Over 860,000 Afghan Refugees deported from Pakistan
[KhaamaPress] Over 860,000 Afghan migrants colonists have been deported from Pakistain since September 2023, with the majority returning via Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Since September 2023, over 860,000 Afghan citizens have left Pakistain. Data from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) indicates that more than half a million of these individuals crossed the border into Afghanistan through the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa region. This mass return of migrants colonists has been closely monitored by both Pak authorities and international organizations.

The return of Afghan migrants colonists occurred in two main phases. The first phase, which involved undocumented Afghan migrants colonists, was marked by forced deportation. According to reports from the Pak newspaper Dawn on April 13, 2025, this was followed by the second phase, which started in early 2025. This phase affected Afghan citizens holding Afghan Citizen Cards (ECC), who were given a deadline to leave Pakistain by April 1, 2025.

On April 11, 2025, a significant number of Afghan citizens were deported from Pakistain, with 4,908 individuals expelled. Among these, 2,475 held legal documents (ECC), with over 2,000 departing voluntarily. However,
death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate...
around 350 individuals were forcibly sent back via the Torkham border. Additionally, 2,433 undocumented individuals were also expelled, with 1,900 departing voluntarily and 520 being forcibly removed through Torkham.

According to IOM data, from September 15, 2023, to April 5, 2025, a total of 861,763 Afghan migrants colonists returned to Afghanistan. This large-scale return highlights the ongoing migration trend, with significant movement across multiple border crossings, primarily through Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s two border posts, which accounted for the majority of the returnees.

From the beginning of April 2025, the rate of deportations has escalated. A total of 16,242 Afghan citizens holding ECC cards were deported. Of these, 9,439 were voluntary departures, while 6,803 individuals were forcibly expelled. This increase aligns with the approaching deadline for Afghan citizens in Pakistain to leave the country, further intensifying the deportation efforts.

UNHCR and IOM reported a rise in returns between March 1 and April 5, 2025, with 19,334 Afghans returning via various border crossings including Torkham, Chaman, and others. The return flow reached unprecedented levels in early April, with over 2,000 people being registered daily. This surge in returns has been attributed to the looming deadlines and the intensified pressure on Afghan migrants colonists to leave Pakistain.

In addition to border crossings, many Afghan migrants colonists from Islamabad and Punjab

This step ensures that the return process is orderly, although it further highlights the growing logistical challenges faced by both the migrants colonists and authorities involved in the repatriation process.

EU to boost financial support for Palestinian Authority
[IsraelTimes] The European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
will increase its financial support for the Paleostinian Authority with a three-year package worth around 1.6 billion euros ($1.8 billion), the European Commissioner responsible for the Middle East tells Rooters in an interview.

Dubravka Suica, the European Commissioner for the Mediterranean, says the financial support would go hand in hand with reforms of the Paleostinian Authority, which has been accused by critics of corruption and bad governance.

Again I raise the question.
Why do we still support an EU, that even funds the Palestinian Authority and has a Long and Bragged about history of supporting ISLAMIC Terrorists?

The EU's Open Borders agenda have let in the very Islamic terrorist supporters in large numbers?

EU Populations like:
France 7.5%
Netherlands 6%
Belgium 5.9%
Germany 5.8%
and others?

BTW:
Given the USA is the largest contributor to NATO at $967.7 Billion, shouldn't we be rethinking that support?

Border Wall with Afghanistan equipped with Advanced Weapons: Iranian Official
[KhaamaPress] An Iranian official announced that the border wall with Afghanistan has been equipped with advanced weapons to enhance security.

Iran’s Army Ground Force Commander, Amir Kiomars Heydari, recently discussed the country’s plan to secure its eastern borders with Afghanistan. The project aims to utilize advanced global technologies to prevent illegal crossings, security threats, and drug trafficking. The plan, which spans four years, is expected to be completed within three years, strengthening the nation’s border defenses.

According to Heydari, the border security project involves more than just constructing a four-meter high wall. This initiative is part of a larger strategy to control and monitor the 900-kilometer-long border shared by Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and Afghanistan. The approach is sophisticated and technology-driven, which includes modern surveillance systems, barriers, and reinforced border patrols.

In a related development, Major General Hossein Mousavi, head of the Iranian Armed Forces Engineering Directorate, revealed that 30 kilometers of the border wall have already been erected, with another 50 kilometers nearing completion. Mousavi emphasized that the project was aimed at curbing the influx of "terrorists" and drug smugglers, two significant challenges facing both nations.

Mousavi also highlighted that this would be the first time Iran has actively undertaken such a large-scale border closure project. The focus is on preventing the illegal movement of individuals and materials between Iran and Afghanistan. The Iranian government’s commitment to enhancing border security is seen as a response to the growing threats posed by gunnies and narcotics trafficking.

The task has been entrusted to the Iranian Army Ground Force, particularly the forces stationed in the Razavi Khorasan province, which shares a significant portion of the border with Afghanistan. By deploying advanced technologies and reinforcing its border defenses, Iran aims to protect its illusory sovereignty and limit cross-border threats.

This large-scale operation reflects Iran’s growing concerns over regional security and its determination to control its borders. With continued progress and collaboration among military forces, the border closure will likely play a critical role in stabilizing the region and preventing illegal activities.

A New York ISIS Recruiter Was Sentenced
[Townhall] An ISIS recruiter residing in New York was sentenced to nearly two decades in prison.

According to the New York Post, this sentence came after she received a "shockingly low" 48-month sentence that was tossed out by an appeals court.

Now, Sinmyah Amera Ceasar, 30, will be imprisoned for 19 years. The sentence was set by Brooklyn Federal Court Judge Kiyo Matsumoto.

"With today’s sentence, Sinmyah Amera Ceasar, an unrepentant ISIS recruiter, will be incarcerated for a significant period of time to protect Americans here and abroad from her violent mostly peaceful mostly peaceful extremism," United States Attorney John Durham said in a statement.

"Even after pleading guilty to providing material support to ISIS, the defendant continued to support terrorists, obstructed justice and fled from prosecution. This Office, together with the FBI, the NYPD, and all the members of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, work tirelessly to pursue and hold accountable all those who support terrorism," he added.

The late Judge Jack Weinstein sentenced Ceasar in 2019 to four years in prison. Reportedly, he argued that she needed education and mental health treatment to "save her as a human being" from her terrorism ties, the Post reported (via NYP):

Ceasar — whose war name "Umm Nutella" translates to "Mother of Nutella" — was out for 13 months when the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals overturned Weinstein’s decision in August 2021, calling it a "shockingly low" penalty — and ordered that Ceasar be re-sentenced.

But Ceaser tried to make a run for it, blowing off a court-ordered appearance on Aug. 25, 2021, after the appeals decision — slicing off her ankle monitoring bracelet in an attempt to flee to Russia to avoid going back to prison, federal prosecutors have said.

She was captured days later while hiding out at an auto body shop in New Mexico.

Federal prosecutors said she had a desire to travel and join the terror group and "die as a martyr" — which she proved by going as far as trying to marry ISIS wannabe Fareed Mumuni, who is serving a 25-year sentence for planning to attack an FBI agent.

The Department of Justice noted that between January 2016 and November 2016, Ceasar used social media accounts to praise and promote ISIS. She recruited individuals in the United States to leave and fight for ISIS. She was regularly in contact with members of the terrorist organization. She helped at least five people from the US join ISIS.

Government Corruption
MoveOn.....NO!
[News With Views] Americans have become accustomed to "going-along to get-along," but there are some things that we just can’t move-on from without confronting the issue and fixing what was broken. In a nation focused on precedence rather than the rule of law, we cannot allow bad precedence to stand.

Our Founders knew this day would come... "all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed;" — Declaration of Independence, 1776

The MoveOn.org domain name was registered on September 18, 1998, following the September 11, 1998 release of the Independent Counsel Starr Report. The organization founders were computer entrepreneurs Joan Blades and Wes Boyd, the married co-founders of Berkeley Systems, an entertainment software company based in San Francisco.

It was originally created to oppose the impeachment of then President Bill Clinton, who had been caught sexually abusing a young intern in a room off the Oval Office, lying about it to the American people, and under oath. Clinton was indeed impeached by the House and even convicted by the Senate. But he was not removed from office due to a massive grassroots campaign led by the DNC and folks at MoveOn.org.

Today, that operation is a full-blown extreme left community organizing operation under the new domain front.moveon.org. Along with the DNC ACT BLUE international money laundering scheme, BLM, ANTIFA, the WEF, WHO, Davos Group and UN, and hundreds of Soros NGOs and "non-profits" scattered all over the globe, this is the Obama "community organizing" machine responsible for the ongoing efforts to "fundamentally transform America" into a 3rd world Marxist toilet. It’s also the money machine for every anti-American protest and riot on American soil.

Today, treason from within is as common as the sunrise and despite a lot of political chatter about it, nobody ever seems to face treason charges. It all emanates from these organizations and is deeply embedded throughout the U.S. government, all in the democrat party and some in the republican party, often referred to as "the deep state" or "shadow government" actually running things in America.

Americans need to face the reality that our country is under siege, swamped with immoral and unethical anti-American Marxists and dumbed-down fruitcakes, hanging from the proverbial cliff by our fingernails, and the fight would already be over had we not stopped another stolen election last November.

To be clear, the newly minted Trump administration should have already frozen all related funds pending the outcome of criminal investigations into the anti-American actions of these groups. I don’t know why they haven’t, but it likely has something to do with the following...

At the epicenter of it all in the USA is one Barack Hussein Obama, the American leader of the "cultural revolution" not unlike the revolution that destroyed China many years ago. His entire history is one great big fat fraud.

The utter destruction of the USA since 2009 has been massive. Citizens who remember what America was like before can barely recognize the country today, and they fear for their children and grandchildren’s future.

Obama’s unlawful occupation of our Oval Office isn’t just the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people...it is an overt act of treason.

Outstanding Work, Doctor: How Jill Biden's Lust for Power Saved America
[Free Beacon] Many have suspected that Dr. Jill Biden played a key role in saving the country by facilitating Donald Trump's long-awaited return to the White House. Many have assumed the former first lady (and acting president of the United States) was possessed of an insatiable lust for power, which drove her to insist that her enfeebled octogenarian husband, Joe Biden, run for reelection. The ill-advised decision nearly destroyed the Democratic Party when Biden's cognitive impairment became impossible to ignore. It forced the party to rally around Kamala Harris, the most incompetent presidential candidate since Hillary Clinton, all but ensuring that Trump would win a second term and usher in the Golden Age of America.

The revelations unearthed in several new books by political journalists—conveniently published after the election—confirm that these suspicions and assumptions were correct.

"[L]et’s be honest, Jill was a thousand percent behind this," a Biden ally told journalists Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, authors of Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House. "So, she was pushing it. The staff was all pushing it. At the end of the day, I don’t think anyone in that inner circle was presenting the president any contrary advice that this thing is not going to be easy or maybe this is not the best thing for the Democratic Party."

Allen and Parnes note that many of Joe Biden's longtime aides were also desperate to cling to power, and refused to consider advising the president to retire after a single term. "Nobody walks away from this," senior adviser Mike Donilon reportedly told a prominent Democrat. "No one walks away from the house, the plane, the helicopter." This burning desire to retain the perks of the White House, the authors explain, was "doubly true for the first lady." Dr. Jill had enjoyed them for nearly a decade, and "the trappings of the most elite levels of Washington power had grown on her." The reporting confirms what presidential historian Douglas Brinkley said about Jill Biden in February 2024: "She likes power. She wants to stay. She wants some sense of revenge."

Former sheriff who defied the Biden team faces 10 years in jail over trumped-up 'corruption' charges
[LawEnforcementToday] Sheriff Jenkins is a constitutionalist who has put his career and his liberty on the line by unabashedly supporting the Second Amendment. As payback, Jenkins was apparently targeted by the Biden administration and is now facing 10 years in prison for what can only be described as a government-orchestrated hit job, something President Trump is intimately familiar with.

For background, Sheriff Chuck Jenkins was a committed and outspoken 287g sheriff, meaning he had dedicated his agency to assisting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) with illegal aliens. That no doubt caught the attention of the Department of Justice, which was run at the time by radical Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The ATF and other DC-Swamp/Biden resources were used, like they were used against several other Sheriff Departments that did not follow the Biden Regime Agenda.

