Israel-Palestine-Jordan
IDF: Bomb planted by terror operatives exploded near Gaza aid convoy, wounding 6 kids
[IsraelTimes] The IDF says an explosive device planted by terror operatives exploded near a humanitarian aid convoy in the northern Gaza Strip yesterday, wounding six children at a nearby hospital.

According to the IDF, the convoy was enabling the evacuation of patients and staff from the Kamal Adwan and al-Awda hospitals to other hospitals in northern Gaza. It was also bringing humanitarian aid to the hospitals.

“As the convoy passed by the Kamal Adwan Hospital, a report was received from the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the detonation of an explosive device, only a few hundred meters away from the hospital. As a result of the explosion, the convoy was hit by shrapnel,” the IDF says.

There were no injuries among the convoy’s personnel, but the IDF says that “following an assessment by COGAT with hospital officials, six children in the hospital were injured by the explosion.”

Damage was also caused to the roof and courtyard of the hospital by the blast, according to the military.

“The terrorist organizations continue to exploit civilian infrastructure, medical facilities and international aid organizations for their terror activities,” the IDF says.

“The IDF and COGAT will continue to operate in accordance with international law to transfer humanitarian and medical aid to the Gaza Strip,” it adds.

IDF says it killed PIJ operative who took part in Kfar Aza massacre on Oct. 7

[IsraelTimes] An Israeli airstrike has taken out a Palestinian Islamic Jihad military intelligence official who took part in the October 7, 2023, massacre in the Israeli community of Kfar Aza, the IDF says.

The military says Ahmed Al-Dalu has additionally been involved in the planning and carrying out of terror actions against Israeli citizens throughout the war.

He was killed in an Air Force strike along with another terror operative, the army says.

Meanwhile, the 162nd and 252nd divisions are continuing to operate throughout the Strip and have killed many terror operatives in close-quarters combat and by directing airstrikes, the IDF says, adding that forces have also destroyed terror infrastructure.

Troops from the Nahal Brigade are operating in Rafah in Gaza’s south and eliminating many operatives, the army adds. In the past day, they directed an airstrike on a terror cell that was hiding in a military building housing mines meant to harm Israeli soldiers. The strike killed the cell and destroyed the mines.

Report: Muhammad Sinwar acting as de facto head of Hamas military wing
Good to know.
[IsraelTimes] Yahya Sinwar’s brother Muhammad has been operating as the de facto leader of Hamas’s military wing in Gaza, alongside a small council of top commanders, the Kan public broadcaster reports.

There was no formal appointment of Muhammad Sinwar by Hamas, which has yet to confirm the death of its former military wing chief Muhammad Deif, who Israel says it killed in a July airstrike.

PM formally asks AG to probe other leaks from wartime security cabinet meetings
[IsraelTimes] In the midst of an investigation into leaks of top secret documents from his office, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sends a letter to Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara asking her to look into separate leaks from cabinet meetings throughout the war.

“Since the beginning of the war,” he writes, “we have been witness to a never-ending flood of serious leaks and revealing state secrets.”

Netanyahu writes that the leaks come from cabinet meetings, the national security cabinet, hostage negotiators, and other settings at which no members of the government had been present.

“Till now,” he writes, “despite my repeated requests that these leaks be investigated and an end be put to them, nothing has been done.”

He says that Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar told him on Saturday that there must be an official request for an investigation.

Netanyahu includes a secret appendix listing leaks that he says were not investigated.

Parts of the PMO’s defense around the ongoing investigation is that, while other leaks were not investigated, those that could harm the prime minister are being investigated aggressively.

But the current investigation is not about just about a mere leak, rather the alleged theft of classified intelligence and its distortion by Netanyahu’s aides in order to influence public opinion regarding a potential hostage deal. Moreover, the main suspect in the ongoing Shin Bet probe allegedly gained access to classified intelligence despite having failed a security background check.

Theft of sensitive IDF intel, transfer to ‘people at PMO’ was ‘systematic’ – report

[IsraelTimes] Bild’s report on one such document said to pose ongoing threat to soldiers, hostages in Gaza by exposing sources; 4 suspects said to serve in IDF unit tasked with preventing leaks.

Anti-Israel protesters occupy French soccer federation building in Paris
[IsraelTimes] National team set to play France next week in Paris, sparking protests calling for cancellation; local media says demonstrators calmly evacuated by police

Anti-Israel protesters staged a sit-in Monday at the French soccer federation to call for the cancellation of a Nations League game between La Belle France and Israel later this month.

Video footage posted on social media and circulating in French media showed protesters inside the federation’s headquarters in Gay Paree lying on the floor or holding placards with political slogans and Paleostinian flags.

Some protesters also chanted: "No, no, no to the La Belle France-Israel game at the Stade de La Belle France."
Really? What a stupid chant. Make it rhyme, at least
The French soccer federation did not immediately respond to a request for comments from The News Agency that Dare Not be Named.

According to local media, the demonstrators were calmly evacuated by police.

French authorities confirmed last month that the match would go ahead with fans allowed in the stadium after Italia hosted Israel in the same competition without incident despite security concerns.

The November 14 match at the Stade de La Belle France will be played against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which was sparked on October 7 of last year, when thousands of Hamas

Since the war began last year, Israel has played all home games and some away games in Budapest’s Boszik Arena after UEFA said playing in Israel was too dangerous.

Israel’s match against Italia last month was the first match the country has played outside Hungary this year, including a game against Belgium in the Nations League after the Belgian Football Association refused to host the game for security reasons.

Fifth Column
Three indicted for anti-Israel vandalism of Brooklyn Museum officials’ homes
[IsraelTimes] ‘These are not protests; they are hate crimes’: Vandals charged with terroristic threat, criminal mischief for smearing red paint on homes of officials with Jewish-sounding names

Three people have been indicted on hate crimes charges in connection with red paint that was smeared on the homes of Brooklyn Museum officials during a wave of pro-Paleostinian, anti-Israel protests this summer, prosecutors announced Monday.

Taylor Pelton, Samuel Seligson and Gabriel Schubiner, all of New York, face a range of charges including making a terroristic threat as a hate crime, criminal mischief as a hate crime, making graffiti, possession of graffiti instruments and conspiracy.

Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said the three — along with others who have not yet been arrested — specifically targeted members of the museum’s board of directors with Jewish-sounding names in the early morning hours of June 12.

Among the homes vandalized were those of the museum’s director, Anne Pasternak, its president and chief operating officer, Kimberly Trueblood,
…I had no idea Kimberly is a Jewish name…
and board chair Barbara Vogelstein.

"These defendants allegedly targeted museum board members with threats and antisemitic graffiti based on their perceived heritage," Gonzalez said in a statement. "These actions are not protests; they are hate crimes."

Using red paint, the vandals scrawled phrases such as "Brooklyn Museum, blood on your hands" and hung banners with the names of the board members, along with phrases including "blood on your hands, war crimes, funds genocide" and "White Supremacist Zionist," according to prosecutors.

Homes of the director and multiple board members of @brooklynmuseum —including one home on the Upper East Side—were vandalized last night.

The banners also included red handprints, anarchy symbols and inverted red triangles akin to those used by Hamas
..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
to mark its targets.

Prosecutors say the vandals spray-painted security cameras so they couldn’t be identified as they defaced the properties, but were captured in other surveillance video carrying supplies to and from Pelton’s vehicle.

They also said a stencil found at one of the locations had a fingerprint covered in red paint that was identified as Schubiner’s.

Schubiner, who is 36 years old and lives in Brooklyn, was arraigned Monday and released without bail. Seligson, 32, also of Brooklyn, and Pelton, 28, of Queens, are expected to be arraigned next week.

Schubiner and Pelton are each charged with 25 counts, whereas Seligson faces 17, according to prosecutors. The most serious charge the three face is making a terroristic threat as a hate crime.

Lawyers for the three didn’t immediately respond to emails seeking comment on Monday.

Seligson’s attorney, Leena Widdi, has said her client is an independent videographer and was acting in his capacity as a credentialed member of the media. She described the hate crime charges as an "appalling" overreach by law enforcement officials.

Pelton’s attorney, Moira Meltzer-Cohen, has criticized the arrest as an example of the "increasing trend of characterizing Paleostine solidarity actions as hate crimes."

Hundreds of protesters marched on the Brooklyn Museum in May, briefly setting up tents in the lobby and unfurling a "Free Paleostine" banner from the roof before police moved in to make dozens of arrests. Organizers of that demonstration said the museum was "deeply invested in and complicit" in Israel’s military actions in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
— where it is battling the Hamas terror group — through its leadership, trustees, corporate sponsors and donors — a claim museum officials have denied.
The march on museum was a project of Within Our Lifetime, one of the many tentacles of the pro-Hamas section of Antifa

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iranian Official: Tajik and Afghan suicide bombers entering Iran as fuel carriers
[KhaamaPress] Mohammad Pakpour, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) ground forces in Iran, has attributed the rise in insecurity in the country to "foreign nationals," claiming that " citizens of Tajikistan and Afghanistan jacket wallahs disguised as fuel carriers" are entering Iran.

According to a report from Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the IRGC, Pakpour made these statements during a gathering of tribal leaders in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

He emphasized that enemy intelligence services are conducting meetings in certain regional countries, delegating terrorist groups to destabilize the area.

Pakpour further asserted that "the mercenary gunnies operating in the region are not Iranians" and are committing acts of terrorism against Iranian citizens using falsified identification documents.

He claimed that "enemies’ mercenaries, by their own admissions, cross the border disguised as fuel carriers; 18 citizens of Tajikistan and Afghanistan nationals killed in Rasak, Chabahar, and Parud operations were suicide bombers."

This comes amid ongoing unrest in eastern Iran, where predominantly Sunni and Baluch minorities reside, exacerbated since the onset of the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement.

The "Bloody Friday" incident in Zahedan was one of the most violent mostly peaceful events, resulting in the deaths and injuries of over 100 protesters, mostly from the Sunni community.

The eastern regions of Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
share borders with Afghanistan and Pakistain, both considered among the most insecure countries in the region. Several recent security incidents in this area have been claimed by the Jaish al-Adl group, which organizes its attacks from Pakistain.

The Iranian government’s narrative surrounding foreign involvement in domestic insecurity reflects a broader strategy to divert attention from internal issues and social unrest.

mortar attack Sunday on their base inside the perimeters of Mogadishu’s international airport.

A statement by the head of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) and Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission Mohammed El-Amine Souef condemned the attack on the facility known as the Halane Base Camp.

It’s believed that a 107mm rocket was used for the attack. At least four mortar rounds were reportedly fired during the attack.

"The heinous attack will not deter us and the Somali security forces from pursuing lasting peace and in Somalia," Souef said in the statement posted on X, formerly Twitter. "We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to combat terrorism and build a peaceful and prosperous Somalia."

The statement did not specify the nationality of the soldiers killed, but an AU official told VOA’s Horn of Africa that the soldiers who were killed and the one soldier injured are Ugandans.

"ATMIS extends its deepest sympathies and condolences to the families, friends, and relatives of those who bit the dust and wishes a quick recovery to those injured during the attack," Souef said.

The AU big shotship team later visited the site of the blasts.

The al-Shabaab turban group grabbed credit for the attack.

In a statement posted on one of its websites, the group claimed the mortars killed "white and black officers."

Despite being driven out of Mogadishu in 2011, the group, from time to time, manages to carry out mortar attacks that hit Mogadishu’s airport, which is a base for the AU as well as some foreign embassies.

Al-Shabaab mortars have also targeted residential areas in Mogadishu and have claimed the lives of civilians.

[IsraelTimes] Eight facing judge on terror charges; main focus of trial is father of Muslim pupil and founder of pro-Hamas group who spread information against Samuel Paty

Eight people are going on trial in Gay Paree on terrorism charges Monday over the beheading of teacher Samuel Paty, who was killed by an Islamic krazed killer after showing caricatures of Islam’s prophet to his middle school students for a lesson on freedom of expression.

Paty’s shocking death left an imprint on La Belle France, and several schools are now named after him. Paty was killed outside his school near Gay Paree on October 16, 2020, by an 18-year-old Russian of Chechen origin, who was shot to death by police.

Those on trial include friends of assailant Abdoullakh Anzorov
… 26, the vicious petty criminal from Chechnya whose asylum request had just been renewed for another decade when he cut off the head of local teacher, just because he was asked. Among his many personal connections was known wolf Armand Rajabpour-Miyandoab, the Iranian-Frenchman who a year ago geared up with knife and hammer to attack tourists near the Eiffel Tower in a classic case of Sudden Jihad Syndrome. Both miscreants swore fealty to ISIS before heading out for their grisly work, though only Mr. Anzorov sent a video of the event to a dear friend in Idlib. The Moslem colonists who aided and abetted Mr. Anzorov’s project didn’t bother — just being Muslim was good enough for them…
who allegedly helped purchase weapons for the attack, as well as people who are accused of spreading false information online about the teacher and his class.

