#1 Interesting how our Fed's continue to track Guns and related Electronic Data long after the law states the Electronic data records are to be erased. The legal responsibility of FED's NICS group is to erase such data in a very short period of time I think it is less than 5 days.

BTW: Why are written records kept for 20 years when statues of Limitation would have expired for every crime under the US Criminal Code except Murder and 1 or 2 others?

#4 Spoter B - hence many smarter people, years ago, took the time to sell their ATF registered firearms in PRIVATE Sales. An purchase excellent condition used firearms the same way.

Can only begin to guess how many private sales I have seen at gun shows and Firing ranges.
