[Rudaw] Iraqi warplanes on Wednesday targeted a suspected Islamic State (ISIS) hideout in Salahaddin province, killing several members of the group, the country’s security forces announced.
The air force “They targeted this terrorist squad that was hiding inside a cave… with F-16 aircraft, turning the targeted area into rubble over the heads of the terrorists and killing them,” the Security Media Cell said in a statement.
The cave was located in the Shay valley in the eastern Salahaddin operations command sector, according to the statement.
The strike in territories disputed between the federal Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is the latest in an ongoing effort by Baghdad to rid the country of ISIS cells in areas where a security vacuum allows them to operate.
[IsraelTimes] A Palestinian suspected of carrying out a deadly shooting attack in the West Bank 17 years ago was detained by troops, Israeli defense authorities say.
In a joint statement, the IDF, Israel Police and Shin Bet say that the detained Palestinian, Ali Dandis, is suspected of carrying out the 2007 Nahal Telem shooting, in which two off-duty soldiers, Ahikam Amihai and David Rubin, were killed while on a hike.
Dandis is also suspected of carrying out a shooting attack in 2012, which did not cause any injuries, according to the Shin Bet.
Dandis and another assailant had turned themselves in to the Palestinian Authority security forces following the attack. The PA sentenced them to 15 years in prison.
Dandis was held in a PA jail for several years, and he was detained earlier today in Bethlehem by members of police’s elite Yamam unit, after he was found to be outside of jail, according to the Shin Bet.
[IsraelTimes] The IDF says the alerts that sounded across central Israel, sending millions to bomb shelters in the middle of the night, were triggered by a single missile fired from Yemen.
The projectile was intercepted outside Israel’s airspace, and the alarms were activated for fear of falling debris, the military says.
The Magen David Adom ambulance service says 18 people were lightly hurt while rushing to a bomb shelter, and two people suffered acute anxiety attacks.

[IsraelTimes] Security forces launch operation in Alawite-majority Tartus region, erstwhile stronghold of fallen Assad government, after attack on police blamed on Assad supporters
Syria’s new authorities on Thursday launched a security crackdown in a coastal region where 14 coppers were killed a day before, vowing to pursue "remnants" of the ousted Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Light of the Alawites... government accused of the attack, state media reported.
The violence in Tartus province, part of the coastal region that is home to many members of Assad’s Alawite sect, has marked the deadliest challenge yet to the Sunni Islamist-led authorities that swept him from power on December 8.
The new administration’s security forces launched the operation to "control security, stability, and civil peace and to pursue the remnants of Assad’s militias in the woods and hills" in Tartus’s rural areas, state news agency SANA reported.
Members of the Alawite minority, an offshoot of Shia Islam, wielded huge sway in Assad-led Syria, dominating security forces he used against his opponents during the 13-year-long civil war as well as to crush dissent during decades of bloody oppression by his police state.
Reflecting tensions with a sectarian edge, protesters chanted "Oh Ali!" during a rally outside local government headquarters in Tartus, images posted on social media Wednesday showed. Rooters verified the location of the images.
The chant was a reference to Ali ibn Abi Talib, a cousin of the Prophet Mohammed who is revered by Moslems but held in especially high regard by Alawites and Shiites, who believe Ali and his descendants should have led the Islamic community.
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State... , the former al-Qaeda affiliate that led the rebel campaign that toppled Assad, has repeatedly vowed to protect minority religious groups, who fear the new rulers could seek to impose a conservative form of Islamist government.
SANA reported that Mohammed Othman, the newly appointed governor of the coastal Latakia region that adjoins the Tartus area, met Alawite sheikhs to "encourage community cohesion and civil peace on the Syrian coast."
UNREST IN HOMS
The Syrian information ministry declared a ban on what it described as "the circulation or publication of any media content or news with a sectarian tone aimed at spreading division" among Syrians.
The Syrian civil war took on sectarian dimensions as Assad drew on Shiite militias from across the Middle East, mobilized by his ally Iran, to battle the insurgency dominated by members of the Sunni Moslem majority, many of them Islamists.
Dissent has also surfaced in the city of Homs, 150 kilometers (90 miles) north of Damascus. State media reported that police imposed an overnight curfew on Wednesday night, following unrest linked to demonstrations that residents said were led by members of the Alawite and Shiite religious communities.
Footage posted on social media on Wednesday from Homs showed a crowd of people scattering and some of them running as gunfire was heard. Rooters verified the location. It was not clear who was firing.

Syria’s newly appointed foreign minister, Asaad Hassan al-Shibani, said in a social media post on Tuesday that Iran must respect the will of the Syrian people and Syria’s illusory sovereignty and security.

Hamas changed the rules on 10/7. That the New York Times — which ignored the Nazi Holocaust, too — misses that point is telling. That some of those wearing the IDF uniform also miss it is troubling, but that’s of a piece with the idiots prioritizing anti-government protests even though it provides comfort to the same enemy that is holding the captives prisoner.
[IsraelTimes] Officers could endanger up to 20 civilians to kill a low-level fighter in immediate aftermath of Hamas attack, report says, and often hit targets selected partly using AI tools
The Israeli military significantly loosened its rules of engagement in the wake of the October 7, 2023, Hamas ..a regional Iranian catspaw,... attack, letting officers approve striking targets in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Strip that had been low-priority or off-limits in earlier wars, and allowing strikes that endangered more civilians than had previously been tolerated for similar targets, according to an investigation published Thursday in The New York Times
...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... The investigation, which cited more than 100 soldiers and officials, including some 25 who helped plan, vet, or approve strikes, echoed some previous reports alleging widespread use of artificial intelligence software to select targets, as well as claims that a few strikes that targeted Hamas leaders endangered more than 100 noncombatants each. If you believe the New York Times on anything they say
The Israel Defense Forces, responding to the article, confirmed that its rules of engagement had changed when the war broke out, but maintained that all practices remained consistent with international law.
The military also emphasized the unique nature of the fighting in Gaza, where terror operatives fight from within populated areas and exploit an extensive tunnel system beneath the enclave. The fighting also occurred as Hamas held some 251 hostages, 100 of whom remain in captivity.
According to The New York Times, Israeli military leadership issued an order at 1 p.m. on Oct. 7 — as the Hamas invasion was ongoing — that granted mid-ranking officers authority to target low-ranking Hamas fighters, and allowed them to risk killing up to 20 civilians in each strike. These were far looser rules of engagement than had been the policy during previous rounds of fighting against the terror group, The Times reported.
In previous wars against Hamas, many strikes were only approved once it was concluded that no civilians at all would be harmed, while other strikes endangered up to five, the report said. Ten or more civilians would be endangered for the sake of killing a combatant only on rare occasions, according to the report.
The newspaper said that after the initial loosening of the rules of engagement, Israel tightened them again on November 5, 2023, requiring officers to seek special permission to endanger more than 10 civilians when striking low-ranking terror operatives who did not pose an imminent threat to Israeli troops. By late January, the report said, officers needed special permission "for nearly all such deadly strikes, except for those targeting the most senior Hamas commanders."
The report also said that whereas previous wars saw the military target murderous Moslem and sites that had been researched and selected far in advance, the pace of Israel’s offensive against Hamas in the wake of its cross-border onslaught meant the existing target banks were quickly depleted after October 7, and many new targets were selected with comparatively little research beforehand, sometimes with the aid of artificial intelligence programs.
The AI software used to select targets relied in part on cell phone usage rates and similar, relatively low-resolution metrics to establish the number of civilians in an area, rather than long-term surveillance of a particular building, as Israel used in earlier campaigns, the report said.
The IDF told the paper that "officers always verified the information provided" by AI systems, and denied that AI tools were anything more than a "starting point" of the target selection process. The report asserted, however, that the verification process changed from unit to unit, according to multiple officers.
The Times said Israel also made less use of warnings to urge civilians to flee before a strike, including "roof knocks," in which a small-load explosive is detonated on the roof of a building before a bomb with destructive power is dropped on the same location. According to the report, the IDF’s high command made roof knocks optional within hours of Hamas’s invasion.
It further said the IDF dropped larger bombs on Gaza targets than it had in previous wars, including 1,000 and 2,000-pound bombs, which made up 90% of the munitions dropped in the war’s first two weeks.
A senior military official who spoke to the newspaper noted that heavy munitions were often required to damage Hamas’s tunnels deep underground.
In its report, The Times contrasted two strikes that targeted the same senior Hamas commander, Shaldan al-Najjar: the first in August 2014, during Israel’s last ground war against Hamas in Gaza, and the second on October 10, 2023, three days after the terror group’s attack last year.
In 2014, Israel took stringent precautions to avoid civilian casualties — warning Najjar’s neighbors three times to escape, then conducting a "roof knock" — and indeed no one was harmed at all in the strike, including Najjar himself. By contrast, when Israel targeted the terror operative in 2023, Najjar was killed alongside 20 members of his extended family, according to the report.
In another strike detailed by The Times, some 42 people were killed when Israel struck a residential building while targeting a Hamas tunnel in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City on November 16, 2023.
At the time, the neighborhood was largely depopulated — Israel had called on all residents of northern Gaza to evacuate south in advance of the IDF’s ground operation — and The Times noted that if Israel assessed the building’s occupancy based on cell phone usage in the area, it may have significantly underestimated the strike’s risk to civilians.
Some officers began to "sound the alarm," the report said, with air force analysts urging as early as November 2023 to use more drone surveillance to check for civilians in areas that had been marked for strikes, but it said "little to no action was taken" in this regard.
Citing "11 officers involved in target selection," the paper said the military rarely made an effort to count how many civilians had been killed in each strike.
The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry says more than 45,000 people in the Strip have been killed or are presumed dead in the fighting so far, though the toll cannot be verified and does not differentiate between civilians and fighters. Israel says it has killed some 18,000 combatants in battle as of November and another 1,000 forces of Evil inside Israel on October 7.
Israel has said it seeks to minimize civilian fatalities and stresses that Hamas uses Gaza’s civilians as human shields, fighting from civilian areas including homes, hospitals, schools, and mosques.
Israel’s toll in the ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza and in military operations along the border with the Strip stands at 392.
[FoxNews] New York legislation was inspired by state and federal superfund laws.
Today New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed into law the Climate Change Superfund Act, which will charge oil and gas firms an estimated $75 billion over the next 25 years. The controversial measure, sponsored by Senator Liz Krueger and Assembly Member Jeffrey Dinowitz, is modeled on federal and state superfund laws, which charge firms accused of pollution.
While environmental groups heralded the legislation, business groups argued that it will increase the cost of doing business in the state and that consumers will ultimately bear the brunt in terms of higher energy prices.
"The Climate Change Superfund Act is now law," said Senator Krueger. "Too often over the last decade, courts have dismissed lawsuits against the oil and gas industry by saying that the issue of climate culpability should be decided by legislatures. Well, the Legislature of the State of New York – the 10th largest economy in the world – has accepted the invitation, and I hope we have made ourselves very clear: the planet’s largest climate polluters bear a unique responsibility for creating the climate crisis, and they must pay their fair share to help regular New Yorkers deal with the consequences."
However, critics have deemed the bill impractical and contend that it will be subject to protracted legal challenges.
"What would you have them do? Not sell fuel in New York State," said Ken Pokalsky, vice president of the New York State Business Council.
A group of business and industry leaders also lambasted the measure: "This legislation is bad public policy that raises significant implementation questions and constitutional concerns. Moreover, its $75 billion price tag will result in unintended consequences and increased costs for households and businesses."
However, Gov. Hochul heralded the legislation as a victory for the state's citizens, stating that the funds will be used for climate mitigation efforts.
"This bill would allow the state to recoup $75 billion from major polluters…For too long New Yorkers have borne the costs of the climate crisis, which is impacting every part of the state."
The bill will result in significant assessments for both domestic and foreign energy producers, with Saudi Aramco of Saudi Arabia likely facing the largest charge at $640 million a year, while state-owned Mexican firm Pemex will be looking at a $193 million annual charge.
Russia's Lukoil will likely face charges of around $100 million per year.
The assessments are based on estimated yearly CO2 emissions, measured in millions of tons of greenhouse gases.
In total, 38 firms deemed carbon polluters will be on the hook, including American oil giants Exxon and Chevron, the UK's Shell and BP, and Brazil's Petrobras.
Critics of the legislation have also noted the potential difficulty in collecting the stipulated assessments from foreign firms.
The bill is also concerning consumer advocacy groups in light of its implementation in conjunction with other new measures which stand to greatly affect commuters and consumers:
"We also note this measure would come on the heels of the reinstatement of congestion pricing in New York City, and in advance of the Environmental Department’s pending `cap and invest’ rule, which combined will also impose billions of dollars in new assessments on fossil fuel usage, impacting a wide range of consumers," stated bill opponents.