The attack occurred against a backdrop of protests in many Moslem countries and calls online for violence targeting La Belle France and the satirical French newspaper Charlie Hebdo
...Pix/charlieHebdo.jpgA lefty French satirical magazine, home of what may well be the majority if the active testicles left in Europe...
. The newspaper had republished its caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad a few weeks before Paty’s death to mark the opening of the trial over deadly 2015 attacks on its newsroom by Islamic krazed killers.

The cartoon images deeply offended many Moslems, who saw them as sacrilegious. But the fallout from Paty’s killing reinforced the French state’s commitment to freedom of expression and its firm attachment to secularism in public life.

Much attention at the trial will focus on Brahim Chnina,
…52, Moroccan, may or may not have a half sister who emigrated to ISIS in Syria in 2014, but who definitely has connected friends...
the Moslem father of a 13-year-old girl who claimed that she had been excluded from Paty’s class when he showed the caricatures on October 5, 2020.

Chnina sent a series of messages to his contacts denouncing Paty, saying that "this sick man" needed to be fired, along with the address of the school in the Gay Paree suburb of Conflans Saint-Honorine.

In reality, Chnina’s daughter had lied to him and had never attended the lesson in question.

Paty was giving a Moral and Civic Education lesson mandated by the National Education Ministry on freedom of expression. He discussed the caricatures in this context, saying students who did not wish to see them could temporarily leave the classroom.

An online campaign against Paty snowballed, and 11 days after the lesson, Anzorov attacked the teacher with a knife as he walked home, and displayed the teacher’s head on social media. Police later shot Anzorov as he advanced towards them armed.

Chnina will be tried for alleged association with a terrorist enterprise for targeting the 47-year-old teacher through false information.

His daughter was tried last year in a juvenile court and given an 18-month suspended sentence. Four other students at Paty’s school were found guilty of involvement and given suspended sentences; a fifth, who pointed out Paty to Anzorov in exchange for money, was given a 6-month term with an electronic bracelet.

Abdelhakim Sefrioui
…65, Franco-Moroccan…
is another key figure in the trial opening Monday for the adult suspects. He presented himself as a spokesperson for Imams of La Belle France, although he had been dismissed from that role. He filmed a video in front of the school with the father of the student. He referred to the teacher as a "thug" multiple times and sought to pressure the school administration via social media.

Sefrioui founded the pro-Hamas
..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,...
Cheikh Yassine Collective in 2004,
…another branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, or just the usual Islamist solidarity?
which was dissolved a few days after Paty’s killing. Sefrioui had long criticized and threatened Moslems who advocate friendship with Jews, including the rector of the Grand Mosque of Gay Paree.

Sefrioui and Chnina face 30 years in prison if convicted.

Chnina denied any incitement to "kill" in his messages and video, claiming he did not intend to incite hatred and violence, according to judicial documents.

Sefrioui’s lawyers have said they would seek his acquittal, and that the video filmed by Sefrioui in front of the school was not seen by the terrorist.

Anzorov, who had wanted to go to Syria to fight with Islamic murderous Moslems there, discovered Paty’s name on jihadist social media channels, according to Sherlocks. Anzorov lived 100 kilometers (60 miles) from Paty’s school and did not know the teacher.

Two of Anzorov’s friends face life imprisonment if convicted on charges of complicity in murder in connection with a terrorist enterprise. Naim Boudaoud
…22…
and Azim Epsirkhanov
…23, Chechnyan…
are accused of helping Anzorov buy a knife and a pellet gun. Boudaoud also drove Anzorov to Paty’s school. They turned themselves in at the cop shoppe, and deny being aware of the attacker’s intentions.

The other four individuals are charged with criminal terrorist conspiracy for communicating with the killer on pro-jihad Snapchat groups. They all deny being aware of the intent to kill Samuel Paty. One of them sent smiling emojis after the decapitated teacher’s head was shared.

On October 13, 2023, another teacher in LaBelle France was killed by a radical Islamist from Russia, originally from Ingushetia, a region bordering Chechnya.
The Daily Mail has more, courtesy of Skidmark, including a courtroom sketch of the miscreants, adding:
Four other defendants interacted with Anzorov online.

Yusuf Cinar, a 22-year-old Turkish national, shared a jihadist Snapchat account with him, that later published images of Paty's killing.

Ismail Gamaev, a 22-year-old Russian of Chechen origin with refugee status, and Louqmane Ingar, also 22, exchanged jihadist content on a Snapchat group with Anzorov. The first posted an image of Paty's head with smiley faces after the killing.

The only woman on trial is 36-year-old Priscilla Mangel, a Muslim convert who conversed with Paty's killer on X, describing the teacher's class as 'an example of the war waged by (France's) Republican institutions against Muslims'.

Six former secondary school pupils were sentenced in December 2023 to terms ranging from 14 months suspended to six months in prison, following a closed-door trial before the juvenile court. Those sentenced to prison, however, will not serve jail time.

#4  From AoS a moment ago:
"If you fill in the bubble for Trump, the computer might -- probably will -- also detect a vote for Harris, and discard your ballot as an "overvote."

Look for a tiny mark in the Harris bubble. If you see one, lodge a complaint and demand a clean ballot.

Kathy Barnette @Kathy4Truth
This just happened.

ALERT: Check your ballot *BEFORE* you vote.

Zoom in on the picture below👇🏾

Do you see the tiny DOT next to Harris/Walz's name? 😳

I walked into my voting location this morning like "Norm" on Cheers - everybody knows my name❤️

As I'm chating to the official poll workers who sit right outside the door where you cast your vote, they tap on the desk and show me the attached photo.👇🏾

She says, "When you get your ballot and if you see that little dot," as she pointed to the tiny little "dot" next to Harris/Walz's name, "ask for a new ballot."

"WHAT!?" I gasped.

I said, "Are you telling everyone this as they walk in?"

She said, "We're trying to."

Cynthia Yockey @conservativelez
The way this ballot scam works is that the dot in the box for Harris is covered up if you vote for her, but if you vote for Trump it counts as an over-voted ballot so it be marked as spoiled and won't count

Obviously you can't vote for Harris and Trump for president, so if a ballot already has a little dot marked for Harris, your vote gets tossed."

Ukraine fires at North Korean troops deployed near Russian border in first skirmish with new foreign fighters
[NY Post] Ukrainian soldiers battled North Korean troops along the Russian border on Monday, the first skirmish since the foreign fighters were deployed to help Moscow’s forces in Kursk, officials said.

Andriy Kovalenko, of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, claimed that some of the 10,000 North Korean troops sent to Russia are now active in Kursk, where Kyiv holds several cities after mounting a surprise counter-invasion earlier this year.

"The first North Korean troops have already come under fire in the Kursk region," Kovalenko wrote on Telegram without elaborating further.

Lightning strike kills Peruvian soccer player during live TV match in distressing scene
[NY Post] Of course there's awesome video.
Horrifying live TV coverage of a Peruvian soccer match caught the moment several players were knocked to the ground by lightning — with one killed in a direct strike.

The footage showed players and refs slowly walking off the field at Coto Coto stadium in Chilca when Sunday’s game between Juventud Bellavista and Familia Chocca was suspended in the first half because of the storm warning, according to the Telegraph.

With a sudden crack, at least eight players fell forward like tipped dominoes — with a flash directly hitting two of them on the right of the screen.

Jose Hugo de la Cruz Meza, a 39-year-old defender, was killed, while goalkeeper Juan Chocca Llacta, 40, was rushed to a local hospital with severe burns.

Two teenagers and a 24-year-old man were also injured, but are listed as being in stable condition, reports said.

De La Cruz Meza may have taken the killer strike because of his bracelet, officials believe.

"It was like a magnet," said Cesar Ramos, who is in charge of the area’s civil defense.

Photos later captured scorch marks on the field near where the players landed, the outlet said.

Boeing factory workers vote to accept contract and end more than 7-week strike
[NY Post] Unionized machinists at Boeing voted Monday to accept a contract offer and end their strike after more than seven weeks, clearing the way for the aerospace giant to resume production of its bestselling airliner and generate much-needed cash.

Leaders of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers district in Seattle said 59% of members who cast ballots agreed to approve the company’s fourth formal offer and the third put to a vote.

The deal includes pay raises of 38% over four years, and ratification and productivity bonuses.

However, Boeing refused to meet strikers’ demand to restore a company pension plan that was frozen nearly a decade ago.

The contract’s ratification on the eve of Election Day clears the way for a major US manufacturer and government contractor to restart Pacific Northwest assembly lines that the factory workers’ walkout have idled for 53 days.

North Korea fires barrage of missiles into the sea before US election
[NY Post] Pay attention to meeee!
North Korea fired a barrage of short-range ballistic missiles into the sea on Tuesday, its neighbors said, as it continued its weapons demonstrations hours before the U.S. presidential election.

Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani said at least seven North Korean missiles flew as far as 400 kilometers (250 miles) with a maximum altitude of 100 kilometers (60 miles).

He said they landed in the waters between the Korean Peninsula and Japan.
"We aimed for the sea, and we hit it!"
“North Korea’s actions, including a series of repeated missile launches, threaten the peace and safety of Japan, the region and the international community,” Nakatani said.

South Korea’s military also detected several missile launches by North Korea and subsequently boosted its surveillance posture.

Better Stop Making Jokes About Your New Overloard
[Gatestone]Biden-Harris Administration Surreptitiously Signs Up for UN World Governance, Internet Censorship
  • On September 22, unnoticed by most Americans, the Biden-Harris administration adopted the United Nations Pact for the Future to transform global governance, which introduces the foundations of a world government. There was no debate, no media coverage, no press releases, and no interviews about the Biden-Harris administration's surrender of United States sovereignty to the UN.

  • These agreements usher in a dystopian future, where the UN -- an active supporter of terrorism and arguably the world's most corrupt international entity... in partnership with the unelected and unaccountable World Economic Forum, led by Klaus Schwab... is given unprecedented power over the peoples of sovereign countries, who have had no say whatsoever on the contents of this pact, because it has been kept hidden from them.

  • Buried near the end of the Digital Global Compact, in paragraph 30, is the only thing you need to know about it: "We must urgently counter and address... all forms of hate speech and discrimination, misinformation and disinformation...."

  • In 2021-22, the UN entered into a partnership with Google to ensure that the search engine only display information reflecting UN perspectives. Dissenting views would have to be erased. The UN did not even hide their totalitarian move, and issued a press release about it.

Titania McGrath: If Donald Trump wins, it's over
[The Critic] It's delicious satire, as always, by TM
The imminent US election has been a constant source of anxiety for me. The prospect of a literal fascist returning to the White House has triggered my self-diagnosed PTSD. I haven’t been this distressed since my niece spat out the puberty blockers I smuggled into her rusks.

Donald Trump has consistently sown division and hatred. In this election campaign there have been three assassination attempts against Trump, thereby proving irrefutably that he is guilty of inciting violence.

If Trump continues to speak in public, no doubt more innocent people will be goaded into attempting to shoot him, thereby putting themselves in danger of being killed by the security services. This is reckless behaviour.

Trump’s connections to fascism are easily proven. For instance, his second wife was Marla Maples, who was born in the town of Cohutta in Georgia. Cohutta is an anagram of "Taco Hut", which is a conflation of Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. These are both examples of popular restaurants. It is in restaurants that one often finds sausages. The country most associated with sausages is Germany. And Germany was the home of the Third Reich.

Arguably, matters are even worse here in the UK. In July’s general election, I was put in an impossible position. I was never going to vote for a straight white male in the form of Keir Starmer, but the ethnic minority candidate was Rishi Sunak, an evil Tory. In the end, I spoiled my ballot by drawing a huge X in the box next to Sunak’s name. It was a small protest, but it felt good.

Kamala Harris is now the only hope for America. She is both mixed-race and female, which is far more important than "charisma" or "competence". She is half-Indian and half-Jamaican, which means that she is even more oppressed than Barack Obama. And let’s not forget that Obama’s mother was white, which always meant he was 50 per cent problematic.

If Trump wins, I don’t think I will be able to cope. In fact, if he is elected again, I will be suing anyone who votes for him as compensation for my trauma. You have been warned.

Why Veterans Really Hate Liz Cheney, Kamala Harris, And The Architects Of The War On Terror
[Federalist] Many veterans of the Global War on Terrorism feel extreme resentment toward Kamala Harris and the Democrat Party — and here’s why.

The recent controversy regarding Donald Trump’s criticism of Liz Cheney as a warhawk who has never faced the dangers of the wars she embraces has synthesized an issue that may be opaque to non-veterans: the extreme resentment many veterans of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) feel toward Kamala Harris and the Democrat Party.

Harris and the Democrats have created a perfect storm of veteran disdain in that they have succeeded in uniting three once-inapposite groups behind Harris: the neocons who started the GWOT, the media and Democrats who undermined the veterans’ GWOT missions, and the generals who failed again and again and again at bringing the GWOT to a successful conclusion.

Interesting article, but the author misses a key point. DoD was NOT in charge of the conflicts or outcomes in Iraq and Afghanistan. "Winning" and victory were never the goals. Senior careerist military officers simply carried out the dictates of the Chief of Mission/Station, and their wet nosed agents in the field.

Same theme as the iconic 1975 embassy extraction photo in the graphic, just different actors.

