Russians have cancelled tours to Sevastopol organized for June. The overall Crimean rate of cancellation of already booked tours last month was more than a third. The mass refusal of Russians to vacation in Crimea was influenced by the unreliable work of the Russian Air Defense, as well as the vulnerable Kerch Bridge, which remains the main artery for tourism from Russia and is used for military logistics.

10:06 Four explosions were heard in Luhansk, a helicopter base could have been hit, the Russian opposition publication Astra reports, citing local residents. Presumably, the Luhansk Higher Military Aviation School of Navigators was attacked. The "authorities" of the occupied region stated that air defense allegedly shot down three ATACMS missiles over Luhansk.

09:07 In Donetsk Oblast, five people were killed as a result of Russian shelling on July 18: three in Grodovets and two in Pleshcheyevka. Another seven people in the oblast were injured in the past 24 hours, said OVA head Vadim Filashkin.

08:53 At night, Russians launched two strikes on the center of the city of Chuguev in the Kharkiv region, reported the head of the OVA Oleg Sinegubov. Nine people were injured, including a 14-year-old child. Residential buildings, two stores, and an administrative building were damaged.

08:34 In the morning, Russian troops struck a residential building in Belozerka, Kherson region, one person was killed, said the head of the OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin. Over the previous day, one person was killed in the region, eight were injured, including one child.

08:28 Over the past 24 hours, seven reconnaissance UAVs were destroyed by air defense in the southern and eastern directions: four Orlan-10 and three Supercam, the Air Force reported.

07:49 The General Staff announced the estimated losses of the Russian Federation as of the morning of July 19:

  • personnel - about 564,620 (+980) people,

  • tanks - 8250 (+5),

  • combat armored vehicles - 15,902 (+19),

  • artillery systems - 15,520 (+55),

  • MLRS - 1120 (+0),

  • air defense systems - 894 (+1),

  • aircraft - 361 (+0),

  • helicopters - 326 (+0),

  • Operational-tactical level UAVs - 12,316 (+42),

  • cruise missiles - 2401 (+3),

  • ships/boats - 28 (+0),

  • submarines - 1 (+0),

  • automotive equipment and tank trucks - 20,909 (+76),

  • special equipment - 2593 (+0).

07:36 Zelensky and Trump will hold a telephone conversation today, CNN reports.

07:24 The Russian Defense Ministry stated that air defense allegedly destroyed 19 UAVs over the Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as over the territory of Crimea and the Black Sea.

06:30 Stoltenberg admits that the war in Ukraine could last more than ten years. "But the main message is that the stronger the support for Ukraine and whether we are ready to take on long-term commitments, the sooner this war will end. Putin thinks that he can wait us out. That is why the war continues," the secretary general added. He also called on NATO's European members to increase their commitments amid concerns that US funding could be cut or even stopped if Trump wins the US presidential race.

05:13 By putting pressure on Russia, a diplomatic settlement to the war in Ukraine can be agreed upon, Zelensky told the BBC. According to him, the whole world will have to put pressure on Russia to convince it to sit down at the table and consider ending the war. "This does not mean that all territories are recaptured by force. I think that the power of diplomacy can help," the president noted, adding that a weaker Russia on the battlefield would put Ukraine in a stronger position at the negotiating table.

As for Trump's statements that he will allegedly end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours, Zelensky believes that this is a "simple way" that consists of "making us pay." "This means simply stopping and forgetting: sanctions, Putin will take the land and make a victory for his society. We will never do this. And there is not a single guy in the world who will push us to do this," the president emphasized.

According to him, if Trump and Vance come to power, "we will have to work" with the United States. "We need their support. I think it will be hard work. It will not be easy to persuade them. But we are not afraid of hard work," Zelensky added.

He also admitted that the “hot phase” of the war could end by the end of the year.

00:08 Zelensky reported that he held a meeting with representatives of British defense companies, and discussed the prospects for joint defense production, primarily ammunition, air defense systems, guns, armored vehicles, and drones.

The enemy remains active in the Pokrovsky and Lyman directions — Ukrainian General Staff
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[LB] Since the beginning of the day, 76 combat clashes took place at the front.

by Ivanna Kapustyanska

Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian army.