NY's theory, and it might be correct, is that the energy companies will have to raise their prices worldwide to pay the NY taxes; thus NY will, in effect, get subsidized by all energy consumers worldwide.

[Townhall] High Levels of Radiation Detected Across the East Coast After Mysterious Drone Sightings.
Radiation levels have dramatically increased in New York City after the “mysterious” drone sightings were discovered hovering around the East Coast in recent weeks. The new revelations result in officials warning Americans to “prepare for the worst.”
According to GQ Electronics' Geiger Counter World Map, high emissions levels were detected near the Bronx and the Upper West Side of New York City. The radiation reading scale measured 1048 counts-per-minute (CPM), or the number of particles detected. This exceeds the average number of particles detected by the 200 counts-per-minute safety threshold. In comparison, the average person is usually exposed to background radiation that measures about five to 60 CPM.
Author of Plan Red: China's Project to Destroy America, Gordon Chang, told Forbes that the drones could be associated with the area's high radiation levels.
“There have been reports of spikes and radiation in the New York metropolitan area,” Chang said. “Two of them, one on each side of the Hudson. That leads to the conclusion that maybe they're looking for an implanted nuclear weapon.”
Chang compared the current drone fiasco to the 2023 Chinese spy balloon crisis spotted in U.S. airspace, saying that in both instances, there was an“apparent failure of the federal government— both the military and the president to protect the American people.”
“When you talk about radiation, clearly this could be one of the things that the drones are doing,” Chang continued. “And that would explain why they're over residential areas because the device could be planted in one of those places.”
He criticized outgoing President Joe Biden for refusing to address the recent drone sightings and failing to give Americans proper briefings on the situation. Chang said it’s time for the “president of the United States to actually address the American people and tell us what the federal government knows and what it doesn’t know.”
The country would not be prepared in the event of a potential “dirty bomb” being detonated on U.S. ground, he explained. Chang said that if something like that were to happen, the country would be thrown into a chaotic situation and cause sheer panic in people, adding that for at least some time, the government would be unable to take care of the American people.
“So, people need to be able to have enough food enough water they need iodine pills – this is not a conversation that the American people have had for a very very long time,” he went on, adding that the U.S. has become too complacent living in peace, but pointed out that the nation has not been peaceful for quite some time.
At the same time, there have been reports of missing radioactive materials in New Jersey. Mayor Michael Melham expressed concern over a damaged shipment of medical devices, but authorities declared it a “non-emergency.”

[World Tribune] Though he retired at the end of 2022, Anthony Fauci continued to receive taxpayer-funded security via the U.S. Marshals Service. Those personal security people would have come in mighty handy at the recent Butler, PA presidential assination attempt.
The ex-White House Covid czar cost U.S. taxpayers $15 million via his government-funded security detail.
That security detail has come to an end even though Fauci insists his life is still in danger.
During his book tour last summer, Fauci, 83, said he worried "Deep down, that there’s a possibility that somebody’s gonna kill me."
Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul said Fauci should never have been provided the taxpayer-funded security detail.
"I’ve had 34 death threats in a week before. I have had death threats as soon as this last week," Paul said. "So we get them all the time, and nobody picks me up in a limo and takes me to where I want to go every day."
"The only other person probably getting his level of security would be the president, vice president, maybe cabinet members, and a few members in leadership in the House and Senate," Paul added.
The Daily Mail reported on Dec. 23 that the huge group of U.S. Marshals that were spotted at his home earlier this year were replaced by what appeared to be several private security bodyguards.
"Over the summer, there were at least six U.S. Marshals with a fleet of vehicles parked in Fauci’s neighborhood," the report said. "The agents were ready for whenever he wanted to leave his property — which according to real estate websites is worth around $2.2 million."
Alabama Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville told the Daily Mail: "I think we need to look at all security details," referring to the incoming efforts by DOGE. He added that it made "no sense" for Fauci to have that level of security.
Fauci had continually denied that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) had funded dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan, China lab where the Covid pandemic likely originated.
But, in May of this year, NIH principal deputy director Lawrence Tabak confirmed during congressional testimony that the U.S. government had indeed funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which modified coronaviruses shortly before the outbreak began in late 2019.
After Tabak’s testimony, Elon Musk demanded the arrest and prosecution of Fauci.
"Prosecute/Fauci," Musk said his pronouns were in a post to X at the time.
Rutgers University molecular biologist Richard Ebright, Ph.D., a frequent critic of gain-of-function research, told The Defender:
"Fauci perjured himself in three U.S. Senate hearings in 2021-2022, in which he denied — knowingly, willfully, and brazenly untruthfully — that NIH funded gain-of-function research and enhanced potential pandemic pathogens research in Wuhan.
"Fauci perjured himself again in his transcribed interview with the U.S. House Select Subcommittee, in which he lied about the coverage of the policies, lied about his violations of the policies, and lied about his perjury before the Senate."
Francis Boyle, J.D., Ph.D., professor of international law at the University of Illinois, told The Defender, "Fauci has already lied and perjured himself before Congress. He should have been prosecuted already. You cannot believe one word he is saying."
Boyle, a bioweapons expert who drafted the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, said Fauci "knew about the Chinese lab leak all along and covered it up right from the very get-go around September of 2019."
Fauci "has lied about it ever since then and about everything related to the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccines in order to cover up his own criminality," Boyle said.

As much as I dislike the A-hole.
Protect him so he can stand trial for mass murder.
Because, he needs to be kept alive, to answer for the over 1 million US deaths (10m worldwide), that he and yes OTHERS are responsible for, at his TV broadcasted trial.
We need to hear answers to:
WHO approved, supported, funded and deliberately lied to the public on many key issues about this Illegal US BIO Weapon Lab in the Communist China of all places?
For WHAT end game did the lab exist? WAS it Population control, or a political agenda reason or both?
HOW it leaked, or WAS it a planned release and for WHAT reasons?
WHY do these new viruses strangely pop up or happened during US election cycles? Like we have seen in several recent previous US election cycles.
WHO all decided to use the pandemic to violate basic Civil Rights.
WHO all decided to publish Fake Science that even HS school kids blogging disproved.
Who decide to punish those publishing REAL DATA/FACTS about the virus? Which allowed the DC Swamp and other government's Dictatorial controls, but then allowed large gatherings of radicals and perversion groups?

Some things, they really don't change all that much. Not exactly the same as Ukraine or Covid, but the US Dollar medium of exchange....unchanged:

Sure, the Trump Deportation process won't be cheap.
But the Trump Deportation Process will be a 10 Million times more humane and less cruel than the process the Liberals used to get 10.5 MILLION illegals here for political reasons.
The Liberal OPEN BORDERS process involved Deaths, murders, Adult and Child Sex Trafficking, Gang Rapes, Allowed in KNOWN Violent Criminals, 100x rug smuggling increase, allowed in KNOWN Criminals, Terrorists and pedophiles.
But like I said, it will be a 10 Million times more humane and less cruel than the LIBERAL OPEN BORDER Process.
The annual ICE report released Thursday shows that ICE deported 271,484 illegal immigrants to 192 different countries in fiscal year 2024. Of those, 32.7% had criminal histories and 237 were known or suspected terrorists.

Cut off the benefits. Once they are in the repatriate system they will be given food, care, and transport home. Pays for itself after a month.
On the other end, major fines for companies and people who continue in the flesh trade.
Run a PR campaign explaining why and the benefits of returning home and the penalty not to. That after a deportation hub is operational, those who have not returned will be sent to the transport hub and detained until the next available transport to said destination, and will be registered and prevented from returning to the United States for all reasons except criminal incarceration. Deportation Hub is family friendly, but very disciplined, except for those with gang tattoos, they get the prison treatment and hostile traveler protocols, and dropped off at home country jail.
Those who self return can option into a sort of Honest Pilgrim Program, where if they choose to visit or even immigrate legally at a future point, this is noted as a positive.
It isn't saving money, but it is sure spending a hell of a lot less after only a year.

