The Deep State and Genocide in South Africa Going Global – Alex Newman
[USAWatchdog] Journalist Alex Newman, author of the popular book "Deep State" and the recent best-selling book called "Indoctrinating Our Children to Death," is warning people to pay attention to the genocide of white farmers in South Africa. What is happening there is something the Deep State wants to take global in their tyrannical takeover of all life and property on Earth. Newman, who once lived in South Africa, warns, "What’s happening down there to them is a microcosm, and that’s what they have planned for you, your country, your family and what’s left of the Christian West. . . . What I have documented (in 2012) very clearly and very unambiguously is this racist, murderous, communist program taking place in South Africa was backed by the highest levels of Deep State power. This includes the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the US State Department, including their allies and partners in Great Britian, and they all knew the Soviet Union was behind this and other communist governments were behind this. This is a monstrosity piled on a monstrosity and, again, what they are doing to the Afrikaners (white farmers) now, they plan to do to you as soon as they get the opportunity. Instead of amalgamating all these nations under a South African government, they want to amalgamate all these nations under a one world system. Barack Obama has said over and over again that he was inspired to get into politics because of what they were doing in South Africa. This all comes together here—and you are next. That’s why it’s important to watch what is happening in South Africa."

What are the tools the Deep State uses to gain total control? Look no further than the new global UN pandemic treaty and the huge push for climate change laws to give control to a few people at the top. Let’s start with the recently passed UN pandemic treaty, which President Trump cancelled for America. Newman says, "They have a clause about ’misinformation,’ which means you can’t speak out or ask questions about what injections they demand you and your children take. It’s got digital infrastructure . . . . So, they will track everything, which will pave the way for international vaccine passports. . . . It gives exemptions (to drug makers) and fast tracks the same outrageous process that we have seen before in emergency use authorization (EUA). That is whatever crazy concoction they come up with and then tell us all what we need. It is everything that was wrong with Covid on steroids enshrined into international law."

The Climate Change hoax is equally disturbing. Newman says, "It’s not just our wealth that they are taking. They are taking from us our ability to produce wealth. This dawned on me in Paris. I was at the climate summit there around 2015. You had Barack Obama pledging to slash American CO2 emissions by a third over the next decade. This is essentially chopping American economic activity down. Meanwhile, the Communist Chinese were pledging they were going to keep increasing their CO2 emissions. To their credit, they absolutely lived up to that. . .. So, what happened was as we were shutting down our power plants and stopping energy production in this country . . . this was making manufacturing and business uncompetitive if you were operating in a global market. You could not continue doing business in the United States with energy prices skyrocketing while energy prices in China were stable or going down. They hollowed out our productive capacity and moved it over to Communist China under the scam of ’Saving the Climate’. . .. That’s what is going on here, and Trump got us out of this whole thing. You cannot overstate the significance of this."

Government Corruption
Think I Know What Has Been Going On In Georgia...
[GEORGIARECORD] One of the hallmarks of the world-wide globalist movement has been the intentional looting of 'Republican' coffers to prevent election of grassroots candidates, all by those screaming they are 'Republicans' and we need to 'unite'!

The Georgia Record reported in-depth last year on the Fulton County GOP 'Trust' issue, where millions of dollars that should have gone to Fulton County Republican candidates over almost two decades instead were 'mismanaged', in an admission by those involved in the management of those funds for years.

The above Fulton developments are a perfect example of the looting of funds I am referencing that is going on nationwide.

Now word comes out this morning that the GA GOP Accounting Director Karen Hentschel may have been involved in felony crimes in the past, including 'theft by misappropriation' and 'cocaine'.

As we pointed out in our reporting, Henschel has been accused of filing reports in the name of GA GOP Treasurer Laurie McClain without McClain's approval or knowledge. Henschel has been in the same position for 16 years.

This comes on top of reports showing personal expenses charged to GA GOP accounts.

GA GOP Chair Josh McKoon could quiet all these questions by allowing McClain access to GA GOP finances as her job would require, but he refuses to do so.

It has been reported that approximately $100 million has flowed through the GA GOP accounts over the last decade and a half. Was it all without transparency?

All of this is transpiring under the cloud of a corporate structure being laid over the GA GOP political party, preventing disclosure, and which has not filed required documents to the GA Secretary of State in years. Does the GA Republican Party still exist?

In a bizarre development, documents of the corporate transition were sealed in the settlement of a lawsuit with former GA GOP Chair John Padgett. Current GA GOP leadership expended resources and time to ensure the records of the settlement would stay sealed...forever....that's forever, longer than the records of the assassination of JFK.

Why would they do that?

All of this begs the question - was the Georgia GOP infiltrated with those who say they are 'Republicans', but have no intention of following Republican values of freedom and the democratic process?

#1  Even Wikipedia admits his Communism:

Influenced by Marxism, he secretly joined the banned South African Communist Party (SACP). Although initially committed to non-violent protest, in association with the SACP he co-founded the militant uMkhonto we Sizwe in 1961 that led a sabotage campaign against the apartheid government. He was arrested and imprisoned in 1962, and, following the Rivonia Trial, was sentenced to life imprisonment for conspiring to overthrow the state.

…Economically, his administration retained its predecessor's liberal framework despite his own socialist beliefs

And he stuck by his wife, who was running around siccing her necklacing gang on anyone who caught her attention.

I think he would sit back at home and in a modest, Great Man manner, refuse to criticize the ANC government for this continuation of their core beliefs.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Fauci's COVID-Era Devices Were Just Found by FBI
[PJ] In a major breakthrough that could finally bring long-awaited answers to the American people, federal investigators have recovered Dr. Anthony Fauci’s COVID-era phones and electronic devices, which could include data crucial in determining whether the former architect of the federal pandemic response lied to the public and to Congress.

FBI Director Kash Patel, working alongside congressional investigators on the origins of COVID-19, revealed the bombshell during his appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience."

"I mean, we just had a great breakthrough this week on Fauci," Patel announced. "Senator Rand Paul, Senator Kennedy—and I hate naming names ’cause I always forget people—are doing a great job with us on COVID origins. And we’ve got multiple investigations open on that."

According to Patel, the devices were believed to be long lost—if they were even preserved at all. That changed this week.

"They had always been looking for Fauci’s original phone—or not original, but phones and devices he used while he was Fauci back in Trump Land during COVID," Patel explained. "And nobody had found them—till two days ago."

AR pistol brace decision by U.S. District Judge in Texas
Dateline June 22, 2024. But this is a news you can use piece that is useful even after the new Trump ATF have up the Biden-Harris Politburo nonsense, should a pistol brace be on your list.
[FE] On June 13, 2024, Texas-based U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor overruled the ATF’s 2023 ban on stabilizing braces. While the decision will likely be appealed by Biden’s DOJ, right now it means millions of Americans who legally purchased and happily own pistol-length AR-15s equipped with braces need not worry of being arrested.

Brace owners couldn’t help but feel as though they’d been baited into a trap, when for the last dozen years the ATF said braces were ok, only to announce its Final Rule without the consent of the nation’s law-making branch, i.e., Congress. The Final Rule dictated that braces were banned from future purchase and also that any brace-equipped guns not relinquished to the government or registered by way of a $200 NFA (National Firearms Act) tax stamp would instantly turn their owners into felons who would likely face jail time and forfeiture of their 2nd Amendment rights.

O’Connor basically said, "Nice try boys, but nope."

My hope is that even before the ATF’s bureaucratic, brainless, dickless, anti-gun leadership is replaced with politically neutral officers who actually know a damn thing about guns, perhaps its terminology for whatever law it whimsically foists on the American public as if it were Congress be changed from "Final Rule" to "Overreaching Suggestion."

At any rate, here’s a link to Aero Precision where you can build your own AR pistol with a stabilizing brace. Buy at least a couple while you still can.

Economy
L'Oreal sees Middle East and Southeast Asia as next growth engines as China slows: ‘Eventually demographics have to win'
[Fortune] For more than a decade, China’s aspirational shoppers, spurred by a fast-growing economy and rising wages, snapped up products from cosmetics giants like L’Oreal, Estee Lauder, and Shiseido. Before the COVID pandemic hit, China appeared set to overtake the U.S. as the world’s largest makeup market.

Those boom times are over, as more Chinese consumers now turn to up-and-coming local brands, like Mao Geping and Florasis.

L’Oreal’s sales in Mainland China dropped last year, shrinking its overall North Asia sales by around 3%. The Chinese market, the bulk of the firm’s North Asia revenue, now accounts for 17% of group sales, down from 23% in 2022. The French firm continues to call China an important market, but has reportedly started cutting its retail workforce due to slower Chinese demand.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Hamas could be rewarded with Palestinian state, thanks to the October 7 massacre
[American Thinker] Due to the bloody and cruel attacks of Hamas on the unsuspecting Israelis on October 7, 2003, the terrorists believe they will be rewarded with their own state. How is that possible?

In December 2024, the U.N. took action to re-visit the two-state "solution" between Israel and Hamas, the precursor to an upcoming international conference set to kick-off in New York in less than two weeks:

An international conference meant to resurrect the idea of a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict will take place from June 17 to 20 at the United Nations headquarters in New York, a UN spokeswoman said Friday.

The conference stems from a resolution approved in December by the UN General Assembly, and it will be co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia. A diplomat in Paris close to preparations for the conference said it should pave the way for more countries to recognize a full-blown Palestinian state.

These plans to move toward a two-state solution are gaining steam, because the progressive international community believes the Arabs in Gaza have earned the right to their own Palestinian state. France and the U.K. have even begun to talk about the two-state outcome:

Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, David Lammy, confirmed last week that the UK is in talks with France to recognize a Palestinian state. Palestinian thought leaders, publications, and speakers throughout the Arab world see this as a reward for the horrific massacre of October 7, 2023, and an inducement to increase rather than decrease the level of violence and terrorism.

At this time, almost 150 countries have recognized the Palestinian Authority as governing a Palestinian state. And in May of last year, Norway, Ireland, and Spain took steps to recognize a Palestinian state.

American tourist, 41, died after drinking psychedelic tea at spiritual retreat in Peru
[NYP] An American tourist died after drinking a psychedelic tea that caused a "breakdown" of several organs while he was on a spiritual retreat in the Peruvian Amazon, according to reports.

Aaron Wayne Castranova, 41, died Monday after ingesting ayahuasca — a potent hallucinogenic plant brew banned in the US — during a shamanic ritual at La Casa de Guillermo ICONA, a hostel known for its "spiritual tourism" in Loreto.

The hypnotic elixir triggered a multi-organ "breakdown" that caused the Alabama man’s lethal spiral, according to Narciso Lopez, the regional prosecutor’s forensic pathologist, the Daily Mail reported.

#3  In his Netflix series, Ancient Apocalypse, author Graham Hancock touts the use of ayahuasca and even admits using it himself with a Peruvian shaman. It's been used by the indigenous people down there for centuries. It'd be no surprise if there are unpleasant and unknown side effects but, like Anguper, I have to wonder if there might have been another cause for the man's demise. Still, if you're just visiting for a week or so in a Third World country where you have absolutely no local knowledge, it's probably not wise to be fooling around with such things.

Science & Technology
Under The Guise Of ‘Preventative Medicine' For IVF, Eugenics Is Back
[The Federalist] Most people are familiar with eugenics as a disturbing and morally repugnant artifact from the past, something we associate with Nazi experiments and racial pseudo-science. But it’s making a comeback in our time thanks to new branding and new technology. Call it neo-eugenics, coming soon to an IVF clinic near you.

The old eugenics was of course the study and practice of shaping a population through selective breeding based on heritable traits deemed desirable, and the sterilization or prohibition on reproduction for those deemed undesirable. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, eugenics produced a nasty set of policies, both in the United States and Europe. These policies were eventually discredited and discarded in part because Nazi Germany was big on eugenics. It was official Nazi policy, for example, to identify various groups of German citizens deemed "unfit" and then systematically kill them with poison gas — a practice that turned out to be a precursor to the Holocaust.

But now eugenics is making a comeback thanks to Peter Thiel-inspired libertarian tech-bros who have, no kidding, rebranded it "preventative medicine." This week, a company called Nucleus Genomics, a genetics testing startup founded by a 25-year-old named Kian Sadeghi, unveiled a new product called Nucleus Embryo that allows parents to screen embryos created through IVF by projected IQ, height, eye color, and hundreds of other traits before deciding which to implant and which to discard.

The company is marketing this new product, which costs $5,999, as "preventative medicine," a hi-tech health tool that delivers what the company calls "polygenic risk scores," meant to predict the likelihood of things like Alzheimer’s, heart disease and various cancers — among many other things, including IQ, height, and hundreds of other traits.

