The speech was bitter, and vindictive — as much of Raskin's rhetoric has been about Trump, even before he took office.

[JUSTTHENEWS] The Georgia State Election Board (SEB) on Monday adopted a rule that requires the number of ballots and voters be the same before the certification of election results.
The rule ensures that counties comply with Georgia state code. It comes after Fulton County was found to have likely scanned thousands of ballots twice in a recount of the 2020 election.
"The purpose of the rule is to ensure that county superintendents and boards of elections follow the required procedures and can uniformly, properly, and lawfully fulfill their duties, and reconcile the number of ballots to the number of voters so that certification of election results accurately reflects the will of the voters in every county," the rule reads.
''The rule is built on basic, kindergarten math,'' Election Integrity Network Founder Cleta Mitchell said Monday. ''Count the number of voters, confirm that the number of voters match the number of ballots. Those numbers should match and should be the same as the number of votes tabulated. The duty for election officials to certify CORRECT results is required under the statute. The rule just makes sure it happens in every county.''
''If election officials want the American people to become election BELIEVERS again, these are the important procedures that must be made part of the election process in Georgia and every other state,'' she added.

And what about computerized voting machines? How do we know for sure they are recording the votes correctly? We don't. We cannot possibly know for sure. And we never will. This new rule sounds like nothing but window dressing.

It’s a crude first step, and puts a stop to certification if the steal becomes too blatant.
And at the other end, voter rolls are being cleaned up in more states. It’ll never be perfect — political party machines have been buying votes since Colonial times — but it removes the ability of the courts to avoid intervening before certification because of a too-strict application of standing to complain.

An NGO was outed last month by the folks at Geekthevote. What the NGO was doing was checking drivers license roles against the registered voter rolls. Then they would do an address change on the drivers license to the NGO address and register them as a democrat. Once registered, they would change the address back, and the driver is completely unaware. It was found in GA, Minnesota, and I think in Penn. The total the Geeks found was over 1 million total. They caught it because they had 800k going to just three addresses...

[KTLA] A man who had been one of Ohio’s “most wanted” fugitives for nearly 20 years is in custody.
Antonio Riano had been wanted for the shooting death of Benjamin Becarra, 25, in Butler County, Ohio, in 2004.
On August 1, U.S. Marshals arrested Riano in his hometown of Zapotitlan Palmas, State of Oaxaca, Mexico, where he was working as a police officer, according to a press release.
Whew! From the headline I assumed he was an American policeman.
Riano made his first court appearance in Ohio on Monday, where he was ordered held without bond.
Riano, now 72, was profiled on the “America’s Most Wanted” television series in 2005.
Police said Riano shot Becerra in the face following an argument inside and then outside of the Round House bar in Hamilton on the afternoon of Dec. 19, 2004, according to FOX 19.
“This type of apprehension would not be possible without the cooperation and due diligence of both the Prosecutor’s Office investigators, the United States Marshal Service, and the United States Department of Justice,” said Michael T. Gmoser, Butler County prosecutor in a press release.
The Butler County Prosecutor’s Office teamed up with the U.S. Marshals Service and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of International Affairs who worked with law enforcement partners in Mexico to secure Riano’s arrest and extradition.
Riano is due back in court later this month.
According to Butler County Jail records, Riano is being held on two charges of murder and one count of felony assault.