Jake Sullivan says hostage deal is the main focus of upcoming Netanyahu-Biden meeting
[JPost] "Ohhhh, yeah. We forgot them!"
The two leaders will meet in Washington next week, where Netanyahu will also address the US Congress.

President Joe Biden will focus his energy in his meeting next week with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on securing the ceasefire and hostage deal, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said on Friday afternoon during an interview at the Aspen Security Forum.

"Several weeks ago, the president went out and said to the world, there is a blueprint, a pathway to get the hostages home, a ceasefire in place, humanitarian assistance in Gaza," he said. "We believe there is an opportunity to get it done. Let's use next week to try to clear through those obstacles and get a deal."

President Biden said these are going to be difficult talks requiring a lot of give and take and back and forth, according to Sullivan,

According to Sullivan, while the initial phase is six weeks, Biden said one of the terms of this framework is that if the parties are at the table with the mediators and continuing to make progress, that first phase could be extended until they reach an agreement and move into phase two.

"Most of that is understood by both Israel and Hamas. There are some technical details to be worked out about the phase one to phase two sequence," Sullivan said. "That's one of the issues that we have to work through in the end game, and it's one of the things that President Biden and I will have the chance to talk to the prime minister about."

The White House has not yet seen a copy of the speech Netanyahu will deliver next Wednesday before Congress.

Sullivan said the White House expects his speech to be different from the one he delivered in 2015 and should reflect today's circumstances, which are how the US and Israel are trying to "face down the terrorist threat, to coordinate together on the regional challenges that both of our countries are facing, and how we're continuing to work towards the ceasefire and hostage deal."

Sullivan said he expects to have "productive conversations" with the Israeli government in the days before Netanyahu's address.

Earlier in the day, during another interview at the conference, Secretary of State Antony Blinken described the ceasefire negotiations as "inside the 10-yard line and driving toward the goal line."

"We often know the last 10 yards are often the hardest," he added, noting the question now is finishing negotiating some critical details.

Blinken dodged the question about reports of Netanyahu deliberately sabotaging the ceasefire negotiations and carefully answered how he deals with the prime minister.

"I'm not focused on personalities; I'm focused on policies," Blinken said, which led to some laughter from the audience. "And we want to make sure as we go forward with anyone, whether it's our Israeli allies or anyone else, that we reach agreements on the concrete steps to be taken to move whatever it is we're trying to move forward."

Blinken said what he's hearing across Israeli society is a strong desire to "get this done" and to get a ceasefire and the hostages home.

A NEED FOR TWO STATES
When asked if the future of a two-state solution was dead, Blinken replied, "Not only is it not that, it can't be."

Though he said there are fundamental realities that can't be escaped, that between Gaza and the West Bank, there are over five million Palestinians. There are about seven million Israeli Jews.

"Neither is going anywhere," he said. "Palestinians are not going anywhere. The Jews are not going anywhere."

There has to be an accommodation that brings lasting peace and lasting security to Israelis who so desperately want it and need it and fulfills the right to self-determination of the Palestinians, Blinken said.

On Iran, he said, "where we are now is not a good place," as they're likely weeks away from developing the breakout capacity of producing fissile material for a nuclear weapon, though Iran has not developed a nuclear weapon itself.

We need to see if Iran is serious about actually pulling back, he said, adding the Biden administration has "been maximizing pressure on Iran across the board."

'The Heart of the Land of Israel': Netanyahu took revenge on Biden for last year's 'Maidan'
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Aleksandr Kargin
The writer nails it.
[REGNUM] The Israeli parliament (Knesset) has voted overwhelmingly to adopt a resolution rejecting the creation of a Palestinian state. Why was this high-profile decision taken now, and what consequences will it have not only for the Middle East conflict, but also for global politics?

"The Israeli Knesset strongly opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state west of Jordan. The establishment of a Palestinian state in the heart of the land of Israel would pose an existential threat to the State of Israel and its citizens, perpetuate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and destabilize the region," the resolution says.

The document outlines the main concerns of Israeli critics of Palestinian statehood. For example, the document claims that if a Palestinian state is created, Hamas will soon "seize power and turn it into a base of terror, acting in coordination with the Iranian-led 'axis' aimed at eliminating the state of Israel."