But calling it "preventative medicine" is just a bit of lazy legerdemain. It doesn’t change the fact that Nucleus Embryo is nothing more than a hi-tech form of eugenics — screening the unborn for "desirable" traits like IQ and snuffing out those deemed undesirable or unfit. Much like the Nazis would have done if they’d had such technology. As Michael Knowles noted on X, "To be clear, this technology does not help you extend your baby’s life; it provides information — and dubious information, at that — to help you kill your weakest children."

As long as the other Male Brain is doing the thinking, any female will do.
Eugenics will have a losing battle with the general population.

With that fact stated.

Wouldn't the Globalists Elites want a large < 80 IQ population to maintain control while engaging in a form of selective breeding themselves for superior genes and control issues?

Side Note: History has shown selective breeding has failed Royalty a number of times also.

Love of a Nation - Our leadership classes' lack of love for their own people is dissolving our societies
[NS Lyons] Biotech billionaire Vivek Ramaswamy stirred up a political firestorm not long ago when, in attempting to defend the importation of foreign workers through the H-1B visa program, he criticized America’s native culture as one of "mediocrity" and "normalcy." Calling for "more math tutoring" and "fewer sleepovers" for America’s youth in order to render them employable, he declared on X that "’Normalcy’ doesn’t cut it in a hyper-competitive global market for technical talent." Jumping into the ensuing debate, Elon Musk offered an alternative analogy, portraying America as a global sports franchise that ought to contract the best players no matter their origin. "Thinking of America as a pro sports team that has been winning for a long time and wants to keep winning is the right mental construct" for Americans to hold, he wrote.

Unsurprisingly, neither proposed mental construct landed very well with President Trump’s populist-nationalist base and Ramaswamy was soon duly shuffled off to a term of exile in Ohio. In the one view, "America" is merely a glorified economic zone, just one part of a "competitive global market" in which labor and capital flow freely. In the other, America is a professional franchise whose sole objective is to maximize winnings. In both cases America is viewed as analogous to a corporation. In such a corporation, management’s only responsibility is to profits; it has no inherent responsibility to employees or their wellbeing, something of interest only insofar as it translates into productivity.

The corporate machine views employees merely as interchangeable human resources, to whom it owes no loyalty. Indeed, if it is to effectively devote itself to profit maximization the company can afford no permanent relational bonds with any of those who work for it, as it must be able to fire or replace them based on cold utilitarian calculus. There are thus few experiences employees find as irritating as that common workplace psyop in which management proclaims the corporate office to be a "family." Employees know implicitly that it is natural affections and iron-clad mutual loyalties, or at least strong relational bonds, that are precisely what distinguish a family. Their corporate employer, in contrast, won’t hesitate to dump them by the wayside the moment they fall into the wrong column of a spreadsheet. For their part, employees are liable to return the sentiment and retain no lasting loyalty to the company — though perhaps plenty of resentment.

What angered people about the two CEOs’ comments was that — like so many of today’s elites — they displayed no sense of loyalty or obligation to Americans as a nation. A nation is not a corporation. A nation is a particular people, with a distinct culture, permanently bound together by shared relationship with place, past, and each other. A house becomes a home through relationship with the family that lives in it, a connection forged out of time and memory between concrete particularity of place and the lives of a specific group of people present, past, and yet unborn. We can say this house is home because it is our home. In much the same way, a country becomes our homeland because it is ours — and the we of that "ours" is the nation, which transcends geography, government, and GDP.

#2  Biotech billionaire Vivek Ramaswamy stirred up a political firestorm not long ago when, in attempting to defend the importation of foreign workers through the H-1B visa program, he criticized America’s native culture as one of "mediocrity" and "normalcy."

Since the 1980s they've played this game. Making page length 'experience' requirement in want ads that no one can fill. Then using the excuse it can not find a candidate, get a H-1B. They destroyed the incentive to get the skills. Don't forget Disney replaced American workers already doing the tech job with H-1Bs.

[FoxNews] Landmark celebration honoring Army to include aircraft flyovers, fireworks that will impact flight operations

President Donald Trump will be hosting a military parade next Saturday honoring military veterans and active-duty service members to commemorate the U.S. Army’s birthday.

The parade is scheduled for June 14, the 250th birthday of the United States Army, Flag Day, and Trump’s birthday.

Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) announced the airport is expected to halt flights during the parade.

"To accommodate aircraft flyovers along the parade route, followed by a fireworks display, the Federal Aviation Administration is expected to suspend airline operations at DCA – affecting scheduled flights," reads an airport press release.

The airport cautions that "customers with flight reservations for the evening of June 14 should check the status of their flights directly with their airline."

Israeli drone attack kills four Palestinians in al-Mawasi
[GEO.TV] At least four Palestinians have been killed and others injured in an Israeli drone attack on a tent in al-Mawasi in the south of the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported, citing medical sources in the occupied territory.

Al-Mawasi has been designated as a so-called %u201Csafe zone%u201D by the Israeli forces, but it has been routinely targeted throughout the war on Gaza.

4 IDF soldiers killed, 5 wounded after booby-trapped south Gaza building collapses
[IsraelTimes] Gaza aid group says it closed aid distribution sites early due to ‘unsafe crowding’; Hamas health authorities say 38 killed by airstrikes on eve of Muslim holiday

Four Israeli soldiers were killed and five were maimed by a kaboom in a building in southern Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
’s Khan Younis on Friday morning, the military said, amid an ongoing offensive against the Hamas
..always the voice of sweet reason...
terror group.

Two of the slain soldiers are named as: Sgt. Maj. (res.) Chen Gross, 33, of the Maglan commando unit, from Gan Yoshiya, and Staff Sgt. Yoav Raver, 19, of the Yahalom combat engineering unit, from Sde Warburg.

The names of the other two soldiers would be released later, the military said.

According to an initial IDF probe, the soldiers entered the building to clear it of possible terror infrastructure, including tunnels. The building was booby-trapped and the earth-shattering kaboom caused the structure to collapse on the soldiers, killing the soldiers and wounding the others, including one seriously. The incident took place shortly after 6 a.m. in the Khan Younis suburb of Bani Suheila.

In a separate incident, a reservist with the 646th Paratroopers Brigade was moderately maimed by a mortar impact in Gaza City’s Shejaiya neighborhood, the army said. He was taken to a hospital where his condition has since improved.

After the deaths of four soldiers, IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin said sometimes there’s "no choice" but to enter structures in the Strip to investigate them for possible tunnels..

In addition, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir sat down with Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor to assess the ongoing fighting in Gaza and approve "operational plans... for the continuation of the campaign in the Gaza Strip," the IDF said.

The deaths of the four soldiers on Friday brought Israel’s toll in the ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza and in military operations along the border with the Strip to 429.

CHAOTIC AID
Dwindling support at home has also been compounded by increasing international pressure on Israel, including from its allies, angry over the increasingly dire humanitarian situation in the Strip.

In an effort to alleviate the pressure, Israel has recently backed alternative efforts to supply aid to the Strip and bypass the Hamas terror group, which it accuses of seizing control of international aid.

But the Israeli-backed efforts to supply aid to the strip continued to be chaotic, with the organization in charge issuing several, sometimes contradictory statements as to the state of ongoing operations that have been beset by violent mostly peaceful incidents.
It’s a roll-out — they’re still debugging the process. And quite rapidly, especially for a new organization with rapid turnover at the top. Also: know yourselves thoroughly conquered, guys, and surrender accordingly. And pass the word to your former Hamas overlords — they appear to have trouble grasping their situation.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation said it was forced to close its sites early Friday due to "excessive crowding that made it unsafe to proceed." However,
nothing needs reforming like other people's bad habits...
it stressed in a statement that "at no point did violence occur."

The announcement comes several hours after a similar post was made on its Arabic Facebook page, which is used to communicate directly with Gazooks.

The Arabic post said GHF had closed its two Rafah sites because large crowds — particularly before the sites even opened — had hindered distribution. The post also urged Gazooks to wait until GHF sends notifications out before heading to distribution sites.

Many have reported making the trek of dozens of kilometers only for them to arrive after boxes of food have run out. The limited food was also likely a contributing factor for overcrowding, with hunger still plaguing much of the Strip after a 78-day Israeli blockade through most of March, April and May.
No doubt if they released the supplies in the Hamas warehouses, the problem would evaporate, but Hamas — and the UN-linked NGOs — need the heartrending headlines in order to keep pressure on Israel.
GHF says it has distributed roughly 25,000 boxes of food since it began operations late last month, but families with men and boys strong enough to make the trek, wait in line and lug large boxes back to their homes have a major advantage over others.

GFH said it distributed 8,160 boxes of food at the two Rafah sites before it closed them. It says each box has enough food inside to feed 5.5 people for 3.5 days. Since it launched operations on May 26, GFH said it has distributed nearly 9 million meals.

While GHF has been operating three distribution sites, only one or two have been open on most days since the May 26 rollout, and no timeline has been provided for when a site in northern Gaza will be opened.

The small number of distribution sites aimed at serving a population of roughly two million has been a major point of criticism from the UN and other international organizations, who have argued that Palestinians in need should not be forced to walk long distances through war zones in order to pick up food.
No matter how perfect, they would find something to complain about — the real complaint is that they can’t continue to skim off the top to feed their own pockets as they used to.

The dangerous conditions were highlighted earlier this week when the IDF admitted to opening fire toward Palestinians who it said had strayed from the pre-approved road they’re supposed to use to reach aid sites.

Dozens were killed and hundreds were injured in three incidents, according to Hamas health authorities and the Red Cross.
Any relationship beteen their numbers and the truth is strictly accidental…
The IDF insisted that those figures were exaggerated and described its fire as warning shots.

In an effort to lessen the chaos and violence, the IDF on Friday issued fresh instructions to Gazans on how to access the aid sites, saying that movement toward the humanitarian aid distribution sites is only permitted during daylight, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Outside the daylight hours, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., “the area is considered a closed military zone,” said Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman.

“Entering it poses a great danger to your lives. It is strictly prohibited to enter the distribution centers and the area near them” during the night, he said, also urging Palestinians to listen to instructions from GHF.

STRIKES IN NORTHERN GAZA, KHAN YOUNIS
Meanwhile,
...back at the buffalo wallow, Yellow Wolf clutched at his chest and fell from his horse...
Israel continued its ground offensive and Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s.

Israeli airstrikes killed 38 Paleostinians Friday, according to Hamas
..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
-run health authorities, who cited bombing in Gazoo’s Jabalia, Tuffah and Khan Younis areas. Israel has said it seeks to minimize civilian fatalities and stresses that Hamas uses Gaza’s civilians as human shields, fighting from civilian areas, including homes, hospitals, schools and mosques.

The IDF had no immediate comment on the Friday reports. Witnesses and medics told Rooters that Israeli planes and tanks had intensified strikes on Jabalia and nearby Beit Hanoun — in northern Gaza — since the early hours of Friday.

Israel on March 18 resumed its attacks against Hamas with a wave of airstrikes, ending a two-month ceasefire. The IDF has since deployed tens of thousands of troops into the Strip and has been carrying out a wide-scale ground offensive aimed at defeating Hamas’s military wing and ending its civil rule in Gaza.

MARKING EID AL-ADHA UNDER FIRE
Amid the unrelenting airstrikes and confusion surrounding aid distribution, many Gazooks found themselves struggling to celebrate the title='Muslim'>Moslem holiday of Eid al-Adha
...a major Moslem holiday, marked by animal sacrifice and ritual rioting...
, which began Friday. To mark Eid al-Adha — Arabic for the Festival of Sacrifice — Moslems traditionally slaughter a sheep or cow and give away part of the meat to the poor as an act of charity. It is also customary to hold large family feasts and give children gifts of new clothing during the holiday. But no fresh meat has entered Gaza for three months, and nearly all the territory’s homegrown sheep, cattle and goats are dead.
War is Hell. Blame Hamas for deliberately creating this one, just like they did the last four since Ariel Sharon pulled out of Gaza in 2005.
Some of the little livestock that remained were on sale at a makeshift pen set up in the vast tent camp of al-Mawasi on the southern Gaza coast, but no one could afford to buy.

At a street market in the nearby city of Khan Younis, some stalls have stuffed sheep toys and other holiday knick-knacks and old clothes.

Meanwhile, the Defense Ministry’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) announced Wednesday that 88 humanitarian aid trucks carrying flour and food entered the Gaza Strip throughout the day.

US-backed Gaza aid group shuts distribution sites after deadly shootings
[GEO.TV] The US backed-Gaza Humanitarian Foundation said on Friday that all its aid distribution sites in the enclave were closed and a reopening date would be announced later, urging residents to stay away from these sites "for their safety".

Work at the sites was halted in response to a series of deadly shootings close to the operations.

The group, which has been fiercely criticised by humanitarian organisations, including the United Nations, began distributing aid last week.