China-Japan-Koreas
VDH: China Would Lose a ‘Trade War' With the US‐'Gradually, then Suddenly'
[AmericanGreatness] No one wants a "trade war" with China, or for that matter with any nation. Nonetheless, China has been waging one for years and is now locked in a tariff recalibration with the Trump administration.

In this American effort to find trade parity and equity, China can do some short-term damage to the U.S., especially in terms of ceasing exports of some pharmaceuticals, phones, and computers. But ultimately, it cannot win—and will eventually lose catastrophically. It will likely accept that reality sooner rather than later.

We are only in the first week of the escalating rhetoric and tariffs. But already China is appealing to its Asian rivals, Australia, and the EU to join in fighting the supposed American bully.

But so far, there are understandably few takers.

An exasperated China is now also running vintage Korean War-era propaganda videos of Mao Zedong bragging about how he was standing up to then-President Dwight Eisenhower.

Does Beijing really believe that airing ossified threats from decades ago—issued by the greatest mass killer in human history to the one U.S. president who warned of the military-industrial complex—is going to win over neutral nations?

Or maybe China thinks calls to Western nations to stop American trade "bullying" will resonate — this, from the greatest trade bully, cheat, and rogue commercial nation in history.

China is running a nearly $1-trillion trade surplus with the world. Its mercantilism is the result of market manipulations, product dumping, asymmetrical tariffs, patent, copyright and technology theft, a corrupt Chinese judicial system, and Western laxity — or what might be mildly called "bullying." The U.S. accounts for about a third of China’s trade surplus, with most of the EU and Asian nations accounting for the other two-thirds.

In the past, third-party nations did not appreciate the ends to which China has gone to warp the international trading system. In one sense, unable to address their deficits with China, our friends and neutrals turned to America, where they sought to make up their trade asymmetries by going China-light and running surpluses with the U.S.

However much they criticize the United States, it is unlikely that European and Asian nations will join China—which imposes high tariffs and steals from them—in order to gang up on the U.S., which has tolerated massive trade deficits for decades.

To the degree that the world accepts China as an international commercial rogue nation, it does so out of fear —or, again, on the assumption it can recycle its deficits with Beijing by running surpluses with the vast open American market.

...In sum, if the Trump administration can conclude first-round—good enough but not yet perfect— trade deals in the next few weeks with major EU countries, Japan, and other Asian and Pacific powerhouses, and then redirect to China, it will gain both political support and economic advantage. It also must message strategically, given that China, for a half-century, has waged a quiet trade war that has now birthed a loud reaction. So, the administration must remember that the current status quo is the aberration, and its correction is a return to normalcy.

After all, in the end, the EU and Asian nations should know the difference between their protective and rules-based ally, with whom they have run up huge and unfair surpluses, and a rogue bully, whose flagrant violations of trade norms and unfair tariffs have ensured them large trade deficits. And if they don’t calibrate their economic self-interest, but act emotionally, then they should at least consider realpolitik facts, such as which nation has the larger economy, the more open political system, and the largest and most lethal military that, in extremis, would come to their aid—against a bullying China.

#1  Back a few years I went to a conference with a lunch time speaker from China. He spoke beautiful unaccented English. He was asked to address the issue of intellectual property rights. He said~, "We in China are working on this but we have to work deliberately because we don't want to violate the rights of our citizens."
I laughed but no one else in the conference (several hundred people) did so and they gave him a standing ovation when he finished.

#4  12 operating. Serious decline.

Decline in numbers, certainly (my darling father-in-law worked at Bethlehem Steel in Lackawanna (Buffalo), NY until it closed in the 1980s). But I suspect those twelve produced considerably more — and better — steel than the 25 tons/day it needed 700 to make three quarters of a century earlier. Are America’s ten now all specialty manufacturers, or are some mass producers like the old days?

The Ingraham Angle 4/14/25: Political Violence Is Now Ingrained in American Youth
[YouTube] This time the Angle is about how political violence has become mainstreamed in American youth today.

Laura starts with a picture of Luigi Maglione, and an odd photo of an unidentified guy who killed someone.

A clip is played of Taylor Lorenz [has been a journalist for many left wing publications, like the Times, the Post, the Beast, and apparently Substack.] She’s a 40 year old immunocompromised vegan who’s had many recent online harassment attacks including threats of death and violent rape, and has had her share of problems with stalkers and "swatters" as well.

By an act of the Lord, it seems, she has been engaged now for 10 years to Christopher Mims, an author and a technology columnist for the Wall Street Journal. (I wonder if this might be something like the Stalwell situation.) Laura continues with how Taylor has bragged about murderers, like those displayed on the screen, of how cool they are, including the CEO healthcare murderer. "Why he’s a famous handsome young revolutionary, smart, and the sort of guy that any girl would want to become involved with." In a clip she laughs off the healthcare murder as "this is America, as if we don’t lionize murderers, as if we don’t give then Netflix shows," and is glad that some journalists are now finally "standing up and speaking out about the anger that we all feel."

Laura tosses in a clip [The Daily Show/Comedy Central 12/11/24] of a comedian who says that the recent google search for "conjugal visit" is now trending. Laura appreciates that we now know more about the guy who recently threatened Trump, rather than, for example Thomas Crooks. See:

https://rantburg.com/poparticle.php?D=2024-09-17&SO=&HC=6&ID=715034

The rest of the show follows in the same vein, including the Tesla attacks (one perpetrator is now a folk hero), the break-in of Governor Shapiro [PA]’s residence where the place was torched, and Trump comes in to suggest the perpetrator is just a whack job, etc. I’m already 7 minutes into the program I haven’t reviewed anything beyond this point but I don’t really care to and this is enough.

Israel Defends Gaza Hospital Strike After German Criticism
[MSN-DPA] Israel early on Monday criticized the German Foreign Office for a social media post questioning the Israeli military's recent airstrike on a hospital building in northern Gaza, saying the statement lacked key facts.

In a post on X, Israel's Foreign Ministry said the attack was a "precise strike" on a single building used by Palestinian militant group Hamas as a command and control centre, and not a general assault on hospital grounds.

It responded to a post shared Sunday by Germany's Foreign Office and outgoing Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, which said: "The cruel Hamas terror must be fought. But international humanitarian law applies — with a special obligation to protect civilian sites. How is a hospital supposed to be evacuated in under 20 minutes?"

Israel's Foreign Ministry pushed back, saying it expected "a clear and strong condemnation of Hamas's use of hospitals" and "not rhetoric that encourages Hamas's continued abuse of civilian infrastructure."

The ministry added that the German statement lacked "important facts," including that the Israeli military had issued a prior warning and that no civilians were killed in the strike.

The World Health Organization (WHO), however, said the hospital sustained serious damage. WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus wrote on X that, according to the hospital director, a child died after being unable to receive care during the evacuation.

Witnesses told dpa that hospital staff had been instructed to evacuate before the strike, with the Palestinian news agency WAFA reporting that they were given just 18 minutes to do so.

Witkoff Indicates US Seeks To Cap Iran Uranium Enrichment, Not Dismantle Nuclear Program Altogether
Given that Iran cheats, always, what benefit is there to that?
[IsraelTimes] US special envoy to the Mideast Steve Witkoff appears to use a key component of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal signed during the Obama administration as a reference point for the current talks he’s holding with Tehran.

That deal, which US President Donald Trump abandoned in 2015 and has long criticized, barred Iran from enriching its uranium beyond 3.67%.

Iran “do[es] not need to enrich past 3.67%. In some circumstances. They’re at 60%, in other circumstances 20%. That cannot be,” Witkoff tells Fox News. “You do not need to run — as they claim — a civil nuclear program where you’re enriching past 3.67%.”

The comments indicate that the US is looking to limit Iran’s uranium enrichment rather than dismantle its nuclear program altogether as Israel has demanded.

Witkoff says the next round of talks with Iran will focus on “verification on the enrichment program and then ultimately verification on weaponization.”

“That includes missiles — the type of missiles that they have stockpiled there. And it includes the trigger for a bomb,” he adds.

“We’re here to see if we can solve this situation diplomatically and with dialogue. The first meeting was positive, constructive, compelling,” Witkoff says.

Pressed on whether US inspectors — rather than ones from the UN — would be the one to verify that Iran is adhering to any deal that is reached, Witkoff declines to answer directly.

New Mexico man charged with Tesla, local GOP arson attacks
See also here.
[NYPOST] Federal prosecutors will not offer a plea deal to the lipstick-wearing suspect accused of Molotov cocktailing a Tesla dealership and local Republican Party office in New Mexico, Attorney General Pam Bondi vowed Monday.

Jamison Wagner was arrested over the weekend and has been charged with two counts of malicious damage or destruction of property by fire or explosives for allegedly carrying out the attacks.

The 40-year-old Albuquerque resident — and member of LGBT group ''500 Queer Scientists'' — faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted of both charges.

''These people thought they could get away with it. They can't,'' Bondi told Fox News host Jesse Watters. ''This is our fifth major arrest on Tesla.

''I have directed my prosecutors not to make any offers. He is going away, if convicted, for 40 years,'' the attorney general declared.

Investigators linked Wagner to both arsons through surveillance footage and ''substantial'' scene of the crime evidence, according to the Justice Department.

The accused arsonist will remain in jug pending a detention hearing, which has not been set.

Wagner allegedly used a glass container containing ''an improvised napalm material'' to set two Teslas ablaze at the electric car company's Albuquerque showroom during the early morning hours of Feb. 9.

Six additional vehicles, as well as the exterior of the dealership, were also spray-painted with the phrases: ''Die Elon,'' ''Tesla Nazi Inc'' and ''Die Tesla Nazi,'' as well as swastika symbols, authorities said.

Wagner targeted the New Mexico Republican Party headquarters the following month, according to authorities.

That attack, which bore several similarities to the Tesla dealership arson, significantly damaged the front door and entry of the building.

Nancy Pelosi adamantly refusing to step down — embodying the problem with Democratic leadership: sources
[NYPOST] Nancy Pelosi is adamant she won't release her grip on the Democratic Party despite their resounding defeat in 2024 and a growing chorus urging her to step down, sources tell The Post.

Ex-President Joe Biden named Pelosi one of the chief architects of the move to push him aside for Kamala Harris to run at short notice, and she was instrumental in the disastrous $1 billion campaign which followed — leading the party to lose the White House, Senate and House of Representatives.

Younger members of the party and even current House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries believe it's time for a refresh and new leadership, according to sources, but Pelosi insists on business as usual.

''As long as Nancy takes a breath, she is going to do what she wants to do,'' said Willie Brown, a former mayor of San Francisco who once regularly porked dated former Vice President Harris.

NYC inks new $250K contract to relocate homeless, migrants
[NYPOST] Homeless New Yorkers — and now migrants colonists — looking to skip town are getting a free ticket-to-ride out of the Big Apple.

The city Department of Homeless Services has inked a new $250,000 contract with booking agent Alpha International Travel Corp., to relocate some of the nearly 100,000 homeless shelter residents across the US. Migrants looking to leave New York City will also be accommodated, as part of a revamp of DHS' Travel Assistance program.

''This program will also now help with the relocation of new arrivals,'' a spokesperson for Mayor Eric Adams
...Hizonner da Mare of Noo Yawk. As a Manchurian candidate, Hizonner was all in favor of law and order and that kind of stuff. Once in office, a bunch of his friends found cushy jobs with the city, the windows kept getting broken, and Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg remained right where he was. Most people comfort themselves with the thought that he's not Bill di Blasio but that's pretty small comfort with kids who actually go to school getting bumped off while standing in front of them. But he's a Dem, so the rubes will vote for him next election too, so he's what they deserve...
said. ''Streamlining these operations will allow us to continue closing more emergency shelters and help migrants colonists leave our system to take the next step on their journey.''

#1  The capacity of a garbage truck varies depending on its type. For example, a typical front loader garbage truck can hold up to 40 cubic yards of refuse, which is equivalent to the size of 8 standard dumpsters.
An average side loader can hold up to 28 cubic yards of garbage.
Rear loaders can hold waste from up to 850 households, and some larger models can transport up to 18 tons of waste.
Roll-off trucks can carry about 20,000 pounds, or 10 tons, of waste.
These trucks are designed to compact the trash to maximize space, not to transport people. Therefore, the question of how many people can fit into a garbage truck is not applicable as they are not designed for human transport.