The Knesset decision itself is declarative in nature. It does not carry significant legal consequences, but rather consolidates the consensus that exists today among the majority of Israeli political actors on the Palestinian issue.

Moreover, the text emphasizes that Israel opposes the creation of a Palestinian state “now.” Thus, it is not excluded that in the future, if circumstances change, the decision will be revised.

The resolution was adopted by parties in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition, as well as right-wing opposition parties. Notably, the initiative received support from opposition leader Benny Gantz's centrist party.

Moreover, members of parliament from the center-left Yesh Atid party of former Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid left the session hall in order not to support this decision, but did not openly vote against it. This is due to the currently dominant narrative in Israeli society against the creation of a Palestinian state and Yair Lapid’s fear of electoral costs.

The icing on the cake is that the resolution was adopted just days before Netanyahu's visit to the United States, where he will address a joint session of both houses of Congress and meet with President Joe Biden at the White House.

Thus, with this demonstrative step, Netanyahu kills two birds with one stone - he strengthens his position inside Israel and at the same time complicates life for Biden, whose left-wing voters will be extremely unhappy with this decision by the White House partners.

In fact, today it is obvious that the Israeli Prime Minister not only supports Donald Trump, but is doing everything in his power to ensure that Biden loses. This is the revenge on the owner of the White House for the attempt at an Israeli-style "Maidan" last year, when, at Washington's instigation, Israel was rocked by anti-government demonstrations.

At the same time, this decision by the Israeli parliament is a kind of message to the European Union, as if saying: “Israel will not succumb to European pressure.”

This is undoubtedly connected with the recent parade of recognitions of the Palestinian state by a number of European countries – Ireland, Norway, Spain and Slovenia. Moreover, Spain even joined the case of South Africa in the International Court in The Hague, which is considering the accusation of Israel of genocide against Palestinians.

In this regard, it seems highly likely that European-Israeli relations will worsen, although the right-wing forces that have strengthened their positions in Europe are, for the most part, taking pro-Israeli positions, which will soften the situation.

In general, there is unity in Israel in terms of opposing Palestinian statehood “here and now.”

The problem is that society lacks a clear idea of what to do next.

Most Israelis also do not want to annex disputed territories, including the Gaza Strip, to Israel, or give Israeli citizenship to local Palestinians.

In fact, given the total popularity of the ultra-radical Hamas among the Palestinians, the only option for the near future is to maintain the status quo – a continuation of the bloody confrontation and increasing escalation.

When has the ICJ said anything critical of the EU? Describing the ICJ as the Lawfare arm of the EU seems hard to disagree with.

Prosecutors Request Long Sentences in Makhachkala Airport Riots Case
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The state prosecutor at the Armavir City Court hearing on the case of the riots at the Makhachkala airport asked to sentence five defendants to terms of seven to 10 years. Several more cases will soon be submitted to the courts of Kuban and Stavropol, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office reported.

As reported by "Kavkazsky Uzel", the Armavir City Court twice postponed the start of the hearing of the case on the riots at the Makhachkala airport in relation to five defendants - Anvarbek Atayev, Islam Ibragimov, Magomed Omaraskhabov, Rabadan Radzhabov and Salik Ramazanov. The arrest of the accused was extended until December 30. Criminal cases on acute issues are better transferred  to other regions, said the head of the Human Rights Council Valery Fadeyev, commenting on the trial in Armavir on the case of riots at the Makhachkala airport.

On February 17, relatives of the participants in the riots at the Makhachkala airport appealed to Putin with a request for leniency. They stated that their detained relatives were victims of a provocation and made a mistake.
The provocation being that a mob of local Moslems decided to hunt down arriving Israeli tourists following the Hamas atrocities on 10/7 — but when they didn’t find any of their chosen victims, they rioted instead.
The authors of the appeal noted that some families do not have the opportunity to travel to court hearings in Krasnodar Krai, where the case of five defendants has been transferred. Lawyers noted that the transfer of the case to Kuban can be appealed, but success is unlikely .

The Armavir City Court of Krasnodar Krai held a court hearing for five residents of Dagestan who were charged in a criminal case regarding the riots at the Makhachkala airport (five people are accused of participating in mass riots (Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and one of the defendants is also accused of threatening to use violence against a government official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)). The state prosecutor proposed sentencing the defendants to imprisonment for a term of seven to 10 years, the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia reported today.