Lebanese Army warns Israeli airstrikes may force it to freeze cooperation with ceasefire committee — Naharnet
That won’t protect Hezbollah’s secret, underground drone and other weapons factories from the IDF, but if you feel you must walk away from the hudna…
[NAHARNET] The Lebanese Army condemned Friday Israel's Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...

The army statement came hours after the Israeli military struck several buildings in Beirut's southern suburbs that it claimed held underground facilities used by Hezbollah for drone production. The strikes, preceded by an Israeli warning to evacuate several buildings, came on the eve of Eid al-Adha

The Lebanese Army said it started coordinating with the committee observing the ceasefire after Israel's military issued its warning and sent patrols to the areas that were to be struck to search them. It added that Israel rejected the suggestion.
If you aren’t on Hezbollah’s Need To Know list, is it likely they’d let you into check? The IDF also is not on the Hezbollah list, but being the IDF they knew anyway…
The U.S.-led committee that has been supervising the ceasefire that ended the 14-month Israel-Hezbollah war in November is made up of Lebanon, Israel, La Belle France, the U.S. and the U.N. peacekeeping forces in Lebanon known as UNIFIL.

"The Israeli enemy violations of the deal and its refusal to respond to the committee is weakening the role of the committee and the army," the Lebanese Army said in its statement. It added such attacks by Israel could lead the army to freeze its cooperation with the committee "when it comes to searching posts."

Since the Israel-Hezbollah war ended, Israel has carried out nearly daily airstrikes on parts of Lebanon targeting Hezbollah operatives. Beirut's southern suburbs were struck on several occasions since then.

Pak govt declares Baloch terror groups, organizations as ‘Fitna al Hindustan’
See here for an example.
[PakExpressTribune] The new designation reflects “true nature and ideology” and “nefarious designs” backed by India, said notification

In a significant development, the federal government has officially designated all terrorist groups operating in Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
as ’Fitna al Hindustan’, accusing India of sponsoring a proxy war through these outfits.
Like the Baloch Liberation Army, I imagine.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior on Saturday, the move stems from "the involvement of some organizations and groups in terrorist activities in Balochistan, which are detrimental to Islamic faith, the illusory sovereignty of Pakistain, and its customary traditions."

The notification further stated that the new designation is intended to reflect "the true nature and ideology" of these groups and their "nefarious designs" sponsored by India.

"All government entities are directed to start the above practice immediately," the notification said, underscoring a concerted effort to reframe the narrative around bad boy violence in the province.

The announcement came as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accused India of escalating indirect aggression after what he described as its defeat in a recent security operation dubbed "Marka-e-Haq".

Accusing India of intensifying a proxy terrorism campaign in Pakistain, particularly in Balochistan, he said, "India, after suffering strategic setbacks, has resorted to indirect aggression". "But Pakistain will thwart all such nefarious designs and stand resolute against Fitna al Hindustan and its proxies."

A day earlier, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir had also addressed the ongoing unrest in Balochistan, stating that bad boy groups there were not indigenous but rather acting on behalf of foreign interests.

"These faceless myrmidons are not Baloch. They are agents of disruption sponsored by India," the army chief said, reiterating the armed forces’ stance that separatist violence in the province is externally instigated.

The government’s decision to adopt a new label for Balochistan-based bandidos bad boys mirrors a similar move last year, when the Tehrik-e-Taliban
...Arabic for students...
Pakistain (TTP) was officially designated "Fitna al-Khawarij".

At that time, the Ministry of Interior said the term "Khariji" was chosen to expose what it described as the TTP’s misrepresentation of Islam.

BBC says its journalists detained and strip-searched by Israeli forces in Syria
It’s a war zone, guys. What did you expect?
[IsraelTimes] Feras Kilani says his team was held for hours at gunpoint, interrogated, and subjected to threats after filming near IDF positions in the UN buffer zone
You view yourselves as the enemy of Israel and the friend of Israel’s enemies — surely it would be wise for Israel to return the favour.
Israeli soldiers detained BBC Arabic special correspondent Feras Kilani
… Palestinian-British journalist and film maker and a BBC Arabic's special correspondent specializing in MidEast war zones like Libya, Iraq, and Syria…
— a British citizen — and six of his colleagues in southern Syria on May 9, and allegedly subjected the group to searches, interrogation, and threats after they filmed near Israeli positions in a United Nations
...an organization which on balance has done more bad than good, with the good not done well and the bad done thoroughly...
-patrolled buffer zone near the town of Quneitra, the network alleged Thursday.
How many of those six are related to one or another of the local or regional jihadi groups? We see it all the time in Gaza — so many journalists are double dipping, and in fact for many Hamas is the primary paycheck and the news organization is secondary. For that matter, Mr. Paleo-Brit BBC Kilani, what are your connections?
The team had been reporting from areas close to the Golan Heights to document the Israeli military’s recent operations inside Syrian territory.

The IDF has been deployed to nine posts inside southern Syria since the fall of the Assad regime in December, mostly within a UN-patrolled buffer zone on the border between the countries. Troops have been operating in areas up to around 15 kilometers deep into Syria, aiming to capture weapons that Israel says could pose a threat to the country if they fall into the hands of "hostile forces."

The BBC crew, which included two Iraqi staff members and four Syrians, among them freelancers and a cameraman, was reportedly filming near a UN Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) post when a UN official informed them that Israeli forces had asked about their identities and were told that they were affiliated with the BBC.

As the journalists continued toward Quneitra, Kilani said they encountered an unguarded checkpoint approximately 200 meters (660 feet) from the city. There, they saw Merkava tanks, one with an Israeli flag, and Israeli soldiers observing them from a nearby tower.

In response, Kilani said, he held up his BBC ID badge in clear view, but shortly afterward, a white vehicle approached and four Israeli soldiers emerged with rifles drawn.

"They pointed their rifles at our heads and ordered us to place the camera on the side of the road," Kilani wrote in his firsthand account. He managed to send a brief message to colleagues in London before the group’s phones were confiscated and their car was searched.

The group was then escorted into the city of Quneitra and stopped at the crossing point separating it from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. There, Kilani said, Israeli forces reviewed the footage from their cameras while "one pointed his rifle at my head from meters away."

After two hours, Kilani was asked to step out of the car and speak to an unidentified man in broken Arabic via mobile phone, he said.

"He asked why we were filming Israeli military positions," Kilani recounted. "I told him I was a British BBC journalist and explained to him the nature of our work."

Shortly afterward, the team was moved into a building once used by the Syrian army. Kilani said he was separated and told by a senior officer, who spoke fluent Paleostinian Arabic, that he would not be handcuffed or blindfolded, "unlike the rest of your team."

Kilani said he was then forced to strip to his underwear for a search.

"He inspected even inside my underwear, both front and back, searched my clothes, then told me to put them back on and started interrogating me, including personal questions about my children and their ages."

Kilani said the experience took an emotional toll as he later saw his colleagues "tied up and blindfolded," and being taken one by one for similar searches and questioning.

"I pleaded to the officer to release them, and he promised to do so after the interrogations," he wrote.

Over the next several hours, their phones and laptops were combed through, personal photos were deleted, and the journalists were threatened, Kilani alleged.

"The officer threatened us with worse consequences if we approached the frontier from the Syrian side again, and said that they know everything about us and would track us down if any hidden or un-deleted photo was ever published," he reported.

The group was eventually released at around 9 p.m. They were escorted by Israeli vehicles to a rural road outside Quneitra, where their phones were tossed toward them.

"Lost in the dark with no signal, no internet and no idea where we were, we kept driving until we reached a small village," Kilani wrote.

With help from locals, they found the highway and returned to Damascus about 45 minutes later.

The BBC has filed an official complaint with the Israeli military but has yet to receive a response. The IDF did not immediately comment on the incident.
Next time get permission from IDF HQ in Jerusalem first, then check in with the local outpost as soon as you arrive — it is unwise to startle armed soldiers in war zone.

Terrorists Use Phone Of Abducted Chinese National In Kwara To Demand Ransom
[X]

Terrorists who kidnapped a Chinese expatriate and a Nigerian worker during a bushwhack on a mining site in Kwara State have demanded a ransom of ₦1billion for their release.

This was revealed by a security source in an update posted on Friday.

"Kidnappers who kidnapped a Chinese expatriate, Mr. Sam Xie Wie, and his Nigerian counterpart, Mr. David Adenaiye, in Kwara State have demanded a ransom of ₦1billion for their release, according to fresh intelligence obtained on Friday," the source, Zagazola Makama said.

It was gathered that the abductors used the victims’ mobile phones to contact an associate named Mr. Leo Liang making the ransom demand.

"The two men were kidnapped during an attack on a mining site on Wednesday, which also resulted in the death of two personnel of the Police Mobile Force assigned to protect the victims.

"Efforts are ongoing by security operatives and local vigilante groups to recover the kidnapped victims unharmed."

SaharaReporters had earlier reported that the abduction occurred around 6:30pm on June 4, 2025, at a mining site in Oreke-Oke-Igbo, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The button men also killed two coppers during the attack.

Confirming the incident, the Kwara State Police Command had issued a statement, saying: "The Kwara State Police Command confirms a deadly attack and abduction incident that occurred on June 4, 2025, at about 1830hrs. This heinous act was done at a mining site located in Oreke-Okeigbo in the Ifelodun local government area of the state."

"Information received from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Oreke indicates that a group of unidentified armed assailants invaded the said mining facility, where they tragically shot and killed two operatives of the Nigeria Police Force — ASP Haruna Watsai and Inspector Tukur Ogah, both attached to 45 PMF, Abuja, who were on official protective assignment at the location.

"The attackers also carted away the rifles of the dear departed officers.

"In addition to the heinous killings, the assailants kidnapped two individuals: Mr. Sam Xie Wie, a Chinese national, and Mr. David Adenaiye, a native from Kogi State who was working at the mining site at the time of the incident."

Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, Adekimi Ojo, also condemned the incident in strong terms.

"The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, Adekimi Ojo, strongly condemns this act of brutality and assures the public that the Command has since swung into decisive action," the statement read.

"Tactical and intelligence-driven efforts are currently underway to ensure the swift rescue of the kidnapped victims and the apprehension of those responsible for this cowardly attack."

"The Command is working in close synergy with other security agencies and community stakeholders to strengthen its presence in the area and prevent a recurrence of such incidents," the police statement added.

[IsraelTimes] Rabbi Elie Lemmel says this is the second time he has been attacked in a week amid surge of post-Oct. 7 antisemitic violence

A Paleostinian man was taken into custody after he threw a chair at a rabbi on a cafe terrace in a wealthy Gay Paree suburb, a police source told AFP, in an attack La Belle France’s main Jewish association condemned as antisemitic.

According to the source, the suspect attacked Rabbi Elie Lemmel in the western Gay Paree suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine. Lemmel was taken to hospital with a head injury.

The assailant was arrested and is in detention.

The attacker is a Paleostinian man residing illegally in Germany, said a source close to the case, adding that the man benefits from a status that offers a form of protection for people who cannot be deported to a conflict zone.
So a Palestinian, happily situated on the government dime in Germany, decides to go on a little Paris vacay just so he can beat up a French Jew? I’m sorry, but German Jews are just as good for beating up, though there aren’t nearly as many of them as France’s 440,000 (formerly 500,000, but some have thrown up their hands and emigrated).
An investigation has been launched into aggravated assault, prosecutors said.

The rabbi was talking to a person he had arranged to meet when he was attacked, receiving "a huge blow to the head."

"I fell to the ground and heard people shouting ’stop him’, and I realized that I had just been attacked," he told broadcaster BFMTV.

The rabbi said he had been attacked twice in the space of a week. Last Friday he was attacked in the northwestern town of Deauville when three drunk individuals hit him in the stomach.

"I am very afraid that we are living in a world where words are generating more and more evil," he said.

In 2024, a total of 1,570 antisemitic acts were recorded in La Belle France, according to the interior ministry.

Palestinian under psychiatric evaluation after hitting rabbi in France
[IsraelTimes] A Palestinian man arrested earlier today for throwing a chair at a rabbi in a Paris suburban cafe has been sent to hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, French authorities say.

The reason for the attack was unknown, but France’s main Jewish association condemned it as an antisemitic assault, and French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou blamed a “radicalization of public debate” against the backdrop of the ongoing war in Gaza.

The rabbi, Elie Lemmel, suffered a gash to his head from the chair that hit him as he was speaking with a companion in the cafe in the wealthy western Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine.

The local prosecutors’ office says that it opened a criminal investigation for assault, possibly aggravated by religious motives.