People need to stop overreacting about Kamala’s plan to reduce food inflation, as if it would lead to communism, mass starvation, and the end of America.
I worked in M&A in the food industry. Here’s a step-by-step summary of what would actually happen:
1. The government announces that grocery retailers aren’t allowed to raise prices.
2. Grocery stores, which operate on 1-2% net margins, can’t survive if their suppliers raise prices. So the government announces that food producers (Kraft Heinz, ConAgra, Tyson, Hormel, et. al.) also aren’t allowed to raise prices.
3. Not all grocery stores are created equal. Stores in lower-income areas make less money than those in higher-income areas, as the former disproportionately sell lower-margin prepackaged foods (“center of the store”) instead of higher-margin fresh products like meat (“perimeter of the store”). Because stores in lower-income areas aren’t able to cover overhead (remember, even if their wholesale costs are fixed, their labor, utilities, insurance, and other operating expenses aren’t fixed… yet), grocery chains start to shut them down. Food deserts in rural areas and in low-income urban areas alike become worse.
4. Meanwhile, margins for food producers are also quickly eroding. Their primary costs (ingredients, energy, and labor) aren’t fixed, and their shrinking gross profits leave less cash flow available to cover overhead, maintain facilities, and reinvest in additional production capacity.
5. Grocery chains, which have finite shelf space, start to repurpose their stores (those they didn’t have to shut down, I should say) to sell more non-price-controlled items—everything from nutrition supplements to kitchenware to apparel—and less price-controlled food products. Your local Kroger or Safeway starts to look and feel more like a Walmart.
6. Food producers stop making products with lower margins. Grocery chain start competing with each other to secure inventory. Since they can’t compete by offering stronger prices (remember, producers aren’t allowed to raise prices here, and, even if they could, grocery chains no longer have the gross profit to bear price increases), they compete on things like payment terms.
7. Small grocery chains start to shut down entirely, or get sold to larger chains like Kroger. In addition to not being able to cover fixed costs, a major reason for this is because they can no longer reliably secure delivery of products, due to producers prioritizing sales to larger customers, which are able to leverage their stronger balance sheets to offer superior payment terms.
8. Smaller food producers—which typically sell via distributors, rather than directly to grocery chains—start to go out of business. Because these producers have an additional step their value chains, and because they have lower volumes over which to spread their fixed costs, their cost structure is inherently disadvantaged compared to major food producers. When grocery stores aren’t able to raise prices, cutting product costs becomes all the more important, and deprioritizing purchases from smaller producers is an easy way to do so.
9. As supply chains break down, lines start to form outside grocery stores every morning. Cities assign police officers to patrol store parking lots, and food producers draft contingency plans to assign armed escorts to delivery trucks.
10. The federal government announces a program to issue block grants for states to purchase and operate shuttered grocery stores. The USDA also seizes closed-down production facilities.
11. The government announces that prices for all key food costs—corn, wheat, cattle, energy, etc.—are also now fixed, to stop “profiteers” from gouging the now-government-operated food industry.
12. Shockingly, the government struggles to operate one of the most complex industries on the planet. The entire food supply chain starts imploding.
13. Communism, mass starvation, and the end of America quickly ensue.

Harley-Davidson had faced grumblings for years from longtime customers, including hard-core bikers, who claimed that the Milwaukee-based company "used" them to build its "bad—s" brand, then abandoned them as the motorcycle’s popularity expanded to upscale riders.

Harley-Davidson’s statement noted that the company was “saddened by the negativity on social media over the last few weeks, designed to divide the Harley-Davidson community.”
Starbuck responded to the criticism: “They can be saddened all they want. I got the changes we wanted, but we still want the CEO [Jochen Zeitz] gone, too,” he said.
“He’s a true believer, and we’ll keep constant tabs on their internal business,” said Starbuck.
“In his elite social circles, this move will not be popular. His world does not include bikers. This statement sounds like a board decision and not his decision. I’d be surprised if he was OK with this decision.”

Harley, like most corporations in America, operate on a line of credit for operating capitol. Its just business in America. The banks, being blackmailed by the World Bank, force the DEI scores as the way to adjust interest rated for the capitol. Thus forcing businesses to take on DEI policies. The World Bank will set the rates to non compliant companies at rates they can not continue operating at.

If the Harris campaign had any hopes that Joe would let them get distance from his record, they were dashed. ''When I say we I mean Kamala and me,'' he emphasized, reminding voters that there's no turning the page by voting for Harris.
Biden tried to play the old hits, but they ring hollow now. He talked about Charlottesville and how he claims Trump as president ''emboldened'' and praised anti-Semites. ''Hate has no safe harbor'' in America, he says. But we saw how anti-Semites have safe harbors — literal encampments on college campuses, immune from the law — in Joe Biden's America. Biden even said of the pro-Hamas ..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",... protestors, ''Those protesters out in the street. They've got a point.

Just days after Tim Walz ...Kamala's smarmy-looking running mate, governor of Minnesota. One man's socialism is another man's neighborliness.... pledged that Democrats wouldn’t call their opponents names, Biden called Trump a "loser," a "liar," a "felon," and a "sucker."

They expect us to nod along, knowing it’s not true.
Of course, the pretense of one big happy family had to be maintained. Biden denied that he was angry at the Democrats who forced him off the ticket. Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments... stood in the front row holding a "We Love Joe" sign, just weeks after wielding the knife. She came to bury Joe, not to praise him.
Biden stayed mostly on script, leaning on the prepared text to keep him from wandering off. But he was shouty and glowering as a result. By the end, nobody would wonder why Democrats decided they needed to dump this guy.
The amazing thing is that they made it as far as July pretending he was up to the job.