Earlier this year, three children were arrested for robbing a Houston Wells Fargo bank.
Dubbed the 'little rascals' by the FBI, the culprits were aged just 11, 12 and 13 when they held up the bank on March 14.
Barf.
NN2N1, I'd put money down on the commonality being that during lockdown, they were part of that trend of teaching their children to dress and act the gangster.
Generation Lockdown is just starting to bear fruit.

The thing is huge, needs six engines to fly and with extra bits sticking out that means it has the radar cross-section of Rosie Odonell. Not too worried about it just like I'm not worried about their J-20.

I don't see how this weapon helps them against Taiwan. They already have a lot of airpower but the problem of getting an invading army across 100 miles of ocean doesn't get easier with this jet.
and as for threatening the USA homeland, they already have lots and lots of missiles.
Is this fighter jet just supposed to frighten Japan and the Philippines?

M'lord, don't underestimate the Chinese love of Grift.
[FoxNews] An internal memo reportedly shows Newsom's office is considering different ways to help undocumented immigrants.
Squirm, Governor, squirm!
California Gov. Gavin Newsom is reportedly considering a plan to help illegal immigrants and their families threatened by president-elect Trump's mass deportation plan.
A draft of the plan obtained by POLITICO, titled "Immigrant Support Network Concept," proposes the creation of an Immigrant Support Network comprised of regional hubs to "connect at-risk individuals, their families, and communities with community systems — such as legal services, schools, labor unions, local governments, etc."
Fox News Digital has reached out to Trump's representatives. Newsom's office told Fox News Digital that the draft was prepared by the California Department of Social Services and has not yet been reviewed in Sacramento.
"This document is an internal and deliberative draft document meant for internal discussions as part of a number of possible considerations given the incoming federal administration’s public remarks," Scott Murray, the Deputy Director, Public Affairs and Outreach Programs for the Department of Social Services, told Fox News Digital in a statement. "It is not a final proposal."
Especially now that the world has noticed.
The draft is part of an effort by California leaders to prepare for a second Trump administration. After Trump was elected, Newsom called a special legislative session and talked of a $25 million "Trump-proof" legal defense fund.
In addition, state lawmakers were lobbying for additional funds.
Senate Budget Chair Scott Wiener proposed legislation seeking $60 million, including funds to create an immigrant detention representation and coordination program, Politico reported.
Under the draft, the state Social Services Department would give state funds to eligible nonprofits and take on administrative duties for the hubs.
The draft does not indicate how much funding the plan requires. However, it said the funds would go toward "community outreach, partnership, legal services staffing positions, and approved administrative costs associated with hub operations," the Politico report said.
California currently faces a $68 billion budget deficit, according to the state's Legislative Analyst's Office. However, in November, the LAO said the state budget was roughly balanced.
On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the state Finance Department said November revenues came in $1 billion below the month's forecast.
"But it's not a lump of coal (it's a timing issue w/cash receipts)," H.D. Palmer, the principal spokesman on fiscal and financial issues for the Newsom Administration, posted on X. "Year to date, still nearly $4.3 billion above projections - and $7.5 billion up since April."

Perhaps Newsom ought to spend more time trying to balance the CA budget by declaring emergencies and shaking Biden down for cash. Why does FEMA need more money? Where did the first money go? CA? Trafficking illegals?

Becaus, if illegals are deported, who will occupy all that affordable housing that Newsom is building? And who will vote for him?

[NYPOST] Thousands of pallets of humanitarian aid stacked at the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... border — from sacks of flour to blankets and canned food — are awaiting delivery by relief organizations that are unwilling to send supply trucks likely to be looted by Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... Lions of Islam and other street criminals.
The aid, coming in on trucks from Jordan, Egypt and the West Bank, has already been inspected by the Israel Defense Forces before entering Gaza, where the international community and humanitarian organizations are in charge of delivering the assistance to Paleostinians.
But the path from the Israel-Gaza border to where the aid is needed in the central and north is long — and repeatedly targeted by violent mostly peaceful thieves.
At least one driver is shot each day in Gaza by looters forcibly stopping aid trucks to pull off whatever they can to make a profit in the middle of the devastated war zone, an IDF spokesperson told The Post. How Islamic
At least 1,100 trucks have gone into Gaza in December, IDF head of coordination and liaison administration for Gaza Col. Abdullah Halabi said, but it's unclear how many made it to their final destinations.
On Dec. 1, the United Nations ...an organization which on balance has done more bad than good, with the good not done well and the bad done thoroughly... Relief Workers Agency (UNRWA) announced its suspension of aid deliveries through Kerem Shalom, citing the taking of aid trucks by armed gangs.
''The road out of this crossing has not been safe for months,'' it said. ''The delivery of humanitarian aid must never be dangerous or turn into an ordeal.''
But instead of calling out the rampant violence, increasing its own security, or coordinating with other groups to get the aid where it's needed, the organization blamed Israel for causing the situation, citing its ''ongoing siege, political decisions to restrict the amounts of aid, lack of safety on aid routes and targeting of local police.''
They further claimed that it was Israel's responsibility to protect aid workers and supplies in Gaza before calling for a ceasefire UNRWA alleged would ''secure the delivery of safe and uninterrupted aid to people in need.''

[Regnum] At least 33 people have died as a result of the escape of more than 1,500 prisoners from the maximum-security central prison in Mozambique. This was reported on December 25 by the Portuguese agency Lusa.
It is specified that the prisoners managed to escape from the Machava prison, located 14 km from Maputo, during the riots that occurred after the announcement of the election results. As the Chief of Police of Mozambique Bernardino Raphael explained, the protesters came close to the prison walls and provoked unrest among the prisoners. In addition, about 30 convicts were in constant contact with armed groups.
During the escape, there were a number of clashes between prisoners and prison staff, and the escapees managed to seize weapons. As a result, 33 people were killed and 15 were injured. After the escape, with the support of the army, 150 prisoners were found and detained.
In total, according to the Ministry of Justice, there were more than 3 thousand convicts in prison, mostly for murder.
Mozambique held presidential and parliamentary elections in October. The winners were the ruling Frelimo party and its candidate for the post of head of state, Daniel Chapu. On December 23, the Constitutional Council proclaimed Chapu president, which caused discontent among the opposition, which claims that the results of the vote were falsified. Unrest has continued in the country for several days, accompanied by robberies, shootings and mass vandalism.
Earlier, Regnum news agency reported that Ecuadorian police and military personnel freed 24 prison guards and 17 administrative employees who had been taken hostage by prisoners during the riots.
On January 7, the security situation in Ecuador began to worsen, amid prison riots and the escape of gang leaders.
On January 8, Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa declared a state of emergency in the country for 60 days, and on January 9, a state of internal armed conflict. On the same day, armed men stormed the TC TV studio in Guayaquil and took the editorial staff hostage.
The hostage takers demanded to be allowed to go live on air. In addition, inmates in several Ecuadorian prisons took hostage more than 130 guards and employees of the institutions.
[FoxNews] The State Department’s foreign disinformation center, accused by conservatives of censoring U.S. citizens, shut its doors due to lack of funding this week.
Elon Musk had deemed the Global Engagement Center (GEC), established in 2016, the "worst offender in U.S. government censorship & media manipulation," and its funding was stripped as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the Pentagon’s yearly policy bill.
"The Global Engagement Center will terminate by operation of law [by the end of the day] on December 23, 2024," a State Department spokesperson said in a statement. "The Department of State has consulted with Congress regarding next steps."
Lawmakers had originally included funding for the GEC in its continuing resolution (CR), or bill to fund the government beyond a Friday deadline. But conservatives balked at that iteration of the funding bill, and it was rewritten without money for the GEC and other funding riders.
The agency had a budget of around $61 million and 120 people on staff. They'll burrow in somewhere else unless they're shown the door
At a time when adversaries like Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... and Russia sow disinformation throughout the world, Republicans saw little value in the agency’s work, arguing that much of its disinformation analysis is already offered by the private sector.
The GEC, according to news houndMatt Taibbi, "funded a secret list of subcontractors and helped pioneer an insidious — and idiotic — new form of blacklisting" during the pandemic.
Taibbi wrote last year when exposing the Twitter Files that the GEC "flagged accounts as ’Russian personas and proxies’ based on criteria like, ’Describing the Coronavirus as an engineered bioweapon,’ blaming ’research conducted at the Wuhan institute,’ and ’attributing the appearance of the virus to the CIA.’"
"State also flagged accounts that retweeted news that Twitter banned the popular U.S. website ZeroHedge, claiming that it 'led to another flurry of disinformation narratives.'" ZeroHedge had made reports speculating that the virus had a lab origin.
The GEC is part of the State Department but also partners with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Special Operations Command and the Department of Homeland Security. The GEC also funds the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab).
DFRLab Director Graham Brookie previously denied the claim that they use tax money to track Americans, saying its GEC grants have "an exclusively international focus."
A 2024 report from the Republican-led House Small Business Committee criticized the GEC for awarding grants to organizations whose work includes tracking domestic as well as foreign misinformation and rating the credibility of U.S.-based publishers, according to the Washington Post.
The lawsuit was brought by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, The Daily Wire and The Federalist, who sued the State Department, Secretary of State Antony Blinken ...71st United States secretary of state and a leading light of the corrupt and inept Biden administration. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under the corrupt and inept Obama administration. He advocated for the 2003 invasion of Iraq while serving as the Democratic staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2002 to 2008. He was a foreign policy advisor for the Biden 2008 presidential campaign. During his tenure in the Obama administration, Blinken helped craft B.O.'s policy on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the nuclear program of Iran. We all saw how well each of those worked. After leaving government service, Blinken moved into the private sector, co-founding WestExec Advisors, a lobbying firm... and other government officials earlier this month for "engaging in a conspiracy to censor, deplatform and demonetize American media outlets disfavored by the federal government."
The lawsuit stated that the GEC was used as a tool for the defendants to carry out its censorship.
"Congress authorized the creation of the Global Engagement Center expressly to counter foreign propaganda and misinformation," the Texas Attorney General’s Office said in a blurb. "Instead, the agency weaponized this authority to violate the First Amendment and suppress Americans’ constitutionally-protected speech.
The complaint describes the State Department’s project as "one of the most egregious government operations to censor the American press in the history of the nation.’"
The lawsuit argued that The Daily Wire, The Federalist and other conservative news organizations were branded "unreliable" or "risky" by the agency, "starving them of advertising revenue and reducing the circulation of their reporting and speech — all as a direct result of [the State Department’s] unlawful censorship scheme."
Meanwhile,
...back at the shouting match, a new, even louder, voice was to be heard... America First Legal, headed up by Stephen Miller, President-elect Trump’s pick for deputy chief of staff for policy, revealed that the GEC had used taxpayer dollars to create a video game called "Cat Park" to "Inoculate Youth Against Disinformation" abroad.
The game "inoculates players... by showing how sensational headlines, memes, and manipulated media can be used to advance conspiracy theories and incite real-world violence," according to a memo obtained by America First Legal.
Mike Benz, executive director at the Foundation for Freedom Online, said the game was "anti-populist" and pushed certain political beliefs instead of protecting Americans from foreign disinformation, according to the Tennessee Star.