It says the Palestinian, an irregular migrant living with temporary papers in Germany, was thought to be 28 years old and born in the Gaza city of Rafah.
Ah. Well then, is he Hamas or PIJ? Or maybe Fatah, but very quiet about it until he got out.
It adds that “he is undergoing a psychiatric examination requiring his forced hospitalization.”
Still more from the Times of Israel
Elie Lemmel says he was sitting at a cafe in the Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine earlier today when he was hit in the head by a chair.

“I found myself on the ground, I immediately felt blood flowing,” he says.

He was stunned and unsure what exactly had happened, he says, initially thinking something must have fallen from a window or roof, before it occurred to him he had been attacked.

“Unfortunately, given my beard and my kippah, I suspected that was probably why, and it’s such a shame,” he says.

Today’s incident follows another in the town of Deauville in Normandy last week, when Lemmel said he was punched in the stomach by an unknown assailant.

Lemmel says he was used to “not-so-friendly looks, some unpleasant words, people passing by, spitting on the ground,” but had never been physically assaulted before the two attacks.

The prosecutor’s office in Nanterre said it had opened an investigation into the Neuilly attack for aggravated violence and that a person was being held for questioning. It said it could not provide further details.

Merz: 'We have imported antisemitism with big numbers of migrants'
How very clever of him to notice. Now that he has, what does he intend to do about it?
[DW] Chancellor Friedrich Merz has told US media that migration is a factor behind the rise in antisemitism in Germany.

In an interview with Fox News, Merz was asked what he was doing to combat antisemitism in Germany and he said: "This is, especially for Germany, a terrible challenge that we are faced with such an amount of cases of antisemitism in Germany."

"We are doing everything we can to bring these numbers down," Merz continued. "We are prosecuting those who are against the law. And frankly, we have a sort of imported antisemitism with the big numbers of migrants we have within the last 10 years, and we have to tackle this and we have to resolve this problem."

"I would like to make it very clear, that the German government, and the vast majority of the German parliament, is strictly against antisemitism and against these people and we are doing everything we can to bring these numbers down."

Merz's comments come on the back of data which earlier this week showed the rising numbers in antisemitic incidents in Germany.

In 2024, 8,627 antisemitic incidents occurred — 77% more than in 2023.

The data published by the Federal Association of Departments for Research and Information on Antisemitism (RIAS) showed that of the cases documented, 5,857 were classified as "antisemitism related to Israel."

A total of 544 cases were attributed to right-wing extremist views.

Over 40 Al-Shabaab Leaders and Militants killed in Targeted Operation – NISA
[ShabelleMedia] In a meticulously planned joint operation, the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), the Somali National Army (SNA), and international partners successfully targeted and eliminated over 40 al-Shabaab
... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
operatives in the Ceelhareeri area of Hiiraan region.

The operation, executed with precision, focused on a location where al-Shabaab snuffies were concealed. In addition to neutralizing the bully boys, the operation destroyed vehicles utilized by the group.

Among those confirmed killed are Abuu Anas, identified as the head of al-Shabaab’s logistics for combat units, and Mohammed Ahmed (Xerow), a senior field commander within the group. Notably, Nuur Cabdi Rooble (Nuunuule), responsible for al-Shabaab operations across Hiiraan, Middle Shabelle, Mudug, and Galgaduud regions, and Commander Jeylaani, a top leader overseeing bully boy fronts, sustained critical injuries during the operation.

These individuals were believed to be the criminal masterminds behind recent suicide kabooms orchestrated by al-Shabaab in the Hiiraan and Middle Shabelle regions. The success of this operation significantly disrupts their operational capabilities and undermines their plans against the Somali populace.

Battles near Konstantinovskaya – successes near the N-20 highway and north of Dzerzhinsk

In the second half of May, Russian assault units stepped up their attack in the Konstantinovsky direction. Fighting is taking place in several areas at once - from the railway junction near Dyleevka to the line of strong points along the N-20 highway. Russian troops, acting in small assault groups, continue to gradually break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces southwest and northeast of Dzerzhinsk.

More details about the chronology of battles in the area:

– On the approaches to Dyleevka, Russian fighters began advancing back in mid-May, storming enemy positions at the railway station of the same name. Under the cover of artillery, assault groups entered the buildings and secured positions near the railway.

– On May 18, it was possible to dislodge Ukrainian formations from several strongholds between Dyleevka and Druzhba. In the following days, units of the Russian Armed Forces expanded control along the railway and began clearing the eastern part of Dyleevka.

– At the same time, heavy assault work was underway along the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. After clearing the strongholds between Kurdyumovka and Ozaryanovka, the Russian Armed Forces fighters finally eliminated the "pocket" southwest of Druzhba.

– In Dzerzhinsk itself, fierce battles are taking place on the northwestern outskirts. Russian assault groups are trying to gain a foothold in the area of the Saint Matrona of Moscow mine. The enemy is transferring reserves and trying to hold back the advance.

– On the southwestern flank, military actions unfolded in the area of settlements located near the N-20 highway. On May 17, Alexandropol was liberated during the assault. Then the fighters broke into the northern part of Staraya Nikolaevka – fierce fighting in the development continued for about ten days.

– Under pressure from two directions – from Alexandropol from the west and Romanovka from the east – the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense in the Zarya area was broken through at the end of May. As a result of coordinated actions, Romanovka, Staraya Nikolaevka and Gnatovka were liberated.

– The battles for Zarya, divided into two parts by the river, lasted for several days. In early June, the settlement was completely cleared.

- Further advance of assault units north of Zarya in the direction of the Kleban-Byk reservoir opens up the possibility of bypassing the fortified positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Shcherbinovka and Petrovka from the southwest. A breakthrough of the Ukrainian Armed Forces defense on the Dyleevka-Dzerzhinsk line will allow Russian troops to prepare a bridgehead southeast of Konstantinovka before the upcoming assault on the city.

Europe
The flames in Paris are not just physical. They are the burning embers of decades of self-delusion.
[Jpost] The flames in Paris are not just physical. They are the burning embers of decades of self-delusion.

Another night, another fire. Paris – once the city of light, love, and liberal pretensions – found itself engulfed again in the dark flames of violence. The occasion? Not some tragic provocation or political upheaval, but victory – a national triumph in the form of Paris Saint-Germain’s long-sought Champions League win.

A moment that ought to have united the nation, that ought to have been met with pride and patriotic celebration, instead saw the streets of the French capital descend into chaos.

Two dead, nearly 200 injured, and over 500 arrests as hundreds of vehicles and shops were vandalized or torched. This is what celebration now looks like in Western Europe’s major cities. This is what civic pride has become: a pretext for carnage, a football trophy transformed into a funeral procession for the remnants of order.

We know the pattern by now. The predictable ritual: The media quickly reaches for its euphemisms: “unrest,” “youths,” and “tensions.” No identities offered. No ideologies examined. Just a vague fog of explanation, as though cars spontaneously combusted in joy, and riot police were provoked by the sheer exuberance of street dancing.

LONG WAR FROM WITHIN
But beneath the smoke lies a truth we dare not name: This was not an accident of exuberance, nor the mischief of marginalized boys letting off steam. It was the latest outburst in a long war on Western civilization from within – waged not only with bricks and fire but with ideology. An ideology that sanctifies destruction, that frames grievance as virtue, and that labels any effort to restore order as “oppression.”

At the heart of this ideology is the unrelenting cult of jihadism – not just in its armed form, but in its cultural and psychological manifestations. The belief that violence is holy when directed at the West. That rage is righteous when wrapped in the banners of identity or injustice. That civilization must apologize before it can defend itself.

What was visible on the boulevards of Paris was not merely hooliganism. It was a theater of menace and a message, again and again: we do not love your country, we do not respect your traditions, and we will desecrate your symbols – even your victories – to remind you of your weakness.

The flames in Paris are not just physical. They are the burning embers of decades of self-delusion. Of leaders who refuse to admit that mass immigration without integration comes at a cost. Of intellectuals who insisted that all cultures are equal, even when some glorify martyrdom over mercy. Of a press that will bend over backwards to avoid saying what every citizen knows in their gut: that a portion of Europe’s imported population does not want to coexist but to conquer.

We are told to believe – to chant like catechisms – that Islam is peace, that jihad means struggle (as if all struggles are noble), and that the only problem lies in our own misunderstanding. We are instructed to believe this even when chants of “Allahu akbar” accompany the destruction of Jewish shops in Sarcelles or when synagogues require police protection every Shabbat in cities that once prided themselves on tolerance.

And so here we are again. A celebration turned siege. A football win drowned out by sirens. France will, no doubt, convene its usual roundtables. The interior minister will issue the perfunctory condemnations. President Emmanuel Macron may light a candle. And within a week, the names of the dead will fade – until the next “spontaneous” outburst rears its head.

But a deeper reckoning is needed. It is time to stop pretending that the threat is abstract and that extremism floats in the air like a virus. The ideology behind this violence is coherent, even if it is depraved. It is taught, shared, and incubated – in certain mosques, in certain online forums, and in homes where children are taught to hate the country that feeds them.

It is spread in lyrics, in sermons, and in whispers that Europe is weak, that the infidel will fall, and that the future belongs to those willing to burn for it. And it is enabled by our cowardice.

THE WEST'S MORAL CLARITY
The West is still home to immense strength, intelligence, and moral clarity – but it must choose to use it. It must stop apologizing for defending its own way of life. It must demand loyalty from its citizens and expel those who openly declare allegiance to enemies of the state. It must prioritize national security over ideological purity and begin to recognize that sometimes, peace comes only when evil is made to fear consequences again.

In the end, Paris is a mirror – not just for France, but for the whole of Europe – that reflects what happens when we swap vigilance for virtue signaling and borders for blind faith. It is a city that once resisted tyrants and revolutionaries, that gave the world the Enlightenment, and that stood tall against Nazi occupation.

Today, it battles a new threat: one that carries no uniform but plenty of flags, that uses smartphones instead of guns, and that wages jihad in the name of liberation while shackling the West with its own guilt.

The time for reckoning has come. If we do not confront this culture of destruction now, we will wake up one day to find there is no culture left to defend.

US Supreme Court allows DOGE broad access to Social Security data
[IsraelTimes] The US Supreme Court has permitted the Department of Government Efficiency, a key player in President Donald Trump’s drive to slash the federal workforce, broad access to personal information on millions of Americans in Social Security Administration data systems while a legal challenge plays out.

At the request of the Justice Department, the justices put on hold Maryland-based US District Judge Ellen Hollander’s order that had largely blocked DOGE’s access to “personally identifiable information” in data such as medical and financial records while litigation proceeds in a lower court. Hollander found that allowing DOGE unfettered access likely would violate a federal privacy law.

The court’s brief, unsigned order did not provide a rationale for siding with DOGE. The court has a 6-3 conservative majority. Its three liberal justices dissented from the order.

DOGE swept through federal agencies as part of the Republican president’s effort, spearheaded by billionaire Elon Musk, to eliminate federal jobs, downsize and reshape the US government and root out what they see as wasteful spending. Musk formally ended his government work on May 30.

Two labor unions and an advocacy group sued to stop DOGE from accessing sensitive data at the Social Security Administration, or SSA, including Social Security numbers for Americans, bank account data, tax information, earnings history and immigration records.

The agency is a major provider of government benefits, sending checks each month to more than 70 million recipients, including retirees and disabled Americans.

In their lawsuit, the plaintiffs argued that the Social Security Administration had been “ransacked” and that DOGE members had been installed without proper vetting or training and demanded access to some of the agency’s most sensitive data systems.

Iraq
Two PKK fighters killed in Kurdistan Region despite peace talks
[Rudaw] The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) announced on Thursday that two of its members were killed by the Ottoman Turkish army in the Kurdistan Region's mountainous areas last week despite the ongoing peace talks with Ankara. A US-based war monitor has reported a surge in Ottoman Turkish attacks against the Kurdish group in May.

"Guerrilla areas in the Media Defense Areas [mountainous areas on Iraq-Iran-The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
borders where PKK is believed to be headquartered] were heavily bombed with explosive-laden drones, howitzers and heavy weapons. At the same time, our tunnels were also bombed with explosives. The Ottoman Turkish army's attacks are mostly concentrated against guerrilla tunnels in the Metina and Martyr Delil Western Zap regions," said the People's Defense Forces (HPG), which is the PKK’s wing for mountain units, in a statement.

Metina and Zap, located in Duhok province, are among the hottest conflict zones in the ongoing PKK-Turkey festivities.

The attacks resulted in the deaths of two PKK fighters on May 27 and 30, the statement added, noting that they responded to the attacks "within the framework of legitimate defense against the ongoing attacks."

The PKK announced its dissolution and an end to its four-decade armed struggle on May 12, responding to a call from placed in durance vile

Despite progress on peace talks between the PKK and Ankara, which are believed to have unofficially started last year, both sides blame one another for slow progress.