Georgia Supreme Court Overturns Relief for Cobb County Voters
[ACLU] ATLANTA - This afternoon, the Georgia Supreme Court denied relief for Cobb County voters who requested absentee ballots on time but did not receive them on time due to the county’s failure to mail them promptly. The lower court had ruled that an extension of the absentee receipt deadline was necessary in order to protect these voters’ constitutional right to vote, but the Georgia Supreme Court stayed that ruling, removing the relief that the lower court had ordered. The November 8 extension deadline that the earlier order had issued is no longer in effect.

As a result, all Cobb County voters affected by the County’s late mailing of absentee ballots must now vote in person or get their ballots to the Cobb County Elections office by 7 p.m. on November 5 (Election Day). The office is at 995 Roswell St. NE, Marietta, GA 30060.

Sweden Showed Us How To Save America
[Chet Nagle's Now Hear This] What destroyed the United States that we once knew? It was a promise that did it. Our nation is experiencing exactly what Obama meant when he promised to "fundamentally change America." He and his carry-over officials have been insuring the Biden administration makes that promise come true.

To see who those officials are, see my 2023 post: The Dirty Little Secret of America’s Current Government: Obama's Third Term, here. As you read, you will learn who and how those now in power in Washington made Obama’s promise come true.

With the election only hours away, Americans on the left are being urged by mainstream media and corporate propaganda to blame all our problems on Trump. In contrast, Americans on the right are being urged by Trump to review the damage the Biden/Obama administration has done to their lives and pocketbooks in just four years. What are those issues that right-thinking Americans (and a growing number of liberals) believe are destroying America?

They believe that only American citizens should vote, and that voters be required to have a state or federal photo ID. They believe that elections should take place on a single day using paper ballots, and that vote counting be finished by midnight on Election Day. In contrast to those beliefs, a Biden-appointed federal judge, Patricia Tolliver Giles, blocked Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin from removing self-identified non-citizens from Virginia voter rolls. The U.S. Supreme Court overturned her unconstitutional decision as this is being written. Will Biden’s Department of Justice end their suits against Alabama and rural Wisconsin towns who are also trying to remove non-citizens from their voter rolls, or will they continue their efforts to destroy election integrity?

Democrats paid $430,000 to firm linked to Pennsylvania voter fraud investigations
[Washington Examiner] Democratic political campaigns have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to a consulting firm facing investigations in Pennsylvania counties for allegedly submitting fraudulent voter registration forms, federal records show.

The district attorney of Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Mike Mancuso, said in a statement last week that a subsidiary of a firm in Arizona called FieldCorps was responsible for submitting 30 forms with fraudulent details, including on behalf of a dead resident. And in York, another county in the Keystone State, officials are looking into suspicious forms they say were submitted by FieldCorps on behalf of the Everybody Votes Campaign, a group tied to the Washington, D.C.-based Arabella Advisors dark money network supporting Democrats.

Now, as of Saturday, the website for FieldCorps and its social media accounts do not appear to be active. Francisco Heredia, a city councilman in Mesa, Arizona, listed on corporate documents as the owner of the consulting firm, did not return a request for comment. Eduardo Sainz, a political consultant who is a partner at the firm, also did not respond.

The unfolding drama in Pennsylvania comes ahead of Election Day on Tuesday and a matchup between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Pennsylvania is a key swing state in 2024 and the results in counties there could decide who enters the White House next year. A Washington Examiner review of Federal Election Commission filings found that, since 2018, Democratic campaign committees have shuffled roughly $430,000 to FieldCorps.

The FieldCorps subsidiary is working out of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, according to state officials, who have declined to identify whether FieldCorps is the "third-party organization" behind an investigation officials opened there into 2,500 voter registration forms flagged as suspicious.
I vote they make the entire state redo the election, this time with Republican Party lawyers and trained poll watchers in each precinct, and each voter required to provide a photo ID and proof of residency. The Democratic Party should pay the entire cost, from printing ballots to legal fees, not the taxpayer — there needs to be a serious cost to screwing around like this. And track down and arrest those named individuals running the thing.

Losing Power? The Elites And The Leftist Mob Would Rather Burn It All To The Ground
[ZERO] It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a significant positive evolution within American society. In the early days of the Ron Paul movement I remember the hopeful groundswell of support for a new conservative epoch that adopted a little Libertarianism and a recognition that most "conspiracy theories" are actually conspiracy realities. It was the kind of catalyst that was needed to break the long running false paradigm of Neo-Cons vs Democrats; it was the beginning of the conservative rebellion we see happening today.

How do I know things have changed? For one, Neo-Cons are almost universally hated by real conservatives. So much so that it has forced those politicians to show their true colors and come out in favor of Democrat/globalist candidates like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The mask is truly off and the act is over. You’re not going to see people like Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney or Lindsay Graham taken very seriously by anyone anymore.

The return to a true conservative philosophy has been initiated and this time it doesn’t look like it will be snuffed out like the Barry Goldwater era of the early 1960s. The concept of limited government, an end to debt spending, sound money, the removal of elitist NGOs from political influence, a hard-line stance against globalism, legit border security, meritocracy, a rejection of progressive deconstruction and moral relativism, all of these things are prime conservative principles.

Such ideas have been treated as "archaic" and "barbaric" for decades because they threaten the structures that keep the establishment elites in power. Today, they are making a comeback.

Some will say that it’s all because of Donald Trump, but this is not the case. This movement was growing into a Juggernaut long before Trump, though he is certainly riding the wave as it comes to fruition. The question is, will Trump do it justice if he gets the gold this week? I predicted a Trump win in 2016 for months leading up to the election despite the army of naysayers (I also predict he will win in 2024). But, for me, his first term left a lot to be desired; the biggest problem being the elitist creepers filling his cabinet.

But hey, at least he wasn’t promoting transsexual procedures for children or trying to start World War III with Russia like the Democrats have been doing. I’ll also admit that Trump’s coalition of allies is looking FAR better this time around. Talk of Ron Paul joining the team is surprising and gives me some hope.

Russian spies plotted to firebomb US-bound flights from Europe, western officials believe: Blazes at DHL bases 'were caused by exploding massage devices sent as a test run'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Western officials fear Russia has plans to plant bombs on passenger planes flying to the US and Canada after electronic massagers exploded in a warehouse.

The comments come after two incendiary devices were shipped via a DHL logistics centre on July 22 to Birmingham, England, and Leipzig, Germany, resulting in a fire.

Four people were arrested in connection with the blaze and charged with participating in sabotage or terrorist operations on behalf of a foreign intelligence agency.

No injuries were reported, with the incident dealt with by staff and the local fire brigade, but investigators believe there could have been far more serious consequences had the devices ignited while in flight.

The terrifying episode took place at the DHL centre in Birmingham on the ground of the depot.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Poland's prosecutor's office has now said: 'The group's goal was also to test the transfer channel for such parcels, which were ultimately to be sent to the United States of America and Canada.'

Head of Poland's foreign intelligence agency, Pawel Szota, blamed Russia, although the prosecutor's office statement did not name a foreign government suspected of directing the operations.

The secretive weapons were electronic massagers modified with a flammable magnesium-based substance, according to the WSJ.

Delay of the plane was referenced as fortunate, with experts warning there could have been a very different outcome had it taken off on time.

Concerns over Russia's suspected involvement come as Western officials are increasingly fearing the country may be responsible for similar sabotage acts. German intelligence service chief Thomas Haldenwang previously told a Bundestag committee that had the package ignited after the flight had taken off, the plane would have crashed.

The suspect package is believed to have been sent from Lithuania, before it exploded at the logistics centre, setting an entire freight container alight.

Foreign intelligence service chief Bruno Kahl added Putin was likely to further 'test the West's red lines', amid the increase in tensions between Russia and Nato over the invasion of Ukraine. He said there was now a willingness at a 'previously unknown level' to attempt sabotage from the Kremlin.

A warehouse in London belonging to a company with links to Ukraine caught fire in a a suspected deliberate attack in March.

Meanwhile in Germany a military base was the target of a suspected attempt to contaminate its drinking water in August.

US intelligence also uncovered a plot to murder Armin Papperger, the CEO of weapons manufacturer Rheinmetall, which has supplied vehicles and ammunition to Ukraine.

And Russia was accused of being behind a fire at a shopping centre in Warsaw by Polish prime minister Donald Tusk.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Terrorist tries to blow up Nashville power plant using weapon of mass destruction
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A homegrown terrorist allegedly tried to blow up a Nashville power plant using what federal prosecutors have referred to as a weapon of mass destruction.

Skyler Philippi, 24, of Columbia, Tennessee has been arrested for allegedly plotting to destroy the power plant using explosives attached to a drone, prosecutors announced on Monday.

They say Philippi was trying to further his white supremacist goals and believed that blowing up the power plant would usher in a 'New Age.'

'As charged, Skyler Philippi believed he was moments away from launching an attack on a Nashville energy facility to further his violent mostly peaceful white supremacist ideology - but the FBI [had] already compromised his plot,' Attorney General Merrick Garland said.

'This case serves as yet another warning to those seeking to sow violence and chaos in the name of hatred by attacking our country's critical infrastructure: the Justice Department will find you, we will disrupt your plot and we will hold you accountable.'

According to a criminal complaint, Philippi told an informant in June about his desire to commit a mass shooting at a YMCA facility located in his hometown.

The following month, he allegedly told another person about the impact of attacking large interstate substations, saying it would 'shock the system' and cause other substations to malfunction.

Later, prosecutors say, Philippi told the informant and an undercover agent he had written a manifesto about his desire to attack 'high tax cities or industrial areas to let the k***s lose money,' using a derogatory word for Jewish people.

In that conversation, he also reportedly spoke about getting into a shooting with a black person from Louisville, Kentucky, and argued that the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks 'were an inside job organized by a Jewish person.'

Philippi went on to tell the informants he was previously affiliated with white supremacist and neo-Nazi

groups: the Atomwaffen Division and the National Alliance.

The two groups have previously targeted racial minorities, the Jewish community, the LGBTQ+ community, government, journalists and infrastructure.

it makes me wild with anger

It wasn't an "inside job", it was done by Islamists for their stated intent, and was celebrated by them - it's not like they deny it, it was their greatest victory.

It's such an obvious Muslim Brotherhood propaganda diversion, to blame the victim
That's what they do. That way they can increase Muslim migration and pretend you're all Islamophobic.

it disgusts me that young americans are taken in by this, because it lets the attackers ideology off the hook so it can continue the colonisation project

and btw - building 7? ohhh building 7 fell down no plane crashed into it... well dummies, what is more likely - that secret operatives plugged it all with explosives weeks before in a complex operation?

Or that it caught fire, and had to be brought down, and that firefighters on the ground most likely did that (they do this all the time for unsound burnt structures to prevent them falling on other buildings/people) -- and because comms went down that day it wasn't clearly communicated. I think that is way more likely

Another Iranian agent embedded in the regime?
[TopSecretUmbra] Another Suspected Iranian Mole Unmasked Inside the Biden Administration: Just how many Friends of Tehran are working in top government jobs for Biden-Harris?

On the eve of America’s election, Democrats and their media wing are putting in overtime suppressing stories that are unflattering to Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. As this newsletter just reported, Walz has longstanding ties to the People’s Republic of China which are highly concerning from a counterintelligence perspective. Just don’t expect the mainstream media to investigate any of this, especially so close to the election.

However, when it comes to espionage, Democrat problems with Iran are even worse than with China. Going where the legacy media fears to tread, Top Secret Umbra has exposed the shocking extent of Iranian penetration of the current White House, which extends back to President Barack Obama’s two terms in the Oval Office. Regarding the all-important matter of cadres, President Joe Biden represents Obama’s third term, while Harris would be his fourth.

Take the astonishing case of Rob Malley, Obama’s Iran fixer, the academic-turned-bureaucrat who made the Iran Deal, formally the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, a reality in 2015. Pres. Biden brought Malley back into the White House in 2021 to revive JCPOA, which Pres. Trump killed in 2018. As the top mullah-whisperer for Team Obama-Biden-Harris, Malley hoped to deliver better relations with Tehran, but that fell apart in the spring of 2023 when Malley’s top-level security clearances were yanked, and he was escorted from his office at the State Department. Malley fell under suspicion for espionage and was placed under FBI scrutiny.

It's been 18 months since Malley’s high-flying government career fell apart, but we still don’t know what happened. Repeated inquiries by Congress about the status of the FBI investigation into Malley’s misdeeds have been stonewalled by the White House. The Beltway rumor mill has it that Malley illegally downloaded classified information to his personal email, which then got hacked by Iranian spies. Making the bad situation worse, Malley then lied to the FBI about his actions.

The Biden administration is running out the clock on the Malley scandal, hoping it fades away. As it might. Malley’s been soft-landed back into elite academia, a cushy gig at Princeton, while the Democrats and their media helpers have shown no interest in ascertaining what exactly was going on between Tehran and Team OBH’s top Iran expert. At best, Malley is uncomfortably close to the mullahs and their clerico-fascist regime; at worst, he’s his generation’s Alger Hiss. It’s not like the legacy media is going to ask questions anyway.