Fed agents tackle accused drunk driver from Venezuela in NH courthouse: video

A significant proportion of the populace refugeed to Colombia and points south...

n man in a New Hampshire courthouse elevator before tackling him as he tried to flee — and taking down an elderly bystander in the melee, wild security footage shows.

Video released Monday from the Nashua Circuit Court shows two agents throwing 33-year-old Arnuel Marquez Colmenarez down to the floor and handcuffing him just outside an elevator on Feb. 20.

An elderly man with a cane, who also rode the elevator with the agents and Colmenarez, was knocked to the floor during the confrontation. He was seen writhing in pain on his back.

Another older man who was in the elevator with the group tried to speak to the agents while they held Marquez Colmenarez down, the footage shows.

The agents tapped Marquez Colmenarez on the shoulder as he was exiting the elevator. They spoke to him briefly before he tried to escape through the doors, making it just a few feet before the agents pinned him to the ground and barrelled into the man with the cane.

Marquez Colmenarez was appearing in court to face an arraignment on charges for drunken driving, driving without a license and failing to provide information after an accident all filed on Feb. 9, according to Nashua police.

Jared Neff, a court liaison officer for the Hudson Police Department, helped the agents restrain Marquez Colmenarez after overhearing a loud commotion near the elevator.

''There were voices yelling, 'Stop!' and then a loud 'bang,' which sounded like people had fallen on the ground and were actively fighting and struggling,'' he wrote in an incident report.

Neff noted that Marquez Colmenarez was actively resisting arrest.

Emily Ratajkowski accuses Blue Origin of ''destroying the planet'' after launching Katy Perry, Gayle King and more into space
[PAGESIX] Emily Ratajkowski has joined the growing list of celebrities calling out Blue Origin for sending a star-studded, all-female crew up to space for a recreational trip on Monday.

''That space mission this morning? That's end time s—t. Like, this is beyond parody,'' the model told her TikTok followers in a selfie-style video filmed in the car.

''That you care about Mother Earth and it's about Mother Earth, and you're going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that's singlehandedly destroying the planet?''
Facebook is doing that? Dang!
Ratajkowski, 33, urged her fans to ''look at the state of the world'' and ''think about how many resources went into putting these women into space,'' wondering, ''For what? What was the marketing there?''
"They didn't invite meeee!"
She concluded her rant by saying how ''disgusted'' she is by the whole thing.

Blue Origin is owned by billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, whose fiancee, Lauren Sanchez, was joined by pop star Katy Perry, broadcast journalist Gayle King, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn for the roughly 10-minute voyage.

The ladies made the trip in full glam and custom blue uniforms designed by Sanchez.

Government Corruption
How Democrats used NGOs to end-run voters — and democracy
[NYPOST] I'm often darkly amused by common examples of inherently false nomenclature: ''Jumbo shrimp.'' ''Government ethics.'' ''Unbiased news media.''

And one of our society's biggest falsehoods-in-a-name: ''Non-governmental organizations.''

Until recently these groups have been widely seen as international, idealized versions of domestic non-profits.

We thought of them as do-good organizations set up by people who really care — about the environment, or poor people, or children, or freedom.

We imagined they raise money, help the downtrodden, send out blurbs and engage in other private activities to promote the causes they favor.

They're not government entities, we thought — the very name says that — but a species of private charity whose good intentions deserve the benefit of any doubt.

Perhaps some NGOs do operate in that way.

But as we've learned recently, partly as the result of Department of Government Efficiency digging, many ''non-governmental'' entities are really just fronts for government activities that Americans would never stand for if Washington attempted them directly.

For example, America’s border crisis was funded in large part by Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body....
’s government, which sent large sums of money in the form of grants to various NGOs that helped train migrants colonists on how to get to the United States — and how to claim asylum when they arrived.

NGOs helped the illegal immigrants colonists with expenses on their way, and then provided legal resources and more than $22 billion worth of assistance for them — including cash for cars, home loans and business start-ups — once they got in.

This was US taxpayer money, laundered through "independent" organizations that served to promote goals contrary to US law, but consistent with the policy preferences of the Biden administration.

Under President Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
, this funding halted — and, unsurprisingly, the flow of illegal immigrants colonists did, too.

Likewise, the weird wave of sudden global enthusiasm for "trans rights" and novel ideas about gender turns out to have been largely funded by the US government through USAID grants.

Federally funded NGOs spent millions on everything from a transgender opera in Colombia, to a campaign promoting "being LGBTQ in the Caribbean," to an LGBTQ community center in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Pa. arson suspect was out on bail when he allegedly firebombed Gov. Josh Shapiro’s mansion
[NYPOST] The Pennsylvania man accused of firebombing Gov. Josh Shapiro's mansion was out on bail when he allegedly carried out the arson, The Post can reveal.

Cody Balmer's mother, meanwhile, said she desperately tried to get police to lock up her son prior to the attack.
Off his meds, Mom said yesterday. Will he turn out to be bipolar or schizophrenic?
Balmer, 38, pulled sick faces as he was hauled back into a Harrisburg courtroom for his arraignment Monday, where he was hit with eight charges including terrorism, aggravated arson, criminal homicide and prowling at night.

The former mechanic, who said he is now jobless, penniless and lives with his parents, was free after making bail for a 2023 simple assault charge, courts spokesperson Stacey Witalec told The Post.

In that case, he was accused of stomping on his 10-year-old son's broken leg and battering his wife, according to a police report.
The Times of Israel adds:
A man who US authorities say scaled an iron security fence early Sunday morning, eluded police, and broke into the Pennsylvania governor’s mansion where he set a fire told police he had planned to beat Governor Josh Shapiro with a small sledgehammer if he found him, according to court documents.

Cody Balmer had walked an hour from his home to the governor’s residence, and during a police interview, “Balmer admitted to harboring hatred towards Governor Shapiro,” according to a police affidavit, but it did not explain why. Balmer faces charges including attempted homicide, terrorism, aggravated arson, and aggravated assault, authorities said.

Because obviously the liberal idea of deinstitutionalization is not working

BTW: some say it started in 1967 when the California Legislature passed the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act. This act made involuntary hospitalization of mentally ill people extremely difficult. The results, 1 year after that CAL. law went into effect, the number of mentally ill people in the CAL. Criminal-justice system doubled.

#5  More from Townhall:

Balmer previously worked as a welder and mechanic. But he was unemployed by the time of the incident and lived with his parents. The suspect served eight years as an Army reservist. He has an extensive criminal history, pleading guilty to forgery and theft in 2015 and 2016.

The suspect also has an ongoing assault charge from 2023.

About the assault :

In late Jan. 2023, local police were called to a home in the Harrisburg area for what was characterized in court documents as an "active physical domestic" incident.

"A child caller advised his stepfather was beating his mother," the responding officer's affidavit said. The officer responded and outside the home met Balmer's then-wife "in an elevated state, yelling and crying about her husband, Cody Balmer, having assaulted her."

"Cody was still inside the residence," the officer said.

Balmer told the officer "that he had taken a bottle full of pills in an attempt to kill himself," the affidavit said. "An argument ensued between Cody and [his wife] to a point that his 13-year-old son" had "stepped in between them. Cody then admitted to shoving his son and that a fight ensued between all parties. Cody showcased injuries to his face."

Balmer had hit his 10-year-old son "in the chest and stepped on his broken leg in the midst of a scuffle with the victim and two others," and had hit his 13-year-old son and his wife "with closed fists, and bit his wife causing a puncture wound on her hand," according to the criminal complaint.

A cogent point. There are increasing numbers of people in Europe nowadays who would get caught for either wanting to eradicate Israel and think Hamas was not only justified but didn’t go far enough, or have friends and relations who do — and that’s separate from those who support expanding the Ummah and establishing their particular flavour of caliphate. And of course the tourist visa —> illegal immigrant pipeline is no longer an attractive option. Not so many come from Europe with gang connections, though, particularly narco gangs…

On the other hand, New York City has historically been a huge tourist draw, but right now I see no attraction to riding the NYC subway, for instance, nor wandering through Times Square. And why would they brave our colourful anti-Israel marches when they can see exactly the same thing back home — with exactly the same accents leading the chants. We have much to clean up here before we are ready to welcome guests again, a point European Conservative politely did not make.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Five participants in the riots at Makhachkala airport have been sentenced to long terms
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] Today, the Leninsky District Court of Stavropol sentenced Dagestan residents Bashir Gazimagomedov, Mirzabek Gamzabekov, Saiputdin Gasankhanov, Mikail Misrikhanov and Yusup Shamilov to terms ranging from 8 years to 10 years and 2 months.

As the "Caucasian Knot" reported, the case against these five defendants was brought to court in January. All defendants were charged with participating in mass riots and failure to comply with transport safety requirements at transport infrastructure facilities.

Criminal cases on participation in the riots at Makhachkala airport are being considered by courts in Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais. From August 2024 to March 2025, 84 people were convicted on charges of participation in the riots, they were sentenced to imprisonment for terms ranging from 4.5 to 10.5 years.

"The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, taking into account the nature and degree of public danger of the crimes committed and the role of each, sentenced the defendants to imprisonment for a term of 8 years to 10 years and 2 months, to be served in a general regime penal colony," the prosecutor's office said in a statement, as quoted by TASS.

According to the case file on the court's website, five defendants were found guilty under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in mass riots accompanied by violence, pogroms, destruction of property, use of objects posing a danger to others, as well as armed resistance to a government official), Part 3 of Article 263.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (failure to comply with transport safety requirements at transport infrastructure facilities and vehicles, if this act resulted in major damage through negligence, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy).

According to the investigation, Bashir Gazimagomedov, Mirzabek Gamzabekov, Saiputdin Gasankhanov, Mikail Misrikhanov, Yusup Shamilov took part in mass riots at the Uytash airport based on national and religious hatred and hostility towards Israeli citizens. However, their specific actions are not described in the prosecutor's office release.

It should be noted that earlier today the Mineralnye Vody City Court sentenced four residents of Dagestan to 8 years in prison, recognizing them as participants in the riots at the Makhachkala airport.

Sentences of 8-10 years in prison have become common in the "airport case," noted the chairman of the Dagestan POC, Shamil Khadulaev, in March. "Everything is being done as if from a carbon copy," he told the "Caucasian Knot."

China-Japan-Koreas
Anti-Trump ‘Resistance' Leader's Campaign Bankrolled By Dem Power Broker Tied To Chinese Intel Agency
[DailyCaller] Boston Democratic Mayor Michelle Wu’s 2021 campaign received hundreds of thousands of dollars from a fundraiser who is listed by a Chinese intelligence agency as an official, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation discovered.

Gary Yu, the founder of Boston International Media Consulting, helped raise over $300,000 for Wu with the help of a Chinese civic association he leads. However, Yu — whose Chinese name is Yu Guoliang — is listed as an official by an agency of a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) influence and intelligence service called the United Front Work Department (UFWD), and also operates as a recruiter for the Chinese government, according to reports from the CCP, Chinese state media and civic associations led by Yu.

"The Communist Party’s UFWD never rests," author and China expert Gordon Chang told the DCNF. "There is no ethnic Chinese official in America who is not targeted. It’s time for law enforcement to investigate the CCP’s ties to Gary Yu and Yu’s ties to Mayor Michelle Wu."

Wu has risen to national prominence as a central figure in the Democratic resistance to Trump’s border and deportation policies. Wu recently defended her city’s refusal to cooperate with immigration officials during her March 19, 2025 "State of the City" address, during which she criticized "presidents who think they are kings," prompting the White House to fire back the next day with a press release labeling Wu a "radical mayor" who "puts violent criminal illegal aliens first."

"Wu’s ultra-leftism makes her the perfect candidate for CCP recruitment and capture," Chang said. "Or do we have it backward? Is her ultra-leftism the result of CCP recruitment and capture? More than just the people of Boston would like to know."

Wu’s office, Yu, and Boston International Media Consulting did not respond to multiple requests for comment. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Pentagon, Energy Dept. Nuclear Research Projects Tapped Sanctioned Chinese Communist Party Supercomputers)

’OVERSEAS CHINESE’
Yu has repeatedly met with high-ranking CCP intelligence leaders in China and is listed as an official by two regional branches of a UFWD arm, according to Chinese government announcements, state media reports and records from Chinese civic associations led by Yu.