Our money is still going toward censoring us. There is so much grant money flowing out of the federal government that the recipients can just melt and reform like a Pakistani terrorist group.

Tomorrow:
Strange magnetic fire breaks out in former GEC archives.
[NYPOST] The lefty attorney general of Oregon has rolled out a new program to help illegal migrants colonists in the sanctuary state thwart ICE ahead of President-elect Donald Trump ...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down... 's promised mass deportations.
Ellen Rosenblum's recent new guide, titled the ''Sanctuary Promise Community Toolkit,'' offers advice to illegal immigrants colonists on what to say and do if ICE or other immigration authorities show up.
For the question, ''How do I prepare myself and my family for encounters with ICE?'' the answer includes legal guidance from the American Civil Liberties Union: ''do not open the door, ask to see a warrant signed by a judge, tell them you do not consent to them being at your home and tell them please leave.''
In answer to the question, ''Is there a place I can call to report ICE or other federal immigration authorities active right now in my community?'' the Oregon Department of Justice lists contact information for local nonprofits that work to warn migrants colonists about federal operations.
There are also multiple sections on how to report anyone who is suspected of violating Oregon's sanctuary law and working with federal immigration authorities.
One section advises locals that they can sue any state or local agency that they suspect of violating sanctuary law.
However,
some people cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go... the "Sanctuary Promise" guide admits that state laws can only do so much: "The outcome of a state investigation or a private civil suit does not change a deportation order, or any other decision/action by the federal courts or federal immigration authority to prosecute or remove a person from the United States."

The US Code just happens to have a US LAW against that, and there will be a NEW DOJ/FBI in town in 24 days.
Conspiracy to Circumvent US LAW "The general conspiracy statute, 18 U.S.C. § 371, creates an offense "[i]f two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose"

The way Oregon and California should go about this is with a "Mansions for Refugees" program. For example, the official residence of the governor of Oregon has over 10,000 square feet of living space. Surely the Gov wouldn't mind sharing one of her bathrooms with a family of 6. Rangers Lead The Way!

Recently ousted NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey was kicked out of his Queens home by his enraged wife following a Post expose that linked him to a sleazy sex-for-OT scandal involving a high-ranking aide in the department, law enforcement sources said.
Maddrey, 53, the highest-ranking uniformed cop at the NYPD until his abrupt fall from grace last week, left his two-story Brookville home lugging two suitcases shortly after the explosive Dec. 21 report — and is now shacking up with kin in Georgia, the sources said.
That’s a bit longer work commute than average.
The veteran cop, who rose through the ranks of New York's Finest and was appointed chief by Mayor Eric Adams ...Hizonner da Mare of Noo Yawk. As a Manchurian candidate, Hizonner was all in favor of law and order and that kind of stuff. Once in office, a bunch of his friends found cushy jobs with the city, the windows kept getting broken, and Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg remained right where he was. Most people comfort themselves with the thought that he's not Bill di Blasio but that's pretty small comfort with kids who actually go to school getting bumped off while standing in front of them. But he's a Dem, so the rubes will vote for him next election too, so he's what they deserve... in 2022, was pressured to quit after the scandal broke.
The Post exclusive revealed that NYPD Lt. Quathisha Epps filed a complaint accusing Maddrey of an ongoing campaign of sexual extortion in exchange for perks and overtime duty.
Epps said the chief took advantage of her financial vulnerability — including a fear that she would lose her home to foreclosure — to strong-arm her into a sex-for-perks relationship staring in June 2023.
''I think he's a predator,'' she said. ''He'd say, 'We're going to save your house,' like you're supporting me when you're really just f—king me.''
Epps, 51, said Maddrey also forced her to do odd favors for other female cops, according to the Equal Employment Opportunity complaint filed by her attorney, Eric Sanders.

Interestingly - the Ursa Major was carrying Liebherr cranes destined for Rosatom in Vladivostock. RT is suggesting the sinking was caused by 3 limpet mines
[NEWARAB] The UN mission to Afghanistan on Thursday called for an investigation into Pak air strikes in Afghanistan, in which the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... government said 46 people were killed, including civilians.
The United Nations ...boodling on the grand scale... Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said it had "received credible reports that dozens of civilians, including women and kiddies, were killed in Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s by Pakistain's military forces in Paktika ...which coincidentally borders North Wazoo and Kurram Agency... province, Afghanistan, on 24 December".
"International law obliges military forces to take necessary precautions to prevent civilian harm," the agency said in a statement, adding an "investigation is needed to ensure accountability".
The Taliban government said the 46 deceased were mainly women and kiddies, with another six maimed, mostly children.
According to news agency AFP, several maimed children were seen in a hospital in the scenic provincial capital Sharan, including one receiving an IV and another with a bandaged head. Oh NOES!
A Pakistain security official told AFP on Wednesday the bombardment had targeted "terrorist hideouts" and killed at least 20 krazed killers, saying claims that "civilians are being harmed are baseless and misleading".
[NEWARAB] It's been a month since a ceasefire deal to halt the devastating war between Israel and Hezbollah came into effect, and residents of Beirut's southern suburbs have trickled back to their homes.
Dahiyeh — the Arabic word for suburb and the name given to the area south of the Lebanese capital — was hammered by weeks of Israeli strikes. Streets which once never slept in the densely populated suburbs have been left in ruins, after buildings were reduced to rubble within seconds during the offensive.
Cleanup operations begun straight after the war ended on 27 November, as Dahiyeh's displaced residents rushed back to check on what was left of their homes, businesses and other places, saddened by the destruction but keen to rebuild.
However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them... Hezbollah — and the Lebanese state — now face the arduous challenge of reconstruction, in a country already suffering from years of an unprecedented financial crisis.
Unlike the aftermath of the 2006 war where states were quick to assist Leb ...Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects.... in rebuilding, a difficult reality looms this time. Hezbollah has come out of the war hurt and undoubtedly diminished and assistance is not as forthcoming as it was after the last major conflict.
BUILDINGS AT IMMINENT RISK OF COLLAPSE
The intense bombardment has left many buildings in Dahiyeh structurally weakened and facing imminent collapse, endangering civilians in an area that is trying to bounce back to life despite uncertainty, especially with the approach of winter that usually brings with it heavy winds and rain across Lebanon's coastal areas.
Haret Hreik, in the heart of Beirut's southern suburbs, was one of the areas worst hit by Israeli attacks.
Its deputy mayor, Ahmad Hatoum, told The New Arab that 102 buildings in his municipal area alone have been destroyed, with 50 more needing to be torn down, adding that more than 260 buildings have been partially damaged.
Across the whole of Dahiyeh, he says around 417 buildings have been destroyed, with over 1,500 buildings partially damaged. He did not mention how many more buildings need to be demolished outside Haret Hreik.
These figures are subject to change as the municipality continues to make assessments, he says.
"Regarding the buildings at risk of collapse and those which will be demolished, as well as getting rid of the debris, this is all partly tied to a tender that will take place on 3 January 2025 by the Union of Municipalities for the [Beirut] Southern Suburbs," Hatoum told TNA, estimating that the process of clearing up the wreckage could take up to three or four months once it begins.
He said the municipality has taken precautions, cordoning off streets around hazardous areas.
The deputy mayor says the 265 buildings currently documented as partially damaged in Haret Hreik will be assessed by the municipality, so "every building that is considered to be a risk to residents or its vicinity — whether in Haret Hreik or anywhere else in the Dahiyeh — we will not let anybody use it or come near it."
But to Hatoum, these dangerous do not only lie in the buildings barely standing and that may fall to the ground at any moment. He says dangers will persist as long as Israel continues with it crimes against civilian populations.
"As long as there is Israel — and as long as there is a Zionist regime attacking civilians, unbothered by international laws, dangers will exist and they will continue," he tells TNA.
The cross-border fighting between Hezbollah and Israel erupted over the war on Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... in October last year, but Israel escalated it into a full-blown war in September, killing thousands of people in Lebanon, including civilians and combatants.
A US-brokered deal ended the violence, but Israel continues to violate the agreement every day, striking what it claims are Hezbollah elements in southern Lebanon and vowing to keep the group weakened.
"But our people are used to this, our people are living in a state of constant political and economic instability, and 2024 is not their first experience. But we hope it is the last," Hatoum says, commending what he called the bravery shown against Israel by the Dahiyeh's residents — and Hezbollah's supporters in general.