It added that all attacks were carried out in Duhok province, mainly Amedi district.

In May, "at least 510 bombardments and attacks have been recorded in Iraqi Kurdistan, all within the Duhok province, with no strikes or attacks by the Ottoman Turkish Armed Forces recorded in other governorates. These include 458 artillery shellings, 36 Arclight airstrike

First plane lands at Mosul airport highlighting rebirth of former ISIS capital
[Rudaw] Mosul, the capital of Iraq’s northern Nineveh province and once the declared capital of the Islamic State’s (ISIS) so-called caliphate, marked a major milestone in reconstruction efforts on Thursday as an aircraft successfully completed the first test landing at Mosul International Airport in over a decade.

Nineveh Governor Abdulqadir al-Dakhil, who was on board the test flight, described the moment as “historic” and “long awaited by the people of the province.”

Speaking to the state-run Iraqi News Agency (INA), Dakhil underlined that “the preparations for the inauguration of Mosul International Airport have been complete.”

In comments to INA, Dakhil confirmed that “preparations for the inauguration of Mosul International Airport have been completed,” adding that the facility’s navigational systems have been fully modernized. “A cargo section has been added, and the runway has been extended and equipped with advanced night lighting systems,” he noted.

“The airport will officially open soon.”

Originally established in 1920, Mosul International Airport spans approximately 1,600 dunams. Its recent reconstruction began in August 2022, when then-Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi laid the cornerstone of the project.

The total cost of the rehabilitation project is estimated at 200 billion Iraqi dinars (approximately $142.8 million), with half of the funding drawn from previously frozen provincial funds dating back to the war with ISIS.

Speaking to Rudaw, Ahmed Dubardani, a member of the Nineveh Provincial Council, confirmed that following Thursday’s test flight, the airport will begin “experimental operations” on June 10.

“Once fully operational, the airport is expected to become a major international gateway and to handle up to 550,000 passengers annually,” according to Al-Dobardani.

Mosul fell to ISIS in June 2014 during the group’s rapid territorial expansion across Iraq and Syria. The city became the epicenter of ISIS’s self-declared caliphate, with the airport among the many critical infrastructures rendered inoperable.

During its occupation, ISIS enforced a brutal and extremist interpretation of Sharia law, committing widespread human rights abuses, targeting religious and ethnic minorities, and destroying historical and cultural landmarks.

A large-scale operation to retake Mosul was launched in October 2016, led by Iraqi forces with vital support from the US-led Global Coalition. Kurdish Peshmerga forces also played a crucial role in the battle, securing key eastern and northern fronts, clearing surrounding areas, and severing ISIS supply lines into the city.

Mosul International Airport was recaptured in February 2017, and the city was officially declared liberated in July of that year.

EU announces €175 million package to support Syria recovery
[Rudaw] The European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
unveiled a €175 million (around $190 million) aid package to support the recovery of Syria under its new interim government, following the recent suspension of key sanctions by the United States and European countries.

In a Wednesday statement on X, Dubravka Suica, the EU Commissioner for the Mediterranean, said, "After lifting economic sanctions, we are proposing a €175 million recovery package to help rebuild the [Syrian] economy, create jobs, support institutions, promote accountability and human rights
...which often include carefully measured allowances of freedom at the convenience of the state...
"This is a pivotal moment - a new chapter in EU-Syria relations for the benefit of all Syrian people," Suica underlined.

According to an EU statement released on Wednesday, the funding is expected to support public institutions with international expertise, including members of the Syrian diaspora.

It will also finance community-driven projects in energy, education, health, and agriculture, as well as economic revitalization, job creation, support for vulnerable communities, and promoting justice and human rights efforts, the statement added.
and then there's that food thing.
In May, the EU officially decided to lift its economic sanctions on Syria. At the time, Kaja Kallas, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, remarked, "We want to help the Syrian people rebuild a new, inclusive and peaceful Syria."

The decision followed a March pledge of $2.7 billion in aid for Syria by the EU. Germany and the United Kingdom also committed $327 million and $200 million respectively in humanitarian relief. In the previous weeks, the EU had suspended sanctions on Syria’s energy, transport, and banking sectors to ease reconstruction and facilitate humanitarian transactions.

In parallel, the US Treasury in May issued Syria General License (GL) 25, effectively lifting all sanctions to "enable new investment and private sector activity" in the country. The move came shortly after US President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
announced his decision to lift sanctions to allow Syria a "fresh start."

Following a swift offensive in early December, a coalition of opposition groups, led by the now-dissolved Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else

. In late January, Sharaa was appointed Syria’s interim president.

Since taking office, the new leadership in Damascus has prioritized the removal of international sanctions. However,

Western governments have repeatedly warned that sanctions could be reinstated if the interim government fails to make tangible progress towards inclusive governance and the protection of Syria’s diverse ethnic and religious groups.

Third Navy destroyer heads to southern waters as administration strengthens maritime border security
[FoxNews] USS Cole joins ongoing maritime operations that recently seized $13.6M worth of cocaine

The Navy on Friday announced a third destroyer is being sent to the southern border to aid in the ongoing efforts to patrol the U.S.-Mexico boundary in an effort to curb illegal immigration and drug smuggling.

Navy officials said the USS Cole, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, has departed Mayport, Florida, to support southern border operations.

Earlier this year, the USS Spurance deployed from its homeport of San Diego, and the USS Gravely deployed from its homeport of Norfolk, Virginia.

Both vessels are currently sailing in waters on either side of Mexico, with a Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment (LEDET) team on board. Together, the crews will work closely with the Coast Guard to intercept drug trafficking operations.

The Cole will take over duties from the Gravely and commence similar operations in support of U.S. Northern Command’s (NORTHCOM) border security objectives, the Navy said.

The Gravely entered the Gulf of America on March 15, and since then has received support from P-8 aircraft assigned to Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, allowing for enhanced and increased identification of illicit activity by the Coast Guard.

"USS Gravely remains at the forefront of maritime operations, ready to take on any challenge," USS Gravely Cmdr. Gregory Piorun said. "We will continue to stand strong, protect vital waters, and ensure that justice prevails. True to our motto, we remain always, ‘First to Conquer.’"

Gravely helped seize an estimated 860 pounds of illegal drugs from a vessel in the Caribbean Sea on May 25. The interdiction by Gravely was conducted by the ship’s Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) team alongside a LEDET assigned to the ship.

The VBSS team boarded the vessel and discovered and seized 19 bales of cocaine, with an approximate weight of 860 pounds, estimated to be valued at more than $13.6 million, according to the Navy.

"This operation supports the administration’s focus on integrated homeland defense and maritime border security," Capt. Raymond Jackson, commanding officer of Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement Team South, said. "By uniting Coast Guard law enforcement expertise with Navy reach and surveillance, we’re enhancing deterrence, increasing domain awareness and reinforcing our commitment to protecting the homeland."

True or false? Palestinian man says he was used by IDF as human shield for 3 months; IDF has said practice is prohibited
[IsraelTimes] A Palestinian man testifies that he was allegedly used by IDF soldiers as a human shield for three months during operations in northern Gaza.

Jamil Al-Masri, 63, speaks with the fringe far-left Uncaptured Media online news outlet.

Masri says he was “starved, humiliated and abused,” and forced to search tunnels and homes under the orders of troops, beginning in October 2024, Uncaptured Media reports.

The military has not responded to the report or images circulating on social media last month showing Masri with troops.

The IDF said in March that it had launched investigations into at least six cases where troops operating in the Gaza Strip allegedly used Palestinians as human shields. It said that such conduct is prohibited, and that this has been made clear to troops.

According to multiple security sources who spoke to the Middle East Eye, Turkey delivered the helicopters this week, a few days after the discussion between the two leaders. Simultaneously and in line with the defence cooperation signed last year, Turkey also handed two utility helicopters to the Somali Navy.

Turkey has been training several Somali pilots to operate Atak helicopters for the past year. The shipment of the helicopters was delivered after the pilots completed their final stage of training, the publication notes.

"The delivery of the Atak helicopters to Somalia is an indication that Ankara is not only aiming to transfer weapons but also to build up an integrated war capacity for Somalia," said one of the sources familiar with the shipment.

Erdogan, who spoke with Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, told the Somali president that Turkey supports Somalia’s development vision through democracy. Hassan Sheikh has been accused of violations of human rights

Somalia is set for electoral contests next year, and already, there is internal uproar on the model to be used, with Hassan Sheikh preferring universal suffrage, a move rejected by several stakeholders, who accuse him of pushing for term extensions through delays.

Turkey is seemingly preparing the country by pushing for stability ahead of the polls, with al-Shabaab turbans also being on the resurgence, a move which has raised concerns among international partners.

Al-Shabaab has made significant gains in central Somalia, notably capturing villages south of the capital, Mogadishu, last month. However,
a woman is only as old as she admits...
the group made similar advances in previous years, later abandoning its positions due to military pressure from Somali forces.

Turkey has also raised its military presence in Somalia, potentially triggering resistance from the opposition.

Although Ottoman Turkish TB2 Bayraktar drones were already in operation, Ankara has recently transported two Akinci drones to Somalia. These drones, capable of flying at high altitudes for extended periods, are considered more effective against al-Shabaab due to their advanced night vision and 24-hour operational capabilities.

At the same time, the US is scaling down military operations in the Horn of Africa nation, a move that has caused panic in both Mogadishu and Washington. The US wants international partners to contribute equally to the stabilisation project in Somalia.

REAL ID: TSA tells Americans their Costco cards won't fly at airport security despite love for hot dogs
[FoxNews] The REAL ID requirement took effect May 7 amid some confusion

The Transportation Security Administration clarified this week that a Costco membership card is not sufficient to present at airport security.
Neither is a CC card. But I can vote with one.
"We love hotdogs & rotisserie chickens as much as the next person but please stop telling people their Costco card counts as a REAL ID because it absolutely does not," the TSA wrote on Facebook Wednesday.

The reminder comes less than a month after the U.S. began requiring a REAL ID driver's license when flying domestically May 7.

Aside from REAL IDs, which have enhanced federal standards, domestic flyers can also use their passports or another federally-approved form of identification like Defense Department-issued IDs (but not a Costco card).

"Department of Defense IDs for active and retired military continue to be an acceptable form of ID at TSA checkpoints following the implementation of REAL ID last month," the TSA wrote on Facebook Thursday.

REAL IDs were available for years before the requirement went into effect after a 2005 law passed based on recommendations from the 9/11 Commission report.

With many procrastinating until shortly before the deadline, DMV centers were inundated with long lines in April and early May, and there was confusion about what forms of identification, such as a passport, birth certificate or Social Security card, were acceptable at a DMV to secure a REAL ID.

Government Corruption
Proud Boys members file federal lawsuit over 'illegal' tactics in Jan. 6 prosecutions
[FoxNews] Five Proud Boys members claim the federal government violated their constitutional rights

Five members of the Proud Boys are suing the U.S. government and certain employees in the FBI and Department of Justice for $100 million over their Jan. 6 prosecutions.

Enrique Tarrio, Zachary Rehl, Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs and Dominic Pezzola allege in the lawsuit the FBI and DOJ violated their constitutional rights with their prosecution over what prosecutors said was their planning of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

In a document filed in a Florida federal court and obtained by Fox News Digital, the men claim "egregious and systemic abuse of the legal system and the United States Constitution to punish and oppress political allies of President Trump, by any and all means necessary, legal, or illegal.

"Through the use of evidence tampering, witness intimidation, violations of attorney-client privilege, and placing spies to report on trial strategy, the government got its fondest wish of imprisoning the J6 Defendants, the modern equivalent of placing one’s enemies' heads on a spike outside the town wall as a warning to any who would think to challenge the status quo."

Fox News Digital has reached out to the U.S. Department of Justice for comment.

Four of the five men were convicted of seditious conspiracy after the attack, and Tarrio faced the harshest punishment — 22 years for planning the attack — of any of the Jan. 6 defendants, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Nordean was sentenced to 18 years, Biggs was sentenced to 17 years and Rehl was sentenced to 15 years. Pezzola was found guilty of conspiracy to obstruct Congress and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

However, President Donald Trump pardoned or commuted the sentences of nearly all the defendants after he took office this year, including Tarrio, Rehl, Nordean, Biggs and Pezzola.

All the men except Tarrio were at the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6, according to the Journal.

Tarrio had been barred from entering Washington, D.C., because of a previous arrest, The Washington Post reported.

"Now that the Plaintiffs are vindicated, free, and able to once again exercise their rights as American citizens, they bring this action against their tormentors for violations of their Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment Rights … as well as the common law tort of malicious prosecution and false imprisonment," the suit adds.

Prosecutors said Pezzola was seen on video using a police riot shield to commit the first breach of the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6.