The UFWD’s operations are a "unique blend of engagement, influence activities, and intelligence operations that the [CCP] uses to shape its political environment, including to influence other countries’ policy toward the [People’s Republic of China] and to gain access to advanced foreign technology," according to the House Select Committee on the CCP.

Yu is identified as an "overseas committee member" by the Hangzhou municipal All-China Federation Of Returned Overseas Chinese (ACFROC) branch in Zhejiang province and has met with their officials in China multiple times, according to the website of the North American Hangzhou Association (NAHAUS), where Yu serves as chairman.

ACFROC is a UFWD agency specializing in overseas influence operations, including allegedly directing Chinese community leaders to illegally establish a secret Chinese police station in New York City.

"China’s strategy to influence state and local policymakers is executed, in part, through hundreds of ostensibly ’civil society’ organizations that are actually affiliated with the CCP’s UFWD," Michael Lucci, CEO of State Armor, a nonprofit focused on countering the CCP, told the DCNF. "Xi Jinping considers United Front work a critical tool to undermine democracies. It involves influence peddling, intelligence collection, and intellectual property theft, all for the end goal of aligning U.S. subnational governments with China’s foreign policy and exploiting weaknesses they find."

NAHAUS’s website details one meeting in China between Yu and the Hangzhou ACFROC Communist Party secretary on Nov. 29, 2018. During the meeting, Yu said NAHAUS would "work tirelessly to support the construction of Hangzhou and continue to serve the function of uniting and leading overseas Chinese," according to a Chinese social media post that includes a photo of Yu alongside the ACFROC Party secretary.

Yu is likewise listed as an "overseas committee member" by the Zhejiang ACFROC branch, and he also met with officials from that group in China in November 2018, according to NAHAUS’ website. In March 2023, Yu participated in a Zhejiang ACFROC overseas advisory committee webinar, according to Zhejiang ACFROC. During the webinar, Yu and other ACFROC officials discussed matters such as building overseas coalitions.

’TALENT RECRUITMENT’
Yu also agreed to headhunt U.S. talent for at least half a dozen Chinese regional governments, including the cities of Hangzhou and Guangzhou, according to Chinese government and ACFROC announcements.

For instance, in November 2019, the CCP announced that Yu agreed to establish an "Overseas Talent Recruitment Work Station" in North America for the party’s Organization Department in Nanning, a city located in the Guangxi Autonomous Region.

The Organization Department oversees China’s malign talent recruitment programs, like the Thousand Talents Plan, which incentivizes participants to "return to China to augment its scientific and military capabilities," according to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission.

Yu has also agreed to help recruit U.S. talent to support China’s high-tech development, including in the field of artificial intelligence.

Guangxi’s ACFROC branch recently announced that Yu had met with its officials on March 27, 2025. During that meeting, Yu promised to continue introducing "top-quality resources to Guangxi" after the ACFROC chairwoman told him the region’s artificial intelligence industry urgently required "overseas high-level talents."

A November 2018 article by the Chinese media outlet Sohu reported Yu had previously headhunted for the Chengdu government’s High-Tech Zone and Tianfu Software Park, which are home to multiple Chinese military companies sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Defense, including Chengdu JOUAV Automation Tech Co., Chengdu M&S Electronics Technology Co., Tencent, and Huawei.

’UNLIMITED POWER’
Meanwhile, Yu has organized the Chinese American community in Massachusetts to canvas and raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to elect Democratic lawmakers like Wu.

Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF) records show Yu has personally donated $45,515 to various Massachusetts Democratic politicians since 2018, including $3,200 to Wu and $2,175 to Gov. Maura Healey.

Among other leadership roles, Yu also serves as the co-chair of the New England Chinese American Alliance (NECAA), which has "actively engaged the Chinese community in political campaigns," according to the nonprofit’s website. Toward that end, NECAA has hosted "fundraising events" for at least nine Massachusetts politicians including Wu and Healey.

NECAA’s website claims it "raised over $300,000 from the Chinese American community for Michelle Wu," and Yu’s Twitter advertised fundraising events for the future mayor in November 2020 and June 2021.

"We organized so many fundraisers and translated campaign materials into Chinese for more Chinese residents to read," Yu said about his work for Wu, according to a November 2021 Boston University News Service (BUNS) report. "We did street canvassing every week. We had unlimited power for supporting her in the past year."

By September 2021, NECAA had "expanded the fundraising scope from the Greater Boston area to more than 30 states across the country," BUNS reported.

"Public officials need to thoroughly vet any organization and individual that has ties to China’s government, and interface with state and federal law enforcement when there is any uncertainty," Lucci told the DCNF. "It is well-known that China’s government seeks to influence U.S. politics and place agents within our governance systems to further the CCP’s agenda. We need to stop letting them get away with it."

Yu also donated $3,000 to Massachusetts State Auditor Diana DiZoglio, OCPF records show.

DiZoglio added Yu to her "policies and priorities" transition team after winning her race for state auditor in June 2021, and later appointed him to serve as a commissioner on the state’s Asian American and Pacific Islanders Commission (AAPIC) in January 2024.

Yu now serves as vice chair of AAPIC, which describes itself as "the Commonwealth’s only permanent, statewide body dedicated to addressing the needs and challenges of the AAPI community."

AAPIC’s chairman, Saatvik Ahluwalia, told the DCNF by email the organization was completely "unaware" of any activity between Yu and ACFROC.

"[T]his is the first time we have heard of ACFROC, and we’ve had no contact, affiliation, or engagement with either the organization or the Chinese Government," Ahluwalia said. "We absolutely intend to investigate what you outlined in your questions, including talking directly to Mr. Yu."

NECAA, Healey, and DiZoglio did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Experts comment on the situation surrounding the negotiations between Russia and the US
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The negotiations between Russia and the United States are of interest to Russian experts and public figures. They agree that Moscow will not make concessions to Washington and the Kiev regime.

Russian public and political figure, writer and publicist Nikolai Starikov stated that the initial stage of negotiations can be considered completed. Now it is logical to assume that the parties are moving on to discussing compromises related to the Ukrainian crisis.

At the same time, the expert points out that Moscow and Washington have begun to discuss issues that are not related to the conflict in Ukraine. At the same time, the US is not lifting sanctions, members of the American administration say that the head of the White House, Donald Trump, is dissatisfied with Russia, and he himself calls Russian President Vladimir Putin a good politician.

"All this allows us to draw several conclusions. The negotiations are not going the way the US wants, no decisions are being made to satisfy them. Attempts to pressure and frighten the Russian leadership are not impressive and do not work. Just as the American tactics of promises of friendship and lifting sanctions do not work," Starikov said, adding that the US will have to change its position if they want to reach an agreement.

Advisor to the Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Association of Veterans of the SVO, member of the public chamber of the Kemerovo region Alexey Savin pointed out that the Kiev regime violates any agreements, which has become obvious to the whole world.

"I am confident that our President Vladimir Putin will not even ask the Ukrainian junta's opinion on diplomatic issues. In the SVO zone, we will fulfill the goals set and achieve the results that the people of Russia are interested in," he emphasized.

The executive director of the Association of Veterans of the SVO Dmitry Afanasyev noted that veterans of the special operation are very sensitive to issues of justice and closely follow the negotiations between the Russian Federation and the United States. There is no doubt that Putin will not allow the American side to achieve concessions in favor of Ukraine.

"The loud statements of the United States do not affect our firm position. The President will not retreat from Russia's interests," Afanasyev is confident.

Stalina Gurevich, a lawyer and blogger, noted that US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff has visited Russia several times recently. In her opinion, this is a sign that the options that the American politician offers Putin have not been accepted.

"Trump is, of course, a sly fox, but where he studied, Putin taught, so I think we will see recognition after all. At least from Crimea (for starters) and at least from the US," Gurevich said.

The lawyer also believes that the European Union and Great Britain will try to prevent this. It will watch the developments with interest.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on April 14 that Russia and the United States had not yet agreed on the main parameters of an agreement to resolve the conflict in Ukraine during negotiations. He added that Moscow and Washington maintain contacts and discussions on this issue are ongoing.

Putin received Witkoff in St. Petersburg on April 11. The talks lasted more than four hours, with the parties discussing, among other things, the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.

On March 18, Putin and Trump discussed the situation in Ukraine during a telephone conversation. The Russian president called the key condition for ending the fighting the suspension of foreign military aid to Kiev. This is also necessary to prevent the escalation of the conflict, he stressed.

That's One - 49 to Go (Murder by Psychotropics)
[GatewayPundit] Tennessee Passes Landmark Legislation Addressing the Big Pharma Role in Mass Violence and Behavioral Health – AbleChild Leads National Charge for Accountability

Tennessee Passes Landmark HB 1349/SB 1146 Targeting the Behavioral Health & Big Pharma Industries’ Role in Mass Violence—AbleChild Leads National Charge for Accountability

Nashville, TN — In a historic move to address systemic failures in mental health care and public safety, Tennessee has enacted HB 1349/SB 1146, a groundbreaking law requiring autopsies of suspected mass shooters to include toxicology screenings for psychotropic drugs. The legislation, co-drafted by AbleChild—the nation’s leading nonprofit advocating for informed consent and the right to refuse psychiatric products and services—and Amy Miller, former director of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Reform Pharma initiative, marks a seismic shift in how States confront mass violence.

THE LAW’S CORE MANDATE: SHINING LIGHT ON HIDDEN FACTORS
The bill, signed into law on April 10, 2025, mandates toxicology testing for deceased mass shooters who killed four or more individuals, including consultation with their mental health providers. It also calls for University of Tennessee Health Science Center (HSC) studies on interactions between psychotropic drugs and other substances in perpetrators’ systems, and public disclosure of psychotropic drug use by shooters upon request, with personal identifiers redacted.

The law amends Tennessee codes to prioritize transparency over privacy in cases of mass violence, directly challenging pharmaceutical and behavioral health industries to confront potential links between their products and practices and public safety risks.

ABLECHILD’S NATIONAL CRUSADE
AbleChild, a nonprofit with a 25-year history of battling psychiatric overreach and corporate influence, spearheaded the legislation as part of its national campaign to focus on HIPAA exceptions for perpetrators of mass violence, ensuring public access to critical drug histories, expose conflicts of interest between mental health organizations and pharmaceutical funding and combat off-label prescribing and unsafe psychotropic drug use in vulnerable populations, including children in foster care.

#1  A lot of people do not take the medicine that gets prescribed for them.

So, when you hear that a killer was "on psych meds" there's a good chance that in fact the killer was not taking the medicine, or was taking it irregularly.

Just sayin

#2  And the presence or absence of drug in brain tissue at autopsy has never been studied systematically -- in killers, in non-killers, in any large groups of humans.

Nevertheless, this TN law is a start.

The unforfunate reality is that a lot of people -- young and old -- do not function safely responsibly peacefully in civil society.

That's the reality -- past, present, future.

Whether we like it or not.

How the Trump administration is overhauling Coast guard
[FOXNEWS] The Trump administration is overhauling the Coast Guard in an attempt to crack down on illegal migrant crossings and drug interdictions.

This month, the Coast Guard unveiled its new Force Design 2028 plan to overhaul its organizational structure, personnel, acquisitions, contracting and technology—fulfilling directives from President Donald Trump
...So far he's been unkillable, and they've tried....
and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

The proposal seeks to bolster the Coast Guard’s force, which currently consists of roughly 43,000 active-duty personnel, and assess which specialties need reinforcement to expand training, responding to Trump administration calls to ramp up efforts against illegal immigration and drug smuggling, according to a Department of Homeland Security official familiar with the plan.

"This is focusing our efforts on where do we need to make investments in our current training centers and even look at opening new training centers to support growth in the service," the official told Fox News Digital on Thursday.

The Coast Guard is the only military service that falls under the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security. However, the blueprint’s restructuring plans seek to adapt certain standards for the Coast Guard to better align with the military branches that fall under the Department of Defense.

For example, the proposal calls for following the Department of Defense’s standards for physical fitness, body composition, and grooming standards. Unlike other military services, the Coast Guard did not enforce fitness standards unless personnel were attached to boat crews of law enforcement teams.