[FoxNews] Hunter Biden recently received a pardon from his father dating back to 2014
President Biden is seen in newly uncovered photos meeting with Hunter Biden’s Chinese business associates in China while he served as vice president, bringing further scrutiny to his claim he "never" discussed business with his son. FJB lied?? The deuce you say!
The photos, obtained by conservative-leaning America First Legal through litigation against the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), appear to show then-Vice President Biden introducing his son to Chinese President Xi Jinping and then-Vice President Li Yuanchao. Other photos show Joe Biden posing with Hunter’s business associates from BHR Partners, including Jonathan Li and Ming Xue.
"These images shed light on the connections between then-Vice President Biden, Hunter and his Chinese business associates, and Chinese government officials including President Xi Jinping," America First Legal said in a press release this week. "Lawyers and representatives for President Biden and President Obama delayed NARA’s release of these photographs, as they did with other records, until after Election Day."
"These photos corroborate the House Oversight Committee’s investigative findings that Hunter Biden arranged for his father to meet with Jonathan Li and other BHR executives during the 2013 China trip, where ‘Mr. Li sought— and received — access to Vice President Biden’s political power, including, for example, preferential access to then-U.S. Ambassador to China Max Baucus … a condition of Hunter Biden and his associates participating in the BHR deal,’" America First Legal wrote.
America First Legal also wrote that, according to the committee's investigation, "the Biden Family benefited from their business dealings with BHR."
Hunter Biden was asked earlier this year by the House Oversight Committee about his meetings while traveling to Asia with his father.
"When we returned from an event to the hotel, there was a rope line, and Jonathan Li was in the lobby of the hotel where I was going to meet him for coffee," Hunter Biden said at the time. "In that line, I introduced my dad to Jonathan Li and a friend of his, and they shook hands and I believe probably took a photograph. And then my father went up to his room, and I went to have coffee with Jonathan Li."
Hunter Biden added that he didn't tell his father "anything" about who Li was.
Joe Biden has repeatedly denied any role in his son's businesses.

That isn't a photo of getting caught sneaking onto somebody else's private jet for an off the record chat, that is the official meet and greet photographs of a formal occasion.
Which means the photos were not released, but suppressed.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The Bilderberg Group - a secret organization of the global elite - is undergoing a leadership transformation as Donald Trump prepares to retake the White House.
The society, which consists of leaders in politics, industry, academia and the military, has selected former NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg to chair its 'steering committee.'
Founded in 1954, the Bilderberg group has long drawn fascination for its clandestine meetings at exclusive hotels and alpine resorts where attendees hold discussions on international relations, economics and security.
Heads of the CIA and MI6 have been among its members, while Henry Kissinger was a regular alongside the likes of Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and then-Prince Charles.
Now a major power shift is afoot as Stoltenberg, who attended his first Bilderberg summit in 2002, has been tapped for his expertise in transatlantic strategy.
It comes as Trump, whose frequent attacks on NATO have sparked outrage in Europe, ascends once more to the Oval Office. The president-elect has been adamant that he will no longer spend billions in US taxpayer money to fund other countries' wars.
Stoltenberg's tenure at NATO was dominated by the Russia-Ukraine conflict and he proudly claimed to have overseen 'the largest reinforcement of our collective defense in a generation.'
Many of his Bilderberg colleagues have benefited from this increased defense spending. Among them is Trump insider Peter Thiel, boss of AI giant Palantir, whose technology has been used by Ukraine in the fight against Putin.
Stoltenberg last month warned that Trump's 'campaign rhetoric had raised legitimate concerns about his commitment to European security.'
But the new Bilderberg boss can rest assured that if things get sticky, he now has a direct line to Trump in the form of Thiel, who has been one of the president-elect's biggest backers.
Another notable member of the Bilderberg steering committee is Nadia Schadlow, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a DC think-tank.
In October, Schadlow wrote a piece titled 'Europe Should Not See a Potential Trump Return as a Threat.'
In the piece, she addressed how Trump often attacks European NATO member countries for not appropriating enough of their money to national defense but said that Europe should try to work with him.
'Instead of framing him as destroyer of an old order, Europe should consider how Mr Trump's disruptive nature might help to position Europe for a better future,' she wrote.
Stoltenberg may seek to harness the media to help shift the Bilderberg Group's strategy. The secretive society tends to avoid any interaction with the press and keeps the details of its meetings secret.
But Stoltenberg is no stranger to dealing with the media and among the new members are Silicon Valley billionaires like Thiel who are more at ease with public speaking.
Stoltenberg will co-chair the steering committee alongside Canadian-American economist, philanthropist, Marie-Josée Kravis who sits on the board of Publicis, one of the world's largest PR and communications companies.
Kravis is married to the billionaire Henry Kravis, founder of legendary investment firm KKR.
A true sense of the Bilderberg's new tack could become apparent at its next annual meeting which will be in Sweden, appropriately the homeland of its new head Stoltenberg.
As for Thiel, the co-founder of PayPal and Palantir Technologies has built a reputation as both a visionary entrepreneur and a polarizing figure in politics.
A staunch supporter of Donald Trump, Thiel's influence has steadily grown within Bilderberg, a group that convenes heads of state, corporate executives, and policymakers for off-the-record discussions on global challenges.
His proximity to Trump allies, including Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, a former employee of Thiel's Mithril Capital, places him in a unique position as Bilderberg recalibrates for Trump's 'America First' agenda.
Thiel's involvement with Palantir Technologies, a leading AI and data analytics firm, underscores his significance in global geopolitics.
Palantir's role in military targeting and surveillance has been pivotal in conflicts including the current Russia-Ukraine war.
CEO Alex Karp, who also sits on the Bilderberg steering committee, recently highlighted Palantir's impact, stating the company was 'responsible for most of the targeting in Ukraine.'
This direct link to modern warfare exemplifies how Thiel's tech empire aligns with Bilderberg's interests in security and military investment.
This cabal of the global, largely liberal, elite — with strong ties to the EU — meets every year amid a cloak of secrecy, but Stoltenberg's appointment as co-chair also reflects the group's strategic realignment amid rising geopolitical tensions.
Having overseen NATO's largest defense reinforcement in a generation, Stoltenberg is no stranger to Bilderberg, participating in meetings since 2002.
His tenure as NATO chief was dominated by the Russia-Ukraine conflict and increasing NATO expansion, making him a natural choice to steer Bilderberg's discussions on transatlantic defense.
Meanwhile, Thiel's growing influence at Bilderberg also signals a convergence of tech innovation and military strategy.
His robotics company, Anduril, and Palantir have both capitalized on the global arms race, reflecting the group's longstanding ties to defense and intelligence.
Thiel's ideological alignment with Trump and his tech-driven contributions to defense provide a modern reflection of Bilderberg's founding ethos - melding elite influence with geopolitical strategy.
Stoltenberg's leadership, coupled with Thiel's outsized influence, points to a Bilderberg Group increasingly intertwined with military innovation and political strategy.
As the group prepares for its next meeting in Stockholm, hosted by billionaire industrialist Marcus Wallenberg, the focus will likely center on defense spending and transatlantic cooperation in an era of renewed great-power competition.
So clandestine are the Bilderberg gatherings that no minutes are taken, no press conferences given and no reports published.
The conference operates under 'Chatham House Rules', which means participants can use and report information exchanged there, but not disclose the source.
The Bilderberg Group — so called because it first met in 1954 at the Hotel Bilderberg in the Netherlands — is made up of at least 120 self-proclaimed 'leading citizens' of Europe and the U.S., who meet annually to discuss 'issues of common interest'.
Every summer, figureheads from politics, business, academia, finance and defense lock themselves away in a closely guarded hotel for three days to discuss topics of vital global significance about which the rest of us can only speculate.
[NEWARAB] Fierce fighting erupted between the The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... -backed Syrian National Army (SNA) and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near the Tishrin Dam in northern Syria's Manbij countryside on Thursday.
The festivities, which started on Wednesday night, intensified as the SNA and SDF vie for control of strategic territories in Syria's Aleppo province.
The Tishrin Dam area, located to the east of Aleppo, has long been a flashpoint in the Syrian conflict due to its strategic and symbolic importance.
While neither party has fully seized control of the dam, both sides are desperately trying to gain a strategic advantage. According to Amin Huwaish, a front man for the SNA's Fajr al-Hurriya (Dawn of Freedom) operations room, the fighting continued for several hours, resulting in casualties on both sides.
Huwaish added that the SDF had previously used tunnels around the dam for infiltration operations, with SDF forces briefly capturing villages in the western Manbij countryside. However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried... these villages were later retaken by the SNA after launching a counteroffensive.
The escalation around Tishrin Dam follows a recent surge in violence in northern Syria since the fall of Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Horror of Homs... , where Ottoman Turkish-backed factions of the SNA have intensified their operations against the SDF.
The SNA launched its 'Fajr al-Hurriya' operation on 30 November, three days after HTS-led rebels launched a major assault against former President Bashir al-Assad's forces.
The SNA managed to capture of several SDF-controlled towns in Aleppo's countryside, including the strategic city of Manbij.
On 16 December, the SDF announced the collapse of US-mediated peace talks aimed at establishing a permanent ceasefire in Manbij and around the northern city of Kobane.
Though a temporary ceasefire had been brokered by the US and Turkey, it failed to hold, and festivities resumed with more intensity.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] On this day 20 years ago, a gigantic undersea earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia. Measuring 9.1 in magnitude, the violent tremor miles beneath the ocean floor was the third strongest to ever rock the planet. It unleashed a series of catastrophic tsunamis that obliterated everything in their path, killing hundreds of thousands of people on all sides of the Indian Ocean and wiping away entire towns.
We tracked it here when it happened. Heartbreaking then, and heartbreaking now to remember.

by Ivanna Kapustianska
Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line has increased to 128. The occupiers continue to use aviation, in particular dropping anti-aircraft missiles. The defense forces are holding the lines and taking the necessary measures to prevent a breakthrough of the defense.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The invaders continue to use artillery on the territories of the regions bordering the enemy. The areas of the settlements of Baranivka, Zarichne, Progress, Stepok, and Hirky in the Sumy region; and Kostobobriv in the Chernihiv region have come under enemy fire.
In the Kharkiv direction, there was one combat clash with Russian invaders in the Vovchansk area.
Five assault actions were recorded near Dvorichnaya, Pishchane, Kolisnykovka, and Lozova in the Kupyansk direction , three of these clashes are still ongoing.
In the Lymansky direction, the enemy is attacking in the areas of Novoyehorivka, Kopanky, Zeleny Gay, Makiivka, Terni, Yampolivka, Serebryanskyi forest and in the direction of Druzhelyubivka. In total, 19 clashes have been recorded in this direction since the beginning of the day, three of which are ongoing.
In the Siversky direction, our soldiers repelled one enemy attack in the Belogorivka area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attempts to advance near Stupochky, and one clash is currently ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops six times in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. Three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 35 times today in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Vozdvizhenka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Pokrovsk, Novyi Trud, Zelene and Novotroitske, seven clashes are ongoing.