Regrettably, the Biden-Harris administration is packed with friends and protégés of Malley’s. The absurd case of Ariane Tabatabai is illustrative. Another academic-turned-bureaucrat, the Iranian-born Tabatabai was appointed to a very sensitive job in the Pentagon by the Biden White House. As the chief of staff to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, Tabatabai enjoyed access to an astonishing array of highly classified information, particularly regarding covert action. She was unmasked in Sept. 2023 as an agent for Tehran going back a decade. Tabatabai worked for a front for Iranian intelligence called the Iran Experts Initiative, which sought to improve the regime’s image in the West. Despite this, the Biden administration kept Tabatabai in her ASD SOLIC job. After her exposure as Iran’s agent, Tabatabai visited the White House at least eight times, for (presumably classified) meetings. Just as with Malley, the administration stalled Congressional inquiries into the Tabatabai case, while the Democrats and their media wing showed no interest in the scandal. Last week, this newsletter revealed that, at last, Tabatabai has been removed from ASD SOLIC and “kicked upstairs.” She’s been named the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Education and Training, which is a promotion yet with reduced access to Pentagon secrets.

Then there’s Phil Gordon, another Democrat foreign policy maven who’s bounced between government and the Council on Foreign Relations for many years. He’s long been close to Kamala Harris and has served as the vice president’s National Security Adviser since 2022. Gordon’s been chummy with Malley for decades, while they worked together to deliver Pres. Obama his Iran Deal. Under Obama, Gordon held top jobs on the National Security Council and at the State Department. Gordon co-authored several op-eds with Ariane Tabatabai, all of them with a pro-Tehran bent. He is also close with the National Iranian American Council, an NGO which advocates for the mullah regime and is considered a front for Tehran by Western counterintelligence.

The Biden White House official who should be fretting over all these Friends of Tehran holding top jobs in the administration is Maher Bitar, who’s the NSC’s senior director for intelligence programs. As such, Bitar is the White House’s top coordinator with the Intelligence Community. Another Malley protégé, Bitar worked in plum jobs for the Obama administration. He’s anything but a hardliner on Iran. When he was a student a Georgetown University, Bitar held a leadership role with Students for Justice in Palestine, a radical activist group that’s pro-HAMAS. Since the Gaza War, SJP has organized anti-Israel protests on college campuses nationwide. It’s no mystery why Bitar isn’t purging the Biden-Harris administration of Friends of Tehran.

The real mystery here is why the Biden White House, like the Obama administrations before it, is crawling with Iranian agents and their apologists. Counterintelligence seems to exist only in theory for Team OBH, at least when Iran is involved. People who are known to be cuddly with America’s enemies shouldn’t be eligible for TOP SECRET security clearances, much less top national security jobs. But that’s exactly what’s happened since 2009 under three Democrat administrations. With so many of these troubling cases, this pro-Iranian pattern cannot be deemed a coincidence or accident, rather a design.

How many Iranian moles are operating in the upper echelons of the Biden-Harris administration? Officially, nobody knows, while nobody in the legacy media will ask. Counterintelligence experts in Washington, DC, do ask, that’s their job, albeit in hushed tones. Counterspies inside the Beltway tell me that another suspected Friend of Tehran recently was unmasked, and the implications of this case are deeply alarming for U.S. national security.

His name is Lawrence W.K. Casselle, and he’s one of the top officials in the State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service. Although little known to the public, DSS are Foggy Bottom’s cops, the federal agents who guard American diplomats abroad as well as foreign government dignitaries when they visit the U.S. Importantly, DSS also provides counterintelligence oversight to the State Dept.

Casselle, a native of Las Vegas, joined the State Dept. as a Diplomatic Security special agent in 2003, following graduation from Hampton University on an ROTC scholarship, then four years on active duty with the U.S. Army as an infantry officer. Casselle’s DSS career has been very successful, with tours at home and abroad, including serving on the protective detail of then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice from 2006 to 2008. He served as a Regional Security Officer in Kabul, then as senior RSO based in Belize. Casselle got important international experience in 2018-19 when he served in Baghdad as the DSS liaison to the Department of Defense’s Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (that’s the Pentagon’s term for our war against the Islamic State in the Middle East). Following that, he got the White House plum job of NSC Director for Counterterrorism (2019-20), then was promoted to be chief of staff for all DSS (2021-23).

Casselle this summer came under suspicion for his ties to Tehran. When he was serving in the Middle East, apparently during his tour in Baghdad, Casselle became close with a foreign woman. They developed a romantic relationship, IC insiders tell me, and Casselle used his powerful job and State Dept. connections to help his new friend. Inconveniently, his paramour turned out to be an operative for Iranian intelligence.

How compromised Casselle is by this scandal isn’t yet known. IC counterspies tell me that they are trying to establish how close to Tehran Casselle got during his close relationship with that Iranian spy, but the State Dept. isn’t cooperating energetically with the counterintelligence investigation. If one of Foggy Bottom’s rising stars turns out to be an Iranian mole, the embarrassment to the department will be serious. Casselle’s superiors want this mess to simply go away.

Casselle isn’t just a top U.S. diplomat, he’s African American, which puts him perfectly in tune with the Biden-Harris emphasis on DEI in the federal government.

There are dire national security consequences if Casselle went rogue. In his DSS position he holds TOP SECRET-plus security clearances, while during his two-decade career he’s held several jobs offering access to a wide array of U.S. intelligence secrets.

If Casselle was coopted by Iranian intelligence through his unwise love life, Tehran could have gotten its eyes on a massive number of American secrets from numerous agencies far beyond Main State.

In a telephone call with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Blinken "noted that Hamas has once again refused to release even a limited number of hostages to secure a ceasefire and relief for the people of Gaza," a State Department statement said.

Blinken "emphasized the importance of bringing the war in Gaza to an end, securing the release of all hostages and increasing and sustaining the delivery of humanitarian assistance," it said.
The proposal, according to the Times of Israel:
Egypt had put forth a proposal that would have begun with an initial 48-hour ceasefire during which Hamas would have prepared for the release of four Israeli hostages over the next 10 days, two Arab diplomats told The Times of Israel.

The four hostages were to fall under the so-called humanitarian category, meaning they were to be either women, elderly, or sick.

In exchange, Israel was to release roughly 100 Palestinian security prisoners, the diplomats said, and Israel and Hamas would have held talks throughout the 12-day deal about a more long-lasting ceasefire.

Netanyahu is also prepared to offer their captors “several million dollars” for the release of each hostage. In addition, the captors who release hostages would be guaranteed “safe passage” for them and their families, the report stated.

But Hamas made clear that it would only agree to a short-term deal that includes guarantees for a longer-term one, and the Egyptian proposal stopped short of such an assurance, given Israel’s refusal to agree.

Security upped for IDF base commander after Iranian assassination plot — report
[IsraelTimes] Following up on Iran International report, Channel 12 says Brig. Gen. Yotam Sigler was target of plot foiled after arrest of seven Israelis

The military has reportedly put in place heightened security measures for a commander at the Nevatim Airbase in southern Israel, following an Iranian scheme to assassinate him.

An Israeli defense official told Iran International, an Iranian opposition media outlet based outside of the Islamic Republic, that the security arrangements for the commander are “not standard procedure,” but are similar to those provided for high-ranking officials like the IDF’s chief of staff.

The official said that the commander was targeted by Iran because the Nevatim Airbase “is in itself so strong a target for Iran. It’s not just fighters. It’s intelligence. It’s multi-disciplinary and a strategic base.”

Channel 12 news reported that the target of the plot was Brig. Gen. Yotam Sigler, the commander of the airbase.

Nevatim is a major airbase in southern Israel, and is home to the Israeli Air Force’s most advanced aircraft, including US-produced F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter jets. The base was one of the main targets of two unprecedented Iranian ballistic missile attacks, one in April and one in October, sustaining minor damage in both strikes.

Iran International said that the assassination plot was foiled after the arrest of seven Israelis of Azerbaijani descent, who had been working for Iran for the past two years.

The suspects, all Jewish, were arrested in September on suspicion of spying for Iran for as long as two years, carrying out some 600 missions at the behest of the Islamic Republic.

The suspects are accused of photographing and collecting information on IDF bases and facilities, including the Kirya defense headquarters in Tel Aviv and the Nevatim and Ramat David airbases, on behalf of Iranian agents with whom they were in contact through a Turkish intermediary.

In return for their actions, the suspects were allegedly paid hundreds of thousands of dollars, some of it in cryptocurrency, and some of it in cash that was delivered by Russian tourists.

Israel Police Chief Superintendent Yaron Binyamin, who heads the Lahav 433 serious crimes unit, called it “one of the most severe cases we’ve ever investigated. There is a real possibility that the main charge will be aiding the enemy in wartime, for which the penalty is death or life imprisonment.”

The Shin Bet in recent months has uncovered a series of alleged Iranian plots to recruit Israelis into carrying out missions, including assassinations.

Iraq
Iraq’s security advisor underscores efforts to address extremism, al-Hol
[Rudaw] Iraq has undertaken important steps to combat extremism in the country and region, National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji said on Monday, noting Baghdad’s efforts to return nationals being held at al-Hol camp in northeast Syria (Rojava).

"Iraq’s participation in that conference embodies the will of the international community, friendly nations, and allies and lovers of peace, to combat extremism and protect the rights of the nations and build continued peace," Araji said at a conference in Kuwait for combating terrorism and border security.

He said that his country has taken "important steps" to combat terrorism and this has allowed Iraq to become "more attractive to investment and an encouraging factor for establishing projects in all fields."

Araji noted that 2,710 Iraqi prisoners - many charged with terrorism - being held at al-Hol camp in Syria’s Hasaka province have been transferred to interior ministry prisons in Iraq, where complete investigations will be conducted and then they will be handed over to the judiciary.

Iraqis and Syrians make up the majority of the estimated 40,000 people at the camp since the military defeat of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. (ISIS) in Syria in 2019. The camp controlled by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has been described as a humanitarian disaster and a breeding ground for terrorism by security experts.

Araji noted the brave decision by Baghdad to repatriate Iraqi families, totalling 2,629 families and 10,242 individuals.

Most of the repatriates live in al-Jada rehabilitation camp in Iraq’s northern Nineveh province. al-Jada prepares the individuals for reintegration into their communities and then return to their places of origin

Until now, 2,082 families, consisting of 7,685 people in eight Iraqi provinces have been returned to their homes, according to Araji.

Iraq and the United Nations

reached an agreement to repatriate all Iraqi nationals from al-Hol by 2027, a spokesperson from the migration ministry told Rudaw in June.

abuses and war crimes from 2014 to 2017, when they controlled vast swathes of the country.

On Friday, the SDF announced that their forces conducted a security operation in al-Hol camp, "targeting an ISIS terrorist cell."

Additionally, Kurdish authorities in Rojava have repeatedly called on the international community to repatriate their nationals from the camps, but their calls have largely gone unanswered as most countries are unwilling to bring back their citizens due to security concerns.

Hunter Biden overheard moaning about ‘$18M’ in legal bills
[PAGESIX] Hunter Biden has apparently found some popularity as a Hollywood party guest ahead of his sentencing next month in two cases.

Spies said that the convicted first son, 54, was at a party in Los Angeles last week grousing about his mounting legal bills and his infamous Ukraine scandal.

Said an insider of the A-list gathering: ''Hunter Biden was trying to explain his history and problems to guests at a party in LA.''

The source said Hunter was telling guests that, '''I have $18 million in legal bills, and— my cases hanging over my head.' He also talked a lot about his Ukraine and Russia connections saying, 'all these stories were set-ups.'''

The Grand Turk
Turkey removes three Kurdish mayors, appoints trustees
[Rudaw] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
on Monday sacked three mayors in its southeast Kurdish region on "terrorism" charges and replaced them with government-appointed trustees, the interior ministry announced.

The Kurdish mayors of the cities of Mardin and Batman, as well as Halfeti in Sanliurfa province, were removed from their positions and replaced with government-appointed trustees, the interior ministry said. All three mayors are from the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party).

They include veteran Kurdish politician Ahmet Turk of Mardin, Gulistan Sonuk of Batman, and Mehmet Karayilan of Sanliurfa’s Halfeti district.

"Never give up. We will not step back from the struggle for democracy, peace, and freedom. We will not allow the usurpation of the people’s will. Let this be known!" Turk, who in March was sentenced to ten years in prison in the Kobane trials, said on X following the decision.

Alongside Turk, both Sonuk and Karayilan have been handed prison sentences for alleged "membership in a terrorist organization" charges, referring to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The Ottoman Turkish government has recently turned the heat up against the DEM Party and its elected mayors. In June, a Ottoman Turkish court sentenced the party’s mayor in Hakkari (Colemerg), Mehmet Siddik Akis, to 19.5 years in prison for alleged affiliation with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). Akis was removed from his position days before the court ruling and was replaced by a state-appointed trustee.

The removal of Kurdish mayors and their replacement with trustees is not new. Dozens of Kurdish mayors affiliated with other pro-Kurdish parties have been dismissed and replaced with trustees for terror-related charges since 2016, with many of them being sentenced to jail. The DEM Party denies any links to the group and maintains it is merely pro-Kurdish.

