#3 Charging someone with airline upgrades seems novel. There doesn’t seem to be any history of anyone else being charged similarly. It’s almost like Adams was targeted.

#5 I think the problem is that even though Adams is corrupt THESE legal actions were primarily politically motivated and would not stand up under fair appeal even if he was convicted. Better to start fresh.