In the Vremivka direction, 17 enemy assaults were stopped near Konstantinopolske, Yantarny, Konstantinopol, Rozlyv, Veleka Novoselka, Novoselka, Blagodatne, and Vremivka, and eight more assaults are still ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders successfully repelled two enemy attempts to advance towards Novodanylivka.

The enemy is trying to advance as far as possible to the outskirts of Pokrovsk and break through the left and right flanks of the Defense Forces.
by Ivanna Kapustianska
Despite significant losses in manpower, the Russians are trying to break through the defenses of the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region from the flanks.
This was reported by the spokesman for the Khortytsia Regional Administrative District Viktor Tregubov, Ukrinform writes.
"In the Pokrovsky direction alone, in the last 24 hours, our defenders have stopped 60 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor. The enemy in this direction greatly outweighs in manpower.
Three Russian combined arms armies are concentrated against us - the 2nd, 41st, and 51st of the enemy's Central Military District. The fighting here is very fierce, because the Russian occupiers are throwing all available forces forward, trying to break through the defense of our troops," says Tregubov.
At the same time, the enemy army avoids a frontal assault on the city and tries to break through the defenses from the flanks, suffering losses.
"Ukrainian soldiers are showing extraordinary resilience and inflicting significant losses on the enemy. In the past day alone, our defenders have destroyed 261 occupiers, 133 of them irretrievably. A communications vehicle has also been destroyed. The invaders are not giving up attempts to break through to the city of Pokrovsk itself, but there are currently no battles or enemy DRGs in the city and its surroundings.
The enemy is simply trying to advance to the maximum distance to the outskirts of Pokrovsk and break through the left and right flanks of the Defense Forces in order to cover the city itself. Fighting in the city itself is a very unpleasant thing, so the enemy is trying to impose fighting on the outskirts in order to force the Ukrainian forces to retreat and avoid a frontal assault for themselves," Tregubov explained.
According to the General Staff, the situation in the Pokrovsky direction is difficult . Over the past day, the Defense Forces have stopped 60 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Myrolyubivka, Promenya, Lysivka, Novy Trud, Dachensky, Shevchenko, Vovkovy, and Novovasylivka.
[ZeroHedge] When most analysts discuss Tesla, they focus on new vehicles or the electric vehicle company’s advancements in autonomy. Yet, according to Launch i/o CEO Jeff Lutz, one of the most significant—and under-discussed—developments at Tesla is happening not in its design studios or on the road, but in its factories. Lutz, a former executive at Google and Motorola, argues that Tesla’s true innovation isn’t just the electric vehicles or robots it’s building, but how those products are being made. The company’s first-principles approach to manufacturing is a radical departure from the industry norm, focusing not just on cheap labor or existing models, but on rethinking the entire production process.
Tesla is creating factories that are the product—designing, testing, and perfecting every element just as they do with their cars. This focus on manufacturing efficiency, Lutz believes, will lead to a dramatic reduction in production costs, potentially bringing them closer to zero. And this shift in how products are built—rather than merely assembled—could set a new standard for the entire manufacturing world.

[AFRICANEWS] Less than a month after N'Djamena cut its defence cooperation agreement with Paris, a French army base has been handed over to the Chadian army.
According to a local source, French troops left the base in Faya and headed to the capital, around 780km southwest. The troops will then travel back to France in the coming weeks.
A French military official stated that the handover was in line with the schedule organised with N'Djamena. Officials in Chad added that they would keep the public up to date regarding other bases to be handed over.
Before the defence agreement ended, France had around 1,000 troops in the Central African country. They gave intelligence and logistical help to the Chadian army.
Explaining the reasoning behind the end of the pact, Chad's Foreign Minister had argued that it was time for his nation to "assert its full sovereignty".
The handing over of the base comes days ahead of the country's legislative, provincial and local elections.

[Regnum] Turkey has resumed shipping traffic through the Bosphorus Strait, which had to be suspended due to a malfunction of the oil tanker Cordelia Moon, which was heading to Russia. This was reported on December 26 by Reuters, citing the shipping agency Tribeca.
Transit through the strait was opened at 17:40 Moscow time. According to the Turkish Ministry of Transport, the vessel, whose engine failed, was towed using cables.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on December 26, traffic along the Bosphorus was temporarily stopped in both directions due to problems with a 274-meter-long tanker heading to Novorossiysk. The vessel, flying the Panamanian flag, broke down near the Yenikoy quarter while en route from Yalova, Turkey. The ship blocked the main fairway used for traffic in the southern direction.
[FoxNews] Two of the migrants colonists reported having difficulty breathing and feared for their lives due to conditions in trailer
A Texas man is being charged with attempting to smuggle over 100 illegal immigrants colonists into the U.S. in a locked tractor trailer.
Juan Manuel Aguirre, 49, is facing a three-count indictment of conspiracy to transport an undocumented alien within the United States and the transportation of an undocumented alien within the United States for financial gain, according to a statement released by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas on Monday.
Aguirre, a resident of the South Texas city of Laredo, was observed by law enforcement loading a large group of migrants colonists into a white trailer in a warehouse parking lot on Dec. 2. After it departed, authorities conducted a traffic stop on the white truck hauling the trailer and allegedly found 101 undocumented immigrants colonists, including 12 unaccompanied children, crammed in.
The Justice Department statement said two of the migrants colonists reported having difficulty breathing and feared for their lives due to the conditions in the trailer.
Aguirre is facing 10 years in prison for each of the three counts and fines of up to $250,000.
The number of individuals sentenced for alien smuggling offenses in the U.S. has steadily risen under the Biden administration, reaching 4,731 in fiscal year 2023, according to the most recent data from the U.S. Sentencing Commission.
The top five districts for human smuggling are all along the southern border. With Texas accounting for over 60% of the U.S. border with Mexico, the top two districts for human smuggling were both in Texas.
There were 64,124 alien smuggling offense cases reported in 2023. About 10% of alien smuggling cases involve unaccompanied minors.
In October, local news source KGNS reported a concerning rise in human smuggling incidents in Laredo, resulting in high-risk vehicle pursuits and other dangerous situations.

"We’re here to expose the truth to immigrants colonists who are thinking about coming here, the truth about the traffickers who assault so many of the women and kiddies along the way," the governor said. "The message is: Do not risk a dangerous trip just to be arrested and deported."

[ColonelCassad] Interview with Chinese war correspondent Zhu Haozheng on China Army TG channel
Zhu has been in Russia for three years now and has spent a lot of time in Donbass. Now he shares some answers to questions about China and Taiwan.
China is trying to resolve the Taiwan issue peacefully. However, the Taiwanese authorities do not listen to Beijing and continue to follow the lead of the United States, buy weapons from them and establish military ties, including with foreign countries. How long can China tolerate this?
In fact, since the 1950s, Taiwan has maintained good relations with some countries and bought a lot of weapons from them. Let's look at some events from the history of the last thirty years. Taiwan received fighter jets and warships from France, and missile systems, tanks, fighter jets and artillery from the United States. Beijing is very unhappy with this situation. China has tried to use diplomatic means to stop all this, but the effect is not ideal. I believe that this situation will not change in the future.
Taiwan is actively building up the defense of the island. Anti-China drills are being held, a coastal combat command and its subordinate military units equipped with anti-ship missiles are being formed, drones are being purchased and Taiwanese drone operators are being trained, etc. What does China think about this? Is it too late for China to resolve the issue of reunification with Taiwan by force? After all, this may result in large losses among Chinese troops.
As a person who has lived through the events of a special military operation, I am shocked by the development of military technology. For example, in Donbass, Russia is currently using drones in large numbers, including reconnaissance and aerial photography. There is no doubt that drones pose the greatest threat to soldiers in war.
Let's talk about Taiwan's military technology. In fact, Taiwan is capable of producing drones and missiles. They have good electronic products and can produce chips. Some people in Beijing are worried about this situation. They believe that even if a military operation in Taiwan begins, it will not end quickly, and Beijing will pay a price. After all, these drones and missiles pose a huge threat to warships, tanks and soldiers. Of course, it should also be noted that China's military technology is advancing faster than Taiwan's, so victory is in Beijing's hands.
How likely is it that China will launch a military operation to retake Taiwan? When will that happen?
Personally, I think that a military operation in Taiwan should be launched as soon as possible because the United States is currently in a difficult situation because of Ukraine. If Beijing opens a second front, it will be easier to win. In fact, relying on political means to regain Taiwan is unrealistic. Even during the Kuomintang period, which was friendly to Beijing, this situation did not work out. The only way to resolve the Taiwan issue is a military one, because Taiwanese leaders understand very well that their own military power is the only capital for confrontation.
The United States says that they want peace in the Taiwan Strait. What does Beijing think about this? Don't you think that America is deceiving China, trying to dull its attention and buy time to arm Taiwan?
As I mentioned, the United States is worried about Ukraine and perhaps Israel. So, Taiwan is not a priority for the United States at the moment, so Washington does not want a war in Taiwan. However, Washington does not stop arming Taiwan and plans to make it stronger. Perhaps America will give the Beijing authorities a peace commitment similar to the Minsk Agreements. But history has shown that the so-called peace promises or peace agreements are just pieces of paper. They can be torn up at any time. These promises and agreements are lies. Their purpose is to arm Washington's allies.
How will China react if the President of Taiwan officially declares the island's independence?
If Taiwan's leaders declare it a sovereign state, Beijing will probably take military action, but we cannot determine its scale. Military action will be carried out either throughout Taiwan or only on some of Taiwan's outer islands: Kinmen, Matsu, Penghu. We can recall history. In the late 1950s, Washington offered Taiwan independence. In order to warn/send a signal to Taiwan, the PRC authorities began an artillery battle for Kinmen. PLA artillery regularly shelled military targets in Kinmen. These military actions lasted for 20 years.
Will China turn to Russia for help if a crisis breaks out in the Taiwan Strait?
I think that if China decides to launch a military operation in Taiwan, the leadership in Moscow can find out about it in advance. After all, the US, Russia and China have common enemies. When you fight enemies, you need to inform your friends about it, and your friends will provide assistance, even if it is political, which is also very important.
How important is the experience of the Russian Armed Forces' special operation in the so-called Ukraine for China?
The Special Operation War can be called the largest war, which uses more military technology than World War II. There is no doubt that this war has given people many tips. For example, regarding drones, five years ago, the Chinese army rarely conducted drone training, but now drones are widely used in the combat training of the Chinese army. Infantry units often practice using UAVs to detect and destroy targets. Armored units also practice intercepting and countering drones. All this happened thanks to the experience gained during the SVO.
Do you see any progress in the training of Chinese volunteers in the special operation zone?
In fact, as far as I know, there are more than a hundred Chinese volunteers who have come to the SVO zone, some of whom are my friends. I keep in touch with them and interviewed them. They said that they learned many valuable military skills in Russia. Chinese volunteers sometimes took part in brutal assault operations and also suffered losses.
Do you agree with the statement that the US wants to turn Taiwan into a second Ukraine?
Yes. I agree. But the Taiwan that China is dealing with is a stronger Ukraine, with a developed economy and sophisticated industry. In 2018, the Taiwanese government announced for the first time the implementation of a project to develop the Yunfeng supersonic cruise missile. The firing range of this missile reaches 1,000 km, which completely covers such important Chinese cities as Nanjing, Shanghai, Fuzhou and Ningbo.
How or with what will China destroy the US Hymars multiple launch rocket systems supplied to Taiwan in the event of an escalation of tensions in the Taiwan Strait? After all, these systems pose a direct threat to Chinese territory.
In fact, the Taiwanese government not only has US missiles/MLRS. They also produce their own missiles and MLRS in Taiwan. For example, the Thunderbolt-2000 RT/LT-2000 MLRS with a firing range of 100 km. To destroy these long-range systems, I think Beijing will use cruise or even ballistic missiles with the help of satellite reconnaissance.
In mid-December, the United States intends to deliver M1A2T tanks to Taiwan. What do you think about this and what is Beijing's reaction?
I once observed a captured M1A2 tank in Moscow. It turned out that this tank has obvious shortcomings. First, it is too heavy. The weight of 70 tons cannot be adapted to the terrain of Taiwan. Taiwan has a lot of forests and rivers. It is very difficult for an American tank to move around these places. Second, this tank does not have an automatic loader, and the rate of fire is very low. As usual, Beijing protested over the sale of weapons to the United States. But it is still important to note that the M1A2 tank is much better than the M60 tank currently used by Taiwan. Undoubtedly, the PLA is facing a stronger enemy. I think the PLA has already begun to study how to deal with the M1A2 tank.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation was conducted on the reported presence of snuffies in the general area of Jani Khel in Bannu district.
During the operation, the ISPR said the security forces troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location and resultantly killed two of them.
Meanwhile,