On Wednesday, Kurdish mayor Ahmet Ozer of Istanbul’s Esenyurt district from the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) was arrested due to alleged PKK links and quickly replaced with a trustee.

Thousands of Kurdish politicians and supporters of pro-Kurdish parties, mainly DEM Party’s predecessor the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), have been incarcerated
Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw!
in the past decade for PKK-linked charges. A large number of them remain behind bars.

DEM Party scored several significant victories in the March election. It took Diyarbakir, Mardin, Batman, Siirt, Hakkari, Van, and Igdir provinces, which its sister party, the HDP, won in 2019 only to have their mayors removed because of alleged links with Kurdish rebels and replaced by state-appointed administrators.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Defense Ministry contractors detained for allegedly hiring Palestinians who illegally entered Israel
[IsraelTimes] Several Defense Ministry contractors who won tenders to carry out infrastructure work at army bases and other sensitive facilities were detained for allegedly hiring unauthorized laborers, including Palestinians who illegally entered Israel.

The Defense Ministry and Israel Police in a joint statement say that the contractors were likely aware that they were hiring unauthorized workers, including the Palestinians.

Authorities say that they suspect bribes were given to officials who participated or knew of document forgery, which allowed the unauthorized workers to enter IDF bases and sensitive facilities.

Five West Bank Palestinians were arrested last week, and fake documents, including IDs and car licenses, used to enter the IDF bases were seized, the ministry and police say.

This morning, four Israeli suspects were arrested in the case.

Monday Morning Kunstler-Urgent Appeal for Sanity and Assessment of Democrat Party Motives
In my state of New York last week, the DEC authorities sent a swat team to seize a man and woman’s pet squirrel and raccoon and then killed the animals. Why? Because they could. How is that different from the DOJ swatting and seizing a grandmother for walking through the US capitol building and then stuffing her in prison for the rest of her natural life on misdemeanor charges? It’s not different. They are both demonstrations of deliberate cruelty — and that’s why the squirrel story resonated so widely around the country. You know exactly what it says: we can take whatever is dear to you... your pets... your livelihood... your freedom... your life.

Muftiate denies information about mandatory wearing of hijab in Chechnya
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Kavkauzel] The information spread on social networks about the mandatory wearing of the hijab in Chechnya is false, the muftiate stated.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", the decision of the Vladimir Region authorities to ban the wearing of religious clothing in schools has caused a wide resonance in the republics of the North Caucasus. State Duma deputy and TV presenter Yevgeny Popov stated that he received threats from Dagestan deputy Biysultan Khamzaev because Popov supported criticism of Khamzaev on television for his position on banning hijabs in Vladimir Region schools. Khamzaev is known in Dagestan for his outrageous behavior, and his conflict with Popov went beyond the bounds of parliamentary ethics, journalists and a political scientist stated.

False information is being spread on social networks that wearing a hijab has been made mandatory in Chechnya, the republic's Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) announced today on its Telegram channel. "This information does not correspond to reality," the muftiate emphasized.

Attached to the publication is a screenshot of the post, which, in addition to information about the introduction of wearing the hijab in Chechnya, provides links to the Koran, and also states that all female residents of the republic who identify themselves as Muslims must allegedly begin wearing hijabs by December 1 of this year.

Catherine Herridge reveals how network killed Hunter Biden story
[NYPOST] CBS News went to great lengths to squash correspondent Catherine Herridge’s reporting about the Hunter Biden laptop just weeks before the 2020 election, the award-winning investigative journalist claimed.

In her bombshell allegation, Herridge revealed she brought evidence to CBS News executive Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews and "CBS Evening News" anchor Norah O’Donnell in early October 2020 that the laptop contained material about "a million dollar retainer from a Chinese energy firm," along with business texts and emails from the son of Democratic challenger Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...
But later that month, Herridge wrote that she was shocked to see "60 Minutes" correspondent Lesley Stahl say the laptop "couldn’t be verified" during a tense interview with then-President Donald Trump
...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down...
"As I watched the broadcast, I felt sick," Herridge, who was controversially fired by the Tiffany Network in February, wrote Sunday night in her recently launched newsletter.

"I knew the laptop records could be vetted and confirmed."

ODNI: Russia seen behind false reports of planned US election fraud in swing states
It wasn’t Democratic operatives in front of your lying eyes, h8ter. It was really Russia! Russia! Russia! with a little Iran for spice.
[IsraelTimes] Authorities also expect Iran-linked operations to try to stoke violence by spreading disinformation; watchdog says false or misleading claims by Elon Musk got 2 billion views on X

Russia-linked disinformation operations have falsely claimed officials in battleground states plan to fraudulently sway the outcome of the extraordinarily close US presidential election, authorities warned hours before voting began Tuesday, adding that they also expected Iranian-linked operations to try to stoke violence by spreading disinformation.

Success in the seven swing states is key to winning the White House for rivals Kamala Harris
Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's' former mistress
and Donald Trump
...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the World in the general election...
, and those states have previously been the focus of unsupported accusations of election fraud.

"Russia is the most active threat," the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the FBI and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said Monday.

"These efforts risk inciting violence, including against election officials," they added, noting the efforts are expected to intensify through Election Day and in the following weeks.

It was the latest in a series of warnings from the ODNI about foreign actors — notably Russia and Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites.
— allegedly spreading disinformation or hacking the campaigns during this election.

Tehran and Moscow have both denied such allegations in the past.

The latest ODNI statement cited the example of a recent video that falsely depicted an interview with a person claiming election fraud in Arizona, which involved creating fake overseas ballots and changing voter rolls to favor Harris.

Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes called the video and its claims "completely false, fake and fraudulent."

US officials warned in late October that Russia-linked operations were behind a viral video falsely showing mail-in ballots for Trump being destroyed in the swing state of Pennsylvania. The video, which garnered millions of views on platforms such as X, purported to show a man sorting through mail-in ballots from the state’s Bucks County and ripping up those cast for Trump.

The Bucks County Board of Elections branded the video as "fake," saying that the envelope and other materials depicted in the footage are "clearly not authentic materials" belonging to or distributed by them.

Cyabra, a firm that uses AI to detect online disinformation, said on Monday that an X account with 117,000 followers played a key role in helping spread the fake video.

X’s spokesperson said the social media platform took action against many accounts that shared the video.

In September, the Microsoft Threat Analysis Center said Russian operatives were ramping up disinformation operations to malign Harris’s campaign by disseminating conspiracy-laden videos.

Meanwhile,
...back at the saloon, Butch got the bill for the damage caused by the fist fight, the mirror broken in the shootout, and drinks for everyone......
the non-profit group Center for Countering Digital Hate reported on Monday that false or misleading claims by billionaire Elon Musk about the US election have amassed 2 billion views on his social media platform this year.

X is also playing a central role in enabling the spread of false information about the critical battleground states that will likely determine the outcome of the race, according to election and misinformation experts.

An X spokesperson said the company’s Community Notes feature, which lets users add additional context to posts, is more effective at helping people identify misleading content than traditional warning flags on posts.

Since taking over the company formerly known as Twitter, Musk has curtailed content moderation and laid off thousands of employees. He also has thrown his support behind Trump.

Musk’s massive reach with nearly 203 million followers helps enable "network effects" in which content on X can jump to other social media and messaging platforms such as Reddit and Telegram, said Kathleen Carley, a professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon University and expert on disinformation. "X is a conduit from one platform to another," she said.

At least 87 of Musk’s posts this year have promoted claims about the US election that fact-checkers have rated as false or misleading, amassing 2 billion views, according to the Center for Countering Digital Hate’s report.

In Pennsylvania, one of the seven key swing states, some X users have seized on instances of local election administrators flagging incomplete voter registration forms that would not be processed, falsely casting the events as examples of election interference, said Philip Hensley-Robin, Pennsylvania executive director at Common Cause, during a press briefing on Monday.

Common Cause is a nonpartisan organization that promotes accountable government and voting rights.

Some X accounts implied "that there was voter fraud, when in fact, we know very clearly that election officials and election administrators in all of our counties were following the rules and... therefore only eligible voters are voting," Hensley-Robin said.

The 2024 US presidential campaign has been a particularly volatile one, and security for Election Day on Tuesday is being ramped up to unprecedented levels given concerns over possible civil unrest, election chicanery, or violence against election workers.

The states of Oregon, Washington and Nevada have activated the National Guard — and the Pentagon says at least 17 states have placed a total of 600 National Guard troops on standby if needed.

The FBI has set up a national election command post in Washington to monitor threats 24 hours a day through election week, and security has been bolstered at many of the nearly 100,000 US polling stations.

Nineteen states have enacted election security enhancement laws since 2020, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

The new layers of security follow the election chaos from 2020, particularly after Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol building on January 6, 2021, aiming to halt certification of the election results that confirmed Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. The very model of probity....
as the winner.

IDF strikes Hezbollah’s intelligence unit in Syria, issues rare confirmation

In a rare acknowledgment, the IDF confirmed launching Arclight airstrike

The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? Meanwhile,

dozens of rockets were fired from Lebanon at the north, and the army said it shot down several drones, including two apparently launched from Iraq.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britannia-based war monitor, said the strikes in Syria killed two Hezbollah members. According to the monitor, the strikes hit a house "used by members of Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard" south of Damascus, in Sayyed
...Arabic term meaning your/his lordship. Groveling in His Exalted Presence is encouraged...
ah Zaynab — home to an important Shiite sanctuary and guarded by pro-Iranian groups.

Syrian state media also reported the strikes, saying they targeted civilian sites, but caused only "material damage."

The IDF said its strikes "significantly" harmed Hezbollah’s intelligence unit in Syria, which operates as an independent arm of the terror group’s headquarters in Lebanon.

According to the army, the Syrian unit had already taken a hit when its commander, Mahmoud Muhammad Shahin, was killed in an October 4 airstrike in Beirut, along with Hussein Ali Hazima, head of Hezbollah’s intelligence division.

That strike also killed top Hezbollah official Hashem Safieddine, the heir-apparent to the terror group’s longtime leader His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
...The late, lamented satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...>
, whom Israel killed in late September.

Shahin was a veteran member of Hezbollah, especially in the terror group’s intelligence division, and had headed the division’s Syria branch since 2007, the military said.

According to the IDF, Shahin maintained contact with the Syrian regime and Iranian officials, and as part of his role "he led the development and deployment of intelligence and air defense capabilities in coordination with various parts of the Iranian axis."

Israel has been carrying out airstrikes inside Syria since the civil war there began in 2011, mainly targeting attempts to transfer weapons to the Iran-backed Hezbollah or to keep Iranian fighters themselves from gaining a foothold near Israel’s border. Since Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
’s brutal October 7, 2023, massacre, which saw some 1,200 people killed in southern Israel and 251 kidnapped, Israel has escalated its strikes on Iranian-backed terror targets in Syria and has also struck Syrian army air defenses and some Syrian forces.

ROCKETS, DRONES TARGET NORTH
Two barrages of some 30 rockets each were fired from Lebanon at the Galilee on Monday.

According to the IDF, some of the rockets launched in the attacks were intercepted and the rest hit open areas. The military said it struck a Hezbollah launcher used to fire the first of the two barrages.

The IDF also said Monday that it downed five drones, including two in the morning that had crossed into Israeli airspace "from the east" — usually code for aircraft launched from Iraq. The military later published footage of some of the interceptions.

In Lebanon, combat engineers with the 188th Armored Brigade, operating in forested areas near the border, discovered and demolished a Hezbollah tunnel slated for a planned invasion of Israel, the IDF said, publishing footage of the tunnel.

The troops also located weapon bunkers hidden in the forested areas, the IDF added.

Meanwhile,
...back at the alley, Bugs Moroni was holding Slats from behind while his brother Greasy Thumb was pounding his face into paste ...
forces from the 91st Division continued to destroy terror infrastructure and confront button men in southern Lebanon, the military said.

It said that forces from the 228th Brigade spotted a gunman in a building near the border with Israel, and shot up the building.

Three Hezbollah commanders, including a member of the terror group’s elite Radwan Force, were also killed in separate airstrikes on southern Lebanon, the IDF said.

Israeli Air Force jets struck and killed Abu Ali Rida, the Hezbollah commander of the Baraachit area, the IDF said, adding that he was responsible for planning and carrying out rocket and anti-tank missile attacks on Israeli troops, and had commanded terror activities by Hezbollah operatives in that area.

Another strike in as-Sultaniyah killed Riyad Reda Ghazzawi, whom the IDF identified as a commander in the Radwan Force’s anti-tank missile unit. The IDF said he was behind numerous anti-tank attacks on Israel and troops operating in southern Lebanon.

Additional strikes targeted several buildings in Safad al-Battikh, where the IDF said Hezbollah members were operating. A commander at Hezbollah’s headquarters was killed in the strikes, the IDF said, adding that he had been responsible for recruitment and transferring weapons to Hezbollah cells.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Daniel Penny labeled ''the white man'' at racially charged trial
[NYPOST] On day two of his manslaughter case, Daniel Penny ceased having a name.