However, the Department of Homeland Security is coordinating with the Pentagon to change that. The Coast Guard is still determining whether this initiative will involve an annual fitness test, but the proposal directs the Coast Guard to adhere to Department of Defense physical fitness standards as closely as possible.

"We've definitely put an increased focus on what are the physical fitness requirements for the Coast Guard to be most successful in its missions for the nation," the official said.

Likewise, the blueprint also calls for organizational changes, including installing a secretary for the service, as well as creating a Coast Guard headquarters director of staff to enhance decision-making and other functions at a high operational level.

The blueprint aligns with legislation introduced in the Senate that would establish a civilian secretary for the Coast Guard, akin to the structure of the Navy, Army and Air Force. Currently, the Coast Guard only has an active duty commandant that oversees the service.

Republican Sens. Rick Scott of Florida and Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia introduced the measure on April 1 in an attempt to enhance the Coast Guard’s ability to adapt to its mission.

"The establishment of a Secretary of the Coast Guard is an important step in ensuring our nation’s maritime security is led with the strength and efficiency it deserves to ensure it can fulfill its mission and adapt to any challenges," Scott said in a statement on April 1.

Blue state [CA] ‘prioritizing the criminals' with $239M taxpayer-funded prison project, prosecutor says
[FoxNews] California officials say project will be complete by early 2026

A prosecutor in California blasted the state's $239 million taxpayer-funded project to build a prison rehabilitation center in the Bay Area, arguing that it's another example of politicians putting criminals ahead of law-abiding citizens.
I've expressed my opinion on the subject before,
Construction is ongoing at the San Quentin State Prison, where construction crews are building a Norway-style rehabilitation center with luxury amenities such as a grocery store, library, café, farmer's market and more. $360 million was initially allocated for the project, but the final cost to build the rehabilitation center is estimated to cost taxpayers around $239 million, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said Building 38 at San Quentin State Prison was demolished to make room for the rehabilitation center. The state agency said the rehab center is part of the "California Model," which is a "holistic initiative that leverages international, data-backed best practices to improve the well-being of those who live and work at state prisons."

A construction plan for the project shows that the new San Quentin Rehabilitation Center will feature an education and vocational center, along with other amenities like a media center, library, grocery store, café and a learning center. An initial plan for the rehabilitation center states that the on-site farmer's market will ideally be run by local producers.

The plan states that the concept for the San Quentin Rehabilitation Center "embodies a humane campus atmosphere" that promotes "growth and self-empowerment, while guaranteeing safety and security."

California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced the project in May 2023 and said the new rehabilitation center will "make all of us safer."

"California is transforming San Quentin – our state’s most notorious prison – into the nation’s most innovative rehabilitation facility focused on building a brighter and safer future. We are literally tearing down walls to reimagine our prison system, incentivize true rehabilitation, and end cycles of violence and crime," Newsom said.

Construction on the rehabilitation center is estimated to be completed by early 2026.

[ABCNEWS.G] A roadside kaboom suspected to have been planted by Islamic turbans in northeastern Nigeria struck a passenger bus, killing eight people and wounding more than a dozen others, authorities said.

The bus was traveling along the Damboa-Maiduguri highway in the conflict-battered Borno state on Saturday when it drove over the bomb, Borno state police front man Nahum Daso said in a statement.

Islamic turbans with the Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
group took up arms in 2009 to fight Western education and impose their radical version of Islamic law. The conflict, Africa's longest struggle with militancy, has spilled into Nigeria's northern neighbors and has left some 35,000 civilians dead and more than 2 million displaced, according to the U.N..

The forces of Evil who once controlled dozens of villages in the region have mostly been pushed to remote forests and the fringes of the Lake Chad. However,
some people cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go...
they still carry out ambushes and rampant attacks on communities where security forces are outnumbered and outgunned.

The latest attack renewed fears among residents and travelers in the state.

Rep. Curt Weldon: It's Time to Finally Tell the Truth About 9-11
[The Tucker Carlson Show] After twenty years in congress, Curt Weldon was about to become chairman of the House Armed Services Committee when he publicly questioned the accuracy of the 9-11 report. In retaliation, the Bush administration sent federal agents to his daughter’s house and ended his political career. At 77, Weldon has decided to tell the truth about what actually happened on September 11, 2001.

He alleged the 9/11 Commission ignored or suppressed this evidence, pointing to a cover-up. Weldon said Pentagon lawyers blocked Able Danger from sharing data with the FBI, potentially missing a chance to prevent the attacks. He faced pushback and claimed retaliation for raising these issues.

Trump admin secures release of American missionary held in Tunisia for 13 months, 27th American prisoner Trump got freed
[FoxNews] Robert Vieira was accused of espionage by Tunisian officials

An American missionary who was detained in Tunisia for over a year was released on Sunday.

Officials gained the release of U.S. citizen Robert Vieira on Sunday afternoon, according to a Reuters report citing U.S. special envoy Adam Boehler.

Boehler told the outlet that Vieira was doing missionary work when he was detained by Tunisian authorities 13 months ago.

Officials reportedly suspected Vieira of espionage.

Tunisia, a North African country bordered by Algeria and Libya, was amenable to Vieira's release after Boehler worked closely with its foreign minister, Mohamed Ali Nafti.

After being released on Sunday, Vieira flew back home to the U.S. alongside his family.

"We appreciate the government of Tunisia’s decision to resolve this case and allow Mr. Vieira to reunite with his family after more than 13 months of pre-trial detention," Boehler said.

Boehler credited his collaboration with Nafti for securing the detainee's release.

Mystery as house explodes in ritzy Austin neighborhood injuring six people
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Six people have been injured after a house was destroyed amid a mysterious fireball explosion in a ritzy Texas neighborhood on Sunday morning.

Austin Fire Department said crews rushed to the scene in Sette Tierra at 11.23am after the two-story property detonated and a car parked outside burst into flames.

The fiery blast was so powerful that 24 homes were damaged in total, while residents 20 miles away in Georgetown reported hearing the sonic boom.

Videos showing the aftermath showed the home was completely destroyed. Austin Fire Department extricated several people from the rubble.

Six people suffered injuries, including two people from the exploded home, two from the house next door, and two firefighters who responded at the scene.

Two residents are in critical conditions, while one is in a serious but stable condition, Austin County EMS public information officer Shannon Koesterer said.

Koesterer added that a fourth resident suffered minor injuries but refused to be taken to hospital.

FSB declassifies documents on the 1944 death of pioneer hero Vitya Korobkov in Crimea
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The FSB has declassified archival documents containing testimonies of witnesses about the death in Feodosia of the pioneer hero Vitya Korobkov and his father Mikhail Korobkov, who were captured by the Nazis in 1944. This was reported on April 14 by the department's department for Crimea and Sevastopol.

Father and son were members of a partisan detachment. In February, they were sent to the city because the elder Korobkov's tuberculosis had worsened. They were captured by the fascists in Feodosia.

The declassified documents contain information from Soviet intelligence officer Ibragim Aganin, who infiltrated the Nazis and worked as their translator. He reported that the Korobkovs did not admit to being partisans during interrogations.

"Investigator Büld shouted at the boy that he did not believe him, and in my presence he began to beat him. He hit him with his strong fists, and with each blow the boy hit the wall with force. In my presence the boy was also hit several times with a forged German boot by the translator Lamp," the document says.

Aganin reported that the boy's father was also beaten and then shown his son lying bloody on the floor and threatened that they would both die if they did not tell about their connections with the partisans. The elder Korobkov admitted that he had been given the task of helping if the underground fighters approached him. The father was shot on February 28, his son on March 9. The boy was 15 years old.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on April 11, the FSB published materials from interrogations of Nazi executioners who served in the German death camp in Treblinka. The fascists not only shot prisoners en masse, but also beat them with sticks, buried them in the sand, and killed them in other painful ways for fun.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that about half of the losses suffered by the USSR during the Great Patriotic War were civilians. There is ample evidence that the Nazis carried out mass executions of the civilian population. They also planned to turn those who survived into slaves, deprived of their native culture.

'Cutthroat Cowboys' Charged for Riding Horses in Louisiana Walmart
[Breitbart] Four people turned themselves in to police and now face charges after allegedly riding horses through a Walmart in Baker, Louisiana.

Police have charged the suspects, identified as Patrick Derozan, Mason Webb, Brendon Bridgewater, and a juvenile, with entering and remaining after being forbidden, unlawful post of criminal activity, and disturbing the peace following the incident that shocked those in the store and people who saw video of it, WAFB reported on Friday.

Video footage shows the young men apparently riding their steeds through the Walmart entrance as shoppers stand nearby. At first, the horses appear unsure of where they are headed but eventually move further into the building and past the self-checkout area:

The young men have referred to themselves as the “cutthroat cowboys,” with one of them claiming his steed is his “emotional support animal.”

When asked what the group was thinking before the stunt, Webb said it was fun and it made them famous. He added that they had no intention of hurting anyone.

When the reporter said some people claimed it was no different that bringing a dog into the store, Webb said, “Yeah, that’s my emotional support animal, basically”:

According to the Advocate, unlawful posting of criminal activity is a crime in the state and prohibits anyone from posting video footage or the streaming of a crime to get attention or publicity.

When speaking of the incident, Baker Police Chief Carl Dunn said it “might be fun to them at the time, but you know, this could’ve been real bad for other citizens,” adding “We’ve got to always think of others before we act.”

It appears the “Cutthroat Cowboys” were not the first ones to ride horses through Walmart. In 2018, a man rode a horse through a Houston location:

Ecuador re-elects President Daniel Noboa amid nationwide unease over crime
[FoxNews] Noboa carrying nearly 56% of the vote with over 90% of ballots counted

Daniel Noboa, the tough-on-crime firebrand president of Ecuador, was re-elected in Sunday's runoff.

Noboa, running under the right-wing National Democratic Action party label, handily defeated Luisa González of the leftist Citizen Revolution Movement – the party of influential former President Rafael Correa.

According to the National Electoral Council, Noboa received about 55.8% of the vote to González's 44%.

Over 90% of ballots have been tabulated, according to The Associated Press. Over 13 million people were eligible to vote – and in Ecuador, voting is compulsory.

A Miami-born heir to a large banana trade fortune, the largely politically-inexperienced Noboa emerged as the surprise winner of a 16-month presidency following a 2023 snap election to succeed former President Guillermo Lasso.

Bukele says Trump has 350 million Americans to 'liberate' by ending crime, terrorism
[FoxNews] Bukele condemns 'violence against women' when Trump asks if he lets men in women's sports

El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele met with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office to discuss how the two countries could coordinate on reducing violent crime in the United States.

El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele told President Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Monday that he has 350 million Americans to "liberate" by ending crime and terrorism in the United States.

"We know that you have a crime problem and a terrorism problem that you need help with. And we're a small country, but we can help," Bukele said. "We actually turned the murder capital of the world -- that was [what] the journalists called it – the murder capital of the world to the safest country in the Western Hemisphere."

"And I like to say that we actually liberated millions," Bukele said, with the line drawing praise from Trump.

"Mr. President, you have 350 million people to liberate," Bukele told Trump. "You cannot just, you know, free the criminals and think crime is going to go down magically, you have to imprison them so you can liberate 350 million Americans that are asking for the end of crime and the end of terrorism, and it can be done."

The Trump administration has been coordinating with Bukele on deportation flights, sending hundreds, including alleged Tren de Aragua gang members, to El Salvador's notorious Terrorism Confinement Center, known as CECOT.

Trump's 2024 campaign was critical of the Biden administration's catch-and-release border policies, as well as liberal bail reform laws in many Democratic jurisdictions that forced police to release suspects back onto the streets to reoffend.

Trump on Monday derided the "Democratic establishment," championing how the country would now be run by "common sense" after his election.

"Do you allow your men in women's sports? Do you allow men to box women?" Trump asked Bukele, referencing how the left has pushed for biological men to compete in women's sports.

The president of El Salvador remarked, "That's violence."

"That's abuse of a woman," Trump agreed. "But we have people that fight to the death because they think men should be able to play in women's sports."

'Mississippi Musk': State auditor's MOGE report finds $400M in government waste
[FoxNews] 'I promise you, your state governments around the country are likely even less efficient' than federal government, state auditor tells Fox News Digital

On Monday, Mississippi state auditor Shad White will release a compilation of audits conducted by his office that tabulated a collective $400 million in waste over the course of his tenure.