"However,

The ISPR added that in a third encounter that took place in the South Waziristan district, the security forces successfully neutralised six snuffies while injuring eight others.
Sanitisation operations were being carried out to eliminate any other snuffies found in the area as security forces of Pakistain are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism, said the statement.
[AFRICANEWS] The Kremlin on Monday commented on reports in Ottoman Turkish media, denying that Asma al-Assad, the wife of former Syrian President Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Light of the Alawites... , had filed for divorce and left Russia.
Kremlin front man Dmitry Peskov also denied Ottoman Turkish media reports that Assad's travel restrictions and his property assets had been frozen.
When asked whether this information was true, Peskov replied: "No, it does not correspond to reality."
Ottoman Turkish and Arab media reported on Sunday that Asma al-Assad had filed for divorce in Russia, where the Assad family was granted asylum this month after the opposition seized control of Damascus in a lightning advance.
Asma al-Assad's name was associated with the reign of her husband, Bashar, who ruled Syria for 24 years, but her fate after she and her family fled Damascus has become the subject of many questions, especially after developments from Britannia, on whose soil she spent half her life.
The forced exile represents the final blow to the reputation of Asma al-Assad, who was once seen as an asset to the Syrian regime after her marriage to Bashir al-Assad in 2000, who succeeded her father, Hafez al-Assad, as the country's president. her father? Quality Journolism
In March 2012, Asma al-Assad's assets were frozen as part of European sanctions that London maintained despite its exit from the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... , justifying itself by claiming that she "benefits from the Syrian regime to which she is linked".
In response to a question posed a few hours after the fall of Assad, in the House of Commons, the position of British Foreign Secretary David Lammy was categorical.
Lamy said: "In recent days I have seen reports that Asma al-Assad, who is a British citizen, is trying to come to our country. I confirm that she is subject to sanctions and is not welcome.
He added: "I will do my best to ensure that no member of this family is resident in the UK."
Earlier, a senior Labour government official, Pat McFadden, said the authorities had "made no contact and received no request for Assad's wife to come to the UK".
Asma, who belongs to the Sunni sect while her husband is from the Alawite sect, embodied, at the beginning of her marriage to Assad, a symbol of modernity, leading to a radical change in the role of the Syrian First Lady, after Anisa, Bashir al-Assad's mother, remained on the sidelines when her husband was president.
The couple had three children, two boys and a girl. Their eldest son recently graduated from Moscow University with a degree in mathematics.
Last May, the Syrian presidency announced that Asmaa al-Assad had leukemia after being treated for breast cancer between 2018 and 2019.
HTS militants claim that former soldiers of Assad's army attacked.
It seems that more militants were killed in this skirmish than during the defense of Damascus and Homs.
There is no faith at all in a long-term pro-Assad underground. There will certainly be some attacks, but it is unlikely to last much longer than the resistance in the Panjshir Gorge in Afghanistan after the fall of the Ashraf Ghani regime.
Or the resistance of troops loyal to Gaddafi after the assassination of Gaddafi himself. But in the long term, after the bloody mess awaiting Syria, those of Assad's military who survive until then will be able to return to the "new Syria" in a new role. As happened with the Gaddafi supporters in Libya.
Syria itself, as expected, continues to bubble with internal contradictions, which the Turks are trying to keep under control through the hands of the HTS and the SNA.

Palestinian media had said that the five people killed were journalists, and that the vehicle was marked as a media van and was used by journalists to report from inside the hospital and the Nuseirat refugee camp.

[NYPOST] The man accused of two unprovoked slashings at Grand Central Terminal on Tuesday night cried out for his mother at his Christmas Day court proceeding — as a Manhattan judge ordered him held on $150,000 bail.
After his brief Wednesday night appearance, Sargeant, a Brooklyn native, noticed that his mom was in the courtroom.
''Wait, mom, I didn't know you were here! I didn't know you were here!,'' he called out frantically as he was swarmed by court officers.
''Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait!,'' he wailed as the officers dragged him out of the courtroom.
About 24 hours earlier, Sargeant ''was screaming 'f—k all of these people''' before he allegedly slashed a 42-year-old man across the left wrist on the stairs of Grand Central's southbound entrance, prosecutors said.
''The victim was bleeding profusely on the scene,'' an assistant district attorney said in court. ''He suffered a deep cut to his wrist, lost a significant amount of blood, requiring a tourniquet to be applied on the scene and was taken to Bellevue, where he remains for treatment.''
The suspect's ''tirade'' continued as he then ran up some stairs and got into an argument with a 26-year-old woman, Imani-Ciara Pizarro, before punching her in the back of the head and stabbing her in the throat near a turnstile, according to prosecutors.
"He first punched her in the face before then lunging at her with the knife, causing a small cut to her neck," prosecutors said Wednesday.
Pizarro, 26, told The Post she was on the phone with her friend and neighbor when she was attacked.
"I wish I could be able to travel to my livelihood and not be attacked. I wish there were cops in Grand Central when I was attacked, there were none. I was running for help and there was no one there," she said.
Sargeant has three prior arrests for criminal mischief, fare beating, and assaulting a police officer, according to sources.

The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... activists, were found guilty of dereliction of duty based on Chowdhury's four unexcused absences from assembly meetings and Atkinson's failure to hold the required twice-monthly meetings.
This was after a seven-day student judicial hearing, which lasted over 20 hours.
The activists were found not guilty of other allegations, with Chowdhury being accused of incitement to violence and cyber access, violations, and defamation and Atkinson also being accused of incitement to violence.
The trial follows Chowdhury's presidential campaign in April under her "Shut It Down" platform. She promised to withhold funding from student organizations unless Michigan's Board of Regents agreed to divest its endowment from Israel.
As the university was reluctant to divest, Chowdhury blocked over $1.3 million in funds for student activities for 400 campus groups after being elected.
This led to the student assembly voting to overrule the budget freeze in October, a meeting attended by many protesters. The same meeting also voted down a resolution to redirect some student funds to a university in Gaza.
The former president also allegedly changed the password to the student government account and posted a message about her frustration with the vote's outcome.
The following month, Chowdhury and Atkinson were impeached for "inciting violence" against student representatives who opposed the Gaza aid measure and calling critics "Zionists" on the student government's social media account.
Chowdhury was also impeached for "failing to fulfil the duties of her office".
The motion says Chowdhury "gravely endangered the security of students and the functioning of the Central Student Government".
The judges said they had "no choice but to do as the constitution commands and as the evidence compels".

[Regnum] At least six people were killed and 40 were injured as a result of Israeli strikes on the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, which is under the control of the Houthi movement Ansar Allah. This was reported to the SABA agency by the Houthi government's Health Ministry on December 27.
It is specified that three people were killed and 30 were injured in the Israeli air strike on Sana'a International Airport. In Hodeidah province, three more people were killed and ten were injured.
Earlier, Regnum reported that Sana'a was attacked by the Israeli Air Force during a speech by Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi. In addition, according to Al Mayadeen TV channel, the head of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was at the Sana'a airport at the time of the Israeli strike. According to the latest information, he survived.
In addition, Israeli aircraft carried out strikes on the seaports of Hodeida and Ras Isa. The IDF is acting in response to ballistic missile and drone attacks on Israel by the Houthis.