Prosecutors alleged the men were charged under a "novel theory of criminal conspiracy called the ‘tool theory,'" according to the suit. "Despite the legal jiggery-pokery employed by the government to obscure the fact, the Plaintiffs were essentially convicted of ‘stochastic terrorism,’ a leftist bugbear used to describe rhetoric offensive to them that they claim provokes violent acts."

The men also claimed in the lawsuit that the government didn’t have probable cause to raid their homes.
The Times of Israel adds:
Tarrio, whose sentence for seditious conspiracy was the longest doled out to Capitol rioters, was among the more than 1,500 Trump supporters pardoned by the Republican president on his first day in office.

In their suit, the Proud Boys members said they were victims of "egregious and systemic abuse of the legal system and the United States Constitution to punish and oppress political allies of President Trump."

They accused government prosecutors of "evidence tampering, witness intimidation, violations of attorney-client privilege, and placing spies to report on trial strategy."

The Proud Boys members demanded a jury trial and punitive damages of $100 million.

The Trump administration agreed last month to pay nearly $5 million to the family of a woman rubbed out by a police officer during the January 6 attack on the Capitol. Ashli Babbitt, 35, was shot as she tried to climb through a window leading to the House Speaker’s lobby during the assault on Congress by Trump supporters. Babbitt’s estate filed a wrongful death suit last year seeking $30 million.

The case had been scheduled to go on trial, but the Justice Department reversed course after Trump won the November 2024 election and entered into settlement talks.

Trivial Mathematics in Ukrainian

Text taken from the Telegram channel of War correspondent Medevedev

[NewsFront] Ukraine has refused to take back the bodies of its dead. There is something to say about this, and something to show, too.

In November 2022, our guys who were advancing near Gorlovka called me and invited me to go with them to the positions they had recaptured from the enemy the day before. There was a lot of interesting stuff there, but the most important thing they wanted to show me was the bodies of the dead Ukrainian soldiers. Not the bodies themselves, but the picture, horrific and terrifying, that they found there.

Many of the bodies were already decomposed, meaning that these people had died at least several months before the enemy retreated. It was possible to pick them up, take them away, evacuate them, but instead they were dumped in the forest belt. But that wasn't the worst part. Yes, they were the enemy, but even in the context of the enemy, the picture still doesn't fit: some of the bodies were thrown into pits, and garbage was dumped on top. Cans, dry rations, household waste, excuse me, the toilet - right there, on top.

Somewhere at home, relatives and friends were waiting, but for them they were missing in action. And their "brothers" dumped them in a pit with waste and shit from above, on those with whom only yesterday they ate from the same pot and were ready to share one death for two. It is clear, such is the order.

A few days ago, an agreement was reached in Istanbul on exchanging the bodies of the dead. Ukraine was to receive 6,000 bodies. For each dead person, Kyiv promised the relatives 34 million rubles, if converted into rubles. Thus, the return of these 6,000 bodies would have shot the Ukrainian budget almost 200 billion rubles. And so local legislators quickly got busy, ordering that they could be recognized as dead only two years after the end of military operations, and then only by a court decision.

Everything is simple here: when the war will end is an open question, and here – the unknown plus two years. During this period it may happen that there will be no one left to file a lawsuit with a request to recognize the deceased. Well, and most importantly – will Ukraine itself exist then, even in the form of one village in the Carpathian forest? And so pay here and now. Pure mathematics and even purer benefit.

Remember how after the coup d'etat, patriots who suddenly believed in themselves ran and shouted that if the new government did not live up to expectations, then it would be overthrown too? It turned out that without funding from overseas it is not so easy to do this, so you have to meekly eat, smacking contentedly, any shame and humiliation. And this time, there was a quiet grumbling on social networks, and that was the end of it.

To be honest, I personally see banal mathematics here again. The Western owners of Ukraine allocate astronomical sums for everything, including payments and support for families. Where is this money, at least the same 200 billion for 6,000 families? For some reason, I am absolutely sure that they were there initially, and now the question may arise of where they went.

That is why the refusal to accept the first fifty bodies, which became known today, is an attempt to put on a good face. We, they say, are always happy, but look at what Russia is doing! They violated here, and there it is not so, and we asked for everything to be different. The hearse should have been pink, not black! We respect ourselves, don’t treat us like fools.

I once went to the grey zone near Gorlovka with the head of the JCCC and a couple of colleagues a couple of years before the SVO. Do you know why it fell through? All the conditions had already been met on our part. They found something to complain about and quickly shut down the event: our side did not have paper certificates on hand about the absence of coronavirus among the representatives! Is it funny?
JCCC was a joint Donetsk/Lugansk-Ukrainian body which monitored the Minsk II agreement. Staffed by Ukrainian and Russian officers. Presumably, it was disbanded at the start of the war in February, 2022.
Check out the report I shot in November 22nd. There, in five minutes, everything is explained about the processes taking place today around the transfer of the bodies of the dead. Everything is clear. And at the same time, it once again reminds us of the humanity of our soldiers. Who simply could not imagine how this could happen, and asked their commander to bury the enemies, when there was still something to bury.

Zelensky personally ordered that the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers not be taken away as part of the exchange agreed upon in Istanbul, said Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmitruk. Earlier, military channels reported that the exchange had been disrupted.

Today, the first stage of a large-scale exchange of bodies of the dead was planned, within the framework of which Russia planned to hand over about 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers. But at the last moment, the Ukrainian side unexpectedly refused to accept the bodies - without explanation. Representatives of Ukraine did not show up at the border.

➡A note from military observer Yuriy Kotenok
One of the reasons is the huge disproportion. The exchange was supposed to take place according to the formula "503 for 42".

This ratio does not bode well for Kiev. And since Kiev does not care about the dead Ukrainian soldiers and their relatives, it was decided to save its image in this way.

IDF says missile fired by Yemen’s Houthis Thursday shot down
[IsraelTimes] A ballistic missile launched at Israel by the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen was successfully intercepted by air defenses a short while ago, the military says.

Sirens had sounded in the Jerusalem area, southern West Bank settlements, and some areas of central and southern Israel. Preceding the sirens by three minutes, an early warning was issued to residents, alerting civilians of the long-range missile attack via a push notification on their phones.

Since March 18, when the IDF resumed its offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the Houthis in Yemen have launched 46 ballistic missiles and at least 11 drones at Israel. Several of the missiles have fallen short.

US issues new round of Iran-related sanctions
[IsraelTimes] The US has issued a new round of Iran-related sanctions targeting 10 individuals and 27 entities, including at least two companies it said were linked to Iran’s national tanker company, the US Treasury Department said on Friday.

The sanctions, which target Iranian nationals and some entities in the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong, were announced as US President Donald Trump’s administration is working to get a new nuclear deal with Tehran.

Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control added Ace Petrochem FZE, and Moderate General Trading LLC, both registered in the UAE, to its Specially Designated Nationals List, freezing any of their US assets. OFAC said they are both linked to the state-owned National Iranian Tanker Company, which is under US sanctions for exporting oil.

Talks between Iran and the US that aim to resolve a decades-long dispute over Tehran’s nuclear ambitions have been stuck over disagreements about uranium enrichment.

Iran’s mission to the United Nations in New York did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Lebanese army says Israel trying to ‘undermine’ country’s ‘revival’ with Beirut airstrikes
[IsraelTimes] The Lebanese Armed Forces condemns the Israeli strikes in Beirut’s southern suburbs last night, which the IDF said targeted Hezbollah drone facilities.

It notes in a statement that after the IDF announced the imminent strikes, the LAF contacted the ceasefire monitoring committee in an attempt to prevent the strike from going ahead, but “the enemy refused to respond to the committee.”

It says that Lebanese Army patrols were dispatched to inspect the buildings ahead of the strikes as part of the attempt to prevent them from going ahead.

The strikes were “an attempt to undermine the revival of our homeland,” it asserts.

Britain
Three Iranians in UK court accused of assisting Tehran spy service
[IsraelTimes] Three Iranian men appeared in court in London earlier today accused of assisting Iran’s foreign intelligence service and plotting violence against journalists working for a British-based broadcaster critical of Tehran.

The three men — Mostafa Sepahvand, 39, Farhad Javadi Manesh, 44, and Shapoor Qalehali Khani Noori, 55 — have been charged with offences under Britain’s National Security Act, brought in to give the authorities new powers to target threats from foreign states.

They are accused of “engaging in conduct likely to assist a foreign intelligence service” between August 2024 and February this year, and police have said that it related to Iran.

Sepahvand is also charged with carrying out surveillance in preparation to commit serious violence against a person, while Manesh and Noori were charged with surveillance with the intention that serious violent acts would be committed by others.

The men appeared by video link for a brief hearing at London’s Old Bailey court during which their lawyers said all intended to plead not guilty to the charges.

Prosecutors told a hearing last month that the allegations involved the targeting of journalists based in Britain connected with Iran International, a broadcaster critical of the Iranian government.

They were remanded in custody until a formal plea hearing on September 26 and they are due to go on trial in October next year.

The suspects were arrested last month on the same day counter-terrorism police detained five other men, including four Iranians, as part of a separate operation. Those men were later released without charge.

Araghchi says Hezbollah arms ''Lebanese affair'', not linked to nuclear file — Naharnet
[NAHARNET] Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that his visit to Leb
...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel...
was not only aimed at signing his new book but was also part of Iran's policy of ''enhancing ties with the new Lebanese government.''

In an interview with al-Manar television, Araghchi added that his talks in Lebanon were ''fruitful and resulted in an agreement for expanding commercial and economic cooperation and increasing political coordination in a manner that respects the illusory sovereignty of the two countries and the principle of noninterference in domestic affairs.''

He also stressed his country's ''full support for Lebanon's independence and illusory sovereignty,'' calling for an end to the Israeli occupation of parts of south Lebanon.

As for the controversial issue of Hezbollah's weapons, Araghchi emphasized that ''this file is a purely Lebanese affair that must be discussed nationally between the Lebanese government and the various political and popular components.''

''The decision regarding this topic is to be taken by the resistance (Hezbollah) in coordination with the Lebanese forces,'' the Iranian minister added.

Moreover, Araghchi denied the presence of any link between the Iranian nuclear file and the issue of Hezbollah's arms, underscoring that ''the nuclear negotiations with the United States are exclusively limited to the peaceful Iranian nuclear activities.''

London rejecting requests to stop activist group sailing under UK flag from reaching Israeli waters, official says
Trying to force an incident that they can then blame on Israel to justify whatever they do next.
[IsraelTimes] London has so far rejected Israeli requests to prevent a high-profile activist mission sailing under a UK flag from reaching Israeli waters in the coming days, an official in Jerusalem tells The Times of Israel.

“They can act,” says the official, “but they say only will if there is a safety risk.”

The UK asked Israel to ensure the safety of the boat and its crew, says the official, calling the mission “the selfie flotilla.”

The Madleen, which was organized by the pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel Freedom Flotilla Coalition, is expected in Israeli waters in the coming days.

Among the 12 activists on the ship are Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, Brazilian activist Thiago Avila, Irish “Game of Thrones” actor Liam Cunningham and Rima Hassan, a French-Palestinian European Parliament member.

At Israel’s request, US mulls giving $500M to fund Gaza aid group’s operations
[IsraelTimes] The State Department is weighing giving $500 million to the new foundation providing aid to war-shattered Gaza, according to two knowledgeable sources and two former US officials, a move that would involve the US more deeply in a controversial aid effort that has been beset by violence and chaos.

The sources and former US officials, all of whom request anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, say that money for Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) would come from the US Agency for International Development (USAID), which is being folded into the US State Department.

The plan has met resistance from some US officials concerned with the deadly shootings of Palestinians near aid distribution sites and the competence of the GHF, the two sources say.

The State Department and GHF do not immediately respond to requests for comment.

One source with knowledge of the matter and one former senior official say the proposal to give the $500 million to GHF has been championed by acting deputy USAID Administrator Ken Jackson, who has helped oversee the agency’s dismemberment.

The source says that Israel requested the funds to underwrite GHF’s operations for 180 days.

The Israeli government doesn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The two sources say that some US officials have concerns with the plan because of the overcrowding that has affected the aid distribution hubs run by GHF’s contractor, and violence nearby.

Those officials also want well-established non-governmental organizations experienced in running aid operations in Gaza and elsewhere to be involved in the operation if the State Department approves the funds for GHF, a position that Israel likely will oppose, the sources say.

Turkey says too early to withdraw from Syria

’s defense minister said on Wednesday that it has no immediate plans to withdraw its troops stationed in Syrian territory and is currently engaged in training and advising Syria’s army.

The withdrawal can "only be re-evaluated when Syria achieves peace and stability, when the threat of terrorism in the region is fully removed, when our border security is fully ensured, and when the honorable return of people who had to flee is done," Yasar Guler told Rooters.