"In the last few weeks, we’ve jokingly started calling ourselves MOGE, the Mississippi Office of Government Efficiency, like Elon Musk’s DOGE," White told Fox News Digital, referring to Musk's Department of Government Efficiency under the Trump administration.

"We approach our work with the same attention to every penny as DOGE, and I’m happy to be Mississippi’s Musk," White said.

While the auditor’s office cannot cut any of the wasteful spending, it alerts state lawmakers to what it discovers.

"We've been working on this project really for the last couple of years. And what's encouraging right now is that President Trump and Elon Musk are doing DOGE, which has raised public awareness about the amount of fraud, waste and abuse in government," White said in his exclusive interview.

"So, people are starting to look closely at what we've uncovered. In our time in the state auditor's office, my team and I have uncovered about $400 million worth of waste."

That figure will be broken down in an 800-page report, which White will make public later Monday.

He said that Medicaid is a major issue, in that tens of millions of dollars in subsidies are going to income-ineligible Mississippians.

One state agency was spending nearly $6,000 each on televisions, which the similarly bloated feds pay about $2,000 for similar tech, he said.

"So, if you think the federal government is inefficient, I promise you, your state governments around the country are likely even less efficient," he said.
"We lose money on every transaction we do, but make up for it in volume"
Asked about slashing wasteful spending in DEI and elsewhere, White said that even in a red state like the Magnolia State, there is a lot to be discovered and trimmed down.

"[W]hen you dig into what they're doing with all of this staff time and all of these resources, they were doing things like holding microaggression training sessions for engineers — I don't know why we need to do that. They were handing out grants for social justice yoga for preschoolers. Just crazy stuff," he said, as $11 million in taxpayer funding has gone to DEI at colleges alone.

In the Magnolia State, 20% of people live below the poverty line, so efficient spending of federal and other public funds is paramount, White said.

Millions of misspent dollars came from welfare appropriations, including approved community gardens that were never built, or nonprofits who pledged to use funding to help the poor but instead padded executive salaries.

"We found dollars supposed to be going to poor folks going to pay for sponsorship of beauty pageants," he added.

"Really, I think the big-picture point here is, this kind of waste happens at every level of government. And now that DOJ is taking the lead and showing the country how much fraud, waste and abuse there is, it's really incumbent on every single state government to take a look at their own house and make sure that that fraud, waste, and abuse isn't happening in state government, too."

State auditor roles vary statutorily from state-to-state.

When asked whether White has worked with neighboring officials or if other Deep South states have collaborated on regional DOGE-type initiatives, White said that some states like Alabama have auditor roles with more limited statutory powers than his in Jackson.

But he said that Oklahoma auditor Cindy Byrd is working on a similar endeavor to uncover government waste in the Sooner State.

"We [state auditors] are in conversation with one another — and whether it's your state auditor or a key state legislator or the governor, really, every state needs to be starting a DOGE."

Nvidia announces plans to make AI supercomputers in US for first time
[FoxBusinessNews] Nvidia will manufacture its advanced Blackwell chips in Arizona with AI supercomputers to be made at new facilities in Texas

Nvidia on Monday announced plans to manufacture its artificial intelligence (AI) supercomputers entirely in the U.S. for the first time.

The AI chipmaking giant said it has worked with manufacturing partners to commission over 1 million square feet of manufacturing space to build and test Nvidia's advanced Blackwell chips in Arizona as well as AI supercomputers in Texas.

The company said it has already started production of Blackwell chips at TSMC's chip plant in Phoenix.

Nvidia is also building two supercomputer manufacturing plants in Texas – one with Foxconn in Houston and another with Wistron in Dallas. The company said it expects mass production to ramp up at both plants in the next 12 to 15 months.

"The engines of the world's AI infrastructure are being built in the United States for the first time," said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. "Adding American manufacturing helps us better meet the incredible and growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers, strengthens our supply chain and boosts our resiliency."

The company's AI supercomputers are used to power new data centers that are being created for the purpose of processing AI. It's planning to build tens of "gigawatt AI factories" in the coming years. Nvidia added that its AI chips and supercomputers at AI factories in the U.S. are "expected to create hundreds of thousands of jobs and drive trillions of dollars in economic security over the coming decades."

Nvidia said in its announcement that within the next four years, the company plans to produce up to $500 billion of AI infrastructure in the U.S. through its partnerships with TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor and SPIL.

The company added it will utilize advanced AI, robotics and digital twin technologies to design and operate the facilities – including the use of Nvidia Omniverse to create digital twins of its factories and Nvidia Isaac Groot to build robots that automate manufacturing.
digital twin robots ... ?
President Donald Trump acknowledged Nvidia's announcement in a post on Truth Social and later commented on the news from the White House on Monday.

"It's big. And the reason they did it is because of the election in Nov. 5 and because of a thing called tariffs," Trump said. "I want to thank Jensen and all of the people that we deal with, the great people, the brilliant people. And without tariffs, they wouldn't be doing it."

Earlier this year, Huang said that the "ChatGPT moment for general robotics is just around the corner" and unveiled Nvidia's Isaac Groot initiative to spur the development of robotics.

The Isaac Groot initiative gives developers of AI-enabled humanoid robots technology elements, including foundation models, data pipelines, simulation frameworks and a Thor robotics computer.

Yet another DEI commander who knows better than us pond scum
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]
… Instead of addressing mission readiness, combat effectiveness, or the welfare of her troops, she focused on being the "first" in terms of gender and ethnicity. This emphasis on identity over duty reflects a troubling shift in leadership priorities.

More concerning is that she successfully navigated the Army's Command Assessment Program (CAP), designed to select competent leaders. While CAP aims to provide a holistic view of an officer's capabilities, there's growing concern that it may inadvertently favor those who align with prevailing DEI narratives over those with proven leadership skills.

The previous Secretary of the Army solidified CAP's status as a permanent fixture right before she left office. It's imperative for the current administration to reassess its efficacy and ensure it truly identifies leaders based on merit and readiness.

Leadership should be about mission focus and troop welfare, not personal identity milestones. If our selection processes prioritize the latter, we risk compromising the very essence of military leadership.

Remember this and remember it well: CAP approved this woman for command. Take a look below and see who it did NOT approve. And keep in mind, this happens all the time. We've got awesome recruiting numbers now, great. Who's gonna lead them though?👇

Delta Force veteran forced to fend off brick-wielding maniac in unprovoked NYC attack: ''They feel safer in Kyiv''
[NYPOST] A decorated Delta Force vet suffered serious head injuries after being slammed in the head with a brick by an unhinged vagrant with a rap sheet in an unprovoked broad daylight attack.

Hero vet Mark Antal, 54, was standing outside an East Village pilates studio waiting for his young daughters when 44-year-old James Lawson began screaming for him to get off ''his street'' shortly before 11:30 am on Sunday, according to police and sources.

Lawson then allegedly lunged at Antal and the two got into a scuffle — with the deranged maniac allegedly picking up a brick and slamming it into the victim's head, police said.

Despite being dazed by the blow, Antal was able to wrestle Lawson to the ground and waited for cops to arrive after bystanders called 911, sources said.
Remarkable restraint
The ugly episode sent both men to the hospital — and left a bitter taste for Antal and his family.

“We are grateful that Mark is alive and concerned about damage to his brain and head,” his wife, Christine, told The Post on Monday. “We are worried about our neighborhood and our children. Our children should not be afraid to be outside on a sunny Sunday morning.”

Lawson was also hurt in the scuffle and is being held at Bellevue Hospital and second-degree assault charges pending an arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court.

Records show that Lawson has five prior unsealed arrests, including two felonies.

His latest bust came on April 9, when was charged in two separate incidents — allegedly smashing a glass at a bar on Avenue B and reaching into a car and grabbing the victim’s phone on Second Avenue.

Lawson was arraigned on those charges on April 11 and released without bail. The charges are not bail eligible under the Empire State’s controversial criminal justice reforms.

Meanwhile, Christine Antal said the incident shook up their family — even though they are no strangers to trauma. They run the nonprofit Task Force Antal, which provides humanitarian assistance to victims in some of the world’s most war-torn regions.

This is Biden's war, not mine.
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Ressian military journalist Boris Rozhin:

[ColonelCassad] Trump accused Biden and Zelensky of starting the war in Ukraine because of them.

"The war between Russia and Ukraine is Biden's war, not mine. I had nothing to do with this war, but I am now making efforts to stop the death and destruction. If the 2020 presidential election had not been rigged, this terrible war would never have happened. President Zelensky and Lying Joe Biden did a terrible job allowing this tragedy to begin. There were many ways to prevent it. But that is in the past. Now we need to stop it - and fast" (c) Trump

On the one hand, yes, Biden and Zelensky deliberately unleashed a war in 2022, but Trump is disingenuous when he says that he had nothing to do with it.

Under Trump in 2017-2020, the arming of Ukraine continued, the Volker-Surkov negotiations were effectively profaned, and Trump turned a blind eye to the development of Nazism in Ukraine, although it was obvious under Poroshenko.

Trump also effectively turned a blind eye to the sabotage and disruption of the Minsk agreements by Germany and France, which used them to prepare Ukraine for war against Russia.

So Trump's stories that he has nothing to do with this war are a pathetic lie. His responsibility is simply somewhat less than that of Biden and Zelensky.

The actions of former US President Joe Biden, when he was in power, and the head of the Kiev regime Volodymyr Zelensky provoked the beginning of an armed conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by the current US leader Donald Trump on April 14.

"Zelensky and crook Joe Biden did a terrible job allowing this charade to happen. There were so many ways this could have been prevented," he wrote on Truth Social.

Trump stressed that he had nothing to do with starting the conflict, but is now working hard to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. He also said that the bloodshed needs to be stopped as quickly as possible.

#1  Trump was probably naive in thinking he could get Zelensky to come clean about Biden's corrupt activities in Ukraine. Other than that I don't believe he gave a rat's ass about it and he should be excused for that. The only people who really care about Ukraine are the corrupt politicians who think they can get in on the graft. At least he didn't insist on expanding NATO.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
'A Group of Anarchist Pensioners': Discontent with War Growing in the Israeli Army
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Leonid Tsukanov

[REGNUM] Over the past few days, the Israeli government has been forced to find a way to approach its own army. An overly harsh reaction to an open letter from retired military pilots dissatisfied with the protracted war in Gaza has provoked similar letters from other units and even the intelligence services.

And although the escalation is taking place mainly “on paper,” without spilling over into street protests and sabotage, for the Israeli government, the wavering army poses a much greater threat than it seems at first glance.

LETTER FROM THE PILOTS
The first sign of the image crisis was an open letter from veterans and reservists of the Israeli Air Force, published on one of the national Internet portals. The letter was signed by more than 950 soldiers and officers - mostly retirees, but among them there were also reservists and contract soldiers.

The signatories lashed out at Benjamin Netanyahu's government, saying the protracted war in Gaza serves the political and personal interests of the Israeli establishment rather than the security interests of the Jewish state.

Moreover, the escalating Operation Power and Sword in the enclave, which the Israeli government is trying to present as the final stage of defeating Hamas, is seen by the retirees as a “deferred military catastrophe.” It puts the hostages still in Gaza on the brink of death, depletes the military reserves, and increases Israel’s vulnerability to external enemies.

The Israeli leadership reacted unexpectedly sharply to the attack against it.

Less than a day after the letter was published, Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir and Air Force Commander Tomer Bar announced at a joint briefing that all "troublemakers" had been dismissed from military service and the reserves. Moreover, according to Bar, the Air Force command "managed to bring to their senses" at least two dozen servicemen, and they withdrew their signatures.

Netanyahu himself completed the public rout of the military pilots. Commenting on the scandal, he called the authors of the letter "an anarchic group of pensioners" that is financed from abroad and undermines domestic stability.

WORKSHOP SOLIDARITY
Although the authorities' harsh response should, in theory, have nipped unrest in the army in the bud, the overly emotional attacks of senior army officials produced the opposite effect.