He became merely ''the white man.''

During the prosecution's opening statements on Friday, they asked why Penny, 26, did ''not see Mr. Neely's humanity.''

On Monday, the Marine Corps veteran — facing 15 years for the subway chokehold that killed mentally ill homeless man Jordan Neely — was reduced by the same prosecution to his race and sex.

Over and over.

This started when 19-year-old Ivette Rosario, a bystander on the train that day, was called to the stand. Rosario, appearing visibly shy and nervous, captured a short, shaky video of Penny holding Neely in a chokehold on the uptown F train.

It became clear that Rosario, whose voice at times, was barely audible, did not know Penny's name so she referred to him as ''the white guy.''

But she was not corrected by Assistant DA Jillian Shartrand, nor did the lawyer inform Rosario of the defendant's name. Instead, Shartrand adopted it as her own, calling him ''the white man.''

Shartrand continued to question Rosario, referring to the defendant as such, more than a half a dozen times. It was jarring to hear it repeated so casually.

Given the racial undertones of the case, with BLM protesters hurling accusations of Penny being a ''racist vigilante,'' it felt doubly reckless. Even if it wasn't wholly malicious.

In fact, when Penny's defense attorney, Thomas Kenniff, got up to cross examine Rosario, his client's name was the first order of business. He clarified that ''the white man'' was indeed his client and kindly agreed with Rosario that they'd refer to him as ''Danny'' and Neely as ''Jordan.''

The talks were part of Egypt’s broader mediation efforts to broker a ceasefire between Israel and terror group Hamas and to expand humanitarian access to the enclave.

According to the Qatari paper, the Hamas delegation presented a detailed work plan for the technocratic committee, while the Fatah delegation requested a discussion of its central management, which will reportedly be done in follow-up meetings.

A Hamas delegation led by top official Khalil al-Hayya reportedly met with the Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate yesterday but did not achieve any progress on a ceasefire and hostage release deal.

Al-Araby al-Jadeed writes that the Hamas delegation included new officials who had never participated in such talks before, in order to create "new opportunities for future discussions." The terror movement’s main demand was for Egypt to exert pressure on Israel to stop ongoing military operations in the northern Gaza Strip, the paper reports.

Suspected ISIS ambush kills local official in Kurdish-controlled east Syria: Monitor

...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) button men on Monday killed the head of a local council in an ambush in an area controlled by Kurdish forces in Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zor province, a war monitor reported.

"The head of al-Azba and Marat local council in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor was killed after being directly targeted by unknown button men believed to be affiliated with ISIS cells on the main street of al-Azba," said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based war monitor.

The ambush, which also injured a woman and a child, took place in northern Deir ez-Zor, controlled by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

It is the latest in a spate of ISIS attacks in Syria, particularly from the desert regions where jihadist cells maintain a presence.

Control of Deir ez-Zor province, which borders Iraq, is split between the SDF and the Iran-backed Syrian regime. It is also home to many of the country’s key oilfields, such as Omar and Conoco, which the global coalition helps the SDF to control.

San Francisco OKs $212M plan to finally replace aging train system run by floppy disks
Nobody asked for my bid. I'd do it for $106m flat.
[NYPOST] the Socialist paradise of San Francisco
...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964...
transit officials have approved a $212 million overhaul of its aging train control system — which for decades has run on data stored by floppy disks.

The Municipal Transportation Agency board, which oversees the Muni Metro light rail network in the city, approved a new contract with Hitachi Rail to upgrade its existing train control system, which was first installed at the Market Street subway station in 1998.

The software that runs the Automatic Train Control System (ATCS) is stored on floppy disks that are loaded each morning, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Three floppy disks are used for loading DOS software that controls the system’s central servers, according to Ars Technica.

DOS, which stands for disk operating system, was used to power IBM personal computers through the 1980s and 90s. But the rising popularity of Windows and other graphical user interfaces led to its demise.

"When a train enters the subway, its onboard computer connects to the train control system to run the train in automatic mode, where the trains drive themselves while the operators supervise," Michael Roccaforte, an SFMTA spokesperson, told Ars Technica in April.

"When they exit the subway, they disconnect from the ATCS and return to manual operation on the street."

Roccaforte said that the initial plan was to transition away from floppy disks beginning in 2018. The entire process was expected to last a decade.
There is an open source DOS replacement that boots from a USB key. That's all they would need to replace the floppies. If they want to run it on new computers, there are lots of cheap controller boards

Report: Democrats Spend over $2.1 Billion Trying to Stop Donald Trump
[Breitbart] The Harris campaign and allied groups spent more than $2.185 billion trying to prevent former President Donald Trump from completing the greatest comeback in American political history, Bloomberg reported on Open Secrets data.

The $2.1 billion investment underscores the challenge Trump faces to win reelection, notwithstanding two assassination attempts and Democrats’ lawfare.

The vast sum does not include millions of funds invested in smaller amounts by Democrat-allied organizations. The top organizations that spent $2.185 billion include:

  • Harris for President: $875 million

  • Future Forward: $621 million

  • DNC: $368 million

  • Harris Victory Fund: $321 million

“11,000 Political Groups Spent $14.7 Billion to Influence the 2024 Election,” Bloomberg wrote, reporting the particulars:

[I]t’s Vice President Kamala Harris who has the huge money advantage. She’s raised large sums from wealthy supporters and grassroots donors alike, which allowed her campaign to spend more handily compared to Trump’s, pouring $875 million into the race compared to $355 million for the Republican nominee.

Billions have passed through the coffers of the parties’ fundraising political action committees, including Democrats’ ActBlue and Republicans’ WinRed, which have processed more than 113 million donations and distributed $4.5 billion to other committees. The two PACs account for more than 31 cents of every dollar spent in the US, and have the most financial activity of any of the committees that spent money in the 2024 election cycle.

The US political system runs on money – and lots of it. With no legal limits on how much money can go into electing candidates to the White House and Congress, voters are deluged with ads, text messages and mailers as Republicans and Democrats battle to influence a deeply divided electorate.

Trump, however, posted an ad on Monday about overcoming adversity:

Nothing worth doing ever came easy. Treat the word impossible as nothing more than motivation. Never ever quit. Never quit. Adversity makes you stronger. Don’t give in. Don’t back down and never stop doing what you know is right. They want to take away my freedom, because I will never let them take away your freedoms. They’re not coming after me. They’re coming after you and I just happen to be standing in their way.

Iran Executes Jewish Citizen Over Fatal Stabbing He Claimed Was In Self-Defense
[IsraelTimes] Watchdog reports Arvin Nathaniel Ghahremani hanged at Kermanshah Central Prison; stabbing victim’s family reportedly refused to accept financial settlement to prevent execution

A Jewish Iranian man, Arvin Nathaniel Ghahremani, was executed Monday morning in Iran, a rights watchdog reported, after a two-year battle by his family and the local Jewish community to save his life. The Mizan Online website of the Iranian judiciary confirmed he was put to death.

Ghahremani 20, was hanged at the central prison in the western city of Kermanshah after being convicted of a murder during a street fight, said the Norway-based Iran Human Rights group.

“In the midst of the threats of war with Israel, the Islamic Republic executed Arvin Ghahremani, an Iranian Jewish citizen,” said IHR director Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, adding the legal case had “significant flaws.”

“However, in addition to this, Arvin was a Jew, and the institutionalized antisemitism in the Islamic Republic undoubtedly played a crucial role in the execution of his sentence,” Amiry-Moghaddam added.

Ghahremani was allegedly defending himself against a knife attack when he killed Amir Shokri in a 2022 brawl.

Ghahremani’s mother, Sonia Saadati, had asked for his life to be spared.

His family urged Shokri’s relatives to accept blood money under Iran’s Islamic law of retribution, which permits this alternative to execution.

Mizan said the victim’s family had “refused to give consent” to such a deal.

Under Iranian law, once a person is found guilty of intentional murder, the only way that the death sentence can be commuted is if the family of the deceased says it forgives the perpetrator.

Earlier this year it was reported that Shokri’s family had come under pressure from a close aide to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the intelligence division of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to not accept the financial settlement, the Ynet outlet reported. The motive for the objection was reportedly his Jewish ethnicity.

Ghahremani was previously scheduled to have been executed in May but was granted a last-minute stay of the sentence at the time.

Ghahremani was sentenced to death under the Iranian penal code for retributive justice, know as “Qisas” in the Quran.

His defense claimed he was working out at a gym, as was Shokri who owed him money, Ynet reported. Shokri stabbed Ghahremani with a knife but the latter was able to wrestle the weapon from Shokri and stab him back, fatally injuring him.

His family has said that the trial ignored key aspects of the defense’s claims including his efforts to get Shokri to a hospital and to save his life, details of which were missing from court papers, Ynet said.

According to Human Rights Watch (HRW), Iranian law states that if a non-Muslim kills a Muslim, Qisas can be applied and the perpetrator can be sentenced to death. However, if a Muslim kills a non-Muslim in Iran, Qisas does not apply and no punishment is handed down, leading human rights experts to argue that the law discriminates unfairly against minority groups in Iran.

Before the Islamic Revolution in 1979, there were some 100,000 Jews in Iran; by 2016, according to an Iranian census, that number had fallen to below 10,000.

While Jewish Iranians were executed in the immediate aftermath of the revolution, the execution of a Jewish Iranian is unprecedented in recent years.

Iran is openly sworn to the destruction of the Jewish state and financially supports terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas that are also committed to this aim.

Prominent figures in the Jewish community of Iran intermittently issue anti-Israel statements that match the regime’s agenda.

US Army says soldier who suffered non-combat injury during Gaza pier operation has died
He stepped forward and gave all. It should not have been demanded just to feed a senile old man’s ego.
[IsraelTimes] A US Army soldier who was in critical condition after suffering non-combat injuries while supporting the military’s pier off the coast of Gaza earlier this year has died, the US military says.

Sergeant Quandarius Davon Stanley, who recently retired from the military, suffered critical injuries in May while supporting operations at sea of the US-built pier designed to increase flows of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip amid Israel’s war with the Hamas terror group.

In a statement, the US Army confirms that Stanley had died, though it does not specify when. He was receiving treatment in a long-term care medical center.

“Stanley was an instrumental and well respected first line leader in the 7th Transportation Brigade Expeditionary (TBX), especially during the mission to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza,” Colonel John “Eddie” Gray, commander of the unit, says.

Three US troops sustained non-combat injuries during the pier operation, but the other two suffered minor injuries and have returned to duty.

Legal Insurrection has considerably more here.

Worth noting, korrespondent.net has compiled its Invasion of Ukraine series into separate months, beginning May 9th, 2023. Linked in the title.

[Korrespondent] 20:47 Russia has already transferred 11,000 North Korean troops to the Kursk region, Zelensky said following the report of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Foreign Intelligence Service. "We see an increase in the North Koreans, but we do not see an increase in the reaction of our partners, unfortunately," the president emphasized. The head of state also noted that the Kursk operation, which has been going on for almost three months, helps maintain a "sanitary zone" in certain areas near the Ukrainian state border. In addition, the Kursk operation is extremely important for replenishing the exchange fund and has greatly helped in the release of Ukrainian people from Russian captivity, Zelensky added.

19:54 Ukraine and Lithuania signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the Defense Industry, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported. In particular, the document provides for the joint production of UAVs and components, ammunition and components, electronic warfare systems, and the development of advanced technologies. Umerov also reported that Lithuanian Defense Minister Laurynas Kasciunas, during his visit to Kiev, handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces an aid package within the framework of the Mine Action Coalition - 230 pickups and 240 mine detectors.

18:35 The first NASAMS air defense system ordered by Canada has been sent to Ukraine - it should arrive by the end of this year, Zelensky said following a telephone conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

18:17 Germany will increase humanitarian aid to Ukraine by an additional 200 million euros for emergency winter support, Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced during a visit to Kiev.

16:49 Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak claims that Ukraine is not holding any negotiations with the Russian Federation: "This is definitely not true. What is happening: we held thematic conferences. The first conference was on energy security, it was online, but Qatar was a co-organizer. All these thematic conferences - without Russia. After that, we established the principles: if today Qatar, for example, or another country is ready to implement these agreements through agreements with Ukraine separately, and separately with the Russian Federation - please. What I know today: so far no one has any agreements. If such agreements are reached, Ukraine is ready to consider them, because this is absolutely consistent with the principles laid down in the Peace Formula."

15:28 Russia is currently using about ten times more "shahids" than last fall, Zelensky said following a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters. In particular, the president heard a report from Acting Air Force Commander Anatoly Krivonozhko on strengthening air defense in regions that need it most, developing new solutions to combat KABs, and strengthening mobile fire groups.

There were also reports on domestic production of shells, weapons, equipment, electronic warfare systems, and drones. In particular, they reviewed 3-5-year contracts offered to Ukrainian manufacturers of strategic-level drones. Syrsky reported on the use of such long-range drones, determining priorities, and planning operations.

14:50 Radio Liberty journalists have reviewed the draft of the "peace agreement" that Russia offered to Ukraine after the invasion in 2022. The publication received the draft agreement from a Ukrainian source, and a Russian source close to the negotiations confirmed its authenticity.