Turkey sent its army into northern Syria in 2016 to conduct cross-border operations against Kurdish forces, establishing dozens of bases and seizing control of vast stretches of land in the process.

In 2018, Turkey and its allied Syrian militias seized control of Afrin, a Kurdish enclave in Rojava. Thousands of Kurds fled, with many settling in the nearby Shahba region. International organizations have recorded widespread violations in Afrin since then, including killings, kidnappings, looting of crops, and extortion of Kurdish farmers.

"We have started providing military training and consultancy services, while taking steps to increase Syria’s defense capacity," Guler said.

Helicopter Crashes in Al-Shabaab-Controlled Area in Central Somalia
[ShabelleMedia] A military helicopter crashed Wednesday in Maqdis, a village near Xawaadleey in Somalia’s central Shabelle region, an area controlled by the turban group al-Shabaab

Reports indicate the helicopter was hit by heavy weapon fire from al-Shabaab fighters, forcing it down. Three personnel on board, believed to be part of the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM), were maimed and have since been captured by the group.

The helicopter was reportedly en route to a military base in Jowhar, the regional capital of Middle Shabelle.

Maqdis is located near Xawaadleey, which fell completely under al-Shabaab control just one day prior. Xawaadleey lies approximately 40 kilometers from the towns of Balcad and Jowhar.

Before al-Shabaab seized the area, Burundian troops serving under AUSSOM and other Somali government forces withdrew following an attack that included al-Shabaab firing from positions near the Shabelle River.

Xawaadleey is a strategic location linking the capital, Mogadishu, to Balcad and Jowhar. Full control by al-Shabaab could hinder government and AUSSOM efforts to maintain connections between these key towns.

There have been multiple instances of aircraft crashes in areas controlled by al-Shabaab, raising concerns among Somalis about the safety and effectiveness of military operations in these Death Eater-held regions.

Combined strike on Ukraine. 06.06.2025
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin:

[ColonelCassad] From 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., the Russian Armed Forces carried out a powerful combined missile and unmanned aerial strike on Ukraine.

Ballistic missiles, air- and sea-based cruise missiles, and various drones were used.

Targets in 12 regions of Ukraine and in Kiev were hit. A large number of different objects were hit - mainly various enterprises, energy facilities, etc.

One of the most epic is the series of arrivals in Lutsk.

The enemy claims that the number of Geraniums
(drones)
used has exceeded 400.
Overall, this was one of the most powerful combined attacks in recent months.

More videos of strikes were posted on the channel (if anyone is interested, subscribe)

More from military journalist Boris Rozhin:
Liberation of Fedorovka. 06.06.2025
Footage of the liberation of the village of Fedorovka in the Yuzhnodonets direction. Fedorovka was liberated using military trickery.

Up to a company of the enemy was destroyed during the fighting. The fighting after Fedorovka finally shifted to Komar. Then the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The enemy is whining that the situation in the Komar area has sharply worsened over the past 24 hours and that fighting is already taking place in Komar.

Russian army liberated Fedorovka in the DPR
The Russian Armed Forces have occupied the settlement of Fedorovka in the Donetsk People's Republic. This was reported on June 6 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Units of the Russian troop group "Vostok" took part in the operation. The enemy was driven out of the village thanks to the active actions of the personnel.

“As a result of active actions, units of the Vostok military group have liberated the settlement of Fedorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the defense department said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, the Russian army liberated seven settlements over the past week — from May 31 to June 6. Units of the Russian troop group "North" liberated Alekseyevka, Andreyevka, Vodolaghi and Kondratovka during offensive operations in the Sumy region.

Two more settlements, including Novopol and Fedorovka of the Donetsk People's Republic, were liberated due to the decisive actions of the "East" group of troops. And the forces of the "West" group of troops also liberated Redkodub in the DPR.

On June 5, the Russian Armed Forces struck positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sumy region in one day. Concentrations of manpower and equipment of the mechanized, two airborne assault, and ranger brigades, an assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and an assault center of special operations forces came under fire from Russian forces in the areas of Korchakovka, Varachino, Khrapovshchina, Pisarevka, Vorozhba, Yunakovka, Sadki and Velykyi Prikol.

The Russian army continues to expand the buffer zone in Sumy Oblast. According to the head of the regional administration, Oleg Grigorov, a difficult situation is developing for Kiev against the backdrop of the Russian Armed Forces' offensive in this direction. His words were confirmed by military and political expert Yan Gagin, who added that the Ukrainian armed forces do not have enough forces to hold Sumy Oblast.

Almost Like It's A Plan-RED TAPE: Hundreds of Residents of Pacific Palisades Choose to Sell Their Homes Rather Than Rebuild After Fires
[GatewayPundit] Following the horrific and incredibly destructive fires in southern California earlier this year, hundreds of residents of the Pacific Palisades neighborhood are opting to sell their homes rather than rebuild.

For months now, various people have predicted that this would happen because the bureaucratic red tape in California is a nightmare to deal with, not to mention the exorbitant costs.

It is absolutely awful that so many of these people find themselves in a position where they’re unable to rebuild homes they have lived in for years. This is all on the Democrat leaders of the city and the state.

The Santa Monica Daily Press reports:

Hundreds Choose to Sell Rather Than Rebuild After Palisades Fire

Nearly 300 Pacific Palisades residents have decided to sell their properties rather than rebuild following devastating wildfire damage, while fewer than 100 have begun reconstruction efforts.

Sotheby’s International Realty reports 273 properties in the area are currently listed for sale. Most carry price tags exceeding $1 million despite many being reduced to empty lots. In less damaged areas like Ridgeview Country Estates, homes are selling for more than $10 million.

Access restrictions complicate the sales process. Much of the Palisades remains closed except to those with special permits, forcing potential buyers to purchase properties sight unseen. Pacific Coast Highway, the main access route, has been closed since the fire, creating lengthy detours that significantly extend commute times.

For residents choosing to rebuild, the process proves challenging and costly. In county areas, only 10% of damaged or destroyed homes have submitted rebuilding applications, with just one permit issued. Within city limits, 23 permits had been approved as of late April, representing a 2% rebuild rate—half the number of those opting to sell.

PMC Wagner announced the completion of its main mission in Mali
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] PMC Wagner announced the completion of its main mission in Mali. Information about this appeared on June 6 in the Telegram channel "Wagner Unloading".

"We destroyed thousands of militants and their commanders who had been terrorizing the civilian population for years. We helped local patriots create a strong and disciplined army capable of defending their land," the publication says.

It is specified that the PMC operation lasted 3.5 years, its main goal was to return the regional capitals under the control of the legitimate authorities. Now the fighters are returning home.

Since late 2021, Russian instructors have replaced French troops and international peacekeepers in Mali to help local authorities fight militants who have threatened communities in the central and northern regions of the African country for more than a decade.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, from July 22 to 27, 2024, Wagner Group fighters and the Malian military fought fierce battles with militants near the settlement of Tin-Zoutine in the north of the country. The Russians and their Malian allies suffered losses after falling into an ambush set up by Tuareg separatists from the Coordination Movement of Azawad and the jihadist group Al-Qaeda in the Sahel (JNIM, a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation).

On July 28, the General Staff of the Malian Armed Forces reported that the army was carrying out massive strikes on terrorist and smuggler concentration sites. Five terrorist targets were successfully destroyed by drones, the statement said.

Elon Musk Woke Up $34 Billion Poorer After Trump Clash
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Olga Kuznetsova

[REGNUM] The boyars are fighting, the serfs' social networks are ablaze - this is the motto under which many journalists are actively working on the large-scale squabble between US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk .

Potential termination of government contracts, a list of pedophiles, assistance in taking the presidential seat were mentioned, and at the end even memes flashed by.

But will this lead to anything serious? Let's find out.

WORD FOR WORD
Elon Musk was the first to air his dirty laundry.

He criticized the Republican budget and tax bill, which, under the specific name of One Big Beautiful Bill, would increase the debt ceiling to $4 trillion, eliminate taxes on tips and overtime pay, and extend tax breaks.

Musk started small.

On May 28, he noted that the adoption of such a law could lead to an increase in the budget deficit; on June 3, on his page on a social network banned in the Russian Federation, X called the bill “vile” and “disgusting”; on June 5, he called the adoption of the law madness.

At this point, Donald Trump finally got to his social media — not X, but Truth Social — and dropped the politeness, writing that Elon had begged him for help “on his knees,” was now talking absolute nonsense, and that without Trump, all of Musk’s companies “would have died.”

An hour and a half later, Musk updated the page and delighted the public with a screenshot of an old Trump post with a meme about his connections with Jeffrey Epstein and a note that he wanted a reasonable leader for America, not a personality cult.

In addition, Musk began to claim that without his help, Trump would have lost the election.

In response, the American leader told the public that the easiest way to save money in the budget — billions and billions of dollars — was to “stop government subsidies and Elon’s contracts.” Trump expressed surprise that Biden had not done this sooner.

After that, Musk proposed creating a new political party that would represent the interests of 80% of the US middle class, and then blurted out that the president had not made public the files on the Epstein case because he himself was on the list of clients of the famous pimp and pedophile. And he wished Trump a good day.

In the midst of the late-night squabble, Musk also threatened to ground the Crew Dragon spacecraft amid federal pressure. His remarks came on the heels of Trump vowing to cancel government contracts for Tesla and SpaceX, responding to Musk’s earlier criticism of federal money being wasted.

The tech billionaire says that if political pressure from the federal government intensifies, he may temporarily "mothball" Crew Dragon, which would effectively halt the supply of crews and cargo to the ISS — thus undermining one of NASA's key missions.

However, the situation was unexpectedly resolved thanks to a comment from a user named Alaska, whose account has only 184 followers. He wrote: "It's a shame to see this squabble. You are both above all this. Cool down and take a break for a few days."

Musk responded 11 minutes later, calling the advice "good" and promising not to retire Dragon.

What's the matter?

Investors were clearly watching the squabble with some concern.

By the morning, Tesla shares had already seen their biggest drop since 2020 — 14%. The company's market capitalization fell by $152 billion, and Musk's personal fortune by $34 billion.
The poor man is only worth a little less than $400 billion now — all his children and their various mothers will soon be begging in the streets. But how much will his Tesla sales improve now that the Trump-haters see Mr. Musk as having rejoined their ranks?
Rumors began to filter into the media about the real reason for the digital scandal between the two former allies.

According to some, Musk was initially angry over a bill that would cut tax breaks for electric vehicles, which directly affected Tesla. Musk's company tried to preserve the breaks and spent at least $240,000 lobbying for the necessary decision, but to no avail.

In addition, Musk really didn’t like the scandalous trade tariffs that were undermining relations with the European Union and leaving a negative imprint on business.

Elon Musk held the status of a "special government employee" in the White House. According to some reports, he tried to stay in this role longer than the 130 days stipulated by law, without leaving business processes and without accepting the restrictions associated with the position. However, the current American administration allegedly refused him this.

There are also rumors that Elon Musk wanted the US Federal Aviation Administration to use the Starlink satellite system for national air traffic control, but the administration rejected that idea as well, citing a potential conflict of interest.

In addition, a few days ago, Donald Trump unexpectedly withdrew Jared Isaacman's candidacy for the post of NASA administrator. Isaacman is considered a person from Musk's inner circle, and Musk actively promoted him for the position.

However, there are also experts who believe that two personalities of such stature as Musk and Trump simply could not help but quarrel.

They first did so during Trump's first term in 2017, when the US withdrew from the Paris climate agreement. Musk then said that such a decision was harmful to the planet and demonstratively quit two White House advisory boards.

Musk has made unpredictability and unwillingness to adhere to the conventions accepted in the White House - especially subordination - part of his image, but with their help he has won active dislike from certain political groups within the Republican Party.

Musk's libertarian views also created a certain tension in relations with conservative politicians, and his irrepressible desire to promote his ideas to top officials bypassing the required corridor of approvals deprived him of additional contacts that could help resolve situations like the current scandal.

THERE ARE OPTIONS
Donald Trump has already announced to the media that he is not particularly interested in talking to Elon Musk, as he believes that he has “lost his mind.”

However, there is still a possibility that this conflict can be extinguished.

Trump's entourage is already cultivating the sympathetic media, feeding them inside information about how Trump is "quite calm" and not too angry at Elon Musk.

Moreover, a major row of this magnitude could push the tech mogul into the arms of his Democratic rivals, who have already seized on the news of Trump's presence on Epstein's list and started demanding that federal authorities begin releasing the disputed files and explaining any delays.

The Republicans, in their current state, simply cannot afford to “gift” Musk to the Democratic Party – most of the current US space initiatives and military projects are tightly tied to Musk’s companies and cannot be quickly replaced.