Thursday in response to repeated ballistic missile and drone attacks on Israel which have ramped up in recent weeks, the military said.
The strikes — a mission that some 25 jets took part in, including refueling, cargo and intelligence-gathering planes — followed days of increasingly bellicose threats from Israeli leaders vowing to decimate the Iran-backed terror group after near-daily attacks.
Following Thursday’s strikes, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz promised to keep pounding the group and "hunt down" its leaders.
"We are determined to cut off this terror arm of the Iranian axis of evil. We will persist in this until we complete the job," Netanyahu said in a pre-recorded statement.
The Israel Defense Forces said that during the sortie, fighter jets struck Houthi targets along Yemen’s western coast and deeper within the country.
The targets included "infrastructure used by the Houthi terror regime for its military activities" at Sanaa International Airport, and the Hezyaz power plant just outside the Houthi-controlled capital. Planes also hit infrastructure at the Hodeida, Salif and Ras Qantib ports
…alternated spelling Ras Kanatib …
on the coast, including another power plant.
"These infrastructures were used by the Houthi terror regime to transfer Iranian weapons to the region and for the entry of senior Iranian officials," the IDF said.
The Houthi-controlled Saba news agency said that six people were killed in the strikes — three at the airport and three in Hodeida — while 40 others were maimed in the attacks.
Video published by Houthi-run Al Masirah TV showed extensive damage to the airport, including windows blown out in terminals and blood on the floor. The control tower appeared to have been reduced to a concrete shell.
The strikes came as Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi gave a televised speech.
Later on Thursday, the Houthis said they were ready to respond quickly to the attack and meet "escalation with escalation," Houthi-run Al Masirah TV reported.
Houthi official Hezam al-Asad tweeted that Israel’s strikes "reflect the state of weakness and bankruptcy that afflicts this defeated entity."
The Houthi leadership has stepped up attacks in recent weeks following the exit of fellow Iran-backed terror group Hezbollah from the battlefield.
Following the strikes, several Israeli reports said air defenses were being put on high alert in anticipation of a potential Houthi retaliation within hours.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the World Health Organization’s director-general, said the bombardment occurred as he was about to board a flight in Sanaa, injuring a crew member.
"The air traffic control tower, the departure lounge — just a few meters from where we were — and the runway were damaged," he said on X, adding that he and WHO colleagues were safe. "We will need to wait for the damage to the airport to be repaired before we can leave." "Oh, Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi Sanaa again"
Our mission to negotiate the release of @UN staff detainees and to assess the health and humanitarian situation in #Yemen concluded today. We continue to call for the detainees' immediate release.
According to Channel 12 news, Jerusalem updated the United States ahead of time on the targets it was about to hit.
"We saw precise action by the Israeli Air Force, hitting strategic Houthi targets in Yemen, at the airport and at the port," Katz said in a pre-recorded message from the IAF’s underground command center at the military headquarters in Tel Aviv.
"As we said, whoever strikes Israel, we will strike them. We will also hunt down all the Houthi leaders, hit them as we have done elsewhere," he added.
[Giulio Meotti, Arutz 7] Anyone who went to a European Christmas market in the 1990s and early 2000s would never have thought that their life could be in danger. Those days are gone.
In October we discovered that the killer who murdered the children in Southport, England, was not a slightly crazy Rwandan Christian refugee, as the English government and all the mainstream media had assured us, but a terrorist with an Al Qaeda manual in his house and chemical material to make a bomb.
That was the work of Axel Rudakubana —more fully Axel Muganwa Rudakubana — the Wales-born, Moslem son of Christian immigrants from Rwanda who fell prey to previously undiagnosed Sudden Jihad Syndrome and attacked a girls’ Taylor Swift dance party in Southport with a knife …
For four months they kept the truth hidden. Why?
And who remembers the "Christian kamikaze", Emad Al Swealmeen, the name of the Liverpool attacker? "Enzo Almeni," as his friends called him, was an asylum seeker with a Syrian father and Iraqi mother who had changed his name to sound "more Western" and had faked a conversion to Christianity to hide his identity and motives. He wanted to attack the cathedral.
Instead, the Mother of Satan (TATP) and ball bearing bomb that he’d worked on for seven months went off while he was locked in a taxi outside a Liverpool maternity hospital, the quick-witted cab driver having jumped out when he realized the thing was about to kaboom.
Now we have the Saudi doctor who killed 5 people at a Christmas market in the city of Magdeburg, central Germany.
There is now discussion about the identity of the attacker, a Saudi doctor who claimed to have abandoned Islam, Taleb Al Abdulmohsen. And so the morning after the massacre we woke up to a sea of idiocies based on his statements that he is a "former Muslim". Why an attack on a Christmas market in Magdeburg against Christians?
The dear doctor was pro-Hamas. Many former Muslims who knew him assure us that he never gave up Islam and that he cheated the West to be given asylum.
Did he practice taqiya, which is an Islamic practice that allows believers to deceive the enemy, pretend to be something else, in order to carry out Jihad?
The Saudis had warned the Germans that Taleb was dangerous.
A few months ago in Annecy, France, a man from Syria terrorized a park by stabbing several children. An asylum seeker who was first accepted as such in Sweden ten years ago pretending to be an atheist, Christian or homosexual to obtain asylum is a common phenomenon. The attacker in Annecy with the knife claimed to be Christian and was wearing a cross. The Syrian was in fact a former member of Bashar al-Assad's army who then joined ISIS before seeking and obtaining political asylum in Europe.
He went by Abdelmasih Hanoun — "Abdelmasih" means "Slave of Christ” — and had lived for a decade in Sweden with official refugee status and a Swedish wife, but left when his citizenship application was denied and his wife divorced him. France denied his asylum application days before the attack because he was already approved in Sweden. He was subsequently identified as Selwan Majd, a Moslem refugee from Hasakah, Syria.
Everyone knew that no Christian could blow himself up inside a cathedral, just as no Christian would stab children at random in a dance class and no ex-Muslim would attack a Christmas market in Magdeburg.
So my greatest fear is that taqiya has made incredible and chilling progress in the West.
In August it came out that one of the terrorists who wanted to carry out a massacre at the Taylor Swift concert in Vienna worked for a company that provides services at concerts.
In England they have just arrested a police officer for supporting Hamas.
In the Netherlands, police officers are no longer required to enforce laws protecting Jews, or to provide them equal treatment. So some stand by when Jews or their property are attacked; some join in.
Mickaël Harpon, the perpetrator of the massacre at the Paris Prefecture that cost the lives of four police officers, was a police officer in charge of anti-terrorism in one of the most protected places in France. The computer 007 was was hired by a department whose priorities included the fight against "terrorism, particularly radical Islamism." Harpon had secretly converted to Islam.
Joined the police in 2003, converted to Islam in 2008, upset colleagues by defending the Al Qaeda Charlie Hebdo massacre in 2015. He and his wife exchanged almost three dozen Islamist text messages shortly before he ran amok with two knives. The wife was released without charge after questioning in the gallant French way.
Jean-Baptiste Salvaing, deputy commander of the judicial police, and his partner Jessica Schneider, a secretary at a police station, were killed in their home in Magnanville by an Islamist. Some time later, police investigating a woman for suspected links to ISIS made a shocking discovery: the woman had a USB that contained the personal details of thousands of French police officers.
Like the sensational news that the bodyguard assigned to Geert Wilders had been completely replaced after a police officer of Muslim origin, Faris, had passed sensitive information on the Dutch politician to gangs.
Remember how US Army Major Nidal Hasan, shouting "Allahu Akbar," killed 13 colleagues at the Fort Hood base in Texas? Who suspected him?
Numerous people reported his suspicious utterances. The chain of command somehow managed to be shocked when he tried to kill everyone.
The loss of border control is being followed by the loss of internal control. But worse still is the loss of control over one’s own identity. One thing is clear: parallel societies are growing in Europe. The authorities and the public have no idea.
The sooner we come to terms with our false conscience and reassuring lies, the sooner we will know how to defend ourselves. Alternatively, we can only say a prayer for the dead, dead because of the recklessness of a Western political and cultural class that every year doubles the stakes in a crazy experiment that can only end in a suicide.

There are always underlying causes of social unrest that are triggered by an event. For instance, the American Civil War was ignited by an election. The conflict had existed for thirty years or more before.

[FoxNews] A trio of House Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... in the progressive "Squad" is demanding an end to the U.S.-led investigation into a key ally's anti-Israel arms embargo.
Reps. Rashida Tlaib ...the very first ever Paleostinian-American ever sworn into Congress in 2019. She is a member of The Squad and consistently votes against the U.S. national interest. She's a Dem, naturally, from a safe district you wouldn't want to live in (Michigan's 12th congressional district). She wants the country to be kinda like Gaza only without any Jews for neighbors... , D-Mich., Cori Bush ...politician, nurse, pastor, and Black Lives Matter activist formerly serving as the U.S. representative for Missouri's 1st congressional district, since 2021, and probably all years after that until she dies. The district includes all of the city of St. Louis and most of northern St. Louis County. There are few normal people to be found there. Soon after being sworn in, Bush joined The Squad, a group of Socialist Dem lawmakers intent on wrecking the country. She posted a photo on Twitter of herself, the four original Squad members, and another new member, Jamaal Fire Alarm Bowman, with the caption "Squad up."... , D-Mo., and Summer Lee, D-Pa., wrote to the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC), an independent agency that oversees maritime trade affecting the U.S., regarding Spain's "decision to deny port entry to ships carrying weapons bound for the Israeli government and its ongoing genocide against the Paleostinian people in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. "This investigation is a reckless insult to our allies in Spain, which has only sought to enforce in good faith its sovereign national policies and uphold international law, including its treaty obligations to prevent genocide," the hardline-left politicians wrote.
"It is bad enough that the United States is violating these same obligations and its own domestic laws by sending these weapons. We urge you to immediately suspend this obstruction of justice and withdraw this misguided investigation."
Spain, a longstanding U.S. ally and fellow member of NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all.... , said it would stop selling weapons to Israel when its war with Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... broke out in October 2023.
Since then, the Spanish government has been accused in three separate instances of refusing ships from docking in its ports over allegations those ships were carrying weapons meant for Israel.
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares told state TV channel RTVE of one of the incidents in May, according to the News Agency that Dare Not be Named. "The Middle East needs peace. That is why this first denial of authorization will start a policy for any boat carrying arms to Israel that wants to dock at a Spanish port."
The FMC opened its probe earlier this month after receiving information that "indicates Spain has refused entry to certain vessels on at least three separate occasions this year," a blurb read. "The two most recent instances involved U.S.-flagged vessels."
The agency will now "investigate whether regulations or practices of foreign governments result in conditions unfavorable to shipping in the foreign trade of the United States."