The project entitled "Treaty on the settlement of the situation in Ukraine and the neutrality of Ukraine" dated March 7, 2022, was handed over to the Ukrainian delegation during the third round of negotiations in Belarus. The document envisaged, in particular, the reduction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to 50 thousand people, Ukraine's refusal to use weapons with a range of over 250 km, the "independence" of the so-called "DPR" and "LPR" within the administrative regions of Ukraine, the restoration of the infrastructure of Donbass at the expense of Kyiv, the lifting of all sanctions against the Russian Federation, granting the Russian language the status of a state language, etc.

13:42 Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak stated that North Korean soldiers "will die first in Kursk region, because they, like the Russian army, pose a threat to Ukraine." He added that the DPRK military is present in Kursk region, "and, of course, they will die."

13:17 Zelensky announced "important shifts" in the supply of partners for the front: "We are recording an increase in supplies in accordance with support packages. The best results were in artillery supplies." The President also said that he instructed the Minister of Defense to further increase orders for Ukrainian drones for specific Ukrainian operations. According to the head of state, the approved plans for the supply of Ukrainian-made drones for the Defense Forces are being fulfilled.

As for the situation at the front, which the president also discussed during a meeting with Commander-in-Chief Syrsky, Chief of the General Staff Bargilevich and Defense Minister Umerov, the greatest attention was paid to the Pokrovsky, Kurakhovsky, Toretsky and Kupyansky directions. There was also a separate report on the Kursk operation and the destruction of Russian forces in certain areas near the Ukrainian border.

12:56 EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that during a meeting with South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul, he called on Seoul to increase support for Ukraine: "Russia's aggression against Ukraine is an existential threat. The Republic of Korea understands this better than anyone. We are united in our support for Ukraine. I called on them to increase this support."

11:39 Russia will pay soldiers from the DPRK for participating in the war against Ukraine about $2,000 per month, The Korea Herald writes, citing South Korean intelligence. Workers from North Korea will receive $800. The DPRK will also receive about 700,000 tons of rice to partially cover its million-dollar production deficit, and possibly advanced space technology to launch its reconnaissance satellite.

At the same time, experts admit that "the most pleasant part of the deal" that Pyongyang may receive is the opportunity to force Russia to fight on its side in the event of unforeseen circumstances on the Korean Peninsula. And Russia will try to use the DPRK as a "bargaining chip" in negotiations with the United States, analysts believe.

10:18 German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced that she had arrived in Kiev.

09:40 In the Kherson region, over the past 24 hours, as a result of Russian shelling, four people were injured, reported the head of the OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin.

09:04 On the evening of November 3, Russians attacked Kharkov - 15 people were wounded, including four police officers, said the head of the OVA Oleg Sinegubov. As a result of the shelling, the glazing of the windows of an infrastructure facility, four retail pavilions, two supermarkets, a house, a laboratory, a cafe, 21 retail kiosks, a shopping center, and two residential buildings were damaged. In addition, in the evening, the enemy struck a five-story residential building in the village of Kovsharovka in the Kupyansk district - according to preliminary information, three people are under the rubble.

08:39 Air defense destroyed 50 out of 80 Russian drones (Shahed and unspecified types) in Kyiv, Sumy, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Kirovohrad regions at night. Another 27 enemy drones were lost, the Air Force reported. In addition, at night the enemy launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile strike on Dnipropetrovsk region and attacked Kharkiv region with guided air bombs.

08:17 In Donetsk region on November 3 as a result of Russian shelling two people were wounded - in Mirnohrad and Kurakhovo, reported the head of the OVA Vadim Filashkin.

08:03 The General Staff announced the estimated losses of the Russian Federation as of the morning of November 4:

Almost 19,000 residents of Novgorod region were left without electricity due to snowfall
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Tens of thousands of people in the Novgorod region were left without power supply due to bad weather. Power outages were recorded in 441 settlements. This was reported on November 4 by the region's governor Andrei Nikitin.
Novgorod has been settled for over a millennium. How is it that they are not prepared for the beginning of winter?
"52 teams of 175 people and 54 units of equipment have been brought in to carry out emergency recovery operations. Teams from other Rosseti branches are on their way to provide reinforcements, " the head of the region wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to local authorities, the largest number of power grid shutdowns occurred in Novgorodsky, Shimsky, Batetsky, Starorussky, Volotovsky, Marevsky and Demyansky districts. A total of 18.6 thousand people were left without power.

The regional prosecutor's office reported that on the morning of November 4, 2024, due to worsening weather conditions, there was a mass power outage in 500 settlements in the region. Currently, restoration work is underway with the involvement of emergency services. The Novgorod branch of Rosseti North-West has mobilized all forces and resources. Specialists are clearing roads and power lines from fallen trees.

The supervisory authority organized an inspection of compliance with the requirements of the legislation on electricity supply.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on November 3, the scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that from November 5, up to 85% of Russia's territory will be covered with snow. At the same time, the forecaster specified that this snow cover will be temporary.

Leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Evgeny Tishkovets reported that snowfalls are expected in a number of regions of the Russian Federation in the first days of November. According to him, autumn weather will persist only in the southernmost regions of the country.

About 300 residential buildings in St. Petersburg were left without electricity on October 19. The power went out in the Primorsky District of the city. The outage affected buildings on six streets. The large residential complex "Yubileiny Kvartal" was also without power.

Legoyda: The Church has always welcomed a moratorium on the death penalty
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The head of the Synodal Department for Church Relations with Society and the Media Vladimir Legoida explained the words of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia regarding the death penalty and stated that the position of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) on this issue has not changed.

Legoida, commenting on the patriarch’s words about the death penalty, stated that some have given them a “scandalous dimension,” which creates the impression that the primate “almost supported the death penalty.”

In order to find out the church’s clear position on this issue, Legoida suggested finding the foundations of the Russian Orthodox Church’s concept on the Internet, which were adopted by the Bishops’ Council in 2000.

"There are no indications of the need to abolish it in the Holy Scriptures of the New Testament, nor in the Tradition and historical heritage of the Orthodox Church. At the same time, the Church often took upon itself the duty of intercession before the secular authorities for those sentenced to death, asking for mercy and mitigation of punishment for them," Legoida cited the text of the Fundamentals of the Social Concept of the Russian Orthodox Church in his Telegram channel.

The day before, Patriarch Kirill spoke at a meeting with participants of the program "Time of Heroes." He stated that the Russian Orthodox Church does not welcome the death penalty, but does not condemn it either. And the patriarch himself supports the fact that there is currently a moratorium on the death penalty in Russia.

“The death penalty itself is not condemned by the word of God, but society can, of course, refuse the death penalty if it considers it excessive punishment,” the priest said.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, in June, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, proposed considering the issue of a possible lifting of the moratorium on the death penalty. As one of the examples in which, in his opinion, the use of the death penalty is permissible, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee cited the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall.

Home Front: Politix
Biden spent billions to delay Medicare premiums spike, protect Harris campaign before election
[JustTheNews] Seniors groups warn that Biden budget gimmickry means "taxpayers are footing the bill today, seniors will pay the price tomorrow."

Democrats were confronted earlier this year with a terrifying reality: a cap on out-of-pocket costs for patients to limit Medicare drug spending passed as part of Biden’s signature Inflation Reduction Act was set to spike premiums for millions of senior citizens just weeks before the 2024 presidential election.

To avoid the political catastrophe of presiding over major premium increases in the middle of a closely contested election, the Biden-Harris administration used its authority to reroute appropriated funding to subsidize the premiums for seniors until after the election.

The administration’s $5 billion budget gimmick kicked the proverbial can down the road, but only adds to the estimated possible $20 billion in additional spending over three years to cover up the unintended consequences of one of the Biden-Harris administration's signature laws.

While they free Democratic nominee Kamala Harris to tout the caps in her key economic plan for the middle class, the subsidies will cost taxpayers and seniors in the long run.

“They created a new program that's going to send billions to health insurance companies… to temporarily offset the premium increases,” Rebecca Weber, the CEO of the Association for Mature American Citizens (AMAC) told the John Solomon Reports podcast.

“One could really say that they're buying, you know, off big insurance companies right before an election. And taxpayers, this is important, that people understanding it, taxpayers are footing the bill today, seniors will pay the price tomorrow,” she added.

Medicare Part D premiums were slated to increase in October at the beginning of open enrollment following pressure on insurance companies generated by the Inflation Reduction Act’s caps on drug prices—one of the Biden-Harris Administration’s signature legislative initiatives.

This could have spelled political disaster for Democrats and their nominee, who bragged that she cast the tie-breaking vote on the legislation.

But the administration swooped in to prevent the catastrophe. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced in July a new program to stabilize the premiums, called a demonstration. This program would shell out a total of approximately $5 billion in subsidies for insurance companies to cover the costs of capping prices and other effects of the Inflation Reduction Act.

Before the subsidies, the price cap plan was already set to balloon federal spending after the Congressional Budget Office found the Inflation Reduction Act’s financial impacts were underestimated.

The analysis, requested by Republican critics of the administration’s plans, said the changes made to Medicare by the act would likely cause the new average plan bid for standard Part D coverage to increase by a whopping 179% for 2025 without intervention.

“CBO expects that the additional plan costs reflected in those bids will result in an increase in federal spending of $10 billion to $20 billion in calendar year 2025, compared with our earlier projections,” the CBO said.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Daughter found guilty of murdering and dismembering mom, burning body on a barbecue grill
[NYPOST] A sick Maryland woman has been found guilty of murdering her mother — then getting her daughter to help hack up the body and try to get rid of it by grilling parts on a garden barbecue.

Candace Craig, 45, was on Friday found guilty after an eight-day trial of first-degree murder, second-degree murder and tampering with evidence and disposing of a body in an unauthorized place, WUSA9 reported.

Her 71-year-old mom, Margaret Craig, had confronted her for committing credit card fraud in June 2023 — and was choked to death when she threatened to turn in her daughter to the police.

Candace Craig then roped in one of her own three children, 19-year-old daughter Salia Hardy, to dispose of the body, with the teen testifying against her mom after pleading guilty earlier this year to her own role in the gruesome crime.

Hardy said she found her grandmother's body stuffed inside a blue plastic container in her bedroom in Hyattsville — and then helped her mom chop up the body with a chainsaw and then try to dispose of some of it by grilling body parts on a grill in the backyard.

The grandma had already been dead for more than a week when police found her rotting remains while conducting a welfare check after alarmed neighbors reported not seeing her.

The killer daughter allowed officers into the home and basement — where they immediately smelled ''decomposition'' and saw blood spatter around white plastic trash bags.

The bags held ''what appeared to be brain matter'' and Margaret Craig's mutilated remains — with cops also finding cutting tools and a chainsaw, with the latter still covered with human remains.

Fifth Column
Atlanta Jews on high alert as anti-Israel group Stop Cop City goes national
[IsraelTimes] Progressive movements mix anti-capitalist and anti-police messages with antisemitic tropes while diverse far-left causes band together under the anti-Israel banner.

As the ongoing war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
fuels a wave of demonstrations across American cities and college campuses, protesters are taking advantage of this moment to sound off against Israel, the police, and more.

One of the hot spots where the recent protests have met and merged is Atlanta, where opposition to a new police and fire training complex — dubbed "Cop City" by its detractors — has been joined by anti-Israel protesters, who say there’s a deep link between Atlanta’s new Public Safety Training Center and the Israel-Hamas

war.

A field of signage protesting the training complex illustrates the confluence of opposition: "End Genocide in Gaza"; "Cut Ties with Israel" and "Stop Police Brutality." In a show of unity, the signs culminate with "Killer Cops, KKK, Zionists — all the same."

The anti-capitalist, anti-police, anti-Israel, and antisemitic agenda, language, and style of the US protest movements are taken out of an enduring political playbook, says Jonathan Sarna, professor of American Jewish History at Brandeis University near Boston.

"If you are in favor of one progressive cause, you have to be in favor of them all," Sarna says. "The price of admission to extreme progressive circles often is a statement against Israel, against Zionism." The anti-police movement, he adds, has linked itself up with all the other progressive causes.

The phenomenon has spread across the country. "The fight against Cop City and for Paleostinian liberation are both frontiers in the same struggle against the mechanisms of state-sanctioned violence and oppression," reads a statement by student protest organizers at Emory University in Atlanta.

The ongoing military conflict in the Gaza Strip broke out on October 7, 2023, when thousands of Hamas-led Death Eaters stormed over the border and slaughtered 1,200 men, women, and children in southern Israel and kidnapped 251 to the Gaza Strip. Almost immediately after the Hamas massacre, anti-Israel protest movements sprouted across the globe, including in Atlanta.

US-ISRAELI LAW ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM UNDER ATTACK
The Atlanta activists’ prime target is the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange (GILEE), a center at Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. Based in Atlanta, the center has organized global law enforcement exchanges for over 30 years. The signature program is in cooperation with Israel.

GILEE has become the connective piece between the anti-Israel and anti-police protests.