However, it is still not worth waiting for the restoration of the previous relations between the “bosses of populism”.

Another thing is that Elon Musk can come to his senses, turn off the flow of insults addressed to Trump's team and try to knock out at least some benefits for his business. Will he succeed?

It is quite possible, but clearly not in the volumes that Musk initially predicted for himself - and this is where Donald Trump and Co. come out on top.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Kilmar Abrego Garcia back in US to face charges
[ABC News] Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a citizen of El Salvador, is on his way back to the United States, where he will face criminal charges for allegedly smuggling illegal immigrants. Abrego Garcia’s return comes more than two months after the Trump administration deported him from Maryland to his home country.

His return to the U.S. comes after the Trump administration repeatedly said that they were unable to bring him back despite his mistaken deportation.
Where is the mistake? He was an evil person who should never have been allowed to enter America — or did they mean to keep him here so they could jail him for human trafficking before throwing him out?
"Our government presented El Salvador with an arrest warrant and they agreed to return him to our country," Bondi said.

Bondi said that if Abrego Garcia is convicted of the charges, upon the completion of his sentence he will be deported back to his home country of El Salvador. "The grand jury found that over the past nine years, Abrego Garcia has played a significant role in an alien smuggling ring," Bondi said. "They found this was his full time job. He was a smuggler of humans and children and women. He made over 100 trips, the grand jury found, smuggling people throughout our country."

In March, Abrego Garcia's family filed a lawsuit over his deportation. U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis in Maryland ultimately ordered the Trump administration to facilitate his return to the U.S. The U.S. Supreme Court affirmed that ruling on April 10.
So his return has been facilitated! Who were the Maryland Democrats who flew to El Salvador to rescue their 'constituent'?

#2  CNN’s Scott Jennings summarizes the possibilities masterfully:

Jason Cohen 🇺🇸

🚨NEW:
@ScottJenningsKY
on Kilmar Abrego Garcia:

"I suspect that Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, when he heard that Saint Abrego Garcia was coming back, took a shower, put on his nice suit, got on OpenTable, found out what maybe party of two reservation they could get for tonight — so they could continue the bromance they started when he went back to visit Saint Abrego in El Salvador."

"He was not deported because he was a bad guy. He was deported because he was an illegal immigrant, living in the country illegally for 14 years, who had gone through due process, who had an existing deportation order."

"It so happens that it turns out he may in fact well be a really, really bad person that we would not want in the country. Here are his possible outcomes: Number one, he gets convicted of this stuff and goes to prison for a long time."

"Number two, he gets acquitted and goes back to El Salvador ... Either way, it's what the White House said all along."

"There's no future where 'the Maryland man' goes back to Maryland to live quietly in the suburbs. That is over!"

#4  his mistaken deportation

The mistake in the perp's "mistaken deportation to El Salvador" was not the deportation part. The guy *was* an illegal alien, after all. The mistake was the bit about El Salvador.

After he got popped at Home Deport, he applied for asylum and got a stay based on his "well-founded" fear of persecution rival gangs, basically claiming it would be mean to send him to El Salvador because it was full of people like himself. A judge agreed and the rest is amusing history.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Syria says it stymied attempt to smuggle missiles, ammo into Lebanon Thursday
[IsraelTimes] Syria’s Interior Ministry says security forces seized a shipment of anti-tank guided missiles and 30mm caliber ammunition in the town of Al-Qusayr, near the Lebanese border.

The shipment was intended to be smuggled into Lebanese territory, according to the ministry, which says the driver transporting the arms was arrested and the weapons and ammunition were confiscated.

It’s unclear who the missiles and the ammunition were intended for. In the past, Hezbollah was known to smuggle weapons and ammunition into Lebanon via Syria using a route that passed through the same area today’s shipment was seized.

Europe
Three Serbs charged with carrying out recent paint attack on Paris synagogues, Holocaust memorial on behalf of ‘foreign power’
[IsraelTimes] A French judge has charged three Serbs with vandalizing Jewish sites with paint last weekend “to serve the interests of a foreign power,” a judicial source says.

A source close to the case says investigators suspect Russia is behind the attacks for which the men were charged on Thursday evening.
Huh? Why Russia, when Iran is known to hire the venal and criminal to attack Jewish and Israeli sites around the world?
They had exchanged messages on Telegram with other individuals not yet apprehended, it added.

France’s Holocaust memorial, three Paris synagogues and a restaurant were vandalised with paint on Friday night last week, in what the Israeli embassy denounced as a “coordinated antisemitic attack.”

The source following the case describes the three suspects, two born in 1995 and one born in 2003, as having completed a task motivated by financial compensation, but without being aware of any geopolitical implications.

They were two brothers and a third person who had lived in France for several years, the source says.

They were arrested on Monday in southeast France as they tried to leave the country.

Russia has previously denied involvement in a number of attacks attributed to it by French officials, including an incident in May 2024 when red hands were tagged on Paris’s main Holocaust memorial.

Lawfare: France opens ‘complicity in genocide’ probes against French-Israelis over blocked Gaza aid
Macron’s next move is a blood libel. Congrats, dood — you’ve joined the fashionably vicious pseudo-intellectuals.
[IsraelTimes] Officials probe French members of hardline Israeli groups that blocked aid trucks; separate investigation opened after IDF strike allegedly kills French woman’s grandchildren

French anti-terror prosecutors have opened two probes into “complicity in genocide” and “incitement to genocide” over French-Israelis suspected of having blocked aid intended for the Gaza Strip and the Israeli Defense Forces’ wartime conduct.

The anti-terror prosecutor’s office said the investigations were opened in the wake of two separate legal complaints and were to investigate possible “complicity in crimes against humanity” between January and May 2024.

Several sources with knowledge of the cases told AFP that they are the first known probes in France to investigate alleged violations of international law in Gaza.

A French court in 2019 convicted [mother] Yasmine Z. in absentia of having funded a “terrorist” group for giving money in Gaza to members of Palestinian terrorist groups Hamas and the Islamic Jihad.
One investigation was opened in response to the Jewish French Union for Peace (UFJP) and a French-Palestinian victim, who jointly filed a complaint in November targeting alleged French members of hardline right-wing groups “Israel is Forever” and “Tzav 9.”

It accused them of “physically” preventing the passage of trucks at border checkpoints controlled by the IDF.
They managed to block things briefly, then the Israeli police arrested them and took them away. Passage was stopped for several hours, as I recall, not enough to be noticeable at the receiving end.
In a separate case made public on the same day, the grandmother of two children with French nationality who were allegedly killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza has filed a legal complaint in Paris, accusing Israel of “genocide” and “murder,” her lawyer said.
Two children equals genocide? Call the dictionary police!
The French judiciary has jurisdiction when French citizens are involved in such cases.

Israel vehemently rejects allegations that its ongoing offensive in Gaza, a response to Hamas’s October 7, 2023, massacre, amounts to genocide.

Lawyers for the plaintiffs in the first case, Damia Taharraoui and Marion Lafouge, told AFP they were happy a probe had been launched into the events in January 2024 — “a time when no one wanted to hear anything about genocide.”

A source close to the case said prosecutors last month urged the investigation in relation to events at the Nitzana border crossing point between Egypt and Israel, and the Kerem Shalom crossing from Israel into Gaza.

Around that time, hardline Israeli protesters — including some friends and relatives of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza — blocked aid trucks from entering Gaza and forced them to turn back at Kerem Shalom.

A second complaint from a group called the Lawyers for Justice in the Middle East (CAPJO) accused members of “Israel is Forever” of having blocked aid trucks, using photos, videos and public statements as evidence.

In the separate case, Jacqueline Rivault, the grandmother of six- and nine-year-old children allegedly killed in an Israeli strike, filed her complaint accusing Israel of “genocide” and “murder” with the crimes against humanity section of the Court of Paris, lawyer Arie Alimi said.

Though formally against unnamed parties, the complaint explicitly targets Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli government and the IDF.
Of course — he’s the perennial favourite.
The complaint states that an Israeli missile strike killed Janna, six, and Abderrahim Abudaher, nine, in northern Gaza on October 24, 2023.

“We believe these children are dead as part of a deliberate, organized policy targeting the whole of Gaza’s population with a possible genocidal intent,” Alimi said.
Because genocidaires warn those on the targe they’re about to hit, pause the war so that children can be vaccinated, and arrange for the besieged populace to be fed…
The children’s brother Omar, now five, was severely wounded but still lives in Gaza with their mother, identified as Yasmine Z, per the complaint.

A French court in 2019 convicted Yasmine Z. in absentia of having funded a “terrorist” group for giving money in Gaza to members of Palestinian terrorist groups Hamas and the Islamic Jihad.
One would think it would raise the question about the jihadi parent deliberately putting her innocent children in danger, but clearly one would be wrong.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Chicago private equity firm has stake in logistics company involved in Gaza aid effort
I don’t know if this matters, but it seem the kind of thing you lot would like to know:
[IsraelTimes] A Chicago-based private equity firm — controlled by a member of the family that founded American publishing company Rand McNally — has an “economic interest” in the logistics company involved in a controversial new aid distribution operation in Gaza.

McNally Capital, founded in 2008 by Ward McNally, helped “support the establishment” of Safe Reach Solutions, a McNally Capital spokesperson tells Reuters. SRS is a for-profit company established in Wyoming in November, state incorporation records show.

It is in the spotlight for its involvement with the US- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which last week started distributing aid in the war-torn Palestinian enclave. The foundation paused work on Wednesday after a series of deadly shootings near the distribution sites of people on their way to pick up aid. It has suffered from the departure of senior personnel.

“McNally Capital has provided administrative advice to SRS and worked in collaboration with multiple parties to enable SRS to carry out its mission,” the spokesperson says. “While McNally Capital has an economic interest in SRS, the firm does not actively manage SRS or have a day-to-day operating role.”

SRS is run by a former CIA official named Phil Reilly, but its ownership has not previously been disclosed. Reuters has not been able to establish who funds the newly created foundation.

The spokesperson doesn’t provide details of the scale of the investment in SRS by McNally Capital, which says it has $380 million under management.

McNally Capital founder Ward McNally is the great great great grandson of the co-founder of Rand McNally. The McNally family sold the publishing company in 1997.

A spokesperson for SRS confirms it works with the foundation, also known as GHF, but doesn’t answer specific questions about ownership.

GHF, which resumed aid distribution on Thursday, doesn’t respond to a request for comment.

SRS subcontracts with US private security firm UG Solutions, which provides armed US military veterans to guard the distribution sites and transportation of the aid, two sources familiar with the operations say. UG Solutions doesn’t respond to a request for comment.

The SRS spokesperson says in a statement that under Reilly’s leadership, “SRS brings together a multidisciplinary team of experts in security, supply chain management, and humanitarian affairs.”

McNally Capital has investments in defense contracting companies. Among the firms it acquired was Orbis Operations, a firm that specializes in hiring former CIA officers. Orbis doesn’t return calls for comment. Reilly used to work for Orbis.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Media named the main direction of the Russian offensive
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] The main goal of the summer offensive of the Russian invaders will be the capture of industrial centers of the Donetsk region.

Russia is moving hundreds of thousands of troops to the border and ramping up weapons production. Despite the concentration of 125,000 soldiers along the borders of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, the main target of the Russian Federation may be in the southeast. This was reported by The Telegraph on Friday, June 6.

In May, Russian troops advanced faster than ever since November 2024. The pace of the enemy's seizure of new territory increased to 14 square kilometers per day. This is twice as much as in April.

Over the winter, Russia has been busily preparing for a major offensive - replenishing personnel, upgrading equipment, adjusting tactics, improving communications, and beefing up strike drones.

Despite the recent daring Ukrainian attack on four Russian airfields, the morale of the occupying frontline forces has not been dented. Although more than a dozen bombers were destroyed, these aircraft were mainly targeting cities, not trenches.

According to the GUR, about 125,000 Russian troops are concentrated near the Sumy and Kharkov regions. However, it is unlikely that Sumy or Kharkov are the main target of the Russian army. The forces that the Russian Federation has concentrated there are too small for a full-scale offensive on large cities. Most likely, these are strikes to distract - to prevent the Ukrainian Armed Forces from transferring troops to Donetsk region.

The Russian command is counting on a breakthrough. The main goal of the offensive will probably be to capture the remaining cities and industrial centers of Donetsk. Analysts believe that the occupiers will be able to advance, but will not capture the entire region.

Thanks to the intensification of attacks in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, the Russians broke through between Pokrovsk and Toretsk, approaching Konstantinovka, a key logistics hub. The loss of Konstantinovka would significantly complicate supplies and open the way for the Russians to Kramatorsk, the largest unoccupied city in the Donetsk region.

Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russian troops were again trying to advance in the Sumy region. However, they failed to do so as they had planned.