According to the prosecution, on October 29, 2023, the accused "at the Uytash airport in Makhachkala, on the basis of national and religious hatred and enmity towards Israeli citizens, refusing to comply with the legal demands of law enforcement officers, took part in mass riots accompanied by violence and destruction of property."

"The airport's property was destroyed and damaged to the amount of more than 24 million rubles, the requirements of transport and aviation security were violated, which led to a complete blocking of the airport's operations, the delay and cancellation of regular flights, and their redirection to other airports. Illegal actions were committed against 29 government officials, 23 of whom suffered bodily injuries of varying severity," the department's website said.

The report emphasizes that soon courts in the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories will begin hearing other criminal cases on the riots at the Makhachkala airport. "In particular, on July 23, the Ust-Labinsk District Court of the Krasnodar Territory will consider the issue of extending the preventive measure for eight residents of the Republic of Dagestan who have been charged with participating in the riots," the department added.

Yevgeny Ferder, 50, named as victim of Houthi drone attack on Tel Aviv
Follow up to this story and this one, both from yesterday.
[IsraelTimes] Ferder came to Israel from Belarus in 1999, served in Russia’s army and IDF, ‘loved playing ice hockey and soccer,’ says niece; he was killed in hostel where he lived and

Israeli authorities named Yevgeny Ferder as the man killed in a Iran's Houthi sock puppets
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him...
drone attack on Tel Aviv early Friday morning.

Ferder, 50, had moved on his own to Israel from Belarus in 1999, according to Hebrew media reports. He is survived by a niece in Israel and an older sister in Belarus.

"He was in the Russian army and loved playing ice hockey and soccer," Ferder’s niece Anastasia told the Ynet news site. After coming to Israel, she said Ferder joined the Israel Defense Force and served in a combat unit, and has continued serving as a reservist.

Ferder was killed and several others injured when an explosive-laden drone launched by Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels struck Tel Aviv at 3:12 a.m. on Friday. The drone took an unusual route, traversing Egypt and approaching Tel Aviv from the Mediterranean in the west. The army later said air-raid sirens did not sound, and the drone was not shot down, due to human error.

It struck adjacent to the building housing Momo’s Hostel, where Ferder lived and worked as a maintenance worker.

According to Haaretz, Ferder was born in 1974 in Novorossiysk, a Black Sea port city in southern Russia. He served two years in Russia’s military and worked as a truck driver before coming to Israel in 1999.

In Israel, he first lived in an absorption center in Tiberias, where he studied Hebrew while working in nearby Kibbutz Degania Bet. Later, he moved to Kiryat Gat to be near his father, who had come to Israel years earlier. Ferder’s mother had stayed in Russia. where she passed away.

After working at a factory in Kiryat Gat for some years, Ferder moved to Momo’s Hostel in Tel Aviv.

"I was his family here," Ferder’s niece told Ynet. "He wasn’t married, lived alone. We called each other every day, and would often get together."

The drone that killed Ferder was the first Houthi-launched drone to reach Tel Aviv.

The Iran-backed Yemeni rebels have launched over 200 drones and cruise missiles at Israel since November, according to the military. Along with Friday’s drone attack in Tel Aviv, a cruise missile struck near Eilat in March.

The IDF says the vast majority of the threats were intercepted by US forces and in a handful of cases by Israeli fighter jets and ground-based air defense systems.

Blinken: Iran one-two weeks away from producing enough material for nuclear weapon
And who enabled them to get there, pray tell?
[IsraelTimes] Top diplomat stresses Tehran has not yet produced a nuke, which would take longer; urges Iran to ‘pull back on work it’s been doing,’ says US ‘maximizing pressure across the board’

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken
...71st United States secretary of state and a leading light of the corrupt and inept Biden administration. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under the corrupt and inept Obama administration. He advocated for the 2003 invasion of Iraq while serving as the Democratic staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2002 to 2008. He was a foreign policy advisor for the Biden 2008 presidential campaign. During his tenure in the Obama administration, Blinken helped craft B.O.'s policy on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the nuclear program of Iran. We all saw how well each of those worked. After leaving government service, Blinken moved into the private sector, co-founding WestExec Advisors, a lobbying firm...
on Friday warned Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
can now produce the necessary fissile material for an atomic bomb in as little as a week or two, but has yet to take steps to assemble a weapon.

Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum, Blinken indicated he was not optimistic about the chances for reform in Iran despite the recent election of a relatively more moderate candidate, as Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...>
is still the one who "calls the shots."
Ya think?? The man’s a genius!
"When this administration came in, we tried to pursue again, nuclear diplomacy with Iran, because if you could at least take one problem off the board, which is Iran potentially with a nuclear weapon, that’s inherently a good thing," he said.
*Insert really, really rude comment here, using words I still don’t know*
Blinken blasted Donald Trump
...The Hero of Butler, Pennsylvania...
’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, which the former president defended in his speech to the Republican National Convention Thursday night, saying Tehran "was broke" when he was in office but is now "very close to having a nuclear weapon." Blinken, however, seemed to argue it was Trump’s approach that led to Iran being on the cusp of nuclear breakout capabilities.
That’s a really large load of really stinky fecal matter.
"Instead of being at least a year away from having the breakout capacity of producing fissile material for a nuclear weapon, it is now probably one or two weeks away from doing that," he said, clarifying that Iran has not yet produced a weapon itself, which would take far more time.
They already have the missiles to carry the warheads, so it won’t be as long as all that, especially given they have North Korean and Russian help.
Blinken reiterated that the US would not allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon, adding the administration still prefers a diplomatic route to preventing this scenario.

"What we need to see, if Iran is serious about engaging, is actually pulling back on the work that it’s been doing on his program."
Why would you imagine such a thing is even possible?
"Second, we have been maximizing pressure on Iran across the board. We’ve imposed more than 600 sanctions on Iranian persons and entities. We haven’t lifted a single sanction," he asserted.
But first you gave them billions and removed all the old sanctions.
Since the collapse of the 2015 nuclear deal with world powers following the US’s unilateral withdrawal from the accord in 2018, Iran has pursued nuclear enrichment just below weapons-grade levels. Western powers say there is no credible civilian reason for that. Iran says its aims are entirely peaceful, but officials have recently said the Islamic republic could change its "nuclear doctrine" if it is attacked or its existence is seen as threatened by Israel. That has prompted alarm at the ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency and in Western capitals.

Reports last month before the presidential election indicated Iran’s leadership was considering whether to go ahead with producing a nuclear weapon. Iranian president-elect Masoud Pezeshkian, who Blinken referred to Friday, has called for "constructive relations" with Western countries to "get Iran out of its isolation" and favors reviving the 2015 deal.
…a “deal” — a word to provide cover for a treaty negotiated between the Mad Mullahs and the Obama administration that they had no intention of submitting to the Senate for the legally required validation — designed by the Obama administration to give Iran cover while they secretly worked toward nuclear weapons.
Amid recent concerns, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was said to reestablish a series of working groups last month to deal with Iran’s nuclear program.

Zaur Magomedov's Relatives Claim Evidence Was Falsified
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] Security forces planted evidence during a search of the home of builder Zaur Magomedov, who is accused of involvement in militant attacks in Derbent and Makhachkala, his relatives said. The conclusion of a visit to Magomedov in a pretrial detention center, during which he spoke about torture, was sent to the prosecutor's office, the chairman of the Public Monitoring Commission of Dagestan said. As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, Zaur Magomedov, who was arrested in connection with the militant attack in Derbent and Makhachkala, stated that he had been tortured and said that he had nothing to do with what happened, the head of the Public Monitoring Commission of Dagestan reported. don’t even speak the same language as the working class anymore, which helps explain why the head of the Teamsters Union spoke at the Republican convention — for the first time ever — saying how Trump "truly cares about working people." (To which the Democrats responded with anger and a sense of betrayal, as though they own union workers.)

Biden has been reduced to buying votes with hundreds of billions of dollars in borrowed money, and has been reduced to calling anyone who isn’t sufficiently woke a fascist
...anybody you disagree with, damn them...
Today’s Democratic Party is so devoid of talent that it handed the nomination to an 81-year-old who can barely put two words together. Democrats are now running around like Keystone Cops trying to find their way out of this mess — faced with the even more dismal prospect of nominating the supremely unqualified Kámala Harris
Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, then a senatrix from California former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful, and Joe Biden's wing nut...
To sum up, the Democratic Party is ripe for the taking.