Within a few days, the appeal of military pilots was supported by representatives of all key branches of the armed forces. The total number of signatories of open letters exceeded three thousand people.
The IDF has roughly 169,500 active duty soldiers and 465,000 reserves at the moment, totalling 634,500. Three thousand is less than 1/2 of a per cent, a tiny fraction of the total…
The most numerous were representatives of the airborne and infantry units (about a thousand people), combat divers from Shayetet 13 (about 170 people), missilemen from the Moran special forces unit (120 people), and special forces from the Shaldag group (50 people). The remaining signatories expressed their position anonymously, without mentioning their assigned units.

In addition, at least 250 Mossad employees (mostly under pseudonyms), about 150 military doctors and several dozen electronic intelligence officers from Unit 8200 have signed the already published appeals “out of count”.

Despite the fact that many military personnel expressed their civic position as private individuals, the totality of their open letters can well be considered a manifesto of the security bloc and the first sign of the army’s dissatisfaction with the government’s policies.

EVEN THE PRIME MINISTER'S COLLEAGUES ARE UNHAPPy
Of course, the outraged retirees are only a small part of the active reserve of the Israeli armed forces, the total size of which exceeds 500 thousand people. Nevertheless, their discontent can greatly affect the situation inside the country, as well as on the external contour.

Prime Minister Netanyahu's critics point out that the purges of the reserves initiated by him and his protégé in the General Staff weaken the national air force before a hypothetical conflict with Iran.

Official Tel Aviv does not have much faith in the success of American-Iranian negotiations around the nuclear program and is preparing to eliminate the “Iranian dossier” by force, relying on an airstrike on key nuclear infrastructure facilities.

However, skeptics point out that after the scandal with the dismissal of pilots, the Air Force reserve has weakened and, if the operation suddenly goes wrong, the personnel available for operational use may simply not be enough.

The change in mood in the ranks of elite units like the Sayeret Matkal counter-terrorism unit, in whose ranks Netanyahu himself once fought, is also alarming. About twenty commandos, including former colleagues of the prime minister, signed the open letter.

In small Israeli special forces units, the idea of military brotherhood is strongly developed, and any attempts to put pressure on individual soldiers “from above” are perceived as a challenge to the unit as a whole.

And although the Netanyahu government is certainly not at risk of a “palace coup” in the spirit of the Egyptian “Free Officers,” unrest in the army ranks is fraught with the weakening of electoral support for the ruling coalition.

BATTLE FOR SUPPORT
Opposition figures in uniform are rushing to take advantage of the weakening of contacts between the authorities and the army: former Defense Minister Benny Gantz (leader of the parliamentary opposition), former Chief of the General Staff Gadi Eisenkot (State-minded Camp), and retired commander of the IDF's elite units Yair Golan (Democrats Alliance), whose tactical alliance is called the "generals' opposition."

They had previously criticized Netanyahu for his mistakes in the fight for the hostages, and now they have the opportunity to link their own criticism to the position of the “lower ranks of the army” and to enlist their support. Some military pilots who were fired after the scandal have already received an offer from the opposition to join their party actions in support of the hostages and even to become their face.

The opposition has a reason to rush to involve the wounded army men. The planned elections in Israel are scheduled for October 2026, but they may be held early - the coalition has already teetered on the brink of losing legitimacy several times.

Moreover, public opinion polls provide contradictory information.

According to estimates by the conservative Channel 14, in a hypothetical election, the ruling Likud party would still be in the lead and would even show a slight increase in mandates (controlling up to a quarter of the Knesset), while the military-led Statist Camp and Democrats parties would be at the bottom of the list and could, at best, count on a dozen seats in the overall standings.

The weekly newspaper Maariv paints a different picture. In its polls, Netanyahu's party receives at best two dozen mandates, and the gap with the opposition is reduced to a minimum. Moreover, the "generals' opposition", having joined forces, is quite capable of bypassing Likud.

Given the gradual drift of the army towards rejection of the policies of the current government, the likelihood of such an outcome increases significantly.

Trump White House to PBS & NPR: ''You're Cut Off!''—Slashes $1.1B, Cites Big Time Bias — Twitchy
[TWITCHY] It appears President Trump is ready to follow through with pulling funds from public broadcasting. It's about time. It's become a cesspool of Leftist dorks.

WASHINGTON — The White House has begun to notify Congress of its request to eliminate ''all'' public broadcasting funding and codify foreign aid cuts identified by Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency, The Post has learned.

Major proposed clawbacks in the so-called ''rescissions'' plan include $1.1 billion appropriated for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which provides funds to PBS and National Public Radio, and $8.3 billion from USAID.

A memo drafted by White House budget director Russ Vought — and requested by GOP congressional leaders — accuses CPB of a ''lengthy history of anti-conservative bias'' and cites ''waste, fraud, and abuse'' at USAID.

Formal transmission of the plan to lawmakers will start a 45-day clock for the Republican-held House and Senate to either adopt or reject the blueprint, which the White House believes will pass — unlike President Trump's 2018 rescission plan, which failed by one vote in the Senate.

Let's get this show on the road.

The Russians spotted a Ukrainian reconnaissance UAV in the sky and brought Strelka into the field, trying to shoot it down. But the launch of two missiles was unsuccessful - the drone pilots skillfully dodged the missiles.

After the unsuccessful interception, the enemy tried to retreat, but did not have time. The FPV drone strike hit the target precisely, causing serious damage to the anti-aircraft system.

15.01 Two Russian servicemen involved in committing war crimes during the occupation of Bucha in the Kyiv region have been identified and notified of suspicion. "This is why I called Putin evil... As a pastor and peacemaker, I strongly condemn Russia's horrific bombing of a church in Sumy, Ukraine, on Palm Sunday - a day meant for worship and spiritual renewal for Christians around the world. This brutal attack, which mercilessly targeted innocent parishioners gathered in peace to celebrate Palm Sunday, is an assault on humanity, faith, and the sanctity of life. In Sumy, this barbaric act claimed at least 32 lives (34 - ed.)," Burns said.

12:36 Following the Russian missile strike on Sumy, the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned a representative of the Russian Embassy in Lithuania.

04:36 During the Easter holidays, Russia is attacking Ukrainian cities with missiles and drones, once again proving that "nothing is sacred" for it, the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations (AUCCRO) said in a statement. It noted that despite the festive period associated with the celebration of the Jewish Passover and Christian Easter, the Russian state is now terrorizing Ukrainian cities and villages every day and night with drone and missile attacks and bombings.

03:15 Probable future German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that he was always ready to support the transfer of TAURUS missiles to Ukraine if this decision was agreed upon with European partners.

"The British do it, the French do it, the Americans do it anyway," he noted.

02:55 Finnish President Alexander Stubb has issued a strong statement in response to the missile attack on Sumy on April 13.

"Russia continues to wage its brutal war of invasion. Tragic events have occurred again today - civilians have been killed in Sumy. This act of terror once again proves that Moscow ignores both international and humanitarian law," Stubb wrote.

02:00 Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schof said that Russia's missile strike on Sumy once again underlines the importance of increasing pressure on the aggressor and the need for further support for Ukraine, in particular by supplying air defense systems.

"There has been a horrific Russian attack in the centre of the Ukrainian city of Sumy, leaving dozens of victims, many of them children. This attack shows once again that we must continue to increase pressure on Russia and continue to support Ukraine - for example with air defences - so that Ukraine can protect itself from this violence," he said.

01:14 Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said the United States should impose additional sanctions on Russia if it does not agree to peace. Graham accused Moscow of a barbaric attack on Christian believers in Ukraine.

00:25 Russian troops attacked Odessa with attack drones on the evening of April 13. As a result of the attack, the ceiling and glazing of one of the medical institutions were damaged, and the operating room was damaged.

Here''s Why Maine's Governor Threw a Hissy Fit Over Donald Trump
[TOWNHALL] On Monday, Maine Governor Janet Mills lashed out at President Donald Trump
...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party...
for freezing funding for education in the state after state officials asserted they would not comply with federal Title IX policies barring men from women's sports.

To recap, Townhall previously covered how President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning so-called ''transgender women'' from women's sports. Despite this, Maine openly defied this order. Trump confronted Mills about this to her face, telling her that she'll lose funding if her state doesn't comply with the order.

Trump kept his word, pausing all education funding to the state last week.

In an interview with MSNBC, Mills said that Trump's decision was ''not rational.''

''I support Title IX. I have spent my career, the better part of my career, defending and protecting the rights of women and girls—and I'm appalled at his [Trump's] interpretation that he can just reinvent the law,'' Mills said, not mentioning the fact that the Biden administration initially ''reinterpreted'' Title IX to allow the basis of sex to include the concept of ''gender identity.''

Borno Under Siege: Boko Haram Kills 300 In Six Months, Controls 3 Local Govt Areas —Senator Ndume
[SAHARAREPORTERS] Senator Ali Ndume has expressed concern over the escalating resurgence of Boko Haram

terrorism in Borno State, revealing that over 300 lives have been lost in 252 attacks within the last six months.

He warned that the situation is rapidly deteriorating, with three local government areas—Gudumbari, Marche, and Abadam—now entirely under Boko Haram control.

Ndume, who represents Borno South Senatorial District, spoke to journalists in Abuja on Sunday following a high-level security meeting between Governor Babagana Zulum and the nation's military top brass, according to Vanguard.

The delegation included all three Borno senators, a House of Representatives member, and the governor himself.

''We are worried because just from November last year to date, we experienced 252 attacks in Borno State. In this six-month period, over 100 soldiers were killed. Over 200 non-combatants were killed,'' Ndume said.

The senator commended the efforts of the Nigerian military but acknowledged that they are severely overstretched and under-resourced, despite having eliminated over 800 faceless myrmidons within the same period.

He noted that infighting between factions of Boko Haram and the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
West Africa Province (ISWAP) also resulted in an estimated 500 terrorist deaths.

''The Army is doing their best, but they can't do it without trained and adequate troops," Ndume said.

''If these things are to be addressed, they must be trained, they must be equipped, they must be armed, and they must be motivated. That's what I call TEAM.''

Balancing economics and security on the Nigeria-Cameroon border
[ISSAFRICA.ORG] The two countries must cooperate to stop Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
from taking advantage of open borders to revive their operations.

On 27 January, the governors of Borno in Nigeria and Cameroon
...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there...
's Far North Region inaugurated a livestock market in Banki, once a major hub of cross-border trade between the two countries. The Amchid -Banki border post, like several others between Cameroon and Nigeria, was closed in 2014 at the height of Boko Haram activity in the region.

In early 2014, the violent mostly peaceful bully boy group had moved to Banki, where it planned attacks on Cameroon. Nigeria closed the border to prevent further incursions. Cameroon closed the Fotokol-Gambaru border crossing after the 2015 Gamboru battle and attacks on other nearby border posts.

As military operations and the region's stabilisation strategy improved security, the Amchid -Banki border was reopened in 2019, followed by the Fotokol-Gambaru crossing in 2021.

Border crossings and sites of Boko Haram activity, Nigeria-Cameroon border

The closures had disrupted the booming cross-border market that sustained the border communities' economy. For most of its neighbours, Nigeria is the region's leading economic and trade partner. Goods from Nigeria pass through Amchid , Limani and Fotokol on their way to Chad, Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
and the Central African Republic.

The three towns are therefore important transit centres and warehouses for local traders, creating jobs and revenue through taxes that local authorities can use for development initiatives.

Overall, reopening the borders has contributed to Cameroon's national economy through customs duties. Far North customs data reviewed by the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) revealed that before Boko Haram attacks started in 2013, the most profitable office in the region was Limani, which generated annual revenue of XAF1 114 791 860 (around US$1 900 000). In 2024, after reopening the borders, revenue reached XAF2 201 420 676 (around US$3 800 000). In Fotokol, XAF1 519 630 651 (US$2 600 000) was collected in 2024.

But Boko Haram has not been defeated, and still presents a security threat to both countries. While reopening borders has undoubtedly revitalised the regional economy, it has also benefitted the Death Eaters — allowing them to regroup and target traders and local communities.

Hezbollah's drone supply chain uncovered across Europe - report
[Jpost] Since October 2023, the Iran-backed, Lebanon-based terror group carried out hundreds of drone attacks against the Jewish State.

Hezbollah's network for acquiring materials to produce drones to attack Israel spans across multiple European countries, French daily Le Figaro reported last week.