Today, signs saying "Stop GILEE," "Abolish GILEE," and "Shut GILEE down" are a familiar sight at anti-Israel and Stop Cop City rallies in Atlanta and beyond. In the eyes of the protesters, GILEE serves as a perfect conduit for Atlanta police to carry out their "subversive" mission — importing militarized policing and urban warfare tactics from Israel into the US and vice versa to control the oppressed of the world.

"US military and coppers train with military and coppers globally in a colossal network of force and violence," reads an essay published by Security in Context, a self-described research network.

A number of Stop Cop City activists barricaded themselves in tree houses, set police cars on fire, attacked officers with Molotov cocktails, and vandalized construction equipment. During a January 2023 raid to clear protesters off the land, one of them was shot by a Georgia state trooper under circumstances that have become the topic of debate.

To date, the state has indicted 61 protesters with violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. Some face additional charges including vandalism and arson. Several dozen have also been arrested for domestic terrorism. Some human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
organizations, like Human Rights Watch (HRW) and The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), have called the charges draconian, disproportionate and overreaching.
The human rights orgs are wrong. Though the proper punishment following conviction of these crimes is a public horsewhipping.
Protest organizers contacted for this article did not return requests for comment. Representatives for GILEE declined to be interviewed.

Opposition against GILEE isn’t new. In 2018, the anti-Zionist organization Jewish Voice for Peace
I would dearly love to know what small percent of that particular population has either Jewish DNA or a Jewish upbringing, and what considerably larger percentage are just cosplaying juices for public consumption…
published a report called "Deadly Exchange." It claims that exchange programs for senior coppers — including GILEE and another program organized by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) — "promote and extend discriminatory and repressive policing practices that already exist in both countries."

GILEE was founded in 1992 by Robert Friedmann, a professor emeritus of criminal justice at Georgia State. To date, more than 1,300 senior coppers from 25 countries have participated in over 300 exchanges. According to its website, GILEE provides "leadership development programs to law enforcement executives," where participants share best practices in policing and innovative ideas on public safety and homeland security.

"There is no hands-on tactical training" at any GILEE program, Friedmann said in a 2022 interview with The Times of Israel. The GILEE website is clear that the program is not a police academy or a law enforcement agency, and GILEE doesn’t train with the military in the US, Israel, or any other country.

GILEE and the new Atlanta Public Safety Training Center are both focused on increasing police professionalism. The new training campus, as well as global exchange programs like GILEE, are critical investments in public safety, says Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum, a GILEE graduate.

Being exposed to different law enforcement agencies in Israel and around the world has helped his department’s leadership "to focus on recruiting diversity into the police ranks, remain apolitical within the organization, and develop a training infrastructure that reflects ethical, community-based policing," Schierbaum says.

Police leaders participating in GILEE exchanges often glean ideas that, directly or indirectly, inspire, inform, or shape their own policies. In 2021, when calls for police reform grew louder, the police department in the Georgia town of LaGrange rolled out a new use-of-force training policy called "Shoot to Incapacitate," which focused on de-escalation and was inspired by a GILEE program in Israel. The policy sparked a nationwide discussion.

Sometimes, the takeaways are less tangible but still powerful. Andrew Senzer traveled to Israel twice with GILEE. The recently retired deputy chief of the Atlanta Police Department particularly remembers his visit in 2021 when he spent a week shadowing an Israeli police district commander in the predominantly Arab village of Abu Ghosh.

"Community policing is critically important for the Israel Police, and it happens under tough circumstances," says Senzer. After all, he adds, "Israel faces existential threats every day, and it has a very multi-ethnic population."

When opposition over the new public safety training center erupted in 2021, and anti-Israel activists joined the fight in late 2023, Senzer didn’t allow himself to get too involved in the protesters’ radical messaging. Putting on his professional veneer as a cop worked for the most part, he says.

"But personally, I was incredulous," adds Senzer, who is Jewish. He says he never thought that blatant antisemitism would be possible and accepted in the United States. He was mostly concerned for the safety of his three college-aged kids.

"It was unsettling. It was frightening," he says.

A HATE AS OLD AS TIME
Much of the language, arguments, and tactics of the anti-Israel and anti-police protest movements are taken "stock and barrel out of the old Soviet Union manuals," says Sarna.
Fascinating.
The rhetoric used by activists and their supporters includes slogans like "the ruling class forces behind Cop City," "the police-military continuum," or "an international system of repression that functions to secure US imperial interests."

Mixed in are centuries-old antisemitic tropes — like the one of Jews being agents and benefactors of international finance. An article in the left-wing media outlet Truthout argues that GILEE and the Atlanta Public Safety Center, through the nonprofit Atlanta Police Foundation, "have an overlapping network of wealthy and corporate backers, some of whom are outspoken in defending Israel" — donors like Jewish philanthropist Bernie Marcus, co-founder of The Home Depot, an Atlanta-based home improvement retail chain.
As opposed the Antifa/black bloc anarcho-syndicalists, who are funded by an overlapping network of extremely wealthy backers, some of whom are outspoken about attacking Israel.
There’s misinformation and disinformation, and often, the framing justifies the narrative. For example, the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) writes in an undated report titled "Bigotry and Brutality in Foreign Police Training" that "[a]mong other things, GILEE has taught that officers should inspire fear by ’racking’ their firearms when they unholster them, which is a common tactic that Israeli officers use against unarmed Paleostinian protesters."

To those unfamiliar with Israeli firearms policy, this may seem like intimidation tactics. Yet it is a fact that police in Israel carry their handguns with a loaded magazine and an empty chamber, requiring them to rack the slide as they draw and point the weapon. The reason behind the practice, known as "Israeli carry," is safety — to prevent an accidental discharge.

BAD ACTORS
The story doesn’t stop in Atlanta, and it doesn’t stop with GILEE. It has gone national and global. "Free Paleostine" and "Stop Cop City" have become synchronized battle cries at rallies from New York to Los Angeles and wherever police plan to build new major training facilities.

According to Sarna, there’s increasing evidence that the money for the protests comes from governments or individuals "who are looking to stir up dissent in the US, undermine American society and implement a system change."

In Atlanta, most of the protesters charged with domestic terrorism were from out of state, and some from other countries such as Canada and La Belle France, according to the Georgia Attorney General’s Office.

Recent articles in the Wall Street Journal and Commentary detail how an opaque network of activist groups and shell organizations is used by bad actors in China, Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and some Arab countries to fund and control antisemitic and anti-police protests in the US.

In July, Avril Haines, director of National Intelligence in the US, issued a statement saying that "Iranian government actors have sought to opportunistically take advantage of the ongoing protests regarding the war in Gaza... posing as activists, seeking to encourage protests, and even providing financial support to protesters."

JEWISH INSTITUTIONS HUNKERING DOWN
The long-term effects of the connected protests are unknown, but the current impact is real.

In Atlanta, Jewish and Israeli institutions — from synagogues to schools to diplomatic missions — are on increased alert. Many have "hardened the security of their facilities, hired more security personnel and requested active threat training," says Brian Davis, director of the Secure Community Network (SCN) in Atlanta. SCN is the official safety and security organization for the Jewish community in North America.

The number of events where Jewish institutions had to engage with local, state, or federal police has more than tripled since 2022, says Davis, in Atlanta and nationwide.

According to city officials, the costs for the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center have increased by $19 million due to heightened security measures, litigation, and a spike in insurance rates. Protesters have destroyed about $10 million worth of construction equipment and other property across metro Atlanta.

Atlanta Police Chief Schierbaum says most of the protests have been peaceful and legal.
Define most in this context, please. Ditto peaceful and legal.
But the joint response to those that weren’t peaceful helped his department hone its collaboration with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies as well as corporate security, he says. "I’ve seen us coordinate at a very high level," says Schierbaum.

Over the next few weeks, a smooth-running security cooperation may be crucial. The city is preparing for another wave of protests as the war in Gaza continues, the outcome of the highly charged presidential elections could lead to unrest, and construction of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center comes to completion.

Schierbaum remains undeterred. "We will cut the ribbon in December and make sure the center’s operations are in no way stopped or detoured."

Minnesota Somali leaders endorse Trump, say Democratic Party ‘left us'
Wow. He really closed the deal there. Love him or hate him, to be able to carry both the Zionists and the Moslems — that is impressive.
[AlphaNews] Their reasons included concerns about public safety, educational opportunities, and the struggling economy—issues they claim the Democratic Party has failed to address.

Somali leaders held a press conference over the weekend endorsing President Donald Trump, and so far no local mainstream TV outlet has covered it—despite Minnesota being home to the largest Somali population in the country, including high-profile figures like Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar.

During the nearly hour-long press conference, more than 10 community leaders took to the podium, explaining why they’re backing Trump for another term.

Their reasons included concerns about public safety, educational opportunities, and the struggling economy—issues they claim the Democratic Party has failed to address.

"Our conditions are horrible. We can’t afford anything as working class and middle class people," said Mohamed Ahmed. "Now please understand this, we love our brothers and sisters who are Democrats, but you left us."

Other speakers echoed Ahmed’s frustration, with one accusing the Democratic Party of becoming the party of billionaires and war, while another praised Trump’s past economic policies and his promise to end ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.

"Under Donald J. Trump, the economy was a lot better than what we have right now," said one speaker. "We are being lied to [about] inflation rates, employment rates, education rates, and housing rates. This is not acceptable."

As Alpha News reported, this isn’t the first indication that some Somali voters in Minnesota are turning to Trump.

Salman Fiqy, a small business owner who recently ran in the Republican primary for a seat in the Minnesota House, previously joined Liz Collin Reports to explain why more Somali Americans are backing conservative candidates, citing concerns about education, the economy, and public safety.

"Also coming from a Muslim faith, we tend to be very conservative people and some of the issues we cannot really turn a blind eye to, we cannot ignore some of the issues," he said. "We have shared values and interests with the Republican Party. I don’t really care about the backlash."

Protestor Tried to Take Police Sidearm at Violent Pro-Palestine Demo
The Antifa/Black Bloc-Hamas/jihadi nexus.
[Breitbart] A protester tried to take the sidearm of a Berlin police officer as they attempted to shut down a violent pro-Palestine march through Berlin on Saturday, with police now saying they have launched dozens of criminal investigations into the rally.

A pro-Palestine march through the Kreuzberg district of Berlin on Saturday may have been small with an estimated 720 attendees, but its attendees apparently had an outsized dedication to their cause, with police attacked and 36 criminal investigations launched.

Local newspaper Berliner Kurier states police officers at the demonstration were attacked, had glass bottles thrown at them, with eight injured through the night. It is stated “forbidden slogans” were chanted several times — Germany has strict speech control laws compared to many western states, a legacy of its 20th century experience — prompting police to exclude 95 from the march altogether for antisemitic statements.

In cases where police arrested protest participants, other marchers attempted to free their compatriots from police custody, Die Welt reports, creating another flashpoint. Eventually, police attempted to shut down the march altogether in the early evening, before its originally stated end time, with many refusing to comply and having to be “pushed and shoved” by officers to get the point across.

Later that evening, around 35 participants of the original protest gathered again and attacked police when told to disperse. One attempted to snatch “an officer’s service weapon”.

Police said in a press conference about the violence on Sunday that they had launched 36 criminal investigations, including “attempted aggravated theft of firearms” — for the would-be pistol snatcher — as well as physical harm, attacks on law officers, aiding and abetting the escape of a prisoner, the use of symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organisations, and incitement to hatred.

Relatively extreme expressions of pro-Palestine sentiment have been an emerging phenomenon in the Germany in the year since the October terrorist attacks in Israel. As previously reported earlier this year one such demonstration in Leipzig attended by Greta Thunberg saw a local journalist dispatched to cover the event followed and beaten, it was claimed, by one of the stewards of the event.

Also this year was an attempt to disrupt an annual remembrance event at German death camp Auschwitz, in what was then occupied Poland, by pro-Palestine activists.

A major pro-Palestine protest in Berlin just days after the Israel attack in 2023 which authorities attempted to ban but which saw hundreds take to the streets and riot in defiance of the order led to dozens of officers being injured. The riot followed the firebombing of a synagogue in Berlin the same day and saw 174 arrests were made and 65 police officers injured, with several vehicles burnt out.

#1  a violent hamas support march. Not "pro-palestine". Supporting Hamas.

You could accurately call it "pro-Palestine" if they also called for Hamas to surrender in order to save the civilians. But they don't. Therefore they support hamas.

GOOD LUCK TOMORROW I'm really thinking of you in the US and really hoping it's all going to turn out OK and no riots

#4  ...and no riots

Sorry Anon1, but those rioters have already received their down payments from Soros and the DNC and are expected to perform their duties.

#5  Here in Butler County, Ohio, in the exurbs of Cincinnati — former Speaker of the House John Boehner’s old stomping grounds — the poll workers say it has been absolutely calm, with a steady flow of voters. While I was there, filling out a provisional vote because my driver’s license expired last month, four first time voters were cheered by all present. Interestingly, all four were young men.

It was very comforting to me that only an Ohio photo ID, a passport, or a US military photo ID are acceptable in Ohio for voting. It used to be that a birth certificate and a proof of residence were accepted, but clearly they’ve tightened up.