The second reason that Democrats may be on the road to ruin is Trump’s pick for his running mate.

In an editorial this week, we said that Trump’s decision to tap J.D. Vance for the job was a political "masterstroke."

But it also shows that Trump learned from history. He is thinking less about this election and more about the ones to come. Like a good executive, Trump is grooming the next generation of leaders who can carry his vision forward.

True, Vance was once a never-Trumper. But he came to realize that he and Trump were aligned on all the important issues long before Trump selected him. That’s in stark contrast to H. W. Bush, who pledged to support Reagan’s agenda only if Reagan named him as his running mate.

At the Republican National Convention earlier this week, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recounted how the Democratic Party in his state now "lies in ruins, the left is in retreat," for which his bold leadership deserves credit. "Electing Donald Trump
...The Hero of Butler, Pennsylvania...
," he said, "gives us the chance to do this all across America."

He’s right, and Trump is off to a good start.

His decision to place Vance — a millennial who is just 39 years old — on the ticket could turn out to be one of the wisest of his career, if indeed it does usher in an era of unbroken conservative governorship.

Of course, anything can happen. Trump could lose the election. His second term could be a disaster. Vance could fall to some catastrophic scandal.

But at the very least, conservatives for the first time in decades have a reason to hope that a century of losing ground to the left may finally be coming to an end.

The content is Joe Biden who *is* nominally an adult, so it is adult content, in a sense.
What kind of algorithms? Top Algorithms.

Not if they don't understand that the problem is not Democratic Party but the Globalist ideology originating in EUrope and adopted by American "elites". It's, sorta, like Catholicism in 17th century Britain.

Trump's Triumph At The RNC Suggests Something Bigger Than Politics Is Unfolding In America
[THEFEDERALIST] It’s difficult to describe historical moments as they’re unfolding, but let me hazard a few initial observations about former President Donald Trump
...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down....
’s speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night.

Watching a presidential candidate (and former president) describe his near-liquidation less than a week after a bullet came within millimeters of ending his life is quite simply the most captivating, awe-inspiring thing that has ever happened at a political convention in this country.

#6  Yeah, they'll try again for sure. Once you've crossed the Rubicon like this, there's no going back.
Next time will be bigger, and messy. A truck bomb, like the one that destroyed the FBI headquarters that commanded the Waco massacre, two years to the day afterwards.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Georgia man arrested and charged for posting death threats online against FBI director
A reminder to us all lest we forget
[JustTheNews] A Georgia man was arrested on Thursday and faces two felony changes for issuing death threats against FBI Director Christopher Wray.

John Woodbury, 34, allegedly posted threats online last year that urged violence against Wray.

One charge is for making the threats online and the other is for threatening a federal law enforcement officer.
NBC News adds:
"Let’s show them what a f---ing ‘Nazi’... looks like," Woodbury allegedly wrote in a post on 4chan on June 7. "It’s time to burn these mother f---ers down and hang them from trees. Hit them where it f---ing hurts. Hit Chris at his home. Make his family fear stepping one foot outside their god damn door."

HUMOR

Besides, wouldn't hanging any person from a tree be an EPA violation?

I've seen quite a few of those and no arrests, wtf?

Small city branded 'America's jihad capital' descends into civil war - as locals reveal why they...
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] … detest both Biden AND Trump ahead of election.
Oh no! Anyway…
A city labeled 'America's jihad capital' by the Wall Street Journal has become fiercely divided over the war in Gaza - as residents refuse to vote for either candidate in the presidential election.

Dearborn, a small city near Detroit, Michigan, is home to America's largest Arab American community.

The mood amongst locals has significantly switched as the death toll in Gaza continues to mount - with little indication of a political solution in the near future.

Residents of Dearborn believe America's political leaders are playing a major role in enabling the suffering caused by ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Their apathy towards the upcoming election is dwindling by the day.

Abu Bilal, owner of Oriental Fashion - a clothing store on Dearborn's Warren Avenue, demanded to know 'where is the humanity' as he discussed the killings of 90 Palestinian civilians with The Guardian.