Starting in October 2023, the Iran-backed, Lebanon-based terror group carried out hundreds of drone attacks against the Jewish State, with reports from mid-October suggesting it had some 2,000 drones in its arsenal.

According to Le Figaro, three Lebanese individuals arrested in July of 2024 were suspected of buying such materials via Spanish companies they owned.

The components bought in Catalonia, which included electronic guidance systems, propulsion propellers, and hundreds of electric engines, sufficed to make drones capable of transporting several kilos of explosives, the report noted.

Catalonia resident Firas A.H. was suspected of buying "Materials that could be converted into weapons of war that could be used against civilian and military targets in Israel and Europe," the French daily cited the Spanish authorities as saying.

According to Le Figaro, citing Spanish authorities, the network intended "To imminently proceed with the shipment by sea to Lebanon of a massive quantity of essential components for the construction of unmanned aircraft, with the resulting risk to collective security and, in particular, to the safety of Israeli citizens."

In Germany, too, security forces operating in July of last year arrested a suspect, Fadel Z., over his Hezbollah membership.

Most recent crackdowns against the network were carried out in France, the UK, and Spain in early April.

In Spain, the additional operation saw the arrest of three more suspects.

The French General Directorate for Internal Security arrested a suspect who was being investigated over criminal terrorist conspiracy with the aim of preparing acts of terrorism. Concurrently, the UK Metropolitan Police announced it had arrested two suspected Hezbollah members in London over their membership with the terror group and involvement in preparing terrorist attacks.

Negotiations in Oman: What Iran and the US were able to agree on
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Kirill Semenov

[REGNUM] On April 12, delegations from the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and the United States, led by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, concluded the first round of talks in Muscat, mediated by the Sultanate of Oman.

The parties assessed the results of the first meeting with cautious optimism. However, against the backdrop of mostly pessimistic expert forecasts preceding the event, one can even speak of a certain success.

US President Donald Trump also described the talks as successful. "I think things are going well, the situation with Iran, I think, is pretty good," he said.

DIRECT NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE US AND INDIRECT ONES FOR IRAN
In general, the current meeting in Oman can be characterized as "negotiations about negotiations" - the parties are only trying to feel out each other's positions and moods, as well as compare topics that can be discussed. First of all, it is necessary to decide what exactly should be on the negotiating table and what should be negotiated, since all previous statements and comments showed a wide range of what the US and Iran can declare and even present to each other.

In particular, Araghchi, after leaving Muscat, said: “Today we came very close to the basis of the negotiations” and made it clear that the upcoming session, scheduled to be held in a week, will focus on discussing the agenda of the negotiations with an appropriate schedule.

It is also significant that the US and Iranian delegations gathered at the same hotel in Muscat but were in separate rooms while Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi relayed messages between them.

As Abbas Araghchi told Iranian media, a total of four rounds of exchange of opinions took place over the course of two and a half hours.

This format of the negotiators' placement allowed each side to maintain its own opinion on the format of the meeting. From the Americans' point of view, these were direct contacts. The Iranians still considered them indirect.

It was essential for Iran to show that Tehran still views the Trump administration's unilateral withdrawal from the nuclear deal during his last term and the imposition of new rounds of illegal sanctions as a treacherous and hostile act against the Islamic Republic.

Therefore, for direct negotiations to be possible, the Iranian side had to be convinced of Washington’s constructive approach and its rejection of the language of ultimatums and demands for unilateral concessions from Iran.

Now, as the Iranian Mehr News writes, the American delegation demonstrated that same “constructive” approach, and the negotiations took place in a “positive atmosphere” and will therefore continue next week.

In turn, it was important for the US to declare these contacts direct. The Trump administration urgently needs to demonstrate at least some successes in its “100 days,” and in this case, direct negotiations with Iran can be presented as such.

What added significance to this American point of view was the fact that as the two sides were leaving the hotel, they met face to face. Abbas Araghchi personally exchanged pleasantries with his American counterpart Steve Witkoff in the presence of Badr bin Hamad. At the same time, the Iranian minister stressed that the “meeting at the door” was “accidental.”

JUST THE NUCLEAR DOSSIER AND NOTHING MORE
The topic of what the next rounds of negotiations might be about takes us back to Whitkoff's statements on March 21.

At the time, the special envoy stated bluntly that the United States was seeking a “verification program” to ensure that Iran’s nuclear energy program was not being used for military purposes. Tehran had also expressed readiness for such an agreement.

However, Whitkoff's position was later contradicted by other US administration officials, who called for dismantling Iran's nuclear infrastructure, as happened in Libya.

Naturally, such a scenario was considered humiliating and unacceptable for the Islamic Republic. After that, threats of force rained down on Tehran.

At the same time, the current relatively successful outcome of the first round of consultations suggests that Witkoff, with the support of Vice President J.D. Vance (who are considered the main “pragmatists” regarding Iran), managed to overcome the resistance of the “hawks” and the pro-Israel lobby and convince Donald Trump to accept their approach.

Therefore, the exchanges of messages in Muscat concerned exclusively the “nuclear dossier”.

It should be especially emphasized that the US delegation did not put forward demands regarding Iran’s missile program and the end of support for the “axis of resistance” groups, which had been voiced earlier.

The United States has already made some concessions to begin negotiations, and Trump is willing to sign a short-term, interim nuclear deal based on "good faith" with "virtually no formal monitoring mechanisms," CNN reports.

This was also perceived by the Iranian side as a "constructive approach", so it cannot be ruled out that at the next stage Iran and the US will agree to direct negotiations. They can take place either in Oman or in one of the European countries. Perhaps the US and Iran want to see how the Europeans would gradually begin to join the process of developing a new deal.

Regarding its possible parameters, the announced Iranian proposals included: easing sanctions, including pressure on Chinese companies that buy Iranian oil; unblocking access to Iranian billions of dollars frozen abroad, as well as Iran retaining the ability to work on a peaceful nuclear program.

In exchange, Iran is willing to return to the terms of the 2015 deal, which Trump abandoned during his first term, regarding uranium enrichment levels.

According to other sources, in addition to the above positions, Iran has proposed to the United States the concept of a nuclear-free Middle East, which should include a corresponding renunciation by Israel of nuclear weapons and related research.

ISRAEL VS.
For Iran, it was also important in the current negotiations to achieve respectful attitude of the United States towards the Islamic Republic. This is a matter of international prestige of the IRI.

Iran is extremely negative about the refusal of the UN Security Council and leading states to condemn Trump for unilaterally withdrawing from the deal and moving towards a policy of confrontation with Iran, the most obvious example of which was the assassination of one of the leading military commanders of the IRGC, Qasem Soleimani.

Therefore, although Tehran was ready for dialogue with Washington, it was only on an equal footing.

At the same time, despite this, not everyone in Iran believes in the sincerity of the US desire to conclude a new deal.

As a well-informed Iranian source, who wished to remain anonymous, told Regnum, "experience shows that the Americans do not want an agreement" and the "hawks" will be able to convince Trump of their rightness again. Also, according to the Iranian official, Israel's position is causing concern in Tehran.

It is clear that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not accept a deal pushed by American pragmatists that would leave Iran with its ballistic missiles as a threat to Israel. For the radical Zionist government, only a massive strike capable of disabling all Iranian weapons systems aimed at Tel Aviv would be considered acceptable.

Therefore, Iran expects any provocations from Israel.

It is also clear from the comments of Israeli analysts and experts that the current situation in the Middle East is starting to turn against Israel. And President Trump has apparently found the strength to rein in Netanyahu, accept the US-Iran negotiations as a given, and come to terms with it.

This was most likely what was discussed during the negotiations between the US President and the Israeli Prime Minister during the latter’s visit to Washington on April 8, but the delicate nature of this dialogue forced it to be left outside the announced information agenda.

In particular, Dan Diker, president of the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs, said that Israel believes that the time has come to act. Especially after Iran carried out a series of direct strikes on Israel in 2024. "Israel does not see any more room for negotiations,” Diker told The Media Line.

In his opinion, the current diplomatic track with the Islamic Republic of Iran is a continuation of the long-standing war of deception waged by Iran.

The Israeli believes the Iranians are too happy to drive a wedge between Israel and the United States, as they did under Obama.

"Israelis are deeply skeptical that diplomacy can succeed, especially if the outcome is similar to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal," said Danny Cytrynovich, a research fellow in the Iran program at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv.

He stressed that Israel could be cornered if the new deal does not substantially dismantle Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

In this regard, a representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who wished to remain anonymous, drew the attention of the Regnum news agency to the fact that in these conditions the position of Russia and China takes on a special role.

Their job is to continue to convince the Americans that now is a good time to restore the deal and lift sanctions, in defiance of pressure from Israel, which is sure to continue.

" Iran's policy on the nuclear program is clear. We have given and can give guarantees that our program is peaceful and will be peaceful, and we are confident that there is no reason to think otherwise," the Iranian emphasized.

***

If the Trump administration has indeed adopted a solutions-oriented approach to limiting and more closely monitoring Iran's uranium enrichment capabilities, then significant progress is likely to be possible in the future.

At the moment, the risk of a military clash between Iran and the US has significantly decreased, although Israeli provocations are still possible. But for now, it seems that Tel Aviv has no leverage to turn the situation in its favor. Unilateral strikes on Iran could enrage Trump personally, from whom any unpredictable consequences can be expected, and this is an extremely high risk for Netanyahu.

In a letter the US president sent to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei last month, Trump set a clear two-month deadline to reach an understanding. It is unclear what will happen if the parties fail to reach an agreement in two months, and whether the US position will change from benevolent to confrontational again.

Moreover, we do not yet know what proposals the Americans will make regarding Iran’s nuclear program and how much they will differ from the Iranian ones.

On the other hand, many observers interpret the two-month stance to mean that the US is not necessarily pushing for an immediate comprehensive agreement that would end the decades-long dispute, but would potentially open the way to temporary measures that could buy time for further diplomacy.

Albuquerque Man Charged in Twin Arson Attacks on Tesla Dealership, GOP Headquarters
See also here.
[TOWNHALL] An Albuquerque man with a disturbing criminal history has been charged in connection with two politically charged arson attacks—one targeting a Tesla dealership and the other the Republican Party of New Mexico's headquarters. The suspect, who had previously expressed anti-establishment and krazed killer views, is now facing federal charges as authorities investigate what appears to be a deliberate assault on political and economic symbols that don't align with far-left ideology.

On Monday, authorities charged Jamison Wagner in connection with two separate arson attacks—one at a Tesla showroom and the other at the Republican Party of New Mexico headquarters. In the first incident, Wagner allegedly set fire to two Tesla vehicles and vandalized the building with graffiti, including phrases like ''Tesla Nazi Inc.'' and red and black swastikas. Two months later, the GOP office was similarly targeted in an arson attack. Investigators linked Wagner to both crimes after discovering matching improvised incendiary devices—glass containers filled with flammable liquid and sealed with distinctive green lids—at both scenes. Investigators also noted a hand-written capital ''I'' or ''H'' letter on the top of the green metal lid.

''Let this be the final lesson to those taking part in this ongoing wave of political violence,'' Attorney General Pamela Bondi said. ''We will arrest you, we will prosecute you, and we will not negotiate. Crimes have consequences.''

On April 12, the FBI and ATF searched Wagner's home and uncovered significant evidence tying him to both arson attacks. Among the items found were a white cardboard box containing eight suspected incendiary devices, blue Styrofoam egg cartons matching the polystyrene used in the improvised napalm at the Tesla fire, and jars with green gingham-style lids similar to one recovered at the Republican Party of New Mexico fire. Investigators also found several jars labeled with handwritten capital letters ''I'' or ''H,'' consistent with markings seen on lids at both scene of the crimes.

A powerful magnetic storm will cover the Earth on April 16
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] A G2 magnetic storm will hit the Earth on April 16. This was reported on April 14 by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics.

"According to scientists' forecasts, the geomagnetic background will change sharply around 15:00. The space storm will reach the G2 level, which corresponds to the average level," the report says.

Scientists added that closer to nighttime the storm will subside to the G1 level and gradually end.

According to experts, on April 17 the geomagnetic background will again increase, but will not reach storm levels.

Earlier, on April 5, a magnetic storm was also recorded on Earth. The level of disturbances of the geomagnetic field, reflecting the power of the storm, reached 5.67 units. This is higher than the weak level, but slightly below average.
